Nana [chapter 60]

Nana [c. 60] started with a scene of Shin getting a sms, I’m assuming from Reira to greet him a Merry Christmas. In England, Reira was playing cards by herself in Ren’s room as she told him that his phone is ringing. When Ren answered it, he was shock to hear Nana greeting him sweetly, “Hello Darling, Merry Christmas *heart*”. Reira shouted who it was as Ren quickly signs her to be quiet. Nana then asked who it was. Ren lied that everyone is playing in the room. Ren then asked why she is still up 3am. Nana told him it is morning in Japan. Ren asked if they had a phoneline at home already. Nana told him that she got a cellphone. Ren was slightly happy about this. I think Ren asked if she has become more popular as to how she got the cellphone. Nana told him that it is the same and she just asked Misato [agent/fan] to buy it for her and that if Ren misses home, he can just call her.
After the call, Reira apologizes for being troublesome. Ren told her that Nana isn’t the type to be jealous on her own and it isn’t Reira’s fault. Reira then remembered Shin calling her troublesome woman. Then, Ren asked that there is indeed a problem if a girl goes to a boy’s room in the middle of the night and why don’t she sleep in her room. Reira then said that she will after he slept. Then they talked about ramen and missed eating it. Ren then wondered if Naoki knows but Reira told him that he went out clubbing. Ren then asked about Takumi. Reira said that Takumi has been sneaking out even though he is already married. Then, they decided to call their staff to bug them to buy them some ramen. Reira then happily calls them up.
At Hachi’s house, she got a sms from Nana to say greetings to her family for Hachi is going to her family’s house while Takumi is away. Hachi apologized for not being able to go to her small concert and wishes her the best. Then, the real Misato [Nana’s half-sis] with friend came for they were chosen as special guests to Nana’s concert. At the elevator, Miu [Yasu’s gf] met with Misato/Mai [agent], I will call her Mai so that it won’t be confusing. Mai then told Miu about not going near Yasu since the fans might not be happy about it. Miu isn’t bothered by it. Mai said that it would be okay for around 10pm, Yasu would be free by then. Then while talking, Miu had called her Misato then apologized for she isn’t used to Mai yet. Mai said that it’s alright. Then, Miu told her that the other Misato Uehara is now in the party and this surprised Mai.
At the venue, all the fans are waiting for Blast’s mini concert as Misato and friend arrived and greeted the older fans as they couldn’t believe the resemblance of Misato with Nana. Back at Mai, she was really shock and asked why Misato would be there. Miu told her about picking some fans to join the concert. Misato says that she knows about that but why her. Miu said that it was because her name was the same as the one Mai used and that made everyone quickly notice her. Mai looked dismayed and Miu noticed as she asked what would happen if that kid came. Mai said it was nothing and tries to leave. Miu then told her to tell her what’s up and that she can help do something about it.
At the party, Misato wonders why the band isn’t coming out yet. The older fans told them that they can be 2-3 feet away from the band so Misato and friend quickly goes on front of the stage. In some room, Yasu’s friend and others were getting ready as Blast were waiting in their room. Then, it’s time for the concert. Misato called out to Nana and Nana noticed her and smiled at her. The concert begins as Misato blushes for Nana noticed her. During the concert, in that room, Yasu’ friend [the black haired beauty] was being asked by this guy about working there but she replied that her father has lots of money. The guy asked then if she is a rich daughter but she replied that it isn’t that kind of father. Then, he was surprised to see Miu there. She then asked why he was there. He replied that there aren’t much acting jobs lately. Miu then asked if she can go in but he stopped her saying that Gin [manager] would be angry at him. Miu insist that she isn’t that famous anyway so it’s alright. The guy then slipped that if the fans knew that the girlfriend is there, Yasu would be in trouble. Miu shouted his name as she looked at Yasu’s friend and wondered who she was. She then replied that it is alright for she already heard from Yasu about having a girlfriend for they are longtime friends. The guy then said that letting them meet would be her responsibility. She replied it’s okay for she will help in what way she can and introduced herself to Miu as the fans’ club manager.
After the concert, Misato was still in high spirits after seeing Nana while her friend is into Shin. Then, Gin came out in santa outfit to greet the fans a merry Christmas. He then told them that the band will come out later to mingle with them. In the dressing room, Nana asked the others if they saw Misato. They replied they did for she looked like Nana so it isn’t hard to find her. Then a knock on the door, it was the guy a while ago, apologized to Yasu and told him that no matter what she [Miu] wouldn’t leave and just talk to her and ask her to leave. Yasu asked what’s up. Miu said that she really doesn’t want to come but there is something important that she has to say. Miu then said that Mai told her not to let Misato get close with Nana. Yasu asked why. Miu said that no matter how much she asked her, Mai won’t say why and that Mai looked really distressed over it. She then asked Yasu if he knew why. Yasu replied no. She then noticed that Yasu is wearing the same ring as the black haired woman and smoking the type of cigarettes, then told him that she is just worried about this so she came and since they don’t want her to come, she’ll leave this things to Yasu. Yasu then said something about not knowing why she have to come. Miu then angrily told him that is not to let those two [Nana and Misato] get close to each other. She left as Yasu apologized. I think that Miu got jealous that is why she was angry.
Gin then told everyone that they will have a game wherein four things from the band members will be given away. Then, Yasu looks at Misato and remembers Miu telling him that Mai told her not to let those two get close for Misato and Nana resembles each other and they might realize. Meanwhile, a paparazzi reporter waits for Hachi going out of her apartment. She tries to greet him and wanted him to go away until he asked if she knew about Nana’s mother being still alive. This shocked Hachi for Nana had told her that her mother could have died some place. The reporter then quickly recant his question and apologizes for she doesn’t know. Hachi then remembers Nana saying that if a mother is going to abandon one’s child, it would be better if the child wasn’t born in the first place and in this world, there are a lot of those mothers. Hachi then calls back the reporter as the reporter smiles for Hachi has taken the bait, I think from the looks of it. Then, there is a scene of Nana’s mother smiling as she was given a gift with Nana’s narration about eversince her mother left her, she had tried her best to live and not to be hurt though she is an ordinary person who can also hate.
Well, things are really moving to Nana knowing that her mother is still alive and know that she is happily married and living well with her family whereas she had to bear all those hardships. It will be quite a blow on her but then, I think it will also for Misato, too if she knew for her idol’s mother who had abandoned her was actually her own mother. Somehow, I felt that the story is going to end soon and maybe that is why the anime was made. I do think Yasu must have put two and two together by then. I guess Mai is regretting using Misato’s name as her alias before. For she really didn’t expect for them to chose her and unwittingly, made Misato stand out among the fans aside from looking like Nana.

D. Grayman [chapter 81-82]

In D. Gray-man [c. 81-82], everyone was surprised that an akuma got in their headquarters then Allen noticed that the akuma is holding a butterfly and quickly thought that it was Tiki. Fou told Allen to escape but then, the akuma hit Allen with a ‘string’ and started to make him disappear. Baku came and used some spell using his blood to force the akuma out. Fou then cut the string holding Allen. Everyone was then alerted about the akuma’s invasion. Then, Baku told Fou that he would leave things to her as he sealed up the place by commanding the ground/rock to close the hole. Fou then still exhausted since the akuma passed through her, changed her appearance to look like Allen as she bid Allen to do his best and she went outside. Allen quickly realized that she will be using herself as bait for the akuma and it frustrates Allen that Baku let her out. Allen told Baku to open up the place but Baku refuses by saying that exorcists are important in a battle against the Earl so even one [Allen] is important. Allen then stops harassing Baku for he noticed that it is also hard for Baku who was crying and having rashes [a sign of uncomfortable]. Allen then decides to break it open himself.
Baku then had everyone tackle Allen down as he shouted at Allen that he is in no condition to fight. Then, Allen looked evilly as he blackmails Baku by saying that he will tell Komui about the pictures that Baku has of Rinali. Then, Allen argued about Baku saying before about wanting to fight. Baku said that he said that when Allen was ready and not in his current state but Allen won’t be dissuade from his decision. Then, for a moment there, his arm?, came and got Allen released from the others who are holding him. Baku then get the seal opened fro Allen. Outside, Fou is defeated and was about to be disappeared using the string trick when Allen came from behind. The akuma then asked who it was as Allen answered an exorcist.
Well, more fighting next chapter. I wonder if Fou would be healed after she rested. I do hope that his left eye has more powers than just knowing/targeting akumas. Anyway, I still think that this akuma would be the reason for Allen to get back his innocence.

I'm Back + Naruto, Bleach and One Piece Updates

I got my computer yesterday and just in time, I’m feeling sick yesterday. ^^; I can’t quite pinpoint as to what’s wrong but I’m guessing it is either low blood since I’m feeling unnecessarily tired and have a bit of insomia or I’m on a verge of having a cold. Just like before, when my computer got fixed, there is a typhoon. I wonder if I caught something in the wind since it is quite strong here. A window got broken and I plan to take a picture of it but then realized that my digital camera is broke for no reason at all. So, I spend the last week playing Kingdom Hearts 2 by upgrading Sora’s level and I can’t still defeat Sephiroth. I have almost reached the peak level so I guess my strategy is wrong. There are also some items I’m missing, some missions that I can’t do and some tournaments haven’t open yet. Anyway, a bit more time and I’m sure I’ll finish it. I hope the extra clip is worth it. ^^; Oh ya, what’s broke with my computer is that the windows got a bit corrupted but managed to be restored. I have to pay for labor and I plan to get a ups since the technician said that it could be because of electric interruption/not turning off windows properly that has caused it for they have a customer wherein the same thing happened. I should have gotten it before since electricity in our place is quite unstable for just a little rain, it can cause a short brownout.
Then, when my mom watches Korean drama she rented, I would be doing this miniature frame which has a small café. It is a diy that I would have to assemble. It is made in China so the English and a bit of instructions are not quite right. Some of the materials inside doesn’t even jive with what’s in the cover. ^^; Anyway it is fun to do it that I plan to buy some more if there are other ‘settings’ that are still available. I bought it in a bookstore though mom said that she saw such things in a store in Ongpin [Chinatown] and much larger. I guess this stems from as a kid, I do want to make a doll house of miniatures. ^^; Speaking of Korean drama, I didn’t finished Spring Waltz since I got bored with the story and just asked my mom to tell it to me after I have downloaded it before. So, they learned each other’s identity. Lee Na kept on chasing him even after knowing the truth while Philip is still sport and even told the lead girl why Jae Ha left her before. In the end, because of Lee Na, Jae Ha’s hand got hurt and can’t play piano anymore so he retired and lived with the lead girl in their little island and teaching kids at school. They did got married with the ‘others’ as witnesses. I feel it is quite corny and cliché. It was a good start though with a nice ost but then, I lost interest in it.
Nothing much happened in Naruto [c. 315] for it is basically explanation of concepts by Kakashi to Naruto on how to train fast by making clones and training at the same time so that the experiences would be multiple times faster. Then, they learned that Naruto has wind-based powers. Yamato will be helping in the training. Naruto really does seem really stupid/innocent on things when Kakashi was explaining things but then, I wonder if it is deliberate by the author to get the reader to know how it was done, too. While in Bleach [c. 235], Yami was surprised that Luppi got creamed then got more surprised to see that Urahara is okay. Urahara explained that the one that Yami fought was just a dummy and then Urahara gives him the final blow. Meanwhile, Ichigo isn’t in good shape as Grimmjow pinned him down and was about to finish him when Rukia came to the rescue by freezing Grimmjow. As Rukia tries to help Ichigo, it seems that Rukia needs to know some lessons from Hitsugaya to finish the enemy before anything else for Grimmjow managed to break free from the ice and grasp Rukai’s head, much to her and Ichigo’s surprise. I’m guessing that Rukia thought that using her freezing techniques like before [on Grimmjow’s lackeys] would work but haven’t realize that Grimmjow is an ex-espada. I’m guessing since they are in distress, maybe Ichigo can do something to make the ‘mask’ work again, if not then, Inoue would be going with Ulquiorra. It’s amusing that Urahara mentioned about Aizen getting angry at Yami since Luppi got defeated. Hehehe Also, how Urahara fights for he observes the opponent first then making conclusions on how to defeat the enemy. Well, he is a scientist after all. Anyway, from the looks of it, even if Grimmjow is quite a rebel and everything, he does seem strong. It would be a waste for Aizen to just throw him away..would he make Inoue ‘grow’ back his arm? Well, if that is actually possible or well, Grimmjow will get it when Ichigo, if ever, gets his mask back.
Things are pretty great in One Piece [c. 418-419]. Kaku is finally defeated. Zoro just has to say that he is fired and if he can’t find a job, try the zoo. =P Kaku then gave Zoro his key before passing out. Sanji then came to ask about the key. Meanwhile, Spandam is still dragging Robin to an arch which if he passes through it, Robin can’t be rescued anymore. Below the arch is a ship waiting for them. Robin tries to get away and even used her teeth to hold on to the side of the bridge as Spandam beats her to release. Robin has been crying for it is the first time she actually feared death and still clings to the hope that the others will save her. Back to the last fight, Lucci managed to make Luffy fly across the room as Franky tries to go to the door. Franky realized that his super punch is useless against Lucci. Then, when Lucci is about to give him the final blow, Lucci got blown away by Luffy in 2nd gear’s jet pistol. Franky’s face was priceless from shock. Luffy said that he can’t hold that form pretty long so he would buy time for Franky to pass the door. Lucci said that he won’t let him and changed to his leopard form. Then, Luffy stopped him from attacking Franky and managed to distract Lucci for Franky to go through the door. Around that time, Robin has released her grip for she has been beaten by Spandam and continues to pull Robin to the arch.
The gate of justice is now fully open for the buster call has been made and the admiral ships would come out from there. Shipwrights and Franky family are still running along with the giants and giant seabulls as they hope that Franky and Strawhats would survive. Luffy was a bit happy for Franky is going to rescue Robin as Lucci regrets for underestimating Luffy’s strength. Lucci noticed that Luffy has a hard time breathing and asked if it is because of the smoke. Luffy said that it is fine as long as he can beat him. Lucci is quite pleased with that. Then, Franky is climbing up the stairs. At the bridge, Spandam continues to gloat about putting mines on the stairs in case someone follows. Robin insist that she won’t go to the gate for the others are going to save her. It infuriates Spandam that he starts to blab about what happened to Ohara to destroy Robin’s hope and that he knew everything for the former CP9 then was his father. He then went on with the hardships that Robin endured all those years and that his father was the one who put the bounty on her and now, the son has finally caught that last survivor of Ohara and thus, the history of Ohara is finished. Robin remembered Sauro’s words of her being the only witness to Ohara and shouted that she is still alive. Spandam told her that she will die soon.
Then, Franky has hit the mines and fell into the sea. Robin realized that he came to save her. Spandam was thankful for he put the mines as he hurriedly drags Robin into the arch. He calls out to prepare to sail and just as he was about to step into the arch, he got blown away. Quite fitting as he mentioned first step of hero into the arch then his entrance was flying down near the ship, blown up. The marines tried to look for the enemy for no one is on the bridge but all the marines where blown up one by one. Who else could it be but Sogeking on top of the tower of Justice. The marines and Spandam were shock for it was quite far and there is also the strong wind that they can’t attack back. From where Sogeking is standing, Sanji and Zoro were there. Just as Spandam curses again, he got blown up again. Lol. Then, Robin used this chance to get away. Spandam told the others to shoot her down though not to kill her but then, Franky came to shield her from the bullets. Then, a baby mushi called Franky, it was Sogeking who informed Franky that there is a red package on the floor and in it, are the two keys he needs to complete the set. Spandam was shock to hear that they have the complete keys for Robin’s cuffs. Sogeking, Sanji and Zoro has finished their mission and time to hurry out of there.
And this arc has reached its climax. Robin is finally saved. I do wonder if Franky and Robin will beat Spandam to a pulp for both has an ax to grind on him. Hehehe I can’t wait for this part to get animated, hope it would be superb. ^_^ I just realized that to escape, they have to get as far as away as possible from the gate of justice. Sogeking saves the day so that was what Sanji had in mind. I was thinking either he would get himself on the bridge or making a way to escape. Mm..Nami’s no where in sight, where could she be? For Robin to actually fear death, I guess it is because she finally found nakama who would be there for her and not betray her that death doesn’t seem to sound good anymore. Anyway, I do hope Spandam got what he deserves.

There Goes My Computer Again..

This is my last entry for a while for my computer has started to act up again. Argh. This is getting really irritating already. It started yesterday when it kept on rebooted on its own around twice. Now, it kept on rebooting around 5-10 minutes. I have back up my c drive already since if ever it needs to be reformatted, for it took a long time before. ^^; I plan to write about the latest chapter of One Piece, D. Gray-man and Nana but I guess that would be next time after the computer is fixed for I can’t type a decent entry if the computer kept on rebooting. So, this is it for now. Ja!

Bleach [chapter 234] and Naruto [chapter 314]

In Bleach [c. 234], Inoue quickly realizes that Ulquiorra was the arrancar from before and tries to stop the two shinigamis from attacking by asking him what he wanted to say but Ulquiorra had already attacked them. Inoue had to use her powers to heal them as Ulquiorra told her that he wants her to come with him or else, death to her companions. [Mm..Chinese translation says that she will also be killed but in english ones, she would be spared.] He showed her scenes of the others being beaten up. Ulquiorra said that that is his ultimatum for Aizen wants her talents and the only answer that he wants is ‘yes’ from her or else. Change scene to Urahara and others, Urahara was surprised by Wanderweiss attack, saying he haven’t seen it before. Yami then took this chance to attack Urahara from behind using the same attack and kept on hitting Urahara with it. Luppi was disappointed for he wanted to attack Urahara but then, he turns his attention back to Rangiku and others, saying that even if Urahara came to save them, they are caught again. Rangiku then told him that he is quite talkative and she hates men who are talkative. It angered Luppi and when he was about to attack her noticed that his tentacles [not holding the others] were frozen solid. It was Hitsugaya. He told Luppi that he shouldn’t have let go of his guard [for Luppi thought that Hitsugaya is finished] and that since the atmosphere has water, he can use reform his zanpaku. Hitsugaya said that since Luppi is taking his sweet time, it gave Hitsugaya enough time to counterattack. Then, frozen icicles formed around Luppi and crushed him. Hitsugaya then says, it seems that just 8 arms isn’t enough.
I do wonder if Inoue will accept the offer since now, Hitsugaya and Rangiku are out of danger..for now. I have a feeling it will be because of Ichigo that she might go with Ulquiorra. But then, Ulquiorra seems quite powerful so if the others can’t finish the job, he will. Nice to see, Hitsugaya back. I guess being a captain is not really that easily beaten. I hope that Urahara would get back next chapter..it doesn’t seem likely that he will be downed by an arrancar like Yami. Wanderweiss’ behavior is quite eratic though..one moment like a ‘fool’ then crazed then back to a ‘fool’.
Nothing much happened in Naruto [c. 314]. The two new akatsuki passed the two tail to another one, the plant guy then, heads off to a temple and captured a monk in exchange for some money before going to the fire country. Then, Naruto’s training by Kakashi starts and Shikamaru’s sensei, Asuma’s father seems to be the fire country’s past hokage. The author is pretty much developing the two new akatsuki – one being religious and the other likes money that they do side jobs for money. Naruto does seem happy that Kakashi is finally going to train him for Kakashi has been too focused on Sasuke before. Somehow, I felt that Asuma would be in danger later on if he is in fire country.

In Vampire Knight [c. 19], Ichiru is jealous? as he even has the guts to tell off Shizuka as to why she is playing with Zero, like before. He added that it would be troublesome for him if she dies there. Shizuka then decided to take her retreat as she told him that she has something she wanted to do so he doesn’t have to worry about her dying anytime soon. Zero wanted to chase after her but Ichiru stopped him and told him that it has been a long time since they have met so why not have a little chit-chat for they are twins.
Cue in flashback: Zero bids goodbye to their sensei when he left, Ichiru glomps Zero. Zero told him to stay home since Ichiru is feverish but Ichiru said Zero knew that he is just faking. Zero asked if he really doesn’t want to ‘say goodbye’ to sensei. Ichiru said that even if he is a student, sensei doesn’t take him seriously but it doesn’t matter for Zero likes him. He then hugs him when they notice something falling. Ichiru asked if it is snow but Zero corrected him that it is sakura petals. Then, they saw a sakura tree with Shizuka crying. Ichiru was smitten as he said she was beautiful. Zero quickly tries to get Ichiru away by saying that she is a vampire. Ichiru was surprised for he didn’t know. Ichiru then hugs Zero saying that Zero is really great and I think he said something about he can’t reach Zero’s level or something. That night, Ichiru really got fever as Zero accompanies him to sleep. Zero said that it could be because he went outside in the cold. Their mother then came, asking if it is okay for Ichiru to sleep in Zero’s bed. Zero wanted to get some ice for Ichiru but Ichiru won’t let him leave. Their mother then said that she’ll leave Ichiru to Zero for Ichiru really likes Zero.
Ichiru said that his body is really weak which is quite useless for a vampire hunter. He then asked about the vampire they saw, if their parents will also hunt it. Zero said that he doesn’t know though if there is a need for it, he will. Ichiru then asked that if Zero would hunt vampires, would he be able to do it since he is nice. Zero told him not to worry for their sensei gave him a lot of things for the purpose of killing vampires. Ichiru then asked, [I’m not quite sure] if it is too much if Zero would do Ichiru’s part. Zero answered that there is no such thing. Later on, Ichiru went out to get a drink of water and told Zero that he is fine by himself. Then, he heard his parents talking about them that Zero is quite useful and would be able to become a vampire hunter but the problem is Ichiru for he can’t keep up with Zero. Even if they know it, they can’t do anything about it and if Ichiru is indeed useless, they don’t know how to report it – I’m guessing to the organization of vampire hunters. Then, Ichiru noticed a petal coming into the window and Shizuka is sitting on the sakura tree, telling him that they met again. He then asked why she is crying and if she is hurt anywhere. Shizuka then asked if he doesn’t have any ‘hurt’ himself. Ichiru looked surprised and replied something.
Later on, his parents are getting ready to move again for they can’t let the vampires know where they live. Ichiru looked surprise and said that vampire isn’t bad and they think too much. Zero thought that he is acting strange. Ichiru said that he will just go take some fresh air as he asked the protesting Zero, ‘what’ am I? Then, he left. His father? then asked where Ichiru was. Zero told him that Ichiru will come back later on. Zero then noticed that there is a vampire nearby that he become worried over Ichiru that he went out and saw Shizuka. Shizuka praised him for sensing her even earlier than his twin. Then, she said something about the twins living with the vampire hunters, it is the ‘deep crime of the blood’ – not so sure. Then, Shizuka disappeared and appeared behind him, Zero managed to turn quickly but she quickly grabbed him. Shizuka said that she will give him a ‘destiny of carrying burden of sin’. Then, his parents came out and called out Shizuka’s name. When Zero heard it, he looked surprised, I guess he also knew who that was. They asked how could a pureblood like her be there. She, still crying, told them that they made that ‘guy’ disappear so she will get her revenge on them. His parents screamed to stop but then, she bit into Zero and killed his parents. As Zero falls down and saw what happened to his parents, Ichiru came in. He tells Ichiru to escape then told Shizuka if he harms Ichiru, he will kill her.
Back to present, Ichiru then asked Zero what he thought of that time. Zero seem uneasy as Ichiru continues, saying that Zero doesn’t want to know..it is that it has been for some time when he finally understands, in his heart, it is darkness. The flashback looked as if Ichiru was a bit happy or is that my imagination. Anyway, Shizuka is still walking away from the room, dripping of blood when someone told her “That’s a lot of blood, Miss Shizuka.” It was Kaname, waiting for her as he was leaning on the window. I think Kaname said that using such weapons on a pureblood would be of no use. Shizuka then asked what he was doing there. Kaname said that this is his favorite place in school for no bothersome people would be there. Shizuka agrees as she puts bandages on her wounds. She then asked why he is in this school. Kaname said that it is because there are people here who are important chess pieces. He then hugs her from behind and told her that they should re-think about the same thing that he and she is doing. Then, to Shizuka’s surprise, Kaname thrust his hand into Shizuka’s chest/stomach. Then, he whispers to her that like her, it is all for that one person..then a scene of Yuuki.
What can I say? Yehey, no Yuuki around to stop Kaname from killing Shizuka, that is if that can actually kill her. The bad thing here is, if Shizuka is telling the truth, Zero will go to level E and that’s the end. I’m not sure Zero would be happy that someone got to Shizuka before he does. Well, he got another thing to angst about, his jealous twin brother. I guess the constant comparing has changed Ichiru’s love for his brother into hate. Well, Ichiru might just lost his job if Shizuka is dead. I guess that is his fault for wanting to ‘hurt’ Zero on the truth that he doesn’t even know that they might also have enemies. I do wonder if he was the one who told Shizuka that they are moving so she better act fast. He does look surprised for I guess he didn’t expect Shizuka to do that but then, after seeing what happened to Zero, I guess it turned into satisfaction. It does seem that Zero’s parents had killed off Shizuka’s lover so she is crying and out for revenge and the cycle continues when she killed Zero’s parents. I do wonder if they are adopted though when Shizuka mentioned about the twins being with vampire hunters, as if that is unnatural. It is also strange that in the flashbacks, their parents faces aren’t shown. It also does seem to show that maybe Shizuka is friendly before with Kaname that she doesn’t suspect that he might not be her enemy or she was just oblivious that Kaname really cherishes Yuuki and trying to harm Yuuki is like making her into his enemy.
Kaname, true to form, would do everything, even trying to kill – I say trying for I’m not quite sure if Shizuka will be dead by then – another pureblood like him if anyone harms Yuuki. It isn’t strange though for he had already killed for her already when they first met. For me, it is better late than never. ^_^ It does seem that purebloods tend to be kept on a place and doesn’t wander about the place..because they are rare? When he mentioned Shizuka is doing it all for that person, I wonder if he meant her lover who died. If so, then, that means that Shizuka is just back to torment Zero and now, there is Ichiru. If Shizuka is dead, then, Zero’s focus would be on Ichiru. Anyway, this also confirms Kaname’s killing style, it is using his hands. It reminded me of Fuuma from X. ^^; From BW, the translator said that next chapter seems to be a short story so chapter 20 will be after two months.

Update on Anime I Watched

Well, Jyu Oh Sei has ended and as I observed earlier, characters kept on dying left and right here that everything felt rushed. Thor turned out to be the final gene-whatever manipulation of all the past Jyu Ohs and that he is really the indirect cause of the death of his family. He wasn’t really a twin of Rai but more of adopted and for some reason, his genes of wanting to survive can help him change/adapt his physical features to the environment. Third turned out to be from Odin who was to make sure that Thor become a Jyu Oh in return, he can go to Earth but then, everything becomes nothing when they discovered that Earth doesn’t exist anymore. He sacrificed himself to save Thor. Tiz turned out to be dead, too when she tried to save Zagi from that vengeful guy whom I think was the one who killed Karin, as hinted from someone in the forum that Third lied about killing Karin. Zagi’s fate is unknown. In the end, Thor with the survivors still lives in the planet. Amusingly, Thor ended up having Third’s appearance, wearing Zagi’s earring [also noted from a forum] and calling a girl they found Tiz. ^^; All three important people in this life, dead but since he is a survivor, he still lives on despite of it. Overall, it is okay, the art is nice, guys are really bshie. I didn’t quite get into the characters though for everyone is dying left and right also, the whole plot does seem quite rush. The ost is pretty nice. The main theme seems to be things aren’t what they seem as in everything they believe in is actually a lie/sham. ^^;
Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu has already ended, too. I will miss this anime and do hope that there will be a second season. Episode 12 is about the school festival and the highlight of that one is Haruhi/Enoz’s concert. That was really good and it was indeed a pleasant surprise. Episode 13-14 continues on the first part of cast introduction wherein this time it is Itsuki’s showing of his powers though I’m not that impressed. He with other espers just destroys a huge electric monster in a closed space which was supposedly happens when Haruhi isn’t in a good mood. The last episode was when Haruhi got jealous over Mikuru when Kyon and Mikuru seems to be flirting that she re-created a new world with only Kyon and her exists. With the hints of adult Mikuru, update from Itsuki as to what happened and some hints from Yuki, Kyon managed to appreciate the current world and gave Haruhi a kiss and everything was re-created back to its original state. To be sure it wasn’t a dream, Kyon saw that Haruhi’s hair is on a ponytail after he mentioned he likes girls with ponytails. The last scene was a date of sorts between the two as the others suddenly couldn’t make it. This is a fun anime even if the sequence of the episodes is topsy-turvy that re-watching it makes it more understandable. I really like Tomokazu Sugita’s voice and his narration is quite fun. I’m also surprised at Haruhi’s va, wow, that was a great singing voice at the concert. The animation/art was really good, too, as expected from KyoAni. I got used to the opening and ending song..the ending dance is really something. This anime would be one of those that I can watch all over again. I read that this is based on a novel and well, hopefully, the rest would be animated. ^_^
I’m updated with Zegapain up to episode 10. The story is about a boy going to this other world to fight some enemies which he thinks is some sort of alternative reality and he does seem to be ‘re-born’. Then, he got into depression when he learned that both worlds doesn’t exist anymore. They are just preserved in a server and those who have died are deleted from the world he currently lives. They are trying to stop some enemies from destroying the rest of the servers and protect the existing servers. The art is quite good and so is the cast though somehow, I got bad vibes with the girl sub-head of the group. I don’t know why. ^^; Also, some other people, too, character design or something. I like the opening and ending songs. I somewhat think that the lead guy and his friend has an accent or something since it is quite different. I’m guessing Osaka/something but then, is Maihama in Osaka? The mecha fights are just ordinary shooting and fighting, nothing spectacular. Bleach [c. 86] was okay as Chad, Nova, Ururu and Rangiku vs old geezer bount and his rock whale. Some random fights then Ururu got swallowed when she saved Chad and their try to get the bount + whale into Nova’s dimension failed. Nothing much..isn’t that bad nor good.
In Utawarerumono [e. 11-12], there are new enemies and they seem to know Hakuoro’s past. They have destroyed and killed everyone from the village that took care of Hakuoro. He was unnerved and haunted by the accusations of the new country of what he supposedly did before which is killing his family and many people. It does seem that he is already wearing a mask then, and I thought that it was placed on him as punishment. By what one of the soldier said about Hakuoro should not find happiness, I somewhat thought that they had cursed him or something. I read from a different blog mentioning about Hakuoro attracting war and violence, and it is true from these two episode. Now, they have two new countries going against them. I skipped on Ergo Proxy by watching on wowow, episodes 16-17, no volume and I enjoyed it nevertheless. Episode 16 is fun, busy doing nothing as Real tries to live with Vincent and Pino though they tend to annoy her especially the toilet seat thing that she punishes Vincent by kicking him off the ship which was stuck for there is no wind. In the end of the episode, she managed to loosen up a bit. From episode 17, I’m guessing that they are returning back and Raul is currently being haunted. I made a mistake of looking at episode titles in wowow website that I saw, goodbye Vincent. That isn’t good that I’m wondering if Vincent would be killed off or be ‘swallowed’ by Ergo. I’m currently download the rest of the episodes for the subber I used to get has stopped and I have to change subbers.
Nana [e.11] is getting to the point wherein Hachi used up all her money and got ‘fired’ for the store is closing. Shoji is getting closer with Sachiko with that Cinderella lose shoe bit and Yasu going to Tokyo. Somehow, I don’t get annoyed with Hachi that much anymore as when I first read the manga though at times, I felt like saying, be careful, you’re pregnant then I remembered she isn’t pregnant yet here. ^^; I’m guessing maybe because I realized that there are really girls who are quite dependent and dreams of being a wife and mother, as contrast with independent Nana who tends to put career first before love. Then, there was 11.5 episode which is pretty much a recap of everything that has happened. I think that this series would have a lot more recaps and there are already two in just a span of 10+ episodes. It is pretty bad that I don’t like replaying those scenes over and over since I have already watched the live action. I felt like I watched that meeting of the two Nanas around 4x already. ^^; Ouran High School Host Club episode 12 is fun about Honey’s toothache and this bunny toy getting wet which isn’t good especially since Honey is really cranky when he just woke up. They changed the ending as contrast to the manga. I think in the manga, the girl wanted to give Mori chocolates on V-day but since it is banned, she couldn’t give it to him while here, she became like Renge and into shounen ai stuff of Mori and Honey. Episode 13 is not that good but then, I like the Cheshire cat twins and Tamaki’s madhatter outfit in the ‘dream’. Haruhi just went to meet everyone with Alice in Wonderland twist though the ending is nice about the queen being her mother and they wanted her to have fun instead of just studying. Oh ya, Haruhi is really cute in some scenes when she is chibi. The next episode would be on the newspaper club and if I recall, they try to ruin the reputation of the host club. That would be interesting.

Ouran High Host Club [chapter 37 and 40]

I found scans for Ouran High Host Club [c. 37 & 40]. I would normally wait for 38 and 39 but what happened in 40 is too good to wait for the other chapters. ^^; First of, chapter 37 is somewhat of a continuation of Tamaki forming the club. This time is how he recruited the seclusive twins into the club. It started with a monologue about ‘being one yet two bodies’ – other normal people won’t understand. They tend to play a game before with the girls who wrote them a love letter. The girl wrote a letter to Hikaru and then, on a certain place, at the back of school, Hikaru would go to her pretending to be Kaoru, saying she mistakenly gave the letter to him, Kaoru, instead of Hikaru. Then, he would ask her if is it okay if he, Kaoru, would be the one whom she will date. The girl would say that it is okay even if it is Kaoru. Then, Hikaru would call out to Kaoru that the girl said it was okay so he won – they were betting. As in, the girl doesn’t differentiate between them. The girl cried, saying they were cruel but they said that she is the one cruel for it was okay for her for it to be either one of them. She needs to change ‘her taste’ and next time, make a more interesting love confession. Then, they tore her love letter, leaving her in tears. Tamaki was observing and he went to comfort the girl.
The twins then thought of what new game they would play. Everyone was talking about them being notorious and scary. They wouldn’t want to deal with them but their parents told them to try to be friendly with the twins. Some wonder if the twins are just lonely and leaving them like that won’t be good that they would want to understand the twins. The twins felt everyone was bothering them for they wished they disappear – those stupid girls and stupid adults. Then, Tamaki asked them to join his club. First, they asked who he was and one of them, I’m guessing Kaoru, said that he is Tamaki, as from according to the girls and he just transferred last spring. Tamaki then started blabbing about being famous then told them about his plans for the club which they would form when they reach high school. I think they are in Jr. high. Tamaki then narrates on the potential members, Kyoya, Honey and Mori but the twins refused. Then, they proposed that they play a game. They told Tamaki to guess which one is Hikaru and Tamaki and the reason better be good. They would give him a month to do it and it doesn’t matter the number of times that he tries to guess. Tamaki looked surprised as the twins talked about having few people to play their game and Tamaki would be in their list of ‘losers’ in the game. Tamaki then made a wild guess on the right is Hikaru while on the left is Kaoru. The twins were surprised that Tamaki asked if he was mistaken so he switched answers. They asked the reason and Tamaki flashed his smile, saying gut feel. They won’t accept his answer but Tamaki wasn’t worried for he has a whole month and if he won, they would be new members for his club. He shouted for them to go to the third music room on April and left. The twins thought that he was stupid.
Sometime, some girls are asking the twins to, I think, join a play/musical. They were trying to refuse when Tamaki pop out of nowhere to make another random guess and about which one is left/right-handed. The twins said that they can change for they are ambidextrous. The girls then told Tamaki about asking the twins to join the musical, Sound of Music and Tamaki signed them. The twins protest and started to leave telling him to ‘work harder’. Tamaki then came back to his classroom as Kyoya asked why he is back for didn’t he went to see the twins. Tamaki told him that they escaped and asked for help. Kyoya said that it is okay without them [doesn’t want to help] but Tamaki insists that he wants the twins for they are interesting. He wonders that he don’t get the twins for if they want people to differentiate them then why not just do different things. Kyoya then said maybe they don’t want others to differentiate them. Tamaki then asked why would they want him to play that game. Kyoya then said that maybe they want people to differentiate. Tamaki then asked if Kyoya is actually listening. Kyoya say he is, a little bit. Tamaki continues to wonder about it.
The next day, Tamaki went to the twins house to tell them about ‘selling’ the concept of ‘brotherly love’ for many girls would like that kind of thing when they get into the club. They told him to leave their house, they don’t understand what he is saying and they are going to school. Tamaki then waves to them, saying see you in school. Then, more scenes of Tamaki’s random guessing and well, he seems to be stalking the twins as the twins try to get away from him. While hiding, they realized that Tamaki is an idiot and started laughing about it. I guess stupid for he doesn’t know when to quit. The twins then decided to end the game. Tamaki asked why is it so. Then, they told him that they heard that Tamaki isn’t the real son of the school president and asked if he doesn’t want this rumor to spread, he should quit it. Tamaki looked stunned.
The twins then said that it is such a waste for the game is quite fun but they would be disappointed so they would rather drop it – ah, something like, they won’t like the ending. They contradict in what they want for they want people to differentiate them and yet, they don’t want to be differentiated. They want people to understand them and yet doesn’t want to. They don’t want to open up to other people for they are afraid of being hurt so its best for them to be just the two of them and locked the key tightly. The twins then started to play the ‘dating’ game again when just as one of them is going to tear up the love letter, Tamaki came and told them that Hikaru is the one tearing the letter. They were surprised and asked how did he know. Tamaki then answered, gut feel. Tamaki then apologized saying that he still haven’t distinguished the two of them but he did some thinking that they have talent so they should work hard to become ‘one’ as brothers and yet don’t forget that they are two different people. Tamaki continues that they should then ‘fight’ for it as he would try to guess which is which among the twins as they should do more on 2 in one body thing. I don’t quite get the last one. Then, the twins muttered something about it being contradictory being two yet one until Tamaki pointed out that it is their ‘character’ and so what if it is contradictory, it describes ‘them’. He told them not to do those things to people again as the twins were stunned and Tamake took the letter and gave it back to the girl. He then asked them like they are, they should just have fun with him. Then, then brought out a map to show them where the third music room is for the first meeting would be after school. The twins were embarrassed as they try to get away. Tamaki grabbed one of them and I think started to tickle them as he tries to make them get the map. Kyoya looks from the window and smiles as Tamaki got to the twins too. The twins then thought that day, someone has a good answer to it and they haven’t thought of it.
Around this time, Haruhi plans to get into Ouran High. Honey was talking to Mori about joining the club for Honey was told by Tamaki that it doesn’t matter if he likes cute things and cakes. Mori told him to do what he wanted to do. Honey smiles and said yes. So both also joins the club. Then, Hikaru tells Kaoru that they are just going to check the club because there is an interesting thing there as Kaoru said that he understands and if it is just normal, they can just leave. Then, both opens the door to the third music club at the same time. Thinking about it now, they thought that it is their first step out of their ‘world’.
Chapter 40 started with this princess bidding goodbye to them – I think this is the conclusion to what happened in chapters 38 and 39. Then, another shocking thing happens. Kyoya informs them that Tamaki is sick with a cold. Everyone except Haruhi was shock as they [twins and Honey] wonder if it is the end of the world. Haruhi told them it’s nothing for Tamaki is just sick. Then, everyone has shock faces and it turned out that Tamaki has never been sick. A girl said that maybe because that the princess had left and Tamaki was lonely for the princess is like his younger sister. Actually, the princess looked the same as Tamaki’s mother. She noticed that Tamaki acts strange when the princess left. She said that during serving tea, Tamaki put too much sugar on the tea that it overflowed with sugar. Then, Tamaki wrote a haiku about sweet father’s love. The grades-rival girl said that Tamaki has been reading parent-child relationships. Then, Renge told them that it started with yesterday after gym, Tamaki asked Mori if there was ever a time that Mori wanted to kiss Honey. Mori said no and Tamaki looked really shock. Then, Renge twists things and Mori felt uncomfortable about it.
At Tamaki’s huge mansion, Tamaki is sick on bed. He wonders about something as he remembered a scene with Haruhi who told him that she also sometimes thought of her mother and that Tamaki isn’t weird, I’m guessing about Tamaki comparing the princess or thinking the princess is his mom, something like that. Then, back at bed, Tamaki anguishes about almost wanting to kiss Haruhi and thinking that he was a pervert for he is ‘father’. The reason he asked Mori about kissing Honey was because Honey is like Mori’s child and was hoping to understand why did Tamaki had the urge to kiss Haruhi. Tamaki felt sick and thought he was dying then he thrashes about saying that he is dying, where’s the doctor. The head mistress then told him that if he can thrash about, he won’t be dying anytime soon. She told him that the doctor had already left and he should just eat medicine and rest, he would be fine. Tamaki asks for his dog as she told him that they have to ask the servants to take care of it for it might be too ‘genki’ for Tamaki. A small scene of the dog wimpering about for Tamaki. She then showed him the servants ready to help him as the maids even draw lots/darts as to who would serve him. They are all excited for Tamaki has never been sick. Tamaki wonders why they all look so happy and told them that he wanted to be alone. Then, all the servants charged at him – lol, opening the curtains, trying to cloth wash him, giving him soup by feeding him, helping him undress – freaking poor Tamaki out.
Then, his friends came to save him as the servants are disappointed for they have to go out. Tamaki was happy that they came to visit him. The twins then tries to help him dress up when Haruhi came in. Haruhi then apologized then left. Tamaki is angry that the twins deliberately did that as the twins are giggling but then, Tamaki lost his energy and fell on the bed. Everyone was then looking around Tamaki’s library. Then, they saw a scrapbook of what I think are junkfood Tamaki had eaten, taped on a notebook as the twins and Honey are amused with it for he even wrote when he ate it and what he felt. Kyoya says that what is expected of type A. As they are looking about the other books, they noticed that Haruhi and Mori are looking at a huge collection of toys. Kyoya said that it is the freebies from the junk food, I think. Mori likes the gundam. Tamaki laments as if they have forgotten the reason why they are there – visiting him for it became a field trip to see Tamaki’s house.
Haruhi then says that she likes the small furniture set which she didn’t get, I think before. Tamaki then, puts the miniature furnitures into a box and gives it to Haruhi. Haruhi says that it is okay she doesn’t want it but Tamaki insists. As Haruhi gets the box, they touched fingers which freaks Tamaki out that he tossed the box to Haruhi, scattering all the toys to the floor. The twins asked what’s with him as Honey said that Tamaki’s face looked really red. Tamaki says that his chest hurts as well as his heads. He tries to go to his room as he said that he is a pervert. The twins said that they know. Tamaki looked stunned as the twins are puzzled then, Tamaki said to let the ‘pervert father’ rest. He bumps on the table and a picture frame falls down as he went hiding inside the blankets. Everyone thought that this isn’t normal. Haruhi picked up the picture frame and saw it then, Tamaki took it from her as he still hides in the blankets. The head mistress then told them that tea is ready for them.
While going down the stairs, Haruhi asked the head mistress if the president will be visiting Tamaki. She told her that she already informed the secretary and he might be busy. Haruhi asked about the grandmother. She replied that she never goes there and even if Tamaki is sick dying, she would still not go. Then, Haruhi remembered that she was sick and her father took care of her, even not going to work. Hikaru then asked about the picture frame. Haruhi said that it is a picture and the ‘she’ –Tamaki’s mom looked a bit like the princess though she resembles Tamaki more. The picture is of Tamaki’s mom and young Tamaki. Hikaru then asked if Haruhi is really into the princess that happened before – I have no idea but I guess something did happened in that last two chapters. Something about Tamaki would never do such a thing. Haruhi then asked if it was something about Hikaru wanting to say something about before. She asked if she didn’t say it, wouldn’t Hikaru also say it? Hikaru blushes and said that even if he wouldn’t say it, Kaoru would. Hikaru then said that no matter who would have said the same thing. Haruhi agrees. Hikaru blushes and says is that so then laughs about it. Kaoru, who was listening, thought if [Hikaru?] is stupid, for he wouldn’t have said it. Then, they all went to eat some snacks.
The president then came as the maid told him that Tamaki’s friends are in the dining room while Tamaki is sleeping. Tamaki is still sleeping, crying over being a pervert as his father sits beside on the bed, thinking that it is his child so why does Tamaki have a stupid looking sleeping face though he is cute. His father then noticed Tamaki holding the picture. He then apologized to Tamaki saying that he haven’t thought that the grandma would not allow Tamaki see his mother but it is his gamble, and I think he is hoping that Tamaki would be able to ‘melt’ the grandmother’s heart or something for well, yeah, it is indeed Tamaki’s talent, and that he is quite dependable among the family. His father then kissed him on the forehead as Tamaki wakes up, calling his father a pervert. His father told him that as a parent, it is okay to kiss their cute child anytime. Tamaki asked if it is true as his father said that it is for he won’t lie as he smiles at Tamaki’s stupid looking face. His father said something about a father bridging the feelings as Tamaki was surprised/happy about this. On cue, Haruhi comes in saying that she forgot the toys. The president then greets Haruhi when all of a sudden, Tamaki grabs her and kissed her on the forehead. Tamaki smiles, saying that it is okay since he is father as he goes back to bed and slept, leaving his father and Haruhi stunned. Haruhi then thought that Tamaki is known as ‘kissing king’ so she should be careful next time. Tamaki’s father was clueless as to just what happened. The next day, Tamaki apparently forgot as to what had happened. Meanwhile, Mori was all gloomy about being asked about whether he wanted to kiss Honey, it seemed that he did when he has a high fever then but he lied about it.
Well, I guess Tamaki does have that charm to crack into people’s shells. Chapter 37 is pretty much like how Tamaki managed to get Kyoya to be his friend and in this case, it is the twins. Chapter 40 is really funny and cute..well, Tamaki is really cute here. Hehehe, still clueless that he is actually falling for Haruhi and the same goes for Hikaru. I do wonder a bit as to what really happened in the last two chapters about the princess. Mm..I do wonder if the formation of the club would be animated.

D. Gray-man [chapter 80]

In D. Gray-man [c. 80], Fou got angry at Allen who started to knock him about and telling him for not being serious and everything. Allen then snapped at her when he was already frustrated as to why he can’t activate his innocence. Later on, Baku declined the idea of getting Allen some fresh air for there are Noahs after him and they had to put up a barrier. Back to Allen, he felt guilty for lashing out on Fou and then was comforted by Lou Fa. It turned out that Lou Fa is a fake, it was Fou. Fou, embarrassed for being caught try to alibi that she wasn’t really encouraging Allen but Allen thanked her anyway. Then, Fou walking away, supposedly to going to rest, stood still and told Baku to hide Allen. The level 3 akuma then came out of her for she was the ‘barrier’ of the place and it claims that it used the ‘ark’ to get in. The akuma greets Allen as he prepares for battle. Somehow, I’m guessing that this akuma would be the reason as to how Allen would get his innocence back. I won’t quite like their cover in Jump, if that is the anime, only Rabi’s design is nice.

In Naruto [c. 313], the two new Akatsuki just finishes/captures the two tail fox girl. Shikamaru’s sensei was about to say something to Kakashi when the woman sensei interrupted and they left without saying it. The two Akatsuki would be after another tailed person in Fire Country. I guess the translation before of the two tail being last is wrong. Nothing much to say in this chapter.
My guess is wrong in Bleach [c.233] as Urahara ended up helping the other shinigami, before Luppi impales/spikes through Rangiku. The one which is quite ‘aloof’, Wanderweiss, suddenly attacked Urahara. Ichigo was last seen plummeting to the ground as Grimmjow continues his assault for he knew this is his chance as he is already gravely wounded. The last scene was Inoue being stubborn and wanted to help. Accompanied by two shingimagi, she passes by the tunnel only to be met by Ulquiorra who thought that they aren’t being careful and she only has two escorts. So, the others are indeed diversions as Ulquiorra is after Inoue. I’m surprised that he can teleport there though well, I think hollows can get into dead soul society. I wonder if Inoue can even buy some time..though highly doubtful. Inoue’s overeagerness to help when she doesn’t seem to be ready would be her greatest mistake and well, I guess it is because she doesn’t know how valuable she was as observed by Aizen. I’m still thinking if Urahara indeed knew of this ahead of time or not. So, maybe Rukia will help Ichigo.
While in One Piece [c. 417], lots of crazy giraffe techniques by Kaku but finally defeated by Zoro who went into ‘Asura’ mode. It is somewhat of a warrior god in India, I think, which has many arms and known for fighting. I remembered it from Tokyo Crazy Paradise as it is the god compared to Tsubasa..if that is her name..if I recall it. ^^; I’m a bit weird out when Zoro sprouted those arms though. ^^; So, next would be Zoro following the others and maybe a brief again on what’s happening with Robin plus Luffy and Lucci’s fight.

D. Gray-man [chapter 79]

In D. Gray-man [c. 79], Rabi and others actually attacked the Earl. They saw the Earl for the first time as ‘Sachiko’ is worried about the sanity of attacking the Earl. Rabi and Crowley were confident that they will win. Ticky blocked their attack against the Earl. Tiki recognized them – they met when Tiki in his other form at the train. Rabi and Rinali recognized him as the one who almost killed Allen so Rabi is getting ready to fight and is pretty mad. Tiki then realized that they were Allen’s friends and told them that he understands how they feel for he also have friends. Then, Rabi and Rinali were surprised when Tiki mentioned that Allen is still alive and will try to meet with them. Tiki then added, that is if they are still alive to see him and if Allen be able to fight and survive against the akuma that he has sent to kill Allen. Then, one of Tiki’s butterfly has arrived at where Allen is with an akuma, I wonder if it is level 3.
I do question the logic of attacking the Earl already. They still haven’t recovered from their wounds and they just fought with some akuma and only one is level 3, what more if they are Noahs. Anyway, when did Tiki and Allen looked pretty ‘sexy’? ^^; It is quite amusing how Allen’s art have evolved..from cute English-looking kid to white haired bsho. Hehehe Anyway, I learned that they will make an anime of this series. I’m not quite sure if I would be happy about it or not depending on how they do it. I would like to see Rabi’s attacks in action though. ^_^ It’s something to look forward to, I think around November, and it will be out around the same time as Death Note anime.

Naruto [chapter 312], One Piece [chapter 416] and Bleach [chapter 232]

In Naruto [c. 312], Kakashi briefed Naruto about the training which can vastly improve Naruto’s skills and he would be able to do with in a short span of time. Before Kakashi could tell more, Shikamaru’s group and sensei came to visit Kakashi. Shikaramu’s sensei wanted to talk to Kakashi alone so he asked the other to go on ahead at the restaurant. Before arriving at the restaurant, Shikamaru excused himself for he had a mission with his father. The others went on and introduced themselves to Sai. Sai, in his eagerness to call others by nicknames almost called Choji fat if Naruto haven’t stopped him. Then, it is Ino’s turn. Ino already had a crush on Sai. Sai thinking that one shouldn’t be frank with girls and he decided to say the opposite so that they won’t be angry. So, he called Ino, pretty girl. Ino blushed and it made Sakura angry for he didn’t call her that and started to..I think strangle him. Hehehe, he does learn fast – learning not to ‘insult’ girls. Anyway, there are some news of Akatsuki movements. The last scene was two Akatsuki attacking a girl, who is a two-tail, supposedly last one to be taken care of by the Akatsuki, I guess aside from Naruto, unless they don’t want Naruto anymore. I wonder if this two-tail will survive.
It is now Zoro vs Kaku fight in One Piece [c. 416]. At first, it was more or less a tie though Kaku managed to wound Zoro though not that bad. Then, Zoro used a different technique and actually managed to injure Kaku which angers Kaku. Meanwhile, Sanji takes the key from Jabura and hurries towards the others. Franky managed to reach where Luffy was. Luffy told Franky that Robin is behind the door that Lucci is guarding and he should try to get past Lucci to get the keys to Robin. Luffy said that he will try to keep Lucci busy though Lucci doesn’t seem to want to let them pass. Spandam is already dragging Robin to the bridge to the door as he gloats about being a hero when he passes that gate. There is only 10 minutes left before buster call. Well, this isn’t the first time when battles in One Piece has time limits though time limits does make things exciting. I guess next chapter would conclude the fight and would now move on Luffy vs Lucci + saving Robin.
There is a nice colorspread in Bleach [c. 232], foursome [Ichi, Rukia, Inoue and Renji] in nerd look hehehe. There is also a vs color spread – from it, the ones who aren’t fighting yet are Renji and Urquiola. The chapter starts with Hitsugaya quickly going into the defensive by going into bankai as no. 6 girl, Rupi, pulls out her sword and a ‘tentacle’ attacked Hitsugaya. Rupi praised him for shielding himself but asked what if the ‘tentacles’ are eight. Everyone was shocked as Hitsugaya got attacked and is going down. Rupi then taunts that it isn’t 4 vs 1 for it is 8 vs 4. Then, to Grimmjow vs Ichigo. Grimmjow was all bloodied as he asked that Ichigo’s power isn’t suppose to be a shinigami’s. Ichigo had no time to answer as he kept on attacking Grimmjow. Grimmjow then managed to pull out a beam attack so Ichigo has to block it. Just then, Ichigo managed to block an attack of Grimmjow. Ichigo tries to finish him off but unfortunately, his time is up as Ichigo’s mask breaks and he looked pretty shock. Grimmjow was also surprised then smirks as he told Ichigo that he is finished then hits Ichigo as Ichigo goes plummeting back to the ground. Poor Ichigo, he looked really shocked that the mask has already broke that he doesn’t seem had time to react against Grimmjow’s attack. Well, I didn't think that Grimmjow would be killed off that easily. Mm..no Urahara yet. I do wonder who he is going to fight though. I’m guessing he is going to help Ichigo since if anything happens to Ichigo, Ishin will not be happy with Urahara but then, the vizards are nearby though I’m not sure they would help Ichigo for they mentioned if he was useless, they won’t care. Urahara doesn’t seem to be the type to help out Hitsugaya and his group. It is really doubtful if he would protect Inoue for she is currently in Soul Society. Mm..how would Rukia help then..? Well, maybe Hitsugaya's group.

The meeting of angry Shou and Reino continues in Skip Beat! [c. 89]. Shou wanted to beat up Reino and would have been a pulp if it hasn’t been for Ogata who stopped him. Ogata told him that even if he avenged Kyouko, it would make such a big fuss –violence doesn’t solve things- so they should just report it to the police. Reino surprised them by telling them that it doesn’t matter to him for he wanted to destroy ‘Mio’s’ image’ by saying that he has assaulted her and the paparazzi would just create rumors about it even if it is true or not. Ogata was then worried as to what they would do or else, Kyouko’s image will be destroyed. Kyouko then decided to protect her image by keeping all that has happened quiet. Shou tries to protest but Kyouko has already decided on it. Then, Kyouko tearfully cries for because of Shou and Reino, the image she helped build up on Mio can be easiy destroyed so she would rather keep silent about it. She said that she would just cry herself to sleep regarding it. Reino prepares to leave as Shou asked him if he is trying to escape. Reino told them that he isn’t satisfied with Kyouko just crying herself to sleep for he wanted her to think of him all the time, so he will tell it to the media. They were surprised as poor Kyouko shouts, who would stop him.
The scene then changes to Yashiro who had arrived at the set. Everyone was surprised as to what he was doing there for Ren is due the next day. Yashiro said that there is something that has happened though didn’t elaborate. Yashiro then remembered the night before of Ren going into his room, asking him to check on things at the set by leaving in the morning for the latest he can go there is tomorrow night. Yashiro asked what it was but Ren said that he wasn’t sure. Yashiro then agreed and Ren looked really relieved. Yashiro promised to report to him what what he will learn. Yashiro thought that from Ren’s expression, he already knew whom he ought to check up on to. He then looked around the set and saw that nothing is wrong but then, realized that Kyouko isn’t there. He then asked Itsumi where Kyouko was. Itsumi pauses that Yashiro immediately knew that indeed something is wrong. Itsumi then told him that right now, they don’t know where she is.
Back at the forst, Reino got stopped by Shou who stepped Reino’s coat onto the tree. Shou asked why is Reino ‘bullying’ Kyouko when he was the one whom he is after. Reino told him that he has changed target, and decided to go after Kyouko. Reino then told him that he wanted Kyouko to hate him so that all day long, she would think of him, not Shou. Reino then told him he wanted to make Kyouko unreachable among men, except him for with ‘evil intentions’ or Kyouko’s demons, he can control her. Reino then pulls away his coat from Shou’s foot and told him that Shou just play his part and he would do the rest regarding on dealing with Kyouko. Something must have snapped in Shou as he stepped on Reino’s coat again. Reino told him to stop that as Shou grabbed him by the collar to tell him that is his line. Reino taunted Shou about getting angry for not only stealing his music but also his girl. Shou then kneed Reino on his stomach as Shou told him that he better think twice stealing things from him. Shou then grabbed Reino’s collar as Reino is kneeling in pain where Shou hit him. Reino then taunted him about telling all the media about Kyouko to destroy her name. Shou told Reino to do just that if he even has the strength to do it. Then, a moment of fear in Reino’s face as Shou smiles coldly at him. The last scene was Ren boarding a taxi on the way to the airport.
I can say that Reino got what he deserved but I do wonder what Shou did, did he beat Reino up that he can’t walk or can’t speak? It is really scary to encounted people like that who would destroy other people’s reputation for the fun of it. It is true though, making someone angry and infuriated, would somewhat make that person kept on thinking about oneself even if he doesn’t want to. There are lots of cute chibi Yashiro in this chapter though I find it a bit odd when he is in casual clothes, somehow it doesn’t suit him. Anyway, next chapter would be fun and it is, from the raws.

D. Gray-man [chapter 78], Parfait Tic [chapter 121] and Vampire Knight [chapter 18]

There are a lot of text in D. Gray-man [c. 78] that I have to rely on some translators to understand it. ^^; The Noahs have gone to the place where Noah and the ark supposedly have landed as according to the Bible. They felt as if they are familiar with the place even if they visited it rarely. The Earl then came and told them it was because their genes are from Noah so that is why they felt that way. He is standing on top of a huge organ with lots of pipes and in the middle is a face of a baby/doll – the one that is usually used in horror genre. ^^; I can’t quite place where I have seen that though. Anyway, the Earl plans to make a new ark. The Noahs then briefed him as to why they were there – two Generals are in Edo. Then a short scene of Rhode walking in darkness then she said something. It made ‘tails of devils’ envelop her into a huge ball. Outside, Sachiko was controlled by the Earl who is calling all the akumas then Rabi and others realized that the Earl is also in Edo.
Then, after greeting the different akumas that had came, Earl told the others to finish their jobs. Tiki will be going to China to finish off Allen while the others to finish off the two generals in the area. It seems for the Earl and others, humans are the ‘akumas’. The Earl then thought that he doesn’t know why Theodore was there but he is more uneasy that Cross is there for he can’t quite seem to figure out Cross who might be up to something. Then, the last scene was finally back to Allen who is still training with ah..it has been so long, I forgot her name. ^^; Okay, it is Fou. Fou stops as she told the others that Allen’s eye has activated on its own again. Well, it does seem that the Earl is gearing up for the final fight and apparently, Allen still hasn’t gotten his innocence back. I do wonder if later on, Rabi’s group with meet on with Kanda’s group.
In Parfait Tic [c.121], as Ichi leans to kiss Fuuko, Fuuko quickly turns her face to the side and used her hand to shield her lips. It made Ichi pause. I guess he just realized what he was doing and somewhat surprised by Fuuko’s reaction. Ichi then hugged her saying that he won’t give up. Ichi then left Fuuko, shivering and fell on her knees as she called Daiya’s name. Later on, Fuuko asked Daiya’s friend where he was then remembered that Daiya would be working on his part time job. Fuuko felt unease as she thought that she wanted Daiya to hug her to make the pain go away.
Meanwhile, Kagechika [hyper sempai – the surname is just a guess from her kanji with the help of Asher] asked Ichi what was Fuuko’s hair like for that day. She is currenly copying Fuuko’s hairstyle from the colored pic of this chapter. =P Ichi claimed that he doesn’t know as Kagechika insist that he tell her for she didn’t have time to check on Fuuko earlier and when she did, Fuuko has already left school. She asked him what would her hairstyle be the next day. Ichi then bluntly told her afro. Kagechika freaks out and asked him if she really did it, he would be responsible and if that is really a good thing to say. I don’t quite get what Ichi said next, I’m guessing that she is a bit insecure that Kagechika countered if he was thinking she was stupid. She then asked him again if he really didn’t notice Fuuko’s hair. Ichi then told her so what if he knows, would she just copy Fuuko to become Fuuko [he is calling Fuuko – ‘that person’] Ichi told her that it is useless for it won’t make him ‘see’ her. Kagechika was shocked then grabbed Ichi and kissed him on the lips. Hehehe, a dose of your own medicine. It freaked Ichi and asked her what the heck was she doing. Fuuko said that even if Ichi doesn’t see her, she thinks that, he is being blunt because he just wants to say things that he want himself to hear. Does that make sense? I’m guessing that Ichi was saying things honestly/bluntly in order to convince himself about things though he doesn’t necessarily feel that way. Anyway, the remark made Ichi surprised.
At the gas station, Daiya was happy to see Fuuko and asked what’s up. Fuuko doesn’t look to happy and asked if it is about her friends. Fuuko shook her head. Daiya then asked if she has failed grades and that she would be a ‘kouhai’ – lower classmen as Fuuko shouted that isn’t something she want him to tease her about. Then, Daiya finally figured it out as Fuuko still sad and can’t talk about it. Daiya, with Fuuko trying to ask him to wait and calm down a bit, rushes back to the house. Daiya shouted that he can’t be calm and told Fuuko just look at herself at the mirror for Fuuko is already near tears. He shouted where Ichi was and Ichi came out of the room. He asked Ichi what he did to Fuuko. Ichi bluntly said ‘kiss’ [Daiya and Fuuko’s faces looked really shocked] and then..though Ichi wasn’t able to continue as Daiya punched Ichi in his rage. Fuuko crying holds Daiya’s hand to stop Daiya and Daiya looked surprised about it.
Hehehe...things are getting messy. It does seem Fuuko learned her past lesson of telling Daiya of stolen kisses, well, in this case, almost stolen but unfortunately, Daiya didn’t let Ichi finish. I’m sure Daiya would be terribly happy when he learns that Fuuko tried to protect her lips from Ichi unfortunately, this lead to more misunderstanding especially when Fuuko tries to stop Daiya from punching Ichi. Fuuko can’t be really faulted for well, one doesn’t want cousins to kill each other over her. This chapter does seem to focus on ‘stolen kisses’ for Kagechika really did catch Ichi off guard. Wow, Kagechika is getting more aggressive. Anyway, my liking for Ichi has fallen for it is really a ‘no-no’ to try to kiss one’s relative’s girlfriend. Maybe it is just a moment of insanity because of jealous upon knowing that she stayed out for a night with Daiya.
Vampire Knight [c. 18] [thanks to diwj for sharing the english scans] got me thinking a lot of things – speculations and wondering about Yuuki’s actions. ^^; First, the story, Yuuki told Zero that he has to drink Shizuka’s blood so that he won’t slip into level E and she would be like him, a vampire as exchange of giving her blood to Shizuka. At the party, the other vampires are still having fun as Kain tries to find Kaname who has gone missing from the terrance where he was before. Back to the action, Zero then has a brilliant idea, how about drinking Shizuka’s blood when she is already half dead so that way, Yuuki doesn’t have to sacrifice herself. Yuuki must be so shock by such a brilliant idea that she dropped her weapon. Zero insists on getting back at Shizuka and told Yuuki to move for vampires aren’t good as to what they or rather Shizuka has made Yuuki to do. Yuuki kept on insisting on stopping Zero as Zero asked her why she is doing this. Yeah, I want to know why, too. Yuuki didn’t answer and just forced Zero to obey her using her bracelet – the president used it to make Zero bind to Yuuki.
Apprently, Shizuka is jealous for Zero being ‘tamed’ by Yuuki so she used her control over Zero by making Zero hold tightly Yuuki. Yuuki asked Shizuka not to do that for she won’t be trying to do anything rash/escape but then, Shizuka won’t listen to her and finally revealed to Yuuki that she needs more than Yuuki’s blood. So, she drinks a bit of Zero’s blood as punishment for making her jealous or rather, for being tamed by Yuuki. Geez, the word tame seems to mean Zero is a dog, maybe subdued him to be nicer than usual. Then, Shizuka enlightened Yuuki that what Yuuki did would actually hurt Zero more than actually help him. Yuuki then realized it and thought that things would be okay as long as Zero is by her side and hopes the Zero would forgive her. Maybe it is what Yuuki said or something, but it managed to snap Zero out of the trance as he quickly grabbed for Shizuka’s neck before Shizuka bites into Yuuki. Shizuka just have to taunt Zero about her being in control over him and that he can’t even strangle her with his current grip. Zero with sheer willpower bite into his chain as he shot himself on the leg and started to harden his grip on surprised Shizuka. Zero shouted that he won’t let Shizuka take things/people from him again as he then fires his gun at Shizuka.
As usual, Yuuki is stopping Zero again as Shizuka laughs that she can’t be killed that easily. Zero then replied that he isn’t finished as he pulled away from Yuuki and fires some more at Shizuka. Zero then declares that he wants to end everything there for he lived for this day to come. Yuuki interrupts again asking Zero what would happen after that day that Zero has waited for so long. Shizuka then told Yuuki what she doesn’t want to know, Zero plans on dying with Shizuka. Zero confirms it and was about to say something when someone else, interrupts, Ichiru, Shizuka’s bodyguard who just tossed a katana into Zero’s lower arm. Wow, Zero didn’t even flinch from the pain but just looked surprised. Shizuka doesn’t seem that pleased that they were interrupted. Is it my imagination or was Ichiru jealous of how much attention that Shizuka is giving to Zero? Zero then pulls out the katana and told Ichiru that he thought he was dead. Ichiru replies that Zero remembers him then removes his mask and Ichiru looked like Zero. It took me quite some time to actually realize that if Ichiru looked like Zero that means, they are twins. ^^;
Okay, first of, a part of my mind wanted to praise Yuuki for willing to become a vampire just to prevent Zero from going to level E but most of my brain is telling me that what she did is doing more harm than good. Haven’t she thought what are the consequences of becoming a vampire? She would have just become what Zero hates and wouldn’t Zero feel guilty because of it for she did it for him? She even said that she hopes that Zero would forgive her, but then, how could Zero forgive himself for letting her do that? It would have been okay for her to let Shizuka have her blood but when I realized that she would become a vampire because of it, it doesn’t seem right. If Yuuki becomes a vampire, wouldn’t she also be in danger of falling into Level E? Does that mean she would have to ask another favor from Shizuka to keep herself from level E? If say, she is being martyr and it is okay, but would Zero/Kaname allow it so Zero/Kaname would have himself be blackmailed, too. Who would supply blood for them? It does seem pills doesn’t quite work for human turned vampires. Well, Kaname would perhaps oblige to supply for Yuuki though other vampires wouldn’t be happy about that. It is even more unbelievable that when Shizuka actually pointed out to Yuuki that what she did is going to torment Zero more, Yuuki is still willing to let herself be bitten. ^^; Does she want to be punished for what she did so she is going to let herself be bitten? Oh well, if that didn't happen, there would be no story. ^^;
Question: Does drinking the blood of the vampire who made another a vampire to be cured of Level E a one time drink or is it continuous? From Yuuki’s actions, it does seem to be continuous if so, then, her becoming a vampire is really not a good idea. It won’t be long before Shizuka would think of something else to blackmail her/Zero for her blood. If it is a one time drink, Zero’s suggestion of getting it when Shizuka is half-dead is pretty good. I discussed this with Asher, even if she doesn’t read VK, she said how about just defeating Shizuka and well, perhaps make her comatose and draw unlimited supply of blood. How about Kaname doing that and tell Yuuki, that she can stop trying to be martyr? But then, the fact that Kaname seem to knew that Maria is Shizuka and is just letting Zero do the protecting, it does seem that he is up to something. Maybe let them distract Shizuka while he is doing something else against her? After all, wasn’t Kaname for vampire-human friendship whereas Shizuka is one who could destroy that.
Speculation: I do wonder if Shizuka is only bluffing about killing Kaname for she would have already guessed that Yuuki is such a nice girl so there is a high percentage that she would sacrifice herself. Shizuka is pretty hard to kill already being a pure blood but what more if it is Kaname who is still quite young. I highly doubt Yuuki could even kill him even if she wanted to. Next, about her blood to prevent Zero from level E, what if Shizuka is lying and the effect is contrary to what she says? When did Zero realize that Shizuka’s bodyguard is his brother? When he fought with Maria or when Ichiru tossed the katana into his arm? I have a wild theory that Ichiru was the one who betrayed them [Zero and his parents] to Shizuka for he seems to be so devoted to Shizuka. Why would Shizuka be interested in Zero when she already has Ichiru? Could it be because Zero is more resistant to her that Shizuka being proud and all, can’t help wanting to crush him for him to submit to her? Maybe it is just to taunt her pursuers, vampire hunters which could include Zero’s sensei, that she has now the two sons of the Kiriyuu’s working for her. Or, Could it be that Shizuka just want twins for bodyguards? Lol
I feel sorry for Zero. In this story, he is pretty much tortured physically and mentally. I do hope by the time the story ends, he is still intact. For this chapter, he got bite marks, a hole on his leg and a wound on his arm. Obviously, Shizuka underestimated Zero. She just doesn’t realize the extent of what Zero would do just to kill her even to the fact that he has to drink Yuuki’s blood. I guess this is why in Zero doesn’t hesitate anymore the second time around. He needs blood to fulfill that duty even if drinking blood disgust him. He is quite focus on doing that even if Yuuki kept on stopping him. I do wonder if the gun he is using is an ordinary one or it is just the type to only kill ‘low level’ vampires. Wasn’t his bloody rose in Yuuki’s care? Does he have a spare gun to kill vampires? Anyway, his current gun isn’t working on Shizuka but then, thanks to Ichiru, he has a katana that he can stab Shizuka with. Hehehe
Anyway, I’m amazed that a chapter can make me type such a long comment/speculation so it is a good chapter though I don’t quite like what Yuuki did. ^^; As for what would happen next, well, it could be either a brief retreat by Shizuka after all she is all bloodied or Ichiru being talkative about how he survived but then, that would show what happened that night when Shizuka attacked their family. ^_^
