Hehehe...just realized that I have used up my internet account on scanlations. ^^; I have to use a prepaid card to tie me in for the rest of the month. What have I been downloading? Well, I finished downloading all of the chapters of Alichino. The drawings are really beautiful. Just when you are into it, it is the end. The volumes come out in between years so I don’t know when the next volume will be out. I like Ryouko who was the main focus in the last few parts also his archenemy, Matsulika whom I think was cool. Their clothes are really nice, too. The type I might wear in a cosplay if I have the money for them. Hehehe
Nami: Unfortunately for you, you cannot carry gothic wear.
Hehehe, that’s another reason. I also finished the prologue of the Korean manga, Model. It was interesting. The art is nice. It is about an artist and a vampire who made a deal with each other. I thought it is about modeling. The artist reaction is a bit cute especially when the vampire drank her blood, she wanted to draw him in exchange for her blood. Hehehe, she would even argue with him. I wonder if this is a love story.
I was reading the newspaper the other day. I now knew the course I should have taken before, multimedia arts. Unfortunately for me, it was not created before and I thought that it was computer science. ^^; Anyway, I’m planning to study this summer at Intellect, a school under SM and IBM. They opened a branch near my place. There will be a seminar on April about the courses they are offering so I might go there. Classes will start late April to June every afternoon. I would have to record some anime that I might be missing. Well, if there are still new ones at that time.
Monday, March 17, 2003 @ 09:18 p.m.
Well, last Sunday was cousin’s wedding. In the morning, we went to a new parlor to try it out. Only sis’s make-up turned out well. Mine looked nice when I was still in the salon though. The one who made me was okay as in a good conversationalist. Well, he was the one who was talking most of the time. The subject he mentioned was that about my aura being quite innocent and well, ‘virgin’ ^^; I was a bit surprised but then, maybe because I did say I don’t have a boyfriend. Then, he said that he used to have that aura until last year. I was thinking, ‘Ah, with a boy or a girl?’ ^^;;
Robin: A truly naïve girl
Anyway, we were right on time at the wedding. The only thing noticeable there was that one of the guests was an ex-President. She was wearing orange though instead of her usual yellow. It was my aunt who was wearing yellow. I was supposed to make some posing along the nice candles but the camera of photographer cousin was in error. It turned out that he didn’t replace one of the batteries in the camera. He is still new in using the digital camera so this is a lesson for him and maybe, it wasn’t willed for us or rather me to get a picture from that day.
Zoro: Yup, we already have many of your drawings to scare the rats away.
Meanie. After the ceremony, we went to this wedding expo where sis got some more brochures to add to her other brochures from previous expos. I did notice that most of the booths there are on photography. Then, we went to the cocktail party. We went there late since we thought there weren’t many people there. It turned out that the party was outside. It was somewhat like the roof or veranda. It managed to coax them to go there to see what it was like. There are just some cheesecakes and fruits in a buffet table. The drinks are just bottled water and juices. I don’t know if I’ll be disappointed or not since I thought there will be alcoholic drinks there but then, I don’t drink. ^^;; And no, there are no bshos there.
The wedding is well, boring. They have a screen but it only showed photographs from the ceremony. We were sat at the back. I have a bit of
a problem about that. There is something wrong with the picture of the ‘immediate family of the bride and at the back of the reception room.’ So, we cannot actually see the people at the stage or the ceremonial cutting of the cake, etc. It was like just eating out. There is no bouquet toss since my cousin [the bride] doesn’t like that and there is no presidential table – rectangle at front – since she doesn’t like being looked at. ^^;;
So, we went home with a small box of candies. It was their souvenir, which is actually one of the products of the groom’s family. It was made in China. At least something than nothing, I guess, since my cousin planned to have no souvenirs. While trying to remove the make-up, I watched tv. There was this supposedly true story in Taiwan. It was made into a drama. The husband thought that his wife was having an affair with his father who had some memory illness which I presumed to be Alzheimer’s disease. His wife was just trying to take care of the father and I was thinking, the guy must be a real jerk. The guy then found himself a new wife and divorced his wife. She was blackmailed with pictures with the father for the father thought she was her mother whom he loved before. In the end, the guy and new wife were after his father’s money but his father already gave them to his ex-wife and son as their inheritance. The ex-wife couldn’t take her ex-husband’s maltreatment anymore that she took her son and the father of her ex-husband some place safe. The guy told the police that she kidnapped his family. In the end, there was an interview with the woman with her face pixel out. She hoped that some day they will have justice if ever they will be caught for she is still on the run.
Why I doubt if this was a true story was why she ran with them instead of asking for help from the police? The blackmail photos would be of no use if doctors could prove that the father was really sick. But then, the father said that sometimes he is in the right mind so that is why he changed the will and knew that his son was maltreating him. I wondered if he was faking it or in such sickness, temporary sanity does happen.
Lately, I’m reading East Coast from ,JanimeS I was just actually curious since it seemed to be a yaoi Korean manga and it turned out that ‘the boy’ was actually a girl. ^^;; It is a good read about problem teens. One was a half-breed in a Korean family who fell for a Korean girl who was longing for her home, Korea since they are now in New York. The guy’s friend was having money problems and wanted to study. The art does need a bit of getting used to. Also, I did found a site which scanlated all of Alichino. The art is really pretty and the plot is a bit slow but intriguing.

Well, the baby fishes are doing okay so far. I think they are guppies since they sway sideways. I’m assuming it is so that their tails would move really nice. I’m currently researching on hole-in-head disease which I noticed on one of the rams. Aside from cleaning frequently, I think I shouldn’t overfeed. I don’t know if I should put in med already or not. From some sites, just some vitamins and daily cleaning by removing 20% of water. Well, I think I should do that in the meantime since I’m reluctant to use meds for I tend to kill them.
Chopper: Maybe you should be a doctor...
The closest to that was go to a fish diseases seminar or something like that. There used to be one when fish shops are a craze. I didn’t go because I have school, I think. Well, hopefully, I would be able to save that fish and well, the others won’t get infected.
Last night, I got burned by hot oil while trying to adjust the fire. So I have red marks on my two fingers. In the end, I might end up just preparing the food and let the maid cook them. I tried cooking a fried egg a few weeks ago and it turned into somewhat scrambled. What kind of cook am I when I cannot even fried an egg – sunny side up? ^^;;
Sanji: A pathetic cook!
Yup so I just tried to convince myself that I’m the head chef, ordering around and let the others do the ‘hard work. Hehehe Today, I was asked to cook some chicken wings. Since I have only 1 hour before lunch, I just surfed the net for a recipe which is the simplest and I even made use of the extra seasoned flour last night in coating the chicken. It actually tasted better than last night’s. It might be a fusion since the recipe is Chinese but the flour was a bit Western. Anyway, I’m just happy it turned out well.
Sanji: A good cook cannot depend on luck, you know.
Ya, but sometimes, the food I cooked which didn’t require much planning are the more successful ones. ^^;;
Lastly, I just saw the new OP colored spread out in Jump’s site. It was really nice. They are having a picnic beneath sakura trees. I would like to download it later on when someone had scanned it. ^-^
Thursday, March 13, 2003 @ 09:29 p.m.
The other day, my sis told me why they were late. They are in two cars. One was her bf’s family while the other was the uncle and his wife. They were to meet in the front of a restaurant. It was passed the scheduled time and they tend to be on time so her bf called up the uncle. It turned out that they are already there. They had changed cars so they didn’t recognized each other’s cars. ^^;; So, next time when meeting with people, know what cars they will be bringing.
Tatsumi: You won’t have a problem with that since you don’t have a car.
Yup. Love Rev finished yesterday. I almost wasn’t able to watch though. That night wasn’t able to watch since I have to do something for Asher also, photographer with tactless aunt stayed in so I wasn’t able to watch tv on that room since they are watching something else. At the back of my mind, I’m sure there are reruns. The next morning, there was no global since they are under maintenance. I was able to watch the last rerun for the afternoon. The ending was okay though seemed a bit rushed. All the cast except two have found their loved ones.
Robin: Unfortunately for you, included with the ones who found their loved ones is your crush there.
Ya, anyway, they did played all the theme songs in whole. I sang along with them since this will be the last time I’ll hear them for a while. My favorite is ‘When Will I Hold You’ It has a nice melody but I cannot find the mp3 for it.
I’ve finished watching it and have to hurry dress up since sis would go to this designer who was recommended by her bf’s cousin. We managed to find it through pure luck since there was no street sign. The desinger sketched a design but sis’ bf thought it was too ordinary. . The designer would sketch more designs to show us next Tuesday. We just picked the colors we like for the engagement.
Nami: And, you just picked up a color that caught your eye. Tsk..tsk
^^; Ya and I was really unsure if it was okay. My finger automatically just pointed that color. According to the designer, it was dark salmon – pinkish red. I should chose a lighter color though since it will be in the morning but I don’t like lighter colors. ^^; Oh well, let’s just see how it will turn out.
Zoro: And it turned out that you got lost on the way out.
Ya, we should have just turned out around and go back to where we came from. ^^;; That night, I was able to watch CSI at sis’s bf’s house so we went home late. Mom wasn’t quite pleased though. Then, today, I cleaned the aquariums. There was one that I cleaned really thoroughly and then, I suddenly saw some babies. I thought it was from the rams since they are biting but one of the female guppies’ tummy became small so it must be hers. I had to get them out of there quickly since the guppies are eating them. I hope I can raise them though. I’m currently looking for a container to put them.
Chopper: A container...a glass cookie jar...those poor fishes
Well, I was thinking of it but mom gave me a larger container which is a Tupperware. ^^;; It would have to make do temporarily.
Tuesday, March 11, 2003 @ 09:08 p.m.
The ‘proposal’ or ‘asking of hand’ is over. It was quite short. Just about 45 minutes. They were a bit late and while we were getting comfortable at the living room, they suddenly came. We hurried like rats when the cat came into the bedrooms. Hehehe The maid was the one who opened and one by one, we came out. I have to serve tea and good thing that I didn’t trip or something as my wild imagination was thinking. The tea is piping hot. Who were they? Well, they are the guy’s family, two aunts and an uncle.
Tsuzuki: Tell them what they brought!!
I’m getting there. It is a tradition to bring something when going to someone’s house in a formal occasion. They bought a box of apples, a box of oranges, some boxes of chocolates and two boxes of cookies. They basically just talk a bit about when the wedding will be. There is still no exact date since the guy side like our side wasn’t quite thrilled to have a Tuesday wedding. There are a few awkward moments when each group whisper to each other regarding what to talk about. ^^; Me, well, I just keep on grinning like a fool.
Ah yes, the moment they enter, the thing that they notice was wow, lots of aquarium. Hehehe It was after they left when my father said that we forgot to open the chandelier. It is quite funny since we took the time to cleaned it! I got a glimpse at the maid’s room and it really looked like a storage room. All the unsightly stuff were put inside there. It was as if Vash went through there. So, in the end, after cleaning for a few days now, the event is actually finish already.
Robin: There will be more cleaning by engagement day.
Yup, it falls on a Sunday in May so everyone is happy about it. I just hope that my aquariums won’t get displaced at some temporary place since they claim that the living room is too small for the engagement.
Zoro: You wish...
Monday, March 10, 2003 @ 04:44 p.m.
I don’t know if there was divine intervention that the cake didn’t turn out fine or the fruit salad wasn’t made. When we arrived at the suppose to be birthday party for photographer cousin, it turned out that he wasn’t there. The celebrant was not in the party! Tactless aunt said that it turned out her son had other plans and went out to another party. I heard to version. One was it was a friend’s party and the other was that he was going to a photo shoot. Anyway, we just ate and chit-chat a bit. Major topics were the possible war in Iraq and weddings.
Today is cleaning day so far, the one thing I cleaned was the aquarium. ^^;; Tea sets are being cleaned and some Chinese sweets are being bought for tomorrow’s formal asking of the hand of sis by her bf’s family. By next Sunday, we would be at a cousin’s grand wedding. There is a cocktail gathering before the wedding. I told them that we should go there early. Call me naive but it will be my first time at a cocktail gathering. I’m still thinking what kind of drink I should have.
Zoro: Because you can only drink non-alcoholic ones.
Yup. Watch-selling cousin said that it is mostly a gathering of friends of the groom and bride to talk about stuff. I just thought maybe there are bshos there...with their girlfriends or wives ^^; but at least, I can drool over them.
Robin: Ya...dream on.
Hehehe...then, it turned out that there were none. ^^;;
Sunday, March 9, 2003 @ 03:44 p.m.
Lately, I feel tired. I wonder if I’m overworking myself again that I didn’t notice. Last Friday, I cleaned the aquariums. One aquarium was placed into another location since my mother wanted it that way. I don’t quite understand the logic but well, I don’t like to argue. We are still in the process of cleaning up. If we didn’t finish by Tuesday, we might as well keep the junk at the rooms since they won’t look into the rooms anyway.
Robin: Sounds like sweeping the dirt into the carpet
Ya. While cleaning, I was watching Love Rev’s rerun. The theme song, ‘Kiss of Life’ is beginning to haunt me. The other songs are really nice. I sometimes even wake up early to watch the early rerun. It has two reruns, in the morning and in the afternoon. Basically, I’m trying to imprint into my mind his image so I can dream of him. Hehehe I think it works unconsciously like I don’t really thought of dreaming an anime/manga but I did.
Yesterday, I tried to make a mocha cake but it didn’t rise and was too small. Jeez, lack of practice and well, I haven’t actually perfected it. I’m thinking of the reasons why it became like that: 1. cream of tartar is old already 2. oven too hot 3. wrong folding of egg white to batter and 4. didn’t remove the cake immediately off the pan.
Sanji: All of the above.
Hehehe...anyway, Tsuzuki saw it and ate one-fourth of it. ^^;; He said that I might as well just buy a cake from a bakeshop. Sanji said that I should practice really good and not expose to others the horror of my cooking/baking. I would just stick to making the fruit salad then, it is easier. Last night, I made an impromptu salad to use up the romaine lettuce which sis bought.
I just looked into the refrigerator and the cupboards for what ingredients I can put in it. Ask mom to make some thousand island dressing which is basically just mayo and ketchup. I didn’t imagine that the salad was their dinner. It was suppose to just a side dish. ^^; Romaine lettuce did tasted like iceberg lettuce but somewhat more leafy tasting.
Luffy: I’m full. Burp.
You ate everything!! I should be happy but then, the cake is where I put most effort in!
Tsuzuki: Don’t worry, I will eat it later on.
I just learned that it seemed my tactless aunt made the salad already for she told us not to bring it. ^^; Did she forgot that she asked us to make it? Oh well, at least, it wasn’t made yet. I might as well make it for our own consumption since some ingredients were deliberately bought just for the salad.
Tsuzuki + Luffy: Yummy more food! Practice more so we can eat more!
Thursday, March 6, 2003 @ 08:37 p.m.
Today, I helped in the office again. On my way there, I noticed that there are many roosters at the sidewalks. They reminded me of my phobia with roosters since they might peck me. ^^; Also, that it seemed life is hard again since people are resorting to cockfights - gambling - to get some money. I think that this is way before during martial law. Would that mean that our country is back to that state.
There is some bombing in the Southern part of the country again. The dollar exchange is higher now. Too bad that I didn't buy PS2 or a digicam before since now, it is more expensive.
Nami: Because you are slow...no sense of timing. Unlike me, just get someone to pay for them.
I tried but Asher is busy earning to buy our car. Hehehe But then, I never had a good sense of business if I did, I would have studied commerce and be happy to work at the office. I did try in that other job but in the end, I'm just find no satisfaction from accounting and stuff. I also do not have good interpersonal skills. I recently read from the owner of Jollibee [ an article in Phil Star wherein Jollibee was interviewed ] he said, 'If you are not happy with what you are working hard for, then it's not worth it.' ^-^
It must be renovation time here in our building. One by one, the unit owners are repainting and renovating including us. Well, we have a reason since sis is going to be married soon. Speaking of marriage, there is still no date but more or less, it will be November 18. There was a bit of a big deal about it since it will fall on a Tuesday. According to feng shui guy, it is the best day for everyone which will not cause bad luck. Sis's bf's dad is still not satisfied and will ask one more time since wedding on a Tuesday is really rare. Anyway, all Sundays are fully booked earlier so the ones that are left are the ones wherein people don't usually go there to wed.
I have heard of a wedding horror story. A famous designer must be busy that on the wedding day, the bride and entourage's gowns are not yet finished. They have to find some ready made ones. I heard that they sued the designer. I think I should give whiner an invitation since she did invited me to her brother's wedding. I wonder if Asher will go. I'm more on thinking if she will have night classes by then or playing with Tats.
I'm currently learning how to cg a CCS pic from a link which Unicorn gave me. It is fun and somewhat addictive. Unfortunately, my wrist get a bit of a sore from moving the mouse and if I stare too much, I get watery eyes. I try not to over-do it since I do not want to ruin my eyes and wrist.
Our place is now messy since the stuff from the storage room was here. We have to clean up before the day when sis's bf and family will be coming here as formality of asking sis' hand. Among the stuff is a Chinese sword. It is a practice sword for kung fu people. My father bought it while he was in Taiwan before. If only it was a katana. Hehehe I tried to unsheathe it fast but it is hard. I wonder how the swordmen do it quickly.
Zoro: Secret...
It is also quite heavy. ^^; We are going to have it shine since the metal looked a bit dull. I can just pretend to be Enishi. Hehehe Hey, Zoro, how about giving me one of your swords.
Zoro: I don't sell them so why should I give them to you! *holds his katana tightly*
Nami: Hehehe...they are if the price is right. $_$
^-^;; If I had that, I would have bought my own.
Tuesday, March 4, 2003 @ 03:49 p.m.
It is hot lately and I don't usually like hot weather. Last Sunday, I watched The Eye - a Chinese movie. Basically, I watched it out of curiosity because it is on its 4th week here already. I watched it with my mother at SM Manila. We were 5 minutes late. The movie is okay. Even if the make-up isn't horribly scary, the way it was presented is enough to scare me. Sigh, I usually tend to watch horror movies for the story not the horror. ^^; It is a bit like Six Sense for it is basically a girl who could see ghosts after she had a cornea transplant. As Asher had mentioned before, it is somewhat like the Demon's Trill in YnM. The girl was even a violinist. Most of the time, I'm hiding behind my handkerchief as protection against any scary stuff so that I will not be able to watch it that clearly.
Zoro: Wimp...
^^; Ya...I have to kept repeating to myself that it is just like Bleach's Ichigo who just sees the ghosts. They won't hurt anyone, etc. I didn't watch this in dvd because according to a review, it is better watched in the movies so I did as told. I was a bit jumpy after a few nights since watching it since there are some quite scary scenes.
I did notice that most people there are young people - friends or lovers. There are still a bit of people watching. It must be recommended by their peers or from the craze for horror films after the Ring [Jap ver.] was shown here. After watching the movies, we walked around. I went to the Chinese bookstore, trying to find the Love Revolution soundtrack. None but that is expected since it is quite old. It is sad that the manga that they have aren't quite popular or rather, I haven't heard of them even though they are cheaper than the ones sold in manga/anime specialty stores.
I also went to Tokyo Kids to browse over their merchandise. They have two One Piece items there. One is the group models in sports attire and the other is the group in keychains. I'm not that crazy yet to buy them. There are a lot of Beyblade tops. I predict it won't be long when Crush Gear will be soon sold here, too, if someone picked up the anime. I had confused it with another car toy which was ad in a Chinese newspaper.
Yesterday, I cleaned the aquarium and almost flooded the living room, again. ^^; I should have put the pail on a stool so that the hose will not go out. Anyway, I plan to clean more frequently but less water changed in two aquariums to keep the algae to a minimum. In the afternoon, I helped in the store since a storage room is going to be given up because the rent is too high for us to keep it. Moving out of the stuff is finally finished today.
My tactless aunt asked me to bake a cake for cousin's wedding this Sunday. I'm still thinking what to bake which is good since it has been a long time since I practice baking cakes. I'm not quite satisfied by the way they look and tasted. I would need to browse over the ones that I have already done.
Ah yes, I had watched a Chinese game program. It featured the Seventh Sign. I saw a bsho there who looked a bit like Squall but bluish hair and looking like a knight then got killed for some ritual. ^^;; It was a PC RPG game. The cg was nice a bit like FF8 but not quite. It was also in Chinese. I tried to search for the game in the net but what I found there was an English game about Apocalypse and stuff. Anyway, I did saw the new Star Ocean for PS2. Nice...they are in 3d already but looking more cartoon.
Robin: Drool over it while you can...you still don't have a PS2.
Hehehe...ya. ^-^ But hopefully, someday I will unless they release a newer console. ^^;;
Robin: And you will be waiting again for it to be cheaper and the cycle keeps on repeating.
^^;;;
Thursday, February 27, 2003 @ 08:35 p.m.
Last Tue, I had a little good deed for the day. My thesismate was looking for a job after she returned a few months ago from HK. She said she wanted to be in the import-export business and it is okay if it is in Binondo. I just searched a few ads in my dad’s Chinese newspaper. I joked that if she got it and was in that job – more or less permanent – I want a month’s salary for searching fee. Hehehe
Yesterday was my mom’s birthday. We had an impromptu birthday party. Why? Well, it was suppose to be just a small gathering with hyper aunt and tactless aunt + her family, but the others thought that there is a huge party and asked why they were not invited. ^^; So, it gotten a bit larger than it was supposed to be. I also had to do a little piano playing. Basically, I just played the only 3 piano pieces that I still know. ^^; The ice cream cake I made which was a bit messy since I usually need a whole day to get it done, was all eaten up. Good.
Tsuzuki + Luffy: Yummy.
Also, I cleaned the aquariums yesterday. It took much longer than before because I watch tv while cleaning. I’m watching the rerun of Gender Wars which I wasn’t able to watch in the weekend and a jap drama ending. The girl is very strange. She likes him then not then yes. She realizes that she likes him but he left already. Anyway, in the end, they became the couple.
I am watching Love Revolution. The flash screen is a couple of kissing gourami. [I think they are kissing gourami because it is the only fishes that I know which likes to kiss. ^^; Well, technically, they are not kissing but fighting.] I only watched at the 2nd episode just to see the opening and then, I saw some nice shots and two bshos. So, I had to watch. There is not subtitle so I had a harder time knowing what they are talking about. Sometimes I ask my mom [ I usually get her to watch a drama so that she can translate] and she says, nothing much. ^^; Anyway, got to learned that the two bshos are Fujiki Naohito and Oshio Manabu. Also, the opening song was by Ken Hirai. It took me time to place who it was. There was also another English song which was nice but no title, so I don’t know what it was. The lyrics is about her being on a tree always seeing others with their lovers and then finally, it’s my turn.
Robin: You don’t seem to be the desperate one...
Ya..before but that was way, way before – long story. Anyway, it has been a long time since I have watched a really romantic drama with bshos hehehe..this is a great find. ^-^ I am a bit assured that this will have a good ending...hopefully. ^-^ It is sometimes hard to guess especially if it is a Korean drama. Most of what I had watched didn’t ended quite nicely even though it is promising. Anyway, at least it wasn’t too dragging like Filipino dramas.
Just learned from Asher that AXN will be showing Rave...sigh, oh well, can’t have everything. Just saw a pic of Ayano of Rahxephon for the movie. Nice...he suddenly became bsho. Hahaha Actually, he looked more cute than bsho. ^-^ If I get the missing cd and well, by then, Asher would have no school already, going to watch it again. ^-^
Monday, February 24, 2003 @ 04:55 p.m.
Last Saturday’s party was okay --not that boring. We weren’t on time but then, according to my mom, we were the first one. I was with my sis to get the cake at a store nearby. It is sometimes hard to give time for parties. You tell them it is at 7pm, they arrive later that time so sometimes, there is a ‘fake’ time and those who are always early birds are told the ‘real’ time. It can be confusing especially if the two talked and wondered which is the true time to be there.
Food was a bit different. Cold cuts mixed with fresh fruits. It tasted okay while the others are the same. I heard that the drinks cost more than the food. As the theory goes, lots of msg so that people would drink lots of liquid then make the prices of those drinks very expensive. I wonder if storage fee [electricity for the ref] is included in the price.
Yesterday, I went out with Asher to watch ‘Hero’. It was okay but the eye candies make it worthwhile to watch it in the theater. Lots of scenes which scream to be drawn. I tend to like the red scenes compared to the rest especially the fight scene with Flying Snow and Moon. My only rant was that it seemed to be a bit short as if..that’s it.
Sigh, my cable has been switching around with the channels again. Some channels disappeared while others appeared or re-appeared. I guess that is why it is a bit cheaper than other cables and well, compensation is that they have some channels that the others don’t have. I hope I’m not missing much that AXN suddenly disappeared. Just thought of one though, CSI. ^^;;
Last night, I watched the Taiwanese games by artists. It is quite fun. This time, they are in an amusement park. Some of the challenges are peeling a cucumber while riding a roller coaster, shaving off cream from water filled balloons on a partner’s neck so they looked like huge breasts, and holding a plate of custard/leche plan while riding on a swinging ride that is going circles sideways at the same time.
Speaking of games, I am at the power-up part of WA2. I don’t like this part really but it is necessary or else, I won’t be able to kill the major boss. There are still some other games like FF4 and Vagrant Story which weren’t finished because I got bored powering them up. Actually, I’m not sure regarding Vagrant Story since the hp [life] is given after each win against a major boss in slot machine type not based on the exp from monsters. The last boss just use his special attack and dead. ^^; I guess I would need to re-read again if there is a way or well, I won’t ever know the ending.
Zoro: You are just lazy. I have to train hard to become the world’s greatest swordsman so it is necessary.
Ah, lots of time is needed just to power up. It is not basically being lazy but more of a question of lots of free time. There was a time though when I defeated a major boss. I was really glad because I thought it is going nowhere. I felt like an anime character who finally defeated an enemy. Hahaha..then began shouting, Yes..finally, it is dead. *flicks weapon to remove blood then makes a pose* Hahaha...
Robin: *goes to the phone and starts dialing* Time to call the mental hospital...
Friday, February 21, 2003 @ 06:42 p.m.
The karaoke session for Sunday has been postponed. Discus cousin told her mom that it is a waste of money because she don't know how to sing. She said that she can sing, I have two hands. ^^; Anyway, we were suppose to do it at tactless [ex-whiner, I changed the name ^^] aunt but they haven't set up their karaoke yet. They have it because entrepreneur cousin bought it for her suitor and I thought it was for her mother. ^^;
I think when people have a lover or married partner, they can belong to either two category. One is who loved his/her parents much that he/she would do everything for them even if it is an inconvenience for the partner and this family. The other one is the other way around. I guess it is really hard to please everybody. Mm, having that special someone can be quite stressful. Hehehe
I watched a Charge and Aska special a while ago. Their 'best of' cd was the first Japanese music cd I bought. I knew about them from the Japanese tv dramas that were shown in a Chinese channel before. Those were the good times - very nice love stories and bshos, of course. ^-^ Back to topic, the group had very nice songs and they tend to go their separate ways and back again. I wonder if L'arc is doing that, too. I'm a bit skeptic though since when they become a group again, I might not like their songs anymore. It happened to most US sitcoms and sometimes, manga like YnM and X. If there is a long break, I move on and I don't quite care about it anymore except if it became really interesting to me again.
Zoro: Good thing that my creator kept on writing with no long breaks.
Ya. The latest on it was about one of my fave chars, Nico Robin, cool -as-a-cucumber-but-do-not-mess-with-me-or-you-will-be-very-sorry. Nice. The raves on that summary make me wanted to see it. I wonder if in the end, Luffy would get his wish on having a musician on board. Hehehe
I had finally finished the Dilbert books. It is entertaining. I actually bought it for the different view of things and sense of humor to amuse me. ^^; The last topic was about affirmations technique. I would like to use that to whiner. It is just basically writing one's goal [I, name, will/do be something] on a paper 15 times a day and later on, you will be able to do that goal. I doubt though if she wanted to do it.
Robin: You were just turning down your own ideas. Be positive.
Yeah. At least it is something new to suggest to her. ^-^ I think the technique is more on positive thinking. Maybe I could use some of that. Hehehe
