I just came home from early church service today as my Father’s day gift to my dad. Hehehe I got introduced to the people there and unfortunately because of my bad memory with people, I don’t think I would remember them – connecting names to faces. I am a bit of a ‘celebrity’ there since they did prayed for my recovery before and has been praying for me ever since. I’m just not used to the being the attention that I rarely go there.
In One Piece [371], Luffy was looking out and saw a train in front of them. One of Franky’s guys said that it is only two carriages with no engine. Everyone was scared for they will crash into the train but Luffy just asked Zoro to chop it and chop he did.
Then, they saw T-bone standing on the tracks. Zoro fought with him but then, it is pretty one-sided for T-bone didn’t stand a chance against Zoro. Everyone is getting excited for it means that they are about to catch up with Sanji and the others.
A new character is introduced in Bleach [183]. The chapter starts with mangled Kon getting angry with Ichigo for his stuffed toy body is ruined. Ichigo promised that he would get Ishida to fix him up. Then, he saw the charm that his father gave him and returned it to him. His father doesn’t want it anymore and sewed? it on Ichigo’s shirt. It was then Ichigo realized that his father lied that the charm was his mother’s.
At school, Keigo noticed that Ichigo, Ishida, Chad and Inoue has became close during the summer. Tatsuki then asked about Ichigo’s amulet which surprised Ichigo for Ukitake told him that ordinary human wasn’t suppose to see it. Then, their teacher came to check on attendance. As Ichigo was thinking if the ‘shield’ on the amulet is broke, the amulet went off ringing ‘Hollow!’ Ichigo then realized that ordinary humans couldn’t hear it. He took the opportunity to go out to the toilet as the teacher was looking for the new student. Soon, Chad and Inoue gave the same excuse and went out. Ishida stayed on while Tatsuki looks out the window and saw Ichigo running out in shinigami costume..she was surprised.
Outside, Ichigo easily ‘killed’ of the hollow as he told Chad and Inoue that they shouldn’t have come for he can deal with it himself. Then, he asks where Ishida was. Inoue then told him that Ishida isn’t doing well for something has happened while in Soul Society though Ishida doesn’t want them to know. Ichigo then told her not to tell them if Ishida doesn’t want them to know. Ichigo gave his word to pretend that nothing is wrong. As the three chats, someone is observing them from above – the new transfer student? It was noted by others that this new character was in the first chapter of Bleach as in the first color spread.
SB! [70] was not that eventful except for the last scene. ^_^ Anyway, Ren wonders why he felt hurt when Kyouko mentioned about her character is going to be relatives with Ren. Ren pretend to be surprised because of some other reason. Then, he pretends to faint and that gave way for Kyouko to bring him to his room. Kyouko was thinking that before she was very surprised upon seeing Ren’s huge bed but since she is role-playing, she shouldn’t be surprised for her character is used to be rich. It was then Kyouko realized that unlike her, Ren has thought of the role in its entirely that he deliberately messed up his bedroom to pretend that he was sick.
Kyouko was very shock by this fact and was in tears that she excused that as her character realized that she doesn’t know how to cook the broth she was suppose to make for him to test if he is well enough to eat. As Kyouko left the room, she was wondering how could Ren has easily accepted that reason of not knowing how to cook. Back at the bedroom, Ren couldn’t believe that he is ‘weak’ for he is quickly falling for Kyouko than he expected though he knew of the consequences since he did invite her. Kyouko held his hand to help him up during his pretend faint and then, Kyouko crying that he almost wanted to hug her but quickly send her away by accepting her not knowing how to cook excuse.
As Ren torment over his ‘weakness’, he heard loud crashing of things falling down. He quickly went to the kitchen to see Kyouko standing on a box on a chair as she reaches for the pots. Kyouko said that she doesn’t want to ask for help since she did told Ren’s character to take some rest and know she is in a predicament. Kyouko was clinging on the cabinet as she thought that she forgot that the cabinet is pulled down. Ren tried to help her by pushing the cabinet up so that Kyouko could stand properly but Kyouko’s hand slipped. Kyouko imagined her self falling and ‘killing’ herself but as she braced for pain, she didn’t feel it and when she opened her eyes, she realized that Ren was shielded her from the fall. Hehehe..the blurb at the side says Ren rescued Kyouko from danger, but then, isn’t this situation more dangerous? Just when Ren thought of hugging Kyouko is a ‘crime’. ^^;

I’m pretty much entertained with the Korean drama ‘Sorry, I love you’ that I have this silly grin on my face. It has been a long time since I really got into the story and of course, Soh Ji Sup’s acting got me engrossed on it. So far, this drama has not bored me and I can only hope that they will do the ending nicely.
In the story, the swindler realized that the mentally impaired mother was his twin so the son was his nephew. He was told by the ‘grandfather’ that the mother is this famous actress, the son of the immature actor. At first, he couldn’t believe it for he thought that his mother is the type who was too poor to care for her children that they have them adopted. She turned out to be not only rich but also famous. Soon, his anger and jealousy over the care that his mother gave to the actor made him want revenge.
He got to befriend the actor and has been a bit nice to the manager who thought he went to Korea for her. ^^; Soon, he found himself falling for the manager since she is quite ‘motherly’. He did try to control himself by at times, his buttons is pushed that he would do anything drastic. The one that took planning was disguising as a rich guy lover to lure the actress to fall for him and made the actor crushed with heartbreak that he got into an accident. Unfortunately for him, this made the actor finally realize his feelings for the manager who had loved him before..but now, she has also fallen for the swindler. Anyway, the last scene I saw was the actor has a heart problem, which was unnoticed before, and worsen because of the accident. Just as I thought, the swindler might give him his heart since he is dying anyway. His condition was that the manager would stay with him until he dies.
The fun part aside from the times when the swindler was plotting and stuff, is the twist that the actress didn’t really gave her twins away for adoption. It was her mother and the ‘driver’ – the manager’s father, who had done the deed. They told the actress that they have died. I’m guessing that it was because she is just getting famous so having children at that time isn’t good or the mother didn’t like the guy. I’m assuming that the guy is somewhat related to the ‘grandfather’. My mother doesn’t watch this with me since she found the characters are bit ‘weird’ so I have to depend on my own reading those Chinese subtitles which at times are simplified.
I think last Thursday’s episode of Trinity Blood was a filler. I guess they are not really going to dwell on what’s the deal with Abel and Esther. The episodes are pretty much episodic now as in no connection with the previous episodes. Abel and this other guy were investigating this place where children has wings. In the end, with lots of talk and begging, they spared the leader and send them to ship after destroying some structures, which I think has something to do with their wings.
Just this afternoon, a batchmate from high school called. She is the one who tends to ask me if I’m going to certain parties in the group and news on stuff. Okay, she is actually the only informant of this group I used to hang out with in high school. Let’s call her F, in case, next time, I will be mentioning her again. Anyway, F is asking me if I would go to this wedding tomorrow of a friend’s. I told her that I don’t know of her wedding and since I don’t get any invitation or any calls from the ‘soon-to-be’ bride, I’m not invited. F then tried to cover up by saying that it is okay for me to go since ‘whoever’ said that I’m invited. I guess she was also surprised that I wasn’t invited. I let it sink in that I don’t know of the wedding and knew it only now when she asked about it. Anyway, it is no big deal for me and was a bit amused that she asked and haven’t check if I was indeed invited or not. Hehehe

When my father came back last night, he brought a parcel from Unicorn. Arigato, Unicorn! The shirt is a bit long though it fits on the shoulders. I guess the reason would be is that I’m short. ^^;; The cd is nice and interesting stickers. Later on, my mom asked who got the parcel for me. I was a bit puzzled by her question when it dawned to me. I used to get the parcels from the post office so how come this one arrived at my house. Weird. I wonder if Unicorn shipped it differently this time..like it was airmail so it is delivered to the house? Anyway, thanks again, Unicorn. ^_^
Another puzzling thing are the dvd copies of Korean drama, 1% of Anything which we borrowed from bro-in-law’s relatives. We played it and it ended back to the start. I saw that there are chapters menu. I picked one and played it assuming that what we saw will appear but what was shown was completely different. Weird. It got me wondering if we skipped something but then, the next cd’s episode is correct to where we stopped. Weird.
This drama is made in China and I’m assuming that it is bootleg. I have to struggle with the Chinese subtitles because the English subtitles are very bad that I could even understand the Chinese than the English subtitles...that bad. The story is about this rich old guy who was helped by this nice teacher in the subway. He devised a plan to get this teacher to ‘teach’ his grandson a few lesson on controlling his temper. To do this, he will give the teacher 1% of everything he owns and the grandson has to ‘marry’ her to get it back. Well something like that. ^^;;
Since I only watched the episode one, six and eight [the ones bro-in-law has downloaded while the others were corrupted before], I can just assume that they made a contract to meet each other and such and who gives up will get the 1% of everything. Soon, the grandson finds himself falling for the teacher and his manners are improving. The new problem for now is that another teacher has proposed to the teacher and her family liked the teacher compared to the grandson because they believed that being rich is troublesome. Mm..I think that is quite rare in a series wherein parents don’t want their children to marry to someone rich. The story is okay and the cast. I like the pictures they had on the cover. Hehehe
I took a peak on Sorry, I love you. I asked for this title because the lead actor won an award for his role here and the reviews say it is okay even though it is tragic. The story is about this Korean guy who was a bum/swindler in Australia. He then found out that his ‘wife’ is going to marry this rich mafia-type of guy. At that time, there is this film crew shooting there. The manager of this actor likes the actor who likes this actress who likes flirting around with guys – thinking love is a game.
The manager decided to go back on her own to the airport and stupidly tried to hitchhike. Her stuff was stolen and she met the lead. He befriended her and drunk her and sold her. Later, he saw his friend shifting through her luggage for they were the ones who swindled her. He had a change of heart and decided to help the girl escape. He returned her stuff and left. He then went to his ‘wife’s wedding only to save her and her husband from this assassin. To bad for him, of the two bullets that hit his head, one can’t be removed and the doctor said that since it is at the left hemisphere, his personality might change and well, the bad news is that he wouldn’t live long. ^^;
As gratitude, his ‘wife’ and her husband gave him some money and clothes so he can return to Korea. As she said, it is better to die in one’s own homeland rather than in a foreign land like a dog. So, he did go to Korea and guest in a show to find his mother who had him adopted. The clue he had right now is a mother and a kid. The mother has this ring necklace just like he has and it was a pair for at the back of each the ring the words ‘Together – Forever’ was written. That is for 1 episode and 3/4. So, a lot has happened and I find it interesting.
In D. Grayman, Allen and Rinali tried to snap Soman out of it and they saw the young Chinese girl in him. Allen pulled her out but he got sucked in. Rinali took the girl to safety. Inside, Allen got flashbacks of Soman’s and learned why he has fallen to the fault. It was because Soman tried to run away from fighting and asked for mercy thus he betrayed the Innocence and it is trying to kill him. Allen tried to stop the Innocence but got rejected out. He tried pulling Soman out but he shouted about hating everything and wants to destroy. Soman then heads for the village. That’s it for two chapters.
Getbackers is getting interesting again. Ban and Ginji heads upward. Paul was prepared to die but Hevn and Akabane came and took him with them. The interesting part is when Makubex and Emishi are in deep trouble, Miroku came to their rescue. It did got me thinking who is Miroku and after searching, he was the enemy in the Venus de Milo arc. So, everyone is going to this last arc and maybe it will be explained what their past with Ban was. Hehehe

I had been wanting to color this editorial picture from Phil Star regarding the frequent causes of bus accidents. At the time (I think a few months ago), this was drawn. A certain bus had fallen over a cliff and many were killed. I don’t think they had said what had caused it though either it was the driver or the bus is defective. After that, just the other day, there is another bus accident. The driver seemed to be drunk that he didn’t break and hit a jeepney and mowed over a few bystanders. The driver has escaped. So, here is the picture.
Just this weekend, I even heard a gag on it. Before: If you want to commit suicide, go in front of a running bus. Now: If you want to commit suicide, ride on a bus. ^^;; Anyway, the government is now busy trying to keep the president being oust and I even read that since the police are focusing on this that they can’t still know who the guy who shot this tv director among others in a bar with that many witnesses.
My mom is getting tired of the old formula of Korean dramas of fighting over a man/woman that I’m surprised that she like Taste Sweet Love. I only have 8 episodes for my bro-in-law doesn’t want to download the others for the connection is very slow. I did got him to download the last one. ^_^ The story is about this not so pretty but strong girl who has a guy best friend whom she is in love with but is too shy to confess. The guy is actually a bit weird for his taste in woman is pretty different. He finds this lying and fake girl ‘cute’. ^^; Even if he knew she tricked him to marrying her, he is okay with that.
So, the girl finally let go by episode 8. I’m thinking that the last 8 will be focused on how she found the love of her life and I’m pretty sure it is the guy’s younger brother. In any love stories, isn’t the guy who gets the first kiss always ends up with the girl? ^_^ The younger brother stays with her in the house for he doesn’t want to go home. He is more like of a ‘bad’ boy but then, he is the one there for her when she is down. There is a girl after him though who treats the lead as her ‘sister’. Anyway, this story is pretty much like a shoujo manga and the younger brother is cute. Hehehe
I was going to watch this Korean drama Nine Tailed Fox which reminded me of Naruto because of the title. Anyway, the story is about a certain race, Nine tailed fox clan who eats human livers and somewhat wants to control the human race or something. A cop was investigating them and he seemed to be involved with the lead girl here who was of the clan. It looked cute with those fighting scenes but then, while sis and bro-in-law was here, they watched the last episode. I was thinking of not watching for I would watch it later on but they told me that the ending wasn’t that good. It was a total massacre with only the cop living. Great, it is like X movie ending. So, I didn’t watch it. Interesting enough, I recognized the lead as the stepsister in Stairway to Heaven. Now that is rare, it is because of her big wide eyes that I knew her. Hehehe
In FMA, Hawkeye helped Ling escaped with Gluttony and as they drove by, Bradley saw them. Ling asked her to pick up Lan Fan. Ed and Al tried to get Scar but Scar was rescued by Mei and her panda. Mei stopped Scar’s bleeding from the bullet that Hawkeye fired. Scar was thinking of what his sensei said. As they were about to hide, Mei realized that her panda is missing. It was with Al. Ed wanted him to throw it away but Al wanted to keep it. They found Winry talking with Bradley. After Bradley left, they told Winry what they knew about her parents.
At the hotel, Winry has a call from Garfiel asking her to come back since they are swamped with repairs so Winry heads back to Rush Valley. Before she leaves, Ed told her that next time when she cries, it will be for happiness for by that time, they will have normal bodies. As the train left, Winry realized that she has fallen for Ed. Then, Roy fetched them. They got a doctor for Lan Fan who wanted to have an automail just like Ed’s. Ling then told them that Bradley is a homoculus. Later on, Roy, Ling and Ed were arguing who will get the philosopher’s stone in Gluttony when Gluttony heard of Roy’s name. It started to change as it remembered that Roy was the one who killed Lust. I have a bad feeling about Bradley knowing Winry though for they might use her as bait. Anyway, I wonder if Gluttony will die along with someone else there. I try not to get attached for this author can kill of her characters.

I watched Nasu: Summer in Andalusia last night. It is okay and it seemed to be like an art film to me. It is the story about Pepe who is in a bicycle race as he tries to forget that it is also the day when his brother is going to marry the girl he loves. The race is okay though I don’t quite get into it except for the last few scenes. In the end, of course, he wins and has moved on over his bitter defeat – losing the girl he loves. I was quite surprised that this is only an hour movie and well since Madhouse animated this, the animation is really nice and consistent.
Bleach has a nice color spread even though it is only 1/3 of two pages. I guess it is the author’s version of Men in Black. ^_^ I like. I’m guessing that the ones the author likes to put on those color spreads are his favorites. Hehehe
In the story, Ichigo and the others had just arrived back into the human world. They were fetched by Urahara and his group. Upon return, Urahara apologized to Ichigo for not telling him the truth. Ichigo elbowed him when Urahara confessed that he didn’t tell him since he thought that Ichigo would ran away if he knew. Ichigo told him to apologize to Rukia when they meet. Ishida then asked what Ukitake gave him. It is somewhat like a medallion with a hollow looking face on it. Ichigo said that it is to make him an ‘acting’ shinigami. Ishida seemed to have thought something about it. Then, he got down for they are already near his house.
The others then went back to their homes. Ichigo waked Kon up who was having a ‘nice’ dream. Kon got out of Ichigo’s body with the use of the medallion. Ichigo told him that he would hear of Kon’s protest of not bringing Rukia back next time. As Ichigo lie on his bed, his father, right on time, came crashing through the door to kick Ichigo a good morning. Ichigo is satisfied that he is home sweet home as he fought against his father and his siblings shouting all around.

Today is Independence Day. I heard there will be two factions of rally today of those who want the president to resign and those who support her. I don’t know if that will push through for the president just made tomorrow a holiday too. It is somewhat like an extension of a holiday much like for All Saint’s Day and Christmas.
I watched last night the English dub of Tokyo Godfathers. Mm..I guess it is only at a certain part where I don’t understand regarding the supposed mother of the baby. It had just dawned to me that in the end, no wonder the parents aren’t the same. ^^; While watching I was finishing this cover for my niece’s kind of ‘how to draw’ book. Mom had it photocopied and told me since I love to draw; I ought to draw a cover for it. I finally finished it today. ^_^
I found the title of Kaori Yuki’s new series. It is Fairy Cube. The first chapter had me almost not to not want to download anymore since I couldn’t understand much of it. I did found a site on it so I continued the others. The story is about a boy whose mother was supposed to be a fairy and then there is this ‘evil’ spirit following him. He seemed to be fascinated with fairies along with this girl. He also saw this mysterious guy with a doll. Anyway, by the end of the chapter the ‘evil’ spirit made his father kill him. At the second chapter, he was floating around, angered that the ‘evil’ spirit is in his body and he came to the mysterious guy’s shop and got teleported. Well, the second chapter is more understandable than the first one. I’ll finish downloading to chapter 5 before reading it all carefully.
In One Piece, Robin was surprised that they came for her and reprimanded Soge King about it. They were shouting at each other that it got the attention of one of the marine. It seemed that Robin sat right on Usopp or rather Usopp was in Robin’s robe that Robin’s hand actions were Usopp’s as the marine was still thinking that there is something different about her. ^^;; Meanwhile, Sanji is getting beaten up by noodle/ramen guy as he kept on trapping Sanji’s leg into his noodle body. Suddenly, noodle guy’s noodles were cut. Sanji said that it was his policy not to use kitchen knives nor his hands when fighting but since he is in a kitchen and his enemy is ‘food’ that means, he isn’t violating his policy.
On top of the train, Franky and Nero, weasel/cat looking guy are fighting and they are pretty much an equal match as they shouted what kind of being are they for they were able to ‘negate’ each others attacks. Only twenty minutes left before they are at the Marine Headquarters.

I made a boo-boo last night due to carelessness. I had accidentally used the isp that was suppose to be just for sending emails and pretty much used the time allotted for the month, all up. Stupid. Now, I have to answer mails online. It has been a long time since I had made this mistake. Sigh, I was just engrossed in downloading that I totally forgot to disconnect after sending some mails.
I’m thinking of buying a few more ram for some programs are starting really slow than usual. I do have to ask if I do buy some ram would I still be able to use them by the time I upgrade or not. If not, then I would just have to bear with it then.
I am downloading Kaori Yuki’s new series..ah, Evil spirit? Okay, that is the name that Chinese site gave but I couldn’t find on the net what it was about. I have not finished downloading the first chapter. I’m just checking it out if I’ll like it or not. A new chapter of Vampire Knight is out. The translator still uses simplified Chinese to make it complicated for me. ^^;
During horse riding class, Yuuki had fallen asleep and dreamt about the time a vampire attacked her. Her friend woke her up for it is already her turn to ride on the horse. The white horse suddenly went berserk and ran away. Zero who just woke up from his nap, managed to calm it down. Yuuki apologized for the horse has never done that before. Zero said that it is because it has sense something. In the night dorm, a new character was talking with Kuran. He said that the horse has ‘sensed’ him and they talked a bit about Yuuki and before the other guy left, Kuran seemed to want to ask a favor.
Yuuki managed to get time off and leave the Academy and she dragged Zero with him to do some shopping. Then, Yuuki wanted to buy him a shirt as she gleefully told Zero that she somewhat thinks of him as her younger brother. Zero told her that the truth is he is older than her. Yuuki is somewhat happy that Zero managed to still be himself. They were having a snack or rather Yuuki was having a dessert in a café. Zero told her not to go out alone as Yuuki insisted that she isn’t afraid anymore regarding what happened before. Yuuki complains that she doesn’t know anything about Zero then Zero told her that he has a younger brother who died that day.
Then, the waitress interrupted them to ask if Zero is from the night class of Cross Academy because he has a different aura like those in the night class. This doesn’t make Zero happy that he told Yuuki that he will wait for her outside. When Yuuki came out, she couldn’t find Zero so she walked around calling out for him. Then, she had scratched herself on a metal structure. Before long, a vampire attacked her and she managed to stop him by shielding herself with her staff. The vampire told her that her blood smells yummy. Yuuki froze and just in time, Zero came to help her.
Then, they heard people wanting to go there so Zero said that they cannot let the people see the vampire. Zero then saw a mark on the vampire’s forehead just like the one on his neck so he asked if the vampire was human. It said “yes, so what”, as it jumps up to attack. Suddenly, the vampire was sliced into half by the guy who was with Kuran earlier. Oh..he used a katana. He was with another guy who sighs that he wasn’t needed. They turned out to be upperclassmen/sempai from the night class. I don’t know how to read their names so until I know them, they will be katana guy and bored guy. ^^;; Yuuki asked them why they were there. Katana guy told them that they shouldn’t go out and doing this kind of thing. They should hurry up and return to the academy because ah..I’m not sure but it is something about they could be smelled. I guess they could mean Yuuki who is now holding tight to her wound. The last words were, as usual, I don’t know anything.

Sigh, I have to type this again when my computer suddenly froze. ^^; Well, I almost thought I wasn’t reached Nii in time because sis was caught in traffic after a road was closed due to a rally. Since sis asked someone to sign my name on the list, we don’t have to wait too long. ^_^ Nii said that the kidney is not really rejecting for the crea should have gone much higher and it could be this medicine that became toxic after being used such a long time. He plans to decrease it and increase the new drug. After that we went to the Chinese doctor since my mom thinks that I’m ‘weakening’ again and it has been around 4 months since I went there.
In Trinity Blood, the main characters are not here that it seemed like a side story. After a brief scene in the Vatican, there was this nun walking at night and a vampire wanted to her to climb into his carriage. She was saved by this mysterious blond guy with a long metal rod. She woke up at the church and saw her mysterious savior. Later on, she got caught again and the blond guy was forced to surrender. A vampire got the nun into a mind-reading machine and seemed to be unsatisfied with the ‘results’ so he brought her to a stadium where blond guy is going to fight against a giant black wolf.
Of course, at first, the blond guy is losing so the nun quickly grabbed his metal rod and toss it to him. The vampire got angry and stabbed the nun. The blond guy saw her being stabbed and well, he easily killed off the wolf and it turned out his rod is a sword. Slice and dice, he killed all of the vampires watching. The last scene, the nun walked up in the hospital. I’m wondering if this blond guy is related to Abel but then, maybe not.

The results of the blood test the other day wasn’t that good. I am off .2 points from the borderline. I wonder if it is because of the other med level, which is a bit low than usual. Anyway, I was supposed to go to Nii today but luckily enough, we called first. It turned out that he was out for the whole week either for a seminar or on vacation. He will be back tomorrow so I’ll go visit him tomorrow.
I think I’m nearing the end of SMT:Nocturne and curiously enough, I defeated two bosses easily. ^^; I think I would have to beat at around 2-3 more bosses and this game would be finish. ^_^ I completed the side quests. The next game I will play would be MGS2. It seemed that part 4 would be on PS3. I better start saving money for PS3. I downloaded a demo clip of FF7 opening on PS3 where the characters are in cg form instead of chibi. Really nice. ^_^
I have watched an episode of Erementar Gerad. It somewhat reminded me of Outlaw Starr. A pirate ship has just stolen a special coffin. Coud, one of its members, managed to open it and inside, is a girl. Instead of being a pilot on some mysterious ship, here, she is a weapon that can merge with a person she ‘likes’ and obviously, it is Coud. I will watch a few more before deciding if I will continue for it seems the girl is a damsel in distress in a few episodes and from summaries of the manga, it isn’t that interesting. ^^;
I have downloaded the earlier chapters of Gintama. It is interesting...the way the author writes his titles. I find it amusing like “There is no evil in those with natural perm”, “Owners should take care of their pets until the end”, “Be aware that Jump magazine may come out on Saturday”. The stories is pretty much the adventures of Gin, Shin and Kagura’s mis-adventures as they live in a somewhat futuristic world set in Meji era or the one Rurouni Kenshin is set in. Samurais has ceased to be ‘useful’ as aliens/foreigners are ‘invading’ Japan. Then, there is the police – Shinsengumi and some ‘terrorists’ who wanted to drive the aliens away.
In our country, aside from the illegal gambling issue, the government then released this supposedly wiretapping of the president regarding election which could be on how she cheated since they say it is already tampered with. I still wonder why they are releasing something that will incriminate them into a crime. I guess they wanted the wiretapping to be the issue but it turned out of course, the election fraud has become the issue. Now, they are denying that it was the president’s voice and that it is the spokesperson’s entire fault for releasing it. Again, where this will lead to, who knows?

I went to have my blood work yesterday morning. I’m still a bit sleepy from the shock of waking up that early. ^^; After that, the bro’s driver was suppose to bring us back home but since sis is going to our place, I let bro’s driver return to him. My mother commuted home since she though that it would take a long time for her to go home if she went with us to LTO [Land and Transportation Office].
Sis just told us that she is going to just have her picture taken and it is finished. Later, she told me that it seemed that the LTO has lost her papers when she applied for renewal of her driving license and well, the one in charge has already quit/resigned. They wouldn’t grant an extension of her temporary license though the consolation is that she doesn’t have to line up again for it. So, I accompanied her in getting the application and after getting her picture, she was told to wait at around 12 noon for it to be processed. We cannot leave since they are holding her temporary license and it would be a hassle if caught driving without license.
And so, we wait. When it was already 12 noon, we were told to wait after lunch time – that will be at around 1pm, since the ‘captain’ has to sign it. He said that at least if we waited, we won’t have to come back again. We ate a light snack since the nearest mall [SM Sta Mesa] is quite far away. Upon returning, we learned that they will not give sis her card license since it has to be processed to the main office. Before, the guy suggested that sis take it there for fast process but now, it seemed that in a paper there are two applications or something that they should be the one who have it done. In the end, after waiting for about 3 hours, they finally just extended sis’ temporary license and told her to return after a month to get it. ^^;;;
I watched Tokyo Godfathers in Jap dub at wowow last Sunday. It is about the journey of three homeless people who found a baby in the dump and with a few pictures, they decided to search for its parents. Along the way, they experience a few ‘miracles’ that somewhat re-united them with their families. The baby must be some miracle baby and in the end, all things end up okay. This is a nice feel-good movie and a bit of look on homeless people – why they end up there and how others tend to treat them. I like the ending song for it is one of my fave classical music. The song is based on Beethoven’s Symphony no. 9. ^_^ This weekend, Animax will show this in either eng dub/sub so I’ll probably watch it again to understand some scenes better.

I watched a Korean movie last night. The title is Ditto and it is something a bit like The Mailbox or Il Mare. The girl lives in the past (1977) while the boy lives in the future (2000). Because of the age gap, I doubt that it is a love story and maybe the girl was to be his mother. They first communicated with each other through a ham radio. After a certain time, the two came to accept and believe that the other is living in a different time.
She told him about her crush and that she just signed his arm cast. When she mentioned it, he told her that it was like his parents love story. Oh yeah, he remembered, they both studied in the same university. Here is where I’m wrong. The guy then told her his parents’ name. The girl was crushed because the father was her crush and the mother was her best friend who was in the same hospital where the crush was.
As events kept on coming true as what the guy has told her will happen in the future, she has finally succumbed to fate for her crush will never be hers. And if he did, what would happen to the boy she talks with? – he will never exist. So, she let her crush go. It was only later on when the boy realized what he has done. He researched where the girl [never married] is currently teaching. She went there but they only exchanged looks. Finally, with a slight smile, the girl just walked off. The ending scene was the boy trying to destroy the ham radio after it stopped working – after he told the girl that he met her, but in the end, he didn’t destroy it. He just walked out of the university with his girlfriend and doing the same line as his father did to the girl – while walking, don’t you want to hold my arm?
Overall, it is okay though not really a love story. I somewhat did feel sorry for the girl who has to face the fact that the guy she loves will never be hers. I didn’t quite get the side story of the boy’s girlfriend who likes to stalk him.
In One Piece, there is colored spreadsheet of the cast posing. At the background of each character is a number according to when they joined up the crew. Usopp is named as Soge King. Hehehe Nothing much happened in this chapter. CP9 was already informed of what is happening. Lucci said that they would most probably going to rescue Robin. He told them to prioritize on capturing Franky since it would be very hard for them to rescue Robin. Meanwhile, Sanji gave the other two a chance to escape CP7 cook as he fought him off. CP7 became noodle guy. ^^;; Anyway, cook vs cook is fair I guess.
On top of the train, Franky faces off with the new CP9 recruit – cat-looking guy in cowboy wear. ^^; Franky managed to get the first hit in when he just told the guy to look at his back and when he did, Franky punched him. That’s an old trick. ^^; At the first carriage, Robin was all alone and to her surprise, she saw ‘Mr Long nose’ out of her window. Well, Usopp has enough brains to avoid the second carriage where the CP9 are the passengers. ^_^
In Bleach, Renji was about to say something to Byakuya when Ichigo and Inoue interrupted him asking where Rukia was. Renji told him that he doesn’t know. Then, they saw Rangiku who invites for a drink but they declined. Rangiku then invites Hisagi as Shunsui also came. Ichigo told Inoue that he somewhat knows where Rukia is. At the Shiba residence, Kuukaku is re-training/torturing Ganju for he wasn’t able to fight until the end. Then, Rukia appears before them. She wanted to apologized but Kuukaku told her she already knew what happened to her brother so she doesn’t need to apologize. Rukia still wanted to so she got punched once for the first time and twice when she said thanks and apologized again. ^^;;
Rukia then saw Ichigo and Inoue. Ichigo told her to rest for the next day, they will go back to the human world. Rukia then told him that she has decided to stay there. Ichigo accepted her decision. The next day, the shinigamis had opened the door back to the human world. Ukitake called out to Ichigo and gave him something. Inoue then remembered to give Rukia the dress that Ishida made. Ichigo said goodbye to Rukia as she thanked him. Ichigo thought that he should be the one saying that for it seems that the rain has stopped. Sigh, I’m going to miss those shinigamis. Hehehe

In Skip beat(69), Ren and Kyouko started their practice acting. Kyouko immediately got a NG/blooper when she wasn’t thinking of the set-up. I find them cute fighing over the door. Kyouko was filled with excitement since she got to act with Ren. The scene was Kyouko was visiting a teacher whom she likes but doesn’t want to make a scandal. She managed to get Ren to answer the door and just when he is about the close the door on her again. Kyouko got frustrated that he won’t let her in his house where the scene is suppose to take place. She decided to put her foot on the door thus injuring herself but she got Ren to bring her in.
Kyouko was very happy with herself as Ren was pretty worried and amused at what she did. Ren then acted that Kyouko has to leave after her wound is being treated. Kyouko got desperate again for Ren is still trying to make her leave. She tried to blackmailing him of not getting herself treated if he is going to kick her out. Ren then told her if she doesn’t want to be treated, she can leave. He pushed her out of the house while she is screaming! ^^;;
Kyouko then shouted that it hurts that she can’t go home without being treated so Ren stopped pushing her. Kyouko then told him about not treating her as a student but as a relative instead since he is going to be married to her cousin. Ren was quite surprised with her answer as his heart beats..though it is of pain. It ended there. There are speculations that it is of pain because Kyouko could be really a relative of Ren in real life.

The site with the Peach girl drama schedule must be old for I waited and what was shown was this Taiwanese comedy skit. Waiting for Trinity Blood also turned out to be futile. Stupid me, I should have read that schedule in wowow site properly. It was already past 11 and it is still the French Open. I was waiting for them to stop the interviews and that mini-tennis lesson but afterwards, it is another match. It is already 1130. They are still in 3 sets and I remembered that for guys, it is 5 sets. No use waiting for it. Today, I checked out the site. Alas, it turned out that it was pre-empted last night. ^^;
I think Saiyuki Reload Gunlock would probably the last of the animated series of Saiyuki unless they revive Hazel. In the manga, it seemed that he has an important role. I wonder what Nii wanted from him though interesting enough, they know each other. Nii must have been pretty well-traveled and I really think he can move from one place to another faster than anyone..well faster than Sanzou’s group. ^^; He just went back and forth from where Sanzou’s group were and back to their headquarters.
Sanzou’s group is currently resting at this town. I think I missed a great deal at a certain part for I don’t recall him having two sutras. ^^; Anyway, after all that time, Hakkai and the others asked Sanzou why their enemies are after the sutra. It seemed that bringing all of thost sutras together could bring about something ‘big’ – bad or good that the sutras are made to be scattered from each other as far as possible.
In GB, after fighting the goons, Paul gave Ban and Ginji some coffee which was drugged. ^^; He did revealed that the recipe for the yummy coffee is actually from Ban’s father who got it from Ban’s grandmother. Paul then fought off some people from Der Kaiser and was getting beaten that it made Ban and Ginji angry that they managed to ‘snap out’ of the drug. Paul is pretty pleased about it.
I just learned that this columnist whose column I always read has passed away. I knew something is wrong when he isn’t writing again lately. Before, it was because of a heart problem but now, I read that it is a lung cancer. Anyway, I would pretty much miss his criticisms on the government and wanting for a better leader to lead the country out of the mess it is in currently. Also, the son of this famous reporter has also died from a deadly kind of malaria. I thought he is going to make it since they did send him to the US to be treated and somewhat pitied the cameraman he was with who was just treated here. The cameraman has passed away earlier.
Edit: They didn't send him to the US. He was already in the US when the symptoms had started appearing. He was on vacation with his family. Silly me, he wouldn't have made that trip. ^^;
They got the sickness while going through the jungle trying to discover why a certain tribe is getting sick. It turned out to be malaria and unfortunately, they also got sick of it because they didn’t drink the medicine to prevent it. The good thing it produced though was the department of health became conscious of the disease and is now giving aid to those who were sick and on tips on how to prevent it. Another delayed reaction – as usual.

I am finally at the final dungeon in SMT:Nocturne. It took quite some time to do the labyrinth. This game has 5 endings and I’m opting for the complete game though I lean more on neutral. I don’t want a world where everyone is dead, nor a world of the strong live while the weak die nor a world of solitude. ^^;; Anyway, hopefully the ending chose is good.
In D. Gray-man, Rinali managed to get Allen out of the akuma’s way. The akumas are attacking that huge thing which used to be an exorcist. While looking at it, Rinali remembered who could it be. She told Allen about experiments in the church and that happens to exorcists when their synchronization rate with their innocence falls below zero. Mm..I wonder where that revelation is going to lead the plot.
The news here lately is on jueteng – a kind of illegal gambling based on numbers. It got many people addicted to it especially the poor while those operators are getting rich that they supposedly able to pay off the police, army and the lawyers/judges. It is somewhat of a big deal because this jueteng had caused a president to be ‘kicked out’ of the job. And for it to still flourish even after he is gone, means the present president is doing much.
This time the present president’s son and husband was somewhat hinted to be involved. Recently, one guy implicated the president’s son and his friends. Of course, they denied it and wanted to sue the guy libel. I was somewhat amused with what the president’s son said. He said that he will not go abroad anymore and wanted to clear his name. He will go to the meetings to give an ‘impression’ that he is not involved. I’m really amused with his choice of words. Hehehe...Anyway, what all of this will boil down to remains to be seen.

Well, I did miss a Trinity Blood episode last Thursday. According to their website, it was shown earlier. The next two are back on its original time.
In Bleach, Ishida has just finished sewing new clothes for the others in preparation for their return to human world. Inoue went to bring the dress to Rukia and stupidly thought that Rukia’s dress was cute because Ishida has a crush on her. Hehehe In the 11th division, Ikkaku was doing some fighting then Ichigo came to ‘play’ with him. They were interrupted by Kenpachi who wanted to challenge Ichigo. Ichigo quickly make a run for it. ^^;
Elsewhere, Komamura and Hisagi wanted to bring Tousen back to his senses. Rangiku was thinking of Gin when Kira came. They got themselves drank as they badmouth Gin. Hitsugaya visited Hinamori who is still unconscious – perhaps not wanting to live anymore after what Aizen did. Ichigo has lost Kenpachi and found Inoue looking for him. She told him that Rukia is missing. It ended there. My theory though it is pretty unlikely was that Rukia went back to the human world to beat the crap out of Urahara for putting that thing in her. Hehehe
In One Piece, in Rocketman, everyone is preparing for the battle. Nami even changed her outfit and showed the others are new weapon invented by Usopp. Meanwhile, Sanji and the others are planning how to get rid of the enemy the easy way – without fighting. Their only objective is to rescue Robin. CP9 were informed of the recent incidents. Sanji and the others managed to trick T-bone into chasing them to the last carriage. It was too late when the T-bone and the marines realized that Sanji and the others are going to separate their carriage they are in from the main train.
In the 5th carriage, they tricked the boss to come out and he fell into the water as Sanji and the others beat up the remaining ones. Sanji and Usopp learned that Franky is a cyborg so the bullets cannot hurt him. Usopp tried pricking him with a huge needle and it hurt. ^^; It seemed that his back is the normal body since he cannot fix if because he couldn’t reach it. They reached CP7 – the chef who grossly produced noodles from his nose. He then told them if they want to go to the next carriage, they have to fight him first.

Regarding Hi’s question, I surfed the net on Peach girl drama and realized that it was being shown on a Taiwanese channel that I have on cable. ^^;; I think I have even seen the title before. Hahaha..anyway, it is on every Thursday night and since I tend to open the tv only if I’m going to watch something, I haven’t seen it yet. If I remember next Thursday, I’ll see if I can watch it.
Speaking of Thursday, I didn’t get to watch Trinity Blood that night. I don’t know if it is pre-empted or was shown earlier because all I saw was the French Open. And, it is just starting so I just closed the tv. I haven’t checked on wowow site yet if indeed it was pre-empted. I’ll just check other blogs if I indeed missed it. By July 7, there is already a new anime at this timeslot. Assuming that there was a Trinity Blood episode last Thursday, I think the series will roughly have just 10 episodes.
The new anime is called Shuffle! I forgot what this is about though on July 13, Full Metal Panic 2 will be shown. Sigh, I had deliberately skipped watching the first one when it was shown on local tv because the dubbing is bad. Anyway, I might still enjoy it even though I haven’t watched the first one.
Surfing around, it was noted that Sad Sonata was the 4th installment of the Endless Love series – Korean drama. I guess my theory was correct. Hehehe though I somewhat doubt that it is the 4th installment since it should be spring – the official site before has autumn leaves. Anyway, the first one set in autumn – both lovers died. The second one, which is winter – the lovers had a happy ending. The third one, summer, was left hanging for the lovers just met again and it is up to the audience if they will be together again or not. I was assuming that the next possibility is having one of the lovers dead in the last installment. If Sad Sonata is the last one, then, my theory is correct.

It is really one of those days...I was suppose to meet with Asher tomorrow. I prepared my stuff since I will be staying at sis house. My sis is going to drive me to the meeting place. Unfortunately, my body isn’t cooperating. I got a cold bug. Bummer. My parents told me to postpone it since it might worsen if I force it tomorrow. I doubt that I will be well by tomorrow.
I guess this is one of the reasons when I always tell Asher that everything is tentative when it comes to meeting. My body would get sick out of the blue. It is more irritating if it is going abroad and I would get sick on the day of departure. ^^;; Well, that was before I got the transplant, I haven’t been abroad ever since.
I got a new batch of downloads from bro-in-law. I watched Initial D 4th stage 13-14. I find Tankumi’s races to be more exciting to look forward to than the other one. ^^;; Anyway, I don’t think the other driver [blonde] will lose. Forgot his name. ^^; The story focused on Tankumi’s friend who got dumped by the girl he likes. The new arc is on Tankumi trying to think of a way to outrace his father’s new car.
I got to see Ikkaku’s funny lucky dance in Bleach anime. He must have studied ballet. ^^; Ishida’s new bow is really pretty and cool. ^_^ Well, even if they did change some things from the manga, it is pretty nice to see some of the scenes animated.

Hehehe...I didn’t notice that it is already 20+, time to change the layout. ^^;; I’ll just move the past two entries here. I can’t believe that it totally slipped my mind.
Lately, I have been downloading Hot Gimmick Chinese scans. I still need 3 volumes. It is a bit hard since it is per page download and at times, the site is pretty slow. I had even subscribed to the ml to know what’s happening. Luckily someone posted a translations site. I’m have updated myself to the current chapter. This is a monthly series.
The story is pretty much like the usual shoujo stories. There is a girl, Hatsumi, who got blackmailed by her neighbor, Ryouki, about her buying a pregnancy kit for her sis. She was to be his ‘slave’ = practice to have sex. They never got to do it yet because of many interruptions. She is saved by her ‘prince charming’ – Azusa.
Later on, Ryouki found himself falling for Hatsumi and managed to rescue her from Azusa who turned out to be using Hatsumi for revenge against her father whom he thought his mother had an affair with. Soon, Hatsumi also found herself liking Ryouki. Another guy turned up to like Hatsumi and this is her stepbrother – adopted, Shinogu.
In recent chapters, it was revealed that it was Ryouki’s father whom Azusa’s mother had an affair with and not Hatsumi’s father. Because of this, Hatsumi broke up with Ryouki and went with Shinogu though at the latest chapter, it does seem that Ryouki and Hatsumi still have feelings for each other.
I like the character Ryouki though I’m not fond of his pervert ways. Weirdly enough, I tend to like nice guys like Shinogu but then, in this one, I find Ryouki more interesting. Or could it be because the author can draw him chibi and I found it cute. ^^;; Of course, it is also a plus that he is intelligent. He somewhat reminded me of Domyouji of Hana Yori Dango = ex-bully turned lover.
I had finally finished playing tag with Dante in SHC:Nocturne. It took me some time to strategically avoid him and get those switches flipped on. It turned out that I lack one of those candlesticks. ^^; I have to go back up. Right now, I’m going into this temple – with pyramids. I found the first hall/room there pretty interesting. I like the colors – red, black and grey for the structures. Pretty. ^-^

D. gray-man scans are also out – 2 chapters. ^_^ Allen and the others finally got a lead where General Cross was. Unfortunately, they were late for Cross has already left for Japan by sea. The mistress of a brothel decided to help them by joining them in search for Cross on her ship even if the last thing they heard was the ship Cross was riding has sunk.
Before going, Rinali called up to the headquarters to update the others of their whereabouts as River told them to come back safely. While sailing, a huge swarm of akuma came. It was going to pass them when some of the akuma noticed that they were exorcists so they started to attack the ship. Everyone bought them then the exorcist-akuma rose from the sea. It turned out to be the one that the akumas are after.
It was noted that the name Timcampy was actually a name of a jewelry – Timcampi. I checked the site. It specializes in silver jewelry. I must say that some of the cross pendants are pretty nice and I won’t be surprised if the author also based the exorcists’ cross from one of those crosses. ^_^
Surfing the net, I found Gintama to be one of those top 10 manga sold in Japan. Being curious, I checked it out. It turned out to be the one that I have been looking for before – I don’t know the title for it. I have seen it at Jump’s site. I only managed to download one chapter since the archive site is down. It is episodic so it is okay if I didn’t get the earlier chapters.
The one I got is when they are enjoying the hanami/cherry blossoms. It was pretty funny as two groups are fighting over a spot by jakenpon. In the end, it was a tie so the others shared the spot since their bosses are pretty much drunk. The art is so-so. Anyway, I’ll download the rest when it is up.

Jump scans are early this week. In One Piece, Luffy and Zoro with the help of others, managed to ‘put a hole’ into the wave that is going to crash on them while Nami filled in Sanji about Robin’s reason for leaving them. Back at the train, Usopp also knew what happened and that Robin did it for them, which included him. Franky cried and wanted to help Sanji rescue Robin but Usopp said that he won’t help since he is no longer a member of the Straw Hats. He has no face to meet up with Luffy so he left. Franky tried to call him back but Sanji said not to mind him for Usopp is being stubborn.
Inside the train, T-bone is busy ripping his clothes as bandages for the injured. The 4th and 3rd carriage ‘boss’ was informed about the escape of the hostages. Mm..the one at the 4th is a cook. Hehehe A marine noticed that a window is open so he climbed up and saw Sanji and the others. The marine was suddenly hit as Sanji and Franky looked to see who it was. It was a masked figure with a cape who announced that someone – Usopp – had told him about their rescue operation so he came to help. He is SogeKing. But wait, isn’t that Usopp with a mask and a cape? Hehehe ^_^
In Bleach, the 4th division is busy healing up the injured though Inoue was the one healing Ichigo. Byakuya then explained to Rukia why she was adopted. She turned out to be the sister of Byakuya’s deceased wife who had abandoned Rukia. It was his wife’s last request for him to find Rukia and adopt her. He was wrestling with his feelings as to whether to help Rukia or be an example to others as a noble. He was grateful that Ichigo had rescued her. The chapter and probably the arc ended with the 4th division captain and vice having a small talk about what a day it was as they drank sake.
I’m watching this Japanese drama which seemed to be based on Legally Blonde, entitled Diamond Girl. She was a socialite who cares more on her looks rather than studying while she was in Australia. She met this lawyer. They fell in love and he proposed to marry her when he got a job in Japan at a famous law firm.
While shopping for a wedding dress, the lawyer called her to tell her that he is canceling their wedding. Since he didn’t give a proper reason, she went to Japan and tried to find him. She got a secretarial job at the firm where he works. She is having a hard time since her boss is quite strict and she is not used to working. Finally, she got the reason. It was because she isn’t ‘up to his standards’ = ‘she’s stupid’ and that he has fallen for someone else.
She was devastated and wanted to quit her job but after being praised by her boss about not being stupid, she decided to stay working for him. She turned out to be a good friend of the current girlfriend of the lawyer who dumped her. It was hilarious when the girlfriend who is also a lawyer told the lead to sue the guy for not marrying her when he promised too. The guy was eavesdropping on them got all tensed up. ^^;;
Anyway, it is pretty obvious that the lead would end up with her boss who even if was strict is pretty nice. He tends to get the cases, which others don’t want to take. The reviews for this is good so I might stick with this even though the only negative comment is that the actors aren’t gorgeous enough = plain looking. ^^;;
