While downloading FMA, I researched a bit on FF:Advent Children since I haven’t been getting any new news on it and thought it has been shown already. It turned out that it might be released at the end of the year or next year for the US version. My initial reaction from the supposed enemies of Cloud was that they [White Haired Men] are clones of Sephiroth. The creator is in the mood for shrouded figures much like in KH2. Well, he is also the one in charge of that so no wonder Cloud and Sepiroth looked great in KH. He did admit that FF7 is his favorite. It will be seen if they will release a game on FF7. I did read a pre-sequel game on cellphones.
The cg is indeed very pretty with glimpses of the other characters. The movie will be for about an hour. It will also be released as UMD for the PSP [Playstation Portable]. PSP will be pitted against Gameboy and it looked pretty cool. It seemed to be a longer game-in-watch. Hehehe PS3 was estimated to be released about 2006. I was hoping that the PS3 games could be played on PS2.
Not much info yet on KH2. The one I thought to have a headband was really an eyeband like Jubei’s. ^^; It was thought to be Riku. The blond [looking for Sora] is related to Sora. There was a mention of this person is wearing ‘white’ clothes while Sora is darker. It is suppose to be part of the story. Interesting. Ansem is thought to be still alive.
In OP, I think I am two chapters behind. The group then met Luchi, a tall man with a talking pigeon. He helped them get their money back from Paulii. The two fought a bit and they learned that Luchi is a ventroquilist. They were given a tour to the shipyard. Then, Usopp got nabbed by the Frankie family though no one noticed it. Luffy asked Iceberg if he wanted to be part of his group but he turned it down since he is mayor of the place. Iceberg did know Robin and asked about her. Kaku then returned to the shipyard to tell them the bad news that their ship can no longer be repaired and they would need to replace it.
In FMA, Barry told Ling about his body and told him to find the brothers to help restore it. Ling left, leaving his girl bodyguard with them. At the office, Roy was chatting/flirting with a girl on the phone. At the hotel, Edward is wondering what to do next. Winry confessed that she is afraid that the two might die if these things kept on happening and wanted them to quit the military though she couldn’t say it since she also wants them to return to their own bodies. Armstrong came and hit Edward’s automail then dragged him into going back to. . . ah, I guess to Rush Valley. Ling tagged along with them.
Back at the hideout, the one whom Roy was talking with announced that there is a visitor. Barry and girl bodyguard noticed something when they found the creature, which was ordered by Envy and Lust in the chapter before, came in front of them. It stinks as it attacks them. The girl bodyguard said that there are many enemies outside. Farman tried to kill it but Barry won’t let him. Havoc in disguise help out but was immediately known by Farman. Hehehe Anwyay, they tried to stall but in the end, went out. Hawkeye covered them from the bell tower as a sniper and she was the one whom Roy was chatting with. Barry realized that the creature attacking them was Barry’s original body. They are still at odds if they would kill it to save themselves or not kill it since Barry wants to be a killer in his own body.
From there, it turned out that all of Roy’s team are in that place, waiting for the enemy to attack – get the bait = Barry. Hawkeye then noticed that someone is behind her and shot it in the head. It was Gluttony and he is still alive. Roy panicked since Hawkeye no longer answers for he fears it will be the same thing that happened to Hughes so he quickly rushed to the scene. The girl bodyguard found Envy as she asked Envy why does he seem to be many people inside him. Envy isn’t happy about that and prepares to attack. The girl bodyguard released a flare as Roy is driving toward the scene, hoping he reached it in time.
Along with this chapter is a favorite character poll. The short strip had Edward worrying about Al’s standing then Roy came saying that he hopes to be top this time. Unfortunately, Edward is the top with 7t+ votes and the difference is huge for Roy only had 2t+ votes. Edward gloats. Hehehe Third is Hawkeye, fourth is Al, fifth is Envy, sixth is Hughes, seventh is Winry, eighth is Armstrong, ninth is Havoc and the tenth is the brother’s sensei. Interesting enough, the cow author is also in the list and he is at seventeenth in the list. Also, just like in GB and OP, they are now accepting fanarts to be published.
I’m eager with anticipation over what will happen in Skip Beat!. Hehehe The story is moving along nicely and it would take about a year for me to actually read the manga since only two manga per year. Ren and Kyouko will be in one drama and it was touted to be passionate. Hehehe I can’t wait..but will have to wait for two weeks to know what happened next.

Finally, I bought a new monitor today. It turned out that the picture tube is broken not just a simple part. ^^; It is a good thing that I had already cut off my monthly net service. I will be now on prepaid card net service, which is cheaper. The email address will be the same. The one that I seldom uses will be the one to be cut off so no worries there.
I had already finished Kingdom Hearts. ^_^ The ending is indeed left hanging since they would still have to find the others all over again. I do wonder why Kairi is left in that island, when it was mentioned she wasn’t of that place in the first place. It was Sora and Riku. Anyway, the ending trailer was worth finishing some areas of the game. ^_^ The faces are covered but the two looked pretty cool. I’m wondering where that place could be. I was thinking maybe the city in FF7. Hehehe It is pretty obvious that the creators took special attention to the design of Cloud and Sephiroth here. They looked so cool here. ^_^ There was a music here which is very familiar from a FF series. In the credits, there was a bgm entitled, One Winged Angel. That is of course, from FF7 and well, Sephiroth does have one black wing. I didn’t bother defeating him since it wasn’t necessary. The last battle boss also somewhat reminded me of him.
I’m moving along in Suikoden 3. The priest-looking guy there really reminds me of Akabane – his mannerisms and thrist for a fight against strong opponents. I like a lot of characters here though not necessarily the main heroes. ^^;; The times I get irritated is the somewhat hide-and-seek part wherein the character had to go all over the place, just trying to look for a person so that the story could move on.
In SGRan, Miyu is having money problems again and is about to be kicked out of her apartment. Her irresponsible mother doesn’t bother sending her money or anything. So, Miyu was helped by Aya to raise the money she needed since the apartment was her last ‘treasure’ of her childhood. Well, something like that. Then, Miyu’s mother came home but only to get her things. She even quarrled with the landlord so Miyu will really be kicked out of the place. She was furious but she couldn’t do anything as her mother told her that Miyu is like her when she was young. Her mother left her and she is left on her own so all Miyu has to do is what she did, use her charms to find someone to ‘feed’ her.
Meanwhile, Ran is having problems of her own. She is in danger of repeating another year if she failed the exam. That is okay with her until her father announced that if she repeat, her allowance will be cut and she will have an earlier curfew. Her teacher is helping her and Aya. That is until Aya started helping Miyu. Ran is at her wits end since she isn’t disciplined enough to study on her own. Tatsukichi is also having problems with his studies. Then, Ran saw Rei walking by. She quickly nabbed him and forced him to help her. Some girls saw them together and jumped into conclusion that they are an item.
Back to Miyu, Yamato came to her apartment and comforted her. They sorted her problem by letting Miyu stay at Ran’s room while Miyu look for another apartment. The next day at the café, Miyu told Aya what happened. They are already talking about her plans for the future after graduation and Miyu noticed that something is troubling Aya. Aya told her what had happened between her confrontation with Rei and asked Miyu to keep it a secret. They don’t know that it is already being spread as rumors about Ran taking Aya’s boyfriend, Rei away from her. Sure enough, this series is near its end. I’m happy because I don’t’ have to wake up very early for it anymore.
In Gseed, the Coordinators had a surprise attack on the base where the Naturals are. It was just when Fflay, Mwu and Natarle were removed from the ship. Somehow Fflay and Mwu tried to go back. Mwu had some vibes that Raww was there. I still don’t know the relationship between these two. Maybe they are twins or something for Mwu to know Raww was nearby. Mwu learned that they are trying to blow up the place/colony. While Raww tried to escape, he found Fflay who was pretty surprised to see him and even remembered of her father. Instead of killing her, Raww hit her to make her unconscious and took her as he escapes.
Anthrun seemed to have been dismissed since he did wreck his gundam already so no use for him there. He is on his way back home. On the other hand, Kira is very much anguished that they are attacking his friends so he decided to go back no matter what. Clyne helped him get on a new secret gundam being developed by Anthrun’s clan/family. So, while Kira is trying to go back to Earth, Anthrun is going to where he is from. They actually crossed paths as Anthrun wondered about the Gundam that just passed by.
Mwu managed to get on the ship to warn the others that they are going to be sacrificed for the war. They were frustrated and everything but they couldn’t do anything. Mwu tried to delay the attacks and a gundam was about to shoot at the cockpit of the ship, Kira saves the day. I like the nice back spikes of this Gundam. ^_^ He outfight everyone and now, instead of killing straightforwardly, he tried to immobilize the gundams/the enemies without killing the pilot. Yzak was one who thought he was about to die when Kira stopped before slicing him and sliced the legs instead. He shouted for everyone to give it up or else, they will be defeated. He mentioned something about the gundam being from Anthrun. I’m not sure here. Then, the colony exploded. They escaped and Kira isn’t quite happy not being able to save an enemy from the explosion. On his arrival, Anthrun was greeted by bad news regarding the fight and well, the secret gundam was stolen. Anthrun was much shock when he learned that it was Clyne who helped get it stolen.
I’m still watching the anime with a teen and a kid with special powers. I had finally saw the opening. It was pretty nice and they way he holds the book reminded me of Kuroro of HxH. It is not that corny but I do hope it doesn’t become like some battle arena fights of the special kids/creatures. I think it was mentioned that they were ‘devils’.
I will skip what is going on in the country since it is already quite known in the news – the recall of the soldiers from Iraq to save a Filipino truck driver. Honestly, either way, the decision is hard. It is a good thing that I’m not the one who have to decide on it. This is it for now, I’m a bit sleepy already.

I’m using the computer at sis’ house again. We already know what is wrong with the monitor. A certain IC is defective which seemed to be the flaw of this model of monitor. Since it was asked that my brother’s friend to fix it and usually, having things fix in c/o of my brother takes long. We still didn’t have that part so we couldn’t buy it. ^^; So, it is taking a bit of time to get it fixed. Hopefully, next week or the next. ^^; I might use this blog pic again since I don’t think I can come up with a new one in such a short time.
I had been spending the time on the PS2 instead of what should be on the computer. I’m tired of powering up in KH and I need to get a peek on that guide. ^^; So, I played Suikoden 3. The story is interesting. It is playing three characters at the same time to get their different views on what is happening. The first one is Hugo, from a certain tribe who was told to deliver a truce letter to Zexen but he and his friends were treated badly because of discrimination. In the end, they were chased and had their village burned. The casualty was his friend. The second one is a Zexen knight who just got promoted, Chris. She was just following orders and was also in some truce meeting with the tribes but were betrayed. She burned the village just to save her knights and accidentally killed Hugo’s friend. The third one is hehehe, forgot the name, he and his band are mercenaries and they are trying to find a certain Fire Binder and got involved with the fight between the two. There are some interesting characters here. It would be interesting if this was indeed made into an anime – just like the quality in the opening. Of course, minus the battle scenes which doesn’t translate any good in games turned anime.
I wonder how Suikoden 2 is related to this one. Too bad, I couldn’t transfer the saved game from the second to the third since the memory card is already different. The second one is about two childhood bestfriends who are caught between a war and well, they separated ways and somehow found each other at different sides. It was fun building the castle by recruiting people and stuff but I didn’t finish it since I wanted to move on.
Spiderman 2 is good. I really like the opening art and the way they recapped the first movie. While watching, I noticed that the kids can get a bit restless since there aren’t much action and focused more on the characters’s lives. After that, we ate at a Chinese resto, which was also good.
In SGRan, Yuya finally realized that he no longer loves Ran and doesn’t get irritated like before with Tatsukichi. Then, after a long Ran-Mami fight, Yuya finally confessed his love for her. The end scene was of the two girls fighting over a necklace and wrecking it in the process. Poor Yuya had to pay for it. Then, a chibi Rei walks by to say, he was unlucky. Speaking of unlucky, last night, almost got locked out of the house.
Ban: From being locked out to being locked in…within a week.
Ya, well, my whiner aunt told me that the door won’t lock then, she left me alone since she said she was in a hurry. She did met my mom on the way out and told mom about it. She hammered it and it can be locked. Unfortunately, it won’t open. ^^; We asked a neighbor maid to open the door using a key but she couldn’t open it. Then, my father came and opened it easily. Well, at least I won’t be locked out again for now. ^^;; The lock is being fixed.
Then, my vcr is acting up again. Geez, my gadget jinx is acting up again. I got frustrated since I’m watching something so I just hit it and it works again. ^^;; Hitting does really work. Sigh, I just had that fixed a while ago and the same problem is appearing again.
In Gseed, people in the ship with Kira were reporting to higher officials and they were reprimanded for having Kira on board which worsen the war because they were using a Gundam. Anthrum was on leave or something. Kira is still staying with Clyne reflecting on people he killed and the people who were killed by the other side. Then, forgot her name [flyaway] went to visit the blond pilot in jail. He told her that it wasn’t him who killed her boyfriend. Well, it was Anthurm.
I’m watching Samurai Deeper Kyo which reminded me a lot of Rurouni Kenshin – art wise and a bit of the story. It was about a certain infamous samurai who got into the body of another samurai. They share two bodies as some demons are after the infamous samurai, Demon eyes Kyo. He is travelling with a gun slinger girl who has yet to be useful. I had a bit of a problem with the flow of the story but otherwise, it is okay.
Well, I don’t know when I will be able to write/email again so…well, that’s it.

I’m using sis’ hubby’s computer. I haven’t checked out how the monitor is doing. ^^; Maybe tomorrow. I guess the storm really doesn’t have anything to do with the darkening of colors of the monitor. I had been playing PS2 lately and without a guide, I think I made a mistake. Sis’ hubby helped in powering up and I missed one part which I would need to finish to see the extra trailer. I think I shouldn’t have sealed that keyhole. Oh well.
Oh ya, before I forget. Thanks, Unicorn for the package. There is a story to that – the always forgotten package. Mom asked a worker to pick it up. He gave the parcel notice and paid for the misc. fees then, he went back at the office, without the package. ^^;; It was already late so he didn’t return back until next day. Then, my sis forgot to bring it from the store to the house and I got it only at night. I haven’t listened to the cd yet though I have already read the manga. Silly me. I was reading it in Chinese-style manga right to left and I didn’t understand it.
Ban: Who puts a prologue at the end of the book, o brillian mind?
Hehehe…I thought it was a style or something. Then, I remembered that the US publisher might have flip the style. It was good read – gothic and vampires though the sequence doesn’t seem to be too smooth. Another story of being ‘intelligent’ hehehehe Last Friday, I was all alone home and was hanging some clothes that night. Then, my hand accidentally shut the door and I got locked out of the house with no keys nor cellphone. Okay, I know I would not win a case if I said, hey, my hand did it without thinking.
Ban: Such a bad alibi.
Okay…I was a bit sleepy. I hanged the clothes, wacking my brains what I should do. Even though my ‘demons’ are laughing at me for being so stupid. Last resort was asked to ask the neighbor, sheepishly telling her that I locked myself out and I need to call someone – sis. My neighbors’ children are laughing. Hehehe Actually, everyone is laughing. In the end, sis came back with her husband and unlocked the door. Sigh, I was suppose close the wooden door not the steel door in fear of rats coming in the house.
Ban: It is better to just leave it open.
Then, yesterday, we went to a shopping mart and sis with her husband stayed in with us. He played KH and then, today, we returned a spoiled fish. Geez, it smelled really bad. Good thing that they had it replaced. My dad also came back yesterday from Shanghai. I really missed my computer and I haven’t download some new manga scans. Some anime update. Tomorrow, Samurai Deeper Kyo is going to be shown as well as Dear Boys. I don’t quite like the colors in Dear Boys – it looked overexposed – lack of colors. I kept on forgetting to ask who to correct overexposure since I noticed that that is sometimes a problem with the pictures I take.
In SGRan, Katsumi helped out Towa, the girl in the café to do some chores and waitressing to learn Ran’s secret and it turned out that the secret wasn’t worth it. Towa told her to stop doing bad or else, it would not make the Super gal who saved Katsumi before happy. When that was shown, I somewhat guessed it. It was Towa – she was the super gal who had saved Katsumi. Now, she has Towa’s coat which she wore when she was still a Super gal. Hehehe. Okay, that is one part of the story that has been resolved. I’m guessing the loose ends will be Mami-Yuya and Aya-Rei’s relationship. I’ll end here since we will go to watch Spiderman.

I will be going home at about late afternoon or night. Sis will be staying with us until Saturday/Sunday because dad will be going to Shanghai for an exhibit there. I was suppose to go to the new house of sis while they are having a meeting there but since the construction is still on-going. They decided to leave me here.
Tomorrow will be the inaguration of the president. First at the capital then to the province which helped her won. Mm..a typhoon will be coming though. Hehehe I guess she did it this way so that the actor guy would not try to proclaim himself the winner at the capital. I read an amusing fact about a certain new comer senator whose son had just had a heartbreak after being dumped by a famous host, daughter of an ex-president. He confessed that he isn’t good in English so he will hire a translator who will translate everything that was being said to the local dialect. More amusing was he was among those who didn’t go to the orientation of the senators the other day. Actually, three new comers as senator didn’t attend and also those who were senators before.
While here, I alsoo realized the smell of my niece which I don’t like. I thought it was her smell but it turned out to be a fabric softner’s perfume. Sis’ clothes smelled like that, too. ^^; Also, her husband’s. Well, I did discovered that I had an allergy on perfumes/fragrances.
Oh ya, I forgot to mention that I had a haircut. It is okay I guess. It somewhat like a shaggy–dog look and did made my hair look thinner than thick. They told me to have hair spa to make my hair looked healthier. It does look a bit dry after the haircut or was it the blow dryer?
The secretary of Nii can be quite talkative and she told us about the story of her doggie. She didn’t mention the breed though. Before, when the dog is still a puppy, her mother tend to hit it when it ruins the wallpaper and does something bad. Now, the dog hates her mother even though it is quite tender with the other family members. I somewhat now know why dogs are more desirable here since the dogs act as guard dogs, just like sis’ husband’s dogs. They did deter a wannabe thief. Though, one of the dogs likes to catch rats. ^^; Back to the story, one day, the dog suddenly went running and was about to pounce on the mother. As the secretary said, she guessed that the dog does remember those who treated it bad. She did mention that her dog is intelligent and like people, there are intelligent while the other are not. Another knowledge, dogs cannot eat hotdogs, ham and preserved foods. Sis’ husband told me that it was because of the msg, which dogs shouldn’t eat.

I’m at sis’ house, staying-in for two days. Today, I went to Nii with sis. Blood results are fine otherwise for the low blood count and a bit high triglycerides. I was a bit puzzled that there are only few patients today since usually, there are quite a lot of patients on Monday.
I went with them to look at some tiles and other bathroom fixtures in a certain shop. I realized that my taste is quite different from theirs. ^^; I tend to like things that are a bit unique and well, not just really ‘classic’. Okay, it is a bit hard to explain, I guess. It is like when you see it, you know it is not common and different yet not really ‘weird’.

I somewhat realized why I don’t tend to play platform games. I have a difficulty in jumping. I had a hard time trying to get to the higher place to get a certain chest and only now, I realized that I haven’t equipped a certain ability. ^^;
Ban: Baka.
The mini-games can be quite frustrating too but they have to be done in order to see a trailer of KH2. I’m already having a hard time at normal level...what more if it is hard level.
In GSeed, there are a lot of flashbacks regarding the battle between Kira and Asthrun so I know more or less what had happened. Kira is crying again over the fight that he actually fought ‘to kill’ Asthrun but Clyne comforted him that it was so because they are at war hence, enemies. Kira was found by a blind man who brought him to Clyne. He seemed to be a caretaker of some sort of orphanage. Then, somewhere near the trees, he realized that Kira is one of the enemies. I think the coordinators had new gundams or repaired ones as Asthrun looks by as they arrived.
Somewhere at the ship, Mirillia is still grieving over the death of her boyfriend, whoever he is and Ssigh is trying to comfort her. He brought her to the clinic, which was a wrong move since the hostage, Miguel? [blond pilot] The one who killed her boyfriend was there. He just has to rub it in that she doesn’t belong there for crying so much and well, her boyfriend somewhat deserves it or something. Mirillia snapped and took a knife on the table and tried to kill him. Outside, Ssigh talked with Fflay who seemed to want to reconcile with him and told him that he knew that she was just ‘using’ Kira. Ssigh wasn’t too happy to hear that and he is already ‘tired’ and hurt over what had happened. He is also not happy that she was just manipulating nice Kira.
Then, they went back to the clinic to see Mirillia trying to stab Miguel. Fflay remembered what had happened to her father and grab a pistol at a drawer. Geez, they are laying a knife and a gun around a clinic. ^^;; It was amazing that Miguel didn’t use it to escape. Fflay then tried to shoot Miguel who was pretty scared by now. Somehow, Mirillia ended up saving him by grabbing the gun from Fflay. I thought Mirillia might end up being accidentally shot. Then, Mirillia goes sobbing, as Fflay was a bit shock over what had happened. That’s it.

Sigh, I’m not quite feeling well today which started last night. My throat is irritating that I had a sore throat candy hoping that it might cure it and it helped. I hope I’m not getting any cold again. Everyone around seems to have colds. ^^; from the house to the store. Anyway, if I’m feeling a bit better tomorrow, I might have my usual blood test and might go to Nii on Monday. Maybe I could drop by the post office to get the parcel from Unicorn.
Regarding the nuisance president candidate, Spike guy, well, he got caught. It seemed that the military men are watching the news and they know the place where he was interviewed. ^^; It reminded me of a scene in TCP. They are trying to find a kidnapped classmate and the videotape, which the villain gave them showed the place where they are keeping the classmate. They did found some weapons on him with his people.
In SGRan, Ran just helped out Tatsukichi and family ‘fight’ out over an unscrupulous owner of a huge ramen restaurant. They were helped by the huge restaurant’s chef who is proud of his ramen and doesn’t want to stoop down to ‘destroying’ the competitor. Ran wasn’t too happy when the father somewhat acknowledges her as a future daughter-in-law. It is a current joke wherein Tatsukichi wants to kill Ran but Ran just smacks him down. It seemed to be a filler somewhat since there was no mention about Rei’s confession to Aya.
I’m still playing KH and I had been wondering if the part two would be in Squaresoft world since this one is just going to different parts of the Disney classic cartoon worlds. The only places in Squaresoft I could think of are the Final Fantasy worlds. ^^;

Now, for some local news. We finally have a president and vice-president even though the opposition is not quite happy about it. They might have the inaugural at a province instead of the capital. I’m think of it as thanks for that province that enabled the incumbent president to win while mom thinks that at least, there will be no rallies there. Ya, at least, somewhat peace of mind that in that place, people likes her.
Then, there was this president wannabe who was dismissed as a nuisance claiming to have ordered his men to scatter spikes made from nails around major roads which flatten a lot of tires including a policeman’s. Everyone is dismissing as a wacko as he claim that he did it as a protest. This is the guy who wanted to make the country a state of the US. Right now, he is hiding and as always, the local reporters manages to find him even if the policemen can’t but then, the policemen doesn’t seem to pay him much attention as in really want to arrest him. Reporters have a tendency to find suspects/rebels first before any policemen or military people.
Somewhere in a restaurant parking lot in the city, two rich guys [ a teen and a 30 year old son of an ex-senator] went into a shooting spree at each other. They are blaming each other as to who caused it. I think the two are at fault but then, the son of the ex-senator seemed to be hiding something. According to the news, he won’t let his car nor himself [he was shot] be investigated. He was in the news already before for incriminately shooting at a vacant parking lot. His alibi was he was killing rats.
I found yesterday that Samurai Deeper Kyo will be shown on local tv...well, it is a co-channel by a local channel which caters to foreign shows while the other one is pure local. It might be dub in English since this one shows RK reruns in English dub. I don’t know the story though...if it is good or not. And, Tokyo Underground doesn’t quite interest/appeal to me. It seemed like Flame of Recca complete with a dream in the first episode of a girl who will fall for him. Wow, they look alike. From the reviews, they would spend most of the time trying to protect the girl from the villains.

Ha..ha..I had found the missing chapters of FMA so I now know what happened from where the volumes I had stopped to the new ones. I was looking for translations when I stumbled upon some Chinese scanlations. Hehehe The last volume I have ended with the president having the mark of the ‘SIN’ on his eye. It turned out that he is really one of them. The ones I presumed to have killed by the president was still alive and they tried to save Greed but failed. They told Al to protect the girl but she tried to kill the president and she was stabbed to death. It was when Al’s armor was covered with blood that he somewhat remembered what had happened that day when they tried to revive their mother. The thing or maybe his other self was the one who got his body just like Ed’s when he met his other self, which now had his missing limbs.
It seemed that when one tries to do human transmutation one will have to sacrifice something. I think their sensei had tried it and she had some stomach injury that is why she kept on vomiting blood. Al was the sacrifice but then, what was formed was some sort of being which doesn’t seem to be human. Anyway, Hawkeye was walking home when Barry tried to kill her since he is a murderer in his ‘past’ life. Hawkeye shot him and she wasn’t a bit scared that the armor was empty. She called Roy about Barry as Barry tried to court her since he likes strong women. ^^;
Roy then got some insider info but still doesn’t know who killed Hughes. They decided to keep Barry safe and had Farman be with him.
The president had a meeting with the others. He is Anger/Wrath. Their base is actually in some basement in the headquarters in Central. Sloth is a huge guy who was being ordered to dig something – looked like a huge tunnel. There is also an old man sitting in a chair with lots of tubes/wires connected it. He is the ‘father’ and I’m guessing he is Pride unless, well, he is ‘god’. Greed was being too greedy for himself that they killed him by boiling him in some kind of liquid. I think he drained Greed’s blood or something then the ‘father’ drank it.
At Youswell mine town, Kayal [the young boy] met a Chinese girl with a cute small panda which imitates what she does. She went there to look for the alchemy to be young forever. She used alchemy to help Kayal’s father who was trapped in the mine that collapsed. They told her of the other alchemist who was there – Edward and she fell for him and wanted to meet him. She left and it was only then when Kayal and his father remembered that they didn’t mention that Edward is short. The girl thought he was tall and handsome. Hehehe
Back at Rush Valley, Edward returned to have his arm fixed and well, Winry beat him to a pulp. Winry was some sort of an apprentice to an automail guy who looked gay. ^^; Edward said that he plan to go to Central and Winry asked him to take him with her since she wanted to visit the Hughes family. While walking around, they found a guy on the floor. It was Ling Yao who collapse because of hunger. I wonder if he is related to the Chinese girl since she also collapses when hungry. He is a foreigner and then they talked about some geographical places. In his country, they also practice alchemy. He told them that he was looking for the philosopher’s stone to use it to become young forever. Then, two of his people attacked the brothers.
The brothers managed to win. I think Al know knows how to use alchemy without a pentagram since he remembered what happened before. Before they could ask more stuff from Ling, he escaped so that the brothers would have to fix and pay for everything that was destroyed and well, eaten by Ling. Then, they found Ling at the automail shop where Winry works. Winry came back and saw that Ed wreck his arm again and he was beaten into a pulp again. Ling then wanted to go to Central with them and even said that after he found the stone, he would want to marry Winry. Ling kept on insisting that they are friends and ask him to bring him with them. It seemed that they are very poor. Somewhere else, Scar is also heading to Central.
Havoc visited Farman who was guarding Barry. Farman wanted to go back to his work already and the only good news that Havoc had was that he had a girlfriend. It was a joke in the past volume about Havoc having to break up with his girlfriend since they transferred to Central and a gaiden about meeting Armstrong [Alex]’s sister. Later on, it turned out that the new girlfriend is Lust. At the train, much to Ed’s dismay, he learned that Ling is the same as his age and well, he is shorter. ^^;
At the library, Roy had been doing research. Cheska was helping Roy get in the Third Archive that was prohibited and she was caught by her superior, Fokken. Fokken told her that he won’t say anything about it. Fokken learned about the things that Roy was investigating into. It turned out that that Fokken was an impostor, it was Envy. Maybe that is what the president called his spies network. At the men’s room, Roy saw Armstrong and they wondered about Ed. Ed will become 16 and wondered if by that time, he would have returned to his original body or will he be sent to that ‘place’. It seemed that place is a war zone which Armstrong didn’t manage to quite fit in that he had to disobey orders to save his mental stability. Then, it was revealed that Roy knows what is the basic ingredient [live people] for the philosopher’s stone so Armstrong advised Roy to be careful.
Envy discussed with Lust and well, Gluttony about Roy and what to do with him. They couldn’t kill him since he is also a candidate for the human sacrifice, just like Ed is. Lust head out for some investigations as Envy wondered if it would be better to handle Roy by giving him something to go at. So, this is where the frame-up of Maria got in. They had her arrested for the murder of Hughes.
Then, there was a Gaiden which isn’t humorous anymore. The brothers visited a guy who claimed to have performed a human transmutation successfully. He was a private alchemist who uses alchemy to protect a family. The child they saw was proof of it but the madam doesn’t want him to reveal the secret to Ed. Later on, Ed kept on asking the woman as she told him to not try doing it. They later learned that it was also a failure for the alchemist had lost his eyes and they got a different girl to pretend to be the daughter in order to ‘trick’ the alchemist that the transmutation had worked.

I was quite surprised to see a new FMA chapter and it is dated July. I guess the magazine where it was serialized had a month earlier as its date. Edward is very angry that he wanted to beat up Roy but he was stopped by Alfonse. Al then learned that Roy had just killed Maria. I think Roy apologized for the death of Hughes. Another officer came to the scene and reprimanded Roy for being too harsh. At the hospital, the Ed apologizes to Alex since he thought that it was his fault that Hughes was murdered. The doctor then confirmed that the deceased was Maria and told Roy for being harsh as to burn someone beyond recognition even if it is revenge over the death of his friend. They matched dental records to confirm it was her. Alex was also angry for what Roy did since he believed that she was innocent. Roy just told Alex to take a vacation and left. The brothers are not exactly happy with what Roy said.
Barry returned to his hiding place with a guy who was very angry for bringing Ling Yao [read his name tag in the last chapter. ^^; ] back. Ling Yao was busy grilling fish for breakfast then two people in black [an old man and a masked one (girl)] came and talked to him. They must be his comrades, they called him young master. The guy with Barry got more angry since they have increased. Hehehe...mmm, this guy looked like one of the men under Roy. Well, same hairstyle. The Elric brothers went back to the hotel to realize that they had left their door open and Winry had most probably read the newspaper about Hughes murder.
Winry went to the Hughes’ house and was surprised that it was opened by the daughter who quickly shouted, “Father!” Then, the girl hugged Winry. Then, the brothers got a phonecall. It was Mrs. Hughes informing them that Winry is at her house. The brothers prepared to be scolded as they will tell her the reason why her husband died. Al even said that if possible, he is willing to be like that forever if only, no one gets killed because of wanting to get his body back. Ed then told Mrs. Hughes that her husband had learned something about the philosopher’s stone which they are trying to get information about that he got killed so they are apologizing and are willing to give up looking for it since it is ‘dangerous’. Mrs. Hughes told them not to do it and continue on or else, her husband’s death would have been in vain and that she was happy that he died trying to help someone. When they left, Ed looked up the window to see Mrs. Hughes crying.
Later on, Ed went to Winry’s room to tell her to eat something since the restaurant was closing. Winry pulled him to her room to show him the apple pie, which Mrs. Hughes taught her to make. She cried as she told him that she practiced very hard to know how to make it so that Hughes could taste it. Ed took a slice and told Winry that it tasted good. Somewhere else, Envy was pretty happy that Roy had killed someone for revenge. Envy showed Lust a picture of the one who helped Maria escaped. It was Barry and I think they decided to get rid of him since he might still know of their secrets or something. Envy said that he doesn’t know where he is since like when he was still alive, he kept on moving from different places. Lust then went to a room with lots of caged ‘creatures’ and told a masked guy to come out from his cage.
In OP manga, Sanji was doing some grocery shopping when he saw Robin following a masked person. Sanji ran after her but she and the other person disappeared at a dead end. Sanji laments that he was infected by the Zoro curse – getting lost. Kaku got into the ship and was checking it out. Zoro with delayed reaction thought that Kaku was Usopp that he slept then after realization, he woke up again to ask who the heck he [Kaku] was. It is the nose. ^^; Iceberg and his secretary, Karifa were discussing the repairs and he agreed to tour them to the city when Usopp realized that his suitcase was being robbed. It was the Frankie family. They took it and rode on bulls. Then, from the bridge, Paulii, a ship carpenter was running away from some debt collectors then jumped to the Frankie’s family bull. He tossed them away using his rope which came out of his sleeves. I think the Frankie’s family was one of those stupid robber types. ^^; Usopp shouted that it was their money but then, Paulii rode away from it as he waves goodbye.

It turned out that the counting was over last night, finally. It was no surprise that the incumbent president won with her vice-president, which is quite rare. The difference is about a million votes so it isn’t exactly small.
While surfing yesterday, I found the Chinese translators of some Jump titles again and they are going to do FMA. Well, the chapter was quite ahead. The last one I got is 29 and the one I found is 35. A lot of things seemed to have happened. Edward looked grown up also Winry. Mm..I guess they replaced his automail. There is also a new easy-go-lucky guy who wears a coat with flame designs – seems familiar. They went back to Central and later on learned that Hughes is dead and the murderer was pointed to Maria Ross, the one whom Envy imitated. She tried to escape with new guy and Barry, the chopper aka number 66. Unfortunately for her, Roy saw her and toasted her, which didn’t exactly make Edward happy. Poor Maria, she was the scapegoat for Hughes’ murder. I finally realized that Edward and Alfonse’s sensei work in a butcher shop and well, the author draws himself as a cow. ^^; Oh look, he is in the poster. Hehehe The end of the chapter have a draft of the place where he and his assistant stays. They are drawn as different mascot-type animals and they are all lying around the place – looks dead though. ^^;; The only problem I have with the Chinese translation is that it is in simplified Chinese...argh.

Ouch. [arrow hits] ^^; Ya. I’m more familiar with the traditional one but then, I’m already having problems with that one. Gundam Seed was pre-empted by some Chinese guessing cooking game show that was probably patterned from the Japanese. The celebrities would have to guess a certain number of ingredients, price and etc of a certain super yummy dish and if one is closest to the percent range, they get to eat it and make the others drool in envy.
Digimon Frontier’s replacement was an unknown anime..that is I have no idea what the title is in English. There was this anti-social teen who just celebrated his birthday and his father gave him a young boy who seemed to be like Ninku. ^^; Short kid with blond hair and a line from the eyes down the cheek. He can produce electricity from the mouth with the use of a red magical book but then, he can’t remember if he did it. The kid had decided to become a friend to the teen. It turned out that the teen was quite intelligent and he tricked the kid to going to the penthouse to fight some bully. The kid was beaten up and he was with a girl who likes the teen. Then, in some other building, another skateboard teen was watching, seemed to be a pervert and he also had a small kid along with him, which is of similar style as the blond one. This teen has a blue magical book.
In the end, after a lot of insults, the teen helped the kid and managed to use the red book. The other teen escaped before they were toasted. Oh ya, the power of skateboard teen’s kid seemed to be wind. Elsewhere, a rich-looking girl teen was having tea with her kid which looked a bit devilish was commenting on the huge power of electricity. So, this anime looked interesting but then, it isn’t the type that I would really want to see though. Let’s just see.
