The chapter started with Loki whining about the trouble he has gone through while being with Scar that he plans to surrender to the train officials. Scar warned him that since Loki was with him and Kimbeley would remember his face, Loki might be killed off if he does that. With no choice, Loki decides to go with Scar as they go to meet up with Marcoh. At the North headquarters, Olivia gets a message to assist Kimbeley who was injured as she wondered why the government bailed him out of jail. Just then, an alarm goes off to warn that there is an intruder. Underground, Sloth came out from the ground and Ed & Al saw the homoculi mark on his right shoulder. They wondered if they were being followed but to their surprise, Sloth just went to sleep. They wake him up as they asks Sloth if he has heard anything from Father but Sloth says he doesn’t know them and he is tired so don’t talk to him. As they realize that Sloth doesn’t seem to know about them, they notice that everyone has started to think they are spies since they talked with Sloth. They deny it when Sloth gets annoyed with them that he started to go on a rampage. They attack Sloth but nothing works even guns and tanks. Just when one of the soliders was about to be hit, Ed saves him. Ed tells them that they can’t kill him easily. When asked why he knows that, Ed can’t tell them but Olivia decides to trust him a bit since he saved one of her men.
Olivia has a plan and Bucaneer forces Ed, Al and Furman to help them execute it. They lured/forced Sloth up an elevator and threw some sort of oil on him. They manage to push Sloth out on a balcony but they still need something to push him down. Furman then hits an icicle on its head using his gun. Sloth was in a daze as Ed and Al took this chance to kick him as Sloth finally falls down. On the ground, the oil they poured on Sloth helps freeze Sloth faster while he is out in the blizzard. He then passes out. From the hole that Sloth came, Olivia thinks that she needs to improve their defenses. Since they do not quite trust Ed, they tied him up along with Al and Furman. When asked if this has happened before, Olivia says that there was a time before she came, when someone has been stealing supplies for a month. Ed and Al then realizes that it was their sensei who was bragging about staying there for a month. They then went to investigate where the tunnel leads to. Outside, the others are still trying to keep Sloth frozen by pouring the oil on him. Nothing much I can say here but Sloth seems to be an easy target. Maybe if he gets angry things can change but still, he is sloth so I think the best tactic should be make him comfortable and he will just sleep or stay put. I do wonder where the tunnel leads to. Also, it would want to see Kimbeley arriving there.

Finished: Black Blood Brothers is about Jirou, a vampire, escourting this boy vampire to a special city wherein vampires and humans co-exist. I am expecting action and something more but then, it pretty much focuses on him babysitting the young boy and trying to settle in the city with the help of a girl, compromiser. This is disrupted because of some villains, kowloon child who wanted to retrieve the body of their boss within the city. Well, that fact came up at the last episode ^^; for before that I thought they just wanted to destroy the city by infecting as many people as they can. The ending seems rushed that after finishing off the enemy who doesn’t seem to be that strong, the trio just went back to their own lives. I have a feeling that this is based on a manga since there are a lot of things that seems to be left unanswered. Anyway, the character I like here is Zalman, one of the three caretakers of the city. Aside from being bsho, I like his power wherein he just looks at things, he can set them on fire. At first I thought he was the villain since his group seems to be a gangster type. Overall, it is okay could have been better though and well, it can’t be helped I guess since there are only 12 episodes. I like the ending song by Loveholic though.
It turned out that I like Mai-Hime than Mai-Otome. Mai-Otome’s first half is pretty much like Daddy-long-legs crossover with prince and the pauper as they wonder if Akira is the true princess. Akira being an orphan is supported by this mysterious guy who asks that she writes him letters. The school is on how to produce Otomes who become bodyguards to different countries whom they swear to serve until death or well, they get married. They lose power if they aren’t virgins anymore. The love triangle here is a bit disturbing since it is Akira-her friend, Nina and Nina’s adoptive father, Sergay and Nina got him. The latter half is when the princess is overthrown and she realizes what a spoiled brat she is so she decides to win over her people with Akira as her Otome. The latter half is basically getting her country back and Akira getting Nina to ‘snap out’ of it and be friends again. Just like Mai-Hime, no one really dies here and after they caught the cause of all the mess, Nagi, everything went back to normal and everyone is more or less happy. I guess it is because the plot doesn’t seems to be that original and well, after seeing Mai-Hime, I’m already assuming that no one dies though I got a bit teary eyed when the princess’ maid sacrifice her life but then, at the back of my mind, I knew that she will be alive later on and she was.
Since the subber finally finishes Zegapain, I get to finish it. The story is about Kyo who gets to be a pilot in this different world which is like a game but he then realizes that he and everything else in the world he lives is an illusion as some mad man made everyone in the world into data in a computer server to have immortality. With the help of a person, they got mecha and some ways to fight back against these two people who are bent on killing all of them off. The lure of this series is on the interaction of the characters and actually, things pick up when Kyo’s love interest, Kaminagi becomes his wizard. I am okay with the ending though it is not exactly a happy ending and more on the audience would decide if Kyo is still living when Kaminagi becomes ‘human’, too. I don’t like the mecha designs though but still, overall, the plot is quite good. As I wrote before, I like both opening and ending songs.
Just finished watching Air last night. The story is about this guy who travels with his little puppet act and befriends Michiru, a girl who dreams of being able to fly. He stays to accompany her and since she seems to be the one whom his mother was searching for – a girl with wings. The first half is on the guy, helping out a couple of girls then finally, Michiru who has ‘attacks’ when she gets too close with people. Then, things get confusing as the guy decided to leave but returns and became a crow who then observes everything again. There is also a background story on Michiru’s other self set in the past wherein she is like a ‘priestess’ whom her two friends helped escape. They journey to find her mother but it ended in tradegy. Her two friends then decided to make children who would someday meet with the priestess reincarnation to sooth the ‘curse’ placed on her. The guy is the ancestor. Then, in the end, nothing can be done as Michiru had her last dream and passed away just when her aunt/mom decided to make happy memories with her. I did choke a bit in that scene but otherwise, I’m dry-eyed. I guess it is because the story is happening too fast – resolution of the story - that I never get to like any character then their story is already over. I have read that many says it would be better if it is a longer series so maybe that is why Kanon is longer. Also, Michiru’s predicament somewhat reminds me of Makoto’s in Kanon though Makoto’s is more of a romantic twist rather than mother-daughter relationship. I came to like the opening song and the art is really gorgeous. I have read a bit on the game to make sense on what happened as to why the guy became a crow. It seems that there are three parts of the game. The first one is Dream which is the arc when the guy came. The second one is Summer which is on the priestess. Lastly, is Air wherein the guy became a crow so everything repeats. I’m guessing that she died in the first part all alone so the guy asks to observe her all over again so she became well temporarily and finally, she didn’t die alone.
Currently watching: I’m also guessing that Air would have more impact if I haven’t seen Makoto’s arc in Kanon. The first of many girls in Kanon’s story to be resolved. Makoto is a fox whom Yuiichi found when he was a boy. He nursed it to health but was forced to leave it when he moved away. So, upon returning now, because of some miracle, Makoto came back as a girl. At first she claims to hate Yuiichi and tries to pull practical jokes on him but Yuiichi manages to thwart her. Things change when Mai mentions that he should be nice to her. Makoto doesn’t have memories of her past, only that she ‘hates’ Yuiichi. Soon, with some help, Yuiichi realizes that Makoto is the fox he had helped before and learns that she gave up her life and memories just to become human so that she can be with him. It does seems like the Little Mermaid. Yuiichi even skips school just to be with her in her final days and grants her wish to be married to him. And, just as she suddenly appeared, she just vanish on their last day together. It is really sad but beautiful. The next girl is Mai, a girl who stays in school at night, to fight off some ‘ghosts’? as Yuiichi tries to make her more popular in school. Mai is the girl-type who rarely talks that Yuiichi has to use double effort to communicate with her and he uses food. =P Asatte no Houkou is still okay as the girl’s ‘brother’ realizes who she is and how the threesome lives in one house. Not much conflicts here but it is still a good watch. Saiunkoku Monogatari is currently on how to get Shuurei to the province to become governor along with the other one whose name I forgot when many people are trying to stop that. Also, there is a bit on Seiran’s past. I’m assuming he must be some bandit/assassin before along with his friend. He seems to be bent on keeping his past a secret though I’m guessing Shuurei will know of it sooner or later. The one who is accompanying Shuurei, iirc, is the one who picked up Seiran after the assassination attempt.
Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion is still good to watch. Lelouch is currently planning on having a private army to do his bidding in contrast to before he just goes in and orders people around which resulted in his losing a battle. Suzaku, his bestfriend got into his school and both still don’t know each other’s secret identities. Currently, Lelouch plans on capturing his half-sister, Cornelia who seems to know who killed his mother. In Bleach, only one Bount left and they are still dragging the fights. D. Gray-man is now currently in Miranda’s arc, it is okay but I’m waiting for Rabi to be introduced. Death Note is still okay as it is still fun to watch Light and L try to outwit each other even though I already know the story. Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto is still like a Japanese history lesson with a touch of Kabuki at the side. I think the lead is a bit too strong for the enemies since he manages to defeat them easily. I forgot how many enemies who would be after him and the acting troupe before the big boss. Five are already finished. I was able to get update on Le Chevalier D'Eon and it is still fun to watch though I cringe a bit when D’Eon wears a dress. ^^; From France, they go to Russia as they track down his sister’s murderers. I came to like the opening and ending songs.
Just got into: Shounen Omnyouji is about a young omnyouji [exorcist/priest] who tries to make a name for himself since his grandfather is famous. To help him, is this small creature who is really powerful when the boy calls out his name. And his love interest seems to be this princess. This is nothing new to me in terms of how things work in this period like demons and curses since I have watched the movie Omnyouji which is about the grandfather, Abe Seimei. So far, it is okay but then, hard to judge since the story haven’t started and I only got into the introduction. Another similar type series is Kekkaishi. I actually was interested in this since I saw a picture of the lead and thought that he looks cute and found the manga. I finished the manga up to what is currently available and since it is good, I’m watching this. The story is about two kekkaishi [kekkai=barrier; shi = teacher] who guards the school which used to be a place which makes demons stronger. They put demons in kekkai and if it is harmless, releases it and if not, destroy it and sends it to another dimension. Yoshimori doesn’t want to do this but is forced too and he used to be a crybaby as Tokine who is older tends to act like a big sister to him. That is until one day, Tokine protects him and she was badly injured that Yoshimori decided to become stronger to prevent that from happening again. He also has a crush on Tokine but Tokine seems to think of him as a pest/younger brother. I enjoy watching it even if I have read the manga but then, I just browsed through the manga so the anime helps clarify what happened in the manga. Hehehe
I have checked out Red Garden and it turned out to be a rip off of Gantz as four girls in a certain school were revived but they have to fight some werewolf type person at night if summoned by butterflies. If they die, they will be dead permanently. It isn’t explained yet what are the werewolves they are forced to fight came from. It is revealed though that they were killed when they try to meet with a friend’s boyfriend. Even if I don’t like the art and music as I cringe when one of the girls sings, I still found myself still watching it as I would like to know how they will escape this predicament. So, it is a bit interesting on how they react to the situation since they are from different backgrounds. One is rich who likes to party, another is rich who is a bit timid and nice, the other is poor who has to support her younger siblings while the last one is also poor but more tomboyish and independent. I watched one episode of Negima!? about a boy wizard hired to be teacher to high school girls. It seems to be a harem series but so far, it is bearable unlike Lunar Cresent. I actually wanted to check out Negima before but the first adaptation got not so good reviews so I’m checking this one out. I also have watched one episode of Pumpkin Scissors which is about after war, a certain group of people are helping people get back their lives to normal and tries to stop dictatorial activities of former military people. It is okay and will have to see if things get better.
Ghost Hunt is another series that I checked out since the lead is goodlooking. Actually, I saw him first at a Chinese site like Kekkashi. Just as in the title, the story is about ghost hunting wherein the lead, Shibuya uses modern equipment to monitor ghosts and other stuff to learn the cause of the paranormal. A student, Mai accidentally injures Shibuya’s assistant so she replaces him. The first case is a old school building wherein a classmate claims there is a ghost inside and other things happens there. There are other cast from various sectors on dealing with such cases like a priest, a monk, a miko and a medium who help Shibuya though they tend to be hired separately by the client. The first three episodes deal with the school building which turned out that the soft ground is causing what is happening and the classmate thoughts on wanting ghosts to appear there is the cause. That was a bit tame and not really scary. It is the second case, doll’s house which got me scared. They were hired to check out mysterious happenings in the house- furniture gets turned over, moving things, writings on wall, etc. At first, they thought it was the young girl living in the house who causes it but then, they suspect her doll whom the girl says talks. Shibuya told the others that it is the spirit in the house that went into the doll. The doll moving by itself is really creepy that even if I know it is going to turn its head around, I still can’t get myself to look away. ^^;; It turned out that some spirit has been killing off children who had lived in the house as they trace the past owners. The ghost turned out to be looking for her daughter as she lured ‘kills’ the children who goes in the house. They managed to ‘cleanse’ the ghost by making a ‘doll’ that can appear like her daughter so that she can move on. It turned out that Shibuya is an omnyouji. This is one series that I have to make sure I watch it on the day since I might not be able to sleep at night. =P
Dramas: 14 Sai no Haha is about a 14 year old who had sex one day with her boyfriend and got herself pregnant. The story is basically about how the two families react to the story as well as the girl’s classmates and school. When everyone thought it would be easier for her just to abort the child, she decided otherwise and with the help of her family, she managed to brave it all until the day she gives birth. In contrast, the guy’s mother wanted to escape it as if it didn’t happen that she wanted a contract that the girl will not run after them later on. It turned out to be useless since the guy’s mother later on became bankrupt and they have to hide from their creditors. During the giving birth, a complication happened as the placenta distaches from the girl so they rush her to the hospital. They managed to save both mother and child. I thought that she will not make it but since I’m only one episode from the ending, I guess that it is the baby who might not make it based on the preview.
Snow Queen is said to be slightly based on the book of the same title and yet it is a tribute to a certain boxer in Korea. The story is about Tae, a genius high schooler who easily outmatched the former genius. The former genius tries to discredit him by saying that he copied the assignment from a math book. Since everyone is saying he was a cheat even if he wasn’t, he runs away and met up with this rich young spoiled girl whom he saved from some bullies before. The girl wants to go abroad but can’t since she is underage so she wants him to be her guardian but it turned out that he is also underage – she thought he was in college. Both realized that they are both running away and when asked where does she want to go, she tells him in Lapland where the Snow Queen lives for she thinks that the Snow Queen took her mother there. They then had fun at an amusement park but decided to go home. By the time he returns home, they all realized their mistake that he didn’t copied the assignment and his mother apologizes for she also didn’t believe him. Then, to make amends, the former genius helps out Tae in their small eatery and they became fast friends. One day, there is a math Olympics and both boys were contestants. Tae won and the other was a bit of a sore loser that he took it badly and they had a fight. Around this time, Tae was suppose to meet with the girl again at the amusement park but it seems that the girl was suppose to have an operation that day. Nevertheless, she decided to go since she doesn’t want Tae to wait for nothing. [Note: there are no cellphones at this time, only beepers and Tae doesn’t have one.] The next day, Tae realizes that he doesn’t want to end the friendship just because of that so he goes to his friend’s room to apologize. He also brings a pair of boxer’s gloves since his friend likes boxing. He only saw a note from his friend on the table who also apologizes but then, he gets news that his friend got into an accident and died. I’m not quite sure if it is suicide but his friend really looks distraughted over it as it seems that his father has high expectations of him and everyone is whispering that he is the ‘former’ genius, etc. Fast forward a few years, Tae now looks rugged goes to visit his friend at the hospital and saw a girl who is making a commotion who threatens to kill herself but Tae stops her.
By episode 2, it is obvious that the girl is the young spoiled girl, Bora but they don’t recognize each other. They got on each other’s wrong side. It turned out that Tae was so shock over his friend’s death for indirectly causing it that he runs away and when he returns, his mother is gone, looking for him ever since he has been looking for her while becoming a boxer to fulfill his friend’s dream. Tae’s friend works a department store which was owned by Bora’s father. Because of a commotion, they crossed paths again. After managing to stop Bora’s suicide, Tae managed to get on the good side of her father who thought he was after their money. Tae then found his mother who can’t forgive him for giving up his future that she asks for some money to pay for her debts. Tae was forced to borrow from Bora’s father who willingly gives it since he notices Tae’s genius. He was then hired to be a chauffeur for Bora who bullies/embarrasses him since she thought he is just after money. When Tae saved her from a guy who almost ‘kidnaps’ her because of her own undoing, she tames down a bit and lets Tae be her chauffeur. They then went to her school as she does her homework. Tae then adds in some answers to the homework that it was praised by the teacher so Bora has to make a presentation on it. Tae tells her that he just copied it since he tries to hide his talent and yeah, he changed his name. So they went to the library and there, Tae found a Snow Queen book and he asks her if she knows where the Snow Queen lives. Bora replies Lapland. Tae then tells her that he also knew because of a girl whom she met who wanted to go there. So by episode 4, Bora realizes that he was the boy whom she met before and fell in love with.
But what is a love story without rivals. In the boxing club, the daughter of the owner is in love with Tae whom he turned down since he isn’t ready or in the state of mind to be in relationship. The salesman friend of Tae in turn likes the daughter of the owner. Then, for Bora, there is this doctor who was set up with her. He isn’t exactly head over heels over Bora but still he is interested in her. And by the end of episode 1, I had guessed that Tae’s deceased friend is Bora’s brother. Tae thought that the grave whom Bora visited was her mother’s. Even if there is some discrepancies like they say that Bora hates being touched by people and washes it off immediately, at times, she doesn’t seem to show this compulsive behavior. Also, Bora telling Tae about her mother leaving them for another guy and Tae for being a genius, haven’t thought why does Bora go to the grave when her mother is like that. Why didn’t the teacher notice that the handwriting on the homework is different? The mere fact that Tae would throw away his future and doing what he isn’t really good at just because he indirectly caused the death of a friend seems to be a bit unrealistic. Nevertheless, it is fun to watch that I can’t wait to see the next episode even if I think this will be a tradegy since Bora seems to have an ailment that is life-threatening.

Weekly Shounen Manga Update: Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, Gintama and Gantz

In Naruto [c. 335], Shikamaru and others realized that Kakuzu’s monsters has part of his heart so they have to kill them all. The hearts can be replaced using people so they have different elemental powers. Shikamaru suggests that they try to separate them [Kakuzu and Hidan] from each other so that they won’t attack them with those combo attacks. And, Shikamaru manages to capture Hidan again using his shadow technique. Anyway, I’m guess it would be those chapters they got them, they don’t got them and was overpowered, then got them again until the conclusion. I wonder if Shikamaru will use Hidan to fight Kakuzu or just stall him while the others try to finish off Kakuzu. If this is like that fight before with Akatsuki, an Akatsuki might end up dead.
The hollow with Renji realizes that his buddy, the antmasked one is missing in Bleach [c.256]. Obviously, Peche [ant mask hollow] has found Ishida. He thinks that based on looks, Ishida is the weakest of the group but can’t help just stand there as Ishida gets beaten so he came out. Then, some random jokes on Peche’s looks and being ‘all white in appearance’, Peche shows his ability of being able to spit some goo which makes things slippery. He spits on ex-espada fairy’s weapon so that it slides off Peche. He spits on all the tall structures that the fairy is standing on and made the fairy fall down. As they try to escape, the fairy gets angry and morphs into like a flying insect with eagle face. Geez, I’m guessing all of Neru’s friends will have spit powers. ^^; Actually, a way out would be Peche spitting all over the enemy to make everything it holds slippery. It would be more helpful if it is a glue type goo since the fairy seems to be an insect type. Mm..that leaves Sado all alone to fight the hollow he had encountered. It would be amusing if all hollows like Peche ranks people’s power according to looks. =P [Chad > Renji > Ichigo > Rukia > Ishida. ]
A little flashback in One Piece [c. 438] on before they got on the ship. Sanji informs the others that he saw Usopp practicing lines on joining the crew again. Luffy, Chopper and Nami were delighted that they are going to get him when Zoro strong objects. Zoro explains that even whoever is right or wrong in the duel, Usopp lost and left the crew. Having respect for the captain even if Luffy is the stupid type, he still has to respect Luffy and respecting the captain is important in a crew or else, it will just break apart. Zoro threatens to leave the crew if Usopp is just accepted like that –not respecting the captain. This surprises Luffy, Chopper and Nami as Zoro tells them that he would welcome Usopp back if he sincerely apologizes for what he did and if not, they should just leave Usopp in Water 7. Nami tries to defend Usopp but Zoro asks is leaving a crew on a whim acceptable since being pirates isn’t just playing games. Sanji agrees with Zoro. Luffy realizes Zoro’s point so they would all just wait for Usopp to come back to them on his own will before they set sail. End flashback. Meanwhile, the marines realizes that the Strawhats are at the other side as they plan to attack. Coby is a bit embarrassed having to attack them when they said ‘happy goodbyes’. Garp tells him if he wants to complain then complain to Sengoku as Garp complains about being scolded. Aokiji who is relaxing on a folding recliner, says it is because his excuse for not arresting Luffy is because Luffy is his grandson. Garp telss him not to shut up. A marine then asks what is Aokiji doing there. Aokiji says that he is lazy to bike all the way back to headquarters but not to worry, he won’t disturb them as he goes to sleep. Garp and others are preparing to pursue Strawhats. Usopp is running through the town as he is practicing his lines on getting on the crew that everyone still needs him so they would accept them easily.
While at shipyard, the preparation for the ship’s departure is finished. Franky family bids Franky goodbye as Nami and Chopper calls for Luffy. Franky asks if Luffy really doesn’t plan on waiting for Usopp. Luffy says that he already waited ever since Sanji told them that Usopp wanted to come back but ever since then, Usopp didn’t showed up so they are left with no choice and they are leaving as he hopes to see Usopp someday while sailing since Usopp won’t give up on being a pirate. Franky and Robin notice that Luffy is sweating and nervously laughing as it is obvious Luffy doesn’t really wanted to part with Usopp but as captain, it is something he has to do. Just then, a blast nearly hit them. They look out and it is Garp’s ships. Garp then announces that it is him as Luffy asks why he is targeting them. Garp apologizes saying that something happened and Luffy has to become fish food but since an apology isn’t enough, he will just finish them off by himself. Garp then asks for a cannon ball and he tosses it to them. It hits some broken ships as everyone is surprise that it is faster than a regular cannon ball. Everyone is then up for battle as Nami suggests that they quickly leave or else the ship be destroyed. Garp laughs as he says he doesn’t want to grow old yet and he is a bit off so he asks for 1000 cannon balls. Coby shouts that with such, they can sink a ship as Garp removes his coat and prepares to fire at the Strawhats.
As they try to escape, Chopper shouts that Usopp has arrived. Franky family asks why Usopp is still there for they thought he was already in the ship. Usopp hurries near the sea and shouts for them saying that he has been fighting with them as Sogeking, and tells them not to worry for he will help them. Chopper keeps on shouting to Luffy that Usopp has come back but everyone is focusing on fighting off the cannonballs that Garp is tossing at them. Usopp shouts if they are happy that he has come back and that everything before is just a joke but Luffy and Zoro pretends not to hear him. As the ship sails farther away, Usopp drops on his knees and tells them to stop joking around but at least hear his last words. Usopp then starts to cry as he apologizes that it was his fault. Everyone was surprised by it. He cries that he knows he was the one who wanted to call it quits. He then asks them to let him be in the crew once again. Luffy then stretches his hand to Usopp as he pulls Usopp back. Luffy is also crying in happiness as everyone rejoices. Luffy says that since everyone is back together again, now they just have to escape from Garp and start another new adventure together. And that is how Usopp gets to be in Strawhats again. ^_^
Gintama [c. 145] also starts with a flashback of Tamago/Jade. [I will be using Jade as Gin and others call her since it sounds better ^^;] She remembers Ryuyama telling her that he wants to become a machine after his daughter died. He wants to would then forget the pain and suffereing he experienced. She then realizes why Ryuyama says that, trying to make his daughter live as an immortal [in machine] and giving life to them androids. It is not for his daughter but for himself since he is the one who is lonely that he doesn’t want to admit that his daughter has passed away. Gin and Jade [mop girl] jump down and Jade ended up stuck into the floor. ^^; What an entrance. Maid androids try to attack them as Gin evades and tries to get Jade out of the ground. He then whirls Jade around to hit away the androids. He then tosses her to android Ryuyama as she thought that it would be better to end this – trying to escape the pain and only became like this android – for he wanted to bring back his daughter’s smile and Ryuyama’s smile when he made her. She hits Ryuyama as Gin cuts the ropes on Shinpachi. It turns out that Jade wasn’t able to hurt Ryuyama even if she kept on hitting him. He grabs her head and tries to reprogram her as he notes that she just stayed with humans too long. Gin then uses his wooden sword to cut Ryuyama’s arm to free Jade. He then hits Ryuyama’s head causing a part of it to be wrecked away but Ryuyama regenerates as he tells Gin that his brain isn’t in the head. Ryuyama then punches Gin upward and stabbed him as Gin was ‘implanted’ into the wall. Ryuyama says that his brain is in some microchip that he has hidden. Gin insults him like his soul being inside a small grain of rice that Ryuyama stabbed him again at his right shoulder.
Shinpachi tries to help but was stopped by Jade. Ryuyama says that he got Jade back to his side as he orders Jade to finish Shinpachi off. All other androids then gather there. Jade then hits the ground where Shinpachi is holding on and fell. Ryuyama then says that Gin is the only one left who tries to thrwart his plans. Gin smiles and says that to have a father who lets his daughter kill someone and wanting to making androids to be with his ‘daughters’ just to obey him, he doesn’t want daughters he want maids. And Ryuyama was about to kill Gin, behind him, his androids aren’t his for they are bulky maid androids with old man inventor’s touch and Kagura is also one of them. Then, old man using a small rocket, probably from the tank’s parts, flies as he tells them to fire. They all fired at Ryuyama who tries to shield himself but was hold back by Jade. He calls out for her to let him go but she won’t as she says that she can’t follow him anymore for he isn’t her master but they are. Shinpachi is on the rocket as he pulled out Gin from the wall. As Ryuyama still tries to get Jade off him, she says that what is he trying to protect for she learned that to protect something, one should be willing until the end. Gin then stabs him right into the head and into the machine behind him. Ryuyama says that it is useless for unless the microchip is broken, he will regenerate. Gin then says something about the microchipas he pushes Ryuyama into the machine and breaking it. I’m guessing that the chip is in the machine or in Jade. About what Jade says that he won’t follow him anymore since he isn’t her master anymore, well, it sounds awfully familiar. I wonder what series I have heard that from since it doesn’t sound new. I guess the next chapter would be the conclusion.
In Gantz [c.240], as they realize that they are in Osaka, they also realize that other people can see them in contrast before. People are passing by asking if they are cosplaying or filming since Reika is there. Katou told them to hurry as they quickly left. Three people and vampires who were left at the alley suddenly hear a loud beeping sound. They thought it was their mobile phone but of course, it is the bomb planted in their heads. As the others exploded, the vampires quickly run towards where the group left and the beeping stopped. The vampires realized that they are trapped to play the game. Meanwhile, the geisha alien is still running after the boy as passers by wonder what it is about. The alien managed to get hold of him but was about to eat him. With the help of the suit, the boy manages to punch the monster away. I’m thinking that the rule change is that the group has to be together in a certain amount of distance if not, the person will explode. It seems that even if one is not dead like the vampires, they can be in the game and has to comply with the rules. The series has gone a bit unbelievable when people started to see them. I mean would people then know that there are aliens in their midst and these people are their heroes. It is weird that their publicity isn’t that great after the last fight unless it is a cover up. Well, maybe there is a reason why the rules are changing other than making them more competitive.

Kyouko has just finished packing her bags. Itsumi is surprised that she managed to fit all the sounvenirs that she bought in the bag. Kyouko says that she is ‘domestic’ [can do such things like a mother] She then, tells Itsumi that she is going to see Ogata. Itsumi tells her to be careful. As Kyouko walks, she thinks that she has already finished shooting her scenes and today, she will be going back to Tokyo. She heads to the lobby to see Ogata to say goodbye. At the elevator, she thinks that it is a good thing that things were able to finish without much problem though those two stupid guys [Shou and Reino] messed up things at the start. When she arrives at the ground floor, she saw Shouko, carrying a small bundle. Kyouko greets her and asks if she ate breakfast already. Shouko says that she didn’t for she just went to get clothes for Shou since he is seriously working [making music] so the time going there will be wasted. Kyouko gets angry as why is Shou like that, acting like a young master. Shouko then says that she wants to thank her. Kyouko wonders what did she do that she is being thanked. Shouko smiles and says that if she doesn’t remember, then it is okay for Shou being able to become like that now [serious in work], is all because of Kyouko. Kyouko laughs as she says what was that since Shou is the same before and now. Kyouko then pauses as Shouko looks serious. Shouko says that Shou will now be more great and that Kyouko should see what Shou will become. Kyouko gets irritated for why does she have to see what Shou will become, she isn’t his mother. She then wonders what did Shou did that made Shouko says that.
Just then, she felt something and turns around. She then looks around thinking that she has felt that irritating feeling again and it is. Just then, she was surprised that Reino blows her hair from behind. Reino greets her and says that they haven’t seen each other for four days. Kyouko shouts why is he up so early in the morning for wasn’t he suppose to wake up late. Reino says that it is early and how does she know [he wakes up late]. Kyouko asks what does he want. Then, she looks determined [just like in the dream, last chapter], and says I knew you would come, it is a good thing that I didn’t believe that moron [Shou]. Reino says that he haven’t said anything yet. Kyouko shouts, even if you don’t say it, I already know, you came to harass me. A brief pause.
Reino says if she wants that, he can do that since that is easy. Kyouko shouts that she doesn’t want and who would want to be harassed. Kyouko then asks outloud, if he isn’t planning on harassing her, why is he there. At the background, some women notice that Reino is there and from their outbursts, other people began to notice. Reino says that he is going to say, he is going to take her away. Kyouko then makes a pose ala Sailormoon and asks, take away to the demon world. Reino was speechless as he wonders what is Kyouko thinking and if her unattained love/traumatic love experience is causing her brain to malfunction. Kyouko continues her speech, ah, so you want to take me to demon world eh, let see you try but let me tell you, today I am no longer the same as before. Reino then asks is it okay to be there, doesn’t it bother her for there are many fans. Kyouko looks back and it seems she didn’t notice that fans had gathered as females scream for Reino while some passersby were asking who Kyouko is.
Someone is knocking at their hotel room as Itsumi goes to open the door. It is Ren who is looking for Kyouko and if Itsumi can call her. Itsumi says that Kyouko went to see Ogata and has not yet returned. Ren asks if Kyouko is alone. Itsumi says yes and asks if there is a problem. Ren remembers that Itsumi doesn’t know that the stalker is a showbiz personality. Ren then uses his fake smile as he says it is nothing and he will be going since he is going to Ogata too, so he might find Kyouko there. As he turns around, Ren is looking serious as he thought why would Kyouko be walking alone when she knew that the stalker is in the same hotel. He thought that didn’t he told Kyouko not to approach the stalker alone or does she actually thought that she can take care of the stalker alone.
At some place at the hotel, Kyouko says, here, the place and atmosphere is changed, you can say what you want, you monster. Again, Reino was speechless as he thought, why are they all alone in this place, has she forgotten what I tried to do to her before. Flashback: While the fans are happily snapping pictures with their mobile phones, Kyouko gets scared for if she tries to ‘kill’ Reino there, it would mess up her Mio role. She then goes into flirty mode and tells Reino, Mr Beagle, being here would cause trouble to others so why don’t we talk elsewhere. Reino followed and told her not to call him Beagle. So they ended up at place where no one is around. End of flashback. Reino thought that as they go on, he doesn’t understand what’s happening anymore. Kyouko then continues her speech, let me wake you up, I’m no longer the same as the other day. Why would I say that, it is because now I have something that gave me courage and confidence. She then holds out her small purse with corn inside to Reino as she says, this is a holy, anti-evil amulet. A pause. Kyouko then wonders why it doesn’t affect Reino and to her surprise, Reino takes corn and looks at it. He asks what is it for it doesn’t seem to have any special powers. Kyouko is shock for Reino is able to hold it and she can’t. [Note: It seems that ever since Ren kissed corn, Kyouko kept corn in a small purse and haven’t touch it ever since since she thought Ren put a spell on it.]
Then, Reino felt something on corn that he quickly tossed it back to Kyouko. It shoots back in the purse. Kyouko looks in to see corn is back in and looks at Reino as she wonders why. Reino then tells Kyouko that the rock isn’t hers. Kyouko was surprised and thought, how did he know, no wonder he is a demon. Reino tells her that the rock still has the memories of its past owner and that she should throw it away. Kyouko looks angry and has this ‘eh’ face. She tells him not to say such things for it is her precious treasure. He says that the rock has absorbed many ill feelings that it already has the ability to ‘kill’ that he felt is it already at a high degree so he had to quickly threw it back at her instinctively. Reino thought that it has been a long time since he had touch such a thing that is hurt-pain feeling. Kyouko gets angry for she doesn’t want to hear such things from him whom she hates. She shouts for him not to say such bad thing at corn for corn has become like that is because she has been pouring her bad feelings into it as it listen to her heartaches and frustrations. Reino tells her not to be silly for the ill feelings inside the rock is much greater than the ones she poured into it. Kyouko looks surprised. Reino continues that the previous owner of the rock is a child and it isn’t the kind of normal family to have produce such feelings from a child. For a child to have such feelings up to now and haven’t break free from them [feelings], that person had a breakdown or had already left this world. Reino then noticed that what he told Kyouko didn’t made a reaction on her.
Kyouko then asks, so what..she already knows about that, she knew it way before..that he isn’t of this world since he is a fairy from fairy country just like he said, the fairy country doesn’t exist anymore and she felt lonely about it. Reino was speechless again as he thought, does she really believe that, she is really a strange girl. Reino then suggests that either she throw it away or have it purified so lend it to him. Kyouko quickly holds corn tight and denies his request for if a guy from demon world would have touched it, corn would really become a cursed item. Reino asks what did she mean by that, she should just give it to him. Kyouko refuses as Reino told her that if she kept on having it, she might suffer a cruel death. Before long, while trying to grab it from Kyouko, Kyouko is now on the floor as Reino tries to wrestle corn from her. Reino insists that she let go for it is rare for him to do this thing [purify] for free so she shouldn’t reject his offer. Kyouko shouts for him to let go for she isn’t asking him to do that. Just then, someone grabbed Reino’s wrist. Reino looked at the assailant as well as Kyouko and they were suprirsed to see a very angry Ren.
Just then, Reino felt something from Ren’s grip just as he did from corn. Several scenes flashes into Reino. A boy looking darkly into a rock/corn, gripping it and then opening it again. Then, giving it to young Kyouko who was happy to receive it. A bloodied hand. Ren in some alley, looks as if it is from abroad from the buildings, punched some guys’ lights out. One is on the floor. Another is on his left hand but unconscious while others are running away from him. He then turns around. His hair is light colored here—almost like gold/blonde. Most of the scenes are dark except for the flashbacks on young Kyouko. The scenes quickly vanish as Ren and Kyouko looked surprise since Reino quickly pulled away from Ren’s grip and slides away about 1-2 meters away from Ren. Reino looks really surprised and a bit scared. Ren and Kyouko looks at him then at each other as they wondered what was that about.
The exciting part here is at the last few pages. It seems that Reino has more powers than just being able to grab Kyouko’s demons and controlling her to not to move for it seems that he can also sense things by just touching them to even see their past as he did Ren. I’m beginning to think that Reino is somewhat of a spiritualist/psychic and somewhat of a monk/priest to be able to purify things. He doesn’t look like one though especially from his looks and those sharp long nails. ^^; I think his original plan is to take Kyouko away from Shou or something like that. Kyouko’s speech and poses are amusing that they remind me of Sailormoon or any anime heroes that have a speech before they blast the enemy away. Hehe, the struggle for corn doesn’t make Reino look good and well, as I thought before, I thought he is trying to rape her. I’m also thinking what would Reino do with the new info he got. Would he try to tell Kyouko that the previous owner of corn is Ren? If Ren made him an enemy, Reino has the ability to destroy Ren’s reputation since he can easily research on Ren after seeing his violent past and real hair color. About the hair color, I guess Ren has to dye his hair a lot. I’m also guessing that maybe because of some incident or with the help of Lory, Ren managed to change as Reino mentioned, if Ren still had those ill feelings, he would have been dead or broken down. I wonder what will happen next. Well, the author is on a break so next chapter would be on January. Oh ya, as I thought, it is pretty much like what happened in Kyouko's dream last chapter on meeting with Reino - using corn and finally, Ren appearing.

The cousins then ask what does Daiya’s mother meant about the current situation is good and they shouldn’t have girlfriends. Meanwhile, Isocchi is waving goodbye to Akiou up to when she can’t see him. In front of her house, she thought, number 1 choice/wish, to be a bride. Then, she messes up her hair and shouts, arrgghh! A note says, the princess has gone crazy. She blushes and is a bit teary eyed. At home, Fuuko was happy about the information she got on how to become a hairstylist for kids and that it is a long road ahead. She tells herself that the place is great and makes her heart feel lighter/happy as she sees the stylist cutting hair and talking with the kids. She then strips as she shouts that she should work hard for now since she should concentrate on being a student. But then, she ended up sleeping..drooling over her homework.
At the classroom’s balcony, [during lunch break, I think] Fuuko is telling Mako one must always practice[motto?]. Mako asks who is imitating. They were disturbed when Fuuko sees Daiya’s mother came into the class. This surprises Daiya as he asks what is she doing there. Everyone was saying how beautiful his mother is. Daiya’s mother says that she went to talk to the teacher so she came to see him while she is there. Daiya was shock as she then thanks the students for putting up with her stupid son and nephew. Daiya gets embarrass as tries to push her out of the classroom. On her way out, she then sees Fuuko. Mako says that they [Daiya and his mom] looked alike. Fuuko says that they are. A guy tells Ichi that their bloodline seems to be all beautiful. Ichi says, is that so. He looks at Fuuko who is thinking if Daiya’s mother is ‘focusing/concentrating’ on her. Mako asks what could have they [Daiya’s mom and teacher] talked about. Fuuko says that it could be about family interview since she was abroad so she has time for it only now. She then wonders if Daiya told his mother about the break up.
Outside, Daiya’s mother tells him that child [Fuuko] is his classmate. This surprises Daiya that he says, your eyes are STILL good. She grabs him by the collar and screams, STILL, what do you mean by that, brat, as Daiya’s mother inner Osaka trait comes out. She looks at him as Daiya is looking away. She then lets him go and as she leaves, she tells him to think about it. Daiya looks a bit glum. In the classroom, Ichi calls Fuuko [by her surname] who is still sitting at the balcony. Fuuko looks at him then looks away, asking what is it. Ichi remains silent that Fuuko turns around, shouting, I’m asking what is it. Fuuko was taken aback when Ichi looks a bit sad/emotionless. Just then, Daiya kicks Ichi from behind. Ichi gets angry and shouts stupid. Daiya quickly grabs Ichi from the arm and drags him away from the classroom as Ichi shouts not to deliberately pinch him hard. Everyone was puzzled by it as well as Mako and Fuuko – what was it about?
Ichi shouts to let go as Daiya finally lets go. Daiya asks if Ichi plans to say it. Ichi says that he isn’t going to say it at that place. Suddenly, Daiya grabs Ichi by the collar. Ichi looks really surprised while Daiya is super serious. Daiya says not to tell or else, he will make her cry. He then lets Ichi go and quickly leaves. Daiya thinks that overall, whether she learns of it sooner or later, this is okay, like that is okay, for everything is... As he enters the classroom, Fuuko looks at him and he looks at her. Fuuko wonders why is he looking at her. Daiya quickly looks away and sits on his seat as a student talks to Daiya. Fuuko wonders what was that about just as Ichi also comes back to the classroom. I’m guessing Daiya is narrating – whether ‘this’ or ‘that’ had happened, even so..it would also be too late.
Daiya is with one of the flirty girls as he looks surprised. The girl asks if she can. Daiya says if it is kiss for fun sure why not. The girl was happy to hear that and blushes a bit. She then goes up the table and was about to kiss Daiya when the other girl came from the bathroom, saying that is unfair, she [the girl who wants to kiss] tries to get a kiss first. The girl says that it is just a small tiny peck. The other girl calls her a liar. Daiya just sits there, emotionless as if all his ‘genki-ness’ is all gone. At home, Fuuko is solving a math problem and she managed to get it correctly. She then goes to the living room to talk to her parents about her plans for the future when the doorbell rang. Her mother goes to answer it as she tells Fuuko to wait a bit. Her father says that isn’t it too early for that. Fuuko laughs and says that if she is either too early or too late in discussing it. Fuuko then overhears her mom exclaiming, oh it has been a long time since I seen you, when did you arrive. Fuuko learns that it is Daiya’s mother. Then, there were laughs, haha, they are stupid. Fuuko thought that it is best that she doesn’t go there as she wonders how others would face the mother of their ex-boyfriend. Then, Fuuko’s mother exclaims out loud, EEHhhh..going to China. As the conversation continues, Fuuko was surprised by it and her curiousity got the best of her as she goes out to them. She still looks suprised as she goes out and sees Daiya and Ichi’s mothers. Her mother exclaims haven’t she heard from them [Daiya and Ichi]. Fuuko asks, what did they say. Fuuko’s mother exclaims, really, it seems that between Daiya and Ichi, one has to go to China. And Fuuko still stands there, stunned by what she just heard.
Wow, talk about a twist, I didn’t expect that and it opens up a lot of possibilities. But then, I’m not really ready to say goodbye to either Ichi or Daiya, whoever leaves. I also wonder if they would really leave. What is the author planning with this? Is it to force Fuuko to choose again or she would just ignore it? Actually, the ignore is a bit out of character for her. Is this the author’s way of solving the love triangle? Someone has to give way. I wonder who it will be. I’m guessing if one goes then whoever stays will somehow manage get Fuuko then when the other one comes back, it is all messy again. I don’t want that since it is predictable and the cycle continues as if it will never end. ^^; From the looks of it, it is Daiya who is planning to go from the way he is acting. He even tell/threaten Ichi not to say anything about it to Fuuko. Also the way he acted with those girls, it seems that he had totally lost interest in life. I actually don’t like seeing him like this. It is Daiya’s mother who went to school so maybe she made arrangements with the school of Daiya possibility studing abroad. I wonder what she meant about Daiya thinking about it. I think that she is referring to Daiya wanted to go to China rather than he doesn’t want to go. If I recall right, their parents are based in China, right? I do wonder why one of the cousins have to go, is it to help the business? Anyway, this is why she said that the current situation is good since they have no girlfriends=attachments and well, Daiya and Fuuko broke up. Mmm, that would mean she is telling Daiya to go but he doesn’t want to. I’m guessing that she noticed that her son is not acting normal and it would be better to give him and Fuuko space to recover from the break up. But then, why would Daiya’s mother tell Fuuko’s mother about it if she wanted Daiya to go abroad? Isn’t it better to just leave secretly? But then, that would hurt Fuuko more -- leaving with no goodbye. Argh, I don’t want to overanalyze this anymore, I’m getting a headache. ^^;;

At school, the freshmen girls are raving about Ichi and Daiya especially since they don’t seem to have girlfriends as they gather up for an announcement at the gym. Fuuko and Mako obviously heard it all. Mako asks Fuuko about it as she says that it isn’t her business. Mako says that she is a liar for Fuuko is clearly eavesdropping over what they are saying. She then remembers telling the girls that Daiya doesn’t have a girlfriend at tennis practice and to her surprise, Daiya is looking at her so he could have heard it. While standing during the announcements, Fuuko thinks that it is okay, if Daiya has a new girlfriend, she can then forget him. After the announcement, they were walking out when they saw Daiya talking with two third year girl students [those flirty ones that Daiya used to go out with]. Daiya looks at her as the girls also look at her and says, oh it is the ex-girlfriend. They then asks Daiya that it has been a long time so why don’t they go out for they don’t have boyfriends..how about karaoke. Fuuko, with Mako, then walks by as she wonders what Daiya is going to answer. Daiya tells the girls that he will go with them. Fuuko then scolds herself for thinking that he won’t. Ichi sees her.
At the stairs, Mako asks if it is okay not to interfere for Daiya will really go out with those girls. Fuuko says that it is okay then she shouts, yes, it is better if he goes. Just then, Ichi grabs her hand and tells Mako that he is going to borrow Fuuko. This surprises Fuuko. At the roof, Fuuko shouts what is that about. Ichi asks, huh what...doing that strange thing. Fuuko gets embarrassed and says that she is going to leave. Ichi then stops her and tells her, don’t escape. As she tries to get away, Ichi holds her hand as Fuuko denies that she is escaping. Then, Fuuko sees Ichi looking at her as she then realizes that she is indeed trying to escape. The next page is a bit confusing as Ichi is saying something about many mountains and can he start. Someone shouting, eh, that thing..Daiya, too. His girl, no matter how to let know about love..Then, there is a scene of Kagechika thinking of which college Ichi will go. Back to Ichi and Fuuko, Ichi then says, I..because of you..Suddenly, Fuuko bites Ichi’s hand and quickly escapes.
While running, Fuuko thinks that even if Ichi says that, she can’t answer him. Then, Fuuko passes by some girls. They were talking about her going with a different guy when she just breaks off with Daiya, how thick faced she is, shouldn’t she just pick only one. Fuuko then thinks, pick one which one, Daiya or Ichi. Fuuko then looks angrily at the girls, as she thinks, so what. She shouts at them, why are the choices only two. She quickly runs away, leaving the girls puzzled. Fuuko thinks that she still has a different path that she can go. At some restaurant, Akiou is looking at a paper regarding college choices as she wonders if going to an ordinary college will be okay. Just then, Isocchi came with their food. Akiou quickly hides the paper.
At the apartment, the cousins’ mothers have came. Daiya’s mother says that it fits though guys don’t like it. [I don’t get it ^^;] The boys were speechless. Daiya then asks if she missed her cute son so she came. Daiya’s mother says yes and she asks how are things with Fuuko. Daiya nervously laughs and says that it has been a mess. Ichi doesn’t have much expression. This answer surprises both the mothers. Daiya’s mother sits down and asks Daiya, for how long. Daiya answers only recently but there are many freshmen lately so it won’t be long when he will find one [new gf]. Daiya’s mother says, that’s enough, like this is fine. She then says, Daiya and Ichi, can’t have girlfriends anymore. That quickly removed Daiya’s fake smile/laugh as he and Ichi looked surprise. At the kids beauty parlor, Fuuko makes a scene as she enters, apologizing [for interrupting]. The receptionist asks if she has an appointment and this parlor is for kids. Fuuko shouts that she knows. She then introduces herself and says that she likes kids and wants to be a hair stylist, would they listen to what she will say. Fuuko then thinks that she has chosen a path, for there are many paths. Then, a scene of Daiya and Ichi and another scene of Akiou looking a bit worried as Isocchi is laughing.
And obviously, Fuuko chose option three – chose neither of the two and just concentrate on what she wants to be – hairstylist for kids to forget about the two cousins and well, from the other girls speaking ill of her. If you are a feminist, you will be happy and say, good for you, who needs men but if you are a romantic, you will say that I didn't read this story for this. I'm starting to wonder if the author plans to have Fuuko end up with no one. ^^;; I guess Daiya’s mother instincts kicked in that she already guessed that the two cousins have fallen hard for Fuuko and are still getting over what happened. At first I thought she was saying that both can’t have girlfriends since they are still hung up with Fuuko but since I read the next chapter, it seems that she did meant they are not to have girlfriends and the current situation is okay as it is. Daiya’s mother seems to be more vocal than Ichi’s since she is doing most of the talking. Regarding Akiou, I guess she is having problems choosing college since it could affect her relationship with Isocchi. The theme of this chapter is like the two crushes of the school can have any girls they want but they both fell for the same girl who right now, doesn’t want to be tied down to them anymore. It is a bit sad that the three got their hearts stolen by each other that they can’t seem to move on without hurting each other.

Still at that waiting shed, Fuuko is still wondering why is Daiya being nice to her. She then says, I’m not your girlfriend and Daiya isn’t my boyfriend. Daiya then gets the towel on her head and turns it over so that the other cooler side is put on her head. Daiya says that even so, she being most important haven’t changed. Daiya blushes a bit and looks away as Fuuko was surprised to hear that and is in tears. The teacher and Ichi has arrived. Ichi has seen them and quickly told the teacher that he will go on ahead. As the teacher asks how is Fuuko, Fuuko sits up to see Ichi quickly leaving the scene. Daiya has also seen Ichi, leaving. Fuuko wonders if Ichi saw the pillow lap. She thought that thinking that she has a dream, she thought that heart matters can be overcome but dream is a dream and love is love.
Everyone has started to eat lunch as Daiya went to Ichi to tell him that Fuuko went home. Daiya asks if he had seen it. Ichi says that he did. Ichi looks as if it wasn’t a big deal as Daiya is irritated. A narration: how can you make something hot into cold. At home, Fuuko’s sister tells her to rest a bit before eating. Fuuko thanks her for fetching and driving her home. Fuuko then goes to bed. She thinks that everyone must be eating lunch by then. It would be okay if Daiya thought her mom’s food is good. Even if her brain doesn’t want to think of Daiya, but her heart still thinks of him. Later on, the two boys goes to her house to return the lunch boxes and thank Fuuko’s mother. Fuuko’s mother says that it is nothing. When, Daiya asks how is Fuuko, Fuuko’s mother quickly grabs Daiya to see Fuuko as she says that it seems that Fuuko is tired so she is still sleeping. Poor Ichi is left alone by the door as he wonders if that means he should go on ahead, then he left.
Daiya enters Fuuko’s room to find her still sleeping as Fuuko’s mother tells him to take his time. He looks at her and then bends down to her as he holds her hair. He lets her hair down and starts to touch Fuuko’s lips. Daiya was surprised when Fuuko suddenly turns to the side. Fuuko then opens her eyes to see the door slightly open. She thinks that it was her sister and she close her eyes, thinking she can’t even have dreams [while sleeping] to forget about Daiya. Daiya is then shown walking away. Later on, Fuuko’s mother was surprised that Fuuko just woke up and nothing happened. Fuuko asks what does she mean. Fuuko’s mother says it was nothing. Fuuko asks again what is it. Fuuko then whines to someone, Mako I think, that she has to eat alone for lunch since she overslept.
At school, some girls called out to Ichi. A girl urges the other to asks it already. Then, the girl stammers as she asks if Ichi has a girlfriend. On cue, Kagechika comes out from the room. [It has been a long time since I saw her but I don’t recall her hair being that long that it actually looks nice on her though it still seems to be Fuuko influenced hairstyle] Kagechika exclaims in hyperactive mode, freshmen, are you trying to confess your feelings to him, well don’t bother because he has a girl he can’t forget. Kagechika then cries as she says that girl isn’t her. The two girls were speechless and decides to leave as Kagechika shouts for them to put the pure feelings in their heart and live for a new life. Kagechika then freaks out as she quickly apologizes to Ichi for she says something that he didn’t ask her to. Kagechika wonders if Ichi doesn’t care for Ichi is by the window, reading something. Ichi looks at her and thanks her. Kagechika starts to cry and that she is touched by his words as Ichi angrily says hey, hey I just thank you.
Narration: If only I can forget. Fuuko is then playing tennis. Fuuko says that she did good at that serve. Akiou says that she has indeed improved then in a whisper, finally. Fuuko didn’t like that last comment but then, she smiles. Akiou then asks if she is alright. Fuuko says that she just got exhausted going up the mountain and she is now better after sleeping. Fuuko is even posing that she is strong. Akiou says that she is not asking about her body. Just then, someone called Akiou to help them in practice. Fuuko then looks at Daiya, playing and says,..I’m alright..I think like this..would be faster. [Not avoiding Daiya] She then gets flustered as she thought, she must forget but. Akiou looks at her worriedly. Just then some girls are screaming. They then apologize for disturbing as everyone is looking at them. Akiou says that they are freshmen who are watching Daiya play and it is the same as last year. Fuuko smiles and says that is because Daiya is good that he has gotten many points but she thinks that this is making forgetting a lot harder. A couple of girls then looks at Fuuko, saying that she seems to be okay [to ask Fuuko something] as Fuuko notices them. The girls then apologizes for interrupting but they want to ask something. Fuuko goes to them. To Fuuko’s surprise, they asks her if Daiya has a girlfriend. Fuuko tried her best to smile and says that he doesn’t. Fuuko thinks that even here, there is a way for her to forget him. Daiya then is looking at her.
This chapter’s theme must be people who likes someone but knew that they can’t get/have them. First it is Ichi who got jealous over that lap pillow then left behind when Fuuko’s mother grabbed Daiya to see Fuuko. In case you forgot, Fuuko haven’t told her mother yet that they broke up. Then, Daiya..from that scene, he obviously still love Fuuko and I thought that he might even steal a kiss if Fuuko didn’t move. Kagechika is still the same being overactive and when Ichi is being nice to her a bit, she goes over the top over it. Obviously, she still likes Ichi. I wondered a bit about the fans looking at Daiya playing as to why Fuuko is surpised by it, isn’t she playing with them before? Anyway, of all people to ask, it is Fuuko. Well, Fuuko is the approachable type. Good thing she handled that well and I wonder Daiya looking at her, means he heard everything.

Ageha goes into the store’s second floor to find boxes of beautiful handmade flowers which are like corsages on the table. Then she sees some sort of catalogue with a note ‘sorry for the trouble’. The catalogue is about different women items like bags, scarf, shoes, etc with the title of winter list [it is already November]. Ageha thought that the women items on the catalogue are cute. She wonders what is it for since the flowers obviously have something to do with the store. Just then, Yukari and Mitsuya came up, looking surprised. Yukari says, has arrived. Ageha says that she just came in when Yukari says that he doesn’t mean her but Natsuna. Ageha was puzzled and wondered who is Natsuna. He says it is the person who helps them by making handmade flowers for the the store as accessories/accents for the gowns. Ageha asked if Natsuna came while they are not there. Ageha got more puzzled when they say no, it isn’t. Yukari says that Natsuna is the type of person who would make sure that they are not there when she comes to secretly deliver the flowers and then leaves. Mitsuya says that it seems to be her talent to come when no one is around. Ageha then says that she is like a fairy as Mitsuya says that she is since Natsuna is able to do her work, there is no problem about how the hand made flowers are brought to them so when everyone is sleeping/gone, she comes out.
Yukari then says that fairies don’t leave such things as he points out to the catalogue. Ageha asks if it has something to do with their work but Yukari says that it is her wish list. Mitsuya explains that when Natsuna shops, she doesn’t like salespeople coming near her so if she thought of something that she wants, she would put in on her list and it is their job to find the items that she want. Yukari complains that the items have to suit her taste. Yukari and Mitsuya scans over the wish list as to where they would find them as Ageha was surprised that they would really try to find the items on the list. At home, Ageha was still thinking about Natsuna being like a fairy while doing her homework. She then remembers a certain bag in the list and thought that it is really cute. She then begins to design a bag like the one she saw.
At VBR, Ageha shows them the bag she made as they were surprised how good it was and Natsuna would like it for it would seem the bag in her wish list had come to life. Ageha says that she just put on her own personal touches [butterfly trademark] to the basic design of the bag. Yukari exclaims that she is really good. He tells Mitsuya to take a picture of it and sent it Natsuna through email and mobile phone to see if it suits her taste. Yukari wonders when Natsuna will see it as Mitsuya hopes that she will like it [else they would have to keep on looking for the items on the wish list]. Ageha then tells them that it is okay if Natsuna doesn’t like it for she actually plans to use it as her own. Yukari says that she is actually a big help and asks if they can hold it for a while until Natsuna replies. Just then Mitsuya’s mobile phone rings and Mitsuya says that it is Natsuna. They were shocked that she can actually reply so fast. Yukari asks what did she say. Mitsuya says that she wanted to see it. Yukari then says that he has to go out and show it to Natsuna as he tells Ageha that he will just call her later that night about the bag.
That night, Yukari told her that Natsuna wants the bag that he left it with her already. Ageha was very happy about it as Yukari says that he really wants to thank her for it. Ageha giggles as she thought that just talking with him on the phone makes her happy. Then, Yukari asks how much is the bag. Ageha was surprised as she explains that it is something that she did because she wanted to and haven’t really thought of the cost of the materials and stuff. Yukari asks what about the other things that she has been doing that she gives to others. Ageha says that it is by trade. Her sister and friends give her snacks, Mamoru treats her lunch, and her sister sometimes gives her clothes, in exchange for the things Ageha gave them. Yukari thought that Ageha is really ‘pure’/innocent [haven’t thought someone might take advantage of her kindness]. Ageha then says that it is enough for her when people likes the things that she made for it really makes her happy. Yukari then smiles and that he will tell Natsuna about it.
At VBR, Tsuyu was surprised that Natsuna wanted the bag that Ageha made. Ageha can’t wait what Natsuna would trade for it and asked Tsuyu if she also knew Natsuna. Tsuyu says that she is one of her friends. Then, Tsuyu says that she would want one of Ageha’s series item/bag while Ageha says that she would want some of the custom made jewelry that Tsuyu makes. Both scream in delight as they thought that it is a good idea [for them to trade]. Below, Yukari tells Mitsuya that they are too loud and he should go up to quiet them when the client arrives. Mitsuya says not to mind them since they are happy. Yukari says not to that extent of noisiness then asks why is he, Mitsuya-sama mode, is being quiet. Mitsuya says that it would be more fun if Tsuyu doesn’t expect when he will go tease her. Upstairs, Ageha says that it seems Mitsuya is quiet that day as Tsuyu says that it actually makes her feel a bit lonely. Ageha thought, is that so?! Then, Ageha comments that Tsuyu has been coming to the store more frequently. Tsuyu says that she gets herself to go since she wanted to see Mitsuya but when she sees him, she loses her courage but since Ageha says ‘go for it/ganbatte’ and that she sees Ageha actually doing it since their [Ageha and Yukari] relationship is quite good that she wanted to be like them since Ageha is really striving her best. Ageha cries to herself and went into thinking that she isn’t doing her best and it is more like she is trying to escape and that she is so scared that she can’t get herself to confess as she thought that being with Yukari is enough for her and she is working hard there for isn’t her work the reason/alibi why she goes to the store. Tsuyu then asks if she said something that made Ageha looked frustrated. Ageha denies it.
Tsuyu says that when she has to move away, she doesn’t have the courage to confess to Mitsuya but she accepted that the past cannot be changed. She had already taken the first step and now has arrived there, she hopes to change herself to be stronger but she is still scared how it would make her look. Ageha thought that doing this [falling for someone] can really make one uneasy but one should do what one can at the moment. Ageha then holds Tsuyu’s hands thanking her that she will not go away from that goal [getting Yukari]. Ageha was shocked when Yukari asks from behind what goal is it. Ageha asked for how long is he standing there as Yukari told her he just came in. Yukari then asks Tsuyu to go down since there is a client. When he says Ageha’s name, Ageha quickly apologizes for being noisy. Yukari says that it is okay if she knows and then he gives her a small package. Ageha asks what is it as Yukari told her to open it. Ageha opened it and it is a handmade flower which Natsuna is giving her as an exchange for the bag. Ageha asks where will she use it as Yukari then took the flower and put it on Ageha’s hair. Yukari says that no matter where she puts/uses it, it will look good. Tsuyu agrees as she comments that Ageha looks cute. Ageha then wonders what kind of person Natsuna is. Some place kind of workplace, Mitsuya calls Natsuna asking if she is feeling okay. Natsuna says that she made a mistake in answering the phone and now she is going to hang up. Mitsuya asks her to wait then says that she haven’t changed, sneakily going to the store. Natsuna says that she already went when they aren’t around. Mitsuya says isn’t that going about sneakily, enough about that, he heard that she had decided that she wanted the bag that Ageha made and that Ageha is really happy about the flower that she gave her. Mitsuya asks what does she think of Ageha. Natsuna bluntly says, I don’t like [her] while looking at the flowers she is making.
And, what Natsuna looks like is finally shown. She seems to be anti-social since she has to ask Yukari and Mitsuya to buy things for her. It is really a bit unrealistic or well, lucky of Ageha that no one has take advantage of her kindness as she would gladly accept being treated out for the things that she made for her sister and friends. Of course, if it is a business, she would have become broke really soon. Tsuyu has become really good friends with Ageha that she isn’t embarrassed or shy with her. Ageha is really a bishoujo, everything looks pretty on her. ^^; It took some time for me to realize that Ageha didn’t get hired in VBR for her bags but more on just helping in making the gowns and other misc work.

Weekly Shounen Manga Update: Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, D. Gray-man and Gantz

Everyone was surprised at Kakashi’s attack and they all thought he was really great in Naruto [c. 334]. Kakashi then pulled his hand out of Kakuzu who collapsed on the ground. He then goes for Hidan. To Kakashi’s surprise, Kakuzu is still alive and kicked him away. Everyone was puzzled as to how come he is still alive. Hidan told Kakuzu to finish it up already. Kakuzu then removed his coat to reveal his scarred body with lots of stitches and four beast shaped mask on his back. The masks then went out of his body. Just then Hidan is able to move again as Shikamaru’s hold on him using his shadow has expired. Hidan told Kakuzu that they ought to finish them. The four masks turned into large creatures but one of them fell on the ground, somewhat melting. Hidan says that one of them is really dead. Kakashi then realized that when he hit Kakuzu, it was that mask who got hit. Hidan then went off to attack Kakashi with one of the creatures as his back-up. Just then, Shikamaru and Chouji was about to be attacked but Kakashi blocked it. Kakashi realized that the masked creatures are quite powerful that they have elements – lightning, earth and wind. Hidan praised Kakashi to have survived that attack. Kakuzu asks if he can evade the next one. I guess these two Akatsuki isn’t easy to kill and now, the tables are turned at Kakashi and others.
Some random hollow servant reports to Aizen about Dordoni’s defeat in Bleach [c. 255]. Gin is there with him. Aizen says that it didn’t finish faster than he thought and then asks the servant is there anything else he forgot to report like who ordered the execution squad in. The servant couldn’t say even if Aizen is already showing off his power to scare the poor guy. A glasses guy then came and apologize, saying that it was him for he wanted to defeat those who try to go against Aizen. Aizen forgives him and as he was about to leave, Aizen told him that he wants complete reports. As glasses guy is about to leave, Aizen asked if the ‘spirit trace/reiatsu’ he got from the intruder [Ichigo] will be useful for research. Glasses guy was surprised as he look sideways and said it was. Aizen says if that is so, that’s good. After he left, Gin told him that Aizen seemed happy even if his men got defeated. Aizen asked if he looked happy. Gin asked isn’t it so for he looked happy when he learned that those kids have invaded and are making progress [not killed]. Aizen’s face look soften and asked isn’t it weird to feel that way. Gin says it isn’t for he also feels the same way.
Then to Ishida’s fight, he is trying to run away as he evade the enemy’s attack. The enemy is a girl – wearing some sort of fairy-like costume and weapon which is like a whip with a round disc thing in the rope. [Actually, it reminded me of a toy we used to have ^^; somewhat like a yoyo] Ishida tried to use his weapon as a shield but it was useless since he got hit. Behind him, someone is looking. My guess that it is one of Neru’s hollow friend as one is still unaccounted for. I find the first part interesting. It goes to show that one of the espada, glasses guy, is doing something from behind Aizen. I’m guessing that he doesn’t know Tousen is spying on everyone. I’m assuming Tousen was the one who informed Aizen about the incident [sending the execution squad and Ichigo’s reiatsu for experiment] that they covered up. From this, Aizen doesn’t trust his hollow comrades as well some try to ‘rebel’ against him. Glasses guy really looked like someone who will betray people. I somehow can’t take him seriously since he was drawn with pink hair. ^^;; It is amusing how close Gin is with Aizen that he can actually tell that Aizen is ‘happy’. I guess working with Aizen for such a long time would make him know Aizen more than others. I wonder what experiment are they doing.
Franky still hesitates in joining Strawhats in One Piece [c. 437] that he even proudly poses half-naked. Everyone calls him a pervert but Luffy thought he was really a man among men. Robin decides to help by using her powers to grab Franky’s private parts. [I’m embarrassed just typing this chapter ^^;] Robin told him to give them at least a good reason why they should let him go. Franky says that he still has something to do on Water 7 and he already finished his ‘dream ship’. Iceberg corrects him by saying that when they were young, Franky says that his dream ship would have passed through all the seas and he would be a shipwright on it by doing so, he can surpass Tom. Iceberg tells him that Tom has forgiven him so he can move on with his life. Franky has banded all the bandits together in the back alley to protect Water 7 that Tom loves as a way to make up for what had happened. Iceberg says that he has also forgiven him so Franky should forgive himself already and move on with his life to fulfill his dream. Franky is already about to cry when Franky family brought to him his bag. They asks for forgiveness for trying to steal his pants and even if they are stupid, they can still think of wanting their boss to find happiness. Franky then fakes to be crying in pain from Robin as he tries to mask the reason why he is crying. Then, there is a series of flashbacks on how he banded together the people from back alley to become Franky family. Franky family then says that they will be okay and they would always be brothers. Just then, Zoro and Sanji are running as they shout for the others to prepare to sail since Garp came back and were looking for them while in attack formation. Luffy wondered why but they say they don’t know and just to hurry. Sanji was surprise that Franky doesn’t have his pants on that Luffy remembered so Luffy tossed the pants back to Franky. Luffy then asks him again to come up to his ship. Franky then says that he will join them since it would be such a waste for the ship if they don’t have a descent shipwright. Everyone was happy as Franky family cries as Franky goes on board, saying goodbye to everyone in his thoughts. Well, that is quite a different way to get a nakama. I guess the author wanted the ‘joining’ to be different yet the same. I wonder why Garp came back though and well, I’m assuming that Usopp is already on the ship.
Rabi uses his hammer – wood seal to stand on a tower as a strong wind blows all the keys to him as he looks for the real key in D. Gray-man [c. 101]. The two Noahs wondered if he is a member of Bookman’s clan. They then got irritated as they remembered Cross upon seeing Rabi’s red hair. Suddenly a huge blob of creatures grabbed them and forms into a skull, trying to eat them. Rinali tries to help them but ended up being hostage by the two Noahs. Allen gets angry that he breaks free from the blob and attacks. The two Noahs then summon the Earl. Allen was surprised that the attacks were the same as it hurts when he got hit. Lero, the umbrella, then says that the power of the two Noahs is to create an illusion from a reality when they thought of something at the same time like when they think of an ice attack, it becomes real. Too bad Rinali is still a ‘damsel in distress’ but then, it is good that Allen diverts their attention while Rabi looks for the key. To defeat the Noahs, they would have to use their brains [like Cross] to trick them for just plain attacking power won’t do.
While the city is in blackout, maid androids has started to march out as civilians try to flee in Gintama [c. 144]. There are some soliders trying to stop them as more destruction happen around the city. The maid androids then surrounded the old man’s shop. Out came a tank, as Gin and others try to escape. The maids then try to run after them as the old man told Kagura to use her umbrella. She did and it fired a blast at the maids. She tried to use it again but out came soy sauce. The old man says that it is because there is no electricity so it became soy sauce. Gin and Kagura asks why soy sauce. Some more maids tried to attack them as the old man told Gin to use his sword. Gin did only to find it sprouting out soy sauce too. In the end, Gin just uses it the usual way. Then they rant about soy sauce and some other food. They then drove the tank into a sewage hole as the old man says that the thing absorbing the electricity is in there where Ryuyama has his base.
Then a huge mop mascot girl tries to attack them. They called out to mop girl but it seemed that old man modified her into a cd player as she ate a cd and started singing. The mascot then breaks the pipe that they are using as a road and started to fall. They grabbed on Sadaharu as the old man and the tank fell down. His last words was for Gin to save Ryuyama and the maids for they are crying. Oh, I think they put in Tamago’s memory into mop girl. She then remembers some things which are about the process on moving Ryuyama’s daughter’s memory to the machine and something seemed to have happened. Just then, mascot girl grabs hold of the pipe that they were in. Kagura uses her umbrella to make a hole and blasted the head of the mascot. While riding on Sadaharu, she went off to thrash the head into pieces as Gin and mop girl escapes from the pipe. Unfortunately, Kagura and Sadaharu fall down. Gin tries to save them but mop girl stops him saying that it isn’t necessary for they are still alive. As Ryuyama says about not being lonely anymore and now, he will turn the world into robots/androids, just for her, he will make the country. Just then, Gin says he is mistaken for it isn’t for his daughter, for everything is just for him since he is the one who is lonely. Shinpachi then shouts for Gin. He is being held hostage or guinea pig. Ryuyama then calls out for mop girl for he was waiting. She thought that before, her duty is to make his daughter happy but now, it is to destroy him, the android. Geez, I’m really lost in some parts. Oh well, the next chapter would seem to be the conclusion.
Nothing much happened in Gantz [c. 239]. The little boy got transferred first as they told him to just stay put and wait for them. But when the boy got transferred, a scary looking geisha is approaching him. It must be the alien they have to kill. Obviously, the boy runs that when everyone got transferred, they couldn’t find him. Katou decides that they run around to find the boy but Reika [idol] says that it would be better to leave the boy to Kaze [muscle man]. The old man [Suzuki] asks if it is okay to trust the vampires since they killed Kei. Katou says that even if he hates them for it, the important thing now is to earn points. Just as they went out of the alley where they were transferred, they were shock to learn that they are no longer in Tokyo but in Osaka. Mm, I wonder if the boy is still alive though. Death rates in this series is quite high. I won’t be surprised though if the ‘game’ would later on involved the whole world.

In VBR, Ageha, while working, is telling Tsuyu what had happened in the school festival that Yukari and Mitsuya made really cute aprons and she would want Tsuyu to see them. Tsuyu says that it is because she fears people though she would have loved to go with Ageha. Ageha then asked what is their school like and how did she met Yukari. Tsuyu then says that in first year high school, they aren’t in the same class but then, they met during autumn. One day while walking in the hallway absentmindedly, she got bumped by another student and her bag of beads fell all over the place. She quickly tries to get the beads when to her frustration, the other students kept on walking and crushing the beads. Since her brain tends to go blank when she is with a lot of people, she just tried to get all the beads and not tell the people to stop walking on them. Then, she noticed that someone is standing in front of her. It was young Yukari who shouted for everyone to stop stepping on the beads and not to get near the area. Tsuyu was surprised as in front of her is this guy, more beautiful than some girls, helping her by shouting at people to stop walking. Tsuyu tries to thank him when he shouted for her not to stand there absentmindedly. He says that picking them one by one, would take such a long time. He then went to a classroom to borrow a broom and a dustpan as he swept the beads and put it in her bag again together with all the dust and dirt on the floor. He then says that he will help separate them later on after class. Tsuyu ends happily about how Yukari being so nice and all as Ageha thought that it is so ‘Yukari-like’ for him to do that.
Just then, she was hit on the head by Yukari who told her not to get into other people’s business. Ageha childishly says that Yukari doesn’t treat people nicely. Later on, the two are childishly fighting each other as Tsuyu looks on and then thought that it is a good thing that she met Yukari for it turned out he is good friends with Mitsuya. Just then, Mitsuya appears behind her, saying so you have come, Tsuyu, how did you come here by car or by bus. Tsuyu tries to escape but Mitsuya already grabbed her by her bag. They then went around the table as Mitsuya casually asks her things like if you want tea, etc as Tsuyu tries to get away from him. Ageha asks won’t Yukari stop Mitsuya from teasing Tsuyu. Yukari says that Mitsuya in –sama mode is a villain [something like Yukari can’t compete/don’t want to be an enemy with] and there are other story behind it. Ageha wanted to know about it that she asks for him to tell her more about his high school days but Yukari says that he doesn’t hear what she is saying and he doesn’t like to discuss about himself. Mitsuya notices this.
Later on, Mitsuya tells Yukari who is sewing to rest a bit since he seemed tired and it would be better if he continue tomorrow. Mitsuya pats his head and told him to go to sleep already. To Mitsuya’s surprise, Yukari bumps his head on the sewing machine. Yukari says that he has been thinking about things. Mitsuya brought it out that he has been like that ever since Ryuu said something about Ageha being uneasy and if it is his fault – he can’t take the relationship a step further. Mitsuya asks if does he really think Ageha is uneasy. Yukari says that he doesn’t. Mitsuya then says how about he confess already but Yukari says that he can’t get himself to say it. Mitsuya asks if breaking up with Natsuna really hurt him that much. Yukari replies it is better to say ‘absolutely’ and that hitting that point, one cannot continue anymore since he is the reason why Natsuna is hurting emotionally. [Ah, it is like being together, hurts Natsuna that they have to break up] Mitsuya asks if that is the reason why he said ‘cannot take it a step further’. Yukari says that he fears that he will also cause Ageha the same kind of pain as with Natsuna.
Mitsuya then pats his shoulder and tells him that Yukari is already 23 years old, why is he still like that as if he is a girl being rejected and still wallowing on it. Yukari told him not to tease him when he is troubled. Yukari complains that he also doesn’t like what he had turned into, he would be like that, too if he had gone through what he had went through. Mitsuya says that Yukari became conscious about the past just because Ryuu had mentioned about it. Yukari then mentions that he had glared at some people trying to ‘hit’ on Ageha. Mitsuya says that he is already at the door. Yukari asked, what door. Mitsuya says the door of love. Yukari told him to don’t say those girly things. Mitsuya then asks if now knows about what he meant about ‘green bird of happiness’. Yukari looks away as Mitsuya says hehehe, you know already. Yukari blushes as he told Mitsuya to quit teasing him. Mitsuya then says that if it weren’t for Ryuu, Yukari won’t felt threatened/not himself and told him that he shouldn’t worry too much about it, just let Ageha help ‘rehabilitate’ [to get over the past] him and everything will be okay. Somehow, that made Yukari relieved as the next day, he isn’t avoiding Ageha anymore. Mitsuya asks about the bag she is making and Ageha is happy that they would get to show the bag to the client next week.
The client then tests out the dress they made and was very pleased about it. They then showed the bag that Ageha made and the client was very happy about it as she thanked them for making the dress and bag which are very cute. Ageha blushes as she holds on to Yukari’s sleeve saying, as she says that she also thanks the client [for giving her opportunity to make the bag, I guess] as she was really happy to hear what the client feels about it. Yukari then smiles at her and told her not to just stand there for that now she knows the feeling of work done well, she should continue on the other jobs as Ageha says, she will. Nothing much happened in this chapter with just how Yukari and Tsuyu met and how Mitsuya get Yukari to relax a bit after what Ryuu said had made him uneasy for he feared he might repeat the same mistake he did in the past with Ageha. As Mitsuya pointed out, Yukari is already at love’s door and he just needs an extra push to confess to Ageha.

Outside the classroom, Yukari asks Mitsuya what are they actually doing there [school festival]. Mitsuya answers isn’t to be feel like students again. Just then, Shizuya came out to thank his brother for helping them and that he actually seemed cool. Mitsuya happily glomps Shizuya as Yukari told Ageha for her to spit out what she wants to say. She then also thanked them for helping out in making the aprons and then she says that it is really great and looks good on the girls. Yukari says that it is simple since he was asked to make waitress uniform during his high school festival so he remembers how it feels to help others. Ageha happily says that she likes that idea as Yukari wonders what is she really so happy about. Then noticed that Ageha went quiet so he asked what is the matter. She then screams that now she knows what to do and tells him that the bag she is making for the client will be finished soon. She says that while she is with Yukari, she will also have that kind of feeling, too and she won’t lose to him. Yukari then playful pats her head to do her best.
Mamoru then came out and told Ageha that she has to dress out of the waitress outfit. Ageha says okay and asked Yukari if he is still free [to wait]. Yukari says that he has as long as Ririko doesn’t call them back yet. Ageha being energetic that day says that she will buy some drinks for them. While still hugging lifeless Shizuya, Mitsuya asks if Ageha left. Yukari wonders if Ageha will get lost. Ageha is in a good mood since she was with Yukari that she hums while going downstairs. Two boys then took notice of her and would wanted to talk to her since she seems alone. As they were about to call her, Yukari calls out to her. The two boys got nervous as Yukari walks down to Ageha, bumping her then glared at the two boys as they backed off. Yukari thought that they should wait a hundred years [before trying that on Ageha] as Ageha cluelessly asks what’s wrong. Yukari thought that Ageha seems to be clueless at guys who are getting fresh on her/take advantage of her and wonders if Mamoru is her ‘bodyguard’ against those kind of people. Yukari then asks if Ageha knows where to buy the drinks and she said yes. Yukari wanted to go with her but then wonders if he is being overprotective and is like a dictator – controlling her that after much effort [self-control], he pats her shoulder and tells her to be careful. Ageha misunderstood this and told him she can carry 2-3 cans of juice so he doesn’t have to worry about her. Yukari goes back upstairs as Ageha goes down. Ryuu has seen what happened.
As Ageha just got two cans of drinks [softdrink/cola and tea], Ryuu went to her. Ageha asks if he wants some drinks too. Ryuu said no and then asked, if she haven’t confessed to Yukari yet. This shocked Ageha that she dropped the cans of drinks she was holding. Ageha freaks out for when the softdrink is opened, the contents will pour out and then calms down that she haven’t. Ryuu asks if it is because she can’t say it as Ageha nods repeatedly. She then says that she shouldn’t say it. She then thought that she had thought about it and that presently, things are good and happy and she doesn’t want things to turn out bad. She then sadly told Ryuu that she doesn’t want to stop going to the store. [I think she fears that if he turned her down, their relationship would not be the same as before and she can’t work there anymore as it would be awkward.] Ryuu then quietly says that she be careful as Ageha asks what is it again. Ryuu asked if she is alright as Ageha says that she is. He apologized for asking such a strange question as Ageha says that she doesn’t mind and since it is Ryuu, she felt a bit embarrassed about it. She says that she is okay now. Ryuu then asked if she has taken a picture of Mamoru on her waitress outfit as Ageha exclaims that would be a nice. Then, Ryuu puts on a hat on her then to her surprise, takes her picture. Ageha then playfully asks Ryuu if she took her picture as Ryuu denies it but says it is cute. Ageha says that he is like Mamoru this way and where did he kept that camera. Ryuu says it is a secret.
Ageha then calls Yukari on his mobile phone, apologizing that she has to do something. Yukari says it is okay for she is with her friend, Mamoru. Ageha then gleefully tells Mamoru that Yukari said it is okay as Mamoru says that they should then take pictures. To Yukari’s dismay, Ageha told him that she asked Ryuu to bring the drinks to them. Yukari’s mood darken as he wished she haven’t asked Ryuu. Ryuu has already arrived, smiling. Ageha then says that she will be back really quickly as Yukari thought she better come back soon. As Ryuu gives them their drinks, Ryuu told Mitsuya to wait a bit before opening the softdrink since Ageha has accidentally shook it. Yukari, still scared, took the tea and hoped it isn’t poisoned. Mitsuya is trying to cheer Yukari to do his best [to act normal, I guess and not be too scared]. Ryuu then says that Ageha does her best no matter what it is, and it is like that ever since the start. Ryuu then says that it is the same with liking a person which surprised Yukari. Then, with dark mood, Ryuu then says but looking at Ageha, she seems to be uneasy. This stunned Yukari who has flashbacks of 1.) Ageha saying it is good that Yukari is back to normal, 2.) Yukari saying that having this [love] feeling will hurt people and can make the two people ‘confused’, 3.) someone [his mother?] saying, standing at the opposite side like that looks pitiful, and 4.) a dark haired girl telling him, “Ah – Yukari, the two of us, why did we become a couple?” Ryuu then smiles and apologizes for saying such things. Mitsuya noticed that Yukari looked stunned. Ryuu then says they seem to be pretty busy that they even came here, hope you do your best in your work.
Just then, Ageha and Mamoru came back. Ageha told Yukari that they should also take pictures together as she apologize and that she came back as quickly as she can. Ageha thanked Ryuu that she had fun taking pictures with his camera. Ageha asks about the softdrink if it is okay then noticed that Yukari has spaced out. Mitsuya then says that he has the softdrink. She then suggests shaking it then giving it to Shizuya. Mitsuya thought it is a nice idea and starts shaking the can of softdrink. They then calls out to Shizuya. Ryuu then tells his sister that Yukari is a strange person for he said earlier that they [siblings] have ‘talent’. Mamoru answers yes. He then asks if that is the world that Ageha is in now. She says yes and asks if he is scared. Mamoru pauses and then smiles. He says not really for this is not yet time to say he is, there is still a chance as he looks at Ageha standing near Yukari. Yukari then calls her name as Ageha asks what is it. Ageha then wonders if she is too near him but then she doesn’t want to leave. Yukari then remembers Ryuu saying that Ageha is uneasy so he just says it is nothing. Yukari looked a bit ‘dark’ lonely sad.
Obviously, Ryuu doesn’t want to give Ageha up yet though he is close to conceding as her sister did. He managed to use the camera to get Ageha away while he talked with Yukari. Yukari’s past memories on ‘love’ has haunted him and I guess he was thinking that Ageha was uneasy because of his affection for her and that Ageha could not have the same feelings so she might not return his affections to him. Yukari has become protective of Ageha who is oblivious about the guys who want to ‘hit’ on her. This chapter seems to suggest that she doesn’t know of such dangers thanks to Mamoru who is her ‘bodyguard’. It seems as if Mamoru and Ryuu tend to screen the ones who get close to Ageha for they can easily scare off the people with bad intentions on her. The suggestion of shaking the softdrink is Ryuu’s idea as he said to do it on Mitsuya as revenge on Shizuya but then, Shizuya is Ageha’s ‘enemy’ so she suggested that to Mitsuya. Hehehe Well, it does seem that some things happened in the past that made Yukari really reluctant to confess to Ageha and it does seem that he was rejected.

Then, it is the day of Mamoru’s school festival. Ageha, Yukari and Mitsuya went. Ageha was looking at the map/booklet wondering where Mamoru’s class would be as Yukari pulls her to stop walking when she is reading. As Ageha was looking at the map, she was thinking about what does it [Yukari hugging her] mean. Is it what she think it is but then, in the end, she just thought that it is like Yukari hugging his brother and that maybe Yukari is treating her as a kid because Yukari seems normal now and he acts as if nothing has happened so she doesn’t want to ask him. Ageha then noticed that the female students are looking their way as she thought that it is because she is with two gorgeous guys. Since Ageha is lost and accidentally crumpled the map, she went to ask the girls where Mamoru’s class is. Mitsuya and Yukari realized that Ageha is beautiful [bishoujo] for the male students are also looking their way. They thought that the girls Ageha asked for directions were also smitten by Ageha since Ageha’s aura is being friendly. Finally, they found it and Mamoru is running a small café. After Mamoru and Ageha exchange their greetings, Mamoru then smiled at the two guys and told them to sit down. They then thought as if Mamoru is giving off bad vibes at them as Mamoru looks away that they will get it if they made Ageha cry.
Mamoru calls out to Shizuya that his brother is here. When Shizuya came out, he exclaims argh, Yukari. Yukari then strangles him not to have such an expression when they meet and that he should be smiling. Then, Zero came out and they were all introduced as they were picking what to eat from the menu. Shizuya tries to tease Zero that his siblings came and glomped him but then Zero hit him with a tray to shut him up since it is embarrassing. Everyone then thought that no wonder he is Manyou’s brother. As the three goof around while choosing what to order, Ryuu then came in to greet them. Yukari’s expression darken to fear as he thought, Ryuu will drop by. Ageha then exchange some conversation with Ryuu about this outfit [sailor] and that there class is doing a play. Ageha then says that she will go to his class after leaving there. Ageha then asked how did he know she was there. Mamoru came out with glasses of water said that she told him to come here at once or you will regret it. Mamoru says that she is happy that he came though the others thought it seemed that Mamoru threatened him to come. Ageha then calls for Ryuu to sit with them as Ryuu obliges. Yukari tries to keep calm and not get too jealous as Mitsuya is telling him to do his best.
Then some girls called out to Mamoru and it turned out that their outfit were ruined by someone accidentally kicked a can of paint/varnish on them when they were walking by. Yukari and Mitsuya then decided to help by asking for some materials and they made aprons to cover up the stains on their outfits. The girls liked it as Zero exclaims that they made it so fast. Shizuya then admits that it is the second time he has seen it. Mamoru thanked them as Yukari says it isn’t a big deal as long as everyone is happy. Everyone was happy as Ageha looks at him. He asks what it is but Ageha can’t say it. Yukari then also gave an apron to Mamoru as she thought what now, she is getting to have good vibes for Yukari as Zero asks if that means she now approves of him. And so, they all went to the school festival. Nothing much here except that Yukari managed to win some points to make Mamoru approve of him for Ageha. It is really amusing that Yukari and Mitsuya ‘fears’ the two siblings – Mamoru and Ryuu.

At the car, Mitsuya asked if Yukari’s heart is feeling ‘narrow’ as Yukari was silent in the car then, he groans and says that he was childish back there. Mitsuya laughs at him. Yukari says that when he saw Ageha with Ryuu, his feelings went crazy. Mitsuya says that Ageha will think something of it [Ageha has a tendency to let her imagination go wild] as Yukari tells him not to remind him of it. Back at home, Ageha was thinking what made Yukari angry – was it because she forgot to tell him about the school festival or was it some embroidery that he doesn’t like. Ageha kept on thinking about Yukari’s words, sorry, Ageha, goodbye. Then, Ageha thought it could be: sorry, Ageha, I thought of your feelings as troublesome, goodbye. Ageha then freaks out as later on, she calms down and thought of something. At VBR, Yukari hears someone coming up the stairs and calls out for Mitsuya that he will be finished and would want a cup of tea. To his shock, it was Ageha, carrying a tray of snacks and drinks [tea]. Ageha then says that she met Mitsuya downstairs who told her to prepare some tea for it is around that time when Yukari would want to drink one.
Then, Yukari looked at his watch to see it is already 8pm and shouts at Ageha that he told her to call him if she is coming this late. Ageha says that she doesn’t want to bother him. Yukari shouts that he will be worried. Ageha says not to worry for Oohara was the one who drove her there. Yukari then asks what is the matter as Ageha says that it seemed when Yukari left, he isn’t himself. Yukari was shocked and downcast as Ageha asks what is the matter. Yukari then thought that it is because he left that way and Ageha really is thinking about it that she came to ask him about it. Yukari thought that the only thing he can say at a time like this is... But then, Ageha beat him to it as Ageha is saying sorry for telling others that Yukari would be able to go to the school festival without even informing him. Yukari says it is okay for he will go so Ageha is really happy about it. Ageha then talked about her sister and Oohara being lovey-dovey and asked why Yukari is smiling at them. Yukari says that he was reminded of when his father and Ririko were like that, looking really happy and it feels great when seeing people happy. Ageha then asks isn’t Yukari’s work like that, making wedding gowns, etc, would make people happy so his work is really great. Upon seeing Ageha smiling, Yukari then asks if he should continue. Ageha asked what it is. Yukari says if he can do it [confess to her/have a family?]. Ageha was surprised as Yukari is looking at her as Yukari then passes it off as a joke and thanked her for saying that. Ageha told him not to say weird things. Yukari then says that seeing them, reminded him of his family. Ageha then thought that Yukari is in good terms with his family then remembers about Yukari’s mother. She went into thinking that Yukari says that he is grateful for her to give birth to him and there are still things she wants to ask but is it okay. Yukari then pinches her face as he told her to stop thinking things to herself and just say it.
Ageha then blurted it out about his mother as Yukari was a bit speechless that Ageha was thinking she shouldn’t have brought it up. Yukari then says that his mother always give him a birthday gift every year and there is something for everyone. His father told him to thank even if it is a small thing or not but he always get an answering machine. Yukari then freaks out why is it saying ‘I’m not home’, when are you home anyway and it is the same every year. Yukari sighs that he doesn’t understand how that person thinks and that it became some sort of a joke in their family. Ageha apologizes for bringing that up as she thought she better bring up a different topic. Ageha then asks when is his birthday. He says that it is on Dec 20. Ageha says it is four days before Christmas eve. Yukari then says she just said the same thing as his mother. Ageha apologizes for she had tried to talk about other things – not about his mother. She then told him that her birthday is on Dec 31. Yukari says it is New year’s eve as Ageha says it is and that she came out the same time as the cake and noodles. I don’t quite get the joke but Yukari is laughing hard. Ageha then suggests that they have a birthday party on December.
She happily tells Yukari that it will be a joyous occasion since it is like Christmas, they can give gifts and eat cake so at least this time, he won’t have that bad feeling [about the past regarding his bad experience on his birthday] and would smile a bit more [create happier memories]. Yukari then thought that Ageha doesn’t know his feelings for her but then, why can she, whe she is with him, can say things that make him happy. He then asked if she is saying that just to comfort him up for what he said earlier. Ageha asks if he actually want someone to comfort him. When Yukari realized that Ageha is teasing him, he hugged her from behind as he says, why you. Ageha then laughs saying that it seemed that Yukari went back to his calm self. This surprised Yukari as he remembers Mitsuya words about ‘green bird happiness’ on love. To Ageha’s surprise, Yukari is hugging her as he somewhat begin to realize how it feels to love, will he be confident, Ageha is still here/haven’t left. Ageha calls out to him when he isn’t letting go, she then pulls away as she is really embarrassed and looks at Yukari timidly says this is sexual harassment. Yukari laughs and thought that he just doesn’t want to let go.
Yukari did left immediately in the last chapter since he was really jealous of Ageha being with Ryuu and he did realize this. I do wonder why he didn’t apologize to Ageha about it earlier like calling her or something but then, well, that would be awkward as to how is he going to explain it to her without telling her that he was jealous. Since Ageha is the type to have hyper-active imagination, she decided to go and ask about it rather than ponder about it all night. Mitsuya deliberately let the two alone to talk things out about the misunderstanding. The last scene somewhat puzzled me a bit. I’m guessing that Ageha is teasing Yukari about it being sexual harassment and well, even if she does like Yukari, I guess she doesn’t want things to be too intimate especially if they aren’t lovers. Actually, I myself won't know how to react like if a guy I like is hugging me though it is playfully done, yet we are not lovers, would I let him or not? ^^; As usual, Yukari is really falling for Ageha but can’t seem to confess yet.

At VBR store, Ageha tells Yukari and Mitsuya that Madoka was born though she looked like a monkey, she is still cute. Mitsuya and Yukari thought, like a monkey. Ageha then says that it is quite early than expected so would they want to listen to her story. Flashback: Two nights ago at around 7pm, Makoto suddenly tells the family that her stomach feels strange. Everyone was shock and went into panic mode. Both Ageha and Oohara simultaneously ask if the baby is coming out. Makoto thought that she knows they are worried but she felt like laughing at their expressions. They thought that she should go to the hospital so Oohara accompanied Makoto. At around 12:10 am, Ageha and her father is worried about Oohara when they had a phone call. It turned out that Makoto had already given birth and it is a girl whom they named Madoka. Ageha then says that she hopes that Madoka grows up fast so that they can play together. Mitsuya then asks what she would like Madoka to call her. Ageha says Ageha-chan, isn’t it cute. Mitsuya and Yukari then started calling each other with a –chan.
Mitsuya then says how about they go for a visit when they are free as Ageha suggest that they visit to their house when she is finished with her mid-term exams and that Makoto wanted to see them. Mitsuya then glomps Ageha that he wanted to go as Yukari quickly separates them. Mitsuya then teases Yukari being jealous and does he want to be hugged, too. Yukari then strangles Mitsuya for it as Ageha says that it is okay if they can’t go. Yukari says that they will go for they didn’t say they won’t. Then, he asked why does they have to wait after her midterms. Ageha says that she will be lonely if she is left out studying. Yukari smiles and says if that is the case, it is okay. As they went back to work, Ageha thought that being close to Yukari, he is nice and she feels happy. Then she went on freak out mode thinking what was that about Yukari putting his head on her before, then reprimands herself to concentrate on work. The two guys wondered what is up with her as Ageha told them with determination that she has to pass the midterms.
After the midterms, the two went to Ageha’s house as Ageha and Oohara greeted them cheerfully. They were surprised why Oohara is at home as he says that he has taken the day off. Then, Makoto greeted them as they looked at the baby and give their congratulations. Then, they showed the things that Ageha made for the baby – a colorful small teddy bear and a bag for the things of the baby. Yukari then took Ageha aside to tell her to look at Makoto and Oohara, happy about the bag to think of this feeling when she makes people happy with her works. Then, Yukari and Mitsuya gave them some baby clothes where they made themselves. Ageha noticed that Yukari is looking at the couple, smiling. Just then, someone is ringing the door bell as Ageha went to answer it, thinking it was her sister’s visitors. Just when Yukari is about to leave, to his shock, the visitors were Mamoru and Ryuu who just finished their exams, too. Ryuu then smiles at the two guys and told them to go to their school festival. Ageha then screamed that she forgot to tell Mitsuya and Yukari about it. Then, Yukari looks at Ageha and Ryuu who even made a pinky promise that Ageha will go to their school festival.
Just then, Yukari’s phone rang and it was Ririko so they have to head back to the store. They then bid them goodbye as Ageha tries to still talk properly to Yukari, they had already left without him looking at her, just saying, sorry Ageha, goodbye. Just then, Ryuu asked if Ageha and Yukari are a couple. Ageha was shocked by what he said as Makoto asked if it is true. Ageha says that it isn’t for it is a one-sided love. Ageha then thought that for now she is happy but what if she becomes closer to Yukari, what then. Ryuu then says that it seems that the feeling for now is. Ageha didn’t hear it and asks him what it was as he said nothing. Ageha looked a bit confused, Ryuu is thinking while the two guys were driving away.
And finally, Makoto has given birth and they used the name both she and Ageha has chosen which is Madoka. It is amusing how much Yukari actually fears Ryuu. I guess those evil vibes really scare Yukari. Ageha is still clueless over how Yukari feels over her even if it is obvious that he is jealous. Yukari leaving without a proper goodbye has made Ageha confused if he really likes her or not.

While the Akatsuki were caught, Shikamaru then uses his shadow to manipulate Hidan into attacking Kakuzu in Naruto [c. 333]. Kakuzu managed to use his severed arm to remove free himself so that he can evade the attack. Shikamaru doesn’t mind this and continue to use Hidan to attack Kakuzu. Chouji then goes on to smash in Kakuzu who was cornered but Kakuzu has used a special stance though Kakashi is watching him. Meanwhile, Naruto almost got his new technique as Yamato told him about which element is powerful, etc. Naruto is glad that he is wind for it is a ‘compliment’ of Sasuke’s fire. Back to the fight, Shikamaru realized that Kakuzu’s hidden ability is to harden his body as Kakuzu gloats that physical attacks are useless. Just then, to everyone’s surprise, Kakashi attacked him by piercing through his chest with a lightning attack. Kakashi told him that he is unlucky for earth element people like Kakuzu are no match for him who uses lightning. From the way, everyone reacted, they didn’t expect Kakashi to do that so only Hidan remains.
In Bleach [c. 254], Dorduni remembered being ousted from being an espada when more powerful arrancars where made. When he woke up, he found Neru spitting on him. Ichigo told him that Neru’s spit has some healing abilities. Dorduni then admitted that he wanted to see Ichigo’s hollow just because it could prove that he can still be an espada but it turned out that Ichigo is more powerful than him. Then, Dorduni tries to attack Ichigo telling him that he is naïve to think that he won’t attack after Ichigo healed him and battles aren’t like that. Ichigo tried to stop him since he isn’t in the condition to fight. Ichigo slashed him again, while carrying Neru and escaped. Dorduni smiles as the execution squad came. As ‘thanks’ to Ichigo for going to hollow again as somewhat respect for Dorduni even if he doesn’t have to, Dorduni stall the execution squad by fighting with them as he thought that Ichigo shouldn’t be ‘goody-two-shoes’ for the ones he would fight later on would be more powerful and won’t be nice as he [Dorduni] was. Meanwhile, Sado and Ishida are having difficulties fighting the ex-espada they had encountered. For a while there, I thought this is a recap of soul society arc, when Ichigo met Ikkaku whom he also healed [Dorduni] and became a friend and forgot his name, the guy in 4th division who is a healer [Neru]. The author changed it though to Dorduni helping them and I guess wanting to attack Ichigo again it to show to Ichigo that he shouldn’t let down his guard and help the enemies who might attack him again when healed. I guess that is how different the two worlds are of Soul Society and Huenco Mundo as the latter isn’t bound by ‘rules’ and ‘honor’.
Everyone gets their things in One Piece [c. 436] as they are going to see their new ship. There is a bit of talk regarding Usopp as to what to do with him but then, the focus is more on their reactions to the bounty. Sanji is angry that they made an ugly drawing of him. Nami was tricked into posing for a reporter while Chopper cries at how little his bounty was. In the marines, it turned out that the photographer forgot to remove his lens cover so he didn’t get a picture of Sanji and resorted to drawing him. Strawhats found the shipwrights resting/sleeping and they woke up when they heard Luffy exclaiming how big the ship was. The ship was covered in a large cloth. Since Franky wasn’t there, Iceberg was the one who showed them the ship as he uncovered it. They were all surprised and happy to see the ship and the things that there are available – large sail, slide, lawn, refrigerator with lock, etc. Luffy then called out to Iceberg where Franky is so that they can thank him personally. Iceberg told them that Franky left since he sensed that Luffy might want to ask him to be their shipwright and he might not be aboe to turn down the offer. Iceberg suggests that they use force to get Franky to be their shipwright.
At Franky house, they were shocked to see Franky there as they told him to go with the Strawhats. Franky says that he doesn’t want to even if there is a bounty on him since he wants to be with the family for they can’t do much without him. One of them then took off Franky’s pants. They plan to give Luffy the pants to force Franky to join so they are off on a game of tag as Franky chases them throughout the town, half-naked as everyone freaked out and calls him a pervert. Just as all the family were almost defeated, Luffy appeared and got his pants. As Franky chased Luffy, they talked about the ship as Franky told him of all the things he put in as they requested and if Luffy saw this and that in the ship. Franky then fired at Luffy to give his pants back but Luffy tossed it to Chopper. Then, Sanji and Zoro were there to stuff Franky in a canoon and shot him to the shipyard where the ship was. Luffy flew himself to the ship with Franky’s pants. Luffy then thanked Franky for the ship as Franky bid him a good journey ahead. Luffy then shouted that if Franky wants his pants back, he has to join their crew. That is a really different way of asking someone to be their nakama. ^^;; The figure on their ship reminds me of Kon [Bleach] ^^; Luffy would be happy to know that Franky sidelines as a musician. I’m guessing that Usopp might get back in the crew next chapter..mm..as Usopp or Sogeking? Their ship really seems awesome at all the different features it has. If Franky joins them and I’m guesing he will, he can add more to them. ^_^
In D. Gray-man [c. 100], Rabi is trying to rub away the ‘lying glasses’ eye paint on his eyes as Allen thought that he will always be reminded of losing the key on his life while Rinali told him not to be too hard on himself. Rinali then thought that they are called lying glasses maybe all the keys on the floor is just an illusion and the key is just on the floor. Debit and Jaspero confirmed it is so. They were then attacked by many fireballs, Chaoji [the human extra accompanying them] was hit. As the others tried to treat Chaoji, Allen tried to randomly attack the place, hoping to hit them. Allen got hit by a large goo from behind that Rabi has to use his hammer in flame mode to get him out by melting the goo. Rinali then used her coat to cover Chaoji’s burned back. She then noticed that Crowley is observing something. Rabi then told Allen that he can find the key since he remembers its nature –how many scratches, weight, etc – since it is his talent to remember things as the successor of the Bookman. Allen then told him to find it in one minute then grab Rinali, Chaoji and Crowley as they head for the exit. Just then, Allen was hit again as Crowley helped him. Crowley told him that he had overheard what he told Rabi and he doesn’t plan on being dragged away by Rabi. He then grabbed Allen and tossed him to a bookcase. Then, Crowley attacked above him. It turned out that Crowley can sense where they [noahs] are because his blood craves on them. With Crowley’s coaching, Allen managed to grab about of them but noticed that they were unusually quiet. I think they were duped as the ones Allen holding seems to be dolls like before. It feels a bit weird though for Crowley to start calling them as ‘brats’ and being quite rude kinda proud in his speech when he seemed spinelessly before. Oh well, it was mentioned that Crowley is like that when he managed to drink blood which he did before they got there. I do wonder if the two noahs will be ripped after the battle for they seem to be just random enemies – not of Tiki and Rhode caliber. I think the author likes Rabi that on the cover, the author mascot is with Rabi. Hehehe And it isn't the first time.
In Gintama [c. 143], a recap about the murderer of Ryuyama discovered what Ryuyama planned to do with all the androids so he killed Ryuyama but he made two mistake and that is ‘Tamago’ actually has a ‘heart’ and that Ryuyama has made himself into an android who killed the murderer. It is more like putting the soul into the machine/android. Gin and Kagura wondered how did the old inventor know all of this as it turned out, before being captured, Shinpachi left Tamago’s brain to the inventor. Just then, Ryuyama prevented the destruction of the older maid androids and he plans to make everyone into androids so that his daughter won’t be lonely [being different]. Before he just makes a cute doll machine to make Tamago happy but now, it is different for he wants her not to be lonely. Tamago regrets that things had turned into this as Gin told her that the most important thing is to still have one’s precious memories even if the body isn’t the same anymore [something like that]. Just then there was a blackout as they noticed Sadaharu still dragging around the mop girl. Then, the tv came back on, it was Ryuyama saying he was responsible for the blackout and that everyone must submit themselves to become androids if they don’t want to be hurt, etc. Mop girl was then fixed by the inventor and agreed to help them remind Ryuyama that when she first ‘awoke’ he told her to make his daughter happy. It seemed that she used to be the small doll robot that Ryuyama made and that no matter how she was changed into what she looked like now, she still remembers those words. They then went off to bring back the thing that can make one smile. Hehe, there are lots of text and this is pretty much lazy summarizing. The only thing I found really amusing here was to see shinsengumi complaining about the program change and Okita says to turn back the program to 14 year old Mother [Jap drama]. Is the author watching that too? Hehehe I’m guessing that next chapter will wind up this arc and let Ryuyama realize that making everyone into androids doesn’t make Tamago happy.

Someone called out to Kyouko. She looked back to see it is Reino as Kyouko exclaims, it’s you, why are you here. Reino smiles and said don’t ask a foolish question for it is of course, to harass her, is there any other reason. Kyouko was surprised yet angry then she smiled. She said, I knew he would come and that I shouldn’t trust that idiot [Shou] – regarding Reino won’t bother her again. She then says ha, you want to harrass me, huh, just try it if you can, let me tell you something I’m no longer like yesterday. She then holds something which shines bright and says that she has this amulet to drive away evil beings as it gives her courage and confidence. She then points to a shiny figure and says that beside her is one who is favored by the heavens, he is on my side. It all turned out to be a dream as Kyouko wakes up to find Ren looking up to her. There is a sign on Ren – the one favored by the heavens and he was all glittery. Ren then told her good morning, good thing that she woke up, he is actually thinking if he should wake her up or not. Kyouko then realizes where she is, her eyes turned big and screams out in terror.
Kyouko wrapped herself like a cocoon on the curtains of what seems to be a mini-dressing room and shouts why Ren didn’t woke her up when she fall asleep especially since he is looking at her from below. Ren tries to apologize as he worriedly thought that he made her cry again. Ren then says that it is because she looked so defenseless..no, she is peacefully sleeping and it seems a bit cute...ah no, it would be a pity for him to wake her up. Embarrassed, Kyouko shouted that it would be better for him to wake her up than just watch her sleeping, also it is really embarrassing to have fallen asleep when Ren is not feeling good. Ren then told her that he is feeling better now and thank you. After hearing that, Kyouko smiles. He then told her that they better go back to the set as Kyouko remembered and hurriedly got out of the curtains. Ren then thought that even if Kyouko doesn’t regard him as strongly as Shou and that her concern for him is just because it is her ‘responsibility’. He then wondered if there is slowly becoming ‘more than a sempai’ for he didn’t feel this kindness when she was playing manager to him before. Ren then shrug it off that he could just be imagining it also if it became ‘more than a sempai’ things could be a bit more troublesome since he is developing some strange desires that could make things more complicated.
On the way down the bus, Kyouko tripped on her skirt as she is falling down, she managed to hang on the side of the bus like clinging to a something when one is drowning [tightly]. Ren is already on a pose to catch her. Just then, Ren was shock to see something fall down from Kyouko’s skirt – it is a hammer and a daruma [Japanese wish doll] clock. Kyouko then goes down and told him it is her weapon [hammer] and warning alarm [clock] just in case as she explains that since her dress doesn’t have any pockets, she tied them to her leg. Ren asks, just in case the stalker comes back. Kyouko says it is so. Then, Ren noticed a small coin purse near the hammer and asked what is it. Kyouko then freaked out as she asked it back for it is her amulet which can protect her. Ren gives her purse back as he wondered what is in it and told her that she doesn’t have to have those things for he will be there to protect her or is he that unreliable. Kyouko says that it isn’t so for before she would carry them to protect herself but now, she carries them so that she can hit VG with it. Ren wonders what’s the difference.
Kyouko laughs and told him that since yesterday, she was very scared what she will do if she met with VG again that she seems to be losing against VG. But after last night, when she learned that Ren has arrived, that feeling just sudden vanish – after seeing you, I’m at peace – and she thinks that since Ren is there, she won’t lose to VG for it seems that Ren gave her courage and confidence. Ren was surprised to hear this and then he smiled. He quickly says that they better hurry or else, they will be late. [Actually, he just have to turn around to cover his reaction as he walks ahead and Kyouko follows] Kyouko then thought to herself that she can’t quite explain it why Ren gives her courage and confidence. Holding the purse, she thought this is her amulet and it has magic, as it would be effective again VG just as a vampire is scared of the cross. She laughs and that is how she will kill him though it could kill her too as her demons are also scared of it. She opened the purse and looked at corn the sapphire. Kyouko smiles and says that it has Ren’s magic as she remembers Ren kissing it. Since Ren is walking ahead, she didn’t notice that he is smiling as he is carrying her hammer and clock.
At VG’s place, they were disappointed to learn that their spy won’t do it anymore and consider what happened before as never happened. The guitarista was holding a note from their spy which was left at their meeting point. Miroku says that it is a waste that they can’t use him anymore. The guitarist says that it is still okay and just say they will hire him. Miroku then told him that if the spy was found by Shou then he would be entirely useless to them. The guitarist then said that they should just find a new spy and asked Reino if there are any other staff of Shou that they can use – which one is mentally weak and worried about their future or talent. Reino texted his reply on his mobile phone to tell them that there is no one. Since they noticed that Reino texted it in shortcut that means that he is lazy so the other band members decided to stop it since Reino isn’t interested in harassing Shou anymore. The others decided to do the song they had stole earlier. Miroku then talked to Reino about using his charisma on girls and to use it seriously. Reino texted to him that he isn’t interested in using it seriously [when it comes to music] and wasn’t it Miroku who suggested that they rip off Shou. Miroku admitted that it was his idea but it was because he was pressured to [succeed] also it because of him that Reino is in the band. Reino assured him that if Miroku wants to be a musician, he will help him. Miroku thanked him for it would be a problem to lose a vocalist in the band especially since he has a lot of fans. Reino then texted him that about making Shou suffer, he will use his own way as he thought he has a personal grudge on Shou for beating him up. Miroku was surprised that there is something more than music and asked how will he do it. Reino then just smiled at him.
Just then, Kyouko felt it and started looking around if someone is there which scares Itsumi. Itsumi asked what it was as Kyouko said it was nothing, she must have thought wrong but she felt a bad intent towards her. Someone then called out that the bus is ready. Yashiro then calls out to Ren when he noticed that Ren is looking away. Yashiro then shouted, your face, your face. Ren then says, ugh, then turns around and innocently asks what is with his face as Yashiro said that his face is ‘slipping’ - smiling. Ren denies it. Yashiro smiles and said that he looked quite happy when he returned after lunch that surely something had happened. Ren said if there is something to be happy about is because he didn’t eat lunch. Yashiro says that he doesn’t believe him for he saw Ren smiling which says something good has happened. Ren thought it was troublesome for Yashiro saw his face ‘slip’ –smile earlier when Yashiro went to call him back to work. Yashiro thought that it is good that nobody has seen it. Yashiro says that it seems to be not such a great deal since when Kyouko returned, she seemed to be the same, acting normally so Ren must be happy over a small thing. Ren looked glum as he thought, sorry if it is just over a small thing. Yashiro then looked up and thought, isn’t it frustrating for Ren whom every girl in Japan wants to hug and yet over such a small thing, he gets overly happy about it. Ren denies that he feels what Yashiro is saying.
After a pause, Yashiro asked had Ren ever thought of wanting Kyouko to think only of him for isn’t Kyouko a ‘pure’ girl – unexperienced with men, and Ren, used his skills, would have give her a kiss, Kyouko would have been a goner that she won’t ever forget him. Yashiro now has devil horns and tail as he tease Ren. Ren says what skills is he talking about as if Yashiro had seen that. Ogata then called out to Ren to come to the bus already. Ren thought that he already knew what Yashiro is implying and he actually almost did. He then told Yashiro that it is because she is inexperienced that and if he have done that before she is ready – Ren was remembering Kyouko’s stunned face when he tried to touch her face earlier – then, the one who would be a goner would be him. Yashiro was surprised and realized that it could actually happen if it is Kyouko. As Ren goes to the bus and Ogata + Kyouko were waiting for him, Ren thought that he doesn’t want to be erased/gone from Kyouko’s heart. Ren asked isn’t she going up yet. Kyouko smiles and said that as a kouhei [younger], she must wait for her sempai [older] to go in the bus first. Ren thought that must be her ‘logic’ – their relationship as sempai-kouhei. Ren then slightly smile as he thought, oh no, lots of desires are rushing up from my heart to my head as he remembers Kyouko telling her that he made her confident.
Hehe, Ren is really smitten by Kyouko that indeed a small thing like Ren somehow makes her brave enough to face Reino is making him happy about it the whole day. I guess it must have taken lots of willpower to act not interested/in love and maybe partly, it is thanks to his acting skills. He does need to be careful next time. Somehow I find it hard to use a hammer when one has a long skirt to hit a stalker. Won’t she have to lift the skirt first before she gets to use it? Won’t that take time? Well, even if it isn’t practical, at least it is something. I do somewhat doubt that ‘corn’ can make Reino go away. Maybe Kyouko thinking about it being magical is too naïve of her or maybe it is more on psychological effect but then, this manga has some ‘magic’ fantasy to it like Kyouko’s demons so maybe it can. =P Kyouko is indeed ‘pure’ that she would go all the way to hiding in the curtains just because Ren watch her sleep while he is on her lap. A kiss would really be really shocking to her and would really be a big deal. I think that if the kiss on her would make her shock/violated and from Shou’s memory, embarrassing but then, if Shou kissed that girl angel actress, it was no big deal to her. Now, Reino seems intent to once again harass Kyouko. Mm..if it is a pattern of dreams coming true as in chapter 92, the confrontation might indeed happen. Reino’s ability to see through people’s worries and know people who are mentally weak is a bit worrying for he might actually see through Ren – aside from his anxiety on controlling his feelings for Kyouko, there is his painful past. But still, Ren is ‘devil king’. Anyway, Ren-Reino confrontation might happen soon, I can’t wait to read what happens. ^_^

Kain, all dressed up to go out, asked sleeping Aidou if he really isn’t going to their house/family as Aidou says that he isn’t and he should go ahead. Kain came out and apologized to the others for keeping them waiting. Ichijou says that it is okay as Kaname told everyone that they should go now. In front of the boy’s dorm, Yuuki is standing outside, thinking of what she should do even if there are a lot of things she want to say to Zero and while still confused, a girl, dorm head, approached her asking what is Yuuki doing there and told her to go back. Inside the male dorm, the dorm head called out to Zero to tell him that Yuuki is outside and isn’t he going out to meet her. The girl dorm head is now reprimanding Yuuki for going to the boy’s dorm and she isn’t excused even if she is the president’s daughter. Just then, Aidou came and interrupted them as he asked where is the president. They asked why is he there for night dorm people cannot go to day dorm and vice-versa. Aidou then asked girl dorm head to keep it a secret for he had run away. Since the girl dorm head is a fan of his, she readily agreed to keep it a secret and she left. Just then, Zero saw all this that he quickly jump out of the window [boy dorm head was shocked for Zero jump out from the third floor] and told him about the rule – don’t go to day dorm. Yuuki also insists that he go back to the dorm. Aidou said that he doesn’t want to wait in the dorm so he isn’t going back. Zero then told Yuuki to get a rope and he will use force if he had to. So Aidou quickly escape as Zero chases him.
At Yuuki’s place, Zero obviously tired told Aidou not to use his weird physical strength. Aidou told him that it would have been best if from the start, he helped him run away/mind his own business. Yuuki asks if it would be better to wait there or go to Zero’s day dorm. Both guys said no way. Aidou then realized that he is hungry and then he calls out to Yuuki telling her to cook for him and about how his bed and pillow should be soft with no smell..if anyone calls him, tell them he isn’t there..regarding towels and toothbrush. It made Zero irritated at him as Yuuki tried to calm Zero down. Yuuki then asked why doesn’t Aidou want to stay at the dorm, did something happen. Aidou pauses and then says, nothing. At the car, Kain comments that he didn’t expect Kaname to go against the upper house. Kaname just looks out the window as Ichijou says that Kaname is a pureblood though he is quite honest. He then says that it already well known that Zero wants to kill Shizuka so that is why the upper house is set on punishing him for killing a pureblood but then, he protected Zero even if he is a vampire hunter = enemy. Ichijou asked does he know what people would think of him – he of different race [being pureblood] saved a schoolmate – the one who really wants peace isn’t the upper house but Kaname. Ichijou then asks, is that okay. Kaname then says that about that thing, he haven’t really thought of it, if it is really like that, I will talk about it at upper house, one must be brave. [I think he meant, one must be brave in doing that.] Then, they have almost arrived at the upper house as a huge building can be seen already.
Yuuki was surprised that Aidou actually ate the food that Zero cooked even if Aidou said that he doesn’t want to as Aidou cleaned out everything on the table. Aidou, wiping his mouth, says that it all taste plain but then, he isn’t full yet. Yuuki laments that this runaway is quite irresponsible. Aidou asks if she is not happy about it. Yuuki nervously smiles and said yes that she will ask Kaname to teach him [some manners]. Yuuki was just testing how he would react but was surprised that Aidou doesn’t look happy about that. In the kitchen, Zero was shocked to learn that Aidou ate all the food for three people. Yuuki, still carrying the empty dishes, says that Aidou doesn’t seem to look good [energetic] yet he kept on eating. Zero asks if he isn’t feeling well that he kept on eating and why isn’t he feeling good. Zero then tossed a packet at Yuuki, telling her to give Aidou some of those blood pills while he prepare more dishes. Yuuki said yes while looking at him. Zero then asks what is it. Yuuki says it is nothing and she is going. Zero then cornered her telling her to say what she wants to say. Yuuki then asks if it is really okay spend time like this – relax and not be worried. Yuuki was actually scared of ‘that day’ will come. Zero covered her eyes and said, stupid, does she think that he can decide on a plan right there and compared to that, it would be better if dealing with him, not to have such a face, she should smile a bit. Zero removes his hand on her eyes as she thought her fear had subsided a bit.
In the dining room, Aidou complains that it is so slow [his meal]. Yuuki says that Zero is still cooking so he should eat some blood pills. She the put it on Aidou’s plate as Aidou looked at it. He then asked if it is Zero’s. Yuuki reacted in shock as she tried to deny it as Aidou smiles and told her not to lie for Zero already knew that Aidou has already figured it out, since he [Aidou] is a genius, he would obvious know about it. Yuuki asked him not to tell anyone about it. Aidou told her that he isn’t that despicable and that it seems that Kaname knew already yet he didn’t say a word to anyone about it. Aidou then says that he doesn’t know what Kaname is thinking – being really nice to a girl like her and even caused a falling out with the upper house. Yuuki denies that Kaname does. Aidou then looked at her and asked, is that true, I could kill you. Yuuki was mildly surprised and then told him that she knows of two kinds of vampires – the one who wanted to eat her, the scary type and the one saved her – scary but nice. She respects Kaname and how she regards him is a pure – no ill intention. Aidou then asks if no matter what, she will still trust Kaname. Yuuki was a bit surprised then nervously smiled and blushed as she said even if she would waver a bit, still she would believe Kaname even if he betrays her, it doesn’t matter. Aidou looks at her as Zero, carrying something he cooked, overheard everything.
Aidou was resting on the sofa when he heard something breaks on the floor. Yuuki has broke a plate and was picking it up. She ended up wounding her finger. Zero told her not to move as he will get...He didn’t get to finish as Yuuki told him to wait. She then stands up and overs her bleeding finger to him to lick the blood. Zero obeyed as Yuuki felt his fangs. Zero then stopped himself as Yuuki told him not to resist it for she knew that he is hungry. Zero then continues to lick as Yuuki thought it isn’t like she is obligated to do it..please do not disappear, my heart ‘hurts’, Zero smile a bit, too. Zero is perspiring and breathing hard that he then bite into Yuuki’s hand as Yuuki closed her eyes in pain. She then thought what is Zero’s existence to her..looking at her with those vampire looking eyes which she used to fear but cannot look away.
Aidou was standing near the doorway, seeing this and then he left. As he quickly walk away, he is talking out loud – that is really troublesome what was that about for it seemed that Zero has become infatuated with blood, things have become uncertain, isn’t that bad. He then gets angry at himself for worrying about Zero. Then, he thought that the person he is worried about is Kaname for he can’t really figure out what is Kaname thinking. At the upper house, Kaname is siting down with Kain and Ichijou standing beside him while Ichiou [Ichijou’s grandpa?] and two other older people are sitting in front of him. Ichiou told Kaname that they will treat his ‘revolt’ as if it never happened and Zero’s sentence will be temporarily suspended as long as Kaname is still in Kuruso school. Kaname smiles and thanked him. Ichiou says since it is his right to protect a school mate for he is a ‘big hearted person’ so there is nothing wrong with it and there is a bit of progress on the pacifism among vampires and humans that Kaname had established. Kaname then says that he has a favor to ask and that is for upper house not to intefere in Karasu school again. Ichiou doesn’t look happy about that as Kaname continues that like his deceased parents, he doesn’t like blood being spilled..even a single drop.
Kaname is really pushing his 'power' as to how far he can extend it and get away with it. I guess he already knew that the incident would be quickly disgarded as if it doesn’t happen. He somewhat reminds me of Lelouch of Code Geass, he has to recruit people who would be loyal to him and then, in this case, he seems to try seize more power that the upper house can’t do anything against him. I mean weren’t they scared of Ichiou when he visited earlier but after what Kaname said to the others, here they are now quite confident and seems to even willing to defend Kaname no matter what happens. I do wonder if Kaname is the last pure blood that everyone regard of him so highly especially since Shizuka is dead. I do wonder if Maria is a pure blood, too. I’m thinking Kaname is making some sort of ‘safe haven’t for vampires and humans to co-exist. It is kind of like ‘Special Zone’ in Black Blood Brothers. Like in that anime, the drinking of blood from wrist is also similar but then, in the anime, it is so that it won’t be that intimate if it is on the wrist rather than the neck. I’m still wondering if giving Zero blood would be good for him or not. Does giving him blood make him addicted or at least extend his life so as not to be in pain – not go to level E? I was also thinking that they should have at least do it somewhere where others can’t see even if Aidou knew about it for it seemed like saying, yes, you’re hunch is right, here is the confirmation of it. I think that Aidou’s confidence with Kaname wavered a bit that he doesn’t want to stay at the night dorm but since Yuuki says that she believes in him no matter what, it reminded Aidou why he is following Kaname. This chapter seems to show that Aidou is not much of a ‘evil’ brat though he is a spoiled one. =P I came to like him a bit since his first impressions on him isn’t good. The next chapter will be a side story so wait for a couple of months before the story continues again. There might be a colored spread though by January and well, usually it is 50 pages long.

Nana [Chapter 64]

Opening narration by Hachi: I could not sit still that I immediately head out of my family’s house and went to Tokyo at 9am in the morning. While drinking a cup of coffee, Nobu looks at Nana worriedly as she is reading the article about her mother who abandoned her. Nana’s mobile phone rings but she doesn’t answer it. It was Hachi who was calling as she wondered if Nana is still sleeping. She wondered if Nana knows about the article already but then thought that she shouldn’t keep on thinking for this isn’t the time for it as she hurriedly walk. Nana tells Nobu that it isn’t a big deal as Nobu says it is since she very lonely because her mother abandoned her for doesn’t she wanted to have many friends who are like family to her and she has to face it. Nana then looks at him and Nobu loses his courage as he says that it seems he isn’t the right person to say that to her. Nana then smiles and says that she knows already, that everyone is very worried about her. Just then, Nobu noticed that Hachi, who rang the door bell/intercom, is downstairs through the tv screen. Nobu asks her to come up as Hachi is surprised that Nobu is there. Nana asked who it was and why is he letting that person go up when this isn’t his house. Nobu told her that it was Hachi who must be worried that she went there. Nana was surprised and told Nobu that isn’t true for Hachi is currently at her family’s house. Nana then thought that could it be Hachi hurriedly went to her place. Nobu then goes out as Nana grabs him, telling him not to escape. Nobu tells her that he is going to pick Hachi up since she might not go up since he is already there. Nana looked surprised about it.
Downstairs, Hachi then realized that she doesn’t have any make-up on, changed her clothes and even fix her hair. She then tries to go out when she noticed Nobu looking out. Somehow Hachi couldn’t face Nobu as Nobu grabbed her arm and said that it is good that she is there for he, alone, doesn’t know what to do. Hachi was surprised and asked where are everyone else. Nobu says that it is because he was asked to ‘strengthen’ Nana so he came. Hachi asked how is Nana. Nobu says that she isn’t angry nor cried, actually she is really calm about it. She even laughs it off that it is no big deal though it seems that she is trying/faking to be strong. Hachi thought that it won’t be good just letting it alone. Nobu then noticed that he is still holding Hachi’s hand that he quickly let it go and apologized. Nobu says that they should go up already for letting Nana alone, he will be worried. Nobu then volunteered to carry Hachi’s luggage as Hachi thanked him. Nobu says that he should be the one thanking her for if Hachi is there, Nana can be strong and he would be more relax. Hachi then thought that being alone as she was in the train before can make one feel uneasy – one cannot be strong when one is alone – but she isn’t alone. She is always making mistakes, wrong theories and that beyond what was published in the news, there is surely something more important.
Nana opens the door to them and smiles as Hachi decided that she won’t let Nana be alone. Inside the room, Hachi exclaims that her flat is really huge like a gymnasium that they can even play badminton in it. Nana tells her not to be so shock about it since it is expensive. Nobu then pouting told her that Hachi is visiting so she shouldn’t be saying such things. Hachi then says that she won’t be returning back to her parent’s house for she has decided to spend the new year with Nana. Nobu says really as Nana says not to bother for they will have work on New Year. Hachi then cheerfully says that she will be staying with her until Ren comes back from abroad. This surprised both Nana and Nobu.
In some studio, Shin told Yasu to hold his cigarette properly [it is facing down]. Yasu smiled, a bit embarrassed as Shin told him that if he is really worried about Nana, it would be better for him to go to her. Shin then asked if Yasu really value his friendship with Ren. Yasu was surprised and denies it. Shin told him not to play dumb or is he afraid that Miu would misunderstand. Yasu then tells him that isn’t so for he doesn’t mind that his relationship with Ren has become like that. The one he is worried about is Ren so he doesn’t want to take away the ones the Ren treasures. Shin was surprised and asked if Ren is more important than Nana. Yasu says that he cannot debate regarding Nana and Miu since they are different people and that he thinks that the opinion of other people isn’t important for everyone has their own way of thinking so he is cool about the idea. [Okay, I might be understanding that wrong since it doesn’t quite made sense ^^;] This surprised Shin and remembered Reira telling him something like that, too. Shin then looked a bit sad. [I’m guessing that Yasu is telling him that everyone is different and so that connection one has with one person is different from each other so it can’t be compared.
Just then, Nana, together with Nobu and Mai, came and greets out good morning to everyone but was disappointed that only Yasu and Shin was there. Nobu asked where the manager and the others were. Yasu then says that they went out to eat breakfast. Shin comments that it seems she is very lively. Nana asks if he isn’t satisfied. She then freaked out that they made a bet on it and Shin won that Nana would be fine. Yasu then says that it is okay if he loses the bet as long as Nana is her lively self. Nana was a bit embarrassed that she asked out loud again where the manager and others were. Yasu sweatdrops as he told her, didn’t he say they went out for breakfast. Nana then shouted for them to practice since they have a concert at this place which isn’t a small time gig. The manager and others then came and glad that Nana is lively. Nana then went to this old guy to ask if she can play/talk on stage and since she got a favorable response of yes she can, she hugged the guy, calling him grandpa. Shin then asks Nobu if Nana is really alright for Nana is too lively. Nobu says that it is already okay. Mai then says that it is because Hachi came from her parent’s house to visit Nana. Shin and Yasu were surprised to hear this and yet, they are relieved as Shin says, is that so.
At a grocery, Hachi has gone shopping as she was thrilled to see the different food available since it is almost New Year. She then thought about cooking something for New Year and Shin surely haven’t eaten such a meal. She is all fired up to cook a delicious Japanese new year bento/lunch box then she decided to also buy a lunch box - lacquer ones. At Nana’s place, Nana asked why she bought all those things as Hachi has bought things which are related to New Year – lucky bamboo display and toys. Hachi told her that she got carried away. Nana, holding the wooden badminton paddle, told Hachi that she won’t be playing with her and she just wasted money. Hachi told her that it is New Year item and when her child is born, she can play with the kid. Nana says that she won’t interfere [don’t defend Hachi] when Takumi asks how the money is spend. Hachi then remembered that she haven’t told Takumi that she is staying with Nana. Just when she is about to call, Nana’s mobile phone rang. It was Ren who called, saying hello, wife. Nana shouted for him not to call everyday when he doesn’t have any important thing to tell her, does Trapnest had a lot of free time. Ren told her yup, lots [of free time]. Ren says that those who are always busy are those working old grandpa [manager/Takumi?] and he heard about the article by Search. Nana then goes in the bathroom as she asks how did he know. Hachi cries in happiness for Nana is lucky to have love calls everyday. She then decided not to call Takumi as he wouldn’t care any no matter where she spends the New Year. Hachi then thought that with Takumi, she feels as if she is useful – her life has meaning- but without him, she wonders who much she is worth to him.
Inside the bathroom, Ren was saying, isn’t it good, don’t care about them [reporters?] and she is able to live with Hachi happily [lovey-dovey] together. Nana says yes, she is very happy. Ren then says, that’s quite frank, who are you, are you really okay. Nana says no for everyone was worried about her that it made her a bit uneasy and she really isn’t bothered by the article. She already knows that her mother is that kind of selfish person since she had abandoned her and even if she died, she [Nana] won’t know so knowing that she is alive and has a new family wasn’t a shock to her. Ren says that even if she says that what about her. Nana replies that she just doesn’t like that kind of news about her to be just spread around in public. Ren says, is that so. Nana then says that she will persevere and that Mai is really worried that when she saw her, Mai started crying. Nobu and others are also ready to risk themselves for her that it made her want to laugh and she haven’t even thought that Hachi would also come. Ren laughs, is that so. Nana told him that she was really happy about it that so there is no problem. Outside, Hachi is playing on the wooden badminton as there is a narration, even if Ren and Nana are separated by distance, they still have a ‘connection’ for Ren isn’t the type of be a ‘playboy’ unlike Takumi and even if Reira is there, it would be best not to mind much about Search article. Meanwhile, Yasu called up his girl friend [black haired beauty]. While looking at the article, he told her that he has a favor to ask her. The girl is in bed with another guy who is fast asleep as she asked what is it. Hachi continues to narrate that what happened in Osaka, it is best to forget it for it is best for her to just keep Nana ‘lively/energetic’.
At the park, Ren just hanged up and looked at Reira who was playing with a squirrel. He then went to her when the squirrel ran away. Reira playfully tease is it because the wolf have come that it ran away. Ren says that they better had back since it is cold and it won’t be good if she catches a cold. Reira asks if he called up Nana and how is she. Ren smiled and told her that she is okay. He muses that it seems if the lover is away, one tends to treat that person more nicely. Reira made a reaction and asks isn’t it like the farther one is the nearer they become. Ren replies that no matter how it is said, it is just a saying. Reira then looked sad, it is [true], going to Sweden [gomen, I made a mistake before thinking it is Switzerland], it has no meaning. Ren looked at her and then asked why does she want to go there. Reira doesn’t want to answer as Ren told her that he told her his weakness so it isn’t fair if she didn’t tell hers. Reira smiled and said that she wanted to see. Ren asked, see what. Reira says that she wanted to see the place where Shin was born and grew up. This surprised Ren. Reira, about to cry, says feeling about saying that she came to understand the meaning of those words even if the one who said not to meet again was her. She then remembered Shin saying that it is best to pretend that it/their relationship didn’t happen. Reira cries as she says that she wasn’t able to give him anything. Ren then hugs Reira as another narration from Hachi, it has been a long time since we [Nana and Hachi] slept together in a single bed, there are many things she want to say and ask her but as she felt Nana’s warmth, she soon fell asleep.
Later on, at home, Hachi is watching the awards night for 2001 as she screams in joy when she learned that Black Stones won for best new comer and that since Trapnest is out of town, Black Stones are in the spotlight. On tv, Black Stones then goes on the stage to perform. Narration: Blast is really busy as she doesn’t know when will Trapnest defeat/overtake Blast again. In the dressing room, Gin reprimands Nana that she sang the wrong lyrics again and this is a big gig, he can’t do anything about her. Nana says that isn’t what she call a big gig. Nobu complains of being hungry as Mai told them that in the next program, they can eat some cake. Shin asks what is that for he doesn’t want to eat anything. Nobu then asks if he is alright for he doesn’t look good. Nana then says that it is because he has stage fright in front of many people so why don’t he smoke to calm down. Yasu got an email from the girl/his friend, telling him that Uehara store is closed and no matter how many times she rang the door bell, no one answered. Misato’s mobile phone isn’t answered either. Since it is New Year, they could have gone out of town so she can’t say for sure. Don’t worry too much, leave it to me, she wrote and she would report again if she has any news. As Hachi happily puts the food on the lacquer bento boxes, another narration, going to spend the New Year with Nana, I have many wishes but the part where the tradegy happens is about to start and it is like the snow that is slowly, silently falling down on the ground.
So, it turned out that Nana took the news pretty well and I guess since everyone was there, worried about her, she felt somewhat happy knowing that. It really does seem that Hachi has a great impact on Nana that Hachi can make her more ‘relax’ if that is the right word that when the others learned that Hachi came, they were relieved about it. I guess another reason is that Hachi will be there with Nana at her apartment and Nana won’t be alone. Hachi does seem to be jealous of Nana since Ren always calls her while Takumi doesn’t. I do wonder if in the future, if they are still be a couple. I’m guessing that it is Yasu who told Ren about the article. Now, Ren knew about Shin-Reira relationship other than Takumi and Hachi. Ren and Reira seems to be really good friends that they are pretty close to each other than the other members are to each other – they confide to each other and tend to spend their time together. I do wonder if there is/would be more than that as Takumi seems to think since the author placed the drawings of Nana+Hachi together with Ren+Reira in one page. Does that have other meaning to it? It is obvious that Blast would be in the limelight while Trapnest isn’t around. It is best to quickly get the audience/fans while the rival is not around. About Yasu, I wondered if he is worried about Misato and what are the other possible implications/consequences to the article that he asked his friend to check out Uehara. From the looks of it, they all ‘escaped’ but then, the impact on Misato. Somehow, what happened to the Uehara family could be the reason for what is yet to come – Nana’s apparent suicide. I try not to think that Hachi had not contribute to it but seeing Nana’s mother and she was the more or less the source of the article, I have this feeling that she did. That is my guess since Hachi did say that after that new year, the events that turned out to be tragic has started to unfold.

V. B. Rose [Chapter 27]

This chapter starts with Ageha staring at Tsuyu as they are both having tea. Ageha was thinking how did things came to this as Tsuyu asks if she wants sugar with her tea. She is actually thinking why Tsuyu was blushing earlier on and she wants to confirm if she likes Mitsuya. Flashback: After work, Yukari came up asking if she is free. He told her that Mitsuya went back to Rosa to do something while Tsuyu has already left. Yukari then asks a favor from her as he gave her an piece of paper where the tea house where Tsuyu will be waiting. To Ageha’s surprise, Yukari says that Tsuyu wanted to be friends with Ageha. End of flashback. That is what happened.
Tsuyu then apologized that she isn’t good with people for she spends most of the time in making beadworks but then when Yukari mentioned about Yukari, Tsuyu made a decision to definitely go to the store to see her. She then asks if she can be friends with Ageha. Ageha of course happily agrees to be her friend for if they talk about things, it would be more happier. Tsuyu smiles and thanked her. Ageha then thought that Tsuyu is cute when she smiles. Ageha then asked if Tsuyu is working outside of the store, is it because of Mitsuya. Tsuyu admitted that it is. Ageha gathered her courage and asks if she likes Mitsuya. Tsuyu then told Ageha that Mitsuya used to be her classmate in elementary and he is really nice and sincere. He is her type of guy but then, because of her parents, she has to move away then who would know that Yukari knew him. So, when Yukari introduced her to Mitsuya, she quickly knew that he was her childhood crush. She felt it was destiny as Ageha agrees. Tsuyu was hiding behind Yukari as she wonders how to talk to him for they haven’t talk for a long while but then, it seemed that Mitsuya changed – having a dark aura, as he says that Tsuyu haven’t changed. To her dismay, the Mitsuya she knew before is no longer the same as she thought who is this Mitsuya standing in front of her but still she fallen in love with him. So, even if Mitsuya has a tendency to tease her always, she still likes being with him for it makes her happy. Ageha then apologized for thinking she is Yukari’s girlfriend. This surprised Tsuyu as she says that Yukari is just a good friend. Tsuyu then realized that Ageha likes Yukari. Then both girls wished each other good luck [in love].
Then, there was a scene of Ryuu meeting with his sister Mamoru to talk about Ageha. I think it is more on how Ageha seems to be going to ‘fly’ away from them. At the store, Yukari is happy as he read his email on his mobile phone [I kept on forgetting that in Japan, they send emails rather than text/sms on their mobile phones. ^^;] as Mitsuya asks why he is so happy. Yukari asks how did he know as Mitsuya says that it is because he is a psychic. Yukari says that Ageha will be coming to the store. Mitsuya then jealously says that Ageha is always sharing rumors/stories with Yukari and not him. Yukari was oblivious to it as Mitsuya says that he is teasing Yukari. Yukari then thought that he has eaten out with Ageha and gave her a bracelet he made, then thinks that it is like liking a cat. Mitsuya tried to help him out saying about ‘green bird=happiness’ coming to him but then gave up as Yukari is really clueless about love as to why Ageha acts that way – wearing the bracelet he made. Ageha then came and brought some pudding that her sister made. She asked if Yukari wants some then Mitsuya asks why isn’t she asking him. She then says that she heard from her Oohara [bro-in-law] that Mitsuya likes sweets and it turned out that Oohara is Mitsuya’s sempai in high school. She then says that her sister is already on her nine month pregnancy so they are staying with them since the baby would be born soon. Yukari then teases that wasn’t she oppose to the marriage before. Ageha then says that people change as there are things that are not okay, she will just have to improve everyday as she persevere. Yukari looks smitten.
She told them that she will be putting the pudding on the refrigerator. Mitsuya then says that he will be going to Rosa. As Ageha puts them on the refrigerator, she tells Yukari that Tsuyu is a cute person and they will meet again later on. She didn’t get to finish that as Yukari is putting his head on hers. He then says that before Ririko has a cat, a strange creature just like her. Ageha thought is he comparing her to a cat. Yukari thought that this is such a nice feeling as Ageha, blushing, thought that Yukari is too close to her. It seems that Yukari is really clueless in love that he compares the feeling he has with the cat that they had before. Mitsuya has been dropping lots of hints and Yukari still didn’t get it. Lol. It seems that Tsuyu and Ageha found something in common and became friends.

Ageha thought that Mitsuya now knows of her feelings for Yukari. Flashback: As Yukari drives Tsuyu to the bus stop, Mitsuya is trying to calm Ageha down. She is crying because she might be fired. Mitsuya asks if Ageha still remembers what he said before. Ageha says that she is only a staff – not lover. Mitsuya told her not to remember that much what he said as he tells her that Tsuyu and Yukari aren’t lovers for they are different. He then makes some comparison about the two which doesn’t make sense – Yukari stops at a traffic light while Tsuyu is the type who gets bumped by cars. Ageha then apologizes for thinking the two were lovers but then, why are those two somewhat close to each other. Mitsuya then comforts her saying that people has a tendency not to notice the things that is about them but when she didn’t notice, the other party’s thoughts of you might be the same. Ageha asks if it is true. Mitsuya then goes on a speech that he guarantees it for Yukari isn’t the type to make friends before when they were in high school and he was the one who actually managed to make Yukari be friends with him for Yukari is the type who would ‘remove’ people away from his presence if he doesn’t like them. Mitsuya then says it was like when Yukari tossed Ageha out earlier [volume 1] because she irritated him. Ageha realized that it is true. Mitsuya then says that about not falling for a staff since it is troublesome is what he thinks and it isn’t really what Yukari actually said so she can go on liking Yukari. Ageha then asked if he is the type of doesn’t fall for the staff since it is troublesome. Mitsuya says that she can say that but it doesn’t really have something to do with work. Mitsuya then adviced her to just keep on doing what is herself or be herself – apologizing when wrong and saying thanks to show gratitude – and things will go well. End of Flashback.
At home, Ageha was thinking about what Mitsuya said and since she can’t think calmly, she is working on something. She isn’t really quite sure if she can really like/love Yukari – is it really okay. She then remembered Mitsuya saying that Yukari won’t be near those he dislikes and she remembered Yukari giving her a bracelet. She thought that she knows how she feels for Yukari but what does Yukari thought of her. Then, she remembered Yukari smiling at her to greet her good night. She then thought maybe there is something about it. The next day, she decided to wear the bracelet to work. As she walks to VBR, she greets a client going out. She then thought that the girl looks familiar but they haven’t met. From the window, Yukari calls out to her. Ageha was so thrilled about it as her heart is beating fast. Yukari then shouted that the bag she designed was accepted by the client.
Ageha entered the store as she realized that the client was the one whom they designed the gown and bag for during their date that is why she looks familiar. Yukari said that he knew she would be happy to hear it. Ageha high five Yukari as she exclaims she is really happy when he noticed that she is wearing the bracelet that he gave her. Yukari then took her hand and looked at it. Ageha blushed and said that she liked it. Yukari laughs as Ageha blushes some more until Yukari suddenly grabbed her head and left. Ageha asked what it was for that hurt as Yukari says it is nothing. Ageha then decided to keep things as they were for now for she really like the ‘feelings’ that she is experiencing as of now. Meanwhile, Yukari is trying to compose himself for he actually almost tried to kiss Ageha for she looked really cute.
Tsuyu then came and talked about the client. Ageha then asked what is it about Tsuyu holding her hand. Tsuyu says that it is ‘electric storage’ – kind of absorbing your powers. Ageha wonders what is being drained from her and to her surprise, Yukari also does the same thing. Yukari and Tsuyu then talk about things as Ageha thought that what Yukari is doing is normal again. Then, Mitsuya came and teases Tsuyu again as Tsuyu is overly tense. Just then, after Mitsuya was told by Yukari to go back to work, Ageha was asked by Tsuyu if she is blushing. To Ageha’s surprise, it seems that Tusyu likes Mitsuya.
Well, Mitsuya seems to be the mediator type between Yukari and Ageha like Yashiro is in Skip beat! Ageha seemed to have decided to play it safe for she thought that she might be the only one who has feelings for Yukari and Yukari doesn’t have for her. Like the way Yukari acted on wanting to kiss her, I doubt Ageha would figure it out.

Papillon - Hana to Chou - [Chapter 4]

Still standing here and looking at Chou who is crying, Ryuusei asks her to come back with him. Chou says that he should go back first. Feeling helpless, Ryuusei did went back. Chou cried as she thought flashbacks of Kana and everyone laughing at her and Ryuusei apologizing/turning her down. She then started to climb up the wire fence on the roof and then, she paused when she looked down as if she lost her nerve to commit suicide. She holds the organizer tight as she holds on the fence and cries a bit more when there was a strong gush of wind. The wind then blew her skirt that her underwear is shown just then someone exclaims what a strong wind. Both Chou and Kyuu was shock to see each other. Chou quickly holds down her skirt. Kyuu smiles and asked what is she doing so high above, it is dangerous so she should go down. She then realized something and tossed down the organizer shouting that it is all his fault because he wrote those words on the picture and now she is feeling misearable. She then sobs as Kyuu looked at the picture and then at Chou who is still on the fence. Kyuu says that he doesn’t know what happened but is she saying that because of him that she is going to be expelled. He then apologized to her as Chou looked at him.
Then, Kyuu smiles and asks her to come down since it is dangerous. Chou then faces away as she shouted that she doesn’t want to for there is no meaning to her life. Kyuu then says that her parents will be sad if she say such things. Chou pauses then says that even if she dies, her parents won’t be sad. Kyuu was surprised as Chou says not her father, her mother or even Ryuusei because everyone only care about Kana. She then says that her younger twin sister is cute, charming, etc and she couldn’t even compare to Kana. If Kana is there, there is no meaning to her own existence. Kyuu then asked is it true, don’t you think that she doesn’t mean to make you sad, since they are twins, isn’t that too cold. You must be feeling lonely because you are all alone. That hit the spot as Chou is going to cry again. Kyuu then asks if it is okay for her to die a lonely death like that. Chou cries as she thought that she can’t answer back for honestly, she doesn’t want to die but...Then, to Chou’s shock, Kyuu asks if she is a virgin. Kyuu then continues that it would be a waste, since she is still a larva and she already wants to die. He then told her that he can help her become a butterfly. Chou was surprised that what he is saying as Kyuu continues that let’s do it that way, let him be her first and last boyfriend so if she dies, he would be sad and hurt for her and if it is like that, she won’t be lonely. He holds out his arms, calling for her to come. Chou couldn’t believe what he is saying that she slipped and falls down. This also surprises Kyuu but he managed to catch her as they both fall down on the floor. Kyuu says that it is a good catch of a killer ball then says that it seems that it is B-cup. To Chou’s shock, Kyuu has his hands on her chest that she screams.
At the school hallway, Chou angrily walks away as Kyuu is still smiling with a slap mark on his face. Chou told Kyuu not to come close to her and calls him a pervert. Kyuu says that he is just kidding for he won’t do such a thing to a student for he is the school’s guidance counselor. Chou was shock to know this. He then introduced himself as he showed his business card. He asks she doesn’t know for he came since April. His name is Kyuu Sahito? [I’m not sure about the name though since the Sa is from Chinese, I can’t find the romanji of it meaning declining/sound of wind and hito means person in japanese. I keep calling him Kyuu though.] and currently 24 years old. He then says that it seems he isn’t quite known yet and then he pointed out that they are already in the guidance counselor’s room where he works, so why don’t she come in. Chou doesn’t want to as Kyuu pushes her in, saying that he will listen to her what has happened. She wonders if it is really alright.
Inside, Kyuu says so that is what happened that because of the picture she got laughed at and that she got turned down by Ryuusei. Chou says that she shouldn’t have brought the picture in school especially how Kana reacted by laughing at her and that she wished she can erase people’s memories. Kyuu tells her not to think too much about it and just tell others about it/not hide it. Chou freaks out over what he is saying as she shouted is he on his side as Kyuu said that he is serious. Kyuu then says what if everyone already knows about the picture, like when they met and she keeps it a secret, he wouldn’t know that she likes Ryuusei but if he knows, things will change and there is a possibility for it to come true. He then asked doesn’t she feel the possibility for it to come true now that everyone knows about it. Chou was surprised as Kyuu says that now that everyone knows, it is a good thing for even at first she is laughed at, even those who are jealous of her would come to help her. Chou was surprised at his insight as Kyuu continues regarding Ryuusei being together with Kana, she can just get him back. Chou then asked if a guidance counselor should be even saying such things. Kyuu says what is the matter, isn’t he suppose to counsel her and it is for argument/reason so he thinks it is okay if it is for her happiness. He then said that since Ryuusei said that he was happy that she likes him so she still has hope. She has three choices that she can do: 1. take Ryuusei from Kana, 2. wait for them to separate and 3. to just give up. Chou was speechless and says that she doesn’t know. Kyuu smiles and told her that if she wants to talk, she is most welcome to come back. Kyuu then waves Chou goodbye as she heads back to her classroom.
Chou then remembered Kyuu saying for her not to mind those things and it is okay if everyone knows. Chou then thought that she was surprised for she haven’t actually thought of what Kyuu said. She wondered that before that she thought about it, that if this didn’t happen, it would be best but then, that would only be just trying to get away/escape from reality. She then smiled as she thought that talking with that person [Kyuu] made her feel that it isn’t such a big deal and that she knows feels more relaxed as if she is in a dream. She gathered up her strength as she went back into the classroom. Everyone was surprised that she came back as some even shouted, my, she even came back. Ryuusei stood up and smiled as he was relieved as Chou slightly smiled at him. As she sits down, Kanda asks where she was for she was worried about her for there was such a big commotion because of her. Just then Chou noticed Kanda’s bandaged finger. Kanda then asks about the picture why she has it and about the words written on it. Kanda then asks if Chou likes Ryuusei. To her surprise, Chou admitted that she likes Ryuusei ever since before. Kanda then says what does the words mean, is it her fantasy. Chou says that it isn’t her fantasy but her wish. Kanda asks doesn’t she regret it, isn’t she a bit sad/pathetic. Chou asks why would she for it doesn’t really cause any problems to other people. Kanda was speechless over more vocal Chou when Chou asked if the bandage on her hand was the bandages from her organizer. Then, Chou asked if it was Kanda who showed to others the picture.
Kanda tries to deny it saying that she doesn’t mean to show it to others for she was surprised to see it that everyone asked what it was so it wasn’t deliberate. Chou says that even if it isn’t deliberate, Kanda still let others see what’s inside her organizer and how could she touch other people’s things without permission. Kanda then shouted if Chou is saying it is all her fault. Chou says she didn’t say that as Kanda insists that is what Chou is implying. Kanda then holds out the organizer and shouts at Chou that it is all Chou’s fault for bringing to school such a sickening picture that things turned out that way for it would have been best if she didn’t bring it. Isn’t she a bit sickening to even do such this kind of thing [on the photo]. Just then, a long haired girl grabbed the organizer saying that Kanda is the one who spread it. The girl then says that Kanda even called out to others happily showing the picture to everyone so shouldn’t she be the one apologizing to Chou. Kanda was embarrassed as Chou was surprised someone helped her. Kanda tries to deny it when the teacher came in so Kanda quickly left to go to her seat. After she left, the girl then gave Chou back her organizer as Chou thanked her. The girl smiled and says that Chou is cool for she thought that Chou won’t come back after what had happened but she did. The girl praised her that she did good for she thought Chou is such a weak-willed girl that Chou changed her impressiong about her [Chou]. Chou was surprised by what she said. Just then, the teacher called for Chou and the girl, Meiji, asking up to when do they plan to keep on talking. Chou then remembers Kyuu’s words that everyone knows about it is for the best for even someone jealous of her will come to help her as Meiji shows a victory sign to her. Chou smiles back at her. The title of this chapter is : Magic Words.
Lucky for Chou that Kyuu came just before she jumps as he talked some sense into her. Kyuu seems to be a flirt and he seems to be the one who provide the comedic moments in this story. It goes to explain why Kyuu is really good at talking things out for he is a guidance counselor. That surprised me though I assumed he must be working in their school. I wonder if his comment about being the first and last boyfriend will come true. About rivals helping her, I’m thinking that Kyuu surmise that someone would look up to her for being brave enough to come back or even writing such words ‘we are a couple’ on the picture. I didn’t expect Kanda would be the one who showed the picture to the others for I thought she would be the good friend type. It did make sense in the first chapter why she said Chou doesn’t like concerts to leave her behind at the classroom and she could go with Ryuusei. Kanda seems to have a crush on him, too. Things seems to be looking good for Chou now and she doesn’t cower that much when confronted that it taken Kanda aback. I hope that Meiji would become a good friend of hers if she is a permanent character, Chou needs one and I hope not tear Chou down later on for some guy. I wonder what she would think when she knows that Chou actually considered killing herself and is really the weak person she thought Chou is if Kyuu haven’t intervened. I do find Kyuu much more interesting than Ryuusei and at this time, Kyuu can help Chou more than Ryuusei. It does seem that Chou doesn’t have any friends nor anyone to confide in that by herself, she made small problems big. She is really out of place in the family since she used to live with her grandma and I’m guessing she couldn’t tell her grandma either since she is already sickly and for her not to worry about her. Since Chou has hit rock bottom here, I’m hoping that the next few chapters would be more on how she grow stronger and more confident. I don’t think Chou can stand up to Kana yet and I wonder if Kana go after Kyuu if Chou goes to him to talk over her problems. I’m really hoping it won’t be like Peach girl. Anyway, since the theme is to make her ‘become a butterfly’ so her lack of self-confidence will improve later on.

Weekly Shounen Manga Update: Gantz, Naruto, Bleach, D. Gray-man and Gintama

It is phase 2 of Gantz and the new chapter is already out. And so, everyone got beamed into the room as they realized that Kei is dead in Gantz [c. 238]. Katou announces that he will use his points to bring back Kei to life. Then, they were surprised when the vampires [leader and the girl] got in. They tried to fight them but the leader vampire is too fast. Just then, Katou thought of something as he shouted that the vampire should be killing Gantz [the guy in the ball] instead of them since it/he can summon more people so why not kill the source. Just then, the ball announced their target and released the weapons. Katou then grabbed a bag and says that it seems to be lead vampire’s since on it writes – Host Samurai and that if he wants to leave there alive, he would have to hunt aliens with them and get 100 points. The leader vampire wanted to kill Gantz but then stopped and just sat down. Katou then told the newbies to suit up. Hehe, that was unexpected. I guess the vampires joining is to help them out since Kei isn’t there anymore nor Izumi. That was really good thinking of Katou to divert the target from them to Gantz. Gantz name for the vampire fits him – host since good looking guys in suits tend to be stereotype as hosts but the word used in Chinese seems to be degrading than the one in Ouran and he uses a katana so samurai. I wonder if they [vampires] will join and help them..I’m still thinking if I missed why are they hunting people being called by Gantz. I do wonder why he didn’t kill Gantz when he has an opportunity to do it but then, it looked like he really stabbed Gantz, maybe it/he can’t be killed.
Kakashi is amazed at how Shikamaru fit him in his plot even if he just got in their group in Naruto [c. 332]. Just then, Akatsuki had finished in their sealing and can now depart. Before leaving, Deidara warned them about Naruto. Hidan and Kakuzu were found by Ino and Shikamaru quickly ambushed them and successfully pinning them down on their shadow using the same technique that he used before with Tamari during the tournament – distract then underneath attach the shadow. So, Shikamaru caught himself two Akatsuki. That was fast. I wonder how would they counteract and what Shikamaru had in mind for them. There is no One Piece this week. In Bleach [c. 253], Dorduni was happy to see Ichigo went into bankai but wanted to see his half-hollow form, too. Ichigo doesn’t really want to but then, Dorduni tried to attack Neru to force him to since he knew Ichigo’s motto is to protect others and get strength in order to do that. So, Ichigo relents and agreed to show him for a second as he asked Neru to stand away. Ichigo went to masked mode as Dorduni is happy to see it but then, he was slashed. The end of Dorduni and I guess he was really asking for it. I somehow imagine in the next chapter Neru will be all over Ichigo and saying, oh you’re a hollow, too kind of line. Hehehe I wonder if Sado and Ishida would have an easy time, too.
Debit and Jaspero are still firing at Allen in D. Gray-man [c. 99]. Allen tried to figure out what the bullets are but can’t since it was at first ice then fire. Rabi and Crowley then helped block an attack and threw it back to the duo who managed to make the blast disappear. Lero, the umbrella were laughing at them since the guns don’t actually have bullets when he suddenly remembered their original mission and called out to Debit and Jaspero shouldn’t they be after Cross. They shouted at it that Cross might be after the ark so they are hoping Cross is in there so while they wait for him to appear, they would play with his student and make Allen pay for all Cross’ debts. Poor Allen was shocked to hear that. The amount is 200 guinea around 2 million yen. Allen then grew angry and says what is that amount compared to the ones he had to pay for Cross. Rabi then felt sorry for him. Allen then shouted Cross isn’t like an akuma, he is a real akuma. Everyone was shock by his outburst.
Debit and Jaspero got angry and will use ‘lying glasses’. Allen then attacks only to find them becoming dolls. Their eyes then were covered by some thing that looks like a blindfold and they can’t find the noahs. On the ground were keys and they realized that it is the same as their key. They asked Allen where is their key and apparently he lost it. The noahs then said that they had hit their key to the exit and since they [exorcists] made them angry so they [exorcists] will die in that room. Rabi says aren’t they in big trouble since they can’t see the enemy and the key is missing. Allen wondered outloud what is their power. While grouped together, looking for the enemy, they are already on target by the noahs. I do wonder if Cross is really there and I’m wishful thinking that he might help Kanda. I’m still wondering what is the light that Theodore had that went up into the ark. Anyway, this chapter goes to show how good Cross was in passing his debts to others. Allen must be unlucky to have him as his sensei. I think Allen tend to lose his cool when Cross is mentioned especially when it comes to debts. Hehehe Anyway, it shows that Allen can fight face-to-face but because of this ‘trick’ they are in trouble. I wonder if it is illusion, the power of the two noahs. About Allen’s outburst, he looked like Ed of FMA for a while there. ^^;;
In Gintama [c. 140-142], Gin is watching some horror movie of a scary looking woman who throws garbage and appears with only its head if one throws garbage on the wrong day. Gin tries not to believe since he mistakenly brought out his Jump magazines on the wrong day. In the end, he got Kagura to accompany him as he take the magazines. Kagura don’t want to stay while he do that. Gin even made Kagura sing some silly song- Doreamon? so that he won’t be afraid while getting it. As he got it, he saw a girl’s head in the garbage saying, lock on target, examining. Promptly, Gin fainted. The next day, Gin waked up to Kagura still singing the song. They were eating hard boiled eggs as Gin realized that it isn’t a dream about throwing the trash and tries to bribe Kagura not to tell it to Shinpachi. Then, he noticed that Kagura is using a girl’s head to crack her hardboiled eggs. Gin shouted for Kagura to return the head to the garbage while Kagura doesn’t want to since it is her ‘hit hardboiled egg’ machine. While fighting for it and Sadaharu even getting into it, the head flew out and Shinpachi catches it. He then told them it is a ‘welcoming’ maid android.
At that old man workshop, Gin was looking at a magazine of different maid androids. Then, the old man attached the head to a robot/gundam-type body. Kagura protests that she wanted a hardboiled egg cracker machine while Shinpachi wanted a maid android. As they argue about what they want to do, the old man asked if they have money. They don’t so they went back to Gin’s place with the head on top of a box with styrofoam-like popcorn. They say that they have no choice since they have no money so that is the only thing that they can put it in. They then wondered who is the owner that Shinpachi and Kagura repeatedly hit it when it turned on. It then asked for a name. Kagura says ‘tamago’ – EGG but it refuses to accept such a name. It says something about an adventure then shuts down. Gin pokes its head asking for more details but he got spit on. I don’t quite get the rest but Tamago is saying something about a curse/password and they wanted to know more about it but it kept on shutting down. Then, they heard on the news about this guy who creates androids and was killed by a certain android which is currently missing so people should report to the police if they saw it. To their surprise, it is Tamago.
They then looked at Tamago, saying that she killed her ‘father’ and escaped there. They then laughed it out that it cannot happen for how can a head kill a person. Tamago then told them everything as they asked, so with no password is okay now. She says that it could be while escaping that her body got separated from her head and it had made her lost some of her memories though hearing the news report made her remember some of it. They asked if she is the killer but she says that she doesn’t recall having done that. She then asked them to find something to help her remember. They thought what if she is the real killer what then. Just then, someone knocks and says that they are the police. It made them nervous as they wanted to throw away Tamago asap out the balcony. She says that she will curse them and even give them money for them not to throw her away. She uses her braided hair to wring around Gin’s wrist, not letting go, then says it is better for them not to open the door as she scans the persons outside – there are three people but then two of them are not the police nor humans. The door then got trashed as a older man is accompanied by a maid android and a boy android. They scanned the place and it is empty.
The others quickly escaped as they wondered what that is about. Gin asked Tamago about it but since she won’t answer, he slams her face on the floor. Gin asks if it wants to be left or to revenge – something like that as Tamago just told him isn’t it better for him to concentrate on escaping. Then, the maid android came with her mop tries to attack them. Tamago says that it is one of the latest models of maid androids. Gin shouted how can that be when she just claimed to have lost her memory and yet she remembers about the maid android model that is attacking them. Tamago says that android is good at cleaning up for it is a strong iron killer. Shinpachi is shocked and asked if Tamago is also like those. Gin then stopped his scooter and told Shinpachi that this isn’t the time to say that for now, they will become send by the maids to the netherworld. They were surrounded by maid androids. They then asks why they have to face them when maid with a mop is going to demolish them already. The maid with mop appears twirling her mop as cars fly away from impact. She asks them to give them Tamago who is guilty and they won’t be hurt.
Tamago says for them to leave her and do as they say as Gin shouts for it to let go of his hand. Mop girl then says something that it will soon come to past when they would create a world wherein the relationship between humans and machines/robots will deteriorate. Not quite sure on that one as Tamago was surprised and remembered something. Her creator saying something about wanting to change even though it would be sad and hurtful, he wanted to change the machine. Tamago, standing behind him, asked why does he think that even though he looks really sad and hurt. She thought that a machine/android like her can’t understand. In real time, Tamago then starts crying as Gin and others were shocked about it. Mop girl says that is why for machines don’t cry so Tamago should be returned to them. Kagura then attacks them using her umbrella as Gin rammed his scooter on the maids thus causing an explosion. Gin told Shinpachi to quickly grab the head/Tamago and escape while he holds off the maids. Shinpachi tries to protests as Gin says that he will explain later. Shinpachi did as he was told. Mop girl says that she won’t let them escape and fires something from her mouth but Kagura jams her umbrella in it causing mop girl to fire back to herself. Kagura says that she hates frog eyes. More maids are coming as Gin on Sadaharu tries to get her but mop girl is holding her foot.
Shipachi is still running with Tamago as the maid androids are after him. Tamago told him that if she stayed with him, escaping would be 5% successful but if he left her, it would be 25% Shinpachi then says something about being samurai – protecting something even if it means one’s life. Just as he runs and found a place to go, the boy android then came down from the roof as Shinpachi screams. Meanwhile, Gin is holding on Kagura who is still being held down by mop girl. Kagura kicks mop girl but it still won’t let go. Gin managed to hit away its head but it still won’t let go. Sadaharu helped them out by pooping on the floor that all the maids went to clean it up. There was an explosion and I can’t quite figure out why as the older man and the boy android observe everything from above. I don’t quite understand what they are saying but it seems to be world domination using the maid androids and that for now the boy android no. 50 is the strongest since mop girl is destroyed also, they got what they came for. The maids then brought Tamago with them.
Gin and Kagura went to the old man [the one who makes robots] who said that Shinpachi came earlier and they watched some announced on the tv by the older man regarding the maids. They then asked about why Tamago is crying. The old man says that the inventor Ryuyama [I invented that since I’m lazy to look it up] is opposite of what he does. He makes fat huge robots while he makes beautiful girl androids and gives them a heart to make them like humans. But he changed when his daughter had died that he wanted to make humans into robots by using his daughter as an experiment to make a robot [Tamago] into people who have died to live on as a robot. So after all that has happened, she must awakened and the one who cried could be Ryuyama’s daughter. Gin asked how did he know that and the old man says something about a memory of Tamago or a camera inside. Then, they saw that the older man was the one who killed Ryuyama as he says that Ryuyama’s dreams are over. Somewhere in some lab, older man villain has connected Tamago and Andorid 50 to somehow create new kind of humans. Back to Gin, they are still watching when older man villain was surprised that someone saw him and called out that it was Tamago who killed Ryuyama. Then, to Gin’s shock, Ryuyama’s dead body started moving. He then told Tamago to run away for now since later, he will get her again. Ryuyama then went into a change and became android 50 as old man says that Ryuyama lives. Then, at that time, android 50 has killed off older man villain and is walking off.
Gomen, if there are many mistakes. Gintama is harder to understand with lots of text and my Chinese reading powers are no match for it. ^^; Anyway, I think the author is parodying android maid types series. The first one about finding the head in the garbage reminds me of Chobits. ^^; I’m not sure about the others but then, well, there are some shows about maids being really powerful like the one in Mai Hime. Also, the author must have been watching horror movies lately. Chapter 140 is about a scary woman throwing garbage and that last one in chapter 142 reminded me of Ring – dead body moving and it is on tv. ^^; I guess Ryuyama used the experiment on himself, too. About Tamago, her story reminds me of Nataku in X. I’m thinking that Shinpachi was the one who gave the old man the memory of Tamago or Android 50 helped in it for them to know what really happened. I guess the next chapter would have them saving Tamago.

Papillon - Hana to Chou - [Chapter 3]

At her room, Chou thought it is already late [9pm] and Kana haven’t come home yet. She wondered if they are still together when Kana called out that she has come home. Kana then told her mother that she already ate and saw Chou standing. Kana asked if Chou is feeling well. Chou says she isn’t. Kana says that grandma was a bit sad that Chou wasn’t able to go but then she became happy when she saw Ryuusei. Chou asked if she was with Ryuusei the whole time. Kana says that Ryuusei is such a nice guy that she is really happy. Kana then gave Chou a box of medicine from Ryuusei. Chou was happy that Ryuusei cared until Kana told her that from that day on, they are already a couple. Kana smiles at her then left as Chou was stunned by the news.
At school, everyone was shocked that Kana and Ryuusei are already a couple as they walked to school holding hands. Kanda then went to Chou asking if it is true that the two are a couple already as Kana visited Ryuusei in the classroom, chatting. Chou looked at them sadly as she saw Ryuusei smiling. Chou then says that it seems Kana confessed first. Kanda was surprised and if Ryuusei quickly answered yes. Chou says that it seems to be. Kanda shouts that before they weren’t even talking with each other, how could they become a couple and she never thought that Ryuusei is such a guy. Chou had enough that she quickly went out of the classroom. She runs downstairs crying and passes by Kyuu who is walking upstairs. He noticed her.
At home, Chou looks at the stolen picture of her and Ryuusei with a written, we are a couple. She thought that she is stupid to believe that if she really wish for something she will get it and even believed that she can be Ryuusei’s girlfriend – a girl like her. To her surprise, Kana was there and took her organizer and saw the picture as Chou asks it back. Kana then laughs at Chou calling her pitiful to think they [Ryuusei and Chou] were a couple and if Ryuusei saw it. Embarrassed, Chou quickly grabbed her organizer back and hugged it tight. Kana then says that it seems that Chou likes Ryuusei, sorry, but she already took him away. Angered, Chou then threw a pillow at Kana and shouted what does it mean for she doesn’t have an interest at Ryuusei and now becomes his girlfriend, so please don’t do things just to satirize/ridicule her. Kana laughs at her as she says ridicule what Chou is always like this. Chou then accuses Kana of always being like that to take what she likes and since Kana knew she likes Ryuusei, Kana takes him. Chou screams that Chou already has everything so please not get Ryuusei, too. Kana looked surprised and says what is she saying for she became Ryuusei’s girlfriend because she is happy being with him and not to ridicule Chou. Kana continues that if Chou likes him, she should have confessed and she would have welcomed a competition and would fight fairly for she would even accept her challenge. [I think Kana knew that Chou won’t be a challenge and Chou knew it too that she seemed to have backed down.]
During lunch break, Kana and Ryuusei are being lovey-dovey in front of the door of their classroom. Kanda was saying that a girl having a round face can be beautiful as she looks at the couple. She then asks if she has a adhesive bandage [band aid] since she hurt herself. Chou then said organizer is missing and that is where she put the bandages. Kanda says that maybe she left it at the locker when they changed for phsycial education. Then, after Chou left, Kanda saw the organizer beneath Chou’s things on the table. Chou hurriedly went to the locker but it was empty. She then remembered that she put it inside her folded sweater so that no one can find it. To her shock, Chou realized that she left all her stuff on the table and someone might see it. Chou hurried back to the classroom. At the classroom, the students were already laughing at the picture and called out to Ryuusei who is still talking with Kana to look at it. As Chou arrived, she saw Ryuusei already holding the organizer telling the others to not look into other people’s things. Just then Ryuusei saw her and she looked embarrassed. Their classmates then gossip and someone shouted, ‘we are a couple’ then everyone went laughing. Chou embarrassed and uneasy as everyone is laughing at her, she quickly ran away as fast as she can up to the roof as Ryuusei calls out to her. Kana is just looking on. At the roof, Ryuusei found Chou bending down, crying. Ryuusei then gives her back her organizer which Chou quickly grabbed and told it tight. Ryuusei then apologized that ‘someone’ had messed with her things and if only he had seen it earlier. He then says that he is very happy about the picture – Chou liking him but he wanted to tell her that he is now on a relationship with Kana so sorry – I’m turning you down.
So, Kana managed to make Ryuusei her boyfriend on their first meeting. That goes to show how good Kana is unlike Chou who just keeps her crush a secret for a long time because of her lack of self-confidence that before she knew it, her crush is someone else’s boyfriend. I would have wanted to see Kana in a favorable light and think that Chou is just paranoid about Kana getting everything but then, maybe it is indeed deliberate for why would Kana go to their classroom to talk with Ryuusei – she could do it discreetly knowing that Chou likes Ryuusei. It was as if Kana is deliberately rubbing salt on Chou’s wounds – ha, I’m his girlfriend and you’re not. This also shows that the twins are like complete strangers to each other. Kana just stood there and do nothing when the picture is being shown to everyone. It was Ryuusei who ran after Chou when she left. Kana seems to know of Chou’s weakness that she can boldly say that she welcomes Chou’s challenge to fight for Ryuusei and that she isn’t doing anything bad though really it isn’t for it is like first come first serve. I guess it depends on which situation/side you are.

The new girl kept on thinking ‘large breast bishoujo’ as Ageha is thining how could she ‘report’ about it to others. She then thought that this girl is weird [so Ageha guessed she must be a personnel in VBR] as she pointed out to store, asking if she wants to go in. The girl then apologized for voicing out her thoughts then told Ageha not to misunderstand her for she isn’t into large breasts but she likes bishoujo for they have charm, etc. This freaked Ageha out as she thought this person is really weird. Yukari then came out and called for her to come in for she [the new girl] is always like that even if she haven’t dropped by for a long time. Ageha then happily thought that she is saved from having to deal with the new girl as she quickly try not to look too excited to see Yukari. The girl then called Yukari a classmate which surprised Ageha and wondered who she is. Yukari invites her in but she doesn’t want to until Yukari assures her that she is alone at the store. Yukari then invites Ageha in, too.
At the store, Yukari introduced the girl as Tsuyu, his classmate in high school and she makes some accessories for VBR. Tsuyu then goes crazy that she is seated between two pretty people that she has to look left and right to look at them. Yukari told her to just calm down as Ageha thought she is indeed a weird person. Yukari then asked if Tsuyu’s injury is okay. Tsuyu then says that she had a minor accident that her right foot was broken. She then thanked Yukari for the get well gifts that received everyday. Yukari says that it is nothing for he is just happy that she is now back home. Ageha was thinking how nice of him when she freaked out that Yukari said, everyday so he visits her everyday, I don’t know about that, what could it mean. Then, Tsuyu says that she is really happy for she gets to get emails of Ageha’s picture on the computer everyday. Ageha then asked, picture. Tsuyu then tells the shocked Ageha about the different pictures of Ageha from the photo shoots before that Yukari gave her. Ageha screams at Yukari what are the things he has been doing that she doesn’t know. Yukari then says that if he didn’t do that then, Tsuyu wouldn’t come and that he has to use everything that can be used. Ageha depressed that she was used as bait. Tsuyu then thanked Yukari for the flowers he sent after she was released from the hospital. Yukari says that he made her happy is enough. Tsuyu then smiles as Ageha thought that she is cute when she smiles. She begins to think what could be their relationship for Yukari to do all those things for Tsuyu. Tsuyu then showed Yukari the things that Yukari asked for as a favor. Ageha looked what it was and it was some jewelry. Ageha screams that they are really pretty. As Ageha excited looks at them and asks about it, Yukari then holds a strand of her hair then told her not to fuss about and be quiet. Then, to her surprise, Yukari put on the small crown on her head. Yukari and Tsuyu thought that it suits her.
Ageha then thought that this cannot be for she is already close to blushing and that it would really be a problem if Yukari is really close to her. Yukari and Tsuyu decided to take a picture of her as Yukari asked her to come to him, Ageha tries to escape from him that he ended up chasing her. Then, she bumps into Mitsuya who just arrived. Mitsuya then says that he never thought that Ageha would come running to her. He then hugs her and says that the crown looks nice when he realized that Tsuyu is there. Mitsuya says that Yukari is really great to have made Tsuyu come, what did he do. Yukari then pointed to Ageha. Mitsuya laughs as Ageha asks what is it. Mitsuya looks at Tsuyu who got nervous and tries to escape but Mitsuya caught her bag, telling her to come and sit longer. Ageha wondered what it was for Tsuyu seems to want to escape for her dear life and that it seemed that Tsuyu changed to easily scared when Mitsuya arrived.
While seated, Mitsuya asks Tsuyu if her leg is well and other normal questions but it seems that Tsuyu is really nervous around him. When Tsuyu mentioned about riding on a bus to get home, Mitsuya suggests about driving her home. Tsuyu says it is okay and she doesn’t want to bother him. Mitsuya then pointed out that he didn’t say that he was the one going to drive her. Tsuyu panicks some more as Mitsuya teases if Tsuyu wanted him to drive her. Watching all this, Ageha asked who is that guy who has become devilish. Yukari says it is Mitsuya-sama [boss] then he told Mitsuya that he is always like this that is why Tsuyu doesn’t come there. Mitsuya then says okay as he calls Ageha to go upstairs for he has work for her. Ageha follows him as she thought she haven’t seen this side of Mitsuya and wonders if he is still in boss mode. Mitsuya then closes in on her saying that if she kept on staring, he might want to kiss her. Ageha then punched him on the head, thinking Mitsuya seems to be back to normal. Mitsuya then noticed Ageha looking at Yukari and Tsuyu whom Yukari offered to drive her to the bus stop. Mitsuya then thought that it seemed that Ageha took what he said seriously. Then, to Mitsuya’s shock, Ageha asked if Tsuyu was Yukari’s ex-girlfriend since he said before that Yukari’s ex used to be a classmate. Mitsuya thought why are everyone clueless regarding love for Yukari is already an exception but Ageha, too. Mitsuya quickly pulled Ageha upstairs as he says to hurry as Ageha looked a bit depressed. Yukari then noticed that Tsuyu is still looking at Ageha...looking at her chest and exclaims that she must be E-cup.
Later that night, Yukari complains that they didn’t get to work that much the day as Mitsuya comments whose fault is it. Mitsuya then asks Yukari if she plan to use Tsuyu to be his assistant? Yukari says that is not his plan. Mitsuya then says that it is because he had to explain things to Ageha and help her calm down earlier and it doesn’t matter if it is Ageha or Tsuyu but they seldom go out [meaning they are ‘innocent’ or can’t socialize well with others] The rest of the conversation seems to be about making Ageha and Tsuyu to talk to each other more. Then, in the end, Yukari then realized that he didn’t get to talk with Ageha that much that day. Hehehe
From here on, Mitsuya would have this devilish side of him. I guess the author want to make things interesting else, he might be just a ‘bystander’ in the story and well, since he can’t flirt that much with Ageha anymore. It does seem that Mitsuya and Tsuyu might become the pair here. I do find Tsuyu weird and it is a bit creepy for her to be obsessed or as a liking for large breasts though Ageha doesn’t seem to be, unlike the typical large breasts characters whose breasts are as big as their head. Well, it is hard to tell in this story since people here seems to be of the same body type ^^;;

Papillon - Hana to Chou - [Chapter 2]

Chou was surprised to see Kana wearing the same style of outfit as she did. Chou thought, what coincidence, you came to the same place with a similar outfit, what are you planning. Kana then greets Ryuusei that they had met some time already but haven’t introduced each other, she is Chou’s twin sister. She then asked for how long have he been going out with Chou. To Kana’s surprise, Ryuusei says that they aren’t going out. Kana says how could that be for they seemed close to each other and even going out for a date today. Ryuusei says that he is just going to visit Chou’s grandmother who is in the hospital. To their surprise, Kana says that she would go with them for she haven’t seen their grandmother for a long time. Chou tries to prevent Kana but then, Kana says that they aren’t on a date so it is okay and the more the merrier when visiting their grandmother. Kana then says that they should go buy some gifts upon visiting for she knows where there are some sweets/food they can buy. Then, Chou saw Kana touching Ryuusei’s arm and she was being friendly with him. Chou wondered if Kana’s aim is Ryuusei. She became tense and thought to herself, it can’t be.
At the store, Kana wanted to buy some kind of sweets as Chou insists that red bean is their grandma’s favorite. Chou then realized that Kana never visited their grandma at the hospital since Kana doesn’t know which one their grandma likes. Kana then says for Chou to buy the one she picked and also this other box of sweets for that one is larger and they can share it with the other patient and even eat the remaining ones. Kana then smiles at Chou as Chou realized that Kana is deliberately doing things opposite of what she wants. As they walk, Kana learned that Chou and Ryuusei are childhood friends and that is why he wanted to visit the grandma. Ryuusei then asked why haven’t he seen her before. Kana says that it is because her mother is sickly so she can’t make frequent trips to the province. Ryuusei then realized that the twins lived in different kinds of places. Kana then says that she thinks that even if she lived in the province, she would still be the same. Chou is a bit surprised by this. Kana then says that one should just depend on herself for when she was a bit weird in kindergarten but then, being teased by classmates, she decided to depend on her own strength . Ryuusei asked what it is. Kana says that because of her surname, she was being called ‘drippy nose’. Ryuusei laughs as Kana told her not to. Watching this, Chou thought that even Ryuusei who said that he doesn’t like the kind of girl Kana was is now on a ‘two person world’ [good terms with each other and ignore everything else] then she felt that her stomach is not okay again. Kana then tells Ryuusei that since it was like that, she decided not to be teased again so she worked hard in improving herself – exercise, make-up – and make them admire her instead. Ryuusei then tells her that he knows how she felt for he is also like that for he wanted to be approved by classmates that he got into wushu [sport]. As the two talk, Chou felt her stomach pain as she looked in disappointment.
Just as Kana asks if she can call him Ryuusei, too [given name rather than surname] like Chou, a punk-looking guy came and called out to Kana. Kana was surprised and calls out his name as Kazuki. Kazuki asked why haven’t she been calling him. Kana says that they already broke up. Kazuki says that she is the only one who said that. Ryuusei asked who it was as Chou says it seems to be her boyfriend. Kazuki tries to grab Kana to pull her away as Kana pulled away her hand saying it is over between them and she doesn’t want to continue the relationship so don’t bother her anymore. Kazuki then slapped her hard and says that she is a two-hand [not virgin?]. Kana then says that is that how he thought of her, is she the type of woman who would go from one bed to another. Then she tearfully says that she is serious with him but if he thinks of her that way then it would be better for them not to continue their relationship. Kazuki was embarrassed that he tries to leave. Kana then calls out to him thanking him for even chasing her up to now and she was happy when she was wit him. This made Kazuki more embarrassed as he apologized for what he said earlier.
After he left, Kana smiles and turns around to Chou and Ryuusei, apologizing for surprising them. Kana then asked if she is too casual. She then says that she has been going around with different guys but they don’t seem to be serious for she really wants to find one who is truly serious about love and wonders if the problem is her. Ryuusei shouts that isn’t for even though he thought of her as the one being not serious but after seeing her today, he was wrong for she would even consider giving a gift to their grandma’s roommate at the hospital and she is even really calm when the guy hit her, she couldn’t have been someone who is not serious about things. Kana was surprised and thanked ryuusei for praising her. Chou was disappointed at the turn of events as her stomach is hurting and thought, if it was Kana who was raised in the province, could that person in front of me could be me. She then remembers Kana saying that even if she was the one raised in the province, she would be the same. This realization made Chou ill as she bends over in pain.
In a restaurant restroom, Chou thought that Kana is the type to work hard in life to become a beautiful girl but she haven’t done that yet. As she came out, she saw Kana and Ryuusei talking and laughing. They then noticed that she came out and asked if she is okay. Chou says that she is. Kana then says that since childhood, Chou’s stomach isn’t okay that she doesn’t come out often that is why she [Kana] has to be in tantrums for not being able to go out because of her [Chou]. Kana then asks if she can still go to the hospital to visit their grandma. Chou apologized that she can’t. Ryuusei happily says that it is alright for they can visit again next time. Chou was mildly happy about thiw while Kana is not. Ryuusei then fetched a cab for Chou to be a bit more comfortable. Chou thanked him as Kana is obviously displeased. She then says that if Chou is on the taxi, then she can go home by herself for she wanted to go visit grandma with Ryuusei. Ryuusei asks if it is okay for Chou to go home alone. Kana smiles and said that the taxi will drive her directly home so no need to worry and that she doesn’t believe in ‘next time’ for one doesn’t know when ‘next time’ will be. Kana then says that grandama is already expected Ryuusei who if he doesn’t go, she would be disappointed. This made Ryuusei a bit guilty. Kana then tells Chou that she will be the one who would bring her [Chou] gift and bid Chou goodbye. Chou looked on a bit worried as she thought that Kana’s objective seems to be really Ryuusei.
This chapter shows how good at words Kana is that she can make those who dislike her to like her. Since she is outgoing and worked hard to be ‘beautiful’, she can easily outshine Chou. I think wearing the same outfit is to show to Ryuusei that she is the ‘better’ twin and more good looking. She easily made herself the focus of Ryuusei’s attention that somehow made Chou seem like to be the outsider of the trio. I’m thinking that Chou’s stomach illness is ulcer from stress. Since it showed that it happened since they were kids, as I thought, Kana’s personality had somehow subdued Chou’s development. It is like someone who already completed their metomorphosis to be a beautiful lady/butterfly, looks down and easily make those who aren’t ‘beautiful’ feel insecure. I guess her ulcer was at its worse when she realized that what she had thought about Kana being her if she grew up in the province is shattered. Kana is impling that the environment has nothing to do with her nature. I cannot really fault Kana for easily outshining Chou if she is really like that and it does seem that Chou is just jealous. But then, I wonder if Kana deliberately does that to make others think she is the better, more beautiful twin and it seemed that she doesn’t like people to give Chou more attention than her. I do wonder how the parents are treating them – is Kana the favorite and who gets what she wants while Chou doesn’t – that would be a reason why Chou has such low self-confidence. Maybe the parents aren’t close to Chou or has no one to give her some boost of confidence.

Weekly Jump Update: Naruto, Bleach, D. Gray-man and One Piece

In Naruto [c. 331], Shikamaru’s group is indeed going for revenge but Tsunade tried to stop them. Since Shikamaru’s group can’t be dissuade and Kakashi offered to help them, Tsunade let them go. Around this time, Akatsuki finished sealing off one of the tails and will go now with two tails. In lieu of Akasuma’s death, they [leaf village] are also interrogating the guy who paid for the bounties obtained by Kakuzu. The last scene is Tsunade telling Sakura to get Naruto finish his new skill learning asap if not, they would send a different team to back up Shikamaru’s group. Well, I guess Shikamaru has already made a plan for the revenge and with Kakashi in their group, maybe they can do it, if now, at most, they can save the two tail girl. I do wonder how they would find Hidan and Kakuzu. Oh ya, maybe Kurenai would help in back up since she seemed to like Asuma and would also have a reason for revenge.
There is a colored spread in Bleach [c. 252] of the intruders [Ichigo and others] in Huenco Mundo plus their new hollow/arrancar friends. One of Neru’s ‘brother’ with the large mask is after Renji whom he kept pestering as to where Neru is. Renji says that he doesn’t know and assumed that the hollow is lost. The hollow says that he has to find Neru or else. Renji says that if Neru went to Ichigo then he would be safe there. He then said that isn’t the reason but then, he tries to tell Renji to stop running as he tell why. Renji wouldn’t stop since he instinctly has to run when being chased. Off they went, running. Back to Ichigo, he is still being beaten up by Dorduni who kept on telling Ichigo to go bankai. As Dorduni goes cero blast on Ichigo, Neru came and ate it then toss it back to Dorduni. Neru then says for him not to hurt Ichigo but Dorduni attacks Neru. Ichigo is forced to go bankai to save Neru as he managed to hurt Dorduni. Ichigo then told Dorduni that this is his bankai that Dorduni has been waiting for. Dorduni smiled and said he has been waiting for it. I was surprised that Neru is actually a girl. I thought she was a boy. ^^;; I had been thinking that the funny scenes of Dorduni when he was surprised by Neru eating his blast and his introduction, maybe he would be a comrade later on say, would you want to help us defeat espadas? since Dorduni is an ex-espada. Well, Ichigo has to use his bankai to save Neru. It does seem that Neru has some special power. I’m wrong about one of the hollow going with either Sado or Ishida though.
The first half of D. Gray-man [c. 98] is on a Noah ‘semi’-meeting as they found themselves crying. Rhode bids good night to Skin. Tiki asked about the exorcist [Kanda] as Rhode says that she didn’t sense him left through the door. Tiki then says that it is a double k.o. Tiki asks why is he crying. Rhode says it could be because Noah is crying. David/Debit and Jasdero came in saying that their tears are in black. It turned out to be from their eye make-up. While washing up, Rhode says that each of them is part of Noah. Debit and Jasdero are his bonds, Tiki is his pleasure, Rhode is his dreams and Skin is his hatred. Rhode says since Skin is hatred, he has no choice but to keep on fighting the exorcist/innocence until death. Tiki then asks weren’t Debit and Jasdero suppose to be after Cross so did they lost him. The two girls [Debit & Jasdero] tried to deny it but then got angry that the only thing they found are chickens. They were made laughing stock by Rhode and Tiki since Cross managed to get them to pay for his bills for housing, wine and women. When they came upon Cross’ student name, they thought of an idea.
The other half is on Allen and others as they were walking the corridor when Allen says that he hears something. The floor then started crumbling. As they run, Crowley asked for a flask of blood and he powered up as he carries everyone into a library which haven’t been destroyed yet. He dumped the guys on the floor and gently put down Rinali. They were met by Debit and Jasdero. They then called out to Allen that they don’t have a grudge on him but since he is Cross’ student, he has to pay for what Cross did to them. The girls fired at them as Allen tried to ask what Cross said to them. They realized that the bullets fired by the girls can change form. Allen then realized that they are the ones after his sensei, Cross and it seemed that Cross is still alive. Allen managed to counter attack using his new power. Rabi asks if they are after him and Allen says it seems so. Allen warns them about their bullet power being extraordinary. Jasdero then asks Allen if they used him as hostage, would Cross come. Allen says, that won’t happen as Rabi feels sorry for him that Allen didn’t even hesitate to think. The girls then says that he is right for Cross isn’t to be trusted. Debit then says that he would have to play with them in order to release their anger on Cross. As expected, nothing on Kanda if he is really dead or not. It does seem to be the start of another fight though I really doubt Allen would lose since he just recently powered up.
In One Piece [c. 435], Iceberg and others offered to help Franky in making the ship for Strawhats. Franky family members then got hold of the newspaper regarding what happened in Eneas Lobby. To their surprise, Franky family and others weren’t mentioned on it. The Strawhats had also gotten themselves of the newspaper as they were also surprise about the non-inclusion of Franky family and others in the rescue mission. Sanji wondered if it is Garp’s doing but everyone said it was impossible for him. Robin thought that it could be Aokiji. Sanji said it was good that Franky family and others weren’t mentioned or else, they would be on the run, too. Zoro says that they were being blamed for the destruction of the place and for declaring war on the Marines so maybe their bounties will rise. Everyone was a bit excited about it except for Nami. Then, Luffy was happy to hear that Franky will be making them a ship. Nami then asked where was the money that was there. Luffy said that it was spend on the party that they had earlier. Nami was furious that only a few money is left that she beat up Luffy. Nami cries for she wanted to buy some furnishing for the ship as Robin says that she will accompany Nami for some bargain shopping. So during those few days while the ship is being made, they went shopping for stuff. Poor Zoro, doesn’t have enough money for a new sword. Sanji then saw Usopp acting out the different ways to get himself back into the crew.
Later on, Nami told everyone that their log is already set. Kokoro then told them that their next stop is Fisherman’s Island. Nami isn’t too happy about it since fish/merman almost destroyed her village though Sanji is a bit excited since mermaids live there then cries as he thought of Kokoro being a mermaid. Kokoro then says it is a bit hard to get there. Robin asked if it is because it is underwater. Kokoro says it isn’t but more on about a ‘triangle’ [Like Bermuda triangle] she read on the news where ships were lost and was said to have ghosts so they better be careful. Nami doesn’t want to go there until Robin says that they could be treasure ships. Zoro is also interested for he might find a sword. Luffy is always interested. ^_^ Then, the girls in Franky family came to tell them that the ship is finished so they can go check it out. Zambai, together with the rest of Franky family, came to tell them that the new wanted posters are out. Luffy – 300 million, Zoro – 120 million, Robin – 80 million, Sanji – 77 million, Sogeking – 30 million, Nami – 16 million, Chopper – 80. Poor Sanji, they don’t have a photo of him that they made an ugly drawing of him. Zambai then says that what worries him is Franky’s bounty of 44 million. They might not be able to protect Franky if the government goes after him next time but then, Franky doesn’t want to leave them. Zambai and others talked about it and decided to get Franky join Strawhats, against his will. It turned out that Franky’s father is also a pirate. I guess that seals in Franky as the new nakama of Strawhats as their shipwright. I wonder what will they do to get him on the ship – kidnap him? I wonder if Chopper will tell them about Franky drinking different kinds of drinks will change his hairstyle. I wonder if Franky girls will go with him. I’m also excited about their new adventure – ghost ships and what kind of place is fisher/merman’s island. I do wonder what happened to Ace though but I guess he did managed to somehow stop Blackbeard for it has been a few days and they weren’t attacked yet by Blackbeard who was said to be near Water Seven. Hehe, I wonder which alibi Usopp will use to get back to the crew and what does their new ship looks like. Obviously, One Piece is pretty good lately.
