Manga: I had finished reading Vampire Juujikai: Record of the Fallen Vampire. I didn’t expect it to be such a tragedy. I really feel sorry for the vampire king. Everyone is out to kill him because he wanted to free the vampire queen. He even had the black swan which emerges on different women who is pretty much his assassin, every time he kills the one with the black swan mark. It turned out that everything they thought of him is wrong and he is actually quite pitiful. The black swan turned out to be his lover + unborn child’s soul used by the lover’s mother to kill him because of the forbidden love. He doesn’t want to be killed yet because he has to stop this huge meteor thing that is going to destroy the earth and to do that, he has to free the vampire queen. In the end, he finally gets to rest from such a hard life, being punished for some sin, after finishing what he has to do. I really find vampire king [forgot his name and I pretty much read the Chinese..and pretty much browsed through this series ^^; ] is really cute especially when he eats sweets and goofing around. It feels really bad when in the last few chapters, he has to say goodbye or rather spend his last moments with the others...it sucks to have a favorite character rip. *sniff, sniff* At least, he can be with his lover and child to the ‘moon’. ^_^ [Pics below are some example of his cute-ness ^_^ though the ones where he is in black are the few moments before he died. ;_; though these kind of scenes are quite few throughout the series.]

Another vampire series, Blood+ has ended on chapter 20. I like how they ended this as compared to the manga. I will write more about what happened through summary form entries later on. Volume 3 of Blood Alone is pretty much like the first two volumes. Misaki likes Kuroe chapters as they do different things, a little misunderstanding and I think Kuroe’s sempai has started to fall for him, too. Still nothing about the guy Misaki fears and who took Kuroe’s sister. I guess this is somewhat episodic like Yotsubato! ^^;; Anyway, it is still a cute series though I don’t like it when the author sometimes leaves the face blank. ^^;; Zombie Loan volume 7 continued where volume 6 left. They are currently competing with A Loan and they need to get to get the target money of killing zombie else, they will be disband. That would mean death for Chika and probably Michiru. It turned out that the boss of A Loan is an enemy. As of volume 7, they were trapped in the school with ‘controlled’ humans. Chika has gone a bit crazy because of staying there too long that with the help of Nao, Michiru ‘dives’ in to his mind to save him. Then, Chiba met Shiba in his fake-shinigami form. The last scene is Kuze, dorm head, saving Shito and others as they try to escape that dimension. The new revelation here is that Chika seemed to have been neglected and starved by his mother/parents that is why he is loves money. I begin to think that his current father could be a stepfather or well, if he is the real father, he didn’t know what his wife is doing to Chika. I have read part of Silver Diamond volume 9 and 10. There are pages missing but then, nothing much happened. They just cleared a misunderstanding with the woman ghost and make friends with this girl demon clad attacking with birds. The rock monster that Kinren has sent turned out to finish off Kazihi and others who are still underground. I guess it is still pretty much letting everyone know about Rakan as the satome.

I have also browsed through Rosario + Vampire up to chapter 22. At first, I thought rosario is a name, it turned out to mean rosary. This is a light shounen series and seemed to be a rip off of Love Monster. ^^; Normal boy got into monster school, fell for a vampire who most of the time sucks his blood. Then gets a succubus and a witch as his friends/admirers...much later on, a snow fairy as stalker. ^^; Like Love Monster, all sorts of monsters kept on picking on him or the vampire. Since this is shounen, if the boy pulls the rosary from the vampire’s necklace, she powers up and beats the enemy to a pulp. Later on, they have a werewolf sempai and have a newspaper club. Oh yeah, it is forbidden to have humans in the school, they get killed and the school is pretty much for monsters who can’t cope living in the human world so most of them hates humans. At first, only the vampire knows that he is human but later on, his secret is out among his friends though they cared for him enough not to care that he is human. Things get messy when the enemies become stronger and almost got the boy killed that the vampire has to temporarily make him a vampire but around chapter 20, it seems that doing that isn’t good for him though it makes him really powerful rather than have the others kept on saving him. The characters are likeable. The story is ordinary that I can more or less categorize it into two: either they fight against enemies who wanted to hurt/kill them or enemies who just misunderstood and became their friends later on. The art is okay though at times, it is a bit weird in a sense the proportion or pose seems to be wrong.

Anime: I had finished two series. The first one is Asatte no Houkou. They had finally gone back to the original age of their bodies though the ‘older’ pairing seemed a bit forced and the ending rushed but still, it is an okay series. The other one is Kanon and the final pairing does seemed forced too like they seemed to be teasing and everything but then, suddenly they fell in love with each other but then, overall the story is pretty good. Of all the girls, I think that Naiyuki’s is a bit short. I had actually thought that all the girls by the end would be ‘dead’. ^^;; Just like Air, by the end scene, the lead girl has an ‘accidental’ haircut. Hehe Bleach and Naruto Shippuden are pretty good now in contrast to D. Gray-man which made me pretty much want to skip a lot of scenes and they edited out the fun parts. I guess it is a problem with the ‘execution’ of the scenes from manga to anime. Ghost Hunt’s bloody labyrinth arc is really scary. I think it is the scariest of all the arcs. I had actually cheated and checked out the manga so on the scary scenes of the chase and meeting with the ‘monster’ [forgot his name] I just covered my eyes. ^^;;; It is one case that they weren’t able to exorcist. The story is about this sickly guy who wanted to live longer so after learning of a ritual of bathing in young people’s blood he started killing off people who are in the house. The next owners then feared of the secret being known so they construct some sort of maze in the house. The one they can’t exorcist is the sickly guy ghost who became a ‘demon’. Jigoku Shoujo Futakomori is okay and some of the stories are pretty interesting – fighting over a cat that they send each other to hell ^^;, trying to get a student to send a teacher to hell because she doesn’t want to go to hell, etc.

Red Garden is still okay as they learned the truth that they won’t become normal again and would lose their memories. Then, lots of dramatics. ^^; As usual, Saiunkoku Monogatari is like it should be really good but how the story turns out, it isn’t. So, the two governors managed to get to that province and expose who are out to get them. I don’t quite like Shurei somewhat falling for that pink haired purple lip Sa second son. I guess she is weak against guys who had fallen for her. ^^; I do think that that guy is killed off easily or well, maybe he isn’t devious enough. Haven’t he thought that he could actually use Seiran to somewhat ‘force’ Shurei to like him? Maybe he knows it is useless and wants Shurei to like her voluntarily. Anyway, they will pretty much clean up what happened there and finally become official governors. Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kenpuchou episode 4 isn’t that good with that crow guy, I find the story a bit lame and episode 5 has become a ‘save the damsel in distress’ I then just thought the series could be a bit like Zenki. Iirc, Zenki has to retrieve ‘nuts’ which goes to people who have evil intentions and Zenki beat them up, eat the nut demon and people go back to normal. Here, the enemy is like bringing up the evil intentions of people and makes them into ‘monsters’ to harm other people. I do hope the antique owner guy is being careful, he is already being observed. Code Geass is still entertaining except for episode 20. I’m surprised by the sudden confession and it is a bit cheesy. Lelouch is such a lazy bum, he had to get CC to pilot his new toy mecha. I hope he will be extra careful next time when confronting Suzaku as Zero, else, he might really end up dead. For the rest of the anime on the list, I haven’t able to watch them for a few months now. ^^;

Drama:I had somewhat lost interest in Goong S but then, that isn’t surprising, I tend to get bored with Korean dramas midway ^^; It is already halfway and suddenly become prince guy wanted to be serious in becoming prince so that he would know who kicked out his mother from the palace. So far, it is pretty much practicing before the competition against the wannabe prince. They are still fighting for the girl and it is amazing she isn’t booted out as maid with all the blunders she had made. Actually, her friend should be the one booted out for she spend most of her time playing handheld games. ^^;; The awful outfits are coming out again, ugh. I skipped a lot of scenes and just asked my mom what happened. Himitsu no Hanazono is still fun to watch as it is close to ending. I’m guessing that the girl would be ‘adopted’ into the four brothers family later on. They haven’t realize how much she means to them until she left. I wonder if Hinata being adopted is the only secret they kept. I am actually expecting like their father’s had actually caused the death of Hinata’s father/parents that to compensate, they adopted Hinata. I didn’t expect that girl to be the one who will be exposing the secret to the bbs. I’m thinking it is either evil intentions or she just wanted to help the brothers live their own lives and get Wataru. ^^;; I only managed to watch episode 2 and 3 of Hana Yori Dango 2 but it is quite enjoyable even though I pretty much know what happened. Domyouji’s fiancé is introduced though she didn’t quite like him at first, she ended up liking him. Domyouji and Tsukasa are still not admitting their feelings to each other or rather, deny their own feelings. I don’t think they will show the amnesia thing in this second part. This series has ended in Japan. It is already time for the new season of dramas and well, anime, too.

Weekly Jump Update: Naruto, Bleach and D. Gray-man

There is no One Piece this week. In Naruto [c. 346], Kabuto asked Sasuke which one is he. Sasuke showed him that he ‘absorbed’ Orochimaru so Orochimaru is pretty much ‘dead’. Meanwhile, back to Naruto and others eating ramen. Kakashi remembers the autopsy discussion with Tsunade and Yamato regarding Kakuzu that up to the cell level, his charka/power is cut down and stopped from forming. Tsunade warned that Naruto’s arm also had milder effects so he is forbidden to use it again for such an injury can’t be healed. Kakashi is about to tell Naruto about it but Naruto stopped him by saying he already know for he knows his own body and he will take care of himself for he will become hokage. Back to Sasuke, he freed this guy from a glass-tube experiment container. Sasuke asked Suigetsu [water moon] to come with him. I guess that guy’s power is water based as from the picture, only from his chest above. So much for Orochimaru..I do wonder if Sasuke can use Orochimaru’s powers. Since this is shounen, I’m not really counting out that he is really dead yet. Well, where does that leave Kabuto?

In Bleach [c. 267], Aroniro rants about not knowing that Rukia can do such spells that Byakuya knows. Rukia is surprised that he knows that. Rukia became confident in defeating him knowing that he isn’t Kaien. Aroniro tells her not to look down on him for he can use his power even if there is a bit of shadow. He then changes his face back to Kaien. He admits that he doesn’t know why there is a sky there and it is a hassle for him who needs darkness to use his powers. He then says that he is the only guillian [those huge pointy nose hollow] in espada. He explains that he can evolve for when the hollow that has merged with Kaien went back to huenco mundo, he ate it and gained its power for that is his power. Rukia is shock to learn that she isn’t mistaken for Aroniro’s body is indeed Kaien’s so he remembers all the memories and techniques of Kaien using it when he needs to. He then released his power as he becomes a really giant blob, big like buildings since Rukia looked pretty small with his body at the center. Aroniro proudly shows the product of the 33,650 hollows he ate, complete with all their powers so how could she defeat them when she is only one. Rukia prepares her stance as she apologizes to Kaien that because she killed him, that the hollow is able to take Kaien’s body in order to save herself and she has also wrong in thinking before that killing him will save Kaien [from being used]. Rukia got hit as she thought that she no longer has the power to fight against him, so goodbye. She quickly uses her zanpaku to shield Aronico’s spear but it broke her zanpaku and stabbed her in the stomach. Ouch. Aronico pushes it further in as he laughs. The last scene is of a flashback of Kaien’s back. Well, since this is shounen, Rukia won’t die. I do wonder if she can fight back later on since the chapter ended with a flashback scene. Would she somehow manage to gather her strength and fight back – even win? At this rate, it seemed that the espada are too overly powerful with Sado and possibly Rukia down. Renji might be next.

Everyone is already sat on the long table with exorcists on one side while Tiki at the other in D. Gray-man [c. 111]. Tiki tells Allen not to look at him suspiciously. Rhode hugs Allen telling him that she has already prepared the door out. Allen says it will be good if it leads outside. Rhode giggles. Rinali is overly tense over the possibility of Kanda and Crowley being dead. Rabi holds her hand and tell her to relax for Allen is doing his best. Rinali then stops herself from worrying and decided to stay firm. Allen asks what Tiki wanted to ask, is it his left hand. Tiki smiled and says he was sure he destroyed it. Allen confidently showed it saying that it is obvious it isn’t. Tiki wonders if it is the innocence on his left hand that made him live even after his heart is eaten by his tease/butterfly. Rabi and Rinali freak out knowing that Allen is gravely injured. Allen thought that he wanted to keep it a secret. Allen said the innocence became part of his heart so it is okay now. Rabi then begins to think that what happened to Allen is like Rinali saved by their innocence and that both are ‘different’ so it can’t be said that Rinali is the ‘heart’ innocence for there are two ‘different’ cases. Rhode then asks Rabi if he is finished recording. This surprises Rabi as he realized that Rhode is observing him. Rabi quickly look sideways.

Tiki asked Rhode to get away from Allen but Rhode kept on clinging to him as she protests. Tiki said that he isn’t that serious about doing the Count’s scenario. A tease then goes near Rinali that Allen quickly killed it off telling Tiki if he tries to do something to his comrades, he might definitely kill them. Allen says to Rinali to believe in him for he will defeat Tiki. He quickly rushes off on the table to confront Tiki. Tiki prepares to attack as he says that he doesn’t hate Allen but. He begins to make tease from his hand. Rabi is going to help Allen but he is prevented from intruding by Rhode. Rhode tells him that Rabi has to deal with her. Allen then attacks Riki with many teases flying around. So, it is Tiki vs Allen and Rhode vs Rabi. It is amusing that both Noahs are interested in Allen. Rinali and Chaoji are pretty much bystanders. I do wonder if Rinali will get back her power by the time they escape from that ark. I do wonder if it is really either Allen or Rinali has the heart innocence or could it just be 100% synchronization with the innocence that their innocence saved them.

Penguin Revolution [Chapters 25 - 27]

Yukari sees from the billboard tv on a building that Peacock’s movie, Dream Stairway, is a hit and many people are interested in it. Yukari goes to watch it with this girl classmate, I think. The girl asks Yukari if the Ryou ‘girl’ in the movie is a relative of ‘Ryou’ vice-pres at school. She says they have the same ‘feeling’ when meeting them and Ryou is really good. Yukari thought that it seems that Ryou has finally spread his wings. When they got their tickets, the girl exclaims that it is a hit that even some guys are watching it. Yukari asks the girl if she wants to buy some food but the girl says no for she wanted to concentrate on watching. She then overheard some people saying that compared to Yasuoka movie, Angel Fragment, they quickly forgot about it. Yukari thought that their movie quickly become the talk of the town after Angel Fragment and it seems that the president is really great to have thought of doing this movie as counter-attack. [So that this won’t be confusing, the movie is about the president’s love story with Youko and what really happened. They changed the names. The president is Muroi played by Ayaori. Youko is Misa played by Ryou. The president is Yasuoka played by Narazaki.]

The movie starts with Muroi, unshaven, waking up and shaves. Fangirls/audience are drooling. Yukari thought that Ayaori got the role right for he does seem to be the president. He then argues with some guy regarding a talent/showbiz person not making enough money should be dropped off. The guy tries to say that the showbiz person has talent. Muroi says then the problem will be him for not being able to get good projects for the talent. Later on, at the bar, he goes to complain to Satake, his friend and co-manager for talent agency. Satake is played by the Peacock number two, Moto. And later on, the first time Muroi met Misa – glasses with pigtails was when he hold on her arm that she called him, pervert and kicked him in the stomach. Soon, under the president’s guidance, Misa became a stunning beauty and he fell in love with her. Yukari blushed as she thought that Ayaori’s reaction is like he is really in love. Youko also blushed back while looking at him as Yukari realized that Misa also liked the president. Yukari then thought that she already engrossed in the movie that she totally forgot who is playing who, it is work, etc. Muroi is then angry why they don’t give a break to Misa as the other person says that it is the president’s order. Muroi is frustrated as Misa tries to cheer him up. Muroi apologized to Misa for not being able to get her the break she needs. With some encouragement from Misa about why did Muroi developed her and he replied because she has a great potential, he decided to form his own talent agency. Satake also quit the company as the president says that he will regret it. So, it is all a gamble.

Muroi is surprised to learn that Satake is getting married and if the company is more stable, they will have a date. Muroi felt downcast for their company has no money yet that he apologizes to Satake. Satake said that he is already prepared for that. That is how they formed their company, Heaven. Satake teased Muroi about his love life but Muroi says that he feels a bit hesitant in being with Misa – probably because he is just a poor talent manager. Misa is actually eavesdropping on them. Another scene showed Muroi arguing with a person that he is suppose to use his talent but that person apologizes as it seems that their former company is out to destroy their reputation. Muroi didn’t give up. At a place where their former company is going to introduce newcomers, the camera is then focused on Misa while in the audience. Misa smiles then leaves. At the camera van, Satake says that is really a great idea when Muroi goes out and met Misa who is also running. Muroi asked if she was looking at him [at the camera]. Misa blushed. Muroi then give her a deep kiss while hugging her. [Eh..if only Misa isn’t played by Ryou ^^;;] The girls are on a high about the kiss even Yukari and her friend even though they had watched the movie before. The friend has watched it for the 7th time.

Back to the movie, their gimmick worked for everyone is looking for the girl from the audience that was shown in show. Then, a director wanted a star and while watching the tv, he also saw Misa and wanted to cast her. Soon, they realize she is a talent of Heaven company. Muroi is estatic over the offers and that they will be famous but to his surprise, Satake looked downcast. Satake said that his wife [I’m assuming they have married] had just died from childbirth. In the hospital, looking at the baby, Satake said that the name of the boy is ‘Yukari’. – [that is what kanji-romanji translated it ^^;;] The audience then begin to wonder if that baby is actually Ayaori and Satake is his father. Satake then said that he will work double for the part of the mother in taking care of the child. Muroi cries and said that is right. The audience were a bit teary eyed. [I wonder because of what Satake said or is it because Ayaori himself is touched by what his father said.] After the funeral, at his house, Satake is exhausted as he brought home the ‘ashes’ of his wife [ I think that is that package was] Someone then came and to his surprise, it is the president. The president then gave him some money as donation. [Okay, I’m not sure how this is called in West or if this tradition is practiced, here, when someone dies, you give them ‘money’ aside from flowers, etc as a token of concern, respect or help to the family left by dead.] Satake noticed that the envelope is quite thick and said that he can’t accept that much money. The president said that he should take it for he is worried about him for he needs all the money he can get to take care of the baby. At the hospital, Satake looked at the baby as he said that he still has the baby so he should do his best. Muroi smiled from behind.

Misa then acted at the film as the director told Muroi not to be bothered with the other company for he [Muroi] will be pretty busy later on. Soon, they have an offer for a commercial as Muroi is pretty happy as he chat with Misa. Later at the doctor, Satake learned from the doctor that the baby has cancer though it is still at a curable stage though he would need lots of money. He later goes to see the baby as he looked in despair yet determined, remembered Muroi being happy. At some place, Muroi comes back to see Misa reading a book called Dream Stairway saying that it is interesting. They then talked about some stuff on acting and a stage play about it used to be played by the mother of the president [former company]. Misa said she wanted to do it. Muroi then says that he will try to get it for her as they are about to kiss. Meanwhile, Satake went to the president who said that he is expecting him. Soon, Misa is already very famous as the press are really awed by her. She later on get to win awards. While it is shown on tv, Muroi and Satake looked on happily for they have succeed. Muroi then asks Satake about the baby as Satake says that he is okay though he doesn’t like to talk/mix his personal life with business. He changes the topic that for now, the important thing is to get Misa to do Dream Stairway.

The baby’s operation is successful but it turned out that there has to be some further treatments. Satake is angry about it for he thought everything is finished with the operation. The president then came and told him not to worry for they would just move the baby to a better hospital and he should just help him return what is his – Misa. He will let Satake see the baby if he agreed to do it. At their place, Satake is thinking about it when Misa asked if he is alright. Satake said it is nothing when Muroi came in with good news that they got the part for Dream Stairway. That is their most happiest moment but then it didn’t last long for at that play, fate had intervened. In the play, Misa plays her role wonderfully. [It is where Yukari first saw Youko with her wings] The president is also watching. The president henchman then goes to Satake and took an envelope from him as Satake looked downcast. The envelope is then given to the president. At the dressing room, Muroi praises Misa for her work when Satake came in to apologize for interrupting them. Satake says that the car is ready so they can leave now. The two were embarrassed for being caught as Muroi tells Satake to go with Misa first for he still has some work to do. Before leaving, Muroi thanks Satake for being there else they won’t be where they are now. Satake says not to be that thankful or else, he will be embarrassed.

While Satake is driving Misa home, Misa asked Satake if he is okay for he looked pale. Satake said it is just a small matter. After dropping Misa off, Satake told her to rest and good luck tomorrow [for the next performance]. After he left, Misa called a taxi to follow Satake’s car. At the president’s office, Satake prostrate down to him as the president tossed the papers. The president is angry that Satake didn’t gave him the contract papers of Misa and Heaven. Satake begged the president not to do anything to Misa. He is really grateful for what he did for his son’s illness and he will return the money twice, or rather thrice back. The president said that he isn’t interested in the father-son. He grabbed Satake’s shirt and angrily said that he wanted to get Misa and if he didn’t. The phone then rang as the president answered it, saying let her wait. The president then smiled and told Satake that Misa is there so why don’t he rest a little bit. A bodyguard is walking beside Misa as she asked if Satake is really there for they are walking for some time. The bodyguard said that they will be there soon enough. A mobile phone is ringing as Misa passed by a door. Satake, shaking answered his phone. It is Muroi who asked where is Satake for he isn’t at their office. Muroi arrived with a large bouquet of flowers and started to remove his tie. Muroi then asked if he is sleepy. Satake says that he is a bit but he is already awake, he will go there immediately. Satake is on the sofa as he tries to get up. Muroi is about to say it is okay.

After Satake manages to sit up, he then begins to thank Muroi for because of him, he managed to achieve his dream. Muroi becomes concerned and asked what is the matter for he is acting a bit strange. Satake struggled to stand up and said that they will meet later on. Muroi tries to keep him on the line but Satake has already hung up the phone. Breathing hard, Satake manages to go to the door and open it. He must have called her that Misa quickly ran to him as they quickly tried to escape. Misa asked Satake what is all this about. Satake said that he will explain later and the important thing now is to lose the car trailing them. Misa looked back and is surprised that a car is indeed coming near them. He shouted for her to sit in a safe place as he tries to lost the car. Then, he paused saying that it would be dangerous if he is driving. Misa quickly asked if he is alright, what did they do to him. Satake said he is just a bit sleepy. Then, there is a huge truck in front of them. Misa didn’t see it since she is looking at him. Satake quickly tries to cover Misa. His last words were Muroi, I’m really happy for being able to be with you and Misa but I’m sorry, I wasn’t able to say anything. He will leave ‘Yukari’ the baby, to him to take care. Muroi then had a feeling as he looked back and said Satake and Misa’s name.

I have actually deliberately delayed summarizing these few chapters because I don’t quite like the idea of flashback ala movie because I kept thinking it is unrealistic and won’t they be sued for it since they are portraying real life people here. But then, maybe not since that would mean Yasuoka admitting guilt. Next, Ryou playing his mother doesn’t sit well to me. Argh, the kiss, I somewhat dreaded to see that and it came true. I kept on thinking his major debut is acting as a girl. ^^; Won’t he be typecast later on? Do they actually know she is a he? From the audience reaction, they don’t. I do wonder who the two boys are imagining when they are doing the love scenes – doing it with whom? Yukari? To the story, I really feel sorry for the president/Muroi. It really sucks to have your wife and best friend dead on the same day. No wonder he took in Ayaori for it is really rare for a person to take in the child of the person who got one’s spouse killed. No wonder he is really angry with the president that he made this film. Yasuoka is destroying the memory of his friend and indirectly killed his wife and best friend, now he is trying to destroy Ayaori, his best friend’s son’ career. Yasuoka is just plain evil to have used Satake’s kid as blackmail just to get to Youko. He must have drugged Satake using incense like what he did to Ryou before. It seems as if he is a yakuza or gangster at the way he handles his business – blackmail and drugging. He must have regretted not getting Youko to be famous or not seeing her potential. He lost twice that he ‘gave up’on Ayaori. The guy doesn’t really see a potential talent when he sees one. Actually, Ayaori pretty much owes his life to Yasuoka though I don’t think Ayaori would want to work for that guy, who indirectly killed his father. I won’t be surprised if it is Yasuoka is the one who spread the rumors about Ayaori’s father being a drug addict that caused Youko’s death. I think that Satake is a pretty much secretive guy and as he said, he doesn’t mix business with personal life so he never told the others about his son’s illness. He must have thought that if they knew, they won’t be able to use the money to help Misa’s career for they would be helping him for the operation. In the end, he is still a good friend for he didn’t sell out his friend and even tricked Yasuoka. I do wonder where the story is going next. It is becoming like a soap opera. ^^; I do wonder if the trio of the president-Youko-friend will be like Yukari-Ryou-Ayaori.

Weekly Jump: Gintama [155-156]

Chapter 155: Gin tried to calmly sit as Yabukiba present evidence that Gin in the last two chapters ago, Gin is caught peeking on a girl that he was taken in by the police for questioning so it is like a pervert defending a pervert. The audience are now screaming that both of them being both perverts as the judge asks for them to quiet. Taizou is freaking out for he didn’t expect Yabukiba to check on Gin’s background. Yabukiba looked at them confidently as they went to their imaginary – dog and goat mascot outfits as they are falling down the cliff. Heidi is below as she screams for them to come down for they will never attain happiness. Gin is clinging on the side of the cliff as Taizou asks for Gin to quickly think of a way out. Gin objects as he tries to defend himself but Yabukiba counter object saying that it is for he is a lawyer and he shouldn’t be a pervert. Gin angrily shouted not to compare himself to Taizou. A silent pause in the court. Yabukiba then shouted see, even the defense lawyer is admitting that his client’s crime. Both fell down the imaginary cliff as Taizou shouted what is he doing, wasn’t he suppose to defend him. Gin tries to shout, I object, I didn’t mean what I said. As they struggle, Yabukiba says that the judge should get rest the case.

Taizou shouted to wait as he confessed about Yabukiba’s offer to get him release if he signed the divorce papers of his wife since Yabukiba is going out with his wife and wanted to be with her. He then says that it doesn’t matter what happens to him as long as he can save his wife. The judge asks Yabukiba if this is true. Yabukiba says it is. The audience were shocked. He says but wanting to be with his wife isn’t true. Taizou says that isn’t true for he said it himself. Yabukiba asks does he have evidence, if he has, why don’t he show proof of their conversation. Gin objects saying that the picture shows that he is interested in Taizou’s wife. Yabukiba says that the picture is just a coincidence when he is talking with the wife and someone with evil intent will only misinterpret it. In imaginary world, Heidi has already eaten dog Taizou and goat Gin as Yabukiba defends the picture and that everything they said about him and Taizou’s wife is a lie so now, they no longer have anything to say why don’t the judge give the sentence. The judge then asks the defendant Taizou and defense lawyer Gin if they have any objections. Heidi then explodes as Gin shouted, I object. Everyone is surprise. Dog Taizou got out, too as he says it is..Clara. He is now on Gin, wearing wig and on wheelchair. Gin says he has more evidence about it as Shinpachi and Kagura shows them more pictures of Yabukiba with Hatsu, Taizou’s wife.

Yabukiba tries to defend himself saying that he really loves her and that there is no proof of Taizou and Hatsu love of each other. Gin then tells a story about their story that Hatsu preparing a suit for Taizou which he wore everyday at his work. Since he got fired, Hatsu has bowed down to the company to at least give her the suit and asks for forgiveness. When Taizou saw that, he tore the suit he is wearing and bows with his wife, crying and asking for apology. [Sorry, too lazy to check that out detailedly. ^^;] So, whenever Taizou goes to find a job, he will always wear that suit that they had tearfully begged for. Taizou embarrassed shouted as to why Gin is telling that embarrassing story. Gin says because Taizou didn’t even wear the new suit that was given to him as he tosses the bundle to the audience shouting that guy won’t wear the suit you prepared. A woman picks it up saying that guy is pretty stubborn then starts to leave. Taizou looks back and wonders if it is Hatsu. The judge says the case has ended and Taizou is guilty – guilty of making his wife cry so his punishment is to quickly go back to his wife. Taizou cries in happiness. The judge says they will discuss Yabukiba’s conduct later on and the porno dvd confiscated will be taken for safe-keeping. Gin shouted why does he want to watch those. The case has ended as Gin asks why didn’t Yabukiba objected. Yabukiba says that he doesn’t want that kind of victory for he wants a woman to really love him and he would want to depend on himself also, the kind of person isn’t my kind of competition – a woman who loves him, friends who care, makes one admire him. Taizou is running out to Hatsu but he falls down the stairs just as Shinpachi and Kagura asks for a victory speech. They were shock to find Taizou doing the carry over his shoulder with legs apart pose on Hatsu as Taizou cries. Poor Taizou, he just doesn’t have any luck. I guess the judge is moved by his story that he thought Taizou wouldn’t do such things on other women.

Chapter 156: Kagura eating that dried thing asks if there is something wrong with her for she is quite listless – her body is heavy and she doesn’t have energy. Gin asks if it is a cold for isn’t it weird when she just sleeps and eats. Shinpachi holding a thermometer says that Gin has no right to say that [since he is also like that] though Kagura doesn’t have a fever. The scene then shows that Kagura has become fat as Gin says that Kagura seemed the same so could it be the start of a cold. Kagura says her other symptoms and that she also has a hard time standing. Gin says that Kagura is indeed sick so he will bring her to the hospital so Shinpachi should stay in case they have a client. Gin carries Kagura on his back as Shinpachi tries to say that doesn’t think it is a cold. As Gin walks, the floor started to break until they both fell down to the floor below. Shinpachi asks if it is heavy. Gin says he is too late saying that. At the park, Kagura laments what had happened to her as she is envious of the children playing around in compared to her used up her youth, eating. She leaves as she thought in a world of being beautiful, it is like hell for her so she has to fight a battle of reducing but it won’t work with her alone, so she will get a friend to help her.

She goes to Otae who tell her to eat Häagen-Dazs ice cream and she will feel good and that is a way to reduce. It turned out that Otae has also become fat. From above, Sacchan peeks below saying that they are in trouble for if they have bodies like that they won’t become princess, so relax, the only one who can make Gin happy is her. Sacchan fell down from the ceiling revealing that she is also fat. They then said that they realize that this fight will be against themselves. They then went to a monstery where someone can help them. Upon arriving there, they realized that there are many fat women there and there are even some famous ones. While eating natto, Sacchan says that some just came as if it is game, why don’t they leave for she is serious in coming here. Otae tells her to leave then. Sacchan denies that she came there because she is fat, she claims that she is like that because she carries Gin’s baby. Otae kicks her saying how about giving birth now, congrats. Kagura then notices that even Otose and Catherine are there. As they argue and insult each other, Otae noticed that even Kyuu is there. Otae asks for a real reason why she is there. Kyuu says that she wanted to have muscles but it turned out like that but her stalker-servant said that it is a lie for she really wants to increase her chest size. Kyuu promptly kicks him.

An old woman then came screaming about hating to see these kind of people becoming fat and that the problem isn’t about being fat but how they think of themselves. After some more sermons, the old woman tells them to come in front one by one as they look at the mirror she is holding – to spit on the mirror and shout ‘xxxx’ at themselves. Everyone is doing it but Otae is hesitant. The old woman repimands her that Otae became angry and instead of doing it on the mirror, she did it on the old woman. The old woman shouted that Otae deliberately did that as Otae denies it. Sacchan also curses as she whips the old woman. The old woman shouted what is she doing as Sacchan says she wanted to do that when she saw her face on the mirror. The old woman shouted that she just have to say those x words and spit on the mirror. It is now Kagura’s turn. She did as she is told as she shouted the x words and prepared a mighty spit that it destroys the mirror and hits the old woman on the forehead and slams her to the wall. Outside the courtyard, the old woman now has a bandage on her forehead, shouts something about working them and they won’t have that much to eat but they will get to have only a piece of potato chip [ I think it is Calbee brand ^_^ ] per person.

Kyuu asks how could they live with just a piece of chip. Kagura protests for she doesn’t like that flavor of potato chip. The old woman then says how about the smell they want but they can’t eat it and whoever eats one will fail/out. Sacchan then says that she wants mayonnaise smell. Otae shouted for her to stop that and asks the old woman, why can they only smell the chip and not eat it. The old woman says, she said they cannot eat their own chip. Everyone then realized that it is a survival fight, they have to get the other person’s chip to survive – to kill for the chip of others. The old woman then says that it is like their lives is as important as that chip. Kyuu then raises her hand asking for an Italian vanilla smell. Someone shouted you’re crazy. The first time I read this I wonder if it is spoofing that reality show I saw before on tv news about a boot camp to reduce – saying that it is bad. I can’t say if that is where the shouting and spitting on the mirror came from. The last part though reminds me of a certain movie – maybe like battle royale – killing each other for something. I somehow feel sorry for the old woman here ^^; Hope she won't be gravely injured after the 'battle' ends.

Flashback: Ririko is standing in front of VBR as she wonders what should she do 1. See Aoi or 2. Go and disturb the others while at work. She chooses one but after a brief thought, she decided on two though she really wanted to see Aoi. Blushing, she turned around while carrying her umbrella. Then, she bumped into Aoi. She apologized as Aoi asked if she is okay as he held up her umbrella to her. Ririko blushed as she thanked him. Aoi said that it seems to start to snow already as the snow is falling down. Ririko then noticed that Aoi is carrying a bag so she asked wasn’t he at the store. Aoi smiled ans says he wasn’t for he went to buy some cloth and silk flowers. Ririko asked where is Yukari. Aoi said that he went with Lan to the zoo. Ririko is shocked for she just saw Lan going out alone. She rushed in VBR to find Yukari sitting near the post of the store, ‘frozen’ [he is like stiff and not reacting even if Ririko is in front of him] She dropped her umbrella in shock and quickly calls for Aoi. He is puzzled as Ririko points out Yukari that Aoi is alarmed and quickly runs toward Yukari, calling his name.

If Aoi came a bit later, Yukari would have gotten a bad case of pneumonia. At the living room, Lan is sitting, feeling really remorseful as Aoi is standing angrily. Aoi shouted if she knew what she just did. Lan kept silent. Aoi shouted how could she leave Yukari alone by himself, he is just five years old and does she knew what kind of feelings that Yukari had to wait for her like that. Yukari is on bed, sleeping. Aoi shouted that Yukari could have gotten pneumonia. Lan tried to say I just...time.. Aoi shouted ‘time’, the only time that she is interested in is the time for herself that she would even leave Yukari outside all alone by himself. Lan couldn’t answer as he is right. Aoi then said that it is enough, he understands, she is a failure of a mother. Lan is stunned. Aoi proceeded to remove his ring as he told her that from now on, she can do anything she wants. Lan tries to protest but Aoi then told her, let’s divorce. Lan looked really shock as Aoi puts his ring on the table. Aoi told her that he will be the one who will take care of Yukari, so goodbye Lan. Around then, Yukari woked up. End flashback.

Lan holding her arms tells Ageha that even if she doesn’t have the qualifications/right but remembering these memories opens up the painful wounds – Aoi telling her he wants to divorce and losing Yukari. Ageha looks sad for Lan. Lan continued that after she left that house, when she went to Tokyo to walk/shop around, she is discovered by a talent scout of a showbiz company where she currently works for and that is how she got into the showbiz industry. Lan says that it is because she is busy and she felt that she doesn’t have the right to see them so she never went to see them. She then says no, it is more like she is afraid because she knew in that family, there’s no place for her anymore. There is a scene of Aoi asking Ririko to help in in something as Yukari is already in high school rejoicing that he is now taller than Ririko. Ageha then asks so why did she come now. Lan looks a bit surprised and then says that someone she knew has told her that he has heard of Yukari and that there are pictures on the web. Flashback: Her hairdresser said that on his friend’s webpage, has your son’s pictures. Lan asked webpage. The hairdresser then later showed the pictures to her. [Did he just do her hair while wearing sunglasses? ^^;;] Lan thought that it is Aoi who haven’t changed at all – still the same as that time. Lan gasped as she covered her mouth and was in tears. End flashback. Lan becomes emotional as she exclaims that she doesn’t believe, until now, she still can’t believe that Aoi is no longer here. Lan cries that she can’t go to the store nor get in touch with because she still can’t accept this reality so she didn’t went to participate in Aoi’s burial rites for if she sees Aoi’s face, she will feel really remorseful and regret as she will never have a chance to apologize and just thinking of that, she doesn’t have the courage to go. Ageha feels sorry for her.

After regaining her composure, still crying, Lan says that she doesn’t want to regret anymore so after seeing the pictures on the web, she wanted to hear the voice so she decided to call VBR by telephone. Flashback of her calling as she is really nervous that her heart is beating fast. Then, she thought that Aoi is still alive as Yukari answers the phone, this is Aisaka [Yukari’s surname]. Yukari got hung up as he thought, this again. End flashback. Lan says that she can’t say anything that she quickly hanged up the phone. She did it a few number of that times. Lan laughs that one time, a girl whom she has never heard before answered that she was extremely surprised by it. Ageha remembers as she asks if Lan was the one who kept on calling but won’t answer. Lan nods her head. Ageha shouted that girl is her. Lan pauses and then Lan screams if it was Ageha who was in the picture with Yukari as she thought Ageha looks familiar. Ageha sweatdrops and asked, did you realize that only now. Lan smiles and says that she is really impulsive that even if she has no right, she has appeared but then, after seeing the pictures on the web has made uneasy/excited – something like can’t keep still. Using the car as a gift excuse, she hurriedly went there. Though upon arriving there, it seems like the Yukari [Sakura] she had left and divorced Aoi [Yukari] has appeared before her that for a moment, she doesn’t know what happened as if time had stopped. [That is why she reacted in surprise earlier when meeting them] Ageha looks at Lan worriedly as Lan pauses and then smiles as she started to giggle. Lan says that it seems that Yukari’s character has become like Ririko as she remembers them getting angry at the same time.

Lan then looks sad as she grips her hands and say she really doesn’t have the right to see Yukari..doesn’t have the right to ask for forgiveness. Ageha looks at her and says that it is already late. Lan looks at her in surprise. Ageha tells her that regarding Yukari’s feelings, at first, she doesn’t understand how deep Yukari’s feelings/way of thinking is but if there is one whom Yukari doesn’t wanted to see the face of, he will immediately drive that person away – that is Yukari. Ageha blushed a bit as Lan calls her name. [Ageha just told her in an indirect way that if Yukari hates Lan, he would have driven her away already] Ageha then says, yup, that is the kind of person he is as she thought gloomily for she was tossed away from VBR twice. Lan puzzled a bit by that. Ageha then smiles as she stands up and offers her hand to Lan. Ageha says let’s go home to where Yukari is, no need to discuss how to do say it but just sorry and then it can be a new start. Lan looks at Ageha as she remembers the time when Aoi welcomes her back. Lan gets teary eyed and smiles as she takes Ageha’s hand and says, yes. At VBR, Ririko and Yukari are still sitting at the living room as Yukari tells Ririko that he has something he wants to tell Lan.

I really feel sorry for Lan here as she is really regretful for what had happened. I was wrong to think that Aoi won’t divorce her. ^^; I guess being unresponsible for the child is grounds for divorce though I would have preferred that they work things out. I mean, I feel awful for Yukari like when he wakes up, he finds his mother gone and so it does seem like he is waiting forever and she never came back again after she promised to come back. I get that impression since he does seemed traumatized with the ‘waiting’ incident and well, it won’t be that bad if Lan has met him before leaving so I’m guessing she didn’t meet him to say goodbye or something. Wouldn’t a child think that his mother abandoned him? I do wonder what Aoi told Yukari as the reason why Lan left. Lan must have been so guilty over what happened that she didn’t begged for forgiveness or at least give her another chance and just took it as her punishment of being deprived of her family. It is pretty obvious that Lan still loves Aoi that she doesn’t seem to have married again and well, Aoi has moved on and get married with Ririko. It does feel weird thinking that the girl Aoi used to ‘babysit’ and is like a ‘sister’ to Yukari got married with Aoi. ^^;; I guess I can somewhat empathize with Lan for it is really harsh to be told that you are a failure as a mother by your own husband. Lan just took them for granted and procrastinated about asking forgiveness that before long, Aoi has already passed away. I do wonder if that is why when Yukari with Aoi’s prodding to thank Lan for her extravagant gifts, Lan won’t return call for she is avoiding them – feeling that she has lost her right to be a mother. No wonder Yukari is a bit thoughtful while he was with Ageha in the car. The feeling is indeed weird to suddenly see your mother whom you have not seen all these years. Anyway, I’m sure the mother-son will have a heartfelt talk in the next chapter.

At the airport, Kyouko is sulking as she wondered what is she doing there fetching and taking care of a VIP even if the reason isn’t quite clearly explained. While many people [fans + press] are waiting for Kura/Shuuhei, some women ask out loud what is she and it is a mismatch – Kyouko in Love Me uniform + huge limo, could she be the one fetching Shuuhei. Kyouko asks why is she there as a Love Me member. As the press wonder if she is a Love Me member from LME or is it same play, Kyouko stood her ground with arms folded as she laments the fact that no one recognizes her for isn’t she Mio in the hit Dark Moon. It is because they couldn’t equate her Love Me uniform to the ones Mio wears. Kyouko then thought that she doesn’t have the time nor in the mood of taking care after a person for isn’t that guy a famous action star in Hollywood so why doesn’t he have his own people to take care of him. Kyouko wonders why it has to be her, she doesn’t understand. She remembers Lory telling her it is because that guy isn’t normal. Kyouko thinks that he indeed isn’t normal to have moved from Japan to US when in the US, he has to start his career from zero when he is already famous in Japan as ‘Shuuhei’. The people starts screaming as Kyouko perks up and realizes that Kuza has arrived. Kuza, tall, blond guy with lots of accessories [makes me think of a cross between Ren and Shou ^^;] comes out with two bodyguards. He waves around as the press are snapping pictures. Kyouko happily thought that he could be a nice person. To her surprise, Kuza looks at her and their eyes met. Kyouko greets him and is about to introduce herself when Kuza looked ‘evilly’ [those Ren-type stares] at her. It made her freeze as she is puzzled while her ‘anger antenna’ wakes up.

In Dark Moon, studio 3, a hairdresser is fixing Ren’s hair at the dressing room as they heard people fuzzing about Kuza’s return. She comments that even if Kuza played Ren’s part before, it isn’t like they from Dark Moon have a chance to see him. Ren says that there is still a possibility since Dark Moon is about to surpass the past rating record of the original drama so the press might ask his opinion on that. The hairdresser continues that even if Kuza is now famous, he might be curious if his past record might be broken by the same drama so the press might even say it is “Tsukimori” [original drama] vs Dark Moon. Ren started to look a bit dark that the hairdresser noticed. She quickly tells Ren that it will be alright for Ren won’t lose for Ren is better and is her type. She then becomes extremely embarrassed for she just confessed to Ren himself. Ren just smiles and remembers his talk with Lory. Flashback: Lory asked Ren if he knows Kura is coming back. Ren said he does. Lory asked him if he wants to meet with Kura even once. Ren looks really depressed/sad as Lory then said, to forget it since he isn’t going to force Ren. End flashback. Ren has finished dressing up when all of a sudden, Yashiro came in shouting for him. Ren looked surprised at him. Yashiro is frantic as he waves his arms up and down telling Ren about Kura. Ren says that he already knows that Kura is already in Japan. Yashiro says that it isn’t about that but it is..it is. Ren asks what is it. Yashiro calms down and tells Ren that he saw the demonic outfit that when you see it, you won’t forget it. Ren is still puzzled. Yashiro says even if he haven’t seen the face, there is no mistake about it, the one who came out the car is someone who has brownish hair in pink overalls. Ren then realizes who Yashiro is talking about as Yashiro says that no doubt it is Kyouko. Ren is surprised as Yashiro shouts that Kyouko is with Kura.

At a super luxurious hotel in Tokyo, in the floor where common people aren’t permitted/can’t afford to reserve because it is outrageously expensive. In that room’s kitchen, someone is breathlessly working – Kyouko with towel on her head and wearing an apron. Kyouko then shouts out in glee that she manages to finish up everything in just 30 minutes. She had just finished a Japanese set meal – the expensive type with sushi boat [you see in those hot springs/inn type, I think it is called kaiseki.] She happily praises herself as a genius for it is really of exquisite taste from Kyoto – she remembered how to make it and she learned it from working at Shou’s family inn. Kyouko then goes fired up as he wants Kura, the guy who forgotten his mother tongue, to say it is ‘delicious’ in Japanese even if he is mixed blood – born and grew in Japan. Kyouko remembers her meeting with Kura who spoke in English, You must be kidding, Did you come to pick me up? You look so strange, it is a cruel nightmare. Don’t come close to me, it is too shameful to walk with you. Kyouko is shaking in anger. End flashback. Kyouko thought that she really wanted to shout back, coming back to your homeland and you can’t speak your mother tongue! Un-nationalistic! She then bangs the wall thinking that there are many times he wanted to say that. She thought that she didn’t have a chance since two bodyguards separated her from him while in the limo. Flashback: At the hotel, Kura says that he is tired so he is going to sleep and will eat dinner at 7pm and it shouldn’t be a second late. He then tosses all his clothes on Kyouko as he begins to narrates the food he wants is like in Kyoto: rice in bucket, grilled fish, soup which has shaddock and sashimi. Kura then goes to his room, telling her to wake him up after she prepared it. End flashback.

Determined, Kyouko then calls out to Kura that she has prepared the dishes that he wants to eat. Kura comes out, eating popcorn and to Kyouko’s surprise, he comments that it seems she can understand English. Kura is already speaking in Japanese as he says that he didn’t expect her to understand what he said and it isn’t fun for he is expecting her to not be able to do his request so that he can shout to her, you useless thing then get her things and throw her out. Kyouko has this ‘what’ face. Kura finishes off his popcorn and asks what is with the bowl. He tastes the soup as Kyouko is folding his popcorn bag neatly. Kura then exclaims that it is salty. Kyouko calmly explains that it is because he ate a very salty popcorn – how could an adult snack between meals. Kura looks at her then sighs. He then calls on the phone to someone, Oku [bodyguard?] to order hotel service to give him the best there is and it doesn’t matter if it is Western food as long as it is delicious. Kyouko is shocked as she shouted, what, you said that upon arriving in Japan, you won’t want to eat Kyoto dishes so I made it, did you know how hard I worked today just do it. Kura covers his ears and says that in the kitchen, there is a very large trash which is an eyesore so could it be removed quickly. Kyouko is shock as she thought he is too much to call her a trash as she imagines being ‘Cinderella-type’ character as a pretty girl throws away all the things she made to the dogs, shouting, fool, the food you made is fitting for the dogs.

Kura puts back the phone and tells Kyouko that honestly, it is because he grew up in Kyoto that upon returning to Japan, he definitely want to eat Kyoto meals but he never said he will eat.. Looking down on kneeling Kyouko, Kura continues..a meal made badly with poor ingredients by an amateur like her just because he wanted to eat it, but if one has money, it will be alright. [He is like saying that food cooked by Kyouko isn’t worthy for him to eat for he can buy the best with money] Kyouko looked serious and asks, so, you really have no plans in eating it. Kura says that is true, so why don’t he call president [Lory] and tell him that she wanted to resign from this kind of work. Kura proceeds to call Lory, saying that he will help her call as Kyouko thought that she knew from the first time they met that for some unknown reason, this guys hates me. To his surprise, Kyouko holds his hand while he is holding the telephone. She then smiles at him as she thought even if she knows this, she isn’t the type of person to be provoked easily for no reason at all and then obediently cower away. Holding the phone, Kyouko still smiling says that if he wants to call the president, she can do it herself.

And Kura/Shuuhei has made his appearance. As I typed above, he is somewhat like Ren regarding the stare and being tall – of course being blond but everything else is like Shou – accessories and attitude. He seems like a ‘prima donna’ guy. I do wonder if that is a reason why Lory assigned her to this job since she can ‘straighten’ up problematic stars unwittingly. It also seems that whatever past Ren has is related to Kura that Ren doesn’t seem to want to meet him. I do wonder if they are somehow blood related. It isn’t a coincidence that Kura grew up in Kyoto and well, isn’t Ren there before when he met Kyouko. Could it be that Ren is stayed at Kura’s house before and maybe something happened that Kura left for the US while years later, it is Ren who stayed in Japan. It does seem that Ren is avoiding Kura. Of course, Ren didn’t expect that Kyouko will be the one ‘babysitting’ Kura. I wonder what he will do upon knowing this. I do wonder if it will somewhat lead to Kyouko knowing that Ren = Corn. Kyouko is really amazing to still remember to prepare those Kyoto meals and she luckily knows how and can understand English – maybe also from working at the inn for won’t they have foreign guests. How could Kyouko not remember Shou when Kura is treating her the same way...could it be that Shou isn’t much on her mind anymore?! Anyway, Kyouko isn’t going to easily back out from this challenge. Hehe

Renji found himself faced with Grants in Bleach [c. 265-266] only to be splattered on the floor after his hollow friend fell on him. After some theatrics, Grants is about to explain something about not being good in fighting but Renji is raring to fight as he tries to call out his bankai only for it to vanish. Grants then say that it is because his bankai won’t work in this room as he explains that the arrancar Renji defeated before in the human world is his brother. [By the way, Grants is a surname but his name is hard to remember so I’m using Grants] He hated his brother and used him as experiment by putting bugs on the body that he will get data on the enemy who defeated his enemy. Lucky for Grants, it is Renji who fell for his trap, the one whom he had a data of. Grants then gets ready to fight as he plans on killing Renji intact so that he can experiment on him as his first experiment on someone who can do bankai. Meanwhile, Rukia is having a bit of hard time defeating Aronico as Aronico claims that all of those techniques were practiced with him [as Kaien]. Aronico then activates his zanpuku and it changes into spear with water element.

They fought as Rukia tries to psyche herself that it isn’t Kaien whom she is fighting. Aronico made her lose her grip on her zanpuku when she manages to use a demon art on him. To her puzzlement, Aronico backs away when the wall is destroyed, showing the sun/light. She begins to think that Aronico lied about the sky being there because of Aizen and thought that Aronico really fears the light. She manages to hold him while she destroys more walls. To her shock, Aronico’s face turned into a glass cylinder fishbowl [reminds me of Mr. Freeze] with two hollow masks on it. Aronico says it can’t be help so he will introduce himself again as ‘we are Aronico, espada 9.’ Noticeably, one is talking while the other one seems to be sleeping. Well, Renji is going to fight with a mad scientist..at least it isn’t Ishida again. Hehehe It does seem funny seeing them colored – red hair vs pink hair with hairpins. They do look opposite of each other manly to somewhat girly ^^;; I do think that water is greater than ice though since lukewarm water melts ice. Aronico is somewhat like Neptune with that spear and well, his helmet is like a Mr. Freeze which is also water element. Hehehe I still think it is that hollow + Kaien combined so will Rukia able to fight him if he is part Kaien?

In Naruto [c. 344-346], Sasuke and Orochimaru fought each other as they showed their other ‘ugly’ forms. Sasuke reminds me of a gargoyle while Orochimaru is well, a snake. ^^; Then, Orochimaru manages to paralyze Sasuke and tries to get his body. While there, a flashback of Orochimaru meeting with Itachi who told Orochimaru that his techniques are useless against him. Orochimaru begins the ritual only to be stared at by Sasuke reminding him of Itachi. Then, Kabuto goes back to the room only to find Sasuke standing. Sasuke starts to leave as Kabuto asks which one is he – Sasuke or Orochimaru. My bet is either Sasuke or maybe two in one like Aronico of Bleach because Sasuke can’t be dead that the ‘saving Sasuke’ and ‘revenge on Itachi’ storylines will be dead. I do wonder if Kabuto will be willing to serve Sasuke or would they just separate ways.

Luffy and others were met by Cerberus who became raring to fight them in One Piece [c. 447-448] Luffy tries to tame it but get eaten that Luffy ended up punching it thus ‘taming it’ ^^; Then they passed through the place where they saw a tree and a unicorn drinking. After recovering from the initial shock, Luffy and Franky managed to capture them. Luffy wanted to make them pirates but Sanji and Zoro manages to stop him. Lol Back at the mansion, Hogback is talking with the invisible man, Absalom and Perona the ghost about capturing their prey – Luffy and others, I guess. Inside, Usopp refuses to believe that there are zombies and invisible man. They are then in the dining hall as Hildon offers to bring them to their room. Nami and others told him that they are leaving. To their surprise, the pictures and other decorations are alive as they tried to stop Nami and others from leaving since Nami and others already realized it is a trap. They managed to evade the zombies a bit when Usopp tossed some candles on them. The door is locked and as they hide in the fireplace, they accidentally opened a secret door and escaped. The zombies said not to worry for there are other zombies waiting for them. Nami and others then found themselves in a room with many pictures of Cindry.

They thought that in the pictures, Cindry doesn’t have the scars that she have now so they could be pictures of her before. Nami finds a newspaper article about her which says that she is stage actress who died 10 years ago. They were shocked as the realized that the ones they saw on the island are zombies – dead risen again. Usopp bumps on some boxes and Nami thought they are treasure boxes. Nami opens them only to find zombie-in-a-box and they were chased all over the place again. Then, someone from behind, wearing wooden sandals and seems to be a kimono with a katana came. The pictures zombies called him the bodyguard. He says that it seems that some people are lost, he will get them. There is a note saying that similarities to people are coincidential. [I wonder if it is the Bodyguard the movie since Cindry is a stage actress ^^;] Back to Luffy and others, they are reprimanding Luffy on wanting to get the tree and unicorn to become pirates with them. Luffy goes on defensive saying that they have a tanuki/raccoon-like creature [Chopper] and a robot [Franky] so why not. Franky goes on to protest that he isn’t a robot but a cyborg. Robin then mentions that from the creatures they saw, they all have numbers, stitches and bandages so could someone be managing them. Then, they see ghosts that can pass through them and make them depress-suicidal. Robin notes that fighting with ghosts might be difficult. Sanji says that it seems that the creatures with numbers and ghosts are different beings as the ghosts seem to be the ones watching over them.

They pass by the cemetery as Luffy wanted to eat their food there. Just then, a zombie came out of the ground that Luffy pushes it back into the ground. The zombie came out again, shouting do you think you can just push me back. Luffy asks if he is a wounded old man. Others shouted that he is a zombie. All the zombies came out to attack them but they were the ones being beaten up by Luffy and others. Cerberus then left. All the zombies with new bumps on their heads are now kneeling to Luffy as he asks what are they doing. They say they just on the ground decaying. Luffy asks if they are joking as they quickly say they are not lying. Luffy asked if they saw their comrades pass by. At first they try to deny it but when Luffy crack his knuckles, they confessed that Nami and others passed through. Luffy asked if they harmed Nami and others. The zombies deny it. When asked again, one said this other person did and another said that they all did. All the zombies are now buried with head first as they regret saying the truth. Just then while going into the mansion, they met an old man asking if they would hear his story since he has seen them fighting. He kneels and asks for their help to defeat a person who has stolen his and the others’ shadows. They realized that he is the same as Brook – missing their shadow. The old man then says that it is Moria. Robin recognizes the name as she told the others that it is one of the seven armed seas, Moria whose bounty surpasses Luffy. This is such a great chapter for I thought this arc is somewhat like ‘filler’ arc but to have one of the seven armed seas in it, too. It is something and this arc is really funny. I wonder if he is the ‘bodyguard’ and if he is, he seems to be more of Zoro’s level than Luffy because he is a sword-user.

Allen and others are in a dimension with a staircases leading up. Allen is helping Rinali as Rabi teases what if Komui knows about this, good thing that Ticampi is missing. Allen nervously laughs it off as he wonders where Ticampi is. Rinali thinks that Allen has become more positive and stronger than before while she weakened as she no longer use her innocence that she have thought of a ‘bad’ future where everyone died. She tries not to think of it as she might lost her will to fight so she has to believe in everyone and do her best. She unwittingly says, do her best that Allen thought that Rinali is having a hard time walking. Rinali tries to explain that she was thinking of training harder when they get back. Rabi freaks out why is she thinking that for he wants to sleep already while she should think of other things so that she will have a boyfriend. The others beat him up then, Rabi changes the subject and asks Allen what he wants to do. Allen says of course, to eat. Their companion, Chiaoji laughs at them as he comments that exorcists are like ordinary humans. Allen cheers him up as Lero tries to damper their mood. As they enter the next door, Allen is greeted by Rhode who hugged and then kissed him on the lips. Lero shouted at Rhode as Rabi tries to shake stunned Allen.

Sitting on a dining table with lots of food, Tiki comments that it seems Rhode likes Allen very much for Allen is the only person she kissed next to the Count. Tiki invites them to sit down for he got hungry while waiting for them. Allen declines his offer. Rhode then comments that it is a nice sight outside. They went and look to realize that the only place that remains is where they are as Allen realized what happened to Kanda and Crowley. Rhode closes and locks the door as both Rhode and Tiki asks them to sit down. When Tiki asks if they are afraid, Allen then goes to sit down. There are lots of fun scenes of Allen here like wanting to eat when he gets home – I find his pose funny and his reaction when Rhode kissed him. If this is shoujo, he would be complaining about his first kiss being stolen. Allen has really changed as he gained his new power. I guess it is a case of when you are really down and out, when you get back up, you will be stronger than before. If there is a fight, I’m thinking it is more of Allen + Rabi vs Tiki + Rhode unless they will just use this time to chit-chat.

Ageha is surprised that Yukari is a product of a shotgun wedding. Lan screams with tears if Ageha is intimidated by her. Surprised, Ageha denies it but then, she says, that she is, self-loathing. Ageha then remembered when she is saying things about her sister’s own shotgun wedding last year, Yukari is very angry at her. Ageha thought that it is because she is only thinking of herself and now that the baby is born and is so cute, she doesn’t oppose it anymore. Ageha mentally apologizes to Yukari for she is doesn’t have the nerve. Lan asks Ageha what is wrong. Ageha then sits closer to Lan and thanks her for giving birth to Yukari. Ageha felt that she is going to cry soon as she apologizes about it while Lan looks surprised and then smiles. She wipes Ageha’s tears and says that Ageha is such a nice girl. Shaking her head, Ageha quickly denies that she is a nice girl. Lan says that she is and she is considerate just like Aoi. Ageha looks surprised as Lan tells her that when she tells Aoi that she is pregnant, he told her. Flashback: Aoi said baby. Lan looked extremely nervous and embarrassed. He then held Lan’s shoulder and called out her name, surprising Lan. Aoi hugged her and thanked her saying that from now on, they are going to be a family. Lan is in tears. End flashback.

Lan says that she is really happy. Aoi told her ‘you can stay here.’ and it gave her a place she can stay momentarily. Lan says that there are people saying that she is so young, at that time, Yukari is in her belly, Aoi by my side, she is very happy. Ageha listens and is surprised as Lan exclaims that it is then they used up all her grandma’s inheritance to build VBR. Ageha looks surprised [actually, I can’t describe her reaction it is like she can’t believe what she just heard shock] and asks, build? Lan then happily says that they want their own place/residence and of course, that time Aoi was being scolded about it but then, it is Aoi’s dream to have a wedding design store. Ageha looks surprised then wonders when did grandma died then, is this the time to think about that. Lan says that her grandma and Aoi are her most cherished people, she doesn’t care for money for as long as they are still living, it is okay. Ageha is surprised by what she said as Lan seems solemn. Lan then smiles and says then Yukari is born, it can be said that it is a child who has a very strong resemblance with Aoi that she wants to find if any part of Yukari looks like her. Flashback of Aoi and Ririko asking what is Lan doing as she is looking intently at baby Yukari. Lan tells them she is looking if there is any part which resembles her. End flashback. Ageha wonders if Ririko also did the same thing [to Sakura].

Lan says that when she gave birth to Yukari, it is an indescribable feeling as she remembers seeing baby Yukari and hugs him after giving to birth. Lan smiles that it is a feeling that won’t stop and she is really really happy/lucky. Ageha looks at Lan as she smiles and then looks sad. Lan says but dream and reality isn’t the same for to have a ‘happy family’ both parties needed to do their best for just depending on one person isn’t enough. Lan says that she is negligent/ failed in her duty because she is still young and just wants to ‘play’ around as if it is just a game that she can’t just stay/keep still for a long while at the house. Flashback: Yukari is three years old and Lan is 21 years old. Yukari holding a toy fish and wearing a penguin backpack asked Lan who is putting on her earring if they are going to see the fish. Lan looked surprise and asks, is it today. Yukari insisted that today they are going to see the sea otter [at the aquarium]. Lan composes herself then hugs Yukari apologizing and that they will go next week. Yukari asks what about today. Lan says that the sea otters are sleeping in their house today. End flashback. Ageha looks surprised as she sweatdrops looking at Lan who is really embarrassed by it. Lan gloomily says that she also thought that lie is really something. Ageha asks if the lie worked. Lan says at first, it did.

At VBR, Ririko says that she hates this side of Lan. Yukari looks at her. Ririko says Lan’s ‘standing up people’ [failure in keeping appointments] for she just depends on Aoi, leaves Yukari aside and goes out with her former friends, always giving all sorts of reason to Aoi. Ririko says that she really hates lying Lan. Ririko pauses as Yukari looks at her then smiles. Yukari tells her not to be like that for there was a day when he can hug all the cats he want as he happily thought of the cute cats [sea otters ^^;] Ririko says that it can be said that Yukari is her family’s child for he is always left in her house. Yukari happily smiles and says that is true for he even has a sister. Flashback: Ririko came home to find Yukari surrounded by cats while feeding some cat? food to them. Ririko shouted doesn’t he think that there is too much food there. Yukari said because it is delicious. Ririko shouted for him not to eat it. End flashback. Ririko says that being strict is a must. She then smiles and says that Yukari really likes Lan. Surprised, Yukari asks why did she say that. Ririko says that even if it is like that – Flashback: When Lan comes back, upon seeing her – Lan arrived with hands outstretched, called out to Yukari that he have waited. Yukari called out to her and they hugged. Lan apologized as Yukari welcomed her home. Ririko looks a bit dissatisfied/disappointed [I guess at Lan] Then, Aoi said, you are back, Lan. Lan looked surprised as Yukari calls out to his father. Aoi hugged Yukari asking if he was a good boy and to thank Ririko [for taking care of him] Flustered, Lan calls out to Aoi. Aoi then welcomes her back as Aoi is in tears. End flashback

Back to Lan and Ageha, Lan says that no matter how many times she went out [with others], even if she is a failure of a mother, but still Aoi and Yukari always welcome her back and those are such nice memories. As Lan puts her hands on her face, she tells Ageha but still, she is such a rotten woman, for she herself is the one who destroyed this ‘family’s bonds’ Ageha looks a bit sorry for Lan as Lan says at that time, if only that day, she didn’t answer the telephone, it would have been avoided. Flashback: Lan is dressing up Yukari when the phone started ringing. Lan said that Aoi is out and it is their business phone. Yukari happily called out to her asking if he will see Mr. Elephant. Lan smiled and says that a really tall giraffe is also waiting to see him. Yukari happily says, really. They are going to the zoo. Lan then answers the phone that this is VBR store. The one who is calling turned out to be a Lan’s friend from Tokyo. Lan tells that person that she can’t go to Tokyo now since it is far away. That person told her that he/she will be at a certain store, waiting for her. Lan and Yukari looked at each other as Lan remembered her friend telling her to accompany him/her for a while since they haven’t met for such a long time. Lan narrates that to be honest, she hesitated, but she is really stupid, she wasn’t able to control her weak heart. Lan thought that meeting that person for a while then come back, it will be alright. Lan apologized to Yukari saying that she will come back and it will be for a while so wait for her. Yukari looked surprised and is about to hold on her but decided not to. Yukari quietly said okay. Lan then told him to wait inside the house and she will be right back. Yukari just stood there. Carrying a cat, Ririko then notices that Lan is going out again so it means that Aoi is at the store. Yukari is already freezing as he is waiting outside the house. Ririko then looks up and says it is snowing. Lan narrates that she is the one who destroyed the place where she can stay, the one who caused things to ruin is her. The scenes are of Yukari waiting outside in the snow, Lan running and Aoi at a store buying some cloths.

It did turned out that Lan is quite irresponsible and not yet ready to take care of a child. At 21, she still wants to live like a single. Of course, there will be a limit to how long will a kid [Yukari] believes/trusts his mother to keep her promises of going out. Was Lan thinking that her family will keep on forgiving her and will always be there while her friends won’t be so she priorities going out with friends? It really does seem that she took her family for granted and as she narrates it to Ageha, she really regrets it. I do wonder though if it is a right thing to leave your family after that mistake. I’m guessing that something happened to Yukari like almost freezing to death that Lan couldn’t forgive herself and decided to pack her bags and leave rather than cause more damage/hurt to Yukari. I’m thinking she left on her own rather than Aoi divorcing her since Aoi seems to be a caring, forgiving type of person and that maybe Lan could have tried making up for it rather than leaving the family. I sure hope it is not when that happened and she left without saying anything to anyone. Anyway, what I’m trying to say is does leaving her family better that she doesn’t contact them after all these years better than trying to work things out? I was thinking like have some form of contact or something if that latter isn’t possible. At least, it is a good thing that Yukari turned out okay. Her talk with Ageha also revealed that she doesn’t care about money that she is willing to buy stuff for other people she loves no matter if they are expensive and well, wanting for Aoi and her grandma to still be living. I guess it is somewhat like guilt for still be living while those who are nice to her are dead. Maybe Ageha could help free Lan of those self-guilt for being hung up on the past isn’t good, she can concentrate on the present. It is indeed quite amazing that Lan manages to tell all of this to Ageha. I guess it is because she has sensed that Ageha won’t be too ‘judgmental’ of her. I somewhat think that Lan has never told about it to anyone else before that Lan is still pretty emotional about it. I do understand why Ririko has to voice out the things she doesn’t like about Lan though I’m wondering if it is jealousy or anger that Lan didn’t ‘treasure’ Aoi and Yukari? It does feel weird if she is the one saying it for she is the one who took Lan’s ‘position’ as wife and ‘mother/sister’. It seems Ageha’s good nature has rubbed on Yukari that he thought of the happy times with Lan [getting to be with cats] rather than the bad times for I recall before, he is just grateful that Lan gave birth to him but now, he also thanked her for those time with the cats.

Vampire Knight [Chapter 26 - Part 2 of 2]

That night, the president frantically calls out to Yuuki that things aren’t good for Maria has finally awaken. At the infirmary, Zero is huffing as he ran on his way there as someone says, he is here, he is here. To Zero’s surprise, Maria hugs him and calls him Ichiru. Maria looks back and shouts at the president for being a liar for Ichiru is here. Both the president and Yuuki sweatdrop as the president tries to explain that person is. Maria shouts to Zero, thinking she is Ichiru, that the president is too much, saying that Shizuka is dead. Maria looks at Zero then realizes that he isn’t Ichiru, but Zero. Maria looks sad/weakens as Yuuki holds her up. Maria says so that is it, Shizuka has met up with you so she is really dead. After a while, Maria tells her story. Shizuka and Ichiru [still a young boy] came to her asking if she can use her [Maria’s] body as a vessel for a short time in return, Shizuka can make this weak body of hers to become stronger. It turned out that she and Shizuka’s blood has a relation and even if there is no exchange, it is okay. Shizuka has been born to just protect her name but she gave it all up when she had found love. It could be said that is why she is really angry at Zero’s parents for killing that guy whom Shizuka fell in love at first sight. Losing such a person will also make her [Maria] hurt and angry. Maria then clings to Zero and emotionally shouted that she feels even if Shizuka is killed by him, she won’t regret it.

The president then tells Maria to relax a bit, for continuing on would not be good for her body. He then tells Yuuki and Zero to let Maria rest. Just as Zero is about to leave, Maria calls him to wait for there is something that she wants to tell to only to him. Zero asks what is it. Maria says on that day, the one who ordered ‘Kiriyuu’ to kill him is really just a chess piece, in reality, as a whole, there is a someone plotting behind the scenes. Zero looks surprised as Maria holding her chest, says one who is not satisfied/happy that Shizuka has fallen for a human who turned into a vampire. When she [Maria] has become herself again, she felt that there is a someone plotting behind the scenes that Shizuka wanted to obtain more new strength in order to defeat this enemy. Maria then tells Zero that she feels that it is a pureblood, his true enemy. Zero looks surprised as he then closes the door. Yuuki asks if Zero is alright. Zero says he is for she isn’t Shizuka.

While walking at the hallway, Yuuki says that Maria didn’t go to the school on her own so she told the president that she wants to go home. Yuuki then stops at the window and looks out the snow as she says, love, huh. Zero then looks at her. Yuuki says, here, there is the president, there is Kaname and Zero, Yori is also here, I am really selfish. She the looks at Zero and says that I have been thinking could I have been abandoned by my parents for they left a child in a snow storm. Zero calls her name. Yuuki then smiles and apologizes that it is nothing. Yuuki says even if there is no attachment, and even if her parents is her own business, she still can’t remember. Zero answers that for him, this isn’t a small matter. Yuuki looks at Zero in surprise. Zero continues that he knows that Kaname is always in her heart but not knowing about that/her origin, shouldn’t she be afraid. Yuuki looked stunned and looks down. She then blushes and asks Zero if she became a vampire, will her heart become more strong/brave. Zero is shocked by what she just said. Yuuki then says that Kaname had asked her if she wants to become a vampire and she answered yes. Zero’s eyes widen. Yuuki then tells him that even if that is true, Kaname isn’t serious about it. Zero then asks did she think that becoming a vampire is no big deal. Yuuki is surprised by Zero’s question. Zero says that he will not let her become that thing, even if Kaname becomes his enemy, even if she will hate him for it. Yuuki just looks at him as the snow slowly falls down outside the window.

Maria turned out to be a willing accomplice to Shizuka’s plot and seems to like Ichiru by the way she greeted Zero thinking that he is Ichiru. The enemy she mentioned could be the one whom Kaname is preparing to fight against. Maria mentioned about wanting to have a new power and obviously, she plans to kill Kaname to attain it. Kaname just beat her to it though he promised that he will be the one who would defeat that person for her. Maybe this is the person whom Kaname thought is a hindrance and if it is the person who ordered the kill then, Kaname must take him out for he will also be a hindrance if he and Yuuki will be together. That person is quite a schemer, too. It is like two birds in one stone – get rid of Shizuka’s lover and two vampire hunters. I do wonder if that person already knew about Yuuki-Kaname-Zero for I somewhat think that the kid with different colored eyes might be a spy or something to have lured Yuuki at that party. With that new enemy, I guess Zero won’t be planning to being suicidal anytime yet. Yuuki didn’t realize that telling about plans on wanting to become a vampire to Zero is a bad thing especially since Zero hates vampires. Of course, Zero will do everything to prevent that. I do wonder if Yuuki phrased that, Kaname wanted to be with her together as time passes, would he be more jealous than angry. Hehehe Somehow I have a bad feeling that someone will die to solve the love triangle. Yuuki’s past is mentioned so maybe some time later on, it would be revealed as to who she is really.

Edit: This reminds me of Skip beat! Shou's PV. Two angel friends and a demon got between them. Friend angel decided to doesn't want to lose her friend whose life is in anger if she kept on being with the demon so she killed the demon even if her friend came to hate her for that. To what extent will Zero do to prevent Yuuki from becoming a vampire if ever she decided no matter what, she will be one for Kaname? Will Zero go to the extend of killing Kaname so that Yuuki won't ever have a chance to become a vampire for the other vampires are interested in her only as 'food'? Even if Zero manages to kill Kaname, the other vampires will not let him off that easily for killing a pureblood 'again'. So, in the end, that would make no more 'knights' for Yuuki. =P The end. Lol Oh well, I'm sure something else will happen.

The cover is of young Yuuki and Kaname with Yuuki saying, if it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t be existing now. I really like Kaname-sama, you are the origin of my world, my whole world so even if my past is a total blank, I am not afraid. At the party, Sara asks Ichijou where is Kaname. Ichijou says that he has some business. Back in the room, Yuuki is lying down on the sofa holding Kaname’s head as he laid down on her. Yuuki thought just for Kaname, I am willing to do anything. Blurting it out doesn’t mean it is a lie, it is what my heart’s wish. She then lets go of Kaname’s head and put her hand on her forehead. This wakes up Kaname and he calls her name as Yuuki looks like she is flustered/blushing. Yuuki then says that she has already decided not to add ‘-sama’ anymore and she has doesn’t want it to be like before where she doesn’t understand anything. In order to warn me, you are the one who left me far away just when it is decided. [Okay, I don’t quite get what she is saying maybe Kaname left her to protect her – something he has decided.] Yuuki is facing sideway as Kaname is now intently looking at her neck. Yuuki then says that I really want to remember this bit of affection, this is enough, but why...Kaname is now leaning on her closely that Yuuki stops talking as she realizes in surprise that Kaname’s lips are already on her neck. She calls his name as Kaname prepares to bite. She didn’t resist but just then, Kaname stops himself as he grips the pillow.

He moves away and sadly says, for us, you people is like vanishing in a blink of an eye, an unreal existence. Yuuki looks surprised as Kaname leans to her face and asks her, Would you accompany me in this ‘long unending’ time? [Didn’t he just propose to her? ^^] Kaname then goes for her neck again as Yuuki thought, my wish is..Yuuki then says yes. Kaname is about to bite as Yuuki prepares herself but she is crying. Kaname moves away from her and smiles. He apologizes to her and tells her that punishment is over, I didn’t do anything. Yuuki looks surprised as Kaname pulls her up, holding her head. He apologizes again for scaring her. Yuuki says, Kaname..I.. Kaname then asks, why is she making that face, if you understand/absorb this lesson of not getting herself into dangerous things..everything will be okay...it is time for you to go back home. At the school, Kaname must have had his chauffeur drive her back to the school. The president and Yori is waiting for her as Yori is happy that she is back. Kaname notices Yori’s hands are cold and tells Yori about it. Yori says that it is because she doesn’t know what happened to her while going with the lost kid so she is waiting for her outside. Yuuki bows down and apologizes to Yori. The president says that it is really cold tonight then notices that it is snowing. Yuuki looks up and says, so this time of the year has arrived as she blushes.

Yuuki thoughts as she remembers the day she met Kaname: The white snow reminds me of the redness of blood. Ten years ago in that snow storm, blood is scattered all over, a hand offered to her by a blood drenched bishounen/handsome boy. I took hold of his hand. I can say that as long as Kaname is there, I’m not afraid. I willingly do anything just for Kaname. She then remembers Kaname’s question, would you accompany me in this unending time. These are the words that I have been waiting for such a long time, and finally the time came when her ears had heard these words being uttered. All of my feelings had started surging/going crazy that it changed into tears that fell. [Tears of joy, I guess] Yuuki is now looking out the window, even if Kaname is not serious about it, I have seen it, lips that said the truth but doesn’t want to admit to oneself. Is it really hopeless? A girl student then calls out to Yuuki asking her where does she plan to go after school break tomorrow. Yuuki says that she has no plans. The girl says so that means, she will be just in school, no wonder you are the president’s daughter. Together with another girl, she then asks doesn’t she [Yuuki] want to put a micro camera in the moon/night dorm. Zero is darkly standing behind them as Yuuki tries to point him out to them. The two girls turn around and says that they are just joking. Yuuki greets Zero a good morning as Zero tells her that it is already afternoon. Zero then calls Yuuki to come with him. Yuuki asks where are they going. Zero tells her it is to do their last job before vacation for everyone in night dorm are going away so they are instructed to make sure everyone has left the school. Yuuki then says that she has forgotten about it.

Night class students are preparing to leave as some servants are carrying their luggage on a push trolley. Ichijou then notices that Aidou is looking around nervously. Ichijou tells him not to be nervous for Kaname will definitely stay at his house this year. Aidou denies he is worried. Ichijou says that he and others will be coming along, too and Aidou surely has prepared a really great pastime/amusement for them, he can’t wait. Aidou angrily thought what he said can’t be easily dismissed as he calls out Ichijou. Rima then asks Senri isn’t he going, too. Senri says even if he went, there might be work that would make him leave again though it is fun playing with Aidou. He tells her that his parents seldom see him so he is going home this year. Rima says okay. Ichijou then goes to Zero and Yuuki, greeting them for a job well done. Ichijou says that they always look after them so now that they are going home for a while, they [Yuuki and Zero] can now relax and be at ease. Yuuki bows down and tells him to be careful on their way. Zero looks away. When Ichijou calls out to Kaname, Yuuki perks up and started blushing. She then hides behind Zero who looks at her. Ichijou asks Kaname if he closed all the windows. Kaname tells him that he can do such a small thing. Kaname then hands an envelope to Yuuki telling her that it is the key to the moon dorm. Yuuki blushes as she takes the envelope.

Kaname smiles and tells Yuuki that he knows what she told him is all lies. Yuuki looks in surprise at Kaname. Kaname pats her head and tells her not to put those things to heart. Ichijou then says that he knows they are reluctant to leave each other. Kaname tells him to go on ahead to the car. Kaname then asks Yuuki to also go on ahead. Yuuki worriedly looks at Zero. Kaname tells her it is okay for he isn’t going to embarrass him. Yuuki says if that is so, be careful on his way. Kaname thanks her. Before leaving, Yuuki bows again. After she left, Kaname seriously tells Zero that there is something he wants to tell him, if Zero doesn’t take good care of Yuuki, it will be problematic for he [Kaname] while he is away for a few days. Zero looks serious as Kaname started to walk away. Kaname says that is all and won’t he [Zero] be happy that he won’t be seeing him for a few days. Just then, Kaname says, ah ah, that’s right, association ‘that child’s –...no, it is nothing..goodbye. Kaname then left.

This chapter surprises me for I never thought that Yuuki’s ‘like’ for Kaname is that deep for I only have an impression that it is just a crush or infatuation. Really, she has been waiting for Kaname to say that. I guess liking a person for 10 years is not a small thing like a crush. I do think that Kaname is serious about what he said/proposal but backs out or rather says he isn’t really serious. Maybe he misinterprets Yuuki’s tears or came to his senses. If he did turn her into a vampire, he will be repeating what Shizuka did. I’m sure he knows how that ended up. I do admire Kaname’s self-control for not biting into Yuuki. I do wonder if Ichijou actually knew what those two are doing in the room. He will be in deep trouble if the others knew for he seems to be Kaname’s companion/guardian that he might be held responsible. Do they always live in other people’s places? I’m thinking that Kaname doesn’t have a home of his own though I’m surprised that his group is staying with him. I guess aside from being friends, they are his own personal bodyguards. It is also surprising that Kaname agreed to stay at Aidou’s place. Won’t Aidou’s father pimp Gesshi to Kaname again while there? ^^;; I’m amused that Kaname is ‘ordering’ Zero to take care of Yuuki while he is gone. Zero must have not like that for he would even if Kaname didn’t tell him. If there is an attack on Yuuki or Zero, this is a really good time while Kaname is away. If something happens to Yuuki, Kaname will definitely lash out on Zero and won’t protect him anymore. I’m actually imagining that if Zero doesn’t like Yuuki, he might have said to Kaname, take care of Yuuki by yourself. Hehe It is also interesting that it seems Senri is part time vampire hunter since on two occasions that is what he is doing though at first with Ichijou then, the other one is with Rima. ^^; I’m guessing that is the job he mentions to Rima.

Ouran High Host Club [Chapter 48 - Part 2 of 2]

The announcer then says that it is time for the men’s hurdles race which is a two part race. In the first run, the Red team representative will be soccer’s captain, Gogoku. Gogoku raises up his fist as the Red team shouted that if it is Gogoku, they can do it. Red team are excited as they cheer for him. As the race is about to start, Nanakura calls out Gogoku’s attention to thank him for the party they held a few days before. Nanakura says that his father and brothers wanted to praise Gogoku’s sister that even if it is a different business, she managed to pull it off. Gogoku thanked him for looking after it. Nanakura says, enough of this for on today’s competition, one shouldn’t think of family matters. [I don’t quite get what is Nanakura saying but my guess is that her sister is into organizing party or something and she needs Nanakura’s family help or something. But one thing is certain, it is some form of blackmail.] Nanakura nervously smiles and tells Gogoku that their leader [Kyouya] told him to mention this if ever Gogoku is in a competition with him so that he [Nanakura] will win. Nanakura asks what could it mean. Gogoku is already having cold sweat. And in the first run, Nanakura wins while Gogoku is on third position. In the next run, it is also the White team, it seems White team is strong, the announcer says.

Tamaki and others looked surprised as Kyouya is smiling with Honey also looking surprised. The announcer asks could it be that Red team loses in strength for from the start, the competitor looks shaken. The next race is Nekozawa as representative, could it be that he is actually a star athlete, the announcer asks. Nekozawa is greeting the White team who were scared of him. Hikaru asks out loud if Nekozawa can really run fast. Tamaki says not really but it just that Nekozawa likes to jump hurdles over white and black space. [I don’t get that, actually ^^;] As the announcer says get ready, the stadium lights [the ones that are opened at night in American football games – I recall seeing them there] in front of Nekozawa suddenly opened. Nekozawa freaks out as he quickly backs away as his opponent is surprised that he is running backwards. The announcer says, what the – the lights has gone crazy and such a weird way of running [Nekozawa]. The announcer says that Nekozawa is disqualified. Kuze is angrily shaking as he asks Tamaki, is this what you call ‘fair and square’ a man’s fight. Ouran members in Red team sweatdrop. Tamaki tries to explain that it isn’t, for this kind of fighting is that person’s [Kyouya] specialty as he angrily thought, stupid Kyouya.

At the White team, Kaoru notices the audience the president [Tamaki’s dad] is there as the president is happily talking with the other parents. Kaoru tells Kyouya that and even Haruhi’s father as well as the other family members of the other students. Kyouya sighs and says that is a separate issue/something not to be bothered with. Kaoru says that is right as his parents both are at work. He then asks what about Kyoya’s. Kyouya tells him that they won’t come and if his parents come, there will be a different reason for it. Kaoru asks what different reason. Kyouya says compared to himself and the competition, it is more important to keep White team active in winning until Tamaki gives up/concedes. Kaoru says is that so. Then Kaoru thought that in formal occasions, Kyouya doesn’t talk much and even protect the Suou family’s reputation. [I think it is because Kyouya doesn’t badmouth Tamaki in public] Kaoru thinks that this is one good point of Kyouya so it seems the most important to Kyouya right now is to win over Tamaki. Flashback: ‘Secret’ Hikaru tells Kaoru how did things become excited [why Hikaru is enthusiastic in working out earlier], sorry, sorry, at that time, I have to hurry. It seems that aside from the issue with Kuze, Tamaki has another thing in plan but no, I can’t [tell you], you have to wait until the competition ends then, I can say it. End flashback. Kaoru thought that even if he also keeps a secret from Hikaru, he feels it is too much that Hikaru is hiding something from him and as if ‘attacking’ something but, if that is said, Tamaki could be...

His thoughts were interrupted by some shouting. White team guys are laughing as girls are looking awed/fangirl-ing. Kaoru asks Honey what is going on. Honey tells Kaoru that Tamaki is now competing – doing some art work. The announcer says that it is already the last part of the ‘Candy-making contest’ and Tamaki is really intense while creating the candy like some kind of expert. Ranka and Meiko are making faces while Misuzu is awed by Tamaki. But the finished product is a badly made teddy bear candy as the announcer says that it is a sad gamble. The judges gave him zero points as they raise their X signs. The total for now is Red team 63 points while White team has 183 points so it is 120 points difference between the two groups with White team leading. To Tamaki’s shock, the White team group are shouting their thanks and gratitude to him for their lead. Tamaki holds his badly made teddy candy and cries. A Red team member tells Tamaki not to mind too much for there is no choice/nothing they can do, forget about the tuna incident while the candy making is an ‘optional’ competition [It is like it isn’t really sports], Tamaki didn’t do that badly. Mori is holding back Kuze who is really angry. Kuze shouted for them to let him go, it is all Tamaki’s fault. Hikaru shouted for Tamaki to do something.

Tamaki looks back to see that most of the Red team members are already dispirited that they are willing to concede defeat. Tamaki tries to cheer them up by saying that it is still half of the competition so they can still reverse the situation and Mori haven’t competed yet. A members tells him to stop it for it is impossible to reverse the situation, everyone has lost their enthusiasm/energy, why not just concede defeat and why not just do what one wants until the end. Tamaki is surprised at this reply as Haruhi looks at him. The announcer then says that it is time for the cheerleading so Red team get ready. Renge then calls out to Tamaki and Hikaru that things are ready for their skit so they should hurry. Renge pushes them from the stadium as Haruhi calls out to Tamaki. Tamaki asks what is it. Haruhi somewhat thinking what to say, tells him that if he is nervous, he should just write the word ‘pretty’ on his heart’s hand three times. Tamaki smiles and tells Haruhi not to worry for he haven’t given up yet. Haruhi is surprised by what his reaction. The announcer then says that it is now time for Red team’s cheerleading performance, will it remove the nervousness of the Red team. Ranka asks if the cheerleading is actually a play. Misuzu says that he heard that it is Shakespeare. Meiko sweatdrop asking, isn’t that suppose to be for cultural events.

Kanan wonders if it is Macbeth or Romeo and Juliet. Kaoru says that can’t be for those Shakespeare plays for the leads ended up as losers. Ayame says that no matter how she looks at it but it seems that Red team’s consciousness is already on defeat. Honey says that a tragedy is okay, a love story is okay as long as it is related to the situation. Kyouya says that is right, as long as it is appropriate. Kyouya sighs and thought that there will be another competition, that is why I can say, sports is boring. Then, someone shouted, O for a Muse of fire. Kaoru realized that it is Hikaru from his voice. They were all surprised that Hikaru is wearing European [Elizabethan?] clothes. Hikaru bows and tells them that he is about to relate of that the brightest heaven of invention from the real life history of the annals of kings regarding a small hopeless battle, as we are now in Agincourt, wielding not enough armor strength. Kaoru exclaims that it is Henry V. Kanan says it is a historical play. Honey says that the Battle of Agincourt is a decisive battle in the Hundred Years War. Someone says, that is right for even if the enemy is strong with losing morale, what King Henry said to his troops is quite famous. A red team member says that this is cheerleading contest, oh well, whatever. The pessimist Red team member says that right for they are going to lose anyway so at least let him finish. Tamaki then asks, whose wish is that. Mr. pessimist is surprised at Tamaki’s outfit, saying it is guite good. Tamaki asks him if he is the one who said that wish [they are going to lose], in a battle those who don’t have courage can leave, I won’t stop him, for I don’t want to fight with people who are afraid to death. Tamaki looks at the guy darkly as the guy looks a bit surprised.

Kyouya thought so that’s it, even if he [Tamaki] is stupid, this is quite good, from the start, with losing fights, this play is about reversing the situation, it can really make people start anew, it is a really appropriate for the occasion. Tamaki shouts, but everyone, if today’s battle has ended, can we just peacefully let go of our comrades. What we need today, I think it is to lift up our chest and be confident. People are forgetful, even if what he did is forgotten, that person’s reputation and happy memories cannot be easily erased by new memories. Those who fear to lose, abandoned the battle will be cursed by others from behind their backs. Why? Because even if we are few, we are still happy, we are a band. Because on this day, we fight together, perspire together, everyone will be become brothers. Everyone is awed by Tamaki’s speech. Tamaki then noticed that everyone began to discuss with each other – What about it? I think it is right, no matter what one should fight until the end. Can we reverse it? From the start, the competition is pretty much a gamble so one can’t say. Tamaki smiles and shouted for everyone to fight on. Haruhi and Hikaru smile. Tamaki then shouts, God, protect our brothers! Everyone raised their fists and cheered together. Meanwhile, Kyouya smiles and thought, so that’s it, that’s meaningful.

Hehe, the Shakespeare part is quite frustrating that I had to resort to researching about the play and know what’s what they are referring to like Agincourt, muse of fire, etc. Yeah, Ouran is actually educational. Tamaki’s speech is a revision of a famous speech in Henry V – band of brothers. This is the second time that Tamaki looked darkly in this chapter. I don’t quite to recall him doing that face in the earlier chapters. I do find it interesting that if the situation calls for it, Tamaki can be really dead serious though I don’t know if he is conscious of it or not. It is quite fitting for Tamaki to act as a king ^_^ Kind of ironic though it is an English King fighting against France when he is half-French =P I don’t quite think it is shocking that Tamaki has thought of it for after all, he is the top two in their batch..maybe Tamaki just lacks common sense like that tuna sandwich incident. Hehe This latter half of the chapter showcases Tamaki’s and Kyouya’s talent. Tamaki is really good at cheering up people to rally them to his cause = charismatic while Kyouya is good at strategy though well, it is what Kuze would call dirty tactics like the blackmail and making the lights focus on Nekozawa. I do find that one hilarious aside from the White team thanking Tamaki. I guess this is a reason why the two managed to make the host club famous and profitable. It did made me think that maybe in the future, how about they work together in a business if their respective families didn’t give them the ‘break’ they need to succeed. In this chapter, Kyouya is shown to dislike talking about his personal life, just like in the earlier chapter, he tends to change the subject when Kaoru talks to him about himself. I do wonder what Kyouya realized at the last scene though – could it be he thought of some scheme or realized that the ‘enemy’ is going to give him a hard time? While Kaoru is a bit disappointed that he and Hikaru has to keep secrets from each other. Also, in this chapter, I noticed that Tamaki and Haruhi ‘cheered’ each other and both situations ended the same – cheer and surprise reaction. Anyway, the first half has ended and the other half would be probably on Hikaru vs Kaoru, Honey vs Mori and Kyouya vs Kuze. What would happen in the next chapter? Will Red team manage to reverse the situation? Will White team continue with their winning streak? Until the next chapter! Hehe, I just have the urge to type that.

The One [Volume One - Part 4 of 4]

[For those waiting for the rest of Ouran, I still haven’t finished it ^^; These two “The One” summaries were done before Ouran part 1. Gomen, my brain is freezing just when seeing the many text in Ouran especially Tamaki+Hikaru skit. ^^;; I will try to finish it today and will upload it tomorrow. Vampire Knight is out. Maria is awake...Yuuki is thinking of becoming a vampire for...Zero not happy about that. V.B. Rose is also out which is more on Lan as a mother that lead to the ‘trauma’ of Yukari. Of course, more of The One once those are finished. ^_^]

The day has finally arrived for Taipei’s 2005 Fashion Show as the pictures of the designers are on the side of the runway. Lele is being made up as the show is the show is going to start at 7pm. There are models sitting down or standing – reading or talking with other models - as they wait for their time to go out on the stage. Backstage, Fei Hung and Xiao Qui visited her as they were all surprised at Lele’s transformation. Xiao Qui says that she looks absolutely beautiful as Lele turns around to see them. To their shock, Lele can’t hardly walk as she walks with her legs open while holding on the wall and her whole body is shaking. Lele asks for her aunt to save her. Her aunt angrily asks what’s up with her posture. Xiao Qui asks what happened to Lele. Lele cries it is her feet, it hurts because she has to wear such high heels and there is that very heavy skirt train. Lele shakes the surprised Xiao Qui as she complains that she has been standing up for 5 hours already so that the skirt won’t be wrinkled. Her aunt angrily shouted what is just 5 hours for an old lady [I’m not sure who is she referring to – maybe herself or Lele’s mother – I doubt it is the grandma] can stand up for 9 hours and not whine about it.

Lele is shocked for she haven’t thought that models have to endure this kind of hardship. Lele cries that this isn’t a job for a human, she wants to go home. Her aunt shouts what is she going to do at home and her grandma is already sitting outside waiting to see her. Lele then stops as the make-up artist is shock to see Lele’s ruined mascara because of her tears. He then quickly grabs Lele’s hand asking what happened to her make-up, they have to hurry and fix it up for the show is going to start soon. As they left, her aunt and Xiao Qui sweatdrop as they are relieved. While being made up, Lele thought that she can’t escape anymore and she doesn’t know what is she thinking, could it be because she is extremely nervous. Outside backstage, the twins have arrived as there is a loud ruckus outside. The models asked what it is as someone said it is because some big stars had come to see the show. The twins sit on the front row as everyone is talking and looking at them.

Backstage, Yang Jing/Juan Mao visits Lele asking if she is okay for Fei Hung told him that she is nervous. Lele greets him and she is shock when Yang Jing says that it seems that she isn’t tall like Fei Yi as Lou Shang told him Lele is like her father. Lele angrily shouted for him, old man, not to replace her. Yang Jing says that it, that is more like Lele’s style. Lele cried that it is useless for she can’t be like her mother. Yang Jing said that it isn’t he wanted her to become her mother. He explains that the outfit she is wearing is a treasure that money cannot buy. The reason why he asked her to model it is because it would be fitting for the daughter to wear what her mother created and not because of her being like her mother. Lele says that she doesn’t know what her mother is like for her grandma fears that Lele would be sad about it so her grandma doesn’t mention much about her parents and there are few pictures of her mother at home. Yang Jing says that her mother is quite tough and isn’t easily moved. Lele asks does it mean that she isn’t afraid. Yang Jing says she is wrong for her mother is really a coward. Lele is shocked and asks, what. Yang Jing asks does she remember the picture of Fei Yi on the horse but the truth is her mother has a phobia with horses. It is on the first day of shooting when she knew about it but then, while shooting, she doesn’t show any of it that while she is on the horse, she seems like a queen. It is only after photo shoot while waiting for the elevator when Fei Yi vomits. Flashback: Fei Yi then apologizes that it is embarrassing for she actually plans to vomit when she gets home. Yang Jing is surprised. End of flashback. Yang Jing then says, that is her mother as Lele is surprised to know this side of her mother.

The fashion show then starts at 7pm as the models started to walk on stage while her heart is beating so fast. Holding her hand, Yang Jing asks if Lele is ready. She looks at Yang Jing and smiles as she lets go of his hand. She told herself, grandma, look at me as I do my best in showing overcoming my fear to show a really great expression. She then composed herself, putting her hands on her waist and started to walk as her grandma, aunt and Xiao Qui looks in surprise. As she passes by the twins, Eros who seems to be looking down, suddenly perked up and looks at Lele. Angus is surprised that Eros is looking at Lele/the model. Angus asks what is the matter. Eros smiles as he seems like laughing says that he couldn’t believe that it is her. Angus asks who. Eros says the girl who fell flat on her face in front of him. While walking and turns around to walk back, Lele thought, are you watching, mom, I’m wearing this outfit just for you. Then, Lele stepped on her train as everyone looks shock as Lele falls down.

It does seem that Eros is Lele’s bad luck..same guy and she falls down on him twice though in different disguise/appearance. Lol Talk about falling for the guy twice hehe I must say Lele does looks great will walking on the runway. She has decided to be like her mother who is quite brave as to hide her fear when the time needs it. For someone who has a phobia for horses, her mother is really something to pull that off. Just standing for 5 hours is already torture but on high heels, someone inexperience like Lele would easily complain about it. She does seem a bit spoiled by her grandmother but then, after hearing that her grandmother is there, she manages to calm down for she doesn’t want to disappoint her. I have a feeling that Eros isn’t really attentive to the show and only perked up when Lele is on the runway that Angus quickly noticed it. Mmm..I don’t think they wore the D&C outfit that was given to Angus..maybe it is just a gift for coming rather than asking Angus to wear it. ^^;

The One [Volume One - Part 3 of 4]

While sunbathing topless on her apartment’s balcony, Fei Hong gets a call from Lou Shang. Lou Shang asks what is she doing. Fei says sunbathing and Lou Shang screams in surprise. Fei Hong congratulates him for not being gay anymore if he is already nosebleeding. Lou Shang is doing yoga by sitting upside down as he tells her that no wonder she is the one whom he liked for she can say such things so early in the morning. Lou Shang then asks her to go to his house. Fei Hong calls him a pervert as she is about to protest. Lou Shang tells her to bring Lele with her for Xiao Juan Mao [Literally, small curly hair] wanted to see Fei Yi ’s daughter. Fei Hong looks surprised. Later on, Lele is wearing a fashionable outfit as Lele asks why does she have to wear that outfit. Her aunt pinches her face telling her that she is a model now so she should pay attention to what she wears and what kind of face she shows to the public. Fei Hong tells her that she is going to introduce her to someone important in the industry.

At the apartment, Lele and Fei Hong were shock to see a topless Lou Shang with a turban, greeting Fei Hong. He asks her why is she wearing that strange outfit [fashionable ones] for they are just going to his house. Lele thought isn’t this the editor of W magazine. Fei Hong screams for him to not get close to her for isn’t ‘teacher/sensei’ here yet for didn’t Lou Shang told her that he wanted to see Lele. Lou Shang says it is true but then goes to tell Fei Hong about he toned up his body and doesn’t she feel aroused by it. Fei Hong is grossed out as she grabs Lele that they are going home. Lou Shang with multiple head bumps on his head [apparently Fei Hong hit him] shouting, darling, don’t go, that old man is really here. Then, they saw a small old man with turban, doing yoga. Fei Hong is surprised as she asked what is teacher doing. To her shock, Juan Mao is doing yoga with Lou Shang that now his stomach is small already. Lele wonders why is he called ‘Xiao Juan Mao’. Noticing Lele, Juan Mao removed his turban and greets her. Lele couldn’t suppress her laughter as she laughs out loud, saying that he is really short curly hair. Juan Mao’s hair is indeed short and curly. Lou Shang joins in, laughing over the scene as Fei Hong pinches Lele’s ear, telling her to be respectful. Juan Mao tells Fei Hong that it is okay for Fei Yi also has the same reaction before. Lele then stops laughing and looks at Juan Mao in surprise.

Fei Hong then tells Lele that Juan Mao is the one who single-handedly build up her mother. They then showed her huge pictures on the wall of her mother like one in her naked glory while riding on a horse and another picture her mother is embracing with Fei Hong, both naked. Lele thought that the pictures are really beautiful as they told her that it [riding on a horse] is her mother’s first cover on W magazine which made her famous. Fei Hong says that at first Fei Yi doesn’t want to do it but with the urging of Juan Mao, it turned out great as Juan Mao have thought. Shang Lou then says that since they failed in making Fei Yi famous around the world, he then trained Fei Hong to become a fashion model mananger. Juan Mao comments that it is a waste that everyone has already forgotten about Fei Yi’s beauty when he haven’t. He then tells them something like together with some designers they plan to have a fashion show of their creations and Fei Yi is one of those designers. He commented that who would have thought that Fei Yi has a talent for it for her design is like a ‘goddess’. Fei Hung goes teary eyes as to why this was kept from her. Juan Mao says because it is a surprise. Lou Shang tries to comfort her but ended up being punched in the face. Juan Mao says that they haven’t decided yet who will be the model for the outfit but when Lou Shang told him about seeing Fei Yi’s daughter. He then asks Lele if no one is more appropriate but her to do this. Lele is surprised as she asks her grandma, in her thoughts, could this be her mother’s gift to her so that she can move a step into this world. There is a picture of her with her mother among the pictures.

Then later on, Lele accompanied by her aunt and Xiao Qui to a dress workshop [like those in Project Runway]. Xiao Qui exclaims that this is the real thing and that Lele will soon be a super model. Lele sweatdrops that she haven’t even got her measurements and fit on the shoes. Her aunt came out holding a shoe box with an older woman behind her. Her aunt tells her to test out the shoes. Lele thought that shoes are quite high as the older woman ties the shoes’ strap/ribbon on her lower legs. Xiao Qui is surprised that Lele has become pretty tall. The older woman explains that it is because the skirt is a bit seductive so the shoes have to be quite high. She then says that to wear seductive dress, the model has to be at least 175 cm tall so they have to change some of the measurements for the outfit. Lele freaks out for she is really short for she is only 171 cm. Her aunt tells her to relax for she will grow taller since her mother stopped growing at the age of 22. Narration: Aside from about worrying about my body measurement, there is something else that happened that is quite surprising.

At the twin’s hotel room, An Bai is freaking out over the news about Angus going wild that he shares a room with a certain guy [picture of Angus and Eros from the back in the room] as a model who was there says that he is into SM [sex] games with three guys and two girls. The twins are instead arguing how a Chinese word is being pronounced. An Bai tears up the newspaper, shouting that isn’t what is important now. An Bai is in tears as Angus tries to comfort her saying is she worried about him, relax for the company won’t kill him for it and he will just say that it is just a designer whom he is with. An Bai shouted for him to shut up as she shoves him to the sofa. She cries that the one who would be fired is her not him for it is her job to be responsible for him. Eros laughs out loud that he quickly apologized when An Bai stares at her. An Bai asks doesn’t Eros think that he is in the same situation as her. Eros tries to comfort her telling her not to mind Angus too much since he haven’t done worse things and that the 3 guys-2 girls didn’t really happen. An Bai shouted at Eros that he is Angus’ elder brother, how could he not care about Angus’ reputation. Eros then thought that at times, he doesn’t want to recognize his younger brother. Angus then sees a small invitation and asks An Bai what is it. An Bai says that it is from a model company who asks Angus to go to their fashion show but because they are busy, she haven’t able to reply to them. She says that they even sent a suit for him to attend the show. Angus thought it is nice for it is Dolce & Gabbana.

Eros then looks at the invitation and notes that it is organized by Ou Yang Jing [the real name of Juan Mao] Angus asks who it is. Eros says that it is an Asian fashion director whose work he wanted to see. Angus happily says too bad, I won’t exchange with you for I’m going to attend since the coming three days, he is going on a vacation. An Bai protests but Angus kisses her goodnight. An Bai shouts that she won’t be easily tricked by that. Angus pushes her away as An Bai shouts for him to be considerate for her and not do those things again. Angus says he knows already and he won’t let her be fired. At the bathroom, Angus is brushing his teeth as Eros asks him how is Angus planning to solve this ‘bad news’ [about Angus’ reputation] for he doesn’t want An Bai to be fired. Angus asks did Eros fell in love with An Bai. Eros asked what the heck is he saying..it is because she is the only person so far who is working with Angus for three months already and have not slept with him. Angus gargles as he says that he has underestimated her self-control. Angus says that it is easy to solve this problem for it just depends on someone who hates the limelight. He then asks Eros how about going to the fashion show as brothers. Eros looks surprised. Meanwhile, Lele is fitting the dress as the older woman tells her that her train skirt is still being finished so she has to remember it while walking tomorrow. The older woman asks her to practice her walk just as her aunt thought her. Lele is nervous as she fears that she might forget all about it by tomorrow. The older woman tells her to think of it as if she is going to a party and there is nothing to be afraid of for all models have their first time. She then tells Lele to look at the mirror for she got her mother’s beautiful, long legs.

Lele finally manages to get a break with the help of her mother who had designed an outfit. Since it has been years since her mother died, I’m guessing that they haven’t released/made the outfit yet as they still don’t know who will model for it. It is partly thanks to Lou Shang who mentioned her to Yang Jing who turned out to have worked with her mother before. It can really be said that it is her mother’s gift to her. Eros is going to the fashion show, too, thanks to his brother. Hehe, they are going to meet again. I guess they haven’t thought that one of the models in Angus ‘party’ will sell her story to the newspaper. I don’t think they knew that the ‘other guy’ is actually Angus’ twin because he looks ‘untidy’ in his appearance in contrast with Angus. I do feel sorry for An Bai for Angus is really a headache for any assistant/manager especially since she can’t seem to control his actions. I wonder if her salary is high because of it. =P Eros must have wanted her to remain Angus’ assistant since she is professional and not like the others before who went to bed with him. I do find it a bit queer that Lou Shang’s workplace has too many of Fei Yi’s blow out photos. Isn’t it strange for him to put them when this is the model who stole his boyfriend? I guess he must be really professional when in comes to the business though he did show his tantrum [lashing out at others because he is angry – perhaps remembered he was dumped by Lele’s father] when he saw Lele earlier.

Ouran High Host Club [Chapter 48 - Part 1 of 2]

On the day of Ouran’s first sport competition, Ranka [dressed as a woman], Meiko and Misuzu were amazed that it will be held on such a huge coliseum as Misuzu thought that it is a bit extravagant. While they are walking upstairs to the audience seats, Misuzu asks Ranka if it is okay for people like them to go to rich people’s sports event. Meiko angrily tells him to just go home if he is like that for she doesn’t want to be with a girly guy like him. Misuzu emotes that Meiko is too much for he woke up early just to make a lunch box for her. Meiko angrily shouted for him to shut up, you are noisy, male-ganguro, leave. Misuzu says but Meiko, you are also a ganguro. Ranka says, yes, you two are ganguro so quit arguing. Ranka proudly shows a paper to them as he says not to worry for he isn’t a parent of a student, even if he didn’t tell Haruhi about it, but he got this letter of introduction with the help of Kyouya according to the standard procedure so there won’t be a problem. Meiko asks if he is the father, why would he need a letter of introduction. Ranka winks at them and tells them that even if the school is rich, this is still sports where money doesn’t matter. Ranka opens the door and tells them to hurry for it is starting.

There are tables in the middle of the coliseum as there is an announcement, the first event is Girls ‘Eating Bread Contest’ and set up at the middle are Italian made tables and chairs since this is the first sports competition, this is the director general/president [Tamaki's dad] will give a gift for the girls. The girls are really happy about it as Ranka and others are stunned. The announcer says that on the table are three pieces of croissant made from France’s famous bakery [I can’t guess the name but something with a name Richard wine store] and that the rules is for them to guess the filling inside the bread then they will walk 5 meters to the goal, it is a ‘Bread Guessing Contest’. The Red team girls are happily eating that it is delicious and they can’t guess it. There are many waiters lined up on to the goal. Ayame then calls a waiter. The announcer says that Ayame has already called a waiter, it is correct, she guessed it in just three minutes. The waiter beside her is raising up a 0 sign for correct while holding the X sign down. The announcer says that finally there is a contestant who managed to guess and now she is gracefull walking to the finish line, the white team manages to control the competition. Ranka and others were ‘alienated’ as they sweatdrop. Ranka says money does have a say in such things. Meiko says it isn’t a race, it is a tea party.

At the Red team, Tamaki goes to Haruhi, sitting beside Hikaru, asking why didn’t she join the bread eating contest. Haruhi replies that it is because she can’t guess what is inside. Tamaki shouts that she should experience everything. Hikaru tells Tamaki to use his brain before talking since all the contestants in the bread eating contest are girls so Haruhi can’t join. Tamaki protests for he had put tuna belly [sashimi] in the bread of the Red team tables just for Haruhi. Just then, a Red team girl feels sick. Just then, the announcer says that something has happened in the Red team table. Tamaki and others looks in surprised. All the Red team girls felt sick as one says, there is something in the bread that they can’t guess what it is, it has a fishy rotten smell. Tamaki and others were shock. The announcer says that the Red team can’t continue so they have to withdraw hence, this event is won by the White team. [I think the game is for every girl that guessed it and went to the goal, is one point so even if Ayame already guessed it, the game isn’t finished yet] Red team members are angrily looking at Tamaki as they ask him why did he poison his own members. Tamaki cries as he tries to explain that it isn’t poison for there is a salmon sandwich, a tuna sandwich is also possible and it is very delicious. They tell him not to say things that they don’t understand.

The 100 meter dash for boys is about to start as Red team contestants wonder what is happening at the their group for it is quite noisy. They ask what is it about tuna and it seems that there is a problem. The announcer is already doing a countdown that while they were discussing it, it is time to run as the White team quickly dash to the finish. The Red team tried to catch up but they can’t so White team wins again. Red team members who were harassing Tamaki were shock as the announcer says that they don’t know what Red team is fussing about, but during that time, the second event is easily won by the White team. At the White team side, Kaoru notes that the Red team is self-destructing. Honey says it is one mistake after another. Matsudaira says could it be because this that Kyouya said that they can easily be first place in ‘Guessing Bread Contest’. Kanan laughs and says, no wonder it is Kyouya, this is really a good coincidence that Kyouya managed to see through it. Kyouya smiles and tells them that it is too early to be rejoice, anyone who is dependent only on strength easily loses in a fight, for now, it is much better to just steadily fight as the other side get tired, to attain the points.

Then there is an announcement that it is time for the ‘throw ball competition’ so contestants should go to the field. Haruhi says that she has to go. Tamaki panickly says it is Haruhi’s turn so if she is nervous, write the word ‘pretty’ using her mind on her hand three times. Ritsu started doing what Tamaki suggested as Haruhi smiles and tells Tamaki not to be nervous for she will do her best to reverse the situation. Tamaki is surprised and felt his heart beating while the girls are awed by Haruhi telling her to do her best. Haruhi and Ritsu left for the stadium. The announcer says that the game is something like a basket is four meters above and they will try to toss the ball into the basket – this game is really plain and simple. Ranka is a bit irritated with how the announcer says that. They will use a basket made by this famous person and the balls are this special handmade beanshape-rocks by another famous person. Misuzu and Meiko were shocked to hear this. While Haruhi is about to throw the beanbags, Meiko shouted at Haruhi that those highly well-made beanbags aren’t toys. Haruhi is surprised to see Meiko there. Meiko orders Haruhi to pick those things up and not to get it dirty. Haruhi did as she is ordered as her puzzled teammates wonder what is she doing. Meiko also orders the redhead [Ritsu] to help. The other teammates ask if it is Haruhi’s friend and that if Haruhi didn’t pick all those beanbags, she will be punished/suffer. They feel sorry for Haruhi so they picked up the beanbags and gave them all to Haruhi. The announcer then says that Red team members aren’t tossing the ‘balls’ into the basket but instead giving it to Haruhi so it is an easy victory for White team. Red team groans in defeat. At the White team, Kaoru asks if the one who got Meiko to come is...Kyouya smiles and says that he only wanted Ranka to see Haruhi in the competition. Kaoru is speechless and sweatdrops as Honey is happy to see Meiko.

Kuze then goes to Tamaki asking what this is all about. Tamaki is happy that Kuze is okay now. Kuze asks, what is okay for didn’t he ask Tamaki to be the leader but what is he doing that they are now losing. Kuze angrily peels the orange with his teeth as he says that it is all because of Kyouya who is doing underhand/dirty tactics. Tamaki and Hikaru are surprised by this comment. Tamaki says that it isn’t true for most of what happened is Red Team’s fault. Hikaru says, it can be said that half of it is Tamaki’s fault. Tamaki tells Kuze that White team is doing their best to win so he has a request as Tamaki goes near to Kuze. Surprised, Kuze asks what is it. Tamaki seriously tells Kuze that if there is a openly fair manly contest, he hopes Kuze would promise not insult Kyouya carelessly ever again. Kuze is surprised as he backs off and agrees to Tamaki’s request.

Hehe, it does seem that Red team is self-destructing that I’m guessing that Kyouya has guessed that Red team will pretty much mess up the first few games even without doing anything, mainly caused by Tamaki. Tamaki didn’t know that when they say tuna sandwich, it isn’t raw that they put in it. =P I can’t really say about Meiko being there is actually Kyouya’s plan when he got Ranka to see the games but it is most likely that it is deliberate as Meiko will likely protest about them using that famous beanbags for Meiko highly respects craftpeople/dressmaker..whoever makes those beanbags and Haruhi participating who would obviously do what Meiko orders her to do. It is natural for Kuze to be really angry that it is his bad luck to be ‘scared’ stiff by Kyouya that he wasn’t able to participate in the planning process. Tamaki really looked serious and maybe a bit angry when Kuze badmouths Kyouya. Tamaki made this competition so that Kuze can see that Kyouya can play/fight fair and square also get Kuze to stop insulting Kyouya. Will that be possible? In the next part...obviously, it isn’t. =P

The One [Volume One - Part 2 of 4]

The next day at school, Lele is surprised to see Xiao Qui having a bandage on her head. Xiao Qui explains that it is because she got hit while trying to take pictures of Angus at the airport and by the time she came to, Angus had already left. Lele tells her that her day is much better for after the failed auditions, she met a strange man and her aunt has gave her some assignment. She asked Xiao Qui to look at the different expressions that she so far has got. Xiao Qui looked at the pictures on her digital camera and laughs for it is Lele picking her teeth with a toothpick with her leg up on the chair. Lele is embarrassed for it was the one taken by her grandmother. She asks Xiao Qui to do her a favor by taking some pictures of her while at school. While walking, Xiao Qui brought up about Lele’s aunt on W fashion magazine as a fashion model manager and if her aunt knows anyone in the magazine. Lele says that she think her aunt has. Xiao Qui then glomps Lele telling her that Angus has a photo shoot for that magazine so could she ask her aunt to get them in. After school, Lele goes to ask her aunt about it. Her aunt thought about it for a while and decided that it would be good for Lele to see a professional at work so she will help Lele.

Lele and Xiao Qui are now in front of W magazine building. Xiao Qui is so excited that they got in and is amazed to see all the famous people in the industry including the showbiz industry. A guy invited them in the studio as the two are surprised [more like admire surprised] to see Angus posing. To their surprise, a guy says that Angus is really good looking. They were shocked for it is Lou Shang, W’s demanding editor. The guy who escorted them earlier gave Lou Shang a cup of water when he suddenly goes to Lele to ask if she is Fei Hong’s niece. He then says it is such a waste for Lele’s father is a useless man. Lou Shang then tosses the water cup, telling the guy, Wan that it isn’t 25C temperature so give him another cup and then he started critizing the workers’ outfits. Lele realizes that this is the world of fashion as she watches through the process of a photo shoot. The shoot has ended as Lou Shang thanked Angus for his work. To Xiao Qui’s excitement, Angus is going there way as he is walking out with his assistant. As he passes by, Angus bumped on Lele’s shoulder but he just stared at her coldly. Xiao Qui then asks Angus for an autograph as Lele is still holding her shoulder, stunned as she thought that when she sees Angus her heart will beat fast but it turned out to be a nothing.

Lele then goes to her aunt to complain about what Lou Shang said about her father as her aunt is laughing out loud. She then asks her aunt if Lou Shang knows her father. Her aunt then says since Lele is grown up already so telling her will be no big deal. Her aunt then tells her that her father used to be Lou Shang’s lover whom her mother later took away from Lou Shang. Lele is shocked to learn this as her aunt continues to tell her that Lou Shang must be deeply hurt by it that he suddenly said he wanted to be straight and started going after her which is a nightmare to her. If it isn’t for Lele, she wouldn’t even ask Lou Shang for this favor. She then asks Lele how was the photo shoot, did she learn something. Lele just answers that so her father is gay what is the big deal. Her aunt asks what is she saying, it seems knowing about it is such a shock for Lele. As Lele walks out the park, she feels weakening for it is another strange day – not feeling anything for the model she likes and knowing her father is gay. She then sits down the bench to think things for a while when to her surprise, she sees the orange-stealing bum at the other bench. Eros, the bum, is holding a cup of coffee as a man with a kid drops a coin in the cup. Eros freaks out for how is he going to drink it now. The man then tells his kid to study hard so that he won’t become a bum like that man. Lele is angry that the man is actually using the bum as a lecture for his kid and not really voluntarily giving money to the bum. Lele then shouts at Eros why isn’t he working when he still has his legs and hands so that people won’t look down on him. Eros is then surprised to see her, calling her orange sister. Eros says that he isn’t bothered by it since that is really normal for that guy to do that but as long as one is content with one who is, that is enough. Lele is surprised by his answer and asks so is he a happy bum. Eros says he is. Then, the two spend the rest of the day, looking at the sky.

An Bai, Angus assistant, is in a state of panic as Eros returns back to the hotel. Eros asks what is it as An Bai says it is because of Angus. An Bai tells Eros that Angus went out for a while but returned after half an hour later with a group of young models and it happened when she isn’t paying attention much. She says that she already told Angus while in New York to behave while he is out of the country but she haven’t thought that he would go to his wild side already. They head to his room with a card key as Eros tells An Bai that telling those things to Angus is useless for he is the type to do whatever he wants. An Bai says that it is because she knows that the Taiwan press is pretty good so she fears what kind of news might come out of this. She asks herself why is Angus living crazily like this. Eros then tells her to tell that to Angus himself. In the room, Angus is partying with some models with two girls at his side. An Bai is freaking out as Angus started to seduce her, asking her to play with them. Eros, standing by the door while holding a bottle of wine, says he forgot about him. The others are freaking out who Eros is while An Bai and Angus are freaking out scared. Eros then acts like a pervert, saying something about not wanting to share Angus with others. A woman then tells Eros not to be like that for they should go on a ‘high’ while playing. Eros says really but he hates those kind. He breaks the bottle on the wall and threatens the woman with the broken bottle to go away. An Bai and Angus is surprised as to how well Eros is playing the role of pervert gay as Eros threatens everyone to leave for he isn’t nice when drunk. The models then got scared and quickly make excuses as they all left.

Eros is quite satisfied that things are quiet again as An Bai asks won’t he be worried about his reputation. Angus then goes laughing about ‘brothers going wild’ as Angus shouted it would be more fun if there is a ‘french kiss game’ and he should remember it when they return to New York next time. Eros angrily though, what next time, you fool. After An Bai left, Eros asks Angus didn’t he promise to behave. Angus is about to drink some wine as he tells Eros that he is behaving for he isn’t taking drugs nor going out with prostitutes. Eros angrily takes away the glass of wine, telling him about not having self-control. Angus sweatdrops and thought could it be Eros wanted to drink it as Eros drinks the glass of wine. Angus then glomps Eros and clings to him, surprising Eros. Angus says it is all Eros’ fault since he doesn’t accompany him and always goes out alone to play for he just want to spend lots of time with him. Angus shouted that they were separated for around 6 years already. This surprises Eros as Eros tells him that it is already in the past for aren’t they together now. Angus complains that it seems that Eros is hiding something from him. Angus says that Eros tend to stare into space that he [Angus] can’t guess what is he thinking about that at times, he feels like Taylor knows more about Eros than he does. Eros then pinches his nose and telling him that it is because Taylor was the one who took care of him those six years and why is he making a big deal about it. Eros angrily says that he isn’t hiding anything, Angus is just thinking too much, people change in a span of six years. Angus sits down on the sofa, a bit irritated, asking is that so. Angus asks so why is Eros being secretive and goes out acting like a bum, not wanting him to go with Eros. Eros then reprimands Angus that his work [as director] is really busy so is it a sin to secretly relax on hiw own. He doesn’t meddle in what Angus does while he isn’t at work. Hugging a pillow and having a bit of tantrum, Angus says but still, it is because when Eros isn’t there that he feels lonely so could he accompany him tonight as they watch the stars. Flashback: they were kids as young Eros looks out the starry sky and Angus sleeping beside him. End flashback. Eros thought it is like when they were young as he looks up the sky and Angus is sleeping. Angus thought that Taipei’s starry sky is really glittery.

So, Lele has finally seen the one who made her want to try out to be a model but it turned out to be a disappointment. There is no ‘love at first sight’, fireworks, heartbeating, etc. But then, who would if the other party just coldly stare at you and didn’t even apologize ^^; What a major turnoff. Is it too much of a coincidence whenever Lele is a bit down, she meets the bum/Eros who somehow cheers her up. ^^;; One can easily guess whom the author is planning to pair her up with. =P It is shown here that Angus is the wild, extrovert and a bit childish when it comes to Eros type of person while Eros is a bit more of introvert, bordering secretive and more mature. It turned out that they were separated for six years that made Angus really clingy to Eros. Isn’t it a bit weird for Eros to be a bit ‘cold’ to his twin if they lost in touch for six years? Well, there is a reason for that, too.

While waiting for her friend, Lele has bought a GQ magazine as she is infatuated with a picture of a guy poses like a bird, breaking free of his cage. Her friend, Xiao Qui came and apologizes for being late. Her friend then sees Lele holding the magazine and screams that it is Angus Lanson. Xiao Qui says that she want one, too. Lele cluelessly asks if he is famous. Xiao Qui says that he is the current world top model included in the top 50 beautiful people, also he has a twin who is a famous New York director. Lele naïvely asks what does a director do. Xiao Qui reprimands her for knowing more about the fashion world when Lele’s mother used to be a model and her aunt works in fashion, too. Lele sweatdrops as Xiao Qui daydreams about being the twins. Lele tells her that she isn’t sure of it for Angus’ twin could be a fraternal twin and doesn’t look anything like Angus. Lele describes him as an ugly guy freaking Xiao Qui out. Later on, Lele went back home to find her aunt, Fei Hong, visiting as her grandma who lives with her greets her. Lele warmly welcomes her aunt as her aunt noticed that Lele grew taller again and that she will become as beautiful as her mother. Lele is about to say something when her aunt stops her from badmouthing the fashion industry and it is a waste for her not to use the genes that Lele is gifted with. Lele’s grandma tells Fei Hong not to force Lele.

Lele narrates that while living, her mother is a famous model but while on a trip to Paris with her father, the plane crashed. Her aunt is the younger sister of her mother and they were quite close so she wants Lele to continue her mother’s dream. She was made to pose while she is young that the experience traumatize her so she doesn’t care about fashion but I now changed my mind. She then tells her surprised aunt and grandma that she will try fashion for what her aunt said is true, it would be waste the ‘gifts’ her mother gave her though she can’t guarantee that she will be as famous as her mother. Her aunt and grandma then looked a bit thoughtful. In her room, Lele cuts the picture of Angus Lanson from the magazine and puts it on her wall. She thought that if her aunt knew that the real reason is because of this guy’s picture, her aunt will freak out. She thought she wants to go into his world and she know it is foolish but she hoped that one day, she will see him. The next day, Xiao Qui is shock that Lele decided to become a model. Lele is about to explain why when Xiao Qui thought that if Lele becomes a model, she has a chance to go backstage and look at handsome guys. Xiao Qui then exclaims that she will support Lele. Lele nervously says that her aunt got her an audition for a commercial of a facial cleanser and they want to see her after seeing some of her pictures. The two then happily imagines Lele being a model.

At 12:25am, Lele tries to sleep as she is nervous for her aunt says she is busy so she can’t accompany her to the audition. Just then, Xiao Qui calls as Lele happily answer her mobile phone, thinking she is saved. To Lele’s surprise, Xiao Qui is exclaiming that Angus will be visiting Taiwan and she will go to the airport to meet him so would Lele go with her tomorrow. Lele sadly tells her that her audition is on tomorrow. Xiao Qui says it is such a waste but she has not choice but to go alone as she tells Lele to do her best to get the part for the advertisement. Lele thought that she wants to go to the airport, too and see Angus. Lele quickly wipes away her tears for she has an audition as she wonders what is Angus like in real life. At the audition, Lele’s thought are in seeing Angus at the airport as girls including Xiao Qui are screaming wildly for him. Lele lamely introduces herself – 16 years old, born on Nov 25, blood type O, Sagittarius, likes to read comics, sleep, the person she likes the most is her grandma and her greatest dream is to earn money to treat her grandma to a trip around the world. The three ‘judges’ tell her to stop and looked at her from head to toe and started to criticize her appearance. The strict looking lady then asks her if it is her first time to audition for why does she look unprepared and why is she dressed up like that. Lele is totally clueless as she didn’t even put make-up for she doesn’t know how. The three then started to insult her for why would Fei Hong let such a girl like her into her agency.

Frustrated, while walking home, Lele calls up her aunt to complain about it and while wasn’t she told to be prepared for it. Her aunt just calmly says it is because Lele didn’t ask. Lele shouted how could she ask when it is her first time in an audition. Her aunt tells her that will serve as a lesson for her to be independent for she can only depend on herself. This surprises Lele and she asks if her aunt is just at home, pretending to be busy on that day that she can’t accompany her. Her aunt hangs up the phone as she laughs at Lele for belittling the fashion industry. Lele is so angry at her aunt. Lele then is a bit depressed as she walks by a fruit stall and decided to buy some oranges. She thought that it seems she is going further away from Angus. Just then, she trips and her oranges fell all over the place. She quickly picks the oranges up. When she is about to get one, a bum sitting on a bench picked up the one that has rolled on his shoe. The bum is unshaved, wearing a hat with a fly flying over his head and sunglasses. To Lele’s shock, the bum started to break open the orange and ate it. Lele shouted why is he eating her orange. The bum says that it went to him and chose its owner so if she doesn’t want it to be eaten by someone else, she shouldn’t have scatter it all over the place. Lele is freaking out and says out loud what is wrong with today, is it revenge for joining the fashion industry for impure reasons that she failed an audition and now being bullied by a bum. She thought it is all Angus’ fault. She cries that she must have disappointed her parents.

The bum started to laugh out loud and asks if she wants to become a model for nothing in her appearance shows that she is a model. He continues that on tv, models have poise that even if they tripped, they will stand up and continue walking unlike her who just cries/whines. Angered, Lele then poses and asks is it like this. The bum says yes that’s it but it seems that she isn’t tall enough. Lele trips at his comment and grabs his collar, shouting that her aunt says she is still 16 so she can still grow taller. The bum asks really. Lele shouts not to underestimate her for her mother is a super model. The bum then congratulates her for she has 80% chance of becoming a butterfly from a caterpillar. Lele asks what does he mean, does he mean she is a caterpillar. Just then, two butterflies flies by them, surprising the two. The bum says could this is some kind of omen. As they watch the butterflies fly away, Lele thought that it seems the day isn’t totally bad. At her house, Lele cheerfully greets her grandma. Her grandma greets her back as she tells Lele to eat dinner. Looking at Lele, her grandma thought that it seems that Lele is okay so she is relieved for she heard from her aunt that she failed the audition. Lele nervously asks if her aunt is angry when she called. Her grandma says not really and that her aunt actually gave her something. Lele is really happy for it is a digital camera, something she always wanted. Her grandma tells her to call her aunt. Lele calls to thank her aunt for the gift only to realize that it is her assignment to take pictures of herself in various emotions and she can asks people to help. She would want the pictures by next week then her aunt hangs up on her. Her grandma asks Lele what did the aunt said. In tears, she nervously smile and asks her grandma for help.

At some hotel, the bum went into his room as he removed his sunglasses, coat and hat. He is surprised to see someone [Angus] sleeping on his bed. He sighs and calls out for Angus to wake up. Angus is talking in his sleep as he says, darling, be quiet, let me sleep longer. Irritated, the bum then pulls the bed sheets up as Angus falls down on the floor. Angus shouted what was he doing for what will he [bum] do if his million dollar face is ruined. The bum tells him to sleep on his own room for it doesn’t look good for him to sleep in other guy’s room for Angus’ reputation isn’t good already so don’t drag him into it. Angus frustrated and then started to hug the bum, shouting but you are my brother. Angus’ brother/bum thought that is why it is scary. [I will call him Eros since that is his name aside from the other name he uses so that I don’t have to call him bum/or Angus’ brother – his name appears much later] Eros then shoves Angus’ face away as he tells him to get away for it is hot. Angus angrily shouted as to how could Eros just shove his beautiful younger brother like that. Eros smiles at him and says he is already tired of seeing that face for he even sees it on the mirror so if Angus doesn’t have anything else to say, he can leave while he is taking a bath. Angus is angry like a child who didn’t get what he wanted.

After taking a bath, Eros came out and is surprised that Angus is still in his room. Angus then praises that Eros actually looks good that he could also be a model if he fixes himself up. Eros shouted as to what he is still in his room. Angus then goes a bit touchy that Eros has gotten muscled up and could he be doing. Eros is grossed out that Angus is acting like a pervert that he hits Angus head with a lamp. Angus then asks what did Eros did during the day for Eros has been missing since they left the airport and he is worried for he doesn’t know of Eros’ ‘weird hobby’. Eros says that he thinks too much for he just tired that he sat down and look at people. Angus asks if the people in Taipei friendlier than in New York, did he get some coins, mr bum. Eros says that he didn’t get any coins, only oranges. He tells him about a girl falling right in front of him while carrying oranges and even told him that she is going to be a model and her mom is a super model. Angus laughs at the story and asks if the girl is beautiful. Eros asks if it is really funny and the girl is just in her growth stage. Angus asked would the girl asked Eros to help her if she knew he is a famous New York director. Eros says that he won’t know. Angus says that is indeed right for no one would guess his disguise and why would Eros be secretive. Eros says that he isn’t like him who likes attention. Angus says that is true as he likes to be in the limelight. Eros says that if it is like that then why not go to his own room to get some beauty sleep. Angus angrily shouted why is Eros kept on wanting him to leave for would it kill Eros if he stayed. Eros asked what is he saying for doesn’t Angus have work tomorrow since this is his responsibility. Eros pats his cheek as Angus relents saying that Eros is right. As he is about to leave, Angus calls him Yin [It means Silver in Chinese] if he has a nightmare, remember to call him. Angus left as Eros seemed thoughtful, looking elsewhere.

This story seems to be relying on destiny and fate as the main theme. It is the destiny of Lele to be a great model like her mother. It is fate for her to meet with Eros, who would have thought a famous director is disguising as a bum. ^^; I actually like that kind of love story for it is quite romantic ^_^ I find the part wherein Lele doesn’t know what a director does a bit unbelievable. At this age and living in a city, not knowing what a director does? ^^; Maybe Lele isn’t the type to watch tv which I doubt. It can be noticed that the two twins character is different from each other. I think there is a reason for it but I will discuss that when I get to that chapter.

Weekly Jump: Gintama [Chapter 153-154]

In a huge mansion, A lady is taking on the phone with Taizou [sunglasses guy who can’t get a permanent job] saying that he finally has a job. The lady turned out to be his ex-wife, Hatsu who wanted to treat him out for she wasn’t able to help him before. Taizou is about to tell her how about starting all over again when someone calls Hatsu that Hatsu apologizes and hangs up the phone. Taizou thought that it is a guy’s voice. At the subway, Taizou is on his way to work while Gin is also there. Taizou asks if that other guy is more important than him. They talk some stuff about not all people on sunglasses are bad and the first gift of his wife to him when he got a job. Gin sighs that if Taizou kept thinking of women, he might not fail/fired from the job but he will hope that Taizou will finally get this one. Taizou thanks him as he goes out to his stop and waves to Gin that he will finally get happiness on his hand. Gin tells him not to fail. Taizou gives him the thumbs up but then, he trips. He is about to fall into the train tracks at the other side that he holds on this woman just as they fall down and a train is in coming. [For a while, I thought it will be Gantz ^^;] The train passes by and everyone sees that they are save..though Taizou is holding the woman upside down that her underwear is exposed. People are shouting he is a sexual harrasser while others say he is Kinnikuman/Muscleman [Jump series about a hero who saves the world in his own clumsy way].

Taizou and Gin, accompanied by Kagura and Shinpachi, meets again only in prison. Taizou asks him if Gin could help him get a rope. Gin says he already bought one but, here is the investigation report about your wife. [I think Taizou asked Gin to learn who is the guy he heard on the phone] Taizou takes the envelop and asks if Gin has it [rope] or not. Gin says as long as you are alive, there is a chance. Taizou asks again if he has or not. Gin tries to change the topic as Taizou kept on asking for a rope then he screams that he wants to die already for even if he lives, he will be filled with pain, etc that everyone is calling him a harasser for after all, his wife left him. He kept on whining that no one will believe that he is innocent, etc as Gin got irritated and punches Taizou as the glass between them breaks. Someone stops Gin as Gin says that if he thinks that way, they shouldn’t have come there. Kagura and Gin got angry at him why he is thinking like that – spitting on him. Shinpachi says that he is imprisoned for 7 days already so haven’t they finished their investigation yet. Taizou says that he already lost hope nor care anymore and asks them to just bring a rope. Shinpachi protests as Taizou says he is just joking and that he is just really tired so why don’t they leave. After they left, Taizou looks at the envelop they left and saw pictures of his wife and a certain guy. Just then, someone wanted a word with him and it is the same person as on the picture. He introduces himself as Yabukiba, a prosecutor.

Walking back to the office, Kagura and Shinpachi talked about Yabukiba being Taizou’s enemy and he is such a great prosecutor that Taizou will have no chance against him. Back at the prison, Yabukiba is asking/threatening Taizou to sign divorce papers. He then says that he has the ability to make Taizou guilty [beheaded] or not guilty and doesn’t he want Hatsu’s happiness. Yabukiba tells Taizou to think about it and either way he chooses, Hatsu will be his. At the office, a woman is asking for Gin and then introduces herself as Hatsu, Taizou’s wife. Later that night, Taizou is thinking why, why even a small happiness is taken from him. It seems like he is Heidi, happily taking some flowers which haven’t bloomed yet and was taken by this old man and pulled down a cliff. [There is a note about Heidi being unfortunate and can’t escape that fate – I don’t recall that from the classic story, maybe it is some other story] Then, later on, a guard says that Taizou has a visitor. It is Gin. Taizou asks if he has a rope now. Taizou then shows the divorce papers that Yabukiba tells him to sign or else, he will be sent to his death. He tells Gin that he decided to sign for he doesn’t really want to die and this way, his wife can have a brand new start. He asks Gin to laugh for because he love his own life that he is selling his own wife, he...Gin is expressionless the whole time then says that his wife came. Taizou is surprised as Gin tells him that Hatsu can’t contact him so she went to his place to tell Taizou to do his best in looking for a new job and to give him this. Gin then holds up a small bundle. Taizou is surprised and asks doesn’t she know about what happened to him. Gin says who knows for he didn’t say anything about it. Gin then leaves, saying that is all. While leaving, Gin says he will bring the rope next time and he will make him be prepared for it.

After Gin left, Taizou looks at the divorce papers and to his surprise, he sees Heidi from behind asking him why don’t he sign the papers for doesn’t he want to die. In some field with a cliff at the side, Taizou in dog suit struggles with Heidi and he got pinned down by Heidi. Taizou grabs the divorce papers and shove it into Heidi’s mouth and toss her into the cliff. Heidi laughs that no matter how many times this happen, she will still live. Taizou looks down and says that if a man doesn’t fight and teeth, he will be deadmeat for he decided to fight until the end. He then smokes, filled with fighting spirit. Back to reality, the hearing of his case starts. Taizou thought that even if he is behead, he won’t let a person like Yabukiba have her for he will be the one who will protect her. The judge then asks why doesn’t Taizou have a lawyer. Gin came disguised as a lawyer with glasses saying that he will defend Taizou. Taizou is shocked and asked mentally why is Gin there. Gin tells him since Taizou is going to fight, he will join him. The trail starts as Yabukiba explains the details of the case. Gin manages to Taizou that he isn’t imitating Kinnikuman and he just happens to fall down. Taizou is amazed at Gin’s ability to defend him as Gin smiles, holding his fan with the word ‘Sugar’ on it.

Gin asks Yabukiba if there is anything else when Yabukiba brought out a box full of porn magazines saying that Taizou is really a harasser. Taizou falls down his imaginary cliff and says he forgot about those as Heidi is trying to pull him down. Gin then says that those are circumstantial evidence and suggests that they watch it. Later on, the judge agrees that it is indeed circumstantial. By this time, grandpa has shot down Heidi and Taizou is going up the cliff, thinking he has a chance to be free. Gin wanted the case to be closed but Yabukiba says that he had Gin investigated and he learned something interesting. Gin tries to object saying that he isn’t on trial here. The judge let Yabukiba present it for they have a right to know what kind of defense lawyer Taizou has. Yabukiba asks if everyone has seen Jump issue 11 with Naruto has the cover. Gin asks why is he bringing that up. Yabukiba then opens Jump to the pages where Gin is peeping tom on a girl dressing up, asking doesn’t this guy look familiar. Gin in goat suit and Taizou both fell down the cliff saying that is foul play for 3 million people saw it.

This would be more fun if I know who is the lawyer that Gin is spoofing but then, somehow I feel as if I had seen a lawyer show wherein one always ‘objects’ ^^;; I wonder who will save these two. I really feel sorry for Taizou..he really has no luck in finding a permanent job. I’m guessing that his wife still loves him. I do wonder why the author deliberately hides her face. This case doesn’t seem new regarding the prosecutor blackmailing the criminal though I can’t quite recall where I have somewhat read/watched it before. ^^;

Weekly Jump: Bleach, Naruto, One Piece and D. Gray-man

Ulquiorra visits Gin in the control room as they have some idle chat and Ulquiorra noted that Gin has been messing with the hallways in Bleach [c. 264]. Gin denies it, saying he doesn’t like sad stories. Back to Aronico-Rukia, Aronico tries to say that it is as ‘payment’ for killing him as Kaien before. Rukia says that she will be willing to pay the price with her life if that would make Kaien happy but now, she is going to save Inoue so he can take it next time. Aronico then passes it as a joke and offers her another deal about exchanging the ‘payment of her life’ with the ‘heads of her comrades’. By then, Rukia realized that this Kaien is a fake for Kaien isn’t that kind of person. She is really angry that Aronico still tries to pass himself off as Kaien that she quickly unleashes her zanpaku. Aronico looks a bit surprised but then smiles as he also prepares to attack. Renji has by then noticed Rukia as Dondo, the hollow with him asks what’s holding him up. Renji says it is nothing then, the two suddenly falls down at a trap door, separately. Renji then looks around where he is when there is someone laughing that he had set traps and he can’t believe they fall for it. That someone is Espada 8, Grants [if I recall the one who likes to experiment, the arrancar with pink hair]. This chapter shows that it is because of Gin that Rukia met Aronico. Gin really likes to tease Rukia. ^^;; He must be a sadist though it seems to be only with Rukia. I’m guessing here, since Rukia is espada 9, Renji is espada 8, Ichigo is espada 6 [Grimmjow] so could it be that Ishida’s will be espada 7 or well, 10 Yammy? I do wonder what is Noitre’s rank since he claimed to be the strongest, he must be the top though I’m thinking Ulquiorra would probably be on top, too.

In Naruto [c. 343], over many unconscious bodies of ninjas, Orochimaru comments about Sasuke being not coldhearted enough but he is happy that Sasuke has became so strong that he will Sasuke’s body soon. Meanwhile, Naruto has a hard time eating ramen since his hand is broken. Sakura remembered Naruto thinking it is nothing at all as long as Sakura is there to heal him and they are closer to going after Sasuke [in strength, I guess]. Sakura offers to feed Naruto but Sai was the one who did even though it is hot, saying that according to the book, if a friend should help when one is in need. Naruto reprimands him about his timing. Just then, Kakashi joins them who ends up being the one to feed Naruto, much to Naruto’s dismay. Sakura teases Kakashi why he is up and about when he is usually at the hospital. Kakashi says it is because he didn’t use his power in the last battle, though he would if Naruto fails to finish off the enemy. Kakashi praises Naruto for what he did that Naruto could be even or even surpass him but he warns Naruto to be careful since it is a very powerful technique and can backlash. Back to Orochimaru’s liar, he is a bit sick as Kabuto goes out to get some medicine. While at bed, vomiting blood, someone attacks Orochimaru with a sword. It is Sasuke, saying that since Orochimaru has nothing more to teach him, then, he will just be coldhearted in front of him. Even though Sasuke is cool, etc, I won’t want to be allies with him nor consider him as a friend. Hehe, maybe that’s why Naruto is a ‘greater’ person than me. I think it will be harder for me to think as if it is nothing when someone tries to backstab me or in Naruto’s case, kill me and become the enemy. Here, Sasuke shows he only thinks of his own interests as he now tries to kill off Orochimaru since Orochimaru has outlived his usefulness for him. That is what Orochimaru got coming for after all, Sasuke has betrayed people who used to be closed to him so what would stop him from doing that to Orochimaru. Well, Sasuke has to do that after all, he would want to give his body easily to someone like Orochimaru. I do wonder if Orochimaru lived this long by the author just so that he could only pass his knowledge to Sasuke. I do wonder if Kabuto is lurking somewhere. I’m hope they are not stupid enough to believe that Sasuke will be willingly give up his body to them.

Inside the mansion, Nami and others were greeted by a lady with stitches on her body called Cindry who likes to toss plates at Usopp in One Piece [c. 446]. Hogback then came out to stop her as he explains that Cindry used to have a fiancé whom she tried to test his patience by breaking plates only to have the engagement broken. [I guess so that is why she hates plates] Hogback then invites them inside the mansion. On the dining table, Hogback denies knowing what those zombies outside are but rather, he is investigating them so that he can learn how the dead lives. Chopper is excited about that and would want to see Hogback’s lab but he was scarily turned down by Hogback. Cindry suggests that they take a bath since they are all dirty. Usopp then asks if they had seen an afro talking skeleton [Brook] Hogback says he haven’t though thought could it be ‘him’. At the showers, Nami is taking a bath as Usopp and Chopper stands guard outside. Nami tells them that they will leave at night for she suspects that Hogback is lying for there are already zombies inside the mansion and how could he lived there for such a long time. Just then, Nami hears someone saying that she is really intelligent. Nami wonders if it is the others when to her surprise, someone grabbed her from the bath and pushed her on the wall.

Nami starts to freak out for there isn’t anyone there. Someone then says she is weaker than the woman in the ship [Robin] and ‘he?’ likes that. Nami tries to scream for Usopp and Chopper but her mouth is covered. The invinsible person then says that he wants to make Nami his woman. Just then, Usopp and Chopper comes in but they were surprised to see Nami naked. Nami manages to kick the assailant who lets go of his hand as Nami screams for help that someone is there. Just then, the window opens as Nami shouts that person is trying to escape. Usopp blows up the window. Nami then wonders out loud how could they escape when they were overheard. Usopp says that he doesn’t understand what just happened as Nami says it is an invincible man. Meanwhile, back to Luffy’s group, everyone comments that their ship, small going Merry and Brook’s ship are all caught in the large spider web so they can’t go anywhere. Luffy calls for everyone to go to the island rather then just wait there. While going down the moat, they saw the Cerberus barking at them. Sanji comments that it is safer in hell. Robin says it is cute. Franky and Zoro wants to beat it up. Luffy wants to eat it as he asks if it is delicious. The poor Cerberus are shocked and freak out. Guess they haven’t these kind of visitors before. Lol As I wrote before, this chapter is really fun with those Luffy comments. I do wonder who is the invincible man though, could it be Hogback. I wonder if he is the one Brook is looking for, if so, he could be the main villain in this story. Hogback’s character design seems awfully familiar somewhat like Nightmare before Christmas characters but somehow it isn’t. He does seem to be a vampire with those sharp fangs. I do wonder how the zombies will react with Luffy’s group. Hehe

Blood Crowley vs Jasdebit battle continues in D. Gray-man [c. 109] Jasdebit remembers the Count telling them that the innocence is a monster that will try to kill them off so they are not to be underestimated. While fighting, Crowley managed to put in some of his blood into Jasdebit that paralyzes his whole left arm. Jasdebit powers up his right hand as they go for the finishing blow. A short scene of Miranda crying as she shout that not again..no. Jasdebit is all tired as he sits near the door and separates as they fell into the door unconscious. The iron maiden opens as Blood Crowley goes back to his body as he thought it is cold and he would rest for a while before catching up with the others. I guess in this case, it is one point for Noah for Jasdebit still lives and Crowley pretty much suffers Kanda’s fate as the room is collapsing. Maybe back to Allen and others again. Would Tiki or Rhode be their next enemy? Well, the author is on break next week, maybe to think about it.

Skip Beat! [Chapter 101]

At his office, Lory is on the phone with someone regarding something and how a certain ‘her’ would feel about it but rest assured that he [Lory] will do his best to fix things. Lory then says goodbye and they will meet next month on the 12th. Lory then tells himself that even if he said that, things are still a bit hard to do and wonders if there is another way of doing it. Then, he thought of something and starts to call someone. He is looking for Sawara but only to learn Sawara is currently not at the office, talking about work with Kyouko. Meanwhile, Kyouko gloomily thought about the scripts if she should accept them or not when all of a sudden, someone slapped her at the back, exclaiming her bad posture when she is already in showbiz. Kyouko turns around to see that it is Kanae. Kyouko quickly clings to her for they haven’t seen each other for a long time. Inside the Love Me Section room, Kyouko asks Kanae’s opinion. Kanae tells her to reject all of them for Kyouko doesn’t want to be typecast as a mean person or if she accepted it, she will find it harder to get out of that. Kyouko is happy that Kanae’s opinion matches hers. Kanae also says that it would be best to reject the roles if she isn’t intent on doing her best at it. Kanae then angrily says like the roles given to her about a girl who kept on going for a guy who dumped her many times or an office lady who thought that the world revolved around men. Kyouko agrees as she looks angry [hehe, it is her past self] Kanae angrily shouted especially a daughter from a poor family, which she is. Kanae is frustrated as to why such roles are given to her and does her ‘poor smell’ reeks even if she is wearing an expensive perfume. She continues that what is that about it is okay ‘being poor as long as there is love’ – line in the drama, love can’t fill a stomach, is that how poor is being portrayed in drama, for she might be typecast as poor which she tried to avoid or get away from so that someday, even if it is dug up by the newspapers, it will be a like a joke when she is already an accomplished actress. Kyouko agrees with Kanae’s little speech as she claps her hands.

Kanae then points to Kyouko telling her that there is nothing wrong with her decision for rejecting roles than can destroy her image for she would even do that. Kyouko is really happy that Kanae thinks the same way as her. Kanae says that currently for Kyouko, it would best not to take such jobs that can’t ‘move forward’ for it will seem like she is losing. Kyouko stopped midway then asked Kanae what does she meant by losing. Kanae is surprised and then tries to cover it up saying something about a new store, ice cream store, etc but Kyouko insist on asking what does she meant by losing for it is winter so why eat ice cream. Kanae then goes in drama crying mode saying that she wants to eat ice cream with Kyouko. Kyouko is shock and goes into happy mode that Kanae has finally called her by her name that she forgot about the ‘losing’ Kanae mentioned. Kanae is really embarrassed about that as Kyouko got a stranger to tell him that it is a happy day that day for Kanae called her by her name. [Calling a name instead of usual surname means they are already close] Kanae then thought that she slipped for earlier she thought Kyouko is depressed regarding something about Shou but then, since Kyouko doesn’t watch tv, she won’t know. Kanae thought that she can’t say it for Kyouko will be depressed when she learns of it and she doesn’t know how to comfort people so it will be really troublesome. Kanae is then surprised to see Kyouko’s face in front of her. Kyouko asks why did she scream as Kanae says it is because she appear out of nowhere. Kyouko says that she has been calling her twice already and Kanae seems to be staring in space. Kanae then notices something at the back as they heard someone calling, I finally found you, Kyouko, I have a job for you as Love Me member. Kyouko turns around and surprised to see a large pirate ship with Lory dressed up as a pirate. Like everyone else, the girls freak out until Kyouko thought, Love Me member..am I imagining things.

At studio number 3, there is still filming of Dark Moon as the fans are going crazy over Ren and Hideto [new actor who has worked with Ren before] while some guys are waiting for Itsumi. Hideto says that there are many fans that day though he isn’t really happy that there are some guys. Ren says that he haven’t changed. Hideto then freaks out that if Mio [Kyouko’s role] become Mitsuki [Itsumi]’s ally in the drama then there will be more guys for both actresses. Ren doesn’t react as Hideto takes it back for she is Mio and Itsumi is more charming. Hideto then asks Ren if he knows Oohara [the one playing as Ren’s fiancé/Mio’s sister]’s phone number. Ren says that he doesn’t. He then asks what about Itsumi’s. Ren says that he doesn’t know either. Hideto groans as he says that Ren is useless, always like that. Ren apologizes. Hideto then stands up and says that it can’t be help, he will just ask himself while they are on a break. After he left, Yashiro comments that Hideto is irritating as Ren says he doesn’t think so. Yashiro complains that Ren is always like smiling like a fool even when Hideto just say bad things about Kyouko. Ren says it is okay for Hideto didn’t say it with bad intentions. Ren then thought that it is okay as long as he is the only one who knows how charming Kyouko is as he remembers Kyouko showing him corn. Yashiro then asks what is wrong with Ren who is now bending on his chair, losing strength. Ren then laments about not being strong enough that if he isn’t working, he would think of the times when they were alone. He tells his brain not to think of it – [I guess because his facial reactions might betray what he is thinking]. Then, there is some noise at the studio that Yashiro wondered if Hideto did something. Everyone is then excited as a person ask the director Ogata if it is okay. Ogata says it is okay, saying that even if he is afraid, he is really happy. The guy says he feels the same way, too. Ren and Yashiro approaches them and ask what is it about. Ogata says that he has great news for Kura is coming back. Ren looks shocked. Ogata continues that Kura is coming to Japan to publicize a movie, Hollywood star from Japan, Kura or rather the Katsuki [Ren’s role] from the drama before, Shuuhei. Ren looked stunned.

Back to more shocked faces of Kyouko and Kanae, they learned that she/they [two of the Chinese scanlations doesn’t jive for one says they while the other one says only Kyouko, I’m incline to think it will only be Kyouko since Lory seems to be addressing her rather then the two of them] will be attendants of a certain VIP. Lory says that is right. Kyouko says that there is something wrong for shouldn’t a VIP have their own attendants. Lory says normally yes but that person isn’t normal. Kyouko and Kanae darkly thought if Lory says that person isn’t normal, what kind of weird person is that VIP. Kyouko thought that she doesn’t want to be that person’s attendant. Lory says to treat him as a ‘sempai’ for the VIP used to be under him so it is okay if she just be herself and everything will be okay. Kyouko nervously says okay.

Obviously, the VIP is Shuuhei, the one whom Ren tries to be better in acting that is why he took the Dark Moon role. As to who he really is, is still a mystery like what is his relationship to Ren who doesn’t look really happy or he looks rather shock that Shuuhei is coming. Also, there is the mysterious who is the girl mentioned in Shuuhei and Lory’s phone conversation. Lory must be thinking that since Kyouko is good at fixing other people’s problems like the spoiled singer-actress before and Maria that Kyouko can do this, too. Since Dark Moon filming isn’t quite finished yet, I guess that is why Kyouko now has a wig so that she can do other roles in the meantime. Lory as a pirate is really funny. He must be a cosplayer before Lol. Also, it seemed that because of Kyouko, Shou is all fired up and did something great that Kanae doesn’t want to tell Kyouko about it for it would mean Kyouko is losing in the battle for popularity. I do wonder if Kyouko still still react that way after all the Ren scenes with her lately Hehe..especially since she seems to be falling for Ren. Ren is still hiding his feelings though. I do wonder what if the other actor, Hideto asks about Kyouko’s number, would he be surprised as to why Ren has her number. It would be obvious that there is something between them when Ren only has Kyouko’s number.

Fuuko awaits their answer as they say, the one who is going to China is. Daiya then says, it is me. Fuuko is stunned and thought, it is Daiya as the two boys are expressionless. Fuuko thought, so it is Daiya who is going far away. She then forces a smile and asks how they decided on that, did something happen in China. Ichi says that it doesn’t matter which of them goes but he is still school president and he doesn’t want to just leave just like that for he wants to do it well. Fuuko says if that is the case, he is right for it isn’t good to just leave something after being elected into it [the position]. Daiya then smiles and says that he has nothing there to prevent him for leaving. Ichi then looks at Daiya. Fuuko is all flustered as she says, really, for there will be many girls who will be lonely if he leaves, second year and third year girls, Daiya has lots of fans, there are even first year. Fuuko stops as she looks down, still stunned and thought, even ‘here’ [meaning her] so it seems that even ‘her’ can’t be ‘a reason for Daiya to stay’. Fuuko asks when is he leaving. Daiya says when the first semester/term ends. Fuuko forces herself to look at them and smiles as she tells them, she will be lonely then but there is no other way. The boys just look at her and Fuuko is silent. She then says that she will see them later as she has to help her sister in drawing the manga.

Inside her house, Misora calls her name as Fuuko is just standing at the door. Fuuko smiles and quickly walks away, apologizing as she will help her with the manga later on. Misora quickly grabbed hold of Fuuko as Fuuko asks what is Misora doing. At the boys’ apartment, Ichi sits down near the floor where they leave their shoes as he says that it makes one really troublesome/bothering [Okay, it is hard to explain but more like, what happened is really bothering him] Daiya looks at Ichi’s way. Ichi continues that Daiya is, Fuuko is, just lying. Daiya doesn’t say anything. Ichi then says, even if they tell each other their true feelings, he won’t mind. Daiya asks what..there is no need, remember, it is much better to severe/cut it [their relationship] as he goes to his room. At a park, Akiou and Issochi are walking with holding hands. Issochi says if Akiou goes to ‘Hwa ni Da’ [maybe some school], they won’t see each other like that anymore. Akiou says that they still can for she can do many parttime jobs to earn for the transportation expenses. Issochi cries that if she has to work many jobs, then they really won’t have time to see each other. Akiou is surprised for she haven’t thought of it. Issochi then whines about knowing that going to that school, her parents will be relieved, the teachers will be happy and also good for Akiou but he will be lonely. Akiou then lets his hand go and asks him, so we should break up. Issochi is surprised. Akiou says that if they don’t really talk about it, then this [breaking up] should happen. She then grabs Issochi’s collar and shouted, you useless guy. Surprising Issochi as Akiou then quickly runs away.

Fuuko is fixing her things for the school trip [sorry, I was wrong, it is about the trip when they get those papers before ^^;]as she thought, [he] will really leave, even though it [time] is very near yet it seems far away. On her bed, Fuuko is in pajamas and holding a small towel. She shouted to herself that she can now freely cry. She then thought that this is what she has decided. I will cry, cry everything out, cry the whole night long for tomorrow, she will smile. Fuuko cries as she thought for tomorrow, she will cry all her pain today. The next day, Fuuko is already smiling as her friends are surprised to learn that it is Daiya who is leaving. Fuuko laughs and says that she isn’t ready yet to see the others because her eyes must be swollen but with cold and hot compress, her eyes managed to look normal. Her friends are worried about her. Fuuko smiles at them and says that she has decided not to forget, she wants to smile, make Daiya smile and make many good memories as she will never forget that she had loved Daiya. They were speechless then Mako says, stupid, what does Fuuko uses ‘had loved’ only now. As they head back to the classroom, Fuuko sees Daiya and she happily waves at her while smiling. This surprises Daiya and Ichi has seen it. She thought that the time she has spent with Daiya, hers, Daiya’s, let this portion of love become a memory.

At the train station, everyone checks their things as they comment it is a good thing that the weather is nice. With a smile, Fuuko approaches the two boys. Fuuko’s feet hurt as she asks them why did they left early. She then gives Ichi a bento box and also Daiya, saying that it is from her mother. Ichi says that he already bought one from the store. Fuuko is surprised and asks Daiya if he bought one, too. Daiya sweatdrops and tries to say that he did. Fuuko then goes dark and says, isn’t this the time when they grow up [growth stage], they should finish it all up for they are at the growth stage of after eating they will become hungry again. She then murmurs that carrying three bento boxes are very heavy, she already has a lot of luggage/bags. The boys sweatdrop as Ichi says he will eat and Daiya says, no problem, no problem. Fuuko then happily smiles at them saying that if they eat lots, they will grow taller faster. Ichi looks glum as Daiya smiles. Fuuko thought that she is finished crying last night for she has realized that trying her best to forget will only result to more pain. Mako then arrives as she and Fuuko greet each other a good morning. A girl then says that they should take a picture. Someone asks if it is okay to do it there. The girl says it is okay. She then takes a picture as Fuuko thought, I will remember in my heart, one day, I can smile on my own, like how I’m smiling today. Everyone is giving their smiles except for Ichi.

And it is Daiya who is leaving. Did you guess, right? I think it is then that Fuuko realized that this is reality – they have broken up and have to move on. She has decided not to let Daiya leave, remembering her like that – avoiding him and getting flustered, etc. It is indeed a step to move on as she now forces? herself to smile, remembering their memories together and act like herself around the boys. I’m not quite sure why Ichi isn’t happy though – is it because Fuuko is faking it or is it because it does seem that she is happy that Daiya is leaving? ^^;; So, where does the story go from here. I think it is either the author wants a Daiya ending that they could possibly make up during the school trip though it is a bit impossible since Fuuko has just decided to move on and Daiya is intent of severing the relationship but then, this is manga so anything can happen or a Ichi ending as Daiya is gone, Ichi can concentrate on making Fuuko think of him more than a friend, since he blew it before. ^^;; Heck, the author can even introduce a new character. Hehehe Also, if the author wants to make it longer, as I mentioned before, Daiya can come back and complicate things again like sorry, I can’t live without you, blah. Anyway, until the next chapter. Oh ya, I do wonder if Akiou-Isochi has really broken up as I wonder if that is Isochi in the picture. I’m thinking that Akiou wants a long distance relationship but Isochi seems to be a bit childish as he whines more about being lonely by himself.

Fuuko is playing jump rope with the kids as the rope hits Fuuko’s hair. A kid says that her hair is ruined. Fuuko says it is okay for she can fix it and it is a small cocoon [the closest to the literal translation of butterfly vegetable ^^;] The kids says that’s right as they looked at her hair. Fuuko tells them that later on, she will become a hairstylist. The kids asked what is a hairstylist as she wonders if there will be someone beside her by then. Fuuko thought that it is a lonely feeling if even with all her effort, she can’t be a hairstylist. Fuuko then steps on the rope as the kids laughs saying Fuuko made a mistake/got caught again. She wonders if this dream can come true for she is a bit scared of the future.

In China, riding on a taxi, Ichi and Daiya look around as Ichi comments that the place is really different from Japan. Daiya says really, for he is getting confused at all the kanji [Chinese characters] Ichi sighs then asked the driver in Chinese how long will they arrive at their destination as he points to a book. The driver says around 30 minutes. Daiya is surprised and praises Ichi that he is good. Ichi says that just letting him see the characters [kanji], he [driver] will understand but the accent of how it is pronounced is a bit different. Daiya asks what did the driver say. Ichi says that it is around 30 minutes for he has more or less remembered how it should be pronounced. Daiya is amazed with Ichi. The driver then looks back asking them if they are Japanese. Daiya smiles and says thank you [Xie Xie], thank you in Chinese. He explains that having uncle/mister [driver] be troubled with them/difficult to converse with them because they can’t much Chinese, thank you. The driver is stunned and then started laughing out loud. Ichi then asks why is Daiya thanking the driver. Daiya is surprised for wasn’t ‘thank you’ [Xie Xie] in Chinese means ‘sorry’. Ichi then sweats a bit as he is stunned by Daiya’s words. Ichi tells him to learn his Chinese so that it won’t appear that coming from Japan is an idiot. Daiya tries to explains that in kanji, sorry has the word ‘thanks’ in it. The Japanese word is Xie + some Jap word.

At the lounge, Daiya’s mother looked at her watch and says that they will be there soon and as soon as they find a room for them, they will go to the factory. Note says that their parents live in the guest house. Their fathers are already eagerly waiting for them since they haven’t seen each other for such a long time. Ichi’s mother laughs and says that her family kept on asking for Koto and says that the decision will be made there soon. Daiya’s mother says that Ichi is intelligent that he can do anything they ask him to but Daiya even if he isn’t that bright, he is good with dealing with people and interacting with them that it won’t be a problem. Ichi’s mother smiles and says that it is because her father is a extravagant businessman. Daiya’s mother sighs and says really, they are really like kids as if those two old men were born at the same time. A picture of father-side grandpa saying, it isn’t a girl. Mother-side grandpa saying doesn’t look alike. [I don’t get the joke ^^;] I think the note below says that Osaka people usually live near their stores. She then says that the only thing that is left is for the kids to decide. Still in the taxi, Daiya sees a girl with the same hair as Fuuko. He looks at her as they passes by as the two boys seems to be thinking of something that they are not talking.

While shopping, Fuuko’s friends Mako and Chiso shows Fuuko a make-up bag which are similar and suggests that they buy it as each of them has one. Fuuko comments that she is really happy for it has been a long time since the three of them share a common thing. It does look that Fuuko is faking her smile. As Fuuko says they look so similar, the two friends looked at her and calls her. They says that it is strange, they feel strange/Fuuko is acting strange as they ask her to tell them if something has happened. Fuuko then just smiles and apologizes as she promises to tell them when it is all over. Fuuko thought that she is scared but there is no escaping it..’the future’..would someday change into ‘today’. That night, Fuuko is helping her sister, Misora with her manga. Misora wonders out loud as to who will be going and it will be a bit lonely [if one leaves] Fuuko tells her to concentrate on work. She ignores Fuuko and says that it is quite painful for there is a chance of either one [leaving]. Fuuko is a bit angry and doesn’t want to help her sister anymore. Misora then says that if it is her [her mangaka self], it would turn out like this.

Manga-version: Both boys say that they both decide to go to China. Fuuko is shock, how could that be. In the classroom, her friends tell her that this isn’t the time to study in class, they are both leaving that day, she clearly likes them both as Fuuko is teary eyes. She then runs and thought that she haven’t said anything yet. At the airport, she shouts at the boys, wait, I love both of you. The two boys then goes to her saying that they won’t leave anymore, the three of them will be together forever and ever and ever..The end. Fuuko angrily says, rejected. Misora is shocked. Fuuko says that is very disappointing/poor, Fuuko very disappointing, you better research better. Misora freaks out saying that she hates hearing those words then she decides to retreat saying that she is going to wash her face. Fuuko continues with the work, saying sure. Outside, Fuuko’s mother asks Misora who is Fuuko doing. Misora says that Fuuko is still too sensitive about it, pretty much forcing herself to keep on going/doing normal things.

One morning, Fuuko woke up early to wash up and gargle out loud surprising Misora. Fuuko thought that this is the way when the boys will return back. Fuuko asks if she is going to cut some screentones/something on the manga. Fuuko does it noisy that Misora tells Fuuko about it. Fuuko apologizes as Misora just sighs and says it is time to eat some snack. Then, she hears footsteps outside so she hurries outside and finds the boys just going upstairs. Fuuko greets them welcome back. Fuuko blushed/embarrassed as she asks them how is China, did you eat many ‘food’ [can’t find what kind of food it is] and did you see a panda. Fuuko then thought that these aren’t the questions she wanted to ask as the boys just looks at her. They went downstairs and faces her. Fuuko worriedly asks if they have decided. The two boys say it is already decided and the one who is going is ---

Hehe, good thing we don’t have to wait for a month to know who it is. =P It does seem that Ichi can easily adapt into China from that scene at the taxi. I wonder if the taxi driver knows Japanese when he asked are you Japanese. As observed by his mother, Daiya can also fit in since he can use his ‘good with people’ to his advantage. The scene on seeing a girl having the same hairstyle as Fuuko shows that Daiya also still have some feeling for Fuuko. About the manga scene, I do wonder if the author actually contemplated about doing that and she could be also stumped how to end this ^^; Hence the seemingly dragging chapters.

As everyone is still busy cleaning, Daiya throw away the garbage he is holding as he still looks as if he is daydreaming/not himself. At the canal, Ichi calls out to Daiya to help him carry up the garbage he has collected. As Daiya holds the basket, he then drops a part of it on Ichi. Ichi is angry and is about to shout back at Daiya but he stopped when he saw Daiya’s blank stare. Daiya apologizes as Ichi let the matter slide and proceeds to pick up what has fallen down. The children then asks where did Fuuko go as she went back to them. She apologizes and says that she went to the comfort room. A woman then asks why is her eyes reddish. Fuuko fakes a smile as she says that it is because something went into her eyes. She thought that if she doesn’t smile, tears will come out. The two women then started gossiping about seeing her with either Daiya and Ichi then asks which one does she prefer. Fuuko didn’t answer as the two women still talked on which of the two is better as one likes Daiya while the other is Ichi. Then, Fuuko is again about to cry as she says, I’m..Daiya...She thought, “Do not go” even if she said these three words, will it change anything. How is she going to say it in the first place.

Isocchi is in Akiou’s room as he happily smells Akiou’s scent, while sitting down on a table, waiting for Akiou. He is about to touch Akiou’s bed when he is surprised as Akiou calls out from downstairs to ask if two cubes of sugar is okay. Isocchi says it is as he bumps his on the table. Isocchi is really embarrassed saying about his hand but he is a guy. Then, he notices some paper insert in the book. He looks at it and reads out ‘future occupation’. Akiou came in with a two cups of tea on a tray, saying the tea is ready. Isocchi then asks Akiou if she is going to a distant place as Akiou looks flustered. Outside, at night, Fuuko and Ichi are talking. Ichi asks Fuuko if she wants him to be the one to leave. Fuuko tries to leave saying that if that is what they are going to talk about, she is leaving. Ichi shouts for her to listen and that he wants to be with her. Fuuko shouts that it is none of her business, telling her these things. Ichi then asks her what does she want him to do. Fuuko asks will I decide. Ichi calls her stupid for the future can’t be decided by a girl. Fuuko gets angry and shouts so don’t ask me. Ichi shouts, say it. Fuuko is shocked. Ichi then calms down and says it isn’t like a girl can dictate one’s future but now, whatever she says is important to them. Fuuko says, this is..then she reacts with tears, shouting that this is very serious, she is just an ordinary girl, she cannot be held responsible for what happened. Ichi thought really, you don’t have to react that way. Flustered, Fuuko says if it isn’t Daiya, Ichi will definitely go..she still won’t be happy for if her friend is faraway, she won’t be happy. Ichi looks surprised as Fuuko runs away, thinking, ‘do not go’ I can’t say it.

While taking a bath, Fuuko says that she cannot be held responsible as she imagines Ichi’s younger sister, Koto and grandparents have to live a hard/poor life because of her decision. Koto is telling her grandma to share with grandpa the little food they have for she isn’t hungry. Grandma is worried about grandpa who can’t go to the hospital for the other family is now running away. Koto then rants that it is all that girl’s fault [Fuuko] for saying those things to them [boys] that the company is now bankrupt. Grandma then cries informs Koto that their food will only last till next month. Koto is shock asking if that is true. End imagination. Fuuko cries and says it is really serious [the decision] that she cannot say anything about it, do anything about it but just watch what will happen until the time to go has arrive. The two boys then prepares to leave to China as their summer vacation as they got their passport and ticket ready. Downstairs, they looked at Fuuko’s house door and left. Fuuko remembers Ichi saying about going there first to check it out then decide who is going. The airplane left as Fuuko is playing with the kids, looking up the sky, thinking that when those two comes back, then the future is known.

The way Fuuko is thinking about the company going bankrupt is a bit exaggerated, I think. Does she actually think the company will go bankrupt if Ichi goes instead of Daiya? ^^;; For doesn’t she seems to want that if she wants Daiya to stay. I guess she rationalized that she will play safe for if indeed, something happened like the plane crashing, etc, she would indeed get the blame. People would want a scapegoat and say, it is because Fuuko told this guy to stay. And it seems that Fuuko currently treats Ichi as a friend. I’m thinking that Ichi wants Fuuko to admit that she wants Daiya to stay so that he would more or less know what to do. He must have been bothered by Daiya’s not-himself during the clean-up. Another couple is having problems as Isocchi discovers that paper. I guess there will be misunderstanding for Isocchi will think Akiou wants to go when actually, it is her mother,iirc, who wanted her to.

Fuuko is stunned to learn that either Daiya or Ichi will be going to China. Her mother asked if she is alright. Daiya’s mother apologize as she says that since their company in China has two factories and currently, will add another one. Their fathers wanted them to take in charge so sooner or later, the company will be passed on to either Daiya or Ichi/both of them so it is decided that the two of them would go to China earlier. Fuuko is still stunned over the news as Daiya’s mother tells the flustered Fuuko that who will go is up to the two and for Fuuko to just watch/not meddle in it. Fuuko says, yes as her mother looked worried for her. While going upstairs, Ichi’s mother tells Daiya’s mother what did she meant about just watch for isn’t this a really important turning point for the kids. Daiya’s mother says it is for they are all just 16 years old. Inside the house, Fuuko’s mother tries to cheer up Fuuko by saying that China is just near and it isn’t like Daiya has already decided to go. Fuuko finally told her mother that she and Daiya has broken up. She then tells her mom that the important thing now is for her to study as she hurries back to her room, thinking that is right for no matter who goes, it is none of her business.

At school, while putting their shoes inside the locker, Ichi asked if Fuuko learned about the going to China thing. Fuuko looks flustered as she shouts, isn’t that great, going abroad to be with people of not the same world. Ichi then says that they will be going to China for a while and after that, decide who will go. Fuuko then turns around to face Ichi and shouts, Ah, is that so. Surprising Ichi as Fuuko quickly runs away, telling herself that it isn’t her business. Then, their teacher says that it is time for school vacation/trip [after summer break, I think] and everyone to get papers for their homeworks. As everyone is getting papers, Fuuko noticed that Daiya is standing beside her as they reach for the same paper. Flustered, Fuuko says that she got double papers and quickly lets of the paper. She is still thinking about what is going to and why is Daiya standing beside her. Fuuko then tells Mako that she forgot a paper so she will line up again. Fuuko kept on thinking to not think about it for it has nothing to do with her. Elsewhere, Kagechika is asking Ichi where is he going to college as Ichi tells her it is none of her business and even teases her that he will go to an all-boys university. Frustrated, Kagechika asks if she is really troublesome to him. Ichi finally says that why don’t she just test around for college is an important decision.

On the day of the community cleaning, Fuuko decided to force herself to smile. Fuuko is assigned to play with the kids as the adults are working. The boys are assigned to help in getting the garbage. Fuuko turns around to see the two and she greets them a good morning. They were surprised as Fuuko quickly goes to the children asking them what is she acting as. The kids says cockroach. Ichi then asks that girl, who would protect her. Daiya answers who knows. Later on, Fuuko has just finished weeding as an adult told her to rest. Fuuko then orders the kids to shift places momentarily. Then, she hears the older women blushing about being young is great, I like that one ^^; Fuuko turns around to see Daiya half-naked, carrying a basket of garbage/weeds. Fuuko remembers how she laid down on his lap that she quickly turns away. Daiya then asks her to put the weeds she pulled on the basket. Fuuko says that there is dirt on his face as she remembers sneezing/wiping her nose on Daiya’s shirt before. Daiya wipes near his mouth as he asks really, where. Daiya is surprised to see Fuuko crying. Fuuko thought she has no business..that is a lie, for she has too many memories with him as she remembers all the times they had spent together. Fuuko then rubs his nose saying that the dirt is here then she quickly runs away shouting, stupid. The kids are calling for her as Daiya is surprised. Elsewhere, Fuuko holds a shrub, crying as she thought, don’t go..don’t go to that distant place.

Fuuko haven’t gotten over the heartbreak yet as she is still crying and avoiding Daiya as much as possible. I’m estimating that it is around 2-3 months since the break up. I don’t think Daiya is too happy either as to what Fuuko has become. I’m also thinking if Fuuko did say to Daiya don’t go, would he stay since he seems to be determined to break up with her and haven’t even shown any signs of wanting her back even though he still cares for her.
