I don’t know what my brother has eaten but he wanted me to stay over at his house. Mm...maybe to make me the babysitter. ^^; He said that he want to make me fat since I’m pretty thin. I was supposed to be picked up two hours and a half ago but he must have been busy so I would go with sis when she goes near there. Sis’ fiancé’s friend is getting married today. She would also stay in with my brother so that her fiancé won’t have to drive her at home late at night also so that she would entertain the kids. Hahaha

Yup. The long computer table is already in the room. The paint is still wet so the heavy monitor made a mark on it. ^^; My mouse is acting up and I don’t know if it is because of the moving or well, it is just acting up. I even got some paint on my hands. I also took this opportunity to clean inside the cpu. Geez, it is so dirty already and yes, it does seem that I have a usb outlet.

Another unfruitful day in regards with avp. ^^; This morning, Muraki got some samples of the ‘sister’ bump infection for culture. It seemed that the ‘baby girl’ is also the same – the insect bite thingie. It would be about 3-4 days to know if there are germs.

I ended up surfing again as I downloaded the pictures taken by sis’ friend which would be used on the avp. It is suppose to be a movie type but then, we don’t have a video cam nor how to incorporate that in flash so do it the hard way.

Some current events: Well, it is all over the world by now, how our police let three known terrorists ‘free’ from a ‘faulty’ prison. I wasn’t able to watch the international news about it only the aftermath wherein a new reporter was somewhat trying to resist from laughing or being dismayed that the prison door can easily be opened by just a little nudge. Next, in the Taiwanese ch, being vain can cause much trouble than one bargained for. They have this shaving of facial hair as in all the hair in the face except the eyebrows of course with two pieces of string. There is a bad side effect though, it can damage their skin and caused a breakout of pimples. So, they ended up in more mess than being more beautiful.

In CGT, Harry who seemed to be a cross of Quatre and Trowa, met with Kouya with some help from Takeshi. Harry didn’t finish his duel with Kouya by saying that Kouya is not U-ya and encouraged Kouya to do his own techniques. That reminded me of Ryoma. ^^; Harry said to himself that it was better for him to quit since it is time for the new generation of gear fighters ‘rivals’ with Kouya and Takeshi.

The match between Seigaku and St. Rudolph still continues. They were able to counter St. Rudolph’s attack and the match prematurely ended when Momoshiro’s killer/dunk shot hit the opponent right in the face that the opponent said that he could see stars. ^^; Momoshiro is quite disappointed that it ended already and kept whinning for the opponent that it shouldn’t hurt and they should keep on playing. Kaidoh just told him that it was his entire fault.

Next is the golden pair [Eiji and Oishi] against the team captain of the other team [brown skin] – I think he is Yoshirou - and another guy. Ryoma was taking a nap under a tree until he was disturbed by the trio and the girls to say that the golden pair is in trouble. Eiji is having a really hard time and is quite tired. Ryoma told Fuji and Inui that he is seeing the ball as if they are many. They learned that the serve of Yoshirou is doing it to confuse Eiji. The trio got worried but Inui said not to worry since the two have great teamwork. Flashback: The golden pair against Ryoma and Momoshiro are playing against each other with a rope tied on their waist. The golden pair was able to do it unlike Ryoma and Momoshiro who got tripped with the rope. Ryoma was all tied up with it. The last scene, Eiji managed to get a hit in but lost his balance. Yoshirou thought that he would be able to win when he hit it back but Eiji smiled for Oishi hit it high and they had a point. Dang, watching this series can make one want to play tennis.

I was suppose to do more Flash this afternoon but ended up surfing as I tried to look for more bunnies from Wish. No luck but oh well, I have to make do with I have. I then noticed that the Jump site still had that preview link. ^^;

I went there trying to look for more of the names of Seigaku’s rivals. I think from what I have searched, I had somewhat know all of the names of the major ones. So, what happened there, well, Kaidoh and Momoshiro had a hard time trying to do their special attacks since Hajime had trained Jun and Shiya [don’t know who’s who ^^;] to deter their attacks so they had a hard time winning. The younger audience panic but Ryoma is confident since it will be Hajime’s doom for trying to predict their moves. Just as he left to get a drink, saying that, the two got challenged. Kaidoh does his Viper stance and hit a curving shot which confused the opponents as to if he is going to do it again or just an ordinary snake shot. Momoshiro changed his dunk shot style. The opponents are having a hard time. That’s it. Ah yes, I kept on forgetting, they have a new opening which is a bit better than the old one which tend to be centered on Ryoma.

In CGT, Kouya won and Tiger is awake again. The Chinese group said their goodbyes, as Kouya’s group would go to another place to compete for the championship because of the rainy weather. Oh ya, I forgot to say something about the weekend anime. The vcr didn’t record Naruto. ^^; In Yugioh, it seemed to be a filler since I don’t remember this in the manga scans that I saw. Kaiba’s balloon got pulled to a certain submarine wherein some cg character kept on taunting him. It turned out to be some old men who seemed to be associated with Kaiba’s step?father. Then, they are brought to some hologram room as the others freak out over the dinosaur, Kaiba is keeping his cool for he knew it was just a hologram. Then, they saw a younger Kaiba [Mm..the present Kaiba outfit is much better.] playing against I forgot him. He was using the blue dragon.

In OP anime, Usopp and others learned that the doctor was at the other town. I’m amused with Dr. Kureha’s way of asking if anyone’s sick. She asks, “Are you happy?” The theory here is that if you are sick, you remember when you are not sick = happy. She helped a sick boy whom the people don’t know how to cure. The animators inserted how Zoro got lost while swimming while Karoo thought he drowned and tried to save him. Zoro even met Dr. Kureha and got punched for calling her old woman. She is still young, she insits at the age of 139. Then, Usopp and the others learned that Wapol had come back to the Island. Meanwhile, Luffy and Sanji are trying to avoid the rabbits, which are as big as bears.

And so, I finished the basic lessons in Flash which are just basically how to draw stuff using the tools and tweened animation. I’ll just use the help in some other stuff as I try to make the avp [audio-visual presentation]. Okay, it can be quite frustrating since sometimes, I clicked something and it changed the things on the ‘stage’ which I cannot returned back to normal that I have been closing and opening it for the nth time already.

Ya, so that means that I have to keep on repeating it. Mm..self-studying is harder than I thought. ^^; I think there is still a lot of stuff I still don’t know about that I really need to know. Oh well, I still have about 4 months to go. Anyway, sis’ fiancé’s friend is also still learning about it and would help me later on.

CGT is really becoming unbelievable since holding a gear which had just been held by another person would give the owner flashes of imagination. ^^;; During an interview, Takeshi said that he was disappointed that he wasn’t able to play against Korudo as Kouya’s team are saying things at him since he didn’t wait for their match. Then, Takeshi mentioned that he knew that Harry [U-ya’s arch-rival] is there. U-ya/Carlos and a disguised Harry met – flash one. Then, U-ya/Carlos had two draws with his games against Kouya was Kouya trying to think what his brother wanted him to do – flash two after U-ya/Carlos held his gear. It is pretty corny so I really hope the last episodes would not be so corny as this episode and some of the others before.

The regular tv season and first ova season of Hunter x Hunter in the Taiwanese channel. Just as I predicted, they will show the second ova. Well, lots of talking about stuff as Kurapika is still delirious and they even showed a scene of him seeing the two dead ‘spiders’ that he in/directly had killed. ^^; Then, Gon and Killua are trying to ask the person who had bought the greed game to let them play. Sphinx and Feitan were there that made the two ran away pretty fast but the two spiders were able to catch up to them. They just talked a bit and left. Gon almost bet on the greed game, which could give Killua a heart attack. Good thing for them, someone else bet higher than him. They asked the winner to let them play but it seemed that their strength is still lacking to enter the game. Meanwhile, in really bad signal, Sphinx and Feitan attacked the ones who had the game and stole it.

I really begin to like PoT. Ya, I’m getting hooked and while watching today, I was secretly hoping that Asher would buy the series so that I would know what exactly are they talking about. Hehehe I was thinking how many matches for the day do they have. They will play against St. Rudolph next and it turned out that the hoodlum looking guy there with a scar on his forehead is Fuji’s younger brother who doesn’t want to be known as Fuji’s brother. Hajime [data guy] plotted him to play against Ryoma and made sure to get rid of the first 3 matches so that it doesn’t matter if they lost to Kunimitsu and another match, I forgot. While walking around, Momoshiro and Ryoma met Kamio and Ibu who ended up with Momoshiro saying to Kamio that Kaidoh would surely lose to Kamio next time. And well, Kaidoh heard that.

Kamio was ignored as Kaidoh and Momoshiro kept on glaring each other. In the next match, the two will play doubles so the freshmen are quite uneasy about it especially when the two kept on fighting. It seemed that on court, they were able to play as they are trying to outcompete against each other. ^^; The very kawaii part was they showed flashbacks of the two getting on each other’s nerves when they are just starting and well, trying to outcompete each other. Then the end scene, their opponent managed to pull in some stunts as Kaidoh is the one who is going to hit the ball.

I went to Muraki this morning to check on the wound since I thought it got re-infected for it was a bit hot. Muraki said that it was okay and I just happen to heal very, very slowly than a normal person would so it is taking a much longer time. He would get a culture of it on Friday to be sure if there were any more germs on it. Those things kept on appearing that I have two more new ones but they are smaller. One had already burst while the other one looked like an insect bite. I had flipped and started naming them. This is the grandmother, mother, daughter and baby. ^^; It is also seem to be a coincidence that it all happen on one side of my body – right when about two years ago, it was all on the left side and also with four of those things.

Hehehe...Muraki did say I was a keloid former. Weird, before the transplant I wasn’t since the fistula and surgery scar didn’t form any keloids. There are even some pimple-like stuff on my forehead which I visited a new dermatologist. She said just to put an anti-bacteria ointment, which might cure it. It had become smaller already than before.

I just read the latest OP manga. The scanlator included the OP poster. I like those posters. The title for this one is Live a Life of Ease. They are all resting on a quilted blanket with their pirate logo. Usopp is making disguises – glasses & mustache, Nami putting one on the sleeping Luffy, Zoro fell asleep while working out, Chopper making some concotion, Robin is reading and Sanji is making himself a cup of coffee. There are cute white dogs walking around with Usopp’s disguises. ^-^

What happened here: Usopp trying to be brave and ended up asking help for Nami. ^^; Anyway, they teamed up for Nami to get her waver as Usopp would try his best to distract Eneru. Nami would go save Usopp but Eneru’s staff was holding Usopp. Sanji helped them by kicking Eneru’s staff and well, Sanji got zapped again as he told the two to go. Usopp made Nami drive the waver out of Eneru’s ship. Sanji was still standing and telling Eneru something before he fell. It turned out that he wrecked something in Eneru’s ship. Hehehe The end scene was Usopp clinging on the ship’s side with a hook to get Sanji out of there.

In CGT, it seemed that the ‘god’ gear who made the first gear is the one whom Kouya met before who helped him regain his ‘love’ for playing gear during the fight with King. And so, Jin and Jiro weren’t able to reach in time for the tournament. Takeshi wasn’t lenient with them anymore for he doesn’t want to wait for the two. He won by default and Kouya isn’t quite happy about that. The next battle will be Kouya and U-ya. In Pot, they are in the tournament and Ryoma was a bit late because of a doctor check up, which everyone thought was just an alibi. There are a lot of new other school players being introduced. Horio pretended to be Ryoma since when signing up they must all be present. They put on Kaidoh’s team jacket on him and a cap. Horio’s boasting got him into trouble and dirtied Kaidoh’s jacket. Ryoma got him out of his boast of being able to get a hit in. Ah yes, I now noticed Ryoma’s catch phrase about something being far. Okay, if would be more fun if it is in Jap, just like the guy in Scrapped Princess – si ra ne. I have no idea what that meant.

Kaidoh and Ryoma easily won their games. Then, it was Kunimitsu so the others saw his ability for the first time as Ryoma comments that it isn’t his true ability. Then, during Oishi and Eiji’s game, they are talking about something about they having a hard time on a certain serve. Inui realized that there is a spy who is telling their weakness to the next team whom they will play. The spy is from a different school and I have no idea who the guy was. He seemed to be like Inui – data gatherer of other teams. Inui warned Kinimitsu about that school. I think I need to search on the characters of the different schools – picture=names. ^^;

In Love letter, well, everyone involved knew that Woo-jin kept the letter. Woo-jin is still not quite pleased that Eun ha still loved Andrew. Andrew is quite pressured since people are talking about him since he is always seen with Eun ha when he is a priest that he tried to make Eun ha away from him. Eun ha seemed to be dying so she is trying her best to be with Andrew. Woo-jin still cannot bear to be away from Eun ha for he loves her too much. Sometimes we think, why doesn’t just Eun ha say that she is dying so they can spend time together already but then, maybe she was thinking that she doesn’t wanted to be pitied and stuff. The latest developments are Woo-jin plans to marry Eun ha while Andrew is really having conflicts about becoming a priest that from the preview, it seemed that he had quit. Note: He hasn’t been ordained yet. So, that would make Woo-jin quite threatened. I was also thinking that since there is religion here, maybe they would whip up a miracle for the Eun ha not to die. Oh well, let’s just see.

PS2 games update: In the latest E3 con, [ I think it is a con where they show the latest games from different consoles] the only familiar PS2 game there is Metal Gear 3: Snake Eater. Mm..I’m not quite enthusiastic about it since it is a jungle setting. *gets flashbacks of Tomb Raider jungle and gotself Lara killed within minutes* ^^; Why Snake Eater? Well, it seemed that Mr. Snake will have to eat living things like a snake and I think it is an arowana [fish] raw. Yummy. I’m not quite fond of jungle settings and from the preview, he just sneak around ala Rambo just from his outfit *lol* and kill some people. From the looks of it, according to the host, it was a pre-sequel. I was finishing my lessons in Flash and only heard some Seven Samurai game. Baka...I only get to see the last part wherein a guy kills off some enemies then walks away with his long bandana slowly falling down. It seemed to be based on the movie. Mmm..I know that is a very popular movie. Maybe I’ll just watch the rerun and this is an adventure game so if ever it is good, I hope I’ll survive. And well, I don’t know if I would be happy or not but just heard that they will make Devil May Cry into a motion picture. I wonder who would play Dante...who would look good with silver hair and red leather outfit? ^-^

I was discussing with Nami [I changed the name so that it would be more fun to read] regarding the brand of tablet that I will buy and then it suddenly ended up like this:

Kat: Because it would be easier to use.

Kat: Nope.

Kat: *got hit with arrow* Ouch. ^^; Nami: Like at least more than 50 drawings.

Kat: *thinking* Mm...do I have even 50 drawings...

Kat: *speechless then goes off to the computer to check if the new PS needed new cd format than PS2*

And so, it seemed that the new PSX is just an upgrade of PS2 with dvd recorder, harddisk, etc that I can live without. It would be out by December and if I can wait that long, that would make PS2 much cheaper.

^^; Well, for now. It is really pure coincidence that this morning, I was telling sis that it would be nice to have a long computer table to put my printer and scanner. Ya, at the back of my mind, a tablet. ^^; And just this afternoon, sis told me that her godfather asked if we wanted a 6ft. long computer table. Amazing. ^-^

Short anime update: CGT – Kouya won against Tiger and brought him back to normal except Tiger is still in a coma. Jin and Jiro went out to find a workshop to fix Korudo’s gear and it is a small shack. I was thinking it was the bum who helped Korudo discover his weakness. PoT – Life of the tennis players while not out of the tennis court. It is amusing even though I thought it would be boring since it is about Karupin the cat’s adventure in school. Ryoma was worried sick with his cat. It also showed what they do at the start of the morning and at the end of the evening with a little of what they are.

I went out yesterday with sister and her fiancé. We were supposed to be picked up by 3pm but he came only at 5pm. I was even able to play a mini-adventure in FF6. Ah yes, speaking of FF6, I’m just finishing the mini-quest [not much story] just getting the separated comrades together before the final fight and I can actually do the final battle already but I wanted to do as much side quests as I can and if I got bored, I’ll finish this game already. He was late because his teacher took them to a horseracing-betting arena. ^^; What are they teaching people in masters these days? The excuse was that they are in an investment class so as part of investment aside from gambling stocks is horse race. Sis’ fiancé said that the tips and everything else was useless. Since he had a lot of luck, he won 500 bucks total with his losses, which is better than his classmates.

We went first to a designer of sis’ friend for sis’ last entourage as a secondary sponsor. It was her dream to at least be in an entourage before getting married and she got it. She will go there for a fitting and much to her dismay, the motif seemed to be the same as hers even though I told her that hers had a slight yellowish tint instead of pinkish tint. The cloth seemed the same though. Her friend wanted to keep her wedding gown a secret so the others doesn’t know how it looked like. About her friend, when sis talked about her sometimes I wonder if she really knew what she is getting into. You see, her in-laws aren’t that pleased with her and sometimes, the guy tried to prove himself as not being ‘under’ that he nags more than her. Just imagine, they live in as neighbors and she isn’t being treated well already when they are not married how much more if they are. Well, usually if one is engaged, it is hard to back out but then I think sometimes, it would have been better than a lifetime of suffering.

After that, it turned out that they had set a double date with sis’ fiancé’s friend with another person. I don’t like that idea too much so I went to my brother’s store. While there, I asked around the computer shops there about a tablet. It seemed that per computer shop had only one kind of tablet and the usual one is a Waicom Graphire Tablet and curiously though, it doesn’t have a mouse just as featured in the Internet. I was thinking, what did they do? Just package it separately in the Philippines or well, just removed it since most reviews said that the mouse is quite hard to control. I didn’t buy it yet because maybe I can something cheaper of the same brand/model name. The others are a bit never heard – U-logic and Acecat which is from Taiwan. I’m also thinking if I really had a USB port in this computer.

Ya, but I did saw two holes at the back of the CPU which looked like USB ports so maybe I do have. Where is that computer receipt? ^^; Anyway, after that, I ate at my brother’s house then went to Rockwell mall at about 10pm so the bookstore is closing. I glanced at some computer books. I found a Flash MX book by Seol Eun A [Seoleuna] -Korean and I thought it was a tutorial book but after searching today in the net, it is more on a book about putting motion video in flash. Her website is here. I thought she might had put tutorials in there since it was mentioned in the book and it turned out it was her own site where she put in her projects. The other books on flash is how to make games with them using actionscript. Cool...but then, there is programming involved and there is even a chapter on trigonometry. ^^; The other tutorial book is Savvy. I still don’t know if I should buy or not.

Nephew and niece seemed to have an usual ritual of going out to Rockwell to play bowling and a bit of billiards at a place there. When I say play, as in play so they do not really know the techniques but it is fun and since that place had kid lanes [gutter? lane is closed] and kid pool tables [low height], it is easier for them. I shot some billiards and tried bowling with a kiddie bowling bowl but I’m not quite comfortable since it was a bit heavy and well, I’m thinking of my weak leg so most of the time, I just watch them play.

After that, we went to the airport for brother to ship some of his deliveries then I went home really late – it is early in the morning already. My father isn’t quite too happy about that. Then, I did some homework for my uncle who is tutoring. It is about rhymes and I really suck at that

Yup, so I just resorted to just replacing the first syllable with each alphabet and maybe come up with something. With some help from sis, we managed to finish the assignment except for a thing called making a rhyme shape with 5 masculine and 5 feminine rhymes. We had no idea what that meant and I thought that maybe it was taught by the teacher in school. Oh well, we tried our best.

Sigh, I used up 30 min. of net time to send the album layout pics to sis’ fiancé and it was wasted because his free email cannot handle a 3 meg file. ^^; So, it just bounced back. Today, his relatives wanted to see their pictures and wanted to send them through email. It is also a free email so I fear that it might bounce again.

And yes, why not just put in a webpage as well as the album layout? I made album layout pics twice smaller than the original ones I sent. It wasn’t necessarily just half the size of the 3 meg file. Weird. Anyway, it is now up. Why didn’t I think of this earlier?

Ya. I really have to be careful next time.

CGT – Korudo and Jin asked Takeshi to let him borrow his workshop to fix Korudo’s gear. Takeshi refused since it would be an insult for Korudo if he asked help from him especially since they are opponents in the next game. The two took it as if Takeshi is being selfish. It turned out that the Chinese leader, I’ll call him Wong. [No offense to those who have that surname. It was what I thought of now and I kept forgetting his name when they call him. ] Wong wanted to use Tiger to get back at the association for humiliating him for being a Crush destroyer. Just like any villain who thinks of oneself, if a member is useless, they get thrown away so if Tiger failed him, off Tiger goes with the others who are just Tiger’s gear mechanics. Hwa [Chinese girl, my name for her] was told to use a special wheel for Tiger’s gear. Wong planned to make Kouya into a gear destroyer too like the way he made Tiger, King and U-ya/Carlos. He is quite irriated that U-ya and Takeshi had refused him. In the first round, Kouya managed to wear out Tiger’s batteries so they have a draw. Hwa was told to use the special wheel for the next battle.

PoT – It is irritating that they have to flash flashbacks of Nanjiroh and how Kunimitsu figured out what Ryoma lacks. There aren’t any new moves from Kunimitsu in the match and was abruptly cut that it showed this and that scene then back again so much for my anticipation for this episode. Well, Kunimitsu dared Ryoma to hit his special ball attacks and use his own technique, not copying Nanjiroh. The next day, Ryoma and Kunimitsu were absent again. Kunimitsu got his arm checked and it was fine but again, the doctor cautioned him of over-using it. He doesn’t seem to care since he wanted to put Ryoma to new heights of tennis beyond Nanjiroh’s. Meanwhile, Ryoma is challenging his father again in tennis as what Kunimitsu said echoed on his head. He managed to get a point as he announced to his father that he wanted to be stronger. Nanjiroh thought that it was good for Ryoma to go to Seigaku because someone there knew what Ryoma lacks and would fill it. The next episode will be Karupin the cat’s adventure in school. It is a filler, I guess.

There is always a problem with counting chickens when they haven't been hatched yet. ^^; Mom might not be able to go to HK anymore because of a silly problem. It is too silly to even discuss here. Oh well. I just hope the best and if it didn't, maybe next time.

Ya and even wrote the details. ^^;

Ya..ya..stop it already. I'm in tweened animation lesson in Flash's lessons within the program. Geez, this is a bit hard. At first, I was able to do it and then when I try to do it, I cannot do it anymore. ^^;

Well, I was able to do it later on. I guess later on, it would be more complicated. CGT - Tiger's past about well, being brought up by a tiger until old man got him and 'tamed' him with his mother's jewel. That is a bit silly though. Jiro lost his game since U-ya was able to improvise his attacks. His consolation was the red bean buns that Kouya made for him.

Isn't it irritating when you are watching something and is really waiting for the match, the director would deliberately slow down stuff? That is what happened in PoT. I was saying to myself, hey, come on, start the match already. The story - Kunimitsu had decided that he will train Ryoma at the expense of his arm even though Sumire and Oishi discouraged him. Kunimitsu is really stubborn about it since he had already made up his mind. He challenged Ryoma to a game after three days. Oishi went with Kunimitsu to his doctor who told him that his arm would get better but he should extert too much effort and not to do a short shot.

On the set date, the other members noticed that Kunimitsu, Oishi and Ryoma are absent. Sumire just told them that all three are sick. At a court somewhere, Kunimitsu is dead serious in playing that he attacks immediately so Ryoma had to get really serious, too. Oishi is watching outside and is really worrying about Kunimitsu's arm especially when Kunimitsu made a short shot - making the ball fall near the net while the opponent is way at the back. Nice tennis poses. While playing, Kunimitsu asked Ryoma why he plays tennis. Ryoma answered to defeat a certain guy. Kunimitsu asked and what if he had done that, what then? The epilogue of this match would be tomorrow.

In OP manga, Sanji and Usopp went to the ship to search for Nami while Nami is dodging Eneru’s lightning attacks. Meanwhile, Luffy is preparing to give chase with the huge gold ball on his hand. Robin is trying to leave the place by helping out Zoro and Chopper – putting feet under them. Nami managed to ward off a small lightning attack with her Clima Tact but Eneru is now using up a larger one to finish her off. She was saved by Usopp’s powder gun. He was all shaky while covering his face and he said I’m Sorry. ^^; Hopefully, he would be able to get something to counter Eneru’s attacks from his wallet bag.

CGT – Takeshi and Korudo won their respective matches. Jiro used a special technique on Kouya’s gear in order to counter U-ya’s since they have the same special attack. That night, Kouya was making something with a dough. It could be something for Tiger since they would also have a match the next day. PoT – Momoshiro, trio and Nanjiroh are spying on Ryoma’s ‘date’ with Sakuno. Ryoma being his usual self is a bit cold that made overly sensitive Sakuno a bit angry and sad. In the end, it turned out that Ryoma was just going to help Sakuno with her tennis and she was acting as if they are really in a date. Nanjiroh managed to trick Momoshiro to treat him lunch. The next episode will be Kunimitsu training Ryoma part 1.

There is a new drama from the rival channel to counter Meteor Garden. It is Bright Girl’s Success – a Korean drama. What a crappy title. As usual, I watch the start to be able to follow the story later on. It is a bit like Meteor Garden – the basic premises. I forgot the girl’s substitute English name so let’s call her, Lilia. Lilia was dreaming of saving her prince from some bad guys and she even karates them. She was abruptly woke up by two of her parents creditors who force her to sign a contract to become a maid in the city to pay for her parents debts. She is just a 4th year high school student – someone call the child abuse center. It turns out that her parents lend money then ran away so Lilia lives in a small house with her grandmother.

She wanted chicken for that day to have a last meal with her grandmother before she leave the next day. Somewhere in Seoul, there is a new president in a make-up company. He is Kim who is quite arrogant and had an airhead of a girlfriend whom he doesn’t pay much attention who kept on tagging around. He decided to jump parachute from a cliff and he lost control that he fell down at Lilia’s bathtub where she was taking a bath. Lilia was furious and shouted at him for being a pervert. Kim told her to just go to his company to pay him. On his way, he fell down and saw a snake. He was frightened stiff so Lilia called him a sissy as she took the snake with her bare hands and moved it away. That night, Kim realized that his necklace with two rings pendant is gone and where would it be? Lilia found it on her tub. This looks promising.

Well, I lost the bet since the layout for the album was shown to sister already. I’m not sourgraping or anything but I don’t like the layout. There are some nice ones but most are repetitive like most just had sis and her fiancé’s name throughout and the only background they can put is the same tulips and bouquet picture.

^^; And I just got it today. My mom might be going to Hong Kong and maybe with sis. Lucky. I would get to buy GB & a bit of others. I have to stall the ones that ‘I don’t like the way this is leading to’ until I know the ending of those manga. I’m getting really picky with the ones that I buy. ^-^

Ginji: That’s because she needed a lot of catching up.

Yup. In CGT, Korudo won the fight and with Jin, they sorted out their problems with each other and with themselves. Chinese girl showed her brothers the fun of playing gear without being tortured while training. Last scene was Takeshi going to the girl head of the association to give her the memory card of Kouya’s illegal fight. He seemed to have explained everything that made her delete it. [ Sorry, the signal kept on disappearing so I have to guess] Takeshi then asked if it was her brother who was the god of gear fighting. Based on the hair, I’m assuming that the archrival of U-ya was her brother. Anyway, she wanted to know why he wanted to know. Takeshi simply said that he is just curious about him and then he left.

It is another Inui juice episode. I read that most of it could be fillers. They have another practice game wherein the two opponents should do their best in defeating the enemy with at least 5 hits or else, drink the dreaded Inui juice. So, I just played guess as to who will drink. First match is Kaidoh and Kawamura. Of course, it is Kaidoh since he is fun to bully. Hehehe. After drinking, he tried to run but he collapse on his way out of the court. Second match is Oishi and Momoshiro. I guessed wrong for it was Oishi who lost. He fell near the drink station. The third match is Kunimitsu and Fuji. Kunimitsu won but he took the wrong drinking water since Oishi bumped into them. He drank the Inui juice. Opps...he tried to be firm as if not affected by it but he is gripping the bottle a bit too hard and is shaking. Hehehe Since the Inui juice was drank, Inui came with his new Inui drink which is grayish. The other one is greenish. The last match is Eiji and Ryoma. Both are determined not to lose but Ryoma exceeded the number of hits so he gets to drink. Yummy...not. The coach said that they already have the official tournament listing. Kunimitsu seem to be planning something for Ryoma and his arm hurts. [Okay, I’m spoiled already I know he plans to train Ryoma to become better.] The next episode might be boring since it is a ‘date’ between Ryoma and Sakuno. Ah yes, I already know the name of Sandra, it is Ann.

In Love Letter, Andrew has returned so Eun ha got all confused and jealous of the nun whom Andrew is always with. In the last part, Andrew knew that Eun ha didn’t get his letter and it was intercepted by Woo-jin. I really think that this is going to end really soon since the next episode Eun ha saw the letter, which Woo-jin still kept. I guess he is stupid for keeping the letter but then, if he didn’t there would be no story.

I went to Nii today. I need to take a blood test here aside from the usual ones since that hospital is the few places that have this blood test. I was first doubtful of the beginner med tech there and well, I was right. It isn’t the typical bruising of taking blood. It was the draw of blood but only a few drops are taken so have to get another one by the one who is good at it. Hahaha...two marks as if bitten by a vampire. The blood test is okay since the medicine would be lowered again though my cholesterol is a bit high even though I don’t each much fatty foods. I would take a new blood test next visit to check if I can change the other medicine, which MIGHT be causing the skin infections. We were supposed to get it today but then the expert blood sucker/taker said that we should do it next time. The one taken already cannot be used since it had to be transferred to a different tube.

Anime Update: In CGT, a lot of flashbacks as Korudo and Jin are sorting each other’s personal problems. The first round, Korudo won while the next was Jin. It is interesting that even though Jin looked younger, it was Korudo whose attitude is more childish – doesn’t like losing and have poor confidence. Jin is just a loner. I like today’s PoT episode, which might be a filler. Kaidoh is preparing for his jogging around while Ryoma, Momoshiro and the trio [ first year players] was on their way to go shopping at a tennis store. They met a thief who is on skates. Momoshiro tried to be the hero so he chased after the thief, stole Kamio’s bicycle. Naturally, Kamio [from Fudomine and played against Kaioh] chased after Momoshiro and thought that he was Kaidoh. ^^; They drove pass Eiji and Kawamura [wrong spelling before. ^^;]Eiji isn’t happy that Momoshiro told Kamio that he is the no. 1 player in Seigaku. Hehehe

With Kamio was Ibu, the one whom Ryoma had a match and got a wound. The two met and was staring at each other. The trio was relieved that they haven’t done anything to try to ‘kill’ each other. They went to the tennis store. At a corner, Kaidoh went out and got tripped by the thief, biked on by Momoshiro and got stepped on by Kamio. ^^; The bag that the thief was holding flew and fell on Kaidoh that he was thought to be the thief. The woman clarified everything and Kaidoh blushed when she said that he had more looks than the thief. Back to the race, the two started to outrun each other that Momoshiro made a wrong turn and fell on the stairs. Momoshiro explained everything to Kamio who understood him.

Then, they heard a shout of a girl, it was Sandra who was being bullied by two new guys since she defended her brother’s team. Kamio and Momoshiro went to defend her. Sandra is starting to have a crush on Momoshiro. Hehehe The two new guys challenged them to a doubles. They agreed. It was funny to see the ones whom Momoshiro and Ryoma first had a match [Izumi and Fukawa] doubted Momoshiro’s doubles skill. So, they played with them. The ‘brain’ is just sitting while he tell the other player where to hit the ball. ‘Brain’ saw Momoshiro’s skill so he stopped the game. Kamio was furious that his name wasn’t being asked. Meanwhile, at the tennis store, Ryoma and Ibu are fighting over a package of tape which was the only one, neither one wanted to lose it for the other. “Let go”...”no”...”let go”...”how many times do I have to tell you let go let go”...”The same for me no no no.” ^-^;

The thief had another victim and this time, it was Eiji and Kawamura. Eiji was going to chase him but when he gave his racket to Kawamura, the latter changed and must hit something so he hit Eiji’s softdrink can and it hit the thief which made the bag flew away. Guess who got hit by the can and the bag? Who else but Kaidoh who got praised again for being nice. Eiji is still sore that he wasn’t able to finish his drink when they met Ryoma and Ibu at the tennis store. Instead of compromising the two, Eiji cheered for Ryoma not to let go since it would be embarrassing for Seigaku to lose this way. Ryoma agreed. Hehehe The two bought it anyway and went outside to determine who gets the tape. Ryoma wanted a tennis match and just then, the thief came over so Eiji said who ever stopped the thief will win. Ryoma won and won the tape. The tennis ball flew right into Kaidoh’s face that he fell downwards of a hill, I think. Kaidoh immediately went to the scene as the others said that he was really practicing hard since he was all dirty. Kaidoh is really pissed that he wanted to beat the crap of the thief as Kawamura tries to save the thief. Eiji was talking with Momoshiro to ask who won between him and Kamio. While Ibu is murmuring something that I wasn’t able to understand but it is something about tennis and the game they had before.

My luck with aquariums lately has been bad. The new one, which was actually given by sis’ fiancé, had a crack because the table where it was placed cannot handle the weight, I think. I had to get the convicts back to their old cracked home, which was glued by silicon. I just didn’t fill the water to the top where the crack was. Good thing that convicts are hardy fishes. Hopefully, I would find them a permenent home.

What does a guy wearing a necklace with a ring as its pendant mean? Does it mean that he is attached? I saw it on 5566 Tony. I do remember that when Jacky Cheung got married he also wore that kind of necklace. I asked sis and she said that some guys just don’t like wearing rings on their fingers so they wear it as a necklace. I wonder where that came from – the origin of that.

I watched a Korean movie last night called Chunhyang. It seemed to be a folk story since alternating with the story was a storyteller with a drummer in the theater. The storyteller was sing-song the poem as the people listen while the only background to it is the drum. The setting is ancient Korea wherein they still have their feudal system – king and queen. I forgot what it was called. ^^;; Chunhyang is a kisaeng [ the Korean alternate for a geisha ] who was wooed by Mongryong [ which meant Dream Dragon, I know since in Gender Wars, one of them is named after that character and there is a Chinese subtitle. ^-^ ] who is the son of the governor. He was quite persistent and managed to win her as his wife.

One day, he have to go to Seoul to get a state exam so he left her. There was a new governor who was corrupt and likes women. He was furious that Chunhyang wasn’t there. The law of slavery is effective here since one’s mother’s is a kisaeng, the daughter will also become one. She wants to be loyal to her husband so she asked the governor to excuse her. The governor punished her instead and prepared to execute her on his birthday. Meanwhile Mongryong passed the state exam and was made into the king’s secret embissary to investigate on the towns. He went back to his hometown and saved Chunhyang. In the end, they are all happy, as Chunhyang was known for her love/loyalty for her husband.

This movie somewhat reminded me of Tale of Genji which I haven’t finished reading since I graduated since they talk in poems which have secret messages. It is really evident here that Korea is influenced by both China and Japan. The writing here is still in Chinese and not what are Korea characters. This is a nice cultural movie and well, it is an art film for it did compete in the Cannes festival. Like some art films, there is some nudity here. ^^; I still have to get used to watching stuff like that.

Today, I watched The Others which starred Nicole Kidman. It was okay though not so scary since my sister was able to watch it. I did got spoiled by it already since I saw the ending before and well, I just put one thing to another. I know what it was all about.

In anime update, the PoT is no longer shown on Saturdays since Rurouni Kenshin is the one there. I wasn’t able to watch much of Naruto since I was watching Meteor Garden and forgot that local channels are not on time. It is just a short mission wherein they were attacked by chain-weilding guys. Sasuke was able to fight for himself and Kakashi was able to apprehend the enemies. Naruto is very angry that he wasn’t much of use and try to be boastful that he isn’t hurt. He only started to panic when Kakashi told him that he could be poisoned. ^^; Well, Naruto’s fox power had neutralized it.

In Yugioh, Ryou was defeated by evil Malik’s attack of merging himself with his god card. Ryou managed to stay alive by holding a piece? of the millennium item that made him go to the heart’s puzzle of Yugi. It is somewhat like a inner heart of one’s desire and since Yugi doesn’t remember his past, it was a maze. I got that from the scanlations I read before. Good Malik used Hazaki to tell his sister, Ishizu that Rishin is in danger so she managed to hide him from evil Malik. The last scene was they are going to the tower which was owned by Kaiba’s stepfather? whom Kaiba hated to have the final match as he said that he is going to make his own destiny and his future will not be made by others. By the way, Kaiba was able to read the secret writings on Malik’s god card so he also learn of the special merging technique. He is the opposite of Yugi, for he doesn’t want to know his past which he had sealed.

In OP anime, Luffy and the others had arrived on Drum Island. They bowed to the people to let them find a doctor, just for Nami. The people agreed and told them that they only have one doctor, a witch doctor who lives up a mountain. Luffy and Sanji took Nami there while the others stay with Dalton, the head of Drum Island. Ah yes, Zoro is doing his power-up exercises. Dalton told them that they have a tyrant who was driven away but that guy might return. Vivi realized that it was Wapol. There are some fun stuff here like Luffy and Usopp trying to outdo each other’s snowman, a hiking bear whom you have to salute and crazy Luffy slapping Nami to tell her of their plan to take her to the mountains. ^-^; Nice scene was when Vivi and Usopp would rather stay outside to wait for their friends.

I spent the whole afternoon replanting the floating plants in the aquarium and cleaned a bit the other aquariums which seemed to be dirty already. No matter how deep I plant them, they just love to float and maybe I had too much light since they grow too fast that it is becoming crowded already. The slow growing ones are not doing well though.

Sigh, why does Jump had to re-design their site or rather, why is there no preview of the latest Jump colored pics inside anymore. I won’t get to see the nice mini-posters anymore and well, One Piece’s. It has been a long time since Oda-sensei drew one. Ah yes, Asher, here is the link for Kicks Megamix, the new taekwondo series. It is still underconstruction though but you’ll get to see the two lead characters. ^-^

In CGT, Chinese leader is going to blackmail Kouya for the pictures he took during the destroy-gear tournament wherein he defeated King. It is forbidden in Gear Association. Kouya was going to let Tiger’s brother win over him until his teammates asked him what was the matter. Kouya told them and they said that he should still do his best and they will support him so Kouya won. It seemed that Chinese leader torture the players during practice. Anyway, Chinese leader went to the president of the Association while the media are taking pictures. A boy bumped to him, obviously to switch the memory card [digital camera] and Korudo seemed to recognize him. The Chinese leader’s memory card only had panda pictures so everyone laughed at him as Kouya wondered what happened. Outside, the boy was Billiard boy whom Korudo had fought before and he gave the memory card to Takeshi who thanked him for doing it. The next game will be Jin and Korudo’s.

Nothing much happened in PoT. ^^; They are training as students from other schools are visiting their school. There are two guys who are spying on Ryoma. Ryoma was playing a ball on a string and there was this guy who was taunted him for not being able to hit his face so Ryoma used his left hand and kapow. The two spies then followed Ryoma and Momoshiro and challenged them to a doubles match. The spies are very, very bad and managed to score a point because of chance. They decided to train harder to win and after they left, Ryoma read their notes which they left and teased Momoshiro about it. Last scene, Kunimitsu was practing and was thinking of Ryoma. Mm...since I’m a bit spoiled, I won’t think maliciously about it. hehehe.

In Love letter, yes, Eun ha had a heart ailment and had 25% chance of survival unless she had a heart transplant, according to mom. I’m hoping that it isn’t a certain priest who would donate it. Woo-jin is still very angry at Eun ha for leaving him just when they are engaged but in the end, he cannot bring himself to hate her. They are together again. Meanwhile, in Italy, Andrew was found guilty, I think for malpractice or something. It seemed that he is a doctor-priest. The head priest suggested that he return to his home to cool off and re-collect himself. The last scene was Woo-jin gave Eun ha a new necklace and Eun ha gave him her cross necklace, which was a pair with the one Andrew has. The preview. Andrew has returned so the just re-united couple felt really uneasy. Also, Andrew learned that Eun ha didn’t get the letter. Woo hoo. I have to wait until Monday to know what happened.

I was surfing around to look for the song in the Korean drama, ‘Love Letter’. It is the one that I thought meant ‘Love Book’ ^^;; The story is really good and while surfing I was careful not to get myself spoiled. I did find a site selling it and there were reviews about it, which, were all good. I somewhat got a hint what will happen.

Ya. ^^; I did know who sang it, Tri-Be and the song was ‘Heaven’s Farewell.’ So I did try to find the song and it is so cruel, I did find one but all of the links for the ost of Love Letter isn’t working but for the others, it is working and even in mp3. The one for Love Letter is just online listen. Argh. I learned that it was based on a book. I will summary what had happened so far since I really liked this drama already. The acting is really good, too. It also had lots of romantic moments. Sigh, Korea is such a beautiful place from the nice scenes shown in this drama.

^^; So, to the story, the third guy, Jung Woo-jin had arrived and had fallen for Cho Eun ha. Yo Cheng knew Shing he’s feeling for Andrew whose other name is Lee Woo-jin, the one who wanted to be priest. Woo-jin had to tell Andrew that Eun ha likes him so it made Andrew a bit uneasy with Eun ha. When Woo-jin started to date Eun ha, Andrew started getting jealous. Wow, his reaction is really good. To make matters worse, it turned out that Woo-jin’s stepmother was Andrew’s real mother – their names is a favorite of the mother. Later on, her brother, the priest, changed Lee Woo-jin’s name to Andrew to avoid any problems later on. The real mother is torn between the two and in the end left Andrew for her new family – Woo-jin’s. A reason was Woo jin’s deaf sister got sick so she left him when they are suppose to go on a trip. Andrew decided to leave for Italy, which hurts Eun ha very much. They had a nice date before he left. On that day, Andrew wrote a note on Eun ha’s letter when they were high school wherein Eun ha wrote her feelings for Andrew.

The note said that he will had learned to love Eun ha and if ever she still wished to be with him, he will return after a year and be with her forever. Woo-jin intercepted the letter hence, the title. So, after a few years, Andrew didn’t return while Woo-jin who was writing to him that he and Eun ha are doing together. Eun ha was suppose to get engaged with Woo-jin when she left for two years after that. Woo-jin was quite angry and just when he is with another woman, Eun ha returned. Hehehe From what I’m watching now, Eun ha seemed to be sick. I tend to scared of that since they might kill her off just like in the other Korean drama.

Another boring episode of CGT wherein Jiro played against boastful US actor and won. In PoT, Ryoma managed to win his match just before his 10 minutes is up. After the game, they celebrated at Kamemura’s dad’s sushi shop. Poor Eiji. His favorite type of sushi is all being eaten up and he cannot eat Fuji’s. I think Fuji had a different kind of taste buds since he can handle Inui’s special drink. Ryoma wanted to escape from the scene but was caught by Momoshiro. At home, Nanjiroh was laughing his head off over Ryoma’s injury because of tennis. ^^;;

Every year, I think there is a thing called Star Olympics by local showbiz people who engage in friendly games/sports and the thing that is news about it was when they have fights during the basketball game. ^-^; I think those who are involved are imitating an unrestrained Hanamichi [Slam Dunk] especially when I heard one of them made a headbutt. They really take their basketball game seriously. Well, it is the news now since the headbutt guy wanted to sue the victim’s teammates for hitting him back. Maybe they should change that event to a boxing tournament.

In CGT, Kouya had changed and told Korudo & Jin to enjoy their next game since they are playing against each other while the one who created U-ya’s gear told them why he made another one for Carlos. Kouya also visited Tiger to apologize then he left. There was a bit of change but when they were interrupted Tiger went back to crazy weird self. In PoT, Ryoma’s opponent realized a weakness of Ryoma which I think was he was short ^^; that made Ryoma’s left hand not move where he want. He got frustrated that he twisted his body to use his right hand but the racket slips, hits the post and causing it to break. A piece of the racket’s handle went near Ryoma’s left eye, which wounded him. They managed to stop the bleeding for 15 minutes. Kunimitsu told him that he can only play for 10 minutes and if he doesn’t win, the game will end. They even put a little timer of 10 minutes at the side of the game, which kept moving even if they aren’t doing anything. ^^;; Hehehe

Oh ya, I just learned that Getbackers got licensed so goodbye scanlations and hello manga. ^^;

Hehehe...I have been re-reading the GB volumes that I have. There was one time when I remembered that mangaka like to insert some other characters in chibi form in their manga. I remembered chibi Tasuki in Aya’s room in Ayashi no Ceres. So, I flipped to the part where I saw stuffed toys in GB and guess what, I found Plue among the other weird and normal looking toys.

I had been moving my convicts to their new home so I wasn’t able to put a new entry. Last Sunday, I watched the adventure type game of 5566 and the gang whrein they are in some waterworld amusement park. During the choosing of how would join the obstacle they had played jakenpon. I realized that they had already revised it by adding certain movements like instead of just the usual, they would made arm movements and the winner will win if both hands point to a certain direction. It was too fast that I didn’t get it. Another was they have a sing-song first then using two hands. The other way to eliminate if a group instead of the usual, flip hands and who is the same would be in one group, they would form a line then count 1 – nth and then, the numbers divisible by three would clap their hands [those who are in the center alternately] then, those counting shouldn’t shout those numbers divisible by three. Sounds fun, got to try on my niece next time. I have to watch some more maybe there are other things like that. The other two variation I know is the Jap version with the use of the toy hammer and a metal basin and also, the one with using the hand to point either left or right, the other one’s head should not follow where it points.

I also watched Shrek since I’m bored. It was okay until midway I already predicted what will happen in the end. That afternoon, I was coloring a Bleach pic then realized that I’m bad with coloring outfits of girls – a blouse, a skirt with patch? flowers and a cardigan. Mm...should they be of the same shade or different ones but doesn’t crash? I think I need to go to the mall to see since I don’t wear those type of clothes. ^^;

But you don’t wear a cardigan...It is for the next blog pic and I realized that I made a mistake with the counting of the seasons. It was suppose to be an autumn pic but it isn’t autumn yet. So, summer pic would stay here until I finish this one. It is just a hint of autumn and if it looked crappy, I won’t post it. ^^; I have already done the autumn one – pumpkins and all. Just need some wordings for it.

Anime update: In CGT, Kouya re-discovered about loving one’s gear and loving to play without resorting to wrecking the other player’s gear thanks to the guy whom he met who asked his help to change King back to his normal self. After that he returned to his team, Kaoru was there waiting for him. During his last battle, the leader of Chinese team was taking pictures of Kouya maybe to be used as blackmail later on and someone was watching from the door. I’m not sure who it was but it seemed to be Korudo but that is just a guess.

Yugioh – Evil Malik and Ryou are still fighting plus some flashbacks. Okay, I’m concentrating on One Piece. They encountered Wapol who must have been based on a hippo. ^^; They managed to ward him off as they went to a snow island. Luffy was so happy to see snow that he totally forgot that it was cold. When they reached the island, the villagers didn’t believe that they needed a doctor for Nami.

On the manga, it seemed that Luffy is having a hard time fighting with Eneru that he was trapped by gold molded by Eneru. It is hard to imagine since I’m also reading the summary. So, Nami decided that there is nothing for her to want to join Eneru so it might be a showdown. In the meantime, Sanji and Usopp had recovered from being zapped by Eneru had already arrived at the ship, maybe to help Nami. This is against the prediction that Luffy would just win this fight alone. In the short story, Ace got drifted to a Marine’s headquaters. I wonder what will happen next. Just one week wait to learn. ^-^

In PoT, I think Kaidoh won his game. ^^;; I wasn’t able to watch if he did or did not, I must have blanked out but the last scene was he didn’t give up and managed to toss the ball where the opponent couldn’t reach. Next was Ryoma’s game. He was able to get the edge for now but from the preview, it doesn’t seem good. There are lots of flashback on Nanjiroh as to how he became good at tennis with Sumire’s training just because he wanted to get back at her for giving him a blackeye just when he had a date. Kunimitsu knew what Sumire wanted from Ryoma so he began to study Ryoma’s game intently. There was this girl who seemed a bit bossy and knew a lot about tennis who befriended Sakuno. I’m not sure if she is important in the story but I cannot get her name so temporarily, I name her Sandra. Sandra turned out to be the sister of Kippei, Fudomine’s captain/coach. She helped Sakuno get out of being bullied by a guy. The guy wanted her to pay 30,000 for stepping on his brand new shoes. Momoshiro saved the girls and challenged the boastful guy who immediately left.

I learned that Vanness of F4 was from LA Boyz before. Geez, I didn’t recognize him. ^^;; The memorable song from LA Boyz that I still remember was That’s the way...uh-huh-uh-huh, I like it. Hehehe, I don’t even know if it is their original song or just a variation from some other song. I watched a bit of Lavender. It had too many flashbacks and if I’m correct, the lead girl had a health problem. Mm.. that doesn’t sound good since if the writer is evil, the girl might be killed off for a tradegy. Well, maybe not since I don’t think Taiwanese drama tend to be tragic or had bad endings. I have already heard the opening song by Ambrose Hsu before, maybe from a Taiwanese channel. Ah yes, they had manga drawings at the opening. The art is really good and the drawing of the guy when it is just the eyes, reminded me of Squall – FF8. ^^; It just what came into mind.

After lunch today, I went with my father to this Japanese store which I thought was a gift shop but it just sells ceramic bowls and chopsticks. The others are typical things used in the kitchen or the house. There was a sign, which said selling love books. My father thought that it was manga and was about to ask but I told him it has to be ‘man hwa’ – Chinese word for comics so we didn’t ask anymore. Then, we went to the library to browse again but it is infuriating for me since it is all in Chinese. I ended up just looking at the pictures of HK showbiz magazines. It is amazing how Nicholas Tse rebounded from his accident scandal. There were shots of him with different hairstyles and still looking cool as usual. It seemed that Lee Hom is quite popular in Japan. I’m not sure if it is attributed to his movie, Moon Child with Gackt and Hyde. Ah yes, forgot to mention that he was a guest in MTV Japan Awards and he just spoke in fluent English there.

I was surprised to see PoT today and wondered if I had missed a couple of episode which was shown on last Saturdays but the episode today was a rerun from Friday. Was it a mistake in broadcasting or deliberate? In Naruto, Kakashi managed to evade all of Sasuke’s attacks and easily tricked Sakura with Sasuke’s illusion. It was already 12 noon so they failed the test. Sasuke was vivid with anger that he attacked Kakashi but it ended up with Kakashi’s sermon to them about the purpose of the test, which was to team up with each other. They also have their own selfish reasons, which was used by Kakashi when he asked what are their favorites and dislikes. He told them that only Naruto cannot eat and they should not give him any food. Sasuke still offered him as well as Sakura their food. Kakashi was threatening them for disobeying but Sasuke answered that they are together in this. The two backed him up and Kakashi told them that they had passed.

I watched a talk show in the morning on Chinese culture. It irked me that one of the guest who was an actor for a drama wherein he plays a Filipino-Chinese said that those Chinese who doesn’t want their children to inter-marry with Filipinos should just leave the country and go back to their own country where they can do just that. How ironic that he doesn’t understand the role he is playing. Actually, I don’t think it is just for the Filipinos for it can be multi-cultural. My parents do prefer pure Chinese descent and I guess it is their discrimination. Okay, most parents/adults I know think that way. ^^; So, the host on that show immediately interrupted and changed the topic before they start a debate. The talk wasn’t quite informative and it is just to promote Meteor Garden. They did say they never knew what made it so popular. The point of this discussion is I think the actor should have respect that belief/tradition? of the Chinese and do not say unnecessary things like that.

I was changing channels and stumbled upon MTV Asia that had Japanese videos. I watched a bit, hoping that I might know some of the songs. Of all, there is only one, which was a theme song in One Piece. Lucky. They just made the singers have elongated body parts like Luffy.

Nami: Hey, they are promoting your show!

Then, after that, there was MTV Japan Awards. It was okay and I don’t know much of the singers. It is puzzling as to why they include international singers [Western] in their categories. I was thinking that it should be pure Japanese videos competing. In CGT, Kouya met a guy who is a gear master and showed him a secret tournament wherein gears are wrecked. He wanted Kouya to play against King who looked like a purple/blue haired Saiyan with punk clothes. ^^; Meanwhile in PoT, a whole episode spent on reflecting on things while waiting for the rain to stop to continue the game. Oh yes, Eiji and Oishi won their doubles game. The last scene was Kaidoh almost sliced off the opponent’s head with his racket who was irritating him. I didn’t get what the guy said to him. ^^; He managed to return a ball by sliding it outside the net at the side. Okay, I don’t know if that was even counted as a point. They are very happy over Kaidoh’s new snake technique and the freshmen named it.

Yesterday, I went to the designer in the late afternoon with sis, her fiancé and my mom to decide on the gowns already. It was raining so there is a bit of traffic. This designer was quite friendly and entertained us unlike the others since sis’ fiancé’s father tends to have his suits done here. Sis already designed her when she went there before. It was sleeves-less tube gown with A-line skirt. It will have lots of beadwork in front which was like embossed on the dress while at the back, there is a circling beadwork and two tiny ribbons for drama, he said. The cloth will be Thai silk. For the bridesmaid and me, it would be a strapped gown, which has a straight cut skirt. There is somewhat of a flap at the back, which is also embroidered and the front had a bit of embroidery, too. It was based on a picture on a wedding magazine for a bride which sis planned to use for hers. ^^; My sis’ dress is also from the magazine. Well, most designers here get their ideas form magazines and if it is their own creation, it usually the type for fashion shows that you don’t usually wear in weddings.

Mom got her design too which has an embroidered front Sabrina cut dress. Her cloth is also Thai silk. For the mothers and godmothers/sponsors would be Thai silk while for the entourage, it would be glazed Shantung. There is no design for the secondary sponsors since they would have to go there and well, agree on a design since the designer said that it would be hard to design without seeing the person yet. Sis would have to go with them to the designer next time.

After that, we went to the Japanese restaurant, Shinjuku. I like to go there not because of the food but for the manga there. Hehehe I saw some Japanese who are eating alone are reading manga. I want to say to my mom, ‘And you told me no one does that.’ Obviously, I have a tendency to do that since I had a hard time eating. Okay, that’s my bad habit. I glance at the small bookcase and saw Mr. Fullswing of Shounen Jump. I knew him because I tend to visit their website frequently. Lucky, it is an almost new issue. I have already seen the OP chapter but the others are new. Bleach – Ichigo was fighting someone and won. PoT – I think it was Kaidoh playing with someone. Dang, I forgot. SK – Ren, Horohoro and Chocolat are going to the tournament stadium as three witchcraft? girls defeat three little old women. I was quite surprised to see Lyserg and the blond guy of X-law driving a car with Yoh’s servant and Manta inside. Where they defeated by Hao already? Ah yes, Iron Maiden was in it, too. Yugioh – it is set in the past Egpyt wherein the Pharaoh? and his group holding their respective millennium items are out to fight against some enemies. Blackcat – Eve is fighting with windy boy who was with Creed’s group. I didn’t notice much, who was with Eve, was it Train? Naruto – I don’t understand much here but he was with some people and was traveling around. HxH- the art is really bad as if it was just a draft. They are still trying to get cards. Well, the others, I don’t know follow them. ^^;;

Today, I went to Muraki and the wound is healing fine so I graduate to changing the dressings at home. I went to the store to buy Asher’s Slamdunk manga then went to the office later on. On short anime update, Chinese leader of Tiger’s group met with Kouya and told him about U-ya’s secret. He was furious and confronted Lilika about it but trying to explain stuff to him was useless for Kouya thought he was betrayed. Korudo won his game. Jin was staying at the hotel then heard a knock from the door. It was a letter and an ointment for Kouya’s hand from Chinese girl. Kouya’s hand was healed but he was still vividly angry over Carlos for ‘killing’ his brother that he wrecked his opponent’s gear to pieces during their game. Lilika reprimanded him and it turned ugly that Kouya swore he never play gear again then ran off. In PoT – they are now having games against Fudomine. The first double match ended by Seigaku [Ryoma’s school]’s Fuji and Kanemura calling it quits since Kanemura hurt his wrist after hitting a very hard ball by the opponent to save Fuji. It was Eiji and Oishi’s game next and the opponent was no match for Eiji’s acrobatic play. Meanwhile Ryoma was intent of challenging someone else from Fudomine.

I just downloaded the first arc [3 chapters of 1st volume] of Yamada Tarou Monogatari from the only site which had it. It only has 5 chapters. I was hoping to know how did Taro and Takuya met but it started with the two knowing each other already. I was thinking of buying this manga but there are some side stories which I do not like to read on like how Taro’s mother, father, siblings and others. ^^; The most fun I read was when the two were together. Hehehe Well, the reason why Takuya hangs around Taro because it is ‘interesting’ when he was with him. A good example was when Takuya’s sisters trained Taro to compete with a friend’s fiancé but Taro could not handle how expensive things are spent on him like clothes and haircut. In the end, during the party, Taro blew his top when the girls are having a food fight that he spanked the girls. That night, Taro slept like a baby for relieving his stress while Takuya kept on laughing in his sleep when he remembers what happened. By the way, Taro is also busy freaking out that his sister [the 4th] had fallen for Takuya and Takuya’s grandfather wanted her to be Takuya’s fiancé even though the girl is still in elementary. ^^;

In the drama, the lead girl seemed to be overacting a bit since she walks and runs funny as if slow motion and doing many unnecessary movements. When my mom saw it, I have to just give an alibi that the drama is based on a manga and the girl is acting like a cartoon character. Geez, it would be pretty embarrassing if people would see that I’m watching and would think what kind of taste I had for tv programs. I don’t remember that in the manga actually, I haven’t seen much of the girl in the manga only a scene at the pancake episode.

I still cannot catch the opening of Scrapped Princess. ^^; They got out of a cult cave and faced some women soldiers who seemed to have an agenda with the princess. I’m just fond at looking at her guy guard who really looked bored/sleepy. Hehehe Sigh, if only this had subtitles. In CGT, Chinese girl had a hard time fighting with Jin for she wanted to protect her brother Tiger so Jin instead of sacrificing himself would rather be branded as a gear destroyer. He wrecked the girl’s gear into pieces. The end scene was the girl was very much happy that now, she is free from forced gear fighting. Mm..I didn’t expect that one.

In PoT, Ryoma and Momoshiro managed to win their doubles match by dividing their court into two and they just defend their part of the court. Later on, they are shamed by their coach, Sumire by pinching their cheeks for doing such a stunt of playing doubles when they don’t know how to play. The two swore never to play doubles again. Hehehe The rest of the team beat the other members of the opponent’s group hands down. Then, there was this proud guy with a little scar below his eye that was yapping that Ryoma’s school would be against his. They called him like Nine demon or something. He managed to catch up with Kunimitsu and Fuji. He taunts Kunimitsu for not playing because of an arm/hand injury. Kunimitsu just snubbed him and left with Fuji. In the last match of Nine demon, his team was defeated by a group of members who looked like they belong to a gangster. ^^;; Sigh, I think I need to research on the school names and the opponent names.

Last Friday night, I had a good laugh with the Taiwanese game show which had 5566’s two members – Tony and Zac as mainstay. They are so funny and I did notice that they tend to wear the same type of clothes though not exactly the same. ^^; It just makes me want to cry since the local dub made Zac into gay. Sigh.

I went with sis’ wedding field trip last Saturday to a videographer. They are now thinking of not having a digital photographer anymore even though I’m still biased since if it is just film-based, I cannot tinker with the photos. It is a hassle to scan than just popping in a cd. Oh well, that’s their tentative decision. We stayed at sis’ fiancé’s house for a while since he had to sign a contract. It seemed that Destiny cable has the missing Chinese channel of our cable. Oh well, I still won’t change since the other channels are not in there and that has a lot of anime. Hehehe

We almost got lost trying to find the address of the said videographer because the street numbering is very weird. It kept on jumping from 400, then, 525 then 432 then 573 [something like that] as we go down the street. ^^; We are looking for 537. The video is not very clear but it is the cheapest as of now, which sis can find. Let’s just say, it is okay, not that bad and not that good. I glanced at the albums since sis’ fiancé is hesitant over digital photography because my cousin’s pictures have this yellowish tint on the skin tone. It looked as if people have hepatitis. ^^; That one, tend to have it, too. Could it be the camera? Sis’ fiancé’s aunt had a canon one whose skin tones looked okay while another one which was shot in a different camera and had yellowish skin tones, too.

So, as a digital photographer, correcting skin tones is quite important since there are some shots which looked okay. Maybe the one who ‘photoshops’ it got lazy. ^^;; Also, film photographers are better than digital since they do not have to re-touch their work unlike digital photographers. Let’s just say there are pros and cons so as I thought, it would be better if it were two and I’m a bit biased, I like digital. Hehehe Okay, I’m not the one getting married. After that, I went to the comic and collectibles con in a mall, which Asher told me about. I thought they moved it since in all the large trade show doors are closed. It was moved to this little small room at the back.

The ticket was very cheap compared to the anime cons so I and sis went in. Sis’ fiancé was circling outside the mall since it was full parking. The place was crowded and lots of old toys and stuff being sold. There are some anime vcd also and a booth of online rpg game for the internet which I already knew before since bro told me that he knew the owner. Their calling card is quite nice though. ^-^ Then, there was a guy who thought we were twins. ^^; Mm..many people tend to say that though I never really thought that we looked like each other. I would have explored it more closely but then, there are lots of people and it is hard to maneuver around the booths.

We stopped by to a videographer that was there, too. It was much expensive and their term of payment was paying everything before the project is finished. It is quite risky. Their video is okay though and the couple picked fast/upbeat songs so it is not boring than well, slow songs as the typical in most wedding video. After that, we ate at sis’ fiancé house and watched his friend’s cousin’s wedding video which was also done by the first videographer so tentatively, they might get this one unless there is someone much cheaper or makes a better job at that price. We went home and I ended that day by watching a Korean drama.

I forgot that I also went to Muraki that day. There was no pus anymore and he just bandaged it and told me to go back on Thursday. Dang, it hurts and now, it is very itchy. I went around gift shops as if I was looking for something and it was my mom who ended up buying something. Hehehe I did found a Slam Dunk manga which Asher was looking for. I managed to collect a bit of money from the manga that I was selling at another store. Mm..I think only a whole set of Basara and one double copy of TCP was left. I’m somewhat itching to order Getbackers though. Most shops here are F4 crazy since they are selling a lot of that merchandise and even for those who cannot wait or stand the dub, the whole series of both seasons in vcd. I don’t know if it has English dub though.

Yesterday, I just bum around the house since sis’ fiancé was out in Baguio for work. Brother and his children came here to hang around. They even didn’t want to go to the mall anymore since they had more fun at our house. We tried to prevent them from taking the toys home since if they come back, they would no longer have any toys to play with. My brother took this opportunity to nap. Hehehe

Anime update: Naruto – The trio met their group teacher, Kakashi who asked them what are their favorite, dislike and goal. Naruto likes to eat noodles and generally, talked about food, forgot his dislike and his goal was something like graduating. Sakura likes her secret crush –‘Sasuke’, wants to get married with him and hates Naruto. Sasuke’s answer was that he doesn’t like anything, hates almost everything and his goal is to get rid of someone. Naruto wondered if it was him. ^^; Then, Kakashi told them to go to a place for practice/test and to wait for him there at 5am. They should not eat breakfast.

They arrived and it was about lunch time when Kakashi arrived. They were furious. Kakashi told them their test, which was to grab two bells from him and the one who didn’t get one, wouldn’t eat lunch. Sasuke and Sakura hide as they try to figure out a way to ambush Kakashi. Naruto attacks him without being sneaky which amazes Kakashi, I think for his stupidity. ^^; Kakashi managed to get dodge Naruto’s attack as he was reading a love/pervert? book. Naruto then used his many ‘Narutos technique’ but Kakashi managed to escape it by replacing himself with Naruto and they beat themselves up. Finally, Kakashi put down a bell on the ground so when Naruto tried to pick it up, he was trapped by the typical hanging one’s foot with a rope on the tree. Sasuke attacked while they are talking. Naruto shouted that Sasuke wasn’t suppose to do that [or something like, that’s way overdoing it] as Sasuke’s darts hit Kakashi and blood got splattered around. That’s it.

In Yugioh, Ishizu told the others about Malik’s past about they going outside but was caught by their strict father that the father punished the brother. Malik’s evil side woke up and killed their father. Later on, they find out that the brother is still alive which brought back old Malik. Ishizu told them that she could no longer predict the future with her necklace since Kaiba changed the future. She gave it to Yugi so that maybe he can help when he collected all of the millennium items. Meanwhile, evil Malik was about to kill off his brother, Rishin/Lester when Ryou came who was counter possessed by good Malik. They challenged each other to a card game.

I had cheated and found some scans of Yugioh so I can more or less, know what is happening there. It would just be until this battle and when they had a group contest, which wasn’t scanned throughout. So, I would be channel switching this with One Piece for the Taiwanese channel had caught up with the ones I had.

CGT – Lilika confronted her father to confirm what Takeshi learned. The other U-ya was the one whom the real U-ya saved from a car accident and was the unintentional cause of his death. To comfort the shock of the boy Carlos, Lilika’s father made another gear like U-ya for the boy. He became a ‘monster’ for he joined the destruction club under the name, U-ya, and went on destroying other gears during games. Her father was helping him so that maybe if he won the championship, Carlos would change back to normal. Lilika wasn’t too please about it since there is a possibility for Kouya learned that Carlos was the reason why U-ya died. Meanwhile, Kouya got left behind in the last tournament destination so Takeshi asked him to join him and his group on his private jet to the new place. After they landed, Takeshi shook hands with Kouya again and left Kouya with Lilika. Lilika was happy that Takeshi kept his promise not to say anything to Kouya.

It is now one-on-one fights again but randomly. Jiro would had a game with Tiger’s thin bro. Jin is against Chinese girl, his crush. Korudo would have a game against the blond European guy whom he competed with before. Kouya would had a fight would someone unkown. Jiro won his first game as Kouya is having problem with his hand because of the battle before. Chinese girl was spying on him and knew about it.

In PoT, the first half of the episode was on how the team spend their mornings and going to school. So far, two members had sisters, Fuji and and Eiji. I really hoped for Momoshiro to met Nanjiroh when he went to pick up Ryoma since they are going to school together. The next half was they are going to a friendly tournament with other schools, I think. There aren’t that many audience so I thought it wasn’t really official. Their members are odd number so only one would not play in doubles. It would be Kunimitsu. Everyone was surprised that Ryoma and Momoshiro would play together. They were able to score the first few points against their former opponents [spiky and long hair] at the park until the opponents realized that they aren’t that good yet. Ryoma’s bag fell and his teammates saw the book on doubles so they learned that it was really his first time. Uh-oh as Ryoma and Momoshiro are starting to get on each other’s nerves. Hehehe

On drama, in the Love Book, it doesn’t seem to be a high school drama anymore. It was fast forwarded and they are now in the university. It is interesting to know that before becoming a priest, they would even study for college first. Who is becoming a priest? Who else but the cute guy much to the girl’s dismay. She recovered a bit since they are going to live together in the city until college graduation. Then, there was this guy who would form the love triangle, claiming that the girl was his Savior and I think he was the son of the girl’s friend. Ah yes, the girl’s mother was some flirty actress while the father seemed to have a criminal record. After they graduated in high school, girls asked for the guy’s button as a sign that they would be together. I remember before about this but I forgot where I saw it. Maybe a Korean/Jap tradition or maybe Western since it isn’t done here. Anyway, the girl who had a crush on him before got one and he gave one to the lead girl. The last scene was they learned that both of them had the same cross necklace though given by different people. ^-^ She would even vow not to marry just for him. Well, for now...hehehe Let’s just see. The guy is still clueless that the girl likes him for he treats her as his best friend.

I had just seen the first episode of Poor Prince. In the opening credits, I was happy that they put in the Japanese names in so I more or less know who is who but it seemed that they used the Chinese names in the dub. Taro’s mom looked a bit too young. Okay, actually, I had seen her before and I think she is about the same age or maybe a few years older than Shan Chai of Meteor Garden. The friend looked okay though I like the manga version. ^_~ The lead girl isn’t as cute as in the manga. I wonder if the one with huge muscles would be the rival who would have homosexual tendencies later on. Bwahaha...that would be interesting. The first episode is way, way too short so I think they just snipped a lot of things to extend it. What just happened was they met and she followed him since she wanted to find the rich guy who would rescue her from poverty. Just imagine her face when she learned that he was much poorer that she was. Hehehe Okay, let’s give this drama more time.

There will be a new Taiwanese drama on this channel. At first, I thought it was Korean since the girl looked one but the guy, not much so I searched on it to be sure. It is about a young boy who gave a girl a bottle of Lavender as a promise to return and meet her again after 10 years. After the said time, he returned as a famous singer. Ya, the actor, Ambrose Hsu is also a singer. It is another drama to promote a singer. ^^; Anyway, since the guy was supposedly acclaimed for his work here so let’s just say he had some acting talent. Of course, they have their corresponding lovers, one likes the girl and another is also a singer who likes the guy. It seemed to be a bit on angst since the lead guy had a past according to a site. While searching on this, it seemed that there is also a movie of the same title. It isn’t the same and it starred Kelly Chan and Takeshi Kaneshiro.

Hai..it is getting late already.
