Another doll is out of the Alice game in Rozen Maiden Traumend [ep. 10]. This time it is Hina Ichigo who had lost her rosa mystica to Shinku in the first series. Since Sugintou already got Souseiseki’s rosa mystica, it had officially started the Alice game. The first part is on grieving over Souseiseki and the latter part is on Hina saying goodbye to Tomoe. The last scene had Shinku and the other two dolls meeting Jun in the doll store. The store assistant was revealed to be the rabbit and well, Enju is father but then, he is smirking at them. The next episode would be the battle. Two more episodes left. It seemed that the manga isn’t finished yet so I wonder if they would end this or would make a new series for it.
Browsing through V.B. Rose, it is a nice cute series. I really like the art and the outfits. It turned out that she was employed because of her skills in making bags and I think she is going to make the wedding accessories to go with the wedding dresses that the two guys are making. I can’t distinguish older people here for they looked as if they are all in the same age. I’m still missing some chapters so I would read them as a whole when I get them.
Ouran High School Host Club seemed to be just a manga of the everyday life of the characters in the club. I got that impression from browsing through latter volumes. ^^; I guess I should get the earlier ones to know the characters. ^^; The art needs getting a bit used to. I’m checking out some volumes of Nana. Much like Ouran, it is pretty much, well, about the lives of the two Nanas and their friends and well, the guys in their lives. Lots of casual sex here though. So far, I don’t have a peculiar character that I like maybe except for the younger one with an earring on his mouth, just because he is cute. The other guys are handsome and tend to remind me of Joji in Paradise Kiss even if the hair changed. I’m still browsing around...not in the mood to dicepher the Chinese.

In Fullmetal Alchemist [c.55], it seemed that the chapter started and ended, they are back to their first situation. ^^; The new Greed, Greedling, told them that he isn’t the same one as before and Edward still couldn’t believe what Ling has done. They were interrupted when Scar and Mei came. Mei got the shock of her life when her illusions about Ed were all just, well, illusions. It seemed that Mei and Scar use a different kind of alchemy since they are able to use it even if there is a seal.
They fought and Ed took this chance to tell Scar about the real cause of the rebellion that caused his race to be wiped out. Scar tried to kill Father but it was a failure. In the end, Al helped Scar and Mei escaped. I think Xiao Mei was with her already. While fighting with Greedling, Ed thought that Ling is still within. Then, they are back to square one, the Elric brothers are still captured. ^^; Father ordered for them to be brought to Wrath/Bradley. So, they got all three human sacrifices, the other one is Roy.
Fate-Stay Night [ep. 2] was okay and I found myself checking the time since I wanted it to last longer. Shirou accidentally saw the fight between Archer and Lancer. Rin saved his life and in the end, he managed to unconsciously? summons Saber. I still can’t shake the thought of this anime reminding me of Tsukihime mainly because things tend to happen to the main characters at night aside from the setting is again at school. ^^;
Just learned that Ouran High School Host Club will be made into a anime. This is one of those shoujo that I’m planning to check out since it seemed to be quite popular but never managed to. ^^; I remember seeing it in one of those Chinese scan sites so I’ll try to find it again. Right now, I’m checking out V.B. Rose. It is about a girl whose sister is going to get married and will have her dress done at V.B.R. The owners of the store are two guys – typical one light haired and one dark haired. Because of an accident, the dark haired boy got injured so the girl offered to help them finish up the dress. And by vol 2, she has become a permanent worker. The rest would probably more about their lives together and she liking the light haired boy. I checked this out solely because I like the art. ^^;

After browsing through the Peace Maker Kurogane manga, it turned out that what I thought to be fillers in the anime are not fillers. The gun-weilding guy who kept on yapping about Peacemaker actually exists in the manga. The omnyouji and gay-ish prince was a filler but then, it is actually a hint of what Suzu would become. I feel sorry for that guy. But then, I guess his fetish for that is hinted by how he described his sensei. ^^; Well, after Yamanami’s death, things aren’t going well for the shinsengumi with traitors and imposters trying to destroy them. By the end of volume 5, the author decided to take some time off and I read she is going to start a different series. I’m thinking maybe she got too attached to her characters that killing them off doesn’t seem appealing to her. Much like, I somewhat dread reading how the characters died one by one. ^^; Oh well, who knows when the next volume would be out.
In Vampire Knight [chp. 13], Zero was apparently bothered by what Kaname said about him betraying Yuuki. Yuuki came out in uniform and I’m guessing she just finished taking a bath. Zero was murmuring about Kaname that Yuuki remembered what she wanted to tell Zero. Yuuki told him that she isn’t going to give her blood to Kaname or anyone else. While talking, she noticed that Zero isn’t looking at her so she tries to look at him and drive her point. Suddenly, Zero pushed her on the wall that startled Yuuki. Yuuki, naively asked if he wants it now. ^^;
Zero didn’t answer as he moves toward her while she closes her eyes. Zero then told her that she is stupid then lets her go as he tells her to go out for he is going to take a bath – he’s already taking off his clothes. Yuuki got angry that she tossed her old clothes at him as she shouted that he’s the one who’s stupid for she is serious. Zero then noticed her bra is with the clothes she tossed that Yuuki quickly grabbed it back. Lol. Before leaving, Yuuki told him to never do that again or she will be real angry. Then, the president goes barging into the bathroom. ^^; The president then showed him a paper and a picture of someone. I’m not quite sure but I’m guessing that it specifies that Zero to haunt for a certain vampire since it mentioned about testing Zero’s ability and that he couldn’t refuse it.
The next day, Yuuki decided to stalk Zero who is going out of the school after classes. She wondered if he decided to run away because of the things she said last night. As she follows him, she thought that she said those things just for their [Zero, Kaname and her] sake. In some abandoned tower, Zero found his target who is holding a girl. He pointed the gun at him and asked if he was the one who killed the girl’s family. The vampire answered him so what and taunts Zero about this being his first job since he is being too nice. The vampire then hits the wall and escapes. All alone, Zero laughs at himself and wondered why he reacted that way but decided to finish this job.
Meanwhile, Shiki and this girl,Rima, [Thanks to Hedgefrog for the name] were dropped off at the same place. It seemed that they were also asked to solve this vampire problem. Rima is complaining why they have to do this on daylight. I think Shiki told her that it is easier to haunt level E at this time. Then, they met Yuuki who wonderered why they were there. The vampire then saw them and asked if they were comrades. Yuuki immediately realized it is a vampire so she pulled out her staff. Shiki pulled her aside and used his blood to slash at the vampire. Cool. ^_^
The vampire escaped as Shiki complained that it was no fun. Yuuki is now worried about Zero. Then, she felt that someone has grabbed her leg. It was the vampire and he tried to pull her down. He tells her that she would be her second victim and that he would treat her nice. Zero then shots at the vampire’s hand to let Yuuki free. He then jumps down and takes the vampire with him. He pinned the vampire down while holding the gun on the vampire’s head. Zero told him that this is the end. Yuuki jumps down and asked Zero why. I think Zero told her that from now on, he would be assuming his vampire hunter duties. The vampire then said something about being caught and that if he didn’t kill people, how would things end. Zero’s face somewhat softened and then he pulled the trigger.
Zero looked a bit sad but was interrupted by Rima who asked Zero what to do with the girl since she is still alive. Zero looked up and saw that Shiki is already carrying the girl. Yuuki then told Zero that it is alright for the girl is safe and that she is saved, thanks to him. Zero suddenly remembered Kaname’s words about not betraying Yuuki that he looked shocked. On a tree, there is a crow looking at what has happened. A girl who looked like a Lolita was using it to see things and she gleefully exclaimed that she has found Zero-chan. She was very happy for the look on his eyes is great for she found an interesting guy and had found a delicious looking girl – Yuuki. She told her companion that she has decided to go to night class.
What an interesting cliffhanger. I guess the guy with that girl is the one whom was suspected could be Zero’s brother since he is wearing a mask. I still don’t quite get this betraying thing that Kaname mentioned for why would Zero all of a sudden just remember that when Yuuki thanked him. Could it be that Zero shouldn’t try to kill himself or else Yuuki’s offering him blood would go to waste? Anyway, the next chapter would be interesting as to who this girl is and what are her plans for Zero though plans for Yuuki is already known..poor Yuuki..she becomes a target just because of her blood. PS, Alya pointed out that VK scans are available at an Italian site, Shoujo’s world. Thanks, Alya! ^_^ I might get the next chapter scans there or Billwang which ever comes first since the scans are the same. ^^;
In Skip beat! [chp. 81], Kyouko berates Shou about his professionalism and not taking singing seriously since he let Vie Ghoul copy him. Kyouko’s word struck a cord that made Shou hit Kyouko and unfortunately, it caused a scratch. Shou realized what he did and tried to apologize but he didn’t managed to for Kyouko went into demon mode for a scratch on the face is a no-no for an actress. Outside the room, the lead singer of Vie Ghoul was listening in and expressed an interest on Kyouko. Interesting enough, he can see Kyouko’s demons. I guess the name of their band somewhat suggest that he is into ghouls. ^^; Somewhere else, Ren had finished shooting and while walking, Yashiro decided to tease Ren about watching Shou’s PV to see Kyouko as an angel. Unfortunately for Yashiro even if he goes into puppy eyes, Ren is quite determined not to watch it.
Yashiro then tells him about what would have been Shou’s reaction when he saw Kyouko dressed that way. Then, they talked about the possibility of Shou going for Kyouko again though Ren doesn’t believe that it is possible after what he did to Kyouko. The next day, Kyouko is still angry about the scratch and that she failed to give Shou a beating for she was dragged out of the studio by the security, thinking she was a deranged fan. She apologized to her manager for it might cost her interview in the show not being shown.
Then, Ren came in and it seemed that he had asked Kyouko’s manager for something. Ren and Kyouko were surprised to see each other. Ren then asked what is the matter for she seemed angry. Kyouko told her that it was because of an incident yesterday. Ren asked if it is because of the wound. Kyouko decided to not tell Ren about it since Ren seemed to be in a good mood so she told him that it was just an accident. At the studio, Yashiro is making freak out faces as the people are gathering about regarding a visitor of Kyouko’s. Yahiro goes into hyper freak out when he saw Kyouko coming in with Ren. Ogata then approached them to tell Kyouko that she has a visitor. To their surprise, it was Shou.
Hehehe...the next chapter would be really interesting and it would come out this week. ^_^ What would Ren do now for the one whom he thought isn’t a rival has suddenly came. And well, how would he react when he learned who scratched Kyouko’s face. Somehow, I think that is good for it would be good for their scenes for the drama – they are ‘enemies’ in the drama. I wonder if Kyouko would really try to beat up Shou for scar since I doubt she would do that with all the people there. Lastly, from the last scene, it became apparent to me how tall Ren really was. ^^;;

It is Friday the 13th today but I experienced my bad luck yesterday. I mistakenly tinkered with the gba program and it wiped out the recent save I had of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories just when I’m finishing the last world to go to the story proper. =( I’m so discouraged by it that I just read the script to get it over with. ^^; So, the Riku that Sora fought is just a fake. Narine has the power to mess up memories and in the ended, help Sora get his memories back as Sora vows to meet her again – something like that. Meanwhile, Riku is also traveling in the castle with Mickey and has learned to embraced the darkness and still be himself. Mm..I wonder if this story would carry through Kingdom Hearts 2 or they would just recap a bit for those who haven’t played the game. GBA are a jinx to me. This isn’t the first time this had happened. I used to play Zelda on my niece’s gba and the same thing happened. My recent save has vanished. Sigh.
Karin has become really boring. In episode 10, Karin is just studying with Kenta as her father is looking over them. I guess I would appreciate this more if I understood what is happening. Looking at the Half-moon got me a bit bored, too. I must be tired or something. The story is about a boy who kept on ‘escaping’ out of the hospital and coming back late. He met a sickly girl and befriended her. Then, they went to a mountain and he collapse on exhaustion. I guess this would be more enjoyable if I could understand Jap and well, I could just guess that the two would become lovers in the end because the ending credits had a wedding picture of the two. There is no episode next week but then since this is just a 6-episode series, I might as well just watch it until the end.
A longer version of the advertisement of Ergo Proxy got me thinking twice whether to watch it. ^^; It seemed that the only nice looking character is the lead girl and the rest are not so pretty to look at. I suddenly remembered why I tend to not like futuristic sci-fi anime. It does have a bit of Ghost in the Shell feel to it though.

And, I finished watching another old anime, Peace Maker Kurogane. The sole reason why I watched this is just to have an idea on Shinsengumi. ^^; It is about a boy who wanted to join the Shinsengumi so that he can avenge his father’s death since the villain is a chosu?, enemies of the Shinsengumi. He managed to get enlisted along with his brother and ended up being a servant to the vice-chief. The first part is okay until the middle part that it is becoming hard to watch for the non-direction especially with that silly omnyouji villain and well, I don’t like the boy lead who can be quite bratty at times. It picked up again near the end when one of the group’s spies got killed. It became interesting and I’m happy since it focused on my fave char, Susumu. Hehehe
Unfortunately, I didn’t get to see Hijikata or even Saitou in action at the end. =( Obviously, I like three characters in this series. Hehehe So, this series is good if I just skip the middle part which is boardering boring and well, maybe not include that pig mascot even if it is cute. The ending seems to suggest that there is still a continuation even though pretty much everything is wrap up as the boy managed to conquer his demons and has more or less, adapted into the group. I’m checking the manga now in Chinese. There is a second part of this series and I’m unsure if this series is finished already. Anyway, the purpose of watching this series was somewhat fulfilled since I did get to know more on the Shinsengumi. I’m surprised that the lead is actually a real person, too. ^^; It also helped me get to appreciate more the Shinsegumi in Gintama. ^_^
I did the same ‘trick’ with sis who stayed overnight here yesterday. I showed her the first part of Hana Yori Dango jap drama and before I know it, she liked it, too and has started watching. Hehehe I guess the series has its charm even if the guys aren’t exactly good looking.

I finished Last Exile. The story started with two kids doing delivery messages during the war. Then, they were asked to deliver a kid to a well-known ship. From then on, they stayed with that ship as they try to protect the kid. At first, I thought that the war is just for the two groups of people who seemed to be fighting it out for water then, there is this other people, Guild, who seemed to be the source of that water but uses it as a way to ‘bully’ the people on the ground.
The ship’s goal is to get the exile and was said earlier to be a powerful weapon to control the world, well, something to that effect with the little kid, Al as the key to open it when she hears certain phrases. The ship’s captain, Alex, seemed to have a vendetta against the head of the Guild and has been collecting them phrases. As for the two lead kids, their dream is to fly into the Grand Stream to flown where their fathers did and where their fathers died. Along the way, they had a bit of arguments and Claus, the kid pilot even had girls in the ship ended up liking him that made Lavie, his navigator/mechanic a bit jealous. Also, there is a couple of Guild kids who are staying with them since Dio, likes Claus.
By the near end, they all lost hope when Dephine captured key characters and has opened three phrases courtesy of hostage, Alex but then, Alex deliberately not know the last phrase in case of being caught. Poor Dio was brainwashed and made to be an invalid of some sort. Now, Dio’s friend managed to help escape everyone except Alex. The thing that made me wonder why did the friend bother asking Dephine for Dio’s freedom since obviously it won’t be granded but then, his sacrifice was not for nothing for it made Delphine defenseless without any bodyguards. I also don’t like how Claus just left Dio when they were on the ground and snubbed him when they were in the Grand Stream. It just made me think that they should just left Dio in the Guild, at least, he would be safe there. What a waste of character.
Alex’s demise was really something and I kind of like it since I don’t quite like Sophia – what’s with that kiss with Claus. ^^; Even though I didn’t want him to die, I guess he did accomplish his goal and got his revenge. When I think of his revenge, it does seem kind of shallow. I mean, he wanted to kill her just because she was smiling and not helping them when they went into the Grand Stream. At first, I thought Dephine was the reason for their demise and that revenge would be more valid. Lastly, the exile. I thought it is a weapon and all the trouble that Dephine went through just to get Al was for nil for exile just breaks down the grand stream and causes the real skies to open so that they would have fresh water, I assume so that the lands would be fertile again. From the looks of it, it doesn’t seem to be a thing to be controlled in the first place and I don’t quite get what it is – an alien ship? ^^;; In the end, everyone went about their lives.
The cg and animation is nice. The characters are okay but then, the characters I like and find interesting didn’t made it through the series. ^^; I don’t like the opening/closing songs. Overall, tt was ok to watch and was a bit enjoyable until the end that is until I start thinking over some things and how things are resolved. ^^;
In Noein [ep. 6-10], Haruka went to the future and back again courtesy of Karasu. Upon arriving, it seemed that things are back to normal. I guess Haruka is just a cheerful kid, not worrying about what would happen next or at least wondering, why would they be after her – what they want from her. Then, Yuu’s problem with her mom was solved. I guess it just takes a visit to her bestfriend, Haruka’s mom and a visit to the past to stop her from pushing Yuu to study hard. I do find the reason a bit weird though. Yuu’s mother changed just the last 2 years when their grandmother died. Yuu’s mother tried to be like her deceased sister whom their mother liked better. I do wonder why does she has to press her dream to Yuu just when the one whom she tries to prove her worth is dead. Unless of course, she was thinking that it was her sister’s funeral and not her mother’s. Mm..would mentally stability run in the family? Well, after that, she has changed and let Yuu do what he wants. The next part is on Atobe trying to kill Haruka again but got foiled by Karasu again. Geez, why bother showing that..waste of time. Then, Karasu’s former comrades are trying to get to Haruka. Now that I think about it, weren’t the people from the future also trying to kill Haruka..what difference would it make if Atobe kills her. ^^; I would have enjoyed this series more if I like the art though..but that is just me being picky.
I watched Fate/Stay Night [ep. 1]. With all the rave about this series which is based on a game, I might as well check it out and well, I did like their previous story, Tsukihime. The story is about 7..was it 7 magicians and their servants who will fight it out for the holy grail. It started with a girl summoning her servant. Next was this boy who has a talent for fixing things and is quite idealistic of wanting to save people and not leaving one dead. The rest of the episode is more on his daily life and a mysterious girl telling him to call his servant or else, he would end up dead. Last scene was the earlier girl with her servant, Archer looking for enemies to fight. I can’t say much but the phasing seemed to be a bit like Tsukihime – a bit slow and well, there are some scenes that somewhat reminded me of Tsukihime. Overall, it is okay so I might watch some more.
I have downloaded an episode of Hana Yori Dango jap drama series. After watching it, it was okay though the F4 cast doesn’t seem to my taste. The one who plays Domyouji char seemed a bit gayish or was it just the outfits. Anyway, I didn’t plan to download anymore since I already know the story for I have watch some of the anime and the Taiwanese drama about it but my mom came to like it so I would download the other episodes. I’m surprised she liked it that she kept asking me if I already got the next episode. Drama series are quite big in size compared to anime so it is taking a bit of time. At most, it is just one episode per day. Good thing that this is just a 9 episode series.

Well, it does seem that Riku is an enemy again in KH:Chain of Memories. Everything seemed to be pretty much like Kingdom Hearts all over again. ^^; Mm..I do wonder if indeed Riku has just forgotten his memories or the organization has convinced him to join them. So far, I can still beat him without dying. The bosses for the worlds aren’t so easy though. ^^; It takes a few tries to figure out a strategy against them.
I watched Mushishi [ep. 9] and this time it is about rice also, the question of is it worth it to sacrifice one person for the good of others? That is indeed a difficult question. The guy decided on the good of others but ended up losing his wife. =( Anyway, at least, in the end, he managed to atone for it with the help of Ginko.
There are no Jump scans yet that I wonder if it is this week that doesn’t have Jump or well, it is delayed this time. Anyway, since I’m a bit bored and I wanted to put it up, here is the Merupuri omake that I wrote about yesterday. ^_^

 Friday, January 6, 2006 @ 04:44 p.m.
I had finished the first half of worlds in KH:Chain of Memories. I have another half to go. The worlds are indeed pretty much the same as in Kingdom Hearts, except this time it is more on memories. The new enemy is these hooded people who is in an organization that is taking their time to ‘test’ Sora and that they need him for something. Then, there is about this girl who used to live with Sora and the others. She gave Sora a star accessory. I really have to check on his char design again, I couldn’t remember a star accessory. ^^; Mm, it seems that Riku is with the enemies again.
Shuffle! has ended but then, I pretty much have guessed what would happen so it wasn’t that fun. As expected, Rin used the blade to force Asa to use her magic and so that, she won’t suffer anymore. It seemed that using magic could cause one’s hair to grow long. The latter half is more like everything is back to normal. While in Karin [ep. 9], it is still the usual with Karin thinking Kenta doesn’t like her since he turned down her bento but it turned out that it was because Kenta doesn’t like tomatoes for her mother is feeding him for dinner, nothing but tomatoes. Karin’s younger sis sorted things out and the last half of the episode is on her and her younger sis’s memories of each other – how Karin loves her and Karin with Kenta having a mini date. There is a preview on a new anime coming this February, which will replace Guyver. It is called Ergo Proxy. It seemed to be sci fi and the type that makes one’s head ache when watching like Ghost in the Shell. The lead is a girl with a gun...everything seemed dark and grim but nice to look at. Hehehe Here is a pic from wowow.
I had finished browsing through Merupuri. Overall, it was okay and nice art as what is to expect from the author. I like the last kiss scene though. Everyone got a partner or well, more or less have a happy ending. I’m surprised that my guess before that Airi’s classmate has some connection with the magic kingdom is right. ^^; My problem with this series is that the lead is a kid. Okay, so he can change to Airi’s age and was said to have only 3 years difference but still, Aram is a kid. The part that I find a bit cliché was the amnesia arc. And, I like her omake on how Merupuri could have ended – when they met, Airi just gave the mirror to Aram and left. The end. Lol.

Before I know it, Parfait Tic [c.117] is up already. ^^; The first scene was Icchi reading Daiya’s note then he goes to answer the phone. The next, the foursome arrived at their destination. The houses aren’t really like mushrooms as Fuuko thought but more like a tree house. Everyone was excited to see the place while Fuuko is still out of it – thinking of the wolf. ^^; Daiya then teased her that she was thinking of something that can’t be told to others. Fuuko blushed and denied it. She then went off to chase after Daiya.
Isocchi gave Akiou the keys to their house. He then told her if they can be alone for the night. Akiou blushed. Isocchi quickly told her that it isn’t what she thinks. He wants to gaze at the stars with her and he has something to give her. Akiou agreed. The foursome went to their own houses. Then, they noticed the sign which says that their beds are actually just sleeping bags so their worries are for naught.
Then, they went playing around and hiking. Fuuko is enjoying herself and thought that it is nice to be born a girl. Meanwhile, Hyper sempai is also saying the same thing. Icchi then tells the mannequin, save me. Lol. Hyper sempai pointed out that it is a mannequin. Irritated, Icchi said that he knows. Hyper sempai is then going about how she hopes someone would see them together. Icchi then tells her that since he already got her gift, he is going home. Hyper sempai then shouts for him to wait. Icchi then told her to be calm as he said before. Hyper sempai then told him that he is such a cold person. She then tells him that she won’t give up and just let her like him. Icchi was surprised by what she said.
Back to his apartment, Icchi met Fuuko’s mother. She then asked if Daiya is really out and that it seemed that they are really going to stay overnight. Icchi was surprised about it and so the secret is out. ^^; Back to the foursome, they are preparing to cook dinner, I presume then they realized that they don’t have soy sauce. Akiou and Isocchi went back to buy some. Akiou apologizes for forgetting but Isocchi said that it is okay since they get to be together. Akiou then looks at the bus sign to know what time the bus would come and to her shock, the bus they rode on was the last one. The next bus is for the next day. At the camping site, Daiya and Fuuko wondered what is taking them so long and it is getting cold already. Daiya then invites her to the house so that they would be warm. Fuuko hesitantly goes up, too.
I guess they would really end up spending the night together, just the two of them. ^^; I wonder what would Icchi do after knowing that the two stayed overnight. I’m beginning to wonder if this series is a bi-monthly like Hana no Yume.
In Blood+ [c. 6], everyone went to Vietnam. George just asked David to take care of his children. Kai was telling Saya to try some noodles. Saya told her that they are not sightseeing but embarrassed herself when her stomach is growling.
Julia told them that their clue are the blue roses that were left after she was beaten up. They went around asking about the blue roses when Saya saw a girl carrying a basket of blue roses. She quickly chased her with the thought of saving Riku. She managed to grab the girl just when a huge truck was about to hit them. Haji protects her as the others managed to catch up to her. Kai asked what was the matter. Saya tries to tell them about the girl then saw that the girl is missing a leg. She goes on a panic as she apologizes for she thought the truck got the girl’s leg. She then told her that it was from before. Julia then noticed the blue roses. They asked her where she got them. The girl looked flustered then her stomach rumbles. David and Kai immediately looked at Saya as Saya told them that it isn’t her. Lol.
They gave the girl some noodles and the girl devoured it. She introduced herself as Mui as she told them that as thanks, she will lead them to where she got the roses. She then remembers to take some medicine. At some mansion, Solomon visited the vampire kid who I assume is Karl. They had some argument and fought but apparently, Solomon is much stronger and faster. Back to the others, while walking through the jungle and near the village, Saya is seeing illusions of her past. She screams then passes out. Saya then wakes up and Haji comforts her. The others then came and told her that she is not alone. Outside, David thinks that Saya is still a weapon. Outside the village, Jan, was offering the villagers some medicine, the same ones that Mui is taking. The last scene was Riku waking up upon hearing someone talking. Then, he saw Karl crying.
The manga totally removed the arc on the Vietnam school and phantom of the anime. I like this version of Karl than the anime’s. Well, at least, the manga didn’t kill George. I really like the comedic scenes here. ^_^ Thanks to the anime though, I can somewhat follow the story even though the translation is in simplified Chinese except when the villains are talking though. ^^;

A new character is introduced in Blood+ [ep. 11]. Solomon is the CEO of the company that makes the wine to make chiroptera/vampire monsters from humans. He has taken a liking of Saya during the dance. Since I watched this after School Rumble ova, I can’t help but be remined of Imadoki when I look at him – a serious version that is. ^^; The main purpose of David’s group is to get Diva and Karl aka phantom is its bodyguard much like Haji is Saya’s. I don’t have an idea what is their purpose though – make all humans into chiroptera that they can control is my theory. I’m guessing that Diva is the enemy’s equivalent to Saya. The next scene was going to their laboratory. I find it puzzling as to why Saya didn’t just ask them who/what is Diva and just following their orders.
In episode 12, the container that contains Diva was opened and non-ordinary humans can hear the song. Saya was numbed by the song as she fears going out of control like before. Meanwhile, Kai managed to outwit the jailers and managed to free himself as well as Riku and the others, I presume for the other kids started singing along with the song. Kai went upstairs to check what’s happening which is a no-no for he left poor Riku along with the others. As I guess, the children became chiroptera and pretty ugly ones that it reminded me of the local monster here, ‘tiyanak’ which is like a baby monster. Gross. Anyway, things aren’t looking well as two of the group became monster food. Finally, by next episode based on the preview, Saya would be of some use instead of being useless when she goes in full attack mode. I do hope this time she is awakened. I hope she gets rid of Karl – I don’t like that guy.
I like the ending scene of Paradise Kiss [ep. 9] when Yukari ‘teased’ Jouji about giving him a kiss if they won. Episode 9 pretty much showed that life goes on for Yukari as she goes back to school. By the end of it, it shows that the two still care for each other even after they fought. Episode 10 has them preparing for the show and a bit of Isabella’s past. ‘She’ was pretty lucky to have confessed to the right person. Can’t wait for the last few episodes. I’m sure Yukari would wow them all. ^_^
In Parfait Tic [c. 116], it has finally sinked in to Fuuko that she would be spending the night with Daiya and she can’t remove from her head the picture of Daiya as a wolf. ^^; During the test, her imagination is still going wild about the two boys inviting them then grabbing them into the mushroom houses. Because of her making faces, Ichi wonders what’s up with her. Fuuko tries to erase the image as she thought that Daiya isn’t that kind of person. Later on, when they met, she learned that they will be staying ‘dorm’ style. Girls are in one house while the boys at the other house.
Daiya said it is to consider what her parents would think and he doesn’t want them to feel unease about it. Fuuko was happy that Daiya was even thinking of what her parents would think and while thinking, apologizes to Daiya for thinking of his badly. Daiya then told her not to tell Icchi. Daiya said because if it was him, if he learns that the girl he likes would stay with another guy, he would go there and find them. Daiya then looks at Fuuko and said that he would run away crying.
Fuuko was shocked and thought that it would be embarrassing. Daiya said that he is just teasing her for in reality, he would grab her and escape. Then, Daiya grabs Fuuko and runs. Fuuko thinks that she is still a bit uneasy with Icchi and that Daiya is still worrying about Icchi’s situation but this kind of Daiya makes her heart beat. That night, Fuuko asked permission from her mother. Fuuko insists that she won’t be alone with Daiya for there are other two friends with them. Her mom finally agreed but told her to be careful of the wolf. Fuuko freaks out and wonders if her mom is just teasing her or was saying it for real.
The next day, Fuuko and Akiou went underwear shopping. Akiou was looking at lacy underwear and wonders if would be suitable. Fuuko then imagines that Akiou in sheep clothes going on her own at the mushroom house, saying good luck, as Daiya in wolf grabs her. Akiou then tells her that she is joking for boys and girls are separated and her dream was to do it on a hotel overlooking the sea. Akiou then murmurs that the boys and girls are separated. Fuuko hugs her and said that it seems she is also embarrassed by it or rather, she is thinking of the same thing as her since Fuuko mentioned that they are like sheep. Akiou denies it. I don’t quite understand the next scenes since I don’t know what was that thing that Akiou bought.
After the class council meeting, Icchi dismisses everyone. Hyper sempai then told Icchi that it is White day the next day. She then went on that she doesn’t have happy memories on White day then said that Fuuko has given him a chocolate on Valentine’s day. Icchi then said that it doesn’t involve her. She then goes on about not giving any on Valentines. Icchi said that she is going over trivial things. I think she then said that she has her own likes and not like Fuuko’s but what Fuuko likes, she is getting to understand it little by little. I don’t understand the last scene for I’m assuming that it is hyper sempai talking, she said that this will help you but don’t forget to buy the present.
The exams are finally over. The foursome are now at the bus stop. Isocchi asked Daiya to take pictures of them as he gave him disposable camera? as Fuuko is teasing Akiou. Daiya then asked if Icchi saw her. She said it’s no problem and what about him. Daiya said that he left while Icchi was sleeping and explained everything with a note. A scene of Icchi reading the note – I’m going out and will return tomorrow. As they went up the bus, Fuuko said that is quite a good idea, guys are so independent/free. I think she means that they are free to do things with less parent supervision compared to girls. Daiya laughs and said that being free, tonight and tomorrow, they will be free. Fuuko’s imagination then went overdrive as she thought of the lamb-wolf again as Daiya is saying, so I won’t be ‘considerate’ anymore or I’m going to go ahead – hard to explain in English. I think the last scene’s sound effect was Fuuko collapsing on the floor as she thought it couldn’t be real as Daiya calls out to her. Lol.
The main focus of this chapter is Fuuko’s overactive imagination. I hope the author doesn’t play this lamb-wolf idea too long. What I didn’t quite understand about this chapter is what Hyper sempai? said in the last scene while they were talking. I guess I would get to understand it in the next chapters for I doubt she would be helping Icchi get Fuuko. I do wonder if they will be going out together while the others went out.

Hehehe..I ended up reading chapter 17 of Shinshi Doumei Cross when it got uploaded. ^^; Nice pic of Haine on the cover – slightly gothic. She was making out with the real Shizumasa when he stopped since she is crying. She then told him that she doesn’t want to be called a ‘bad child’ and until something about gaining respect from her father who threw her away. I’m assuming that she will do it when she has a backbone or something. Haine then said that this Shizumasa is the same as before when she met during the snow..I guess she is referring the day when she fell for him. He quickly embraced her and was going to kiss her when he got an attack.
The clinic doctor was going to socialize with Usio when he learned that Shizumasa went out. The doctor quickly left. Back to the couple, Shizumasa is having a hard time breathing that made Haine worry about him. He told her he is fine and he is going back. Haine is all perked up as she wants to do her best and be Shizumasa’s strength. Before Shizumasa collapsed, the doctor got him. Shizumasa then smiles as he told the doc that his replacement would take his place tomorrow.
Then, a couple of days later, there was a fuss about a picture of Haine and Shizumasa kissing on the newspaper. The fake Shizumasa came and was pretty much shocked when he saw the newspaper. He told Haine to forget everything about last night. I think that is Maora who told Shizumasa not to be like that. They argue and Haine interrupted that she won’t forget. Angered and I assume jealousy, fake Shizumasa quickly told her to forget or else, forget that she is his platinum. Then, he told them to get out. Poor shock Haine.
What I like about this chapter. The real Shizumasa is delightfully evil. He makes a mess and obviously hates his replacement then makes fake face it all. Fufufu. I’m not sure if his feeling for Haine is really or not since I breeze through the previous chapters. I think he is playing with Haine at times and being real or was it brilliant acting. I mean who could have had that picture taken? Obvious, trying to make fake jealous. Either way, I find his character interesting but then, I doubt he will appear anytime soon again. I hope it won’t be like fake and Haine fixing it out then he came again to mess it again, etc until they realized that they were actually two people. Well, the author seemed to love to torture Haine and the fake Shizumasa. ^^; This fake one can be really brutal. How can he expect her to just forget it so easily after just two nights? ^^;; Mm..actually, he can just do stuff to destroy the real Shizumasa’s reputation unless they have something on him to make him obey them. I highly doubt that they can easily find a look-alike replacement. Anyway, that was a fun chapter. Hopefully, next chapter would be as good.
In D. Gray-man [c. 71], Rinali seemed to be powering up and she insults Titler that he would be finished before her. I’m assuming that Rinali is using a high level synchronization with her innocence but from the looks of it, it can cost her her life. Titler got angry and started beating up poor Rinali. She then told him that she ‘absorbed’ his power or something and her legs transformed into some sort of weapon. Then, the ship where Rabi and the others were on went above waters again. I guess it is because Titler is using all of his energy on Rinali. Rabi and others took this chance to defeat the akuma above the sky. The last scene was Rinali attacking? Titler with a huge blast. I guess they don’t need Allen’s or anybody’s help in the end. ^^;
Skip Beat [c. 80] is uploaded but they made a mistake with the numbering of the pages, it started at page 14 then around 20+, they went back to the first page then continue where it was left off. I guess they’ll fix it again later on. To the story, Kyouko is going to guest at a show for newcomers. Kyouko got invited since people had began to notice her especially for her role as an angel in Shou’s video. Kyouko then remembers her plan on using Shou as her stepping stone to stardom. As she was walking down the hallway, she noticed Shou’s name on a door. She doesn’t dare go back to check if she saw it for real so she went on her way forgetting the whole thing.
Then, she pauses for a while wondering why he was there if it could be just to promote his video when it is already out. Meanwhile, inside, Shou obviously looked angry about something as Shouko as if he is sure about it and they left. Later on, after her interview, Kyouko was thinking about her choice of clothes and that Shou would probably be laughing at her for wearing something ordinary. She is paying for her acting school and high school so she can’t let herself indulge in luxuries and she dreams of buying royal snow make up. Someone then comes knocking at her door. Thinking it was the staff wanting her to go out of the room – someone else want to use it?, she hurried packed her things and answered the door. To her surprise, it was someone she doesn’t know.
The guy looked a bit like Shou. He asked if she was Kyouko in Shou’s video and she said yes. The guy then laughed and left. Kyouko was insulted and asked what was that guy’s problem and who the heck is he. Elsewhere at Dark moon’s studio, Kyouko’s co-stars are watching Shou’s video and were shocked that the angel was actually Kyouko. They thought she was just a nobody and that they wondered if they had ‘cg’ her face so make her so unrecognizable in the video. Outside their room, Ren overheard everything and wonders what the fuss is about. Yashiro tried to bait him into ‘begging’ him to know what was it about. Ren caught up on him – wanting to tease him – so he quickly said he is uninterested and left as Yashiro goes after him.
One girl said that she was envious that Kyouko got Ren’s attention and is near Shou’s. Good thing that there is a new group to focus her attention on which took no. 1 song in the charts from Shou. It is the Vie Ghoul. One of the staff told Kyouko about the group. Kyouko thought that they were just copycats of Shou – copying his outfits, the way he answers, etc. After their interview, they passed by Kyouko and insults her that she is so ordinary that she is a match with Shou. Then, the lead singer tells her that her outfit is so ordinary. Kyouko’s demons started popping out as she was very angry that she has to bear this insults just because she is in Shou’s video. She decided to give Shou a piece of her mind as she went to his backstage room and told Shou that she wants to talk to him.
This chapter is pretty much an introduction of the new characters, mainly, Vie Ghoul’s lead singer. Based on the next chapter, the new character’s role seems to be something. I feel sorry for that other girl before, Kyouko is getting all the attention of her fans. Hehehe Mm..Kyouko’s plan of using Shou to improve her star status had somewhat backfired that she got herself some pesky people to bug her. ^^; The title is interesting though..start of an unexpected love story. I’m guessing Kyouko and Ren’s – making Ren do something already before Kyouko gets ‘stolen’ by someone else. Hehehe

Looking up at the half moon, the anime which will replace Shuffle! turns out to have only 6 episodes. I read that it is about two people who fell in love while in the hospital. Unfortunately, one of them is dying. After that, it is Shinigami no Ballad which is also 6 episodes, too. From Matthew’s blog, the shinigami reminds me of the type in Full Moon. She doesn’t have her memories and is a bit hesitant in taking lives. One chapter is on helping a boy in realizing that his father is overbearing just for his own good. It was nice so I guess I would look forward to these two new anime in wowow.
I found a Kaori Yuki one shot in billwang which is about this perfume master. It was okay but then, it kind of reminds me of Count Cain. Instead of poisons, it is perfume. The perfume guy was asked by a French girl to find a person whom he made a perfume before. They traced her scent from this guy who always carries huge bouquets of roses. He noticed that there is a strench and they assumed that he killed the girl. In the end, it turned out that the girl has killed her mother accidentally when the mother tried to shoot the guy in hopes that they be separated. The roses he brings are to be put on the mother’s corpse to prevent it others from smelling the stench. Geez, why didn’t they just leave the corpse and escape already. ^^; Anyway, the perfume guy has used a scent to make others suspicious of the place. In the end, the two got arrested. I’m assuming that this is before Fairy Cube for the cover says it is published on Sept. 15.
Alya told me that the Vampire Knight drama cd is only for Japanese readers or well, if you get coupons and ship them to the publishers. I somewhat read that this is how it is also for Skip beat drama cd before. I had tried looking for a file of it on the net and no luck. Well, Billwang has it before but I think the link is already dead.

Happy New Year! Last night, we just ate at home, stayed at home and that pretty sums it up. ^^; I cleaned up the files in my computer and burned the ones that I want a copy of. It was quite noisy outside with all the firecrackers and it was pretty smokey. There are some nice fireworks this year though they are pretty short. I had one of the glass window transparent so I can see and not smell all that smoke.
Today, we have a new year lunch with sis’ family. This seemed to have become a tradition ever since last year or was it last last year. After that, we stayed at the house again since malls are closed and well, tomorrow, it is work again. Back to normal days...
I watched Sousei no Aquarion [ep. 20-22]. Things have picked up again especially with Sirius deflecting to the enemy. The merging of the mecha is getting tiresome though. I think four more episodes before this ends. Bleach anime is already ending the soul society arc at episode 62. I think the epilogue would be on 63. I’m really amused on their preview..the next episode would be a 1-hour special and just when Ichigo is supposedly have rest up since they are taking a break. I do hope the filler is good if not, well, I’ll just skip it and wait until they went back to the story. Hope it isn’t like the filler on Kon at episode 50.
In One Piece [chp. 395], Sauro hurries to Robin as the other people are hurriedly evacuating. Clover has told the government that the lost history is something ‘against’ the World Government as they had something to do with the destruction of a city. The people of that city had left polygraphs to tell the world the truth. The heads of the government decided to punish Ohara for knowing too much and they are going to use the buster call. CP9 took Olivia for they needed something more from her. Robin asked Olivia if she is her mother and revealed that she is an archeaologist – she studied hard so that her mother would take her with her. Her mother denies it as she tries to save Robin’s reputation – not be a daughter of a criminal. The government has commence the buster call on Ohara. Mm..I wonder if Olivia would admit it in the end though I do assume that Sauro would be the one who would save Robin.
There is still no Skip beat! uploaded and I’m assuming it would be around this week, when the new chapter is about to be released. I had read the latest chapter 81 summary. Wah, Nakamura is getting good at her cliffhangers. Nothing much happened in chapter 80 wherein Kyouko met Shou where she will be guesting to promote her drama and met with this singer who insults her.
So much for my willpower on waiting for the Chinese scans, I ended up looking at the Jap scans of chapter 81 from Billwang. That was a fun chapter..can’t wait to read in Chinese. Kyouko and Shou had an argument that made him hit her and scratched her face, which is a no-no for actors/actresses. She spooked him with her beloved demons as payback. Hehehe Meanwhile, Yashiro is having fun teasing Ren about watching Shou’s PV to see Kyouko. That was pretty cute. Then, they are going to shoot for Dark Moon. Kyouko is worrying about the scratch and wonders how to explain it – got scratched by a dog as an alibi? Ren picked her up and when they went to the studio, Kyouko learned that they have a guest. It was no other than Shou. He must be worried about her. Would love to see Ren’s reaction when he learned who scratched Kyouko’s face. Hehehe I would summarize in detail when the Chinese is out. I can’t wait for the next chapter which would be out around the third week.
I’m expecting the new Vampire Knight chapter to be out around that time, too or earlier. There is a summary in Billwang but since my brain tends to go ‘off’ when there are lots of Chinese. I can only get bits and pieces. There is something about their uniform which I think is quite minor. Then, about Yuuki ‘saving’ this lonely guy, and that could only be Zero. There could be a new character and she knows about Zero. How many people actually knows about Zero’s problem? And, lastly, something about Zero’s younger brother could be alive. For those who buy Lala, if I read this correctly, there is something for the VK fans on March issue and it includes a drama cd. There are two kinds of cd. The other is a cd-pack, which is also available in February.
The extra chapters seemed to be available only on the volumes. The ones I have seen is one is about a certain program and about ‘idol’ in the night class. The other one is more on Zero and Yuuki typical day with a last scene of Yuuki and Kaname. Then, there is an extra on volume 2, more on the night class – omake types. I didn't get the idol program even if it is in Chinese. The others are in Jap so I don't understand.

The farewell party last Thursday was uneventful perhaps except for my aunt – the celebrant – who fell down when she was in a hurry to go. She looked really awful. They went home earlier and had her check up at the hospital. Yesterday, mom asked if she was fine but she was already out – shopping so apparently, she is okay now. My hunch was right. The kids did stayed overnight and spend the whole day yesterday at our house. We were suppose to go out in the afternoon but bro was doing something else and it ended up late.
I had found this Kingdom Hearts :Chain of Memories gba file. I recall before about emulators and yesterday, I was successful in making it work. The PSX one didn’t worked though. =( Anyway, I plan to finish this game before Kingdom Hearts 2 comes out by March. The story continues on as Sora and others goes to Oblivion Castle and pretty much a recap of Kingdom Hearts [the places are pretty much a repeat] as he tries to find Riku. There is something about memories here and the theme is more on gaining something but losing something.
The battle system is a bit irritating though. Sora has to depend on cards and it said that one has to plan properly in using. I was really lucky to be able to defeat the heartless in Traverse town when I stupidly used up all the high powered attacks. ^^; The rest, I just came up with a strategy. It is hard to plan these things though since the enemies would keep on hitting Sora when I concentrate on looking at the cards if they would defeat the enemy and sometimes, Sora is looking at the other way so I wasted a card. ^^; Those huge blob things are the most irritating since I have to attack them at the back. Anyway, I’m now on the second floor – Addadin’s place. I still couldn’t figure out how the opening of doors works. I just try every card and hoping, that one of them works. Lol.
So much for thinking that there will be no Jump this week. There is a new Bleach chapter today. ^^; The arrancars asked what was that about limiters. Hitsugaya and others explained that since they are ranked, they have limiters to limit their powers in order not to wreck too much havoc. When the arrancars realized that they are outmatched, they tried to retreat but it was futile for the shinigamis defeated them in one blow. So much for that and now, it leaves Ichigo. I wonder if this time, his hollow self would emerge.
Lastly, WISHING YOU ALL a GREAT NEW YEAR’S DAY filled with PEACE, LOVE, HAPPINESS, GOODWILL and FUN!

I went out with Asher yesterday. My sis gave me a free coupon of buffet for two at a hotel so we used it. There were lots of food and the place is pretty classy but then, it has just renovated. The food well, is okay. The rest of the time, we just walked around the mall. Asher then saw my sis walking at the mall. Good thing we didn’t went downstairs yet to wait for sis. Since Asher needs to go home already, I joined sis who is buy some more stuff.
After that, we went to pick up mom then went to a mall to meet sis’ father-in-law but ended up being cancelled. We then went grocery shopping. It is a membership warehouse type of grocery. Times must be hard that they charge for every plastic bag you will use so we removed the other plastic bags we had to put the grocery in it. We then ate at this Jap resto where we ate before. As times goes by, the place is getting dirtier [I saw 3 really small cockroaches] but the food is still great. I ate only a little since I’m still a bit full. We then saw some Japanese who bought some potato chips and was sharing it with the owner. Bro who joined us, asked the waitress where it was bought. We went to the jap grocery later on. Sis bought some of those Calbee products for her father-in-law loves those and went to HK before to buy them. I saw Jump there and it costs around 280+ pesos. I didn’t buy it since I already read it and based on the official page, it cost twice here. It is only then I realized that it was a double issue so no Jump for this week.
When I went home, my nephew is waiting for me to ‘play’ with him. ^^; I also opened Asher’s gift. Arigato, Asher. I texted a bit with this old high school friend whom I haven’t been in contact for some time already. That sums up my day yesterday.
Today, nephew and I woke up late. I managed to keep him busy some times while I’m on the net/helping with my bro’s transactions. Tonight, there is a farewell party for my aunt and family who will be migrating to the US. It also serves as a Christmas reunion, I guess. The chances are high for the two kids to stay overnight again tonight anyway, at least, there is no work tomorrow so my parents can help in keeping them busy. hehehe

I had started watching Mushishi and it is quite good. It is pretty much about Ginko, a mushishi [insect teacher] who ‘cures’ and helps people who are ‘bugged’ by mushis which are something like insects ghosts that can’t be seen by people. The series is episodic and it made me remember of the ‘albularyo’ here. That is pretty much like a medicine man who can cure people of ‘illness’ and other things that are caused by supernatural forces, in this case, dwarves, curses and spirits. The art is nice especially the backgrounds. The setting is rural Japan around the samurai period, I guess. It is a perfect setting for this type of story.
In One Piece [c. 394], Robin arrived at the library to ask about her mother but the others told her that she didn’t came. The marines are coming and Clover told Robin not to tell anyone that she is an archeologist. The marines are telling everyone to escape from the island as they hunt down archeologists who study the polygraph. Olivia was no match for CP9 as she learned that they are going to make an example of Ohara to everyone in the world who tries to study the polygraph. Clover tried to tell Robin to get away but Robin doesn’t want to leave the others. CP9 then tossed Olivia on the ground as they asked if she has any relatives there. Olivia heard Clover persuading Robin to get away so she managed to get a glimpse of Robin.
Spandine, head of CP9 and I think Spandam’s father, told the others that the archeologists are studying the polygraph so that they can find the weapons to destroy the world. Clover then asked to speak to the government regarding their theory on the ‘lost history’ and that the weapons on the polygraph aren’t the main fear of the government. I guess next chapter would be what is actually about this lost history. I somewhat feel sad reading Robin’s flashback, knowing that the outcome would be – most if not all of these people will die.

Last Saturday, bro + kids and sis + hubby had lunch with us and stayed for a bit. They will be going to other parties for dinner. By Sunday, bro dropped off the kids to spend the night just when I’m not feeling too good. My nose has been itching lately and I think it was because of the dust when mom and I were cleaning. Good thing nephew has to nap so I did, too. My niece kept busy with internet among other things. We woke up late this morning. I kept them busy with some art and try to make them do different things before they get on each other’s throat. Around late afternoon, their mother picked them up. Sigh, I’m not good with kids that at times, it felt like they were bullying me. ^^;
I finished watching Fullmetal Panic? Fumoffu. It was okay but then, I pretty much skipped the other episodes since this is episodic. ^^; The one I really found funny was when Tessa had a vacation with them. The rest are pretty much school life with Sousuke. Noein 5 pretty much picked up the plot when Haruka was saved by Karasu from those who wanted to kill her but then, she got taken in with Karasu when he was pulled back, just when Yuu decided to run away. The way the scene moves especially at Haruka’s house, it is obviously cg that sometimes, I think I’m watching a cg of a house being sold, the way they do that. I still don’t like the character designs. ^^;
In D. Gray-man [chp. 70], Rinali managed to break free of her chains and went head on with Titler. Elsewhere, Rabi and the others are fighting other akumas or the one above the sky. Rabi got hit and almost turned into an akuma that Crowley sucked his blood. It made me wonder if it is only Allen who is immuned to the akuma poison. Anyway, Bookman told them to concentrate. Back to Rinali, she got a hit but was caught. She then realized something about the akuma. The art seemed to have changed a bit. Rinali begins to look like Kanda. ^^;;

Nothing much happened in Blood+ [ep. 9-10]. In episode 9, Riku and Kai got took in an orphanage then there is a bit on mines and how it affected the people. The girl they helped was given some special meds – for what? maybe to make her a monster or something. I wonder what was their alibi as to why she needs it – painkiller? In the end, the siblings with the girls got kidnapped. It seems that Riku isn’t just an ordinary boy for he has sensitive hearing. While in episode 10, Saya continues her investigation and the phantom has revealed himself. Saya has begun to remember what happened in the war before. The next episode would be a party as the photographer and David + others would try to infiltrate the school. How lucky for them that they are there just when that cultural party is going to happen. Oh ya, I now know why Haji brings that cello case around – it is effective in crushing the enemies aside from storing Saya’s sword. ^^;
In Noein [ep.4], it seemed that the title meant a certain phantom with a mask. It made Haruka escape from Karasu and others. It also made the others go back to their own time but Karasu managed to escape. Some scenes have Karasu visiting Yuu and guarding Haruka. The rest is focus on Haruka and her friend who was jealous of her when she spend time with Fujiwara. In the end, all things end well. The new development is the enemy – one sided hair, forgot the name wanted to destroy the dragon torque/Haruka and not just capture it. I’m beginning to like that dragon torque necklace...it sure is a nice piece of jewelry. ^_^
Sinclair spend the whole timing trying to find a vampire in Karin [ep. 8] because of a spill of blood on the hallway courtesy of Karin. Kenta helps Karin escape and how they escape from the locker room is the single amusing scene in this whole episode. ^^; I’m still watching this for the sake of watching. In Shuffle! [ep. 23], Asa turned out to be a half-human and half-whatever. Not sure if god or demon – I’m still not sure which is which based on the ears. ^^; Anyway, her body is rejecting since she doesn’t use her powers for she wanted to be human. Good for her that Rin is always there for her but in the end, she left. I do wonder though when the others are visiting, they don’t go up to her room and only gave the gifts through Rin. Is it because Asa was the one who stole Rin’s heart? Anyway, I read from randomc, that the blade that Rin got is important for the next episode, which is the last, based on the game. There will be no episode next week for both Karin and Shuffle. The replacement of Shuffle is Looking up at the Half-Moon. Mm..have no idea what it is about but it doesn’t seem to be a harem series. From wowow, only a boy and a girl is featured.
Hitsugaya is still intact in Bleach [chp. 209] nevertheless, bloody. Hehehe..the author wouldn’t kill/severely injure the top 2 character from the latest popularity poll, it seems. He asked what the ranking of Long meant when he introduced himself. Long told him that from 11 and below, it meant the hollows who leveled up with the help of Aizen while those from top 10 are based on their powers. Grimmjow, who is top 6, managed to fend off all of Ichigo’s attack. Grimmjow taunted him to release his bankai or else, he would be like Rukia. Ichigo did. Back to Hitsugaya, Hitsugaya and Rangiku seemed to be waiting for something. Rangiku is actually holding a transceiver. They were given permission to release their ‘limiters’. The arrancar who defeated Rangiku noticed it and tried to step on Rangiku but she managed to hold it off with one hand.
Rangiku quickly informed Hitsugaya and Renji about it. The arrancars were surprised by it as the flower symbol of their division appears on their chest. They shouted something and a huge energy? came from the sky and went towards the three. At first browse, I thought they have power up but it turned out they were losing because they have ‘limiters’ in order not to wreck to much havoc in the human world. I do wonder, was Rangiku faking it and just waiting for the signal? ^^;I guess there is nothing to worry about for these three and that leaves, Ichigo. The color pic of the popularity poll is nice – winter theme. The top 5 are as according to rank: Ichigo, Hitsugaya, Rukia, Renji and Gin.

Last night, I mistakenly switched off the computer when it haven’t shut down yet. ^^; I really got a fright when the computer won’t open again. Thank God that it did a moment later. There was an error message when I opened it today and for now, it is working fine. I had three error messages before regarding internal power error, which occurred out of nowhere and usually when I just pressed the keyboard. I searched google about it and one site said something about hibernation. I just unchecked it and hopefully, it won’t happen again.
Today is my bro’s birthday and I think today, Kingdom Hearts 2 is out in Japan. I read that Xenosaga 3 would be the last installment and I’m glad since I feared that I would have to get PS3 just to know the ending. Though, I still think that I would get PS3 if it comes out, depending on the games on it. I haven’t been playing my PS2 for some time now. I’ll do once I fix my schedule.
The Chinese film, ‘The Promise’ is getting a lot of attention and the story seemed good. It is about a love triangle between a slave, a general and a princess?. The princess made a deal with a god of forfeiting true love in exchange for beauty and something. It seemed to be quite an eyecandy. The stars include a Korean actor and Japanese actor. It made me wonder if the language would be dub since I doubt they know Chinese. According to the newspaper, it has already defeated Kungfu Hustle in the box office. I do wonder why they changed the title to the Master of the Crimsom Armor in the US version.
I read Wanted last night by Hino Matsuri. Honestly, Vampire Knight is the first series by her that I read. ^^;; Since I would want to know what to expect from VK [if she kills off characters – what kind of endings, etc], I decided to check out her other works. Wanted is a one shot series as in finished in volume 1, I think. The story is about a girl looking for her childhood friend who was kidnapped by pirates. It is pretty obvious that the captain was her friend from the first chapter but good thing the author didn’t drag it on. The next chapter is a typical saving the damsel in distress who got herself in trouble when she wanted to be useful. The last chapter is finding a certain piece that singers would want but as usual, got the pirate in trouble. In the end, everything is okay.
The series is okay and not that bad but then, I noticed that it [or her earlier works] is pretty much different VK which is a bit darker in theme. Scars seemed to be a cross between Zero and Kaname even though this is an earlier work. Interesting. I’m still going to check her other two works, Toware no Minoue [just browsing – her art really improved in VK and this one’s plot seemed to be a bit shallow] and Merupuri. Thanks to google, I found some English scans though they are incomplete. I’ll just follow it up with Chinese scans. Unfortunately, I had read the ending of Merupuri from a site while searching. ^^;;

I finished reading Full Moon wo Sagashite. I checked it out because I read it was good. The story is about Mitsuki who has throat tumor but doesn’t want to have surgery in fear that her vocal cords might be damaged. She wants to sing in order to find her childhood friend. It is the type of situation of not admitting that you like someone until it is too late. Then, two shinigami came to take her but ended up helping her achieve her dream of becoming a singer.
At first, it was okay until everything changed as in the motives of the cast. Mitsuki’s childhood friend turned out to be dead already but then, I can pass it that she wanted to show to him that she is fulfilling her dreams. Then, Mero, the rabbit shinigami, turned out not to like Takuto even after saying it many times and really likes Izumi. So, what the heck was that drama about being the third wheel and almost killing Mitsuki?! The grandma suddenly changed from mean to nice when they found Mitsuki again and saying that she wanted her to pursue the path she wanted. This one, I can let go for maybe she had a change of heart when she has dealt with her past. Lastly, Takuto turned out to be alive. Eh? Everything at the start was just lies.
It felt as if the ending is rushed just to make a happy ending. Everyone is paired up even though I felt that the way the characters easily hitch with their partners – seems insincere. I was thinking that they remembered their past, wouldn’t that make them into ghosts? Oh well, it started out good but the ending I don’t quite like how it ended. I do like the author’s art though. I guess I don’t quite like how this author develops/ends her stories. I stopped reading Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne midway and somewhat stopped reading Shinshi Doumei Cross after chapter 16. ^^;;
