I usually write about the manga that I'm currently reading. At times, I write about the anime/tv shows I watched and the PS2 games I played. Since it is hard to share and talk my thoughts about a certain manga series when people don't know about it, I tend to summarize them from Chinese scanlations so beware, this blog is filled with spoilers and they are not 100% perfect. Feel free to point out my mistakes. Occasionally, I would blog about myself and other misc. things. ^_^

Manga: There is no Spicy Pink this month. I just seen that Spicy Pink is updated and there are two chapters. I’m still getting it from a bit slow hard-to-get site so I’ll just update that series next time. I just finished reading Koukou Debut from volumes 1 to 9. Since this is licensed, I’m sure most of you already know the story about Haruna, a tomboyish girl falling for her ‘tutor’, Yoh who told her not to fall in love with him. So much for that one, he did fell in love with her. The story is becoming more like Haruna with Yoh + sister and his friends doing high school and falling in love stuff. I do find their interaction amusing especially how Haruna endears herself to Yoh. I find the ‘taking care of you while you are sick’ part quite amusing. Well, in volume 9, they seem to be going for some sports competition and Yoh got himself into the cheering squad. The fun part here is the possible love triangle as Asaoka seems to be interested in Haruna. Yoh even have to confront him and tell him to give it up. Well, Yoh also told him not to tell Haruna because this will make Haruna troubled. Asaoka challenged him to a contest and if Yoh wins, he will do what Yoh wanted. I really love the parts where Asaoka is teasing Yoh. Hehe

Silvery Crow ends in chapter 25th as John and Larue defeats Kuloye with the help of the demon king on John’s arm. Basically, Larue tells the demon king to lend some strength to John and John’s arm absorbed all the demon stones which enables him to finish off Kuloye. The arm tries to get Larue but John made it stop. One year later, the world is okay and it is thanks to John and Larue. Larue made some curry for Kazami and others but only John can eat it. Mouse guy is with them as Fukurou is just traveling after being helped by Mouse guy before. In the end, it turned out that the demon king is a sexy beautiful woman. She wants John so she wants to finish off Larue who is a rival. That’s it. I knew this isn’t going to be a long series when there are no great enemies to defeat while fighting with Kuloye. Actually, looking for the demon stones have also been cut short so I guess this series isn’t rating well. Well, it was okay series though quite generic. Maybe the author has thought of some other idea and finished this up quickly. ^^;

Nothing much happened in Air Gear [c. 185-187]. They are just training, lots of fanservice and introduction of new enemy, Orca. His name is based on a famous killer whale. In the last scene of chapter 187, it will be Jaws [Agito/Akito] vs Orca. Liar Game [c. 59] ends round 3 of Liar Game. Nao accuses mouse guy of being contradictory so he lost. Nao said earlier in the game mouse guy said that money is everything but during the battle, it is proven that it isn’t as there are people who doesn’t think that money is everything including the three members who betrayed him. Mouse guy laughs at her for she wasn’t able to save herself and Akiyama. Nao says that it is because in the next game, everyone else still in the game would know that she and Akiyama would try to save them and they will go with their plan. The others in mouse guy’s group is angry at him for trying to ‘kill’ them but they were scared when mouse guy killed his two mice with his bare fist. Akiyama thanks Nao for helping him. Nao says it is nothing. Akiyama asks what kind of plan to rescue others did she mentioned earlier. To Akiyama’s surprise, Nao is just bluffing. Nao deliberately provoked mouse guy because she thought that he could have saved the others with the money he had gotten. Akiyama laughs and says that Nao has become stronger but mouse guy is right because Akiyama has thought of mouse guy doing that but he just let it be. Akiyama says that he is like mouse guy who uses people for his own benefit. Nao tries to protest but she can only cry upon seeing Akiyama feeling hurt. She thought that Akiyama doesn’t trust people and has lost hope after what has happened to his mother. She wonders what can she do to help so that he won’t be too sad. Later on, they inform the masked guy in charge of giving their money to bearded guy and bandana guy. They learned that mouse guy wants to play again in the fifth game. [Technically fourth but they counted the restruct game] Akiyama tells Nao that this is thanks to Nao’s provocation. To Nao’s surprise, even bandana guy is going to play in the fifth game because he wants to lend his help to them. To Nao’s shock, Fukunaga also wants to be in the game to get back at mouse guy. As they leave together, masked men in charge wonders if Nao will still believe in people in the next game. I think I should find their names in the next game rather than calling him mouse guy and bandana guy ^^;; Well, it is a nice change that it is Nao who managed to get at the villain instead of Akiyama usually doing it though Nao didn’t got the villain to suffer from being in debt but more on hurting his pride. I guess she is learning. The author is taking a break and will start again next year.

Masked scarred guy tells Yoshimori if he wants to know about his power in Kekkaishi [c. 187-192]. To Tokine and other’s shock, Yoshimori agrees to go with him. Okuni is going to talk with Yoshimori when they were informed that Masamori has gone to fight with Ouji [huge guy with bag in the head]. Okuni tells him that the big eye before who fought with him is Ouji’s sixth brother. Okuni says that Masamori can’t keep still after his family and comrades are involved. She doesn’t think that Masamori will win. This made Yoshimori grab her and asks her where is his brother. Okuni said it is best that he just stay put for Masamori doesn’t want him there. Meanwhile, Masamori talks with Ouji and in the end, they fought. Ouji’s men tries to fight Masamori and to Masamori’s shock, Ouji attacks his own men just to try to get to Masamori. Ouji is on the advantage using whirlwinds. Masamori becomes determined after remember the deaths of his comrades. Masamori goes inside the whirlwind. Ouji cuts him but it turns out to be just a shikigami. Masamori pins him using narrow kekkai sticks like what Tokine uses. Just as he is about to attack, Ouji seems to have split into pieces and escape. Something fell down that Masamori uses his kekkai to catch it. It turned out to be big eye. It seems that they threw him away because he is useless. He asks Masamori to kill him as his body is already useless. He tells Masamori that they aren’t humans anymore then he faints.

Yoshimori wakes up and remembers that he is in Okuni’s place. He puts on his uniform coat and wanders around the place. He then sees Masamori. He is surprised as he smells blood from Masamori. Yoshimori tells Masamori to tell him what is happening and don’t try to say that it has nothing to do with him. Yoshimori says that they are family, before he helps him when they are in trouble but then, Masamori goes to Ouji by himself when he has family and comrades. Masamori tells him to go back and starts to leave. Yoshimori holds him back but Masamori pulls his arm away from him. Yoshimori says he has changed and he isn’t the same as before, he wants to protect everyone. Yoshimori screams that Masamori is more stupid than him for trying to think he is all alone when he can depend on him. Masamori loses his footing that Yoshimori realizes that he is hurt. They were interrupted by Okuni. Masamori asks if she was the one who brought Yoshimori there. Okuni says he should be thankful for they tried to restrain Yoshimori from coming after him that the place is a bit wrecked. They then talked about big eye. Masamori wants to talk to Okuni alone and tells Yoshimori that they will talk later. Okuni tells Masamori that Ouji consists of six brothers. Masamori asks a favor from Okuni to save big eye because he isn’t really his target. Okuni obliges but in the condition that both Masamori and Yoshimori lend them their strength. Masamori agrees. Yoshimori is waiting outside when Masamori comes to tell him to go home. Mm..nothing much to comment here. I guess big eye might be a friend later on. It seems that Masamori tends to work alone. I guess he doesn’t want to involve Yoshimori is a way of protecting him. But Yoshimori doesn’t want to be protect, he wants to be the one protecting. I guess Yoshimori will get a scolding from Tokine and others when he gets back.

Anime: Bleach is back to the manga arc so I’m watching this again. Ah, it really feels depressing to see Ichigo tumbling all over the place when he is beaten. At least here against Dordoni, his bankai-hollow form is still effect. I think I mentioned that I had skipped save Gaara arc and just watched the rescue Sasuke part 2 with Sai arc. It is so-so not quite impressive but I find the ending sequence which focuses on Sai quite amusing. Sometimes, I wonder why is the action scenes in the opening of Katekyo Hitman Reborn! are more fun than the actual fighting in the episode. ^^;; Is it the music and how it is executed? Well, the subs will now be in Tsuna vs Xanxus so I hope it is good. I do liked how Hayato’s fight was done though. Reading in ANN, One Piece will be in the Moria vs Strawhats arc in January so I have to finish watching Eneas Lobby arc soon. ^^; Gundam 00 is still entertaining and watching it in HD helps. ^_^ I think Setsuna is really stupid to reveal his name and job to that princess – that is the only complaint I had so far. The series seems to be going to focus on pilots back story now rather than how Gundams affect the world.

Dragonaut – The Resonance can be quite boring but I’m still watching it for the sake of knowing what is going to happen in the end. It is indeed getting tiring the save-capture routine. Hehe, that means I haven’t reached the point of I don’t want to see more of this yet. The huge breasts scenes still bother me. I’m feeling gay/lesbian vibes in it, too. ef – a tale of memories is also good. I find the love story of the girl who had an accident interesting than the love triangle in the other one. I find the former much sad and depressing though at times, I feel the guy is a bit overacting. ^^;; I like the different art style that the studio is experimenting in this series. Myself;Yourself’s episode 11 was quite surprising for I didn’t except the twins’ friend to be the one who did that letter. I’m surprised she is lesbian ^^;; I did a double take as to if she is saying the wrong twin’s name but it turned out that she does like the girl twin. Since the twins left and I think this series will end on episode 13, so it will focus on the leads again. It made me think that they wasted some episodes on the young girl before since it doesn’t seem to contribute much to the story as a whole. After lots of boring stuff in Shakugan no Shana II, things finally get interesting when it is revealed that the Yuuji’s flame isn’t normal..or rather, it is silver and is connected to the one whom Margery is looking for. Moyashimon is still fun to watch – cute germs and the interactions – getting grossed out, etc. Ah, I have yet to catch up with Clannad. I actually re-download it to wide screen since I’m delayed watching it anyway.

Drama: I still haven’t watched Hotaru no Hikaru since first episode. I ended up watching Galileo since I missed watching detective stories. The story is about a science university teacher who is a ‘genius’ who helps this woman detective in solving cases which involves some supernatural incidents but with science, he explains what actually happened. It is amusing how the two interact. I’ve finished watching episode 2 and it is quite okay. The first episode is the mystery of spontaneous combustion while the other is about a boy claiming to fly and see what’s on the other side of a factory. The third one which I have watched a few minutes is about a missing man and a ‘shaking’ house. By episode 2, I learned that this series will have a movie. I actually checked the ratings first to see if it is good before downloading. =P Currently, I’m checking out Bad Love. Well, technically, it is for my mom. I tend not to believe Korean drama synopsis anymore since most are inaccurate. Anyway, the story seems to be about a love triangle of a cello player and two half-brothers. One brother is the business responsible type but has a temper while the other brother is a delinquent. From the posters and title, obviously the delinquent is the lead. The delinquent is played by the male lead of Stairway to Heaven while the other brother is played by the ‘other guy’ of Full House. My complain here is their hairstyle is awful especially for the older brother. I think they should fire the hairstylist that my mom complained why they look horrid here when they look okay in their past series. Haha, maybe around the middle, my mom will be the only one watching this by then. I tend to drop Korean dramas in the middle. Then, by January, they are going to do a live action drama of Hachimitsu to Clover. I do wonder if they are going to make a different ending as in a closed one rather than an open-ended. Well, hope it is good and I think I have to get adjusted to their human forms. ^^;

Game: I have stalled FF12 as I’m playing Persona 3. This will be made into an anime so I should try to finish this game though I doubt I can with the limited time I have. The game is interesting to play though as the character is balancing between fighting some shadows at night and ordinary school life. Shooting oneself on the head to release the persona can be quite disturbing though. I find myself I had to repeat since I feel there is a limited time with each day in the calendar that is passing so I have to maximize it. Hehe, like I can still go to other places but joined a school club already so I have to repeat it and go to other places first. It is hard balancing everything since the character has to make social links and improve those links in order to get new Persona cards and more level up. I have already volunteered to join a sports club, help in school council, befriended a guy who is into ramen and playing a mmorpg. I still have to up by academics then late night, fight shadows when everyone is healthy. Lol, so hectic. I have to choose which one of those I should do in a certain time. Anyway, I kind of like the nice bgm.

Weekly Jump Update: Bleach, Naruto, One Piece, D. Grayman, Reborn and Gintama

Bleach this week is just a side story of Hitsugaya’s past. Hitsugaya tend to dream of someone calling him and the place feels ‘icy’. He wakes up and sees Hinamori waking him up since she is going to shinigami academy. He lives with a grandmother and Hinamori until Hinamori goes to shinigami academy. Everyone else tends to avoid him which he thinks is because of his looks and of being thought to be quite cold like ice. He likes grandma because she never said anything about it. The scene changes to Hinamori again who bids him goodbye. It has been 5 years already since then. Hinamori’s hair has grown longer. Grandma has grown thinner. He didn’t grow taller. ^^; Grandma was going to say something but Hitsugaya finishes it saying that she is asking her to buy beans. At the store, the seller puts the money change on the counter table instead of putting it on Hitsugaya’s outstretched hand. Hitsugaya just takes the coins when Rangiku comes to shout at the seller why did the he did that for it is quite disrespectful to the customer even if it is just a kid. Rangiku’s breasts hit Hitsugaya that he was thrown backward and hits the edge of the counter. Hitsugaya holds his back of his neck in pain. Holding up Hitsugaya, Rangiku shouts that he shouldn’t cry for he is a man and he should be more forceful like a man. Hitsugaya shouts that he isn’t crying and it is all her fault that happened. Hitsugaya quickly releases himself from her grip and runs off.

Hitsugaya dreams again of someone calling him and he sees a huge ice dragon. Hitsugaya asks who it is. It tries to tell him his name but Hitsugaya can’t hear it from the noise it is making. Hitsugaya wakes up and Rangiku is there. She tells him to seal up his reitsu before sleeping else grandma will be cold. Hitsugaya notices that his grandmother is shivering. Rangiku asks him to become a shinigami so that he can control his power else he might someday kill off grandma unintentionally. Hitsugaya tries to protest but Rangiku tells him that he hears that voice so if he listens to it, he will be able to control his power but he would have to become a shinigami. Grandma agrees to let Hitsugaya go and tells him that it is more painful for her to see him forcing himself to stay there so that she won’t be alone. She then pats Hitsugaya’s bowed head. Last scene, Hitsugaya is wearing shinigami clothes and trying to discover the voice who called him. Well, this is somewhat like a promo chapter for the upcoming Bleach movie that will be released on Dec 22 since it focuses on Hitsugaya. Mm..I thought those bankai things comes with the zanpaku that chose them. It seems to be from within since Hitsugaya doesn’t have a zanpaku yet. I wonder if grandma became thin because of being cold every night when Hitsugaya sees the dragon. ^^; Anyway, the blurb said the next chapter will still be on Mayuri vs Aporro. I knew it won’t end that easily, just like Byakuya vs Zommari.

As Jiraiya is stabbed, he feels that he is going to die Naruto [c. 382]. He thought of himself as a failure in everything that he did in his life. Then he remembers talking to Minato who likes his novel about someone who won’t give up. Minato likes it so much that he decides to use the name of the character as the name of his son. Jiraiya tries to protest but Kishina, Minato’s wife, also likes the name Naruto. Unlike how Jiraiya thought of himself, Minato is all praises for him as being a great ninja. Then a flashback of Jiraiya and Orochimaru talking about what a great ninja is. For Orochimaru, it is being talented while for Jiraiya is it is about being able to endure everything – having a strong will. He remembered Naruto having a strong will just as his character in the novel and just as Naruto’s parents wished him to be. Jiraiya forces himself to become conscious again that even Pain is surprised. He doesn’t want to die just like that. Jiraiya releases the father frog and writes his will [I think] on it. Jiraiya realizes that the prophesized child who will become his student that can unite the whole ninja world is not Nagato/Pain but Naruto. Mm..interesting contrast with Orochimaru and Jiraiya’s point of view of what makes a great ninja. It is quite evident in their students. I guess this is it for Jiraiya. With two down, I wonder if Tsunade is next so that she can pass her slugs to Sakura. I will not be surprised if all the adults will be ripped in this series after all the emphasis before on the new generation. About what he wrote on the frog, I wonder if it is a will, something about Pain or he is giving all the frogs to Naruto. I think with that, Naruto can easily power up just as Sasuke did when he got Orochimaru’s snakes. I think Naruto will go a bit berserk when he learns of Jiraiya’s death. I wonder if Tobi will still be there when he learns of it. I do hope he would quit playing tag with Sasuke for a while and just concentrate on Akatsuki. I think they are wasting too much manpower on the hunt for Sasuke who isn’t a threat and Sasuke can stand on his own against others. Haven’t it occurred to him that with Akatsuki around, he might lose more people close to him? Even if it is pathetic for a future hokage not to be able to save his friend, I think it is more pathetic if he isn’t able to save the others in the village from threats like Akatsuki because he is just concentrating on one friend who doesn’t care for him anyway. Who wants that kind of hokage? I think they will forgive him if he can’t save Sasuke as long as he is there for them. Haha, I’m thinking how Sai did before ^^; Anyway, there won’t be anymore porn novels for Kakashi anymore.

As the other pirates cower in fear from Moria and the sun coming out, Zoro and others including Lola stand firm in One Piece [c. 482]. Zoro tells them that they can win this fight and the only problem is if they can do it before the sun shines on them. Moria is using that kind of strength just to stall for time. Luffy goes into gear 2 and hits Moria’s stomach. It made Moria spit out some of the shadows. Luffy beats him up some more as the others wonder if Moria can’t keep all those 1000 shadows inside him that they are spilling out. Moria shouts for Luffy to stay at his place and don’t dream big dreams. Moria locks Luffy in a shadow box and beats him. To the other pirates’ shock, Luffy still stands up. Luffy tells Moria that he won’t be beaten because he is rubber. The sun is shining on some of the pirates that they quickly try to hide. Luffy inflates himself as Chopper and others were worried about Luffy ruining his body if he used that technique again. Luffy hits Moria’s stomach again that Moria has to cover his mouth to keep the shadows from spilling out. Lola shouts for her shadow to come back and she won’t back away especially since it is right in front of her. Her pirates try to cover her up before she is burned by the sun. Another pirate also calls out for his shadow. This inspires Luffy to also call out to his shadow to come to him if it wants to become Pirate King. Luffy hits Moria one last time before bouncing away. Then, a tower falls down on Moria. Pinning him down, Moria can only shout that the real nightmare will await them in New World. All of the shadows pour out of Moria’s mouth but the sun is already burning away Zoro, Sanji and Robin’s faces. Lola shouts for her shadow to come. The other pirates start to burn to. Ah..if they got their shadows back, would their bodies be restored again? ^^;; I mean their heads are burned off already. Well, I guess that’s that for Moria. Amusingly if in this week’s Naruto, it is just talking about will power in theory, but here in One Piece, they put it in practice. ^-^

Lulu is transporting that egg while more skulls are being made from the other scientists in D. Gray-man [c. 141]. Allen tries to stop them but he got attacked by more akumas. Bookman saves him once but Bookman got himself caught. Allen also got himself caught and was hit unconscious by Lulu. Lulu wants to bring Allen with them since he is a musician with the will of the 14th. The newly made skulls pass through the ark gate that Lulu made and she herself went in. An akuma tries to finish off Bookman but Revere and others uses their barriers to protect him. Bak uses their own barrier to prevent Allen from being taken. Bak and Johnny calls out to Allen to wake up. Allen manages to wake up and finishes off the two akuma holding him. To Allen’s surprise, the egg is pulled back up from the gate by Miranda’s innocence. She is being carried by Noise. Allen is then surprised again that the generals are all there to help them. For now, only akumas remain unless Lulu comes back to get the egg back again. Well, as I thought, Allen’s grand entrance doesn’t match his performance. I wonder how guys would think of Allen. You see, before my brother actually watched Fushigi Yuugi once in a while for the fights and was very disappointed to see Tamahome failing to defeat Nakago even if he supposedly powered up. He thinks he is pathetic that they even have to seal up Nakago’s powers. So, I’m thinking guys like power up guys like Son Goku and Luffy. My theory that is why Allen isn’t number one in the poll as of late. I’ll even count in Naruto who is beaten by Sasuke in the poll. I think that was before Naruto actually defeated an Akatsuki. Hehe, it could also be the reason why Tsuna from Reborn isn’t number 1 either. It made me think if Bleach has a character poll right now, Ichigo might not be number 1 either. =P

Haru asks Bianchi if it is okay to prepare that much meat for this meal in Katekyo Hitman Reborn! [c. 174]. Bianchi tells her that it is set aside just for this time and it will help make the others more vigorous. Bianchi says they can even drink wine and play until they’re tired. Haru exclaims then it is a party. Ipin is excited. Tsuna is looking for something in this clothes. When he goes out he sees Giannini who is finishing last minute preparations. Tsuna then meets with Hayato and Takeshi. Tsuna asks if their practice is over. The two says it did and it went quite smoothly. Reborn says that they will go to battle tomorrow. They asked what about Tsuna’s practice which Lal is even impressed with. Tsuna says that it is nothing but he has something to do. He quickly leaves and wonders where is the protection talisman that Kyoko gave him for the fight is already tomorrow. In Hibari’s place, Ryohei wants to show the others how great they are as adults. Hibari says he doesn’t want to. This made Ryohei angry as Kusa restrains him. Ryohei angrily shouts that Hibari never grew up since before. Hibari tells him that his goal isn’t just to bond with them. Kura asks Lal about her condition. Lal says she will still fight for their strength isn’t really that high. Ryohei protests about that but Hibari says if she wants to die then go ahead. This made Ryohei angry again as Kusa restrain him again. Reborn comes and asks what is their success rate. Kusa says no matter how he analyzed it, their chance of success is 0.0024% They then discuss whether to tell it to Tsuna and others or not since that will be quite discouraging. Reborn tells the others that he thinks it is stupid to just base things on data for they have discounted the latent ability of the others.

Tsuna is still running around looking for his talisman when he bumps into Kyoko who is brining in the laundry. Tsuna helps Kyoko pick up the clothes as he frets over the talisman. Kyoko thanks him that Tsuna says it is his fault so no need to thank him. Kyoko says she means when Tsuna saved her the first time she had arrived there. She wanted to thank him before but he lost consciousness. Tsuna says it is nothing. She confessed that she actually forgot about that incident for it seems her brain went blank but thanks to Bianchi she remembered it today. She tells Tsuna that it was him and she called his name many times. Tsuna is beaming about this. Kyoko says she is so strange for she doesn’t want to think about it so her brain went blank but after thinking about it a lot today, she remembered it. Tsuna asks isn’t she afraid of the fight anymore. Kyoko smiles and says yes. Tsuna thought that Kyoko is cute, no wonder she is the sun. He then notices his talisman on top of the clothes that Kyoko has just picked up. Kyoko says she found it inside his clothes while she is washing them. Tsuna remembers that he forgot to get it out after changing his clothes. He apologizes for treating her talisman that way. Kyoko says that she wanted to tell him that she fixed his clothes. Tsuna is thrilled over it because the alterations are just as what he wanted. He tells her that he will wear it tomorrow. Kyoko asks if tomorrow is the day when everyone can return to the past, does everyone else knows. Tsuna looks a bit gloomy but assures Kyoko that they will all go back to the past. To Tsuna’s surprise, Kyoko tells him not to force himself too much. Tsuna starts to fret over it as Kyoko thought that she just wanted to say good luck. Hayato and Takeshi call out to them to tell them that dinner is ready.

Meanwhile, Irie is asking if they have found the hideout of the Vongola. They had asked some guy with a huge hat to pinpoint where it is. Cervello gives Irie the coordinates. Everyone is shock as to why they haven’t discovered it before. Irie realizes that their base is also located underground. Cervello asks what does Irie plan to do. Irie asks how are the preparations. Tsuna and others are still partying. Reborn tries to make Tsuna eat the food that Bianchi has made. Tsuna is shock to see Hayato and Takeshi all red-faced from a ‘juice’ which turns out to be wine. Mm..so Irie is going to attack them while they were sleeping. It will be quite messy. Reborn’s past isn’t talked about so I’m guessing maybe the author plans to reveal it later on when there is more information on 7^3 which includes the seven Vongola rings and seven pacifiers of the Arcobaleno. The other seven seems to be the Millefiore’s rings that Byakuran and Irie have. So, I guess the fighting begins in the next chapter. This is indeed the typical calm before the storm. Somehow, I’m not sure how Tsuna’s love life will be resolved with two girls liking him. Is this a classic love triangle or as mafia boss, it isn’t too strange to have two ‘wives/lovers’? ^^; I was thinking if Tsuna said Kyoko is the sun so would Haru be the moon? Oh well, I don’t think we’ll ever get to that because this is a shounen series after all.

In Gintama [c. 194], the man is still angry that Katsura is hampering his freedom as he still can’t sleep. A tough guy tries to pick a fight with Katsura but Katsura is unfazed. The man tries to talk with the tough guy and that he has no plans in making him an enemy. The tough guy has this fetish on cutting sleeves that he tries to get to the man but Katsura saves him. Soon, everyone else acknowledges Katsura. Things begin to change in that place as prisoners became more happier and looking forward to the future. Even the man decided to close up the hole he is digging. Everyone seems to be content but Katsura actually has plans to escape. Elizabeth has dug a hole and just when Katsura is about to go out, two flashing eyes are looking at him from behind. Katsura lies flat on the ground and wonders who it is. It turned out that even the man and everyone else have that idea but like the others, the same flashing eyes are behind them. It turned out that there are too many holes being dug that when the lights from the prison or from the two waiting on a boat outside, it appears that someone is looking from them from behind. ^^;;

A girl gets depressed while playing her Nintendo DS because she got dumped by her virtual boyfriend. She is playing a shoujo/dating simulation game. She laments that even if their compatibility was 95%, yet she has been trying to get three guys at the same time. To her surprise, a good looking boy with a mole near his chin is behind her. He is laughing at her and asks if it is because she is dating multiple guys at the same time. She gets embarrassed as she realized that he is watching her play. He then gives her a Chupa Chups lollipop. Waving goodbye, he says good luck. A couple of guys called out to the boy asking where he went. Looking at the lollipop, she thought that she wants strawberry flavor. She then thought that’s wrong that she quickly looks at the boy again. The boy turns out to be looking at her and he finally burst into a laughter. She feels ‘lonely’ and thought that the lollipop is just a ‘consolation prize’ [pitying her]. She angrily thought what’s that about. Her friend comes by and says it is the first time she saw her talking with a boy. Her friend asks if she has finally ‘awaken’ by that boy. The girl asks what does she mean by that. Her friend reprimands her for playing that dating simulation game when they are already a grade older. The girl gloomily thought that she just failed in that virtual relationship. Hugging her, her friend tells her to find a ‘live’ boy this year. The girl gloomily says that she has already forgotten when was the last time she talked with a boy other than her family members. Her friend says it will be different this time and she is excited that they are going to high school together. The girl says she is also happy about that and she hopes Akemi will be in the same class as her. Looking at the lollipop, she decides to eat it even if she doesn’t like the flavor. She wonders if she will get a boyfriend in high school.

On her way to school, she squeezes in with the other people at the subway train. She then sees a boy come out of the train. She thought that he looks exactly like the guy in her dating sim, Hikaru. On the bulletin board, Kaiji Kotori [her name literally means little bird] is in section F while Uno Akemi is in section A. Kotori is dismayed that she isn’t in the same class as Akemi. As she waves goodbye to her friend, Kotori becomes sad when she overhears some people laughing at her name. Sitting in the chair, second to the last row, Kotori braces for the teacher’s role call. The teacher calls out to Abe. A boy stands up and introduces himself as Abe Arihiro and if they are looking for a lover, look for him. Someone asks if he has a girlfriend. Arihiro says he doesn’t. They laugh at him for how could he play matchmaker when he doesn’t have a girlfriend himself. Kotori thought that he is quite sociable. She then concentrates on her name or rather surname being called since it is coming soon. The teacher then calls out, Kaiji. She stands up and says here. To her surprise, everyone is looking at her in surprise and starts to talk how could Kaiji be a girl, they thought Kaiji is a boy. The teacher calls for them to keep quiet. They were all interrupted when the door slams open and it is the boy whom she met the other day. The boy sits down behind her seat as she wonders why is the guy who gave her a lollipop there. The teacher reprimands the boy for skipping the opening ceremony and addresses him as Kaiji, too. Everyone is surprised as they learned that he has the same surname as Kotori’s. The boy tells them that he is Kaiji Yukito. Kotori glances at him then looks away. Yukito tells the teacher that he overslept. The teacher said if he is like that then he shouldn’t sleep at all and just go there. Yukito answers if he did that, he will be sleeping in school. The teacher then tells Kotori to sit down. Kotori wonders what she should do for this is the guy who saw her being dumped in a dating game. Kotori begins to hope that he doesn’t recognize her. To her dismay, Yukito holds her hair and says that girls are scary, dating multiple guys at the same time, right, Kotori? Kotori thought, argh, he remembers. She nervously turns around. Yukito asks if he has guessed it right for he just thought that she is using her real name in the game. Kotori thought that this guy is really infuriating.

After class, Akemi tells Kotori rumors about Yukito being quite famous as a delinquent that he fought with another person in his other school that he got transferred. Kotori thought no wonder everyone looked at her when the teacher called out Kaiji. Kotori thought it is a good thing that she didn’t irked him else, he would have stolen her DS. They were interrupted when a girl bids Akemi goodbye. Kotori is sad that unlike her, Akemi has already made a friend. Another time in class, a teacher is asking Kaiji to recite something. Both Kaiji-s answer that the teacher says he isn’t calling the Kaiji in front. Kotori is embarrassed. Yukito seems to be asking to lend her lesson book but Kotori can’t object that she only answers, huh..eh..ah.. To Yukito’s surprise, Kotori is blushing. Yukito says that kind of nervous reaction is troublesome. The other students were laughing as they were talking that Kotori’s face is all red. During the lunch break, Kotori laments that she didn’t know how to object so that happened. She thought that it is all Yukito’s fault that everyone is laughing at her. Looking from the window, she sees a couple talking to each other and she hopes that she can normally chat with guys, too. She wonders why Yukito is provoking her, is it because of the game. A couple of girls from her class calls out to her and asks what’s her relationship with Yukito. Kotori is surprised that for it is the first time someone called out to her to talk. She says that there is nothing between them. They say that they thought the two of them were friends. They introduce themselves as Harada and Motoki. The two girls say that Yukito is known to be a delinquent but then, he doesn’t seem to be and he is actually cool looking. The two says it’s great that their surnames are the same. Kotori is disappointed that they came to talk to her about Yukito. One of the girls point that to Yukito. Kotori looks back and sees Yukito laughing with his friends. Kotori blushes their eyes met that she quickly looks away. The two girls then say what’s with her name, it is really weird. She remembers someone saying the same thing so Kotori just laughs it off and says was it strange. Yukito is glancing towards her direction.

Back in class, Kotori is depressed over what happened that they talked about her name when she doesn’t want them to emphasize it too much. She wonders why she has that kind of name. Yukito asks if Kotori hates her name. Kotori is aghast that he brought that up and wonders if he was listening earlier. Yukito tells her not to mind so much about it because Kotori is a cute name. Kotori says she hates it and please don’t call her name so easily. Yukito says if he doesn’t call her Kotori, it would be problematic to call her something else like Kaiji 1 or Kaiji 2. Kotori remembers that person [shadowed guy] again asking what’s with her name, what a weird name. Yukito says how about he calls her ‘Kujaku’ [peacock]. Kotori can’t take it anymore that she shouts that she just said she hates it. Everyone including the teacher are looking at them. Yukito says that she isn’t cute. The teacher asks what is the fuss between the two Kaiji, the class is in session. As punishment, the teacher orders them to clean up the storage room. Kotori cannot believe it. After class, Harada asks if she is going to clean the room. Kotori says she will. Harada tries to tell her not to do it for who cares about the teacher, for they are going out with Yukito. Kotori declines and says that she has to go some place. Yukito bids her goodbye and calls her ‘Ana-chan’ – [Ana is the first kanji of word peacock]. In the storage room, Kotori is fixing the things as she angrily thought about Yukito’s teasing and calling her Ana-chan. She sees Akami passing by. She is about call her but Akami is busy talking with her new friend. Kotori gloomily thought that it would be better if she just went with the others. Kotori thought that the other girls were talking to her and being invited after class is all because of Yukito. Meanwhile, with the other girls, Yukito looks thoughtful. Kotori reprimands herself for thinking of Yukito and to her surprise, Yukito comes in the room. She is carrying some papers in folders as Yukito is offering her a donut. She blushes and can’t believe he was there that she drops what she is carrying. Yukito helps hold the papers so that they won’t fall. Cornering her, he asks why are you looking at me this morning, Ana-chan?

Kotori wonders why is he asking this. Yukito then says that he is just joking around. He shows her the donut and says that this is delicious. He muses that she is cute like a parakeet and advices her to look for a ‘living’ boyfriend. Yukito leaves her as she realizes that the donut she is holding is another ‘consolation prize’. That night, while taking a bath, she is angrily complains about Yukito yet the donut he gave her was delicious. She wonders to herself why she is looking at him. About looking for a ‘living’ boyfriend, who care about that, she likes playing ‘Memories of Falling in Love’ game. The next day, going to school, Kotori sees Hikaru-lookalike again at the station. She then loses her balance when ‘Hikaru’ holds her up and asks if she is alright. Kotori blushes and apologizes. ‘Hikaru’ offers to hold her as the train is moving. She tries to thank him but she can’t muster the courage. ‘Hikaru’ then says that her necktie is crooked. He fixes it for her. When his stop came, he bids her goodbye and left. Kotori thought that he was cool. From behind her, Harada says, not bad. Harada greets her and says that they are riding on the same train. Harada asks if that guy from Shou Sekae [school] is her boyfriend. Kotori says he wasn’t, it isn’t possible for that guy is so cool. Harada says really but she cares about that guy. Kotori is confused and says, really. Harada just giggles. At school, to Kotori’s shock, Harada tells Yukito that Kotori likes a guy from Shou Sekae. She begins to tell the others that in the train, that cool guy helped Kotori and Kotori’s face was all red, it was so cute. Kotori wonders why things become like this and why is Harada telling it out loud to the others. Harada calls out to Arihiro and others to help out and make a match with that guy from Shou Sekae and Kotori. Kotori thought that she doesn’t like what they are doing. They were all interrupted when the desk falls down. Yukito says that his foot slipped. Yukito’s friend quickly changes the topic and asks where are they going after school, they should do what they did yesterday and have fun with Arihiro. Harada says if Yukito is with them then it’s good for they would eat out and even take lots of pictures together. She then asks for Yukito’s mobile number. Yukito says it’s a secret, he only gives it to the person he likes. Harada complains what does that mean. It made her a bit angry. Yukito glances at Kotori who is looking at him. Kotori wonders if Yukito just helped her.

Playing her DS again, Hikaru asks if does this mean that they are friends. The choices are: a. ah, of course, that’s how it is, b. ..sorry and c. the truth is I like you. Kotori remembers Harada talking to her. She thought that she has gained a good friend in Harada that she is really happy but why would Harada say those things. What did I do wrong? What should I do so that we will be friends? What should I do so that I can easily talk to others like how I can with Yukito? She then angrily thought why is she thinking of him. She loudly shouts to no one, sorry I’m playing a shoujo/dating game in school. She then decides to use the chat program, called Picto Chat [Picto Chat is a communication application built in to every Nintendo DS. It allows you to transfer messages and images to friends via the wireless connection.] She randomly presses chatroom A. She thought she is pathetic for she is the only one in that chatroom. To her shock, someone also logs in. It is Ichijou Hikaru – the full name of the character in the game. She starts to look around and wonders who it is for the chat works within 10 meters. Hikaru writes in “let’s play a ‘Memories of Falling in Love’ guessing game.” Kotori starts to guess each male character that Hikaru drew. Kotori starts to look around wondering who is also a fan of this game. She writes in, “Who are you?” Akemi calls out to her and tells her that they go sing in a karaoke bar after school because since coming to school, they didn’t spend time together. Kotori is surprised and agrees to go with her. She then sees a message is left in the chatroom. “If Kotori smiles, she looks cute and become more lively by Hikaru.” She glances around again wondering who Hikaru is. She looks at the message again and then she smiles. She thought, thanks, Hikaru, I won’t forget to smile.

At Karaoke Shina X bar, Kotori is singing yet she looks gloomy already. She shouts to Akemi is she listening to her because Akemi is busy emailing/texting someone on her mobile phone. Akemi apologizes and says that Kotori can go ahead and sing what she wants, don’t mind her. Kotori says that isn’t what she meant, wasn’t today suppose.. She didn’t finish as Akemi tells her that she is going to answer her friend’s phone call so she is going outside because it is noisy inside. Akemi says that she will be right back. Akemi left as Kotori thought that it was Akemi who said that they are going to spend time together and yet... She sits down on the sofa depressed. She decides to vent her anger and starts shouting at the microphone that Akemi is stupid, stupid, stupid. She then shouts, Yukito is also stupid. His teasing infuriates her. I’m not cute, sorry about that, stupid! Even teases me for playing a shoujo game. With Hikaru..playing what game, you booger. She means Yukito’s mole as booger. She then hears a loud bang on the door. Kotori looks back and is shock to see Yukito angrily asks her, “who did you say is booger?” Kotori then sings, “booger, what is that, I don’t care ♥” Yukito angrily kicks the door open shouting for her to let him in. Kotori tries to close it to no avail. With three hoodlum looking guys behind him, Yukito tells her how about they all sing together. Kotori freaks out. Yukito’s friends ask Yukito who Kotori is. Yukito tells them that she is his girl. Yukito happily hugs protesting Kotori and tells them to take care of her.

The three guys is surprised that Kotori is Yukito’s girl. They stare at her for a while. They say that Yukito’s taste has changed for Kotori looks ordinary..it is really quite unexpected. Yukito says they’re too much, they should go ahead in the room. They tell him to quickly come for Lai Zi [can’t find the romanji and I’m putting that in case that person shows up in latter chapters] and others will be coming soon. He looks back and see Kotori who seems to be moping. Yukito asks if she is alright for he thought she is crying or something. Yukito is shock to see Kotori gloomily looking at him. Kotori tells him that it really gave her a scare. Yukito starts to laugh. Kotori is embarrassed and shouts what is he laughing about, she was really scared. Yukito apologizes to her and says that it seems that she can also talk and not just say, ‘huh..eh..ah..’ Kotori is embarrassed and starts to say, “huh..eh..ah” Yukito says that she is really something, and is very interesting. He then offers her a Chupa Chups lollipop. Smiling at her, Yukito asks if she likes strawberry. He induced that so he knew. Kotori is confused. Yukito tells her, “Here.” Kotori takes the lollipop and says she likes but that even if it is a joke, don’t say that she is his girlfriend. Yukito turns her around to face him and says, “Then, make me your boyfriend.”

This series has some similarities with Papillon. Just like Chou, Kotori is shy and lonely that she doesn’t have friends much less a boyfriend. Unlike Chou, Kotori has an outlet for her loneliness and that is her DS dating game. Here comes a guy who pays attention to her and just like Papillon, there is that irritating girl who tries to bully her. It is pretty obvious that Harada wants Kotori out of the way so that she can get Yukito. Harada seems to know that Yukito is interested in Kotori hence the treatment. Also, even when Yukito is famous for being a delinquent, it is amusing that he is really nice at heart. Maybe there is a reason why he beat up that guy in his former school. I also wonder if he is the ‘Hikaru’ who chats with her in Picto Chat. Even if the art isn’t that good but like the new titles that I’m summarizing, there is a certain ‘charm’ to it that gets me to keep reading. Oh ya, I don't know about Japanese or other culture, but in my culture as Chinese, it is not encouraged to marry people with the surnames. If ever they do, we will have to check first if the homeland/village where our grandparents lived are not the same. Well, that was before but now, people don't pay much attention to it except for older people. ^^;

Takami and Akira has just arrived at Aoyama Piano School. Shinobu congratulates them as Aoyama holds a newsletter from Aoba Piano Concourus. Takami narrates that in the last few days, there is a preliminary competition for the contest and everything went smoothly. Those who will progress in the competition will have their pictures in the newsletter. Aoyama says their pictures there are very clear. Takami groans and says it isn’t clear for her eyes in the picture are half-closed. She even flashed a v-sign in the picture. ^^; Takami likes Akira’s picture in the newsletter and wants to keep it forever. Aoyama agrees. Akira gloomily tells them not to do that. They apologizes to him. Holding Akira’s shoulder, Shinobu says that the most important thing is he will watch over him and see if he can get a prize.. Akira pushes Shinobu’s face away. Smiling, he tells Takami that they should go to their piano lesson already. Shinobu gloomily complains that he is the one responsible for everything and yet. Takami tries to cheer him up. Aoyama tells Akira that with his ability and playing normally, Akira can easily get a prize. Aoyama exclaims that surely, he will get first prize and he will watch over him. Akira just smiles and says yes. Takami also joins in to exclaim that Akira will surely get the first prize. Shinobu just looks at them.

After piano lesson, the two were walking home. Takumi asks Akira if he has practice his piece, ‘Fly’ already. She will be playing a piece by Mozart and she will do her best. To Takami’s surprise, Akira seems to have spaced out as he didn’t react to what she just said. It is only when Takami calls out to him when Akira snaps out of it. Akira asks her what is it. Takami says it is nothing, she is just asking if he has practice his piece already. Akira smiles and says he knows that piece so he doesn’t have to put much effort it in. Takami then notices that Akira looks a bit sad for a moment. She even becomes more surprised when Akira holds her hand and says that he will definitely get first prize. Takami is a bit confused about this and laughs it off that of course if it is him, he will win. Akira smiles slightly and looks away. Takami is still a bit confused as Akira won’t let go of her hand. At school, she is still wondering what Akira did the other day when he won’t let go of her hand after saying that he will get the first prize. She wonders if he is tired from practicing for the contest. Takami is then surprised to see her two friends in front of her. They ask what is she thinking. Takami tries to tell them it is nothing but her friend says they are friends so she should tell them. During lunch, Takami says she can’t quite exactly know how to say it but it seems that Akira is listless and it could be because he is tired from the preparation for the competition. Her long haired friend asks if Akira is depressed for a depressed prince looks cool. Her short haired friend says that Takami should go and cheer him up. Long haired friend agrees and says because he is Takami’s husband. Takami and long haired friend starts to argue as Takami says Akira isn’t her husband. Short haired friend suggests that Takami cooks a bento box for Akira since she likes Takami’s prepared food. Takami begins to think of what kind of food would make Akira more energetic.

Takami arrives in Akira’s house. She rings the bell then wonders if she should give it to him since she should have asked first if he wants to eat a bento box. Akira opens the door and asks what’s up. Pointing to her bag, Takami quickly says that she will accompany him in eating a bento box she has prepared. Akira asks why. Takami blushes and says she just wants to. Akira smiles and thanks her. He tells her that he will eat it. Takami is happy to see Akira smiling. Akira then invites her inside. There are two bento boxes – one is rice and breaded pork chop [tonkatsu] and the other is grilled eel, rice and a couple of side dishes. Takami exclaims for him to eat up. Akira just stares at the food. Takami asks if he thinks it isn’t balanced in nutrition. Akira says not really then he starts to eat. Takami is observing his reaction and she is glad that Akira smiles and says it is delicious. Takami is happy that he looks energetic again and tells him to eat all of it. Akira says he will. Note says the truth is Akira already ate dinner. Looking at the display cabinet, Takami says Akira is really great, there are many award cups, award medals, award certifications, and all of them are first prize. Akira says it is because his mother made him join many competitions. Takami exclaims is that so, Akira really has many first prizes. Akira still smiling says, ...yes. Akira says he has finished practicing the piece for the competition. Takami is shock that he has finished practicing. Akira asks if she would like to listen to it. Takami says she really would like to listen but she haven’t practice hers yet so she should go home and do her best. Takami put the bento boxes in her bag and bids him goodbye.

As Takami prepares to leave, Akira sees his mother’s image superimposed on Takami. Takami looks surprised as Akira has grabbed her arm. She looks behind her and sees a pitiful looking Akira telling her to wait. Takami calls out his name twice before Akira snaps out of it. Akira quickly lets go of her arm and apologizes. He tries to tell her that nothing is wrong. Takami realizes that her gut feel about Akira’s mood being listless is right. She holds his face and tells him to tell her. She says that he is listless, so what happened? Akira still tries to deny it. Takami starts to pinch his face and make him tell her else she will sever ties with him. Takami starts to pinch his face harder that in the end, Akira relents and agrees to tell her. Akira asks if he didn’t get the first prize, will she be disappointed in him. This made Takami angry that she rushes to him. This made Akira back away to the piano until he sits on the piano’s bench. Takami corners him and angrily shouts that she really likes the piano music that he plays. So how could I be disappointed in you if you didn’t win the first prize? Stupid! Akira looks at her in surprise. Takami continues to say why does he think that way, he should just depend on his own ability and play normally and everything will go smoothly... Akira asks if she is referring about winning the first prize. Takami says yes. Akira tells her that on the cabinet only the first prize trophies are displayed and honestly, he also got some second prizes. Those that aren’t first prizes are not recognized. Akira confesses that he was worried that if he didn’t win the first prize, Takami will detest him. Afraid that you may disappear from my side. I’m afraid..

Takami remembers that time before wherein Akira was reprimanded by his mother for not winning the first prize and that that his father won’t notice them. Flashback: After Akira’s mother left, Akira’s head is bowed. This made young Takami to quickly go to him. She called out to him and invited him to eat cake with her brothers. Akira then smiles and agrees to go with her. Akira then holds her hand as they go. End flashback. Takami remembers that Akira holding her hand before is the same as Akira holding her hand just recently when he told her that he will win the first prize. He won’t let go of her hand. Takami wonders why she didn’t realize it earlier. Everyone is pressuring Akira to win the first prize when it is traumatic for him. Takami apologizes to Akira for saying too many times about wanting him to win first prize. Akira says it is nothing and it is because he is listless that he said those childish things. He apologizes and tells her that he shouldn’t strongly stop her just now,...he is okay now. Akira walks away then looks a bit nervous when Takami asks if he doesn’t want her to go. Akira tells her to forget about that. Takami says no! They argue a bit about that as Takami realizes it isn’t that Akira want to win the first prize but rather, he is afraid that if he didn’t win the first prize, he will become all alone. A scene of his mother leaving him. Takami hugs him from behind and tells him that she will be waiting here for him. Akira looks surprised.

She assures him that whether or not he wins the prize, it isn’t important, so he can ahead and play it for her first. Akira looks at her and says, huh? Takami asks what’s with that reaction, she wants to listen to it, can’t she? I want to listen to your playing. Akira calls out her name and says, I.. After a pause, Takami shouts at him to quickly say it already. Akira smiles and says that he plays only for her. Takami is surprised and starts to blush. She shouts that she already told him to play. Akira says he will. Akira starts to play the piano. Takami smiles as she listens to him play. To Akira’s surprise, Takami is sitting beside him on the piano bench. Takami is leaning on him that Akira says she is heavy[? – can’t read it] Takami tells her to quit complaining and just play. Akira says, okay, okay. No matter what happens in the competition, it doesn’t matter, because at the closest place to you, I will be listening to your playing.

Well, Takami has helped Akira overcome his trauma over playing in competitions. I do wonder if that contest wherein he got second place was the last one he played before his mother passed away. That would explain why Akira would really fear not winning the first prize for it might be Takami who is next to disappear from his life especially after Shinobu’s provocation earlier. He really does seem to be quite lonely if it haven’t been for Takami. It’s nice that Takami did notice that there is something wrong with Akira. It is usually Akira if something is bothering her. This chapter shows Akira’s vulnerable side when in the earlier chapters, he seems to be cool and perfect. Skip Beat! [Chapter 114]

Kura prepares two mugs of coffee/tea. He then carries the tray with the mugs and some canisters of sugar and milk [?]. He heads to the video room where Julie is watching Kuon/Ren’s video for them in a huge television screen. Julie’s face isn’t shown but from her long hair, it is obvious that Ren has inherited his original hair color from her. Julie is sniffing as Kuon is thanking them for the their deep love they have given him. Kura pats Julie’s head and asks if she is crying again. Julie says she can’t help it for she is moved to tears no matter how many times she watched it. Kura smiles and says he understands for Kuon is more energetic now than before. Julie agrees that the color of Kuon’s face is much better now. Kura then gives her a mug and tells her to drink it while it is hot. The video is now at the part where Kuon says when that time comes, please let me freely call out to you. Kura is now sitting down with Julie and holding her close to him. Julie says that she will listen happily when Kuon calls her ‘mommy’ Kura agrees. Julie wonders how long will she have to wait. Kura says he thinks it won’t be too long before that happens. She asks how did he know. Kura says of course, because that child is a hardworking person. Julie laughs and says that’s true. In the video, Kuon starts to say, -- lastly, for my father whom I respect. Kura remembers when Kyouko tells him that her feelings with young Kuon is pretty much the same. Kura tells Julie, that girl’s feelings is really the same as Kuon’s. Julie asks whom is he talking about. Kura says it is the story of the other Kuon. Julie is confused. Kura says Julie, honestly, in Japan, I have gotten/taken in another child.

Flashback to when Kyouko called out to Kura at the hotel lobby: Kyouko looked at Kura as everyone else is shock. They started to whisper and talk about Kuon. They knew that Kura has a son named Kuon. That child really resembled his mother -- a boy who looks like a girl and is very cute. Someone said that he/she has seen young Kuon from the New Year card that Kura has sent before wherein Kura has attached his family’s picture. They began to wonder how Kuon looks like now when he is all grown up. Surely, he is now a cool looking bishonen. They all wanted to see him not knowing that Kuon is already there – as Ren, that is. It is as they thought of Ren, a cool looking bishonen. Ren just stood there pretending to be oblivious of what they are talking about. The others began to wonder why that girl is addressed as Kuon by Kura and what’s her relationship with Kura. Ren wondered if Kura has told the others about it. [I’m not too sure about what – maybe about his situation as Kuon] Ren perked up when Kyouko called out to Kura, calling him papa. Everyone looked surprised. Kura smiled at her as Kyouko determinedly said she will try to act that ‘bully’ role. Kura is surprised yet glad about this. Kyouko said honestly, she still hates doing that ‘bully’ role but she has decided and she will not run away anymore. She will do that ‘bully’ role in a different style. Even though she doesn’t know if she can actually do it well, but this is a test for her to become a true actress. Ren looks surprised by what she said. Kyouko said, I will do my utmost best and go fight bravely, believing in my own ability. Kura smiled and said that’s good, you have already decided, that’s my child. Kura gave her a thumbs up. Kyouko is beaming with happiness and also gave Kura a thumbs up. Behind Kyouko, Kura is surprised to see Ren somewhat smiling. Ren then bowed to him. Kura wondered what does it mean, that action of his is really significant, that reason behind that complex smile, at that time, I honestly don’t understand it. End flashback.

Julie praises Kyouko that she is really great even when she is a girl, she is really the same as Kuon. Kura says as an actress and as a person, Kyouko made him -- to be very interested in her. Julie says she would also want to see Kyouko even once. Kura says she can because he has told Kyouko that she is welcome to come there whenever she wants. Julie says, really? I’ll eagerly anticipate that. Flashback: In the car, probably on the way to the airport, Kura has invited Kyouko to come to his place. Kyouko is beaming and asks, really? Kura said of course, a child can always go to his/her parents’ home. You can come whenever you want to come. Kyouko sparkled some more as Kura told her that he will prepare lots of delicious food for her to eat. Kyouko bows her head and said, yes! Kura said aside from that, now that you are my child, there shouldn’t be a need for you to keep on pretending to be Kuon. Kyouko froze and starts becoming like a puppet of a ventriloquist who can’t barely say papa. Kyouko started to panic as she has difficulty saying it. Kura told her okay, I know, until you practiced some more [in calling him father], you can still act as Kuon. End flashback. Kura muses what Kyouko was trying to say before, was it papa or father? Julie is watching Kuon’s videotape again which has been replayed. Kura also eager anticipate how Kyouko will call him [father] on her own words and how long will he wait for that to happen. As an actor/actress, as a person, I really can’t wait to see for you two to grow up, my children.

In two separate places, Ren is talking with Lory about accepting the new role as a killer while Kyouko is taking with Kanae about accepting the new role as a bully again. Both Lory and Kanae asks if they have decided. Both Ren and Kyouko says they have. In the videotape where Kuon addresses his father, Kuon said that he has decided to accept the job of acting as a cold-blooded murderer. Lory is frowning and says if anything happens he won’t help Ren. Ren just smiles and says he knows. Videotaped Kuon said honestly, this kind of role is something I do not want to play, it is really upsetting, but I have already decided and I will not run away anymore. Lory sighs and finally relents. He says okay because Ren has become stronger. Kanae is also frowning and reprimands Kyouko that is why she can’t get out of her ‘homely’ [good at housework] image. Kyouko says that nobody knows about that image of hers. Kyouko admits that she isn’t happy doing the villain role but this can also be called being practical. She tells Kanae that even if it is the same, she will do the villain roles differently that they have different profound impression to others. Kanae tells her that doing all those villain roles isn’t that much different and the audience will get sick of watching that. Kyouko can only just smile. Videotaped Kuon said hurting other people, even if it is just acting, I’m also not sure if I can or cannot act it out. I plan to gamble and try to see if I can. This time, I must cross over the bottleneck/hindrance that was given by God. Lory tells Ren to do what he has already decided to do and try it out. Kanae has also told Kyouko to do what she wants to do. Videotaped Kuon said testing what I can do in my utter best, go fight bravely, believing in my own ability. Watching the videotape, Kura gives Kuon a thumbs up. Do your best, Kuon!! Last scene is both Kyouko and Ren heading out.

It is really nice to see that Kyouko’s future ‘in-laws’ are openly accepting her as she is that Kura even welcomes her to his house. Compared with Shou’s parents if Kyouko did end up with him, I don’t think Kyouko is at ease with them for she feels as if she needs to prove herself to be accepted hence the training in the inn. Her fairy prince is giving her the parents that she deserves. =P Their talk about waiting and eagerly anticipating makes me to also can’t wait for Kyouko to see Ren’s mother and go to his house. Will she go there with Ren? Hoho, I can’t wait to see her reaction when she learns that Ren is Kuon and Corn but I think it will be a long wait. Somehow I’m thinking that after Ren finishes this new role, he might be able to get over his problem and he will be heading back to the US. It is really amusing how Kyouko and Ren’s statements are the same. Kura gives both a thumbs up and it’s nice that Ren gets to see it for I think it has greatly encouraged him...even though Kura learns of it, belatedly. I think the author is planning these future roles they are going to tackle as the ones who will really make them famous as much as Shou have, thanks to his latest album.

Next chapter preview from raws: Kyouko is reading the script but is quite unhappy about it. She perks up as she remembers Kura’s thumbs up. She sees Maria who is grumpy about something. Kyouko seems to cheer her up by playing puppet using her chibi doll Ren. Kanae sees them and reprimands them. It seems that Kyouko has made a mask for doll Ren..sparkling outside but pouting inside. Later on, more talk with Maria. When Maria was gloomy, Kyouko suggests something. Maria is happy about it and got Kanae into it even as Kanae protests. In Ren’s dressing room, Ren is reading something in a magazine. The last part is of Yashiro asking what it is about. Ren saying something about lucky information.

Papillon -Hana to Chou- [Chapter 16]

Title: Resurgence. Ryuusei blushes over ‘Chou’s kiss. Blushing, ‘Chou’ says it seems that she likes him. Ryuusei starts to freak out and wonders if what Kana told him about Chou stealing her boyfriend [him] is true. He wonders if Chou can actually do this kind of thing. ‘Chou’ calls out to him as he quickly backs away to the sofa and tells her to wait a minute. Ryuusei screams doesn’t Chou have a boyfriend already, how could she treat him [Chou’s boyfriend] like that, she should think what she is doing clearly. Ryuusei shouts that he also have Kana. ‘Chou’ doesn’t say anything and then says, that’s right. She sits down beside him and holds his hand. ‘Chou’ smiles and says holding hands, should be okay, right? ‘Chou’ bends her head to him as Ryuusei is freaking out over all of this and wonders what this is all about. ‘Chou’ asks how are things doing with Kana. Ryuusei looks a bit sad and tells her what happened. Flashback: While on the bed, Ryuusei tries to kiss Kana as Kana pushes his face away. She shouts for him to stop it and not to touch her. Ryuusei kisses her behind her neck and touches her chest. Kana shouts that it is enough, stop it, I’m not into that mood right now. Ryuusei is disappointed and asks when will she be in the mood. Kana is already standing up and fixing her hair. She says, heaven knows. Ryuusei whines that currently, he is in that mood. Taking her bag and gets ready to leave, Kana says it isn’t her problem and she is leaving. Ryuusei shouts, yes, that’s right, I understand, as long as you are happy it is okay, my feelings don’t matter at all. Kana looks at him and says, men are animals whose brains only think of going to bed. Ryuusei hits the wall with his fist and shouts what’s wrong with wanting to hug his own girlfriend. Kana looks at him and just left. End flashback.

Ryuusei sighs and tells ‘Chou’ that it seems that Kana doesn’t like him even one bit. ‘Chou’ asks how could he say that. Ryuusei says didn’t he tell her before, she treats him like a beck-and-call slave. Even slaves have feelings. ‘Chou’ says nevertheless Ryuusei chose Kana over her, doesn’t that mean that Kana has some strong merit compared to her. Ryuusei admits that’s true for Kana is a headstrong girl who has her own way of thinking and it is because of this that he is attracted to Kana. Ryuusei laughs and says it is because that he never have a girlfriend before and so when Kana confessed to him, he thought that it isn’t bad to go steady with her. If Chou has confessed to him earlier, then he would definitely have gone steady with her instead. ‘Chou’ blushes and asks is this true. Ryuusei is surprised and admits that Chou is his first love. The two blushes over this. Ryuusei bends over her and kisses ‘Chou’. As he continues to kiss her and he is on top of her, ‘Chou’ asks what does Ryuusei plan to do with Kana. Ryuusei says that he doesn’t want to continue it anymore, he is going to break up with Kana. He kisses her again and starts touching her chest. Ryuusei is shock when ‘Chou’ says men are animals whose brains only think of going to bed. Just letting a little loose, this will happen. [The scans are blurred here, I’m making that sentence up ^^] You are the same as that disappointing guy before. Ryuusei is confused and calls out Chou’s name. ‘Chou’ says she isn’t Chou. She removes her glasses and ponytail. Kana says does he realize what the current situation is? Ryuusei is shock as he can’t barely say Kana’s name. Kana angrily looks at him and shouts, two-timer! She leaves and slams the door on shock Ryuusei.

In school, Chou is gloomily looking at Kyuu who is playing around with the three girls. [Playing as in the girls try to hit him and they were all laughing] Chou thought that Kyuu really won’t change even if he died and it seems that he doesn’t want to change his perverted ways. Kyuu is surprised to see her and he quickly greets her. Chou quickly walks away. Kyuu goes after her and asks if she is still angry. Kyuu says that he has really reflected on what had happened and he will not let such a thing happen again. Kyuu suggests that he wears a surgical mask as if it is a chastity belt while he is counseling. Chou doesn’t reply that Kyuu touches her shoulder and calls out to her. Chou turns around and slaps his hand away. Chou shouts that this isn’t what she wanted him to do. She runs off as Kyuu looks at his hand. Chou thought I’m not angry because of this, why doesn’t he understand? Sensei is really stupid! Everyone is surprised to see pale-looking Ryuusei walking in a daze around the hallway. Chou wonders what happened to him and calls out to him. Ryuusei looks at her and he sees Kana, coming out of the room behind Chou, looking at him. To the twins’ puzzlement, Ryuusei screams and runs away as if he has seen a ghost. Chou wonders what’s up with Ryuusei. Marui [Kyuu’s sensei] calls out to Chou and asks if she wants drink a cup of tea with him. In the room, Marui laugh his heart out after Chou tells him what had happened between her and Kyuu. Marui says things have become interesting. Chou says it isn’t, Kyuu doesn’t understand her feelings, he is still playing around with those girls. Marui says, but, wasn’t Chou the one who wanted to go steady with this kind of Kyuu. Marui comments that people’s wishes are quite endless and inexhaustible. Before she just wants him to look at her but now, she wants something else. Chou reflects on this.

Chou says that right, before she is already satisfied just to go steady with him, she has forgotten all about that feeling before. Holding a pill box behind, Marui says that he knows how to bring back that feeling to her. Interested, Chou asks how. Marui tells her to open her mouth. Chou did as told. Marui throws something in as Chou is surprised by this. Chou exclaims what is that thing. Marui giggles and says that it is a poison used by guidance counselors. Chou shouts that he is lying, it must be some sort of candy that he had hidden behind his back. Marui tells her that’s enough, and listen to what he is going to tell her. Marui gloomily says what if there is no antidote, and she will die within 24 hours, there is only one way for her to live and that is, before dying, she must do what she wanted to do the most. Marui asks her what is the thing she want to do the most? Chou thought, I will die within 24 hours. Chou shouts that she doesn’t that, she doesn’t want it to be like that with Kyuu..not knowing what will happen in the end. Marui says that’s right so what should she do. Chou thought what would she want to do the most. Chou says that she wants to be with Kyuu, she wants to be okay with Kyuu, she wants to hold his hands until the end. Marui smiles and says that’s right, this is what she really wanted. The thing that doesn’t make her satisfied is not being able to honestly tell Kyuu that she wants things to be okay with him. Chou-chan, think of this, someone wants to that thing before dying within 24 hours, why doesn’t he do it right now. Chou looks at smiling Marui in surprise. She quickly stands up and bows to him. She thanks him for waking her up. Marui happily smiles as Chou runs off. That’s right, the thing that I really wanted to do, my real wish is ---

Later on, Chou goes to Kyuu’s house. Kyuu opens the door and says, welcome, I knew you will come. He asks if she is still angry at him. He tells her to sit and they’ll talk. Kyuu walks ahead inside as Chou is blushing. She asks him to turn his head towards her. He did turn around and to his shock, Chou kisses him on the lips. Chou confesses that she really wants to kiss him but a stranger getting to do it to him ahead of her has made her depress. Chou hugs him and says that even she knew that his position [as a counselor] is hard, but she just wants him to treat only her as the special one. Chou is surprised to hear loud heartbeats. She wonders what it is. She looks up to Kyuu and is surprised to see Kyuu’s face red as a beet. Chou asks what is the matter. Kyuu covers his face with his hand and shouts is she stupid, kissing him like that. Chou asks why for didn’t that other girl also kissed him and he didn’t react at all. Kyuu shouts that it isn’t a kiss, it is just physical contact, physical contact! Chou is even more surprised and asks if Kyuu is being shy. Kyuu rumbles his own hair and denies it as he shouts for her to shut up. A small long piece of paper fell down. Chou picks it up and asks what is it. Kyuu exclaims, ah. Chou looks at it and sees that the paper is divided into different sections like a ticket. On it, there are three kisses ticket (no time limit, what place, what time), overnight ticket (what place), tantrum ticket (∞), H ticket (ask first), etc. Chou exclaims what’s with this kisses ticket. This even made Kyuu more redder. He tells her it is nothing, for he planned to give that to her but he didn’t expect that she will be one step ahead of him. Kyuu holds her head and says he was really surprised, no wonder she is the girl he chose. Chou is really happy about this. Chou hugs him as the two of them laugh. Marui’s words echoes about what makes her unsatisfied is because she cannot honestly say that she wants to be okay with Kyuu. With a determined heart, I took a step forward and the world has started to completely change. Taking the first courageous step is the most important compared to anything else. Blurb: Happy Chou and Unhappy Kana, next, Kana’s revenge?!

Everyone seems to get what they deserve in this chapter. Ryuusei was scolded by Kana for being a two-timer and he is. He kept on forcing Kana on bed and then hits on ‘Chou’. It seems to be a blessing in disguise for Chou that Kana stole him from her. In Chou’s state before, she would have agreed to do it with Ryuusei. I’m sure Ryuusei is pretty traumatized over what happened. As for Kana, it serves her right after all the things she did to Chou before. She got the wrong guy. ^-^ About Kana’s claim about Chou stealing her boyfriend last chapter, does she mean that she tend to dress up as Chou and try to entice her own boyfriend then blame Chou for it? If so, there must be something wrong with her. That is worse than accidental steal. Of course, it is nice that Chou and Kyuu mend things together with them. I find those tickets really cute. I’m actually surprised for I would think that Kyuu will be the type who would want Chou to go on bed since he is a bit of a ‘pervert’ but it turned out that he is a shy about these things. I guess what his sister-in-law said is true, he really never had a girlfriend before. Though, I really find that surprising, good looking as he is, maybe he is waiting for that right one. I’m sure he made those tickets to appease Chou. It is nice that he would let Chou do those ‘lover things’ when she is ready in contrast to Ryuusei who is forcing Kana. Is it because Kyuu is more mature in some ways? I wouldn’t have thought that Ryuusei is like that. I’m guessing that Kyuu is doing those things to get on the girls’ good side – those he is counseling. He obviously makes a distinction between Chou and those other girls. I guess he does have some feelings for Chou based on how he reacted. So, with that blurb, things might not be so okay again by next chapter. Credits: Pics are taken from Yukiru’s scans for BW.

Weekly Jump Update: Bleach, Naruto, One Piece, D. Grayman, Reborn and Gintama

Mayuri vomits blood and screams in pain as Aporro destroy each of his body parts since Aporro has made a chibi Mayuri doll in Bleach [c. 303]. It turned out that Mayuri is just faking it. Aporro couldn’t believe it that he destroyed the doll and yet, even as Mayuri spits blood, Mayuri still stands. Mayuri claims to be tired of observing Aporro and reveals that he knew of Aporro’s ability thanks to Ishida whom he had infected with surveillance bacteria before. [I think it is the same as what Aporro did to his own brother so he knew Renji’s power] Mayuri tells Aporro that before arriving there, he has already replaced all of his body parts. Aporro couldn’t believe such a thing is possible. Ishida interrupts them by protesting about what kind of bacteria did Mayuri put in him. Does it mean that Mayuri is able to observe his daily life. Ishida demands that Mayuri remove all of them from him. Mayuri just tells him to shut up. Ishida tries to answer back but ends up coughing. Renji has tell him to give it up as Ishida’s body can’t take it. Aporro tries to attack Nemu and he doesn’t believe when Nemu tells him that it is useless using her a hostage. Mayuri finds everyone of them noisy and quickly goes bankai. Mayuri’s ‘pet’ [bankai] breathes out something that made Aporro’s body infected with some disease. He plans to make medicine if he has time. He can only curse as Mayuri’s ‘pet’ crushes him..or I think it just ate him. Mm, I wonder if Aporro will survive that one. ^^; If Mayuri did infected Ishida with those surveillance bacteria, would he also know of Ryukuen, Ishida’s dad? It is amusing though how similar Mayuri and Aporro were, well, I guess they are mad scientists after all. Currently, it seems that espada are no match for captains or maybe that it only for the ones ranked 6 and below.

Jiraiya is stabbed with a pole by one of the Pain-s [long haired one] in Naruto [c. 381] as he dragged him into his world. Jiraiya says that the pole is affecting his body so Pain is really not an ordinary person for he uses a different kind of weapon. He remembers what the guy said before about not being able to see Pain before. He knows that one of them is Yahiko but why all of those people have the rinnegan. Jiraiya wonders if Pain is indeed Nagato for what Pain said before somewhat jives with what he told Nagato when he was a kid about growing up. The head plate of the Pain that Jiraiya caught has fallen. This reveals a scar on his forehead. Jiraiya remembers that person as someone he has fought before. Jiraiya realizes that this isn’t Nagato for it is the one whom he had fought after he was given the prophecy before. Jiraiya decides to go back to real world to confirm his suspicions. The frogs advises against it for Jiraiya will not make it alive since there are other Pain-s outside. Jiraiya insists that they won’t have another opportunity again to know of Pain’s real identity. The mother frog agrees to go ahead and tell Tsunade everything that they have learned so far. Father frog decides to stay. They went back and attacks one of the Pain-s who manages to evade. Seeing all of the Pain-s, Jiraiya recognizes everyone of them as the shinobi that he has met before. Reflecting on everything from the past when he met the three kids to the present wherein he meet them again, Jiraiya realizes who Pain is. Just then, all the other Pain-s attacked him. I highly doubt that Jiraiya survives that one. I wonder if the father frog realizes what Jiraiya had realized since I think he will tell the others what happened. Well, maybe Jiraiya will still be alive in the next chapter to tell us who/what Pain really is. They all seem to be really connected to Jiraiya since he met all of them before. So, it turned out that none of them is really Nagato, except for the eyes which is similar. If Nagato is really Pain, I wonder if he just manipulates all of those Pain-s from somewhere hence that guy said no one saw Pain before and as tribute to Jiraiya, uses everyone whom Jiraiya has met before. That pole that was struck into Jiraiya, I wonder if they would make use of him, too. I mean most of them has those things sticking in their bodies and they might make Jiraiya into one of them.

The zombies are shocked that Strawhats defeated Odz in One Piece [c. 481] while Lola and others were rejoicing. Odz is still conscious but can’t move. Brook is happy with this sensation that he is feeling. Usopp reminds everyone to get their shadows back for the sun is going to shine soon. They plan to wake up Moria but it turned out that Moria is already awake. They shout for him to return their shadows. Moria is angry that Thriller Bark is ruined and Lola’s group used shadows to power up Luffy. Luffy, who has turned chibi after using gear 3, angrily shouts because he got in their way, so give back their shadows. Moria tells him even if they didn’t hinder their voyage, it will be the same when they go to the ‘New World’, they will be defeated and everything will be lost. Moria tells Luffy that his crew were really famous but he still lost them all because they are alive so he decided to use dead people so that he won’t lose anything for dead people won’t die and can be easily replaced. He will become the Pirate king using a dead people army and they should have been satisfied that their shadows would be under his command. Moria uses his power to absorb all of the shadows from the zombies in Thriller Bark. He says that Luffy used 100 shadows but he has 1000 of them including Strawhats’ shadows. Moria morphs and become huge – like some insect creature or iguana. Lola’s group start to go back to the forest as they fear for their lives. The sun’s rays also has start to filter into the place. They were surprised that Lola isn’t moving. She tells them that Strawhats aren’t moving and since she has decided to put her hope on them, she isn’t moving. They can go for she will take the responsibility for them as their captain. A ray of sunlight struck her face. She still didn’t move and declares that she doesn’t care if she dies there for she has placed her hope on them. Luffy tells the others that there isn’t any time left so he is going wild. He will just depend on them regarding what happened next. Luffy tells Moria if he wants to see a nightmare, he is going to show him one for he really angry now. Well, I didn’t expect that Moria will still be up and fighting. It is good though for he is one of the seven seas after all so it should be a challenge to defeat him. I wonder how are they going to defeat Moria..will it be like how they defeated Odz? I’m actually amazed with Lola’s stance to just stand there and watch over Strawhats whom she has placed her hopes in. Guess the next chapter is time for the real ultimate last fight of the arc – Luffy vs Moria.

Rinali is in her room thinking about what Hevlaska said about synchronizing again could shorten her life span in D. Gray-man [c. 140]. A scene of Allen arriving inside with Bookman as all of the akumas surround them to attack. Rabi uses the golems to inform everyone of the attack and currently two exorcists are fighting them. Noise/Marie and Miranda are to go there at once. All the finders are to wait for orders. Chaoji wants to join them but his innocence isn’t finished yet. Realizing that Allen is one of those two exorcists, Rinali quickly rushing over, passing by everyone else who are rushing about. She notices that her feet seems so light. She bumps into Rabi. She asks if he knows how to get to Hevlaska. They were met by Komui who quickly locks them up in the medical ward with Crowley who is still unconscious. The head nurse said that they are to stay there for they don’t have any weapons = innocence, so they are just ordinary people who has to be protected. Currently, they are still looking for Kanda and Chaoji. Rinali insists that she wants to fight. Outside the door, Komui asks how is she going to do that. Rinali wanted to undergo that experiment that makes exorcists which she saw was done to Suman – an incompatible innocence placed on people. Rinali insists that she wants to protect everyone including her brother. This made Komui angry and asks if she is planning to do that with her life at stake. Was she thinking that she will do it for everyone and what happens to her doesn’t matter. Komui can’t believe what he is saying but he admits to himself that he just doesn’t want Rinali to die so soon. Komui then leaves to go where Noise and Miranda were. Malcolm contacts Link and asks if he was the one who let Allen use the ark. Link admits he did. Malcolm says it doesn’t matter for they planned to use it anyway and top priority now is to stop the enemy from stealing the egg. Inside the lab, Allen and Bookman are still fighting the akumas. Lulu tells the Skull to continue with his work until they can transfer the egg to their ark. She orders the akumas to keep the exorcists busy while they do that. Lulu prepares to transfer the egg. I kind of think that they way Rinali is acting is the same as when Allen was when they were under-attacked at Bak’s place. I’m thinking maybe the innocence powers up if the exorcists become self-less and don’t care if they die, just to protect others. I think Kanda and Chaoji will still fight even if they don’t their innocence ready - Chaoji to protect his friends and Kanda because, that will be like Kanda hehe I wonder if Allen will get to see Kanda revived with that tattoo of his. I wonder if they wouldn’t have this problem if they just destroyed the egg in the first place so there won’t be any new akumas created. They will just defeat the existing ones before a new egg is made.

Everyone is shock when Tsuna tells them that he has seen that circular thing from the blueprint before in Katekyo Hitman Reborn! [c. 173]. Lal doesn’t want to know more but Reborn is interested when Tsuna says there is something important in there and aside from Irie, there is someone else in there. Reborn says that they should think of it as a premonition just as when he got that pacifier and it could reveal the mystery about everything. This surprises Lal and Bianchi but puzzles Tsuna. Reborn quickly tells Takeshi that they should practice for he is the one who haven’t improved yet. After he left, Tsuna asks Lal what does Reborn meant. Lal tells him to ask Reborn about it himself. Reborn and Takeshi practice again but Takeshi’s little improvement isn’t that good enough. Takeshi comments that how come Reborn is so strong when he is so small. Reborn tells him that he has trained before he became a baby. Reborn quickly says they talk about it after the training. He says that it is time for Takeshi to go to the next stage. He shows him a box which has a title making of Sword Emperor. Reborn says it is from Squalo who recognizes Takeshi’s talent. Even though it is just to boast off his talent as the videos are most of Squalo’s fights with different sword masters, Squalo wants Takeshi to learn from it. While watching the video, Reborn notices how Takeshi is engrossed with it. Reborn says he will back within three days and they will have a final showdown. If Takeshi manages to hit him even once, he will tell Takeshi his secret. Within that three days, Tsuna, Hayato and Takeshi practice real hard. Three days after, Reborn opens the door with his gun pointed in. Water splashes outside. Takeshi is looking serious and attacks Reborn. Reborn’s hat is destroyed. Reborn says he is qualified. I guess that is qualified to know his secret. Everyone’s training is finished and probably, we’ll get to know about the pacifiers. It is interesting that the three comes out with their new techniques on their own intuition.

Katsura just got in a jail island kind of like Alcatraz in Gintama [c. 193]. A prisoner opposite his jail room plans to escape by digging out. This plans got thwart because of Katsura’s weird sleeping habits that looks like Katsura was observing him. He decided to try to make Katsura sleep by counting sheep. Katsura did just that and dreamt of being a teacher to high schoolers. The prisoner plans to start digging again when Katsura reaches 20. The dream is about two girl’s friendship wherein one wanted the other to win so she quits but in the end, substitutes the other in the high jump. That was sheep number 13. The prisoner cries for it is already morning and he didn’t get to dig the whole night. Gintama is really boring lately. ^^;; I feel sorry that guy and with Katsura around, I don’t think he will ever get to escape from that prison through digging.

After Yukari called Mitsuya telling him that something happened to his father, Mitsuya hurriedly runs to VBR as he wonders what happened. Mitsuya then exclaims, you fell down the stairs and broke your right arm! Aoi’s right arm is in a cast and his face has a bit of bandages. Aoi just smiles and says it is quite embarrassing. He was carrying too many packages of the merchandise from upstairs to downstairs that he didn’t see where he is walking. Flashback: A scene of Aoi and Yukari carrying packages and were walking downstairs. Yukari told him to be careful. Before he knew it, Aoi has already fallen down. End flashback. Yukari, Mitsuya and Ririko look at Aoi stunned. Aoi gives them a v-sign and says but he did protect the merchandise. Yukari and Ririko scream at him that he should be protecting himself. After more screaming and reprimands from Yukari and Ririko, Aoi assures them that it is nothing, he can still work. Yukari gives him a glare that Aoi whimpers like a cat and apologizes. Ririko agrees with Yukari that Aoi is in no condition to work. Mitsuya asks what about the pending work. Yukari exclaims that Aoi can’t do it. Aoi cheerfully says that he is okay until Yukari hits his injured arm. Mitsuya is shock over what Yukari just did as Aoi is bracing himself from the pain. Yukari tells Mitsuya that this is the current situation and they have only three weeks left before finishing the gown. Aoi tries to tell him that he can still do it but Yukari isn’t convinced that in his condition, he can make the gown satisfactory. He shouts to Ririko to bring Aoi to her house and make him rest there. Ririko grabs Aoi and drags him away as Aoi is still protesting.

Yukari then calls out to Mitsuya to follow him to the work station upstairs. Yukari slams his hand on the table and tells Mitsuya that this is the unfinished pattern that Aoi is making. They are going to finish the gown. After a pause, Mitsuya screams in shock. Shaking his hand left to right, Mitsuya that they can’t, what is he saying. Yukari says he is talking in Japanese. Mitsuya says he didn’t mean that. Yukari admits that his current ability, he can’t do it but Mitsuya can for he is good in pattern-making. Yukari tells him that he wants to protect his father’s dream – Velvet Blue Rose – the ‘possibility’ of it existing, so that it can satisfy the clients’ wishes. Yukari asks, I beg of you. Upon noticing how serious Yukari is, Mitsuya agrees to help him. They work over the gown the whole night until in the morning, the basic form of the gown is finally finished. They praise each other for it. Yukari is about to thank him when Yukari suddenly falls down. Mitsuya asks what happened. Yukari apologizes and says that if he didn’t get enough sleep, he becomes anemic and because of that, he wasn’t able to go to school. Mitsuya is touched and thought that Aoi has such a good son.

Mitsuya is about to go to get some water for him when Yukari holds Mitsuya’s shirt. Yukari apologizes about what happened yesterday and as Mitsuya said, he didn’t know anything yet he said those things. Yukari says it is because he remembered his own problem that he cannot bear to let things be. Mitsuya is silent then remembers someone saying, you don’t have to be too angry. Mitsuya sits beside Yukari and says that he has liked a girl before and up to now, he still can’t forget her. He is also in pain that he has become insensitive to other’s pain so he can’t be nice to others. It is because I have used up all my niceness on that girl but being with you, even if it is good or bad, I manage to feel something again. He now has an reaction unlike before. Mitsuya happily tells Yukari that making patterns with him is really fun that his heart is beating fast. Mitsuya begins to fret that he just said some weird things. Yukari holds his chest and asks Mitsuya if he would want to work with him. Mitsuya is surprised and happy about that, so he agrees.

Back at the present, Mitsuya says that was quite nostalgic. He then senses some sparkling from behind him. He knows it is from Ageha who is really happy over this. She tells Mitsuya that it is like falling in love twice. Mitsuya tells her that he knew that she is going to say that. Mitsuya makes a face and says but he isn’t going to deny it. Ageha agrees as she squeals. They heard a loud dropping of things and realize that Yukari is standing there. Yukari angrily shouts, you said it, you said it, didn’t you. Mitsuya makes a face again and apologizes to Yukari. Yukari says about he is bad in his studies and being very afraid of dogs. Yukari freezes when Mitsuya says he doesn’t say anything about that. Ageha asks if Yukari is also afraid of Tsuyako. Mitsuya says of course because Tsuyako is big already. Yukari falls down on the floor and gloomily thought that he has dug his own grave. Ageha calls out to him and says that feelings are surging, as if it is spring. Yukari pokes her and twist his knuckle on Ageha’s head. He angrily tells her not to thing of such things. Yukari also tells Mitsuya to stop such things, too. Ageha happily looks at the two and thought that they are like that before when they were working. She smiles at them and the two asks what’s up. Ageha says it’s nothing. And these are the two’s important memories.

This ends this arc on how Yukari and Mitsuya met and became partners in this business. Hehe, Yukari dislikes how the two are making it as if they were ‘lovers’ It was really funny that Yukari actually said to Ageha about his two embarrassing secrets. It is interesting that Yukari has really taken a lot of Ririko’s character – being bossy and such. Well, Yukari is like a ‘cat’ and I’m amused that his own father can’t go against him when Yukari has already decided on it. I kind of thing Yukari is more mature than his own father. It does seems that most of the cast here except for Ageha has some painful past. Pain and hurt is what is binding Yukari and others but when Ageha enters their group, things finally changes and they are all starting to be ‘healed’. Nice. Well, obviously, I'm not waiting for BW's scans anymore and will just have to make do with the scans that I have.

Penguin Revolution [Chapter 33]

It turned out that the cave that they found is just separated by the waterfall from where Yukari fell. Yukari looks at the stairway and says that the whole place is very spacious. Ryou agrees and that it is like a stage. While Ryou is drying her hair with a towel, Yukari asks if this is the place. Ryou says it could be for the president likes this—They then see a script on the steps of the staircase. Since it is there, they think that there is a way out of that place [other than the one they came through]. Ryou says that if it is that place, it would be hard for the audience to go there because of the waterfall. They were interrupted by the president who says they are too naïve for the waterfall is nothing since it can be parted into two. They notice that the president is on a spotlight. The president says that they did well for there are only the two of them who arrived there. They were interrupted when Ayaori comes above the water. Yukari goes to help Ayaori dry up as the president says it is now the three of them. He tells them that this is indeed the stage and they can do some research while reading the script. The president then left. Ayaori is already reading the script. Yukari looks up and realizes that the president uses the light coming into the cave as a spotlight. Yukari muses that making the cave like that isn’t an ordinary matter and this is the president’s dream.

The story is about an unsmiling tyrant that people are made to try and make him laugh but if they couldn’t, they will be killed. Soon, the tyrant prohibits anyone to laugh. Their world is then covered in darkness and everyone is in despair. One day, a beautiful dancing lady captivated the king’s heart with her dancing and because of love, the king starts to laugh. While still walking, Ryou says the story is somewhat like of ‘Amano-Iawto’ story. Yukari asks if it is about Amaterasu, the sun god who is hiding in the cave. Ryou says that’s right. Because Amaterasu has hid in a cave, it caused problems to people since the world is plunged into darkness. A certain goddess dances near the entrance of the cave and made many people laugh. Because of the commotion, it made Amaterasu curious that she was entice to go out of the cave. That goddess is quite artistic. Even if the story isn’t exactly the same, the roles are the same in essence. Ryou says the one playing the king will be Ayaori. They are surprised as they had reached their destination – a building. Yukari puts on her wig and asks out loud if everyone else is back. Ayaori gives Ryou the script. Ryou asks if is okay for him to be holding the script. Ayaori says it is because he has already memorized the script. Ryou is surprised and just nervously smile as Ayaori walks ahead.

In the indoor hot spring, Yukari is enjoying herself. She would have wanted to join Ryou and Ayaori in the outdoor hot spring but since she is a girl, she didn’t and she is satisfied there. She wonders how are the others for many of them haven’t reach that place. Some of them are grouped together as they stopped walking when it got dark. I think that is Kaname who is whining at Kaneda, his manager. Fukadu can’t do anything as the person he is with is too tired to walk. Everyone is having a hard time except for Narazaki who is happily cooking a boar which he had killed. Yukari remembers the time when she is like ‘playing a game’ before – when she and father suddenly pack their things to escape – so she is relax about all of this and it is good thing that they have found the stage. She thought that when she saw Youko before on stage, she doesn’t remember the plot of the play but when she saw Youko’s wings but she felt that her world has changed since then. She wonders if Ryou is pressured by all of this.

In the outdoor hot spring, Ryou is reading the script and thinks outloud that from the whole play, it seems that the ‘king’ is the one who is the focus all throughout the play. Ayaori stands up and says that is true though the female lead role can also swallow/eat up that role but I don’t plan to let myself be eaten. Ayaori smiles and asks Ryou, what do you think? Ryou exclaims he will also not let himself by eaten by Ayaori. Ayaori says that’s good, I’ll be waiting. [I think the ‘eat’ here is being out staged/outshined so basically, Ayaori is challenging Ryou. ] As the two are about to go out of the hot spring, they meet with two other guys who mentioned that their companions went to the indoor hot spring. The two boys were worried about Yukari that they quickly ran to the place. Ryou, together with Ayaori, opens the door and shouts for Yukari. They were surprised to see that Yukari is just about to open the door. Yukari beats them up – three lumps on the head for Yukari and one lump on the head for Ayaori. Yukari shouts what the hell were they doing rushing in when she is about to open the door. It turned out that Yukari has already come out of the bath when the other two guys came in. Yukari then apologizes for hitting Ayaori [She still doesn’t know that he knows she is a girl] but reprimands him for not knocking first before entering. Ryou realizes that Ayaori already knew that Yukari is a girl that is why he also ran very quickly along with him and does Ayaori like her? Ryou remembers earlier when Ayaori asks, what do you think? Ryou wonders if Ayaori have to say that. Blushing all over, he thought of Yukari smiling and realizes that he also likes Yukari.

An alarm clock is ringing. Yukari wakes up and closes it. She thought that even if it should be training but being able to sleep in a bedroom, it felt as if she is in a hotel. Smiling, Yukari encourages herself to do her best for the day. At the first dining hall, the president asks everyone how was the first day of training. Everyone else is gloomy and tired for they got lost but everyone has safely arrived at the place. The president says that there are many more games later on and compared to what they experienced yesterday, that was just an appetizer. Everyone becomes gloomier for they don’t feel happy at all. He then tells everyone that he is now going to talk about the play. The play will be done in three places. They will just prepare the one in the waterfall so that they audience can get in. The play will also have three parts and there are two people in the female leading role. The two will switch each day. The first to perform will be Ryou. The second to perform will be Youko. On the third day, the audience will decide who will perform based on their previous performances. Yukari is surprised by this arrangement but seeing that Ryou is blushing and happy, she also blushes. She thought that Ryou’s reaction is he is very anxious to try it and this way, his talent can be-- Yukari is then surprised when Ayaori stands up from the table and says that he is finished eating. Yukari and Ryou were surprised. Yukari tries to tell him to finish his food. Ayaori just keeps on walking that Yukari chases after him. She asks what is the matter, he haven’t finished eating, does his stomach hurt. Ayaori is already at the door when he turns around to Yukari. Ayaori darkly tells Yukari, for the meantime, please do not talk to me. Yukari is surprised as Ayaori closes the door on her.

I finally got what the president is trying to do. I mean, why is with this survival training. He is making everyone tired and depressed with all the trials since in the play, they are just that with a tyrant who doesn’t laugh – tired and depressed. I really feel sorry for Ryou because acting-wise, even if he shows himself better than his mother, he is still stuck with women roles. ^^;; No wonder his own father made him cross dress as a girl. His father is preparing him for women roles. Lol I’m guessing he is somewhat already in Ayaori’s level already since he gets to share the same role with Youko. Ayaori’s ability to memorize the script in just one reading is the same as Kanae’s of Skip Beat!. From that last scene, he is like Kyouko of Skip Beat! as he is already in character. Hehe I thought before it is jealousy over Ryou. ^^;; Now, the two boys know they both like Yukari but I don’t think Ayaori has a chance since the other two have become quite close already. Yukari also seems to treat Ayaori like a ‘younger brother’. The most amusing scene here is Narazaki being able to easily adapt to camping outside. ^-^

Hana to Akuma [Chapter 1]

In a huge castle, in a room, a little girl wakes up and looks to her side. It is empty and she looks sad. That was ten years ago, when I was just killing time, going from the demon world to the human world, I have picked up a troublesome thing. What I picked up is a human baby. Flashback: Snowy night, a man sees a basket with a crying baby inside. He thought, what is this thing? It is just on a whim that I live together with this little thing in the human world. While he was holding the baby up, his servant said that her smile is like a flower. The man said, so let’s name her Hana [It means flower. I thought it was small flower as in Koibana before. It turned out she is just fondly called Hana-chan]. End flashback. In the present, his servant is with a long black haired lady in a kimono. His servants tells him, Vivi-sama, Nijou has arrived. [Vivi’s name is actually Bibi in Japanese. I decided to use Vivi as what is used in FF9 =P Another alternate is BB.] Nijou smiles and says, calling me tonight, I’m very honored. Vivi says that’s good that you have come, I’m already very thirsty. As Vivi is about to bite Nijou’s neck, his servant exclaims for him to wait and do it inside a room, else that’s quite reckless. The little girl comes running and clings on to Vivi. Vivi angrily says, Hana, it is already late, what are you doing. Hana says that she just woke up, will he sleep with her? Vivi says, no, I’m busy. Vivi is an akuma/devil/demon around 200 years old. Hana is a 14 year old girl. [Haha, I typed the wrong age before ^^; It is because I thought she is 10 years old] Hana looks disappointed at Vivi as she still clings on his arm then looks at Nijou, a human woman who gives Vivi her blood.

Hana asks are you going to drink this person’s blood again. Vivi says, that’s right, akuma likes fresh human blood, I have told you this many times already. Hana shouts, I don’t want that, how annoying, then you drink Hana’s blood and it will be okay. Vivi angrily says, I don’t want to, go back to your room. Hana shouts no! Vivi’s servant, Tony who is also an akuma just sweatdrops over the two’s fight while Nijou is speechless as her mood becomes foul. She tells Vivi to let her go home first for tonight. Vivi is surprised. Nijou whispers to Vivi, and then, tomorrow night, just go to my room. Vivi asks if he is going alone. Nijou smiles and says if he didn’t come, she won’t give him her blood anymore and that’s that. Nijou leaves and says, hope you have a pleasant day. Vivi could only curse as Hana is puzzled over what happened. Tony whispers to Vivi that this will be quite troublesome for Nijou is the only one there who knows that Vivi needs a supply of human blood and if Vivi makes her unhappy, he might not get to drink blood anymore. He tells Vivi to just endure not being able to drink blood. In any case, we won’t die even if we didn’t drink, for right now, I haven’t drink either. Tony realizes that Vivi isn’t listening anymore. Vivi laments that it is troublesome, forget it, just to have peaceful days, I’ll just go. Hana glumly complains why everyone is whispering. Vivi angrily pinches Hana’s cheek and says, too noisy, speaking of things, it is all your fault that you came and things become quite troublesome. Hana is puzzled then starts to smile. This freaks out Vivi that he quickly let go of her cheek. Vivi asks, what’s so strange? Hana happily says Vivi touched me. Vivi is surprised and smiles. He says, you are a really strange being. Hana just smiles at him. Vivi shooing her away says, okay, go back to your room. Hana whines, hey.

Flashback: When she is younger, with a smile on her face, she always follow me from behind. Later on, she will give me a picked flower. While holding a rose, Vivi says, what? The rose withers. Deteriorate. An akuma touching a flower. The flower withers away. Even so, Hana will still keep on giving me a flower. Vivi is surprised that smiling Hana is holding a daisy to him. Smiling, ‘like a flower’ child, if I touched her, would she be like a flower that fades away? I’m afraid of losing Hana so I never touch her but.. One day, Hana is sick and Hana asks, Vivi, can we hold hands, even if Vivi is an akuma, Hana still really likes Vivi, I want for us to be together always. Vivi holds her hand. Gentle and knowing that I’m uneasy, she smiles at me. A really troublesome girl. End flashback. Vivi wakes up when the door opens and Hana enters the room. Hana says, Good morning, Vivi, look. Vivi opens his eyes a bit to see Hana carrying some flowers and a book. Hana happily says that it is reading a book time. She sits on Vivi’s back. She puts a flower on his hair while holding an opened book. She says, this is Full Moon’s Spell/Incantation. Vivi tries to go back to sleep and grumbles, don’t sit on me, don’t put that flower on my head. Hana happily says I have heard that tonight is the day when the once every 150 years special full moon will appear. If you watch the full moon with the person you like, the two of you will be together forever. Vivi says, spell, huh? The flower on his head starts to wither. Vivi sits up and throws the book away. Vivi thought, what forever together, it’s nonsense. Holding some flowers, Hana happily says, so, Vivi, let’s watch the moon together. Vivi remembers his date with Nijou so he tells Hana that he can’t, for he is going out that night. Hana is shock.

In a living room, Felton, an akuma who is Vivi’s friend, is reading the book. Felton says, that spell, it will be cute if he is with a girl. Felton tries to tell Vivi to accompany Hana else he isn’t nice. Hana has fallen asleep while Vivi is just drinking his tea. Felton says unlike Vivi, he is very nice with women. Felton is wooing Vivi’s maid servant. Vivi angrily asks, is it okay, it looks heavy to me. [?] Vivi tells Tony to throw that fool outside. Tony starts to drag Felton away. Felton asks Tony what is he doing. Tony apologizes and says if he doesn’t obey the order, he will be punished. Felton angrily shouts, talking about that, Vivi, where are you going to night. Pointing at Vivi, Felton shouts if you are going to some fun place, bring me along. Hana also points to Vivi and shouts, Hana also wants to go. Felton shouts want to go, want to go. Hana tells Felton that she wants to see the moon. Felton says is that so. Vivi is in a dark mood as he thought, too noisy. The two stops their shouting when Vivi says, I know already, I’ll just use a substitute. To the two’s surprise, Vivi makes his shadow in a bird. Hana asks why he did that. Vivi says he gives it to her. Hana is puzzled and freaks out when the bird screams at her. Vivi tells Hana to think of it as him and play with it. The bird starts to peck Hana’s head as she shouts that this isn’t Vivi. Vivi happily leaves and thought that he can now peacefully drink blood that night. Hana can only say his name as the bird is still pecking her head. Felton happily says, it’s alright, it’s alright, it will be okay if I watch the moon with you. Hana gloomily just looks at Felton. Felton says, it seems that I won’t be enough to please you.

Felton continues to read the book as Hana is looking at the bird which is now in a cage. Felton says that in this country, the full moon is a symbol of love. Hana gloomily says it is, it’s called Tsukimi. [It is a moon-viewing event held in mid-autumn in Japan usually around September or October. The moon is said to be the brightest and most beautiful around that time of the year. Since the past until now, usually, people celebrate it by set up small tables by the window to look at the moon while eating tsukimi dango (rice and sweet been dumplings made specially for the occasion), and satoimo (taro, a tropical root).] Felton then points the book to Hana and says that it seems during Tsukimi, one would also eat tsukimi dango. He suggests to Hana that they made some so that they will eat them during Tsukimi. Hana likes the idea that they went to the kitchen to make some. Hana happily rolls the rice balls while Felton is also flirting with the maids by saying that once every 150 years Tsukimi is really romantic, isn’t it. The maids agree. Felton asks if she wants to put some soy sauce on the dango she made. Hana says there is no need for Vivi doesn’t like sweet stuff. Felton asks if the ones she is making is for Vivi. Hana says she would give them to Vivi to eat tomorrow. Felton is touched by this and suggests that Hana put salt on her dango. Hana thinks it is a nice idea.

When it is almost twilight, Feltona tells everyone that everything [food] is finished and all they have to do is wait for the moon to come out. Hana is very happy as the maids cheer. Hana walks in the hallway as the bird follows her. She happily says that she is still happy even if Vivi isn’t there because the bird and Felton are there. She overhears Vivi saying, so I’m going. Tony says yes, have a nice trip. She sees Vivi all dressed up and goes into a carriage. Hana looks sad and goes to bed trying to convince herself that she is okay even if Vivi isn’t there. She notices the bird looking at her. She smiles and pats the bird. She asks if it wants to be with her. She falls asleep with it by her side as she thinks that it is like Vivi is beside her. The moon has already up. Hana wakes up when maid calls out that the moon has already come out. She realizes that the bird is gone. She goes out and finds Felton who asks her if she would want to watch the moon together. Hana tells Felton that the bird is missing, the bird that Vivi gave her. She starts to cry that she can’t find Vivi’s. Felton tries to cheer her up by saying that it’s okay, they will help her find it.

In a Japanese-style house, sitting near the window, Vivi is holding a glass of wine while looking out to the moon. Nijou comes in with a tray of snacks and coffee/tea. She asks him why is he looking out to the sky, that is quite peculiar of him. Vivi says Hana said that she wants to watch the moon with him. Is there some auspicious symbol to it? I don’t understand it. Nijou explains that for other foreign countries, full moon is something that can disturb a person’s heart. [It is more like people go crazy or do crazy things on full moon or become a werewolf? =P ] But, in this country, since ancient times, it is a rare sight. On a beautiful full moon night, it is like waiting for some miraculous thing, will it be a lucky/unlucky thing that will happen? According to the spell book, tonight is a really special full moon. Vivi asks, is that so. He remembers Hana happily saying that it is the full moon which happens once every 150 years. Vivi puts on his hat and takes his cane. He tells Nijou he is going home. Nijou is surprised and asks didn’t he came there for dinner, aren’t you going to drink blood? Vivi says that isn’t the time for that, if I made a mistake about tonight, next time will be 150 years after. Nijou is confused. Vivi hears footsteps. Nijou wonders what’s outside the window for they are on the second floor. Vivi looks out in surprise.

Tony welcomes Vivi back as he takes Vivi’s hat, cane and coat. Felton tells Vivi that they can’t find his bird. Vivi just walks pass by him and says, hum. Felton asks what’s with that. He sighs and tells Vivi that Hana is really tired from looking for the bird that she has fallen asleep so Vivi should go see her. Felton happily exclaims to the maids, everyone is tired from looking for the bird so now we can leisurely watch the moon so that we will all be together forever. The maids happily exclaims. Vivi walks on and thought, together forever. He remembers Hana saying if you watch it with someone you like, the two of you will be together forever. What nonsense. I’m an akuma and you’re human. Even after many hundred years, many thousand years, I will still be like this but Hana... He finds Hana sleeping on a sofa which is placed outside where they will sit to watch the moon. He tells Hana to wake up else she’ll get a cold. After many more years, [Hana] definitely, will not already be in this world anymore. We won’t be able to watch the once every 150 years full moon again. We cannot be together forever. Hana wakes up and is surprised to see Vivi and the bird on his shoulder. Hana asks why are they there. Vivi tells her that it wants to go back that it returned to fetch him when he told it to be at her side, what a useless thing. Vivi is about to make it disappear or become a shadow again when Hana exclaims for him not to do so for when she was lonely, it stayed beside her and it definitely also called to get Vivi [for her].

Vivi is surprised and says forget it. He sits beside her. He asks her, what is it? You were lonely? Why didn’t you tell me? He head bumps her. Hana says she already said it last night but he got angry. Vivi remembers and says, that’s right, today when you were sleeping, I’ll stay by your side. Vivi is surprised when Hana hugs her. She says, always, always be together. Felton sees them and shouts, ah, why are you two so intimate, don’t do that Hana, quickly go away from him. Hana shouts, no! Felton then gives Vivi some dango to eat. Vivi asks what is it. Felton says that Hana made it. Much to Hana’s dismay, Vivi pukes it out because it is too salty. Felton smiles and says now watch the once every 150 year full moon, it’s quite extraordinary. Vivi looks up the moon. Together forever? Really, what kind of spell. To his surprise, Hana holds his hand and smiles at him. She tells him like this, they can be together forever. Forget it, but that’s right, tonight is a once every 150 year full moon. Vivi smiles back at Hana and says that’s right. Waiting for something miraculous to happen is not bad at all.

So, this story partly reminds me of Kaname-Yuuki when Yuuki is still young in Vampire Knight. Vivi is the usual stern-type of guy but has a soft spot for Hana who is cute and endearing. I think Hana is making him more ‘human’. Now, I’m not sure if this is a love story for it does seem that Vivi is just babysitting Hana. I don’t even know if the story will tackle on when Hana grows up. Haha, would it be like ‘father of the bride’ when Hana falls in love or outgrows Vivi? It kind of gives me a ‘short series’ feel but it can still be made longer if the author wants. In Chinese scans, it is said to have ended in chapter 3. There is a extra chapter 4 though which has some scenes from chapter 1. As of now, I’m not sure if series is going to be continued. Too bad, it has potential though. Well, I’ll just have to wait and see. =P

Weekly Jump Update: Bleach, Naruto, One Piece, D. Grayman, Reborn and Gintama

After that attack, Byakuya goes into the barrier where Rukia and Hanatarou were inside to protect them in Bleach [c. 302]. Byakuya notices the mark is still on his hand and realizes that Zommari is still alive. It turned out that Zommari manages to live thanks to hiding in his pumpkin-skirt. Zommari tries to use a mark on Byakuya but Byakuya just blocks it with a barrier. Zommari can only curse as he tries to break into the barrier but to his surprise, Byakuya is already pointing his zanpaku at his neck. Zommari quickly moves away and starts a long speech about what right does shinigami have in killing them hollows and protecting people from them. Byakuya passes by him and says that he never said he was there to kill him as shinigami. He is there because he raised his hand against his pride – hurting Rukia. Realizing that Byakuya has cut him, Zommari starts to praise Aizen until he vanishes. Byakuya then tells someone to come out for it is finished. It is Isane who was ordered by Unohana who has sensed that Hanatarou is injured. Isane proceeds to help them. The scene changes to Mayuri on his knees while he is breathing hard. Aporro just laughs while standing in front of Mayuri. I guess that finally finishes Zommari so that’s two dead espada. Hanatarou is indeed useless. ^^;; Next up is the scientists’ fight and Mayuri seems to be losing. Sure enough, Kenpachi vs Nnoitra will be the last one.

When Jiraiya sees shorthaired Pain/Pein, he realizes that appearance is Yahiko in Naruto [c. 380]. Pain says that the Yahiko he knew is already dead and only Pain remains. This confuses Jiraiya for Yahiko wasn’t the one who has the rinnegan, it was Nagato. It was useless to ask the Pain-s for they are already going to attack him. In Konoha village, Tsunade tells Shizune that she doesn’t think that Jiraiya is coming back. Then, Sasuke and others reaches the place where he is going to meet Itachi. Kisame tells them that Sasuke is the only one who could go ahead. Sasuke agrees and goes ahead. While waiting, Suigetsu wants to fight with Kisame to pass the time. Change scene again to Naruto and others facing Tobi. Naruto and Sakura are disappointed that Tobi is going to hinder them. Naruto tries to attack Tobi but to Naruto’s shock he just passes through Tobi. In the Uchiha hideout, Itachi is sitting on a throne-like chair and asks how far can Sasuke see with his sharingan. Sasuke says he can see up to when Itachi dies. This chapters jumps from one scene to another. I guess the author is not going to let us know what will happen to Jiraiya yet. Also, who Pain really is. Maybe Madara/Tobi did something to Nagato/Yahiko. I wonder if it is really just a coincidence that Tobi is there. Did Pain inform him that he is busy with Jiraiya so Tobi can get Naruto in the meantime? I’m amused at how relax Itachi seems when he met with Sasuke. Could it be a trap?

The Lola’s pirates are already talking about how to get their shadows back and that is by making Moria order it in One Piece [c. 480]. Unfortunately, Moria has passed out cold. To their surprise, Odz is still okay as he stands up. Everyone start to give up and want to go back to the forest. They were shock to see that the Strawhats are already up and about, ready to fight again. Luffy has already wake up and asked Robin to help him go up. Brook is also up and Luffy asks him to come with him. Sanji and Chopper are going somewhere while Usopp and Franky are building something. Zoro shouts to the other pirates that they are an obstacle, they should move back. They follow his orders. Robin creates steps on the tower as Brook climbs up it while carrying Luffy since Luffy is so tired, he can’t move. Odz tries to stop them but Nami creates rain to wet Odz. Usopp and Franky has used the freezer’s coldness from the storage to freeze Odz’s feet so that he cannot move. Sanji and Chopper uses the chain from the ship to pull Odz backwards. Above, Luffy tells Brook to throw him down. Brook did. Luffy goes into third gear and made his hands big. Chopper shouts to Zoro to hit Odz stomach so that his spine would be straight. Zoro did. Chopper explains that if the spine is straight, the damage would be greater compared when one is in the normal S position. Odz tries to attack Luffy but realizes that his right arm is already severely injured that it can’t move. Robin says it is the weakness of a zombie for he can’t feel pain. Everyone is cheering for Luffy as hits Odz in the face. Odz’s spine breaks as he falls down. Everyone shouts that Luffy succeeded. What a great display of teamwork. ^-^ Their next problem is how to get Moria to order the shadows to come back to their original bodies when he is out cold. I’m sure it would be another quite unexpected way coming from the author. =P

Riding on the underground boat, some of Cross bodyguards just bought a bottle of wine to satisfy Cross in D. Gray-man [c. 139]. They then find a body beneath the water. It’s the one whom Lulu transformed into. Lulu introduces herself as Lulu Bell, Noah’s ‘lust’ who can transform as all of the akumas start their attacks. Allen quickly senses this as he rushes out of the mess hall and into the place where Revere and others were earlier. Rabi, Link and Bookman follow Allen. They were surprised to see a black thing on the entrance that prevents them from entering. They tried to destroy it but nothing works. Allen is getting worried as the akumas are after the egg and everyone else are inside. He is about to try to destroy it again when Link tells him to follow him elsewhere. Inside, Lulu touches the egg and is happy that it is okay. The akumas start to line up all of the injured scientists. Bak, together with his companion and Johnny, are safe. Johnny gives Bak his earphones and he gets to talk with Revere who is also safe together with five others. They then see some skull people in heavy coats[like how Cross disguised himself before] appearing. One of the skull people starts to sense each of the scientists’ head then if they are not satisfied with it, they draw an X on the face and steps on it to kill them. As they kill the scientists that they are not satisfied with, Revere wants to save them but Bak tells him to restrain himself for going there won’t change anything. Bak reminds him that even if they are locked inside, Allen’s left eye would have sensed the akuma.

Tapp, one of the scientists, asks what are they doing. The skull person said that they are making ‘skull’ who will be assigned to guard the egg because many of them were killed by exorcists. He then decided that Tapp’s brain suitable. To everyone’s shock, he turned Tapp into one of them. When the skull person is going to the next, he was shot in the head by Rever. Rever introduces himself and tells Skull if they want brains, then use his for he doesn’t want his men to be turned into that way. Rever then braces himself as the Skull person tries to make him the second one. To Rever’s shock, the Skull person was cut in half. It is Allen who came to save him via the ark. Allen says he won’t forgive them. It was a nice entrance..but I’m not going to rejoice yet for Allen is known to have great entrance but the follow up is weak. ^^;; I think he can fight with the akumas, it is Lulu that will be a problem since Allen has only barely managed to defeat Tiki before. I was wondering why Rabi is not using his hammer to destroy the barrier then I remembered that his innocence isn’t fixed yet. So, as I wrote before it is unlikely for Rabi, Kanda and Rinali to join the fight. Even if Komui would to fix their innocence, I’m sure the fight would be over by then especially since the generals are there. I’m pleasantly pleased that Link actually helped Allen. The guy has brains when he suggested using the ark rather for them to spend time breaking the barrier. Well, with this, Allen can prove that he isn’t working for the Earl.

Irie frantically calls up Byakuran who seems to be okay in Katekyo Hitman Reborn! [c. 172]. Irie asks what happened to Leo. Byakuran says that person might be in the news tomorrow but his name will be changed for it is Mukuro. Byakuran changed the topic and tells Irie that he can guess that there might be a large scale attack in their headquarters soon so they should be prepared. Mukuro has leaked information to the enemy. Byakuran suggests that they attack immediately while there are no reinforcements yet and get the Vongola rings. Irie becomes serious and starts his preparations by calling for a grand meeting of everyone as he will personally make sure they get the rings. Back to Tsuna, Hayato apologizes for destroying the place because of the cat. They discuss about putting it back to the box but it doesn’t want to. The girls like the cat. When Hayato sees Bianchi, he informs her that he understands Sistema Cai, does she want test it. They were then interrupted by Ryohei and tells them to go to the meeting room. In the room, Ryohei informs them that some files about the enemy’s headquarters were uploaded to Hibari’s computer though around 2 o’clock the transmission was cut off. Tsuna thinks it is Mukuro. There are some black areas in the blueprint then Tsuna sees a familiar object – it is the same as the one he saw in his dream. Back to Irie, he tells everyone that they are going to be attacked and he is given permission to put everyone of them under his command. Gamma is about to protest when a new guy appears and says he is ordered by Byakuran that if anyone objects to this, they will be killed. How nice of Byakuran to send that new guy to make sure no one objects. Well, I guess the attack won’t be one sided or rather there is no element of surprise and that will be quite disadvantageous for Tsuna and others. Maybe when Tsuna and others are losing, that is when the others from Italy will help them. Typical shounen plot. Hmm, I wonder if Irie has some kind of split-personality. Well, at least, Hayato has more or less learned a new skill. I’m now thinking if the animals in the boxes are like Pokemon ^^;;

Gin and others meet with Kondou and others in a barbecue restaurant in Gintama [c. 192] . They plan to discuss what to do next for they have been playing four weeks already and still don’t have any clue where the aliens are. After some quarrels between Gin and Hijitaka, Katsura comes in. He gets arrested and bullied but he tells them that he has information. It turned out to be a poster, looking for truck drivers. And since they are screw-‘drivers’, they can apply. After Katsura is being beaten up, he tells them that they have just to face reality that they can’t find the aliens and they will be like that forever. They then decided to work as truck ‘drivers’. One day, they get a hitchhiker, it was Sacchan. Sacchan tells him about fighting reality so Gin drives away and finds the aliens who are getting a new stash of games. The aliens try to escape but Katsura and Kondou tries to destroy their ship. Gin and others tell the aliens to return them to normal. The aliens say that they can’t stop unless a special screwdriver is used on the special contraption. Gin uses his screwdriver and the ship explodes. The three Shinsengumi wonder about their bodies. The chapter ends with Taizou still playing the game and got left behind. I got lost there at the end. ^^; As truck driver, Gin reminded me of GTO. Nothing much to say about this chapter..I wonder if this is the end of this arc.

Vampire Knight [ Chapter 34]

[No wonder BW’s scans came later, they translated the advertisement. Anyway, as you all know, there will be an anime for this series on 2008. The four parts which I thought would be arcs of the anime turn out to be just voting time. First, it is that time again to vote for your favorite character and favorite pair. They even include who you would want to be your lover, vampire and brother. ^^; Second, tell them what is their favorite line like Kaname teaching young Yuuki how to eat or Zero saying that Yuuki can use his life and he won’t object. Third, I think it is to write/draw a scenario for night class and the author will draw it..it might become a side story. Fourth, give names to the class president of Yuuki’s class and the glasses girl who likes Zero. Hmm, does it mean they will have roles later on? They will give out gifts for those who participated. A card of the cover of Lala for 100 points and merchandise like stationary, necklace, etc for 10 points. Would Japanese readers pick the same choices as yours? Will Kaname still be number 1? =P]

Rima is lying on the sofa as she complains why they are making her do that strange work. A maid happily welcomes her back and that there is a guest waiting for her. Rima groans yes, but I’m currently [tired].. She then looks surprised when someone called out her name. It is Senri who is looking at her from the staircase with Ichijou. Senri says, I’m back. Senri and Ichijou approach her. Rima asks what has he been doing. Senri says just some little thing but right now, I’m very hungry. Rima bluntly asks what has happened to his eyes. [Each eye has a different color.] Senri smiles and says a little situation has happened. This shocks Rima. [Using kanji-romanji translator, it now translates Rishi’s name as Rido. ^^; I’m going to use the name Rido while he is in Senri’s body] Smiling, Ichijou grabs Rido’s arm and tells him not to do that practical joke here but compared to this, there are other many things he can do. Rima just looks at them. Outside the dorm, Kain is with Aidou. Kain looks up to the sky and says from the looks of it, it is going to snow soon. Kain tells Aidou that honestly, he is quite surprised that Aidou would agree to play along with dorm master’s ‘lover game’. Kain sighs and says that it is because of this that Ruka is depressed at home.

Aidou says he doesn’t think that it is a ‘game’ and Kain should know, Kaname’s partly persistent. Kain apologizes and says if it isn’t a ‘game’. It feels like currently.. Kain looks up to one of the windows in the building [I presume where Kaname is]. Kain says it feels that is they are made to strictly look after something that is already broken that he would even decided to get them to come and strictly look after [her]. Aidou asks if he thinks that their job is to protect her from something, what could be that something that Kaname is waiting for. In Kaname’s room, he is looking out the window. Seiren is standing beside him. Rido and Ichijou has already entered the room. Seiren glances back at them but Kaname doesn’t move at all. Rido says, Calling you my nephew [his sister’s son] is absolutely nerve-wracking The last time I met you is around ten years ago, isn’t it. At that time, it was very painful, Kaname.

In Yuuki’s room, Yuuki sees blood in her hands. Blood is splattered all over the room. She huddles herself in one corner of her bed as she is breathing hard. She grips herself tighter when she hears someone opens the door. Zero is the one who opened the door and asks Yuuki if she is already awake, does her head still hurt. He has brought her some newly washed clothes for her to change in. Zero didn’t finish what he is saying because Yuuki has already jumped on him, causing the two of them to fall on the floor. Zero is a bit surprised as Yuuki who is breathing hard. She then tries to strangle him. Zero just lets her be and closes his eyes. After a while, Yuuki snaps out of it. She then asks Zero if he is okay. Yuuki asks why didn’t he resist. Zero says didn’t he told her before that she has the right to do whatever she wants with his life. Yuuki says, because I’m Zero’s casualty [because he has bitten her] no way, you’re such a good mister. Yuuki shouts at Zero, it is because of me that you were placed in a position wherein you cannot go back! Zero is just allowing himself to do her every whim. Since I became Zero’s companion/nakama [in terms of working as perfect], I always wanted to do something that I can do for you but that something always ends up to be for myself. I thought that if I do my best to become Zero’s indispensable person then I can, even without my past memories, I can say goodbye to that part of me. That’s right..it’s all for my sake.. those kind of words..[flashback on Yuuki telling Zero that becoming a vampire could make her heart become stronger]..shouldn’t be told to Zero, those forbidden words. Smiling at Zero, she says, I’m sorry.

Zero tells her that what she is saying is very strange. Sounds as if you’ll risk everything to say that you need me. Yuuki looks surprised as Zero sits up. You are mistaken...Yuuki..the truth is the one you really need is Kaname Kuran. Zero seems to look a bit sad and says, ever since from the very start, that is how it is..you are very strange.. After a pause, while looking away, Zero asks Yuuki, are you alright? Yuuki quickly stands up and says yes, sorry, I’m alright. Yuuki apologizes for doing such a thing to him [strangling him]. Yuuki laughs it off and says it is because she has seen such a scary nightmare so she has become a bit strange that she isn’t her normal self. Yuuki pushes him outside of the room and says that she is going to change clothes so he should go out. Zero asks if she is really alright. Yuuki brightly smiles at him and says Zero, I’m really sorry about that, I’m alright.. She closes the door and sits on the floor. She looks in her room and she still sees the blood stains splattered all over the room and on her hands. Yuuki is getting tense and nervous about this. Outside, Zero looks a bit worried.

Back to Kaname’s scene, Rido says, that day you have destroyed it into pieces, that it can’t be formed into a body...I took me ten years to slowly restore it. No..I should be thankful that even if it has become into that condition, the pureblood’s will to live that even after it was like that, I’m still alive. It seems that in these past ten years, many things have happened. Ah, speaking of which..my fiancé Shizuka has also disappeared, honestly, I’m relieved. Even if I had wanted her to become as obedient as this [pointing to himself; Senri] person’s mother, it seems that it won’t happen. Ichijou doesn’t react. Kaname says..that’s good..you still haven’t changed, I can feel at ease, uncle..this way, I will killed you like before, and there is no need to hesitate at all. Kaname turns around to face him and uses his power to create a serpent-like creature using the floor. It is about to attack Rido but Ichijou quickly goes in front of Rido. The serpent stops. Ichijou shouts, sorry, I cannot let you hurt Senri! He will not let Senri become a sacrificed victim in their fight. Kaname asks Ichijou, can I consider you to be standing at the side of the council of ancients. Ichijou says think whatever you want. Rido tells Ichijou not to worry for Kaname isn’t serious because even if this borrowed body is destroyed, it is of no significance. Ichijou says he will not think that way..saying that from Kaname’s position. Rido says even if it is like that, it doesn’t matter, for as long as I’m able to get the thing that is needed for my complete resurrection. That child..has she awaken from her nap? The happy dream has become a nightmare, no matter what, those fierce fangs has started to erode that child from within. Kaname says, Rido, don’t think that a filthy person shouldn’t take the trouble to even dare to touch her. The rock serpent crumbles. Kaname and Seiren are gone. Only Ichijou and Rido are left in the room.

Yuuki is surprised to see Kaname comes in her room through the window. He quickly goes to her and hugs her. Yuuki hugs him back and says, since from the very start, there is something important that I wanted to ask Kaname. A tear falls down her cheek and asks, why is it that when you are with me, you always have that pained expression. The scene showed that Kaname does have a pained expression. Kaname is already carrying Yuuki out the window when Zero comes in the room. Yuuki seems to have fallen asleep. Zero asks Kaname what does he plan to do with Yuuki. Kaname just says...you cannot betray her... There is a gush of wind that cuts Zero’s cheek so Zero shields himself. When the wind has past, Yuuki and Kaname are no longer there. Kaname is sitting on a ledge of a building with Yuuki lying on his lap. Yuuki holds up her hand at the snow and thought, snow.. bright red snow. Yuuki holds back her stretched hand. In tears, she says..the world has become dyed in blood..cannot change back..I only..wanted to do my best to remember... Kaname says, Yuuki, that’s enough..try..to awaken..before you are destroyed. Yuuki closes her eyes and lets Kaname bite her.

From what has happened, I’m beginning to worry about characters whether they will survive the series. ^^; Currently, Kaname and Yuuki’s chances of dying has gone up. ^^;; It is now established that their common enemy is Rido. For someone who is hard to ‘kill’ since he can revive himself though it takes time and possess people, I think he is a more formidable enemy than Shizuka. After all, Kaname has to get Shizuka’s blood and he has already tried to kill Rido before. So, it turned out that Kaname has already gotten his revenge from whoever killed his parents. I’m somewhat thinking that it is a power play within the Kuran family. I think Rido just doesn’t want to relinquish his role as head. Unfortunately, Kaname wasn’t able to finish the job. I wonder what is Yuuki’s role to all of this that Kaname is fiercely protecting her. I’m sure she is connected to all of this though I highly doubt that she is what Rido needs to complete his resurrection for he seems to want to destroy her rather than keep her safe. No wonder Kaname doesn’t need to tell her to remind her of her past..he only needs to bite her. I’m still wondering if she was a vampire before hence when Kaname meant awaken, she will be back to her old self. Like, when she ‘awakens’, is it like her real personality will come out? I’m imagining that she is like Nel from Bleach. I hope she won’t be vampire food since her blood is known to be ‘sweet’ for vampires. I’m hoping she will indeed become stronger so that she can more or less protect herself.

About looking sad, I’m still guessing if Yuuki has something to do with Kaname’s parents death or he is just looking sad because of the inevitable that will happen to Yuuki – her happy dream becomes a nightmare. I think Kaname is still depending on Zero to help Yuuki that is why he said that especially since it is highly doubtful if the others would still help him play bodyguard to Yuuki. And, I’m guessing he took Yuuki from the room so that Zero will not interfere with the biting. Whether Zero is sincere or not, it does seem that he gave Yuuki to Kaname when he said that what she needs is Kaname. He could have used that opportunity to make Yuuki closer to him or something to that effect. Also, it isn’t good that Zero is still being suicidal..I mean, what if Yuuki did killed him. Why didn’t Zero even thought if that happen, who would protect Yuuki? Didn’t it even occur to him that Kaname needs him to protect Yuuki that is why he even gave his blood to him. So, in this chapter, I somewhat feel that Kaname X Yuuki works even though it is mildly sad-romantic. I’m also kind of thinking if this series will still be a ‘school series’ after all that is happened. It would seem silly if they would go back to school as if nothing has happened. So, what will happen in the next chapter? From the blurb of the preview in the raws, the ones I can read is something about Yuuki’s destiny and past. It will be 41 pages chapter.

Ouran High Host Club [Side Story : Kuze-sempai's Weakness and Happy Life]

Carrying a box that has a boxing glove spring trick in it, Kuze angrily goes to Ouran club. With a bruise on his face, Kuze angrily shouts if it is Kyouya who put that practical joke gift on his table. The host club boys look at him in surprise as Kyouya greets him, what happened, you don’t look that bad. Honey asks if Kuze encountered an ‘assassination attempt’. The twins looks at the box and laughs that it is one of the classic trick toys and at the present, the only people who would fall for it would be Tamaki. Kuze angrily shouts for them to keep quiet for today is his birthday and the only one who would do such an irritating thing would only be Kyouya for it is his style.. Tamaki is shock to find out that today is Kuze’s birthday. He frantically wonders what to give him and asks what does Kuze want. Kyouya muses that it is indeed Kuze’s birthday, it has slipped his mind. Kuze angrily shouts how could Kyouya forgot the birthday of his childhood friend. The twins noticed something inside the box. It is a picture of young Kuze and Kanan holding oranges. On the picture, there is something written – 371 article. They wonder what does it mean and based on the picture, the trickster is none other than.. Tamaki is busy looking over his stuff – something to give to Kuze.

Haruhi arrives and apologizes for being late. She is holding a present and says good thing that Kuze is there. She gives him the box and says, happy birthday. Tamaki is freaking out why [Haruhi knows or why is she giving him a gift] Kuze is surprised and blushes. He asks if this is her special treat for him. Haruhi says it isn’t, Kanan who was outside was the one who gave it to her. It was too late for Kuze has already opened the box and a cake springs into his face. Mori restrains Kuze who is angrily shouting for Kanan to come out. Honey is shock as Tamaki tries to pacify Kuze by telling him to calm down, there got to be a reason for it. The twins are busy laughing as Kyouya is amused. Kuze angrily says what kind of reason. What other possible reason is there for giving that kind of cake on the birthday of one’s fiancé. Haruhi frantically says that she remembers Kanan saying that this is ‘shock therapy’. On Kuze’s birthday today, no matter what he has to remember something. Haruhi says that Kanan wants him to remember something. Flashback: A scene of Haruhi asking what it is to Kanan. Kana has told her that thing that can’t easily be said is a promise when they were young. It seems that Kuze has forgotten all about it. End flashback. Kuze and others look at Haruhi in surprise as Tamaki is wiping the icing from Kuze.

Kyouya muses that it is quite unexpected that Kanan has girlish feelings. Haruhi asks if Kyouya knew what it is. Kyouya says that Kanan is the daughter of a lawyer so look at civil law article 731. Haruhi is surprised that she quickly looks in the book. The twins are surprised that Haruhi is already studying law books. Haruhi says it is about ‘marriageable age’ Kuze remembers. Flashback: Holding an orange, young Kuze tries to impress Kanan. He tells her that until a guy turns 18 and a girl turns 16, they cannot get married. Kuze asks if she is surprised about that. Kanan says yes. Kana thought she already knew this. Kuze then said, so let’s promise. End flashback. Kuze says, If I turned 18.. He sees Kana enters the room. Kuze continues, I will officially propose to you. Kanan smiles and asks if Kuze remembered. Kuze blushes and denies that he forgot about it but he just remembered it now. Everyone is shock and happily anticipates as to what is going to happen as Kyouya is busy taking pictures. Kuze holds Kanan’s shoulder. Kuze says, but I’m sorry..Kanan, let me officially say it, will you marry...

Before Kuze can finish, Kanan uses a toy water gun to splash water on Kuze’s face. Kanan says joking around ♥ this is after all, a practical joke birthday, when our parents had officially agreed for the two of us to get married, since before age no longer matters, did you forget, Mr. stupid? Everyone is aghast over what Kanan just did as Kyouya continues taking pictures. Kanan got angry and shouts, Kanan, you stupid. Mori restrains him again. Tamaki frantically tries to make Kuze calm down again and says he is going to give him a gift, here my autograph. Kuze shouts he doesn’t want it. Haruhi thought that Kanan is quite a brave person. Kyouya is now busy writing something. Kuze shouts for Tamaki and Mori to let him go. Tamaki shouts that he will if Kuze accepts the gift. Later on Kanan wipes the icing left on Kuze’s face. Kuze thought that she is really a weird girl. Kanan says that this way, he will never forget this. But honestly, I really wanted to hear those words but because everyone else is there to hear it, it feels a bit of a waste.

I kind of feel sorry for Kuze here at how Kanan is teasing him around. ^^;; But then, it is funny and somewhat romantic. They are a good match. I guess Kanan wants those words spoken in private..when they are really going to get married. =P I don’t think it is advisable to do such things to one’s fiancé just to make him remember a promise. ^^;; I think Kyouya is amused over all of this. Hehe Takami is cute for trying to calm down Kuze. Well, nothing much to say. Hehe

Ojousama wa Oyomesama [Chapter 1]

[The Chinese title is Young Miss is a Bride. The story is about an ojou-sama [it is used to address girls born in a high class family] whose family has a tradition wherein they get married at the age of 18 to someone who was born on the same day and time as they are. Every year, she is given a picture of the boy she will marry. Finally, before her 18th birthday, they finally met but then, he isn’t what she imagined him to be. Will the marriage push through? Will they fall in love? Will..ah, just read on. =P This is a nice love comedy and the cover arts are nice ^_^ Oh ya, the author is Hazuki Megumi.]

A pretty girl wearing a kimono is holding a photograph of a boy. Some servants congratulates her and addresses her as Eienko–ojousama. [Her name means forever child. Nice name.] Eienko looks at the picture and says, finally, I can see my fiancé, Yukawa-sama. Flashback: When Eienko was a child, they always give her Yukawa’s picture as a birthday gift. Her parent told her that when she is 18 years old, she can marry this boy. Eienko happily takes the picture and thought that she wants to grow up quickly and meet this boy soon. End flashback. She has been given a picture of Yukawa every year and now, finally, it will be time to see the real person. She checks her kimono and the maids say that she looks beautiful. Eienko is really happy and bids them goodbye. In a Japanese-styled house, Eienko faces a sliding door while sitting in seiza [Kneeling on one's own lower legs, with the feet under the buttocks, toes pointed backwards] She looks at the picture from last year and thought that Yukawa will be really pretty now. It is Aug. 13. She starts to imagine him as a nice, gentleman, smiling face, a person who will protect her and if they get married, it will really be blissful. Eienko opens the door and sees Yukawa. She starts squealing in delight with hearts all over – haha, he is really gorgeous, cool looking than in the picture. Yukawa says hey, can you free me. Eienko notices that Yukara is tied up on one of the pillars.

Eienko is shock and thought it is a ‘bind game’ that she doesn’t know how to play. Eienko cries and apologizes that she will go learn how to play it. Yukawa screams that she is misunderstanding it, he was brought there already tied up. Eienko apologizes to him at how the servants had treated him. Yukawa asks if she is from this place. Eienko remembers something and quickly goes back to seiza position. She bows to him. She greets him a good evening and that she will be his wife, Eienko Gokurakuin. Eienko happily thinks that this is the start for the two of them and they will be happily married. To Eienko’s shock, Yukawa responded with a huh. Eienko wonders what’s with that cold response and he looks a bit scary. Yukawa is already freed and asks what is this all about, was she mistaken for he has nothing to do with this family. Eienko thought there shouldn’t be a mistake. She tells him but you were born on August 20, 1989 at 18:32 [6:32pm] and last year, you look like this, aren’t you Yukawa? Eienko shows him his picture which shocks Yukawa. He takes the picture and shouts that it is him. Eienko is delighted that it is him. She quickly shows him a long scroll [family book tradition?] to explain the situation to him for it is her duty. She tells him that in her family, when a child is born, on his/her 18th birthday, they will marry someone who was born on the same day and time. Until the time they are about to marry, they cannot see each other. Eienko happily tells shocked Yukawa that they are both born on August 20, 1989 at 18:32 so they are fated to get married. Eienko starts to daydream that this is fated and romantic that now they have met, would he give her happiness.

Yukawa angrily shouts hey. This made Eienko a bit scared. Yukawa asks if this is some joke, he was brought there to get married, is there something wrong with her head. Eienko is confused and thought how could Yukawa talk like that. Yukawa angrily tells her that they cannot get married just because they were born on the same time and day, is that called fate, considered romantic, stop dreaming, how can they marry like that. Eienko is shock and starts to cry – no way. The Yukawa I was waiting for is a kind gentleman but he turned out to be this cold mister. Someone who agrees to marry her, not this one who refuses to marry her. A prince, not a demon. She becomes gloomy over the real Yukawa that she has been long waiting for. Yukawa says he is leaving. Eienko says it is useless. She shows him part of the scroll. It says that they cannot leave that place until the wedding ceremony. Yukawa screams what kind of joke is this, he isn’t going to play their silly game. Eienko shouts that he shouldn’t be shouting, for she should be the one screaming. Eienko angrily screams that she thought he will be a good person. But, she never thought he would be a cold, insensitive, impatient guy. No, no, I don’t want to get married to this kind of guy. Yukawa says, oy. Eienko looks at him and thought how could things become like this, I wanted to be this person’s wife yet he turned out to be a cold, scary, insensitive guy. My fated person isn’t like this. She imagines him as a demon with a club. She decide that they both find a way to escape. She will help him escape so that they won’t get married as according to the book. They have to find a way to escape before August 19.

They are walking around the garden to find a way to escape but Eienko got herself trapped in a caged trap. Eienko freaks out. Yukawa frees her by pulling a lever and asks if ojousamas are like that. Eienko shouts what does he mean by that. Yukawa says that they imagine about love and are a bit stupid – getting trapped by their own traps. He says he doesn’t understand why she would want to get married to someone she has never seen before. Eienko says she has a picture. Yukawa asks if she meant last year’s picture. To Yukawa’s shock, Eienko tells him that she has his picture since he was one year old. He looks cute and seems nice then. It was when he was 10 years that there is a change, he became a bsho. Yukawa asks why. Eienko tells him that every year on her birthday, they will give her his picture. She would look at it everyday and hopes to see him one day but she never thought that he turned out to be this kind of guy. Yukawa sweatdrops as he looks at Eienko’s small album of his pictures. Eienko says that she can’t believe it, who cares, it turned her dreams into ashes – her dream that getting married to him will make her happy. Yukawa returns her album and asks haven’t she fallen in love before. Eienko shouts that she already has a fiancé so she couldn’t fall in love with someone else. Yukawa confesses that he has dated others but he haven’t loved someone before either. Eienko asks what does he mean. Yukawa says that girls always looks at the physical appearance, they haven’t talked yet and it seems as if they know everything about you. Looking at Yukawa, Eienko thought that it seems even such a cute face like him has experienced some pain. Yukawa looks at her and says, you are also the same. Eienko says it isn’t so for it was when she looked at him that she likes him. Yukawa says about the marriage, shouldn’t people be both in love before they get married then it will become blissful. Both of them have different ideas about it. Eienko is still shock about the idea of loving first then get married.

Wearing an apron, Eienko says it is time to eat. Yukawa is shock and asks if an ojousama like her can actually cook. Eienko says of course, I have studied it. After many screams and crashing kitchenware, Yukawa decided to cook for himself. Eienko is shock at Yukawa’s cooking skills and the food he made actually looked good. Yukawa teases her that if she wants to eat, she can go ahead. Eienko felt that she made to look like a fool. Eienko says she just thinks it looks good. She tastes one of the dishes. Yukawa asks, how is it, ojousama? Eienko smiles and says it’s good. To Eienko’s surprise, Yukawa quickly covers his mouth and starts to laugh and say that is quite an honest response. Eienko blushes over his reaction. Yukawa is shock over what he just did. Eienko exclaims that he can smile normally and a cold person can actually do that, this is really good. Yukawa quickly turns away and tells her she is noisy, why don’t she eat quickly. Eienko sweatdrops and thought that Yukawa changed back. Yukawa seems to be blushing a bit as Eienko thought that he looks cute that way when he smiled. While taking a bath in the hot spring, Eienko thought she doesn’t understand, didn’t he just helped her. She thought that this is quite hard if only he wasn’t such a cold person. After she comes out, wearing her yukata [robe]. She sees Yukawa and asks if he has taken a bath. Yukawa says he did. Eienko says he shouldn’t wear his ordinary clothes back, he should change. Eienko strips him to his shorts and made him wear a yukata. Yukawa shouts what the heck is she doing. Eienko exclaims in surprise and starts rubbing Yukawa’s chest. She says it is really smooth and flat. Yukawa is really red over what she is doing. Eienko says a boy’s body are really different from girls. It’s really beautiful. I have only seen my younger brother’s once when I was 8 years old. Yukawa tries to tell her to stop what she is doing. To his shock and embarrassment, Eienko looks into his shorts and asks what is below here. Yukawa shouts, stupid!

Eienko has a huge bump on her head as she screams at Yukawa why did he hit her, he is really pathetic. Yukawa quickly covers himself and shouts that she is the one who is pathetic. Eienko says that she is just curious. Yukawa shouts what kind of reason is that. Eienko tries to help him tie his yukata but Yukawa insist on doing it himself. Eienko says that he should let her tie it properly else it will open up when he is asleep. Yukawa finally relents and asks if Eienko is like that when she is calm, she seems to have many expressions. Eienko is confused and asks wasn’t he also like that – having many expressions. Eienko is happy that it seems they have some similarity. She starts moving left and right that Yukawa asks what’s wrong. Eienko says that she is usually asleep by 9pm. As the clock rings 9pm, Eienko falls asleep that Yukawa has to catch her. Yukawa then thought that he also has those kind of expressions, it is all because of her. Eienko starts to dream of the past. She asks her mother if she is leaving again. Her mother says she is because she has work. Her parents relationship are really good. They are not alone as her mother always goes out with her father. I am all alone but if I become older, Yukawa will surely be at my side. Eienko looks at his picture. Eienko is surprised to see a boy’s figure who looked like Yukawa with photos flying around. He tells her there is no such person. Eienko wakes up in a start. She then notices Yukawa sleeping and thought that she has just started living with this person.

Days flies by as when she is with him, everyday she would think of him. More scenes of the two cooking, Yukawa helping tie her into ponytails – he said he has a younger sister, and helping her up when she fell down a hole trap. It is already August 19. Sitting by the pond, Eienko holds her album and thought that if they didn’t find the way out by tomorrow, they will both be.. Eienko looks at the picture again and thought about what Yukawa said that they should love each other before getting married so that they will be happy. Eienko blushes as she looks at the album again. Something jumps near her that she lets go off the album. The album has fallen into the pond. Yukawa hears a splash in the water and sees that Eienko is in the pond. He shouts what is she doing. While trying to find the album, Eienko says the album has fallen and it is near there. To Eienko’s surprise, Yukawa tries to get her back up. Eienko shouts for him to stop, she is alright, the picture. Yukawa shouts don’t worry about the picture. Eienko shouts, no, for whenever she looks at the picture, she becomes more cheerful. Even if he wasn’t with her, she feels he is there. And even if she can’t see him, she always.. Yukawa shouts that there is no such person. Yukawa makes her sit on the side of the pond and says, what picture, you don’t need it, the real person is right here. Eienko is surprised by his outburst. Yukawa goes up from the pond and sits down. He says, even if he isn’t the kind of person she thought he would be. Eienko thought, that’s right, I’m always thinking of a kind and gentleman..this person is not like that. She holds his robe from behind and thought, but you are going to leave me, right? Eienko is about to say, Yukawa, I.. Yukawa asks if it is a mouse. Eienko asks, huh. Yukawa says it could have come from outside. The two looks up and sees a gate that is open. Even if there is no escape route, it is okay. Always like this is okay. For if they found it, then we --

I kind of think this story is like a fairy tale. The two leads haven’t know each other well and they are arranged to be married. Doesn’t that sound like Goong? Unlike Goong, these two leads doesn’t have that I like you-I don’t like you kind of relationship. Eienko is like a princess – lonely and naïve but then, she is a fun character. Unlike other typically ojousamas, she doesn’t have any airs like being proud, etc. It is because of that, it is quite believable on how she is able to melt Yukawa’s cold exterior. In only a week, they are already getting along with each other that Eienko has fallen for this Yukawa even if it wasn’t the same one as she has been dreaming about based on just his pictures. The premise is a bit silly as to what other silly family traditions would they have to follow and like what about school, etc. But then, this is shoujo and so, let’s just do away with that and enjoy the story. =P

Nana [Chapter 70]

Because I have a child to take care of. Because there is still work to do. I have many, many reasons as to why I can’t look for Nana right now. In the end, I think the reason is because I’m very afraid. Afraid that she will discard my open hand. Hachi has gone shopping with Satsuki. Satsuki is then looking at some chocolate candy display in the what seems to be a department store. She drools over them when Hachi calls out to her. She tells her that when she didn’t mind her for a second, Satsuki has run off to who knows where. She tells her to hold her hand. Satsuki exclaims if they are going to buy chocolates for it will be Valentine’s day soon. Hachi tells her that she isn’t going to buy chocolates because she is going to make them. Satsuki is awed by this and declares that she is going to make her own, too. Hachi tries to explain that Valentines’ Day isn’t the day when she gets to eat lots of chocolates. Satsuki says she knows, it is the day when girls give chocolates to the boys they like. Hachi is shock and asks to whom is she planning to give one. Satsuki doesn’t answer. Hachi asks if it is her father. Satsuki shakes her head. Hachi asks, brother? Satsuki still shakes her head. Hachi guesses that it could be Yasu. Satsuki shouts that argh, no, mama is stupid. Hachi tells Satsuki not to extremely say that for it will hurt Yasu’s feelings since Yasu has treated her as if she is his own daughter. Satsuki angrily says that she likes both Yasu and papa but it is not that kind of like. Satsuki starts to walk on her own as Hachi realizes what she meant. She calls out to Satsuki as to who it is. Satsuki says she doesn’t plan on telling anyone especially mama because mama is a big mouth. Hachi sweatdrops and says if she tells her, she will teach her how to make the world’s most delicious chocolate. Satsuki asks, really. Hachi nods her head. Finally, Satsuki relents and says, it is Shin-chan. Satsuki blushes as she thought of Shin. Hachi is utterly shock that she dropped the bags she is carrying.

At Juuko’s house, Juuko is laughing loudly over this. They are having tea/coffee. Hachi shouts that this isn’t funny, she didn’t like others but unexpectedly chose that loafer who have many convictions [criminal record] and there is a huge age gap. Juuko says how could she say that when Satsuki could just have inherited Hachi’s ‘choosing by appearance’ DNA. Hachi feels faint. Juuko asks so what does she plan to do now. Hachi looks at her and upon seeing Juuko looking serious, she tells her that she will wait for Satsuki’s spring break before going to England. Juuko says even if she went, what can she do. Hachi says that Takumi is currently helping her investigate if the bar where Nana is singing is really in England. It would be better if Nana is found earlier. Juuko says that she doesn’t mean that, aren’t you going to have a divorce? Hachi says she isn’t because there is not much reason to go through an expensive divorce. Juuko says there are many reasons why she should divorce. Hachi answers back that there are also many reason why they shouldn’t divorce. Kyosuke is just about to enter as the two women are quiet. All dressed up and holding a portfolio bag, Kyosuke says he is now going to a meeting in Yotsuya [It is in Shinjuku, Tokyo]. Juuko walks him out as she says that he also has a meeting next week, would he eat there. Kyosuke says he will eat first before coming back. Juuko says then I would have to economize more. Hachi asks where is Satsuki. Kyosuke says that she has fallen asleep while he is telling her a story. After he left, the two goes to the room and sees Satsuki is indeed sleeping. Hachi apologizes for Satsuki is sleeping at their bed. Juuko says it is okay, just let her sleep. Hachi says but tomorrow she has school and if she did, she won’t be able to sleep any more at night. Hachi tries to wake Satsuki up. Satsuki then clings on to her while she is still sleepy. Juuko suggests that she prepare them dinner before they leaving. Hachi says wouldn’t it better to just order out. Juuko smiles and tells her that both of them are very busy so once in a while goofing off is okay. Hachi doesn’t protest anymore.

When they arrived at their flat, room 302, Satsuki screams I’m home. Hachi says that the phone is ringing. Satsuki quickly goes in and says she is going to answer it. Hachi shouts for her to wait, her shoes [she didn’t remove them]. Satsuki answers the phone and it is Takumi. Satsuki happily says she is okay, she just went shopping with mama then went to Juuko’s house and ate there. Hachi tries to tell Satsuki to give her the phone. Satsuki says she still wants to talk to him. Hachi tells her, later, for she has to remove her shoes and wash up before talking on the phone. Satsuki finally gives her the phone and runs off. Takumi tells Hachi but how come you can answer the phone when you haven’t wash up first. Hachi sweatdrops. Takumi says what the adults said so, it will be so. Hachi says not to talk about that for now, so what, has anything happened. Takumi says at his side, there is nothing special happening but I have already investigated where that pub is. Hachi is surprised. Takumi is then called by a man at his work. Hachi asks really. Takumi says that’s right, I have already emailed to you the details, so just check it. Hachi is in tears as she says she will. She thanks him. Takumi says if she wants to thank someone, thank Naoki for he did most of the work. Hachi hurries to her room while she is still on the phone. Hachi says she will call him later. Takumi says goodbye. Hachi tells him to wait, for Satsuki is still going to talk with him. Takumi says that he also wants to talk with Satsuki but currently, he is very busy so he will call again. In the room, there is a huge poster of Ren with other notes tagged on the wall. Below is a laptop computer on a table. Upon seeing that, Hachi asks when will that be? Is Ren okay? Takumi says about that guy, you don’t need to worry about him. He then hangs up the phone. Hachi looks downcast. She then opens her computer. Hey, Nana. Reira is singing in some park as some music is played. There are squirrels all about her. She says that it is a beautiful music. She turns around and smiles to a boy sitting on the bench. She says, Ren is really a genius. A young boy holding a guitar with a small speaker. The boy then holds on Reira’s hand as they start to walk away. There is still one month before spring break. Please don’t go anywhere. I will also not run away anymore.

[Past] In room 707, Nana opens a box and is surprised to see a chocolate cake as Hachi looks on. Nana asks what is this. Hachi exclaims really, you must have forgotten, today is Valentine’s day. Nana says that she knows because already fans gave her heaps of chocolates that she can’t even finish eating so even if Hachi didn’t give her chocolate, it is okay. Nana is about to eat the strawberry on the cake when Hachi exclaims that she shouldn’t eat it. Nana asks what does she mean. Taking the cake, Hachi says this cake will be given to Ren by Nana. Hachi imagines Nana giving the cake to Ren, shyly saying this is part of my feelings. Hachi happily tells Nana since Nana is very busy that she doesn’t have time to buy chocolates so she helped her by making this one. Hachi puts the cake back into the box. Nana says she is still too meddlesome. Hachi tells her not to be show off that she is strong, so go back home tonight with this. Nana says this place is my home, for this is the place which I found by myself. Hachi remembers the time when they introduced each other and will start living there together. After a pause, Hachi asks what had happened between her and Ren. Nana says it is nothing. Hachi looks downcast. Honestly, I know already. I still cannot pour out my thoughts to Nana. Flashback: Miu and Hachi are talking. Miu told her about what happened between the two – Nana calling Ren, asking him to replace Shin but Nana was flatly rejected. Hachi asked if that is why Nana is angry. Miu says aside from being angry, it could be said that Nana is hurt. Because of this, she had cast away her pride and yet, she is still rejected. But Nana is still quite headstrong, if only she think Ren’s position before immediately asking that favor. Also, she has gone to compete against Trapnest, as a rival. Hachi tried to defend Nana by saying that the main reason why Nana has competed against Trapnest is because Ren has betrayed her. Miu said she doesn’t think that is betrayal for Ren just chose the path for his music profession, it’s not like abandoning Blast. Hachi is surprised by what Miu said. Miu said even if it is a betrayal, she doesn’t think that Ren will sacrifice this part of him for Nana. This isn’t a repayment nor is it fair. End flashback. Nana has gone to compete against Trapnest, one of the main reasons could be because I have also betrayed Nana. Hachi sadly looks at Nana. This isn’t because I want to do something for Nana nor is it because I want reach an understanding with her. Ren must also be thinking of this. The door bell rings and it is Mai. She has come to pick up Nana. Nana happily tells Hachi that she is going now so just leave the cake. She will eat it when she comes back. Hachi can’t say anything as Nana and Mai goes out of the apartment. Mai tells Nana that there are reporters downstairs. Nana happily says, really, I wonder if they would give me chocolates. Really..even if it is a good thing that she is upbeat but I do not want her to cast her feelings aside. There’s no need to discuss, I will definitely help those two make up. Hachi looks at the cake. Using my deeply ‘confident in’ love cake.

Takumi is sleeping in bed when he was awaken by his phone ringing. His manager says that he is already downstairs. Takumi is still sleepy. [Hehe, Hachi puts in a stuffed toy on the bed in her place. =P] Takumi angrily goes out of the room and calls Hachi, didn’t I told you to wake me up at 9am. He notices a covered dish and a note on the table. The note says, I headed off to Nana, Eat this. Takumi says, again, I don’t have time to eat. Takumi is shock to see the chocolate has a pout and popped vein. Takumi arrives where the other members were. He wonders why is Hachi angry, what is that about, he doesn’t understand women. Naoki happily greets him a good morning. Reira smiles at him. Takumi freaks out when Ren whispers to him, Hi, darling ♥ He offers Takumi a small box of chocolate and says, this is part of my feelings. Takumi shouts he doesn’t want it. Ren says that this is given to him by Miki from front desk. Does he know what it means? Ren opens the gift and says, it’s ‘please eat me ♥’, not bad. Takumi says talking about that, could you please quickly make up with Nana. Because Nana went back to room 707, my wife always goes there and it is quite troublesome. Ren doesn’t reply. Takumi tells Ren to quickly get back Nana home. Ren says, what the-- that person also run away from home. Takumi asks where is he staying at night, which girl. Ren says, room 2606. Takumi is shock and looks at Reira’s direction. Takumi shouts, Reira, come here for a moment. This surprises everyone there then Ren smiles over this as he eats a piece of chocolate.

At Reira’s dressing room, Reira tells Takumi not to misunderstand for she has already given that room to Ren and she has gone back to her condominium unit in Shibuya. It is because I find the hotel room boring and I have already told the boss about it. Takumi says I haven’t heard about this. Reira says there is no need to report to you every single little thing, you are not my boyfriend. Takumi sweatdrops and says, where you want to live is your business. It is not good that she is an accomplice in helping Ren leave home and those two will be okay even if you don’t help them. Takumi asks if her plan to meet Shin isn’t progressing smoothly. Reira just sadly looks at herself in the mirror. She opens her bag and takes something. She says I have already decided not to meet with Shin. This surprises Takumi that he quickly turns around to face her. Then, he is surprised that Reira is giving him a box of chocolate. Reira tells him not to misunderstand, this is just thanks. Takumi says, thanks, I don’t want a giri-choko. [chocolate given to men such as bosses, colleagues or male friends that women have no romantic interest in, just for friendship or gratitude.] I only receive honmei-choko [chocolate given to a loved one]. Takumi starts to leave as Reira exclaims that Takumi doesn’t want this box of chocolate. I also do not want to lose to loneliness because I still have Takumi’s approved song. Takumi’s face soften as Reira looks sad. Outside, Ren receives a text message from Hachi – Nana is really soul searching. Really Sorry. Tonight, please go to room 707 and get her back. I beg of you! ♥ Hachi ♥ - Naoki sees the chocolate and tells Ren that chocolates is bad for the skin so he is going to help him eat it. Naoki takes a piece as Ren looks melancholic. Back in the dressing room, Reira is surprised that Takumi takes the chocolate box from her. Hachi's narration: Hey Nana. I’m going to look for Nana not because I want to reach an understanding with her. It is because I still like Nana and that is all there is to it.

About the kid with Reira, here’s my theory. The last part of the present arc and also the past arc, both ends with Reira in it. I kind of think that it is deliberate so that kid is Takumi’s. That kid seems to be around Satsuki’s age so it could be around this time, you know what. I doubt that it is Ren’s for he is still preoccupied with Nana at the present. Is that the reason why Takumi is living in England instead of with Hachi and Satsuki? I think that park isn’t in Japan but in Europe. Could this be one of the many reasons why Takumi and Hachi should divorce that Juuko mentioned. Still no word as to what exactly happened to present Ren. Well, At least they have found the pub. If Hachi can’t go there right now, I’m hope one of the others would. A month does seem long..especially in Nana’s current state. As for the past arc, I kind of think that it will start Reira x Takumi. Also, there is a nice contrast between Takumi and Hachi. Both want Ren and Nana to be together but Takumi’s reason, it is for his convenience so that Hachi will be there to ‘take care/serve’ of him while Hachi’s reason is because she is a friend who cares.

Weekly Jump Update: Bleach, Naruto, D. Grayman, Reborn and Gintama

Byakuya notices a mark on his hand which Zommari starts to control in Bleach [c. 301]. Byakuya just wounds his arm to stop it from moving. Hanatarou exclaims what is he doing but Byakuya uses a spell to push unconscious Rukia further away. He also tells Hanatarou to back away. Zommari gloats what Byakuya can do with an injured leg and arm. Byakuya answers back that even with a wounded leg and arm, he is still far from being his level. This irritated Zommari tells him that every eye on his body can make a target so when he hit Byakuya on the arm, there are actually two of them. That other one had hit Rukia. Rukia is then controlled. She slashes Hanatarou. Before Byakuya could go to her, she is already holding her zapaku to her own head. Zommari tells Byakuya to stop moving and that Byakuya is lost for if he targets the head, he can control that person. He orders Byakuya to drop his zanpaku. Byakuya did but he quickly uses a spell to bind Rukia so that Zommari can’t control Rukia. Byakuya then calls out his bankai. Zommari tries to control the blades but Byakuya says it is useless for he only has fifty eyes = fifty targets but his blades are millions. Zommari can only curse as Byakuya finishes him off with his bankai. Really...that was pretty one sided fight. So what if Byakuya can’t use a leg or an arm, his technique doesn’t even require him to hold his zanpaku. ^^;; If Zommari get to fight Ichigo and others, he might have a chance in winning but unfortunately for him, it was Byakuya. Hanatarou didn’t even get to do anything..I hope he can at least heal himself. I wonder if there will be a bit of Zommari scene in the next chapter though I think it will be about another fight which is probably the mad scientists since I have a feeling that Kenpachi’s will be the last one.

Jiraiya manages to trap the three Peins in a cube of water so that they can’t move in Naruto [c. 379]. Pein muses that he never thought Jiraiya can do that kind of illusion technique. Jiraiya tells him that he have told him before not to underestimate his opponents. Jiraiya wonders what have gone wrong with Nagato/Pein for he wanted him to surpass pain and not create pain. Remembering what the sage frog’s prophecy about his student, Jiraiya decides to kill Pein. After stabbing all three, Jiraiya walks away, thinking he has made his decision. While the frogs are complaining about using that technique has made their throat hurt, Jiraiya is shock to hear Pein in another body, from behind him, telling him that he take things for granted. While Jiraiya is turning around to face him, Pein has already attack him. A huge explosion and Jiraiya got tossed out of the building. Jiraiya’s left arm got ripped off. They talked among themselves that this Pein is different from the other three and Pein could have summoned it while they were preparing for the illusion technique. Some blood got splattered on the other ‘dead’ Peins. Out from the hole, six Peins came out. Jiraiya and frogs are shocked that there are six of them including the other three that they have already defeated. Short haired Pein, the form he originally used tells Jiraiya that all six of them are all Pein. Jiraiya wonders why all of them have the rinnegan then he realizes something as he looks nervous. Ya, Jiraiya is in deep trouble now. He manages to defeat all three but fighting six and he is missing an arm, that would be quite a disadvantage for him. If Pein is this powerful, I think getting Naruto will be no problem at all. There is no One Piece this week.

Everyone in Black Order are gossiping about Allen being related to Noah and that they might be invaded from within in D. Gray-man [c. 138]. Bak’s two companions starts to say that Allen uses the same weapon as the Earl and even tried to save Suman who was a traitor. The other exorcists with Allen are uneasy with the rumors. It takes Johnny, a glasses scientist with Rever, to shout that Allen is a good person that made everyone quiet. Meanwhile, while brushing his teeth, Allen muses that he has gotten used to the shadow figure and that it is like an akuma soul hanging around. Rabi also comes in asking if Link has been bugging him because Allen looks as if he didn’t got any sleep. Rabi wants to cheer Allen but Allen is quite an optimist because he doesn’t want to brood about it for he has more complicated problems like Cross’ debts. Allen and Rabi notice that they have brought the egg to Black Order for they want to learn how akumas are made. Only Chemistry department are allowed. Rabi asks Rever to fix his innocence but everyone is already too busy to do it. Meanwhile, Rinali is meditating with Kanda. Kanda asks if it is because Malcolm is there for she used to do that when he is around. Rinali realizes that she always running away that Kanda told her that he thought she is quite strong. He tells her to meditate else he’ll send her out. Just then, Rinali is called to Hevlaska’s place. After examining Rinali, Hevlaska decided to take her innocence until it return it to its original form. Malcolm asks if they aren’t compatible anymore. Hevlaska says it isn’t that for it seems that like Allen’s, her innocence is evolving into a parasitic-type. It is more powerful but then, it shortens one’s life. Hevlaska isn’t sure yet about this but if they synchronize again, they would have to prepare. Rinali is surprised about this news and from Komui’s reaction, this is the truth.

During lunch, Link says that Allen should eat some vegetables for he is only 15. Allen is carrying a cart with lots of meat-based food. Allen angrily says but he only eats cakes. 19 years old Link is carrying lots of cakes. Rabi thought that they are eating a lot. Back at the egg, Bak and other two companions want to see the egg. Johnny tries to stop them and saying they are not allowed. Bak and others want to since they are short in manpower. Johnny says that this is their work. To his shock and Bak’s, a tail stabbed through Johnny’s chest. Bak is about to protest when he sees that his companion changes his appearance and says, that’s right, I am also working. Rever and everyone else look in shock to see Bak’s companion turned into a noah, the lady with Earl before. From other sites, her name is Lulubell. Lulubell says let’s start. Behind her, there are many third level akumas. So, the Earl is going to get egg back by infiltrating Black Order through Bak’s staff. What’s with Black Order’s Gate security? ^^; I guess this is where Allen can prove his innocence and even worth. I don’t think Rabi and Kanda would be able to fight since their innocence aren’t fixed. I’m somewhat thinking that Rinali will be forced to synchronize with her innocence. Well, at least, we get to see the other Generals’ powers.

While Takeshi is practicing with Reborn, the room shakes loudly in Katekyo Hitman Reborn! [c. 171]. Reborn suggests that they take a break by checking it out. They find a huge Tsuna-shaped crater on the wall as Tsuna is on the floor holding his head. They quickly go to him and ask what happened. Tsuna says he is practicing something. Reborn asks if he can perfect it. Tsuna says who knows, then he collapses. Reborn thought that Tsuna uses to say ‘I can’t’ and now it is ‘who knows’. Reborn muses that if Tsuna masters that technique it will be quite something. Meanwhile, Ryohei wants to fight with Hibari because he can go to Hibari’s house while the others can’t. Hibari tells him that he doesn’t want him there either. Kusa then got Ipin and Lambo to another room so that the two can fight it out. Bianchi and Fuuta watches over Chrome who has already calmed down. Chrome is wandering in her dreams as Mukuro is calling out to her. She sees a piece of his spear before it disappears. She cries and wonders what he is trying to tell her. She then sees a huge circular machine which starts to open. She tries to go see what is in it but young Irie pushes her away and shouts don’t touch it. Chrome wonders who is he. The young Irie then becomes the adult Irie.

This jolted Chrome and at the same time, Tsuna wakes up. He thought that it is Irie, what’s with that strange dream. He notices a note from Reborn telling him to check up on the training of the others. He decided to check on Hayato who might be up to some reckless training since he didn’t went to train with Bianchi. He looks around and can’t find Hayato until he notices Reborn and Takeshi peeking into a door. Takeshi notices him and tries to tell him to quickly escape but Tsuna doesn’t understand this. Takeshi with Reborn quickly pusjes Tsuna down to the floor as the whole place explodes. From the smoke, Hayato says that Sistema Cai is finished. Around him are many opened boxes. Hayato wonders how is he going to explain to Tsuna about this thing. On top of his head is a small feline-looking creature. It seems that Hayato manages to get his ‘box creature’. I guess Hayato has decided to train alone. I think this isn’t really a surprise for Hayato isn’t that ‘stupid’ ^^; I’m still wondering if there is some sort of connection between Tsuna and Mukuro that Tsuna has seen that dream and even before, he can easily sense Mukuro while others could not. Why is that? I think the clue is that thing can make people older than they are – something about Arcobaleno? Well, it seems that Tsuna is becoming more confident and less being pessimist..becoming more of a boss when under pressure.

Still in the MMORPG [Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game], Shinpachi thought that M is really cool as if he is from FF [Final Fantasy – he actually looks kind like Cloud =P] in Gintama [c. 191] . M brought them to a place while lectures them about the game. To Shinpachi’s shock, M turns out to be just Taizou. It seems that he got to that level, legendary M because he has a lot of free time = no work. They then notice two guys in tight suits. [It reminds me of the Phantom but with two bending ‘giraffe’ antennas ^^;] They think that these are the two who has changed them. A huge monkey appears and it is the final boss. Before they can do something, the two alien guys shot it with their gun and it is finished. The two alien guys are bored for the final boss is easily defeated. Shinpachi starts to fret for the two might not want to play the game anymore. M suggests that they create a new enemy for them to stay. Gin tells the two that there is a hidden boss and asks if they can go with them. The ‘sempai’ alien agrees for them to come along. Kondou and Katsura tries to attack them but in somewhat embarrassing manner that Gin has to hit them both. Alien guys asks why are they hitting their own companions as Gin just says that they are monkeys in disguise. ‘Sempai’ alien asks if they are with those people or not. Gin wants them to tell them before they do. In the end, it turned out that the two are just Hijitaka and Okita whose bodies are also turned into screwdrivers. ^^; Well, everyone seems to be online, hehe. It is amusing how the created characters do not look like who they really are except for Shinpachi. Everyone seems to be accounted for so maybe next chapter, they might get to catch the aliens who changed their bodies.

Koibana! Koiseyo Hanabi [Chapter 2]

[Luckily, I have found larger scans. I have re-edited chapter 1 which is mainly the names of Hanabi’s friends. I’m using their Chinese names because I can’t find their romanji names and if I did find them, they sound unnatural. Xiao Xu is her glasses friend who likes her boyfriend very much. Meiyi is her pretty friend who doesn’t like to be hassled by troublesome things. Yuan Shi is her chubby friend who likes to cook and eat. And, her dog is called Nanpa. ^^;]

After Hanabi passed out, she wakes up again to see Chikai holding her to keep her from falling. When she realized that, she quickly screams and backs away from Chikai. Chikai gets a bit irritated with her reaction. He said that when Hanabi is calm, she is shy but now, she seems to be avoiding him. He begins to reject her by saying even if it is the first time for him to see someone fainting upon seeing someone she likes, and even if it is true, he would still.. Hanabi realizes what he was saying that she screams, hey, wait.. She exclaims that he is mistaken when he is saying about ‘don’t have’ and ‘reject’ for it is the opposite. Hanabi thought that she wanted to add in, I don’t want to see someone like you. To Chikai’s surprise, Hanabi shouts that a person like her can’t stand boys. After a pause, Chikai asks what about girls. Hanabi says I really like. Chikai blushes and begins to think of yuri/girl’s love. Embarrassed, Hanabi shouts it isn’t that abnormal.. that wasn’t what she meant. She stops when she looks into Chikai’s eyes again. She freaks out since their eyes met again, and just shouts that she just can’t stand boys so there is no way she would like him. That’s all there is to it. She quickly runs away from him. Chikai looks down and sees a ribbon. He takes the ribbon on his finger and tells himself, a girl who hates guys? There is really a girl like that..and there is a girl who doesn’t like me.

Hanabi screams that she is contaminated as she goes back to her girl friends. She shouts that she talked with a boy, met eyes with a boy and it is really scary for he even holds her. They asks who it is. She tells them that it is the one from craftwork section who got her make-up bag. Everyone starts to scream that it is Chikai Uno. They asks where they met. She says in that beautiful small path. They wonder where it is. Hanabi then realizes that the ribbon on her bag’s handle is missing. While they were making a commotion, Yuan Shi looks at some Wakku [some restaurant, I think] and says that this is the last day for the promo so why don’t they go there after karaoke. Hanabi and the others quickly shouts of course! On her bed, Hanabi whines to Nanpa, her dog about Chikai that she is really unlucky that there is such a guy like that and her ribbon is missing. Petting Nanpa who is biting into a rubber duck, Hanabi says she even talked with him and meeting his gaze. That time when she forgot to breath..it has been a long time when only her father and Nanpa were the only ones get to touch her. Hanabi freezes and freaks out again that she was touched. She prays that the next day, she won’t have anything to do with Chikai Uno and it will be a smooth peaceful day. Nanpa narrates that it has been two years since he arrived in that house and he has never heard Hanabi say a boy’s name until now.

In class, they are learning how to wear a kimono. Hanabi praises Xiao Xu for being able to quickly wear one, no wonder she is one of the student council member. Xiao Xu then helps Meiyi. Hanabi overhears one of the girls talking about wearing a kimono while they sell during the cultural festival to attract customers. The other girl says they couldn’t else, their biscuits will be quickly sold out. Hanabi says that group is going to sell biscuits. Yuan Shi says that another group is going to do muffins and other baked goodies. They asks Hanabi what her group is planning to make. Hanabi is about to say that they have not decided on it when Meiyi says why don’t they just make onigiri/rice balls for they just need to shape steamed rice. Yuan Shi starts to imagine putting barbecue pork and others stiff in the onigiri. Meiyi says then that would be quite troublesome. Xiao Xu has an idea and tells them that she can ask Masato [her bf?] who gave her a cute basket made of leftover steel wires from the craftwork section. Xiao Xu suggests why don’t they ask craftwork class to make them baskets for their onigiri stall. Hanabi starts to look sick and thought, what?! They drag Hanabi along as they go to craftwork building. Hanabi protests that they can just use an ordinary box, why a basket. Xiao Xu says that they have to pass a paper about it [It is more like putting theory to practice, my best guess is that with good presentation, people would be enticed to buy.] and working with craftwork class would give them a higher score. Hanabi tries to discourage Xiao Xu by saying that the other girls will criticize them if they learn about this. Xiao Xu says that it is a girlfriend’s privilege since her boyfriend is in craftwork section. Poor Hanabi is forced to go along with them. She then passes by some second year class who is fangirling about their future husbands either from business section or craftwork section. They have gotten into a good school. The principal happily laughs as he passes by.

In the end, Hanabi manages to convince Xiao Xu to leave her behind the building as she waits for them to ask Xiao Xu’s boyfriend. Hanabi is feeling sick as she sits down holding her knees. She tries to tell herself that she isn’t there and it will be okay if she is just wait there. Someone calls out to her, playing hide and seek? Hanabi cries for it is Chikai and his friends. Hanabi says no, she isn’t. Chikai asks what is she doing. Hanabi says she is waiting for her friends. Glasses guy asks if she hates Chikai. Chikai says yes, and she also hates all of you because this person said she hates boys. Glasses friends exclaims in surprise, what does that mean. He starts poking Hanabi on the head that made Hanabi scream that it is true, sorry, really, so please quit it. The others start to joke around that Hanabi said, please quit it. Chikai says that she already hates it when that was done to her, why does she have to say it so politely. Hanabi angrily looks up to him and shouts that she can’t just ignore it and.. Hanabi freaks out again for she looked at Chikai.

She is finally saved when her friends passes by. Yuan Shi asks, Hanabi, are you alright? Glasses guy seems to have a crush on Meiyi. Hanabi weeps tears of joy as she quickly hugs Xiao Xu. The boys start to exclaim if Hanabi’s name is really Hanabi as in fireworks. Xiao Xu says that she is Hanabi Marui. The boys start to make fun of her name as to how it is pronounced. Hanabi thought, see, boys are like that, even if they are already grown up, they act as if they are still kids. Meiyi tells them that hanabi and ribbon is the same [in pronunciation, I guess] Hanabi then realizes that Chikai is using the ribbon from her bag to tie his hair up. Chikai remembers the ribbon, too. Chikai removes it and says he is going to give it back to her. Hanabi weeps and says, she give it to him because she doesn’t want it anymore. Chikai says I doesn’t want it either, Hanabi Marui. He holds her hand and puts the ribbon on her wrist. Chikai says that it is the first time he remembers a name from the girl’s section. Hanabi blushes and thought, about that, it is also my first time, Chikai Uno.

I think it is a bit impossible for Hanabi not to meet with Chikai in school and it must be really fate for them to meet each other. I mean, either that or the students in their school are not that many. ^^; It does seem like a love story between a playboy and a girl who hates boys. Chikai is starting to get her to ‘not freak out’ too much at him but then, it seems that Chikai is a bit irritated by such a reaction..well, Hanabi acts like he has a disease or something. Lol Since the other boys know about her ‘disease’, she might be a target for bullying but since this is a comedy, I doubt that will happen. Amusingly, Chikai also has three friends. =P

Oh my..I’m so excited about Vampire Knight [c. 34] so I just had to say what happened in it before the rest are uploaded. Major things had actually happened. The title is Bloody World. A maid wakes up Rima but she doesn’t want to until she heard Senri calls out to him. She looks up to see Senri with Ichijou. Senri greets her and I think she realizes it isn’t Senri because she looks shock. Ichijou even has to pull Senri away from her. Aidou and Kain are talking as Aidou is in deep thought. I think they knew that something bad is up. They look up to the room. In that room, Senri with Ichijou meets with Kaname who was looking out the window. Senri is telling Kaname about last ten years ago – pain – going/taking something. In Yuuki’s room, Yuuki is sitting at the corner of her bed but she sees blood splattered all over the room. It is only in her mind because if the scene is from Zero’s point of view, there are no blood. Zero tries to ask if her head is okay to his surprise, Yuuki jumps on him and tries to strangle him. Zero closes his eyes and Yuuki snaps out of it. They have a lengthy talk and something about the past – getting bitten and become a vampire by Kaname. Yuuki then smiles and says she is alright or something as she pushes Zero out the room. Alone, she still sees the bloody room while Zero is worried.

Back to Senri and Kaname, Senri talks about ten years ago – life of a pureblood – thanks to – agree to marry – someone’s mother – forever waiting. [Those are the kanji that I can read] Kaname answers with –mutual love, peace, kill, etc. Kaname uses his power to make the floor shape into a serpent and tries to attack Senri but Ichijou shields Senri. He tells Kaname that the real Senri will get hurt. After they talk, Senri replies with something about nightmare. Kaname quickly leaves and arrives at Yuuki’s room. He hugs her and says something. When Zero opens the door, he finds Kaname carrying Yuuki out the window. In some ledge of a building, Yuuki looks at the snow and says about a bloody world, tears, etc. The last scene is Kaname biting into Yuuki. Haha, that was a surprise. So, it does seem that it will be Kaname x Yuuki since it is like them against everyone else. Oh ya, it seems that VK will be made into an anime! ^_^ Mm..is that good news or not?

Nothing much happened in Skip Beat! [c. 114] again. Kura is showing the video to Julie. He then tells her what happened before he left. Kyouko is talking like Kuon, I guess but it seems that Kura is addressing Ren who is behind her. In the end, Ren was really grateful that he even bows to him in respect though it seems no one saw it for they are all focused on Kyouko-Kura. The last scene are more talking of Kyouko with Kanae and Ren with Lory. Ouran High Host Club is indeed a side story about Kuze and his girlfriend. I feel sorry for Kuze since his girlfriend has a knack for teasing him with ‘surprise’ gifts. Lol

In Penguin Revolution [c. 34], Ayaori is being gloomy inside a room while Ryou is training hard. Later on, Ayaori met with the president. More practice then Yukari made some onigiri for Ayaori. That night, the three – Yukari, Ryou and Ayaori have some fun in the beach. In the ship, the play is about the start. It seemed that Ayaori is locking himself in a room is part of his training as some lonely, angry king. As the play progress, Youko makes her appearance. The blurb at the end says that the next chapter will be the last chapter = finale. I guess this series isn’t that popular just based on the calendar that is given out by Lala for this issue. Haha, the other two that I don’t summarize is La Corda and Kaicho ha Maid-sama. Sigh, nice art but I can’t get into those two series. For those reading maid-sama, in chap. 21, it seems that the guy is a rich guy while La Corda chp. 44 is the lead girl is going to play her violin in a concert..well, the past few chapters I saw are mostly each of the cast member playing. Anyway, this are the pictures in the calendar, in case, you have Lala sold in your place and you are interested in it to buy it. Hehe, do I sound like a salesperson for Lala? (￣▽￣);;

Chae-kyung is shock over what Shin’s mother asked her to do but seeing that even Shin’s mother is shaking and uneasy, Chae-kyung realizes that she isn’t joking. Chae-kyung tries to plead for her not to make her divorce Shin - she will do everything but that. Shin’s mother hugs her and apologizes for she doesn’t want to do this either since she knows that Chae-kyung loves Shin but then knowing that, she has no choice but to make Chae-kyung divorce Shin. Chae-kyung cries not to treat her that way and make her leave the place. In order for her not to be moved by Chae-kyung’s emotions, Shin’s mother quickly left Chae-kyung crying. Shin’s mother is feeling weak over what she did when she sees Yul. They talk. Shin’s mother slaps Yul and says something about she can imagine his mother doing this but never imagined that he would do this. There is a scene wherein they used to be close to each other when Yul doesn’t want to leave the palace. Yul says he is doing it for Chae-kyung and to save the palace. Bottomline is Yul wants an ending that suits him and has meaning and that is a ‘tears of blood’ ending.

In the hospital, Chae-kyung is on IV as she remembers that her mother also came to the palace to force her to divorce Shin. In the end, she decided that she will divorce him. Shin goes to the hospital to find both mothers there. The two mother tell him that Chae-kyung doesn’t want to see him and he should leave. Shin shouts at the door for her to open it and is this all about not telling her about her grandpa’s sick condition before. Shin exclaims that he only wants to see how she is doing. Chae-kyung would only shiver and cover her ears with her hands, pretending that she hears nothing, sees nothing, feels, nothing – this is all a dream. Shin calls Hyo-rin for some advice and he realizes that it has been a long time since he has seen Chae-kyung smiling. Shin is then called by his mother and grandmother. They dropped it on him that Chae-kyung will be divorcing him. Yul visits Chae-kyung at the hospital. Chae-kyung tells him that this must be karma for she had hurt her and he won’t do such a thing to her. Yul must have felt guilty as he hugs Chae-kyung and apologizes. Chae-kyung asks what is he apologizing for. Cue in Shin to see them as Shin asks why is she doing this to him. After Yul left, Shin asks what is this all about the divorce, it is just because about her grandpa that she is still angry over it. Shin tells her that he doesn’t want to lose her so he will not divorce her so she should also decline. He begs her to promise him. Chae-kyung just says something about the divorce papers having a signature. Shin realizes something and says he understands. He leaves and later on, Chae-kyung is in anguish over it.

Yul and fiancé are doing some sort of community service by helping pick some strawberries. She then takes an opportunity to stole a kiss from him. Yul freaks out and she lectures him a bit about if one sees the person he likes happy, he will also be happy. The perverted man appears and ruckus happens that Yul leaves with the others. There will be a party at night. Shin is thinking over the divorce as to why everyone wants it. He is then informed that Chae-kyung is waiting for him, she came back to the palace from the hospital but he tells her to go ahead. Chae-kyung is disappointed that Shin doesn’t want to see her for she doesn’t want to end it that way else, she won’t be able to forgive herself. Someone then informs the news to Yul’s mother who is very thrilled and happy to hear it. Shin came late as they went to the party. Chae-kyung tries to talk to Shin but Shin keeps on avoiding her. Chae-kyung manages to talk to him when he is alone but Shin is in the mood as he tells her some insulting things like she’ll get lots of money from the divorce. This made Chae-kyung in the verge of tears as she shouts that he is a jerk and he shouldn’t treat her that way either. Because of the commotion, Shin’s mother suggests that Chae-kyung to be brought back to the Palace. Shin says that is his duty so he will do it. Shin helps Chae-kyung up to her feet and walks her out.

While walking at the hallway, Shin pushes Chae-kyung to the wall and angrily shouts what is with that outburst and says that he is already tired of playing around so he will quickly sign the divorce papers and send them to her lawyer tomorrow. Shin tells her that if she has anything else to tell him, she should say it now for tomorrow will be too late. He says that he knows that there is another reason other than that of her grandpa’s, tell him and he will be able to help her. Chae-kyung holds his face and says, honestly, Shin this is what I want. She looks as if she is in the verge of tears when they were interrupted by Shin’s mother. She tells them that it is cold there so she will accompany Chae-kyung to the car. Shin grabs Chae-kyung’s hand and asks what was she saying earlier. Chae-kyung tells him that is to divorce him. Before leaving, Shin’s mother tells her that this will be their secret, she should leave and this will resolve soon, does she think that doing that will lighten her guilt feelings. This comment has made Chae-kyung awaken as she wonders what is she doing – being a crybaby for she isn’t that kind of person to listen to what others tell her to do. In the morning, after being awake the whole night, Chae-kyung decides to talk with Shin about it. She prepares to go out but learns that it is too late, the divorce papers were already sent.

Shin and Chae-kyung goes to some ceremonial New Year greeting while Yul’s fiancé whines about not being there, too and tells of her past about not having any friends. Yul left as she is happy that her plan to make him like her is working – to make herself pitiful to soften his heart to him. She then fights with the perverted old man who overhears her. That night, Chae-kyung is talking with her mother about Yul managing to fix the dress in time for the ceremony. Her mother tries to tell her about Yul whom she suspects to have caused everything but they were interrupted by some noise on the window. Chae-kyung opens the window and realizes that it was snowing. She is then hit by a snow ball. She angrily shouts who is it. It is Shin. Chae-kyung laughs and asks why is he doing such an embarrassing thing. Shin makes another snowball and hits Chae-kyung’s right shoulder. This made her mad that she shouts if he is making fun of her. Running on the snow on her barefeet, she shouts for him not to run away else he is dead meat. She pushes him and to her surprise, she falls with him on the ground.

With no reaction, Shin says that there is surely a different reason other than about her grandpa. He wants to support her until the end whether she hates her or not, whether she wants to see him or not, he will not sign the papers and she can’t do anything about it. This is what I thought of doing but if that is really the case, for you are becoming more tired everyday and seeing you losing your strength, I decided that this can no longer continue for I’m afraid you might die so I quickly signed the papers. If I want to know the true reason why you want the divorce and you let me know it, would you be more exhausted? Chae-kyung nods her head. If you want to divorce me and you left this place, would you be more happier than now? Chae-kyung starts to cry and nods her head. Shin says, that’s okay, I already know. He hugs her as she cries and they both lie on the snowy ground. But remember this, I will surely investigate the reason why you did this to me, and also, I will surely come and get you back.

Well, the divorce is finally done with. I wonder what the two will do to Yul when they learned that he is the cause of the forced divorce. I’m sure Yul’s mother will take advantage of the recent happenings to make her son become the king. Back to the couple, I think separating for a while will do good for the two. Shin can freely move and do the things he needs to do in the palace without having to always worry about Chae-kyung. For Chae-kyung, she can reflect more on what she wants to do and to stop others from using her. She has become a crying wreck with all that has been happening and the pressures. If this is like any Korean drama, I think it will work out the second time around, after the external sources of the problem is solved and as Shin promised, he will get her back.
