About this blog:
I usually write about the manga that I'm currently reading. At times, I write about the anime I watched. Since it is hard to share and talk my thoughts about a certain manga series when people don't know about it, I tend to summarize them from Chinese scanlations so beware, this blog is filled with spoilers and they are not 100% perfect. I'm partly doing this to improve my Chinese. ^^ Feel free to point out my mistakes. ^^ Occasionally, I would blog about myself and other misc. things.

Skip Beat! [Chapter 170] Teaser + The One [Chapter 73]

Once again, this Skip Beat! 170 teaser might be inaccurate since I’m just translating based on a Chinese translation from baidu and it is somewhat confusing. It starts regarding Valentine’s mission. A long, long time ago, God made a box wherein there is a lock on top of another lock as if no one can open. Even so, it is located deep within one’s heart. Then, it got all confusing. It seems Lory wants to celebrate something probably ending of Dark Moon which is refused by Sawara. At the office, Kanae meets up with Kyouko to ask her why she looks downcast. Kyouko perks up upon seeing her. It seems Kyouko is having a problem regarding not being able to find a certain suitable reason? I’m guessing that it is probably why she is happy when Ren is holding the Rosa necklace. He tells her that it is already giving him courage. There is a mention of the last few locks being courage so I’m assuming that the last few locks in her box is the courage to speak up to Ren and encourage him to that effect. It seems that Kyouko has heard a sound that she hates..it is the second time that certain lock in her box that has opened. She then recalls the past in high/junior high when Sou put a leaf on her head. This made her blush and smile. So, as a whole, that lock is about opening the box of falling in love again. They are talking about enlightenment so Kyouko probably begins to realize her romantic feelings for Ren and it seems she is troubled by it.
BW’s whitesunnie apologizes for the The One 73 being late since she has been busy and she thought that someone else would upload it. Ah, I’ll be writing this on my own words since I’m just lazy to read this thoroughly especially because the English scanlation will be out a few days later. ^^; The chapter starts with Lele falling but she manages to touch the floor with both hands and the other leg up high. Everyone is shock by that ridiculous pose. In full fighting mode, Lele promptly stands up properly and wows everyone with her outstanding strut on the stage. The designer is totally moved in tears by Lele’s walk that he exclaims that she is ‘The One’. Half a year pass and Lele’s star really shine. A Taiwanese model has taken Paris by storm overnight and in half a year, she is the brightest star of the fashion world. Soon, Lele goes back to New York and meets with Nick. I don’t like her new hairstyle but it did make her look older. Nick shows her the pictures she has taken. It seems that her debut is tearing open the ‘wall’ and coming out just like her ‘accident’. Nick heaps praises on her then mentions about being so busy yet so lonely. Leo appears and is angry at her over the short and few emails she wrote him. Lele cries and hugs him. She apologizes for it since she is really overworked and only sleeps less than 5 hours so she fears that upon hearing his voice, she won’t be able to endure it to the point she’ll break down and complain. She also fears that if she talks with him.. Leo realizes that it might bring up the topic of Eros. While Nick muses that those two’s relationship is really good, Leo tells her not to cry and mentions about her fans. To her shock, Lele has 600,000 fans in Facebook and a lot of Taiwanese models look up to her. The one who set up the FB account is someone from Taiwan named Xiao Hong. [Xiao = small or –chan in Japanese] Of course, it is her aunt, along with Lou Shang, who is working on Lele’s fanpage.
Watching a fashion show, Ulysses tells Angus that his disappearance is still talked about until now. He asks Angus if he misses the stage. Angus says that he believes that he can get on stage whenever he wants to but it is necessary for him to get his brother back home in whole. Angus asks him about the plan and expresses his impatience. Ulysses tells him that they will do it soon for the election is coming and they will strike him down at that opportune time. Ulysses comments that Angus plan is too crazy and is he sure about it. Angus doesn’t care as long as they can destroy his father. Elsewhere, Eros is having sex with Madame Mode. Mode tells Eros that she cannot get enough of him that seeing him once a week isn’t enough. He tells her not to say that for he knows that in her heart, he is always number 2 so he doesn’t want to have high expectations. Mode calls him stupid for he is in a different place in her heart. She hugs him and thanks him for making her feel as a woman worthy to be loved. She tells him of her desire to abandon everything and only be with him. Eros asks if she is serious. Mode says ya. To her surprise, Eros proposes that they elope. That’s it. So, after somewhat dragging things on showing us the ugly side of the rich and famous, the author hits the fast forward button and Lele is now famous. With a new hairstyle, it means a new arc..a new stage of Lele’s life. At first, her new hairstyle got me thinking..who is she..Feidna? Hm..speaking of her, where is she? Eased out of the story? It seems that instead of having problems with Feidna, it will be with Mode. ^^;; Even if Mode is disgusting and everything before, she is just a lonely woman and somehow I feel sorry for the woman that she will end up being used by Eros. I guess she will be pretty much the characterization of a woman who may be rich and everything but will never be truly loved, which is partly her own doing. What Eros seems to be plotting is dangerous and I guess Angus’ plan ought to be equally dangerous. Hopefully, they can live with whatever consequences that it brings about, if there are, and they don’t drag Lele in their mess. A scandal for an upcoming famous model can be disastrous.

[Free Talk: To those who celebrate it, Happy Chinese New Year! Just want to mention that I’m using a CAPTCHA on the tagboard..probably temporarily, with the hopes that it will deter that ad which is spamming almost everyday. I’m thinking it is a bot and I’m beginning to lose hope that I can make them use up all their computers with all the banning. ^^; I would have done it sooner but I’m thinking that it will discourage people from tagging. Abe puts his arm around Yukito and tells him that there is no need to be shy. Yukito exclaims that he isn’t being shy. Abe smiles and tells him that in accordance to their agreement, he will listen from head to tail about what happened in detail. “Afterwards? What was it? What was the situation like, and how it led to that point? Come on, tell me.” Yukito looks tense as he cannot quite say it. Abe theorizes that it is Yukito who brought up the issue because it seems that Kotori is quite shy so it ought to be Yukito who took the initiative. Yukito is quite aghast as Abe continues to say that Yukito is quite manly to do that fierce attack. A bit tense, Yukito goes along with that story and says that it is like that, more or less, since Kotori is easily embarrassed that he.. Yukito freeze when Abe calls out to Kotori who is also walking at the hallway. Abe tells Kotori that it is great that things progressed smoothly. Kotori timidly thanks Abe about what happened before. Kotori is puzzled when Abe says that he is relieved that ‘in all aspects’ everything went smoothly. Before Kotori can ask about it, blushing Yukito butts in by exclaims if Kotori has work today. Kotori says yes. Yukito asks what time. Kotori says at 5pm. Abe seems speechless at first. He then tells Kotori, “Kaji.. Gambatte, in all aspects!” Kotori just says, yes and thank you. During lunch break, at their usual hangout, Kotori asks Yukito that doesn’t it make one really happy that everyone supports them. Thinking that it isn’t originally about that [<- referring to Abe?], Yukito says, ya. Kotori says that they shouldn’t make the others too worried about them. Yukito agrees with this. Then, flustered Kotori asks Yukito if afterwards, they can go to school together again and if they are going to work, can they go together for it will definitely be fun. Yukito blushes and says yes, of course. Yukito suddenly remembers something. He tells her that because he has many other jobs, there might be times when they cannot go together. Kotori says that she didn’t know but is he working many jobs again. Yukito timidly says yes.
Kotori asks what he wants to buy. Yukito admits that he wants to buy something and it is very important for him. Kotori just says, okay. Yukito tells her not to misunderstand for it isn’t some weird thing but rather, it has something to do with her. “Motorcycle, I want to quickly buy a motorcycle. I want to quickly have my own motorcycle so that we can go ride it for a date.” Kotori blushes over this. Yukito tells her that in the end, his brother won’t lend him his motorcycle. Kotori is a bit embarrassed as she mentally apologizes to Yukito for the reason why she is working is to buy the latest Doki Memo game. Yukito is thinking that he wants to quickly have his own motorcycle, and then they will go to a faraway place for a date. First, they will do some kissing then.. there will be more feeling between them and afterwards.. Yukito goes into a blushing shock when he suddenly remembers smiling Abe saying, “So, you finally entered the adult stage ♡ Up to what stage have you progressed?” Kotori notices Yukito’s expression that she calls out to him. Yukito looks at her. Kotori sweetly smiles and asks what it is. Yukito blushes again and suddenly hugs Kotori. Kotori is surprised that she asks why, so sudden. Yukito turns her face around, to face him. The two blush. Yukito hugs her again. Yukito thinks again [<- long monologue =P], “How soft. I want to touch..her more. But, can I do it up to that part? Will she allow me to touch her to that part? If the mood is really good, then I can continue, right? What will she think of it.. My mind is only thinking that this kind of me can [make her] really detest me.. Won’t she find me disgusting? Darn, it’s all because of the strange thing that Abe mentioned, that I’ve made me feel become more weird- Ah, I’m originally weird already.” Yukito hugs puzzled Kotori tighter while he wrestles with those thoughts. He is surprised when Kotori hugs him back. He quickly pulls away from the embrace and apologizes to her. Covering his face, blushing Yukito apologizes for suddenly doing that strange thing. To his surprise, Kotori holds his shirt then sticks close to him. The two Kaji-s blush.
Ah, it’s a short one but it is better than nothing. ^^ For those who still do not know, the author of this series is having some health issues. She plans to do shorter chapters since the doctor told her to rest a lot. Ah, those two are so cute and Yukito’s long-winding monologues are always amusing. Abe gives him an idea and it pretty much stuck on his brain. I guess Yukito goes along with Abe is saying for his manly pride. I wonder if Abe guessed that nothing happened based on their expressions. Those two Kaji-s can easily be read based on their expressions and actions. Hm..I think Yukito will be fighting over this urge, later on but hopefully, it won’t cause some major misunderstanding between the two. Meanwhile, Seishin looks gloomy and wonders out to his sister what he should do. A guy has fallen on the floor and shouts at Reishou as to what he is doing. Reishou says that he isn’t doing anything for didn’t he fall down because he is drunk. Smiling, Reishou smiles and tells the guy not to mess with the waitress and just go home early to sleep. The guy, together with his companion, angrily shouts at Reishou that he used his foot to trip him. While Reishou is slyly smiling at the guy, Seishin is looking really tense since Yuulin told him not to cause trouble. Just then, Gaku, together with two of his men, enter the place and asks what’s going on since it is quite noisy. The man is about to tell Gaku that he’s meddlesome when his companion tells him that it is Gaku. They quickly retreat away. Reishou muses out loud that Gaku’s face is really menacing [<- infamous] that those guys fled. Gaku says that because of the change of dynasty [/ruler] in the country, there is an increase in the population of the capital city but it is quite troublesome since there is also an increase of idiots who have money and power. While saying that, Gaku glares at Reishou. Reishou just smiles and agrees by saying that the society is not quite stable. Gaku asks Seishin if in the end, Reishou is staying at their house. While Reishou sits back to his chair, Seishin nervously says yes. Gaku tells Reishou that if he is finished with his business, he should hurriedly scram already. “If you need, I can introduce you to some inn where you can stay.” To Gaku’s irritation, Reishou replies that ya but he doesn’t want to miss the opportunity of eating Yuulin’s homemade food. Gaku darkly sits on a chair and tells Reishou that he doesn’t care whether he is a government official but if he is looking for girls, he should use his own ways [within his territory to find them.] like those girls who have lots of money and has a status. “Why don’t you go waste your time with those kinds of girls?” Reishou laughs and asks if Gaku is trying to convince him then it shouldn’t be necessary to say bad things about Yuulin. To Reishou’s surprise, Gaku shouts that he has always been telling the truth. “For now, I’ll only give you an advice. I’m saying that you and that girl aren’t compatible. I can thoroughly tell you things that will make you think that I’m right.” Reishou just looks serious. Later on, Seishin goes to the other restaurant to ask if her sister is there. Yuulin asks him what the matter is. Seishin tells her not to ask and just quickly follow him. Sensing that there is a big trouble, Yuulin apologizes [for abruptly leaving] and bids her friend goodbye. While walking, Seishin tells her that there is a dispute between Reishou and Gaku that he couldn’t just stay and watch them. Yuulin thinks what’s up with that stupid loan shark and even if Reishou is in plain clothes, he isn’t someone whom a ruffian can just trifle with. She laments that she shouldn’t have left Reishou alone in the first place.
At the restaurant, Yuulin overhears Gaku telling Reishou that she is so simple-minded that it is totally unbelievable. Reishou says is that so. Yuulin thinks that they are still in the middle of their conversation. With folded arms and still looking dark, Gaku tells Reishou that from then on, more than half of the everyday conversation revolves around eating three meals a day and the younger brother’s studies as if she is some housewife who is bring up a kid. “She always loudly screams as she goes outside.” Reishou comments that he knows about that. Yuulin wonders who they are criticizing non-stop. To her horror, she realizes that they were talking about her and why would they.. Gaku also tells Reishou that Yuulin would even go to the school to check on her brother and when she is young, she is just so talkative. In sheer desperation to convince Reishou, Gaku exclaims, “And, every time she gets angry, she has this really weird expression!” Reishou perks up and happily says that yes, and that [expression] is so cute. Gaku angrily shouts why [his reaction] is like that. The guys sweatdrop when Yuulin finally has had enough that she shouts what is the meaning of this. While Yuulin keeps on angrily shouting at the two guys as to what they are doing and what this is all about, Seishin tries to calm his sister for she will distrupt the restaurant. Before Gaku leaves with his men, he shouts that he really cannot talk things through with Reishou since his taste is really weird..what’s cute about Yuulin’s face. Yuulin angrily shouts for him to shut up. “Ki Gaku, if you are rude again to my guest, I’ll really be angry.” While walking away, Gaku’s underling comments that Yuulin seems to be quite lively. Gaku tells him to find someone who knows about Yuulin’s work and ask in detail about her [working] situation. His underling says yes. Gaku thinks that something is fishy about Reishou and doesn’t think that he is just an ordinary government official. While walking, Yuulin is still furious and disappointed that while she is gone, they are saying bad things about her. Reishou says that he wasn’t, for he was praising her. Yuulin angrily tells him not to say anymore because she knows how he normally sees/views her. Yuulin is blushing really red that stupid Reishou said that her expression is cute. [I cannot quite read it but it seems that Seishin is walking apart from them since it feels awkward if he is with them.] Reishou says that Gaku guy is quite fun for he told him a lot of things about Yuulin. Yuulin angrily shouts for Reishou to forget all of it. Reishou then muses to himself that the feelings of those two childhood friends are quite good.
While Yuulin is flustered about not wanting this to happen again wherein she is made fun of, Reishou takes off his glasses. He holds her arm to him and calls her name. In wolf mode, Reishou says, “Yuulin, let’s not do things by our own, I’m not satisfied without you. I want to understand you more, ..I want to chat with you more.” Yuulin blushes really red and exclaims, what. Seishin turns around and tells his sister to hurry for it is going to be dark soon. Freaking out, Yuulin shouts that they will be going immediately. Yuulin looks at Reishou who is smiling -> back to puppy mode. Pointing toward Seishin, Reishou tells her that they should go. Yuulin cannot believe that it happened again. She shouts for him to please let her rest during her vacation. Reishou is puzzled and asks that wasn’t she resting. Yuulin exclaims that he doesn’t understand. Looking tense at Reishou, Yuulin tells herself that she would absolutely not be deceived by a bad guy. Still blushing, she thinks that Reishou is just teasing her and he is having fun while doing that, so she shouldn’t take it seriously. Elsewhere, some guys are talking about doing it on their own initiative and there is no choice for it is all for Yuulin’s sake. And, the so-called vacation pass by swiftly that it is finally, the last day so it will be soon time to part from her family and friends. While preparing to cook, Yuulin tells Seishin that they absolutely have to go back to work today. Seishin comments that work must be quite hard. Yuulin darkly laughs that in the end, her father didn’t show up at all and made her luck, in advance paying off the debt, slip away. Seishin says that it is because their father knew how angry Yuulin is that he doesn’t have the courage to come back. Seishin tells his sister that he will talk with their father so she doesn’t have to worry too much. Touched by how nice her brother is, Yuulin waves the cleaver around and tells him good work and really sorry [for the mess], she will once again work hard. Seishin tells her sister to be careful with the cleaver. While walking to the courtyard, Yuulin tries to talk herself into getting excited over going back to work since most of her salary goes to paying for Seishin’s tuition fees [and expenses] while half of it goes to paying her debts. She thinks that before that, she has to get Reishou back to the palace. She imagines that Reishou’s anticipated reaction would be giving her a puppy-eyed look and telling her that he doesn’t want to go back especially since he is quite happy throughout the vacation.
Then, she sees Reishou talking with someone. She is startled since he is in wolf mode. Reishou tells the hooded guy to entrust that matter to the prime minister and before he returns, they are to prepare for him a report on public security. [<- I think this is from what Gaku mentioned about there being a lot of troublemakers lately.] Reishou stops talking when he notices Yuulin looking surprised at him. He dismisses the person. After the person left, Yuulin goes to Reishou and asks him if that person was.. Reishou tells her that it is an envoy sent by Jun. He apologizes for letting the envoy inside her house [without permission]. Reishou sighs since he was told that there are urgent matters to attend and he was repeatedly told to absolutely go back. He wonders out loud as to how Jun knew that he doesn’t want to go back. Yuulin thinks that no wonder it’s Jun. Chibi Jun says that of course, he knows. Yuulin is still recovering from her surprise of seeing wolf mode Reishou there because that cold atmosphere he emitted isn’t suitable to this place and going back to the palace would mean living with the ‘Wolf king’ again. Reishou happily smiles and asks if the lunch she made is already done. Meanwhile, some guys talk about doing things according to the battle plan. Later on, Reishou asks Seishin where Yuulin is. Seishin says that it seems that Yuulin hurriedly went out saying something about buying something. Reishou is just quiet when Seishin wonders out loud if his sister forgot something. Elsewhere, Gaku’s underling asks Gaku to come with him for a while since it is regarding Yuulin. Gaku asks if it is about the report where Yuulin works. The underling timidly says that it isn’t and they asked for help regarding the investigation but..it seems they did something on their own. Gaku looks a bit puzzled.
In some place, Yuulin and Gaku look stunned or rather irritated at each other. Gaku shouts at his underling as to why they brought the person herself there. Yuulin screams where the big discount sale of carrots is. Gaku feels faint. Yuulin shouts at Gaku’s underlings, whom she closely knows, as to what they are planning when she just wanted to add one more dish for lunch. While Yuuling is angrily staring at them, one of the underlings say that it is because they learned that Yuulin is going back [to the palace] today and the things [that needs to be] talk about cannot be said anymore especially since she won’t come [willingly]. The underling tells Gaku that this is the right time to be determined and say it or else, Yuulin will be snatched away by some rich guy. “We think that what the two of you lack is only some quiet time to talk things out with each other.” The two angrily shout, “What the heck are you talking about!” Back to Yuulin’s place, Reishou doesn’t want to wait anymore and he decides to go out and look for Yuulin. Seishin offers to also do that but Reishou smiles at him in wolf mode and tells him that there is no need for he alone will suffice. “Just look after the house.” Seishin trembles upon seeing Reishou like that. He is puzzled over his own reaction since Reishou is smiling yet it is scary. Back to Gaku’s place, the underling explains that it is because Gaku is always concerned about Yuulin ever since before and their temper is quite compatible together every time so everyone.. The two are shock by what he is saying that they gang up on the underling. Gaku angrily shout at him to stop talking such foolish things for he is just looking after Yuulin because she is a stupid fool. Yuulin angrily shouts for the underling to quit joking around for how can she be compatible with that loan shark. Yuulin wants the underling to take back what he said. The underlings are aghast for those two’s temperament are really the same.
Gaku angrily explains that it is the same this time, Yuulin is infatuated with some guy of unknown origin, that is why he cannot sit still. Yuulin angrily shouts at him that she didn’t ask him to do that and she isn’t infatuated. Flustered, Yuulin tells him that regarding that man [Reishou], do not just jump into conclusions and say all sorts of things. Gaku looks at her and tells Yuulin, “—hey, listen up. A nobleman will not seriously think of commoner girls as their partners, okay? You [ought to] wake up a bit.” While Yuulin is thinking ‘what’ and remembering Reishou, Gaku continues to say, “Geez, why is it like that--” Then Yuulin mutters, “—I, too. *shouting* I myself, also know that I’m being played around!!” This shocks Gaku and his underlings. Flustered, and teary-eyed, Yuulin thinks that Reishou must find it interesting to tease and play around with her like telling her that her strange face is cute, and even if she thinks of it for a while, it just doesn’t make sense. Aghast Gaku asks if Yuulin is serious and she should go against it. “~~~even if you knew, then quickly break up! You fool!” Yuulin angrily shouts, “It is none of your business.” The underlings sweatdrop for it seems like it is a real quarrel. Yuulin thinks that even if it’s [being with Reishou] so near yet it seems so far..but still.. Yuulin angrily shouts that is what she has to say and she is leaving so open the doors. While Gaku shouts that they aren’t finished talking, Yuulin opens the door and heads out. She thinks that but still, it is already late and Reishou will definitely be waiting for her. While Gaku is chasing after her, Yuulin sees Reishou at the courtyard as he is dragging a guy against his will. Reishou smiles and says that it’s great to be able to meet with her there. Yuulin goes into shock. While Gaku is also looking shock, she is about to say His Majesty but she stops and just shouts what he is doing there. Reishou innocently says that of course, he has been looking for her. He asks around the people nearby and learns that she went with Gaku’s underling. Then, he sees a young man who seems to know the place so he asked him [nicely] to bring him to that place. The trembling underling apologizes to Gaku. Aghast Gaku exclaims that Reishou had fiercely threatened the man and let him go. Reishou lets the guy go and thanks him for showing him the way. While Yuulin is still freaking out, Reishou smiles and asks Gaku to please return Yuulin to him. Gaku thinks that Reishou is really suspicious. He shouts that Yuulin is going to resign from working at Reishou’s place and he can just go back alone. Yuulin is shock by what Gaku said that she shouts for him not to just say things as he pleases. Gaku tells her to shut up.
Looking somewhat sad, Reishou asks Yuulin if this is true. Yuulin is freaking out over Reishou’s sad reaction. She shouts, “No! Don’t believe him! Actually, if I resign from this job, then I won’t be able to pay my debt!” Yuulin is shock by what she just blurted out. Gaku is in a daze for not only Yuulin is being played around, she also owes Reishou. This time, it is Reishou who is in a daze. Gaku shouts at Yuulin as to how much of this is she doing involuntary. Gaku offers to pay off Yuulin’s debt. Yuulin shouts that he is too noisy. Gaku shouts that he won’t let her owe money from Reishou. Yuulin shouts for him to quit being stubborn. Grabbing Yuulin’s wrist, Gaku calls Reishou as a lowest of low scoundrel and Yuulin is already his territory’s underling. He tells Yuulin[?] not to be willful. Trying to free herself from him, Yuulin shouts that he is the one who’s willful for making her his underling. Reishou sadly laments that their relationship is really good. Yuulin shouts that it isn’t so. Yuulin is surprised when Reishou smiles and says that her important family member, always worrying [about her] childhood friend, and lots of friends within the commoners’ district are Yuulin’s place to stay. Taking off his cape, Reishou says, “But, I’m sorry. *throws cape at Gaku* Come, Yuulin.” Yuulin reaches out her hand to Reishou who takes her hand and carries her. Reishou says, “Sorry, I don’t want to leave her behind.” Gaku’s underlings shout for Reishou to stop and release Yuulin. While carrying Yuulin, Reishou evades their attacks easily that he is even whistling. Gaku shouts for his men to stop for it will put Yuulin in danger. As Reishou carries Yuulin off, Yuulin shouts, “Ki Gaku! Whether it is work or paying debts, even if it is not on my free will, but I will properly do it since that is my own decision. So, do not because of some strange worry that you’ll come and hinder me. Idiot.” Gaku is irritated as he says that she is the one who’s an idiot.
Later on, exhausted Yuulin apologizes to Reishou that until the last day, it is like that. Reishou happily asks if she had fun chattering/quarrelling with everyone. Yuulin just sweatdrops. He asks, “—Yuulin, you had fun on your vacation to the point that you don’t want to return to the palace, right?” Yuulin looks at him and says what he is saying for after properly resting, she should properly go to work. She thinks, “Even if I have a lot of important people here in the city but leaving this guy without a care, that is something that I cannot do.” Yuulin tells him that they should hurry back. Reishou smiles at her and says yes. Soon, Yuulin bids her younger brother goodbye and tells him to do his best with his studies. So, like that the busy yet chaotic vacation time ends and return to the daily life that makes one to want to reminiscence. Speechless Reishou frowns when Jun darkly welcomes him back. Jun says that it seems that his heart has broken into pieces as he passed the days longing to see Reishou back. Darkly smiling, Jun tells Reishou that during this time, Reishou is to take that emotion within him while writing the letters. Reishou and Yuulin are speechless and sweatdrop over the piles of scroll that Reishou has to do on the table. Looking bored, Reishou holds a scroll and says that after enjoy one’s vacation, he ought to work hard. Jun is surprised by what he said. Reishou looks at Yuulin and smiles. He tells her, “-Now in the palace, I can pretty much monopolize the Princess.” Yuulin blushes really red over this and thinks that this guy is really.. Narration: Just like before, it has started again, the days with His Majesty, when I couldn’t be at ease.” Back at home, Gaku is sharing a drink [tea] with Seishin. Gaku angrily complains that he absolutely doesn’t acknowledge that guy [Reishou]. He asks Seishin when Yuulin is coming back. Seishin just nervously smiles yet he couldn’t answer Gaku [since he doesn’t know]. Seishin thinks that Gaku is becoming more and more like a ‘father’.
And, that ends the vacation trip. I think the last part is the author’s way of showing that Gaku isn’t a love rival. =P I think Gaku is a fun character and I think Reishou is somewhat jealous of him especially on how those they interacted with each other even if it is mostly just quarreling with each other. Hm..somehow I wonder if partly the reason why Reishou went with her is to make sure she comes back to the palace. ^^; I feel sorry for Reishou since Yuulin really thinks that he is just fooling around and because of what the others are saying, it makes her really think Reishou’s advances is all just an act. ^^;; Anyway, it is back to work for him and I’m sure Jun is going to make things hard for him since Jun is a slave-driver. =P Scans by Fema and 狼陛下汉化组.

Ritsu quickly grabs her hand and takes her out by force, with the excuse that Towako was asking earlier as to where the toilet is. Everyone is surprised while Hana and Yona comment about it being their first time seeing a person who lost one’s memory. Reimi is still gaga over Ritsu. Yuuga and Saho are just quiet about it all. While wondering how things ended up like this, Towako tells Ritsu that she doesn’t want to go to the toilet. She is scared when Ritsu glares at her. He tells her that he cannot be exposed right now and it wasn’t easy for things to progress to what it is until now. Towako is tense for he is really such a scary guy. Shaking in fear, Towako asks why he did that, if Saho knows and if he really lost his memories. Ritsu bluntly tells her that of course, it is a lie. Looking sly, Ritsu asks if Towako wants to know why, it’s because he wants to experience what it is like to be rich and he ought to thank Saho since she was easily fooled. He muses that ojousamas don’t have the feeling of being in danger. Ritsu holds Towako’s hand and says, “You are also rich, right, Gokurakuin Towako? How about it? Do you want to look after me?” Towako pulls her hand away from him and shouts what he is talking about when she already has a husband and she would absolutely not do such a foolish thing. She starts to walk away and tells him that she is going to tell Saho. Ritsu grabs her and asks if Towako actually thinks he is going to let her do that. To her shock, Ritsu suddenly kisses her. Towako quickly bites him. Angry, Ritsu says that she really puts him in a bad mood for biting him when he just kissed her and she would unexpectedly cry [afterwards]. While flustered Towako is holding her lips, Ritsu asks if she will be troubled if she kissed some other guy aside from her husband and wasn’t he among those others, who came. Towako fears that Yuuga will get angry and would hate her if he knows about this. Ritsu says that if she doesn’t want her husband to know, she is to listen to whatever he says. Wiping her tears, Towako sternly tells him that even if he looks really handsome, he can only use this kind of method to attract/seduce a person’s heart. “You’re really pitiful and disgraceful.” Ritsu just looks at her and says that it seems that it will be very interesting for him to bully her. Towako thinks that this is a nightmare. They return to the others. Towako is looking quite timid and happy Ritsu tells them that they just had a little chat. To Towako’s horror, Ritsu holds her hand and says that he really likes this girl. Towako tries to pull away from him but she remembers of his threat that she couldn’t resist him. Reimi says that about Ritsu might like her but.., they all look at displeased Yuuga. Ritsu whispers to tense Towako if that is her husband. To her dismay, Yuuga turns around and tells her to do whatever she wants. Towako tries to call him but Ritsu tighten his grip on Towako’s hand. While walking away, Yuuga wonders what’s up with Towako who has been avoiding him lately yet even if she is rejecting him, she would [do that] with some other guy.
In the girls’ room, Reimi is scolding Towako who is quite sad over how things turned out when she just wants to get along with Yuuga and everyone else. Ritsu is talking on the phone again. “Ah, what happened? Okay, I’ll leave that family to you. That is your forte. Don’t talk about that first! There is also one here at my side. Gokurakuin Towako. That’s right- One of the five main families. I didn’t except her to come so it’s really fortunate. Huh? Ya, I really thought so, she’s a very interesting girl. I know, it is already being carried out. For me, to waver other’s feelings [for another] is just a piece of cake. I will definitely make those two [Towako and Yuuga] break up.” Kyousuke laughs and wishes Ritsu a speedy success. He bids Ritsu goodbye and then, he hangs up. Mioko comes in and asks him who he is talking with on the phone. Kyousuke coldly tells her that it has nothing to do with her and can she please not to go his room as she pleases. Mioko apologizes and says that it is because they were mutually very happy that she would want to consult him about the wedding ceremony. Kyousuke tells her that her family ought to be able to decide on them by themselves and it is okay to do it however she wants. Holding a book, Mioko tells him that she still needs to know what kind of kimono he would want to wear. Mioko got scared when Kyousuke looks at her darkly. He then breaks into a smile and says that is true. He apologizes and tells her that he’ll leave everything to them. Holding her close to him, Kyousuke tells her that it is because he is busy lately. Flustered Mioko asks him if he will stay by her side forever. Kyousuke says, of course. Meanwhile, everyone is enjoying the barbecue except for Towako is sitting on a blanket, away from everyone else. Towako is really gloomy for this is her first barbecue party but the one beside her is..this dual-personality sly devil. Holding a bowl of barbecued meat, sparkling Ritsu says that is her food. After a long pause, Towako thanks him. Still sparkling, Ristu tells her to eat all of it. Towako can only look at Yuuga with the others as she hopes to go to their side but Yuuga hasn’t talk with her until now. Ritsu notices this, that he whispers to Towako that her husband is so cold that it doesn’t matter to him that she is with some other guy. While Towako exclaims that how dare he say that, Ritsu tries to feed her with some of the meat. He threatens to tell Yuuga about the kiss so Towako lets herself be fed. Angry Reimi points at the two and exclaims to Yuuga if that is alright with him. Yuuga just looks irritated but says that Towako must have thought that it is okay, so she is doing that. Yuuga turns away and leaves Reimi furious at Towako. Cling on to Yona, Hana says that Yuuga is amazing for if Yona sees her being romantic with some other guy, he will definitely not forgive her. Yona muses that Hana is a mind reader.
When Towako is aghast that Ritsu asks her to feed him in return, Reimi sits beside Towako and sweetly asks if she can stay there. She then looks dark at Towako and probably mentally tells her what the heck she is doing, being lovey-dovey with some other guy, and isn’t Yuuga too pitiful. Towako freaks out and wonders if Reimi also has a dual personality. Reimi tells Ritsu that it is regretful since Towako already has a boyfriend..over there. Ritsu acts surprised over this that he apologizes for going over the top. Towako cannot believe he said that, since Ritsu is making it appear as if she didn’t tell him about her and Yuuga’s relationship. The girls were surprised when Ritsu sighs and laments them that Saho has already rejected him. He says that she is really a nice girl but too bad, she already likes someone else. Reimi is surprised by this for she hasn’t heard from Saho about this. Saho used to tell always tell her before. Ritsu says that if Saho didn’t tell them then it means that it is someone whom Saho couldn’t tell both of them. The girls begin to wonder who it is. Just then, Saho returns to the others to bring more meat for the barbecue. The two girls immediately wonder if the one Saho likes is Yuuga. They still cannot believe it when they were interrupted by Saho who asks if they aren’t going to eat. To Towako’s surprise, Reimi tells Towako that if it is true, she is going to support Saho since not only Saho is her best friend, Saho would also absolutely treasure the person she likes. After Reimi angrily leaves, Towako becomes depressed. Ritsu asks if she is alright. Towako mutters as to whose fault it is. Ritsu says that high school girls can be quite amazing and even if he is a liar, what he said just now is true, for Saho really likes that guy. Flustered Towako thinks that even if it is like that, her feelings won’t falter and she won’t give Yuuga away to anyone else. Thinking over Reimi’s parting shot at her, Towako thinks that even if she also treasures Yuuga, but right now, what is she doing. Towako tells Ritsu that she has decided to tell everything to Yuuga and Yuuga would definitely understand her, and she won’t listen to him [Ritsu] again. Ritsu smiles and says that she cannot be sure about that. Towako thinks that she should have done this from the start.
After lunch, the others are deciding to play some game. Thinking that Yuuga will believe her just like what happened before with Kaoru, Towako looks around to find Yuuga. She sees him in the porch with Saho. On instinct, Towako hides at the corner and eavesdrops on them. Saho is apologizing to Yuuga regarding Ritsu. Yuuga says that it isn’t her fault and he thinks that there is a reason for Towako to be doing that. This made Towako blush really red. Saho tells Yuuga that he is very kind when he used to be very cold with his ex-girlfriends. Yuuga sweatdrops and asks if it is really true since everyone is saying that. Saho asks Yuuga what he likes about Towako. To Towako’s shock, Yuuga says that Towako easily gets angry. Saho asks him if that is a good point. Yuuga tells Saho that Towako is always honest who’ll sincerely smile and sincerely gets angry. If she hates something, she will tell you so. Towako wonders if that isn’t normal. Saho agrees with him. Yuuga continues to say that he will believe everything that Towako tells him. This made Towako become determined to tell him everything. Saho sadly says that she is so envious for she also wants others to regard of her that way. She laments that if only she is sincere, cute and has no apprehensions then [that person] would perhaps also like her. Thinking that she is referring to Yuuga, Towako quickly goes out and calls out Yuuga’s name. Yuuga asks why she is shouting. Not wanting to see Saho, flustered Towako tells him that there is something she has to tell him so she wants Saho to leave first. Towako is surprised by what she just said. Yuuga asks her why she said that but Saho tells Yuuga it is okay, she’ll leave the two of them alone. Yuuga tells her that she is acting weird today and did something happen. Towako says that is why, she has something to tell him. She wonders if she can say it in this situation but she doesn’t want someone else to tell Yuuga. Then, Ritsu appears and asks if they were fighting. Towako is shock to see him that she asks why he is there. Ritsu says that it is because he is worried for they were fighting because of him. Yuuga asks what he meant by that. While Towako tries to stop Ritsu, Ritsu apologizes to Yuuga and tells him that he kissed Towako. Yuuga looks stunned.
Towako wonders what to do and how to explain that she was coerced but Ritsu asks if Towako hasn’t told Yuuga about it yet. Ritsu apologizes to Towako saying that he thought when she is saying not to tell, she has already told Yuuga. Ritsu comments that it seems that he should kept it a secret at first. Towako cannot believe this for she really wanted to tell Yuuga [but now it seems that she doesn’t plan to.] Yuuga darkly asks if that is true. Towako tries to explain but he just repeats his question. Ritsu smiles when Towako apologizes to Yuuga. Yuuga angrily grabs Ritsu’s collar that Saho shouts for him to stop. Yuuga shouts that he doesn’t know what Ritsu’s goal is but he won’t allow him to get close to Towako again. Yuuga is surprised when Ritsu says what if he says ‘I won’t promise that’. Ritsu takes Yuuga’s hand off him and says that he’s leaving. Saho goes after Ritsu. Inside the house, she asks Ritsu if he is really serious with Towako. Ritsu just says, perhaps. Saho tells him to give it up for those two mutually love each.. She is caught aback when Ritsu stops walking and asks if she always gives up like this. “Always looking for a reason, in order not to be hurt. How could I say this, you obviously just need to stretch out your hand to get it. You’re very envious of the girl.” Saho looks down and there is an image of a man [face covered] holding Towako’s hand. Back to the couple, Yuuga asks Towako why she didn’t tell him. Thinking that he is angry so she should explain things properly, Towako tells him that she plans to tell him but she was being coerced and that person is a bad person for he actually.. Yuuga interrupts her by shouting that doesn’t matter and he never thought that she would be the one who’ll take the initiative. “What I’m angry at is why you didn’t tell me immediately!” Towako timidly confess that she was afraid that he’ll be disappointed with her and he’ll hate her. She thinks that she didn’t consider what the other person would feel if something is hidden from him. Flustered Yuuga asks if he is unworthy of her trust. While Towako tries to say no, Yasumochi butts in and tells them that they are going to play a game.. Seeing the two, Yasumochi timidly asks if he interrupted them. Yuuga grabs Towako’s hand and says, okay. They head in the den. While they were playing some racing game and Yuuga is losing, Towako thinks that even if Yuuga is beside her, he won’t talk to her nor look at her even once. Ritsu is watching them.
Holding her bag after taking a bath, Towako gloomily thinks that in the end, they weren’t able to properly talk. She plans to apologize properly and explain everything in order to dispute his belief that she doesn’t trust him. She is shock when Ritsu sweetly calls out to her. She’s freaking out and backing away from him. Ritsu comments that it is pains him to see her reacting that way [to him]. Towako exclaims what he wants and what he is planning to do. Ritsu tells her not to be too vigilant for he just wants to apologize to her. Towako doesn’t quite believe him. When Yona and others are passing by, Ritsu quickly takes her to the side and hides behind the house. Towako is sweatdropping as to why they are hiding. Ritsu tells her that it is because it will be trouble if her husband sees them and she doesn’t want him to ask about the kiss. Ritsu apologizes again for what he did was over the top. Towako angrily shouts that he would still say that now, when he has been deliberately doing all those things. Ritsu winks and laughs that he never imagined that things will get so complicated over a kiss. It is because she is so serious [as if her life depended on it] that he cannot endure not to tease her. Then, Towako [lightly?] slaps him on the face. Ritsu asks her that if she is so angry, why she doesn’t go wild a bit over it. Towako tells him that it is her first whether it is to hit someone or being kissed by someone other than Yuuga. “Is this strange?” Ritsu says that she is so pure/innocent that it makes one want to tease her. Towako asks if he hasn’t like/love someone before. Ritsu says no. Towako exclaims that is why his heart is twisted. She suggests that he find that person or something wherein he can be totally engrossed in, so that he can attain rebirth. Ritsu smiles and says, “I haven’t thought about this thing, loving one person. I cannot love anyone and there won’t be someone who’ll sincerely love me, Towako.” Towako thinks that even if he is smiling, he.. Towako tells him that what he said is too sad/lonely. He looks at her and says if she feels that way, so why doesn’t she help him. “ I..can be like this and expose my true self, only with you.” Towako looks flustered and exclaims that he is just reaping what he sowed. Towako thinks that she is a fool for being led by the nose by this guy when it is because of him that things turned very serious.
Suddenly, Towako’s cellphone rings. When Ritsu comments about the ringtone, Towako realizes that she got Yuuga’s cellphone by mistake. [<- while they were sitting at the den beside each other.] Ritsu mutters that it is unbelievable that their cellphone and phone strap are the same. Towako angrily exclaims at him for going back to that vile nature [of his] and tone of voice when it is something that Yuuga gave her. Ritsu takes out his cellphone and asks her to give him her email address. Towako asks why she would tell him. Ritsu tells her to lend the phone to her and he’ll use infra-red to copy it. They didn’t notice that Yuuga who just got out of the bath [<- dripping wet hair with towel on head] has seen them. He clenches his fist as Towako seems to refuse lending the phone to Ritsu. He quickly walks away. At the den, Yuuga’s friends ask him what happened since he hasn’t dried his hair yet and why he came out in a hurry. “Is there something that you lost.” Yuuga angrily pulls the towel from his head and shouts, “I know!” The two guys freeze while Saho worriedly looks at Yuuga. At the hallway, Towako thinks that she wasn’t careful that she ends up talking with Ritsu. She tries to hurry and return the cellphone as well as apologize properly to Yuuga. The cellphone rings again. She notices that it was Saho who sent the message. She tries to wrestle over reading it since if she is Yuuga’s wife, or not read it. She ends up looking and it reads, “Subject: About that issue. I know that you cannot forgive her for kissing with some other guy.. and perhaps you are still thinking of breaking up, but I feel that it would be better if you guys properly talk things out.” Towako becomes tense over this that she tries to calm herself. She wants to confirm it but her feet won’t move. To her shock, Saho appears and tells her that everyone has returned to the den after taking a bath. She couldn’t believe that Saho would be there after she just read that email. Towako knows that she is feeling quite dark within but she fears that she might say cruel things to Saho right now. To Saho’s surprise, Towako just shakes her head and kept on saying, “No!” until she is out of breath. While Ritsu is eavesdropping on them at the corner, Towako exclaims, “Mizuno-chan, I absolutely will not break up with Yuuga! If I have lost Yuuga’s trust, then I’ll just do my best to regain his trust. I absolutely will not give up!” Saho sweatdrops and asks, really.. Towako determinedly exclaims, “Yes! So, I would want to fairly fight with you!” Saho becomes flustered by this that she mutters, ‘what’. Towako thinks that it is necessity for her to sincerely talk things out with Yuuga and not make Saho push her into a corner. After Towako leaves, Ritsu comes out and tells Saho that Towako is such an amazing girl, unlike Saho. Saho tells him that it has nothing to do with her. Before Saho leaves, Ritsu calls out to her. Holding out a cellphone, Ritsu smiles and thanks her for lending her cellphone to him.
Towako goes to the living room where the others are and asks where Yuuga is. They tell her that he probably went to the toilet. Towako is walking at the hallway when she suddenly feels sleepy. It is already 20:59. She struggles not to fall sleep there since it will cause trouble to Yuuga. When it is 21:00, Towako has fallen asleep on the floor. Ritsu looks at her and bends down. He sweatdrops and comments that it seems that it is true that Towako really falls asleep exactly at 9pm. Ritsu says that she is really defenseless. He takes the cellphone and erases the email that he sent using Saho’s cellphone. She then mutters Yuuga’s name. Ritsu remembers her telling Saho that she will do her best to regain Yuuga’s trust and she won’t give up. Ritsu’s expression softens. He asks, “Why?” When he is about to touch her, Yuuga is standing behind and asks what he is doing. Ritsu becomes irritated that he says that Towako suddenly passed out and he was wondering if there is any problem with her. Yuuga tells him that she is only sleeping. While trying to carry Towako, Yuuga tells him that he’ll bring her to the room. Yuuga is surprised when Ritsu says that he heard that they are married. Ritsu says that he heard it from Towako that it is a family rule/tradition which is kind of unbelievable yet Towako is pitiful since she obviously could have other choices. “It is obvious that there are other people who could make Towako happy.” Yuuga asks if Towako said that herself. Ritsu says no, but it seems that Towako is very uneasy and she might be thinking if her life is just really only just like that. [<- pre-determined] Yuuga shouts at him to shut up for it has nothing to do with him and if he wants to pass the time, why don’t he find some other girls. While Yuuga takes Towako away, Ritsu mutters if he had struck a nerve. He sees Towako’s sleeping face then angrily looks away. He wonders what he should do for his plan to work. He notices that Yuuga has left Towako’s bag and in it, the Gokurakuin’s family rules scroll. In the room, Yuuga has put Towako in bed. Yuuga is still in a bad mood over what Ritsu said. Yuuga calls Towako stupid. He pinches her nose and shouts that he told her not to give other guys’ an opportunity [to make a hit on her], not be kissed by someone else, telling others about her family’s rules, and let some guy see her sleeping face. “You definitely think that no matter what you do, I’m going to forgive you, right! Even if it’s me..” Yuuga becomes flustered when he remembers Ritsu telling her that there are other guys who could have made Towako happy. He mutters, “..If I can have more self-confidence, perhaps, I won’t mind this small incident. I would have properly listened to your explanation. I would have been only, just a bit angry, and later on, I would have treated it as if it is nothing. But I..” He leans to her and kisses her. He remembers of a family rule wherein if one gives one’s virginity to the other, they will be together until the end of their lives. Yuuga starts to unbutton Towako’s blouse then kisses her neck. Then, he hears a sound that he stops and looks at the window [that made some sound because of wind or something]. Yuuga looks tense and flustered. He sits on the bed and laments that he doesn’t have self-confidence.

At 5am, Towako wakes up. She sits up and wonders where she is. She finds herself in the girls’ bedroom and the other girls are sound asleep. She remembers that she went to find Yuuga but ends up falling asleep and someone must have brought her there. She wonders why she is always like this. She goes to the kitchen to find Yuuga sitting on the chair. She is surprised then she greets him a good morning. He just says ya. She is quite nervous since only the two of them are there when they usually get along with each other. Thinking that she should explain things, she starts to tell him that there is something she wants to tell him. Towako is shock when Yuuga says that he also has something to tell her. She mutters what it is about but Yuuga tells her to forget it, he’ll tell her after they go home. Thinking that it is about the break up, Towako urges him to say it right now and there is no need to wait until they get home. With his head down, Yuuga says, “I don’t have the confidence to stay by your side from this day onward.” Flustered Towako asks if he wants to break up with her. Yuuga says no but to just let him calm down a bit and he thinks that it would be better if the two of them aren’t together [for some time; basically, he is asking for a ‘cool off’ period]. Shaking and in tears, Towako exclaims what he is saying, and does he mean they cannot be together in all things – what about after school, breakfast, bedroom, golden time, does it include all of that. Yuuga says yes, that isn’t bad. Just when Towako shouts that is too much, Yasumochi goes in to greet them a good morning and ends up apologizing again for interrupting. [^^; Strike 2 =P ] Towako begins to wonder what Yuuga meant by that. Is he becomes weary whenever he’s with her? While fishing yet not pulling up the line when it caught a fish and cooking until the food is burnt, Towako kept on thinking if Yuuga’s illusion about her has been destroyed and is this just an isolated problem but if they are to live each other’s lives separately, won’t their feelings become farther apart. “It is a necessity that I think of a way..” Soon, they are all packing their things. Towako laments that she kept on thinking that they will soon go home already. “What to do, what should I do? Would we go home and live separate lives? I won’t want that--” She looks a bit puzzled over her family rules scroll for she doesn’t recall tying it. She freaks out when Ritsu appears behind her and asks if she is all packed up. Thinking that the other girls had left, Towako exclaims for him not to go near her. Sparkling, Ritsu smiles and asks if they haven’t made up. Towako is shock that she exclaims that he is really vile to be so happy when others aren’t happy. She says that even if Kaoru gives off the same kind of feeling but he has a goal so that makes Kaoru better than Ritsu. Ritsu sweatdrops over this.
Carrying her bags, Towako says, “You should confess everything to Mizuno-chan and later on, be nicer to others. That is what I have to say to you, so goodbye.” Ritsu looks dark that he suddenly grabs her wrist. Towako exclaims in irritation. Ritsu says, “My goal.. is you.” Towako asks him what he is talking about, when they aren’t going to see each other again. Ritsu says that they will. Towako struggles and says that they won’t. It seems that he made her drop her bags. Hugging her, Ritsu says, “Wait until ‘that time’-- I will go and meet [/get] you..” Towako looks tense as Ritsu smiles [in a scary way] and says, “Wait for me.” He lets her go and leaves. Towako wonders what’s up with that stare since it is like a bottomless pit wherein if one falls in, one couldn’t get out of it anymore. She dismisses what he said because she thinks that they won’t meet again. Later on, the others plan to go karaoke since someone had already took their luggage home. Yuuga says that he will be going. Towako thinks that if they go, they will come home late. Towako fears that this won’t do since things might worsen if she let this continue. “I have already missed the opportunity to properly talk with him, and if this continues- I don’t want that! Suddenly losing this person, I absolutely do not want [that to happen]! This isn’t the time to be confused!” Towako holds Yuuga’s arm and tells him to wait. To Yuuga’s surprise, Towako apologizes to everyone for she and Yuuga has somewhere else to go. Towako thinks that there is only one way [to do/resolve this]. Towako exclaims, “I want for the two of us, to be alone!” Yuuga blushes over that. His snickering and blushing friends say that they are embarrassed [upon hearing that] and it is better for them to be alone. They tell Yuuga that they’ll see him at school. While Yuuga tries to tell them not to jump into conclusion, Towako calls Tsubaki to send for the car and prepare ‘Love Night’ at their villa. Yuuga sweatdrops and asks what that ‘Love Night’ is. Towako shouts to the others that she had fun and she wishes them to have a good time. With that, she got reluctant Yuga into the car which speeds away. Everyone is stunned. They were surprised when Ritsu bursts into laughter that it is such a strong move. Yasumochi agrees and thinks that it is because Towako is an ojousama. As they walk away, Ritsu glances back at Towako’s direction.
At the villa, Tsubaki greets Towako and Yuuga. Tsubaki leads them away and tells them that she has prepared everything. Yuuga asks where they are. Towako says that it is their villa. Yuuga sweatdrops and wonders how many are they [villa]. Towako happily says that she’ll go take a bath first and there is a master bathroom there so Yuuga should go and use that. Yuuga tries to protest but he lets it go because he thinks that it will be alright since Tsubaki is there. Towako mentally asks Yuuga to forgive her for even if she thinks that this is below the belt but for their future, she can only use this family rule of offering her virginity so that they will be together until the end. “Tonight, I will offer my virginity to you!” Tsubaki leads Yuuga to a bedroom. Yuuga requests that he have a separate room from Towako, but Tsubaki tells him that there is only one room in that place. Yuuga enters the room and is shock to see that there is only one futon/bed and many other things prepared inside for sex like pitcher of some drink, dim[?] light, mysterious box, books etc. He is surprised when the door behind him is suddenly slammed shut. While frantically trying to open it, Yuuga exclaims why it is close. Tsubaki tells him that Towako has the key and she is going to leave. While Yuuga keeps on shouting, Tsubaki wishes him that things will go smoothly. Blushing really red, Yuuga shouts for her to quit joking around. While Yuuga is wondering what’s with all those things, he goes into shock when Towako says that they are finally alone. Yuuga freaks out over seeing blushing Towako in an almost see through yukata/robe. He goes into shock when Towako prostrate and bows to him while saying, ‘I’ll be under your care’. To Towako’s surprise, flustered Yuuga starts shouting that she is an idiot, what is she doing and as the leading lady in a shoujo series, what she is doing is over the top. He shouts for her to stand up. Towako quickly did as ordered and goes to sit at the futon. The main light is already open and Yuuga is trying to calm himself down. Towako apologizes to him and asks if he would rather do it in an ordinary way. Yuuga looks tense. He asks her why she is suddenly enthusiastic about this and didn’t he say early in the morning that ‘it would be better for us to not be together’ and he is doing that for her. Yuuga tells her that is enough, they should go home, and she should open the door. Towako says that she doesn’t want to and unless they do it, she won’t open it. “Because! Only by doing this, Yuuga will forever be my side!”
Yuuga looks surprised and asks if she meant the family rule and if they are doing it because of it, then it has no meaning. To his surprise again, Towako exclaims as to what reason for it to have meaning. Towako starts to cry and says, “..why do you want to distance yourself from me..? I.. in order for you not to hate me, I’ve always endured.. Actually I.. also thought of it a lot.. more and more.. I want to touch Yuuga more, and I also want Yuuga to touch me. To be kissed, hugged and also other things, I also want you to do a lot of things to me.. (Do not leave me) Isn’t that possible? Could it be that you don’t want to touch me again? (I want you..to be closer to me more than anyone else.) Yuuga finally goes to her and hugs her. To Towako’s surprise, he kisses her again and again. Then, he lightly pushes her down. Yuuga tells her that because things will turn out like this that is why he doesn’t want them to be together. Towako says that she doesn’t understand. Yuuga says that he doesn’t have the confidence to stay by her side. Leaning his head on hers, Yuuga tells her that before others would steal her away from him, he feels compelled to make her his. Pushing him up, Towako exclaims, “All the more I don’t understand, what do you mean by that?! Is it really because of that?” Yuuga tensely sweatdrops and apologizes to Towako. Towako tells him, “..I’m [already] yours..” Somewhat flustered Yuuga says, “Ya..” While Yuuga touches her face, Towako thinks, “Tonight.. [we’ll make] this sentence become reality.” When she is partly undressed, Towako asks him to close the overhead light since she is embarrassed. Yuuga says that just now, she is wearing a see-through robe. Flustered Towako exclaims that isn’t the same thing. Yuuga dims the light and starts to take off his robe half-way. Towako thinks that in the dim light, it is more.. Towako blushes and quickly lies on the futon, face first. Yuuga goes to her and asks what’s with her now, isn’t this what she wanted to do like kissing, hugging and all other things. While he kisses her back, blushing Towako says that he is bullying her. Yuuga kisses her and says yes, and a lot more. Towako tells him to do it properly. Towako thinks that Yuuga’s warmth is transferring to her. While Yuuga is on her chest, Towako thinks that his hair ticklish and what is going on for she is feeling dizzy. She moans and feels really hot that she doesn’t know what to do that she covers her face. Yuuga looks at her and tells her to remove her hands from her face so that he can see. Towako refuses for she feels that her expression must be strange. To her shock, Yuuga says that it is indeed strange. While Yuuga is holding her wrists, Towako cries that is why she said that he shouldn’t look. Towako then looks at him and thinks that he is looking at her with that passionate gaze.
Yuuga tells her that this is bad for he absolutely will not give her to anyone else. “I should be the only one, who’ll see that expression of yours..” Suddenly, Yuuga stands up and says that he cannot endure it so wait for a while. Yuuga goes to the side and tries to look for a condom among the kit box. Towako looks at his back while he is putting it on. To Yuuga’s surprise, Towako snuggles at his back. Blushing, Yuuga asks what she is doing. Towako says that it is because for a moment, she felt lonely upon seeing his back towards her. This turns Yuuga on. Yuuga angrily shouts at her not to seduce him at a time like this. Towako blushes and asks when she seduced him. Flustered Yuuga tells her that he would really not be able to hold it in. While Towako kisses him, she thinks, “Yuuga, it is only now when I’ve realized how much you thought of me.. So, I also want to convey, that it is only with you, I have this kind of feeling. Please believe me..” She kisses him again. Soon, he is on top of her. Towako tells him that it hurts. Yuuga tells her that it is alright and she should relax. He also tells her that he couldn’t stop so he’ll continue. Towako angrily tells him how that thing can go in when it is bigger than before, the last time she has seen it. Yuuga sweatdrops and tells her that it will go in..definitely. While Towako is in pain, she glances at Yuuga and thinks that he’s really beautiful and since he is perspiring, he is also doing his best. While she calls his name many times, Towako thinks, “No matter how many times, this comforting pain and also this spell-binding consciousness shake me. It is as if we really mutually blended [/become one] together, loving each other, inseparable, and bliss. What is this called?” Towako then says, “I like you..” Soon, it is morning. Yuuga holds sleeping Towako’s hair and looks at her. He caresses her face and she smiles before turning to his side. Smiling at her, Yuuga hugs her closer to him. Soon, the clock rings and it is already 5am. Towako wakes up to see Yuuga looking at her and says, “Hi.” While she is surprised, Yuuga tells her that he thinks she will be awake soon so he is watching her. Towako becomes surprised that she is totally naked. Yuuga says that everything in the room is automatic that in the kit box, there is also a key. Yuuga puts a glass of drink on Towako’s face and says how she can be embarrassed when he saw everything last night. While Yuuga is laughing, Towako realizes that they have finally done it last night. She starts to gulp the drink as fast as she could to cope with this fact. Yuuga asks how her body is, is she okay. Towako blushes and thinks that it is such a gentleman question. Towako says she is okay. He asks if she is feeling sleepy. Towako is puzzled why he is asking this question.
Yuuga tells her that it is because they slept around 22:30 and yet she still wakes up at 5:00. Towako starts to freak out that she broke the family rule and she never done this before. Yuuga tells her that before, she just naturally fall asleep. Yuuga hugs her and says that is okay because while having sex, it can keep her awake so it isn’t necessary for him to pay attention to time again. Towako exclaims what he meant by that and speaking of that, doesn’t he always wake up late. Yuuga tells her that is true but today, if he wakes up late, it will be such a waste. Towako looks at smiling Yuuga and thinks that if he says it in such a gentle way, she would not want to leave his side again. They kiss each other again and look at each other’s eyes. Then, Yuuga says that this is bad because he wants to do it again. Towako is shock that he wants to do it so early in the morning. Yuuga blushes and says that it doesn’t have anything to do with time but rather, he is very healthy. He is somewhat puzzled upon seeing Towako blushing really red. She tells him that it is okay, she will do her best as long as they won’t be late for school. She is surprised when Yuuga mischievously smiles at her then glomps her down to bed. He kisses her on the cheek and tells her that it is alright, there is no need to force herself. He assures her that he can endure it for today and anyway, they can do it, no matter how many times, later on. Still hugging her to him, Yuuga says that right now, he wants them to be like this. He kisses her bare shoulder that Towako giggles and says that it is ticklish. While they look at each other, Towako thinks that Yuuga’s body warmth makes her feel more comfortable than yesterday and even if she doesn’t meticulously look at it, she can totally remember the shape of Yuuga’s fingers, the warmth of his lips and the broadness of his shoulders. Even if, the touching of their flesh still makes her heart beat, she still thinks that there is nothing more natural than this. Yuuga tells her that they go skip class. Towako says that he usually doesn’t want to. Yuuga tells her that she always skip class. Towako happily says that he always objects. Yuuga says that it seems she is really happy. Yuuga blushes when Towako giggle since she is thinking, “Because I’m already Yuuga’s and Yuuga is also mine.” Yuuga tells her that if she has that kind of expression, it makes him want to attack her. Towako then screams.
While they are being lovey-dovey, Towako tells him that they should prepare for school. Soon, they take a bath together. Yuuga helps Towako blow dry her hair. They dress each other up while continue on kissing. Towako thinks, “Feeling this person’s warmth, it is as if one has undergone rebirth to the point of satisfaction. I wish that this moment will continue on till eternity...” They stop kissing and say that they will be late. While Towako wonders why she feels like that, the two face the school. Yuuga comments that they used up almost three hours [before getting there] and they should go in. Towako says okay. Soon, Towako is blushing and dizzy over the way the embarrassing way they dressed each other up. She wonders why now and could it be because she is returning to reality. She freaks out upon noticing that Yuuga is staring at her. She blushes really red when Yuuga suddenly kisses her. She exclaims why he suddenly did that. Blushing Yuuga says that it is because they cannot do that when they go in the classroom. While Yuuga whistles as he go in class and greets his friends, Towako wonders what’s up with Yuuga [<- since he used to be so uptight] and then, she notices that it seems that Yuuga is more beautiful than he usually is. Towako overhears the girls also noticing this though Yuuga usually just smiles at the other guys. To everyone’s surprise, Yuuga calls out to Towako. In Super Shiny Eye, Yuuga tells her that they look at the notes that his friends lend him, together. While the other girls are mesmerized by this, Towako is freaking since he said it out loud, even if he is already standing in front of everyone. While Yuuga is looking clueless, Yasumochi is freaking out that Yuuga would suddenly intimately smile and invite a girl ‘let’s look at it together’. “What is going on, what could have happened to him?!” Yuuga lightly chops him on the head and asks what that comment is about. He decides to let him be and goes to the desk where Towako is so that they look at the notes together. The other girls comment that Yasumochi’s observation is true for Yuuga is obviously in a very good mood that the girls in other classrooms are looking in there to see Yuuga. Some jealous girls comment that it seems that he is very close with Towako and what could have happened to Yuuga.
Ding dong, it is lunch break. Towako looks for Reimi and Saho, since she wants to talk to them but they are already walking out of the classroom. She goes out to call them but a group of jealous girls surround Towako and ask if they can talk with her for a while. Soon, they corner her at the back of the building. Towako wonders what’s with this situation. She happily asks if they are going to invite her for lunch. While the girls are irritated and jealous, Towako continues to happily says that she finds it interesting that she will get to eat with a lot of people but sorry, she has something to do right now so could they wait a bit. Turning away while holding her bento, Towako tells them that she’ll get Reimi and Saho to join them, too. The girls got scared if Towako calls those other two. They call Towako to stop for she obviously cannot read the situation especially since this isn’t a place to eat lunch, and they have a problem with her. Towako asks what she did to them. They exclaim that it is about Yuuga and what is really their relationship. Towako becomes nervous since Yuuga told her not to tell the others. The jealous girls say that even if they are relatives, she shouldn’t be too involved with him for Yuuga belongs to everyone. They say that she is getting away with it because she is an ojousama and she has a lot of money. They threaten her not to get close to Yuuga. While Towako is wondering what’s going on and what are they trying to tell her, someone asks the girls what they are doing. They turn to see that it is Setsuna. [Long time no see..=P] The girls start to whisper that it is Towako’s younger brother and they heard that he is a second year prince-like transfer student. This made them more irritated at Towako. Setsuna looks at them then coughs. The girls back away as Towako asks Setsuna if he is okay. Setsuna apologizes and asks Towako to bring him to the doctor. Towako says that is no problem. She apologizes to the girls that she will be leaving first. The girls can only tell her to do as she pleases. Setsuna coughs a bit more and asks if they are Towako’s friends. He smiles at them and says that if it is so, he would also want to become their good friends. This made the girls gaga over him. The girls change their tune and say that they are good friends with Towako and they all ought to eat lunch together next time. While they tell them to quickly go to the doctor, Setsuna hurriedly takes Towako by the shoulder and says that they should go. Sitting by the side of another[?] building, Towako asks Setsuna if he was lying in order to help her. Setsuna says that it is better to do that rather than to clumsily resist [them]. Towako asks where he learned to do that but then, she thanks him. Towako thinks that it has been a long time since she has talked with him and could this be the reason. Looking at Setsuna who isn’t looking at her, Towako thinks that it seems like he is a different person. Setsuna says that he heard that she didn’t come home yesterday. This made Towako embarrassed as she tensely admits that it is true. Setsuna sadly asks, “Sis, are you happy right now?” Towako blushes and smiles before saying she is. She sadly says, “But, for the others who just now, also likes Yuuga, I’m definitely a detestable existence.. (just like how it was before with Sawaguchi and Mizuno also..) Even if Renjou Kaoru says that ‘it cannot be helped’..”
To Towako’s surprise, Setsuna says, “Yes, one shouldn’t sympathize [for the other], because loving someone yet not [able to be] loved in return is a loser. *Towako looks at Setsuna* It meant that one’s own perseverance [to love the other] and charisma isn’t enough.” Towako wonders why Setsuna say it that way and why he had such a sorrowful expression. Setsuna closes his eyes and then he tells her to quickly eat else lunch break is over. Towako sweatdrops and says that is right. She asks him if he already ate. He says yes. Towako thinks that she has also seen that kind expression on Setsuna before. It was when he has to move away to a treatment facility. “But, that child won’t say anything, he always won’t say anything and keeps everything within his heart.” At the hallway, Himeno is happy over a picture of a cat that he took a picture of on his cellphone. He then sees Towako and Setsuna together. He remembers hearing from Miju that Setsuna likes Towako. He becomes tense for Miju’s love life is in danger. He decides to inform Yuuga first. At the roof where Yuuga is eating with his friends, Yuuga just says, ‘So what’. Himeno exclaims that Towako and that grieving guy [Setsuna] are eating together so isn’t he angry. Yuuga calmly says what is there to be angry about when they are siblings. “It isn’t necessary for me to get angry over this.” To Yuuga’s surprise, Himeno observes that it seems he has become quite calm and easygoing. Yuuga says that he is like that before. Himeno exclaims that it isn’t so because before, when he just gets near Towako a bit, he would become agitated that it makes one find it more interesting [<- want to tease him more]. “What, what, what happened?” Yuuga’s friends rib blushing Yuuga, that it was ‘that’. Yuuga sweatdrops and exclaims why are they butting in this, too. While Himeno is clueless, Yuuga’s friends happily tell Yuuga that it is useless to hide it for he is emitting a happy aura. It is also because he is so flashy that the girls are passionately looking at him. Yuuga sweatdrops and says that he didn’t know. Himeno muses out loud that he never thought that Yuuga can easily be seen through. Yuuga angrily says that he doesn’t want to be told that by Himeno who would just tell the other what he thinks. Himeno exclaims that he also conceals faults and he would only say it if it is evident. Pointing at Yuuga, Himeno tells him that is his bad point for it is already obvious on Yuuga’s face yet he won’t say it. For Yuuga, that is his road to survival. Yuuga angrily tells him that he cannot make out of what Himeno is saying and he shouldn’t just saying things as he pleases. To Yuuga’s shock, Himeno tells him, “I have always thought of it before and To-chan [<- Towako; his nickname for her] also mentioned it- She said that you never told her that she’s ‘cute’ and you definitely haven’t told her ‘I like you’.” This stabs Yuuga’s heart for it is true. Himeno giggles and tells Yuuga that this won’t do at all for girls [including Towako] would also want Yuuga to use words to convey to her but for Yuuga, that is perhaps, hard to do. “You feel that if you yourself know about it, then it is fine~~ you also get excited all by yourself~~”
Yuuga is aghast and bleeding from the multiple stabs that Himeno said. Yuuga becomes gloomy and frustrated for he just got himself lectured by Himeno. Himeno is really happy for he finally feels like a winner against Yuuga. Himeno thinks that like this, Yuuga will treasure Towako more which in turn, won’t give Setsuna any place to get between them. Walking away, he happily wishes Miju ‘gambatte’ then he becomes gloomy over getting himself worked up for other people. In classroom 3-2, Towako asks Reimi if Saho has already left. Reimi says that Saho’s family called up and it seems that something happened so she hurried home. Towako apologizes to Reimi about yesterday and it isn’t because she doesn’t treasure Yuuga. Reimi angrily shouts that she knows, so shut up. “I’ve also reflected on it and I’ve said some cruel things. You really put me in a bad mood. Do you know that just being with you for some time, Yuuga can become very happy? Only you can make him have that kind of expression, so you ought to make him forever happy..” Towako blushes, and smiles over this. Towako thanks her which made Reimi to angrily ask if she really understands [what she is telling her?]. A female student comes in and says that in the next optional class, they are to self-study Japanese history. The girls are sad that Kaoru isn’t coming while the guys are happy about it. Towako is surprised to hear the others wondering what happened for lately, Kaoru isn’t coming to class and because his absences are quite long that they are already looking for another teacher to replace him. Meanwhile, Ritsu is watching Saho, clad in a kimono, arranging some flowers. He comments that since then and until now, her expression has always been quite frightening. Ritsu asks what happened and is she still angry at him. Saho says that it is both for he suddenly did that thing to Towako and even if he likes her, he should know the things he can and cannot do. Ritsu comments that it seems his eye for things is good and it was Saho who invited him to join the camping. Saho says that it is because she didn’t know that he’ll do that unfathomable thing. Ritsu looks at her and smiles. He tells her, “—do you want me to tell you? My name is Nigami Ritsuki.” [Special thanks to bebexiu for the raw scans which enabled me to know how his name is read.] Saho looks at him in surprise that she mutters, “--What?” Still smiling Ritsuki says, “Saho, I.. I’ve regained my memories.” As Yuuga and Towako are going to the car, Yuuga tries to tell Towako something but he wasn’t able to do it. It only made Towako wonder what that is about. Narration: “Within our hearts, we were fully happy and satisfied, to the point that we didn’t notice the things that are changing around us nor did we notice that there is huge vortex which is going to strike at our direction-- Besides, from that day on, Renjou Kaoru and Mizuno-chan didn’t go to school again.”
Side story: This is about Towako’s ancestor, Tokifumi during the Sengoku era. [Ah, names are invented in accordance to the kanji.] According to tradition, he has to get married with someone of the same birthday as his. He isn’t too interested in it but for the Gokurakuin family, he will do it. After some search and gossips, they find a poor girl who matches the requirements. Tokifumi isn’t too thrilled that a dirty girl would be his bride. The girl exclaims that she wanted to go back to her family. She is quite feisty and speaks her mind that it amuses Tokifumi to no end. He laughs and tells her not to worry for they are giving a lot of wealth to her family. The girl tries to protest that isn’t the issue here since it isn’t about the money but being with her family. Tokifumi says that he doesn’t understand what she is saying but she can relax for from today on, she will be his bride. Soon, they started to live together for 7 days alone. Tokifumi assures her that everything will be provided for. He asks her about her name. She tells him that it is Yuzuru. Being ignorant of things, he strips her since he wants her to change her clothes. He laughs over being slapped for it. ^^; During that time, they eat together, Yuzuru shows that she is not afraid of snakes and he teaches her how to write. Soon, they pretty much got along with each other. One day, Tokifumi says that they are going out and since it is against the rules, they’ll just have to make sure that they aren’t found out. They go horseback riding. Yuzuru is having fun. Then, she sees a coniferous tree and says that her name is from that ‘Yuzuha’ which meant that ‘parents were able to give birth to a child’ and they hope that child will cherish one’s life and be a good child. She wonders how her father and siblings are doing. Tokifumi says that she is always worried about her family but he doesn’t understand that since his mother died of illness earlier on, his father died in a war while his siblings are always fighting for the right to heir the family. He wants to show his fighting abilities to win the ministers’ trust and confidence in him, and also to make the family name famous. Yuzuru says that as a commoner, she doesn’t understand that, for there will be sacrifices because of war and having a name isn’t that important because for her and her kind, what’s important is to be always with the people they love and pass on the land to the next generation. Yuzuru tries to tell him that if one dies, it is all over but to her surprise, Tokifumi tells her that he isn’t afraid of dying. They hurry back but Yuzuru becomes sad because she wants him to live.
Soon, they are formally married. The people were at first apprehensive since his wife is a commoner but they are satisfied since Tokifumi looks really happy. Afterwards, they are asked by a country to ally with them in order to fight a bigger country. Yuzuru tries to dissuade him because she finds it meaningless. He tells her that if they win, they will have fame and glory but for Yuzuru, her only concern is for him to be with her forever. Tokifumi just smiles and tells his men to get ready. The battle is quite fierce. There is a chance of victory if the whole army charges in and attack. Tokifumi is distress for he won’t be able to fulfill Yuzuru’s wish. Then, the enemy country send a letter asking them to side with them and they will guarantee them fame and glory. Some ministers do not want to do that kind of thing since it will ruin their name while the others are worried about their families. A ninja girl tells Yuzuru about the proposal and about the high possibility of Tokifumi refusing the proposal. Yuzuru believes it, too since Tokifumi isn’t afraid of dying. She quickly heads out to Tokifumi while followed by her ninja girl. At the battlefield, Tokifumi cannot decide yet since he is considering Yuzuru. Suddenly, leaves of the coniferous tree are floating down from the sky. It is Yuzuru, with the help of her ninja girl, who is throwing the leaves down to them from an overhanging cliff. Tokifumi remembers Yuzuru telling her about the meaning of the leaves = wishes for the child, and living together with one’s loved ones. Then, Tokifumi makes his decision. At the cliff, Yuzuru turns around to see Tokifumi. Yuzuru goes to him and hugs him. Tokifumi says that he thought that just by marrying her, he can go ahead to battle without hesitation but mysteriously, even if he isn’t afraid of dying, he wants to live, live together with her. And so, Tokifumi return to their kingdom and made a peace pact with the enemy. Soon, instead of allying with some other state, they will broker peace treaties that they become a neutral country. Even if it isn’t in the history, they had a major contribution and that is the origin of Gokurakuin family’s fame and prosperity. Yuuga says that he isn’t quite moved by that. Towako asks how can that be for it shows how his wife had changed the lord and she [Towako] is alive now thanks to her. Still lying beside a huge coniferous tree, Yuuga says that makes him a bit thankful. Towako sweatdrops and asks why only a little.
So, the outdoor trip introduces more of Ritsu/Ritsuki and he is quite a formidable enemy. Bad guys who can act, pretend and manipulate can cause a lot of trouble. Since he read the Gokurakuin family rules, he will really cause trouble later on. I think his goal wasn’t really Towako but to ruin Towako’s relationship with Yuuga..unless he is just saying that to get back at her. But still, I had an impression that after he interacted with Towako and he has somewhat fallen for her..like most of the other guys. ^^; But then, who wouldn’t, she is really so proactive and endearing. Yuuga wants to distance himself, she locks him up in a room and seduces him. =P Indeed, this is rarely seen in lead girl of a shoujo series. I really find it amusing that it is Yuuga who is glowing after the sex. It makes me wonder if it is his first time. Ironically, Ritsuki tries to break them apart but he ended up strengthening the relationship between the two. Also, about Mioko, she should be a bit more sensitive regarding Kyousuke but I guess she is really in love with him. They aren’t married yet and he is acting coldly with her. Ah, I’m on a high. I made a banner for BW yesterday with hopes that they will post it up or else, I just wasted my time. Thankfully, they would post it. ＼（＾ ＾）／ It is for the shounen thread. I kind of feel sorry for it since it doesn’t have a welcome banner unlike the shoujo ones. I pretty much put up the main characters of WSJ series, that I read, on the banner =P Since it can only be seen by BW members, I posted it below to show you what it looks like.
PS. I’m still doing OwO. One and half chapters more... and I’m already in page 14 in Word. ^^; I think I might have to put it into two entries. Anyway, it might be up either tomorrow or on Monday.

Anna goes in the door and apologizes for being late. She is surprised when Nanoka and Aya suddenly take her picture. The two girls laugh and say that they got Anna’s picture. They then look at the pictures in the camera’s lcd display and comments that it looks really good. Anna is still stunned wondering what they are so excited about. Chiaki comments that Anna is late. Anna apologizes for this. Chiaki tells her that she already had given theirs so this one is for Anna. It is a Canon DSLR [Digital single-lens reflex] camera. Nanoka happily pulls Anna’s arm and tells her that they go out and take beautiful pictures. Chiaki tells them to wait for there is something she wants to ask them. “Do you know of Shashin [/Photo] Koshien?” They all pose like baseball. [Koshien is a well-known baseball stadium in Hyogo prefecture. It is the home base of a popular professional baseball team and the site of the national high school tournaments every spring and summer. It is also a generic term adopted by major national high school tournaments of other kinds for example Manga Koshien or Dance Koshien. In this series, it is Photo Koshien. Source: Click Japan ] Teacher tells them that she didn’t mean baseball but rather, there is also photography Koshien. It is a national photography contest for high school students, grouped into three, which represents one school. In the preliminary round, the group of three will take pictures and submit 4-8 pictures as entries. After passing the elimination round, on summer, they can go to Hokkaido and participate in the main Shashin Koshien event. “If you guys are interested, want to join? ♪” [Shashin Koshien is a real life national photography contest for high school photography clubs that is held in Higashikawa, Hokkaido. For more info, check it out at Click Japan , Column 5].] While the girls look interested, Chiaki tells them to take pictures for a while and think about it. At the hallway, Nanoka and Aya express their interest in joining the contest. Nanoka happily says that since it is a group of three, Anna should also join. It turns out Anna isn’t listening because she is busy looking at the camera. Anna then exclaims that there are too many buttons and she doesn’t know which one is the shutter. Nanoka is shock that Anna didn’t know. Nanoka points out to Anna where the shutter is and the viewfinder. Anna points the camera to the sky and takes a picture. She looks at the display and says that it is amazing for it seems like a piece of the sky has been taken. Anna looks at the camera in amazement. She thinks that of course, since the sound of the shutter and the color isn’t the same like that of an ordinary camera. Nanoka asks Anna about joining the Shashin Koshien. Anna happily says yes, for she wants to try it out, too.
Anna and Nanoka are very enthusiastic about this that they want to go and take pictures. They have permission from Chiaki to go out of the school premises to do just that. Just when they are raring to go, Aya asks Anna how was Sou’s birthday. Anna becomes gloomy for it is brought up at this time. She thinks that she cannot escape from this topic. Shaking and tense, Anna timidly says that the birthday party went well but a lot of things happened afterwards. Aya looks worried upon seeing her reaction. At the park[?] near the subway, the girls are sitting on a bench to talk about it. Aya asks if this is the reason why she came to school alone yesterday. Anna says yes. With a smile, Nanoka thinks that it isn’t bad for Sou can do whatever he wants. Anna says yes, for her, it is like that. They notice that Aya has zone out. Aya snaps out of it and apologizes to Anna for naively asking about that. Anna tells her that it is okay and she ought to apologize since they helped her a lot yet the result ended up like that. Nanoka exclaims that they drop this topic for they specially went out to take pictures. Suddenly, Nanoka stands up and points towards the subway. She shouts, “It’s Hinata!!” Anna turns around to where Nanoka is pointing. “Eh?! Hinata?!” Nanoka calls out, “Hey- Hinata--” Standing by the stairs and carrying a lot of heavy bags, Hinata turns around. While Anna laments over how many times she is going to be mistaken about the two HINATA-s, Hinata looks surprised upon seeing them that he lost his balance and falls downstairs. While Nanoka comments that Hinata is an idiot, the other two girls are shock. The trio rush downstairs to find Hinata lying flat on the ground along with the shopping bags that he was carrying. Aya exclaims to Hinata if he is alright. Nanoka says that he is really slow-witted for he will, of course lose his balance from carrying all those things. Hinata is surprised when Anna asks if all the things are his since the things in the bag have already spilled out. Hinata quickly sits up and tries to tell Anna to stop and just leave everything as is. Anna holds a plastic with papers inside. Anna’s eyes widen since it is paper for drawing manga/comics. After a pause, Anna asks, “..eh, this is.. Kazami-kun, you draw manga?” Hinata looks dark while his childhood friends go ‘hehe’ since they already knew.
At Hinata’s room, Nanoka tells Anna that ever since before, Hinata likes to draw and he also really likes manga. Hinata says that during first year junior high, Nanoka and Aya encouraged him to submit an entry to a manga reward contest. Nanoka exclaims that Hinata luckily won the prize and he’s such a lucky guy. “Afterwards, he formally started his career. Basically, Hinata is a high school mangaka ☆” Sparkling eyes, Anna exclaims, “Is that so!!! It’s like Bakuman” [<- hehe, same with my reaction when I learned about it. Bakuman is a manga about talented artist Moritaka Mashiro and aspiring writer Akito Takagi, two ninth grade boys who wish to become mangaka. Source: wiki] While Aya trying to comfort him since this is exposed to Anna, Hinata gloomily asks why they are in his room. Nanoka says that it is because he seems to be having a hard time carrying those things so they helped him. Hinata angrily shouts that he is asking as to why Anna also came. Anna sheepishly apologizes for being thick-faced to come in. Hinata freaks out and says that isn’t what he is referring to. After a pause, gloomy Hinata apologizes and tells Anna that he would be really grateful if she keeps this a secret from the people in school. Anna sweatdrops and says okay, she won’t tell. Aya asks if he is going to draw an [original] manuscript that is why he bought a lot of drawing tools. Hinata says that he is still drawing a draft storyboard and the drawing tools are just for him to use to relieve his boredom. Hinata’s mother comes in and tells Hinata that he has a phone call from his editor. Hinata is in a panic for it is comment about the draft storyboard [he submitted] and he didn’t expect that there will be a quick reply during the break. He then tells the girls to go. Anna is puzzled what a draft storyboard is. Someone tells her that before drawing the formal manuscript, one has to draw the layout/composition of the manga’s manuscript. While Hinata goes to answer the phone, Nanoka and Aya greet Hinata’s mother. Anna is still looking at Hinata’s direction. Hinata goes back to his desk and listens to his editor on the phone regarding the corrections. He is told by the editor regarding the long talk which can be superfluous/redundant and about the female character.
After Hinata hangs up the phone, he is looking at his rough storyboard. He is startled when Anna takes his picture. He goes into shock that Anna is still there. Anna happily exclaims, “How cool!! [That] I wanted to take Kazami’s picture!!” Hinata goes ‘huh’. Nanoka asks if she is referring to the Shashin Koshien. Aya says that it a good idea for they are beginners who doesn’t have any photo taking skills. If they are to win the elimination round, they need a good and new story outline [/theme for the pictures] is very important. “It is also quite rare to use a high school mangaka as the subject for photography. It could also give others a deeper impression about the pictures.” Nanoka happily embraces Aya and exclaims no wonder she’s Aya [that’s a good idea]. Aya asks what Hinata thinks. Anna asks, “Kazami-kun, can you be our model?!” Scowling Hinata bluntly says, “..I refuse.” Nanoka looks irritated while the two other girls’ smiles are just..ah frozen, it seems. Soon, after school dismissal, Anna is walking at the hallway. She thinks that of course Hinata will refuse for he did told her to keep it a secret. “But, since then, [I/we] do not have any other thing that [I/we] want to take a picture of.” Then, her cellphone rings. It is an email from Hinata. “I’m going to eat dinner at Mashiro’s place. It will be omrice [rice within an omelete] (‘ワ’)/ I’m going to leave my stomach empty before going. *runs away*” After looking surprised, Anna somewhat smiles and thinks that ever since Sou’s birthday, Hinata starts to earnestly write her emails and calls her up. Anna muses what’s up that colorful language he used, it’s so cute. “Happy at one side, I cannot help but think, ‘why?’, although it should just be [his way] of helping me to cheer up. I still don’t know if Hinata still remembers about my confession last year..” Anna is surprised when she sees Sou, coming out of the classroom. Sou is telling some guy that he has work. The guy says about going to have fun at his work but Sou declines. Looking at Sou’s back, Anna sadly thinks that it seems as if she is hearing Sou’s voice from afar and it is as if he is someone whom she doesn’t know. “The more I do not want to hear, the more it goes into my ear.” She didn’t notice that Hinata comes out of the other door of the classroom and is watching her. Hinata turns around and walks away. Then, he takes out his cellphone to call Aya. Aya is delighted that Hinata has finally agreed to be their model. After Aya thanks him, Hinata says, “But, on contrary, there is also something that I want to ask [a favor/condition].”
I’m so happy with this chapter since everything that I expected to happen, is happening. First, Anna will indeed be interested in photography. I think that is a good way for her to keep her mind off a bit regarding her childhood friends. If she is good at it, I think it is a good choice for a career since it doesn’t need much intelligence to take pictures. Based on what I read, that competition is also a good experience for it supposedly teaches teamwork and reflecting on themselves through photography which in the end, helps them grow as individuals. I think it can help Anna be more mature ^^ Second, Hinata is getting more involved in the story or rather with Anna. One childhood friend is out of town while the other wants a ‘cool off’ so it opens the field for the new guy. Interestingly, it is Anna who is the one who took that initiative because I thought it would be Hinata. Somehow, I’m having the impression that Hinata is like a combination of both Sou and Hinata. Anyway, it is such a nice surprise to learn that Hinata is a mangaka. The reason why he is always sleeping in class is finally revealed. Haha, and I thought he is the lazy type ^^; Wow..two HINATA-s are into art. It seems like screaming for a competition for Anna. Not only are their names similar but they also have similar interests in some way. Art, manga, photography, baking – I’m interested in those themes so I’m really liking this series. I think it will be interesting to see how they will become when they are older. I cannot help but wonder what the reaction of her childhood friends when they learn that Anna has a new male friend of their age and Anna is the one who asked him to be the model for their photography contest. Actually, I’m imaging Sou’s reaction if/when Hinata will be walking with her to school. Also, I think summer will be fun when Hinata is back in town. Fufufu..I’m getting excited over the many possibilities. Of course, it still depends on what exchange/condition that Hinata wants for modeling. Lastly, I think this author is also reading Bakuman since I don’t think it is a coincidence that Mashiro here is deliberately named after Bakuman’s Mashiro but of course, the kanji is different. =P Hm..does it mean she also reads/watches Pokemon too? ^^; Scans by all★wink汉化组.

I’ll be doing backlogs again unless something comes out, out of the blue. The series that I’m still waiting for are Stardust★Wink, Reimei no Arcana and Bokutachi wa Shitte Shimatta but as February approaches, I’m guessing that they might be making it two chapters per month again..hopefully. I don’t know if the latter two series had a break in Cheese so perhaps, I’m not waiting for anything ^^; Last I read in baidu about SDW is that someone is going to translate it but that was last December. Well, maybe there are some unforeseen setbacks. I don’t know about The One since whitesunnie is still missing in action and before, there is someone in baidu who uploads it if the one in BW didn’t. Ah, Akuma to Love Song, is on temporarily on hold until I’m in the mood to do it. ^^; So, for now, the plan is to do some more Ojousama wa Oyomesama. I hope to finish another arc then I’ll do some Ookami-heika no Hanayome.
PS. Stardust★Wink is already out. Yay ^^ I'll work on that tomorrow but I'm not sure if I can finish it tomorrow ^^; I was working on Owo until now and it is already late. ^^;;

At home, Kahoko re-watches Len’s performance through a DVD that she copied from a friend. She muses that it has been a long time since she saw his face but the gap between them is still huge. She sighs over herself then remembers her conversation with Azuma. She begins to wonder what she had been telling him. The next day, Azuma comes to drive her to school. Kahoko apologizes for speaking out of bounds. Azuma comments about Kahoko sighing when she came out of the house and is it because of seeing Len on the television. He comments about Kahoko having times of being depressed but still, because of this, she still continues to do her best. Azuma tells her that he doesn’t plan on always blaming that person and it isn’t because of what she told him. Kahoko blushes when he thanks her although he always felt a bit angry. At school, the girls are glad to see Azuma. Azuma takes Kahoko’s hand to help her out of the car and whispers to her ear that in this kind of getting even, he is very nice. Kahoko blushes and is puzzled. Azuma bids her goodbye and wishes her ‘gambatte’. He left her with a hoard of jealous fangirls asking Kahoko what that is all about. Sorry if that isn’t in detail because I have no idea what Azuma and Kahoko are talking about since I didn’t read from the start. Hm..nothing much to comment about here but in the preview, it seems that Len is coming back since it mentioned of ‘reunion/meeting again’. For those who can read Japanese, I found this in the official page. I don’t know if it was there before or not but I’m curious about it. Is it for Valentine’s Day? Are those desserts inspired by the characters or is it, what they will cook for the girl they love? Hehe, somehow I’m thinking it is the former since the cat cannot cook and I think Reishou and Tamaki don't know how either. Hm..I always thought La Corda is a bestseller so how come it isn’t included? ^^; I guess depending on what it is all about, maybe La Corda isn’t ‘of theme’. =P [Edit: According to yuKime, it is a Lala Sweets Page which features sweets recipe on how to get your ideal guy. For example, if you want to get a cool/serious boyfriend (like Zero), you give him chocomint paves! X3 They even give you the actual recipes for them~! Usui = Space Alien Boyfriend; Ma-kun = Adult Boyfriend; Tamaki - Celebrity Boyfriend! <3] So, maybe it indeed preparation for V-day. I wonder though why Madara the cat is there ^^; For those who want a cat than an ideal guy? ^^; And Reishou is, probably = Oriental royalty? For the others' desserts. This is guesswork: Usui = choco fondue, Tamaki = choco mousse, Madara = cat-designed ice cream? with hard choco shell, Kazuma = iced choco refrigerator cookies and Reihou = sweet bun with chocolate and ah..bean paste? Hm..if the last one is right, it is the most exotic one.

Wow, Chinese scans is out in super amazing speed. Hehe, because a breakthrough has happened? =P Anyway, while waiting for yuu_chan and scanlation, here is a quickie summary. It is Christmas and they are in the amusement park. Misaki couldn’t say it outside so maybe she can while they are in the ferris wheel. Misaki is about to say, “I..” but Usui has to mention of that Cedric is in the other carriage. Misaki looks dark about this. She shouts his name but after a lot of blushing and struggling to say what she wants to say, she ends up blurting out that she doesn’t hate him. ^^; Usui just lamely says is that so, that’s great, thank you. And, Usui decides to give her gift..a scarf. While they were walking and Cedric continues to stalk them, Maria appears to Cedric and stalls him. He tries to make her leave but Maria doesn’t want to since she wants to see Misaki to look really happy. Since she won’t leave, Cedric calls someone but Maria goes flirty that she is into girls. Maria seems to tell him that she won’t let him keep stalking Usui if he doesn’t know the reason for doing so. Meanwhile, the couple realizes that their stalker is gone. Usui seems to want to tell her something but ends up saying that they eat something. They end up eating at a family style restaurant. Usui seems to want something more special since it is Christmas but Misaki kept on insisting it is fine. He made her blush when he says that just being with her, he is happy with whatever he does. Misaki decides that it is good timing now but first, she should give him the gift. She is struggling with her words and ends up blurting that she wants to eat cotton candy ^^;;
This made Misaki really frustrated and because he also gave her a scarf. Soon, they are walking home. She asks him about passing by the playground but some other couples are lovey-dovey there. Soon, she is at home. She thanks him for today. Usui apologizes for the stalker for it dampers the Christmas mood but still, he is very happy. While Usui is leaving, Misaki doesn’t want things to end like this since she already decided to tell him today. She calls out to him. She runs to him, puts the scarf on his head and kisses him. She finally confesses, “I like you.” Usui says he knows, and thank you. Usui also tells her, “I also like you.” Misaki exclaims that she knows that already. Usui laughs and says that they are even. Then, Usui finally asks her to be his girlfriend. He says that he thought it would be troublesome and even if he cannot responsibly say ‘I will definitely take care of you’, but still, he wants to be by her side. Misaki tells him that she never said that she wants his protection and how could he say about being troublesome when he is a perverted alien until now. “Are you stupid.. It is because I want to protect you, so I confessed to you.” Usui looks surprised then mutters that she is so manly. They hug each other as Misaki says, “..I will change as [/to become] your girlfriend.” So, ya, they are finally a couple and this means, more lovey-dovey in the future and they probably won’t waver easily like before. ^-^ By the way, according to 鏡花水月, the confession finally happened after four years and a half. Fumino thinks that she was really startled. She looks at butler Kazuma and mentally thanks Ryuu. Kazuma has prepared an English style breakfast [bread, bacon and egg with tea/coffee, etc]. He tells them that it is in a small quantity yet it is quite filling. Fumino asks if he isn’t embarrassed wearing that kind of outfit. Kazuma asks what she is saying when today is her day [to rule over him]. He tells her that whatever it is she asks and needs to bring up the issue to him, he will do it to his utmost ability in order to satisfy her. Fumino wonders if this is true and she wants for them to go out on a date but there are a lot of people during the break, and those who took the test might also be there, so there is a possibility that they might recognize Kazuma. Fumino decides that they just celebrate in the house where she can properly relax and this time around, she’ll be the one who’ll bully him. Pretending to be queen, Fumino coughs and happily calls him sensei, if he would accompany her [in eating]. Kazuma happily says, ‘as you ordered’ then he tells her to stop calling him ‘sensei’ and just call him ‘Kazuma’. Taking a spoonful of soup, S-mode Kazuma tells her to once again to call him Kazuma. While Fumino is open mouth freaking out, Kazuma feeds her with the soup. Then, to her embarrassment, Kazuma is fixing her hair and giving her a pedicure. Fumino couldn’t believe this is the outcome because Kazuma is just doing what he likes to do. Later on, Kazuma is cleaning Fumino’s ears while she is lying on his lap. Kazuma happily asks her what she thinks of the life of the queen, is she satisfied. Fumino exclaims at him [calling him ‘sensei’] that this is kind of embarrassing. Kazuma tells her that she still doesn’t let herself to be spoiled too much and she is like an all-knowing sister so from now on, she ought to get used to it. “If there is anything that you want, don’t endure, and no matter what it is, just say it out!” Kazuma then calls out to Teppei that it is his turn but Teppei is somewhat scared of it. [<-ear cleaning] While Kazuma comforts Teppei, Fumino thinks that Kazuma has already doted on her a lot. She remembers Shoma asking her what Kazuma told her and is it worth celebrating about. [<- the things Kazuma is hiding from her] She wonders if she should ask about it now. Noticing that she is looking thoughtful, Kazuma calls out to her but she quickly stands up and exclaims that she is going out to buy their lunch. Kazuma tries to tell her that he’ll be the one to go but Fumino shouts that he shouldn’t go out wearing that kind of outfit. Fumino wonders if his family hasn’t taught him that. [<- ah not to wear cosplay outside?] Kazuma just looks somewhat puzzled. Outside, Fumino is patting her head and thinking that, she wants to know and to hear are all coming out [from her heart] and how could [she?] be this greedy.
In the house, Kazuma lies on the floor with Teppei and having a guys talk. Kazuma is wondering out loud if in the end, he is a burden between them [siblings] and what should he do to make Fumino happy. This is his awareness as the head of the family. The door bell rings. Assuming that it is Fumino, Kazuma bows and says, “Welcome back, Miss Fumino!” He looks up to see a really aghast Shoma. Shoma tries to walk away but Kazuma holds his hand and shouts for him to wait. Shoma is in shock that he’s beloved brother is acting as a servant. He exclaims what he is doing. Kazuma says that he is just playing around. Just like Fumino, Shoma shouts for him not to go out like that. Kazuma asks if there is anything urgent that has happened. Shoma looks serious. Probably thinking that he came to see Fumino, Kazuma tells him that Fumino has gone out to buy something. Shoma becomes flustered. Shoma exclaims what Kazuma is saying that he [Shoma] forgot what he is supposed to say. Shoma shouts that he came to give him a gift for Obon festival. He then gives Kazuma a letter saying that it is from their father’s secretary, Sasa. While Teppei happily goes to Shoma, Shoma tells Kazuma not to read it to others and let surrounding people hear[/know] about it yet, it is best that he look at it early. Kazuma looks surprised over the letter. Later on, Fumino sees Shoma who is eating an ice cream popsicle. Carrying a plastic bag, Fumino asks if he is going to her house or he just came from there. Shoma angrily asks why she is staying at his [/rather Kazuma’s] place wherein she agreed to make his brother a servant. Fumino apologizes and tells him that the results of the mock exams are out and that is her reward. Finishing his popsicle, he irritates Fumino by telling her to first get in that high-level school [before celebrating]. Fumino decides to go back home but Shoma holds her hand and tells her that it is really chaotic right now and it has nothing to do with her because it is something between the Ojiro-s. Fumino tells him to let her go. To her flustered surprise, he wants a kiss before letting her go. Fumino shouts for him to quit it and stop kidding around. Shoma suddenly pulls her to him and kisses her on her left cheek. Shoma lets her go and Fumino is holding her left cheek. Holding the popsicle stick, Shoma tells her that like this, he’ll forgive her [for making his brother a servant?] and if she goes home and asks his brother what happened, it is possible that Kazuma won’t tell her. Fumino doesn’t believe him because Kazuma told her that for this whole day, it is okay for her to ask for anything and he’ll answer, ‘as you ordered’.
Fumino quietly comes in the house to find Kazuma engrossed in reading a letter. Fumino is somewhat flustered to see him so serious like that. She calls out to him that startled Kazuma exclaims in surprise before welcoming her back. Fumino asks her what that is. Nervously smiling, Kazuma quickly puts the letter to the side and tells her that it is nothing important and they should eat first. This displeases Fumino. Thinking that it shouldn’t be like this, she grabs his coat and says, “This is an order.. kiss me~” Kazuma covers his mouth and blushes saying that he isn’t too interested in that. Flustered Fumino calls him an idiot and exclaims that it ought to be okay on the cheek, on her left cheek. Teppei is currently napping. Fumino mentally asks for forgiveness for her rudeness and it is even still daytime [to be doing this]. Kazuma holds her shoulders, and kisses her on her cheek. Fumino thanks him. She is thinking that indeed it is only like this. Kazuma is surprised to see Fumino looking dark and angry. She tells him, “Then, the next one~ Until I say it is okay, you are not to move.” Kazuma looks tense and asks her what she is planning to do. While removing his glasses, she tells him to be quiet and listen to what she wants to say. Kazuma just say okay. Fumino looks at him who is looking at him a bit wide-eyed. Fumino thinks that right now, she can see him, and want to know everything..[In every] tiny bit. Fumino rumples his hair and comments, “Your hair is very soft.. never been dyed, and your forehead is also very beautiful. (have manners..) hair.. *touching near his eyes* and also eyes, light colored.. (it’s like a riddle) *Kazuma closes his eyes and somewhat bends his fingers on her skirt.* (Your smart and beautiful silhouette..) *touching his lips and looking flustered and teary-eyed* Sensei..no matter when, you make one unbearably want to touch you! Even if I’ve also didn’t asked!~~” [<- asked to let her touch him?] Kazuma is touching the letter that he was reading and looks at crying Fumino. She thinks, “But, right now, I can only be like this at first..” Kazuma tells her, “Okay.. *pulling down his necktie* to the existing place.. that is close to you..” Narration: “So.. *Fumino unbuttoning some buttons of Kazuma’s shirt* closer than anyone has been..” Fumino touching Kazuma’s bare chest and Kazuma’s heart is beating so fast for Fumino. The two are blushing. Then, Fumino kisses his chest. Narration: “Do you feel it?--” Hugging Fumino to him, [I think it is] Kazuma [who] says, “I’m sorry! Let me say.. this letter.. so.. already..” Suddenly, Ryuu comes in and shouts that the second butler is gorgeously reporting [for duty]. He blushes upon seeing the two and exclaims if they were busy just now. Fumino has quickly runs to where Teppei is sleeping..well, he is awake now because of the ruckus. Holding his hand to his bowed head, partly undressed Kazuma tells him not anymore, thanks to him. Narration: “More or less knowing some thing regarding the Ojiro family, please look forward next time~ [/chapter].” In the last scene, Fumino blushes since she is overjoyed that her three butlers composed of Kazuma, Ryuu and Teppei are serving her. Kazuma tells her to do her best to get the number 1 place. Fumino exclaims that is too harsh.
Hehe..so this is just a set-up chapter before we get to Kazuma’s family background and of course, some lovey-dovey. I first thought that what was in the letter is about the father dying or something ^^; Is it possible that his father wants to reconcile with him especially since he recently met with his mother? It seems that Shoma is still split on getting angry at Fumino because of how highly he regards Kazuma and at times, trying to get away with some ‘affectionate actions’ when he can. I’m thinking that Fumino deliberately made Kazuma kiss her left cheek to erase Shoma’s kiss. I’m amused at how Kazuma pampers Fumino and how Fumino seduces him. Hehe, I guess she seduced him to loosen his tongue =P It’s really too bad that Ryuu interrupted..I think they would have done more or Kazuma would have probably said more.. oh well, the author is reserving that for the next chapter. By the way, there might be some mistakes here because I had a bit of hard time with this translator. ^^; Sorry about the pics, it looks worse when I try to brighten/contrast them. At home, on the television, a man is campaigning over what he’ll do if he wins. Saho promptly closes the television which made Ritsu complain about it and it is Saho’s father. Saho says that she wishes that guy wasn’t her father for he would just think of his own benefit, and keeping up appearances the whole day. She also thinks that in that election, her father is doing some dirty shady business behind. She plans to run away from home after graduating from first year high school. Ritsu tells her that she cannot survive alone. She was able to live this way because of her father’s dirty money. Even if she rebels and specially chose a bad school, she would still accept the money given to her for her school expenses. If she runs away, what about the rental money, and her guardian, and doesn’t she still want to go to college. Saho looks surprised at him. Ritsu smiles and asks her what’s so bad about depending on her father and using the dirty money. Opening the television again to the program about Saho’s father’s campaign, Ritsu tells her, that it isn’t good to rebel. “Being born to a rich and powerful family, for you, Saho, that is a kind of ‘power’. You should learn to use that kind of ‘power’ .” Saho seems to be shock about what Ritsu is saying. Noticing the time, Ritsu tells Saho to hurry and go or else, Renjou-sensei would get angry. During dinner, Tokiko tells the others that Setsuna wants to eat at the recuperating area so he won’t be joining them. [It is blurry but it seems that Towako and her parents houses are joined with a hallway then at the side of Towako’s building is Setsuna’s.] Tokiko laments about Setsuna becoming depressed over the failed miai. Towako realizes that her mother didn’t know that it was Setsuna who helped Mioko’s elopement. She tells her mother that it ought to be alright, regarding Setsuna. Towako clams up when her mother asks if she knew something. Towako nervously changes the topic and says that the pickled [in vinegar] vegetables are quite delicious. Tokiko is surprised that she asks, if Towako used to like it before. Towako just says that it is specially delicious now. To Yuuga’s shock, Towako suddenly tells her mother that there is something she wants to ask her about the baby. Towako plans to ask things regarding childbirth when she suddenly chokes on her food. She excuses herself and goes to the toilet, accompanied by Tsubaki. Tokiko looks somewhat surprised over this while Yuuga wonders if Towako is alright. In the toilet, Towako couldn’t believe that she has to choke on food after eating so fast when she is going to ask something important. Shaking near the doorway, Tokiko goes to her daughter and grabs her shoulder. She happily shouts, “Are you..pregnant!?” Towako is shock by that. Tokiko happily congratulates her and she’ll be preparing red bean rice to celebrate. Towako tries to tell her mother that they haven’t did it yet, but Tokiko dismisses that and says that Towako likes to eat sour food, she is showing signs of pregnancy [<- vomiting] and weren’t they [Towako and Yuuga] always together at night. Towako thinks that they do sleep together in one room and sometimes in one bed but..
Towako tells her mother that she hasn’t done any painful thing. Tokiko happily tells her daughter that there are also situations wherein it doesn’t hurt at all and their love has given birth to a new life. While Tsubaki just watch quietly at the side and Tokiko happily clapping, Towako starts to believe that she is really pregnant. =P Soon, Yuuga, togther with Nobu, peeks in and asks what is going on since they are very noisy. Yuuga suddenly had ‘twilight zone/out of this world’ type of feeling when Tokiko congratulates him for being a father. While Yuuga is still in a state of shock, Tokiko looks at the family scroll and says that if one is pregnant, according to so and so rule, they are to go to some Inu[dog] island to pray. It is located in an island near Hokkaido. Soon, the couple are facing some dog-inspired shrine. While Towako is happily musing about everything being dog decorated, Yuuga angrily calls out to her and says that he doesn’t recall that thing ever happening. After a pause, Towako says that is so, she got carried away by what her mother said and to protest is futile. There is a scene of Tokiko immediately sending the two off. Yuuga calls her stupid. Towako angrily shouts why she is stupid when she also thought that it was possible and he shouldn’t have also come. Yuuga shouts back that an ordinary person cannot resist the actions of her family and they should go back. They go to the port and it turns out that there is no ship. Towako tells him that it is one ship trip per day and there is no signal on her cellphone. Yuuga gloomily mutters that her family really likes to be in isolated places. Thinking that Yuuga also wants a baby, Towako happily tells him that it isn’t bad for they can just pray for a smooth birth. She thinks that they will be doing that as well as going sightseeing, and this time, they can definitely make a baby. She is really hopeful that things will turn out okay since they were nervous before on their honeymoon but right now, their love for each other is deeper. She happily holds his hands and tells puzzed Yuuga, ‘gambatte’.
Then, a shrine kid apologizes for making them wait and escorts them to the ceremony that was prepared for them. Towako wonders if it is alright not to tell the kid that she isn’t pregnant. The kid then tells them that the vicious looking dog with a baby bib is their ‘dog god’. The kid tells them to lower their head to the dog in prayer. They refuse since it seems that they are going to be bitten by it. The kid tries to assure them it is alright even if the dog is already biting his hand. ^^; While they were wondering what to do and Towako thinking that the dog is angry at her, Towako’s monkey jumps out and faces the dog. The dog runs away and the monkey goes back to Towako. Towako apologizes to him. Yuuga comments that it ought to be alright since dogs have an instinct on how to get back home. [<- as mentioned by Nanpa from Koibana!; this is a comment by the author not mine.] The kid gets angry at them for bringing an animal in the shrine and it is a monkey, the nemesis of their god dog. He shouts that they no longer have any right to do the ceremony there. Towako is flustered about this but Yuuga is okay with this and they would help find the dog for it cannot really go that far since this place is an island. He tells the kid that Towako isn’t pregnant anyway. Towako is shock when Yuuga mutters that he also doesn’t want to have a kid. Towako confronts him about this since he told her that he wants a baby. Yuuga tells her that he meant that other thing. Blushing really red, Yuuga finally confesses to her that it isn’t about making a baby but doing that erotic/lewd stuff and guys are like that. This made Towako blush really red, too. She is totally disappointed with him that she exclaims that she cannot believe that he would dare say that in this place. While Yuuga is shouting back at her, the kid shouts for them to shut up for bringing in their quarrel in the shrine. He tells them that they won’t be leaving the island unless they find the dog. While they were searching for the dog, Towako cries for she wants to go sightseeing and at night.. She blushes upon remembering Yuuga telling her that he wants to do erotic stuff. She thinks that he is quite impure for thinking of that kind of thing while they were in the shrine. Suddenly, they see the dog in front of them. They quickly chase after it. It is running into the cave when it suddenly stopped. Towako couldn’t suddenly stop [probably because she had a hard time walking in her geta, wooden clogs] that she falls right into the cave. Yuuga grabs her but he ends up being pulled down. Looking up the hole, Towako is happy that the dog is alright while Yuuga comments that it is quite a deep cave.
Catching the dog, the kid tells them that they are useless for he went there after hearing the dog bark. Yuuga tells them not to talk about that and just help them out. They are surprise when the kid tells them that there are no other people in that place except for him and he cannot do it alone. He starts to leave them since it is already feeding time for the doggie. He then tells them that he’ll get help from the others who will come during the night shift and there is supposedly ‘something’ that comes out of there. Towako got scared about it. After the kid left, they wonder if they should go through the tunnel there but they might get lost if they recklessly go in. Yuuga sits and leans on the wall. He says that they should just sleep. Towako goes to him but she trips again and falls on him. Yuuga helps clean up her dirty face then they look at each other. Yuuga hugs her and asks if she thinks that doing that is obscene. Yuuga tells her that he only simply wanted to touch her more and is it strange for him to want to do that. Towako is flustered over this. She asks if he always hasn’t thought of having a baby. Yuuga confesses that it isn’t about not wanting to, but more on being very afraid since he doesn’t have any memories regarding his father. He doesn’t understand about ‘becoming a father’ so he doesn’t have confidence about having a child, and he doesn’t know what to do when that time comes. Towako tells him not to say that because of course he doesn’t know since he isn’t a father yet. Yuuga sweatdrops and tells her that isn’t what he meant to say. Towako tells him that she also doesn’t know if she will be a good mother, and she doesn’t have confidence either, so she thinks that everyone are like that. Yuuga just mutters that perhaps, that is so. Towako says it is true and they definitely have no problem. Yuuga seems mesmerized by her that he comments that she is really so easy-going. Yuuga decides to drop the topic and says that they should go to sleep. Towako looks at Yuuga and thinks that Yuuga has always been thinking about this but then, they shouldn’t hurry since they are still studying. She plans to wait for Yuuga. She looks at sleeping Yuuga then kisses him on the cheek.
Outside the cave, the kid comments that the dog is always bothered about the cave even before those two fell in it. After kissing Yuuga, Towako couldn’t believe what she did and she also wants to touch him a lot more. She begins to realize what Yuuga has been feeling. Suddenly, there is something barking from the tunnel. Yuuga is awake when Towako becomes afraid. They got scared because it might be the something the kid mentioned. Then, they see a dirty dog with a baby bib. They think it isn’t scary, but rather, it looks pitiful. They comment that it is like the dog in the shrine but older. The dog angrily barks and grabs Towako’s bag. It runs off so they have to chase after it. Then, they find a ruined altar and it seems the dog is digging nearby. Then, it slightly collapses and reveals a lot of ema [wooden plates] with wishes of couples for their babies. Towako praises the dog for guarding it even if it has collapsed. Holding some of the ema-s, Towako happily tells Yuuga to look at them for no matter how far people lived and no matter when, they all wished for their babies’ happiness. Yuuga looks at the tokens and sees the wishes of some guys about wanting to do their best to become a good father and have a happy family. Just then, the kid, with some adults, their dog and Towako’s monkey, has found them. The kid is surprise that there are two similar dog gods. Soon, they learn that older dog is the dog’s father. It turns out that the older dog is guarding over the ema-s that where put on that shrine but half a year ago, it collapsed that they made a new one. One month later, the older dog disappeared and they didn’t know where it went. It turns out that it went to that cave to watch over those ema-s that had collapsed below. The father[?] of the kid thinks that the dog is just after those ema-s. Towako corrects them that it isn’t just those ema-s for what’s important for it are the wishes/prayers written on those ema-s.
At night, in their room, Towako says that she is tired from all the running around today but it is great that they found those ema-s and they were forgiven so they can pray in that shrine again. She then feels that it is regretful that they can’t pray yet until the ema-s/altar is fully restored again and they have to return home tomorrow. She then remembers that Yuuga isn’t interested in that. She begins to feel depressed that it seems that they aren’t thinking of the same future but she shakes her head and tells herself that Yuuga did smile at her in the afternoon and not wanting a child is probably what he thinks only for now. While she is hoping that one day Yuuga would want to have a child, Towako is surprised when he tells her that it is okay for them to come back there when she is really with child. Yuuga says that a lot of things that can be a big deal [now] yet it can become nothing at all [later on] but since they are still studying, they cannot have a child right now. He smiles at her and says one day, they will. Towako is teary-eyed and happy over this since he was thinking of her feelings. Yuuga asks Towako if they are going to sleep now. Towako says that it is still 8 o’ clock. Yuuga teasingly asks her if she wants to continue from afternoon. To Towako’s embarrassment, Yuuga knows that she has kissed him while he is supposedly sleeping. She quickly hides in the blanket. Yuuga then says that he is only kidding but he is really happy that she took the initiative to touch him. “Even if I really want.. to do a lot more things with you, but like this is already enough. I can wait, always until you say that it is okay..” Yuuga closes the light and says that they should sleep now for they are going for sight-seeing tomorrow. Then, blushing Towako sits up and says that there is no need for him to wait, he can do it [now] since their feelings are mutual. Then, within herself, Towako cannot believe that she just said that and won’t Yuuga think that she is some loose girl. She is shock when Yuuga yawns and tells her not to force herself since he can endure it. He explains that he said a lot of strange things today and even if it is what he really feels but there is no need for Towako to think too much about it. He kept on saying about wanting to endure even if Towako tries to help him that she is already saying that it is okay.
In the end, Yuuga lies down and says that he is tired so good night. Towako becomes furious over his reaction for she was going dokidoki already and he just falls asleep. Towako is going on a tantrum with her pillow when she notices that Yuuga is really sleeping. She realizes that maybe he is really very tired for suddenly being whisk to that place. She then laments why she is always like that, being rash on something she has decided on and she is giving Yuuga problems. She begins to wonder if she has been saying all those stuff because of what Yuuga said during the day. She is grateful that Yuuga wasn’t serious with the stuff that she said and she decides to be cautious in being blunt with her words. The next day, Yuuga asks Towako if she wants some kakigori [shaved ice dessert]. Towako is moping at the side that Yuuga asks what she is depressed about. She just mutters that she is trying her best not to talk too much. Thinking that she doesn’t want any, Yuuga goes to the store to buy himself a kakigori. Looking at him, Towako wonders if Yuuga was sleepy and forgot all about yesterday since he is acting normally. She then overhears a couple of girls gossiping about how gorgeous Yuuga looks. As Towako quickly goes to Yuuga, the girls laments that even so, most of the people there already have wives. Towako suddenly grabs Yuuga’s sleeve that it surprised Yuuga. Yuuga asks if she wants some kakigori but she declines. Towako is surprised over what she did unconsciously. Towako finds herself staring at Yuuga’s lips and thinks that they haven’t kissed yesterday. Yuuga once again assumes that she wants the dessert that Towako exclaims why he kept on bringing that up. Towako starts to become confused over what she is thinking. Yuuga then starts to complain that it is actually hot now, compared to yesterday and he should remove his t-shirt from the yukata. Remembering those two girls complimenting Yuuga’s nice body, Towako exclaims for him not to remove it. Yuuga asks why. Blushing Towako blurts out, “Because your body built is good, I don’t want other people to see it..” Towako is then embarrassed over this since Yuuga and the other couples are looking at her. The other couples then comment that they were newly married. Yuuga is also embarrassed that he asks her what she is saying. Towako also wonders what she is saying. Yuuga mutters that he is going to be moved [dokidoki] when he sees her like that, but he assures her that he’ll comply with what he said before – will wait for her. Towako is flustered for she already told him that there is no need for that since she wants to be with him, hold his hair, caress it down to his shoulder, hug him and kiss him..hold his hand. She is about to hold his hand but she hesitated. Soon, it is time for them to go home. The father of the shrine kid assures them of fixing everything by the time they come back. Towako wishes them ‘gambatte’ and hopes to go back there soon. Towako thinks that she wanted to deepen her feelings with Yuuga there but she ended up acting really strange that she did a lot of embarrassing things.
Yuuga asks her to hold out her hand. She did so and he gives her a phone strap with an ema on it. She asks why and he tells her that he just bought it from the souvenir shop because it seems that she is listless today and they weren’t able to pray at the shrine. It is also an apology for not doing anything to her yesterday. Towako blushes for he actually remembered. Towako tells him that they should also buy one for him. Yuuga says that he knows that she is going to say that. He shows his cellphone to her and attached to it is a phone strap similar to hers. Towako is really touched by what he did. She wonders what he thinks of her for going all those embarrassing things. Yuuga asks her if she has already cheered up. Towako happily says of course, and she is also going to put it on her cellphone. She thanks him and says that she will treasure it. She felt that her troubles had gone away. They arrive and to the disappointment of her parents, who bought lots of toys, Towako isn’t pregnant. Because Yuuga said that he wants to wait, Towako decides to act normally but she ends up avoiding him in order not to think of doing those things to him. She believes that it will be more lovey-dovey later on if she does this. Then, in class, Reimi is irritated as to why Towako seems to be troubled when she has a gorgeous husband, went on a trip with him and stayed in a lovers’ suite. Towako couldn’t tell them that she is controlling herself not to touch Yuuga. Reimi whines about wanting to go on a trip and tells Saho that where Towako brought her before isn’t considered a trip. Yuuga’s friends say that is a good idea and how about they all go on a trip. They suggest about going to Saho’s mountain villa. Towako is overjoyed over this and volunteers to lend her plane to go there. Yuuga is happy that Towako is happy. Yona [<- invented name based on kanji, it is either that or something like Yina], the light haired friend of Yuuga, says that he would want to invite his girlfriend else it will be quite troublesome. They realize that they will have an excess of one girl. Towako suggests about inviting Himeno or Setsuna but Yuuga refuses since it will be quite troublesome. Reimi asks Saho about inviting some guy she is on into. Saho says that there is none. Yasumochi asks Reimi to make some bento. Saho then looks at Towako and Yuuga who were talking with each other. She looks at Towako then looks flustered [<- something like jealous] Towako happily thinks that she can deepen her relationship with Yuuga and everyone else, and she can be natural with Yuuga even if everyone else are there. “So, I fundamentally never thought, never imagined that it would suddenly become our important day.”
This couple is quite sweet and I like how understanding they can be of each other = do not have really long quarrels. I think it is quite hilarious when they all thought that Towako is pregnant. Hehe, I find their expressions really amusing. I thought that it would have been funnier if Towako’s parents harass Yuuga as to why he didn’t touch their daughter yet like ‘do you have a problem with my daughter, is there anything wrong with her’ type of stuff. =P It seems that after going to that trip, their situations have become reversed. Towako is itching to do it with him and he kept on thinking that she is forcing herself about it ^^;;

[FT: Faster than A Kiss 41 is out and it is amazing. I love how Fumino seduced Kazuma who is pretending to be a butler. Lol, I almost thought that they are going to do it when she is unbuttoning his shirt. ^^; I'm almost finished with 4 chapters of Ojousama wa Oyomesama so that will be up first.]
Hehe, back to back vampire series teasers =P No, it wasn’t deliberate. Thanks to Maryann and PSDOL, I have seen Vampire Knight 68raws. Yay, I’m so happy that Kaname is indeed doing his plans-whatever with Ruka and Kain. Ruka even takes off her coat to cover Kaname’s disfigured hand that is holding the hunter weapon. Aw..^-^ Ruka seems to mention about Hanabusa and Aidou papa. Kaname mentions about Aidou papa turning into ash and Hanabusa + Yuuki witnessing it. While Hanabusa mourns over the ashes, Yuuki seems to look stunned over what had happened. Kaien says that they stay there and he is going to chase after Kaname. After some more thinking, Yuuki runs off to the woods where Kaien is but of course, Kaname and others aren’t there anymore. It seems that Yuuki is frantic about something then while Kaien tries to calm her down, she sprouts bloody butterfly wings at her back. She flaps wings, Kaien’s face got wounded. Then, she calms down as whatever Kaien is telling her, got through her, I think. Soon, Yuuki is handcuffed and Kaien seems to tell her about the vampire group being in chaos and the focus would be on the important people. What I don’t understand is why he is mentioning ‘engagement/wedding contract’. Ah, was she engaged to Kaname? Yuuki seems to accept whatever he said and she is somewhat worried about Hanabusa. And, I think the title of this chapter is ‘why’ since Yuuki is muttering the same ‘why’ words as she rides in the prison car. [I checked a Jap online dictionary and it looks the same ^^] At the hunter association, it seems that Zero are doing some paperwork and he talks with Kaito. It seems to be about some ‘danger’ and ‘complicated’. He is probably referring to those shadowy guys outside. Kaito also mentions about how dangerous the Kurans are. I don’t understand Zero’s reply but whatever it is, it seems that Yuuki, Hanabusa and Kaien are headed back to the association. So, Yuuki x Zero fans can probably rejoice in the next chapter. As for Yuuki’s wing/wind power, I’m still not putting high hopes on that since she has a pretty nice Artemis weapon and is still useless with it. =P I would like an irony of Kaname using Artemis to fight against the hunters who would most probably be after him. As always, regarding raws, this is just guesswork and just wait for the scanlations for details and clarifications.
BW’s Amyangel19910323 had posted the Japanese volume 5 of Kurobara Alice that is made of chapters 20-22. Since it is Japanese, I can only give you a brief guesswork of what had happened especially since there are a lot of dialogues. ^^; Kouya goes into the cafe. Reiji comments that like Kai, Kouya has a mole under his eye. Kouya kept on looking at Alice who is playing the piano. Alice sees him and becomes really tense. Kouya mentions of the piece that she is playing and starts asking a lot of questions. Dimitri tells Kouya something that made him leave. Dimitri and Alice are talking as to who Kouya is in Alice’s life and it is already two years since then. It is only now when Kai realizes that Kouya is the guy whom Alice called out before kissing him in her sleep before. It seems that Alice is really bothered how Kouya became like a totally different person. The next day, there is another conversation between Dimitri and Alice. I think Alice is thinking of whether Dimitri considers her being her or those romantic stuff of almost kissing is directed at Agnieska. Later on, at the cafe, Kouya goes there again and sits in front of Alice who is reading some books. He continues to ask her questions like her name, age, background, etc which makes Alice agitated and nervous. Then, at night, another lengthy conversation between Kai and Alice about probably Kouya, being guys, vampires, etc. Dimitri sees them but he just walks away unnoticed. The next day, Alice finds herself in front of the school and reminisces of her life before. Kouya calls her ‘sensei’ and she turns around. Another round of talk and Alice is getting nervous by the minute since I think Kouya is becoming convinced that she is Azusa. She tries to leave but Kouya grabs her hand and he is asking for some sort of answer. There are a lot of questioning, etc but it seems that Alice slips by calling him Ikushima [surname] but it turns out that his parents have already divorced and he now has a different surname. Alice cannot answer something he asked and she promptly faints. [<- heat stroke?] Of course, he catches her before she falls on the ground. Later on, the twins seem to tell Dimitri that Alice is gone. Dimitri seems to be pretty calm and wants Alice to choose between them and her ex-lover.
Alice wakes up to find herself in Kouya’s apartment. Kouya tells her about his past and his mother’s divorce. Then, he talked about the accident and it seems he has been a bum/neet since then. Alice seems to tries to convince him to let go of the past but it seems to be to no avail. He seems to believe that without Azusa, living on is like hell. Alice prepares to leave but they still talk a lot that finally, Alice breaks down and I guess it pretty much reveals who she really is. Kouya kisses her. Alice suddenly remembers Dimitri. She tries to tell him to let ‘Azusa’ go but Kouya keeps on kissing her and she remembers the time she as Azusa is kissing Kouya in the rain. It is night. Kai is worried about Alice but it seems that Dimitri tells him that Alice is alright for he has sent his dragonfly to check on her. Dimitri also tells him of the possibility of some other guy having Alice, I think. At the kitchen, Reiji looks dark as he cuts an orange or some citrus fruit in half. I think it could be a symbolism since the next few pages is Kouya having sex with Alice. I’m not sure if it is mutual though since Kouya is holding her hand down. Then, Alice wakes up, takes a shower and leaves. Alice returns home with everyone worried about her..okay, it seems that Kai is the one who is most worried. She tells them what happened but seems to stop short about the sex part. She assures them she is alright and goes to her room. Kai brings some food to Alice and after some talk, she is tearfully telling him a lot of things regarding Kouya. Basically, Kai is becoming Alice’s new ‘buddy’ in place of Leo. It seems that Kai had said some sort of comforting words to Alice. Meanwhile, Dimitri is moping in bed and glances at that sword pendant on the bed post. At the cafe, while preparing food, Reiji seems to be depressed about something as if he isn’t feeling well but Kai assures him that everything will be alright. Kouya goes there again but even if all his outbursts about Alice being his girlfriend, it doesn’t budge the twins to pity him. After they closed shop, Kouya follows them home.
At home, Alice try to keep things as they were and it seems that she is suggesting something fun which surprises the guys. They were disrupted when Kouya arrives and starts asking for his girlfriend. It seems that Dimitri said something about that passionate guy or being sacrcastic. Before Dimitri can face Kouya, Alice looks stern and probably says that she’ll deal with it on her own. She heads out of the house with Kouya and Alice coldly rebuffs hot-headed Kouya. It seems that she called him a dead man living. She goes in and probably saying it is okay now but Kouya suddenly comes in, and probably blurts out in retaliation about the sex since the guys look pretty much stunned. This made Kai punches Kouya and shout that he is the lowest of the low. Kouya is then driven out of the house. Alice is really nervous and even if she calls out to Dimitri who just kept walking upstairs. Then, there is another long talk between Alice and Kai who is probably comforting her. Meanwhile, Reiji is feeling unwell as the recent events kept on repeating in his head. He then remembers saying something to Kai about believing. He begins to wonder if this means that he is starting to gain his memories. The next day, Kai is saying something about queen [the food fits for a queen?] to Alice who is eating the food he cooked. Reiji starts to feel unwell again as he looks at both Kai and Alice. He recalls again the conversation between him and Kai from the past. Then, there is a gun shot. Reiji is shock as he recalls one of them shooting the other with a rifle. [Sorry, I don’t know who shot who ^^;] Reiji starts trembling as he looks at Kai’s smiling face. He quickly turns around and bumps Dimitri’s shoulder as he heads upstairs.
Alice sees Dimitri and seems to thank him for everything that has happened so far. I’m not sure but something seems to have triggered within Dimitri that he started acting cold towards Alice. I think it is because she mentioned Agnieska. Alice can only oblige to what he wanted when he started calling her Agnieska and for her to come to him. Just when they are about to kiss, Dimitri said something, probably about comparing herself to Agnieska. Dimitri suddenly slaps her hard that she falls on the floor. Kai goes to Alice’s side to comfort/help while Dimitri is still saying some things. Whatever it is, Dimitri is so furious that he starts to pack his bags for a trip to Hokkaido. Hehe, he probably plans cool his head off before he does something anything rash. There is a mention of contract but I’m not sure if it is business contract to be signed in Hokkaido as an alibi or Dimitri is freeing Alice of their contract. Alice goes out to the gate to talk with Dimitri. It seems that Dimitri soften a bit so from being angry, he looks somewhat sad since Alice starts crying as she is telling him something. Dimitri keeps on saying something as Alice tries to protest to him by calling his name. In the end, he kisses her, short and long, and then he hugs her. He then probably bids her goodbye and left. It is raining and Kai worriedly goes out to the gate to comfort crying Alice who is still standing by the gate. Kai hugs her in comfort. Within the house, Reiji is looking dark at them from the window. That’s it. It is probably the twins’ arc in the next issue and I have a feeling that when Dimitri comes back, we might have one less twin. ^^; Actually, maybe all of the cast would be dead by the time this series ends =P I wonder though if Kouya has really given up on Alice/Azusa. He can be quite persistent and it is because of that, he managed to get Azusa before.

And, it is that time again. ^^ Today is the 8th anniversary for this blog though it isn’t necessarily 8 years of writing summaries =P Of course, it’s time to give thanks to those who make it possible ^-^ First of all, I would like to thank God for all His blessings and everything that He has given me. I would also like to thank my family for providing for me. Thanks to those people who uploaded the scans and free web stuff to host all of this stuff. And most of all, I would want to thank YOU, my dear readers for reading my summaries especially those who write their thanks, insights, etc. on the tagboard. It makes it feel less silly for writing all of these stuff and the satisfaction of a ‘thanks’, comments = you read it and ‘job well done’ means a lot to me. ^_^ I would also like to thank those who link back and spread the word around. I’m about to reach my 3 million hits with Mangafox still tops the list of referrals. Wow, it is really beyond my dream of having just a million hit website. Everything is all possible through God and everyone so once again, THANK YOU VERY MUCH! ^-^ *giving out virtual dimsum as thanks*
It seems that things are changing a bit lately. I do not know if it is temporary or permanent. Chinese scans are coming out really slow these past few months. As I mentioned before, I’m wondering if it is because people are busy, not interested anymore or, probably started to not make the release out so soon so that people would still buy the magazines and help the manga industry. For this month, I know that in Taiwan or China, they are currently in exams. Anyway, just like what is always mentioned in the manga I summarize, I try not to think of the ‘what if’ (<- pessimistic = my bad habit) not just of those issues, but also some things in real life. I’ll just have to do what I can do today and believe that no matter what God will be there with me (and you) from past, present and to the unknown future. Speaking of positive influences of manga, I got envious of Stardust★Wink’s Hinata and because of other circumstances, I finally got myself enrolled in an art class. ^-^ Hehe, I always wanted to do that, under a certain art teacher I have seen on the television years ago. As in a quote says, “No dream comes true until you wake up and go to work.” So, let’s hope for another fruitful and blessed year together, as we get enjoy and be entertained by our favorite (new, old and ending) mangas series ^_^

Then, when the cherry blossoms bloom, Dimitri took Ayako out. Ayako blushed when he asked if she likes him. Ayako tried to say as siblings, of course, she does. Ayako felt that she was in a dream when Dimitri held her hand that, she doesn’t want to wake up even if it was a nightmare. Dimitri asked her if she can be Maximilian’s bride for one night. He explained to her about the situation and asked her to sacrifice her life for them. By the way, after breeding, the woman will live for a month before dying from giving birth. While Ayako looked shock, Dimitri changed it into asking her to refuse them and forget about them, just live a happy life since she is important to him compared to others. Trembling, Ayako asked what will happen to Maximilian if she didn’t do it. Dimitri said that they would have to find some other girls to do it, and hopefully, some special girl who would agree to it. In the end, Ayako accepted it because she likes Dimitri and wants to help him. While crying, Dimitri hugged her and promised her that he will always be with her after the breeding until the end. And, Dimitri sealed the deal with a kiss. Soon, it is the day. Before Maximilian leaves, he kept on asking Dimitri for a promise that Dimitri will breed. Dimitri is non-committal to it and just said that, one day he will. Maximilian also warned him of his seeds. Maximilian asked him again about breeding that Dimitri told him that he will definitely breed. With that, Maximilian told him that he is the third person who is important to him, Bradley and his lover. Then, Maximilian went to Ayako’s house for tea. While having tea, Ayako asked him a question which she assured him will not change her mind about this. She asked if they treated her kindly ever since before just because of what they are to do today. Maximilian told her no, Dimitri didn’t thought of using her for him to breed before. Maximilian then started to blab on Dimitri is just being a natural playboy and doing things that pretty much shocks him. This somewhat relieves Ayako. Maximilian apologizes to her but Ayako said it is alright for she likes him since he always tells the truth whereas Dimitri is an expert in lying. Ayako claimed that compared to getting married, she is happier this way. Maximilian asked her why she is trembling. Ayako said that it is because Dimitri will be more hurt about this since he will lose Maximilian who is always with him and he would be alone. She started to cry and asked if she can really be of help to Dimitri. Maximilian hugged her and said that he is a very happy vampire. So, like what happened before, Dimitri watched out the window as the two had sex. Thus, the diary ended.
After that day of April 15th, there are no more entries that Alice wondered why Ayako didn’t write about that month together with Dimitri. Alice goes down to see the others but she cannot quite face Dimitri after reading the diary and especially since he was wearing a kimono. After going back to her room, Alice plans to return the books to the storage. She flips through the pages, wondering how Ayako’s last month was spent. She then sees some writing after some blank pages. On it, it is written, “Ah, I’m so happy. Dimitri-sama has really become mine.” Alice looks surprised as she wonders what Dimitri did to Ayako. Then, the door bell rings. It is Toko who looks unwell. She tells the twins who opened the door that Leo told her to go there. Then, she promptly faints. At the back of her neck is the rose tattoo. The rest can be considered as teaser. Dimitri is surprise to see the tattoo. He quickly carries Toko to the sofa and tells her that she will be alright. Coming down stairs, Alice looks surprise at how close Dimitri is talking with Toko. She breaks a glass from the shock of seeing Dimitri kissing Toko on the lips. It seems that after Leo left them, Leo went to Toko and had sex with him. It seems that Alice is getting flustered over Dimitri always kissing Toko. [I think it is like passing the insects of her for nourishment or something since she is supposed to be dying or it is like being a queen bee.] Then, Dimitri gets jealous upon seeing Alice and Reiji holding hands. It ended up in a fight between Dimitry and Alice. Dimitri had to kneel to her and pacify her about something. Then, Kai talks with weak Toko who is still on the sofa..it ends with them kissing. [Edit: I think he ends up being a substitute to Dimitri to keep the peace in the house.] There is a short flashback of Toko coughing blood and dying when Leo came to her and have sex with the assurance that she’ll live 30 more days. Soon, Toko is well enough to talk with Alice who practically left the guys on their own. Then, there are a lot more talking, kissing, and Toko finishing her writing. Soon, a lot of days pass away until one day, Toko looks out that window at the sala where Dimitri is always looking out and suddenly start crying. Her rose tattoo is almost encircling her neck. That night, with the tattoo totally encircled her neck, Toko seems to bid the guys farewell. She takes Alice with him to the wooded area. Alice is shock to see Toko’s hand become like a tree branch and from that rose tattoo, Toko’s head is severed. She became a tree with cocoon on the branches. Then, the cocoons burst to release butterflies. Dimitri goes to her and tries to talk things to her. He then tries to kiss her but she pushes him away. [<-Something about using sweet words while laughing inside?] Anyway, Alice heads to the cafe. The twins are worried about her but Alice claims that she is alright. Outside, Kouya passes by and looks at the cafe.
Hehe, so in like less than four chapters, we have two dead girls from breeding. I have a feeling that there will be more deaths later on. Who would have thought that Leo did breed before dying. =P I was thinking of the possibility of one of the butterflies going to Kouya but then, his neck is clear so.. Anyway, I guess it will be new love vs old love for both Dimitri and Alice in the future chapters. I wonder if the twins would have a bigger role in this series or just there. ^^;

At the helipad, Shinnosuke gets ready to get in the helicopter when Mei calls out to him. He gives Mei the book about the girl who became a dragon. Mei accepts it and says that she knows of the book since she read it when she was young. Shinnosuke asks her why she thinks the girl saved that village which has driven her away. Mei looks surprised then casually tells him that it is because there is someone whom she likes in the village. Shinnosuke is shock to learn that. Mei says that is what she thinks, and Izumi wants to make this country into a place where one can live comfortably and she will be in that kind of work in the future. Shinnosuke looks surprised by this. Soon, Mei watches as the helicopter flies away. Narration: “..then, I wish, that in the future, I can, more or less, also help..” Then, there is a scene of Miruku shouting at Damien that she thinks that Daimon is manlier than him. Damien shouts for her to depart from that guy [Daimon] whom he doesn’t recognizes [for some reason that I cannot quite read ^^;] Another scene is Aoyama telling somewhat bored Rika that Irrfan sent a lot of gifts and asks her to choose what she likes. Mei happily walks then meets with Tami. Tami kisses her on the forehead and gives her a small bouquet of flowers. Tami, together with Kanzaki, waves her goodbye. Mei thanks Tami for the flowers. She smells the flowers and happily sings back to the Shadow dorm. Mei calls out that she’s back. Rihito welcomes her and tells her that he has already prepared her tea. While enjoying her tea, Mei looks out the window and tells Rihito that she feels really happy right now. She stretches and says that it is time to visit Kento. She says that she heard that it turned out to be just a cold, and Kento really gave her a scare. Rihito tells her to come back early because her school vacation’s assignments had piled up like a mountain. Mei says okay and leaves. Rihito then looks sad. He then remembers Mei saying that she feels really happy right now. [<- maybe happy so want to see Kento?] Rihito then hears someone saying, “Hopefully, a part of that happiness can be put together with Hongo family’s happiness, wherein one happiness is added to happiness.” Rihito looks at the side and sees two guys in suits. Meanwhile, at the hospital, irritated Kento has to listen to Mei rave on and on about how cool and perfect Rihito is. Kento looks at Mei’s happy and satisfied face. He blushes when she looks at him. He then glances at her lips. Mei is surprised when Kento quickly hides underneath the blanket.
Mei asks him what’s up, and isn’t he feeling well. She becomes irritated when Kento tells her not to touch him, just when she is about to do so, out of concern. Mei somewhat calms down yet still concerned after Kento pleads her to not touch him. He asks, “..About that..Mei..you..what do you think..of me..?” Mei is surprised by this that she says that Kento is Kento. Kento says, “..is that so..that time..even if I kissed you..you also didn’t have any [other way of] regarding me..” Mei blushes and says that, at that time, she doesn’t have time to think of some.. Kento interrupts and says, “..but I, put all of my feelings [in it]..as if my life depended on it..” Mei just mutters his name. Kento says, “..I’ve decided..to go back..” Mei asks go back where. Kento replies, “..Shikoku. I do not want [to live] this kind of life again.. because, even without me, it seems that you are also very happy..” Mei is surprised by that. While trying to tell him that it isn’t so, Kento tells her, “It is enough for you to have only Rihito.” Mei becomes flustered and angry. She grabs the blanket and shouts, “Are you an idiot! Could it be that because you are on a sick leave, you are being difficult with?! If you really want to go, then just go on ahead and do what you want! Let me say that you are really not like a man. Look at me, then try saying that to me once again!” She is startled when Kento stands up and shouts at her, “Didn’t I told you not to touch me..! If I told it to you in your face, you would once again change the topic! *flustered-sad* It..hurts too much, for you.. I’m just one of your numerous friends.. I cannot bear it anymore.. so, I will disappear from your sight, goodbye.” Mei looks surprised by this. Back at the Shadow dorm, Rihito glares at Yang Xue and Xiao Qing, and says that every time, they are very rude or could it be that it is the Yang’s style to just come into the rooms of other people without permission. Yang tells them that they have a right to be there. Rihito asks if it is because they are candidates to be Mei’s fiance and butler. Rihito tells them if that is so then they got in the wrong door. Yang tells him that it is a lie that they are from some affluent family in China. Rihito asks them what they mean. Xiao Qing says, “We were dispatched by Hongo Kintaro-sama as the real judges in the duel/s of choosing the fiance. We are now to announce the outcome of the duel. We have determined that the one who is most suitable to be Miss Mei’s partner is Kento Shibata Redford-sama. Shibata Rihito, you are also dismissed. From today on, we will be Miss Mei’s butlers.”
Chapter 97: Somewhat bowing down and closing his eyes, Kento says, “I’ve..already had enough, I cannot bear it..only you..[treating me like] one of your many friends..so, like this, I’m saying goodbye..” [<- it is translated differently than in chapter 96 ^^;] Somewhat clenching her fist, Mei asks, “Do you really..think [you] are just a friend..?” Kento opens his eyes in surprise and asks, “..what..?” Already at the door, Mei angrily shouts, “Forget it, the kind of person you are Shibata! Whether it is Shikoku or wherever else it is, you can go wherever you want to!” Mei slams the door. At the hallway, Nezu is telling Fujiko that it seems that those people aren’t really from the Yang family. They were surprised when Mei suddenly comes out of the room and runs off without greeting them. They peek inside to see Kento bowing his head to his bended knees. The two seems to realize what had happened. Mei continues to run away while thinking Kento is an idiot. Mei arrives in her room to see Rihito with Yang and Xiao Qing who were also dressed up as butlers. The other two greet Mei. Wondering why they are there, Mei asks if they come regarding the duel. Xiao Qing smiles and apologizes for reporting late. He and Yang bow to her and says, “We were sent by Hongo Kintaro as Miss Mei’s new butlers.” Xiao Qing introduces himself as Xiang* while Yang introduces himself as Fei*. [*Those are, of course, invented names. Without the raws, I have no way of knowing how they are really called, if it is still Chinese or Japanese. There are multiple ways of calling them in Japanese using those kanji so I’ll stick to the Chinese for now since, they originally introduced themselves as from China.] Mei exclaims to Rihito as to what this is all about. Rihito tells her that it is a lie when they said that they are heirs of the Yang family and also about being candidates for her fiance. Mei asks why, and what’s this about new butlers when she already has Rihito. She is surprised when Xiang smiles and tells her that Rihito has been dismissed but of course, he is only dismissed from being Mei’s butler. Since he is very talented and outstanding, Rihito ought to be retained in Hongo Financial Group but he will be undertaking some other duty.
Mei tensely asks Rihito if this is true. Rihito says that those guys are just saying those things as they please. Xiang says no, it is Kintaro-sama’s idea. “Other than that, here is another important thing [to report], Miss Mei.. This time, regarding Miss Mei’s wedding partner, we have already decided and chosen Marquis Kento Shibata Redford. Congratulations.” Mei is surprised by this. Then, she gets angry that she shouts what this is about and it isn’t up to them to decide on her affairs so get out. Before they leave, Xiang tells her that they will go [for now], but what they said is just what is in Mei’s heart. “With regards to Miss Mei’s happiness, we thought of the situation, and with this decision, we think that it will definitely remove Miss Mei’s worries. *looking at Rihito* Besides, Shibata Rihito, you also definitely..” Then, the two left. Later on, Mei and Rihito contact Mei’s grandfather on the laptop computer via videophone. Kintaro is in bed with a fat cat on top. [That cat reminds me of some cartoon before..Inspector Gadget, iirc =P] Kintaro tells them that it is true and other than him, no one else knows about it so it is a secret. Saying that they are candidates as her fiance is a lie. Mei asks why he did that. Kintaro says that it is fair decision based on her feelings, and it is for his beloved granddaughter’s chosen husband. While staring at Rihito who looks a bit flustered and dark, Kintaro says that it is fair to this entangled love affair. Kintaro comments that it is interesting [/amusing] that those guys chose Kento. Mei exclaims that it isn’t a bit amusing. Kintaro says that she defeated all of the fiances he has chosen for her and only Kento is left. Mei tries to say that is because.. when Rihito interrupts and says that regarding the selection of Mei’s would-be husband, it should be Kintaro-sama nor should it be anyone else [who would decided] but it should be Mei herself. Also, regarding as to who she wants to be her butler, it is the same. Mei looks at him and somewhat blushes.
Kintaro says is that so, Rihito isn’t satisfied with those other two replacement butlers but that cannot be helped because if his younger brother becomes the master, there would be a lot of things that he will find hard to do. Mei exclaims at her grandfather for saying that. Kintaro says, “Then, let me ask you, Mei, do you like Rihito?” Mei blushes and is surprised by that question. Rihito looks at Mei. Kintaro asks, “If you like him, then it is also okay.” Mei couldn’t answer as she remembers Kento telling her that it is enough for her to have Rihito. Rihito looks somewhat downcast [, I think] when Kintaro continues to say, “What is it, can’t you answer? *looks angry* Since it is like this, then I won’t allow you your willfulness again..! After ten days, on the day of your birthday, it will be publicly announced on a wedding ceremony that will be held. Until that time, you bring whoever you want to participate in it and who will be your groom. You ought to have decided on it by then.” Mei tries to protest but Kintaro has already hanged up on her. In bed, Kintaro pets his cat and giggles as to what the ending would be. After a long silence, Mei is startled when Rihito calls out to her and asks her about Kento’s condition. Mei looks at him then turns away after remembering Kento saying goodbye. Rihito is surprised when Mei tells him that Kento told her that he is going back to Shikoku and he won’t be coming back. “..what’s up, with that guy.. going to England on his own.. then coming back on his own.. and this time again, on his own.. *remembers Kento telling her that he won’t see her again* On..his..” Rihito is surprised to see Mei crying. He is about to touch her to comfort her but Mei apologizes to him and asks if he can leave her by herself for a while. Rihito puts down his hand and did as he was told. Crying in bed, Mei thinks that she knows, that in truth, everyone are there, Rihito is there, and no matter how far he is yet he would still be with her later on [so], Kento is there but, that is only her happiness and it has set up a foundation which deprives others of their happiness. Rihito quietly goes to his room and remembers Xiang telling him that this can resolve Mei’s trouble as well as Rihito’s. He looks at the empty sheep bunker bed. Then, at the hospital, Kento looks surprised when Xiang and Fei congratulates him for he was chosen to become Mei’s groom.
Chapter 98: Kento asks what they are talking about for weren’t they Mei’s prospective fiance. Xiang apologizes for informing him late but they are actually Kintaro-sama secretly-dispatched judges in choosing Mei’s fiance. Kento seems to be still suspicious but Xiang tells him that among the numerous others, he is the last one there so he is the winner. Xiang congratulates him again. Kento says that he doesn’t feel a bit happy they they chose him and speaking of that, it is impossible for Mei to approve of that. Xiang smiles and says that isn’t a problem for they are basing it on for the happiness of both Mei and the Hongo family. Kento stands up and tells him to quit talking and he is going to see Mei. Somewhat sad Xiang asks isn’t this kind of ending, his wish. Kento shouts for him to shut up for if it isn’t Mei who chose him, then it doesn’t have any meaning to it. Just as Kento is about to go out of the room, Xiang tells him that he thinks that even if Kento sees Mei, he will just simply give Mei more anguish. “Because the ojousama is very nice, so she cannot say that she hates getting married with you, even if the one she really likes is Rihito.” Kento becomes sad-flustered about this. He suddenly had a coughing fit. Kento is surprised when Fei is suddenly behind him. Fei tells him that won’t do because his health is very valuable. Before they leave, Xiang tells Kento who is back in bed to leave the rest to them. He asks Kento to please properly rest before his wedding is held. [It seems that] Kento can only curse his helplessness. [<- not sure if he is the one cursing or it is the one whom] Xiang felt that someone is there a while ago but then he decides to forget about it since it ought to be no big deal. At the star dorm, Nezu tells the others that those two are not Yang people but secretly dispatched judges in the selection of Mei’s fiance. Someone asks isn’t that suppose to be Rihito’s duty. Another says that no matter how one looks at it, they were tricked. Claris comments that those two were suspicious from the start. Miruku says that no wonder there are no news of any activity from them as of late. Rika complains of the many inconveniences that they had encountered. Izumi wonders what Hongo family is thinking since she cannot make a guess on it.
Everyone goes into shock when Nezu tells them that based on the decision, the younger brother has been chosen. Claris comments that if that is the situation, it can be tiring if it is with the older brother. [<- not sure if she is referring to Mei or Kento being with Rihito but I think it is Mei since] Rika says that as a man, Rihito’s rank is much higher. Claris tells Rika that this isn’t about being a butler so the rank is of no relationship to this. Rika says that is why she said ‘as a man’. Leon asks Daimon what he thinks. Daimon says that it is hard to say. Nezu then starts a discussion on who do they feel should be chosen as Mei’s fiance wherein both ojousama-s and butlers can give their opinion. Nezu asks who are the ‘Younger brother’s team’. Claris, Leon, Miruku, Daimon, Fujiko and to Aoyama’s shock/sweatdrop, Rika raised up their hands. Nezu exclaims over the overwhelming victory of Kento. Leon says that if it is someone whom one is always with in life, then, their outlook on life [/lifestyle] is the same so the childhood friend is the best match. Miruku says that Kento is suitable to all sorts of lifestyle. [<- from classmate to butler to being a noble] Claris asks wasn’t Rika for Rihito. Rika says that it is regrettable that Kento suits Mei. “And, an ojousama cannot get married with a servant. No matter what is said, the younger brother is the heir of a duke.” The other girls become silent and dark over this fact. Nezu tries to change the mood by asking Kiba about his opinion. Kiba says that he likes both guys. Nezu sweatdrops and says that they aren’t going to be married to Kiba [/it cannot be both]. Kiba says that if it has to be done, he feels that for Rihito, if it isn’t someone like Mei beside him, then it won’t do at all. Fujiko then says that no matter which one is chosen, it will leave painful memories for Mei. Suddenly, there is a knock on the door. They wonder who it could be. Nezu opens the door and is surprised to see Mei. Mei asks why everyone is there. Soon, over some tea and snacks, Mei told them that Rihito has been dismissed. Izumi wonders out loud as to how come things turned out that way. Mei sadly tells them that her grandfather says that if she got married to Kento, it will be very difficult for Rihito, as a butler, to do all sort of things. Claris says that is true. Miruku teasingly asks that in the end, which of the two guys Mei likes. Someone calls out to Miruku for asking such a blunt question. Mei looks surprised about it. Suddenly Rika exclaims that this is boring. She calls out to Aoyama that they are leaving. Before leaving, Rika gives Mei a parting shot that Mei is really lucky to be able to choose as she pleases as to who will be her would-be husband.
After Rika left, Mei looks depressed. Fujiko tells Mei not to blame Rika. Mei says that yes, because this is her mistake. Then, Miruku and Claris ask Mei again as to which one she likes, between the two brothers. They were surprised/puzzled when Mei trembles and says that she couldn’t choose. She starts crying and says that she doesn’t know. She thinks that she starts to become unable to understand her way of thinking. Fujiko hugs Mei to comfort her. Meanwhile Xiang and Fei report to Kintaro. They say that it seems that Mei is still quite shock [/has trauma] over the loss of her parents that she fears of destroying the relationships that she has already established. Her prime motive in doing things is ‘do not abandon anyone’ and just like this time, of ‘choosing only one’, they consider it as something that can bring about a huge psychological burden for Mei but of course, this also shows that Mei has charisma. Kintaro says is that so, then why did they have chosen Kento. Rihito is famous for being a S-rank butler and he will definitely choose a method wherein will not further cause pain/hurt to Mei. But, if it is Kento, he would definitely choose a ‘farewell [never to meet again] type of break up’ because he is very pure and naive. Kento will think that until then, it will give Mei the burden of thinking [about it? Not sure on this part.]. Kintaro says that he clearly knows their way of thinking but for him, it doesn’t matter at all, because it doesn’t matter whoever it is. Xiang repeats in disbelief what Kintaro just said. Looking at Xiang, Kintaro tells him that is right, for he already told Mei, ‘After ten days, on the wedding itself, come with a guy and then exchange wedding vows with that person.’ Xiang looks dark as he smiles [a bit sinister looking]. Xiang laughs and asks if he had already said it. At the hospital, Kento is lying in bed and thinking. “I want to be with Mei, and it is because of this that I came back to Japan. Someething, that I also cannot forgive as well as cannot agree to, is if anyone forces Mei to marry someone who isn’t in her heart. But right now.. haven’t I become one of those kind of people?” Kento remembers Xiang telling him that the one Mei sincerely likes is Rihito. Pulling up the blanket and hiding inside, Kento think, “Darn it.. I already know about that four years ago.. I obviously knew, [yet] I still..” Then, there is a knock on the door. Kento wonders who it is. He sits up and tells the person to come in. Kento looks surprised for it is Rihito. Kento suddenly become really tense and scared since Rihito is emitting dark killer chi [/intent]. Kento exclaims, “Wa..wait!! I’m currently sick, and very weak!” Looking away from Rihito, Kento quickly lies down on the bed and nervously hugs his pillow tight. Rihito somewhat smiles and leans near his brother. Rihito says, “I know, so, I came to VISIT you. Be grateful.” Kento sweatdrops and says, “Eh?”
Ah, Kento is so adorable in that last part. Hehe, he is really afraid of Rihito =P It does seem that Mei is being ‘greedy’ for wanting both guys but the author conveniently gave a reasonable alibi for it but unfortunately for her, Kento has had enough of being a third wheel to Mei and Rihito. Geez, Mei has to insensitively rave about Rihito to him that Kento has really finally decided to call it quits, cold turkey style. It makes me think that Mei is really taking Kento for granted and even if Mei is troubled and everything, I think what Kento did is right. It will all just be temporary pain for everyone but in the long run, it would have them a lot more pain. Actually, I cannot really take this series seriously because the author can just twist everything and resolve things easily just like that in a sort of funny way. It might be like Mei ending up with both guys or something and they are okay with it. ^^; I do still hope that it is something a bit realistic. Since I like Kento, I would like him to be happy in the end and as I mentioned before, I’m open for the possibility if he ends up with Fujiko as consolation prize. I don’t want him to keep on being second fiddle to Mei. I think Xiang has a hidden agenda. He seems to be a real manipulator especially on how he analyzes the brothers’ characters including Mei’s and the calculated things he told them. Is he into psychology? ^^; It is pretty much like he wants them out of the way and take Mei for himself especially since the condition of the wedding is just bring the guy whom Mei wants to marry. Another thing is, I feel that Kintaro is baiting Xiang. Kintaro is a bit hard to read as to whether he is really sick or just playing around with Mei and others but then, it is all for the good like how he, one way or another, helped Mei’s fiances. It is like hard to differentiate if he’s a good guy or a bad one but maybe it is like a good guy pretending to be a bad one. I think contrary to what Xiang thinks, Kintaro is plotting something, too since he seem to intentionally tell him what he told Mei. I think their discussion is interesting about marrying someone compatible to you in contrast to someone whom you really love. Anyway, I feel that something fun is going to happen soon especially on how Rihito visited Kento. I have a feeling that they would team up again against that ‘evil’ butler/s. =P Scans by 77kkmh.com

Yuki looks down and says that he knows but he cannot do it, he cannot stop his feelings. Shun asks, “Aren’t we friends? Do you plan on stealing your friend’s girlfriend?” Looking serious, Yuki replies, “I’m sorry but I will still steal her. You are my good friend, I also like you, but even if you hate me, I still want her.” Looking a bit tense, Shun says, “..you would actually dare say it.” Shun is surprised when Yuki says, “Let me say, right now, I also don’t quite like you! Because my jealousy is quite strong, it is only lately that I’ve realized. It really puts me in a bad mood to see your and Chitose’s relationship being good and perhaps also when I see you touching her!” Flustered Shun shouts back, “Why you, that is my line. It’s the same with me, seeing you with Sa..” Yuki blankly asks, “Huh?” After a pause, Shun sweatdrops and exclaims that it is nothing. “By the way, you already said that you don’t want [her], and now you are saying that you want [her]. You are really doing as you please!” Yuki answers back, “You are right, but I had changed my mind, and that is also unavoidable!” Irritated and flustered Shun tells Yuki, “..you really infuriate me, I absolutely will not give Kaneshiro to you.” Yuki replies, “I’m very sorry but I definitely will get her.” Then, the two guys just look at each other. Elsewhere, Yuka is walking when a guy calls out to her and asks if she is Miss Furuya. Yuka turns around and says that she is. The guy exclaims that it is indeed Yuka. After trying to remember who he is, Yuka exclaims that it is Misaki’s older brother, Yutaka. [Okay, that is an invented name based on the kanji.] The two realize that they are going to the same university. Yuka says that it is quite nostalgic since it has been five years since they saw each other. Yutaka says that is true. Yuka says that his hometown is in Hyougo so is he living alone here right now. Yutaka says no for last year, the whole family moved to Tokyo. He tells her that his parents are originally from Tokyo and their gravesite [Misaki’s] is also here. Yuka remembers that is so. Yutaka explains that after Misaki has been born a few years after, they had to move to Hyougo because of his father’s work but now, they have moved back. Yuka says is that so. Yutaka asks how Yuki is. Yuka smiles and says that he is fine as well as Saaya. Yutaka is happy to her that. Yuka looks at him and it seems that she is blushing a bit.
Then, Chitose heads out of her house and says that she is going. She is surprised and becomes really flustered upon seeing Yuki waiting for her. Looking perplexed, she thinks, “Yuki-kun is my good friend’s boyfriend! A co-member in the Festival club! Avoiding him isn’t a way [to deal with this]. As a friend, I ought to properly get along with him!” Chitose smiles brightly then waves her hand as she calls out to him. [She looks too adorable here that..] Yuki slightly blushes and calls her name. Chitose happily greets him a good morning and says that it is quite cold today. Yuki says that he heard that there is a possibility of snow tomorrow. Chitose says is that so, she hopes that it would snow for playing in the snow before is quite fun.. Chitose suddenly froze since she remembered Yuki hugging her then. She blushes and becomes quiet. Chitose suddenly asks him if he and Saaya has made up. Yuki looks at her in surprise. Yuki says that he fears of making Chitose perplexed that he didn’t dare tell her about it before but he told Saaya that he likes her [Chitose] so he can no longer be her [Saaya’s] lover. Chitose looks really flustered by this. Yuki tells Chitose that Saaya says that is alright and still wants him to be by her side and ask him not to go to someone else’s side so he decided to stay by Saaya’s side until she [Saaya] has sorted out her way of thinking. “But the one, I like is--” He looks at the side and notices that Chitose has stopped walking beside him. Flustered Chitose tells him that it seems that she has forgotten something so she is going back. Chitose quickly runs back home, leaving slightly flustered Yuki. While running off, Chitose thinks what to do about Saaya [<-being considerate for her] and she really ought to like Shun more than Yuki immediately.
At home, during dinner, Tadashi exclaims in shock over the food which he just tasted. He asks Chitose what she put in it. Chitose asks if it is strange when it is the same as before. She tasted it and her brain went blank over the taste. Chitose apologizes as she wonders what she put in it. Tadashi asks him to please not thinking of something [daydreaming] and cooking at the same time. Tadashi says that it is too obvious that she is currently distressed about something. Chitose is surprised that he knew. Tadashi urges her to tell him about it so that he can help her plan a way to resolve it. Chitose finally tells her brother about it. [I don’t know if she told him everything or not but..] Tadashi says, if it is about making herself like Shun more than Yuki, how about H [/sex]. Chitose is totally shock by what her brother is suggesting. Tadashi tells her that other than H, he has no other idea to do it. Blushing really red, Chitose exclaims if it’s an ordinary situation, would a brother suggest such a thing to his younger sister. Tadashi tells her that if it’s an ordinary situation, even if she asks him like that, he thinks that he doesn’t have enough confidence to convince her. Tadashi tells her that considering Chitose’s partner, if it is someone he doesn’t know, of course, he won’t give this kind of suggestion but if it is Shun, he feels that it is okay. He also reasons out that he would think about it if she’s still in junior high but now, she is already in high school. Chitose protests that even if she does that thing, it won’t be definite that she’ll like Shun because Shun didn’t fall in love with his sex partner. Tadashi says that it would still at least change their relationship, it might throw away one’s likes and dislikes, it might make them move a step forward and deepen their relationship. Chitose looks surprise about this. Tadashi then remembers something and says that he has something nice for her. He gives her an envelope. Chitose asks what it is. Tadashi says, “I won it in a game from the publisher’s New Year get-together party. It’s a one night stay at the onsen [hot springs] for two lovers. The two of you should go ♡” Chitose looks in shock.
First of all, I don’t agree with Tadashi’s idea of having sex to deepen their relationship when Chitose obviously doesn’t like Shun to that degree yet. Geez, what kind of brother is this. It makes me think that it’s great that Yuka flatly rejected him before. Sigh, I guess this shouldn’t be too surprising since this is a brother who goaded Chitose to live in Tokyo just to find Yuki but his real motive is to have a ‘maid’ and he had a hunch that Yuki wasn’t serious with her before. -_-# And, he doesn’t even know Shun that well either. Anyway, I hope Chitose doesn’t do it just because it is her brother’s suggestion. I think the hot springs trip is okay but not the sex. Hm..I wonder if Shun can actually resist her though if they are in the same room together. I do have a feeling that Yuki and Saaya might come along or something. I recall a similar scene in Hana Yori Dango. As for Yuki and Shun, I find their conversation amusing and it seems that the battle lines have been drawn. I guess since they aren’t really that close as friends, they can fight over a girl without disregard to their friendship. I think Chitose would feel sad or guilty if she learns about this. It somewhat made me wonder if this will also happen in Kanojo wa Uso wo Aishisugiteru since there are some similarities. I like Yuki this way rather than just following what Saaya wants. He finally has resolved on something and hopefully, he’ll follow it through until the end. It does seem a bit inconsiderate of Saaya though ^^; Luckily for him, it isn’t really too late to win Chitose back. I wonder how he will react when he finally knows that the guy whom Saaya liked was Shun. It does seem ironic that because of what Yuki did, he somewhat forces Chitose to be more drastic in making herself fall for Shun. As for Shun, I wonder if he still has feelings for Saaya..is it concern? But if he still likes her, he ought to have encouraged Yuki so that he can get Saaya. For now, it seems like the two guys want Chitose and not Saaya ^^; I don’t know if I should feel sorry for Saaya, Chitose or both =P Lastly, since Misaki’s brother suddenly appear, I wonder if he will be the one who can resolve Saaya’s hold on Yuki like if he tells them about Misaki before he died or something, so that they can let go of that guilt they have. Ah, about Mishounen Produce, I begin to wonder if it is indeed the last chapter in the next chapter or it is the start of the last arc ^^;; Sorry about that. What is written in the Chinese scan is ‘Next time, Last Stage!!’ At first, I thought it is like last part because I took the ‘stage’ as in the context of being in showbiz. It is only today I checked the official page and it is written 40p climax so it might not be exactly the last chapter in the next issue but still, it is ending. Speaking of Lala, on the next issue, there will be another Ouran High Host Club Side Story and Kyoya’s father called up which disrupts their studying abroad. It is 60p. By the way, has anyone seen the other side story that was published in Lala Special? I haven’t seen it as a whole yet. On Kaichou wa Maid-sama!, the preview is generic = date and ferris wheel, what will happen to Misaki and Usui. Vampire Knight is also generic, Kaname disappeared, what is Yuuki to do. Lol, isn’t it obvious? Of course, go to Zero =P I’ll be surprised if she didn’t. For La Corda, Kahoko is going to join some ensemble and major disturbance for Len. Translation based on babefish so there might be mistakes. This will be out on the 24th unless someone got an early release/teaser ^^

Ah, I might do a couple of Mei-chan no Shitsuji chapters first to cap this week. Doing a lot of chapters in one go can be exhausting. ^^; If there is still no new other series chapter next week, I’ll start on Ojousama wa Oyomesama after MnS.
I just saw Mishounen Produce 17 and two main things happened here. First, Kosei tells Kako that he wasn’t to quit the ‘Produce/makeover’. He also finally confessed to Kako that the reason why he has been doing those awful things is because he likes her. Unfortunately, he told that to her on the phone. ^^; It is because he is disgusted with himself And, second, it seems that Masaki is going to produce a movie about two childhood friends from the province who fell in love when they went to the city. Oh ya, the title of the movie is ‘Mishounen Produce’. Masaki wants Kako to play that role. And as expected, Kosei is going to audition for the movie and this time as his real self, a country bumpkin. It’s good that Kosei has reflected on what he did and it is also good that he has finally decided to quit pretending who he isn’t. I wonder if Masaki knew about Kosei's real self and started this movie in order for Kosei to be himself and for the two to make up. Hehe, I kind of like that idea since Masaki is portrayed to be manipulative until the end but for the common good. =P They really should get him as their manager-whatever. Well, I guess since most of the problems are going to be solved, it is time to wait for the finale. The next chapter will be the last chapter/stage! Ah..it has been such a long time that I haven’t read Kimi ni Todoke ever since Sawako and Shouta became a couple. The rest of the chapters seem to be just lovey-dovey of the two. I remember seeing an almost kiss but Shouta hesitated ^^; though I don’t know if they really kissed yet ^^;; Anyway, I checked out chapter 54, and they are already in the second term. The SS couple have started to act more like a couple but of course, Kent still annoys Shouta by being the third wheel =P It seems that the singles are slightly pressured to have a lover since almost everyone have bf/gfs. Chizuru still doesn’t think of Ryu in a romantic kind of way. They learn that Ayane doesn’t confess to anyone since guys always confess to her. Kent jokingly confesses to Ayane who bluntly rejected him. The last part is the interesting one. Just when they are going home, Ayane and Chizuru begins to wonder if they should go home with Kent so that he won’t bother the SS couple. There is a guy hanging around by the shoe lockers near a vending machine, looking at Ayane. After they pass by, the guy calls out to Ayane and asks if he can delay her for a moment. Ayane asks what it is. The guy blushes a bit and mutters that he’ll do it here. Chizuru and Sawako are surprised for could it be.. The guy then says, “Please go steady with me!” Everyone is shocked for it is indeed a confession. What’s amusing here is this is a totally new guy unless he was there in the past chapters. ^^; I’m pleasantly surprise because it seems that the author isn’t going to make Ayane end up with any of their circle of friends. I think this is nice since he is something ‘new’ to the story. I wonder how Ayane would react since it seems to be someone she doesn’t know. Will she dump him immediately? Oh ya, they are going to Okinawa for a school trip soon. Hm..maybe I should read back the chapters I missed. Scans by 君届同好会.

At the hospital, Hayato sweatdrops when Hana shouts at him as to why he didn’t ask Ageha to stay. Hayato tells her that even if he did, it seems that Ageha has already decided on it. Hana asks what about afterwards, would they get together again after his ailment is well. After a pause, Hayato sadly says no because no one knows about the future. Hana exclaims why and they shouldn’t let this kind of thing destroy their feelings for each other. Hayato asks why she is so angry. Teary-eyed, Hana exclaims that it is because the two of them really think of each other that she thinks that they care about the other more than themselves. For others to see them like that, it gives the impression that they are really amazing so she doesn’t want them to break up just because of this. Hayato didn’t answer her as Hana continues to cry. Ageha narrates that she didn’t know about what Hana and Hayato talked about but since then, she never got in touch with him again. Even if she is lonely, she doesn’t feel pain since she only wishes for Hayato to be alright and the next time they see each other, he will be quite cheerful. Soon, it is back to school again. Ageha learns from Inoue that Hayato won’t be coming back as guidance counselor. This made Ageha rush to the office but no one is there. Marui appears and asks her what her problem is. Ageha asks him if it is true about Hayato. Marui says not really but it is more on, he cannot come. When Ageha asked why, he tells her that it is because Hayato has been going in and out of the hospital. Ageha is shock by this that she asks if his stomach isn’t well yet. Marui says that not really, but this time around, it seems to be his intestines or duodenum though they weren’t able to find the cause. Whenever Hayato checks into the hospital, it is okay until the time he is out of the hospital. It seems that there is a problem with the food he is eating but no matter how they investigated it, they couldn’t find the cause. Marui tells Ageha that Hayato is currently in the hospital though his condition wasn’t that grave like he had that stomach ailment that his spirits are quite high. Ageha cannot believe this news. Soon, she heads to the hospital to check on him. She peeks into the room to see Hayato boredly answering the doctor’s questions about eating some soups and he feels okay. The doctor plans to give him some congee for dinner. Ageha just leaves and worriedly wonders if Hayato is still blaming himself. She visits a shrine and prays for him. She wonders what else she can do. At the department store, Ageha thinks of buying a shirt for Hayato and indeed, ends up buying it. The saleslady tells her about a promo raffle they are having. Ageha decides to try her luck and to her surprise, she won a trip for two. Ageha cannot believe it. Then, Ran, together with her kids, passes by and calls out to her. Ran says that she is also going to join the raffle then learns that someone won and it is unexepectedly, Ageha. Ran looks at the prize then she suddenly frowns. Ageha notices the change in her expression. Ran asks her if she is planning to go there with Hayato. While saying no, Ageha realizes that Ran didn’t know that they have already broken up. Ran tells her that it would be better not to tell Hayato about this because that place is where Arisa died. Ageha is surprised to learn this.
At home, Ageha’s mother is delighted that Ageha is giving that trip to her and her father. Her mother thinks that if they add some money to it, then the whole family can go on that trip. Ageha tells them that she won’t be going because she isn’t interested in nature. While Ageha is wondering why she won that prize, Hana suddenly comes in and happily tells everyone that she won a trip for two at a raffle. Their mother and grandma cannot believe the luck of the sisters in getting the same prize. Their mother happily says then, they would only have to pay for one person’s expenses. While they are happily talking that it has been a long time since they have a family trip together, they were surprise when Ageha tells them that she isn’t going. Hana exclaims why. Their mother says that they won’t leave Ageha home by herself. Ageha tells them that she has work. Hana tells her take a leave from work. Ageha says she cannot because they lack personnel so, the four of them should go. Ageha has already left even if her mother tries to call her. This made Hana go after Ageha and asks what’s up with her and isn’t she feeling well. Ageha tells her that is the place where Arisa died. Hana is shock by this. Ageha tells her that even if she went, she won’t feel happy about it. Then, later on, Ageha is shock to learn that the restaurant where she works is temporarily closed. Inside, she sees Shinobu and Inoue calling people on the phone. Ageha asks them what happened. Shinobu tells her that the cook and owner had viral hepatitis so they are now confined in the hospital. Inoue says that since they cannot cook without them, then it cannot be helped but to temporarily close the place. At home, Ageha is gloomy as her mother happily cooks and tells her that she told her that they would be going as a whole family. Hana tells her that Ageha isn’t always this lucky. Hana comments that they both won the prize and the restaurant is closed, so it is too much of a coincidence. “Don’t you think that it is like unseen force is guiding you? Don’t you think that it is like as if that place is calling you?” Ageha wonders about what Hana said and thinks that is the place where Hayato’s pain started. At the hospital, Ageha finds Hayato sleeping. Ageha puts the shirt and a charm on the table. She leaves and starts to think that she doesn’t know what else she can do but for a pupa to change the world. “If there is a little bit of progress, and to be able to at least change some things, then I’ll check it out! To the place where Hayato’s pain originated.”
Chapter 38: Origin They arrive at the mountain resort area. Grandma stayed behind for the hot springs and she cannot climb up the mountain while the rest went to hike the mountain. Their father comments how fresh the air is. Ageha looks downcast. Hana asks her where Arisa went. From the bridge, Ageha says that it is probably in that river below which is shallow now since some people are walking around the rocks. After a pause and looking down below, Hana asks if Ageha told Hayato that she will be going there. Ageha says that she didn’t since he was sleeping but she just left his gift. Hana scolds her why when that is actually her chance. Since Ageha is puzzed, Hana tells her that it would have uplifted something in Hayato if she told him that she is going to pray for Arisa’s happiness. Ageha says that if it didn’t work out okay, it might affect Hayato’s feelings and that way, it seems like he is being forced to be uplifted by it which she doesn’t want to do. Hana gets agitated that Hana scolds her twin that she is too afraid of Hayato. “It would seem as if you are thinking of the other person but actually, you are just running away. If it is like that, then nothing will change. You’re being feeble-minded.” Ageha is just quiet as Hana walks on ahead to their parents. At the hospital, Hayato sadly looks at the gifts that Ageha left then looks up the sky. Back at the mountains, they were all surprised when it suddenly became foggy. They decide to go in a restaurant-inn to eat and rest for a while until the fog dissipates. They were all surprised how dark it has become that they couldn’t see what’s in front of them. Their mother is relieved that there is a restaurant there because they might die in the mountain track. They notice that a lot of hikers have also sought shelter so they would have to wait longer. While they decide to go look at the souvenir shop, Ageha goes out of the building to some benches near a tree. She hears the sound of the river below the cliff. She thinks that what Hana said is right, she had become afraid of hurting Hayato again that she couldn’t bring herself to tell him about the trip. She wonders if it was better for her to tell him or not. She wonders what if he also wanted to go there. She wonders if Arisa is still lingering around that place. She takes out some incense and sticks it near the ground/cliff where she hears the river. Thinking that this is what she can do, Ageha prays that Arisa is in a peaceful rest.
Suddenly, she sees a woman standing in front of her. Ageha is shock and thought that it is Rena. Ageha exclaims why she is there. The woman just points towards some direction ahead then looks at Ageha. Ageha asks if Rena is telling her where Arisa died. Ageha asks if Rena also went there to also pray for Arisa. The woman didn’t reply to any of her questions and just starts to walk away. Ageha looks at the building where her family is but she decides to chase after Rena. She shouts for Rena to slow down but Rena is walking too fast that she couldn’t catch up to her. After a lot of chasing, she begins to wonder why she cannot catch up to Rena. She starts to feel that it is really strange. Suddenly, she trips on a root of a tree. After standing up, she cannot find Rena. She begins to panic for she was left behind and she didn’t know which direction she came from. Suddenly, she sees Rena again. Ageha runs to her and calls out to Rena but she realizes that it isn’t Rena, but someone who looks like Rena. The woman looks at her then turns away. Ageha shouts for her to wait. She runs and ends up falling down a cliff. Later on, Hana exclaims that their mother bought a lot of souvenirs/local food. Their mother laments that it is because they all look delicious. Their father exclaims that the fog has already dissipated that they can see the scenery again. When they are going to leave, they realize that Ageha is missing and they couldn’t find her anywhere. Meanwhile, Ageha wakes up and begins to wonder what happened. She remembers chasing after Rena then she remembers falling down the cliff. She takes out her cellphone but there is no signal. She calls out to her parents but she fears that they cannot hear her and she doesn’t know where she is. She thinks that she should find for help immediately. Back to her parents, they look around and still cannot find Ageha ahead. They wonder if they should head down to look for her. While their father wonders where else they should look, Hana calls out to them and says that she found Ageha’s hat near the cliff. Back to Ageha, she tries to climb up but fails to do so. She drinks from her thermos and starts calling out again. She wonders if no one is nearby. She begins to wonder if she has been abandoned but continues to believe that her parents will find her.
At the hospital, Hayato gets a call from Hana who informs him that Ageha is missing. She tells him that they had a family trip to the mountains and there was a fog so they have to stop for a while. Then during that time, Ageha went missing. They only found her hat and some incense near the river bank. Hayato exclaims why Ageha is lighting incense. Hana tells him that it is the place where Arisa died. Hayato is shock to hear this. Hana tells him that Ageha didn’t tell him but she came to pray for Arisa’s happiness. Hana cries, “What should I do now, Kyuu-chan? Ageha is taken away by Arisa.” Meanwhile, Ageha continues to try to climb up but the branch breaks and she fell down with a huge gash on her shin. She freaks out over this that she quickly uses a towel to cover it and stop the bleeding. She exclaims that it hurts and she doesn’t want [to experience] this. She starts to cry and becomes frightened when there is a sudden wind. She begins to fear of the possibility of no one finding her. Suddenly, to her surprise, her cellphone starts ringing. It is Hayato who asks her if she is alright. Ageha cries to him. Hayato is relieved that she is alright. Ageha starts crying for him to save her. Hayato tells her to calm down and breathe deeply. After some deep breathing together, Hayato tells her that it is okay since she is alright. He asked her if she has calmed down. Thinking that hearing his voice has calmed her down, Ageha says she has. He asks her where she is. Ageha says that she doesn’t know because she has fallen down. He asks if she is in the river. She says that fell from the mountain. He asks if she is hurt. Ageha tells him about her wound which bled a lot but she is stopping it with a towel pressed on it. Just when Hayato is about to tell her what to do, the line is suddenly cut off. She tries to contact him but it is to no avail for there is no signal again. She starts to freak out again and shout, no, do not leave her alone.
Chapter 39: Butterfly Hayato has arrive and Hana meets up with him and leads him into the hotel. Hayato asks about Ageha but Hana tells him that they still couldn’t find her. He asks where the search team is looking for Ageha. Hana tells him that they stopped searching when it became dark. Hayato quickly sees a taxi and plans to go and look for Ageha immediately. Hana worriedly tells him not to do that for he is currently unwell and what would happen if he is also got lost. Hayato tells her that his illness is not a huge hindrance and Ageha is wounded so he is worried about her and he should find her immediately. The twins’ father tells him to stop and asks if he was the guidance counselor who informed them about Ageha’s safety. Hayato bows to him and introduces himself. The father thanks him for worrying about his daughter but if he recklessly try to search and he also got into trouble, then how would they feel about it. He tells Hayato that it is already late and they just have to search for Ageha tomorrow morning. Hayato tries to protest but the father, who is clenching his fist, says that like him, they also wanted to search for Ageha but in the meantime, they can only wait in pain just like him. At the lounge, the mother and grandmother are worrying about Ageha being all alone and afraid. Grandma wonder if she will be alright since it is cold in the mountains at night. Her mother is more worried about the wound that Ageha got. The father tells them not to be pessimistic. Just when the mother is about to protest, Hana calmly tells them that Ageha is alright and she will safely come back home. The others were surprised by what she said that they soon change their tone and say that Hana will be alright. Hayato just quietly holds the charm that Ageha gave him tightly in his hand. Back at the forest, Ageha thinks that it won’t do if she just kept on crying. She decides to do something that she can do right now. She thinks that she ought to have the same resolve and determination just like when she broke up with Hayato. She has to use her two own feet and stand. She thinks that even if the things she’ll do are just small things but she ought to think what she can do right now. “Doing so, then there will be a future and afterwards, there will be an effect [/result].” Ageha takes out her jacket and wears it. She then bandages her wound tight with a handkerchief. She then takes out a blanket and wraps herself in it. She hears the sound of the river and decides to head towards it when it is morning.
When it is almost morning [but it seems the sun isn’t out yet], Hayato goes out of his room. He is surprised to see Hana greeting him a good morning. She tells him that she knew that he won’t wait for the search team. She also tells him of a shortcut to get there. Hayato smiles at her. Hana leaves a note that they will be looking for Ageha and they won’t be reckless. Meanwhile, Ageha finally reaches the river. She is delight for there is hope that she can go home. Back to the two, Hana asks Hayato where they would look for Ageha. He asks him what she’ll do if she is Ageha. Hana says that if she can walk, she’ll go downhill and if the river is nearby, she’ll go there. Hayato decides that they do just that. Back to Ageha, she finds it hard to walk by the river bank since the rocks are uneven. Hana takes a break and drinks again. She feels lucky that she brought Pocari Sweat [Japanese softdrink and sports drink Source: wiki]. She thinks that she ought to conserve her drink. While wondering if the water from the river safe to drink, she decides to rest for a while and she falls asleep. Meanwhile, the other two are breathing hard already from climbing down the mountain. Hana becomes worried of Hayato when he somewhat bends down. Hayato assures her that he is okay. Hana tells him that the others would realize that they are missing around this time and would they be worried. He tells her that she can go back to the hotel and wait there. Hana says that she doesn’t want to but then, she doesn’t want to see her parents despondent like that either. She tells him that her heart aches to see how much her mother and grandma were crying. “I’ve told them that Ageha is alright, but actually..is she really alright..” Hayato looks at Hana and assures her that Ageha is alright. Hana complains that he is copying what she said before. Hayato just smiles and says is that so. He holds her head to assure/comfort her and tells her to relax and just believe that everything will turn out okay. Then, Ageha wakes up and realizes that she has fallen asleep. She is then surprised to see a lot of butterflies flying around her. She is wondering why there are a lot of them when she sees some of them are drinking her drink. Ageha giggles over this and asks them if they felt good after drinking it.
Then, a butterfly flies in front of her and towards a tree. Ageha sees a worn out knapsack hanging on the tree. She decides to check it out and saw a lot of rotten food inside. She looks at the wallet, wondering how much years it has been there. She then sees a driving license with a picture of a girl. She sees the name and it is Arisa’s. She then sees a small bookmark-type of paper in the wallet. She takes it out and inside, it is written, ‘If only, Hayato will smile from ear to ear forever.’ Ageha realizes that it isn’t a bookmark but rather it is a tanzaku [wishes written in paper strips] from the tanabata festival. Ageha remembers Hana telling her that it seems that place is calling her. She wonders if she is brought there to find that and it is her mission to give that to Hayato. Determined, Ageha decides to keep on walking but a gush of wind blows the tanzaku from her hand. Ageha manages to get it back and says that it is good that it didn’t fell into the river. Then, some rocks are falling down. To her shock, there is a landslide. She quickly tries to run away. Back to the two, they are calling out to Ageha. Hayato falls on his knees again that Hana worriedly asks if he is alright and should they rest for a while. He claims that he slipped and they should continue walking. Soon, they reach the riverside and take a break by drinking and eating some snack. Hana says that they were searching for such a long time yet they couldn’t find her. Hayato asks if Ageha isn’t there. Hana apologizes for recklessly saying too much before [<- assuming Ageha went to the riverside]. Hayato tells her that it isn’t her fault and maybe the search team has already found Ageha. Hana perks up over that possibility. She notices that she has a signal there so she decides to call her father. Upon answering the phone, her father shouts at her as to what she is doing. Hana apologizes and tells him that they are okay. She asks if they have already found Ageha. Hana sadly looks at Hayato and shakes her head. Hayato becomes downcast as Hana tells the others that they are looking for Ageha along the river. Suddenly, a butterfly flies in front of Hayato. This surprises Hayato. Then, the butterfly flies around him and rests by his shoulder. Hana starts complaining to Hayato what she should do since her father told her to go back. The butterfly suddenly flies off. Since he didn’t reply, she asks him what’s up. Hayato keeps on looking at the butterfly and tells her about that butterfly hanging around there. Hana says that it seems that it wants them to follow it. They decided to follow it as they wonder where it is going to fly to. Then, they are surprised to see a lot of butterflies going around a thermos. Hana looks at the thermos and she exclaims to Hayato that it is Ageha’s. Hayato calls out to Ageha then he sees a pile of rocks at the side. They were surprised when they found bruised and bleeding Ageha unconscious underneath the rubble.
Last Chapter: Tomorrow They quickly rush to her and calls her name. Hana is worried over the color of her twin’s face. Hayato is worried since Ageha isn’t breathing. Hana is shock by this. Hayato quickly checks Ageha’s pulse and he felt that it is weak. Hayato opens Ageha’s mouth and says that she has swallowed some gravel. Hayato quickly rips a strip of his shirt and uses it to cover his finger which he uses to remove the gravel from Ageha’s mouth. Hayato tells Hana that he’ll try to take out as much gravel out as possible and he would give Ageha some mouth to mouth resuscitation. Hana wants to help but Hayato tells her to go call for help instead and for an ambulance. Then, Hayato prays for Ageha not to die before giving her some mouth to mouth resuscitation. Hana then shouts that her cellphone’s signal is weak so she couldn’t call out. Hayato gives her his cellphone to try using it. Hana still cannot contact outside and Hayato continues to perform the mouth to mouth. Hana is becoming tense that she shouts that she still cannot contact the others. Hayato shouts for her not to give up and continue to try. He shouts how he could let Ageha die there. Hayato doesn’t want to experience that kind of pain again in this place, by the riverside. He shouts, “I don’t want to lose someone again. I will definitely save Pupa!!” He does the mouth to mouth again and shouts at Ageha not to die and wake up since there are still a lot of things that she hasn’t done yet and she absolutely shouldn’t die in this place. While still on the phone, Hana starts shouting at her twin to ‘gambatte’. While butterflies are flying overhead, the two of them kept on calling her to wake up. They were surprised when Ageha suddenly coughs. They call out to her as Ageha opens her eyes. Hayato shouts if she can hear him. Ageha cannot say something audible. She takes out the tanzaku and gives it to Hayato. Ageha mutters that she found it from Arisa’s bag. Hana sees the bag at the side and shows Hayato Arisa’s license. Hayato looks surprised. Hayato remembers Arisa giving her a tanzaku before for the tanabata tree. When he asked what she wrote, Arisa smiled and said that she won’t tell him. End flashback. Ageha weakly tells him that it was Arisa who called her to that place because no matter what, that is what Arisa wanted to tell him. Hayato looks at the wish on the tanzaku. Suddenly, there is a strong wind that blows off Hayato’s cap. The three were surprised by the huge amount of butterflies flying over them. Hayato seems to have seen smiling Arisa among the butterflies. Remembering her wish for him to be smiling forever, Hayato holds the tanzaku tight and cries.
Soon, the helicopter arrives and Ageha is taken to safety. The mother and grandma thank Hayato for his help. Then, Hana sees her angry father who promptly hits her on the head. Hana exclaims that hurts. Her father shouts that she is really reckless and did she know how worried she made them be. Irked, Hana tells him that he is only worried about Ageha and not her so it doesn’t matter anymore since she has already found Ageha. Hana tells him that Ageha is now being brought into the ambulance so shouldn’t he be going. Her father angrily shouts that of course, he is worried about Hana. He suddenly hugs her and tells her that both of them are his treasured daughters. “It’s really great that you are alright, Hana..” Hana is flustered then starts to say that she was scared for she thought that Ageha is going to die. She starts to hug him tight and cries that it is really fortunate that she is still alive. Hayato smiles at the two then quietly leaves. After three weeks, Hana arrives to visit on Ageha again. Hana comments that Ageha is studying. Ageha says that she is trying to catch up with schoolwork. Hana praises her for she already has notes for this week. Ageha thanks her and also thanks her for substituting for her at work. Hana says that it is okay and anyway, she has free time. She then gives Ageha something that Shinbou wants to give to Ageha. Ageha opens the package and it is a small flower figurine. The twins laugh/smile together. Narration: “From that day, I learned something very important. That is..I ought to be with my utmost best and live well for every moment. This scenery of being able to smile normally everyday, is really, really something that cannot be exchange for anything.” Soon, Ageha is well enough to be released from the hospital though she still has to be in clutches in order to walk. Her mother asks if she didn’t forget anything. Ageha says no. Ageha and the nurses exchange ‘take care’ to each other.
In the bullet train, Ageha says that she can finally go home. Her mother asks if she told Hayato that she has been discharged. Ageha says no and she wasn’t in touch with him. Her mother says is that so, but since she is out of the hospital, she should go and formally thank him. While riding on the train, Ageha wonders, “Sensei~ how are you right now? I heard from Hana that after you were discharged from the hospital, you weren’t confined in again afterwards. Since that time, how is your health? Regarding the matter about Arisa, was I, more or less, able to help you a bit? If it is yes, then I will be very happy..” Then, Ageha goes to Arisa’s grave. She prays and tells Arisa that she was able to give the tanzaku to Hayato and she also prays that Hayato will smile from ear to ear forever. She then sees a butterfly flying around in front of her. She begins to wonder why she always sees a butterfly there. Suddenly, the butterfly flies to her then to the side. Ageha looks at the side and sees Hayato walking towards her with two bouquets of flowers. She blushes as she sees him smiling again. Hayato tells her that he went to her house and they told her that she is there. Hayato gives her the flowers as congratulations for getting discharged. Holding the flowers, Ageha asks him if he is alright. While bending down and putting the other bouquet of flowers on Arisa’s grave, Hayato tells her that the situation of always going in and out of the hospital isn’t good and he always couldn’t get well. After he prays to Arisa, he tells Ageha that if she isn’t beside him, it won’t do at all. Ageha blushes over this. Holding the laminated tanzaku, Hayato tells her that other than Ageha, there won’t be a second time of finding someone who would do that much for him. He looks at Arisa’s grave and asks Arisa if that is true, and can he make Ageha happy. “Being with this girl, I can be uplifted. And for me, compared to anything else, she is the most effective miracle cure.” Ageha becomes teary-eyed and thinks that the fluttering of a pupa can change the world, and because one’s eyes cannot see the small things, yet it is actually a very important and huge thing. They were surprised when the see the butterfly flying over them again. Hayato smiles at it and tells Ageha, “Ageha, please stay by my side.” He looks at her and somewhat blushing Ageha smiles back at him. Then, she says, “Yes.” Narration: “One should properly cherish..this second time of coming across and getting in contact with each other.” The end.
And, so the final meaning of the butterfly is the soul of a departed soul. It does seem like Arisa/butterfly is the deus ex machine for everything to be resolved for both the twins and Hayato. I do believe it is true that mental/emotional stress can manifest as physical ailments. I remembered that from my psychology teacher and well, this series is somewhat about that topic. The other important lesson here is to face one’s problems and with the help of others and prayers, surely, things will be alright. Overall, I guess this is an okay story though it was a typical sibling rivalry. It got me wondering if this is how the author intended it to be when she started since Ryuusei is no longer in the series. =P The last arc seems like some other kind of series wherein a ghost lover is helping one’s still living lover to move on and be happy. ^^; Before I was thinking that it would be nice if Hana also ends up with Shinobu but after thinking about it, maybe the author decided to leave it up to readers because no matter what had happened, Shinobu did two-timed Hana. Anyway, finally, I finished this series and it is one of the first summaries that I did. *checking* It’s from November 2006. Just to inform you guys that the monthly manga dumps in BW are pretty slow or almost none lately these past two months, unlike before. The ones who use to do it are either busy or probably not interested anymore. I’m not sure about iieye’s defer. Thankfully, 17kkmh has been doing some of them though it is also slow. Basically, updates might not be that frequent since I’m also going to catch up with my backlogs. That means multiple chapters in one entry so it will take some time.
As for Hadashi de Bara wo Fume, according to 粉薰囡囡 who scans it for baidu, there is no Chinese chapter this month. Yes, it’s another month’s wait. I couldn’t get the enthusiasm to do Akuma to Love Song and Kurobara Alice so that is on hold for now. Actually, I think KA has been dropped by the Chinese scanlators. ^^; So, while waiting for the Chinese scans, I’ll focus on Ojousama wa Oyomesama, Ookami-heika no Hanayome and Papillon. Haha, that is about 38 chapters to do. =P If any of the others series are out, rest assured, I’ll do them asap.

Mikage happily tells Kaede that they should together. Just when Kaede is about to decline, Seiran, who is wearing a gown, suddenly holds on Kaede’s arm and exclaims that Kaede is a pair with him. Shivering and holding out her little finger, Mikage asks if Kaede actually likes that type. While Kaede tries to protest that it isn’t so, Seiran is already pulling him towards the door. Flustered Kaede asks Seiran as to what he is thinking. Seiran says that he doesn’t want Kaede to pair up with that girl. He thinks that he also doesn’t want to wear that outfit but then, doing this right now could be considered as something for Anis. Anis mentally apologizes but she really thinks that Seiran looks cute. Tenjoh then tells Anis that as his partner, they should go together inside. Anis looks at him then quickly grabs Mikage and says that they are going in now. Anis thinks that it is a special kind of mistake to think that just because she is a girl that she needs an escort. After a pause, Tenjoh gestures to Mitsuki if he wants to join with him. Mitsuki looks away and tells him that’s impossible. Soon, they are welcomed by some masked students to the party. Anis thinks that if one isn’t a lady, one would find those sparkling and glittering things boring. Guys wouldn’t understand the joy of eating sweets/desserts. Girls would appreciate the formal clothes and gossip about it on the side. Some other girls are talking about clothes then how good looking Tenjoh and others are. To Anis’ shock, they actually thought that Seiran is a super cute girl. Mikage smiles and says that Seiran is really cute and they shouldn’t lose to a guy. While eating something, Anis agrees with her. Then, Mikage tells Anis that she had fun today but she’ll excuse herself to go to Kaede. Anis is surprised by that as Mikage leaves with a smile, unseen by Anis. Narration: “I don’t want to regret because that is already the last night.” While Anis is about to call Mikage, Tenjoh holds Anis hand and asks if they can dance. Anis protests that she doesn’t know how to but Tenjoh tells her to leave everything to him. Tenjoh quickly whisks her to the dance floor and whirl her around. Anis can only shout for him to stop because it’s disgusting if he’s too near. Then, they slow down when it is a marching [waltz] music. Anis is a bit dizzy from all the twirling around. She then notices Mikage giving some food to Kaede who is with Seiran. Tenjoh whispers if she is really concerned about the Red Rose. Anis denies that she is concerned. She tells him to just look, Kaede is too frivolous in this place that it make her a bit worried. Anis then freaks out that Tenjoh is leaning too close to her.
Tenjoh continues to whisper, “It’s also good.. Paying attention to some other guy at the side, is so cruel, since it is as if for every step of the beat of the waltz, you are trampling on to my heart.” Anis felt ill over that comment. Looking serious, Tenjoh says, “This is what I think. You and the Red Rose cannot achieve the ‘First Awakening’ is because in between the two of you [/your hearts], [you?] want to destroy the dividing wall in between, right..--in a way. *whispers to her ear* And also why, such a ‘wall’ exists there..” While dancing with Tenjoh, Anis glances at Kaede, who seems to be looking at her direction, and wonders if there is a wall between her and Kaede. As he glances at Kaede, Tenjoh says, “If you break it, then you also won’t be able to stop anymore..so do not destroy it. Isn’t this true?” Anis looks flustered and quiet. She then pushes Tenjoh away and tells him that she said before, not to theorize about other people’s business as he pleases. While some other girl asks to dance with Tenjoh, irritated Anis quickly leaves. While walking fast, Anis thinks that right now, it is already a ‘Princess Rose’ and Knights kind of relationship and if it is possible, she would want to live with everyone happily. Mutsuki notices her passing by. Anis thinks that she is always moving ahead in accordance to how she feels right now. She wonders if this way of thinking is real or not. She is irritated when others dictate to her as to what she ought to do. “So that is why I said that dealing with guys is really troublesome!” She suddenly bumps into someone. She apologizes. The guy says, “Geez..you are still the same, making one worried [about you].. Should I snatch you away like this?” Anis looks up to see the masked guy and thinks that she recognizes that voice. Suddenly, there is a thunder. Anis screams in fright and then, there is no electricity that everyone complains about how dark it is. While everyone is in a state of panic, Anis finds herself being forcibly led away. Anis shouts where she is being taken and to let her go. Anis couldn’t resist the person who is quite strong. Soon, she finds herself out the patio. She is surprised that it was Mutsuki who leans her on the wall by the patio’s door. He asks if this place is better because there is light. Anis is relieved by that. Mutsuki tells her that it is chaotic in the hall inside so she should stay there until the lights are restored. Mutsuki asks her about that suspicious masked guy beside her before the lights went out, could it be..
The thunder roars again that Anis screams in fright again. Mutsuki asks her if she is afraid of the thunder. Anis admits that she is and is there a problem. She is afraid of earthquake, thunder, fire [burning places] and her father. She holds his arm tight and asks if he can let her hide there for a bit. Mutsuki seems to be smitten by how Anis looks that he asks if it is okay for her to show him that kind of expression. Anis blushes and exclaims for him not to laugh at her. The thunder roars again that Anis quickly goes to him. She is surprised when Mutsuki says that isn’t what he meant. Then, they were interrupted when they hear Kaede, who is still inside calling out for Anis. Anis is about to shout to him that she is there when Mutsuki tells her not to go. To her surprise, Mutsuki suddenly kisses her on the lips. Then, she slaps him. [Ouch ^^;] Gesturing to her lips with the back of her hand, Anis is blushing really red. She exclaims, “..what, what were you doing..idiot..!” Mutsuki tries to call her but Anis is already running away by jumping over the balustrade. She is in total disbelief that she kissed with Mutsuki. [I’m not sure if Anis looks behind to see Mutsuki just standing there, or Mutsuki is remembering her expression.] Suddenly from behind Mutsuki, someone asks, “Eh..you know now, right..” Mutsuki turns to see Yokuto appearing behind him. Yokuto says, “Mutsuki, the so-called true ‘desire’--” Mutsuki mutters, Grey Rose. Yokuto tells him that it is Yokuto and Mutsuki ought to properly call his older brother. Mutsuki didn’t reply back. Pointing to Mutsuki, Yokuto says, “Eh, in the end, you..want to take the Rose Princess for yourself, right?” Mutsuki didn’t reply but Yokuto smiles. Yokuto then says, “Mutsuki, let me give you something good. *He takes out a choker/collar with some chains on it.* It can break away her ‘thorny’ [/brambles] Dominion’s madōgu. [<- also known as 'psychic devices' or 'elemental weapons']” [I’m not sure if it is still Yokuto who is saying this or someone else but the last sentence is] “Your-- new necklace.” [<- It got me confused if Yokuto is telling him to wear it to be free of Anis or it is something for Anis ^^; I don’t recall Mutsuki having a necklace before unless Yokuto is telling him that it is his new ‘leash’. ^^;] Standing by the outdoor hallway, Anis is still busy complaining that her hair and dress are in a total mess. She is totally infuriated and still cannot believe what had happened. She calms down and continues to blush. “Because..that is my first.” She hears a sound at the side that she turns to see Idel carrying someone behind his back. She rushes to him and asks why he is standing out there in the rain. He then sees that Idel is carrying unconscious Yakoh. Seeing her, Idel bends to his knees and asks her to save Yakoh. Narration: “And I haven’t thought that it is unexpectedly, the last day.”
I think that the elements mentioned in the title of this chapter all refers to Mutsuki. It is hard to comment on that choker that Yokuto is giving him since I’m not exactly sure who it is for but I just hope that Mutsuki doesn’t do anything to stupid. I’m beginning to fear that he might end up like his brother if he didn’t get Anis. ^^; And, since Mutsuki has no one whom he can go on a rampage at, it might be against the other knights. Jealousy and desire can be scary. Well, too bad that he was rejected..in a way since that is too sudden. Even if Anis is the type of girl who isn’t really gaga over guys, she is still a girl who treasures her first kiss. Mutsuki does seem to have been carried away by his emotions especially since she is with him then, she would suddenly focus on Kaede. Unlike Tenjoh, Mutsuki isn’t a M(asochist) in that way. It seems that besides Kaede, Anis will now have some distance with Mutsuki. Interestingly, the potential contenders for Anis are ‘tempted/seduced’ by the antagonists. I guess they are pretty smart to pick on those two Knights since it is really unlikely for Anis to end up with Tenjoh or Seiran or no one. Unless of course, the author decides to give us a shocking unpredictable ending. =P I guess it is because Anis is too focused on maintaining everything wherein everyone are happy with each other, she didn’t notice that some things are moving courtesy of her father and the Fake Roses or cracking in her ‘perfect’ situation regarding the relationship of her Knights to each other because of her. She is still clueless about Mikage and how dangerous Yokuto can be since these two can ‘take away’ two of her Knights. It seems that in this chapter when she is confronted by something that she doesn’t like to face, she just runs away. I’m also somewhat confused on what Tenjoh meant by the wall between Anis and Kaede. At first, I thought it is a wall wherein if it breaks, they can be together but when I re-read it, it is about not breaking the wall. ^^; Could he be referring to Mikage or the wall of ‘things okay between them’ which unlike Mutsuki, broke it and thus, things aren’t okay anymore? If it is the former, I imagined what if it is like Anis got together with Kaede then suddenly jump to final awakening and it is the end. =P When I think more of it, I wonder if this series will end if Anis did chose one of her knights or will there be some sort of aftermath as to what the other Knights will do/react, afterwards. Also, regarding the last day narration, I wonder what it meant. At first, I wonder if it is meant literally last day but then, maybe it is about last day of school or last day of her ‘normal carefree’ days. We will know for sure when the next chapter is out.

At the hospital, Tsubaki is still breathing hard, from running, when she reaches the operating room. She wonders if Kyouta is really inside. Flustered and nervous, she wonders if the injuries are really that severe since an emergency operation was needed. She hopes an irritated Kyouta with a bandaged arm, would come out of the operating room and he would complain that those people exaggerated his injury. The door opens. Tsubaki is shock that contrary to what she thought, sleeping Kyouta is wheeled out into the hallway by a nurse. Kyouta looks bruised with a bandage on the left side of his forehead and a cast on his left arm. He had an IV and an oxygen mask attached to him. Before she can recover, Tsubaki hears a guy shouting that it isn’t his fault. The policeman is interviewing the driver who exclaims that guy [Kyouta] suddenly jumps and runs through the street then he suddenly stops midway. “It seems that he was shaken while talking on the phone!” Tsubaki becomes really tense as she remembers the call earlier saying that she was the last one whom Kyouta is talking with. She suddenly grabs the back of the driver’s shirt and asks what time the accident happened. The driver says that it is around 10am. Tsubaki thinks that it is her fault. Soon, Kyouta wakes up and asks where he is. Tsubaki answers that he is in the hospital. Kyouta is disoriented that Tsubaki explains that he got into a car accident and afterwards, he was taken to that place. Kyouta looks at Tsubaki and asks why she is standing so far away from him. While standing at the end of his bed, Tsubaki is tightly clinging on the curtain of Kyouta’s ward room. Kyouta gestures with his IV-ed arm for her to come to him. Tsubaki shakes her head in refusal and starts to apologize that it is all her fault that he got into an accident. Kyouta asks what kind of stupid stuff she is talking about, when it is because he was lazy in going up the pedestrian bridge. “I’m to blame for crossing the street and it’s really bad luck.” To teary-eyed Tsubaki’s shock, Kyouta sits up and throws away his oxygen mask. [I think Tsubaki rushes to him so] Kyouta pulls her to him and asks what the heck is she talking about it is better for them to break up. Shaking and crying, Tsubaki says that because of her, that day, he lost Professor Kaminaga’s recommendation. “I..do not want to be always your stumbling block.. I do not want to continue on giving you trouble..”
Tsubaki is surprised when Kyouta says that it is indeed troublesome. When Tsubaki is going to apologize, Kyouta shouts, “It’s obviously not your fault yet you one-sidedly feel downcast [about it]! Are you abnormally stubborn? Hey, ten thousand years second Showa girl! You don’t have enough qualifications to become my stumbling block!” Suddenly, Kyouta becomes dizzy and out of breath that he falls back on the bed. [It seems that Kyouta also has a broken leg.] Aghast, Tsubaki tells him to wear the oxygen mask. She tells him to let her go so that she can help her put it on. Instead, Kyouta holds on to her wrist tightly and says, “Next time, when you encounter some trouble, you ought to talk it out clearly with me. Don’t say such stupid stuff again! Do not leave.. *weak smile* Accompany..me..” He lets go of her and falls asleep. Tsubaki holds his hand and starts crying while smiling. Then, the nurse comes in and asks if Kyouta is wake since it is quite lively [/noisy] there. The nurse is surprised that Kyouta is sleeping again. She complains that even the oxygen mask and the pulse oximeter are thrown on the floor. After attaching those things back on Kyouta, the nurse is checking on the IV. Gripping her arm tight to stop herself from shaking, Tsubaki asks if Kyouta will be okay. The nurse informs her that the abdomen surgery is a success in stopping Kyouta’s internal hemorrhage though unfortunately, he fractured some bones [<- right arm and leg] but since he is young, he ought to quickly recover. Exhausted Tsubaki sighs in relief and says that’s good. The nurse tells her that even if she is really worried about him, it is already late so she should go home. Holding the metal bed post tight, Tsubaki says that Kyouta’s father hasn’t arrived yet. The nurse tells her that she heard that his father has some official matters to attend to so he’ll come tomorrow morning. Not wanting to leave, Tsubaki bows and begs the nurse to let her stay with Kyouta until tomorrow morning. The nurse looks a bit perplexed but she agrees. The nurse tells her that she will go and get a blanket for Tsubaki. Tsubaki thanks the nurse. The nurse asks her if she can contact his family again. Tsubaki hurriedly opens her cellphone to call but the nurse informs her that it is against the doctor’s rules to use a cellphone at the patients ward so please make the call at the ground floor. After the nurse left, Tsubaki mutters, “Ground floor..” Tsubaki then closes the flip of her cellphone. She sits down on the chair next to Kyouta then, puts her cellphone inside her pocket. She smiles and pats sleeping Kyouta’s head. “Tsubaki-kun..I will always stay by your side!”
Wow, it was such an emotional roller coaster day for Tsubaki. I think she is physically and emotionally drained from running around and letting her imagination go wild. What Kyouta told her is nice and hopefully, that will stop or at least lessen her self-destructive, blame, etc tendencies. I hope that the next chapter will not be about the consequences of not going down and calling for a brief period. ^^; I’m thinking if this will make her clingy to him because she would fear about losing him. Anyway, the next chapter will be out in Japan on Feb 5th. I think it is just like Margaret wherein there will be only one issue this month instead of two issues to give the authors a break which is supposedly during the holidays. Also, volume 11 will be out on Feb 25 and an anime DVD. Scans by 77kkmh.com
