Fullmetal Alchemist [Chapter 60]

Ed was exclaiming how large the place is until Olivia told him to stop it or else, she would pull his hair [antenna] out. At the clinic, the doctor told him about frostbite and other tips on using automail in the cold. Edward asked why did that other guy Bakkanya/Bucaneer who has an automail is okay. Bucaneer then came in asking for help since Al’s head is stuck on his automail. The doctor then told her about their automail being not made of iron so Ed’s decomposition alchemy didn’t work for he thought it was iron, and other stuff like oil, etc. Bucaneer asked why did she told them about his weakness. She told him because he is a state alchemist. She then told Ed to replace his automail from his mechanic if he plans to stay long at that place. Al then got his head back as he was all sad for his hair on the helmet has to be cut off. Bucaneer then asked why did he came there when Ed remembered why he came and start badmouthing Olivia over tearing up Alex’s letter when Olivia came. She then asked why they came. They thought about it and decided not to tell her about the fuhrer being a homoculi and just stick to their story about wanting to gain back their bodies again. Olivia decied to thelp them find Xiao Mei for she is also interested in Xing’s alchemy to help her guard the borders. In the meantime, they would be given jobs for they have a motto, you don’t eat if you don’t work. As Olivia left, it was revealed that she knew that the brothers are still keeping something a secret.

While walking, Ed was thinking about what Olivia said about everyone has their own secrets and asked their escort, Major Miles what is his secret since they heard his. Miles revealed that he is part Ishval which is from his grandfather though both his parents are Artemis. He was actually angry over what the government did to his forefathers but then, everyone in the military somewhat pitied him for what happened. It was Olivia who took him in and even as he tried to argue that he might do something rash over what happened to the Ishvalites, Olivia countered that she doesn’t care for race, etc and if he still have anything to say against the military, she would duel with him. Miles then told him that the law in that place is survival of the fittest. Just then, an icicle almost fell on Ed’s head. Miles then pointed to them the icicle forming on the pipes that is their job. All dressed up, the others told them to remove the icicles on the pipes with the hoe-like thing they have. Al manages to do it while Ed doesn’t since he is short. Then, when it falls, they try to avoid it. The others then decided to get the lieutenant to each them and to the brother’s surprise, it is Furman. Furman explains that he got transferred there from north headquarters to help in removing the icicles. They congratulated him for his promotion even though to Furman’s dismay, he is made to do menial jobs.

At the train, Scar and Kimbeley were pausing for a while as Scar asked if he knew who he was. Kimbeley told him he knows for he found him interesting before then he says about Scar’s brother being wounded and in pain. That made Scar angry as he attacks. Loki wanted to escape as they fight but he doesn’t know where he would go. While fighting, Kimbeley realized that he is at a disadvantage for he isn’t in shape for being in jail for many years while Scar has been fighting during those years. Scar managed to get a broken piece of pipe and threw it at Kimbeley. The conductor of the train then noticed a vibration at the back and got the train to slow down. Scar was about to deliver the final blow as Kimbeley says it is a waste for him to let Scar get away twice. Kimbeley then breaks the coupler to distach the train and escape. Kimbeley shouts it is embarrassing for him to be defeated and they would meet the next time, hopefully, the third time would be the end of it. The conductor then saw there was an explosion as a few of the coaches got blown away and shouted for the train to stop. They saw Kimbeley wounded asking what happened. Kimbeley says to keep the train moving and then blabs about death chases those who chase death and putting one’s life on the line. The conductor and his assistant wondered what was saying as they looked at each other.

Back at the base, Furman has been giving Ed and Al the tour of the place as he showed them tanks and other things. Ed exclaims how large and warm it is underneath as Furman says that is why if there is a battle upstairs, it is hardly felt within. Then, a worker passes by and was pointed out by another worker about a noise they hear. The worker says it isn’t from the pipe but from underground. He then said that it sounds like someone is digging underneath then he was shock for it could be the enemy making a path from underneath. It turned out to be Sloth as the one who is digging while Ed noticed the growing crack on the floor.

Nothing much happened in this chapter. If they fight with Sloth there, Furman might be a victim but then, I highly doubt Sloth will fight since well, he is Sloth. ^^;; I highly doubt that Kimbeley would die that easily.

Monthly Anime Ramblings

Finished: Mai/My Hime is a pretty old anime and I just finished watching it a few weeks ago. It was pretty good as the pacing is good and some of the comedic scenes, mostly on forgot her name, Duran’s owner. The ending is a bit of a let down and I did recall reading about a happy ending and ya, somehow the impact of all the deaths that had somewhat has lessened. Also, some things aren’t explained like how is Nagi and other stuff. The yuri parts here aren't that bad though maybe except for the 'rape?' part. It seems that the messsage of this series is that you shouldn't think too much like Mai who suppress her feelings or do not let your emotions get the best of you like Kiyohime's owner, the president that before you know it, everything would be a mess which was what happened at the near end. Good for them that there is somewhat like a 'reset' for them to start all over and all the damage that was done simply go away. Anyway, I’m still downloading Mai Otome which I read is a bit better and the characters are the same. XXXholic was okay towards the end when it focused on Watanuki and there are no bullying by Yuuko since she is not there. Ya, I don’t like her which is a bad thing since she is the lead in this series. ^^;; All of the series, the ones I like is the monkey paw-inspired episode, ghost telling episode and the small arc on Watanuki at the end. The art is really bad at times, even worse than the movie. I did get to like the second ending song. Tsubasa Chronicle second season minus the fillers is okay but then, there is still something missing..I guess because the villain in the story is still not doing much and they are just going to different worlds, getting feathers and not much happenings. I didn’t watched all of the episodes and if it is a not good filler arc, I skipped. The chibi filler is funny though. I still don’t like any of the opening and ending songs.

Blood+ and Utawarerumono plot seemed to be a bit the same after watching them. A character ‘awakens’ and got involved into the current world and then, by the end, they went back to ‘sleep’. Blood+ is more on around the world trip as Saya and others try to defeat Diva. There are times when I want to give up on this but then, it becomes good that I stick on especially of an unexpected death of Riku. The main problem I have with this series is that the enemies are too weak or defeated easily and well, Saya is too weak. I think I can even safely say that Haji is stronger than her for at least he is able to finish off a chevalier on his own while Saya always have someone helping her do it. There are some good songs here though I don’t get to like the last ones. Utawarerumono was pretty good but then, it was around the last arc that it got a bit boring to me. I guess it is because of the ‘gods’ concept which are huge ugly monsters. The ending does seem rushed for it doesn’t quite explain Hakuro’s past that I have to look at forums to get information from what happened in the game.

Ouran High Host Club was fun all throughout except for the piano playing kid episode which I find a bit boring. The Haruhi in wonderland is okay but then, I would hope that they use a different story for that episode. The caption boxes were made to good use and I don’t mind how they changed some scenes of the story. I was glad that they put in Ritsu’s story though. ^_^ I don’t quite like the opening or closing songs though. Honey and Clover second season was good though the focus at the start is on the older love polygon but Ayu spends most of the time crying as Mayama is progressing with Rika. The part which I got really affected is on Kaoru regarding being untalented unlike Morita. Then, Hagu getting hurt part is also good. The ending is well, like the title, bittersweet as everyone parted ways.

Finally, finished Mushishi. I really came to like this series and since it is episodic, it is okay to watch anytime without refresher or getting into the series. The last episode is a bit on Gin’s past though indirectly since it is about two friends and one of the friends gets informations for Mushishis. Hopefully, there would be more of it when there are more chapters from the manga. School Rumble 2nd Term was fun when it focuses on Harima and his 'love story'. If it diverts from it, somehow I don’t quite enjoy it. The gun battle at the start was really good, too. It did somewhat hinted of a third season. Lastly, Innocent Venus which was good at the start and it ended blah. I had already guessed that the character I liked, Gin would be a villain but then, how he ended up all of a sudden to become a crazed lunatic, is a major turnoff. I don’t quite care for the others, maybe except for that pirate guy who is pretty good with his katana. The mecha here reminds me of a crab and the cg is really not that good. The villains ended up being just after world domination. ^^;

Still Watching: After watching those above, I finally get to catch Bleach. When Bount got into soul society, it was still a bit boring but then, the fights to kill them off one by one is really entertaining. As of what I watched, only three Bounts left so it would be a bit more time before they are all finished and perhaps, they would animate the manga part again since the opening already suggest some scenes of it. The new opening is quite catchy though haven’t gotten into it yet. I like the scenes in it though. The other one that I got updated on is Saiunkoku Monogatari up to where Shuurei cleared her name of cheating and she and company will be going to Sa Province where she will be co-governor. The interesting part in that is how powerful the Kou clan is. I was thinking that Ryuuki must be pretty lucky to have not offended Shuurei when she was his escourt or else, the Kou clan would have come after him and ruin the country. I am really hoping that somehow Shuurei would be like her uncles – don’t mess with me or else type. If I read right, this anime will be for 50 episodes and it is almost half way, I’m becoming doubtful that it will happen. I just realized that Shuurei and Li Kouyuu are cousins. ^^;; I still get a bit confused with the names. Also, looking at the characters list, I just realized that Kijin is also a Kou. I thought he was just Reishin’s friend. ^^;; Anyway, I find Seiran’s past interesting, maybe he will become like Shouko who is into undercover of some sort though as of now, he is just plain bodyguard. I came not to like the bgm in this series and still feel something is missing. I’m thinking it is how the story is told like it should be really good but I’m not feeling it or maybe it is predictable like the part where Shuurei hurriedly goes to the palace to clear her name. I was thinking of course, Seiran can easily defeat those guards. It became more clear or obvious when Seiran’s past was shown, he just defeated many assassin as a boy, so what more plain soliders when he is grown up. ^^; Also, I find Eigetsu’s split personality, really silly.

Watching D. Gray-man up to episode 5, it seems okay but then, I’m not quite getting into it. Maybe it is because it followed the manga, too much or well, I wasn’t into this manga in the first two volumes which was covered by the episodes I watched. It is just okay and that’s all though not that fun or ‘getting into’. I wished they kept Kanda’s hair black than blue. Oh ya, too bad they cut off the scene where Kanda’s ‘life reviving’ tattoo was shown and why he healed fast at the Ghost of Martel arc. Nhk ni Youkoso! is now dealing with multilevel marketing scams and getting too addicted to online gaming. The art is really bad at times but still, it is still a good watch to see where the lead goes and at least he has friends who care enough to help him out of those situations.

Just got into: There are good comments on Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion that I checked this out. It is indeed good and famous for the character designs are Clamp and the joke that Pizza Hut is supporting the rebellion. =P The story is about a fictional country Britania empire conquering Japan, calling it Area 11 and of course, there are rebels. The lead is Lelouch, a student who involved into a terrorist stealing of some weapon which turned out to green haired girl who gave him powers to control Britania people though it is a one time basis. His goals are for revenge for what the royalty did to his mother since he turned out to be also of royalty though thought to be dead and make a better future for his blind and cripple sister. Since this is somewhat like Gundam Seed, he has a friend from childhood who is a military of Britania empire though really the son of the last prime minister of Japan so those who want freedom somewhat look up to him as their hope. He has a mecha and from episode 5, there is a girl friend who has long pink hair and has status that she reminds me of Lacus of Gundam Seed. Lelouch is fun to watch though he tends to overact a bit with some poses ^^; I find his seiyuu familiar and learned that he is the one who did Watanuki of XXXholic. Since he has brains and likes to play chess, somewhat devious, as noted, he does seem to be like Light/Raito of Death Note. I can’t wait to watch newer episodes. Speaking of that, I had just watched Death Note and it is fun to watch. This is what I mean in compared to D. Gray-man, even if I already read the manga, I still enjoy it when it was retold. I find the ‘church-like’ songs really appropriate and when Light went a bit crazy writing all those names. His seiyuu also sounds familiar that I checked it out and it was Tamaki of Ouran’s. I think I only watched up to episode 2-3 when L was just introduced.

Asatte no Houkou is about two girls who switched each other’s ‘growth’- little girl became adult while adult became little girl because of the girl’s wish to become an adult. The two girls are related to each other because of the girl’s brother who took her in and the adult girl is his ex-girlfriend whom he left to take care of the girl who isn’t even related to him. I thought it would be a bit of comedy but it turned out to be pretty serious. So far, it is okay and this is basically how do they adjust to their predicament as they wonder if it is permanent or temporary. Kanon, on the other hand, is a harem type series. After the introduction of the girls and hints of this and that mysteries happening in that snowy town where the lead, Yuuichi has just moved back after seven years, it becomes fun especially on episode 5 when Yuiichi is such a teaser with Makoto. I feel that the girls are a bit trying to be cute but then, before long, I do find them cute, then, before long, I actually think saying ‘ugu’ is actually cute. ^^;; I guess it is more on learning what did happened in the past that Yuiichi has forgotten and what are the reasons for attachment of the girls to him. Lastly, Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto which is the time before Meiji, I think. There is this acting performing troupe who were out to kill off someone for revenge then got to meet, Akijuki, the lead who seemed to be after a dead head’s spirit. From what’s happening, it seemed that after killing off that guy, they have to kill the others which that assassin belongs to. The assassin group seem to want to kill off the lead girl for some reason. I don’t quite get what is going on aside from that and who’s who from the cast info dump. The fun part here is the action. The way they talk in the play needs getting used to. Also, one of the charcters reminds me of Takumi because of the hairstyle and the way he looks, he is the playwright and seems to know how to use a katana, too. Haha, I got into this for the shallow reason, the lead is good looking. ^^;

At the restaurant, what turned out to be a happy chat between the two, ended up into bickering about the design of the outfit. The two can’t believe that it ended up like this as Yukari was thinking it is like a sibling quarrel. Ageha then thought that something is missing since the two hands of the girl on the drawing is empty. She then told Yukari that girls has things that she needs to bring like mobile phone, make-up, wallet, small notebook, etc like she brought now. Then, Ageha drew a bag which is similar in design with the dress that Yukari drew. Yukari liked it that he would show it to the client for the client might actually like it. Ageha was really happy about it especially since she managed to impress Yukari. Yukari sighs as they eat for it seemed that Mitsuya’s curse about going out only because of work has came true but then, he cheered up when he saw Ageha is enjoying herself. Yukari then brought her home as Ageha thanked her for the dinner at the classy restaurant and that she enjoyed his company. As she cheerfully thanked him for driving her home, Yukari somewhat got captivated by her that he took hold of her hand and then bid her good night. This made Ageha blush that when she went in the house, she got weak on the knees and wondered what was that about.

Yukari came back to the store and Mitsuya noticed that he is acting strange so he asked if the restaurant wasn’t good or if he didn’t have a good conversation with Ageha. Yukari says everything is okay in those areas. Mitsuya then asks if it is because he wanted to kiss Ageha but got rebuffed so he is hurt. Yukari shouted that he isn’t the same as Mitsuya. Yukari doesn’t want to say it at first but since Mitsuya kept on insisting. Yukari finally says that he actually thought if Ageha would like him. Mitsuya was shocked for Yukari had progressed and shouted for Ririko to cook some red rice? in celebration. Yukari freaks out and shouted that is why he doesn’t want to tell Mitsuya. Mitsuya then shouted that it is ‘love’/’like’ as Yukari still somewhat deny it. Mitsuya then says that didn’t Yukari said before that love is troublesome. Yukari sighs that even if he said it before, but then, maybe his thinking is flawed which makes him feel pitiful. Mitsuya wonders why does Yukari isn’t confident in regards to things relating to him. Mitsuya thought that since this is another person’s business, he can’t quite meddle in too much. Mitsuya then says that Yukari doesn’t have luck with women because his mother left him and his girlfriend dumped him. Yukari got irritated that he left to take a bath. Mitsuya then thought that Ageha doesn’t seem to know that Yukari is falling for her but then, it would be best for Ageha to work hard at it [to make Yukari really fall for her] then he thought that it seemed that he told Ageha something.

At home, Ageha finished dressing up as she thought about making the bag and was happy that she can help. She then thought that it was really nice of Yukari to he offered to always bring her home. Then, her mobile phone rang. It was a text message from Yukari saying that he had arrived home already and he had fun that night. Ageha was super excited and happy about it for she thought that she was the only one who had fun. Ageha then told herself to calm down as to what it all mean especially when Yukari hold her hand earlier. She then thought that maybe she is thinking things too much for she likes him but Yukari...Then, Ageha sit up and thought that Yukari always talk to her about work and nothing else. Ageha then remembered something important, even if the atmosphere is good, everyday is happy, but if what Mitsuya said is true, about not falling for a co-worker. If it was obvious that she likes Yukari, then she might not be able to work at VBR anymore. Even if she thinks that the current situation is okay but then, can it continue later on, and what if Yukari already has someone he likes. Ageha thought that she is a selfish person for she still wanted to be with him but then what should she do for she can’t tell him that she likes him.

Ageha carrying her schoolbag thought that summer is over and her tests are over so there is a good reason for her to go back to work and not just see Yukari. She goes to the store as she told herself that this is also because she likes this work. Then, she saw a dark haired girl in a long dress looking in the gate. She wondered if it is a client so seems to be shy about going in. She called her and the girl freaked out, dropping all of her belongings. Ageha noticed that there are some beads as she helped pick the stuff up, apologizing to the girl. The girl says that it is her fault for being careless then she looked at Ageha in surprise. The girl then looks at her chest and shouted, large breast bishoujo [pretty girl] as Ageha thought that the girl has something to do with VBR.

And well, Yukari is still falling for Ageha while Ageha remembered what Mitsuya told her before so she would be more careful next time in showing her feelings. And a new character is introduced who seems to envy Ageha’s looks. Other than that, I don’t have much to say. ^^;

Ageha has gone shopping for an outfit with Mamoru and Ryuu for she will have a date with Yukari next week. Flashback: Ageha was really happy about the bracelet that Yukari even offered to be the one who put it on her. Yukari then asked if she is free next Monday night. Ageha said she is free when Yukari said that they should go out. Ageha was surprised that Yukari asked if she has forgetten about wanting to ask her out as Ageha quickly says that she haven’t. End of flashback. Ageha was still excited about it as she remembered being asked out. Ageha was a bit undecided as to what do wear for she wanted to wear a cute outfit but then it would appear as if she is the only one who is really eager to go out. Mamoru was thinking about what she wanted Ageha to wear while Ryuu is a bit conflicted over to make Ageha wear what suits her but he doesn’t want her to look nice for Yukari. Ageha then decided on an ordinary looking t-shirt that her friends were shocked that they showed her the cute looking outfits that they had picked. Mamoru asked that if they are going to buy an outfit to match the bracelet, why didn’t she bring it. Ageha says that it would be a waste [I think she means that she would only wear it on special occasions.] The two siblings smile as Ryuu started sending evil vibes to Yukari since he is jealous.

At VBR, Yukari is feeling the vibes then he remembered why for Ageha went shopping with Mamoru and Ryuu is with them. Mitsuya quickly write a talisman/charm and placed it on Yukari’s head to ward of the bad vibes. Yukari then thought about earlier he was asking Ageha why she has a tendency to report everything. Ageha says that isn’t it normal to tell others what had happened. He then asked if they are going shopping on her day off as Ageha says that they are just going to the bookstore and drink tea. She then quickly escapes as Yukari presently thought that Ageha can’t lie and that he felt a bit uneasy as he saw Ageha liking the braclet and that he felt more assured if she is with him. Then, he had a sudden thought, what if Ageha leaves, if she leaves – then some scenes of his mother talking to him and this black haired girl’s back. Mitsuya claps out loud to snap him out of it as he tells him that it is Yukari’s bad habit of spacing out. Mitsuya then tells him not to think too much for he is going on a date with Ageha. Yukari tries to say it isn’t a date but Mitsuya kept on teasing him about it – then wanting to date Yukari or even Natsuna. Yukari shouted that he shouldn’t dare date Natsuna or he would be killed. Mitsuya asks if he is worried about him but Yukari says that work would be delayed. Mitsuya then asks why did Ageha had a day off. Yukari says that it is because Ageha had already finished up her work. Mitsuya then thought of something and told Yukari how about increasing Ageha’s work load.

On the day of the date, Yukari is waiting for Ageha outside her house in his car while thinking about is it okay to ask her out and using work as an excuse. Then, he saw Ageha coming out and as usual, he is stunned. Ageha is wearing the outfit that Mamoru chose. Ageha greeted him and mentions that his car is really cute. After Yukari snapped out of it, he says that her outfit suits her. Ageha was happy about that as she points to her bracelet that it is because it is nice. After seating in the car, Yukari asks if she bought anything. Ageha then confessed that she looked for an outfit to match the bracelet. Hen freaks out for being like as Yukari said, likes to report things and if Yukari hates her for it. Yukari smiles and says that the bracelet is lucky. Then, Yukari brought her to a classy restaurant as Ageha was surprised as she asked isn’t it expensive there. Yukari then said that a friend wanted to marry in that place so they are going to design a dress which matches the place. Yukari brought paper and pen as he will start drawing and Ageha is really excited about it as she wanted to see what he will draw. Yukari then asked why Ageha is so happy about that it confused Ageha thinking if Yukari isn’t happy. Ageha then says that being with him makes her happy especially at the wedding exhibit so that is why she is happy. Yukari was surprised with her answer and thought, she can’t lie, likes to report things, and if it involves Ageha, he tends to soften up, I want to be with her..can you like me, too?

And that ends volume 4. ^_^ It seemed that Yukari and Mitsuya got really attached with Ageha that they actually missed her even if she is just missing for a day’s work. Mitsuya planned to give more jobs for her so that she can stay longer and well, I think it will help Ageha gain more experience. It is nice to have friends like Ageha’s, even though they thought selfishly at first, not wanting to share Ageha with others, in the end, they did what is best for Ageha, making her look good/cute on her date. It seems that Yukari is really falling for Ageha that he starts to fear what if she leaves. And so, that is the start of their first date.

Skip Beat! [Chapter 96]

Back at the studio, Shouko asks if Shou is really going to use that music for his song because no matter how they listen to it, it sounds like..then, to VG [Vie Ghoul] place, they realized that it is actually their debut song, Birth. The keyboardist is freaking out for it is the song he made and Shou had re-arranged it to make it actually sound cool. Even the bassist thought it sound cool as the guitarist shouted for him not to even think about it for Shou has corrupted their song. The bassist then noticed some handwritten music and wondered if it is the real song. The guitarist was happy about that for Shou is stupid enough to let it slip and they all decided to play it. Both Shou and VG’s camp sounded it and everyone is speechless. VG camp then thought that the music sounds familiar. Shou’s camp – Shou told Shouko that those stupid VG wouldn’t know it unless they played it that the sheets that they got are.. VG camp – long hair, Miroku started laughing as the others told him not to laugh for they are just made into fools caught playing it. Reino looks serious though. Miroku says that it is because Shou chose a interesting way to pick a fight and the sheets that they got are a fake. The song’s lyrics – do you see it fools, the pig’s behind [seems to be a childish song to taunt]. Then, a picture of Shou in top hat, laughing at them as the guitarist and keyboardist scream in anger for being made fools.

Shou’s musicians were also surprised about the song as if it sounds like laughing. Shouko then say that now she knew what Shou meant when he said it was okay for VG to get a copy of the sheets for they cannot copy it since they had already used that song as their debut and even made a mocking song at the back of the sheet. Shou says that he has no plans of releasing a song he just re-arranged. Shouko was surprised that Shou actually listened to their song. Shou denied it saying that he has no choice for he has heard it during his interviews and he already knew it just by listening to it a couple of times. He says that he can easily re-arrange it and it is easy as breathing. The staff overheard him and thought that could it be that Shou is actually a great musician. That is except one – the light colored hair bassist. Shou then says that thanks to the spy the fake music sheets are handed over to VG. The bassist somewhat got uneasy. Shou confidently says that they must be quivering in humiliation [ two victims confirmed] and now he is in a good mood to work again. He then asked everyone [musicians and recording staff] to leave all their mobile phones to his manager. Everyone was surprised by his request. Shou then says that he will now put an end to leaking of his music to outsiders. He will make some original music that everyone to follow by listening to it by ear then, the arrangement and composition will be done like that. He says that if they do rehearsals and meetings, the spy could easily leak out the music.

The guitarist then says that they don’t blame Shou for not trusting them but couldn’t he not resort to such a thing and wait for them to find the culprit for their reputation as a studio is at stake. Shou bluntly told him that he has already given them a day to do that and they still don’t have any suspects so to drag this one for some more days would be a complete waste of time. He then said that he can’t trust any of them for any one of them could be the spy. Shouko freaks out that Shou is being too blunt. Shou then continues that he may not trust them but he trusts their music skills and talent. He isn’t looking for loyalty or justice but he is looking for their music, style and editing abilities so if they can give him that, he would have no other complaints. He then asked if they could give him their best to create the best music. Everyone was surprised by what he said and happy to hear that he trusted their skills that they gladly handed over their mobile phones to him as they say, of course they will [give the best music] for that is their job. The bassist doesn’t look that happy about what happened.

Back at the bus, Ogata has been listening in the bus as he thought that he has seen something that he shouldn’t have seen when he went to get something. He heard that Ren is sleeping in so he tried not to make any noise when he saw THAT – what Ren and Kyouko were doing. [Lol, the author even censored it] Ogata then thought that before he wondered if Ren likes Kyouko but he haven’t thought that they were in that stage already. He wondered what could have happened for wasn’t Kyouko involved with Shou already. He wonders which one of the two could be Kyouko’s real choice. What Ogata saw was actually Ren lying his head on Kyouko’s lap. Kyouko asks if it is too high, her lap. Ren says that it is okay. Kyouko is getting really tense and embarrassed for it is the first time a guy actually used her lap as a pillow. Kyouko wanted to escape but then she stopped herself saying that this is the least she can do for she is the reason why Ren isn’t well [overeating] and she would have to endure it if it makes Ren feel better.

Flashback: Kyouko asks if there is anything that she can do for him. Ren says there is. Kyouko nervously asks what is it. Ren rises up as he was about to hold her face when Kyouko looked as if she froze and Ren stopped what he was about to do and say, your...[end of flashback] Kyouko says that he said that your lap, I need a pillow to be able to sleep. While Kyouko is concentrating on her task, Ren is still awake thinking, why the heck did he say such an unbelievable alibi for if he can’t sleep with a pillow, he would have brought a pillow wherever he goes. He thought he was uncool for doing so. Kyouko was thinking that she was stupid to have froze like that since she really thought that Ren went to his emperor of the night mode and she can’t handle him when he is like that for she thought that her heart will stop at any moment. While Ren was thinking upon seeing Kyouko’s face like that, he snapped out of it and that is the only thing he could say at that moment. Kyouko is still berating herself for acting like that to someone who is sick and that feverish people has a tendency to be seductive. Then, Kyouko thought of something.

Ren was thinking that it was a good thing that Kyouko made that face to make him stop for if he did what he wanted to do, Kyouko would the..he imagines her saying how could you do such a thing, I was wrong about you with a sticker saying she is a ‘innocent’ girl. Ren thought that would be really bad and it would be even cute for her to say ‘I hate you’ than rather than to be ‘nothing’ to her. Ren then remembered Shou’s smirk at him. Ren felt his heart is in pain when all of a sudden, to his surprise, Kyouko was feeling for his forehead. Kyouko then says, that it seems that he doesn’t have a fever and that’s good. Kyouko then kept on patting/playing with Ren’s hair as she thought that it feels nice [think patting a pet =P] and it is somewhat cute. She then thought how could she use the word cute on Ren for it isn’t a word used to describe him. Kyouko then thought that she better stop or else, Ren would wake up but then, she can’t stop as she tells herself, ten seconds more, twenty seconds more. Ren was thinking, why even if my existence to her isn’t the same level as Shou’s, the pain he feels deep in his heart is vanishing. He finally falls to sleep as the image of Shou smirking vanishes. The last scene was Ren sleeping while Kyouko still playing with Ren’s hair.

That was really a nice scene. I do wonder what would Ren really wanted to do. I guess going to fast won’t be too good for Kyouko. Ren must be somewhat satisfied that Kyouko cares for her in some way and well, I guess his random favor got him a good response from Kyouko. It is amusing Kyouko got too fond of ‘playing’ with Ren’s hair though it does seem to be like playing with one’s pet. ^^;; It is indeed surprising that it is the first time she did that. I guess Shou really took her for granted. It seems Kyouko can’t handle people who are romantically interested in her. I highly doubt that Ogata will gossip about this to everyone but then, he is really interested. This chapter also showed that Shou is really a good musician to even able to re-arrange a song from just hearing it a couple of times and even make it better. This is a good instance wherein how he can get back at people – VG who tried to steal his music. The author must be showing what a vicious world showbiz is aside from being it a glamorous job. I wonder what the bassist motive is though, is it just plain jealousy, being paid to do it or a personal grudge. I do wonder what Reino would do though..would he get back at Shou by trying on Kyouko again but then, that would be where the fun is when Ren meets Reino. Oh well, the author is quite unpredictable so it is hard to guess but that what’s makes the story fun for I wouldn’t have thought of how Shou get back to do his song without the leak and made fools of VG and even that Kyouko-Ren scene. ^_^

Parfait Tic [Chapter 133]

Fuuko is asking her teacher [guy with large white hair] if perseverance/work hard would not be enough to get her to specialized college as her ‘eh’ face from last chapter. Her teacher said if she work super hard on it then, it might not be a dream. Fuuko has hope until her teacher said that working hard to study. Fuuko was a bit disappointed but the teacher said that becoming a hairdstylist suits Fuuko for her hairstyle is really nice so if she still wants to go to college specializing on hairstyling, he would even write a recommendation for her. Fuuko was happy to hear. It turned out that Ichi overhead everything and asked if she plans to become a hairstylist. He then teased her about her hairstyle last summer. [She cut her bangs too short]. Fuuko freaks out and asked up to when will he remember that. Ichi then looks at her and says, I will remember forever. Fuuko blushed a bit and then thought, I will be affected [by his words]. She then shouted that from now on, she will work hard to be ‘herself’ so that she can become someone who can walk upright/be confident of herself. Ichi was surprised and asked, is that something she should announce. Fuuko embarrassed then quickly left saying that she doesn’t have the strength now to think of other things/him. As she enters the room, Daiya was sitting near the door. She was surprised as he looked at him that she quickly left. Ichi outside then says to Daiya, but...then, a narration, I will not get tired.

Fuuko then fixed a new hairstyle for herself as that day is field trip day and they are going mountain hiking. She looks at the mirror and thought that she looked good. Then, when she looked at the bento/lunch boxes that her mom made, there were three. Her mom said that since she made them [cousins] their lunch last field trip, she will continue it for she want to show ‘aunt’ love to the two boys. Fuuko then remembers that she forgot to tell her mother that they broke up and it doesn’t seem good to bring it out so early in the morning. She tries to tell her mom to be the one who bring it up but just then, someone called on the phone and her mom was chatting. Fuuko thought that it might take long so she has no choice. When Daiya opened the door, he found the bag of two lunch boxes. He saw a note saying, this is from my mom – Fuuko. While climbing up the mountain with the others, Fuuko thought that she has a long way to go since she still can’t quite look at Daiya in the face. While climbing up, Fuuko somewhat cheered up and started to sing when to her shock, someone was suppressing a laugh. She looked back to see it was Ichi and Daiya is behind him. Fuuko then quickly tries to escape by running ahead as Mako tried to tell her to slow down and wait for her. The two boys then just looked at the fleeing Fuuko.

Then, Fuuko suddenly felt nauseaous and dizzy that Mako reprimanded her for running. They saw a small shed and Mako told Fuuko that she should rest a bit. The other students passes by and asked what’s up. Fuuko said that she is okay but then, really she isn’t. Mako told her that it was because she escaped. Fuuko bends down her head on the bench and said that she is right. Then, the two cousins came by. Ichi asked if she is giving up as Fuuko insists that she is just resting. Ichi then says, she sure is taking her time when all of a sudden, Daiya [note, he is topless since it is hot] rushes to Fuuko’s side. He was about to touch her head when Fuuko tries to stop him so Daiya used his forehead to feel for Fuuko’s head. Ichi and Mako was speechless. To Ichi’s surprise, Daiya orders him to go get the teacher but then, he obeys. Daiya then removes his knapsack as he tells Fuuko that he would use a wet towel to cool her down. He left as Fuuko was thinking, deceitful, deceitful. [Okay, that is the literal translation for I can’t think of a proper one. ^^; I think she meant that he was being kind when they broke up and when she decided to be on her own.]

Daiya then runs about and finds a stream to wet the towel. He came back as Fuuko saw him. Mako takes the cue to leave saying that she will also go find the teacher, leaving Fuuko in tears, asking her not to leave her. Daiya then sits down and says, ‘pillow’/lap pillow. Fuuko blushed/redden from the fever as she kept on asking herself, why. Well, she did use Daiya’s lap as a pillow.

Okay, so it seems that Daiya isn’t out of the love triangle yet. Even if they aren’t together anymore, Daiya still cares for her. I wonder if it was because of his conversation with Ichi made him caring again instead of just snubbing Fuuko. Just when Fuuko decided to forget about love, here is Daiya showing he still cares for him. Romantically or not, it will confuse Fuuko. It does seem that she is slightly traumatized by love. As for her ‘sickness’, I think it is mild heat stroke/exhaustion. It isn’t surprising for Daiya to know since he is in the tennis club. Lastly, for some reason, some chibi pics of Fuuko here reminds me of Edward from Fullmetal Alchemist. ^^; And I just realized something that I actually missed seeing Daiya smile and being happy...he’s really serious in these last few chapters.

Weekly Jump Update: D. Gray-man, Naruto, Bleach and One Piece

In D. Gray-man [c. 97], Kanda quickly tries to block using mugen, his katana. I think he used his tattoo life-revival again. While holding his two katana, it shaped like wings, which is nice. ^_^ Kanda blocking was thinking that Skin has become more powerful and wonders where is he getting that strength. Then, Kanda saw a being [probably the Noah that possessed Skin] on top of Skin, saying cannot forgive. Kanda was surprised by it then, mugen breaks into pieces and there was a huge explosion. A huge part of Skin’s body has melted away and his armor has deteriorated. He looked at Kanda lying down on what seems to be coral-like structure. Skin smiles that he is successful for it is defeated. He laughs like a maniac and stopped when he noticed a line of light underneath his foot. Kanda is still alive as he connects all the broken pieces of mugen as he tells Skin that his katana is still alive. Then, he slices Skin into half. Kanda says that it is the end. Skin is in denial as he says that it cannot be for Noahs cannot die. Then, he turned into dust as Kanda says, it is the end. Kanda holding his mugen which is already in pieces. Kanda says that he would have to go to Komui again [since Komui fixes innocence]. Just then, the building for the exit collapses. Kanda smiles then everything collapses as Miranda realizes that someone’s time has stopped/dead, wondering who it is. Yeah, Kanda wins but then, he might be rip. I’m a bit in denial that he is dead so I’m still optimistic he’ll live since the author has a tendency to do that to characters – thought to be dead but still alive like Allen and Rinali. Also, Kanda is on the volume cover so I’m thinking that he won’t be dead for he might have an important role later on. It does show that Noahs are really hard to kill that Kanda has to use lots of lives to finally defeat him. I wonder if Allen and company would be facing a Noah, too.

Naruto [c. 330] is pretty much about Asuma’s funeral. Shikamaru didn’t attend and went thinking about things until the last chapter is of his group is preparing to head of somewhere. I can’t really say whether they would go out to find Akatsuki to avenge their sensei’s death or they have a different mission in mind which has something to do with Asuma’s last words. If they go fight Akatsuki, it would does seem to be suicide since Shikamaru’s group earlier with three adults were pretty much defeated what more by only the three of them unless Shikamaru had a strategy. While in Bleach [c. 251], Ichigo is getting beaten by Dordoni [arrancar 103] as Ichigo doesn’t want to go to bankai mode for if he can’t defeat an ex-espada without using bankai mode, what more of a current espada. Dordoni got irritated that Ichigo is underestimating him that he went to release form and it seemed his power is wind/tornado. After another beating, Nell/Neru is crying that Ichigo might die..on his mask, a smoke is coming out. Elsewhere, Ishida and Sado had already met other three-digit arrancar. I’m guessing that Neru would be helping Ichigo out and since a couple of his friends are looking for Neru, they might also went to help Ishida and Sado. The thing is if they are helped by the arrancars, that would mean that they are way weak to even defeat Aizen. Mm..I wonder if they would power up later on much as what happened in save Rukia arc. It is indeed frustrating if after all his training, it is still not enough to defeat an espada. Well, there is always Ichigo’s hollow to bail him out.

New revelations in One Piece [c. 424]. Shanks went to Whitebeard and gave him a huge jug of wine. Shanks used his ‘stance’ that made small fry pirates collapse. He apologized for using it since he is on enemy ship and that he just wanted to talk to Whitebeard. Whitebeard mentioned three names who knew the seas – Roger, Garp and Sengoku [fleet admiral of the marines]. It was revealed that Shanks and Buggy used to be on Roger’s ship. Whitebeard knew him because he fought with Roger many times before. Shanks said that he wanted to get Buggy with him but Buggy refused. Whitebeard reminisce that there were lots of duels of Shanks and Hawkeye that they were surprised when he went back, missing an arm. Shanks said that he left it for the new era –Luffy. Whitebeard said it was okay if he didn’t regret it. Shanks said that he also had a lot of wounds but the one that bothers him is the one caused by Blackbeard whom he fought and is planning to take Whitebeard’s position. He then asks Whitebeard to call back Ace for Ace is not yet at par with Blackbeard. Whitebeard laughed at him for he said that he has to teach Blackbeard a lesson for killing a nakama/crew-mate. Then, they both drew their weapons and clashed as their crew wondered if it is the start of war. Meanwhile, in some island, Blackbeard and his crew learned of Luffy’s new conquest – Eneas Lobby and plans to find Luffy as they are near Water 7. Just then, Ace told them to wait for he was looking for them. Things are really happening in One Piece. It seemed that Blackbeard is powerful to fight on Shanks even though he doesn’t necessarily looked strong. I wonder if Ace would be able to fight him or he would be defeated as Shanks feared. I think Blackbeard plans on defeating pirates who have potential while waiting his time to become stronger to defeat the higher ups.

V. B. Rose [Chapter 22]

It is VBR and Rosa Marriage company outing at a hot spring/spa resort for two days and one night. While Yukari is texting on his mobile phone, Mitsuya whines that it is a waste that Ageha isn’t there because her school starts again on that day and it is lonely without her. Yukari said it isn’t for they are going back tomorrow. Mitsuya says that he is quite cold for aside from work, they don’t have a chance to see Ageha. He then says that what Yukari says is just like what Maki said for he heard from Maki that after the exhibit, the two of them [Yukari and Ageha] seemed to be different. Mitsuya says that when Ageha came back, she is so happy. Yukari denies that he has anything to do with it but Mitsuya says that it is for it was obvious when they met from the start. The interrogation got cut off when Sakura, Yukari’s little brother came in, and while hugging Yukari, says that he wished Ageha was there so that they can have a bath together. Yukari’s mood became dark as he got worried if his brother would become a playboy later on that he wants to take a bath with a girl. Yukari noticed a paper that Sakura is holding. Sakura said that it is the place where they will go tomorrow and if he wants to come. Mitsuya says that it is an interesting place for the women employees wanted to go there. Yukari looks interested in it. He then showed a sms/text message on his mobile phone to Mitsuya – it was Ageha’s saying tomorrow, I’m going to defeat Shizuya. Mitsuya wonders what did his brother did to make Ageha angry. Yukari isn’t happy for he won’t be able to meet Ageha as she made arrangements the next day.

The next day, it is Ageha + Mamoru vs Shizuya + Zero in the bowling alley – it is a contest. Flashback: The other day, while eating out, Ageha told everyont that she never bowled before since doesn’t have a chance to. Mamoru said that it seemed she haven’t accompanied Ageha to bowling. Shizuya then taunts Ageha about it and that she will probably make lots of gutter balls. Irritated, Ageha asked what is his high score. Shizuya says that he has 140 points. Ageha was surprised then asked Mamoru if that is a high score, Mamoru said it is. Shizuya shouts that is why he is irritated with unexperienced players. Zero then pointed out that if he is lucky, he can score 170 points. Shizuya got even more surprised when Mamoru says that her highest is 192. Shizuya shouts that he doesn’t believe them as everyone said it is all up to him if he wants to believe or not. Ageha then touches his shoulder and said, so it seems you are the loser among the highest scores. Shizuya angry said not to say that, gutter queen. Ageha said if she haven’t tried, how would he know. The two then argue as both Mamoru and Zero thought about what to do and decided that they put it to a test by bowling the next day. End of flashback.

Ageha is all fired up as she challenged Shizuya that they would start. Then, Ageha asked Mamoru for tips. Shizuya tells her that she should not get the balls into the gutter. Ageha angrily told him that she already knows that. So, Mamoru gave Ageha some tips. The game starts as they played jakenpon as to who would be the first team. I didn’t quite get why Shizuya was laughing at Ageha for the jakenpon but then, Mamoru told her not to worry for she is in her team and she never lost a game. This make Shizuya scared by her comment as Ageha was happy that Mamoru is her teammate. Ageha then concentrates and tossed the ball. The ball curves around but then, it was a strike, surprising everyone. Ageha was so happy as Shizuya told Zero not to lose. Zero thought that he doesn’t want to win against Mamoru but still says good luck though he meant it for Shizuya only. Shizuya’s turn and he managed to make a strike too. Later on, Ageha leaves a few pins up and Mamoru is the one who cleans up her spares as she says that when she saw her prey, she will not let it escape. Shizuya was determined to make lots of strikes, Ageha depends on Mamoru to clean up the spares/extra pins, Zero is not giving it all for he hold his life dear [fear of Mamoru] and Mamoru delivers. Finally, the girls won. Shizuya was on the floor moping when Mamoru told him that he played well that she has to put all her effort on it. Ageha and Mamoru then goes to buy some drinks for everyone. Shizuya blushes and told Zero that it seems that he still likes Mamoru. Zero says that he respects/admires him for liking Mamoru. While buying drinks, Ageha thought that Mamoru actually ‘noticed’ Shizuya as Mamoru was saying, what else can she play with Shizuya for she is the type who likes to play with her prey.

At home, Ageha just took a bath and was thinking if Yukari and others had arrived back already. She thought that it was too bad that she wasn’t able to go and greet them back but then, she had a great time that day and she would tell them all about it the next time. She then thought that it is a bit lonely when she doesn’t have to work. Ageha then remembers Yukari’s invite for a dinner as she get hyped about it when her mom said that someone is on the phone for her. To Ageha’s surprise, it was Yukari. Yukari comments that Ageha and her mom’s voice sounds the same. Ageha said that many people say that and she welcomed him back, asking why he called on the landline. Yukari said that it was because she isn’t answering her mobile phone. Ageha then says that she was taking a bath. Yukari then congratulated her on winning her first bowling game. Ageha says that it is because she wished Yukari’s luck would help her and that she has a lot of things to tell him so she will on the next time she goes there for work. Ageha was puzzled by the silence then realized what she just said for it seems she is hinting she wanted to see him. Yukari said okay, I will go there, wait for a moment. Ageha was shocked.

Then, Yukari is now downstairs of her house as Ageha falls on her knees, couldn’t believe that Yukari actually came. Yukari said that there is a reason why he came and he doesn’t want to say it on the phone. Yukari then gave her a small package, saying that it is a small souvenir for her. Ageha blushed and asked if she can open it. It is a small bracelet as Ageha screams in glee that it is cute. Yukari then says that he made it which surprises Ageha. Yukari explained that day they went to a beads shop and he asked the saleslady to teach him how to make a bracelet. Yukari then says that it isn’t an expensive gift, but he thought that it is pretty from the flyer [Sakura is holding] that he decided that he would give one to her. Ageha blushes as she says that it is usually her who makes things and gives it to people so this gift of his, she is very happy and she will treasure it. Narration: My first bowling game is fun, the sparkling bracelet also make her happy but ‘I would definitely do this to give it to you’ that he said, was the one that touched me that most.

Hehehe, Shizuya got what’s coming to him. He must have underestimated Mamoru and well, it does seem he is a bit clueless for Zero obviously fear Mamoru. Yukari has become proactive and even made a bracelet for Ageha. That’s sweet but then, depending on the type of guys you like for it do come out as ‘girly’ but then, it is sweet. I think it will be a staple for Mitsuya to be the ‘teaser’ in this series much as Yashiro in Skip beat! now that he knows and it is obviously that Yukari likes Ageha.

Papillon - Hana to Chou - [Chapter 1]

[This is a new series from Miwa Ueda of Peach Girl fame. The story is pretty much like Peach Girl basing on the cast – two guys and two girls. Like Peach girl, there is the poor Cinderella type girl and the other girl whom makes her life miserable. Then, the guy she likes but then, the other girl wants him and that other guy. Instead of two friends, it is now twins who are pretty much the exact opposite of each other. This is serialized in Bessatsu Friend, a monthly magazine. So far, only three chapters are out and since I just found chapter one, I would do this series while it is just starting and well, it seems good. Enjoy!]

The cover pic is of a girl with wings then the next page is a cocoon being tightly wrapped by wire with a narration, this kind of life is very tiring, who will save me. If it is like this, then I want to have wings so I can fly away. It starts with a school festival. A beautiful girl in nurse outfit was calling out to people that it will be her turn to sing. The narration says, that is Kana [I would have called her Hana na but then, someone in BW called her Kana so I’m going with that. Her name means Flower then, the kanji of Hachi of Nana’s name meaning how] who always get many people around her/sociable, very cute, not easily embarrassed, and gets along with people and she is my exact opposite. Another girl looks like Hana looking sad, she has glasses and pimples/freckles on her face. Kanda, her chubby with freckles/pimples with glasses friend, angrily says that their customers were already already taken by section 2 lured away by Kana, those stupid boys are easily entranced by her. She then told her not to worry for she will stand by her side. The other girl nervously laughed and say that she will go out and get some water.

Outside, some boys are asking if Kana really has a twin. Is she cute like her, can you introduce her to us, they asked. Kana said yes as she saw her twin walking by carrying a pail of water. Kana grabbed her and introduced to them, her older twin sister, Chou [Okay, there is first character in her name that from kanji-romanji said Ah. It sounds silly for her to be called Ah Chou which is like a Chinese name. It means Asia Butterfly. I’ll stick with Chou for now.] The boys were shocked as to why doesn’t Chou looked anything like Kana. Kana shouted at them for saying that as Chou simply smiles and makes a joke about being opposite. As everyone laughs, she quickly says that she has something to do and left them. Chou then thought that they were twins but then, they are different. When they were just born, she lived with her grandmother in the rural town while Kana lived with their parents in the city. Since they lived in a different place, they became different. Chou is more of a tomboy, catching insects while Kana is dainty, looking pretty girl. They met again when they were in grade two elementary. Grandma’s health has deteriorated, there is no choice but to live with her parents in the city. She sometimes wonder if it was Kana who lived in the rural area, she could be the one standing in front of everyone cheerfully singing as Kana is now. Chou sadly walks back to her class which is doing a small café.

Then, there is some commotion and they learned that there is a concert. The other girls in class decides to leave the café to Chou and Kanda as they went to see the concert. Kanda got angry at being ditched by the others that she wanted to go too as Chou said that she isn’t really interested in concerts and told Kanda to go ahead. Then, a light colored haired guy went in. Chou blushes. The guy was surprised that everyone already left for the concert. Kanda angrily said it isn’t fair as the guy says that then, they should just put up a sign that they are close. The guy said that he also wanted to go see the concert. Kanda said that she wanted to go to. The guy said okay and asked what about Chou. Kanda must have a crush on the guy as she said don’t bother to ask Chou for she said she doesn’t like concerts. As they left, Chou was a bit depressed for what she said had came back to her. All alone at the classroom café, she was flipping through her organizer of a picture of her and a boy when she was young. She then thought that the guy earlier is actually her childhood friend from the province, Ryuusei [Shooting Star]. They used to play a lot, catching insects and it was a lot of fun but then, when she have to live with her parents, she don’t see him anymore. She is surprised though when she went to high school for she easily recognized him. He already became handsome and it seems that he isn’t in the same world as she is so she can’t quite get herself to talk to him that much or tell him who she was.

Chou, holding a broom, looks out the concert and thought that it must be fun and why in the world is she there. All alone in this room, holding a room, she feels as if she is Cinderella who didn’t get to go to the ball. She started to laugh at herself as she shouts that she hopes to have a fairy godmother who would help her get to the concert. Then, came a guy with a horse head mask. She freaked out as the guy then goes underneath the table to hide. Some girls then came by, shouting Kyuu-chan [Nine-chan]. They wondered where he is and asked Chou who thought that they must mean the horsehead guy. She said she haven’t seen him and they are already closed. After the girls left, she was surprised to find that Kyuu, still wearing the horsehead mask, is already sitting on the chair. He then asked for a cup of coffee. Chou apologizes and said that they are already close. Kyuu insists on a cup of coffee as Chou thought that this guy is quite stubborn and that she is actually afraid as to who he was. Kyuu then removed his mask and to Chou’s surprise, it was a good looking dark haired guy. Then, Kyuu told her to hurry it up. Chou then gave him his cup of coffee and he is reading through a book.

Chou then wonders why the girls are after him and if he is a high school student or a visitor since he is wearing civilian clothes. Kyuu holding her childhood picture, asks if this is her for the current her and the past her doesn’t look the same. Chou was shock for it turned out that the book he was reading through was her organizer she left on the table. She asked for the picture back when Kyuu asked if this is your boyfriend, am I right? Chou was embarrassed as she said that he isn’t for she haven’t even talked to him that much. Kyuu then saw her name on the organizer and asked if Chou-chan likes that person, does she want to be his girlfriend. Chou blushes but looked serious as she said that it can’t be. Kyuu said that it is so easy. He then got a marker pen wrote something on the picture – a stolen pic of her and Ryuusei, which she had a hard time getting. Kyuu wrote, we are a couple, happy together. Chou grabbed the picture as she screams what the heck is he doing. Kyuu smiles at her and said that happening is a possibility for isn’t this what she really wished for. Kyuu continues that if she kept on thinking that it cannot be, then doesn’t that mean she is giving up so if there is something she wishes, she should say it clearly or else, it won’t happen. Chou was surprised by what Kyuu was saying as Kyuu kept on saying that she should everyday say, we are already together, everyday we are in love with each other, my life is very good. Kyuu looks at her and that is how she should be doing it – for if her heart is into it, it can happen, if that is what her heart really wishes for.

Chou wonders what is with this guy [Kyuu], wanting her to say such things out loud. While drinking the coffee, Kyuu says that if she want or doesn’t want to do it, it is her choice. Kyuu asked again, what about it, does she want to be that guy’s girlfriend so why don’t she stand there and say it. Chou tries to say that she wants to be Ryuusei’s girlfriend but Kyuu said to say it again more honestly. Chou asked now?..here? Kyuu smiles and said that he isn’t forcing her and then he looked at him. Chou became nervous and blushed a bit. She wondered if Kyuu is pulling her leg, just making fun of her but then, if this is her wish, she can say this, if this is just like magic. Chou then clears her throat and shouted, I and Ryuusei are already on a relationship, everyday we are in love with each other, and my life is very good. To her surprise, Ryuusei enters and asked if there is a customer. Chou was shocked to see him. Kyuu then thanked Chou for her coffee and it tasted great. On his way out, he asked Ryuusei if he is Chou’s childhood friend. Ryuusei is puzzled as Kyuu showed him a picture of little Chou and Ryuusei, saying it is a good picture. Ryuusei was surprised as Chou was surprised at what Kyuu did. Ryuusei then asked if she is Chou-chan. Chou blushes as she covers her mouth in surprise. Kyuu left, smiling at them/her.

Later on, Ryuusei was laughing that he didn’t recognize Chou as the girl he used to play with. Chou said that it is because he forgot her complete name and it is even a rare kind of name. Ryuusei said that she is right, it is a rarely used name and he didn’t recognize her because she doesn’t look the same as before. Chou got nervous and wondered if he meant that she isn’t like the girl he used to know. It turned out that Ryuusei meant that her skin color is now white when before, it was a bit darker but then, he is happy to have met her again there. Chou was happy about that and asked about the concert. Ryuusei said it is no big deal for Kanda was dancing beside him that it made him embarrassed. Ryuusei said that he is worried about her being alone in the classroom so he came back for her. Chou blushes as she thought what that person [Kyuu] said is true, this is her wish it came true and she thanked horse guy in her thoughts as she was still talking with Ryuusei.

While Chou is washing her face cheerfully, Kana asked why she is do happy and if there is something good happened in school. Chou said it was nothing but Kana is already curious. In class, Ryuusei tossed a note to Chou to meet later on. Somewhere, Ryuusei asked Chou to let him visit her sick grandma at the hospital since her grandma used to be so kind to him and she [grandma] would be happy. They made arrangements to meet at 11am the next day. Kana then came and asked what are they talking about and she wanted to know, too. Just as Kana comes near, Ryuusei quickly says that he has to go and they’ll meet again. Somewhere else, they met again as Chou asked what is it. Ryuusei says that he doesn’t like a girl like Kana since she is always going around with different guys then he apologized for Kana is Chou’s sister. Ryuusei says that even if they are twins, he would rather be with Chou. This made Chou blush and asked, is the present me, okay. Kana was actually eavesdropping in their conversation.

That night, Chou was thinking that it is really effective as the picture that Kyuu wrote on was on the floor and all her clothes were laid out as she is trying to pick an outfit to wear. She was really happy that they would go to the hospital together and it is like a dream. Kana then went in and asked if she is going on a date for all her clothes are on the floor. Chou tried to deny when Kana said that she is going on a date with Ryuusei. Kana then said that all her clothes are all fashioned so she will let Chou borrow some of hers. Chou was a bit embarrassed with the outfit Kana picked but Kana said it suits her for she looks cute and Ryuusei would definitely like it. At 11am the next day at the meeting place, Chou is already there as she can’t still believe that she is going out with Ryuusei when that thing [writing on the picture about being a couple] had happened just three days ago. Ryuusei then came and said that she seemed a bit different. Chou got self-conscious but then, Ryuusei that she looks fine. Chou was happy about it as Kyuu’s words about believing can make her wish come true. Then, came Kana, exclaiming what a coincidence. They were surprised to see her and then, Chou realized that Kana is wearing the same type of outfit but then, more fashionable and cuter [the skirt is even shorter]. Chou was shock and thought, what coincidence?!. [Obviously, Kana plotted everything.]

As I wrote above, this is from the author of Peach Girl so everything is pretty much the same except the two lead’s relationship. Chou is like Momo while Kana is like Sae. Ryuusei would be Touji. I like the part wherein Kyuu is like her fairy godmother and I’m guessing he might become prince-fairy godmother combo since he acts just like Kairi from Peach girl. I do hope that how the author develops this plot would be a bit different from Peach Girl. Here, it is much harder for Chou to get away from her scheming sister since she is her sister when in Peach girl, Sae is just a friend and at least, she doesn’t have to see her after school. I do wonder why did her parents separated the two. Maybe the grandma is lonely at the province so they decided to let her have one of the twins for they would have a hard time with both. I do remember a tv show before saying that it is better for twins to be separated early on for them to develop distinct personalities from each other and not like copy each other. I think Kana was spoiled rotten by the parents that she seems to be the type who craves attention. I also wonder how could Chou from a tomboy outgoing has become a shy insecure girl. I guess Kana’s personality proved to be overwhelming that Chou’s personality got suppressed as hinted in chapter two.

Parfait Tic [Chapter 132]

Fuuko has decided to change her what she does the next day after leaving the two guys. She went to Akiou’s place. Akiou was surprised over Fuuko’s decision to become a hairdresser. [This is from the last chapter seeing a hairdresser for kids, she wanted to be one, too. I have edited that entry as I found the missing pages.] Fuuko, with a notebook, told Akiou that since she is already in third year, she might know what are the things she should learn for it. Akiou said that she know of a friend of is a hair dresser. Akiou then mentions that schools that her friend has studied in that it made Fuuko a bit depressed for it is all studying. Fuuko nervously asked that one should study hard in high school. Akiou told her of course if she wanted to go to a college and does she think a college would accept her if she is stupid. Fuuko then shouted that starting tomorrow, she will start studying hard. Fuuko then asked about Akiou as to what she plan to study and what school. Akiou looked a bit sad that Fuuko noticed something is wrong when she didn’t answer. Akiou then coolly told her that she has no plans to tell her about it.

Akiou then asked when did Fuuko started thinking about this [being a hairdresser] and is she serious about it. Fuuko then confessed that she and Daiya have broken up. This surprised Akiou who asked when did it happen. Fuuko said that it was during spring break. Akiou asked why she is saying this so late already and what is the reason for the break up. Fuuko was going to say the reason when she was suddenly on the verge of tears. She shouted oh no then started reciting the multiplication table of four. It is to calm her down and she was wrong on 4x3 or is that a typo. ^^; Akiou then asked if she is serious on studying. Fuuko kept on reciting as Akiou looked a bit sad and said don’t...feel so miserable/sorrowful. Fuuko pauses then starts reciting multiplication table of seven but then, wrong again. ^^; Then a narration, don’t smile at me, don’t cry at me, don’t come to me.

At school in their classroom, some gossipy girls asked Daiya if it is true that he broke up with Fuuko because of they heard what happened in the group date. Just then, Fuuko was approaching the classroom wonders about the commotion in her class. As she arrived on the door, she heard Daiya confess that they did broke up. Everyone was surprised as Fuuko realized that it is about them. Daiya then noticed her as Fuuko cheerful greets them good morning. Gossipy girl then tries to ask why as her friend tried to stop her from being nosy. Daiya is looking at Fuuko as she went to her seat. Daiya then announced that the reason about the break up, only the two of them would understand/know. Fuuko then thought that if Daiya is saying it like that to everyone then everything is already in the past. Ichi was listening outside the classroom.

During class, Fuuko’s eraser fell down. As she tried to get it, she lost her balance and made the eraser go near Daiya’s table. Fuuko shouted that she will get it by herself. She is worrying that if Daiya got it for her, they might hold/touch hands. Daiya did pick it up by then hold it for her so that he would just drop the eraser on her hand and not touch each other. Fuuko then realized everything is indeed in the past as Ichi was looking at them. Later that night, Akiou and Isocchi shared a kiss at a park bench. Akiou then asked what if they won’t be like that anymore – be together, what will happen. Isocchi was surprised and was on the verge of tears if she was implying that they break up. Akiou then gets embarrassed as she said, really, why are you crying. She then embrassed him tight.

Another narration on, now that I’m alone, I..I will..Fuuko then told her sister about her plans to become a hairdresser. Her sister exclaimed in surprise as Fuuko told her to keep it low since she haven’t told their parents yet. Her sister told her not to worry for their parents won’t object. Fuuko said that she should then start building her foundation/background on hairstyling. Above their house, the cousins are talking. Ichi is standing near Daiya’s room door as Daiya is sitting on the bed. Ichi asked is that the reason for their break up – he will gradually hate himself. Daiya replied so what if it was. Ichi asked if himself [Daiya] is the most important. Daiya says that Fuuko is the most important so he doesn’t want her to be with a person like him. Ichi was silent then sarcastically say, how nice of you which irked Daiya. Ichi then said that he can’t apologize and he won’t apologize. This surprised Daiya. Ichi continues, if the reason is me, I would have apologized, for your convenience, but I will not make any changes/not change. [I don’t quite understand it ^^; ] Ichi then told Daiya that he likes Fuuko. Ichi asked what about him, will he forget. Daiya with a serious face asked back, would he be able to forget. Continuation of the narration..I will make the ‘past’ into what I can call the ‘past’s past. Fuuko is happily looking at magazines. [I’m assuming about hairstyling]. Then, the next day, Fuuko has this ‘eh?’ expression as she says, how can this be. There is a narration at the side: I will change myself – not let myself if controlled by love. Then, scenes of Ichi saying I like her and Daiya asking if he can forget. [If you are confused about that last part, I’m also confused as I wonder if there is a continuation to this or this is really the last page.]

Anyway, Fuuko’s career choice actually fits her. She likes kids and she likes making different hairstyle. She is indeed trying to move on by focusing on other things. It does seem that there is also a problem with Akiou-Isocchi but then, in this case, it is the guy who fears breaking up and I don’t think Akiou has the heart to. I’m thinking it is something about college. And well, Ichi confronted Daiya about it though I don’t get what he was saying but it is down to liking Fuuko. Is he asking for permission from Daiya that he will now court Fuuko? He seemed to be implying that he can do better. Whereas for Daiya, it seems that it is a personality problem that made him break off with Fuuko but then, he did mention that he might not be able to forget her. Will he be jealous when Ichi-Fuuko becomes an item? Obviously, Kagechika is now out of the picture and it is back to a love triangle but then, Daiya backed out. Will Fuuko give Ichi another chance since right now she has decided to move on and not be too focused on love? Anyway, until the next chapter.

Ouran High Host Club [Chapter 45]

The rest of summer has been pretty busy as in exchange for knowing Misuzu’s recipes for Meiko, Haruhi and Tamaki has been helping at the pension while the other members of the club tends to always drop by. Then, the twins went on a vacation at Okinawa as Meiko is busy making clothes and Haruhi being there trying to get into her side, I think since her father was saying good luck when Haruhi is going to offer onigiri [rice triangles] and she is fanning Meiko when it is hot. Well, before they know it, it is already three days before summer is over. To Meiko’s dismay, she haven’t done her summer homework and is now cramming. While offering some drink, Haruhi told her before that she should do it bit by bit earlier. Haruhi looks at her notes and said that she can finish it in three days. Meiko asked if she is a comedian that Haruhi should helped her instead of going steathly with Tamaki doing something. Haruhi answers didn’t Meiko told her to perfect the omrice [omelette rice]. Meiko said something and that it is not important now but to help her in her homework. Haruhi then answers back in anger as Meiko just called her stupid, that both things aren’t really related and why should she always do what Meiko wants.

Ranka then hit both girls’ head and tossed them outside the house as he shouted that he doesn’t need girls who disturb a tired father’s sleep and if they want to study, they should go to the library. The two girls looked at each other and started to blame each other for being tossed out. Meiko’s mobile phone rings as she answered and it was Hikaru. It seems that Hikaru is asking them to come to Okinawa and to bring Haruhi with her. Meiko asks why do they have to go and who cares if their parents are home or not. Hikaru said something that changed Meiko’s mind as Haruhi is picking up the things [bag and notebooks] that her father tossed out. Meiko quickly grabbed Haruhi’s hand, telling her that they are going to the twin’s house. Haruhi asked about going to the library to finish the homework. Meiko said that it isn’t important now for didn’t she know, that the twins’ mother is Yuzuha Hitachiin, a famous designer. Meiko then tries to hurry as she have to put make-up and buy some paper. Ranka listening from inside thought that the girls are leaving so he can now sleep. He then smiles as he thought that it is the first time that the girls had an argument and he went back to sleep.

In the twin’s house, the twins called out to them from the patio as Meiko thought that their house is like a castle. They then asked them what they want to drink and holds out a menu. Meiko looked at it and was shock that they are asking for payment and it is way expensive. [Coffee: 3000 yen, Beer: 5000 yen, Milk: 1000 yen] Meiko then said never mind, I’ll just have water. The twins then shouted that their water costs 2500 yen, freaking Meiko out as Haruhi told her to calm down for the twins are just joking. The twins then said that they don’t have water so they would drink tea. Meiko is angry that she got tricked. Then, their mother, Yuzuha, came in asking if they found their guests. Meiko introduced herself as Yuzuha comments about her tan being fake. Meiko was about to cry when Yuzuha says that she is just kidding for she likes vocal confident girls. Meiko laughs as she told Haruhi that Yuzuha is nice and she couldn’t possibly think that she would be the twin’s mother. Yuzuha then offered some biscuits to them. When Meiko bites into a biscuit, it turned out to be rubber. Yuzuha and the twins were laughing at her for she fell for their practical joke and the rubber biscuit is from England. Haruhi thought no wonder she is their mother but then, Yuzuha seems to be a great mother and seems nice.

Then, Yuzuha calls out to Hikaru but then, she is pretty much guessing if the one she is calling is Hikaru or Kaoru. Haruhi was surprised by this. Hikaru told her that he is indeed Hikaru. Yuzuha then apologized and asked him to help her show some new outfits for Haruhi. Hikaru follows his mom as Meiko wanted to go, too. Haruhi was still thinking how could their mother not distinguish between the two [twins] when Kaoru holds her shoulder telling her to they should go, too. Kaoru must have sensed Haruhi’s thoughts that he told her that she shouldn’t mind it too much for even if her mom’s fashion sense is really sensitive, she tends to be clueless about her personal life/them that everyday she tends to make it a game when guessing whose who. Even though it bothers her a bit but then, this is just how their mother’s way of showing her love for them. [Not quite sure if I understood that right] The other person who have noticed that is Tamaki, Kaoru smilingly says as Haruhi said, it that so.

After an hour, they got Haruhi to wear one of Yuzuha’s creations. Yuzuha was pretty happy about it for Haruhi looks like a doll, so cute. The twins said that didn’t they told her that before. Yuzuha then asked Meiko to quickly take a picture. She then asked Haruhi if she can pose. Yuzuha tries to coach her to pose but then, Haruhi ended up turning around in circles. Haruhi is already tired and asked if she can change her clothes back. Yuzuha was talking to the twins what did they think as they said okay then they wanted her to put on some other clothes. Haruhi said that she meant she wanted to rest already. Cue in the other Ouran members who had just arrived. They brought a gift as Tamaki thought Haruhi is cute in her outfit. The twins asked why Tamaki is there, doesn’t he have work at Misuzu’s. Tamaki told them that yesterday was the last day. While they were talking, Haruhi quickly took this chance to run away. The twins shouted that Haruhi is trying to escape and told the others to grab her. Haruhi, crying, tells them that she wanted to go wash her hands/go to the bathroom. Just then, someone grabbed her and told her to hide in the room. The others then passed by the room where Haruhi hide.

Inside the room, Haruhi thanked the guy who pulled her in and wonders who he was – a servant, she thought. To Haruhi’s embarrassment, it turned out to be the twin’s father as she remembered meeting him at the school festival before. The twin’s father said that he is already there earlier – scenes of him watching as the others dressed Haruhi up. Haruhi then apologized for not noticing him earlier. He said it is okay for it has been always like that as he gloomingly said that he seems to be like a stealth ninja who blends in the background. Haruhi said that it isn’t like that and she is really sorry. As the others looking for Haruhi, they decided to split up and Kaoru heard his father talking with Haruhi from the room. The twin’s father then said that it seems that Haruhi can distinguish the twins from each other. He then said that he and his wife has been busy that letting the twins alone made them a bit lonely. He then said about knowing the two – wanting others to distinguish between them and yet sacred of being tell apart from each other. Haruhi then remembered Kaoru saying that they tend to like the same things, what would happen if they like is only one, what would happen then. The twin’s father continue that it seems that they know each other’s place that even if they like the same things. Haruhi interrupted saying that at first she couldn’t quite understand it but she thinks that it is their nature. Kaoru blushes. His father then said is that so then he called out to Kaoru asking him up to when does he plan to eavesdrop. This surprised Kaoru. It seemed that as people can’t realize the twin’s father’s presence, he can easily detect the presence of others. Kaoru blushes as he shouts at his father to tell him when he comes back as his father smiles though a bit sad, says that just like what he said to Haruhi – about he being there a while ago already. Haruhi smiles as she thought that their father knew about truth about the twins.

They went back to the tea room as Honey, Mori and Kyoya were having tea, saying that they can’t find her so they had tea. Kaoru asked where Hikaru was. Kyoya said that Hikaru and Meiko went outside with Yuzuha who is going back to work while Tamaki is still looking for Haruhi. Kyoya then told them to have tea as he offered to be the one who would look for Tamaki. Kyoya then said that there are some biscuits made by Misuzu in return for Tamaki’s work. Kaoru was happy for it was his favorite, peach-strawberry biscuit but to his dismay, only one is left. Kaoru asked why did Honey ate all of it. Honey gleefully yet embarrassed said that it was Mori’s little chick [I have no idea why Mori has a chick on his head and looking from pages earlier, it was there when they arrived. Oh, oh, I found it. He bought it from the festival from last chapter. ^^;; ] who told him that he can eat as much as he like. [passing blame on others] Mori and the chick’s reaction was what?! Haruhi thought that is like what Tamaki does. Kaoru sighs and said that there is nothing can be done about that, he would just give it to Hikaru. Haruhi asked why for didn’t Kaoru said he likes it. Kaoru said that he does like it but then, Hikaru also likes it. Haruhi then told him that it seems that Kaoru has found the answer to his question for didn’t he ask earlier what would happen if both he and Hikaru liked a single thing. Haruhi continues that since Kaoru is nice, he would then give the thing he likes to Hikaru but then, doing that would not make Hikaru happy. Kaoru was surprised and laughs it off. As he shakes her hair, he told her that she thinks too much about it and it is just a biscuit. Haruhi then thought, is it really, did I think too much about it. Honey was actually intently listening to this and was thinking. I can’t tell much from Mori’s reaction.

Outside, Yuzuha bids Hikaru goodbye and that they would meet again after some days and asked him to tell Kaoru. Then, Yuzuha left. Meiko was happy and excited about meeting her as Hikaru comments that it seemed that she has changed her focused from Tamaki to his mom. Meiko was shock that he knew as Hikaru said that it is pretty obvious. Meiko said that it didn’t matter anymore for Tamaki is a bit stupid and only has Haruhi in his brains. Hikaru laughs that it seems the opposite with Haruhi for she doesn’t think of Tamaki...He didn’t get to finish as Meiko asks what is he talking about, are you also stupid. Meiko told him that for her, it isn’t like Haruhi deliberately ‘disregards’ Tamaki but more of she doesn’t realize her own feelings. Hikaru was shock about this and then became thoughtful.

Hikaru and Meiko then arrived at the tea room. Meiko was shock that Haruhi is eating with Yuzuha’s outfit on and told her to change. Haruhi said that she can’t remove the zipper at the back so she didn’t change. Meiko then drags her to help her change. Kaoru noticed that Hikaru seems to be thinking of something as he was glancing at the two girls’ direction. Kaoru called out to him as Hikaru asks, Kaoru...what do you think...Haruhi she..Kaoru then asks what is it as Hikaru said it was nothing then noticed the tray of one biscuit that Kaoru is holding. Hikaru asked if that is the peach-strawberry that he likes which Misuzu makes. Kaoru gleefully said that it is and it is the last one for Honey ate the rest. Hikaru thanked him and asked what about Kaoru’s share. Kaoru lied saying that he already ate one. Hikaru then he took the biscuit while looking at Kaoru, smiling. After biting it into half, Hikaru shoved the other half to surprised Kaoru’s mouth. Hikaru asked does Kaoru thought that he would eat everything, stupid, the half is yours. Hikaru then told him what is he thinking, if Kaoru lied to him again about this kind of thing, he [Hikaru] won’t forgive him.

Just then, Tamaki came and angry that everyone is having tea and ate the biscuit that he worked hard for. Hikaru then goes to Tamaki saying isn’t he looking for Haruhi. Tamaki cries that it is because the house is so big that he fears Haruhi might get lost. Hikaru said that maybe it is Tamaki who got lost. While they argue, Kaoru looked a bit sad as Honey approaches him. Honey then asked if Kaoru likes Haruhi. Kaoru was a bit taken aback but then confesses that he does. He already noticed it earlier on but then, he decided to keep it a secret since he likes the current club’s situation and Hikaru is important to him but it seems that he has lost his self-confidence. Kaoru then remembers Haruhi telling him if he did that would Hikaru be happy and Hikaru telling him not to do it again else, he won’t forgive him. Kaoru then says that he doesn’t really know [what would happen/to do]. Honey looked at him worriedly. The others were oblivious to what the two talked about as Tamaki cries that Haruhi has already changed as Hikaru tries to comfort him. Meiko is talking with Mori’s chick. ^^;; And then from the skies, the autumn clouds had come, their summer has quickly end. The last scene was of Meiko saying that summer can’t end, she haven’t finished her homework as Haruhi offered to help her with it.

And so, it is confirmed, Kaoru also likes Haruhi, that would leave Honey, Mori and Kyoya. If Honey is right just as with Kaoru, Kyoya might also have feeling for Haruhi. I’m somewhat doubtful about Mori liking Haruhi and well, Honey, I don’t think it is romantically like. This chapter showed where the twins got their fond of practical jokes came from and that is their mother. It is interesting in this chapter is how the author tends to make the mother with Hikaru while the father with Kaoru, coincidence or not. I guess just like the twins, Hikaru’s presence tends to be more strong while Kaoru isn’t. It is also amusing that their parents are contrast of each other, too though they complement each other by compensating what the other isn’t. One is popular yet clueless about her children while the other blends in the background yet knows more about them. I guess Kaoru lost confidence because Hikaru managed to read him – read beyong the lie so next time if Hikaru asked if Kaoru likes Haruhi, Kaoru would not be able to lie. I wonder if there is a meaning to that summer end and now autumn comes..would that mean their relationships would break up later on. Oh ya, Mori’s chick is cute..I wonder if he can bring it to school. He seems to be fond of it. Hehehe Next chapter will be out on Dec 22 but then, summary would depend on how early the traditional Chinese scans is out. It is a bit delayed this time, it used to be after just a week.

V. B. Rose [Chapter 21]

Flashback: Kyouichi called up Yukari telling him that the bride model for the fake ceremony presentation had food poisoning. They wondered why she haven’t arrived yet and when they called her house, they learned about it that the model even have to be brought to the hospital at the middle of the night. They are currently looking for a replacement but haven’t found any so he would like to request Yukari to let them borrow Ageha. End of flashback. At Villa Ange, Ageha looked stunned as Yukari told him why they call her. Yukari is already dressed up as it was Mitsuya who brought her there. Ageha says that she knows the reason but why would Yukari play the groom. She asked if the actor didn’t come. Yukari said that he did come but then he thought that she would not be uncomfortable doing it with a stranger. Ageha was really happy for it was like a dream come true. Yukari then apologized for asking her to do this and that he would be responsible for her since in the past he won’t let Ageha wear wedding gowns for the fear that she might marry late. Ageha then says that she actually believes this superstition but since this had happened, nothing can be done. If that actually happened, she won’t blame Yukari. Compared to this, she actually is more concerned if she can actually do this. She smiles as she said that Yukari is again astonish about it that Ageha wonders if she said wrong.

Maki then came out the room, angry why haven’t they got Ageha be fixed when she is already there. Maki then calls for Ageha to come in when Yukari touches a strand of her hair as she passes by and told Maki to make Ageha look like a princess. Ageha blushes as Maki told him, leave it to me. Inside the room, as Maki asks Ageha to sit down, she goes weak on her knees wondering what does Yukari meant when he said making her a princess. She snapped out of it and asked Maki if it is really okay for her to play the bride and if she can actually pull it off. Maki said that he doesn’t think she can for she is a high schooler and this isn’t her field. Maki smiles and sit her on the chair as he told her that even so, they all pull their trust on her, else, they wouldn’t have aske her to go there. Maki told her to just believe in herself and think that she ia a ‘happy/lucky bride’. He then sat her up and started doing her hair as he told her that it is also because Yukari asked him to do this and that he is actually happy when Ageha told him that he makes brides-to-be look like princesses. Maki then said that he would now make her into a cute princess bride.

Outside, Yukari was looking at his watch as Mitsuya told him not to worry for Maki will make it in time. Then, Mitsuya noticed that Yukari wasn’t really thinking about the time. Yukari asked where does Ageha get to know when to say ‘nice things at the right moment’. Mitsuya told him that isn’t that Ageha’s nature aside from saying what she likes and easily angered at times to kept on apologizing if she mades a mistake no matter what it was. Mitsuya then complete with bat wings and tail, asked if that is why he fallen for her and even say that he would be doing the groom role so that she would be at ease when in reality, he [Yukari] can’t bear to see some other guy walking Ageha down the red carpeted aisle. Mitsuya talks about it in glee as Yukari embarrassed told him to shut up. Then, they learned that Ageha is ready so Mitsuya told him to just do what he think he should do.

As they walk out to where Ageha was, they met Kyouichi who hugs Yukari claiming to be his father and that she looked really beautiful. Kyouichi then told him to look there and Yukari was stunned at how beautiful Ageha was in the wedding gown. But then, Ageha was really nervous that Yukari has to hold her up as she walks down to him. Ageha was saying that she is trying her best but can’t help being nervous about it that Yukari let out a laugh. Ageha asked if she looked funny as Yukari said it was nothing. He then caught her as he told her not to worry for he is there and that they would just walk side by side to the altar. The attendant then told them everything is ready as they prepare their walk. Ageha thought is this how her sister/a bride would feel, walking beside the person you love – being nervous and everything yet happy. Then, they proceed with the ceremony and everything went smoothly except for putting the ring on Yukari that Ageha was so nervous that she can’t get it in. The priest had to say that she just relax and it would be alright. The audience laughed as Ageha was embarraseed about it. Then, just when Yukari leans close to her for the kiss, he didn’t but Ageha thought that she just seen a different side of Yukari. The ceremony finally ended.

After the ceremony, Yukari said that he will head back to VBR since they have a customer in the afternoon. Mitsuya has already went back to the store. Yukari’s outfit is from Rosa. Ageha says that she will head back too and asked him to wait for her to get changed but Yukari told her that she has no work and to mingle with friends/people there. Ageha playfully says that she has not reached Yukari and Mitsuya’s level. Yukari shouted that he is sorry as he was embarrassed that immediately take it back for he fightened Ageha. He then told Ageha that next time if she is free one evening, after his work, they go out for dinner. Ageha was surprised and blushed about it as she asked with whom. Yukari shouted of course with him. Ageha says that of course, she would want to and even twirled around in happiness as Yukari was surprised that she is happy about it. [He is clueless that Ageha actually likes him.] Ageha happily told him that she will look into her schedule for it then as Yukari remembered Mitsuya’s advice to just do what he thinks he should do.

Actually, I don’t quite know about the superstition about marrying late when one wear’s a wedding gown. The ones I know about singing in front of the stove. ^^; I doubt Ageha would do it if it means not getting married. Hehehe Well, Mitsuya has adviced Yukari to not worry too much and just do what he should do which Yukari did by asking Ageha out for dinner. The two are actually clueless that the one they like actually likes them..but then, everyone else knows.

Weekly Jump Update: Bleach, One Piece and Gintama

It turned out that it was indeed Nell who had caught up with Ichigo in Bleach [c. 250]. Ichigo couldn’t let him go as Nell is attached to him and well, he realized that they aren’t alone. The entrance of the arrancar he met wasn’t exactly breathtaking wow but a duh since he fell from the arches above and was about to make an introduction but get caught up with the smoke he created that he ended up coughing. His appearance isn’t the type to be taken seriously either. He is numbered 103 arrancar. Nell and Ichigo were belittling him since single digits are espada and two digits are the ones who didn’t make it so what more are the three digits. Then, irked, 103 goes for the attack. It turned out that three digits as from Tousen and Gin’s discussion, they are the ones who got booted out of the espada group when somebody stronger than them are created. So, Ichigo was shocked that he got wounded. From Gin and Tousen scene, Wanderweiss is attached to Tousen as Tousen comments it is because of his ‘pureness’. While Aizen isn’t bothered by the intruders, Tousen is checking up on them. It does seem that Tousen doesn’t exactly trust Gin either for he said that anyone would be on guard against Gin. Well, it turned out Gin shares my opinion that it would have been better for them to stick together as group to fight than splitting up since they don’t know how strong their enemies or rather they underestimated them [arrancars]. If the latter is correct, no wonder Aizen isn’t worried. I guess the next few chapters would be meeting other three digit ranked arrancars. Oh ya, 103 looks familiar...like a character in Zombie Powder. ^^;; Pic of Nell below seems to be spoofing Home Alone ^^;

In One Piece [c. 433], Garp says his goodbye to Luffy as their parting is filled with hits as Garp is angry that Luffy isn’t emotional enough. ^^; It seems that Garp just came to have Luffy talk with Coby and Helmepopo. Coby told them how they get into Grandline using a certain invention by a certain scientist, etc. All of this are being listed into by Nami who is on a pool..she is eavesdropping and write down notes. Coby was grateful for knowing Luffy that he realized it is a big world out there or else, he would have stayed a servant of Alvida. Coby then mentioned of a sea yet to be conquered called New World and if Luffy did, he would be pirate king and he would be stronger by then to capture Luffy. Coby then announced that he wanted to be an admiral then quickly gets embarrassed about it but Luffy and others, to his surprise, didn’t laugh at him. Coby and Helmepopo left while saying they would be stronger and they will meet again at the New World. At the pool, it is the usual party time after the big fight. Everyone is having a barbecue as even Sogeking joined in and does his usual karaoke thing. Franky family, Iceberg, Franky and gals, and shipwrights have heard of Luffy being awake so they all joined the party.

While everyone is having a party, Robin was standing aside looking at them when Aokiji from the other side of the wall asked her why didn’t she escape from CP9 when she easily could. Robin told him that she already said that it isn’t the same as before and she doesn’t want them [strawhats] to die. Aokiji admitted that Sauro is his friend so he respected his wish to let Robin go. He made himself responsible for it that he was always watching Robin and since she kept on running and is like a walking time bomb, he decided to end it all since Robin also would have wanted it to but it all turned out to be the end of CP9. Aokiji then asked if Robin has found her place and will she show Sauro whether letting her live is a right or wrong decision. Robin said yes and that she plan to prove if letting her live is a right or wrong decision. Aokiji then says that she should then keep herself alive for Ohara haven’t fallen. Robin then tries to see him but he already left. Luffy then called out to her showing her his mouth filled with meat while having sticks in his nose. Robin then said she will try it as Sanji tried to stop her. Aokiji was then biking away. At the marines, there is a bad news for Shanks had destroyed the ships after him and has made contact with Whitebeard. At New World, Whitebeard awaits meeting with Shanks and hoped that Shanks brought some good wine.

It does seem Aokiji isn’t that bad after all and well, lots of marines aren’t that bad – knowing what is right and wrong. It is indeed a contrast with Spandam and others who tried to change things in the name of justice. It is amusing that Robin even wants to loosen up that she wanted to join Luffy with his antics. And well, things might focus on the other pirates now as to what are Whitebeard and Shanks going to talk about though maybe they will party a bit. It seems that pirates fight hard and party hard. Hehehe

In Gintama [c. 138-139], Kyuubei’s long haired underling wanted her to become more feminine by buying women’s clothing but he always ended up being blasted away. He then decided to get the help of Gin and others by organizing a group date. I don’t get the sex-change stuff. Anyway, Gin and Kagura goes on trying to recruit people but he was turned down. Shinpachi is the one telling Kyuubei and Otae about it. Otae encouraged Kyuubei to check it out as Kondou and Sacchan overheard it. On the waiting place in frong of a statue, Gin and others were already waiting. Then, to Gin’s surprise, Katsura came with Elizabeth. Gin beat him up for he asked earlier but Katsura turned him down. Katsura is cosplaying some rapping teen. Then, Kondou and Sacchan came uninvited. Kondou and Katsura saw each other since they are enemies, they beat each other up. Kyuubei then came in complete armor and horse for she thought it is a fight between boys and girls. Otae then came telling Kyuubei that she misunderstood her and that she was told by Gin to bring cute girls. The girls she brought are anything but cute. ^^; Then, off they went while underling seems to be thinking of something else.

At a boat, they are all eating together. It seemed that from all the fighting, both Katsura and Kondou lost their memories and thought they are buddies. Shinpachi then imagined that they aren’t really in just a table but it is like a kindergarten’s lunch period wherein the desk are just put close together but separated by boundaries. Otae then was saying something about the mushroom that Kyuubei doesn’t want to eat. Gin then told her that he wanted it so could she give it to her. As she was going to give it to him – bridging the gap, Otae kicked him away saying why is he using his chopsticks to get it or touch Kyuubei’s chopsticks. Shinpachi then imagines her sister as the protective friend of the girl in class. Then, the girls that Otae brought made the boundaries larger as to why Otae would interrupt. Like a younger brother student, Shinpachi then asked if one of them like Gin that is why they are saying that. The fat girl blushes that it isn’t so as both Gin and Shinpachi were shock for it is true. Then, Gin tries to explain when Sacchan plays the typical clumsy girl in school yet is really the stalker who stalks the lead in a story.

Then, Kondou wanted to do rock while Katsura rap that it is so sad that it makes Shinpachi cry. Gin pointed out that it is also making Kyuubei cry. The two tend argued about something when the ship begin to shake. It seemed that the underling had took over the boat as he thought that when things are dangerous, that is when love is really shown – something like that. Everyone tries to hold on as Kyuubei got overboard but managed to hold on a lifesaver. They try to save her when the tipping of the boat made Gin fall down, too. As Gin got to the side of the boat, he told Kyuubei that he will save him so she should hold on. Kyuubei said that he can’t for if she can’t touch a guy – she will toss him away. Gin says that it isn’t the time for that so Gin hold her hand and Gin got tossed away. It turned out that Gin used that so that Kyuubei would actually be thrown into the boat to safety while he goes plummeting down the sea. Gin was smiling and then, Kyuubei was holding Gin up. Kyuubei says that was risky but Gin knew that she will hold his hand. Gin says that if he didn’t do it, then he can’t touch her, it was really risky, it is nothing, to hold a beautiful girl’s hand. The last scene was the underling cutting? the ad on sex change.

I think this would be funny if I actually know what the heck are they spoofing if the author is spoofing some series. It must be some school romance and about group dating. It is interesting that Kyuubei doesn’t want to be hold by guys but it is okay if she was the one who hold the guy’s hand. Maybe the underling decided that what Kyuubei is now is okay.

Skip Beat! [Chapter 95]

Shou had finished writing this song’s musical piece with a smile of confidence as he told Shouko to have it photocopied to be given to the band members. Shou then told her that since there isn’t enough paper, he has written at the back and it is important so she shouldn’t forget. Shouko then reminded Shou about the possibility of his song being copied if they did that especially since they don’t know who the culprit is. Shou assured her that even if it is copied, it would be useless for them. Shou then told her to go photocopy it already as he thought that this is the start of Shou Fuwa’s rise into greatness.

In the set, they had just finished shooting some scenes though it is a bit late for lunch as Ogata apologized and told everyone to eat their lunch. Kyouko was looking for Ren wondering if he maanged to digest what he ate already but to her surprised, Ren is already gone [escaped ^^;] as the actresses playing maids were disappointed that Ren had already left as they wanted to eat with Ren. Yashiro was the only one there who apologized to them for Ren wanted to rest/sleep rather than eat that he left like the wind. The four maid actresses whine that they haven’t talked with Ren yet and if only they knew he was at the hotel that night, they would have gone to visit him. Yashiro thought that it is just because of this that they kept it a secret and that Ren would want to talk with Kyouko alone. Yashiro says that it seems that Ren is tired. The girls agreed that Ren does seem to look tired then they whine why did Kyouko got to be with Ren alone that night. They were jealous that Ren paid special attention to Kyouko since she was stalked and they wanted to be stalked, too. Then, Kyouko went to her ‘demon mode’ as her demons started to stalk the girls [as to how to cook them] who were really scared for they can’t move. The girls begged for forgiveness and that they won’t ask to be stalked again. When the girls left, Yashiro praised her for her ability to do scary roles as Kyouko isn’t too happy about that – making people really scared of her. She thought that she just got angry that they wanted to be stalked as she was really scared of being stalked by that Vie Ghoul guy [Reino] for she can’t escape him also, with Ren, it isn’t as good as everyone thought for Ren’s ‘demon lord’ mode had awaken and it scared her but..

In the bus, Ren is lying down the seat/sofa, trying to sleep. Ren was thinking that he knew of this crushing feeling and it was like before – when he was fired by the director when he was young, it is like Shou’s smirk of victory at him. He then sit up as he wondered why did that made him remember the bitter past and the fight isn’t over yet, why does he feel as if he had lost. Ren looked a bit worried when the door opened, it was Kyouko who shouted, are you okay, complete with tears that it stunned Ren, wondering what is it.

At the Vie Ghoul’s place, they were stunned that Shou is so stupid to have his song photocopied that they got themselves a copy from their ‘spider/spy’. They said that it seems Shou’s group doesn’t want to be outdone that they remade the music to match the lyrics that they already have. They would then try out the music and make their own music, hoping to finish it before Shou does. They told Reino to just relax and had his anemia get better for he can sing later on. Reino then text on his mobile phone [it seems that he doesn’t want to talk] and showed it to the long haired member asking what if his anemia didn’t get better by then. Reino was thinking that his body is still in pain and he isn’t in the mood to sing when he is in pain. Long haired member told him that it doesn’t matter for Shou can’t finish it that fast either but the winner of this game is whoever finishes the song first whether ahead by a day or by a hour.

Later on, Kyouko is frantically asking Ren if he is okay, if his stomach is okay and if there is something she can put his head on but everything are just costumes. Ren who wasn’t able to answer yet was forced to lie down by Kyouko. Ren is still trying to tell her that he is okay as he wonders why has it come to this. Ren tries to remember that he said that he is just going to take a nap in the bus rather than eat though he did lie about going to sleep. Flashback: Kyouko asking Yashiro if Ren is really tired since she can’t tell. Yashiro said maybe. Yashiro then had an idea that he said that the nap is really an excuse for Ren since he felt sick at the idea of being forced to eat. Kyouko freaks out that after she entered the bus, asking how Ren was, she was frantically apologizing to him that it was all her fault. End of flashback. Still lying down, Ren wonders how could Yashiro put such an idea on Kyouko’s head. Kyouko then looks worried asks if there is anything he can think of that she can do for him. Ren then just stared at her as Kyouko took noticed and was a bit puzzled. Ren then thought, it is as I have no place in her world, what is my existence to her. Kyouko was then asking/calling his name as Ren’s eyes flashed a bit [going into emperor of the night mode kind of flash]. He then says there is something that he would want her to do. Kyouko looked a bit surprised about it.

At the studio, Shou’s group just finished playing the music and they all looked stunned or puzzled as Shou is smiling. Shouko asked if this is really the music that he wanted to use. At the same time, Vie Ghoul members who are also trying to record the music were also puzzled if Shou is really going to use that music and what the heck is he thinking. Everyone looked puzzled as only Shou knows why he will use that music.

Well, Shou now has the edge against Vie Ghoul as he apparently thought of a way to throw off Vie Ghoul or rather making a trap for them. Reino doesn’t seem to like to talk when he is in pain so it would be much harder to make him sing by then. The Ren's fans-actresses lost another chance to be with Ren. Hehe, maybe next time if there is a next time. It seemed that Shou’s smirk of victory bothered Ren so much that he escaped lunch, aside from overeating. It also made him remember his past as it pains him that Kyouko treats him as ‘others’. He easily get discouraged just because Shou smirked at him and well, because of Kyouko unknowlingly 'brushed' him aside. Of course, it is Kyouko to the rescue. ^_^ It is interesting that even if she fears Ren’s demon lord, she still worries about him. Kyouko asking what she can do for him reminds me of TCP when Tsubasa said that she will do everything for a favor – it is like digging her own grave. Hehehe, Kyouko does seem to want to take it back as she was nervous what he would ask of her. So, what would Ren want her to do especially since he seems to be going into emperor of the night mode? Actually, I already know. Hehehe Chapter 96 raws are already out. Chinese scans of Skip beat tend to be done after two weeks when a new chapter is out.

Nana [Chapter 63]

Blast’s agent [the one assigned to Shin] called him up to tell him that he will arrive at around 15 minutes so which room is he staying. Shin told him to wait at the lobby since he would be a little late. After hanging up, Shin continues having sex with Kashiwagi [the woman who looked like Reira]. Shin then looks around the closet and asked whose shirt was. She said it is Satoshi’s. [I don’t recall a character named Satoshi in this series ^^;; It would be either her lover/husband or even son] Shin asked if he can borrow it. Kashiwagi says that he can for she was the one who bought it and Satoshi wouldn’t mind. When Shin wore it, he found that the sleeves are short. Kashiwagi freaks out as she thought that if Shin grows up, he wouldn’t be cute anymore. Shin says that it can’t be help since he is a living thing. Kashiwagi then mentions that European people tend to be tall. Shin then looks a bit sad. [Remembers Reira?]

In some apartment, Yasu and Mai were talking. Mai had placed some books and letters on the table as she said that these are her grandfather’s diaries and the letters that Nana’s mother had written to her grandfather. Mai then said that her grandfather died when she was just in third year that she was very lonely. It turned out that it was her grandfather who was the one with her when her parents are out working while her grandmother is already deceased. She was lonely when he died that she would stay at her grandfather’s room. Then, Mai cried remembering about it as Yasu offered some coffee. Mai continues that she then found her grandfather’s diaries. Her grandfather used to be the lover of Nana’s grandmother. Mai learned of this when she read the diaries. In Tokyo, when Miyuki’s [Nana’s grandma] husband died, she brought her daughter, Misuzu [Nana’s mother] back to their hometown. In order to live, they have a little bar, and that is where Mai’s grandfather met them. I think Mai said that her grandfather helped them a bit. Yasu comments that it seemed that Nana doesn’t know of this since she mentioned that her grandma is strict. Mai comments that it could be that Miyuki kept it a secret from Misuzu and Nana. Then Mai said that she read when her grandpa is dying, he is a bit worried about Misuzu and Nana but the last entry on Sept 3 – her grandpa had seen Nana with a cute guy, smiling. [I think it is Nobu. I seem to remember seeing a flashback chapter of the two but I can’t find it. ^^; Maybe it was there where Mai’s grandpa is shown] It was the first time he saw her with no anger that it surprised him. When he asked if he is her boyfriend. Nana replied that she joined a band and he is a band member. No matter what somehow, he was relieved [doesn’t have to worry anymore] and that Miyuki in heaven would have also be relieved, too. After reading that, Mai wanted to meet with Nana.

Mai was captivated by Nana who changes to somebody else when on stage that it is like magic. She thinks that her grandpa doesn’t want her to be lonely that he ‘guided’ her to meet Nana. Yasu asked if she had met Nana’s mother. Mai said that she haven’t for it seems that Misuzu’s last letter to her grandpa wanted to end the relation and for him not to bother/communicate with her anymore. It seemed that Misuzu doesn’t want to be bothered with the past anymore and that she doesn’t have a good relationship with her mother, Miyuki. Mai’s grandpa was worried about Misuzu that he tries to meet up with her many times but Miyuki said that it is troublesome. Yasu comments that the letter dated 88 seems to be earlier before. Mai said that it is around that time when Misuzu met Uehara and had Misato – living a much better life. Mai suggested that she read the diaries and letters to know more about the story but Yasu declined saying that he is an outsider so he has no right to read them. Mai felt embarrassed for she read it but Yasu said that she is related to her grandfather so it is okay while he is a complete outsider. Yasu said that he wanted to know the real story behind why Misato and Nana shouldn’t meet, is it because of Misuzu’s past. Mai says it isn’t for she is worried for Nana since if Misato knew of their relation and she might want to be close to her but, even without evil intent, Nana would still get hurt. Yasu agreed that it is indeed best for them not to get too close. He then asked why did Mai used Misato’s name in introducing herself to Nana before. Mai said that she wanted to be like Nana’s sister, more than just a fan and then, she wanted to be more than a fan that she got herself become a staff for Blast. Yasu said that he understands for people with that kind of feeling would have also done it, too. Then, some light talk about that side of Yasu as Yasu said that others just analyze too much about him. Then, an agent came to pick Yasu up so Yasu prepares to leave as he told Mai that they would continue the conversation again some time.

At Hachi’s house, her family noticed that Hachi is eating less as they told her to eat more since she is eating for two people. Her father asked if she was able to talk with Takumi and Hachi said yes but in reality, Takumi haven’t called as she thought that Takumi is really like this and it doesn’t mean that he doesn’t love her but she is bothered by him not telling her about using their story in exchange of Ren-Reira story. At London, Naoki says that they have a day off on Sunday and where would they want to go. Reira says that she wants to go to Switzerland. The others wanted to go with her but she said that she wanted to go alone for she would go with her lover. Reira then left the table as Naoki asks who it is. Takumi says he doesn’t know as Ren wonders if it is okay to let her go alone. Takumi says that Reira isn’t a kid anymore. A staff mentions that people there speaks English. Takumi and Naoki says then it is okay. Ren says that he isn’t worried about that, throws the spoon on his soup and went to Reira. Takumi was observing them. As things goes spinning into a place where there is no turning back. That night, Hachi couldn’t sleep when her mobile phone rang. It was a text message from Nana that she couldn’t sleep so she watched the DVD movie that Hachi liked – it made her sleepy so she is thanking her for it and good night. Hachi thought that she still couldn’t do it for she can’t let things be as it is then she calls Takumi. Takumi in the restroom was telling Hachi that she was being tricked for Reira wouldn’t be that careless to do such thing outside and that she haven’t seen the real photo, etc. Takumi then says why doesn’t she talk to Yasu about it if she is worried/for Yasu to calm her. It made Hachi made so she said it’s enough/that’s the end of discussion and hang up the phone. Takumi then thought, if it is the end, then that’s that, he then goes out and kisses this other girl who called him. Hachi is irritated that Takumi is so cold as she wondered what should she do for she is worried and perplexed. She then decided to call Yasu when her younger sister came in. Hachi whines why does people kept on interrupting when she is going to call Yasu. Her sister then showed her a magazine and on the front page of Search, story about Nana’s heartless mother who abandoned her. Hachi asked what it is as her sister said that she bought it at the store. Hachi asked isn’t Search publication shold be out by Thursday. Her sis said maybe it is published earlier. Hachi was wondering why and how could they have written the story so fast, she doesn’t know about this and what should she do.

At a convenient store, Sorahiroshi, Misato’s bro, went to buy a car magazine, just beside it is the Search magazine. He talked a bit with the cashier who likes Misato. As he walks home, he got a text from Misato telling him to thank her for getting Yasu’s autograph. Then, he noticed some people out his house that he asked who they are. The people then asked if he belongs to the Uehara family and he said yes. The people then said that they are reporters and they want to ask some questions. Misato who was already sleeping when Sorahiroshi knocked on her door and called out to her. He told her not to go outside and don’t open the windows. Misato asked what is it about for she is going to her friend’s house. Her brother told her not to ask and just do as he told her to. Misato was puzzled by her brother’s behavior.

Everyone in Blast, minus Nana already know of the article. Shin said that Nana wouldn’t be bothered by it but Nobu doesn’t think so. Shin insist that didn’t Nana said that she doesn’t care what had happened to her mother or where she is. Nobu whines even if it is so, but still. One of the staff whose name I forgot said that he would be the one to tell her about it then. Mai wanted to go, too as well as Nobu. Yasu then said that it is best for Nobu to go alone. After some surprise reaction from the others, Yasu told them that they don’t know how Nana would react so it would be best if only one would go. Everyone then agrees as Nobu asks why him. Everyone then said that didn’t he volunteer, isn’t he the brave one, etc. Yasu then says that if Nana is hurt, the only one whom she can show let herself cry freely in front of is him. Yasu then said that he is depending on him as Nobu smiles. The last scene was of Reira and Ren on bed, Ren playing his guitar while Reira is listening on the headphones. Since most narration is by Hachi, I’m assuming it is Hachi saying this else it is Nobu, Nana, I can’t do much for you but I wanted to lessen Nana’s loneliess so once again, hold my hand.

And so, the story about Nana’s mother abandoning her is out. Nana and Misato are the only ones who doesn’t know yet. Much of the chapter is on how Mai knew about Nana so that is one mystery revealed. Almost all of the loose plots are getting tied up and well, things aren’t really going better. I have a feeling that Ren and Reira might actually fall for each other since they are lonely and well, far away from the ones they love/lovers. Takumi is well, Takumi, still playing around but then, he does know the business to tell Hachi that the pictures are fake. Hachi has fallen for the trap to confirm that Mrs. Uehara is indeed Nana’s mother and because of her indecision and Search beating her to it, Nana would have to learn about her mother after almost everyone already knows/read about it. So, it is Nobu who has been elected to go ‘comfort’ Nana or face whatever is Nana’s reaction to the story. I guess that is why the colored page is of Nana and Nobu.

Later on that day, Ageha visited her sister who is on her eight month of pregnancy. She told her sister about the wedding exhibit in Villa Ange and it was Yukari who brought her there. Hibari, her sister, was a bit nostalgic for she also went to such an exhibit before. Ageha says that there is always something different in every exhibit. She also told Hibari about Maki and Manyou. Hibari noticed that Ageha is really happy and asked what it is. Ageha then thought that during the promo/fake ceremony, she was saying something to Yukari when she realized that Yukari has fallen asleep on her shoulder. Just then, Kyouichi came telling them not to be lovey-dovey when everyone is busy then he realized that Yukari has fallen asleep. Kyouichi then says about how Ageha has been calling out loud and shaking him but he won’t wake up. Ageha can only nod in agreement. Kyouichi then plans to draw a mustache on his face as Ageha freaks out. Just then Yukari wakes up as Kyouichi asks, oh you are awake, sleeping beauty. Ageha was a bit disappointed that when Yukari woke up, he was very surprised/shock that it is like a child who held the hands of a different woman whom the child thought was her mom. Ageha then showed to them [Hibari and her parents] the pictures of her on the bridal dresses. Her father comments why arne’t the dresses white then asked Ageha not to get married soon. Her father feels a bit lonely after seeing the pictures as Ageha assures him she won’t for she is just 16. Then someone said that her parents were a couple when they were on second year high school. The rest is some warm family chatter.

Edit: Ageha is wearing bridesmaid dresses. Her father asked why it isn't white. The girls replied that if an unmarried woman wore white, they will get married late/won't get married early.

At VBR, Yukari was embarrassed that he has fallen asleep as Mitsuya kept on laughing at him for he fell asleep while outside. Mitsuya kept on teasing him and told him to admit his feeling for Ageha already. Yukari told him to quit it or else, he would call Mitsuya, Kyouichi no. 2. Yukari then admitted that he felt love is quite bothersome/can hurt people that makes them chaotic [going in circles]. Mitsuya then says that he kept on saying that then wouldn’t there be someone else who would take that opportunity [someone else would take Ageha away]. Speaking of those kind of people, Ageha is with them [Mamoru and Ryuu]. Ageha has been telling them all about what had happened – wedding exhibit and trying out wedding dresses. Just then, Ageha remembered Yukari telling her she looked good, she blushed as the two quickly sense it [jealous of Yukari]. The three then make plans on what they would do on a certain day as the two [Mamoru and Ryuu] were happy that they got a ‘date’ with Ageha. It is already 7pm when Ageha said that she better go home since it is late. Mamoru asked her brother to take Ageha home. Ryuu was surprised by Mamoru’s change of behavior and asked if she is sick. Ageha insist that it isn’t dark yet so it is okay. Mamoru says that a girl shouldn’t be walking alone. Ryuu caught on and asked what happened. Ageha told him that a stranger was following her one day and that it was Yukari who saved her when things got dangerous so from then on, she tries to go home early. Ryuu’s mood changed when he heard about Yukari and then, he told Ageha that even if the sun sets later during summer, he couldn’t let her go home alone since he would be very worried about her so let him walk her home. Ageha was touched that she agreed. Mamoru thought that her brother is quite tricky to change it to him being worried so that Ageha would agree. While walking home, Ryuu asked Ageha about her. Ageha told him that she is getting the hang of it though it is embarrassing that she has to be accompanied by someone when going home. They then talked about learning to drive as Ryuu comments adults are quite advantageous. Just then, he sends some evil chii to Yukari who got zapped as Mitsuya asked what is it. Ageha then says that from Ryuu’s house, it is better to walk, she likes it better, for they can have more time together as they take their pace and it is fun. Ryuu smiles and holds Ageha’s hand as he says that holding hands, he can better protect her from stalkers for he is a guy. Ageha blushed as they walked home together.

At VBR, Yukari goes on different phases of shock as Ageha told her that Ryuu brought her home and even hold her hands which made heart skip a beat. Yukari quickly grabbed Mitsuya and went to a different room. Yukari shouted that his heart is going crazy/having bad feeling. Mitsuya then told him that is why he suggested Yukari to confess his feelings already. Yukari is wrestling over his feelings [jealousy] as he asks himself is he this kind of person, cannot be calm at a situation like this. Mitsuya says that when one is in love and this happens, one cannot be calm and collected. Yukari then points out a picture of Ryuu saying that those eyes/glare are the ones who can make a person go in circles [from vol. 3]. Mitsuya then told Yukari if he knew that even if he likes or doesn’t like Ageha, he [Yukari] has been driving Ageha in circles already and he is doing it until now. Yukari’s brain got fried as Mitsuya told him not to think too much about it.

Yukari came out as Ageha asked what is wrong. Yukari looks at her then, goes aside shaking his hair with his hands. Yukari then asked how is her work as Ageha gladly showed him it is finished for she has already attached the lace on the gown. Yukari then slams his hands on the table, surprising Ageha. [Can’t confess? =P] Yukari then says that he wants Ageha to help her some more as Ageha asked what is it. Yukari asked for her home number so that she doesn’t have to go home alone at night. [I think Yukari is offering to drive her at night] Ageha then thanked him for his consideration. Yukari thought that he still can’t do it even if he should have confessed and he just made it [driving her home] work related. On a Sunday in August, Ageha was on the floor, sleepy as she answered the phone by saying, yes..hello..this is Ageha. The person on the other line reprimanded her for giving out her name when she is at home. [The way Ageha answers the phone is for work, telling one’s name – well, in customer service here] Ageha was shock that it was Yukari who called. Yukari asked about her mobile phone as Ageha said that she was sleeping so she put it in silent mode. Yukari shouted at her that she is always like this as Ageha asked what’s up. Yukari told her that he doesn’t have time to explain and asked her what day is it. Ageha says that it is the day of the wedding exhibit. Yukari said that the girl who would play the bride got sick and can’t come..did she know how it works already. Ageha was shock and was about to ask but Yukari says that it is as she thought it is – Ageha will be the substitute and he will be playing the groom.

Hehehe, a dream come true for Ageha. ^_^ It does seem that Yukari has some issues that he can’t confess to Ageha. As usual, Mamoru and Ryuu are quite cute here. I love them as the jealous protective friends of Ageha.

Penguin Revolution [Chapter 24]

On tv, people are raving about Rena’s movie, Angel Fragment as this reporter from a girl’s magazine Just, Oniduka was wondering what the fuss if about. The other reporter says that it is just because Oniduka is a fan of Youko that he isn’t pleased with the adaptation of her life. They wondered what Peacock is doing – laying low lately and the other guy said that they got an invitation from Peacock. At a huge mansion, a guy in a top hat who turned out to be Kaname [the actor who was jealous of Ryou] eagerly greeted them. They were then served by a Japanese looking geisha girl whom they realized was Narazaki. The reporters then realized that the hosts/servants in the place are actually all of Peacock’s actor/actresses/staff all masquerading as other people.

Yukari was thinking that this is the president’s grand plan in preparation of their movie Dream Stairway. The invitation would be their ‘teaser’ on the movie and if they can wow their guests, they will be successful. Yukari was going about in a gown that people are thinking she is cute like a doll. She is a bit uneasy but she says at least not like the others who are muscular but forced to wear a dress. Then, this girl [I don’t recall her from past chapters] who seemed to know Yukari and Yukari got nervous that she might know of her gender. Thankfully, the girl is drunk and is just looking for famous showbiz personalities. She then decided to check out on Ryou. Ryou is on a dressing room trying to get into role. He remembered Yukari telling her of a trick – writing the character ‘person’ on the palm and put that palm on one’s face. When Ryou did that in front of the mirror, he saw the little girl he kept on seeing when he goes on full feathers mode. He goes into character as Yukari opens the door to see the full spendor of his feathers/wings.

Oniduka is looking around as he told the reporter that he haven’t seen Ayaori and then he got a glimpse from a balcony, someone who looks like Youko. As he tries to go after her, the light goes off and on the stage, the president welcomes everyone and that he is going to introduce someone to them. With the spotlight on them, Youko stands beside the president. Everyone was confused for Youko is dead so how could she be there. The president then says that this is what it is like in their movie Dream Stairway. The guests then realized that this is how Peacock would go against Yasouka. The president then says that the lead actress – Youko – will be performed by Ryou. Oniduka was shocked for wasn’t he the new actor in Lion Awards and that it isn’t the real Youko. The real president then comes in and it turned out that the one announcing was Ayaori, who would play the lead male role. Everyone was surprised and were in applause at how good they are in performing their roles. Yukari was happy for they were a success. She happily looks at them and says that Ryou will fly away – he has changed for his wings has become strong. There are others who were surprised about Ayaori being so good that they actually thought that he is the president while others were a bit mesmerized like Oniduka at Ryou’s Youko. And that is how Dream Stairway was introduced to the public.

I don’t like this chapter. It is one thing to cross dress but then I felt that it is another thing to do a woman’s role, one’s mother’s role, actually. For Ryou to do this, I felt that he might be typecast for that role later on and don’t tell me that is why the president has been asking him to cross dress in school – because he looks like his mom. Then, there is that little girl again and I’m guessing either she is a fairy who might have appeared on Youko or she is actually Youko’s spirit. I find it a bit unbelievable but I guess I have to put this series in a bit of fantasy level. ^^; If there is one thing I have to be thankful for this series is that at least Ayaori doesn’t have to crossdress, else, I might just drop this series. Hehehe Seeing Narazaki cross dress doesn’t seem appealing either. Wait, don’t tell me that is all their roles in the movie. From BW forum, the reactions are also mixed from isn’t that too bl or it is cute. One poster asked if Dream Stairway is a love story so would that mean a kissing scene of Ryou and Ayaori. Hehehe I do wonder if this movie would be an ‘all male’ movie. I don’t seem to recall Peacock having female actresses in their stead.

Weekly Jump Update: Naruto, D. Gray-man, Bleach and One Piece

Nothing much happened in Naruto [c. 329]. Naruto is still practicing his new technique but still can’t quite do it until Kakashi showed him his clone doing opposite of the original that Naruto had an idea. While the Akatsuki are trying to seal the Two and Three Tails, Hidan is busy complaining about how long it will take and about the objective of Akatsuki which turned out to be making villages depended ninjas/mercenaries [them], get rich to increase their power and of course, world domination. But of course, each individual member of Akatsuki has their own specific objectives aside from the group’s own objectives. It seems that there will be no Naruto next week.

In D. Gray-man [c. 96], as Kanda walks away, there is a huge cross appeared on Skin’s head as he mutters that he cannot forgive the innocence. He then remembered the time when crosses appeared on his forehead and he asked for help from a priest who took care of him when he is in pain and having nightmares until the Earl and Rhode came to him. The Earl said he is the thirteenth children who have inherited the Noah genes which is filled with hatred of 7000 years and if he also know the truth about this world. He cried with the Earl. The next day, Skin is preparing to leave and made the priest his underling, ordering him to kill all those in the docks where he worked before. From the mirror where he was washing up, there is a figure who kept on repeating, cannot forgive. Back to present, Kanda is heading near the exit but felt he is getting unconscious. He thought that it is because of repetitive revivals in such a short time. As he was bending down, he felt Skin’s power. Kanda couldn’t believe it that Skin is still alive and creating a large electric blast. Kanda prepares to defend but his katana is already battered. Skin blasted the electric blast he made at Kanda. What a cliffhanger and like Naruto, there will be no chapter next week. I guessing either someone saves Kanda or his innocence might also morph just like Rinali’s. From Earl and Skin’s discussion, it does seem that they are the good guys for they have an objective – the innocence did something to them noahs that they couldn’t forgive. Since what it is haven’t been revealed yet so I guess this series will not end yet.

As expected, Nell went to follow Ichigo in Bleach [c. 249] and as his brothers wanted to follow, they don’t know which door Nell went. Somewhere else, Ulquiorra was musing that Inoue is quite a strong and brave woman to even not try to show her fear and immediately pledge allegiance to Aizen. Then, another espada, Noitre was asking about Inoue’s loyalty but Ulquiorra told him not to worry for they made psychological ways to make Inoue think she is doing all this on her own free will and she won’t escape. Ulquiorra also noted that even if things didn’t go Aizen’s way, it doesn’t matter – for he always have a backup plan of some sort. Inoue is sitting on a sofa with Aizen on his seat. She remembered that upon arrival Aizen immediately he has showed her the hougyoku and asked Inoue to help him by using her powers to return it to its original state. To present, Inoue seems to be willing to do it for Aizen as Aizen is smiling while Ichigo is still running forward when someone is behind him. Basing on the foot, it doesn’t seem to be Nell’s so it could be some other arrancar/espada or well, Grimmjow.

And there is another shocking revelation in One Piece [c. 432]. Everyone are still recovering from the shock upon knowing that Garp is Luffy’s grandfather. Luffy told everyone to back off or they would be killed since Garp tried to kill him many times. Garp said that he threw him off a cliff, left him in a forest, etc is so that Luffy would become stronger. Sanji said that he now knows why Luffy manages to pull through in tight situations [from his trainings ^_^]. The two then argue as Garp wanted Luffy and Ace to become marines but leaving them with a friend, they went on to become pirates while Luffy insist that he wanted to be a pirate. Garp said that it was because Shanks corrupted him. Luffy tries to defend Shanks that made Garp angry for not respecting him. Garp was about to punch Luffy as the others were worried that Luffy might not be able to handle it in his condition when all of a sudden, the two fell asleep at the same time. Lol. Then, Garp woke up and hit Luffy for sleeping. Hehe. Outside the building, Usopp with the frog are watching what is happening inside. Luffy now has multiple lumps on his head. Garp told him that there are four pirates are of equal strength of Whitebeard [Four Emperors] are a menace that the Marine government and Seven Warlords [legal pirates] so that there will be a balance to maintain world peace. Luffy says that he doesn’t care about that since they are okay. Robin then asked Nami if Luffy knew Shanks. Nami said that Luffy’s hat was given by Shanks though she didn’t know Shanks is that famous.

Just then, Zoro managed to find the way back with the help of two guys whom he forced to help him. He goes on a rampage on the marines as Garp told the two guys with him to fight. Luffy tries to tell Zoro to stop. One fights with two club-like weapons against Zoro while another is more on hand combat attacks Luffy. The two were quickly defeated by Zoro and Luffy. It turned out the two were Coby and Helmeppo from the time/arc when Luffy first recruited Zoro. They welcomed each other as Garp ordered his crew to fix the wall that he messed up for his grand entrance. While helping fix the wall, Garp said that he learned from Luffy’s father that Luffy and his dad met. Luffy was confused for he seemed to not know he has a father. Garp says that it seemed his father didn’t tell him but his father said he sent Luffy off from Logue Town. They all asked about Luffy’s father as Garp said that it is Monkey D. Dragon, a revolutionist. Everyone including marines were shock that Dragon is Luffy’s father while Luffy was clueless what the fuss is all about. When asked by Luffy, Robin says that Dragon is the leader of a rebellion group which directly opposes the government and Dragon is a mysterious person that even his background isn’t known. Garp then scratches his head as he realized he should have said it and asked everyone to erase what he just said. Everyone then goes on a shock again – for comedy purposes. Hehe So, Luffy’s family is filled with powerful and influential characters. Luffy seemed to have directly inherited his grandfather’s behavior for Dragon doesn’t seem to be like that. There is also a question why Ace’s surname is different unless he changed it. As for Dragon, I guess that is why he helped Luffy for I found the theory about Dragon just being with Roger’s crew that he helped Luffy – doesn’t seem to be a good enough reason. The author is going about the ‘epic’ of One Piece again as it doesn’t seem to be a ‘small’ story but more on politics on the world scale.

Parfait Tic [Chapters 130-131]

Fuuko went down from the ferris wheel as Kagechika was surprised to see her crying. She was about to ask about it but Fuuko just bowed her head and left. Kagechika was then going to shout at Ichi but Ichi quickly shouted it isn’t him [who made her cry]. Kagechika asked worriedly that Fuuko cried that hard. Ichi looks at Fuuko walking away then bends down as he say that they [he and Kagechika] has no luck/not meant for each other. Kagechika was puzzled as Ichi says that it is really vexing for she [Fuuko] didn’t do anything so why is she the one who is hurt. Meanwhile, Fuuko is walking home in a daze..if only it is a dream..if it is a dream...then I’m having a nightmare. Then, a boy bumped on her shoulder, she lashes out at him saying it hurt as the boy quickly apologizes. Holding her shoulder, she says it hurts and this is the only feeling she has now. At home, her sister was going to ask if she is still awake only to find Fuuko just sitting on her bed in a daze. Fuuko asked what is it without even moving as her sister quickly says that it is nothing. Her sister wonders what is wrong though she seems to be texting/calling someone. Fuuko thought she doesn’t want to do anything. Her mother calls her out to eat but Fuuko says that she doesn’t want to. Her mother was going to insist but when Fuuko seemed to be in a foul mood, her mother didn’t insist anymore as Fuuko thought that she doesn’t want to eat. She then imagines Daiya hugging her for becoming so thin. Suddenly, her stomach went growling outloud. Fuuko felt a bit embarrassed as she thought she is hungry. She heard some sounds on her ceiling as she puts her hands on her ears and thought that without Daiya, it really hurts. I’m going to go by spring all alone.

In school, everyone was greeting each other. Fuuko was then met by Mako [friend with light color hair]. Fuuko was surprised to see her new haircut as Mako told her so that she can find a boyfriend by second year. They then went to the school bulletin to see if which classroom they would be in. Mako exclaims that they are classmates. Fuuko was thrilled that she looked up and saw it was true but her happiness turned into horror when she realized that Ichi and Daiya are also her classmates in 2-B. Mako was really happy for Fuuko that Daiya is finally her classmate but she was puzzled when Fuuko looked depressed. As they went to the classroom, Mako was informed about the break up as she also wonders why breaking up when one loves another. Fuuko tells her that it was all because of her that Daiya hates himself and that fact hurts. Fuuko thought that she has not yet recovered from the break up and that she just has to muster all her strength to come to the classroom.

Upon entering the classroom, Daiya was chatting with a student by the door. They saw each other but then Daiya quickly turned away and continue chatting with the student. Fuuko seemed disappointed then she saw Ichi looking at her, sitting on a desk. Fuuko quickly walks and sat beside him. Ichi greeted her and calls her strange. She quickly says that it isn’t strange [sitting beside him?] and it seemed that Daiya is looking at them. Then, the teacher came in as Fuuko thought that it hurts when they don’t see each other but in a situation like this, it hurts more to see that Daiya’s feeling for her has all but disappeared. After the teacher left, Fuuko quickly grabbed Mako and ran away as far as she can from the two cousins. Mako asks her what is the matter as Fuuko says that she wants to change sections. Then someone is asking if anyone has free time, they need one more of a group date. Fuuko then shouted that she wanted to go and is it possible for two people. Both Ichi and Daiya are surprised. Fuuko insisted that she is free so the girl asks if she can call for another guy to join the group date. Mako says that what she did was really surprising for Daiya is still there in class. Fuuko says that even so, she wanted to go..she thought that this could help her forget Daiya. Mako was about to dissuade her when all of a sudden, someone grabbed her arm.

To Fuuko’s disappointment, it turned out to be Ichi for she wanted Daiya to be the one to stop her. Daiya is just looking at her. Fuuko quickly pull back her arm and says that it is none of his business. The girl then asked if everything is alright. Fuuko says that it is and they would go as she told Mako to get her bag. Someone called her by surname..not quite sure if it is Ichi but I’m guessing it is him. Ichi is behind her while Daiya is in front looking at her. Her inner self screams for him not to look at her as she quickly grabbed her bag and took off. Mako shouted for her to wait as Ichi told her to take care of Fuuko. Mako was surprised by his request. Fuuko thought why those the two cousins are looking/giving off uneasy feelings, she didn’t do anything, she is just going on a group date. Fuuko introduces herself as Kameyama as everyone laughs for she is the first girl to introduce herself with only her surname. One boy then calls her Fuu-chan as she thought that it has been a long time she has heard someone call her by that name. The boy then started to hold on her shoulder which made Fuuko uncomfortable. Finally, Fuuko snapped as she slapped away the boy’s hand on her shoulder when the boy kept on calling her Fuu-chan. She shouted that the only person who could call her that is her boyfriend. She then quickly left. [The BW scan uploader locked page 20 and since I don’t have sharing points, I don’t have it. ] Whatever happened there, Fuuko’s mood was a uplifted for the next page shows that she is looking at a girl having her haircut. Mako must have shown her of other things to do since Fuuko says that so there is such a world and that it seemed that it has already been a year since she is ‘into’ love.

Edit: I found the missing two pages. Fuuko ran off as Mako caught up with her. The two girls were out of breath as Fuuko thought that she is really stupid for doing that when she haven’t forgotten about Daiya yet. I think Mako was also telling her that going on a group date, she must put her heart into it. Fuuko told her to go back since she is looking for a boyfriend and yet she is holding Mako’s sleeve. Mako sighs and told Fuuko to apologize on the next day about running away. Then, she noticed that Fuuko was intently looking at a hairdresser fixing up a child’s hair. Fuuko was surprised and asked what it is. Mako laughs and told her that it is a hairdresser specializing on kids since kids these days like to beautify themselves. Fuuko then thought I didn’t know that there is such a world like this for I have just been focusing on love matters.

At school, Fuuko apologizes to the girl who organized the group date for her outburst. The girl said that she was angry at first but it became happiness since with two girls left, they all had fun and became ease with each other [it became a success] so she doesn’t have to worry about what happened. Ichi then came and said that it seems that she has apologized. Fuuko says that it is because of being incompatible in the group date. Ichi calls her stupid for she should have known already that thing [group date] would be too difficult for her but then, Ichi changed that to it would be interesting though. Fuuko then thought, ah Ichi is still here. To her surprise, Daiya calls her [Fuu-chan] and says that he just wanted to talk for a bit with her. He then asked if she is alright yesterday. Fuuko thought that if Daiya is here, she would be then be ‘excessive in love’ [I think she meant that she has been too focused on love and wanted to change that.] Fuuko, with her head down, says that she is alright, don’t worry. Fuuko then looks up and shouted, don’t look down on me, if I were the one acted first/went to that person first, things wouldn’t have been come into nothing. Her outburst surprised the two boys as Fuuko ran away. Fuuko thought, that isn’t right, it is because she was always in love that she has became satisfied with it. Compared to last year’s spring, I think that my fake strength has become a bit stonger. As she runs off, Daiya looks serious while Ichi was laughing as he says, wow.

And so, that’s all the chapters I have for now. With the help of Daiya’s snub when they met at the class, Fuuko was forced to move on though she did a bit of mistake going on a group date when she haven’t recovered from a heartbreak. I think Fuuko doesn’t mean to answer Daiya that way but when he still calls her Fuu-chan, it must have reminded her about being too focused on love which I think was mentioned on the missing page. On the other hand, Ichi seems to trying to pick up where Daiya has left but he isn’t forcing her for now and seems to be going on being friends for now. It does seem that how Fuuko is handling the break up really impresses Ichi. It is hard to read Daiya since he is mostly silent and about the snubbing, I can’t really fault him for it since he might not know how to interact with her after that breakup. It does shows that Daiya is still concerned about her but then, showing it might confuse Fuuko or well, slight her as what happened in the last scene. It seems Kagechika is out of the picture for she didn’t appear since the ‘date’.

Vampire Knight [Chapter 22]

Yagari [Zero’s sensei] bangs on the table of the head? of the vampire hunters’ group as he asked about Zero being sentenced by the upper house of vampires. The head, an old woman says that if Zero indeed killed a pure blood then there is nothing that can be done. Yugari seems to be protesting that Shizuka was in their hit list so why aren’t they doing anything just because Zero killed her. The woman told him that it is the deal? regarding purebloods and if violated, the order of the upper house vampires would be disrupted. Back at the school, the glasses vampire told Zero that they revere pure bloods that they are protected by the upper house so it is appropriate if they punish the one who killed a pure blood especially since it is a done by ‘cheap’ mere human like Zero. That remark irked Zero that he hold tight the vampire’s hand, pushing Yuuki aside as he flips the vampire to the ground. The vampire was shock for Zero just broke his bone. Zero didn’t give him a chance to counteract as Zero punched him down. Yuuki was looks stunned at what Zero did. Zero stands up, breathing hard [he lacks blood?] and says too bad a ‘cheap’ thing [meaning him] can’t be taken down easily. Yuuki was a bit worried as Zero seems to have a hard time breathing. The vampire says that even if he defeats him, there would be others after him for Zero cannot escape the destiny of being sentenced by them. Then, the vampire’s companions arrived and surrounded the two. Zero told Yuuki to run away for this isn’t her concern. Yuuki refuses.

Suddenly, one of the vampires fell down. Night class has surrounded the vampires who were after Zero. They were surprised as Kaname says that the upper house already knows regarding what Shizuka did to the Kiriyuu house. The other vampires quickly bowed down to their knees upon seeing him. Kaname asks if it is really just to protect the ‘honor’ of protecting a pureblood or is it just because Zero was the one who did it. One of them then asks that Kaname withdraws with his class for if he is there, they cannot do their duty. Kaname says that this place, the school,’s name is important to him so they better not ruin it by what they [he called them upper house’s dogs/spies] are doing. The vampire wants to protest but his shoulder got blown away by Kaname. Kaname sternly told them to go. Yuuki must be scared/surprised about Kaname’s behavior that she is holding on Zero’s sleeve. The vampires back off as Yuuki thought that Kaname just saved Zero. Kaname then approaches them and asked if she is alright. Yuuki seems to say that Zero didn’t do anything that warrants such an ambush attack. Kaname touching Yuuki’s face says he understands and told her not to worry. Zero asks what is the reason behind what he did. [Distrustful with vampires as ever =P ] Kaname says that this is something that he cannot overlook for the reason wasn’t stated properly [maybe more on no evidence] that a co-student was sentenced so he has to interfere.

At the head’s office, Kurosu [I’ll use the head’s surname as his name] thanked Yuuki for telling him about what happened. He pats her head saying, good work and sorry for letting you handle such a difficult thing. Yuuki has some tears in her eyes says that the matter regarding Zero is all a misunderstanding and even Kaname went against the upper house. Kurosu then admitted that even before Yuuki, Kaname has already told him that Shizuka is inside Maria and the transfer? is complete but as of now, Maria haven’t woke up nor have the original personality of Maria awaken. Kurosu assures Yuuki that Kaname is reliable..though he doesn’t want to become Zero’s partner..it would be better if he didn’t go against the upper house. Yuuki got worried about it as Kurosu again assures her not to worry for even if he is just a foster parent, he would not just watch aside over what is happening even as he didn’t know about Zero’s younger brother, he still is concerned about it. Even if it is Zero or Kaname, things might not be solved later on. Yuuki doesn’t seem to be listening as she thinks that Kaname didn’t seem tell the assassin’s of Zero’s ‘injustice/hatred’ for it seems Kaname is...In some school building hallway, Ichijou tells Kaname that Yuuki might have realized that the situation with him [Kaname] is changing, what is he doing. Kaname then looks at him and the mirror/picture frame behind Ichijou breaks, freaking out Ichijou. Kaname then apologizes for the power seemed to have overflowed for a while there and not to worry, he would be able to handle it immediately. Kaname is holding his head.

Meanwhile, Yuuki is chasing Zero who seems to be going somewhere. Yuuki tells Zero that Kuruso is worried about him since he didn’t see him. Zero asks her what does she want to say. Yuuki insist that it is true and his wounds are healing slowly than before, so he better drink those blood drugs. Zero without looking at her said that he will. Yuuki then says that she said that Zero is not a criminal and that..Zero then interrupts says that isn’t really true for it was because he fired his gun at Shizuka that she died, althought it is not clear, he doesn’t regret what he did. He is now facing Yuuki as he said this. Yuuki smiles and said that she understands as long as he knows where he stands/belives in for she is Zero’s partner even though she isn’t quite reliable. She is then on the verge of tears, says that she wanted him to drink Shizuka’s blood so that he can be saved. She then realized that what she did is to save Yuuki but in the end, it only causes more suffering for Zero. She then apologizes to Zero. Zero seems surprised then asked Yuuki, what am I to you? Yuuki was surprised by Zero’s query. Zero then told her not to do things for him recklessly again, is he that undependable? Zero then prepares to leave/walk, as he told her goodbye, the wound is pretty much okay already, he is now going to patrol to a certain school building, so she should go to a certain part of the school [circle]. Yuuki was a bit puzzled by what Zero said.

At a certain school building hallway, Kaname was walking then he stops as he asks what does Zero want. Zero is waiting for him at a corner. Zero states that it is him, he [Zero] have wounded that woman and he is Shizuka’s kiler. Zero continues that he heard that the flesh and blood of the pure blood holds great strength if one is successful in obtaining it. Kaname says that it can actually save Zero [cure his blood] and yet he [Zero] didn’t get to drink even if he [Zero] got the first chance to it. Zero asked why. Kaname called him pitiful but then, he is envious of him [Zero] who gets to protect the girl who is beloved to him. Zero was shock then he looks a bit stern at Kaname who glances at him slightly. Kaname walks by and says that today, he [Zero] was injured so good job [ah, that is more like saying good job for what you did today rather than because he was injured] and that it is only now, he [Kaname] is entrusting Yuuki to him [Zero].

Then, a narration says it would be best if this ripple won’t change into something that one cannot turn back. There are scenes of Kurosu wearing his coat as he prepares to leave as he is worried? – mentions Zero and Kaname’s name. Yagari looking dejected as he leaves the head’s office. Ichijou seems to be worried as he thinks of something probably Kaname. Aidou, looking worried/thinking, too as he walks followed by Kain. Yuuki also walking briskly – probably to her duties as perfect.

Things are now moving as Kaname has became to move his chess pieces. I wonder if it is deliberate to go against the upper house by defending a schoolmate as an alibi since Kaname in the last chapter asked something from the other night class students which would be probably to support his rebellion against upper house. I’m thinking it is to be free from their clutches so that he can do what he want and Shizuka’s blood helped him a lot. A part of me also was thinking if Kaname saved Zero there just because Yuuki is there for Kaname seems to be a person who doesn’t care for anyone except for Yuuki. I wonder if Kaname had a hand in picking the students in night class as to who can get in. If so, then he should have picked those who are talented and well, loyal/fear him. When Ichijou was asking about what Yuuki might think of Kaname, I’m somewhat thinking that what he did was deliberate to shut Ichijou up unless putting his hand on head is real. =P Ichijou seems to be worried about what Kaname is doing. It is nice to see Yuuki admitted her mistake – she somewhat redeemed herself in my eyes. She seems to be a bit oblivious of what these two guys [Kaname and Zero] would do just to protect her. It is interesting that Yagari came into the scene, I’m pretty sure he would be protecting Zero for he is somewhat his guardian before. I was thinking why didn’t he took Zero before for things wouldn’t have ended this way. Kurosu is also moving...I wonder if he is going to visit that woman in kimono again unless it was Shizuka. He did brought out an interesting info about Maria – since they are still keeping her body there, that means that she must be someone important/of use. I wonder if the real Maria is more on friendly lonely type [if she is really sickly as Shizuka said before] or genki type. Aidou is a bit of a wild card. From previous chapters, he doesn’t really follow orders but fears Kaname. As I wrote before, he can help Zero but then, unlikely would do so. Lastly, Zero is no fool that he figured things out. I’m guessing that he has seen Kaname’s powers before or just seen how powerful Kaname has became when he showed his powers that Zero deducted that Kaname must have had Shizuka’s blood/flesh to become stronger and he must be her killer. It is proven true for Kaname didn’t deny it. Unfortunately, Zero can’t really prove it for Kaname can just say, he just found a new skill – exploding random objects by telepathy. I must say, it is quite an improvement from the need to using his hand to stab into people. Zero doesn’t seem to be suicidal anymore which is good for he still do the duties assigned to him aside from protecting Yuuki as his side job and he isn’t going to let some random vampires kill him. I do wonder what Zero expects to be Yuuki’s answer to what is he to him. About being surprised about Kaname telling him that he is just Yuuki’s temporary babysitter, I was wondering if Zero was shocked that Kaname also likes Yuuki or knowing that he has a love rival that is if Zero has romantic feelings towards Yuuki. Zero’s reaction changed could be because he realized that Kaname isn’t really keen on saving Zero and well, Kaname has other plans than they all know about. It is interesting to see the contrast between Kaname and Zero. Kaname is highest regard by vampires while Zero is not. Their behavior and attitudes towards self and others. Also, even their appearance is a contrast with dark/white tones. ^_^ Now, which one will Yuuki pick? Hehehe

Ageha was surprised as Yukari immediately hit the glasses guy visitor away. Yukari shouts that the guy is always like that, flirting? with everything he sees so he shouldn’t come near Ageha. The guy says that he is doing it for work. He then introduced himself as Sekiguchi Kyouichi, manager of Villa Ange, a wedding site. It was then Ageha realized that it was her sis’ wedding site. Yukari says that Kyouichi is the owner’s son. Kyouichi then invites her to a wedding museum/exhibit at their place. Ageha asked what it was as Kyouichi then asks her to sit beside him so he can tell her. Yukari, jealous, quickly sits near Kyouichi as he threatens him not to do such things/jokes or else, he would report Kyouichi to their company. Kyouichi tells him to relax and whispers that he isn’t into high school girls. Yukari freaks out as Ageha wonders why the adults there act like that. Kyouichi then explains that the wedding exhibit is when a client would go to their place and they would do a preview of what’s it to be married or looking what kind of packages a certain place has like what would the reception are looks like, gowns, souveneirs, accessories. This would then help them decide if the place is the one they want and they even have fake wedding ceremonies so that the clients would imagine themselves as the couple being wed.

Ageha was excited about it as Kyouichi happily says that he wants the guest to see what a great wedding site their place is so he is now asking Yukari to model for him. Yukari says that he is pretty stubborn. Kyouichi then asks to let Ageha model for him if he doesn’t want for it would help the store anyway. The two argue as Kyouichi finally conceded defeat but only this time, for he will try again next time. Ageha then asked why Yukari is so casual with Kyouichi and she learned that he is actually Ririko’s classmate. Kyouichi then tells Ageha if she is interested, she is most welcome to drop by. Kyouichi then goes to Rosa to see Ririko. Then, to their surprise, Mitsuya appears and says that even if Kyouichi is like that, he is serious with his work. Mitsuya then apologizes to Yukari for he is very much similar with Kyouichi. Ageha asks when the wedding exhibit would be as Yukari says that it would be on Aug 1st, Sunday. He then asked if Ageha wants to go. Ageha admits that she is interested in going. Both Yukari and Mitsuya checks their schedule and tells Ageha that they aren’t sure they can go. Ageha embarrassed says that it is alright and she will go upstairs to work already.

A few days later, Ageha looks for her mobile phone which is ringing and it was Yukari who was asking where she is. Ageha says that she is at home and will be going over. Yukari tells her to stay at home for he is going to pick her up. Yukari and Mitsuya brought her to Villa Ange as Ageha was puzzled as to why she is there. Ageha then saw Maki [her sister’s hairstylist] there. Yukari then says that that day is for the hairstyles and gowns exhibit so, they brought her there so she can look around. Ageha was happy that they brought her there and asked what about work. He told her that they can go back there later on. Ageha thanked him and said that she will do her best. Maki and Mitsuya then whispers to each other that the two seemed quite close as Yukari covers Ageha’s ears for her not to hear them. Ageha then observes Maki doing a hairstyle of a girl. Ageha then told him that becoming a bride is like making a girl into a princess and the hairstylist becoming someone beautiful is really great. Maki said that is why he always tries to do his best so that the bride would be at her happiest. Ageha muses that is the same as what Yukari said before. Then someone who look Zero came in. Ageha shouted Zero’s surname and later found out that it was Zero’s sister, Manyou. It turned out that Manyou is Maki’s wife and is a hairstylist – more on cutting hair and helps in giving Maki ideas as she suggested something different for the girl model. At the ceremony, Ageha was thrilled to see the outcome as Yukari sits beside her at the pews. They then talked about Maki and Manyou teamup and that Manyou got married when she was only 19. Ageha then wonders if she would have such a romantic love story/wedding, too. She then asks where is Mitsuya. Yukari says that he already went back to work and hopes that Ageha would help with the directions back. ^^;

Nothing much to say in this chapter...as two characters are introduce and well, the wedding exhibit will be shown again later on.

Parfait Tic [chapter 129]

[I found a chapter 128 summary [Chinese] but it seems to be incomplete – must be a teaser. ^^; The one who uploads in BW had a problem something about the magazine being with her parents or got confiscated so she skipped chapter 128. I will do a proper chapter 128 when I see/find the scans. ^_^ ]

From chapter 128, the foursome met. Kagechika suggest that they eat together but Fuuko protests. Daiya says that it is okay. So, everyone is eating together at this restaurant and are very uneasy with each other. Fuuko doesn’t understand why Kagechika is with Ichi and why are they all eating together. The two girls then try to make some casual chatter to relax the atmosphere until Ichi asked Daiya, “Why are you two acting strange? [Daiya and Fuuko] It was as if their hands are being pulled [I think he means force to hold hands]...What’s with you? Are you with a girl you don’t like?” That made Daiya perk up. Fuuko sensing that things aren’t going to be good as Kagechika quickly brought up saying that she was the one who asked Ichi out. Ichi then says that he came to disturb/interrupt. After saying that, Daiya grabbed a glass of water and threw it on Ichi as he shouted, you have no right! [no business]. He quickly took Fuuko’s hand and left the restaurant.

Chapter 29 started with Fuuko and Daiya inside a ferry wheel’s carriage/gondola. Daiya is looking outside as if he is having a hard time to say something while Fuuko was puzzled why Daiya told her not to cry. Then, she realized what it is and she thought that she will really cry. Daiya then says that if she cries, he won’t be able to say it. Fuuko looking down then says, then, I should cry. Daiya calls her name as Fuuko, on the verge of tears, she shouted that she doesn’t want to hear it as she puts her hands on her ears. She was thinking that today is a date so it should be a happy day. She shouts that the way Daiya is now and the tone of his voice, she would be utterly stupid not to know that what he is going to say to her is something she won’t be happy about. Daiya then hugs her as he kept apologizing to her as he says that he sould wait for her but he is too impatient and too arrogant/proud so now, he is going to leave her free/single/alone again. Fuuko is already crying as Daiya says that he knows Fuuko tried very hard but he also felt that they had become closer than before. Fuuko tries to say so you..but then, Daiya continues that he really loves her..but..it would only increase his self-hatred. Daiya then drew apart as Fuuko remembers Daiya saying that being with her, he came to hate himself. Fuuko cries as she asks isn’t there anything that she can do. Fuuko kept on weeping as Daiya holds her face and gave her a farewell kiss. Fuuko thought...such a painful kiss.

Kagechika is looking where Daiya and Fuuko were as Ichi is also walking around. Kagechika then emotes about being in an amusement park with a guy for the first time as Ichi says he isn’t interested about it. Kagechika then looks a bit sad and wonders where would they be – a place where they could talk for a long time. As she looked up at the ferris wheel, she quickly pushes Ichi’s face saying that he shouldn’t look. Ichi asked what is it but then, he saw Daiya kissing Fuuko but then, he noticed that Fuuko is sobbing. Ichi quickly ran to the ferris wheel.

Daiya then stood up and says that it would be a lie and he would be pretending if he says that Ichi isn’t the reason as he thought that Fuuko isn’t the reason why they broke up. Daiya then asks is it disappointing? Just then, a worker says thanks for riding, be careful in stepping down. Daiya then left as the worker is puzzled with Fuuko is still inside. She tries to ask what’s up when Ichi went inside the gondola. The worker tries to stop him but Ichi shouted that he will pay after he gets off. The worker was smitten ^^; as Kagechika tries to call him back but can’t get in because of the line. Ichi breathing hard [since he ran all the way there] then sits beside Fuuko as he asked what happened. Fuuko quickly goes to the other bench so Ichi followed her but Fuuko went back to the original bench. It irritated Ichi as he was about to shout at her being stupid when Fuuko shouts that he said, wanted to be single/alone again. Ichi was surprised as Fuuko kept on crying. Ichi sat at the other side, looking defeated/stunned. [Guess he didn’t expect Daiya to do that.]

Somewhere, Daiya is walking alone when some girls tried to flirt with him but Daiya turned them down saying that if only he can fall in love with ordinary girls with them, things would have been better. The girl then blushed and asked what he means as Daiya walks away. At the ferris wheel gondola, Fuuko is crying her heart out as Ichi kept silent looking out. Fuuko thought that a farewell kiss makes it painful to breathe. The heart charm in the bracelet is lost...I’m hugging really tight... like a child crying aloud...with no shame, my heart yearns for Daiya who is no longer here/in sight.

Poor Fuuko. For her first year of high school, she cried really hard for rejection/heart broken for three times already. So, it is back to square one for her. If I were her, I would be traumatized with the two cousins that I would not let myself fall in love with either of them again that easily. I don’t quite understand Daiya’s reasoning and I do wonder if it was revealed in chapter 128. Maybe he hates himself for not being able to trust Fuuko or he hates himself for being jealous so it would be better to separate early before things get messy later on and well, their relationship becomes stronger that it would be harder/more painful to break up. Unfortunately, Fuuko being dumped twice by the same guy doesn’t bode well for Daiya for Fuuko might not give him another chance. He could have kissed his possible romantic relationship with Fuuko goodbye even if he really does seem to still love her. It does seem that Ichi has grown a bit ‘thick faced’ and well, now willing to do anything to get the girl he likes after regretting letting her before. He doesn’t seem to happy what happened and well, who would if you see the girl you like heartbroken and in tears like that. But then, this gives him a chance to win her heart again. I guess telling Daiya what really happened regarding Fuuko and Ichi [possible kiss] isn’t going to help anymore for if Daiya acts that way on something he doesn’t know the truth, what more if it is true. Ichi does seem to be the bad guy here and well, Daiya x Fuuko fans would must hate him now but Ichi x Fuuko fans would be rejoicing. Honestly, when I read this, I was thinking, what the heck is the author thinking, prolonging the love triangle but then, I guess she plans to make the series longer. So, everything is back to square one and then, they are now in second year by next chapter.

V.B. Rose [chapter 18]

[Since I’m updated with most of the series except Parfait Tic which is missing chapter 128, [would you guys want 129-131 even if 128 is missing?], I plan to write summaries of V.B. Rose from volume 4/chapter 18 - up, Zombie Loan vol 4-5 and if it is uploaded, Silver Diamond vol. 9 in the meantime while there are no new chapters for the other series in Chinese scans. ^_^]

It is already summer vacation as Ageha comments that time sure flies fast that she is already in her second year high school. She is eating lunch? at a hamburger fastfood chain with her friends – Mamoru, Shizuya and Zero. Mamoru noticed that Ageha seems to be in high spirits. Ageha says that it is because of work as she cheerfully thought about Yukari praising her work and it is suitable for their shop. Shizuya then says that Yukari is hard to get along with as Ageha stresses over it but then, she counteract by saying that Shizuya’s beloved brother would be there so there is no need to worry. Mamoru was very happy for Ageha to have able to counteract Shizuya. While Ageha and Shizuya are in an argument/word fight, Zero asks who Yukari was as Mamoru told him. Mamoru then thought that she would want to cheer for her brother Ryuu [who likes Ageha] though. She then told Ageha that Ryuu is lonely and would want to see Ageha. Ageha quickly agrees to go shopping with Ryuu and Mamoru for Ryuu is cute and would do girly things [shopping] – this is to get back at Shizuya who thought Yukari and his brother being girly since they make wedding dresses. Mamoru then thought that things would be more fun rather than just make Ageha easy to get by Yukari. Everyone then makes plans for bowling. Shizuya and Ageha are still challenging each other. Shizuya then threatens to make Ageha cry until Mamoru glares at him about what he said which made Shizuya retreat. Ageha then bids them goodbye since she is going to work.

At VBR store, Yukari and Mitsuya told her to go with them to Rosa Store [the main store]. It seemed that a certain store sends them the wedding dresses wherein the ladies in the store would test them out to see which they would sell. Ageha drools over the wedding dresses. Ririko then came and told Ageha to try out one of the dresses. Ageha was delighted to. The other Rosa ladies tried out some of the dresses as Ageha told them that they all looked pretty. The three women then took Ageha in and helped dress/doll her up as one of them says that Yukari is really nice. It seemed that they took notice that Yukari ‘likes’ Ageha that they dressed her up and when one of them asked about being hugged. Ageha blushes that everyone wanted to ask about it. Yukari got impatience and what was the fuss about so the three women pushes Ageha out for them to see her. When she came out, Yukari was speechless and was just standing there, staring at her that Ageha asked him if there is something wrong. Mitsuya has to hit Yukari’s head to snap him out of it as Mitsuya says that Ageha looked great on it. Ageha then went to Yukari and told him that she feels what customers feel when wearing the wedding dress and she would want to thank him for letting her wear one. Yukari blushes a bit and then, he asked for a camera as he passes by Ageha telling her that she looked pretty. Ageha blushes for it is her first nice memory that summer. Later on, Ageha was nervous being photographed that she was shaking as Yukari asked for Mitsuya’s help.

The next day, Ageha was a bit depressed over her goof off [hard time taking a picture] yesterday. Upon entering the store, she found Yukari arguing with a certain person to take work seriously. Yukari then saw her and told her to come in. The glasses guy guest then suddenly says while holding her hand that he didn’t know there is such a person like her in that place. He then asked if a beautiful girl like her would want to wear a cute wedding dress.

Hehe, planned to do this by the volume then decided that doing it by chapters would be easier and not that much pressure to finish an entry. =P As of now, there are 49 chapters. I somewhat have a feeling that by the time I catch up, the series might be finished by then. ^^;; Anyway, this chapter introduces another character and soon there would be more of Yukari x Ageha moments. It is nice to see Mamoru quite protective of Ageha. I hope that later on the author might do a side story about their past like how they met and why Mamoru is quite protective of her. It is fun to see Ageha and Shizuya still ‘quarrelling’ with each other like children. =P Haha, it is quite fun to see Yukari stunned at seeing Ageha on a wedding dress. He doesn’t know that he is fast falling for her. Hehehe I like Ageha's outfit in that last scene. ^_^

Ayaori comes out of the car as his bodyguards/managers tries to shield him from the reporters who were asking about the article regarding his father being responsible for Youko’s death. At school, Yukari’s are reading about it on the magazines while a girl is watching it from her mobile phone [3G?]. One of the girls says that they [people] shouldn’t make a big deal about it since Ayaori isn’t his father. Yukari then goes to her and hugs her. Yukari then leaves thanking her. The other girl says that Yukari must be in Peacocks’ side. After dismissal, Yukari thought that news about Ayaori’s father has been the talk of the town and that Ryou went to Yasuoka company is because of this. Then, she noticed Ayaori walking ahead while talking on the mobile phone. She wondered why he was there when he had a shooting in the morning. She asked him about it and he said that it got finished early so he is able to go to school. She asked about his work in the afternoon. He replied that since they knew about the gossip, it got cancelled. Yukari then realized that the scandal is quite grave that it affects Ayaori’s work schedule. Then, someone calls her on her mobile phone. The president’s secretary Mochizuki told her that she can go home and not go to the company [probably because the reporters are there, too]. So, Yukari informed Ayaori about it and then she heard his stomach growl.

Yukari then treat Ayaori with some taiyaki [fish shaped bun with filling] with red bean paste filling. It turned out that Ayaori haven’t eaten lunch. When asked how it was, Ayaori replies that it is good. Since they are near the video center, Ayaori asked what a certain booth was. Yukari replied that it is a purikura [photo sticker booth] and they went in to take make pictures. Then, they played an UFO catcher/toy crane machine, a video game and sang in a karaoke booth where one can record them into cds. They had fun and even passed by some of Ayaori’s lipstick?! ads, as he was a bit embarrassed. Then, Ayaori’s stomach growls again so Yukari grabs his hand and says that near their house, there is a grilled fish store. Ayaori was surprised that she was holding his hand. Then, they passed by two boys who were talking about Ayaori’s[actor] scandal as one said that it is irritating that such a guy is a famous actor. Yukari stopped as her hand is shaking. They said that such a good looking guy would actually have such a past/skeletons in the closet and that Ayaori would probably be like his father. Yukari got angry that she smashed/hit the wall [it actually cracked] and glared at the two guys. The two guys asked what’s with her as they quickly left while Ayaori is holding Yukari back, patting her head then holding her face. Yukari then blushes as she realized that Ayaori is holding/embracing her from behind. Ayaori told her to calm down and she should think too much about it for it is the truth. He then let her go as he walks away. Yukari was surprised with what he said that she shouted his name. It made some girls look around if the actor is nearby. She continued that there are other people who likes him and that she also likes him. Ayaori looks back at her and said, really, thanks. Yukari then blushes as she realized what she just said. Ayaori said that it is late so they should go. Yukari apologizes for calling his name outloud. Ayaori says that it isn’t a bother since it could also be a name not a surname.

At home, Ryou [in girl uniform] was surprised at the things that they brought back from the arcade. Ayaori and Yukari says that this are gifts for him and even some food. Ryou thanked them. Yukari asked if Ryou is hungry, he should change while she cooks something for them. Ayaori is busy eating another taiyaki. Ryou then hits Ayaori on the head as he said that he is the president of the school/class so he should be doing some work and not leaving everything to him. He is irresponsible that he even got Yukari to play/go out with him. Ayaori apologizes. Then, Ayaori was confused as Ryou was suddenly silent and looking at him. Ryou said it is enough for it seemed that Ayaori had fun playing so it is okay. Ayaori then thought..have fun playing..he then remembered Yukari and thought that Yukari’s hand is small, and strong but then, soft. Ayaori then pauses and thought again, soft? Then, he smiles and opens the television while going in to change his clothes.

In the news, a reporter was announcing about the press conference of Yasuoka company to introduce Ayaori’s cousin into showbiz. Shuuji and Rena were sitted as the press were asking questions. Shuuji introduced them to Ayaori Rena. Rena stood up and greeted everyone but she wasn’t pleased that the first question was about her being Ayaori’s cousin and what is the truth. Rena masked it by smiling at the press and told them that while young, she already understood Ayaori’s situation. It doesn’t matter if they lived far away from each other before, but since they are relatives, they took Ayaori in. She even remembered playing dolls with Ayaori. Someone then asked about Youko and she said that she will tell the details about it later. Another reporter asked why Ayaori is now currenly in Peacock. Rena says that since she was young at that time, she doesn’t understand what is happening. One day, the president of Peacock came and then took Ayaori away. When Ayaori left, I’m very lonely and was very worried about him. Later on, he reappreared as an actor in showbiz, I was relived and yet a bit angry and around this time, Yasuoka company has discovered my talents and I want to also go into showbiz to try my luck. I will try my best and hope everyone would support me. An announcer then says that the movie that Rena would appear in would be ‘Angel’s Fragment’. Everyone was surprised for it turned out to be the live story of Youko. Shuuji says that it depends on how they think of it and that they are confident that Rena would be able to portray the role. At peacock, the president was watching the telecast. He called out Mochizuki and says that they are also going to do a ‘tribute’.

At home, Ryou is busy changing channels. Ayaori sits down with him on the sofa and asked if there is anything interesting on the tv. Ryou says there is nothing good. Then, Ryou said that he wasn’t able to stop it. Ayaori then put his arm around Ryou’s neck and tells him that he [Ayaori] already knew that one day, all of it would come back again to haunt him so he [Ryou] doesn’t have to blame himself for it. Ayaori then remembered someone [Rena’s father?] calling him a jinx/bad luck and Ayaori thought that it seems what that person said is true. Ayaori then says that at least he can breath a sigh of relief [since it is all out in the open already]. Ryou then askef if Ayaori haven’t concede defeat. Ayaori then removes his arm and says, yes as he nodded. Ryou then smiles and as he says, is that so. Ayaori was surprised as Yukari, holding a bowl of salad found them being close to each other – Ryou rubbing Ayaori’s head as Ayaori seemed happy/blushing. [It seems that rubbing of head is like cheer up, I here for you.] At the Peacock company, the president apologized for recalling all of the managers from the field for the emergency meeting. He told them that they, the Peacock, has been challenged and so he wants everyone’s cooperation/help. He then unravels his secret plan as he removed a cloth from the blackboard. On it, it is written ‘Dream Stairway’. He says that they will fight back with Youko’s movie and whether high or low, they would not lose to Yasouka for they would come up with the best ‘tribute/offering’. Everyone was excited about it as Yukari was a bit surprised when mentioned about ‘peacock’s strength’ for in the movie, both Ryou and Ayaori would be in the cast.

The first half of the story deals with effects of the scandal and Yukari trying to cheer Ayaori up by going to an amusement park. Is it the start of a love relationship? Maybe but then, Yukari did surprise herself when she shouted she liked Ayaori. I think Ayaori didn’t misunderstand her since his reaction was quite casual. By the end though, he was noticing that Yukari’s hand is soft. Don’t tell me he haven’t realize that Yukari is a girl. ^^; It also shows how powerful Yukari is that she smashed the wall. The trio did seemed to have gotten close all these time that they protect, defend and cheer up each other when the one is in trouble. So far, no serious love interest hence no jealousy. Yasuoka’s revenge on making a movie on Youko’s life is quite good. By making a movie, it can make everyone somewhat believe that is the true story and I’m sure they would portray Peacock as the villain and along the way, destroy Ayaori’s reputation. Ayaori can’t quite defend himself since he is portrayed as the ‘bad fruit’ and so Rena can quite invent the things that never happen how she was actually nice to Ayaori when they were young when it is quite the opposite also why Peacock president was the one who took Ayaori in. I’m not quite pleased with Peacock’s counterattack since it seemed a bit corny. Is the purpose to make the movie’s reputation to be so good that Yasuoka’s movie won’t be a blockbuster hit? That is if it would be shown on the same day. Maybe it is to show that Ayaori and Ryou are good friends even if Ayaori’s father caused the death of Ryou’s mother. Now, things would be fun if Narazaki is included in the movie. ^_^

Weekly Jump Update: Bleach, Naruto, D. Gray-man and One Piece

In Bleach [c. 248], Inoue is surprised that her friends came to rescue her. Ulquiorra had her swore her allegiance to Aizen. After breaking down the wall, Nell told the others that they should have gone to the door which takes three days to reach. Ichigo then told him that they aren’t friends so they don’t have to go to the door and they can’t waste time going there. Ichigo thanked them for taking them there and bids them goodbye or else, they would be dragged in with them. Nell and others chased after them as he shouts that they are already called traitors since they are already seen and Aizen might have seen what they had done so leaving them would be like letting them be killed/sitting ducks. Even if they were forgiven, the espada won’t let them go easily. Nell then started to cry and calls Ichigo names that Ichigo was forced to bring them along. While running through the wall, Renji tries to show off by making a ball of light but he failed for it was pretty small. He got teased as they cross the wall and found themselves in a room with 5 doors.

Ichigo then told Nell that they really have to separate there for the ‘strength’ of the ones inside the doors are quite powerful. Rukia wanted for them to separate while Ichigo wanted for them to go as a group but Rukia got to convince Ichigo otherwise, saying that she isn’t there to be protected by him and that actually insults her fighting abilities. Renji then started a little pep talk about returning back again alive as they put their hands together and went on their separate ways. It’s typical shounen to separate ways in fighting. I can see Rukia’s sense and it does seem that they are pressed for time but then, I can also understand Ichigo’s reason though not about protecting Rukia but then, as a group, wouldn’t be finishing an arrancar as a group much faster than going on separate ways? Anyway, the main problem is the rescuee unlike in Rukia who is resided to her fate as punishment for what she had done, Inoue has joined Aizen’s group and she doesn’t seem to be the type to break her word. I have a feeling that Nell won’t stay put and hopefully, he and others would follow Ichigo. Hehehe I’m thinking that leaving them there won’t be good even as going with them isn’t good – seems to be a matter of wanting to see Nell and others get harm or not. But then, tagging with Ichigo would be fun. Hehehe

Hidan and Kakuzu left after being ordered back in Naruto [c. 328]. Shikamaru and others try to revive Asuma but Asuma told them that it is useless. Finally, realizing that Asuma is dying, they listened to his last words. To Ino, she told them to take care of the two boys for she is more responsible and not to lose to Sakura in fighting and love. To Choji, Asuma commended the strength of his friendship with the others and to try to diet. Lastly, to Shikamaru, he praised Shikamaru’s skills that he can become a hokage but then, Shikamaru likes to complain so it isn’t likely. He then told Shikamaru about the king he told him while playing shougi to protect. Asuma asked for a last smoke as flashbacks of team ten are shown [from their first meeting to Asuma happy that they all became chuunin. And finally, Asuma dies. It started to rain as Shikamaru tries to smoke as they all cry for their sensei. Last scene was of Kurenai, looking at her garden..I think Asuma has been courting her. Okay, so all those hints of death came true and well, Naruto would be shouldering for their resto bills as promised.

In D. Gray-man [c. 95], the room where Kanda and Skin are fighting has started to collapse. Both noted that they have to finish the fight quickly. Skin says that the entrance is destroyed and only the exit remains, which one of them will remain alive. Kanda says it would be him. Skin says that he is quite naïve as he fries Kanda with his electricity but Kanda kept on reviving. Skin decided to fry Kanda’s neck to cut off his head but then, Kanda used his katana to slash through Skin. Skin realized that Kanda deliberately had himself electrocuted to melt his innocence so that it would work on his body. The innocence inside Skin has started to deteriorate his body. As Skin kneels down, Kanda is still standing as he asked Skin who was spreading the lie about Noahs being immortal for all people die if they are humans. Kanda then walks away as Skin says that Noahs can’t die. The last blurb says Skin is still alive but Kanda’s innocence has deteriorated. Mm..would Kanda make it to the exit? Until next chapter. Oh I noticed the mark on Kanda’s chest which revives him, I think his revival would end if it forms a complete circle. That isn’t good.

It is the aftermath of Eneas Lobby fight in One Piece [c. 431]. Zoro was looking out the sea as he is a bit worried about his damaged katana [1/4 of it remains and it was the one given by the seller of swords]. Paulie has been ordering people around on fixing Water 7 as everyone were happy that Galley-La were helping out. Franky family were also building their house as they were happy that their giant sea bulls would be okay after being checked by Chopper. Some people wanted to talk with the Strawhats to apologize for accusing them of trying to kill Iceberg. The giants are helping in the rebuilding as they plan to go back to their country and asked Usopp to go with them. Usopp’s answer wasn’t revealed. At Iceberg’s place, Iceberg told Franky about his plans to make Water 7 float. Franky was surprised about it as Iceberg says he can make it possible just like what Tom did. Franky says that he is becoming like Tom then Franky got a call that the shipment he was waiting for has arrived. At a temporary place, Kororo visits the Strawhats. Sanji was serving food, Nami is depressed while Luffy is eating while sleeping since he doesn’t want to miss any meals while resting after a fight.

Nami was depressed that all their stuff are gone and it would be useless even if their log is finished in a few days. It turned out that the people actually confiscated their stuff when they were accused of being assassins. Nami was really happy to get her orange trees back and that they have the remaining money to continue their journey. Just then, Chopper and Robin came back. Chopper reports that he went to check on the Franky family and kept an eye on Robin as Robin says that she won’t leave again. Nami told them about the good news that their stuff are back when Franky and gals came in. Franky told them about a certain tree called Adam which remained even after a war in that place and rebuilding took place again. He just bought a part of that tree using the money he got from them. The Strawhats were angry until Franky told them that he is going to use it to build their ship just what Tom did for Roger and that it is the same material as Tom used before. Everyone was then happy about it. Outside, Zoro has been running, wanting to warn the others, unfortunately, he is lost. ^^;

It turned out that marines came led by Garp [the one in the cover story who took in Coby and Hem-something.] Everyone tried to stop them but Garp kept on walking in. It was noted that Garp was the one who corned Roger many times before. Garp then ordered two of his men [probably Coby and Hem-something] to guard the door as he enters. Garp smashes the door/wall and asked if they are the Strawhats as he announced that he wanted Luffy to meet some people. Everyone tries to protect Luffy who is still sleeping but then, Garp slipped pass them and hit Luffy on the head really hard. Luffy then screams in pain about it as Sanji wondered why would Luffy be hurt by a punch since Luffy is rubber. Garp told him that it is because it is the fist of love. [Title of the chapter and ya, a bit corny]. Garp then removed his doggie hat and told Luffy that he made quite a commotion. Luffy is now awake and he turned out to know Garp, he called Garp grandpa. Everyone was shock by the revelation and so am I. That was quite a surprise for who would have thought that Luffy’s father is actually a marine, not just any marine but a vice admiral. That was quite a surprising revelation. No wonder Aokiji knows him. I wonder who would be the ones he would want Luffy to meet – Coby and Hem-something or someone else. It was noted that Garp’s scar somewhat resembles Luffy’s scar. Did Luffy made that since he looks up to his grandfather but then, Luffy seems to be scared of him. I wonder if Usopp would go with the giants. It’s nice to see how Tom’s apprentice are following his path – one for Water 7 and the other making a ship for a soon to be famous pirate. Anyway, next chapter would be something to look forward to and the color spread this time is nice, Robin is quite sexy, Chopper is cute and Luffy is well Luffy. The cover of Jump has Luffy wearing Roger’s coat. He really is on his way to become Pirate King.
