    Nine years ago, I had my kidney transplant so happy ‘extend life’ birthday to me. ^_^ This day pass by with not much happenings except for some new discovered anime to watch. Hehehe

    In One Piece [c. 374], Sanji and others managed to escape and got caught and escape again and only to be caught again. ^^; Sogeking’s plan worked but they were caught by Califa’s thorn whips. Franky sacrificed himself to let them get away but then, Blueno used his dimension door power to get to Robin. Robin willingly go with them as she told Blueno to not harm the others anymore. Sogeking told Robin that as a pirate, she couldn’t leave without the captain’s consent. Blueno told them that is no use for Robin has been traumatized by the ‘buster call’ when she was young and she wouldn’t let that happen to her comrades. They left, leaving Sanji and Sogeking. The last scene was CP9 with two captives, Franky and Robin, are nearing their destination.

    While in Bleach [c.187], Ichigo has sensed a hollow that he quickly turned down Shinji’s offer to join them as he quickly left. Shinji then called up someone about it. Meanwhile, Isshin told Kon to take the protection charm to protect himself. Kon was surprised that Isshin knew about him. Grand Fissure asked where Ichigo was. Isshin said that he didn’t know for it is his policy not to meddle in his children lives though the girls are exception. It took me this far to actually realize that Karin and Yuzu are twins. ^^;; Anyway, Isshin wanted to fight Grand Fissure and Grand Fissure oblige as he grew large. Isshin taught Grand Fissure a lesson that he shouldn’t base the strength of the opponent in regards to the size of one’s zanbantou. I wonder if Ichigo will meet up with his dad in shinigami form and well, if it does happen, it would be interesting how Ichigo would react. Hehehe

    Don’t mess with Ichigo’s dad.

    I just learned that D. Gray-man and School Rumble just got licensed. =( I thought it might be a long time before they would get D. Gray-man for it has just started a year ago. Black Cat is also licensed but then, I thought this would have been licensed earlier. I had lost interest in Black Cat around 3/4 of the story and this has already finished. From what I read, the ending isn’t good. Anyway, if there are no more scanlations, I can always just depend on Chinese scans though I would have to re-orient myself with the names.

    I had just downloaded a couple of chapters of Penguin Revolution. It is the story of a girl, Yukari, who can see the star potential of showbiz personalities depending through the ‘wings’ that they have. The bigger the wings, the greater the potential of being a famous star. She saw two upperclassmates and saw huge peacock wings. Then, she learned that Kyouko, the girl upperclassmate is actually a boy, Ryou, and is a star but then, his wings are small. It turned out that the huge wings belong to Ayaori – the nerdy shabby looking upperclassmate. Yukari’s father tend to quickly lose and get a job so she is rich one day and can become poor the next day. It is time for her to be poor again so Ryou suggested that she be his manager. The boss of his company is this weird guy who likes secrets and if one’s secret is revealed, he/she will be out of the company. Ryou has to keep his being a girl in school a secret and the boss made Yukari pretend to be a boy. The boss tested her out to see if she could detect star potential on new recruits. Of course, she passed it with ease. So, she will stay at Ryou’s apartment who turned out to be living with Ayaori. Then, the next scene was another trap to get to reveal Yukari is a girl.

    Okay, the plot is interesting but what is happening is not that good. The author likes to make up really ridiculous set-up for boys pretending to be girl and girls pretending to be boys and try to reveal it. And, I would follow this series because I like the other guy, Ayaori who looked like Ticky of D. gray-man in his ‘human’ form. I find this guy interesting. Since I think that the author is going to focus on Yukari and Ryou, I’ll just wait for the English scans and not download the Chinese scans. I’m guessing that the plot would be more on how Yukari would gain his wings for now he has ‘penguin’ wings, with the help of Yukari. I’m not sure if it will be a love triangle since the three characters haven’t shown any love interest with anyone.

    Penguin Revolution’s mugshots

    Last night, we watched Transformers: Energon. It is an anime and unfortunately, is dubbed. The voices are really awful that it made the human kid, Kicker, if I recall, sound really bratty and whiny. The story is well, the autobots and the decepticons had made peace but then, that big planet eating thingie was about to revive by three-face robot with the help of tidal wave - huge and dumb transformer who wanted to revive megatron. ^^;; I like the original one better especially on how the transformers are drawn. I managed to somewhat follow this one since I had watched the movie before. I somewhat laughed when Optimus is merging with the others to form into one huge transformer that it is like Power Rangers robot. ^^;; Well, my brother didn’t like it and he actually taught it was a movie so he returned it to be exchanged.

    Afternoon anime watching has gotten interesting. ^_^ Jettv is showing two harem type anime. One of them is from wowow before – Maboraho? which is about a boy who was after by three magicians who wanted his genes for he was suppose to be a great magicians. Something like that. The other one is Yumeria which is about a boy who has to fight ‘aliens’ in his dreams along with sexy dressed up girls who were his friends/classmates and I think one of them is his teacher. The lead guy somewhat reminded me of the lead in Rahxephon.

    I stake out on that channel for I had seen an ad of Detective Loki Ragnarok. I have read before that it was good. I didn’t catch the opening and well, the story is okay. Loki is a kid who has magic and solves crime. I think I need to read more what it is about. ^^; Anyway, the two episodes today dealt with this mysterious kid challenging him and they are in what seem to be an aviary while the other one is about the past of this girl detective as to why she wanted to be one. I think Loki and his assistant has made her and her father ‘go to the past’. Well, the ending made me want to watch the futher episodes. It has a grown-up Loki and one with silhouette with a wing. I like. Hehehe

    I just found this Japanese drama ‘Vampire gigolo’ in the net. I was curious about it and learned that it was based on Kaori Yuki’s Blood Hound. I hope it gets to be shown on tv ^_^ The lead is the actor in Masked Rider Ryuuki – the one who played Ren. Hehehe Acutally, at first I thought that he was acting as a vampire in Masked Rider Ryuuki based on the first episode. ^^;;

    Thought of the day:

    Monday, July 18, 2005 @ 02:55 p.m.

    I watched Gash Bell again yesterday since it has became interesting again. Takamine and Gash are now against this ‘prince’ with a lady in a mask. I think she is the friend of the blond girl who used to be ‘maltreated’ by the townspeople. Yesterday’s episode, Gash and Takamine are pretty much beaten up but they were rescued by the actress. [I lost my list of their names. ^^;] In Yugioh, it is about pharaoh Yugi back in Egypt and there was this guy who possessed Bakura is out to wreck havoc. Yugi is still trying to figure out what his name is.

    In Naruto, they are already in getting Sasuke back who ran away to be with Orochimaru. The story progress slowly and what happened last episode was just Sasuke eating some pills and the foursome noticing that Naruto and the others are already nearby. While in One Piece, the Skypiea arc is almost ending as most of the crew has re-group and Luffy is going to Eneru’s ship to ‘beat’ him up. Next episode is a flashback on the past about Jaya Island.

    I got to watch Doll Master [Korean horror movie] on tv last night. I just mute the sound and just read the subtitles. The story is about this group of people who went to this museum-type house with lots of dolls. They were asked to model for dolls. The mannequin dolls in the rooms and gallery are quite scary looking. Anyway, things got out of hand when the novelist with a doll started to accuse the female sculptor of killing her doll. Then, the novelist got killed and the rest followed, leaving only the sculptor alive.

    The revelation is quite cliché. The doll maker is actually possessed by a doll bent on revenge against the ancestors of the people gathered there for ‘killing’ her maker. Along side this, there is this doll spirit of the sculptor, Mina, who was doing the dirty work. At the end, Mina was killed by the doll maker when she tried to protect the sculptor. Then, the husband of the doll maker killed her to get rid of the doll spirit and killed the brother who was an accomplice of the vengeful doll. So, the survivors are the sculptor and the husband.

    This story could have been better. It would have been interesting if the other dolls would actually do the killings. It just seemed that it was only Mina doing it. There was even a hint that the smaller dolls could be alive with that reddish glow of one of the doll’s eyes. I didn’t even get why she was abandoned by the sculptor when she was young...just bored with it? Mina seems to have the power of teleportation earlier or rather moves fast, I find it somewhat silly as to how couldn’t she save her ‘doll body’ from that possessed doll maker and just stood there as the doll maker ‘killed’ her. Anyway, I can say that sleeping in a room with a live-size doll/mannequin can be quite scary. It reminded me of that night of sis’ wedding. A headless mannequin wearing a wedding gown in the hotel room where we slept, was enough to kept me awake throughout the night. ^^;; Sigh, overactive imagination. Hehehe

    Sunday, July 17, 2005 @ 05:46 p.m.

    I just got home from church and well, driving around with bro and mom. We meet up with sis in a little while for her to inject me with the ‘blood increase’ serum. Hehehe Bro teasingly told her to put band aid on it so that it won’t be infected. I just removed it and that band aid is sure sticky that removing it causes pain almost the equivalent of the injection. ^^;;

    We went to this mall to look for something to hang clothes on. Mom didn’t find the one she is looking for. While walking at the kid section, my bro kept on picking on clothes from the rack and flipping it on me. Then, we noticed that mom was looking at that particular t-shirt that bro tried to fling on me. She ended up buying some clothes there as well as bro. ^^;;;

    The other day, I saw in wowow, this Korean movie called Love so Divine. It stars the guy in Stairway to Heaven, Kwon Sang Woo. He looked somewhat young here and when he was interviewed, he looked much younger. Could it be because of the make-up in the shows? Anyway, the story is a comedy-drama. It is about a bumbling soon-to-be a priest who met this sexy girl and the plot is pretty much like they had fallen in love so would he give it all up for priesthood or not. The advertisement pretty much showed what seem to be the highlights of the movie. I found myself laughing at some scenes. The only part that is missing is what happened in the end. There was no schedule when it will be shown only July 16 but I looked out on it that day, but it wasn’t shown..could it be a movie preview?

    I have a little nitpick on the local dub of Oh Phil Seung the other night. There was this scene where the other guy tried to shame the lead because he can’t speak English. In the kor dub, the others really speak English in a very thick Korean accent that one couldn’t understand what they are saying. The joke was that the lead would reprimand them of speaking in such a bad accent that one doesn’t understand what they are talking about. In the local dub, they made the English clear – no accent – that somehow I felt that the joke is lost. And yet, another reason why I tend to watch the original dub rather than the local dub.

    I just downloaded SB! and VK today. ^_^ Lucky. In Vampire Knight [c.7], after Zero and the others left, there was this mysterious guy who checked out the dust that was the vampire that got killed. During meal time, Zero and Yuuki were pretty quiet. Yuuki was thinking about the invitation of the two to talk of something regarding vampires and Yuuki wanted to know about it. The principal also gave Zero some pills. I think it is to prevent a vampire from lusting over blood.

    That night, Yuuki went with Zero to the night school. Zero brought along his gun even though Yuki told him not to. They learned that it was a birthday party of one of the vampires, katana guy. Then, they explained to Yuuki that there are classes of vampires..blah...blah..I don’t understand except that at level E, the vampire loses one’s own self and couldn’t control himself, which was what the vampire that attacked Yuuki is. Guran invited them in and asked Yuuki to sit beside him. He then ‘sucked’ Yuuki’s wound from earlier and while doing that, Guran was telling them why they killed off that vampire. Yuuki then told him that killing vampires are vampire hunter’s job. Then, Guran asked why he didn’t kill it earlier, could it be that they are ‘allies’. This pretty much irked Zero that he pointed his gun at Guran as a girl pointed her hand at Zero..must be the sharp nails that caused Zero’s throat to bleed a little.

    Don’t mess with me!

    Guran told the girl to back down and it was his fault for being out of line. The girl did as she was told as Zero also lowered his gun. The others were talking that if it weren’t for Guran, their ‘boss’?, Zero would be in deep trouble. It was then revealed that Guran is a level A, and a vampire of that kind has wiped out Zero’s family. At the principal’s office, the principal was talking to someone..the mysterious guy earlier. Since the words are simplified Chinese and the scans are small, I couldn’t quite make out what they are talking except that it is about Zero and the mysterious guy is a vampire hunter. Back at the party, katana guy got his hand cut when bored guy was handling a knife to cut the cake. Bored guy was sucking the wound and it made Zero lose control that he quickly ran out. When Yuuki saw Zero going out, Yuuki followed him out. The others asked Guran if it is okay to leave them be. Guran, looking a bit sad, said that Yuuki will one day go to him.

    While running, Yuuki realized that her wound was healed when Guran sucked on it and then, she stepped on Zero’s pill box and found Zero breathing hard near the pool. When he vomited blood, Yuuki rushed to his side. I’m not sure but I think Zero said that he wasn’t drinking his pills and when he was losing control again and was about to bite into Yuuki. Yuuki quickly thought of a way to snap him out of it by throwing themselves into the pool. It worked as Zero snapped out of it. After surfacing up to the water, Zero got shot on his right shoulder. It was the vampire hunter earlier as he said that he never thought that he would be using his gun to shoot his student. After recovering from his shock, Zero turned around and called the man, his teacher.

    Shot by his sensei =(

    Hehehe...the story is getting interesting. I wished I understood about the kind of vampires thing since I thought it was important to the story later on. I feel sorry for Zero. ^^; He is being ‘teased’ by the vampires but then, his hate for vampires doesn’t make things easier. Now, his teacher is going to give him a few more headaches aside from those pain attacks he have when he crave for blood. Regarding the pill, I think one has to put it in a cup of blood to work and I guess that Zero still couldn’t bring himself to drink blood even though at the end, he would just lose control anyway and well..bite into someone.

    In Skip beat! [c. 71], Ren rememebered his past lovers and thought that it is really different when hugging Kyouko that he instinctly gave her a squeeze while still hugging her after protecting her from the fall. Kyouko was surprised about it for he should have already back away, acting as the guy who couldn’t show affection to the one he loves. She called out to him that he snapped out of it and quickly thought of a way out of his predicament without making it obvious that he liked her. Ren then touched Kyouko’s lips and asked if she has ever kissed someone. She replied no then Ren smiled and asked if he would want to teach her. As he bends closer, Kyouko freaked out as she put her hands on Ren’s mouth and shouted for him to wake up from his hallucination that she is her cousin. That snapped him out of it. Hehehe

    Kiss me not!

    Ren quickly moved away from Kyouko as he was surprised with his actions. He had totally forgot that he was acting. He was actually acting himself – his real self. He was shaking over this realization that Kyouko thought that he was depressed and overly shocked over it but then, she got pretty angry when she realized that Ren is actually laughing. Kyouko said that she isn’t happy that Ren was teasing her. Ren made an alibi that he was actually ‘teaching’ her to be careful when going to a guy’s house for such things can happen. Ren happily thought about what had happened as he realized that he had acted his real himself – not the actor, Ren - and it was Kyouko who brought it out.

    Meanwhile, Kyouko was busy cooking something. She was reflecting on Ren’s alibi and that she tried to stop herself from shouting that what he did makes him a threat to women – a Casanova. Then, she thought that after the fall, Ren seemed to be a different person – he isn’t acting nor is he acting as Ren. Then, Ren called out her name that made surprised Kyouko. Ren told her that the play-acting ends there and that he already knows how to do the part. Kyouko was very happy about it. This chapter is pretty good that it gave me a peak on who Ren really was like. Mm..more like a playboy. ^^;;; Anyway, the next chapter would be a bit boring I guess since Ren would now be trying to prove that he can do this part to the president much like what Kyouko did earlier.

    Friday, July 15, 2005 @ 03:01 p.m.

    Unfortunately, Trinity Blood didn’t follow up the last episode. There is now a new character – a pretty cool vampiress who can’t hit a moving target. ^^; Okay, let’s just say that she is just too angry that caused her to be like that. She and Abel were chasing this vampire who had killed her mentor/lover/whatever when she was held hostage by the vampire and the guy lowered his guard and thus got killed. In the end, they laid a trap for the vampire and he was finished off. The vampiress then went to report to this kid who looked like Ascot of Rayearth. ^^; Based from wowow site, I guess that the next one is the last episode.

    In Shuffle!, the lead is just too nice for his own good that he got another ‘different’ race girl latching on to him. ^^; I guess that completes his small harem based on the opening. Most of the episode was having him hiding from some guys and wanting to be alone. This is fast boring me.

    I watched Attack No. 1 last night since there is nothing to watch. In this episode, the lead got out of her slump and wanting to escape from it all after being forced to quite that team. I guess that team is somewhat like a national team or something. Anyway, next episode would have her friend backstabbing her since her friend is jealous of her. This volleyball drama is pretty much like a Cinderella type story. ^^;

    Then, I started following The Green Rose [kor drama]. It is about this guy who has fallen for a rich girl. While working at the girl’s company, he was called to the girl’s house only to found himself being framed for attempted murder. So, he is out to prove that he is innocent after getting a chance to get out of jail courtesy of his mother who had committed suicide. I’m waiting for him to re-invent himself and as he is out for revenge. This drama reminds me of Fugitive. ^^;; I still couldn’t watch this on time that I always watched at the middle or near the end. ^^; I’m hoping that someone would lend this to us. Hehehe

    Thursday, July 14, 2005 @ 02:42 p.m.

    I had finished watching the Honey and Clover episodes that I got. I skipped out episode 5 & 6 since it was corrupted. The episodes are a bit episodic so it doesn’t really matter if I had skipped. This series’ story moves quite fast. At around episode 9, I think, about 2 years had passed. I found myself liking the seiyuu’s voice of Mayama. ^^;

    I watched Fullmetal Panic! 2nd raid last night. The first 3/4 of the episode is on saving these people from some military men. After that, Sagara, I think that’s the lead’s name, went to school only to be shouted at by the lead girl. The next episode is more on school life. I guess I don’t quite enjoy it since I haven’t seen the first series. Regarding Shuffle!, it seemed that the two new girls wanted to be the lead’s wife. ^^; I guess it is another one of those many girls only one guy whom will he pick to be his gf/lover.

    I’m watching Attack Number 1 [jap drama] from time to time. It is based on a manga and it is on volleyball. Just like Ace no –something, the coach is pretty much strict and making it hell for the girls in the team. The lead was suddenly chosen as the captain, which made the other girls resentful of her. One even accused her being the daughter of the coach so she was made into captain. Haha..imagine that girl’s shock when she learned that it was she who was the daughter of the coach. They became friends then the coach did another weird ‘bully’ thing as he got the captain who made everyone work together to quit. ^^; The poor girl, just when she got everyone by her side.

    In D. Gray-man [c. 54], Allen decided to use his arm to try to amputate Soman’s arm to get to the Innocence to save Soman’s life. The operation was successful but it left Soman – brain dead. Allen was content with that as long as he is alive until Ticky came and killed off Soman. Poor Allen, all that work came to nothing. Actually, I’m worried about Allen being all alone with Ticky. Mm..hopefully, the others will get there already..but then, I had been thinking what the others are up to all that time. The writer is on a break so no chapter for next week. I had been reading about this series having similarities with FMA. Honestly, I don’t see the similarity. ^^;; D. Gray-man seems to have gaining popularity. ^_^

    Wednesday, July 13, 2005 @ 03:37 p.m.

    I had watched two episodes of Honey and Clover. It was pretty good and I decided to continue watching this one. It is about basically about the lives and loves of these art students. The story starts with a little about the three guys. Takamoto is the new guy and the narrator. Mayama is the architecture student who seemed to have a relationship with this girl who is into pottery/ceramics. Of course, the one who stands out is Morita who comes and goes because of a mysterious part-time job, which pays a lot that he treats the others out. He can be hyperactive at times and has a different mind frame.

    Then, there was this girl, Hagu, who was brought in by their teacher. Takamoto has a crush on her while Morita tends to ‘bully’ her into different poses since she is quite small. But then, Morita tend to ‘bully’ the others too. The animation is really nice. The opening is playing with food..the last scene of shrimp fingers somewhat scare me though. ^^; There is an in-between song and the preview at the ending is presented in a pretty unique way.

    In FMA [c. 49], Bradley had a chat with Pride who is still hidden in the dark. Bradley updated him as to what had happened and that he seemed to wanted ‘free will’ rather than obeying their ‘father’. Pride let that slip. Meanwhile, Envy is having a little chat with Dr. Marcoh about going to the North and making a huge Philosopher’s stone. They were interrupted by Bradley. Bradley told Envy to go get Gluttony.

    At a worn out house near a forest, the others were attacked by Gluttony who had transformed or rather Gluttony’s mouth has extended to his stomach with an eye in it and fangs all around. Roy tried to toast him but the stomach just ate his flames. They all have to run for it. Ed made a diversion as the others escape in the doctor’s car. Roy’s wounds are not yet healed so he has to go with them. Only Ed, Al, Ling and Mei’s panda were left behind. As they hide and try to figure out a way to capture Gluttony, the panda reacted to a horse. The horse then transformed into Envy as he greeted Ed and Ling. Oh, another battle..mm, there are lots of battles lately.

    I had a little scare a while ago. On our way home from the store, I noticed this guy walking really fast barefooted. I thought he was just a worker and is hurrying to eat his lunch. At around the corner, we saw these two men in blue polo holding up their guns as they were in a bit of hurry. Then, a lot of people are behind them – the bystanders who are observing the happenings. It took a bit of time for me to realize that they are after the barefooted guy as they went in the direction where he went.

    Last I saw them, they said that the guy went into this driveway in a building. After I told it to my mom, my mom told me to hurry up walking. She told me that next time we should walk fast and not as if we are strolling at the park. ^^; I guess thieves are going to increase with the economic problems lately. Anyway, thank God, that the barefooted guy haven’t thought of making as hostage and I didn’t have eye contact with the guy. Mm..I don’t think he has a weapon though..he is just holding something in a plastic bag which earlier, I thought was his lunch.

    Monday, July 11, 2005 @ 03:17 p.m.

    I wasn’t able to get ready on time yesterday to go out with bro so I just stayed home. I just arranged the movie files in my computer so that I can return the hard disk to bro-in-law. He and sis dropped by yesterday. I watched an episode of Aquarion and it just made me want to get it again – the episodes that got deleted. The animation is really good that bro and dad was asking why it was so clear. Though, my bro found it corny when the mecha’s hand had pushed the enemy all the way to the moon. So, I’ll get it for the art since I don’t particularly like the characters nor do I like the scenes when they fuse.

    I had watched the ending of Snow White/Taste Sweet Love. It was only then that sis told us that someone is going to lend it to us. ^^; So, we are currently watching that ones that we didn’t get to watched – the latter half of the series. It was obviously from the net because the video and sound quality is pretty much the ones that I had downloaded. I can even see the pixels. I must say that the actress was pretty good with her disguise that I was surprised that she was really the lead in 1% of Anything.

    In the ending, she did ended up with the younger brother. I think the writer somewhat lost focus at the near end. There was a scene when the younger brother was telling his father that he is going to marry and stuff but later on, that scene wasn’t followed upon that it seemed to have no relevance. Also, the lead’s powerful strength is somewhat not connected to the story anymore when it was a bit of a focus at the start – as to how she met the older brother.

    I had finished watching Oh Phil Seung! The ending isn’t as bad as I thought which my bro and mom doesn’t like. Phil did proved himself in this company to become its CEO but then, his unorthodox ways were unacceptable for the others that he was forced to quit and well, he wasn’t too happy being there. In the end, all of the lives of everyone he has touched had changed for the better. He still has contact with his grandmother and stepmother through mail. His ex-rival has changed his view on love. The West Market sales has increased. And, his lover followed him to Busan where he stays/works. There was no mention of Phil’s secretary. Overall, it was an okay drama though I didn’t get really ‘into’ in it.

    Bleach [c. 186] got me re-reading the old chapters because of a new revelation there. Ryuuken, Ishida’s father, saved Ishida. Ishida was quite surprised that his father has Quincy powers for he told him before that he isn’t interested in it. Ryuuken told him that he was the successor because he has the Quincy Cross, which used to belong to Ishida’s grandfather.

    Do you know what this is?

    After finishing off the hollow, Ryuuken told Ishida that he can return Ishida’s lost powers with a condition and that is not to get involved with shinigamis anymore. Meanwhile, Kon is trying his best to get away from Grand Fissure but was eventually caught. Just when Grand Fissure was to give him the final blow, Kon was shielded by the charm. Someone told Kon that he has told him to always have the charm on him and told Grand Fissure that Ichigo is not here now so why don’t Grand Fissure ‘play’ with him for now. It was Isshin, Ichigo’s father who turned out to be a shinigami and based on that white coat, he isn’t an ordinary shingiami but a captain.

    Isshin is here to save the day

    This is a surprise revelation because it was mentioned before that Isshin was suppose to not see any spirits and it was assumed that his children got their ability from the mother but since it was revealed that he was a shinigami that would mean, the ability could have came from him. I did wonder why he didn’t help that time when Ichigo first met with Grand Fissure but then, I guess it is a hidden identity. It is also a puzzle as to how he could have given birth to children since a shinigami is actually a spirit unless he had a gigai, which he could have gotten from Urahara. It is quite amusing that he managed to hide this secret identity for so long. Anyway, I guess in the next chapter, Isshin will get a crack at Grand Fissure for Grand Fissure was the one who has killed his beloved wife. And, I do wonder if Ishida would accept his father’s offer – return his powers or remain friends with Ichigo. I can’t wait for the next chapter. ^_^ Also, it would be interesting if ever Isshin and Ryuuken knew each.

    There was a bomb blast in London and the casualties were a lot. I had to check my European friend's summer itinerary if she was there, thankfully, she's not. Well, in our country, we have other problems. The news here is the cabinet members of the president are asked to resign and there is the usual noise of asking the president to resign, people wanting to be president or restructure the government. Because of all this, the peso to dollar exchange is higher again. I guess that means stuff would also be increasing for the meantime. Anyway, hope that they would sort all the trouble before the economy plunges down...ah, it is already plunging down. ^^;;

    Last night’s Trinity Blood is somewhat interesting. The priest who wanted to put the bells had imprisoned Catherine while the group AX? got a new member, the sword dancer guy. Then, the priest was going to kill Catherine so Abel came to save her. It turned out to be an illusion, it was really the vampire that he had to failed to kill. They fought. Meanwhile, AX went to stop the priest from ringing the bells – silent noise system which can destroy buildings. They have to fight off a jellyfish type monster and managed to capture the priest.

    Back to Abel, he transformed to a higher level with wings and managed to defeat the vampire. The vampire then told him something which pretty much distraught Abel and I’m assuming that there is something about it that involves him for the vampire is calling him Abel-sama. Abel lost his will to kill the vampire who made his escape. Abel collapse as Catherine rushes to him. Elsewhere, someone who looked somewhat like Abel in white clothes is standing on top. I guess he is the one whom people call Cain, Abel’s brother/twin?.

    In Shuffle!, it is about a boy living with a girl. I’m not sure of their relationship though it doesn’t seem to be romantic. They went to school and we got introduced to a couple of their classmates. There are three races in this world – human, short pointed ears and long pointed ears. Then, the boy met a short pointed ear girl in the grocery and a long pointed ears girl in the playground. Later on, they became his classmates and not only that, his neighbors. ^^; The animation is okay and the boy’s seiyuu sounds familiar.

    I wonder if the portable harddisk is defective or files/folders get corrupted when it is full. Of the three folders full of episodes, one is corrupted. It is the one that has many episodes in it. I have to set it up again and gave up on the ones that I’m not interested in watching anymore. The priority is more on Bleach and GSDestiny.

    I gave up on Erementar Gerad because it bores me and I’m interested only in the blond side character. ^^; I read that the anime pretty much changed the characters especially Coud. Futago Hime is fun to watch even though it is sometimes too cute for me. It somewhat reminded me of that Puffy cartoon in cartoon network. I’m somewhat interested in Princess Leone with those cute cat ears and fangs. Hehehe So, I’ll continue with this one.

    I finally got to watch Spirited Away that Asher lend to me. We got a brand new dvd player and it works there. The story is engaging though I found the English seiyuu of the girl somewhat irritates me. I guess it is her character to be whiny. ^^;; We are now almost finished with Oh! Phil Seung. My bro is pretty much into it that he watched it up to 4am the other night. My mom and I have to catch up where he last watched.

    My father doesn’t like anime art. I don’t really blame him for not liking the anime posters that we bought for as I mentioned, that RKenshin poster has an ugly-scary looking character. My dad says it gives him a headache and wanted to find some scenic posters to replace them.

    In D.Grayman [c. 53], Allen’s arm is starting to act up and has become quite painful. Soman is causing havoc at the village and stopped when he heard someone calling out dad. A boy was calling out to his father who was hurt/dead. He remembered his past then he cried out. It is already time’s up for him as his body deteriorates. Allen was about to give up in pain when Timcampi slaps and bites him to do something. ^^; Allen met up with Soman who apologizes for everything. Allen then uses his arm again even if something is ripping inside it.

    Monday, July 4, 2005 @ 05:38 p.m.

    Yesterday, mom went out with us to church though she went to the Edsa shrine church. We were a bit early than usual but GCF is pretty crowded during the 11pm church service that I spend the whole time standing up. ^^; It cost my brand new rubber shoes – used less than 5x - because after the service, bro noticed that the side design of the shoes were ripped off. Bro suggested that we just glue it at the side as if it is a design. ^^;;

    We picked up mom later on and ate at a Japanese restaurant which somewhat pioneered Japanese cuisine in the city but this latest trip somewhat made us decide not to go back here anymore since the food isn’t the good anymore as it was before. After that, we walked around the mall a bit. I noticed an empty store which Comic alley, an anime/manga merchandise shop, might be moving to so I dragged them to where the store is. There is a sale but unfortunately, the Chinese manga they had are either old ones that I already have or the titles that I don’t like. It was my mom who got to buy something there. Bro and I was wondering why mom was looking at the laminated posters and thought that mom was just browsing around. She will use it as cover for this sliding door at the store for the posters, which used to be there were already torn. Bro chose a Rurouni Kenshin poster of Kenshin, Sano and that guy, the one who replaced Kenshin as an assassin whom the author patterned after Gambit, (forgot his name). ^^; The other poster is of Anna and Manta from Shaman King. Bro said that it reminded him of his children. Hehehe

    We then shopped for some kitchen utensils. I find it amusing as my bro was looking at which can opener to buy by looking at the gears. If it is ‘cool’ looking, he thinks it is pretty strong but then, it does make sense since the ‘cool’ looking ones are pretty expensive. After that, we stopped over at sis’ house. I transferred the remaining episodes that I asked bro-in-law to download and brought the hard disk home. I got a haircut later on then we ate dinner and went home.

    And, this morning, I kept myself busy at the store by putting up the posters at the sliding door. I would have to clean up the tables again since it is a mess again after I had just tidied it up the other day. I even made a small list of to-dos. I got a surprise yesterday when I saw my picture on it. It turned out that my bro has taken a picture of me while I was taking a nap. No wonder he acted suspicious when I woke up all of a sudden and found him standing in front of me. ^^;;

    In Bleach [c.185], Kon in Ichigo’s body was surprised to be attacked by the Grand Fissure as Urahara and Yoruichi noticed what’s happening around. Rukia’s replacement watched at Ichigo and Shinji. Shinji told Ichigo that they are appearing. Ichigo didn’t care about that for he wanted to know who Shinji was. Shinji then took out a hollow mask to a surprised Ichigo.

    Does this look familiar?

    Shinji then told him that he is from the ‘army of hollow masks’ – forgot the term for it. ^^; He then told Ichigo that they are the same so he should join them instead of with them – I assumed that he meant the shinigamis or humans. Meanwhile, Ishida managed to dodge the attack of the hollow and wondered if it was a menos since it managed to appear out of nowhere/from a different dimension like the menos. Ishida managed to fight by using some of his stored powers in containers but it was useless for the hollow just regenerated his arm. The hollow then became two separate beings and was about to hit Ishida when someone rescued him who called him by his name.

    In One Piece [c.373], Franky is being beaten up that Nero thought that Franky’s transformation was useless but then, Franky managed to pin Nero down with his legs. Then, Franky told him that with two pair of legs, he can hold the enemy down and punch him with all his might which Franky did that they fell down to CP9’s carriage. Sanji and Franky chat a bit as CP9 finished off Nero for not following orders and being too weak. Lucci then started to tell them about Robin being a devil who is better off dead than cause destruction in the world. Sanji tried to kick him but it was hold back by Lucci. Lucci told then told him that they will kill her after torturing her to reveal all the secrets and information she knows.

    Just then, Robin enters their carriage with Soge King who is trying to stop Robin. Robin pushes Soge King as she told them that they don’t get what she has told them. Lucci was laughing as if this just proved what he said. Soge King then told Franky to detached the carriage behind them. They were all puzzled. Soge King then created a smoke bomb then grabbed Robin who was protesting. Sanji and Franky cheered him on as the carriage got detached. I think the author will take a break.

    Gotcha!

    Something to look forward in the coming days: Skip Beat! New chapter after a month of waiting because Nakamura had a break. From the summary, it would be fun to read. I’m mustering all my patience to not check out the Japanese scans and wait for the Chinese scans. ^_^; Then, Vampire Knight will be out soon too. From the colored pic, the guys are looking pretty much the same. ^^;; Nevertheless it is pretty nice. It seemed that Yuuki and Zero is the pair in this story – they are chained together. I got the pictures from Hakusensha site.

    Can I touch you? Yuuki’s harem? hehehe

    Friday, July 1, 2005 @ 01:18 p.m.

    I don’t feel too good today and it could be because of lack of sleep, allergy or going to get a cold – either or combination of the three. ^^; My daily routine has a bit changed since my bro has living temporarily? with us. He claims that our aircon is too cold and puts the thermostat at a very low level. When he wakes up, he opens the am radio to listen to the news – his telenovela regarding those congressional hearings on the tapes. I now have someone who tries to ‘claim’ the television. ^^;;

    I think maybe next time, I’ll just record the late night anime shown in wowow. My mom wants a curfew of 11pm but those anime are shown at 11pm, which is really 12am in Japan. Trinity Blood will most probably end at episode 13. Shuffle! will be shown after it and that is a bit of a boy living with girls as neighbors of different races..I forgot what kind. ^^;; Fullmetal Panic 2 will be on Wednesday night. Wowow is into Korean dramas lately, too.

    In Trinity Blood, Abel was devastated with the death of Noel that he wanted to quit the priesthood. So much for thinking that she won’t die. ^^;; Then, there are some internal problems within the Vatican as the brother and sister of the pope are quarrelling and this guy pulling a rope to ring the bell. I don’t understand the significance of that. Esther had a brief appearance as she tried to comfort Abel but it was futile.

    I finally found the song that I like in Sorry I love you. Last Friday night, I saw a video of the song in Arirang. I immediately copied that title – Snowflake by Park Hyo Shin. It was only yesterday when I managed to look for it on the net. I learned that it is originally a Japanese song – Snow Flower by Nakashima Mika. It was really pretty hard to find it because it is pretty old. I had even registered into this forum but it turned out that the link is old – no longer exists. I got the Japanese one, which is also pretty hard to find, and only after I got it and surfed though Chinese sites.

    There is a nice colored page on D. Grayman [c.52]. ^_^ All of the cast are lying down encircling Allen who is standing up. The motif is purple and black. It is the first year anniversary of the series so a nice colored page. Hehehe Rinali learned from Komui that Soman could have ‘sold’ information about them to the enemy and has asked for mercy from the enemy hence, the innocence wanted to kill him. Allen is still trying to stop Soman from self-destruction by shouting to him about wanting to live and see his family again. Soman somewhat snap out of it. As Allen was about to try to cut the innocence from Soman, his own innocence has reached its limit.

    I discovered today that one should bend the ‘lip’ of the cap when wearing it. I don’t know if it is just a personal style but my bro told me that, that is the way to do it. ^^;; Weather is crazy as usual with sudden hotness then rain then hot. It causes humidity as if one is in a sauna..well, I think that it what it seemed to be since I have never been in a sauna. Hehehe

    A breaking news happened yesterday. The president actually admitted that it was she who was in the tapes/cds that has been spreading around talking with a Comelec [elections office] official during the elections. Well, supposedly after the counting and such. She looked a bit teary and downcast though for some like my bro, she looked insincere. I wonder where this will lead to for as usual, her supporters praised her for it and told people to move on while for the opposition, she should resign.

    In Bleach [c184], Ishida has fixed Kon back. Kon prevents Ishida from putting extra ‘cute/girly’ designs on him though Ishida managed to sneak in a cross at the back of Kon’s head. Through Inoue’s tip, Ichigo realized that Ishida has lost his Quincy powers. At school, a new student was introduced, Hirako Shinji who somewhat looked like Gin. He writes his name backwards as if one is looking at it through the mirror. Ichigo didn’t quite pay attention as he was thinking about Ishida and was interrupted when Shinji greeted him. They will be seatmates. Suddenly, Ichigo’s amulet rang so Ichigo went out with that bathroom excuse. Chad told Shinji that Ichigo isn’t being rude, he is just different. Shinji smiles as he said that Ichigo is what he thought he will be.

    Back at Ichigo’s house, Kon is complaining of not being able to go out and do his ‘pervert’ ways and it was fun being in Ichigo’s body. The amulet alarmed again so Ichigo went out. Kon is smiling for he plans to go out in Ichigo’s body. Ichigo easily finishes the job when he met with a shinigami who was in charge after Rukia left. Ichigo tried showing the amulet but was suddenly attacked from behind by Shinji who has a zanbantou. Shinji told him to be quiet for others would hear him, he who has a great spiritual pressure. Ichigo asked who and Shinji won’t tell. Elsewhere, Ishida was attacked by a hollow and Grand fisher who has a katana which wasn’t there before, could be a zanbantou, came out to attack Kon who was in Ichigo’s body.

    It is interesting that in both of Ichigo and Ishida’s scenes of someone/thing behind them. For Ichigo, he realized it immediately and managed to fight Shinji off. As for Ishida, he didn’t realize it immediately. The next scene was Ishida turning around and looking surprised. I wonder what will happen in the next chapter. I can relax about Ishida since the author is not known for killing of his characters. Hehehe

    Look behind you..

    In One Piece [c372], Franky and Nero are still fighting. Nero discovered Franky’s weakness – at his back so Franky decided to morph himself into a centaurus. He freakingly created a new set of his lower body. O_o Meanwhile, Sanji is still fighting noodle guy. He managed to get all of the noodles from noodle guy’s body. The noodle guy kept on badmouthing Robin that Sanji gets angry and kick him that the noodle guy actually became ‘beautiful’ because of it. ^^;; Anyway, the last blow got noodle guy flying through CP9’s carriage that CP9 has noticed Sanji.

    Sunday, June 26, 2005 @ 05:10 p.m.

    I was at the store the whole day again yesterday and I was so tired that I just rested. My body is still aching a bit today. I guess I really lack stamina or well, exercise. I’m stressed out already. My brother stayed with us last night and we went to church this morning. Our house is pretty much a mess these days since I haven’t gotten things cleaned up since I’m too tired. Maybe tomorrow.

    My brother took my flip phone and replaced it with a P900. He told me to play with it. I still haven’t gotten to do that. I’m planning to Bleach-ified it. Hehehe My bro said that flip phones are not strong since the flips can easily snap. I wonder though why most Japanese and Koreans use it when it is not that strong. ^^;

    The other night, I stumbled upon this French channel showing a movie on WW2 on gays. It is subtitled so I got to understand it. It is about this guy, Jacques or was it Jean. ^^;; Anyway, he has two lovers – one is gay, Philippe while the other one is a Jewess named Sara or Yvonne which is her alias. Their set-up is quite unusual. It is messed up when Jean’s younger brother has fallen for Sara and was insanely angry when he learned that his brother was gay.

    I think France is allied with Germany then. The younger brother has been doing spy work and such with the Nazi and he got this guy to ‘punish’ his brother by jailing him for a day. It somewhat got out of hand for they learned Jean was gay so before they knew it, he was sent to a camp for ‘rehabilitation’. Later on, the Nazi learned of Philippe’s work, I didn’t get to watch the start, and was about to arrest him. Philippe resisted arrest and got killed. Sara went to the younger brother who took her in and managed to get her to marry him. Meanwhile, at the camp, Jean was too good for his own good that he was pretty compassionate to this gay who was dying that he got himself sent to a ‘no return’ camp.

    After the war, the younger brother got arrested for collaboration. He committed suicide in jail when his mother and Sara learned that it was he who has sent Jean in prison in the first place so his alibi that he collaborated only because he wanted to save his brother. He really did it because he is greedy for money and luxury. Jean was set free unfortunately, the camp he was sent was where people are experimented and such that Jean is beyond saving. He spends the last days of his life at his house tended by Sara and his parents. The last scene was Sara became a grandmother and together with her son [whose father was the younger brother] and ah..girlfriend? went to visit a memorial for people killed in the war. The last credits were that it was only in the 2000s something when it was accredited that gays were also tortured and killed during the WW2 era. Moral lesson: Jealousy can ruin lives.

    I am re-doing SMT:Nocturne because I gave up a skill which was suppose to be important to defeat the last extra boss. The ‘monsters’ I got are pretty much weak since the last boss only takes small amount of damage but it causes damage in huge amounts. Hopefully, I could defeat him since I want to finish this game already and move on.

    Friday, June 24, 2005 @ 06:21 p.m.

    I was at the store the whole day yesterday and I managed to draw something even though it was not as I intend it to be. ^^; I was planning to post a new blog pic after I finished it today but because of circumstances that happened today, I decided to stick with this one.

    It is quite irritating when two shows that I would want to watch are shown at the same time. One is a Korean drama, Oh Phil Young! that is about Phil Young who was a poor guy and later learned that he was actually the grandson of this rich woman. Pretty much like Cinderella but for a male lead. I surprised myself that I actually recognized the lead in this drama. He was in the first Korean drama that I have seen – Wish Upon a Star and he is a singer there. He looked pretty different here as in he looked better before. ^^;; From the title screen, his picture there is a bit the same as he looked before..ah, thanks to digital retouch?

    The other one is Orange days, a Japanese drama. It is about this just-graduated psychology student who was helping this violinist who had lost her hearing just four years ago. Then, there is of course, his two friends, one is a playboy who doesn’t know what to do with his life after graduating while the other one is the shy type haven’t had a girlfriend before. I read that this drama was pretty good that it has made people want to study sign language.

    In Trinity Blood, Abel and Noel[?], a nun, were assigned to a new mission. They pretty much spend the time – dating. I assume that Noel has a crush on him but he is just clueless. Then, they found the professor who created that ‘fairy’ kids in the last episode. The professor was dead and a vampire who is actually faster than Abel was behind it. The vampire caused certain building to collapse and Noel was in there. I don’t quite think she will die for so far, no one except the bad guys have died here. Anyway, the vampire escaped which made Abel pretty frustrated. It is times like this when I wished I understood what they are saying. I guess last week’s episode isn’t a filler. I read in a blog that it was in the novel though very much chopped and missing a chapter. ^^;;

    I can narrate what happened in D. Gray-man [c51] in one sentence. Hehehe..Allen couldn’t stop Soman from attacking the village so Allen was forced to unleash his innocence at full blast. This is very bad since his innocence cannot cope up with overuse. I guess Rinali’s premonition might come true.

    I find it interesting that Taiwanese news tend to report on Korean/Japanese stars. I guess they are quite popular there. From yesterday which I happened to watch, they mention that among Korean stars, having small eyes and great body is the type that gets woman swooning. They mentioned four stars – the lead in Stairway to Heaven, the lead in Winter Sonata, Rain, and the rich guy in Memories of Bali. I’m wondering about the guy in Memories of Bali for I never thought he was that popular.

    Then, they mentioned about this drama which might be a project between Korea and Japan called Train Man. I knew a bit about it since I read it in Kefi/Ocean’s site. It is about an otaku falling for a beautiful woman and asked people from this site to help him. This is based on a true story. He is going to scanlate it so I’ll check it out when the http download is available. It is quite a hit in Japan and the news showed the novels that it is based on.

    I researched a bit on Ji Sup’s military recruitment. Well, I learned that every Korean male has to serve the military/public service for 2 years. I read an article that this is what most actors/athletes dread since they would have to stop what they are doing and it is a hassle if they already at the peak or rather, they are already getting famous. There are those who bribe but then, were caught. Sorry, I love you was his last project and I guess, it was to make a really great impression for his fans to not forget him in two years time. Anyway, I decided not to get that drama since it is too heartbreaking and depressing to watch again. I just recorded in vhs the song that I really like there as remembrance. That song is still haunting me these days. ^^;;

    Thought of the day:
    It is better to give than to lend, and it costs about the same.

    Tuesday, June 21, 2005 @ 03:09 p.m.

    I had finished watching Sorry, I love you Korean drama. It was pretty good and this got to be the first drama that got me crying throughout the series. ^^; The ending was indeed so sad that at first I thought it was not that good but after thinking about it, I guess it is okay. I stupidly got attached to the character, sigh, I still can’t get over the story. ^^;;

    At the end, the swindler realized that he has used up the last few days of his life in waste for there was no really point of his revenge. Not only does the actor only an adopted son of his mother but his mother thought he and his sister were dead. The one who gave them away was the driver/father of the manager. Then, he managed to get his mother to cook for him even though she still detests him. As his mother is fixing some things, outside the window, he did the courtesy respect bow as he thanked his mother for giving birth to him. Maybe he had thought that if she knew he was alive then she would have treated him the same as the adopted son.

    He called up the manager to say what she had said the night before to him, ‘Sorry, I love you.’ He was going to meet up with his ex-gf maybe to go away for as he thought before, perhaps it was best if he didn’t return. Anyway, he didn’t make it for he died as he was going there. It was pretty sad that he died all alone for I actually thought at the end, he could be at least be with the manager or his ex-gf. It also made me think if he doesn’t want to give his heart to the actor for he is going to the airport – hehe for a dying guy, he sure can still drive a motorcycle ^^; Where did he learn it? - or maybe he just want to say goodbye to his ex-gf.

    So, after one year, everyone lives is back to normal. The actor or rather singer was really for his comeback after receiving a heart transplant from the swindler. The swindler’s sister and son [Ah, I don’t think I saw the son ^^;] were invited and the mother was entertaining them. I guess it is like a token of gratitude to the swindler for giving his heart for her son to live. There is an empty chair, which is for the manager. The singer and his ex-gf actress hopes that she will come while at the audience, her family seems to doubt it. Since it was never shown the mother was distraught over the swindler’s death, I guess she never knew that he was actually her son.

    So, where is the manager? She has returned to Australia where they first met. She wandered through the streets and the places where they stayed as she envisioned him and herself at that time. Later on, she went to the cemetery where the swindler was buried. She lies down beside his grave as she touches the grave and slept...to her death as she said that it seems that she cannot live without him. Their love story is so sad and tragic that many of the scenes got me crying. Anyway, this is a nice sad story that I like it very much and this pretty much made me like the actor, Ji Sup whom I easily remember as the actor with small eyes. Hehehe I also like a couple of instrumental and one song from this drama. I’m actually contemplating if I’ll buy a dvd copy for myself. ^^;;

    Thought of the day:
    Well done is better than well said.
