I write about the manga that I read , the anime/tv shows that I watched and somtimes, the PS2 games that I played. I tend to summarize them so beware, this blog is filled with spoilers and they are not 100% perfect. Feel free to point out my mistakes. Occasionally, I would blog about myself and other misc. things. ^_^

    I finished watching Peach Girl anime. It is not that good but then, I guess not that bad. I don’t quite like how Momo kept on going from Touji and Kairi back forth more than once for it seemed that she doesn’t know whom she really likes. I felt like she tends to think that she owes one guy for protecting her, he is the one for her. Of course at the end, she settles with Kairi. Sae’s problem seemed to be solved quite abruptly. I guess the author wanted to cut the story short already. ^^; There are times when the animation is not good and I don’t like Momo and Sae’s outfit at the last episode. While watching this, I realized that I’m hoping that Parfait Tic won’t end up like it as in Fuuko better than switch to Icchi anytime soon for no concrete reason but then, there is no Sae in this series.

    I had already watch Blood+ up to episode 6. It is still good. They have went in the secret lab to rescue Saya’s ‘father’ unfortunately, he came those monster and he has to die with the use of Saya’s blood. Good thing that Kai was there or else, there would be another episode on angst of Kai blaming Saya for failing to rescue their father. I’m amused about Haji though. I thought that huge case of his has some weapon aside from his cello but it turned out that it is indeed just a cello case. In a secret compartment, it keeps Saya’s sword and I guess, maybe his. I wondered why they have to bring that thing when they are going to save George when its purpose was just getting Saya’s sword. Haji didn’t even bring it during their infiltration perhaps a shield or something. I was thinking that they should have just left it back rather than bringing it there and it might get wrecked.

    About the anti-US, ya, I guess it is there since they are blaming the production of the monsters on the US and they tend to appear in wars and well, came from Okinawa. I’m thinking that they are using/controlling them to speed up the conquest for something. The next episode preview if a bit on reflections of Saya and a bit of Haji.

    In Bleach [chp. 204], Rukia was no match for Grimmjow who managed to hit her and she haven’t even realized it. Rukia had already noticed that he is too powerful but then, asking Ichigo to retreat would be useless for he is going after Grimmjow. Meanwhile, Ikkaku and the other arrancar are still fighting with Ikkaku at the losing end. Yumichika is reporting to someone about the situation there and that the arrancars are quite powerful than they had expected. The last scene was Ikkaku releasing his bankai. Mmm..in such a short time, they have all been powering up. I’m beginning to assume if 3rd seat Ikkaku has a ban kai, could the other vice captains also attained theirs or he is just a special case being at the 11th division?

    While in One Piece [chp. 390], everyone are still heading up but the Franky family + frog are getting beaten up by the executioners. Just in the nick of time, the giants has arrived and tossed Sogeking up to join the others. Meanwhile, Zoro is lost as usual so he decided to just destroy the ceiling and climb his way up. An executioner is about to attack Nami and Chopper when they were caught up with Zoro’s attack on the ceiling. At the roof, Luffy shouted back if Robin really wanted to die and Robin says yes. One of the CP9 wanted to attack Luffy but Spandam wanted to hear what Luffy’s reaction. To his shock, Luffy was just picking his nose as Luffy asked what is her problem. ^^;

    Luffy told her that they are already there for they have decided to save her so if she wants to die, then go on ahead. The floor got destroyed as Chopper and Nami came up. Zoro also came up as Nami was angry that Zoro almost killed them. Sanji then came destroying the floor and was shocked that Zoro got there ahead of him. Sogeking came flying up to them. Luffy continues that he doesn’t care if she wants to die or whatever she wants to do after so just come back with them then say what she wants. The others cheers on for her to return as Robin got a bit teary eyed. Luffy ends his speech that they would handle the rest after that. Nice. ^_^ So typical of Luffy. I was counting the members of CP9 and Luffy’s group – it is really a one-on-one per member fight minus Robin. I’m guessing that it is just fitting for Franky to be the one to beat up Spandam. I hope that next chapter I get to know who vs whom. ^_^

    Come back and we'll handle the rest

    I watched a couple more of Blood+ episodes and it can be quite intriguing that I’m currently downloading the rest to know what happened. It seemed that Saya is a special being who can use her blood to ‘kill’ the vampire monsters which explains that weird curve on her sword. As of now, she is still unawakened. About the anti-US base sentiments, it is indeed in this anime. The dead teacher’s body wasn’t released by the military since it involves a military personnel as suspect. It somewhat reminded me of what is happening now here regarding the visiting forces agreement, wherein a girl was said to be raped by 6 US militarymen. There is a suspicion that they would get away with it.

    In Karin [ep. 3], they realized that Karin is attracted to people who are ‘unhappy’. She still avoids Kenta and in the end, realized that Kenta might be unhappy because he doesn’t have money for lunch. Her friend had given to Kenta Karin’s obento. Karin then decided to make one for him, I guess. ^^; While in Guyver [ep. 14], they still haven’t escaped. I do wonder if they are trying to get away from the mountain or the enemies just kept on catching up with them. ^^; Sho couldn’t use his guyver anymore for some reason and the guyver 3’s attacks aren’t useful so the shades guy have to resort to his power but ended up unconscious since it uses too much energy. He then tells them the history of the enemy. That would be interesting if only understood. Anyway, I have a feeling that the enemy has cameras all over that forest for they can see everything the good guys are doing on their monitors. ^^;;

    I’m now trying to finish up watching Peach Girl. This can be quite addictive when you get into it, like any shoujo manga/anime – the usual love/hate relationships. I’m still fond of Kairi’s va and Sae’s insane laugh. So, from Touji to the Kairi, Momo is now having problems with Kairi’s former crush. Sae has now got bored with Touji that she has her sights on Kairi’s brother who is as manipulative as her or even more.

    I finished watching Samurai Champloo the other day. It was okay but just like Aquarion, it has really some silly boring fillers that I pretty much skipped through it. The end was quite ironic for Fuu actually indirectly caused the death of her father whom she was looking since the journey started. It seemed that her father was a Christian rebel and was haunted by the government. The government followed them to where her father was and had him killed. Jin finally had closure over the reason why his sensei tried to kill him when he learned who ordered it.

    The writers just invented something for Mugen since his past was resolved earlier. They just had some people whom Mugen attacked before as a sea pirate, wanting revenge. Of all the episodes, I like the filler on Jin meeting this woman who wanted to commit suicide but he convinced her otherwise. He then felt responsible for her fate of becoming a prostitute as payment for her husband’s debt that he helped her escape. It was really nice and side by side with a Japanese rhino beetle fight. I showed the fight to my nephew who is into beetles lately.

    I watched the first episode of Blood+ yesterday. The first scene was somewhat like Vietnam wherein there are monsters, military and this lone woman who are killing everything in sight. Then, it is on this girl, Saya, who seemed to be anemic that she has to have a blood transfusion. I don’t think she is that anemic if she can still do some sports. Maybe the writers didn’t know that there is now an injection if one isn’t that anemic like me. She seemed to be more active than me though. ^^;; Haha..maybe because she gets transfusions.

    Anyway, that day, Saya forgot her shoes at school so she went back to get it. Then, a monster killed off a teacher. She tried to escape and saw the guy she met earlier who was playing a cello. He tries to make her drink his blood but I guess the poor girl is freaked out when she saw his hand that looked like a monster’s. He then forced her to drink it by kissing her just when her stepbrother came in. The celloist reminded me of the guy in Witch Hunter Robin. ^^;; I got interested in this so I guess I’ll watch a few more of it. According to a randomc blog, there is a bit of anti-US sentiments in this anime especially since the setting is in Okinawa.

    Monday, November 14, 2005 @ 05:23 p.m.

    I forgot to watch Guyver again last Saturday so I guess I would just have to record the midnight rerun on Thursday. I do want to know how they will escape. Yesterday, I played with my nephew who has left here while his parents have gone shopping. Later that night, my parents have a wedding party to attend to so I decided to go with bro and nephew at church.

    After that, we ate at his house. I got some take out food. The Japanese restaurant that we use to frequent suddenly doesn’t taste good. Is it because it was take out or because they are trying to ‘save’ money that the food didn’t taste that good like before because of expensive ingredients or they have a new chef? Anyway, I spend the night assembling this model robot, which is like a rip-off of Gundam. My sis-in-law helped a bit. I’m surprised that I actually enjoyed assembling it. ^^; Bro said that it is no challenge since it can be easily assembled. That toy was for my nephew. He is into beetles lately – mushi king and now, gundam models. He was influenced by his classmates.

    Later that night, we picked up my parents. We were stuck in a bit of traffic and it was quite scary at that area. Drunk men are walking by. Some boys are sniffling over rugby. Then, we saw an abandoned knapsack on one of the pillars of the bridge. My bro teased that maybe it is a ‘tick-tock-tick-tock’ ^^;; My father’s face grew a bit pale. Anyway, we managed to leave the scene in piece and maybe someone just forgot it.

    When I arrived home, I saw one of the flowerhorn, lying on its side. I somewhat freaked out thinking that it is sick or something then I realized that the lights must be off the whole time. I could have been sleeping. Well, it seemed it was for it is fine today. Whew. Another jolt today was while computing, my computer freezes and shows up a screen about ‘internal power error’. Baka me, I freaked out that it might be a virus or something that I restarted it without reading all the instructions. ^^; The technician said to observe it and call when it happened again. The computer is fine again, for now. This is now the second time it has happened.

    In Emma [chp. 46], Emma managed to earn a bit of money in the new place while William has been telegraphing people if they saw someone who looked like her. Someone responded. William and Hakim arrived there. Luckily, William managed to catch a glimpse of Emma and they went on a chase. Emma only stopped when a branch slammed at William and he was injured. Emma apologized as the two make up and try to decide what to do next, I guess. The little girl who got Emma’s clothes now has William’s hat. Amusing. Mm..that was a fast resolution. Good thing the author didn’t drag the search for Emma too long actually, this story is a bit fast paced quite different from the anime.

    In Fullmetal Alchemist [chp. 53], Bradley told Roy how he came to be. He was trained as a candidate to be ‘king’ and among the others, he was the only one who survived with the infusion of ‘wrath’ philosopher stone. Somewhere underground, Al met Gluttony’s father and was surprised that it looked like his father. The rest of the chapter is about how Ed and the others got out of Gluttony. Ed realized that someone wanted to be ‘god’ and transmute himself or something. I don’t quite get it. ^^; Anyway, Ed will try to transmute himself into himself and use the ‘people’ on Envy as sacrifice. Ed opened the gates and while there, he managed to find Al’s body. He/it won’t come with him since he isn’t his/its spirit so Al have to go there by himself. Ed promises Al’s body that he will come back for him. He nodded as if he will wait. Okay, I put ‘it’ since well, isn’t it suppose to be just the body? Who is the one in it? Al’s body has grown thin and his hair is long. I wonder how it survived that long. ^^;; They all managed to get out. Al was pretty happy that Ed survives that he almost squeezed him to death. Ed then wonders where they are and then was surprised to see his father. Well, if it is his father for he looked a bit old here and I somewhat don’t think it is the same person. Mm..I feel as if the story is going to end soon with all the revelations happening though there are the other 7 sins who haven’t shown themselves like pride.

    In Skip Beat! [chp. 78], Ren was surprised when Kyoko gave him the jewel. Kyouko confessed that she saw him a bit sad inside Lory’s car so she wanted to cheer him up. She asked him to put the jewel to the sky. Ren was a bit stunned but did as she said as she thought that it was the same thing before except their roles are reversed. Kyoko then told him that it is magic for the stone will make his sadness disappear. Kyouko got all excited about it that Ren remembered that she was like that before that he couldn’t help laughing which irritates Kyoko.

    You don't believe me?

    Kyoko then decides to tell him a top secret regarding Corn’s identity. She told him that he is a fairy. Ren kept on suppressing his laughter as Kyouko is getting irritated that he isn’t taking her seriously. She continues that Corn is a fairy prince. Ren was cannot believe that she actually still believed what he had said when they were young. He almost laughed again. ^^; She told him that she saw him fly for a short while. He couldn’t fly because his father would destroy his wings when he tries to fly away. Ren’s expression became serious. Then, Kyoko then tells him that since it is already 10 years ago, Corn should be able to fly high now.

    Ren was a bit skeptical about it but Kyoko insisted that if it is Corn, he can definitely do it for he was born to be king. Ren smiled and thanked her. Kyoko was surprised and Ren told her about the stone that she can get it back for he is okay now and it is her most precious treasure. Ren thought that he doesn’t have to depend on the stone anymore for he has found a magic he can rely on. He then remembered that he somersaulted in frong of young Kyoko, which made her think he can fly. She was holding a test paper so I assume that he did it to cheer her up. Ren then thought that he actually found that magic a long time ago. He then kissed the stone.

    Kiss, thanks for the magic.

    Kyoko was surprised when she saw him did that and was a bit stunned. Ren has to bring her back to her senses by calling her name and gave her back the stone. As Kyoko accepts the stone, she had a premonition that something bad will happen if she accepts the stone back. Ren then told her that they ought to go back since they haven’t eaten yet. They had lunch as Kyoko thought that one day people with see Ren’s magic when the ratings of their new drama surpass the old one. Everyone gets ready back to work.

    Everyone back to work!

    That was such a nice chapter. ^_^ I wonder if the premonition Kyoko felt was about falling in love which she promised herself not to do. Anyway, it would be fun how she would react when she learned that Ren is Corn. I wonder if the author will draw the scenes of Ren and Kyoko acting together in this drama or the next chapter would be a new arc. This one has been pretty long but pretty important. Anyway, the author is going to take a break so I guess what happens next would be a bit of a long wait.

    Thought of the day:
    Magic is believing in yourself, if you can do that, you can make anything happen. ~ Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

    Saturday, November 12, 2005 @ 05:56 p.m.

    Nothing much happened in Bleach [chp. 203]. Ikkaku is pretty much still fighting the arrancar. Yumichika has arrived and I guess he easily defeated his enemy. I wonder if he used that ‘energy sucking’ technique on his opponent. Well, it seemed that the arrancar that Ikkaku is fighting has realized that Ikkaku is a tough opponent so he decided to release his zanpaku. Ikkaku looked surprised. I didn’t remember the names of the enemies here yet since I think that they might not last long like the one against Rukia or even Yumichika. ^^;;

    In One Piece [chp. 389], the marines told Spandam that Luffy is standing at the other building. He was surprised to see that Blueno was defeated. Luffy then took some time out to eat the two pieces of meat in his pocket. I guess his level up consumes a lot of energy. Because of the commotion, Franky told Robin that he knows that they wanted to save her but since they are here, they could still save themselves if she goes with them. Franky then tricked Spandam and the marines to think that he has a time bomb in his lower body. He just used the gas to propel them near the balcony.

    When Luffy saw them, he proceeds to stretch himself so that he could fly to them but Robin’s expression quickly changed as she told him to leave for she didn’t asked them to save her for she has already decided to die. Franky was angry over what she said and calls her stupid but he was then creamed by Kaku. The other CP9 has arrived as Spandam rejoices. Luffy looks a bit determined while Robin’s face is somewhat darkened and well, I’m guessing that she still plans to save them as long as the buster call isn’t made.

    What's your decision on this, Captain?

    I’m wondering a bit about Kaku’s devil powers. I don’t quite understand the scene but was his power was elongating of his nose when he lies like Pinocchio? ^^;; It was mentioned before the devil powers can sometimes become a liability. Robin’s outbursts pretty much reminds me when Ichigo was saving Rukia in Bleach. ^^;; Unlike Bleach though, the author plans to put the climax as a battle between all members of the two groups. In Bleach, only Ichigo and Yoruichi made it to the last battle scene. Anyway, I wonder what Luffy’s response to Robin. It would be interesting.

    In Parfait Tic [chp.110], Fuuko tries to cover Daiya’s eyes to prevent him from seeing the scene but the way she covers it, Daiya can see. ^^;; Icchi was angry as to what she is implying and the two are shouting at each other. The other girl, I’ll call her sempai, quickly covers herself and explained to them what happened. Fuuko then used her hairpin as a substitute for the broken button. Fuuko tells her that they should all forget what happened. Then, sempai starts to freak out again about them not really forgetting it and might be thinking of it at night which weirds the trio out.

    What's your problem?

    Icchi then shouts at her to stop things about such things for it makes them like the harrassers and it is making him uncomfortable. Sempai was surprised by his outburst as Daiya punches him for shouting. Daiya then comments that she is pretty and intelligent. Fuuko got a bit jealous. Then, Sempai told him that he is lying then apologizes for it seems that whenever people says something, she tends to twist it for the worse. Then, she continues with her paranoia monologue as Fuuko thinks that sempai is fun to tease. Icchi then asked them what they wanted and they told them that they want him to tutor them. They couldn’t understand how Icchi teaches them that Icchi gets frustrated so sempai offers to help.

    Stupid morons!! Why can't you get it?

    Fuuko got distracted by sempai’s chest size and begins to fear that Daiya might not like her since hers is smaller. Then, she realized that she isn’t listening to the explaination. Icchi praised sempai for Daiya something understood but sempai started to freak out then he told her that he is commending her. Fuuko apologizes for Icchi as she tries to tell sempai that Icchi is just like that – likes to scold at others. Sempai then observes them as Icchi and Fuuko tried to out talk each other.

    After tutoring, I think Icchi told sempai to not take it to heart what was being said or was it to have more confidence. Anyway, Icchi told her that she is already 2nd year. Then, Fuuko told him not to talk that way. Sempai observes them again then saw Icchi stops a bit as Fuuko lectures to Daiya perhaps to teach Icchi some manners. Icchi glances at Fuuko then blushes. The next day, Fuuko’s mind is still polluted about her chest size and asks Daiya to forget about seeing sempai’s chest. Daiya caught on and teases Fuuko that he can’t forget it even if he wants to. Then, they saw Icchi with sempai. Daiya pointed out that it seemed that sempai has copied Fuuko’s hairstyle from yesterday. Fuuko was a bit surprised. Mm..it seemed that Fuuko got herself a copycat. I guess it is natural for her who doesn’t have self-confidence to copy someone [Fuuko] whom the guy [Fuuko] she likes? is interested in. I guess sempai has caught on that Icchi still likes Fuuko.

    Copycat?!

    In Karin [ep. 2], Karin made Kenta promise not to tell the bloody incident before she passes out. Kenta then cleans the bloody mess and carries her home midway since Karin woke up and ran away. The next day, Karin is absent. I think her parents reprimanded her for what had happened and her sister called up someone. Karin then discovers that Kenta would also work at this restaurant with her. She managed to restrain herself. Then, she got a visitor, a male vampire?, I’m not sure if he is her brother or something. I got the volume of the tv low since my mom is sleeping.

    Anyway, he seemed to have a proposal to her to help his girl who is related to Kenta. It seemed she is a victim of sexual harassment and they try to help her. She and that man got laid off? since she accidentally opened the mic at the grocery for everyone to hear that the guy was trying to take advantage of her. When Kenta learned this, he tried to find her. Karin and her brother brought the girl to the park and Karin beat her. Her brother then ‘erased?’ her memory. They quickly escaped as the sexual harasser came. I think he tried to make her apologize or maybe do something again but because of her ‘excess’ blood courtesy of Karin, she powered up and punched the guy so hard that he was unconscious. ^_^ Kenta saw everything. Behind the trees, Karin’s bro watched everything as Karin sleeps. I guess Karin becomes unconscious whenever she ‘pukes’ out the blood.

    SiH has released chapter 3 of Vampire Knight already. There are still no new Chinese chapters. I browsed over the Hakusensha’s Lala site to check on the mini previews they have. The next 2-3 chapters from chapter 9 are about Kaname and what happened in the past between him and Yuuki. This month’s chapter would be about Yuuki and Zero facing a vampire and I’m assuming it was the one who bit Zero. I don’t understand Jap and I just used babelfish to translate. There will be a color spread for this month’s issue.

    I have browsed over Zombie Loan vol. 5. The first half of the book is about Shito being saved by the others. It was fun to see Chika teasing him. Chika still want to force Shito to say his name. ^^; They managed to finish off the mad scientist unfortunately, the other guy killed off the little girl whom Shito tried to save. The second half of the book is about them celebrating Shito’s return. They had a party, a mini-race and went to karaoke. Meanwhile, their boss went to some place and met some strange people. The place is a bit futuristic. Then, these people crash on the karaoke bar and propose something about an Alive-loan. Ah, would that be to make them alive again? I missed some important stuff during the discussions of the groups behind them. My brain shut down when there are too many explainations. ^^; Hehehe...and I still don’t know what the zombie loan is all about. ^^;;;

    Trio complete again in vol. 5

    Bro and his family came back the other day from their vacation. They bought me some manga and stuff that I asked for. Some aren’t bought because they were way expensive after converting the cost to our currency. I got the loot just yesterday. I spend the day reading up Skip Beat!, the only manga I bought.

    I watched Guyver ep. 13 and the worse that I thought of has happened. Shou’s father got kidnapped again when they tried to escape. The others thought that Shou is stupid for going since obviously it was a trap but then I can’t blame the kid. His father had single-handedly raised him up. But then, if someone got kidnapped by enemies who loved mutating people into monsters, the chances are quite slim for them not to be ‘playing’ with the hostage. They managed to easily rescue Shou’s father but then, he got mutated into a monster. Shou didn’t want to hurt him and ended up getting his head slashed. I’m guessing that the suit can move on its own to protect the person inside and well, it killed off Shou’s father.

    The others are protecting by the guy with sunglasses. I’m not sure what his agenda is though but seems he has telepathic powers and can also transform in some sort of being but it is unstable. Unfortunately, his telepathic powers are weaker than the enemies who are controlling the monsters and well, Shou’s father. The next episode would be pretty much how they all escape. I guess it was foolish of them to try to hide out near the enemy’s base. ^^;

    Gintama has been licensed so no way of knowing who Elizabeth was in the next chapter since the scanlation team has immediately dropped it. I found some Chinese scans but they skipped from chapter 14 to 40 so no way of knowing it either. The English scans are up to 20. Anyway, I found the cockroach chapter funny...boy, are they huge. I just browsed over them..lazy at reading since they are in simplified Chinese.

    D. Gray-man is suspend for a couple of weeks since the author was said to be sick. Hopefully, she/he gets well soon. I finished watching Honey and Clover anime. It is indeed a nice anime and made me feel a bit nostalgic. The ending is left hanging though but then, it is nice since Takemoto managed to confess his feelings to Hagu. I do wonder if they would make a continuation when the manga is over.

    I have downloaded Emma manga. The anime did add a lot of things that aren’t in the manga but it was still good anyway. The ending in the anime where they met was not in the manga. The story continues with Emma finding William again just when stupid Willaim proposed to Eleanor. William tried to break the engagement and unfortunately for him, his parents as well as Eleanor’s parents tried to get rid of Emma. Around chapter 45, I think, Emma got shipped to America. She has decided to forget about William and move on while William with Hakim tries to find her.

    In One Piece [chp. 388], Luffy showed off to Blueno his new powers. I don’t quite get how Luffy did it but it seemed like he is using steam? from his body to hit Blueno. Blueno was quite shocked over being hit and in the end, even if he tried to attack by surprise, it was useless for Luffy had defeated him. Luffy felt tired for it seem his body couldn’t quite keep up but he didn’t care for he doesn’t have any more time.

    Blueno vs Luffy: Luffy winner!

    Everyone else still continue moving forward. Usopp with the giants and the ship carpenters are moving onward. The girl twins are going to the respective towers to open the bridge. The frog is stopping more marines from entering the court as the frankies are fighting with the three head judge. The other straw hat pirates are also moving on ahead. It seemed that Spandam panicked for he wanted to deliver Robin and Franky to the gate even if the ship is not yet ready. He taunts them but he was later on, shaking in fear as Luffy shouted from outside to Robin that he will get her back. Robin looked a bit hesitant about it while Franky is glad that he is now here. Outside, Cororo observed that whether they die or live after this, Luffy’s name would be known throughout the world after this. I wonder by the time when Luffy rescued Robin it will be like before when she didn’t want to be rescued and Luffy rescued her anyway. Hehehe

    While in Bleach [chp. 202], proxy Rukia is pinning down Ichigo when Rukia found them. Ichigo learned that Rukia’s zapankou is a snow type and produces white things. A contrast to his own which is black. It was revealed that Rukia was suppose to have a seat but Byakuya asked them not to give her a seat to protect her. Then, their discussion was cut short when they were found by Grimmjow who challenges them.

    Meanwhile, Keigo went for some late night shopping when suddenly there was a huge explosion. He was surprised to see Ikkaku there. He realized that Ikkaku was a shinigami when the arrancar gloats about easily defeating a shinigami. Ikkaku then gets a deal with Keigo that if he succeeds in protecting him, Ikkaku can stay at Keigo’s house. Keigo got scared and agreed. Ikkaku asks for the arrancar’s name but it won’t give him since he is going to die soon. Ikkaku lectures him that it is etiquette to introduce oneself to know the name who would kill him. Ikkaku then introduces himself as the one who would kill the arrancar. I guess next chapter would have Ikkaku and this arrancar’s fight. Keigo won’t be lonely anymore. Hehehe

    An observation on Parfait Tic last chapter. It seemed that the author might be trying to introduce a new character to have Icchi have a partner, too. It somewhat reminded me of what happened in Fruit Basket when Tohru is more or less paired off now with Kyo. The new character seems to have very low self-esteem though and a bit weird. ^^; Anyway, I wonder where the author would direct the story now for there seemed to be no new problems for now except pairing Icchi with someone.

    Yesterday was finally over. Thank God, I managed to do bro’s job with no major mistakes. ^_^ He is on vacation with his family so I would be the one handling his business this week but since there are only two working days, I managed to survive it. ^_^ And of all days, Zombie Loan volume 5 is finally out. Wangyou isn’t quite updated anymore and I got this from Waau. I’m still downloading it.

    Parfait Tic [chp. 109] is also out. Fuuko’s friend began to realize that it was wrong for her to shout like that at Fuuko. Icchi got pushed away by the other friend when Icchi asked what was her problem. ^^; Outside, Daiya managed to comfort Fuuko as he told her that her friend won’t hate her if she understood Fuuko. When she won’t stop crying, Daiya kissed her hand. Somehow, it cheered Fuuko up and she went back to class.

    Stop crying kiss

    Fuuko and her friend apologized at the same time. It turned out that her friend was just embarrassed since she got dumped while Fuuko already got a boyfriend. Fuuko hugged her friend and told her it is nothing to be embarrassed about. They already make up already while Daiya lectured his friend that he should have told him earlier that he already liked someone else so they wouldn’t have had that triple date.

    Later on, Fuuko and Daiya are trying to study together but in the end, it was no use since both of them couldn’t understand the subject so they decided to ask for help and obviously, they meant Icchi. At the class council meeting, Icchi had just dismissed the group but the secretary decided to stay on since she isn’t finished. Icchi decided to wait for her to finish as he sits down then the secretary outburst that he didn’t have to do that and was he implying that she is slow. Icchi was surprised by her outburst as she quickly stops as she realized what she said. Then, she apologized and wonders out loud if Icchi was thinking that she is not appropriate or something as a secretary. Icchi tried to protest that he did not.

    The girl then surprised that she was talking nonsense again and apologized. She backed off but somehow, went out of balance when she hit the chair. Icchi grabbed her to prevent her from falling but he pulled too hard. ^^; Her coat got pulled that the button bursted open and reveals her underwear. It made the two beet red from shock and embarrassment. To make matters worse, Fuuko and Daiya arrived asking Icchi to help them with their studies. Lol. Now that is an embarrassing moment. I wonder if this would spread around and ruin Icchi’s reputation. Hehehe

    Ichi's most embarrassing moment

    I watched Karin [ep. 1] last night. This is pretty much just an introduction to the series. They have a new student whom Karin has a crush but it makes her vampire powers go crazy. She bit a businessman on the way home and the new student saw her. Her father is henpecked while the mother is like a socialite. Her younger sister is like a gothic Lolita type with many dolls and well, always carries a puppet. The last part is Karin tried to avoid her new classmate but he noticed it that he tried to approach her. They ended up at the stairs and in the end, Karin couldn’t hold it any longer, blood went bursting al over the stairs. Weird, that it didn’t get on the new student’s uniform but then, I’m wonder who would clean up that bloody mess. ^^; The author of Midori days must be the same for Karin since the lead male looked like the guy in Midori days.

    Tuesday, November 1, 2005 @ 11:48 a.m.

    Before going to the grocery last Sunday, we went to have lunch at this restaurant, Via Mare. Niece said it is good and unfortunately, I ordered the wrong food or maybe this restaurant’s food isn’t too my liking. Since I’m not in the mood for oily food, I ordered congee and it seemed that Filipino congee taste different than Chinese ones. ^^; I think they put too much vinegar on this one or something that at first, it tasted good but then, after eating a bit of it, it is sickening. The food isn’t cheap here either. Since there are a lot of people here, I guess, it is just me.

    We went for dessert at Bizu. I again made a mistake of ordering a safe choice. I should have gone with my gut feeling of ordering the ones, which are fewer at the counter. ^^; I got a mango cheesecake. My mom got a tiramisu. My niece got this small cream puff on a brownie. The cheesecake has this some sort of aftertaste that doesn’t sit well with me. I tasted the tiramisu and it was really delicious. I guess mascaporne cheese really does matter. I should have ordered the other dessert..the ones that looked like they put the trouble of designing as if they are hotel desserts. Niece ate all the cream puffs and mom made me taste the brownie. I can’t say it taste good since I don’t like the bitter taste in chocolates. The restaurant is full even if it is expensive. They tend to serve hotel-type of food. A 1 serving cake ranges from 180+ to 200. Pretty expensive so it would be best to choose a delicious one.

    Today is All Saint’s Day so my parents went to the cemetery. As usual, there is a brief rain shower on this day and well, I just stay at home. Also, today, the tax on energy and oil products will be imposed. Mom said that prices on basic goods has gone up since she went to the market yesterday. This is week is filled with long weekends that for this week, only Wednesday and Thursday have work. Most people are taking advantage of having a whole week off with their families and that includes my brother. So, I would have to handle his business for that two days. I’m wishing that they should have made it a whole week no work. ^^;

    In D. Gray-man [chp. 68], the ship was sinking and Miranda wondered why for she is still invoking. She then noticed a chain on her disc and it hurt when she tried to remove it. Titler told Rinali that the sink has sunk and soon they will see the darkness underneath. I’m not sure what he meant. Then, Rinali noticed that she is covered by a chain.

    Rinali in trouble

    Titler told her that it is his power. I think it is something of sealing one’s power when they got touched by the Titler or something. Anyway, Rinali tried to break free but Titler quickly attacked her to stop. Rinali can’t fight as Titler punched her as he pushed her into the water. At the headquarters, Komui had a bad fall and wondered if Rinali is okay. The last scene was Titler giving a title for Rinali. My Chinese is bad so I think it is something about darkness and a girl. Mm..I don’t think Rinali would die just yet much like the possibility before of Rabi getting killed a few chapters before. Rinali is all wet again and she just took a bath. I do wonder if the next chapter would still deal on this one or it would go back to Allen. I guess Allen won’t make it this time unless the Asian group has any teleporting device. I also do wonder if the other exorcist’s innocence were sealed.

    In Skip Beat! [chp. 77], Yashiro told Kyouko to go on ahead and eat while he wait for Ren. When Kyouko told him that she will wait for Ren, too, Yashiro teased her if she wanted to eat with him. Kyouko went into scary mode as she told him that she is just doing it since he is her sempai. Yashiro told her not to overreact. They got interrupted by another actress who asked for Yashiro’s video recorder for Itsumi wanted to see the scene. Kyouko then tries to examine her feelings and thought that Ren or anybody who tried to seduce her would have reacted the same way. She calmed down after realizing that she hasn’t fallen for him.

    She decided to search for Ren and found him at a huge flashy limo with the Lory. Lory told Ren that Ogata decided to use that scene for the drama even though Ren just did it to show off to Lory that he can do the role. Lory then told him that it seemed Ren was forced to unseal his true self for this role. Ren then got a bit tense. Lory told him that he should learn to forgive himself and he did ‘it’ just to save himself. Kyouko then saw this sad face of Ren and she was somewhat affected by it. More like sympathy/empathy, I guess. Anyway, Lory told him that the role would help him and that if he ‘unseal’ his former self that he sealed when he came to Japan, he can do it better than the actor who did the role before. Ren became surprised. Then, Lory noticed Kyouko walking around outside.

    Kyouko's figure 8

    Lory snickered that it is like a bee calling out its friend and realized that she was waiting for Ren. Lory then got a huge shock when he saw Ren’s face as he exclaimed that it was Kyouko whom Ren has fallen for. Ren tried to deny it but Lory showed him a mirror to see his own reaction and Ren was also shock as he tried to calm himself back. ^^; The author didn’t show/draw that face though, I guess it is a case of leave it to the readers’ imagination. Outside, Kyouko realized something and ran off.

    Lory at first didn’t think that Kyouko is a good match for Ren but then, after a little thought, he said that it is for the best and that Ren still thinks that he doesn’t deserve happiness. Ren went outside as Lory observes him from the inside and talked to himself about Ren actually doing the role in real life. Ren was looking for Kyouko then found her running to him, holding something. Kyouko asked him to hold out his hand and he did. She put something on his hand and to his surprise, it was the sapphire which he gave her when they were young.

    Something for Ren.

    I do wonder what was that thing that Ren did that was unforgivable. Anyway, the next chapter would be fun as to how Ren would react for Kyouko just gave him that sapphire which was suppose to ‘cheer’ her up.

    I got dsl installed yesterday. It is a promo of 1k bucks per month with a contract of one year. Because of the price, it is obviously slower than bro-in-law’s as in 3x slower. I think I got spoiled by his speed that I felt that this one is quite slow though is faster than dial-up. I decided to take over the pending downloads I have from him since he isn’t downloading for me anymore for he is busy.

    I almost weren’t able to sleep last night as I’m tempted to open the computer to download but bro told me that I have a year to download everything so I don’t need to rush. Sometimes my greed gets the best of me. Anyway, I would just use this time to watch already the anime I already got to make space for the new ones. I already got Sousei no Aquarion OST downloaded from bro-in-law the other week. Lucky! I really like this soundtrack even though Aquarion isn’t finished being subbed. My favorite song is Michelle which seemed to be like a song in Honey & Clover but then, every song is really nice even the bgm. ^_^

    In Bleach [chp. 201], Ichigo told Sado to retreat. Sado wanted to fight with him but when Ichigo told him that he will take care of it. Sado decided to follow him though he was obviously hurt by what Ichigo said for he wanted to fight side by side with him. Sado ran and just passed by Rukia. Rukia then decided to handle Deiroy, the Arrancar as she used a pill to transform into a shinigami. Ichigo was surprised that Rukia already regained her shinigami powers back. Rukia’s replacement, the Chappy variety turned out to be super genki that Ichigo was thankful that he got Kon.

    Attack of genki proxy Rukia

    Then, Deiroy attacks but it was fended off by Rukia. They exchanged introductions and Rukia revealed her zanpaku, White Snow?. It created a circle on the floor and started to freeze Deiroy. Deiroy quickly jumped up as he gloats that she couldn’t get him when he is up in the sky but Rukia told him that everything on the circle/sphere up can be frozen. It did freeze him. I wonder though if that is enough to kill him though. Rukia is back to form when she first appeared in chapter one and much powerful now.

    This is Rukia's zanpaku special skill.

    There is a colorspread for One Piece [chp. 387]. It is a joust between Luffy and Zoro with Chopper looking ahead. This chapter started with Spandam telling the three headed judge to beware of the Straw Hats but his warning was too late for they are already in the courthouse. The Frankies told them to go on ahead as they would cover their back. They started running and a funny incident of Zoro getting lost but it is a good thing Chopper told him of the right way before he get far. The Frankies then wondered if they are the ones who are going to rescue their boss. Hehehe The judge tried to attack them but the Frankies pulled him down as they told the others that they would handle this one.

    Back to Blueno and Luffy fight, Luffy finally managed to stop the revolving door on his face to stop revolving. They fought and it is pretty much a tie. Then, Luffy stopped and told Blueno that he won’t continue being like that anymore. He told Blueno that he has decided to be stronger to be able to protect his comrades. Even though some of them aren’t that strong, he still wanted to be with them. If he isn’t strong, he won’t be able to protect them. He then bended his knees and his shins bended too as smoke started coming out off his body. Luffy then told Blueno that he isn’t a match for him anymore for he had some sort of leveled up his martials skills to 2. I like Luffy’s speech there. I wonder how he has powered up.

    Luffy's level 2 power-up

    I have finished downloading some Getbackers volumes that I don’t have around 25-31. Starting volume 30, the covers have changed from the usual Ban and Ginji to feature the other characters. They are really pretty. The artist must be giving his all since the series is going to end. The characters were also given new outfits – more on winter clothes than the summer clothes before. Nice. The latest arc is they are going to get back Himiko and Ginji’s mom. I wonder who she is. Kadzuki is out to get his friends back from her arch-enemy former ally. Well, almost everyone is here for the finale.

    I watched a part of Trinity Blood [ep. 24]. A part because with only 10 minutes for the episode to end...the signal of wowow on my tv went dead. ^^;; Anyway, what happened was the airship is still bombarding the place. As I guess Tres poured the liquid on Abel’s coffin and revived him into this black thingie. Cain came and it turned out his form is an angel. He flew to fight Abel who is in devil form. Then, that’s it. I guess I’ll just wait for a blog to summarize on it to know what happened. Hehehe..obviously, I’m a bit bored with this series. ^^;; Well, that’s the last episode, the replacement is Karin. I think this is about a vampire who pukes the blood into people.

    I kept on forgetting to blog about the detective conan movie I watched last, last Saturday. The title is Detective Conan: The Magician of the Silver Sky and it features Kaitou Kid. Kid leaves a note that he will steal a jewel from this actress. The first half is about Kid teasing Conan by pretending to be Shinichi – Conan’s real identity. In the end, the stealing of the jewel during the play was a flop so Kid escapes. The next half gets them on the plane wherein the actress mysteriously died. I have pretty much guessed who is the culprit and whom Kid is disguising as. ^^; It turned out to be the make-up artist who has a grudge on the actress.

    The finale was getting the plane to safely land at this port since the pilots have accidentally got poisoned when the actress visited them. It is a lesson for pilots not to entertain passengers – being a gentleman got them almost killed. Ran managed to land it with the help of Conan’s pep talk and Kid getting the police to line up to lit the runway. As usual, Ran has dismissed her confession as nothing for she thought it was just Kid who was giving him the pep talk. Overall, it is okay but not that good as compared to my two fave Conan movies – The Last Magician and Crossroad in the Ancient Capital.

    And, I have finished Shadow of Destiny. I got D ending. It was a pretty short game and I guess I have to play it repeatedly to get the whole story but I did figured out that Ike was who alchemist would be in the future when he mentioned about wanting to be young again. For D ending, it seemed that the homoculus had tricked Ike into bringing events to make it created and the one who tired to kill him was the alchemist’s son who didn’t want the homoculus to be create and would rather use the philosopher to revive his deceased mother. I got a bit stuck at my second playing as I forgot where I got the basement key before. ^^;; This game is okay though well, it is short.

    Oh ya, my uncle has already left. Wow, one month passed quite quickly. He will be going to Taiwan for a week to visit a friend then return back to the US.

    In D. Gray-man [chp. 67], Bookman protected the disc while Rabi and Crowley tried to attack the akumas in the sky. Suddenly, there was an earthquake and then something pulled in the ship in the sea. ‘Titler’ [since he likes to put titles] was about to go into the sea but Rinali came and asked him what he did to the ship. They fought then Rinali stepped on something. She is then being pulled into the sea as titler told her that they will not see light again. I guess Rinali’s dream is really coming true.

    Takumi easily finishes off his opponent in Initial D 4th stage [ep. 17-18] because the opponent isn’t good at breaking. The opponent then called off some goons to beat them up. It turned out that the goons are former buddies of Keisuke. Hehehe The next episode deals with their break while Keisuke’s car is being fixed. Takumi is still figuring out how to outrun his father’s car after getting a hint from their opponent that it is the driver’s skill especially at breaking that is important aside from the car itself.

    Keisuke dropped down the ‘bomb’ on Ms. Darling that he doesn’t like to date anyone until Project D finishes. He sure knows how to crush a girl’s heart. He brought her out for a drive then a dinner then told her about his past then told her that he doesn’t want her cheering for him for he is distracted. Ouch. And well, it isn’t fair to her. She can only request that she would sit at the passenger car as he shows off his driving skills to her using his brother’s car. Hehehe The last scene was his car was fixed and they are preparing for their next battle. It was noted that it has been a year since Takumi started driving so I guess from 1st stage to 4th, only a year has passed.

    Monday, October 24, 2005 @ 10:08 p.m.

    We went out for lunch yesterday with my uncle who would be going back to the US on Thursday. We walked a bit at the mall then stayed at sis’ house then went out for dinner again but this time together with bro’s family. We went home early for I have to go to Nii this morning.

    Mom wanted to accompany me this time to Nii so we used the pick-up. For the first time, the security guard at the hospital asked where we are going. I think he thought that we are going to deliver something. Hehehe Anyway, there is a free lipids test today but I already got that checked and I have already eaten so too bad, I can’t avail for it. After around 2-3 hours wait, it is finally our turn. Nii would change the toxic medicine to a new one. Actually, it isn’t really new but the old medicine that I took before but in a new and improved version. At first, I didn’t recognized it but after surfing the net, I realized that it is the new improved version of cellcept – myfortic just from the generic name which I memorized before. I also knew about it since I read it from the newspaper.

    I’m currently watching Samurai Champloo. The main reason I got this is because the reviews said that the actions scenes are really something. It is okay though I don’t quite like the art. It isn’t boring so I guess I’ll watch this. I like the seiyuu for the two lead guys. It is nice to the ears though as the reviews said, the lead girl is the annoying factor here. She bosses them around and tends to be a damsel-in-distress type of character. The easy going ‘stupid’ one has the seiyuu for Zoro of One Piece. The other one is more like knowledgeable. They wanted to kill each other but got interrupted by the girl who hired them. She ‘hires’ two vagabond samurai to find a samurai who smells like sunflowers. The episodes are episodic which is good since a couple of files got corrupted. Hehehe I’m just at episode 5. Lately, they are just wandering around and helping people in the towns they stopped over as they look for money to continue their journey.

    I got my blood test today and the results aren’t that good so mom wants to go to Nii this Monday. The crea is .08 higher than before and even though I don’t eat that much fatty foods nor have a sweet tooth, my cholesterol and blood sugar is a bit high. I’m thinking that it is because of the medicine. Well, for the cholesterol, I’m sure. I got my calendar for next year from the foot & mouth painters association. We kind of support them by buying their products, well, just the calendar and some Christmas cards. I’m really amazed that they can draw/paint without using their hands.

    I’m still watching Guyver even though I still don’t like the monsters look nor do the bad guys’s look. It has become a bit interesting as in it makes me want to know what happened next. Poor Shou. Ever since he found that armor, his life has been a mess. The villains now target his father and friends to get that armor back. The monsters, which are basically like the monsters in sentai series – animal based, had power up. Anyway, I managed to follow the story more or less even though it is in Japanese.

    In Bleach [chp. 200], everyone was doing their own thing. Ichigo and Rukia are arguing about her sleeping arrangement. Renji was stalking Urahara’s store. Ikkaku and Yumichika are talking about the onigiri that they bought. Rangiku and Inoue are enjoying dinner while Hitsugaya is getting hungry. Then, Grimmjow’s group decided to move out and kill any people with potential powers. Everyone immediately sensed it. Ichigo quickly asked Rukia about it and told him that there are 6 of them arrancar/allankar. Ichigo got worried when one of them is heading Sado’s way. Ichigo managed to arrive on time to stop one from killing Sado. Everyone else pretty much have one to be busy about. The only one unaccounted for is Grimmjow. I wonder who he is going to target.

    Shinigami vs Arrancar

    I had finished downloading the available Chinese scans of Parfait Tic. Continuing from chapter 100, Daiya had an accident. I got worried if the author would use it to make Daiya physical damaged or worse, amnesia. Thankfully, she didn’t for she just used it as a way to show that Fuuko came to like Daiya when she ran up to the hospital, not knowing that there is a bus. It is also funny that she confessed with everyone listening in. Hehehe Then, there is a little Valentine’s day. It is pretty cute that Daiya was expecting to have one. Icchi even teased him of getting one. It turned out that Fuuko decided for them to share the chocolate ice cream. As thanks, Daiya playfully licked Fuuko’s face of cream. As usual, Fuuko freaked out and Daiya got all embarrassed. Hehehe

    Can I taste you?

    Icchi became class/school? President. Then, Fuuko and Daiya had a triple date with their friends by going bowling. Back at school, Fuuko was spying on Icchi who just turned down another girl. I don’t quite understand this scene in chapter 108. One of Fuuko’s friend likes one of Daiya’s friend while the other one wasn’t like, I think. Anyway, Fuuko tried to play cupid by asking Daiya that they have a triple date again but when she told her friend, she got shouted at. Fuuko felt really embarrassed about it that she quickly went to tell Daiya that the date is off. Daiya noticed that Fuuko is not happy about something when she tried to run away so Daiya grabbed her that Fuuko quickly shouted, “No!”. Daiya let go surprised and Fuuko immediately apologized. Daiya told her that he knows that she is sad because she is covering her face. The scans ended there though I think that there is more to that chapter since there is no ‘to be continued’ at the end of the page.

    The brownies I baked yesterday turned out okay as in it isn’t waste for it is edible. ^_^; I made half recipe of the icing and it was quite enough for the leftovers for bro took some home without the icing. I had planned not to make the icing if they are too sweet for my parents to eat but then, what the heck, I did it because I want to finish it.

    In Trinity Blood [ep. 23], it turned out that they killed off Abel. Ah, so that is where that Esther on a casket pic I saw before. Anyway, this episode is no fun. Cain and this other vampire has started to destroy the city with the use of their airship. Interestingly, Cain is taking a bath while the other guy is sitting, watching the destruction. I think he should have more companions based on the novel pics I saw before. Anyway, the people are in panic so Esther came to somewhat console them. It reminded me of this local movie of Sister Stella. ^^;; Catherine gave Tres a container of liquid and I’m guessing that it is perhaps to revive Abel or something. There is a lady on the tube near where she got the container. Then, the other priests – the one with the pipe and the ex-prisoner rode on a car that changed into a plane. That was really corny. They flew to the airship and Catherine? airship tried to attack Cain’s airship but Cain’s has a force field.

    I have a feeling that the next episode would be the last. I have a feeling that the novel is way better than this. Anyway, I might as well finish watching this series to at least know if they would indeed revive Abel or not.
