I was lucky yesterday when I visited the Chinese forum again just to the heck of checking and I found a new chapter of SB! that is still in raw form. I got some of the ah..top 10-20% of each page before it stalls but it is enough to guess what is happening. There is already something about Ren’s past. Based on the pictures, his father must have gotten involved into something perhaps gangsters. That night when his parents looked devastated over something, he was captivated by the moon. He went out to look at it and when he returned, he found men carrying his parents and his brother into the car. Later on, the car was lifted from the river. I guess, that night, his family got murdered. Then, there is a scene of him near a school and he was being befriended there. That’s all I saw there.
Then, there is some scenes of Ren still not being able to do the love scenes or something and Kyouko is getting a bit worried as well as the other cast. This would have been a ‘sad’ chapter if it hasn’t been for Shou. ^_^ Shouko felt it was weird for Shou to be calm after seeing the poster of Dark Moon. She left him in the room. He was quiet calm until his imagination had gone wild. Hehehe He was thinking of Kyouko [old hairdo] making a lunch box for Ren and she was giving a tamago sushi to him, complete with say, “Aahh!” Shou then flips the imaginary table, Ren, Kyouko and food up. Lol. ^^; He tried to be calm again and before long, he is shouting again. Ah..as they [from the forum], he’s cute. Hehehe, guess he is getting jealous.
Back to Ren, the depiction when he was young was that his hair is light colored. They [from the forum] guessed that it is why he is called Corn because of the color of his hair. His eyes are still hidden. I’m guessing the he is half-Caucasian since his mother had light colored hair. Also there was a mention by someone that Ren had become an actor was also for revenge. I’m not quite think it is so for how could he be angry at Kyouko if that was also his reason and he did mention about the futility of having revenge before. Anyway, I’ll get to know better when the Chinese translation is out.
Regarding the raw scans, I noticed that it is like in Comic Fans, wherein the pages are not black and white, instead tinted with another color..here it is violet. The Chinese scans I get are in black and white so that means that they would also alter the colors for it to be black and white and I guess that is also a reason why the Chinese version release is a bit late.
MMR is going to end, I think, this week. Yehey! Flipping channels can be hard for three shows to watch at the same time slot. Before I noticed it, PoT is quite far already. Right now, Seigaku are in a friendly game against Hyotei. Well, in Magic Mi Lu Mi Lu, I noticed that ninja group had a new member. I forgot their names already since it seemed as if it has been a long time since I had watched this. The characters –villains and otherwise- kept on increasing in this series.
Well, in MMR, aside from the fighting that Shinji is doing but his heart isn’t really into it, it was learned that Yui’s parents had locked them [together with Shiro] up in that house before for some unknown reason. It was only when the parents died when Yui was taken by her aunt while Shiro was taken overseas by other relatives. Shuiichi had fainted and I don’t know if he is dead or something since Goro kept on shouting for him to wake up when he should be bringing the Shuiichi to the hospital or even at least checking if the guy is still alive. I’m not sure if Takeshi is still alive for Shinji mentioned about fighting him. I thought Takeshi was toasted. In the mirror world, the monsters had gone hibernating and Shiro said that it is time’s up and they all break out of their cocoon.

Finally!! After all the time, going back to check if there is a new SB! chapter, I finally got it last night. Actually, I did saw it in the forum but somehow, the upload of the scans kept on stopping that I gave up. I tried again to check on the Chinese site and tada, it was there. What can I say but it was good though ah..when I reached the last page, argh, where is the rest?! Another two week wait even though a new chapter would be out this Thursday. I estimated that it takes them about 10-15 days to translate. Oh well, beggars can’t be chosers.
The story started with a dream of Ren regarding the day when he bid Kyouko goodbye and gave her the water sapphire. Ren wondered why he had that dream and thought that it could be because when Kyouko explained to the others how she came up with doing the character. Her explanation was that the character had her face badly scar and she can no longer be a beautiful princess anymore. The scene was funny as Kyouko was tumbling all over the floor over it as the others wondered if she is okay. The director asked Ren if she is all right as Ren tried to tell him that it is okay. Hehehe Ren thought that Kyouko haven’t changed since she still tends to compare life with fairy tales. Then, there is a scene of little Kyouko crying as she say that is sad to Corn/Ren. I wonder if Ren told her of his past before.
Back at the studio, Kyouko was doing a scene, murdering the poor pillow as she terrifies the other actress’s character. I’ll call the other actress as Mei since I don’t know how to read her name in Japanese. Everyone was praising Kyouko’s portrayal even the older actress who played the part before admitted that Kyouko’s version is better. Ren who had just arrived heard it and was happy for Kyouko. The director with Kyouko approached Ren and Yashirou. Ren was suppose to be late since he had a commercial shooting but Ren told them that he went straight to the studio and ate on the way.
When the director left, Kyouko started interrogating Ren what he ate and he said that he ate onigiris. Kyouko started to sermon Ren about it and turned to Yashirou as she tells him to let Ren eat more nutrious food. Something like that. At the side, Mei’s friends are telling Mei about Kyouko talking with Ren again. Mei said that Ren is pretty nice so they can talk to him if they wanted to. Mei told them that she isn’t angry since it is only in the drama that she and Ren are lovers. Guess Mei is pretty professional. ^_^
Back to Kyouko, Kyouko exclaimed when she learned that Ren watched the previous version of their drama and said that she didn’t want to do it since she thought that it might affect her way of tackling the role. Ren said that it won’t be the same since the way Kyouko does the role was very much different. Kyouko isn’t too happy when Ren was hinting that she did the role as if the character was a devil incarnate. I didn’t quite get Ren’s explanation why he watched it. I think it is better to understand the role and that he wanted to be able to do the role just like she did.
Kyouko felt that something is amiss about what Ren had just told her. She wondered why he didn’t watch it before and only just now. She tried to shake away her anxiety over it as she watch Ren and Mei’s scene together. Suddenly, she heard the director shouted cut as he tells Ren that he is still lacking in ‘love’ feeling and it is still the same as before. Kyouko is shocked that Ren had a NG [blooper] as she realized something while Ren looked shocked and worried that he still couldn’t do it. And, it ended there.
In MMR, Shinji is in a bit of confusion if he would still continue the fight. Satoru called the other three for a battle royale but he didn’t came. As the others fought in the mirror world, Satoru splashed gas on their vehicles then went into the mirror world. Monsters came to interrupt the fight between the three. After Shuiichi and Takeshi finished their monsters, Satoru tried to kill Shuiichi but was intercepted by Takeshi. Anyway, they got back to the real world. Takeshi tried to kill Shuiichi but he was saved by Goro. Takeshi tried to escape in the car and it exploded. Meanwhile, Satoru wanders about and thought about his professor telling him that he needed a heart to be a hero. Then, a father and a son whom he thought his professor was crossing the street and was about to be hit by a truck, he saved them and got hit instead. Meanwhile, Shinji decided to fight as he challenges Ren.

I watched Kung Fu Hustle with my brother last Saturday night. The plot is not the same as the one advertised. It said that the main character has to overcome his lack of skill with knives to become a great martial artist but then, nowhere in the film mentioned about his lack of skill with knives. It was just one scene and how he became strong was a bit rushed. My brother complains that it wasn’t satisfying for the main character suddenly became strong just because of that and had easily defeated the enemy – no sweat at all.
I was telling him that maybe it was because they had focused a bit too much on the other parts that they realized, opps, it is almost two hours already so we just rush the ending or maybe they plan to expound on it on the part two which AXN had mentioned about during the promotion of Kung Fu Hustle.
The special effects in the fights are of course, cool. It actually reminded me of anime fights ^^; I know it is really out of this world that it looked like fake but then, the execution somehow pulls it off. As usual, there is still some gross stuff in the movie that Stephen Chow tends to put in his movies. Heck, even the part wherein there has to be this ugly woman in the story. ^^;;
I stayed overnight at brother’s house which turned out to be a mistake since his son is sick [stomachache] and has been having nightmares at night. I was kept awake every hour as he cries every hour. ^^;; Just when I was about to sleep, he cries. Somehow, I managed to get enough sleep when it is almost morning.
I was suppose to go to church with sis in the mid-morning service but I wasn’t finish yet so she left. Bro told me to go with him in the lae-morning service but I decline since I have to meet with Asher at 1130am. It turned out that sis didn’t went to church but was feeding their dogs and forgot about me! ^^;; Later on, I did met with Asher while waiting for her at the bookstore. I read GS manga and I guess lacking sleep somehow made me dizzy while reading ^^;
We ate at Jap resto then walked around at any manga/anime related stores or art gallery stuff stores. Then, compared art works. We even donated a bit for Tzu Chi calamity fund for the Tsunami victims. The Tzu Chi volunteers had covered the whole mall. She lend me Trigun and gave me a set of soft pastels. Arigato! After that, I went to church with sis and her hubby. Sis planned for me to stay at her house but then I was very tired already so I told her that I have to go home so after eating at their house with her hubby’s friends, bro picked me up and ‘delivered’ me home. After washing up, I went straight to bed.
I finally managed to get out of that blasted cave in Star Ocean. The first one was just luck then I went back in to get all the necessary items which weren’t worth it at all and after a few trials before I got out of it again. ^^;; The task now is to go back and save/help the girl/s who saved Fayt and the other guy. I’m still trying to really to know the battle system.
I forgot to mention Grandier. ^^; The last battle wasn’t really something. Rushuna fought with the fake priestess who turned out like her opposite. She was also good with guns. In the end, Rushuna was fed up fighting that she removed all her bullets and ripped the other’s clothes to get rid of the opponent’s bullets. Then, Rushuna just rested on the other’s chest. ^^; Somehow, that was the end. Yajirou fought with jester/clown guy. In the end, Yajirou just shealth his sword and with jester, they fell from that carriage and Touka just destroyed the jester’s gun and he’s dead. That’s it. In the end, they [Rushuna and Yajiour] went to travel again just when something was about to happen, Mikan interrupts as she announces that she is also joining. This is not a very satisfying series. Oh ya, the pervert friend had found this woman, used to be enemy, who had fallen for him.

OP ended in another cliffhanger. This chapter is pretty much about the idea of Going Merry is really a wreck had sunk into Usopp and the one who fixed the ship while at Sky Piea was the ship’s spirit. It ended with the arrival of CP9. Based on the spoilers I read on DN, it could be fun to read it again. Dark Raito/Light is back. Hehehe
In MMR, Shinji is brooding over the death of Sano but was interrupted when Ren got a call from Yui who was freaking out. She is disappearing. They went to her as she told them she saw a child version of herself in the mirror saying that she will disappear on her birthday and that is 1 month away. Yui had told them that they had been drawing monsters as a kid when she was with Shiro. She knew that the mirror world has something to do with her. Ren had realized something.
Suddenly, lots of monsters of the same kind attacks. Ren and Shinji defeated them. When they came back from the mirror world, Ren told Shinji that Shiro had created the mirror world for Yui so that she won’t disappear. They chased after Yui who got scared again when she is disappearing again. She was about to be hit by a truck when Odin appears and hit it away. Odin/Shiro told Yui not to worry for he will handle it. Then, the monsters kept on increasing. Elsewhere, Satoru helped out Takeshi and wanted to do battle with him. Takeshi just wanted to sleep and told Satoru that he was the one who finished off Sano so his powers belong to him. Satoru is in denial over it as he tried to convince himself that he was the one who finished off Sano.
In Star Ocean, I’m a bit stuck at this cavern wherein there is this beast was to carry Fayt and others out of the cave. I kept on going circles. ^^;; It is somewhat frustrating that I’m already cheating to just get out of this place.

It is interesting to observe the constrast of views in a Philippine and a Chinese newspaper as to what is important in regards with the headline. In the Philippine newspaper, it was about the ex-president trying to make the opposition one while in the Chinese newspaper, it is about the possible increase of salary for the workers. I guess the Chinese would really fret about it since increase of salary would mean higher expenses and the business might not keep up.
In MMR, Sano managed to get his wish to become rich and he wanted to quit but Shiro said that once a rider is always a rider. He tried to bribe the others to be his teammate but it backfired at him since the other riders except for Shinji, are selfish and traitors. Satoru attacked him and I think it was Takeshi who finished him off. I confess that I wasn’t watching intently. ^^; It seemed that being in the mirror world in non-rider form is fatal. Sano was calling for someone called Lilly to save him but the girl from the real world just let him die. I didn’t catch the start of the show and it seemed that Yui has become normal again.
As I been playing Star Ocean, I am getting irritated at their voices. I wonder if this is the review I read that the developers could have spend some of their budget in hiring better dubbers. The voices don’t match the appearances. ^^; I had slowered the volume just as not to get so irritated with the voices. Another complaint would be the camera system. I don’t know if it is just me but being able to turn the camera is good but then, I tend to get lost as to where I would be going and if it is the proper one [when pressed start], some of the views tend to be covered. I guess that is deliberate since they tend to keep the chests at those hidden places. I’m still adjusting with the game system of this one. Anyway, this game has multiple endings depending on the ‘personal moments’ with the other characters.
What happened was, after being rescued from an underdeveloped planet, Fayt ended up in another underdeveloped planet in medieval times. ^^; I think he and the others would spend a bit more time here to help the others against this invading country. It seemed that this time they would be traveling from planet to planet as Fayt try to rescue his father and other stuff regarding himself. I think there is something about him that the others are after him.

It has been a long time since I talked about politics and stuff here so here I go. The big news last December was the Tsunami that hit South Asia. My father told me about his friend and family wanted to go to Phuket, Thailand at that time. They weren’t able to go since their tourist guide is sick and other tours a fully book. They were cursing that tourist guide until the tsunami happened, now, they are thanking the tourist guide for being sick or else, they would be dead.
It seemed that natural disasters kept on happening lately. Before the Tsunami, there was this landslide in a province, which killed and displaced a lot of people. It was caused by the typhoon and well, man for they had cut too many tress that could have hold the topsoil. There is now supposedly a total log ban and so, prices of wood/lumber is high lately. Then, there is one now in California.
Our president lately is being paranoid over the predictions that she will not finish her term but then, at the rate of what she is doing lately, it won’t be a surprise if she didn’t get to finish her term. I do notice at a new cast in a local channel, it seemed that the female anchor was not taking her seriously as she read the news, she has this look which somewhat like it was a funny joke or something. ^^; I guess the president doesn’t really have much respect nor well, people tend not to believe her anymore. She is after all, notorious for breaking her promises but then, she keeps her part of the bargains in those who helped her win the elections. An example was the mayor, I think, of a certain province wherein her fiercest opponent got zero votes had gotten a government position. I still think that it is virtually impossible for a candidate, a famous one at that, to have lost in a town, which is his hometown.
Famous jailbirds have recently have their media coverage. The desposed president is now in Hong Kong after having his knee operation, which could have done here. He even brought along his barber with the excuse that the airlines had this buy-one-take-one promo. ^^; One of the reasons why the president is paranoid was when he had his ex-cabinet with him in the hospital. That guy is still in an illusion that he is still the president of the country. Well, his case is still pending so as they say, one is not guilty until convicted. The other one is a ex-congressman convicted of child rape. They are trying to pardon the guy since he has a heart ailment. His mother wanted him to die at home and not in prison. People raised a protest as they say that many other prisoners have life-threatening illness, would they be pardoned too? There is speculation that it was somewhat of a ‘repayment’ by the president for she got lots of votes in his home province.
Lastly, there was this law about no smoking at enclosed areas. A senator made a speech regarding how his other colleagues had been smoking inside the hall. He even said that if they couldn’t respect each other, at least follow the law for this is where that law was made. Bull’s eye. It turned out that among the offenders were the three new actor senators. ^^;; Their excuse is opps, we don’t know. Everyone does it so we thought it was okay. That’s what the people get for voting those three into the senate.
I have just recently watching this Korean drama in Phoenix channel. I discovered when I heard the bgm. It is nice as in, it is obvious that they spend money on it but the stars are not that famous or rather, I haven’t seen them in other dramas except for the older cast. I’m not sure if they are brothers but one of the brothers just got a job at a shipping company, which is a competitor of his father’s shipping company. His mother made his girlfriend go away by telling her that her mother had an ‘affair’ with her husband. Then, the other son had done something so he is hiding. It reminded me of All in. ^^;; From the opening, he will be into boxing. So far, it seems to be okay.
In MMR, Shuiichi and Takeshi have a vendatta against Satoru for trying to kill them. They arrived too late at the lab, which the professor had already closed. Later on, Sano, the raider who wanted to join other groups turned to betray Shinj when he went alongside with Satoru and the professor, trying to kill Yui. Yui freaked out and was somewhat like hypnotized that she had ordered Sano’s monsters to attack them and also Shinji. During the confusion, Satoru took this opportunity to kill his beloved professor for he doesn’t want the mirror world to be closed. The only way he can be a ‘true hero’ is that he defeat all the other riders. Yup, another demented guy who had loose screws.
Yesterday’s episode, Shuiichi and Takeshi finally found Satoru and tried to beat him to a pulp but Satoru had escaped. Sano tried to go back to Shinji but he was pretty angry for Yui is still missing and it was his entire fault for it was his monsters that tried to kill Yui. Elsewhere in some forest, Yui is being surrounded by monsters, which Shiro had managed to stop as he told Yui that she doesn’t belong there. Yui seemed to be still in a trance.

It seemed that FMA has been licensed so the scanlation that I got yesterday could be the last one but then, there is a Chinese scanlation so I’m not too worried about it. Anyway, the story had already slow down. In this chapter, Ed decided to check if the thing they created at the expense of their bodies, is their mother but it turned out that it was nothing like his mother. He is now focusing on just returning his brother Al’s body. Meanwhile, Loki found May, unconscious from hunger, as usual. He tried to steal her stuff but the cute panda bit his hand. Aw, how cute. Anyway, May decided to go with him as Loki said that his ‘servant’ meaning Scar, will find him eventually. In the meantime, Scar has just killed another state alchemist.
In MMR, Shinji’s news agency had already discovered about the mirror world and they are investigating about it. Satoru, the professor’s assistant who is also Tiger raider, kept on attacking people whom he thinks is trying to stop their research. He had attacked Reiko so Shuiichi fought him only for Shuiichi to be helped out by Ren. Ren then learned of Shuiichi’s health condition. Out came this new raider [still didn’t get his name] who tends to attract monsters. He is offering his services to Shinji’s group and the professor’s group. He is so genki and lavish praises on them. Then, he showed them his fighting movies. Shinji was praising him when suddenly, Satoru tried to attack him from behind.
I have started playing Star Ocean: Till the end of time. I continued where I ended before while testing it then forgot how the battle scenes work. ^^; Anyway, the story is pretty much like the previous one. A boy from the future because of some incident, in this one, it is an invasion that he ended up in some underdeveloped planet. He waits to be rescued and in the meantime, he explores the new place. This new one has lot so of different characters as in it is like Star Wars wherein there are lots of different beings and stuff. I don’t think I could even remember everything and what kind of species is like what. ^^;

I had used up the net time from the net card whose company has phase out the giving net cards. I think I got cheated out of 2 hours though. I was timing all of my log-ins and I estimated that I have about 4 hours left. I checked out online their website, it said that I have 2 more hours. Yesterday, I was trying to connect, I couldn’t get through and they told me that I had already used it all up. ^^;; No use complaining when their computer must have malfunctioned or something and I am going out with mom and sis. We just went malling.
Edit: It’s a miracle. I tried that net card again and this time I got connected. I’ll use it up even if it is just in 46kbps. Hehehe I might not be able to connect again if I cut this off.
Today, I got mom to buy me a new net card. The one most people I asked tend to use. Actually, the office of that net card is near our place. I will see if it is okay before I buy more of it to get a discount.
I played the other ending of SH:C and it is pretty much the same. Yuri’s ending is the only one different wherein he lost his memories. I found it funny when Roger claimed to be Yuri’s father. Lol. I think the two endings are ingenious in a certain way. The ‘good’ ending is in case there will be no installment so just play SH1 again to repeat everything. The ‘bad’ ending is in case, there is a new installment. It could be about Yuri trying to gain his memories. Anyway, I tend to like the ‘bad’ ending better.
I’m still a bit indenial about Karin being Yuri’s mother. Maybe she also had amnesia since in the picture, Yuri’s mother name is Anne and was suppose to be Russian. Karin is a German. But then, in the picture, it did look like her and the necklace Yuri gave to Karin actually belongs to Yuri’s mother who if indeed is Karin. It is like a time loop or something. I guess, as other fans would say it is quite unbelievable for Karin who is pretty good at fighting to be easily killed by some random monsters. Anyway, she is indeed a pretty neat character. I tend to use her in the group because she can fight really good and not just do healing like most other female characters in other games.

I came to discover that the site where I get Chinese scanlations tend to be late in SB! since their FB is still at chapter 103 when 104 is already out. No wonder there was a chapter when the official site says there is no SB! at that time and it tends to be out a week before the official publication.
I even went to the forum which does the scans but it is locked and I’m not quite sure yet how to register. ^^;; They already have the raw scans and I’m pretty much curious what had happened but then, all I can do is wait. Perhaps next week there will be scans already.
I had re-subscribed to FB ml just to know what is happening so that I don’t have to dl the scans in the Chinese site. Nothing much is happening for Akito is still bullying his relatives and this time it is Rin. It seemed that Rin claimed to have a way to break the curse and Akito had a fit that she locked up Rin in the cat’s room [place where Kyo will stay in the future, I guess]. Akito cut off Rin’s hair [at least it wasn’t shaved bald] and tried to starve Rin. Hiro told the others that Haru was tricked in bringing Rin back to the house. Haru isn’t happy about that and is walking towards the house. I had skipped a chapter so I don’t know what happened before this. ^^;
I had finally finished SH:C and only later to know that there are two endings. I got what was suppose to be the good ending but it is still..what the heck kinda ending. I even surfed a bit in some forums to determine if what I think happened was what had happened and it is right. The side characters got their happy ending. The two main characters..well..in the good ending, Yuri got killed and met with Alice then he got teleported back to the past before he met Alice to, I guess, relive being with her again. For Karin, she got teleported to the past and Yuri’s father found her. So, she turned out to become Yuri’s mother?! ^^;; Yuri’s mother’s live is sad as Yuri said that she is always alone for his father kept on going missions and got killed by some monsters later on.
Anyway, I will try to see if I saved at the correct part to try to get the supposed bad ending about Yuri losing his memories but then, it was mentioned that Karin still had a bad ending there. ^^;; The first SH followed the bad ending so maybe if there is a third installment for SH, it might follow the bad ending.

I guess my hunch about Grandier ending is right. It will end next Thrusday. I still don’t quite get what is happening. ^^; Rushuna managed to escape with her pervert friend and she was met by the priestess who seemed to have become a villainess. I think she is just an evil twin for the real one was with Yajirou. Mikan has called Touka to help them. That’s it.
I browsed over FY: Genbu Kaiden and it really reminds me of FY. ^^; The lead, Takiko is having some problems in real time Japan regarding her father who is engross in translating the book. She tried to destroy the book and off she went inside the book. There, she met Rimudo, a Ranma-type of character ^^; since when he uses his power, he becomes a she. Obviously, it will be the two of them, which will be the love couple here. Then, there is Tomite who is after Rimudo but ended up guarding Takiko. He is somewhat like Tasuki in behavior but looks like mm..that other guy in AnC. Hehehe, I forgot the name.
Of course there should be a problem with the two lovers. Rimudo is actually a prince whose father wanted to kill him because of a prophecy that Rimudo will kill him when Genby was summoned by the miko. Rimudo has two loyalties. One is with Takiko whom he kept on saving and helping while still going to Kutou [seiryu] country to hide from his father’s assassins. All of this is going on as Takiko is trying to find the other seishi.
The story is okay, I guess and well, the art is pretty much the same as in FY. Sometimes looking at the characters, I can’t help thinking, hey, this one looks like this person and that person. It can’t be helped since that authors tend to draw the same type of characters in different titles. Anyway, this might as well end up as a tradegy for it was mentioned in FY that Takiko became Genbu food.
I had really gotten bored with MMR as more and more raiders just kept on coming and they are fighting. I’ll write about this if there is any new development.

After reading summaries of Hot Gimmick, it somewhat reminded me of Hana Yori Dango. ^^; The bully turned out to have a liking for the girl victim. The other guy whom she had a crush turned out to be using her for his revenge while her brother [not related, I think] seemed to also like her. It sounds like a soap opera. ^^; I won’t be surprise if they make a live action on this one.
This morning, I watched the ending of Winter Sonata and I still don’t like it that much. ^^; I was wondering why they didn’t put a glass on that puzzle so that the piece won’t keep on falling down. Oh well, it must be for effect or that piece wasn’t glued properly. I was also thinking if the guy is blind wouldn’t it be quite useless to be still wearing glasses or was it just an effect so that other people won’t notice? Hehehe, I’m nitpicking on it.
They had advertised Stairway to Heaven again but with no timeslot yet. I’m actually listening now to the soundtrack. I ‘stole’ it from the complete set from cousin. If only Beautiful Days also had a soundtrack tucked in with the drama series. I was comparing a bit on if a guy is losing his sight, he seemed quite calm about it but then, maybe there was a scene about it in Winter Sonata but in Stairway to Heaven, the girl freaking cried her head out on the day she had lost her sight as she tried to call her brother to tell him to bring her to her loved one again to see him one more time. I somewhat fear how they would dub that.
Something to watch out in this drama is the lead guy [Kwon Song Woo]’s shower scene. It really surprised me. Wow, nice body. I noticed that there is a tendency of shower scenes for guys with nice bodies. Fan service, I guess. There are a few [I think] of Rain in Full House and one of Lee Byung Hun in All in. It was in All In, I noticed that Byung Hun was short since the leading actress, Song Hae Gyo was small compared to Rain in Full House when in this series, and they are almost at the same height. I suddenly remembered about Akagi of SlamDunk saying that karate made that other guy who wanted to recruit Hanamichi, short. ^^; Well, he does fight well using kicks and I saw in his profile that he is into taekwondo. Wow, so he did all those kicking stunts in All In? ^_^
Note: I don’t memorized the Korean names. I note them down in a piece of paper. Hehehe Well, of the ones I tend to see often.

After browsing a few more scans of Magic Prince, I decided not to get it anymore. It turned out to have ended at volume 4 but the cover on that one somewhat made me decide not to get it anymore. Love is First [Ren ai Shigo Shugi] turned out to be somewhat of an erotic shoujo manga. ^^;; I finally managed to see some scans today and well, I decided not to get this either. The story is about a girl good in karate that made up with her childhood friend. They have a dare if he won in a fight, she will be his ‘toy’. ^^; Okay...I just read the badly translated Chinese-english summary from the site selling the comic and more or less got the story. It isn’t that extraordinary so it is off the list. I still like the way the author draws her covers.
It seemed that Ren ai is from Shocomi magazine where Fushigi Yuugi and Ayashi no Ceres is also serialized. No wonder there are a lot of those sex scenes there. From the official site, there are some really nice looking pictures. ^_^ They sure draw really handsome and beautiful people. Hehehe Speaking of Fushigi Yuugi, the author has made a new manga on it focusing on the Genbu group regarding their miko.
Hot Gimmick is somewhat the same with Ren ai but this time, the guy is blackmailing the girl so that he will keep a secret and in return, she will be his slave. ^^; The guy with glasses actually reminded me of the guy in the Korean drama Winter Sonata even though I didn’t quite like swoon over him as many women do. He is quite a hit in Japan that his album managed to be number 1 at one time. Anyway, I like the romantic scenes in this manga so I would get this one.
I don’t know sometimes if thinking twice over buying something is good or bad. For there are times when I really wanted to buy something then decided not to only later on to regret it when it is gone. But then, impulsive buying can be bad too like what happened when buying Basara, which is stuck with me. =( That is what I get just because someone in a ml said it is good. After I bought it, that person then retracts what he said saying the last half of the volumes suck and they did.
There are still no SB! scans in sight and I had been getting over work up about it that I dreamt of it the other night and last night. ^^;; The colored page is of Kyoko in her Dark Moon role. I think a new volume might come out soon but there is no release date from the official site yet. I do notice that in the HtY page, they put in Ren’s picture instead of the usual Kyoko picture. I wonder why but then, I’m happy about it. Hehehe
I went to the Chinese doctor this afternoon and deliberately not record MMR. I’m thinking that I’m not going to miss much anyway. Last episode was Ren bonding with Eri and fake Tiger raider was killed off by the real one. The scientist told Shinji to seal the mirror world, they have to kill the Kanzaki siblings and Shinji ponders more about it since he doesn’t really want to sacrifice Yui.

I had spent the whole afternoon surfing as I try to use up all the net time. I was browsing over the new Chinese-translated manga releases when I saw some interesting covers, which look good that I listed all of them down to be bought in case someone goes to Hong Kong. All of it is shoujo and I guess romance is a safe genre. ^^;
Magic Prince is something about a black magic prince going into present time or something. The art is a bit ‘over’ but I guess it is okay. Only 3 volumes out so I could just check if it is an okay series. Love is first is another shoujo manga, which I have no idea what it is about. It is complete at 8 volumes and I’m buying this because of its nice covers. ^^;;
The other two are already licensed in the US. One is Hot Gimmick, which is basically about a girl and three guys. The art and story is okay. It is currently has 9 volumes and still on-going. The other one is Boku to Kanojo no XXX [My and Her XXX] which is by Ai Morinaga, the author of Yamada so I can’t go wrong here. It is basically about interchanging of personalities of a boy and girl. Currently it has only 2 volumes and still on going. I’m beginning to think if I should still get Chrno Crusade. Well, I hope that these are good. ^_^;
It turned out that Sleeping Ren is just a compilation of one-shot stories of Daisuke Moriyama. In the end, the boy twin saved his twin sister and left but is stuck in the body of Ren. ^^; I found another site, which has more of D. Gray-man. I’m not quite sure where the story is headed but it is more of introduction of their world – the exorcists.
In MMR, Shinji rescued Yui from another raider who wanted to kill her. They begin to think that someone wanted to kill Yui. Ren learned that even though Eri is awake, her brain injury is still the same. Ren then decides to fight while Eri learned what Ren is doing the whole time then weakens. Good thing that Shinji was there to help her. Elsewhere, one of the scientists tried to get a job at the café of Yui’s aunt. The story seemed to have slowed down a bit.

Later in the afternoon yesterday, I got a call from the tech support of the net card. I have a week to use up all of time I have left. Sigh, just when I finished downloading all of the scanlations available in Chrno Crusade. I just downloaded the others like Death Note, Gokusen and D. Grayman. The scanlators of DN has finally caught up with the recent Jump release. They finally caught the third Kira. In Gokusen, Shin somehow made me want to still read this one. I was a bit turned off by the art of D. Grayman and the first chapter but then, it turned out that the lady cop isn’t a regular in the series. I still don’t like the sunken eyes look but then, the colored pic in the Chinese site made me want to get it. The English scanlations are only up to chapter 3 which are the ones I got.
I downloaded a bit of Sleeping Ren [Chinese title] from the author of Chrno Crusade. I think this is just a one-shot manga. It is about a shinigami, Ren [pretty Japanese looking girl in school uniform] who was ordered to snuff out the life of Megumi. Megumi [guy] has a twin [Kei - girl]. Ren thought that Kei is a boy so she mistakenly killed the wrong twin. ^^;; Kei freaked out and told her to bring him back to life but it is too late – he was already buried. To compensate, Ren let him use her body to guard his twin in order to protect her since ah..I think she will die anyway. I don’t know where the story is heading but then, this is just the first 30 pages. ^^;
In MMR, it was time-up before Ren and Shinji get to finish their fight. Shuiichi managed to trick Takeshi into going to the police station so he got arrested. Ren is getting desperate that he tried to find more raiders to finish off only to end up with Odin. He was easily outmatched but just when Odin was going to give him the deathblow, Ren managed to stab him. With that, Eri wakes up. Meanwhile Shinji found some scientists who are trying to close the mirror world. They all have a Tiger card. It seemed that the head scientist has a deep hatred for Shiro.
It was big news that Takeshi was captured and they took all of his belongings including his card deck. While being transported, Takeshi managed to get the rhino card from his deck and he used it to call the rhino, which finishes all of the people in the van. They went to a pier followed by Shinji, Yui and Ren. Shinji was the one who fought him as Yui slapped Ren to tell him to stop fighting for Eri has awakened. Ren went to Eri. While Shinji and Takeshi were fighting, the tiger masked raider appeared and managed to defeat Takeshi. Shinji asked the tiger mraider as to how they planned to close the mirror world but he didn’t answer. Takeshi was brought back to the police station unconscious. Shinji and Yui sigh of relief that everything is fine when Yui was being dragged into the mirror world. Shinji quickly tries to go to the mirror world and that is it for the last two episodes.
I had finished watching Il Mare. The two date in two different timeline. They decided to meet in the future but on the day, the guy didn’t appear so she wondered if he could have forgotten about it. When she went to this building and asked about the guy who made the drawing of the building [he is an architect], she was told that the guy had an accident while trying to cross the street. She realized that it was the day when her boyfriend tried to break it off her and she saw someone being hit by a car in the street. That someone was looking at her and it was him. I’m guessing that he wanted to be there for her. She quickly took a taxi to the mailbox and wrote a letter for him to avoid that accident. I think the theaterical release had it with the guy dying and the new one was the guy has read the letter. Thus, in the end, he went to meet up with her and they are together. ^_^

Happy New Year! Hehehe..even though it is a bit delayed. Just had a little panic scare when I called tech support to learn that the net card I’m using has ceased to function just when I bought a few cards of them. I didn’t get the details at first as I panicked. I hate it when I do that. I confirmed it to sis’ hubby and he could still connect and he told me if there is a refund and stuff – maybe I’m jinx. So, I called again. They say that they will refund just return it to where I bought it. They will give me a new access number and details to get connected again to use up the remaining credits that I have. Sigh of relief. I thought I was being swindled but then, it is goodbye if it closed. Just when I just returned a net card [from a different company] to sis, thinking I won’t need it.
On New year’s day, we went out to eat with sis’in-laws and family. We learned that an uncle had a fireworks-related incident. It was a dragon brand of fireworks, which were supposedly from Taiwan. Instead of shooting up, it shoots sideways and badly burned his leg. Good thing he was wearing glasses, which protected his eyes but then, it burned all of his eyelashes. After that, bro and family came to fetch us. We went malling a bit and ate dinner.
While on our way home, my niece and nephew started pleading that I stay at their house for the night. I don’t know when it was when they thought of their aunts as their playmates. ^^; Anyway, after much dramatics and puppy eyes, I finally agreed. That night, I just cross-stitch a bit [was suppose to teach niece but she thought that it was too hard] and hang around with them a bit. They had just bought a new video game so they don’t bother me too much. I slept in their house and good thing that it doesn’t smell as bad as before which turned out to be from a brand of fabric conditioner.
The next day, after going to church, we went malling again in between trips to their house to get some stuff or just putting refrigerated items to their refrigerator before it spoils. I was at home by about 930pm and that ends the New Year weekend.
I had seen this Korean Movie Il Mare (Siworae) in wowow. I don’t understand a thing in regards to what they are saying but I could more or less understand what is happening. It is a nice romantic story. A guy sees a letter in his newly bought home inside a peculiar looking mailbox. It was dated in the future – about 2-3 years later. He checked out the address on the mail and learned that the building where she lives in hasn’t been built yet. He answered back and the lady who wrote the first letter was amused. Soon, they will be exchanging letters then moved on to exchanging things. It is pretty romantic even if the story unfolds a bit slow.
The scene where I stopped watching since we are leaving is when the guy has met the girl in a train station. He doesn’t know how he will approach her since he might be thought of as a stalker/lunatic, when he says that they know each other in her future or something like that. From a review, the ending is sad that they altered it a bit that made it a bit hard to understand in the dvd release or something. I do hope I understand though. ^^;
Last night, I finally got to watch Omnyouji 2. It is a bit about this monster that is attacking people and a shaman type guy who can cure people. It turned out that it is related to this lady archer who had powers of curing. The shaman type wanted to seal in a 8 headed serpent into his son? but it got split and was given to the archer girl when they were still young. The girl escaped as the mother? got killed kill evil shaman. In the end, archer girl became a goddess and freed the son who was being transformed to a monster by the shaman guy and left shaman guy all alone. Abe [the lead] and his sidekick seemed like the observers of this story and perform ceremonies so that the girl could do what she is suppose to do. Anyway, I didn’t quite get ending since Abe is the one who was unconscious and when he woke up, the shaman guy was the one who died. ^^;;

 Friday, December 31, 2004 @ 12:04 p.m.
We went to a cousin’s son’s birthday party. We were fetch by a cousin who is a bit ‘slow’, his mother and photographer cousin. Photographer cousin is lazy that he doesn’t want to drive so my parents have to dread the other cousin who is just learning to drive manual. He said that he knows the place to go there and so we let him be as photographer cousin who was suppose to be the guide kept on taking pictures of everything – traffic, buildings, etc.
Later on, we realized or rather photographer cousin realized that we are going in a different direction as in the opposite direction of the place we were suppose to have a party. I guess it was partly my mistake in telling mom to let cousin drive since he said he knew the place. I was actually thinking of going to sis’ house. ^^;; Anyway, we have to go back and came there a bit late but then, not so late as the other relatives. It was only later at night I realized that the cousin was thinking of going to that cousin’s house [whose son is the celebrant] since he mentioned that he went there before to get some fishes.
So, we managed to get there safe and sound as my parents are mentally swearing that they would not ride a car being drove by that still learning cousin again. It was a buffet food but then since it is mass-produced, the taste is affected that I couldn’t quite eat at all. I guess I’m just being picky for others ate a lot. Photographer cousin is snapping pictures as we grin and pose while at the back of our minds, we are thinking that the pictures won’t be printed anyway.
We were suppose to go to sis’ house since niece and nephew were itching to play with us. I don’t know who – either this uncle or whiner aunt [gomen, Asher, my mom’s version is uncle while sis’ version is whiner aunt. ^^; ] said that he/she wanted to go to see sis’ house. So, along with other uncles, aunts, and other cousins went to see sis’ house. I guess we [my parents and I] don’t know how to judge sis’ house for all of them are amazed at how nice and pretty it was especially the narra [wood] was made for the doors and the floors. We thought it was just ordinary. ^^;
After they left, we played with niece and nephew then went to eat at a restaurant wherein bro, later on, joined us. He drove us home and that ends the day that was yesterday.
I had finished downloading all of Chrno Crusade scanlations that is available and it is left hanging. Argh. It is halfway-finished for it was scanlated up to 5 volumes and it is all 8 volumes. I’m contemplating about buying this manga to get it over with. The story is much better than I expected. The twists are revealed already but then, the way the story is presented is okay. I’m not sure I would want any of the characters to die though even the villains for they are quite intresting, too except well, the two who doesn’t look all that nice.
It was only now I realized that a certain pic I saw before of a girl and guy meeting at a fountain turned out to be siblings and not lovers as I first thought. It was from this series and I was thinking if it was connected to the game, Chrono Tigger or Chrono Cross based on that picture before but don’t recall seeing this scene before. ^^; It seemed that this was already animated but they diverted from the plot hence making it really bad. I read they also made Rosette somewhat of a damsel in distress. I wonder if this is the only case for her or would Ellie from Rave be also be the same case. Anyway, it took me almost the whole afternoon to finish downloading it. I even asked bro to scratch me a net card since I couldn’t wait for sis to bring me some. We had bought all of his net cards already – we were his only customers for net card, actually.
In MMR, I wasn’t able to see how Shinji managed to convince Megumi about coming out of the mirror world. It seemed that Shiro is forcing the others to fight, as there is a scene wherein Yui seemed to be disappearing. Shuiichi’s illness is starting to affect him that he found Takeshi and they fought. Eri’s life is getting short so it forces Ren to fight Shinji to help extend her life. Shinji got a survive ‘power-up’ card from Shiro and he will fight Ren.
There was no Grandier last night and I wonder if it was the same as last week since the blog which notes on animes shown in Jap haven’t mentioned the other episode that I had missed. It was pre-empted to show two movies on Battle Royale, which is basically about teens killing each other. The scene I saw was a girl in glasses shooting at other girls then the other girls shoot back at her. All that was left was a timid girl. They have collar necklaces, which could be the cause for them to fight for their lives. I guess it is the type that will explode if they try to escape. The last scene of the first movie was three kids escaping the island after killing off, who seemed to be a PE teacher. I didn’t bother watching the second movie.

 Wednesday, December 29, 2004 @ 10:08 a.m.
I saw this manga in a Chinese scanlation site but because of very slow connection, I just tried looking for a summary of the story which looked good based on the cover. I ended up finding the past work of the author. The title is Chrno Crusade. Hehehe, I had seen this in that site too, before. ^^; Anyway, I downloaded a few chapters and I like it. ^_^
The story is about a nun named Rosette who is fights monsters/demons using a gun with special bullets. With her, is Chrno, a kid demon but it is already hinted that there is some sort of a contract between them. Like Tsuzuki, Rosette has a tendency to blow up places where she is assigned. The first chapter is an introduction while the second one is a hint about Chrno. The third and fourth is trying to save this girl with special powers and a guy who knows Chrno. The art is good enough and the chracters are okay. I’m itching to get the next chapter but with only a few net time left, argh. I have to buy a net card soon.
In MMR, Takeshi was just using the girl as his bait, according to him for the trio monsters. He was the one who defeated them all and got to feed his three pet monsters. The only plot development here was that Reiko was investigating about Shiro when his former professor disappeared just when Reiko was about to ask something important. He was probably killed or well, eaten by Shiro’s pet monster. The last scene was Megumi, Shuiichi’s ex-secretary, wanting to be in the secret investigation after seeing Shinji coming out of the glass window.

My niece had stayed here for two days. She just left a moment ago. I could say that it was productive for her since she learned how to sew, got a new pair of high-heeled step-ins and baked a chocolate cake with my assitance. I guess it was lucky that I melted the chocolate properly this time and it tasted good, according to her, even if we don’t have vanilla. I knew I had already found the vanilla I had before that has gone missing when I was baking a recipe given by Unicorn and now it is missing again. I think I should buy a new bottle.
I didn’t get to watch the start of MMR but it is basically, Takeshi supposedly saving this girl as Shinji and Ren doubted that he really did save her. There are three monsters and they failed to defeat the trio who escaped by jumping overboard. Takeshi then also retreated. Mm..I don’t know if this is just a filler episode or something is going to happen plotwise.
I have been watching this Korean drama – Thousand year love [in Chinese]. It is about a Korean warrior princess who loved a certain soldier and there is this lord who loved her. The lord had killed the soldier and tried to get to the princess. She decided to commit suicide by jumping down a cliff. Somehow, there is a time warp there that she ended up in the future. She was found by some gangsters. She managed to defeat them and escape and bumps into the reincarnation of the soldier. Poor her, he doesn’t recognize her and thought that she is crazy and a bar girl after by the gangsters.
The lord was reincarnated into a Jap-Kor manager of a company who had visions of the princess and he even bought a painting of her. The soldier is somewhat of a dressmaker for bargirls’ outfits. ^^; Of course, the love triangle is on the princess trying to convince the solider that they used to be lovers while the lord is trying to make the princess like him. It is more or less a contiuation of their love triangle. Plotwise, it seemed interesting but then, the story isn’t moving that much. I don’t like the cast either. ^^;;
Ban: Next, you’ll be wondering why you are still watching this show.
Hehehe...well, if I’m bored with it, I can just drop watching it. ^_^; I do change channels from time to time in case there is something better in other channels.

I just realized that I didn’t get to watch Grandier last Thrusday. ^^; I am thinking if Buzz Beater will replace it or South Park. Anyway, I watched Shukumei last night. I didn’t get it. ^^; It started out with the father of the groom dying after the wedding ceremony and tries to say something. Then, there is this murder wherein the main suspect was the groom. In the end, it was just some assitant of mad scientists who experiment on mental patients one of which was the mother of the groom. I’m not sure if it was being implied that the groom and the cop were related or whatever for in the end, it was the cop who was crying over some revelation by the groom. Weird story.
The two leads are okay to look at but I do miss Naohito’s smile so I watched the concert of Naohito after this drama. It was much better – aside from he smiles a lot here...melts...hehehe I thought he is into hard rock but then, his voice doesn’t suit that. It is a bit more on soft rock and a couple of ballads. His songs are nice and easy to catch on as in somewhat fun. He also seems to have a sense of humor for he made his fans – mostly girls – laugh. It is just a special concert for Shukumei and he sang the theme song for it.
It is pretty obvious that he is a pretty much informal guy since he is just wearing a t-shirt, black pants and what seemed to be sneakers. I don’t know if he really knows how to play the piano for he is just playing chords but he does know how to play a guitar. Anyway, overall, it was a fun and enjoyable concert though a tad short that I couldn’t stare enough what kind of pendant he is wearing. Hehehe Actually, I’m quite curious what his twin looks like.
Then, I saw an ad on this Taiwanese movie channel regarding the anime they will be showing. It is mostly old anime but the continuation of Naruto, and HxH and there is KnGB. I guess I can watch there the missing episodes of KnGB. Then, there is Kung Fu Hustle from Stephen Chow, which looked cool and well, stupidly funny. ^^;; I’m not sure if I would want to watch this in a theater or just wait for the dvd. Obviously it was a great hit that I think I heard there are plans on making a part two. They had a bigger budget now so the cg is more spectacular than in Shaolin soccer but the plot is pretty much the same – a wannabe hustler became expert.

I went back home yesterday afternoon after we had lunch with sis’ mother-in-law’s relatives. Sis and her husband stayed at our house for a while so he played PS2 as usual while sis and I made dinner – lasagna. I had asked mom to buy the ingredients since we had some parsley, which I got from the roasted chicken gift from the family reunion before. Hehehe.
In OP, Lucci and the others are trying to find Franky when just in time, his lackeys were shouting for the Straw Hat Pirates to rescue their friend. Lucci took this opportunity to find where Franky is. At Franky’s place, Usopp told them that he and the Straw Hats Pirates are already separated. It was then revealed that Franky is some sort of musician so now, together with Paulie, he could be also a new member candidate.
Franky would forget everything since they stole the money from them and that he would get Usopp as his subordinate. Usopp refused for he is still a pirate. It was also mentioned that the Water City is sinking every year and that the sea train was made by Tom. Then, Usopp mentioned that after fixing the ship he will try to sail back to East Blue. That was when Franky said that it would be impossible and he would want to dismantle Going Merry.
I would be expecting SB! about next week or so and since the last chapter was 60, there could be a colored page on the next chapter. ^_^ Something to look forward to – hopefully, next chapter would be fun. Hehehe Then, by February, Buzz Beater will be shown in wowow. If we still have that channel by then, that is really something to watch out for. I read it online before and it was okay.

Merry Christmas to all! I’m still at sis’ house. The purpose I went here wasn’t done for it turned out that their Christmas tree was too tall for their house. It would have to be put in a not so good place so they decided not to put it up. The party the other night turned out to have lots of kids. I spend the time going to the rooms that are not filled with people or just trailing sis while smiling at the guests of whom I don’t remember the faces with their names. ^^; Anyway, I managed to survive it with a few bucks richer. Hehehe
Yesterday, I just ate lunch with sis’ family then her husband played Santa as we went to the houses of his godchildren to give gifts. We went back to their house and just bum here. I did finished Sang Doo goes back to school drama in fast forward mode. Hehehe
It was not that good and the interesting character here was the mother of the child Sang Doo thought was his for her hardships was far more different than the main characters. The story as a whole is basically Sang Doo running after his childhood lover and by the end, she does the running after. It somewhat reminded me of Full House. ^^; The doctor who was also in Lovers in Paris seems like he is re-doing this role for this one as the rejected guy by the main character. The mother of the child who likes Sang Doo turned out to be the daughter of the woman who took care of the leading lady.
It started when the mother wanted to die together with the daughter but the daughter was scared so she left her on the doorsteps of a house, telling her that her father is inside and will take care of her. While at the beach, the mother saw a little girl with no mother. The girl clung to her so she decided to take her of that one. It was years after that she is now berating her own daughter – she doesn’t know that it was her own daughter. The daughter was very angry for it turned out that her father wasn’t living in that house anymore so she had to live a harsh life to survive. Since Sang doo is pretty nice to her, she decided to make him as the father of her child.
She became more angry when it turned out that other daughter was also chasing the guy – Sang Doo, too. It was soon found out that he was not the real father but then, it didn’t matter to him for he did took care of her. The ending was Sang Doo getting caught for being a gigolo – tricking rich women to get money from them. He had enough funds to help the daughter while the mother managed to post an ad for someone to marry her with the condition to pay off her daughter’s medical bills and her mother’s store bills since she stole the money there. The one who answered the ad was a father and son wherein the son is also named Sang Doo and he was fond of her.
And so, after a year, Sang doo was released and after a really stupid accident caused by the two lovers – I don’t know who to blame – Sang doo who snubbed her or the girl for crossing a busy street. ^^; The mother now has a new family with the daughter now cured and had a new baby daughter living with the guy who had a son. Sang Doo and the leading lady lived really far away in some province as teachers. That’s it. Oh ya, the doctor just visit the little girl at times but that seemed to be unnecessary but since they paid the guy, what the heck, just put him in the scene. ^^;;
In MMR, it seemed to be filler episode time focusing on Shuiichi. I begin to wonder if they would kill him sooner or later or since it is summer, it is too hot to be in costumes doing fight scenes. The first one is on blind dates and the trio – Shinji, Ren and Shuiichi are investigating the reason for the missing girls – Reiko and the other one. It turned out to be an ex-employee of the Ore journal who got eaten by the monster. They saved the girls and defeated the monster. On the second episode, there is this ex-secretary of Shuiichi who wanted to marry him and said that she is dying. After a lot of corny scenes and such, it turned out that she just had low blood pressure. Shuiichi is relieved but to the others shock, it turned out that she will become a member of the Ore journal.

I am at my sister’s house now. I might be staying here for the night. I was ‘caught’ this morning when they went to my house to pick up some things they had bought. Her father-in-law asked when I would be fixing their Christmas tree. I wasn’t able to do it before since her husband still had a cold. And so, I went with them.
It turned out that they have a party tonight. They bought chairs and other stuff for tonight’s party. It is pretty funny since I ended up being in a party when I don’t usually like going to parties. Anyway, I think I heard about a certain ampao for going here. Hehehe.
I called the cellphone provider early morning. I could get another sim card as replacement for the one I had stupidly ruined. I couldn’t help but laugh when the operator mentioned a penalty of 500 bucks for which she doesn’t know what it is for. In total, it is 770. I brought the sim and I guess bro will have it replaced. Guess this means business must go on.
All In’s ending was okay though it seemed a bit abrupt. The lead just foregone everything and still treat his friend as his friend even after all the things that had happened. His dream is simple anyway. It is just to live in a house with his loved one for he wasn’t really interested in riches and stuff, which tends to land him into trouble for gangsters are always involved. His friend finally told the girl the truth and so, the two got together again and he promised not to go gambling again.
Sang Doo Goes Back to School seemed interesting at first but as it finishes, I find it a bit shallow. Sang Doo has a childhood sweetheart but somehow, when they grew up, he got someone else pregnant. That someone abandoned the child and now, she has returned for she regret what she did. Sang Doo found her childhood sweetheart who is now a teacher and has a boyfriend who was a doctor, a doctor of Sang Doo’s daughter. I guess this is just light romantic comedy. Sang Doo was played by Rain. He was also the lead in Full House. His mannerisms are pretty much the same so I guess that means, he can’t really act? ^^; Anyway, the boyfriend is the one in Sweet 18 and the nephew in Lovers in Paris. My mom found it pretty childish that she doesn’t bother watching it.

Argh, I made a boo-boo that could possibly made me lost 2t. I just left a peso load for my other cellphone and thought that it was enough not to be disconnected but it turned out that it is considered as no load. That phone got disconnected and so goes the 2t I had still left in there for my sideline. I can just only count the profit and well, I had more or less break even so it wasn’t a total loss. This happens just when I was thinking of no longer using this phone. I guess that just made the decision for me though I’m a bit depress over this. Sigh.
I had almost finished All In. Overall, it is okay. Since the subtitle is in Chinese, I don’t really understand much about the business but it is more or less like the rival channels or cellphone companies here – get the most customers in bidding, etc. The main character’s life is filled with ups and downs. His downs are mostly caused indirectly by the one whom he called friend. They kept on destroying his ‘current way of life’ but fortunately for him, he had lots of luck. Tonight, I’ll watch the last disc.
In MMR, just when I was thinking about some bystander seeing them change. Ren was seen changing into a masked rider by a kid. He left Eri to Yui. Then, after knowing that Eri is fine, the kid wanted to know some tips on how to be a masked rider. Ren decided to show him as they [Shinji, Goro and the kid] watch while holding Shinji’s card deck. Ren defeated the enemy when Shuichi and Takeshi join in the fight. The kid decided not to be a masked rider as Shinji told him that fighting is bad. There is a cut, I think, for there was a scene wherein Yui was destroying the mirrors in the house and Shiro tried to stop her. Yui decided to sever ties with Shiro.
At the masked rider fights, Odin [Shiro] challenges to fight the one who defeat all the others in order to steal the power of the last one. Reiko met with Yui to tell her that Shiro had already died. In today’s episode, Odin managed to easily defeat all of them then uses a time card to bring them to the past then present. I’m wondering if this is just a recap episode. ^^; Anyway, Shinji tried to change the past but failed to do so. He was brought to the present and managed to hit Odin. Odin left and Shiro was in the house, instead of the picture of Yui and him being torn when he tried to lift it up, it was still whole. Then, he said that he will always protect Yui and everything is now fine.

It was a good thing that I was watching the local channel earlier to finally get to watch the first episode of GSeed. It turned out that MMR was shown first before GSeed. The battle between powered up Ren and Takeshi was a tie. Shinji is interested as to what makes Shuiichi to fight so he ended up being his babysitter for the day while Goro is out. Shuiichi got threatened by this guy and a monster was after that guy so they decided to follow him. As usual, poor Shinji gets beaten up and always being bullied by and because of Shuiichi.
They managed to defeat the monster of the day. Elsewhere, Yui doesn’t believe what her brother said and still wanted to investigate. Ren accompanies her. Yui said that she wanted to visit Eri first. It was there when Yui learned that Eri was Ren’s girlfriend. Then suddenly, Eri’s condition worsen. I wonder why I was thinking that it was caused by Yui. ^^;; At the news room, Reiko is still investigating the disappearances of Takeshi and while looking at the jail camera, she saw the reflection of Shinji on this small metal cabinet.
I’m still doing some side quests in SH:C. I had finished the Joachim’s. It was really ingenious that is a bit ah..well. At first, I kept on making mistakes then I watched the meeting of Joachim and his master. The punishment was to let the winner receive the other guy’s manhood. I misunderstood it at first since I’m just guessing from Yuri’s reaction of being grossed out. It was on the second time of playing when I got it. ^^;; It is actually making love between those two. Okay, I guess that confirms Joachim’s gender. I think I have two more side quests – Black Forest with them talking flowers and the Inugami cave to get Kurando’s second fusion.
The blog picture originally contains three girls. I had removed the other girl since she doesn’t seem to be contributing to the story and re-did the background. I had shown it to sis and she said that it is the two of us.
