I usually write about the manga that I'm currently reading. At times, I write about the anime/tv shows I watched and the PS2 games I played. Since it is hard to share and talk my thoughts about a certain manga series when people don't know about it, I tend to summarize them from Chinese scanlations so beware, this blog is filled with spoilers and they are not 100% perfect. Feel free to point out my mistakes. Occasionally, I would blog about myself and other misc. things. ^_^

Go back to Gokurakuin household and get married...^^; Flashback: Yuuga tells Towako since she ran away, she should stay at his house for a while. But to their surprise, upon arriving at Towako’s house, Towako’s parents appeared and were rejoicing. They shouted that he pass. It seems according to the family rule, they can be together if they mutually agree to get married to each other. End flashback. Towako is showing Yuuga all sorts of kimono she would wear after the ceremony. Yuuga is all grumpy and in shock as to how things ended up that way. Yuuga is already dressed up in a groom kimono. Towako is really thrilled that Yuuga looks great in his outfit that she takes pictures of him on her mobile phone. Yuuga gets a bit irritated by that. He still in shock that after meeting her parents, he is asked to fill in the marriage contract. He wonders isn’t it too fast that even his mother whom he called said that’s great, but I can’t go to the wedding ceremony, sorry, though telling me on the phone..etc. While Yuuga is thinking about this, Towako begins to become uneasy for she knows that Yuuga doesn’t want to get married though they did kissed. She would agree to getting married to Yuuga and she is really happy but.. Tsubaki opens the door and says that Setsuna-sama has arrived. Setsuna comes in and congratulates his sister. Towako happily greets Setsuna and asks how is his health. Setsuna says he is feeling well. Yuuga wonders who Setsuna is. Towako introduces Setsuna to Yuuga as her younger brother who is younger by a year. Setsuna is adopted so he doesn’t have any blood relation to her. Since he is sickly, he is always at the sanatorium. Yuuga greets him, how are you. Much to Yuuga’s irritation, Setsuna snubs him and tells Towako that he has brought her favorite flowers. Towako thanks him and says he remembered. Sparkling, Setsuna says anything about his sister, he knows everything. Yuuga is surprised and thought what did he say, really, this younger brother is quite irritating. Towako’s mother tells Setsuna to come and greet the guests. She also tells Towako to already get prepared. Towako quickly leaves, leaving Yuuga alone with Setsuna.
Yuuga is then surprised by the dark aura that Setsuna is emitting. He says, Yuuga Komotou, what do you think of my sister. Yuuga is all confused by what he meant. Setsuna says earlier, Yuuga rejects the idea of getting married but now, he agrees to become his brother-in-law. Is it because of our property/wealth or is it because of sis’s beauty. This angered Yuuga as he shouts what are you saying! Facing him, Setsuna tells him no matter what, I will never acknowledge you. I think I’m a better match for sis compared to you. This surprises Yuuga. Towako comes back and says she forgot her mobile phone. Setsuna turns around, sparklingly smiling and says, is this it. He giver her mobile phone to Towako. Yuuga is shock over Setsuna’s switch of character. He becomes even more shock as he sees Setsuna faking a cough to make Towako concern about him. While Towako is asking if he is alright, Setsuna glances at Yuuga then hugs Towako saying if it is like this, he is alright. This made Yuuga quite angry and jealous as Setsuna is taunting him. Towako is saying that Setsuna is always like that. Yuuga can’t take it anymore that he quickly grabs Towako away from Setsuna. Towako is puzzled and is shock to see Setsuna really angry. She wonders why he is angry when he wasn’t like that earlier. She asks him what is the matter. Setsuna says it is nothing. She says that he wasn’t like that before, did she do anything wrong. Yuuga says it isn’t like he lost his temper. Towako can only wonder what’s wrong. Tsubaki has trouble fixing Towako’s hair as she kept on moving and shouting, you are really angry, so tell me the reason, why!! This is a very important ceremony when the two of them will go together..if it wasn’t, then it has no meaning. Tsubaki finishes Towako’s make-up and dressing her up. Her mother is really thrilled for Towako.
Towako goes out to the hallway where Yuuga is waiting. Yuuga is surprised by her appearance. Towako asks how does she look. Blushing, Yuuga turns away and says it’s okay. This made Towako furious for he isn’t looking at her. She bursts in anger and shouts, I’m really angry, what’s with that attitude, aren’t you finished being agitated? Don’t be gloomy all by yourself! If you want to say something, say it! Isn’t it better to just say it! Yuuga says he has nothing to say. Towako exclaims if he doesn’t want to get married to me then just say it! Yuuga is surprised and holds her face. He says wait a minute, who said that. Then the two goes, huh? Yuuga bends down and says he is disappointed. He is angry with himself. He has already prepared himself to come there but she has already come to him. He wanted to get to know them more before getting married but things get out of hand that he wonders what is he doing because it seems that they are just ‘forced’ to get married by others. Holding her hand, he says that he really wants to marry her and it is not because of the reason that others think. I want to marry you because this is the only way that I can be with you. Yuuga looks away embarrassed. Towako exclaims does he mean that no matter what, he wants to be with her. Yuuga angrily says that is too frank, she already knew so she doesn’t have to say it out loud. Towako bends down to him to as they both hold their hands together. Our hearts feelings are the same, wanting to be with each other, so from now on, the two persons will become one, always. Setsuna looks at them from a window. A flashback of young Towako and Setsuna playing. Towako told Setsuna not to leave her. Even when they grow up, they will be together, always. End flashback. Setsuna’s ninja boy says everything is ready. Beside ninja boy is a jar of wine.
A week ago, my dream is longing for marriage and longing for happiness. But now, I’m not dreaming of it anymore, I feel a bit of bitter happiness. The current me, my own heart, was discovered by this person. The ceremony has already started. It is now time for the ceremonial wine drinking. [Drinking the wine is a sign that the marriage vows are sealed.] As they drink the wine, they suddenly fall unconscious on the floor. This surprises Towako’s mother and the others but Setsuna smiles over this. Towako narrates that she doesn’t like being alone, and wants someone to be with her but this isn’t the reason why she likes Yuuga. Everyone fusses about as to what had happened – was it the wine, should they call the police. Towako wonders what had happened as she can’t feel her body and her mind has become hazy that she hardly think. Yuuga who is barely conscious, sees Setsuna picking up and carrying Towako. Setsuna tells his parents not to worry for it is better to just bring them to the sanatorium rather than call the doctor. There, they can recuperate better. He tells them that they have things to do there [probably to entertain guests] so he will personally bring Towako. Setsuna leaves with Towako while ninja boy carries Towako. Setsuna is smiling but he can hardly carry Towako. Utsugi, ninja boy, asks him if he can carry Towako alone. Setsuna says he won’t let Utsugi touch his sister. Utsugi protests that Setsuna isn’t used to carrying heavy things.
Yuuga is on the floor as he hears someone calling, wake up, Yuuga-sama. He opens his eyes to see Tsubaki. He sits up and asks where he is. He realizes that he is handcuffed. Tsubaki frees him and says that this is Setsuna’s sanatorium. She tells him that they have drank a drug put in by Setsuna. She tells him to follow her for she has already taken care of the guards. Yuuga is surprised to see two huge piles of unconscious people who were beaten up by Tsubaki. Yuuga thought she is really amazing. Yuuga feels his body is still numb. He asks Tsubaki what does Setsuna plan to do and where is Towako. Tsubaki says she fears that Towako-sama is in Setsuna’s bedroom. She tells him that Setsuna has always secretly liked Towako but Towako nor their parents have not realized this. Today, he had thought of a plan. Yuuga asks what does she mean. Tsubaki says he has been waiting for this opportunity because there is a secret family rule that while one isn’t married yet and is still pure, you can live in [or have sex] with that person. Yuuga shouts what, don’t joke around! Flashback: Young Setsuna is on bed as young Towako introduced herself. She told him that from today on, she is his sister. She even showed him a picture of Yuuga whom she will marry and he surely will be a gorgeous guy but it is only when she is 18 years old when she can see him. But now, since Setsuna is there, she won’t be lonely. The scene changes to a snowy day, Towako cannot believe that Yuuga has to leave her for they need to bring him to a place where his health will be better taken care of. Setsuna sadly looked back as Towako angrily in the verge of tears, asked if he really needed her. End flashback. Semi-conscious, Towako is lying on the bed as Setsuna apologizes for making her so lonely. He has changed her bridal clothes to a plain robe. Looking dark, Setsuna holds Towako up and says that he won’t let her be alone again.
As he was about to kiss her, Towako asks what about the ceremony, where is Yuuga. He hugs her and asks why does it have to be that guy, that guy is nowhere like the one that Towako has always thought of. Why would she choose to be with Yuuga. If you are lonely, then I am here. If you hate being alone, then I am here. I need you, sis so.. Towako thought, this is not..my head is heavy..my body won’t move..I don’t know what’s happening..that what I do know is.. Setsuna has loosen the belt on Towako’s robe and is about to kiss her neck when Towako tells him it isn’t so, Setsuna, what loneliness, what hate being alone, it isn’t like that..I won’t want anyone else, only one person, I only want Yuuga. Towako senses that she is passing out. To Setsuna’s shock, Towako changes into a chibi. She became like her father ^^; Setsuna freaks out as Towako stands up and closes her robe. Setsuna recalls when Towako was young, she also become like this after drinking wine so does it mean when she is drunk, she becomes like that. She did have three drinks during the ceremony. Setsuna doesn’t want to be deterred by this, even if she is like this, his love for her won’t change. Towako gives him a look which reminds Setsuna of their father. He starts to prostrate and bow to her. He cries and asks for his father’s forgiveness. Utsugi comes in and says that there’s a problem. Setsuna asks what is it. Yuuga, together with Tsubaki, enters the room as he shouts for Setsuna to stop his foolishness. Yuuga wasn’t able to finish what he is saying as he is stunned by the scene of Setsuna in tears, prostrating and loose robe in front of chibi Towako. Utsugi is tense that they are there. Confused, Yuuga asks Tsubaki if that is Towako. Tsubaki says it is. Chibi Towako goes to him and hugs him. Yuuga pats her head and said, nice, nice. Poof, she changes back to her original form.
Yuuga carries unconscious Towako and tells Setsuna that they are leaving. He warns Setsuna not to do this kind of thing again. Setsuna asks, why is it you? I had loved sis earlier than you. I knew sis better than you. You were only born on the same time as her. Yuuga says, it has nothing to do with that. Liking a person, there is no need for a reason. Do you want me to forcibly take her away. Even if for that nonsense reason [being born at the same time] or the family rule, if it is necessary, I will follow it [for her]. Setsuna remembers what Towako told him that it isn’t about being lonely or hate being alone. Narration: There is no reason, it isn’t because of the family rule, it is the heart’s wish. Towako wakes up and finds herself inside the car and Yuuga sleeping beside her. She wonders what happened to the ceremony, why has she changed to an ordinary robe and it seems as if she had a strange dream. She rubs her eyes and is surprised to see a wedding ring on ring finger of her left hand. She looks over Yuuga and sees the ring cushion on his hand. His ring is still on it. She happily takes his ring from the string and puts it on his finger while Yuuga is still sleeping. I’m in love...let’s continue life with my first love. She happily holds his hand while she sleeps again. So, on August 20th, ojousama has become a oyomesama.
Hehe, it turned out that Yuuga’s mother does know he is getting married. She seems to be quite aloof and uncaring that she isn’t going to her own son’s wedding. ^^;; I guessing the author haven’t thought of how to draw her yet. Even as things are happening fast, it is a good nice that Yuuga’s reason for marrying her is because he likes her and not because of the tradition. I think he also doesn’t want to lose this chance to be together with Towako because who knows what will happen if he didn’t agree. It’s nice that both of them know the real reason why they are getting married. ^-^ I find him really amusing when he was jealous over Setsuna. Hehe Towako didn’t know that the two are fighting as in not in good terms because of her. I kind of think that Setsuna is also lonely that he begins to harbor romantic feelings for Towako. Unfortunately for him, Towako already has Yuuga whose picture, she is infatuated with. I don’t know whether to find Towako turning into chibi funny or corny. ^^;; Oh well, I guess the author is saying not to take this story too seriously and just enjoy it. Hehe, it is funny. I find Tsubaki really cool that she is able to beat up all those people. Not only can she is good in fighting, she can dress up and put make-up on Towako. Talk about all-around. Hehe I do wonder why did she wake up Yuuga first before freeing him. So that there won’t be a misunderstanding? Well, they finally got married so, what’s next..well, what comes after the wedding? The honeymoon. ^-^ Hehe, will things go smoothly? Of course not, else, there won’t be any story to tell. =P

Kotori looks at Yukito in surprise as she recalls him saying that he likes her. She starts to blush and looks down. Yukito is a bit embarrassed and says, say something. He looks closer at her that Kotori gets even more embarrassed that she pushes him away and shouts, No! Yukito gloomily says, so she doesn’t agree. Waving her hand, Kotori says that not it, I want to say..I want to say..ah.. Yukito hugs her to him and asks, you like me? Blushing, Kotori says, yes. Yukito smiles and says that’s great. Still hugging each other, they wonder what they should next or even what to say. After some time, Kotori’s stomach grumbles so Yukito says how about we eat first. Kotori agrees. Kotori thought that she didn’t thought that she actually like Yukito but now, she realizes she does. They were eating at some fastfood chain. Yukito is eating French fries while Kotori is sipping some soda. They are sitting beside each other. Yukito angrily complains that Kotori should sit at the opposite side. Kotori says she doesn’t want to. Yukito asks why. Kotori says that she doesn’t want to see his face. This made Yukito gloomy as he was shock by what she said. Kotori tries to explain that isn’t what she meant but she is nervous if she sits opposite of him and she doesn’t want him to see her weird expression. Because we just kissed. Kotori then makes a loud slurping sound for she has already drank up the whole soda. Kotori felt embarrassed by it. Yukito smiles at her and asks if he can call her, ‘Kotori’. [He has been calling her ‘peacock’ = Kujaku or by her surname] He seriously says that he really wants to call her by her name. Kotori is surprised then looks down as she remembers a certain guy who said, Kotori, what kind of name is that. Yukito says it seems that she hates her name and she could have some unhappy experience about it but he would want to call her by her name because he really thinks it is cute. I’m not the same as that guy. After thinking a bit, Kotori says yes. Yukito happily smiles and says that he will start calling her Kotori. He tells her that she can call him, Yukito. [rather than by his surname] Kotori wonders how could Yukito easily break her barriers. Yukito asks for her email address/phone number so that he can put it in his mobile phone. Kotori takes out hers. They have a similar phone model though Kotori’s is red color while Yukito’s is white. She remembers Yukito saying that he only gives his phone details to the person he likes. This made Kotori blush as Yukito tells her that they play again, some other time. Kotori thought, can I, really? Outside the restaurant, Harada’s friend points out to Harada that Kotori is with Yukito.
The next day, Kotori is still in a daze over what happened yesterday. She wonders if it is all a dream..but it wasn’t because his phone number is in her mobile phone. She begins to wonder if it means that they are going steady already but he didn’t say it. If she asked him, it would sound strange. She wonders how would she know, so she decided to consult her game but she frets that she saved too many times that she doesn’t know which is which. Kotori freezes when Harada appears from behind and asks her what did she did yesterday since it is such a waste that she didn’t went to the group date. Kotori feels uneasy as she forgot all about Harada. Harada continues on asking what time Kotori left and the guy from Shou Sekae was quite friendly. Harada asks why is she acting so weird. Kotori just tries to apologize. They were momentarily interrupted when Yukito greets Kotori by her name and also Harada. Harada smiles and taunts Kotori that he called Kotori by her name. Harada’s friend calls her for class which is study period. Harada pulls Kotori and says that they should go. After class, Yukito is cleaning the blackboard when he asks Kotori how about they eat together during free time at the field trip. Kotori looks a bit uneasy and says that she will be eating with her friends. Yukito asks if it is Harada, well, they can do it another time. Yukito moves closer and seems to want to kiss her but Kotori closes her eyes as if she doesn’t want to. Yukito quickly backs away and says he is going ahead to bring the record book [probably to the teacher]. Kotori says yes. After he left, she is really red and told herself that she cannot be like that.
During the field trip, Kotori asks the teacher for a change of seat. In the bus, Yukito is waiting to be sit beside Kotori as according to the seating arrangement but his friend tells him that Kotori asks to be seated beside Harada. As they go out to a park, the teacher tells them that they have free time during lunch but they shouldn’t leave the park. Yukito is telling his friends that they go to a convenient store to buy lunch. [The scans are blurred, probably he doesn’t brought a lunch box] Kotori sees him and she looks a bit uneasy. Harada calls out to Kotori that they are going. Yukito sadly looks at her. Kotori with Harada and friend goes deeper in the park where no one is around. Harada tells Kotori to wait for them as she forgot to buy something. Alone, sitting on a bench, Kotori begins to think over Yukito not smiling at her and she knew that she shouldn’t do this and she enjoys Yukito’s company but still she fears Harada.. At a tree, Yukito is eating a sandwich with his friends. His friend asks him what is the matter for he looks gloomy. Yukito says it is nothing. Harada and friend come by them and asks if they can join them. Harada says that she wants to take a picture with Yukito alone. Meanwhile, Kotori looks at her mobile phone and it is almost lunch time. She wonders what’s keeping Harada and friend. She goes to look for Harada only to find Harada with Yukito. Harada is going to take a picture of Yukito on her mobile phone. Harada comments that she likes Yukito’s hair color and she would dye her hair similar to his. She asks if it will suit her. Yukito says who knows, do what you want. Harada is irritated by this. Yukito then asks wasn’t she suppose to be with Kotori eating lunch together. Harada laughs and says what are you saying, I don’t know anything about that. This shocks Kotori that she quickly runs away. Yukito has seen her.
While everyone else is having fun or eating together, Kotori is eating her lunch all by her lonesome. She tries to convince herself that she is alright being all alone for she knew it earlier on and it doesn’t bother her. After eating, she decides to play her game so that her mood will become better. She wants to talk with somebody so she goes in the chat room. To her shock, Hikaru is also online. She looks around and thought that Hikaru is the same year as she is. Hikaru asks if she is okay, she doesn’t look happy. She tells him that she wanted to please her friend and in order for her friend not to become angry, she agreed to do whatever her friend wants. She already knew what will happen but she is too timid to not do it, now she can’t even be frank with the boy she likes. She takes out the necklace that Yukito gave her and hold on it tight. To her surprise, Yukito appears before her. Kotori quickly looks away and thought that she doesn’t want him to see her all alone. Yukito holds her hand to make her look at him and asks her why did she ran away. Is it because of him? Is that it? Kotori shakes her head and says it isn’t, it is not about him. Kotori thought, it is because I’m too weak/timid. Yukito gets angry and tells her not to pretend that he isn’t the one responsible. He leaves. Kotori can only wish to stop him from leaving. Kotori hears a beep and looks at her DS. Hikaru types, is it okay not to chase after him? Kotori is afraid of being alone but then, what is more important to you, your friend or your boyfriend? Kotori remembers that Yukito looked at her in her eyes and told her that he likes her.
It is time to go back into the bus. Kotori hurriedly runs and asks the teacher if Yukito has gone up the bus yet. The teacher says Yukito didn’t, wasn’t he suppose to be with her. The teacher then looks surprised and calls out, Kaiji. Kotori quickly looks behind her and sees Yukito with his hair dyed black. Everyone at the bus is looking out the window and exclaim if it is really Yukito. Blushing a bit, Yukito says, this is the only thing I can think of, I wish you won’t mind other things and just look at me. I wish you’ll believe me... Kotori looks surprised and realizes that he dyed his hair for her since Harada was saying before that she liked his hair and would want to dye her hair like his. The students in the bus exclaim, that’s great. They ask Yukito if he is confessing, does he like Kotori. Yukito shouts for them to shut up. Harada is displeased by this. The teacher asks Yukito where did he get his hair done. Yukito proudly says he did it himself by buying the dye at the convenient store. The teacher scolds him that he said they shouldn’t leave the park. Yukito apologizes. He then looks at Kotori and says that he did say some bad things but right now, things are like that. Kotori blushes and thanks him. Because of what Yukito did, Kotori decides to become stronger and confident so that she will be closer to Yukito. Next day, at school, Kotori made her hair into two ponytails and put on the necklace that Yukito gave her. She decides to gather her courage and call out his name then greet him. She perks up when she hears Yukito and his friends talking about PE. Yukito said that if it isn’t soccer, he won’t go. While she is still wondering how to call him, she peeks from the corner and is surprised that Yukito has already noticed her. Kotori stutters as she greets him a good morning. Yukito tells his friends not to mind but his friends are laughing say that they will go ahead. As Kotori is still struggling and his friends looking at them from the corner, Yukito looks at Kotori then says, what..what do you want? This surprises Kotori that she can only apologize and say it is nothing. The teacher calls out to them that the bell has rung so get in the classroom. Kotori wonders why did Yukito said, what do you want. Inside the classroom, Yukito’s friends made a huge heart on the blackboard and saying that there is a love situation in their classroom. The other students are giggling and as usual, Harada isn’t too happy about it. Kotori is embarrassed. Yukito is surprised to see that they made his and Kotori’s chair side by side together. Yukito angrily says, what is this about? Who made our seats together like that. There is nothing between us. Yukito angrily kicks the two tables away as his friends get nervous because they made Yukito angry. The teacher just calmly tells Yukito to fix the tables for class is about to start.
During the break, Kotori wonders what does Yukito meant by ‘what do you want?’ and ‘there is nothing between us’. Kotori thought that he isn’t the same as before. Was he teasing her when she wanted to become closer to him. Kotori notices that she seems to be feeling angry. She decides to consult her ever reliable game. She enters a chat room while thinking that when Yukito dyed his hair black, his heart also turned black. In the chat room, Hikaru types, you called? Kotori freaks out that he is in. Hikaru draws about the things that she should do to Yukito – give him the middle finger, curse him, or claw him with her nails. Kotori thanks him for being angry for her sake and she has become more energetic. Hikaru advises her that she should tell her feelings to the person himself. Kotori agrees and thought that she has already decided to become closer with Yukito so she shouldn’t be afraid. Harada appears and grabs her DS game. She exclaims what’s this, Hikaru. She wondered what is Kotori doing but it turned out that she is playing that shoujo game. Does Kotori like this? Harada goes to show the other students about it. Isn’t Yukito pitiful because Kotori is with this guy named Hikaru? What would Yukito think when he knows of this? Ah, no, Yukito must have known this. Didn’t he say that there is nothing between them? Why don’t you go out with this Hikaru instead? Kotori starts to get angry. A boy tells Harada that she is too much, saying those things. Harada laughs and says that it is such a vain attempt to get Hikaru. Kotori says playing the game...there’s nothing wrong. Harada says, huh. Kotori angrily says, there is nothing wrong liking to play shoujo game. She shouts, I like Yukito..there is nothing sit! [She used the wrong word instead of ‘wrong’, she used ‘sit’ but they sound alike] The others were confused what does she mean by sit. Kotori is embarrassed that she got tongue-tied. Kotori exclaims again that she likes Yukito in front of Harada and the other students including those just passing by. How embarrassing..it is embarrassing to death. I actually shouted my feelings but then, I’m relieved.
In the classroom, the students are discussing that their PE will be outdoors. Yukito is sitting downcast that his friends apologizes for what they did. Yukito darkly says that he isn’t angry. They aren’t convinced that he isn’t angry. They apologize again and say they are going ahead. Alone in the classroom, Yukito tells himself that he is stupid, he should have said something else. [referring to when he met Kotori before they went in the classroom] Kotori is heading back to the classroom since she have forgotten that the next class is PE. [probably to get her change of clothes for PE] Kotori is surprised that Yukito’s friends pass by her. They were shouting we are really sorry, are you going to the classroom, quickly go there. They wave goodbye to her. Kotori is confused and wonders why are they apologizing. She opens the door to the classroom and sees Yukito. He is about to remove his pants. The two look at each other. Pause. Kotori notices what he is doing. Kotori looks away embarrassed and shouts, I’m sorry. Yukito also freaks out and quickly pulls up his pants. She tries to go out but the door won’t open. Yukito’s friends are keeping it shut as they are apologizing mentally to her. Yukito holds the door and asks Kotori not to leave. The other students are already playing ball at the grounds. Kotori says that the bell has already rung. Yukito asks which one is more important, class or him? Kotori says, class. Yukito is slightly irked.
Kotori says he is quite cunning to do this thing. That time before, he had confessed and now, he is acting all strange. She wanted to also say that she likes him but she knows that she need to be courageous to do that. He is really cunning to kiss her and then today, doing all these things as if nothing had happened. Yukito denies that he did that. Kotori says he did. He asks like what. She says like this morning, he said what do you want. Yukito says it is because she looked troubled. Kotori says she isn’t, she just wanted to call out to him. Yukito seems at bit at a loss then confesses that everyone is making a fuss about it so he did it so that everyone won’t make fun of them. He asks didn’t she hate it..how he did that method in confessing to her [in front of everybody during the trip]. The bell rings again. A momentary silence between the two. Yukito leans to her and asks isn’t she wearing the necklace. Kotori becomes embarrassed and says she isn’t. The two starts to fuss about as Yukito wanting to see it and Kotori denying she is wearing it. In the end, Yukito just hugs her. Kotori thought that the lollipop that Yukito gave her, even the necklace, every time she sees them, her heart beats and another layer of ‘liking Yukito’ has added. The teacher comes by and asks why are they still in class, they should have changed clothes already. The teacher looks down and sees Yukito’s unbuttoned pants, with his underwear exposing. It is only then Yukito realized that he forgot to button his pants. The teacher gloomily asks what are they doing. The two exclaim that they aren’t doing anything..they haven’ done anything yet. The teacher shouts, stop making excuses, go to the office. Thus ends another day of the two Kaiji-s. =P
I think aside from Kotori’s timidness, she has a problem expressing herself. Actually, Yukito seems to have that problem, too. They tend to say things that the other misunderstands and tend to misinterpret. Kotori wants to please everybody and is afraid of making Harada hate her. This caused trouble since Yukito is beginning to think she is avoiding him. Yukito thought she ran away because she saw him with Harada. In fact, it was only when Harada denied that she is going lunch with Kotori when Kotori left and well, basically realized what kind of person Harada really is. Then, when Kotori tries to get closer to Yukito, he is the one who seems to be moving away from her. It all turned out that Yukito is doing that so that they won’t be teased too much by their other classmates. I do wonder who is Hikaru that Kotori is chatting with. Before, I thought it is Yukito but then, how could Yukito be there and while he is leaving, Hikaru is chatting with her on the DS. It could be someone else. Well, to cap off the misunderstandings, the teacher thought they are doing something in the classroom. I think the teacher is quite cool over these things that he doesn’t react too much when the other students are making fun of the two in the classroom. I was imagining that he was thinking, ah, just another day in the life of a high school teacher..no big deal. =P Oh ya, it is good that Kotori finally shouted at Harada rather than just let Harada make fun of her. I think that will stop Harada from ‘bullying’ her...momentarily, that is. It seems that there is a 'rule' among girls if they are friends, the one who likes a certain guy first has priority to that guy regardless if the guy liked the other one. This is the skit that is done in Skip Beat! wherein Kyouko and Kanae auditioned for the softdrink commercial. That is why, Kotori doesn't want to offend Harada and why Harada is angry at Kotori though, Harada became friends with Kotori in false pretense. As they say, make your friends close, while your enemies closer.

[Name Change: I have found a brief intro of this series in another site. My names for the two leads are all wrong so I’ll correct it here. The name of female lead whom I named Eienko is Towako. Then, the name of the male lead whom I named Yuukawa is Yuuga.]
Towako and Yuuga has noticed the door. They look inside and there is a narrow path leading somewhere. Towako says surely, it is going to lead to some road outside and it is good since Yuuga can finally get out. Then we.. She didn’t finish as she thought it is okay since they aren’t getting married but then, they won’t be able to see each other again. Towako suddenly exclaims for Yuuga to bring her along with him. This surprises Yuuga and even Towako herself. Yuuga asks why when this place is her home. Towako gets embarrassed since she said that without thinking. She quickly makes up an alibi that it is for experience and she wants to know what it is a commoner’s life like and if she stays there, surely, she will be forced to marry someone else. Towako thought what is she saying when it is her dream to get married. Yuuga tells her to do what she wants but they should get changed before heading out. Towako is surprised that Yuuga quickly agreed without any fuss. Looking at the pond, she wondered what was Yuuga thinking/feeling when he told her that the photo isn’t important since he, the real person, is there. They finally gets out of the mansion as Towako have a hard time walking since she is wearing her kimono. Yuuga seems to ask why is she wearing that. Towako reads from her family’s rules that wearing one while going out is cute or something. Yuuga walks a bit and says that he doesn’t know how to get back since he was tied up and shoved in car. He doesn’t recognize the roads they passed by. To Yuuga’s shock, Towako jumps in front of the street to call out a taxi. Yuuga tells her to wait but when the taxi driver realizes that Towako is from the Gokurakuin family, he lets them in.
They arrive at the city as Yuuga muses that Towako is really a rich ojousama. Towako says what, what do you say. Yuuga says it is nothing. Some women passes by and admires the two being pretty looking couple. Towako asks where are they going. Looking at his mobile phone, Yuuga says that he needs to recharge his batteries so they are going to a store that sells mobile phones. Towako looks amazed at the different kinds of mobile phones available. She happily looks around and says that these are the models that she has seen on the television. Yuuga asks doesn’t she have a mobile phone. Towako says she does have one which she brings when she goes to school but it is an old model which she had since she was in kindergarten. She looks surprised at Yuuga’s mobile phone and says it doesn’t look bad. Yuuga tells her that it is an ordinary one. Towako nevertheless admires it. The saleslady says they are selling one which costs 0 yen. Towako is surprised that it is 0 yen that she wants it. Yuuga shouts it can’t be for there should still be taxes and other things to pay. Towako starts to cry and thought that it seems she still has to pay, why is this world, it is always about money. Yuuga says what are you saying. Towako decides to call a servant to bring the money there so that she can buy it. To her surprise, Yuuga tells the saleslady that he wants to buy a model just like the one he is using. Towako is puzzled. Yuuga types in something in the new mobile phone and gives it to Towako. He says, it might be a bit early but this is your gift. Towako asks, gift? Yuuga says, birthday gift! Towako is utterly shock by it. Yuuga tells her it is nothing, he is just giving it to her since it will be quite troublesome if she gets lost. Yuuga goes out of the store as Towako follows him. She looks at her new phone and sees that Yuuga has put in his phone number in it. Yuuga’s phone starts to ring. He answers it and it is Towako. She says hello, hello, can you hear me? Say something. Yuuga tells her that she is too close to him that her voice is too loud. Yuuga looks at her in surprise. While she is blushing, Towako then whispers in the phone, ‘Thank you. Tomorrow. Happy Birthday.’ To the one who is born at the same time as me.
Towako hangs up and walks pass him. She says let’s go, are there any other places they can go. Towako can’t believe she said that to Yuuga but it is proper to thank him for it. She thought that she has find him irritating before but then, having something similar with him makes her happy. Yuuga smiles at her as Towako happily holds her mobile phone. Yuuga notices that there are many people gathering around. He tells Towako that there could be a fireworks festival since there are some kiosks around the area. She sees some fireworks being displayed at the night sky that she hurriedly tries to get into the crowd. The crowd hold her up and tosses her around before throwing her out. Yuuga catches her. Towako says she can’t get in and Yuuga thought that he has seen something he doesn’t want to see. Looking at the fireworks, Towako says she sees them at the banquets and every time she does, she feels happy. Yuuga says if there are always such things in their banquets, this won’t be such a big deal. Towako keeps on looking at the fireworks and cluelessly says, really. Towako then realizes something and asks Yuuga’s family, shouldn’t he go home since he haven’t been seen/disappeared for some time already. Yuuga removes his outer shirt and puts it beside him for Towako to sit on. Yuuga tells her that he isn’t a kid anymore and even if he returns, no one is at home. Towako asks why. Yuuga tells her that his parents are divorced. His mother has gotten the custody of him and his younger sister but because she is always working, she is never at home. Her younger sister also doesn’t go home most of the time either. He also have work so he is pretty busy. So, while he is at her house, everything would still be the same at his house. This isn’t good to tell to someone like you who wants to get married. But no matter what, if it didn’t work out, the failure will be because of oneself.
Towako is looking at him that Yuuga asks isn’t she going to watch the fireworks. Towako asks, failure? Didn’t you said before that getting married, one should happily love each other and living together is because of a person’s decision? Having one heart and joining together, then having a child..it is some kind of happiness, no matter what is the result, one should never say it is a failure. Yuuga looks at her in surprise as Towako keeps on saying, that’s right, absolutely. She is then surprised that she wasn’t able to watch the fireworks. She asks Yuuga if she can take pictures using her phone. After teaching her, she prepares to take a picture but to her shock, there are no more fireworks. Yuuga tells her that they just went to rest a bit and it will start again. Then, Towako has an idea. She sits beside Yuuga and takes a picture of them together. Yuuga is angry that she did that. Towako says it is for remembrance and she still doesn’t have his picture for this year. She looks at the picture she has taken and thought that she doesn’t want a picture of Yuuga alone, but a picture of being together with Yuuga. Holding her phone tight, she says, Yuuga, buying the phone for me, strolling together, taking a picture together, this kind of happiness, it is the first time I’ve experienced it. She thought that thinking of him makes her a bit nervous. Looking at her, Yuug then leans near her and is about to kiss her. Just then, Towako exclaims in surprise that the fireworks have started again. She then looks sideways and notices Yuuga almost giving her a kiss. The two blushes as Yuuga quickly pulls away. He covers his mouth and seems to be surprised at what he is about to do. Towako exclaims that it is taboo to kiss before getting married. Yuuga is really embarrassed as he denies that he is trying to kiss her. Yuuga wonders what’s wrong with him. Towako wonders if she is like that, is it okay. They sit together, as Yuuga is touching her fingers. Today I’m really happy and excited. Tomorrow, I want to say ‘congratulations’ and I want others to say ‘congratulations’ to me. Future, the very far away future, I still want for us to be together, and I’m not alone anymore.
They hear the sound of a helicopter above. Someone calls out to Towako that she has come to get her – leave the boy and come back at once. After the helicopter has landed, a ninja-looking girl, with many ninja troops behind her, tells Towako to go back to the main house. Yuuga gets Towako behind him and asks who they are. Towako tells him that they are her servants. Towako tells her that she isn’t going home, so she [ninja girl] shouldn’t mind.. To their surprise, ninja girl throws a rope and ties up Towako. She then pulls Towako to her. [That’s probably how they kidnapped Yuuga before =P] Yuuga is shock that they will actually get Towako that way. Ninja girl says they are now departing. Yuuga shouts what are they doing when Towako just said she doesn’t want to go back. Ninja girl tells him that he seems to have misunderstand because he has just broken one of the provisions [not to go out of the house], he has lost the qualification to become Towako’s husband. Tomorrow, Towako will be set to marry another man. Towako and Yuuga are surprised to learn this. Towako tries to jump away from ninja girl to escape but she can’t because ninja girl is holding the end of the rope binding her. Ninja girl says because this is the provision, they disobeyed so they have to be separated. Unfortunately, it is already 9pm and Towako becomes dizzy as it is time for her to sleep. Ninja girl has taken advantage of this as she takes Towako in the helicopter. Towako thought having this condition [sleeping at exactly 9pm] is quite troublesome but she wants to be with Yuuga. She wonders why didn’t Yuuga say anything, I..I.. Yuuga looks helplessly as the helicopters fly away amidst the fireworks. [Isn’t that dangerous? ^^;;] Yuuga is troubled as he remembers what ninja girl said that they broken the provision so Towako will be married to someone else. He also remembers Towako telling him that her parents relationship is quite good that she admires them so she doesn’t hate getting married.
On Aug 20, 2007, Towako wakes up in shock that it is already morning and it is already the 20th. She gets frantic over it as her parents greets her a good morning. Her mother is a beautiful sophisticated looking woman while her father is a short Japanese looking man who reminds me of Reborn. ^^;; They happily throws confetti and exclaims happy birthday so it’s time to get married! Towako sweatdrops and says thanks but about the marriage.. Her mother grabs her hand and happily tells her what about it, it is time to get prepared. She calls ninja girl, Tsubaki to get Towako dressed up. Tsubaki tosses Towako into the hot spring, dresses her up in a bridal dress, and puts make-up on Towako. Her mother opens a door and there are some boys inside. On their chests is a note of their birthdays which is also on Aug 20th but in different times. Her mother happily asks which one does she want to get married to. Her father just keep on throwing confetti. Her mother reads from their family tradition scroll that if there is no one who is born at the same time as she is, then she can get married to any guys that is close to the time she was born. The boys all ask her to pick them as they shout the time they were born. They thought that Towako looks pretty. Towako closes the door. Her mother angrily asks if she means that she doesn’t like any of them. Towako says, ha ha, I won’t get married to someone I just met. Her mother asks what is she saying when she really wanted to get married before. Towako says that’s right but not those type of people. Towako tries to tell her about Yuuga but her mother says that Yuuga doesn’t have any relation with her anymore. This shocks Towako that she runs out of the room. Her mother tries to call her and is distress about this so her father pats her head to comfort her. Towako is hiding in some room and thought that Yuuga has said that he won’t marry her. Tsubaki has found her and tells her that her mother is looking for her. Towako asks Tsubaki what was Yuuga’s expression before they left, was it without care [for her or it is all nothing to him]. Holding her mobile phone, she wonders what kind of expression he has now after she has been taken away.
In the classroom, during study period or break, some girls are crowding near Yuuga who is reading a book. He must be farsighted since he has glasses while in school. A girl says that she was worried about him because he didn’t contact anyone while he was gone. She offers him a birthday gift but Yuuga doesn’t want it. The girl calls him stupid while other girls tries to offer him some gifts. A couple of guys arrive and shout for Yuuga that they haven’t seen him for a long time and what had he been up to. Yuuga looks bored as they try to invite them to play some ball but remembers that they have to study. The teacher comes in and they casually talk with him, goofing around and talking about things. The teacher tells them to think of their future for they are already in third year [high school]. The students laugh and say they will. Yuuga talks to himself, what it this, a really ordinary high school life. Both Towako and Yuuga are thinking what is important to them. Towako’s parents try to tell her that the ceremony is about to start. Towako pulls down her hair and tells them that she is running away from home. She thanks them for taking care of her all these years and preparing for her birthday. At the classroom, Yuuga thought what a boring birthday. His classmate tells him what is he saying, today is his birthday so he should thank his parents. Yuuga removes his eye glasses. Towako thought, she wanted to have a marriage like her parents, she has been longing for this till her 18th birthday. Towako says, no matter what happen, her parents or the provisions, always minding her but she knows what would make her happy in the end. Towako leaves the house as her mother shouts for her. Yuuga also leaves the classroom as the teacher is calling out to him as to where is he going.
Walking in the streets, Yuuga calls to Towako on her mobile phone asking where she is, what is she doing. Towako says that is what she wanted to ask him. Before I thought that I would be happy just because I get married so I have eagerly waited for this day to come. But I was mistaken, today, I wasn’t even a bit happy. I feel miserable and in pain. Because I realize that if I’m by your side, then I will really be happy. I had realize this so I’m going. Yuuga is touched by her words then he hears a helicopter sound. He looks up and is shock to see Towako jumping down to him while talking to him on the phone. It seems that Tsubaki helped Towako find Yuuga as she is piloting the helicopter. Yuuga is still in shock as he asks her if she wanted to die. Towako is hugging him. Blushing, she tells him it doesn’t matter what her family or the family rules said, as long as she is with him even if he says he hates her. Yuuga softly smiles at her that Towako becomes nervous and asks if that is okay with him, is he listening. Yuuga holds her head closer to him and says, come closer and close your eyes. Towako blushes really red. She begins to fret what does he mean by that, move closer, what should she do. She then realizes what he meant. He tells her if she wants, he also want to do it. He pulls her closer and gives her a kiss on the lips. Later on, the two are still blushing over it as Yuuga holds her hand while they walk. Yuuga tells her that she should go back first and he pretty much remember the way back. Towako exclaims that she just ran away from home. Yuuga is shock as they argue about what Towako just did. A dark colored car is parked near the street. Someone says, Setsuna-sama, how do you plan to deal with those two. A young man looks at them and says,...I will.
Well, the two is off a good start. ^-^ Towako has gotten over her initial disappointment that Yuuga isn’t what she dreamed about on the picture but he gets to her good side because of his kindness. It is a big thing since Yuuga had mentioned later on that he is working part time and for him to use his money to pay for her phone to the fact that he barely knew her. It isn’t surprising how Yuuga falls for Towako, she is so sweet, innocent and cute. Unlike her other would-be fiancés, he didn’t fall for her because of her pretty appearance. We learn why Yuuga is not into marriage. It turned out that he is from a broken family and he becomes disenchanted over marriage. I do wonder how his mother and younger sister would react over Yuuga’s ‘arranged’ marriage with Towako. Hehe It is nice that they mutually think each other is important and will not waste any time to be with each other. I wonder if Tsubaki put a bug or something on Yuuga that they found him easily. Hehe I think it is amusing to have ninja-like servants. =P Even if they are rich and extravagant for owning helicopters, it does seem that Towako’s family are quite thrifty because Towako only have an old mobile phone. She doesn’t even seem to think much about money that she is dismayed that there is no such thing as free. In fact, she left her house without any money on her. About the young man in the last scene, well, obviously he’ll try to cause some trouble for the couple. Hehe, 她弟弟不喜歡他. =P

Papillon -Hana to Chou- [Chapter 17]

Title: The chrysalis and the rose. Kyuu has walked Chou to her condominium. They are already at a park and Chou tells him that it is okay to leave her there. She thanks him for walking her back. To her surprise, Kyuu leans in to kiss her. She quickly blushes and backs away. She shouts what is he doing. Kyuu tells her that he is giving her a good night kiss. This made Chou even redder. Kyuu tries to lean again but she keeps on protesting. Kyuu asks what is the matter when she was the one who kissed him earlier. Chou says that it was different because earlier, she had already prepared her heart so she dared to do it but if he tries to do it, she doesn’t know what to do. Chou starts to get frustrated and embarrassed over what she has just said. To her shock, Kyuu holds her face and tells her to think of it just a return for the earlier kiss. Chou closes her eyes as she thought that her heart seems to jump out. To her surprise, Kyuu just kisses her on her forehead. He hugs her and says that they continue it next time. He teases her that her heart is beating so fast. This embarrasses Chou. Looking at him, she happily hugs him back. It feels like a dream. The world has suddenly become all bright as I am really lovers with sensei. That’s great, my decision is right. If I kept on being irritated over it [the girls all over Kyuu], I won’t be happy with sensei today. Because my first kiss has a lot of wishes, like sensei kissing me, hope it will be romantic and make one forget where one is. I’m glad that I didn’t do that nonsense insistence. The road to happiness or the road to bitterness are all decided by oneself. They were interrupted when they hear Kana shouting to Ryuusei to stop following her. Kana is walking to their house with Ryuusei following her. Chou quickly pushes Kyuu away. Kana is surprised to see them together that she quickly looks away and leaves. Ryuusei is crying and all sad that Chou asks him what is the matter. Ryuusei says there is no problem as he gloomily goes away.
At school, Chou is worried about Ryuusei who is absent in class since he has been acting weird lately. During noon/lunch break, Chou is walking behind the school building when she sees Ryuusei sniffing into a plastic bag. Chou angrily gets the bag and throws it away. She shouts at him as to what is he doing. [He does look like he is sniffing drugs/rugby] To Chou’s surprise, what is in the bag is sweet smelling. Ryuusei gloomily says that he has heard that aroma of the Coumarouna odorata [tall tropical South American tree having pulpy egg-shaped pods of fragrant black almond-shaped seeds used for flavoring] can heal a person’s heart but then, his heart is really down that no matter how deep he breathes it in, it still won’t work. Ryuusei sighs that Chou asks if there is any problem with Kana. She tells him that to tell her about it for she might be able to help him. Ryuusei cries her name but then shouts that he cannot say it, he has no way he can tell it to her. This surprises Chou so she suggests that he goes see the guidance counselor for she did went there a few times and now, she is doing much better now. Ryuusei groans and says that it isn’t something that he can tell anyone about. Chou tells him that the counselor can also deal with love problems. Ryuusei screams that he can’t say it, never. He groans as to why he did such a thing. Just then, a male student passes by and says, opps, someone got here first. [I think he is going to smoke there] Chou recognizes the student as Kana’s ex-boyfriend, Kazuki. [from chapter 2] He looks intently at Chou and asks if she is Kana..no, Kana’s sister. He tells Chou that she looks cute and asks if she has a boyfriend. If you don’t have one, how about going out with me? Chou shakes her head vigorously that Kazuki laughs and says she doesn’t need to object that way. He notices gloomy, weepy Ryuusei and asks what is he unhappy about. Ryuusei looks away and says it is nothing. Ryuusei then asks Kazuki why did he break up with Kana. Ryuusei notices that Kazuki is looking at Chou and seems to be a bit embarrassed. Kazuki says, it is nothing..honestly, about that.. Kazuki starts to leave and says that it is generally his fault...he didn’t know. Ryuusei grabs Kazuki and asks him to tell him the circumstances as to why they broke up.
Outside the counselor’s room, there are some students playing baseball. Inside, Kyuu is eating a sandwich while reading a book. Someone knocks at the door. Kyuu looks up and sees Kana. Kyuu happily welcomes her and asks if she wants to talk about something. Kana says it is nothing, she just happen to pass by. She comes in and sits on the sofa. Kana says that it seems that their [Kyuu and Chou] relationship is doing well. Kyuu says it is all thanks to her. Kana says that she never thought that even after doing all those tricks, in the end, Chou will still get the things she want. Kyuu looks at her speechlessly. Kana then asks him why does he call Chou, ‘chrysalis’. Kyuu asks what does she think. Kana says is it because she and her name has no relation. Kyuu smiles and says it is because she is a virgin. This utterly shocks Chou and freaks her out that she quickly covers her chest with both hands. She exclaims, what, how scary! You have gone steady with her because she is a virgin. Kyuu makes a face and says that it is one of the many reasons. Kana says really, all guys are animals who only like THAT. Still making a face, Kyuu says what is she saying, the world is full of people because they did THAT and if they didn’t do THAT, there won’t be any future generations. Unconvinced, Kana says he does have a point there. Kyuu continues eating his sandwich and reading his book. Looking at him, Kana asks if Chou is a ‘chrysalis’, then what am I? Kyuu looks at her and smiles. He says, a rose. Kana is surprised by that reply and says, really, do I give a feeling that I’m a rose? Why do you say so? Kyuu laughs and says it is because her whole body is full of thorns. Kana angrily shouts, what?!
They were interrupted by Kana’s mobile phone which is ringing. Kana looks at it and it is Ryuusei. Kana didn’t answer it that Kyuu asks isn’t she going to answer it. Since her phone kept on ringing, Kana decided to answer it. Ryuusei asks her where is she. Kana asks what does he want, what does he care where she is. Ryuusei is running all over the school looking for Kana while on the phone. Ryuusei says he has something to tell her. Kana replies she already doesn’t want to listen to any of his explanations. No matter how many times you apologize, I won’t go out with you again. That’s all, thanks for your time. I’m really happy being able to go steady with you because before, I really liked you. Ryuusei manages to see Kana inside the counselor’s room that he barges in and shouts so you’re here. Ryuusei darkly smiles at her and says she also pretended to be Chou then tricked Kazuki, too. A scene of Kazuki telling Ryuusei that it is Kana’s test. That person is qualified to be her boyfriend if he didn’t fall for other woman’s charms. It seems that Kana has been doing it to other guys, too. Kana looks away. Ryuusei angrily asks if she really has to do it to that degree in order to trust someone. Always calling others a traitor, but honestly, the one who is a traitor to others is you, yourself. It seems as if you don’t want to be happy. Knowing men are like that, so you think you can just test them whether they’ll be a good as a lover or not. To be seduced or not, what kind of qualification is that. I’m also human, I have a heart/feelings. After being tricked, I also feel sad and get hurt. Ryuusei angrily looks at Kana and says that he is finished with what he has to say. So don’t worry, I’m not going to bother you again. Ryuusei leaves the room.
Kana is just being quiet as Kyuu looks at her. He says that her boyfriend just left, is it okay not to talk things out clearly. Kana says it doesn’t matter for what Ryuusei said is true, she is a bad girl who wantonly tests men. Didn’t you say that I’m a long thorn-ed rose? Kyuu looks at her and says that he generally understand what she is trying to do and even if she does that, she will end up being hurt. Who wants to sink into unhappiness? You have your own rule/principle and you want to stick to that rule. No matter what way [to fulfill that rule], good or bad, in the end, you really do want to be happy going steady with the other party. Kana looks surprised and is a bit blushing. Kyuu smiles as he hit the bull’s eye. Kana quickly turns away and denies that she is thinking that way but she is already in tears. Kyuu says if she wants to cry, she can do so in his chest. Embarrassed, Kana shouts that she doesn’t want to. Kyuu makes a face and says, okay, okay. Looking outside, Kyuu laughingly says the break isn’t over yet so she can just sit there for a while. Kana looks at him then bites her lips to stop herself from crying. She asks, why? Kyuu says, huh. Just then, the students who were playing baseball, hit the ball towards the counseling room. Kyuu and Kana are surprised as the ball coming towards them. Kana covers her face as the window breaks. She looks up to see that Kyuu uses his back to shield her. [Miraculously, he didn’t get hurt] Kyuu exclaims that was dangerous. The boys apologize and try to run away. Kyuu shouts at them that their hitting technique really sucks so come back and clean up the mess. He turns around and asks if Kana is alright.
Kana asks why didn’t he scold at her. Kyuu is puzzled. Kana continues saying that not only him, but also to Chou and Ryuusei, she did unforgivable things so why is he still calmly and patiently treating her well. I’m really a rose, whose body is full of thorns. My existence is just to hurt people. Kyuu smiles and tells her that rose is a plant that if its stem doesn’t have thorns, it can easily be plucked. If it is injured, it won’t be able to easily recover. The stem would then be bent/distorted and easily breaks off. For a young rose, thorns are a must-have since this way, it can protect itself. Being young, isn’t it okay to have long thorns? Because the thorns are a part of her. The baseball falls down the table. Kana looks at Kyuu in surprise. Nobody wants to sink into unhappiness, everybody is working hard to become happy. The last scene is Chou in the classroom though she seems to be looking at Ryuusei’s desk. Ryuusei is still behind the building, thinking over things. Kana is looking out the broken window. And, the story is now going to focus on Kana. That shouldn’t be surprising for the title is ‘flower and butterfly’. =P
While reading the latter part, I keep on thinking, hey, Kyuu, you’re being too nice to Kana, she might fall for you. Hehe Well, it turned out that Kana does do that ‘pretend to be Chou’ routine to all the men she dated. It is indeed quite an extreme way of testing men whether they are future two-timers or not. I guess she got too carried away doing it that she begins to believe that Chou is the one stealing her boyfriends. ^^;; I guess this is why Kana is determined that Chou won’t have a boyfriend, too. Her bullying Chou does seem to centered only in this area. Also, since acting as ‘Chou’ gets her boyfriend, she had somewhat lose her self-confidence in herself. She did admit that she did like Ryuusei so I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt that she didn’t intently stole him from Chou. Kyuu did put it nicely as to what Kana is doing. She is just protecting herself – from future pain of being dumped for another woman. It is good that Kyuu isn’t too judgmental over Kana and I think that is quite a good characteristic as a guidance counselor. If he snubs her and scolds her for what she did before, he won’t be able to get to her good side. This way, he can give her some good advice and even, give her insights of her own character so that she will become a better person. Even if Kyuu is a bit of a pervert and he’s not hiding it, I kind of think he is still the better man than Ryuusei. No matter what excuses Ryuusei mentioned, it doesn’t change the fact that he did ‘two-timed’ on Kana. He should have said that he is going to break up with Kana and settle it with her before trying to get it on with ‘Chou’. Actually, I think he might become a future drug addict, the way he is sniffing that herb. ^^; bk1 tagged before that it might still be Kana-Ryuusei. I begin to think so, too, if the author is going for contrast. The way Ryuusei is acting in this chapter, he reminds me of Chou when she is all insecure over Kyuu. I kind of think that Chou and Ryuusei are a bit immature and easily frustrated whereas Kana and Kyuu are more mature though Kyuu has the advantage of being older. Anyway, I think Kyuu would have failed in Kana’s tests, too. Not really with the fidelity test but rather, on Kana being stubborn and irrational test like the time she pretended to be ‘Chou’. He is already ready to break up with her there while Ryuusei manages to bear it much longer. But then, being a college student and working part-time, Kyuu doesn’t have that much free time to handle a girlfriend like that. =P Anyway, let’s see what happens later on – Kana start to become nicer? ^^;; Scans by Hiromao for BW

In the dressing room, Ren receives his invitation for the ‘Happy Grateful Party’ from Kyouko while they were taping for Dark Moon. It will be on December 24th, 6:30pm onwards. Yashiro also gets one. Ren asks what it is about. Kyouko tells him that it is a party wherein she and Maria will thank all those who took care of them throughout this year. Ren asks why will it be held at Lory’s place so could it be Lory’s idea. Kyouko explains that it wasn’t. They planned it to be just a small gathering but somehow, Lory has heard about the news regarding their party. Flashback: At the locker room while Kyouko and Maria were making plans, Santa Lory, complete with sleight and reindeer barged in. He asked if it is true that there will be a party on the 24th of December. He shouted if Maria wanted a party then he won’t mind helping them out. Kyouko thought Lory has already giving lots of hints about Christmas because of the Christmas songs played non-stop in the company building and Lory always wearing that Santa get-up. Maria told her grandfather that she has already told him that she isn’t going to celebrate Christmas. Lory said if it isn’t Christmas then could it be her.. Kyouko explains that they are having a thank you party to all those people they knew either from way before or just recently. They hoped that being together at the party even for a short period of time, they will bring across their feelings of gratitude to the people they invited. Maria agreed. Lory smiled over this idea and wanted to help out, too. Maria rejected his help and said that he is one of their guests so he shouldn’t help them prepare for the party. Lory is surprised that he is a guest. Maria said of course because if it weren’t for him, she and her father won’t exist. Lory said he is very happy about that and he will just act like a guest. End flashback.
Kyouko tells Ren and Yashiro that Lory decided to offer them his place as the venue of the party. Yashiro is worried about how they are going to prepare since that place is quite huge. Kyouko said that some rich guy decided to sponsor them – a Uncle Long Legs [aka Daddy-Long Legs]. A scene of an old English man offering them help for the party. Ren and Yashiro thought that it is all Lory’s plan while Kyouko actually believed that such a person exists. Maria is said to be surprised that someone else wanted to help. [Lory must have hired that person to pretend to be a sponsor as a way of indirectly helping them] Kyouko then says that Ren will surely get an invitation from Maria. She asks him to go even if he is very busy. She said it is okay even if it is just for a short while. Ren tells her he thinks he has some free time then so he will come and will bring a gift for Maria. Ren and Yashiro are surprised when Kyouko brightens up and smiles. She bows to him and thanks him because Maria will be really happy about it. Ren decided to playfully asks if only Maria will be happy because he is going to the party. Kyouko didn’t seem to get what Ren is implying that she answers that the guests will also be happy if he comes. Since he doesn’t want to give up, Ren asks what about her, will she be happy. Kyouko just says of course she will be happy because she wants to thank him for always taking care of her. It isn’t exactly what Ren wanted to hear from her. She then tells him that they are working hard with the preparations and surely the guests will like it so he should come. Ren says he will. Kyouko then notices Ogata walking by. Ren notices that Kyouko is looking at Ogata so he tells her to go ahead for it seems that Ogata is one of her guests. Kyouko muses that the party has grown bigger because of Uncle Long Legs that they have started to invite more guests. Ren asks if she is going to invite the whole cast of Dark Moon. Kyouko says only those whom she mingled with and also the couple of the place where she is currently staying. Ren smiles and says that it seems to be a really fun party so he can’t wait to go. Kyouko happily smiles and says, of course. Kyouko leaves them and goes to invite Itsumi. Yashiro wonders out loud why Kyouko is very happy. Ren says it could be because she is enjoying preparing for the party. Yashiro asks why is it a thank you party instead just plain Christmas party on the 24th. Ren remembers how happy Kyouko was and says she is thinking of Maria. [as in doing it for Maria] Yashiro is puzzled.
Walking inside a shopping mall, Kanae reads her invitation. She is satisfied with the current name of the party. She walks past a poster then gloomily returns to look at it. It is a poster about cosmetics which are inspired by fairy tales. [They look like they were inspired by some magical shoujo anime to me ^^; Isn’t that Sailormoon’s wand?] Kane cringes at the thought of buying them for Kyouko but then, she keep on imagining how happy Kyouko will be if she buys it for her. She just stands there as she keep on pondering whether she would buy it or not. After the shooting is over, Kyouko rushes out of the building. She thought that Maria must be already preparing. She plans to ride on a bus or the train to get to Lory’s house instead of riding on her bicycle. She passes by a dark-skinned chauffeur, standing beside an antique car. She begins to wonder what kind of person will ride on it – probably some sickly, fair-complexion pretty lady. To her surprise, the chauffeur says that he was waiting for her and he has come to bring her to his master’s place. Kyouko learns that he is sent by Uncle Long Legs. He tells her that he was asked to assist her in any way he can since the preparations is quite hard work. Kyouko is quite nervous by the treatment and starts to pretend to be some young lady to relax. She is happy with what Lory did that he used ‘Uncle Long Legs’ to help them with the preparations and even made her feel what it is like to be a young lady.
She arrives at Lory’s place and sees Maria, wearing overalls, at the entrance waving at her. Maria shouts that the chocolate waterfall is finished. She shows Kyouko the waterfall that was made and it is surrounded by crystals/jewels and some mushrooms at the side. Maria says it isn’t like it is really finished since it is only at the party when the chocolate flows from it. Kyouko is really thrilled and happy over this. Maria says that she is able to do it thanks to the workers that Uncle Long Legs has sent. The workers are currently building a two story candy house where the party would probably be held. Maria proudly says that she is the supervisor. Kyouko and Maria decide to do the other things like the man-made grass and other decorations. Kyouko is happy to see Maria enjoying herself in the preparations. From a pillar, Lory peeks at them and smiles as he sees them carrying out stuff. The chauffeur says it has been a long time since he had seen it. Lory is surprised he is there and says that he is always like that, that people won’t realize he is there. The chauffeur says that it has been a long time since he had seen Maria smile like that especially now that 24th is fast approaching. Lory agrees. Kyouko and Maria happily scatters foam all over the place. The chauffeur says that if this party ends happily, then, Maria’s curse of making someone unhappy on her birthday will be broken. Lory says that it will happen, after this party, Maria will start to like her birthday. It will be..because that girl [Kyouko] is clever. Lory has realized that breaking the curse by making Maria happy on her birthday is Kyouko’s motive.
I won’t be surprised if the party’s theme is fairy tales. =P Some of the decorations suddenly reminded me of Otomen’s Asuka’s fiancé’s house in chapter 7-8. It is nice that both Kyouko and Maria benefits from this party as they both happily prepare it. For Maria, it is already obvious while for Kyouko, I think she gets to ‘live’ her dream. Actually, it is easy to imagine that she can be pretending to be a princess who is going to prepare a ball party. =P Heck, throw in the ‘dwarves’ = workers are helping them prepare it. Also, I think Kyouko is somewhat unconsciously trying to make Maria not suffer an unhappy childhood like hers – well, that is mostly caused by her mother rather than Shou. I’m wondering if they put in the invitation as to what attire to wear. It would be fun if it is ‘fairy tales’ cosplay though I highly doubt Kanae will actually dress like that. She already has trouble buying fairy tale inspired cosmetics for Kyouko. Ah, too bad for Ren that he didn’t get the answer he wants from Kyouko. It made me think that there won’t be any romantic scenes in this arc after all, ^^;; especially since this is Maria’s spotlight. I’m sure Maria would want to have a dance with Ren if there is a dance in the party. I do wonder if Ren and Kyouko will be wearing outfits just like in the cover of volume 17. =P It is interesting that the Kyouko’s own mother and even Shou, really didn’t know of Kyouko’s own abilities and it is only others who actually realizes how clever and wonderful Kyouko is though Shou learned of it, belatedly. On a side note, it is only recently that I learned of Kura’s real name. Argh, just when that arc is finished. What I thought before is that it is some bodyguard’s surname and also, his name turned out to be based on the pronunciation which is Kuu. According to Comics World, official HK translator, it is Cool Huxley. It made me wonder if Cool is half-Japanese or really a Westerner since Japanese are highly nationalistic, I doubt that they would use a Western sounding name when they get into US film industry. Though, he did name his son Kuon which is Japanese-sounding. Also, I wonder if that is his real surname so would Ren’s real name would be Kuon Huxley? Hehe, it actually made me think Ren was bullied when he was in the US because of his name. ^^;;

Hana to Akuma [Chapter 3 + Side Story]

Because Graves wanted to bring Vivi back to akuma world, since that day he came, he is still all tied up. Glumly, Hana spreads out her hands to bar Graves from taking away Vivi but then, Graves is still all tied up ^^;; Vivi shouts so Graves, how about it, have you thought about it through the night, have you decided to go back? Graves angrily says how can he return. If I didn’t bring you back who knows what kind of punishment I will have to suffer. Vivi says if you is going to punished then get punished already, you depressing fellow. Graves shouts why should I let myself be punished in account of you. Graves is tied up like a bagworm [one of several lepidopterous insects which construct, in the larval state, a baglike case which they carry about for protection.] on the floor. Vivi sighs and calls out to Tony that there is no other way so do it. Tony gloomily says okay. Outside the patio, Tony pulls Graves out to the bright sunlight. Tony apologizes to Graves. Graves screams ah, it is too bright here, why did you put me here. Vivi asks if he wants to go back now. Graves angrily shouts that he won’t. Wincing, Graves wonders out loud how could Vivi live normally in an a place with such bright light, curses, no wonder a great akuma is really different... Vivi then feels sick and says that it is too bright, it is better that he goes back inside. Tony tells him to rest up a bit. Hana asks if he is alright. Graves angrily thought, you’re also afraid of the light! Then go back to akuma world already! Going back in, Vivi tells Graves if he wants to go back then just shout out loud. Graves gets tense that Vivi is really going to leave him there.
After Vivi went in with Tony, Hana quickly gets a blanket and throws it on Graves’ face. She asks if that is okay. Graves says it is hard to breathe. Hana uses a rope to pull Graves in so that his face is in the shade. Graves thought that it is much better. Hana is a bit tired by it that she sits beside Graves. Graves asks her why did she saved him. Hana says it is because Graves is like a bagworm. Graves shouts for her to quit joking. Hana says I honestly doesn’t want you to bring Vivi back but Graves is the person who gave me a lollipop and also told me a lot of things about Vivi and the akuma world so this is a debt of gratitude. Graves doesn’t pleased to hear that. Graves says it seems that you still don’t know, I’m the bad guy because I’m going to bring Vivi back. Hana says but Vivi said he won’t be going back. Graves tells her not to be naïve for Vivi isn’t concerned about anything and if he finds it troublesome, he will quickly discard it. It can be said that right now, he is a bit interested in you but in the end, he will just drop you when he finds you troublesome. Hana looks surprised by this and begins to imagine that she is always calling out to Vivi and Vivi is just saying, yes, yes. Hana is shock when she imagines Vivi pushing her to the side after saying, you’re too troublesome, I’m going back to akuma world. Felton has found Hana and calls out to her. After greeting Hana and Graves, Felton exclaims that he thought of a fun game to play. To Felton’s dismay, Hana isn’t listening for she is busy wondering what if it will really happen but then Vivi said he will be with her.
In the room, Vivi asks a duel between Graves and me? Felton says that’s right for this way, this situation will easily be solved. If Vivi wins, then Graves will go back alone to akuma world but if Graves win, Vivi will go with Graves to akuma world. Vivi says that’s too troublesome. Hana is shock that Vivi actually said that word, ‘troublesome’. Still tied up and pulled into the room, Graves shouts for Vivi to not escape. Vivi says he does want to escape. Felton continues that in order to win, they will use a fair way to do it. Vivi says hey, I told you I don’t want to. Felton still continues saying that they will play hide and seek with Hana. Vivi and Graves look bored and exclaims, hide and seek. Felton says Hana will hide somewhere in the house and whoever finds her first will be the winner. It is forbidden to use akuma powers. Vivi looks thoughtful that Felton asks him if he is listening. Vivi tells Graves if he wins, Graves will nicely go back to the akuma world. Graves angrily complains that it isn’t fair because he doesn’t know the structure of that place nor knows Hana’s behavior. Vivi tells him to stop shouting and suggests that Graves has two hours of time to find Hana while five minutes is his time limit. Graves is surprised by this and even Felton asks Vivi if that is okay. Hana looks a bit surprised-sad. Both parties agree with the terms.
Felton exclaims that it is time to play hide and seek. He happily tells sad-looking Hana to go out and hide. Graves is finally untied and happily gloats to Vivi that he will win this contest. Vivi just sits down and reads a book. Hana sadly looks at Vivi then goes out. Felton shouts for her to do her best for after 10 minutes, they will start looking for her. Hana goes to her room and hides inside one of the curtains. She wonders if Vivi really just needs 5 minutes to find her. She thought that Vivi looks quite unconcerned as he is just reading a book. If you lose, is it okay? Then, going back to akuma world, is it also okay? Graves opens the door and shouts are you there, brat? Looking around, Graves thought that there is no one who would hide in her own room. An arrow points to the curtain – hehe, there is one. =P Graves laughs that there must be some secret room. He goes out to look for it. Inside the curtain, Hana starts to cry and wonders if for Vivi, living together, is not something important for him. Hana then looks surprised when she hears the thunder. Looking out the window, Felton says it has become dark outside. Vivi closes his book and says it is just as he thought. Felton says time is up. He asks if five minutes is really okay. Vivi says, of course. Vivi confidently walks pass by Graves who is in a panic for he has already searched the whole place and yet, he can’t find Hana. Vivi wonders when has it started..ah that stormy night.
Flashback: Vivi has returned and Tony greeted him. He goes into his room and saw a bit of young Hana’s dress coming out from under his bed. He pulled up the bed covers and asked what is she doing there late at night. He told her that she should go back to her own room. Vivi looked surprised to see Hana in tears for she is usually smiling. He wondered what it is about as Hana quickly hugged him. Vivi exclaimed what is the matter. When the thunder roars again, Hana exclaims in fright. =P Vivi used his shoe/foot to push her off him. He asked if she is afraid of thunder. Hana cried that she is very afraid. He asked why is she then hiding under his bed. Holding on his right leg, Hana said that if Vivi is there, then she won’t be that afraid. Vivi looked surprised and said, okay, I know already so let go. Hana still clung on his leg and said she wouldn’t. For Hana, hiding under his bed is a compromise of Vivi being there. Since then, every time there is a thunderstorm at night, Hana will be hiding under his bed. If it thunders during the day, she would then clings on his right leg, much to Vivi’s irritation. End flashback.
Vivi opens the door to his room. Today, there is a thunderstorm during the day and yet, she cannot go to him. So, she will surely be here..surely, like a fool, shivering. Vivi pulls up the bed covers with his foot and exclaims, I have found you. Hana is holding her head in fright when the thunder roars. To Vivi’s surprise, Hana quickly hugs him. To his shock, Hana pushes him down as Vivi tries to tell her to wait. They fell down and he bumps his head on the floor. Ouch. Hana cries, why, why, does he need only five minutes to look for her. What if you didn’t find me?! Vivi says didn’t I just found you. Hana exclaims what if there is no thunderstorm. Vivi says then I’ll go look for you behind the curtains. Hana is surprised and says, wow, you’re amazing, Vivi knows everything. Vivi thought that he had already seen her hiding behind the curtains when she was young while playing hide and seek with the maid. Flashback: The maid exclaimed that she has found young Hana because Hana always hid there. Watching this, Vivi thought she is the fool among fools. End flashback. Vivi smiles and says of course, I know. I know everything all about Hana as a whole to the smallest detail. Hana blushes and looks at Vivi in surprise.
Felton announces that time is up and Vivi wins. Graves says that is hard to comprehend, Vivi already knows of Hana’s behavior. Vivi says he never said that he doesn’t know. Graves gets frustrated that he got tricked. Hana calls out to him and gives him a small bouquet of flowers and hopes that he cherishes them. Graves is wearing gloves so the flowers didn’t wither. Graves asks what is this about. Hana says it is a souvenir to bring back to akuma world. Graves angrily thought if it is to remind him of his stupidity. Hana says but regarding Vivi, she objects from giving Vivi to him. Graves starts to open the way back on the wall and says that’s enough, I’ll let you go. As he is about to climb in, Graves says it is a debt of gratitude for saving him from the sunlight. To Graves’ anger, Hana isn’t listening and exclaims that he made a hole again. Vivi says to inform him what kind of punishment that will be given to Graves. Felton says it could be cutting vegetables for 3 days. Graves angrily says that one day, he will surely cook and eat that accomplice. Hana exclaims goodbye, Graves. Graves angrily shouts for her not to call him as if they are close. And, Graves has finally went back. Hana happily says that Graves is really an interesting person. Vivi sighs and says yes, but he is really tired. Felton says that the rain has stopped so why don’t they have tea outside. Tony says he will then go and prepare it. Felton and Tony happily go out as Vivi angrily wonders why do they have to do it outside. Hana happily tells Vivi to come. Vivi complains that he is hungry. Hana says she is, too. While walking, Hana remembers Vivi saying ‘I have found you.’ Hana holds Vivi’s sleeve and says, Vivi, Hana likes Vivi, really like, in this whole world, really.. Vivi motions for her to stop. He smiles at her and says, I already knew that. Hana beams in happiness. Vivi holds her hand as they went for a cup of tea.
Hana’s fear of thunder reminds me of Ouran’s Haruhi. ^^;; Hana is so cute, as usual. =P She has quickly gotten into Graves’ good side. I’m not surprised if this is also how she got Felton to not bring Vivi back to akuma world. I’m still thinking that Hana is childish for her age, surely, it is because Vivi spoils her but then, that is her charm. I guess it isn’t surprising that Hana is a bit uneasy of Vivi’s thought of her especially about not leaving her. Vivi can be quite cold at times and aloof that Hana isn’t sure of his feelings for her. I kind of think that Hana does have romantic feelings for Vivi and this seems to be evident in the side story. As regards to Vivi’s feelings for her, I still somewhat dismiss it to liking someone whom he take care of though there are times it seems not to be especially from his reply at the end. As for the game, well, Vivi did tricked Graves. I guess Graves underestimated the bond between the two. It isn’t what he thought nor what he made Hana believe since Vivi seems to have been troubled by Hana ever since before yet he never thought of discarding her, in fact, he is afraid of losing her. Anyway, the series should have ended here but it was mentioned in the official site that this will be serialized starting this month. ^__^ So, I’ll do more of this when the Chinese scans of it are up. Also, I wonder if they will start it from chapter 1 again as in re-do it. ^^;; Oh well, let’s just see..when the new chapter is out. ^-^
Side Story: [It turned out that this should be the first chapter or rather, this is the chapter published first before chapter 1. I think it got good reviews that the author made three more chapters. Since many liked it, it will be continued as I mentioned above. ^__^ I’ll summaries this chapter since it is pretty nice like the other chapters. ^-^ It focuses on the time when Vivi doesn’t want to touch Hana.] Vivi is dressing up to go out at night but Tony tells him not to for Hana will be displeased. Vivi says there is nothing wrong with going out at night since for akumas, night is day. Tony tries to threaten Vivi that he will tell Hana about his going out at night. Vivi threatens to rip his mouth off if he did that. Tony quickly covers his mouth. Vivi thought that if Hana knew then she will surely insist on going with him for she likes to be always with him. While in the horse carriage, he remembers picking up Hana that one snowy night after he left akuma world. Scene changes to Vivi waking up, and is surprised to see Hana by his side and holding his hand. She greets him a good morning. Vivi quickly pulls away his hand and kicks Hana to the other side of his bed. Vivi shouts what is she doing. Hana says that she came to wake him up. Just then, Felton, accompanied by Tony, comes in exclaiming he came to play with them. Felton and Tony were shock to find Hana and Vivi on the bed together .
At the living room, Hana is busy attending to Vivi by fixing his hair which is out of place, giving him tea, and fixing his shoe. It is only when Hana tries to put flowers on his ear that Vivi elbows her away and tells her not to touch him. Felton says that Hana really fusses about, with Vivi. He tries to lecture her not to go casually go to a guy’s bed. Vivi says it is fine by him as long as she doesn’t touch him. Hana insists that she wants to. Felton tries to tell Vivi to tell Hana that she can’t do that. Then, there is the flashback when Hana always follows him when she was young and soon, she starts to give him flowers which withers when he touches it. But this doesn’t deter Hana from wanting to keep on giving him flowers everyday. He thought that he is baffled by Hana for no one has ever smiled at him like that. While picking roses, Hana asks Felton why doesn’t Vivi want to touch her. Felton says that Vivi is just embarrassed but Vivi will get used to it later on. He suggests that they have a party. Hana likes the idea as Felton wonders what’s good about temperamental and gloomy Vivi. Hana calls out to Vivi who is reading a book indoors. She exclaims that she will do their best as Vivi smiles at her. Vivi wonders what that is about. Vivi thought of his fear that he will lose Hana if he touches her just like when he touches flowers. But then, there is that time when Hana is sick, she asks him to hold her and tells him that she likes Vivi even if he is an akuma. He thought that she is quite captivating for saying that with a smile as if she knew of his fear.
Hana and Felton give Vivi an invitation to a tea party for the three of them. He is surprised to see that the time is 10am at the garden. While Hana and Tony are talking about the party, Vivi tries to kick Felton but hit the wall instead. Vivi angrily asks Felton why does an akuma who likes the dark have to go outside in the sun just to drink tea. Felton denies it and says it is Hana who wanted it. Felton wonders how did Vivi knew that it is his idea. Felton continues that she wants to hold his hand. Vivi tells Hana that he doesn’t want to go. She tries to hold Vivi and asks him to wait but Vivi quickly put up his hand up so that she won’t touch him. Vivi coldly tells her not to touch him as she wishes and how many times does he have to say it. Hana is shock as Vivi puts the invitation on her head and left. After Vivi left, Felton asks out loud what is Vivi’s problem. Hana is about to cry as she said that when he held her hand before, she thought that things will be okay. To Felton’s surprise, she determinedly says that she will not give up. On the day of the tea party, she will show him that there are flowers that won’t wither if he touches them so after that, Vivi can touch her and everyone will be happy. Felton asks what kind of flowers are those. Hana says they are origami [paper made] flowers, that can be touched by akumas. Felton says that is a great idea so he will help her out. That night, Hana makes a flower and wonders if Vivi will be happy about it. Reading a book, Vivi thought that even after 14 years, the scene of a flower withering is still in his mind and it appears when Hana touches him so he still can’t bring himself to touch Hana.
The next day, Vivi wakes up and finds it unusually quiet. He dresses up and opens the door to find a rose and the invitation. As the rose withers in his hand, Vivi thought that didn’t he say he doesn’t want to go. Felton happily greets him and says as usual Vivi is looking gloomy. Vivi asks why does Felton always coming to his house. Felton says that he is Vivi’s secret friend so of course, he would come. Vivi says who is his secret friend, so go back already. Felton says that he is helping Hana make flowers that akumas can touch. He shows him the flowers he made for the tea party. He tells Vivi to cherish Hana. Vivi looks at a origami flower. Hana comes in and happily greets Vivi. Vivi asks if she has finished her studies. Hana looks gloomy and to Vivi and Felton’s surprise, she sits beside Felton. Felton asks shouldn’t she sit beside Vivi. Hana says that she will become a girl who listens to Vivi so she won’t casually touch him. Vivi praises her for it and Hana is happy about that. Looking at the flower she is holding, she gives it to Felton. Vivi’s eyes are wide in surprise. Felton tells her to wait for he will wear gloves so that he can hold it. Felton says he is very happy. He thought even if he is just Vivi’s replacement. He asks Hana what is the flower called. Hana happily says she doesn’t know. Looking at this, Vivi starts to look angry, or rather jealous. =P Vivi wonders to himself why is he angry. Since then, Hana doesn’t dare come close to Vivi. They eat far apart from each other by sitting at the opposite ends of a very long table. Hana shows him a picture but she is standing at the door. Every morning, Vivi wakes up late as Tony calls out that Mary [the maid?] has made morning tea though it isn’t morning anymore. But every time, Hana will still leave a flower in front of his door. He then sees Hana and Felton together making origami flowers. They say it is really nice. Felton puts one on Hana’s hair and says it suits her. Vivi wonders why is he feeling uneasy. All of a sudden, Hana is surprised to see Felton bleeding on the floor. Lol, obvious Vivi kicked him in jealousy.
While walking in the hallway, a origami flower flies by Vivi. Hana tries to get it and she bumps into Vivi. Vivi holds her up and asks what is she doing. Hana says that one of the flowers has blew away. Seeing that Vivi is holding her, Hana quickly pulls her hand away from Vivi. Vivi is surprised by this. Hana quickly moves far away from him and apologizes for getting touched by him. This made Vivi angry and he tells her that he already told her he isn’t going to the tea party. Back inside, Felton asks if Hana got the flower. He is surprised to see Hana crying as she hides her face in the flower. Hana says that she knew making those flowers is useless if Vivi doesn’t go to the party. She tries to bear it and wait. She tries not to give up..until Vivi holds her hand but it is all useless. Doesn’t Vivi want to hold her? Does he hate her? She asks Felton what she should do because she is really sad. Felton tries to comfort her. That night, Vivi wonders why is he so surprise when it is Hana herself who drew away from him when he touched her. He wonders why is he so afraid of losing Hana and afraid of touching her. Even so, why do I.. The next day, Tony looks up the sky and thought it is a nice day for a tea party. Two eyes flashes behind him. Vivi kicks Tony who now lies on the grass, bleeding. Vivi orders him to prepare the horse carriage. Tony is shock that Vivi is awake so early in the morning. Vivi puts his foot on Tony and tells him to do as he said for he is in a foul mood since he wasn’t able to sleep a wink last night.
The maid calls out to Hana to already come to the garden. Hana lies back to her bed and thought that the party has no meaning if Vivi doesn’t come. She cries on the bed when she is surprised to see Vivi coming from the window with some presents and her invitation. He asks her why she has such a face when today there is a tea party. He has already come so be happy a bit. Hana is surprised as Vivi gives her a new dress and a pair of shoes. The maid happily exclaims that it suits Hana. Hana is blushing and thanks Vivi. She cries and asks why does Vivi hate her. Vivi asks her if he hates her, why would he bother buy those things for her. Vivi says if she drew her hand away, he won’t forgive her. Afraid of touching Hana but still, why do I want to touch her. I’m really not normal. Vivi pulls her to him and hugs her. Hana cries in happiness as she hugs him, too. The maid blushes over this. Vivi walks with Hana to the tea party in the garden as Felton and Tony are busy preparing. Later on, Felton looks down and asks if Vivi is asleep. Vivi is lying asleep on the grass by the shade of the tree as Hana is happily putting the origami flowers on and around Vivi. Hana says yes, because Vivi said he wasn’t able to sleep last night. Felton muses that it is like covering flowers on the dead. Felton tells Hana to leave Vivi and just eat some freshly baked biscuits. Hana says she will. Felton goes ahead. Hana looks at sleeping Vivi and decides to quickly touch him. She touches his hair. Hana takes this opportunity to kiss sleeping Vivi on the cheek. Felton tries to call Hana again and is surprised to see Hana holding on to Vivi, sleeping. Scowling, Felton exclaims that it is really an amazing scene. I’m really not normal that I let myself do what this child wants to do. I have really gotten myself a huge troublesome thing.
Hehe, Vivi got a dose of his own medicine. =P It is amusing to see him getting jealous and angry. It really made him appreciate what Hana is doing for him especially the flowers. Hehe In the end, he can’t bear it anymore and decided to go to the party as well as hold Hana. Well, he did spend all night thinking what to do. It is true though that Vivi does things for Hana even if he doesn’t want to do it at first. This is pretty much the main premise of the other three chapters – moon watching, Halloween and hide and seek wherein, Vivi ends up participating just for Hana. I do wonder though why Felton and Tony aren’t bothered that much by the sunlight while Vivi and Graves does. Does it mean the more ‘evil’ akuma you are, the more you fear the sun? guess the author will explain that later on. I tend to wonder if Felton likes Hana or he is just pretending to be so that Vivi would get to be closer to Hana. It is thanks to Felton that Vivi get jealous over what Hana usually does for him. Anyway, if he did, I don’t think he can win against Vivi since for Hana, Vivi is the one she truly likes. ^-^

Yukito rides on a bicycle and asks Kotori to hop on the back. Kotori is embarrassed and said she won’t. Yukito asks why not. Kotori says others will have a misunderstanding if they see them together. She thought that it is really embarrassing and she has never done it with a boy before. Yukito starts say out loud that Kotori likes playing shoujo dating games. In the end, Kotori relents and rides on the bicycle. Kotori thought that this way, Yukito always get to do as he wishes. Yukito looks up the sky and says that it seems that it is going to rain soon. Kotori muses that it is now her turn looking at Yukito’s back when at the classroom, it is he who is looking at hers. She holds him tight that Yukito looks surprised. He tells Kotori that her hand is now inside her shirt and that seems quite ‘lusty’. Kotori shouts that she didn’t mean it and she tries to apologize. Since she kept on moving, Yukito tries to tell her to stop it but they ended up falling down. Kotori apologizes and asks if Yukito is alright. Yukito says he is alright and the bicycle isn’t damaged. He then sees that they are near an arcade so he asks her if she wants to play a bit. Kotori tries to protest but Yukito says it is okay, it is a date. Kotori then sees that she has an text on her mobile phone from Harada who asks where is she, the guy from Shou Sekae is already there. Kotori wonders what to do as Yukito tells her to hurry up. Kotori writes back that she isn’t finishing doing the school errand. She wonders if she can also learn more about Yukito.
She enters the arcade. Looking around, Yukito asks what does she want to play. Kotori thinks that they are just playing but if it is like a date, it would make her a bit nervous. Yukito points to a game and says that they play that one. Kotori says she wants to play this other one. It is a photo sticker booth of ‘Memories of Falling in Love’ game. Kotori exclaims that she doesn’t know that such a booth exists. Yukito looks a bit gloomy but lets her play it if she wants to. Kotori says he must be laughing at her. In the end, Kotori says she wants to take many pictures and Yukito can go play the other games himself. Yukito is in a foul mood [jealous?] as Kotori happily chooses the different frames and decides on a Hikaru-kissing frame. Just when the picture is about to be taken, Yukito quickly pushes her to the side so that the picture would come out as Hikaru kissing him. Kotori says that Yukito is too much, why is it Yukito and Hikaru. Yukito says that he’ll just give them to her. To his dismay, Kotori says she doesn’t want them. Yukito asks what’s so good about the game. Kotori says that Hikaru is cool, doesn’t lie, athletic, nice and can do everything. He is a bit ‘slow’ but then that is his cute side. Also, he doesn’t hurt people. Yukito looks surprise by this last description. Yukito asks her to think about reality. Kotori says if someone surpass Hikaru then she will think about it. Yukito exclaims then why don’t we play that. Kotori is surprised that there is a ‘Memories of Falling in Love’ fighting game. Kotori asks if he really wants to play that game or he just hates ‘Memories of Falling in Love’. Yukito tells her to use the Hikaru player and he’ll beat her. After a round, Yukito is shock that Kotori using the Hikaru character has beaten him. Kotori explains that her brother plays this kind of fighting game with her. Yukito is surprised that she has a brother. She tells him that he is currently in third year high school. Yukito says he also have a brother like hers and he is quite annoying. Kotori laughs and says that’s right.
Yukito says that there is a new flavor of Chupa Chups from the convenient store - lemon. Kotori asks if it is delicious. Yukito gives her a lemon flavor lollipop. Kotori thanks him. Yukito says that he is the first who tasted that flavor so surely, this time, he will win. Kotori says that isn’t something to boast about. To Kotori’s amusement, she won again. Yukito is furious. Kotori doesn’t want to play anymore but Yukito insists on another game. Kotori thought that spending time with Yukito and it gives her a bit of happy feeling. Kotori says is this what it feels to have a male friend. Yukito is shock and asks, what. Kotori says how can she say it, she doesn’t quite understand it what this feeling is because she doesn’t have it before so she doesn’t know. Kotori becomes embarrassed at what is she saying. She changes the topic and asks Yukito if he really likes that game. Yukito asks why. She says because he kept on wanting to play it. Yukito becomes gloomy and loses strength. He asks if she is really ‘slow’ and a bit naïve though that characteristic of hers makes her interesting. Yukito says if she has all those interesting expressions in real life, then she can easily get along with others. Kotori is embarrassed and wonders what Yukito meant by that. She kept on thinking of it that she loses her concentration. Yukito finally wins the game to Kotori’s surprise. Yukito says that there’s no big deal about Hikaru. Kotori reminds him that in the earlier battles, he just lost. While Kotori is still musing over what Yukito said, Yukito playfully puts a photo sticker on her forehead. Yukito says that she is too stiff earlier but now, she is okay. Kotori looks surprised. Kotori wonders if Yukito really meant what he said and that before she is really irritated with him but now...
Yukito asks is she listening. Kotori snaps out of it and asks what is it. Yukito asks for her birthday. Kotori sees that he is playing a ‘fate’ love match game. Yukito says, tell me. Kotori is embarrassed and said, August 27. Yukito looks shock and exclaims, no way. Kotori is surprised when she learns that they share the same birthday. Yukito asks what about her blood type. Kotori says O type. Yukito looks at her in surprise. Kotori exclaims you’re the same, too?! They both thought that they seemed to be destined for each other because of all the similarities they have – same surname, same age, same classroom, both have a brother, same blood type, same birthday and same collective feelings. They look at each other. Yukito asks if she is thinking of the same thing. Kotori asks what same thing. Yukito says it is surprising for a lot is the same. Kotori says it is just a coincidence. Though, Kotori is indeed thinking of the same thing that they are destined because of the similarities. Yukito is a bit disappointed that Kotori thinks it is just a coincidence so he decided to make her believe. Yukito says if he manages to get something, then she should believe. He plans to play a claw vending machine/ufo catcher. Kotori tells him not to try hard about it and even if he gets one, it doesn’t have any significance/meaning to it. Yukito seriously says if I get something, we are going steady. Kotori looks surprised as Yukito puts in a 500 yen coin in the machine. Kotori blushes and wonders if Yukito is just joking around. Upon seeing how serious Yukito is in playing it as he kept on trying to get something, Kotori begins to wonder if he is serious.
She shakes that thought and exclaims even if he sincerely trying to get it, he just doesn’t have the talent to get it. Kotori freezes when Yukito looks at her. Something drops from the machine. Yukito picks it up and smiles at her. He says, I got it. He gives it to her and says that it has a significance. Kotori looks at it and it is a necklace with a ‘little bird’ pendant. Kotori blushes as Yukito asks, what’s your answer? To Yukito’s shock, Kotori shouts that she is going home. She quickly rushes out of the arcade as Yukito tries to tell her to wait up. When she does out, it is raining that she quickly covers her head with her hand. To her surprise, Yukito throws her jacket on her head and pulls her to him. He asks her why did she ran away. If you didn’t answer then, that means I should wait. Kotori is blushing and stutters while saying, but..a guy like Yukito shouldn’t go steady with me.. you are too popular with girls, we cannot be together. She did thought about it but she absolutely decided try not to think of it. She feels that he is just paying attention to her so that he is going to use her and play with her. Yukito shouts what, really? Don’t absurdly decide on things by yourself! This isn’t what I’m thinking but what Kotori is thinking, isn’t it? Yukito gives her a kiss on the lips. He says, I like you. Do you understand, stupid? Kotori looks a bit surprised.
That was pretty cute and amusing. I find it highly amusing that she can beat him in a fighting game. Kotori obviously didn’t know why Yukito is intent on beating the fighting game. It is actually symbolical for Yukito as it is like beating up the rival in Kotori’s heart and that is the game character, Hikaru. The ‘same in everything’ is a nice touch to everything. I guess that kind of confession is what Kotori needs for her to realize that Yukito likes her. She is quite clueless about that and pretty much about her own feelings for him. But then, maybe she does know but she just denies it and thought that it couldn’t be true.

Hanabi recalls that Chikai Uno is the first guy’s name she remembered in high school. She quickly tells Xiao Xu that they can leave since she had finished asking her boyfriend Masato about making the baskets. Xiao Xu said they did. Just as they are leaving, Chikai’s glasses friend shouts out to Mei Yi and asks if she has a boyfriend. Mei Yi turns around and says that she doesn’t because having one is quite troublesome. After they left, glasses friend is nose-bleeding and shouts, moe to the max. Chikai and two other friends were shock. As they leave, Chikai asks he thought glasses friend is a S for he likes M girls. Glasses friend asks if that is so. [S – sadist; M – masochist] At home, Hanabi’s father is going gaga over Hanabi’s mother. He happily looks at her and says that she haven’t changed since the day that he met her. While preparing in the kitchen, Hanabi’s mother says that is just his imagination. The three names of the Marui sisters came from the day when the father met the mother. When he saw her, his mouth is like a port [Minato – eldest] when there are many fireworks [Hanabi – middle] all around and she is eating apricot/almond [Anzu – youngest] candy. When Nanpa is brought to the house, they miswrote his name from Dacha to Nanpa. That night, Hanabi is tossing her pillow on the bed as she frustrates about what Chikai did – putting the ribbon on her wrist. She decides to give the ribbon to Nanpa. Nanpa ends up biting and ruining it for there is a smell of a stranger on it. That night, Hanabi is a bit uneasy.
While in the welding workshop, glasses friend tells Chikai that Hanabi girl really has that ‘reject’ expression. Chikai said it is the same with Mei Yi. Glasses friend start to say it is really moe for the feeling it gave him. Chikai says he is really a super M. Chikai asks Masato if what he is making is for the festival. Masato tells him that he is making love shape basket for his girlfriend. Glasses guy asks if it is the glasses girl who is Mei Yi’s friend. Masato shouts for him not to call her glasses girl when she is his girlfriend. Masato shouts that her name is Xiao Xu. Glasses friend asks Masato to let him help in making the baskets for he wants to get to know those girls. Chikai tells glasses guy that he is really cute. Glasses guy tells him to shut up and won’t he be making one for Hanabi. Chikai says he just have a special sentiment for Hanabi. Glasses guy says does he want to expose to the other girls that – ‘Chikai has a girlfriend’. Chikai says he isn’t hiding it for he didn’t thought of Hanabi even a slightest bit to be apart from other girls. Later on, Hanabi likes the baskets that were made. Masato happily shows Xiao Xu and others the baskets that they have made. Behind Masato are the other guys who helped so that they would get to know Xiao Xu’s friends. Hanabi is hiding behind the others. Xiao Xu thanks them. The boys are whispering that Mei Yi looks cute and if Yuan Shi becomes a bit thinner, she will also be cute. They asks each other where is the other one. One of them said that she is hiding behind. Hanabi pulls Xiao Xu’s shirt and asks if she can leave already. Xiao Xu says she can after she thanks the boys. She quickly bows and shouts, thanks. Then she runs away. The rest starts to talk that Hanabi is really strange.
Catching her breath, she thought that she shouldn’t act that way but she really can’t help it. She then sees the principal calling out to her. Hanabi thought that going close to old men should be okay. The principal asks her to help bring the gardening tools inside the storage room. To her shock, the principal asks Chikai who is passing by to help her. He exclaims Ha. She exclaims Ge. The principal thought that they are calling him ‘hage’ = bald. He asks where then quickly left. The two are then forced to carry the tools to the storage. Two guys are passing by and whistles. Chikai is angry and shouts what are you whistling about. Hanabi quickly closes her eyes and waits for the two to pass by. Chikai says he thinks that she is too excessive but is that how it is to hate guys. Hanabi tries to explain that it isn’t like that for when she sees boys, hear their voices, she quickly feels awful and she can’t do anything about it – feeling awful and afraid when seeing someone who looks like a boy. To her surprise, Chikai has already taken the basket of tools she is carrying. She looks at Chikai then quickly turns away. I think it is Chikai who said that she is like a kid. Suddenly, the door then slams shut because of the wind. Hanabi panics and tries to open the door to no avail. Hanabi starts to scream, no, no, I’ll get pregnant. She shouts for someone to come and open the door. Chikai says they have to do it one step further before she gets pregnant. Hanabi freaks out even more. Chikai holds her back and tells her to keep calm, a person like her, he doesn’t have feelings for nor think to that extent.
Hanabi thought arms encircling her and easily grasping her arms. This strength, and the one who said that a person like her, he doesn’t have feeling for nor think to that extent is a BOY. Hanabi shouts that even a guy like him, she still has a phobia. She elbows his stomach and manages to open the door. She realizes that if she tries to open it calmly, it would open. She quickly runs away. Folding his arms and a bit angry, Chikai says, Chikai-sama is really angry. Xiao Xu and others are holding the two wire baskets that were made. They muses that it is really cute and really well-made. Hanabi’s face is all red when she finds them. She shouts that she has decided not to talk with any guys. Mei Yi asks is it because boys are too troublesome. Yuan Shi says that it would be better to just spend the money on buying food for oneself. Xiao Xu says if that is so, then when she marries Masato, she can’t inviting Hanabi to her house. Hanabi shouts for them to listen to her. Mei Yi says is it because she hates guys, they already know that and sick of hearing it. Hanabi cries and says that this is really more grave..her peaceful life,..the number one reason is of course, Chikai Uno so don’t blame me if I choose not to have boyfriends. During the cultural festival, Hanabi happily looks at the girls who are visiting and thought that this is really girls paradise – cute and beautiful. A couple of jr high students ask if she is from L class. They asks if they can do those things/crafts if they enter the school. Hanabi holds one of the girls’ hand and said it won’t be any problem even though she went to that school because of a different reason and it is quite hard getting in but they will have many friends there and they will be really happy doing things together – happiness is victory. Yuan Shi whispers to Hanabi that she didn’t answer their question. The girls say they understand and thank her as they left.
Hanabi nervously thought that she could have made fewer girls wanting to go in the school. Looking at the brochure, Yuan Shi says that it seems the principal made something for the festival. Hanabi is really happy to see the plant sculpture of the principal in the shape of his family dog. Hanabi thought that it is like Nanpa, a green colored Nanpa. She takes pictures of it on her mobile phone. She then bumps someone from behind who said that her expression doesn’t look bad. Hanabi looks up and is shock to see Chikai who said, hi. Hanabi quickly retreats and apologizes. She doesn’t want to deal with guys. Chikai looks surprised by Hanabi’s short ponytail from behind. [My guess it is either she isn’t wearing her ribbon or it is the same hairdo he had before] After she left, glasses guy says that Chikai deliberately stood there so that Hanabi will bump into him. Could it be he is into her? Chikai says how can that be, he just doesn’t want to admit that there is a girl who exists that doesn’t fall for his charms. Is it really phobia? In this circumstances, it should be forcibly removed. He gives Hanabi a thumbs down.
There is a long line of boys who wants to buy their onigiri. Hanabi is teamed up with Mei Yi and Hanabi starts to look sick. Hanabi hopes that it finishes up soon. To her surprise, Chikai is with there with his glasses friend. He says, give me one ♥. Hanabi tries to imagine that she doesn’t know him and he is just a stranger. Glasses guy happily says that they used the baskets as Mei Yi says of course they would. Hanabi asks if one is okay. She gives him the onigiri while looking away. She says, thanks for buying, 120 yen please. This made Chikai angry. Chikai takes the onigiri and is about to place his payment for the onigiri, he holds Hanabi’s hand. He tells her that if this is for their school paper, she should remember to look at the customer’s face. Hanabi is shock as Chikai tells Mei Yi, hey you, I don’t know your name, can I borrow her for a moment? He tells glasses guy to be Hanabi’s replacement and glasses guy is just happy to do it. Glasses guy starts selling as Mei Yi yawns in boredom. Chikai is dragging Hanabi as she shouts for him to let her go. She shouts you are really a guy among guys, aren’t you, a really thick-headed guy, the kind that I really hate! Everyone starts to look at them. Hanabi is embarrassed by what she just did. Chikai angrily says that’s good but saying that is still quite early, I will show you the other sides of me. Hanabi looks distressed as her ‘scarf-hat’ falls down. She looks up and sees the signboard of the place where Chikai is bringing her. It is ‘Secret Boys Room’
Hehe, can you guess what Chikai will do to her there? =P I think it is basically an ego think for Chikai that Hanabi is disgusted with him that he is ‘bullying’ her. It seems that the longer she is meeting Chikai by accident, she seems to be getting immune to him. She did faint before but now, she didn’t. She doesn’t find him repulsive until she actually remembers that he is a boy. I find her really naïve that she thought being in a room with Chikai would get her pregnant. Lol Actually, by the way Hanabi is acting and one doesn’t know her phobia, it does seem to be really rude. Thank the guys for the baskets that way as if they have a disease or something. Actually, it reminded me of one of our customers at the store. He developed this ‘phobia’ that he won’t come near the store or want anyone to get close to him. He would shout what he wanted to buy and even leave/throw the money at the counter. We have to put the things he purchased at the street. When no one is near, he’ll get it. Our secretary and others thought of him as really rude – weird though we get used to him doing that already. Anyway, I would give special mention to Hanabi’s father who is really cute and sweet. He named his daughters from all the things that were around the time he fell in love with his wife. =P

Yuuki narrates that she has been trying hard so that she can meet Kaname’s expectation that she doesn’t want to become someone, who would feel ashamed when she faces Kaname after a long time. This kind of thinking is quite intense that my reaction is in my words. Because of this, I have hurt Zero many times. This is surely my retribution. Zero is rushing out of the building as the president tries to stop him and telling him to wait for there is something he has to say. But the president ends up stopping as he puts his hand on his face. Outside, Zero bumps into Ichiru. Ichiru looks surprised at Zero’s hurried glance. Zero runs away as Ichiru calls his name in puzzlement. Ichiru is then called by Rido, together with Takuma, who is waiting for him. [I’ll be using Takuma instead of Ichijou so that I’ll not confuse with his name and Ichiru’s ^^;] Ichiru gives the bottle of blood back to Rido then bows to him. Holding the bottle then crushing it, Rido says is that so, in the end, my blood wasn’t used. It’s fine. No matter what happen as long as there is ‘Kuran’ family blood flowing in that girl’s body, then it is okay. Ichiru says he will then go guard Rido’s coffin. Rido says, how gracious of you, I will fulfill your wish so before I’m resurrected, do your work well. Ichiru says, yes, please grant ‘death’ to those who had caused Shizuka-sama’s death so from the bottom of my heart, I hope that Rido-sama’s real body will be resurrected. Takuma looks away and thought, Kaname..is there really no other road that you can go..or like before, you just given up on finding any other way out.
Still at the ledge of a building, Kaname is biting into Yuuki. Yuuki slowly wakes up and thought that it is cold yet she feels a bit warm. She then realizes that Kaname is biting into her neck. She calls out his name as she holds his hair, probably trying to pull him away. Instead, Kaname silences her by putting his hand on her mouth. She tries to struggle as there is a bit of tears in her eyes, when she realizes what’s buried in her neck -- Kaname's teeth. Yuuki feels something different and wonders what it is then her heart beats twice. It seems as her outer shell starts to crack and peel away from her. She then becomes unconscious. Kaname stops biting on her and wipes the blood off his mouth. Touching Yuuki’s face, Kaname says Yuuki..no matter what, only you, I wish can.. Kaname bites his wrist and drinks his own blood. Then, he passes that blood into Yuuki’s mouth that it would seem that he is kissing her. Yuuki wakes up again and blushes as she thought Kaname is kissing her. She tries to struggle when she realizes that she is made to drink blood. Kaname finishes and wipes the blood that drips from Yuuki’s mouth. Kaname asks, have you awaken? Yuuki..do you know who I am? Yuuki sees a younger Kaname superimposed on Kaname. She touches his face and is in tears. She says, you are my... Yuuki hears a footstep above that she looks up to see a really angry Zero. Zero says he smelled Yuuki’s blood which he easily recognizes. Yuuki nervously tries to call his name. Zero becomes really angry and points his gun to Kaname. He shouts that there are ‘two’ vampires’ breath, Kaname!! You made Yuuki.. Kaname still looks calm and just looks at Zero. Yuuki shouts for Zero to stop. She shields Kaname and tells this guy, he is my..is my..brother. Kaname still looking coldly as Zero looks surprised. Yuuki starts to cry and starts to apologize to Zero.
Yuuki feels that the fog that is blocking her memories has uplifted. Yuuki has been born to her mother – Juri Kuran and her father – Yuu Kuran. Yuuki Kuran is the name she obtained from her parents. Flashback: young Yuuki is reading a book with her parents. She perked up when she heard something. She rushed to the door while shouting that brother has come back. Young Kaname came in as Yuuki hugged him. Kaname said that he is back and Yuuki’s body is really warm. Yuuki said but his body is icy cold. Kaname said it is because it is snowing outside. He explained that snow is really white, beautiful and cold but since Yuuki is like the sun, she gives him warmth so he isn’t cold anymore. Yuuki narrates that she doesn’t know what is the real snow nor sun because she never went out to the ‘outside’ world. Her whole world is the basement where she lives and it doesn’t have even a single window. Juri asked Kaname if he had fun playing with Takuma. Kaname said he did and thanked her for letting him go out and play. Juri said that’s good but then, it is a bit strange. According to her plan, Kaname should have been influenced by Takuma by a little bit before he came home. Juri commented that she likes Takumi and he doesn’t seem to be the grandson of that stinking old man. Observing him, Juri said that it seems that nothing has changed with Kaname. Pointing to Kaname, Juri told him that he really is too unusually serious. He is so calm and collected that he is the same as if he is the same with some thing. Should I say that you are too experienced/self-important..you..definitely get it from your grandfather’s side, it definitely is. Kaname just repeated too experienced. Yuuki who is standing between them shouts for her mother not to bully Kaname. Juri hugged Kaname and said that this isn’t bullying, it is loving care. Kaname blushed a bit.
It is snowing outside. Kaname told Yuuki that he had seen a rose which blooms every 10 years but he heard that if it is picked, there is no way to preserve it so he wasn’t able to bring it back for her to see. Kaname promises that the next time it bloomed again, he will asks someone to put in a resin. Yuuki asked if it is beautiful. Kaname apologizes and says that Yuuki is really amazing. He won’t tell her anymore for it will make her want to go outside. Kaname asked his father for how long Yuuki can’t go outside. Yuu said that they have to keep her from the eyes of other vampires so Yuuki’s existence a secret. Because lately, the council of Ancients, either it is because of the pure blood’s precious existence [rarity] or pure blood’s strength, they want to exploit it so..of course, going against them would be no problem but Yuuki is still too young. Yuu doesn’t want Yuuki to be stained by them nor have any relationship with them. It may be a parents’ one-sided wish of doing things but we really want to protect Yuuki. Yuuki told Kaname that she is fine so he can stop making such a face which looks scary. Kaname held Yuuki’s head to him and said that he will always be by her side. Yuuki said yes, if he is there, she won’t be afraid of anything even of her scary dream. She told him that lately, she is having such scary dreams – red and blue eye mismatched colored pupils are staring at one direction..always staring at her.
Then, soon, the warm happy days has suddenly proclaimed its conclusion. Rido, a dark-skinned man – in his real body, arrived at their house and said come..become my sacrificial offering. Yuu and Juri came out and saw many others killed around Rido. Yuu addresses Rido as his brother and said, really, even under the surveillance of the Council of Ancients, you can still come here. Rido told them that he has come for the ‘princess’ whom they take great pains to hide. Juri angrily shouted you *** [insert curse], coming again to make my child... Kaname is keeping Yuuki company as she is scared. She told Kaname that mother is really angry, father is, too. Kaname tries to comfort her by telling her not to worry because he is by her side. Yuuki protested but..there are many smells of blood outside and it is as if something scary is coming. Really scared, she held on Kaname then she is shock as she said that she can now smell father’s blood. Kaname apologized and said that she must be really scared. Hugging her, he said it seems that I was too intoxicated with the happy times before but I have already decided so..I will definitely prepare a place well, for you..a place where Yuuki doesn’t have to be scared again. Juri suddenly came in to the room. Yuuki rushed to her and asks where is father. Juri told Kaname that he will leave Yuuki to her. He apologized and said about Rido, it is proper that I will the one to deal with him personally. Juri kissed Kaname’s cheek and thanked him. She told him that after today, she will be troubling him to take care of Yuuki. Kaname looked surprised.
Kaname just stand outside a room wherein Juri took crying Yuuki in. Yuuki kept on calling for him. Juri told her she will completely make any of Yuuki’s essence as a vampire to sleep so that she will become an ordinary ‘human’. Juri hugged Yuuki who is still shouting for Kaname for there is a scary guy outside who is coming. Juri said even though using this skill, I won’t be able to accompany you by your side but mother..can help you feel/know what it is like to be happy. I hope that you won’t hate me for doing this unauthorized decision. Yuuki looked surprised as Juri’s blood start to flow from her face. Juri said that when Yuuki wakes up, she won’t remember anything. Blood splatters – probably Juri ‘exploded’ as Yuuki looked shock. Blackout then snow. End flashback. Yuuki faints as she says Sorry..Zero.. Looking sad, Kaname holds her up. Zero is still stunned and says..brother..younger sister. Kaname looks up to Zero and says, honestly, if I can simply be born as her real ‘brother’ in this world, then I would be a bit more happy.
Well, it turned out that they aren’t blood related though they seem to treat each other as siblings. I wonder if Yuuki is adopted hence they are not related. If she is adopted, I do wonder why Juri is so protective of her...more than Kaname if he is her son. It made me think that Kaname isn’t Juri’s son. My basis for that is how furious Juri was when she learns that Rido is after her again and how she thanks Kaname for dealing with Rido. I’m thinking if she is her son, shouldn’t she want to protect him, too unless of course, she knew how strong Kaname was so she just let him be. After all, Kaname caused huge damage on Rido’s original body that he needed to recuperate for 10 years. Since Kaname needs to grow stronger by drinking Shizuka’s blood, it made me think doesn’t his powers grow as he ages? I mean if he can hurt Rido when he was young, why can’t he do it again? Speaking of powers, I wonder if Kaname can possess people, too, just like how Shizuka and Rido can. Back to that theory, since Aidou have already met the Kuran couple before so they could have already been a couple before Yuuki was born. So, maybe Yuuki is just plain adopted but from whom? =P Juri has a dream and that is for humans and vampires to co-exist so I think Yuuki is the key to fulfilling that dream hence they are protecting her. Rido is probably after Yuuki to kill her. Yuu did said that they can fight against Rido if only Yuuki isn’t too young. I’m taking that she can do some damage to Rido unless of course, he meant Yuuki is too young to defend herself. Since Rido was after Yuuki before he lost his body, it is obvious that he isn’t after her for his resurrection. I’m thinking that since Rido likes power and he is after all being addressed, majesty, so he could indeed be the type of I-want-to-rule-the-world villain. Yuuki seems to be the obstacle to that, otherwise, why would he bother to keep on trying to get Yuuki. I do wonder why Rido thinks everything is okay since Yuuki has ‘Kuran’ blood. I think that Yuu didn’t anticipate that Rido is controlling the council of Ancients that is why they were surprised by the attack. Under surveillance, yeah right, they are in cahoots with each other especially how Ichiou [Takuma’s grandfather] curtseys and bows to Rido at present. This is probably why Kaname is so secretive and doesn’t trust anyone or rather any vampires. I think that they shouldn’t have let Kaname go out and play with Takumi. I think that Kaname is followed home and they were attacked. Ah, Ichiru is really just a coffin/body caretaker from Shizuka to Rido. ^^; I think he knows that Shizuka hates Rido but he just swallowed his pride just to avenge Shizuka. After all, he is no match for Kaname and probably even Zero. We already know that he wants both Kaname and Zero dead..well, I think he is still wavering a bit on Zero, but I wonder if that includes Yuuki. She is after all involved as to what happened that night.
I’m really amused with Juri and I can say that she can be assured that her plan on making Takuma influence Kaname has worked. Since Takuma’s grandfather adopted Kaname after his parents’ death, he probably spend a lot of time with Takuma. Takuma’s ‘being happy’ has rubbed off on Kaname. Hehe It is evident in scenes when Kaname and Takuma teased Aidou, and Kaname giving that cursed doll gift to Zero. I think Kaname learns to joke around though looking serious from Takuma. I’m still have my misgivings as to Takuma really sided with Rido. Because of circumstances, I think he can just play along and be a ‘spy’ of some sort. He seems to know a lot about Kaname than the others. As for whether Kaname thinks of Yuuki as a sister only, browsing over the past chapters. Most of what he did can be in the context of protecting and loving Yuuki as a sister except for some scenes like wanting Yuuki’s chocolate and being all over her when she went to the party. I do find it weird for Kaname to leave Yuuki there after confessing to her and that ‘blackmail’ to become his lover. I also realize the reason why Kaname is stabbing Zero’s picture. It was after Zero bit Yuuki. As a brother who is tasked to protect his sister, Kaname must be furious but can’t do much anything about it that would reveal who Yuuki really was. I guess his patience reached its peak that he decided to just give Zero some of his blood to stop him from biting into his sister and get him to owe him. Two birds in one stone. There are also some scene of Kaname looking ‘tired’ especially after the party when he caught Yuuki going out of the room. It made me think he is tired of protecting her when she is oblivious of her own true self. I mean, they spend all that time protecting her and even Juri sacrificed her life then here is Yuuki walking to a party where many vampires are gathering. I guessing that Kaname at that time, wanted to bite Yuuki already so that she knows the real situation is. About Kaname giving that one every 10 years blooming rose to Yuuki is also in the context of giving it to Yuuki as a sister for he promised to show it to her before she lost her memories. I guess Kaname befriended the president to prepare for that safe place for Yuuki. I think the president knows Juri and they must have been friends since he did said he is fulfilling her wish for humans and vampires to co-exist. I do wonder if Kaname will still pretend as Yuuki’s lover when Yuuki’s past memories have returned. I guess that would more or less, be the gauge if it will still be Kaname x Yuuki. I’m still a bit unsatisfied with Kaname x Yuuki because I can’t shake off the feeling that Kaname deserves better. ^^;; Maybe this stems from the fact that I don’t quite like Yuuki. ^^;
As for Zero, poor guy, the girl he would give up his life to turned out to be a vampire. We already know he hates vampires, indiscriminately so it is no surprise why he should be shock. I do recognize the fact that Zero likes Yuuki but knowing this, what would he do now? He just owe a vampire his life and swore to give his life to her. Actually, it is amusing to note that he really owes Kaname a lot – saving him from the Council of Ancients for being accused of killing Shizuka and giving him blood to stop him from going level E yet he feels he doesn’t need to be grateful for all of that and ready to kill him anytime if he turns Yuuki into a vampire. Contrast to Yuuki, who just temporarily relieves his pain by giving him her blood and always getting in trouble that he always saves her, Zero feels that she owes Yuuki a lot. Ya, it probably stems that Zero’s thought process is vampire = evil = hate. I wonder how is he going to act around Kaname now. Kaname is now the brother of the girl he likes. A typical boyfriend would try to win the hearts of his girlfriend’s siblings. Hehe, the lesson we can learn here is don’t hate people just because they are different from you or people who are the same kind who killed your parents because you’ll never know how they would be connected to you later on. Well, maybe thanks to Yuuki, Zero will now not hate ALL vampires as Yuuki wasn’t afraid of ALL vampires because of Kaname. About Juri’s sealing of Yuuki’s nature of being a vampire, does that mean she sealed of her blood’s potency? I mean, is Yuuki a pureblood, too? If she is, Zero doesn’t need to rely on Kaname again, he can go back sucking Yuuki’s blood..that is if Kaname still allows it. Finally, ah..would Yuuki join the night class now or will she still pretend to be human like Zero. I won’t be so shock if Kaname just joins day class since Kaname would probably not want to be near Rido and his cohorts where they can easily attack. By going to day class, he can also easily protect Yuuki, especially if the other vampires sided with Rido.

Nana [Chapter 71]

Hachi narrates that what irritates her about Takumi is not because he is busy but because he doesn’t seem to miss her when they don’t see each other. Yuri is busy teasing Nobu by eating the chocolates she has given him. She asks him to give a box to Shin. Nobu says the problem is that they can’t see him. Yuri complains that it has already been two weeks. She then remembers something and shows him a magazine of Kashiwagi who was said to be with Shin. In the magazine, it is the woman who looks a lot like Reira. It turns out that she is a flight stewardess and during her spare time, she pimps young boys. In some magazine stand, Hachi is utterly shock that she was tricked into thinking that woman is actually with Reira by Kurata. On cue, Kurata appears behind her and tells her that he didn’t lie for that photo he showed her has already been destroyed. True to his word, it wasn’t published. Hachi is surprised that she is being followed. He tries to asks her if Shin is connected to the prostitution ring that Kashiwagi is into and why aren’t Ren and Nana living together anymore. Hachi is already irritated that she quickly left so she didn’t know that Kurata wants to exchange information for he knows where Nana’s mother is -- he is holding her picture. Hachi goes up to the subway and wonders if she should prepare a Valentine’s dinner for Takumi but then, he might not come home early anyway. Hachi remembers Takumi telling Reira knew of her relationship with Shin, she feels jealous/angry because of how Takumi is taking care of Reira while she is busy doing all sort of other things.
Back at the dressing room, Takumi wonders if the chocolate that Reira gave him is poisoned. Reira angrily says it isn’t. Takumi says he doesn’t deserve it for he didn’t do anything for her to be thankful of him. He is about to leave when Reira hugs him from behind and stops him from leaving. Reira cries that she is tried of showing off that she is strong. Takumi remembers what others said about Reira doing everything for work and would feel worthless if she didn’t sing. Takumi decided on a plan to make Reira at ease. He tells her that for him, she is someone special compared to everyone else. He asks her if she would want to be one of his many lovers. Reira agrees. Somewhere else, Hachi looks sad as she thought if Reira becomes her rival, she has no way of winning. She then tells herself not to think that for Takumi is currently thinking of a way to get Reira and Shin to meet each other. She then becomes depress again thinking of Nana and Ren. Her mobile phone rings and it is Ren. She is puzzled when Ren is advising her not to give up no matter what obstacles hinder her. Even if she stumbles, she should stand up in order for her to be victorious. Hachi laughs that it is the same as what Nana told her. Ren teases that Nana copied him. Hachi asks if he would come tonight but Ren says he won’t. Hachi begins to ask if Ren is angry and why won’t he come. Ren says that they can’t see each other yet. Hachi starts to cry that Ren tells her that it isn’t the end yet. He doesn’t want to meet Nana so that their relationship won’t end. They just need space from each other at the moment. She tells him that no matter what, he shouldn’t have another woman aside from Nana. Ren says if he could do that then he won’t be having a hard time now. He tells her that after some time, he will get Nana back so he asks Hachi to please take care of Nana for now. Hachi smiles and thought that the bond between Nana and Ren is really strong.
While Takumi and Reira are kissing, they were interrupted by Mary, Reira’s manager. They quickly move away from each other as Mary asks if they are ready for the rehearsal. Takumi asks Mary if she has a chocolate for him. Mary tells him to ask one from his wife. Takumi says that’s right so he should finish work soon and go home quickly. Mary asks if Takumi scolded her again for her mascara is ruined. Reira says she is okay and she will fix it herself. After Ren hangs up the phone, he sees Takumi rushing out, looking a bit troubled. A guy comes up and says it is time for rehearsal but Ren tells him to delay it for 30 more minutes. He then goes to where Takumi came out, I think to Reira’s dressing room. While reading her solo plan, Nana tells Gin that she wants to do the drama that was offered to her before. Gin is really happy though Mai is a bit apprehensive about it. That night, Nana arrives to room 707 and was greeted by Hachi. It turns out that Takumi is going home late so she decided to ‘serve’ Nana. Much to Hachi’s disappointment, Nana already ate dinner. They then take a bath together just like in the good old days. While in the bathtub, Hachi complains about Takumi coming late for Valentine’s Day and he was not there during her birthday nor Christmas. Nana then remembers the cake that Hachi made earlier. She quickly goes out of the bath and tells Hachi that she worked very hard for the day to get to eat it that night. While Nana is enjoying her cake, Hachi asks if she should move in with Nana but then, says that it is impossible. To her surprise, Nana says is that so, well, don’t worry about the child, she will support it. Hachi is surprised and thought was that a confession.
They were interrupted by Yasu who came to visit. Nana tells her that she won’t give him any chocolates but Hachi offers the cake she made to him. It seems that Miu is working on a film so Yasu is alone but it is no problem with Yasu for it is a role that Miu likes to do. Nana teases him if it is okay for him to go to another woman’s place uninvited. Yasu tells her to go back home. Nana looks angry. Yasu tells her if she doesn’t want to go back to Ren’s place then go back to the dorm where they are staying because they are worried about her. Nana says that she wants to start from the beginning. Hachi realizes why Nana insists on staying there. Yasu tells her that he understands her feelings but it doesn’t have to be that she start from scratch, after all, she reached today with her own effort. Nana is unconvinced and shouts that she won’t depend on anyone and won’t give any problems to others. Yasu says that making them worry is already giving them problems. Nana and Hachi sweatdrop for it is true. Yasu tells her to go with him after eating the cake. Nana finally relents as Hachi also decides to go back home. A scene of Takumi in the sound mixing room, looking at the note in the heart-shaped with wings chocolate that Reira gave him. It said, I love you Layla. Takumi burns the note with his cigarette then he rests his head on his hands as if he is troubled or tired. Hachi narrates that if Nana returns back to that room, this time, she will leave that house. She wonders if she can also become a single mother.
Okay, so Shin is in prison for a longer time because of his possible involvement in a prostitution ring. I wonder if part of the reason why he doesn’t want to grow up is because if he did, he won’t be any ‘use’ to satisfy clients. As for Kurata, I totally find him interesting. If he ever get out of being a paparazzi, I know what kind of job will suit him. It is as a private investigator for lost people. Hehe He is really great in finding people. Hachi seems to be in a lot of stress. She is worrying about too many people – herself, Nana and Ren, and Shin. Her womanly instincts are pretty good, too. She’s thinking of the possibility of Takumi and Reira and it is currently happening. She thinks of Ren, he calls her. I think if ever this is a happy ending, both Nanas will be living together again. It made me think if Yasu didn’t come to convince her, would the ‘disappearance’ of Nana be avoided? Would they live together again as what the last narration seems to imply? Well, I give credit to Yasu for being able to convince Nana and this goes to show how much he cares for her. About Ren and Nana, I think their relationship is quite complicated that it isn’t easy to patch them up just like any ordinary couples would. I do wonder for how long would they need space from each other...does it mean they weren’t together then and the ‘disappearance’ happened. I’m thinking that maybe it is. Ren wasn’t there and Hachi could have been giving birth. I still don’t know where to place Yasu and others as of yet. Perhaps at that time, Nana must have been really depressed that she wants to ‘disappear’ but then, not enough to kill herself off. It could indeed be a combination of flopping solo career and about her mother.
Lastly, I have already suspected about Takumi and Reira based on last chapter. Takumi seems to be just forced to do that. Based on his side story, he seems quite troubled that he just did what he doesn’t want to do by making her just one of his lovers. Reira has finally got what she wants though not in favorable circumstances. It is quite awful to be a mistress when you know the wife. It made me think that Takumi just needed a maid in the form of Hachi to pamper and do household work for him. If that kid is Reira-Takumi’s I’m thinking that when he learned, he dropped Hachi and went overseas with Reira so that the paparazzi won’t make a fuss about Reira. He just supports Hachi and Satsuki. But then, since Hachi is reluctant to divorce him, what is Takumi’s reason for not divorcing her? Also, it is obvious that Ren knows about the two. It made me think as a friend, should he told it to Hachi or he just want Hachi discover it herself? Is this why Ren decides on a hint and advice for Hachi rather than telling her directly? Since she will know it sooner, I do wonder how Nana reacted when she learns this. As a friend, she must be really angry but then, maybe the rift between them before the ‘disappearance’ is because of this. Hachi isn’t willing to leave Takumi yet. From Hachi’s narration, she does seem to be regretting something. For those who intently re-read this series, can you refresh me as to why is Hachi staying with Takumi? Is it for child support? That is what it seems to me. ^^; Oh ya, almost forgot, about the burning Reira’s note, I had mentioned before, that I think Takumi is just burning the evidence as master extraordinaire playboy, one must cover his tracks. If someone sees it, he can just say it is from a fan and get away with it. I think it would be harder for him to keep Reira a lover since they would always be surrounded by people they know and they would somehow notice something has changed sooner or later. I have confidence on Takumi not getting caught but Reira..not really. =P After all, Takumi knew her relationship with Shin and there is that photograph of her and Ren together.

On the day of the competition, the contest has already started but Takami is the comfort room looking sick. She overhears some girls talking that the junior high division contestants are quite good. Takami thought that she has around 2 hours before going on stage but then, she is so nervous that she feels like vomiting. Her mother pats her hard on the back and tells her to come out already, what are you doing, it is almost time for Akira to play. Takami has no choice but to follow her mother out. They then sees her brothers. Shuu, the eldest [24 years old] who is a high school teacher, apologizes for being late. Rikujin, the 2nd [22 years old] who is a sports coach, playfully grips Taiki, the 4th [17 years old] who is a third year high student. Rikujin says why don’t they all go see Akira. Taiki angrily says it is too annoying and let him go. Rikujin asks Shin, the 3rd [19 years old] who is a college student, to come along. Shin tells him that he isn’t interested. Still gripping Taiki, Rikujin tells Takami to show the way. Takami angrily shouts how could she let them see Akira. During this time when he is about to go to stage, how could I let you guys bother Akira. Takami goes to the contestant’s lounge and thought that she is going to help Akira to become more relaxed. She comes in to see Akira dressing up. Takami looks away blushing. Akira asks what’s the matter. Takami says it is nothing but thought that she can see a bit of Akira’s chest. Akira’s first two buttons aren’t buttoned up yet.
She hears the music playing, ‘Fly’ and thought that this is the piece that junior high division contestants will be playing. After finishing putting his tie, Akira asks Takami if she wants something to drink. Takami is surprised and asks why is he saying this now. Akira smiles and says if she drinks a bit, she will be more relaxed. Takami is surprised and becomes embarrassed. She says yes and thought how did it change to Akira being the one trying to keep me from being nervous. Takami wonders if Akira has already calmed down from his uneasiness earlier. Akira is about to open the door when Shinobu enters the room. Akira quickly slams the door and tells Takami how about drinking something later on. Shinobu shouts that hurts. Takami can only say, ah, okay. Shinobu angrily pushes the door open and says, hey, you two. Akira asks what is he doing there. Shinobu says that there are many good pianists in the junior high division so he was thinking if a guy like him who said that ‘I will play for her’ will actually win. Takami tries to stop Shinobu from saying any more. She tells him what is he saying when Akira is about to go on stage. Akira says he isn’t playing to win but then, I wouldn’t lose. Takami looks at him in surprise. Akira smiles at her which surprises Takami even more. Shinobu says, is that so. Aoyama comes in and tells Akira to prepare to go on stage. Akira says he will. Takami seems to be a bit worried about Akira.
A boy has just finished playing and goes off stage. Takami and Shinobu are standing behind the audience seats. Shinobu tells her that boy played well and will probably get the first prize. Takami asks if Akira will be okay. Shinobu smiles that Takami asks why is he smiling. Shinobu says that guy won’t lose at this important time. Takami is puzzled and thought wasn’t he too picky about Akira’s playing before. Akira’s name is announced. As Akira goes on stage, the ladies are all blushing. [probably because he is good looking] From Takami’s family, Rikujin is shock that Akira has grown and become like that. Aside from him, Taiki and their mother is surprised by this. Shuu and Shin doesn’t look impressed/interested. Akira bows to the audience then looks at Takami’s direction. He then sits on the piano bench. Takami wonders if Akira is trying to make eye contact with her. Shinobu tells Takami that when she plays, doesn’t she totally concentrate on her feelings. Takami says she does. Shinobu tells her that Akira looked at her so that he will also concentrate on his feelings. Akira starts to play. Takami doesn’t believe it. Then, she remembers Akira telling her that he plays only for her. Takami starts to blush and holds her chest. Shinobu asks what is the matter. Takami is surprised and says it is nothing. Takami keeps on denying it as Shinobu just smiles at her. Takami thought that it seems as if Akira is playing only for her while playing on stage. Akira has finished playing and bows again. He sees Shinobu giving him an okay-sign that it made Akira quickly look away. He starts to walk away as Shinobu is laughing at this. Takami remembers Shinobu’s words that Akira won’t lose at this important time. She thought that even if Akira and Shinobu tend to quarrel with each other, deep down in their hearts, they honestly knew and recognizes each other’s talent.
Looking at the list, Shuu notes that it will be Takami’s turn after the two. Taiki starts to become nervous as their mother asks him why is he becoming nervous about. In the lounge, Takami has become quite uneasy as she feels like she wants to vomit. Akira gives her a bottle of water. Takami apologizes for troubling him. Akira says it is okay. Takami drinks the water. Akira says before he met her, he didn’t find playing the piano fun at all but after he knew her and she listened to his playing, it made him really happy and it was then, he thought that playing the piano is fun. Today is also because you listen to my piano playing so that I was able to play well..so Takami, I will also leave the closest place to you to listen to you play.. To Takami’s surprise, Akira kisses her right cheek. Takami freaks out and shouts what is he doing. Akira smiles and says he is helping her relax. Takami shouts that he just made her more nervous. Akira slightly smiles and tells her to play the music interestingly. Blushing, Takami looks at him speechless as Akira smiles at her. Takami says she will. Takami thought, oh well, the nausea feeling has really disappeared. Takami says I’m going ahead. Takami bows and remembers what Akira said about her listening to him play has made him like playing the piano. Takami thought, that’s the same with me. Flashback: Young Takami has hid inside the men’s comfort room as Aoyama and her mother are looking for her. This is the fourth time she has run away after practicing for half a year. While they were looking for her, Takami laughed that they wont’ find her. To her surprise, young Akira is standing in front of her. He asked her if she wants him to teach her to play. Takami is surprised by this and asked if he really will. Akira said if she doesn’t object. Takami agreed to let him teach her. End flashback. Just like Akira, after saying those words, it made me realize, playing the piano is interesting. It is because of Akira. Takami has already started to play the piano while Akira watches her.
The announcer then says that the awarding ceremony is about to start. They will call the winners and please go to the stage. For the junior high division, the first place winner is --- Akira Sasaki. Akira sighs in relief as Takami happily pats his shoulder. They are sitting at the audience seats. Takami exclaims that he was really great and he finally did it. Akira smiles and says yes. The announcer says, next, in the high school division, award for best effort is --- Takami gets overly nervous and thought wait a minute. She holds on to Akira’s head tightly that Akira has to tell her that it hurts. She still clings on him until the announcer announces her name. After a pause, Takami is surprised as Akira congratulates her and says, that’s great. Takami blushes a bit and says, yes. Shinobu pushes them in the back to hurry on the stage to get their awards. Takami is crying for she is tense while Akira is dusting his shoulder where Shinobu touched him. Akira gives his hand to Takami and says, let’s go. Takami is surprised then she smiles. She holds his hand as he leads her to the stage. Takami says yes. Let us go to where we can go. The two of us together walking there.
This chapter made me think that these two will become renowned couple pianists in the future. =P Because of Takami’s encouragement and words in the last chapter, Akira seems to be back to himself again. It is amusing that he was even the one trying to help her over her stage fright. I guess they owe each other that they are now there enjoying playing the piano. Of Takami’s brothers, Rikujin seems to be the one most fond of Akira. He does fit to become a sports coach, too energetic. I really find Takami holding on to Akira’s head really funny. Hehe.

Aporro gloats that he is like a phoenix that can be reborn again and again through his enemy in Bleach [c. 305]. Mayuri goes to withered Nemu who keeps on apologizing to him. Aporro says there is no hope of rescuing Nemu. Mayuri turns around to Aporro and says that he is really interested in him. Mayuri asks him to show more of Aporro’s abilities since he claims to have never experienced death. Aporro calls out Mayuri’s pet to eat Mayuri. Aporro laughs happily that he can control anything that has eaten him. To his surprise, Mayuri’s pet explodes. It begins to form into Mayuri’s zanpaku again. Mayuri tells him that he has already made it to self-destruct if it went against him. Mayuri muses that it seems that Aporro doesn’t have any new powers to show him so he will now take his new medicine back. Aporro is taken aback by this. It turned out that Mayuri has made Nemu injected a lot of medicines and it has become a medicine that can make people super human whose perception is really fast. Since Aporro’s body isn’t superhuman, it would seem that things around him are happening too slow. Aporro begins to not understand what Mayuri is saying unless Mayuri says it slowly. Mayuri tells him that just like what Aporro did to Nemu, ingesting Nemu can be quite ‘fatal’. Mayuri is stabbing Aporro which seems to Aporro is being stabbed in the time span of hundred of years. Then, after that, everything went black for Aporro. So much for a re-match. ^^; So, we learn that in dealing with mad-scientists, don’t eat any of the enemy or their allies for being mad-scientists, they have already experimented on them. ^^;; I do find the bleach cover for this chapter quite disturbing.
As for Naruto [c. 384], the two brothers just fight it off. Sasuke manages to stab Itachi. Itachi says he has become stronger. Sasuke says that there is one question he wants to ask before he dies. Itachi points to the side and Sasuke sees that the real Itachi is sitting on the chair. Clone Itachi disappears into crows. Sasuke notes that it is like before, the clone saying that he has become stronger. Itachi asks what does Sasuke wants to know and he would have gladly answer even if it isn’t the end yet. Sasuke says, I have already told you.. Sasuke appears behind him and stabs Itachi who is sitting. It turned out that the Sasuke standing in front is just a clone made of snakes. Sasuke says in the end, I have something to ask you, didn’t I just said that, stupid. I’ll be pretty disappointed if Itachi dies this way that Sasuke doesn’t even have to revert to his ugly form. Also, this again shows Sasuke’s nature of being a traitor – a backstabber, literally. It made me think of Sasuke’s actions so far sans his fight with Deidera and getting new ‘friends’. After a long time, Naruto finds him. Sasuke hugs him on his shoulder and then pulls out his sword. While Orochimaru is dying sick, he attacks behind the door. Finally, finding his brother whom he wants to kill, instead of fighting him in front, he backstabs. Okay, that last one is a good tactic than Naruto’s charge in front. Lesson here is when you have a vengeful friend, student, brother, be careful for you’ll never know when he backstabs you while you least expect it.
Lola and others wants to fight Kuma in One Piece [c. 484] but Zoro tells them to not hinder the fight since he is being challenged so if others also fight, it will be shameful for him. Kuma notes that Luffy’s nakama are known to be excellent fighters. The others except Robin are easily flattered by this. Usopp tries to stop Zoro from fighting but Zoro doesn’t listen and still wants to fight even if he dies. They fight and everything that Kuma hits, leaves a paw mark. The others then sees a paw mark on Kuma’s hand. Zoro tries to hit Kuma with a sword wave attack but Kuma easily reflects it away. Franky seems to belittle Kuma that Kuma blows Franky away with his palm. Robin notes that it isn’t a normal cannon for it actually blew Franky away. It seems that Kuma is using air pressure. Kuma makes a lot of paw mark attacks at Zoro which Zoro manages to evade but when Zoro tries to hit him, he made Zoro bounce away with his own attack. Zoro can’t hardly stand up already when Kuma is about to hit him. Sanji tries to help Zoro by hitting Kuma’s head. To their surprise, Kuma wasn’t hurt and it is Sanji who is hurt. Sanji wonders what kind of body does Kuma have that it is quite hard. Usopp also tries to attack but Kuma also reflects back Usopp’s fiery attack at him. Kuma says that killing them in their state would be meaningless. Kuma uses the air around to make a pressure bomb. He tells everyone that he is going to spare them but give Luffy’s head to him. With Luffy’s head, he can make the others to not chase them anymore. Usopp asks if he is asking them to sell out their nakama. Kuma tells the others to come and give Luffy to him. Everyone shouts that they won’t. Kuma says, too bad. He then explodes his paw print bomb which destroys what’s left of Thriller bark. I guess they are no match for Kuma especially since they are all still wounded. Mm..I wonder what kind of miracle would happen that they will survive this one. I kind of wondering Hogback and Absalom would help them..but nah, that’s quite unlikely. It’s nice to see how the others will not betray Luffy especially since Luffy is out cold. Luffy knows how to chose his friends. ^-^ And, Lola and pirates know how to be grateful to the one who brought back their shadows. And the lesson here is you’ll know who your true friends are when they won’t sell you off and risk their lives for you even when you are out cold.
They had finished killing the akuma and start to report to Komui what had happened inside in D. Gray-man [c. 143]. Johnny didn’t notice an akuma which is barely alive, looking at him. There is gas emitting so they were told to leave that place quickly since it is poisonous. The Noah can’t be found but Allen’s eye is triggering as if there is still an akuma alive. Komui orders them to quickly destroy the egg before the Earl gets it back. Malcolm tries to object but in the end, relents because Miranda is only temporarily made it appear that the egg is still there. Malcolm decides to give a mission to Link. The generals are getting ready to destroy the egg when a liquid envelops Miranda. Cross says it is the ‘lust/shape/color’ Noah [The character used can mean either those three] who can change illusion into a real form. Lulu who takes the shape of a giant spider, I think, tries to stop Miranda from using her power. She clings on the egg as the egg starts to sink back into the ark. Allen seeing Miranda in trouble decides to help her. The generals start their attack on Lulu. Meanwhile, Johnny tries to stop the skull from getting Tapp, his friend who became a skull, into the ark but Tapp pushes away Johnny who in turn fell downstairs. Johnny didn’t notice that he fell beside the akuma who is still alive. Ah, things are still messy. I really feel exorcists doesn’t have any time to rest. They are always on the go and when they try to rest, they are attacked. ^^;; So, will Johnny die or will be saved by Allen or others..I’m betting on Kanda or Chaoji who is still unaccounted for since the attack. =P Mm..I wonder what is Malcolm planning.
Tsuna and others are running in the streets into a shopping mall’ s ventilation ducts which leads to the Millefiore base in Katekyo Hitman Reborn! [c. 176]. A bit of flashback on the equipment that were given to them which includes a cover for their rings so that they won’t be detected, clothes to be protected from the dying flame and communicators. They met Bianchi who sends them off to where they should go. Hayato and Bianchi promise each other to keep alive as they still have things to talk about. They start moving in the ducts and see some infrared beams. Lal tells them to quickly pass through in 5 seconds after she uses something to stop the beams else they will be fired upon by lasers. Lal tosses something which stops the beams and they quickly crawled to safety. To their surprise, the lasers were activated so they quickly jump down from the ducts. After they all crashed on the floor, Lal wonders what activated it. A huge guy laughs and says that he was the one activated it because he thought there are some mice. Since the guy is the typical huge but stupid, he didn’t thought that Tsuna is the Vongola they are looking for. He decided to use them as target practice and fires beams coming from his huge shoulder pads at them. The attack was blocked as they all deny they were the ones who did it except Hayato who says he was the one did it. Tsuna thanks him. Hayato tells him to move aside for they don’t have time to play with him. This made the huge guy angry. He pulls out an electric lance and threatens to kill them. It is then Ryohei recognizes him as Dendro. Lal says his lance is said to be able to pierce though anything. But to Dendro’s shock, powered-up Tsuna stops it with one hand. Tsuna coldly says didn’t you hear us a while ago, we said we don’t have time to play with you. Powered-up and serious Tsuna looks cool. ^-^ Dendro seems to be just small fry. I guess they did powered up to be able to deal with the likes of Dendro.
Gin, together with Shinpachi, Kagura and Otae, goes down the bus near a forest while it is snowing in Gintama [c. 196] . Otose has told them of a onsen/hot spring at that place and some woman there is going to take care of them. They climbed up the mountain only to find a run down inn. Gin asks if they got the place right. Shinpachi says they did for the sign board says so but the old man drawn on it seems to be dipping in blood instead of in the onsen. Otae and Kagura don’t mind it as they go see if there is someone inside. Gin and Shinpachi are uneasy about the place for there could be a ghost or something especially since there are a lot of ravens around. They then see a lady with white hair and kimono walking below. Gin tries to call out to her but Shinpachi notes that why are there no snow prints on the snow when she is walking on the snow. They try to make up an excuse for it as they pretend not to be afraid. Kagura and Otae come back to tell them that they found the owner. To Gin and Shinpachi’s shock, they see a ghost behind the owner. The owner apologizes for the state of the inn because she is the only one taking care of it. Gin and Shinpachi are still freaking out that there is a ghost behind her but still, why didn’t Kagura and Otae see it. They theorize what it is as the owner leads them to their rooms. They suddenly don’t see it anymore so maybe it is just an illusion. The owner asks if they want Western or Japanese style room. The girls want Western while the boys want Japanese. To Gin and Shinpachi’s shock, the Japanese room’s door is a sealed room with a lot of ofudas [paper talisman to lock in evil spirits] on it.
They want the Western room but the owner says the girls already have it. She asks them what is so scary about it. She explains other reasons why there is such a lock in it and the ofudas. The boys are relieved so they go in the room. They were shock again to see a ghost of someone hanging in the room. They rush into the girl’s room. Shinpachi is looking around as Gin is begging Otae to change rooms with them. Shinpachi opens the sliding door and sees a hanged Western man who is looking at them. This freaks out the boys again. They shout then there is no reason to change rooms, what is wrong with this place. Otae asks them what is wrong. Shinpachi tries to deny it but his sister says to tell them for they will listen. The owner comes in to bring some snacks. After setting the food on the floor, the owner whispers to the boys, if you say it, I’ll kill you. She then takes a peanut and feeds it to the ghost behind her. The boys freak out for she knows all about it. They thought that in that inn only have the owner and the people whom she killed. Gin and Shinpachi tries to escape but only find a huge boulder blocking their path to the bus stop. There is someone at the other side telling them that it will take time to remove it so why don’t they stay at the onsen there but there are rumors that it is haunted. The guy says he is only kidding so why don’t they laugh. Gin and Shinpachi can only cry as there are spirits behind them. Hehe, a haunted stay in an onsen on winter. This seems to be a fun arc. I wonder how the two will take it especially Gin who is really afraid of ghosts from the arc of ghost hunting in Shinsengumi. It is strange that only the guys see it. I think there is a different reason why the ghosts are there contrary to what Gin and Shinpachi are imaging. Something like, they are already there since before and the owner just treats them as family.
I have started reading PSYREN [c. 1-5] and it is pretty okay. The story is about a delinquent named Yoshina Ageha who helps people for a fee. One day, he gets a card from a phone booth. It seems that a girl from his class, Amamiya, also has it. There has been news about those who have the card would disappear. He hears Amamiya saying save me before she disappears. Ageha gathers information about this PSYREN card. He learns that people wants to get in PSYREN for they will attain 5 million if they discover the truth about it. Ageha decides to use his card on the public phone. After being asked a lot of questions, Ageha starts to get frightened when personal questions are asked. After being scolded by the operator, Ageha left but his phone examination is processed if he should go to PSYREN or not. The next day, some hoodlums are looking for him and they want his card but Ageha won’t give it to them. His phone is ringing just when he was blinded temporarily by the hoodlums. He answered it and got teleported to PSYREN. He finds himself in some desert-like place then sees someone being attacked by a monster. Amamiya kills the monster with her katana. She asks him why is he there and he explains. Amamiya calls him a fool for getting involved. She tells him to find the phone booth where people tend to gather. It is the start of the game to get out of there. She faints because she is sick so Ageha carries her there. There, he meets some people who were at first scared but because of the money involved as reward, they become greedy. Then the phone rings. They were all told to go to the gate to find PSYREN and the way out. They see a vision of the next public phone. Then a loud siren comes from a certain direction.
Ageha tries to tell them to wait and observe the surroundings first for there are monsters. No one believes him. After they left towards where the siren rang, Amamiya wakes up and tells Ageha to click the memo on the phone. Ageha learns that there is a map and where the others went is the danger zone where they should avoid while going to the next gate. Ageha decides to warn the others but it is too late for when he arrives there, only Asaga, also a delinquent who went into PSYREN to find a friend, is alive. Asaga tells him that another one could still be alive so Ageha decided to save that person then go to next gate while Asaga will bring Amamiya to the next gate. Ageha finds the person he is looking for but they were attacked. That person died much to Ageha’s frustration but he did manage to defeat the monster that attacked them. Then, the wind blows and to his shock, he sees a ruined Mt. Fuji. He realizes that he is in Japan. Mm..why are the lead’s name starts with A. ^^;; The story is a bit like Gantz – sending people to fight for survival or rather go to the next point without being killed by monsters though isn’t as violent and gory as Gantz. Since at the start, it is a bit preachy about environment, etc, I think they are sent to the future to see what happened if they aren’t concerned about the environment. Probably send those who don’t care as punishment. =P I already dislike the lead girl who tends to be complain and goes a bit overly dramatic over things. Ageha is a pretty okay main lead. I do wonder if they get to go home after they find the next gate then gets send back again later on, just like Gantz. If this is the future, I guess the monsters are mutated animals or something and that Alfred human-like being who attacks them is the new humans there.

The One [Chapter 42]

Eros is surprised by Feidna’s announcement that she has found a new love. Eros puts down his mug and asks her if she is serious this time around. I hope that you won’t do things again wherein you ended up hurting yourself, Feidna. Feidna smiles and says she isn’t afraid of getting hurt because he will be there to comfort her. Eros tells her that he won’t be at her side forever. Feidna approaches Eros and says this time, it will definitely go smoothly. He is a banker who is older by 20 years than me. He has money, position, has lost his beloved wife [I’m not sure if she passed away or divorce though], so he is lonely. He said that he loves me and would want to marry me. He also said that after we get married, I can go back to school and study until I graduate. I can do anything I want so I don’t need to become a model anymore. Feidna hugs Eros and says, I will become someone of higher status, to let my father see how hard I have worked. This way...he will then recognize me as his daughter. Eros looks sad and says, Feidna... Feidna continues to say that her father doesn’t want her to become a model so he doesn’t recognizes her. He feels that I was brought up like a bum, who doesn’t even have proper training/education so he finds her humiliating. If I work hard to become an excellent person, he will surely recognize me, right?
Eros has a flashback. Flashback: Young Eros is talking to his mother who is on a wheelchair. He is calling out to her. His mother reached out to him and said, Long [Angus’ Chinese name], my precious, mommy really wants to see you.. Eros called out to her as she held his face. Eros said I am Yin [Eros’ Chinese name], your other child. His mother looked stunned and said, Yin..? She quickly turned away from him and said, who is that...I don’t know him..I’m looking for Long, he is my precious child. Eros tried to call her again but she is already crying. While shaking from crying and covering her face, she asked him to please help her find Long. This made Eros really frustrated that he ran really fast outside. He then punched a tree. No matter how hard I try, you have really forgotten about me?! Mother.. He is in already in tears. End flashback. Eros tells Feidna that this isn’t something that she can get with just effort alone. This shocks Feidna as there are some tears in her eyes. She shouts she doesn’t believe it. I have the same hair color and eye color as him, I am his daughter! How could he not have any affection for me? I’m waiting.. Eros looks stunned as Feidna looks a bit deranged. She says if she’s blessed then it will be okay..I will definitely..achieve what I want.
Lele is busy posing in a winter outfit for a photographer but no matter how she do it, the photographer isn’t satisfied. The photographer shouts that it is all wrong for the feeling doesn’t come out. He shouts doesn’t she like the outfit? Doesn’t she think it is sexy? Lele replies that she likes it. He shouts but he feels that she doesn’t like it. Lele shouts, but I like it. The photographer insists that she didn’t like it. Lele is frustrated as she thought but I really like it. The photographer decides to change the outfit to find something that fits her expression. After changing into a new one, the photographer is still not satisfied no matter what pose Lele does. The photographer decides to call it a day because Lele seems nervous so none of the photos look good. Lele thought, but I’m not nervous!! Later on, she goes grocery shopping with Leo. Lele angrily complains that no matter what kind of expression she did, the photographer isn’t satisfied. Even if what I am feeling is true, he still won’t believe it! He keeps on putting his subjective opinions on me, in my two years of modeling, this is the first time that this has happened! Leo says that this is nothing new for there are photographers who are like that. It could be that you are not his taste. Lele is shock and thought, not his taste. Putting her arms to her waist, Lele laughs and thought is that the reason. She exclaims is that so, does it mean that the problem lies on the photographer, I’m not his taste, that’s not my fault! Leo hits her head with a golden curry box. Leo says you’re wrong, if the photo doesn’t come out okay, it is your fault. The camera is just a way of trying to communicate. If the photographer gives a model instructions, the model should be able to do it. Then, based on how the model reacted, further instructions are given. Holding her head where Leo hit her, Lele thought she already knew that but she doesn’t know what’s up with today. Leo explains that a good model won’t have such a situation. She will adjust her frequency to match that of the photographer’s. There is no need to talk about supermodels. They are really ‘prepared goddess’. With just one look, the photographer will know the unlimited-like power that the result will be a 1+1=7 photo.
Lele is shock and distressed. 1+1=7?! Does that mean that the photos that I have been taking before is just 1+1=2? 1+1=7, what kind of world is that? Someone says, that is the world of ‘gods’. Lele is shock to see Angus who is with Yang. Lele is drooling over some fruits on the stall that Angus says your drool is going to fall on the food, baby. I have heard that you have come to New York but I never thought that we will get to meet each other. You...really haven’t changed one bit. Lele is shock and thought haven’t changed one bit. Why did he say it as if he is saying it with bad intention. Angus and Yang are talking with Leo. Angus asks if Leo has received his invitation for the Zac party. Leo says he did. Lele begins to wonder if Angus is laughing at her because she haven’t grown up a bit. Angus asks Leo if he is going. Leo says he is for it will be a waste if he didn’t since there will be many big named stars going there. Angus looking at Lele and says yes, it will be such a waste. Leo is having such a happy smile as he is happy for Yang. Yang wonders what with his face. Angus is still looking at Lele and says there are some newcomers that are invited, and there will be a number of goddesses who will go there. The old man wanted to personally choose the female model to be partnered with me. Lele thought, why are you looking at me? Are you trying to show off? Yes, yes, I’m not invited. Judy has already send my photos to Zac but there wasn’t any response back. And I heard that Zac’s chief executive doesn’t like Asian models. Lele sighs and thought like or not liked, there is nothing can be done. I have only been in New York for some time, just look for work opportunities then definitely.. She then hears Leo telling Angus and Yang to meet each other again at the party. Lele gloomily thought, leaving already. Angus has his arm around Yang while they walk away. Leo tells Lele it seems that Yang is really happy..that’s really good. Lele thought Yang? Is he Angus’ male (female) fan? I have heard rumors that Angus will ‘eat’ both men and women.. Lele then sees Angus kissing Yang ..but seeing it with my own eyes.. Leo giggles happily and he is envious of Yang. Lele turns around and bends down to sit. ...my fantasy is shattered!
Standing near the sea or some pond at some park, I think, Lele takes out her ‘Freedom’ photo of Angus from her wallet. This photo..has always been in my wallet. Because this is the reason why I became a model. In this photo, Angus is really captivating. But in all the instances that I have met him, I have slowly realized, the person in the photo doesn’t exist. It is all a illusion created by my mind. It is time to ‘dump’ him. Holding the photo, Lele thought thanks for accompanying me for such a long time. She is about to throw it but she stops. Someone holds her hand and says, are you going to throw it? Let me help you. Eros grabs the photo and threw it high up in the sky. Lele is shock. She quickly turns around and shouts, hey, what are you doing? Why are you throwing away people’s things. Eros says I have seen that you are going to throw it so I just helped you. Lele shouts, who wants to, you chicken?! Eros replies that if she doesn’t want it, then don’t try to throw it midway up to the sky. Lele angrily shouts the photo is with me for around two years already, can’t I even hesitate for a minute? I’m the one who wants to throw it so why did he have to lend a hand? Eros asks what is the thing that she is so captivated with photo, shouldn’t it better if she just tell her feelings to the real person.
Embarrassed, Lele says that this is something he won’t understand. The person I like in the picture is better than the real one. Eros says that is some news, like a thunderbolt in a clear sky, there is actually someone who doesn’t like the ‘living’ Angus. Lele says that’s right, so what if I have fallen in love with an ‘illusion’. Are you calling me stupid? Eros says that’s strange, so how did the ‘illusion’ captivated you. Lele shouts you want to know? It is because of that captivating pose and eyes as if he is a pained/hurt soul who have sad but hopeful and confident eyes. [The scans here is quite blurred so I’m partly making that up.] Just looking at it makes me really drawn to it. I really thought that I want to go to his world to hug and comfort him so I have decided to become a model and fantasize that someday I can get to be close to him. Eros looks quite surprised. Facing away from him, Lele continues, but when I have really come close to the real Angus, I have only feelings of fear. [I think when he tries to seduce her] That time, I realize...he isn’t the person in the photo. He is really such a good model that he is able to become another person. That person..doesn’t really exist. Lele is really depressed as she sighs. Eros says, what if I tell you that person really exists..and I’m the real model of that photo? Lele turns around and looks at Eros in surprise.
Wow, I didn’t expect Eros to actually tell that to her but then, this is the best timing to say it. It isn’t a surprise for me that Eros is the one in the photo for there are already hints about that before. I actually thought the author will develop more of Lele’s career in New York but she pulls a surprise of getting Lele closer to Eros. I’m starting to wonder about what will happen next. Would Eros bring Lele to the Zac party? If the Zac boss sees how good she looks with Eros, I’m sure he will sign her up quickly, after all, Angus is Eros’ twin. This will be quite a nice revenge on Angus for gloating at her about not invited. I think Angus is unconsciously jealous of Lele at how his brother cares for her. Before, I thought Angus was just lovey-dovey with his brother but I never thought he is a bisexual. That pretty much destroyed Lele’s fantasy. It is major turn-off for her that she wants to throw away the photo. So much for twins + Lele love triangle. ^^;; I do wonder if Eros helped her threw the picture away because he is jealous of Angus. It also made me think twice about the reason why Eros doesn’t want to live with Angus. Aside from his secret, I think he is secretly jealous of Angus for their mother remembers only Angus. He did say that it is the first time he knows of someone not going ‘gaga’ over Angus. With Lele telling him the real reason why she has fallen over the photo whom she thought was Angus and why she became a model, I think Lele wins some points in winning Eros over. It seems as if Eros is going to fulfill what he told Feidna that he will not be beside her forever.
We now know what is the bond between Eros and Feidna. They are both ‘bums’ and aren’t recognized by their parents. They have worked hard so that they will be acknowledged though Eros’ mother seems to have amnesia. It must have been pretty traumatic for Eros who really loves his mother but she forgot all about him. I would really be sorry for him if he had gotten himself shot trying to escape wherever he was before just to find his mother again but she has forgotten all about him. That could be the reason why he is distant with others but not Lele who has shown him the love that he really wants. Obviously, Feidna isn’t going to give it to him since she is preoccupied in getting the attention of her father. It does seem that Eros has partly given up on getting his mother’s attention unless his mother is already dead while Feidna is still trying hard to get her father impressed with her achievements. I somewhat think that her father is some rich guy who doesn’t want a scandal so he doesn’t recognize her contrary to what Feidna thought. Since she seems to be on her way to retirement, I guess this will set the stage for Lele to dominate the fashion scene. That is when she figures out how to make 1+1=7 photos. I wonder how Feidna will react if ever-reliable, shoulder-to-cry-on Eros has find someone else. Lele and Eros are on the cover of the Taiwan magazine that serializes The One. ^-^ It’s nice so I’ll posted it up. Scans are by Yukiru for BW.

Ouran High Host Club [Chapter 57]

The girls are exclaiming over the host club’s new theme – Turkey. They are wearing Turkish clothes and greets the girls, welcome. They asked if Tamaki’s stomach is okay. Except for the club members, everyone thought that Tamaki was sick that he didn’t went to the trip. They were admiring the clothes and the earring that Tamaki is wearing. Tamaki thanks them for their words and tells them that Turkish people believe that luck comes from the sky so turquoise is thought to be lucky. Tamaki flirts with a girl saying that for him, she is the most lucky jewel. Kyouya is showing some girls Nazar Boncugu [Turkish Evil Eye Pendant] which is said to protect people and drive away illness. Kyouya tells them if they always go there at the club, that will be their happiness. Kyouya still thinking of business as the girls are thrilled that they are thought to be lucky. Mori is serving tea as Honey is telling the girls what are the different desserts are on the table. Honey points out that this is Dondurma [Turkish ice cream], then this is Lokum [a confection made from starch and sugar which is often flavored with rosewater and lemon], and this is Ayran [a drink made of yohgurt and water]. Honey happily tells them that drinking tea with the sweets is really the best. The girls happily agrees. Then, to the twins, the girls are happy that they can distinguish the two now. The twins still do their brotherly love act – even if they are different, they are still the same. The girls love it.
Nekozawa appears and holds the twins’ hands asking if they would want to participate in dark magic club’s Turkish coffee fortunetelling. He tells them that after drinking coffee, the cup is turned over the saucer and let to dry. Then, he will interpret the remaining stains on the cup. While the twins and the girls are freaking out over Nekozawa, Honey asks Tamaki if he was the one who invited him over. Tamaki says he did for he thought it is good to get an expert in fortunetelling so that it will be more fun and interesting. Honey agrees that Nekozawa is an expert on that. Tamaki begins to wonder if he should have asked the dance club to perform, too. Haruhi muses that after the trip, Tamaki has become busy as he begins to actively think of ways to make the guests in the club happy. Tamaki asks Kyouya that he wants to see the accounting book and guest list later on. He also wants to discuss about the things that needs to be bought. Kyouya says there is no problem but wasn’t he suppose to go to Rio Grand hotel later at 6pm where he is going to observe things. Tamaki has forgotten about that so he just tells Kyouya to just get the data and he’ll just read it at home. Tamaki has been going around to observe his father’s work and reading books about that business. With Tamaki’s hard work, he will soon attain his dream. Haruhi sighs that for her, her illness that is like a cold haven’t stopped. A girl asks if Haruhi is not feeling well and what did the doctor said. Haruhi says she has went to the doctor but the doctor said everything is normal. Haruhi sadly says that she still doesn’t have any appetite and those Turkish sweets will spoil if kept for a long period. She can’t eat yet not eating them seems to be a waste. The girls feel sorry for her that they start to keep the sweets back into the boxes so that Haruhi won’t see them.
Tamaki approaches Haruhi. He asks if she is feeling well and if her cold is better. Haruhi is surprised and starts to blush. Haruhi tries to say something but Tamaki touches her face. He says that it is a good thing that she doesn’t have a fever. Haruhi becomes even redder. Tamaki freaks out why did she suddenly become hot and her face is all red. He shouts that they should call an ambulance. Haruhi also freaks out. She shouts that she is okay and she is going to brew some tea. Tamaki chases after running Haruhi. He shouts to Haruhi that there is nothing to worry about, daddy is here. Haruhi screams for him not to get near her. Looking at them, Honey asks Mori how does he think of that. Haruhi has been acting strangely for some time now. He wonders what had happened between her and Tamaki but surely, it is that. Kyouya says it is indeed that and if he wants evidence, just look that way. Pointing to Hikaru who is shaking in anger, Kyouya says Hikaru will soon explode already. Honey and Mori sweatdrop. Kaoru is holding a timer and tells Hikaru to bear it. Kaoru starts to countdown to three minutes. After three minutes, Hikaru and Kaoru run to get a raccoon coin bank. Honey asks what it is about. Kaoru explains that he is the one who have thought of it to control Hikaru’s endurance to 3 minutes then put a 100 yen into the coin bank. If it reaches 100,000 yen, then they can buy a tuna for Haruhi to eat. Kyouya asks isn’t 100 yen too small for he would have to do that 1,000 times to reach the goal. Kaoru says that Kyouya is favoring Hikaru too much for they have to do it to that extreme level to temper Hikaru’s rashness on wanting to chase after Haruhi. If Hikaru proposes now, he will most definitely be rejected. Even if Hikaru seems to be more experienced now, he is still only a kid. This hits Hikaru thoroughly since for him, what Kaoru said is true. He angrily tells Karou to stop saying any more. Kaoru smiles and gives him a book. He tells Hikaru if he has become violent, just read a book. Hikaru does read the book as he complains that Kaoru is like a demon coach. Kaoru tells him that’s right, it is a whip of love.
Gesturing to Haruhi and Tamaki, Kaoru says that Haruhi’s behavior towards Tamaki is quite a problem that obviously, she has become quite conscious of Tamaki. Tamaki is telling Haruhi to be nice since the hospital is not something to be frightened about and Kuma-chan [his teddy] will accompany her. Haruhi cries and shouts that’s not it. Honey agrees with Kaoru’s observation. Kyouya says that she would even say that it is a ‘cold’. I’m afraid she haven’t realize it yet but even if Haruhi is ‘slow’ but she isn’t as stupid as to Tamaki’s level and there might be an opportunity wherein she will come to realize her own feelings. Nekozawa approaches Haruhi and asks if there is anything troubling her, would she want her to use a Turkish coffee fortune reading to know her of her feelings. Nekozawa says, I see that it seems you are falling in.. Kaoru quickly flashes his flashlight on Nekozawa. Nekozawa screams for his eyes as Tamaki and Haruhi tries to pacify Nekozawa. Kaoru says that was quite dangerous. Honey asks Kaoru about it. Kaoru says since he is standing at Hikaru’s side, he hopes that Haruhi will ignore her own feelings but if Haruhi likes Tamaki, he doesn’t have a right to hinder her from knowing her own feelings. Honey tries to console Kaoru but he is surprised when Kaoru shouts but he still doesn’t want others to tell Haruhi of her feelings. Kaoru tells Kyouya that since he is standing at Tamaki’s side, he shouldn’t let Haruhi know of her feelings for in that way, things would run smoothly. Kyouya says wasn’t he just trying to obstruct it from running smoothly. Kyouya sighs and tells them to do whatever they want for he is busy investigating some important thing. Kaoru is puzzled by this. Hikaru then shouts to Kaoru that he has finished reading the book. Kaoru exclaims, that’s fast, very good.
Haruhi goes home drained of energy as she thought that another day is over. She wonders what kind of illness does she have if she doesn’t have a cold. It tends to become worse when Tamaki is in front of her. She wonders if it is a heart problem. She has that ‘adverse/resist’ feeling after the two times Tamaki had kissed of her forehead. She is surprised to see Meiko sitting near the gate waiting for her. Meiko shouts that she is so slow, she is already hungry so make her some om-rice/omelet rice. While accompanying Meiko to her apartment, Haruhi comments that Meiko’s skin seems to be lighter. Meiko says that her new goal is to make her skin really white. Haruhi then wonders if around this time, Takami should have arrived at the hotel. In the car, Tamaki is all dressed up in a suit and wonders if Haruhi has safely arrived home. Fixing his tie, he thought that it would have been better if he had driven her to her house. If by tomorrow, Haruhi’s situation haven’t improve, no matter what, I will have to accompany her to the hospital. He wonders if he wears a toy/mascot outfit, Haruhi won’t be that afraid. The driver then says that they have arrived. Inside Roi Grand Hotel, the employees bows to Tamaki as they greet him. An older guy asks for his coat but Tamaki says it is okay if he holds it. He smiles and apologizes for troubling them on such a day and thanks them for teaching him and he will whole-heartedly study. A lady with glasses greets him and tells him to go to the upper floor first and they will start. Tamaki thanks her and asks who she is. She says that she is the one told by the director to be responsible for him, she is Kouban. She then gives him her business card.
At Haruhi’s house, Meiko is getting ready to eat the om-rice that Haruhi prepared. Meiko asks how to oppose ‘resistance/adversity’ feelings, why would she want to do that. Haruhi sadly says whenever she sees Tamaki’s face, her heart will feel a bit hurt and at times, it will beat quite rapidly and she would sometimes feel feverish. Meiko blushes and thought, is that true. Haruhi gloomily says that it would seems that her body has unconsciously been sending a warning. Meiko exclaims wait a minute. Meiko tells her what are you saying, that is obviously... Meiko’s mobile phone starts to ring. She answers what is it, I’m busy. Meiko says, it’s been a long time, ha, things to go smoothly, you’re saying about that..okay, okay, I know, I won’t wantonly say anything. Okay, I already said that I won’t wantonly say anything. Meiko gloomily looks at her phone. Haruhi asks if it is her friend. Meiko says it is Kaoru. Haruhi is surprised and asks what is it. Meiko just says that she is going home. Meiko is already wearing her scarf as she goes to the door. Haruhi chases after her asking about her unfinished om-rice. Meiko apologizes and says that she can give it to Ranka. Haruhi gloomily thought that Meiko already ate two mouthfuls of it. Looking at Haruhi, Meiko opens her bag and takes out a book. She throws it to Haruhi that Haruhi instinctly evades it. Haruhi takes the book and it is a girl’s magazine called Girls Lip. Haruhi asks what it is. Meiko says she has left it. This is something I left here so take good care of it. Haruhi is shock for didn’t she just threw it on the floor. Outside, Meiko thought that even with that magazine, it isn’t yet sure if Haruhi will realize it or not but then, in that way, she still didn’t wantonly say anything. She happily walks away and that things have become more meaningful and fun. Reading through the title of the articles in the magazine, Haruhi wonders what’s with it – seeing people liking people, sex appeal, keeping one’s feelings inside. She then sees a ‘Girls Heart ♥ Diagnosis’ – what is your feeling for that person checklist.
The next day, the twins happily greets Haruhi. Haruhi lamely greets them as her mouth is covered by a mask. They ask her what happened. Haruhi tells them that she is reading a magazine in the kitchen until late night that she has really gotten a cold. Hikaru is about to laugh at her over the magazine but Kaoru nudges him with his elbow and whispers, Hikaru. Hikaru is surprised and quickly asks Haruhi if she is okay. Hikaru tries to impress Haruhi by telling her that he will accompany her to the classroom and she should rest after class. Tamaki happily greets Haruhi and the twins. This extremely surprises Haruhi as Hikaru also freaks out. Tamaki is about to tell them about what happened yesterday but he becomes extremely distress because Haruhi’s cold has gotten worse. Shocked, Haruhi says it is nothing, she was just reading a magazine. Tamaki asks, magazine. 1. Thinking of that person, one’s heart will feel an unexplainable pain. Haruhi blushes and is shock. She tries to run away as she apologizes that she isn’t feeling well so she’ll go ahead. Haruhi thought no, no, what hurts is my heart, not my chest. Tamaki is shock and calls out to Haruhi that if she isn’t feel, she should go to the hospital. Haruhi suddenly stops and turns back to Tamaki, thus surprising him. Blushing, Haruhi pulls down her mask and asks him how was yesterday’s meeting. Tamaki happily tells her that it was splendid how they talk and do things. He was able to strongly feel the employees’ sense of pride in their work and it is such a great feeling. Haruhi smiles and says really, then that’s good.
2. If that person is happy, you will also become happy. Tamaki is going to tell her about yesterday but Haruhi freaks out again and shouts that she is going to the clinic. She thought that she wants to cry. Tamaki shouts shouldn’t it be better if she goes to the hospital. The twins see this. Hikaru is jealous/angry while Kaoru seems stunned/uneasy over this development. 3. You feel like crying when he smiles at you. Tamaki is shouting to Haruhi that hospitals aren’t that scary. Haruhi passes by Honey, Mori, Kyouya and others. Honey calls out to Haruhi but Haruhi kept on running. 4. You don’t hear others’ voices, only that person’s voice reaches your ear. Tamaki calls out to Haruhi as Haruhi covers her ears. 5. There are many things about that person which make you respect/admire him. 6. You totally think of wanting to help him. Haruhi remembers scenes of her doing just those things to Tamaki. Haruhi cries and thought, how can this, how can this be. If you reach about 80 points in this diagnosis, then undoubtedly, you love that person. Haruhi cries and thought, No~~why is it everywhere I look, flowers are flying all around. Tamaki is wearing a kuma-chan suit. He cries to Kyouya if he becomes kuma-chan, won’t she be afraid anymore. I will definitely accompany her to the hospital. Kyouya sighs and says that it is okay. Mori and Honey just look at Tamaki. Hikaru is shaking in anger. Sweatdropping, Kaoru says that it seems three minutes isn’t enough so how about they set the endurance for three hours.
Haha, that was pretty funny. Poor clueless Tamaki. He didn’t know that he is the one who is causing Haruhi’s ‘cold’. Just like Hikaru, someone needs to tell Haruhi what is that feeling she is having that make her want to run away from Tamaki. So, it is only Tamaki who doesn’t know. =P Haha, wearing a kuma-suit might actually work. Hehe It is quite obvious that Kaoru told Meiko not to tell so Meiko just thought of a different way to tell Haruhi by lending her that magazine. I wonder if the ‘tag’ will continue until next chapter. Ah, Hikaru can’t barely hold in his jealousy. Kaoru is pretty clever to devise that activity for Hikaru to endure it. I think it is a way to keep the peace in the club. But then, for how long? Things will get a bit complicated later on but then, it is nice that the author is making it fun as it progresses. =P

Hana to Akuma [Chapter 2]

Bandages wrap around Felton as if he is a mummy with fake blood on his face and on some of the bandages. Hana is in a wolf suit. They happily greet Vivi, trick or treat! Holding a book, Vivi gloomily asks what are they doing. Felton tells him that today in the West, it is Halloweens Day. Hana shouts that Felton told her about it. Vivi tells Felton that he is an akuma so why is he playing human games. Felton tells Vivi that everyone will dress up/cosplay then would asks someone that they want a delicious snack/treat, then later on there will be a dance ball. Humans really think of many interesting things. Felton says so trick or treat, please give us some good treats. Hana is holding a pumpkin head and asks Vivi to wear it. Vivi asks why is it that every time they are doing something, they have to show it to him. Felton says Hana wants to do it together with Vivi. Hana says that’s right but she wants to be a cute male wolf. Vivi asks what is about being male or not, she is a wolf. Hana sadly says she is wearing this outfit so that she can dance with him. To Hana’s shock, Vivi tells him he isn’t dancing. Hana gloomily says he isn’t going to dance with her when she has already tried really hard to learn how to dance. Vivi says he never said that he is going to participate. Hana realized to her horror that Vivi doesn’t like a wolf boy so she should hurriedly change her clothes. She quickly runs away as Vivi angrily tells her to listen to what he is saying. Felton sadly says that what Hana is wearing is pretty cute though.
Hana goes to a room as she wonders where are the other clothes that Felton has brought. To her surprise, a man with bat wings materializes. The man is holding a lollipop. The man wonders if he is in the wrong room. Where is that fool? Somewhere else, Vivi notices a movement on the flame of the candles near where he is sitting with Felton. Vivi says that it seems someone has sneaked in. Felton says it seems. Back in the room, lollipop guy asks if she is the human girl whom Vivi has taken up. Hana is touching the floor wondering where did the guy came from. Lollipop guy angrily tells her to listen to him. Looking surprised, Hana then looks up to him. Lollipop guy wonders what with her looking at him like a fool. Hana shouts trick or treat, please give me a good treat. Lollipop guy is confused then he bites his lollipop and takes a new one from his coat. He gives the new one to Hana. He tells her that he will give it to her but she should tell him where is that guy [Vivi]. Hana happily takes the lollipop and says thanks. She left Lollipop guy confused. Hana calls out to Vivi who is with Felton. Felton asks if she is alright for they want to protect her since there is an akuma who had sneaked in. Pointing to the lollipop, Vivi asks what is she holding. Hana happily says that someone gave it to her and that person is really great that he came out from the floor. Vivi looks at the lollipop speechlessly. Felton says Vivi, this candy is... Vivi gloomily says that person has come again. Hana is confused. Vivi says it is quite troublesome, but he will just go hiding for a while. Felton asks what about Hana. Vivi says that guy is only after him so they can do whatever they want. Felton waves goodbye and says okay, okay, just leave Hana to him. Hana sadly says, Vivi, about the dance. Felton suggests that she dance with her. Hana gloomily says that’s right, I haven’t changed my outfit. Felton wonders if she heard him. Hana tells Felton to wait for her there.
Lollipop guy is walking around while wondering where to find Vivi. He then sees Hana walking along the hallway. He grabs her wolf’s ear and says finally found you, human girl, say it, tell me where Vivi is. Hana looks at him in surprise and exclaims ah, it is the guy who came from the floor, thanks for the candy. Lollipop guy gets angry. Hana says that when Vivi saw the lollipop, he said that he is going to hide so she doesn’t know where he is. Lollipop guy thought in suprise that Hana actually listened to him. Lollipop guy angrily says that Vivi has actually gone hiding when he thought that Vivi would disappear again, that brat. With the shadow bird on her head, Hana tells him that her name is Hana. She asks, what is your name, Vivi’s friend? Lollipop guy angrily says who is that guy’s friend!! He introduces himself as Graves who is with Vivi since he was young. Graves complains, really, age and titles/nobility is really different. Hana asks the akuma/demon world has titles? Graves asks didn’t she heard it from Vivi. Hana says Vivi doesn’t tell me anything about the akuma world so, tell me, Graves. Graves angrily tells not to call him fondly that way. Graves draws on the floor as he explains that the highest leader position in the akuma world is the akuma king then there are many levels below him. Those akuma who have ability are given titles. Graves shows the different level of titles from the lowest as baron [Graves’ title] -> viscount -> earl -> marquees -> duke [Vivi’s title] -> Grand duke as highest. Hana asks what about Felton. Graves says that Felton is also a baron. To become a grand duke, he must have been a favorable duke and should be known as a notorious akuma. Hana says that Vivi is really great. Graves says that he [Graves] is at the same age as Felton so they have the same title but Vivi is different. Graves angrily complains that even when Vivi is still a young akuma, he already has this cold icy look in his face, and he is 2-3 steps ahead of the others. Vivi is the youngest one in the akuma world to have easily attain that status in a short span of time.
Flashback: Young Vivi turned around and said he isn’t interested. This made young Graves irritated. He would try to beat Vivi in everything from grades to fighting but Vivi is always better than him. One day, Graves showed Vivi of some papers that grant him the status of being a baron. Vivi said that’s good. Graves is irritated by this. A servant called out to Vivi that the ceremony for giving titles have already started so why did Vivi said he isn’t going home. He will become a duke on that day. Vivi turned around and said he isn’t interested. Graves is shock that Vivi will become a duke. Angrily, Graves bit on his lollipop. Leaving his duke status, Vivi left akuma world. A servant is calling him back that he will soon attain the position of akuma king. In the akuma world, he will carry the status.. Vivi put on his hat and told them, I’m really not interested. End flashback. Graves angrily shout you are always not interested! The things that he wanted to attain is easily within Vivi’s reach yet Vivi just discarded them. Who do you think you are! Graves catches his breath. Hana says that there is nothing that can be done about that because she likes flowers but Vivi isn’t interested in them at all. The most important thing for Vivi is not the same as Graves’ most important thing. This made Graves angry as he bites into his lollipop. He strangles Hana and pushes her to the floor. Graves tells her not to say such things as if she knows everything since Vivi is an akuma who sucks human blood to gain strength. Hana tells him that Vivi has never suck her blood. Graves is surprised by this and asks, so why is he taking care of you? In Vivi’s hidden room, he is lying on the sofa when shadow bird comes flying to him. Holding up his arm, it perches on it. Vivi asks what is the matter. He then sees the bitten off lollipop on the bird’s beak. Vivi asks if it is that guy.
Trying to strangle Hana, Graves shouts that Vivi isn’t interested in anyone so if Vivi isn’t planning to make her his meal, what other reason could Vivi have that he takes care of her. Hana shouts that it isn’t like that, Vivi treats her nicely. Graves shouts how could that be. Hana says that Vivi gives her parties and would accompany her while she sleeps. Graves imagines Vivi wearing a party hat and popping party poppers while Hana is happily sleeping. Graves says that’s enough, just thinking about it makes him feel sick. Graves tells Hana why don’t they test it, if nice Vivi will save her or not. Would he appear in front of him? Graves tries to bite Hana’s neck. Hana tries to struggle and shouts for him to let go. Graves shout for her to keep still, this is just a test, if there is a bit smell of blood, Vivi will notice it. Hana shouts, No and calls out to Vivi’s name. On cue, shadow bird pecks on Graves’ forehead. His forehead is bleeding as he shouts, what? Vivi picks up Hana from the floor and carries her on his shoulder. Vivi angrily tells Graves not to touch this person [Hana] as he pleases. Graves looks at him in surprise because Vivi really came. Hana is in tears as Vivi asks what is she doing, why isn’t she with Felton. Vivi then hugs Hana. Graves thought how could a cold faced person who is 2-3 steps ahead of others, a stupid fool who doesn’t find anyone interesting, would even say such words.
Putting Hana down, Vivi tells Graves what does he want, go home already. Graves tells him not to act as if he didn’t know, he decided to go there to bring Vivi back to akuma world. Hana is surprised by this. Vivi scratches his head and complains that he is like Felton, not really interesting. Graves gloomily says Vivi saying such things with that face, like he did before, makes him feel irritated. Graves says that’s right, Felton is suppose to accompany Vivi back to akuma world but ended up staying above ground so now, it is he who has come to bring him back. Graves tells Vivi to come already. With her arms spread out, Hana firmly shouts, No, Vivi is Hana’s person, you cannot take him away. This surprises both Vivi and Graves. Vivi asks hey, when did I become your person. Graves angrily says does she think that she can go against him, she sure have guts. He angrily stares at Hana who also angrily stares at him. Vivi just speechlessly looks at Hana. With some electricity coming out of his gloved hand, Graves says that he will make her disappear. Felton grabs Graves’ hand and pins his arm to his back. Felton smilingly says how could he treat a girl like that, you are really still a kid. Graves screams that it hurts. Felton greets Graves that it has been a long time. Graves shouts what is he doing. Vivi sighs and he is already in front of Hana to protect her if Graves had attacked her. Felton apologizes and says Hana had already said don’t take Vivi away so sorry, I’m a comrade of girls. They have tied up Graves who shouts for him to quit joking around. Felton tells Graves to cool down. Vivi tells Graves to tell those old men that in these past ten years, he never thought of returning back. Graves shout to quit joking around, stupid. Hana happily looks at Vivi. Vivi sighs and tells Hana, and you, how can I dance with you in that outfit. Hana is happily surprised and quickly shouts that she is going to change. She leaves as Felton just laughs and shouts for her to hurry or she’ll be late.
At the party, Vivi says that Halloween party has started. He just puts on a black cape as his costume while Hana is in a witch costume. Hana happily dances with Vivi while Felton is dancing with a maid. Tony and the other servants happily look at them. After the dance, Vivi sighs and thought that Hana’s dancing is quite bad that he is very tired. Holding a gelatin/pudding mold, Felton tries to feed Hana a forkful. Hana wants it so she opens her mouth to eat it. Vivi remembers Hana shouting, Vivi is Hana’s person, you cannot take him away. Vivi smiles and takes the fork from Felton that Felton shouts what is Vivi doing. Vivi asks Hana, today is the day when the dead wants to eat some treat. Hana promptly says, trick or treat. Vivi feeds her with the pudding and says good work. Hana happily smiles and thought that Vivi has fed her. Looking at Hana, Vivi thought that the pudding must have been sweet. Felton cries that Vivi is too much for that is what he wanted to do. Graves gloomily thought that he will remember that accomplice. On the floor beside him is his lollipop and a note saying, eat this if you are hungry.
Another cute chapter of Hana no Akuma. ^-^ Vivi really does have a soft spot for Hana. Even if he isn’t interested in Halloween and stuff, he still eventually do it for her. A new character is introduced and he reminds me of Kuze from Ouran. Actually, Vivi-Graves interaction when they were young really reminds me of Kyouya-Kuze. For Graves, instead of orange, it is a lollipop. The author made things more interesting as it turn out that Vivi ‘runs away’ from the akuma world as he is bored with it. Mm..did all his other servants went along with him or they followed him later on? Well, I guess he is just too talented that he easily gets bored and find things not interesting. That is until he picked up Hana and took care of her. Hana’s niceness and innocence can easily win people and I think that is why Felton has decided to visit them often. Unless of course, Felton wants to mingle with Vivi’s maids ^^; Before I thought that it is because of the era that they are wearing European-style clothes but it turned out that akumas have nobility status. Haha, no wonder Vivi is rich and dresses well. =P This series supposedly end at chapter 3 but from the official website, it seems that this series is going to be continued/serialized by the author on Hana to Yume’s January issue. Yay! I’m happy about that because the story is pretty cute and amusing. Her third chapter ending is open ended so at least, I can now what happens to them..how they can live together when the akuma want Vivi back aside from other differences like age and being an akuma when Hana is a human. ^-^

[Ah, while waiting for Chinese scans of Ouran, Vampire Knight, The One, Nana, etc, I did this chapter along with Hana to Akuma and the already posted up Bokutachi wa Shitte Shimatta early this week. Now, most of the scans I’m waiting for are already up. ^^;; Well, it is just a case of bad timing. When I’m free, the scans aren’t up but when I’m not, they are all up. Mm..which one should I do first? @_@;; Well, since I don't like being pressured, I'll just upload Hana to Akuma tomorrow and try to do as much summaries as I can for next week. =P]
Sakura is shock that Akira is Risa’s boyfriend. Edaiki asks if they know each other. Sakura struggles with words how to say it but Akira quickly exclaims that it has been a long time since graduation. Addressing Sakura as ‘Sakura-chan’ [ her name instead of surname so that means they are close], Akira says they are classmates in high school and their relationship in class is quite good. Sakura just agrees and wonders why he said after graduation and their relationship is good when they had going steady since first year high school up to when they were 21 years old. [Fyi, Sakura is 26 years old and has no love life in the span of 5 years] During dinner, Akira tells them that his hometown is the same as Sakura’s. He start to live alone in the city when he was in college because his house is very from school. Edaiki asks what club is Akira in that he is Risa’s sempai. Akira says from ice skating and if he isn’t doing that, he plays tennis and other sports. Edaiki asks when did they go steady. Akira says he thinks that Risa is cute so he decided to try to get close to her. Risa admits that she likes Akira from the start. Akira is surprised. They were lovely-dovey much to Edaiki’s irritation. Sakura can only sweatdrop and glances at him. Akira then asks when did Edaiki and Sakura went steady. The two were surprised as Sakura says that it is around 3 months already. Akira asks where did they met. Edaiki tells him their relationship isn’t his concern. Akira apologizes as Risa is angry at her brother. Edaiki just calmly eats as Sakura just looks at him. Sakura thought that Edaiki doesn’t like Akira but then, any brother would not like the boyfriend of one’s cute sister.
When Sakura comes out of the comfort room, she finds Akira waiting for her. Akira says he never thought that he will see her again and of all places, here . He thanks her for going along with what he said earlier. Sakura asks what is he planning that he said that. Akira apologizes for it and explains that if they knew that he was her ex-boyfriend, things will be quite troublesome since Risa is an easily jealous girl and he doesn’t want Risa to be worried. Sakura insists that it is still a lie so up to when does he plan to tell the truth. Akira says they shouldn’t reveal it because Edaiki is seeing him now is because he is Risa’s boyfriend and it will be a bad impression if Edaiki learns that he is Sakura’s ex-boyfriend. Akira says that Edaiki doesn’t like him that much but he doesn’t object over his relationship with Risa. Sakura says it will be troublesome if it is learned later on. Sakura is surprised when Edaiki also goes to the comfort room area and asks what are they doing. Akira quickly apologizes and alibis that they were talking about their past. Edaiki looks angry that scares Akira and surprises Sakura. After dinner, Risa with Akira thanks them for dinner and bids them goodbye. Sakura happily waves goodbye. Edaiki asks if Sakura is still free, would she want to join him for a drink some place. While having a drink at a bar, Edaiki says that he really doesn’t like Akira. Sakura thought so it seems. Edaiki angrily complains that Akira kept on calling someone’s girlfriend, Sakura-chan, Sakura-chan, as if they are very close. Sakura is surprised by this and wonders if this is the reason why Edaiki doesn’t like Akira. Sakura explains that everyone calls her that. Edaiki says that was before and Akira shouldn’t have done it when he is in front of him. Sakura blushes a bit over this.
The next day, Sakura gets a call from her editor asking her to write a 70 page continuation of her story before. It turned out not to be that bad so Sakura is really happy about it. She dances in joy until she bumps her knee on the table. Sakura receives a text from Risa. It seems that Sakura has informed Risa about her past relationship with Akira. Risa agrees to keep it from her brother and would want Sakura to tell her about her high school life with Akira before. Sakura gets another text from Akira which asks if she would like to go to their high school reunion. Sakura seems to be free around that time so she plans to go. She then sits down in front of her desk and decides to go to work. She stares at her notebook and to her surprise, she can’t think of anything to write. Elsewhere, Misono is having a date with Takashi when they meet with Sakeki. When Misono is introducing her to him, Takashi recognizes her as a mangaka. Takashi tells Sakeki that he likes her work and even asks if he can shake her hands. Misono seems jealous that after Sakeki left, she asks if he likes Sakeki. Takashi tries to tell her that he only likes Sakeki’s work. Misono says didn’t he also said that he likes her work. Takashi says that is true. Misono then makes him pick which one does he like better. Takashi can’t say it that Misono is angry that she decides to go home.
When Misono arrives home, she starts to complain about it to Sakura that Takashi should have said that he likes her work better. She then rationalizes that it is new that she is dating with a guy who likes shoujo manga. Since Sakura isn’t answering, Misono asks if she is listening. Sakura says she is as she is lying down on the sofa. She must have told Misono that she has a writer’s block that Misono lectures her that she should do her best else her stories won’t be that popular. Sakura cries for her not to pressure her. Misono laughs and says that she will get an idea soon. After hanging up her phone, Sakura can’t believe her mind is totally blank but she is encouraged by Misono’s words that an idea will come soon. Looking at her calendar, she notes that her reunion will be tomorrow so even if she isn’t in the mood, she decides to go ahead. At the reunion, Sakura meets her friends including Tsuru whom she visited before in Kyoto. He apologizes for his behavior the last time they met because of his problem. Sakura says it is nothing and asks if everything is okay now. He tells her it is. Sakura is glad that she came. Akira sees her so he goes to greet her. Tsuru asks didn’t they break off. Sakura says they did. Akira says it is because they have meet with each other just recently. While walking at the crowded streets, Sakura notes that there are many people. Akira reaches his hand to her so that they won’t be separated. Sakura looks at him in surprise. She asks him what is it. Akira repeats that he doesn’t want her to get lost so.. Sakura says she knows about that but why now. She asks him not to do that since it feels weird. Akira is shock and says does saying that makes her feel happy. Sakura asks something about it being a mutual introduction. Akira says it isn’t.
Akira confesses that Risa is younger by 6 years to him and she is cute that anyone can’t resist. He tries to look cool so that she won’t hate him but it is quite tiring. Risa is still a child that at times, it feels she is not that perfect. Compare to Sakura, Sakura easily understands him and they can talk about anything. When he was with her, he is really happy. He wanted to see her again so he made up a plan and that is why there is a reunion that night. Sakura freaks out and shouts for him to wait a minute. She asks him what does he really want to say for she is feeling some bad vibes. Akira smiles at her and says, okay, I’ll say it, will you please go steady with me again? Sakura looks at him in surprise and asks does he plan to two-time the two of them. Akira laughs and tells her not to put it that way, that would be quite a misunderstanding but then, that is exactly what he means. Sakura feels faint. Sakura says she wants to go home. Akira asks weren’t they going to continue elsewhere. Sakura says she doesn’t want to go anymore. Akira shouts for her to call him since she now knows his number. Sakura turns around and shouts rejected, who would call you stupid. Sakura angrily leaves as Akira tells himself that Sakura really wants to call. At her apartment, Sakura gloomily wonders if Akira became like that after the five years they haven’t met or was he like that ever since before. She thought that he is a bit like that but never in that degree. Sakura screams that it is because of him that she can’t go to work.
Sakura and her staff are already working as Sakura is gloomily working that she needs to draw a lot to fill 70 pages. She decides to write a message to Edaiki that she can’t go out for she is busy and wasn’t able to finish. Edaiki writes back that he is eating at a good sushi restaurant and they should go next time. Sakura happily texts back, sure. She thought to herself that she can’t wait to eat sushi. After some days past, Sakura looks tired as Koyama takes her drawings. She tells Sakura good work for finishing the 70 pages and she will just call her later on. Sakura happily texts Edaiki that she is finish. Edaiki texts her that at his side, he is very busy until the end of the month. Sakura is sad about that. Edaiki texts if she really wants to see him. Sakura answers back that she just wants to eat sushi. Edaiki didn’t answer back. Sakura wonders if he is angry. She thought no way, he must be laughing. Sakura goes to a dreamy look and kisses her phone. She thought, honestly, I really want to see you.
So much for Akira who turns out to be a playboy. Hehe, it seems that Sakura’s relationship with Edaiki isn’t one-sided. It does seem that Edaiki is jealous of Akira especially since how Akira calls her name fondly. Thing would get a bit complicated if Edaiki learns that Akira used to be her boyfriend especially since he is already jealous without knowing that. I feel sorry for Risa to have such a boyfriend. I guess brotherly vibes is working. =P I do wonder if Akira is just imaging that Sakura still likes him or it is really true. It made me think that he is the one who ended the relationship. Misono is really hard to please that I think the kind of boyfriend she wants is a yes-man who pleases her every whim and treats her like a queen. Haha, each Spicy Pink chapter summary is getting longer and longer. ^^;;

I wouldn’t dare open the second [strawberry flavored] lollipop so I just placed it on my table. Even if it isn’t Yukito, why do I become nervous whenever I see it? Isn’t just an ordinary candy? An image of Yukito giving it to her. Looking at the lollipop, Kotori remembers Yukito telling her to make him her boyfriend. She gloomily thought that she escaped as she took her bag and ran away from the karaoke room. How should I answer? I don’t know. Talking to herself, Kotori shouts that surely Yukito is just joking around so she should have answer whatever comes in mind. She then thought even so, she still doesn’t know what or how to answer. She begins to wonder if it is really a joke and what is this feeling she is feeling. At school, the teacher sees Kotori and asks her to do some student errands [I’m not exactly sure but it seems to involve filling up forms for the students and the other is to write some kind of diary report about class] with Yukito. He says he plans to ask the first student he sees but it will be okay if the two Kaijis do it. Kotori tries to protest that she isn’t close with Yukito but the teacher didn’t listen to her and just leaves to talk with another teacher. She gloomily thought why does it have to be Yukito for she doesn’t have the face to see him after what happened yesterday. She opens the door to the classroom with her eyes closed. When she opens her eyes, Yukito isn’t in his seat. Since his bag isn’t there yet, Kotori thought that maybe he haven’t arrive yet. Kotori overhears the boys talking about Yukito. One boy asks if he is absent. Another boy says that he isn’t because he has seen Yukito. Yukito has told him that he will be in the clinic. They wonder if Yukito isn’t feeling well. As the teacher is teaching, Kotori wonders if Yukito has a cold. She then reprimands herself not to mind him for she can do the errands herself. She begins to wonder if Yukito is really not coming.
Kotori goes to the clinic and peeks inside. She sees no one is there. She opens the curtain to the bed and finds Yukito sleeping. She looks at his lips and her heart starts to beat loudly. She is shock that her hand is trying to touch him. What am I doing?! Kotori is surprised when Yukito holds her hand and asks, is it ‘because I’m worried so I came’? Her face is quite close to him that she blushes and quickly pulls away. She denies being worried and says she is here because the teacher asked her to do an errand with him so she came to tell him that. Yukito says he would rather go back to sleep. Kotori asks if he is skipping class. Yukito tells her that he can’t hardly wake up this morning so he is listless but it is because of Ana-chan [Kotori] that he is now more energetic. Kotori thought that he is saying those kind of things again. Kotori tells him that he can go back to sleep for she can do it alone since she would even do Yukito’s part. Yukito says that she is such a nice person. Glancing at her, he asks why is she angry does it mean she likes doing that errand. This infuriates Kotori that she shouts that she really, really like doing this errand so much that she is angry. She says that is why she isn’t going to let him do it. She leaves the room as Yukito burst into laughter. What does she mean liking to do that errand that it makes her angry. Kotori thought that she finally said it and gives herself a thumbs up. She then blushes as she remembers their almost kiss. She then dismisses what happened yesterday as a joke by Yukito.
In the faculty room, the homeroom teacher gives Kotori the papers that the students need to fill out or something. When she comes out, Harada is there asking if she is going to do that errand with Yukito. Kotori says she is. Harada asks doesn’t she know that Yukito isn’t around. Kotori says it seems that he is sleeping in the clinic. Harada says is that so, well, good luck. Kotori wonders isn’t she going to help her as she watches Harada happily skipping away. In the classroom, Kotori stands in front and tries to get the students to listen to her. I think she is trying to get them to pass the finished papers but no one is listening to her as they kept on talking. Kotori thought that it is because her voice is too soft. She tries to speak louder as Harada looks at Kotori and laughs with her friend. To Kotori’s surprise, Yukito is standing beside her and tells the others to fill up the forms. He tells them that the teacher said if they don’t fill it properly, they will have to clean the room later on. If they like to clean the room, that is okay but he really hates to wait. The students look scared as Yukito looks darkly at them. They thought that he must really be a delinquent before. After class, Yukito tells Kotori that he collected all the forms. Kotori thanks him as she is writing on the notebook which seems to be the teacher’s other errand. Kotori is then surprised to see Yukito putting his bottled drink on the table. He pulls a chair and sits in front of her. He then looks at her. Kotori asks what is it, she will just finish this diary report and he can go on ahead. Yukito smiles and says that he wants to watch her write. Kotori blushes and bends down as she wonders why. She looks up to see that he is still looking at her that she quickly looks down again. She begins to become too conscious of him watching her that she isn’t writing well.
Yukito grabs her mechanical pencil and says that he will write it. Kotori becomes embarrassed when Yukito is reading out loud what she wrote -- it is spring, etc. Kotori tells him to write it and not read what she wrote out loud. Yukito starts to write on the diary as Kotori looks mesmerized by him. She thought that his hair is pretty when the sun shines on it much like when he was sleeping in the clinic earlier. To her surprise, Yukito is looking at her. Yukito teasingly says if she is watching him, he won’t write well. Embarrassed, Kotori tells him to just quickly write already. Kotori blushes as she looks away wondering why is her heart beating so loudly. Kotori asks why did Yukito said about the teacher making them clean if the forms weren’t filled up properly when the teacher never said that. Yukito says it doesn’t matter because saying that will make everyone write the forms. Yukito gives him the diary and asks if that is okay. Kotori tells him to wait as she reads the diary. To Kotori’s surprise, Yukito wrote on it, “I would like to understand Ana-chan more, tell me” She looks at him as Yukito says that she said before that he doesn’t understand her so tell him about herself and also, tell him the answer to what he said yesterday. Kotori blushes really red and holds the notebook tight. She thought but that was a joke. Yukito holds her hair and he leans closer to her. They were interrupted by Harada who asked what are they doing. Harada says good thing that Yukito is there for she thought he already left. She informs him that the teacher is calling for him. Yukito asks if it is true. Harada tells him to hurry up and calls him by his name. [Calling by name instead of surname means they are close] Kotori is shock by this. Yukito stands up and decides to leave. Harada asks if she can drink Yukito’s drink because she ran all way to the classroom. Yukito says she can. Harada thanks him then drinks it while happily stare at Kotori as if she is gloating. [It is an indirect kiss] Kotori wonders what does Harada meant by that look. Harada looks triumphant over Kotori that she bends down on the table and asks if Kotori likes Yukito. Since she is pressured and everything, Kotori blurts out that she doesn’t like him. Yukito who is still outside the door overhears this.
Harada is happy to hear that and says, really, so that is how it is. They were interrupted when Yukito opens the door and comes in. Kotori looks at him in surprise. Yukito takes his bottled drink and says he forgot it. He slams the door on the way out that Kotori wonders if Yukito has heard it and might have misunderstood it. She tells herself not to mind it too much. Harada looks happy and asks Kotori if she wants to go home with her. Kotori wonders why is she feeling uneasy. The next day, Harada happily greets Kotori as she is chatting with Yukito. She then realizes that Harada is sitting on her seat. Yukito glances at her and greets her a good morning. Kotori quietly greets back. As she looks at them, she wonders what is this that she is feeling. The teacher is telling the students to look over some papers about the field trip. The papers are being passed around. Kotori is reading hers that Yukito has to tell her to quickly give his. Kotori did and thought that Yukito seems to be his normal self. He begins to wonder if Yukito did or didn’t heard it yesterday. The teacher says that the seating arrangement will be according to their names. Kotori freaks out that she will be seated beside Yukito. The teacher then tells the two Kaiji to stay behind for there is still work to do – which is related to the errand earlier. Harada comes to Kotori again and says she is jealous of Kotori who will get to sit with Yukito. Harada and her friend pretend to want to ask Kotori about something but won’t dare to. Kotori realizes that Harada likes Yukito and what Harada wants to ask so she offers to change seats with her. Harada is thrilled to hear this. Harada and her friend are really happy and to thank Kotori, she plans to invite Kotori to go out with them after school next time. She then asks another favor from Kotori.
Yukito bids goodbye to his friends for he has to stay to do the errand. When he enters the classroom, he is surprised to find Harada there. Harada tells him that Kotori has left because Kotori has asked her to do this errand. Since Kotori doesn’t like to do it, Kotori has exchanged places with her. Opening her shoe locker, Kotori wonders if it is okay not to tell Yukito about the switching with Harada over that duty. She thought that it is okay since Harada likes Yukito. She wonders if it is okay since she is just wants to go out with Harada and others. To her surprise, Yukito slams her shoe locker. Kotori asks what is it. Yukito angrily says it is nothing. Kotori tells him to let go of his hand for she is going home. Her wallet falls down. She tries to pick it up but Yukito kicks it away. She tries to get it again but he kicks it away again. She shouts what is he doing. Yukito angrily says that her trying to easily get along with others can make one really angry. Yukito leaves as Kotori wonders what does he mean and why did he did that. I think it is already the next day when Harada gives the diary notebook back to Kotori. Harada says it seems that Yukito doesn’t want to work with her and it is quite irritating. Kotori thought no way after what happened between her and Yukito yesterday. Harada says as thanks for what she did yesterday, she had already arranged for Kotori to meet that student from Shou Sekae. She tells Kotori to wait for it as the meeting time is at 5pm today. Kotori is shock and why had this happened and why today. The teacher ends the class and tells them to be careful on their way home. Kotori tries to asks the teacher if there is anything else she can do after school. The teacher asks if she really likes doing that kind of work. Abe tells Yukito to go out and play some ball with the soccer. They left laughing as Kotori thought that Yukito won’t even look at her.
Outside, Abe apologizes to the other boys and says that he is leaving. A boy asks if it is a girl. Abe says it is an arranged date because Harada kept on asking him to make an arrangement with the student from Shou Sekae with Kotori. To Abe’s surprise, Yukito is holding him in a head grip. Abe asks what is the matter. Kotori is browsing over the diary notebook as she touches the part where Yukito wrote her a message. It is now erased. She then overhears Yukito passing by outside. Yukito is tired from playing that he cools himself by the sink and removed his shirt. Kotori approaches him. Yukito asks what is it. He then drinks the water from the faucet. Kotori wonders why Yukito isn’t looking at her. She begins to wonder over what had happened earlier – Yukito writing that message, kicking her wallet, holding her hair, Harada gloating while drinking. She then looks at Yukito’s lips and wonders why. To Yukito’s surprise, Kotori presses over the water that it splashes all over them. Yukito holds her hand to stop her and shouts that it is cold, what are you doing. Blushing, Kotori says this is revenge. She quickly runs away as Yukito looks a bit stunned. She goes to the clinic as the doctor reprimands her for playing with water. The doctor goes to get something as Kotori towels herself dry. She enters inside and wonders if Yukito is inside.
She opens the curtains and he isn’t there. She lies down on the pillow and thought that this is where Yukito slept. She then realizes what she has done earlier. Yukito must be furious over it. She starts to hide inside the blanket and thought that she can’t see Yukito anymore, if she did, she will definitely be beaten up. She remembers the arranged date that she quickly looks out to see what time it is. I think it is already 420pm. Kotori thought that she doesn’t want to go to a date that others have decided for her. She hates it when she won’t speak out and wished that she is stronger. If only she has a friend whom she can talk to. She remembers her friend that she chatted with on the DS before. She opens her DS then she looks behind her. To her surprise, a strange looking eye is looking at her then closes the curtain. She freaks out and gets really scared that she runs out. She bumps on Yukito who is about to go in the clinic. He asks what’s the matter. Holding on to him, she points to the window and says that there is an eye. Yukito says there is nothing there though the window is open. She is then surprised that she is holding on to Yukito that she quickly lets go of him. She wonders why is he there. She quickly looks down embarrassed for she doesn’t want to see him right now. Yukito says, Ana-chan, let’s go home together. I want –- to go home with you. Kotori blushes and wonders why is he saying that. Kotori says that she has a date. Yukito asks if she really wants to go. Kotori asks huh? Yukito says she can go if she wants to. He holds her hand and says, that is if you can -- but, I will not let you go.. Kotori looks surprised at him and thought that she really doesn’t understand him. But I won’t let go of his hand so does it mean that I want to be with him--?
Hehe, how naïve can Kotori get? =P Obviously Yukito likes her but she seems to be in a bit of denial about that or maybe she is oblivious. It isn’t surprising for she is oblivious to her own feelings for him, too. Yukito does seem to be coming on strong yet he is quite sensitive that after overhearing Kotori saying she doesn’t like him, he quickly backs away. It takes some jealousy and splashing of water to make him become assertive again. Hehe Kotori seems to be choosing over ‘fake’ friends over Yukito. She didn’t even consider Yukito when she agreed to exchange places with Harada. Harada is quite manipulative and wants to get Yukito to herself. Since Kotori is timid and tries to please Harada, Harada can easily make Kotori do what she want. I don’t know what’s with the ‘eye’ thing. Is the author going for some ghost story in school? It is indeed quite creepy that I wonder if this is the only time it appears or it will re-appear again. It will indeed be scary if that is Kotori’s friend on the DS. =P

Weekly Jump Update: Bleach, Naruto, One Piece, D. Grayman, Reborn and Gintama

Rukia wakes up and is surprised to see Byakuya and others there in Bleach [c. 304]. Byakuya tells her to stay still to be healed. Rukia is worried by his wounds and that his captain coat is on the floor. While looking afar, Byakuya tells her not to be concerned about that and just get healed for there are battles ahead. Elsewhere, Nnoitra and Kenpachi are happily fighting each other. Inoue is about to heal Ichigo but Ichigo asks her to heal Nel first. Elsewhere, Chad wakes up and sees Unohana looking afar. Elsewhere, Mayuri is listening to the fight between Kenpachi and Nnoitra. Renji and Ishida see that Aporro is eaten by Mayuri’s pet. Renji starts to get sick by Mayuri’s pet’s poison and wonders why Ishida isn’t affected. Ishida says he has resistance because he was affected before. To Ishida’s surprise, he also starts to get infected. Mayuri tells him that he changes his poison every time. Ishida asks for the antidote. Namu who is still being held by a tentacle asks Mayuri to free her. Ishida tells him to free Nemu but Mayuri tosses the antidote to them. Before long, Nemu starts to look sick and in pain. Ishida tries to get Mayuri to save Nemu but Mayuri just watches over her. They were surprise that Nemu’s stomach became huge and the tentacle holding her is connected to her stomach as if taking in nutrients. They heard Aporro asking if they think they had killed him. Aporro explains that he put in a seed in his victim causing the ‘mother’ to give birth to him at an accelerated rate which eventually kills the ‘mother’. Nemu calls out to Mayuri as she dries out. Aporro comes out of her mouth and drops her withered away. Aporro says that they fight again with proper introductions and calls Mayuri’s name. Mayuri looks unfazed and intrigued. I guess he heard Mayuri’s whole name from Ishida. That was really gross. Does this mean Nemu is dead or Mayuri will just ‘create’ a new one? I still don’t know if Ishida and Renji has already drank the antidote but then would they even able to help in this battle of mad scientists? Anyway, it is time for a re-match. I do wonder if eating Aporro’s body by Mayuri’s pet would give Mayuri data on how to defeat Aporro.
Tobi easily defeats Naruto and sends him flying into a pond in Naruto [c. 383]. Kakashi notes that Tobi is just playing around. Pain-s sees that there are numbers behind father frog’s back which Jiraiya has wrote. Fat Pain tries to hit it with his hand flying punch but it just made Jiraiya fall down into the water. Another Pain senses that he got away. While drifting down the water, Jiraiya plans to write his new novel, the tales of Uzamaki Naruto. Tsunade is sitting on a pagoda near a lake. A frog jumps into the lake then reveals the reflection of the stone statue of the hokages. Naruto angrily comes out of the water and tells Tobi that he doesn’t have time to play with Tobi. All of them then prepares to attack Tobi. Back to Pain, he says if it weren’t for their secret, they would have lost. One of them says no wonder Jiraiya is his teacher and Jiraiya ought to be praised. He then calls out to someone to come out. It is Zetsu who notes that Pain took a long time to finish the fight. Pain says it was troublesome just when Madara orders him to capture the nine tails. One half of Zetsu wants to see that while the other one wants to observe another fight – that is, Sasuke vs Itachi. Itachi appears behind Sasuke and sees how good Sasuke’s eyesight about seeing him death. They then start their own battle. I wonder if Jiraiya wanting to write a novel about Naruto and the hokage reflection on the water means that Naruto will soon be on his path on becoming a hokage. I think Tobi will play around with them as he waits for Pain to arrive. I assume that Tobi can read through Naruto’s attacks because he as a sharingan. Anyway, I think the author will focus on Sasuke-Itachi fight for now since it will take time for Pain to arrive where Naruto and others are.
Usopp and others scream as Zoro and others start to disappear in the sun in One Piece [c. 483]. They exclaim how could this happen when they have won. Elsewhere in different parts of the world, people are rejoicing as their shadows have returned. With that, Zoro and others were back to normal again. The theory is that just as Moria is able to shape one’s body with a shadow, when the shadow returns, the body’s shape is formed back. Inside the castle, Hogback wakes Absalom up and he seems to have some plan. Chopper checks on unconscious Luffy. Usopp expresses his concern over Luffy that Luffy will be more reckless when they fight with their more powerful enemies that he won’t be concerned with his own body. The victims of Moria starts to thank them when Nami remembers something – it is about Kuma. On cue, Kuma appears before them while talking on the snail. Kuma reports what Strawhats did. The one whom he is talking with tells Kuma that they couldn’t let another seven seas be defeated. Moria will not relinquish his status if he is still alive. To keep things the same, Kuma is ordered to kill everyone there so that there is no witnesses to Moria’s defeat. Nami warns everyone that Kuma’s hand can make people disappear. From the top of the tower, Kuma teleports to where the pirates where. Kuma easily defeats the pirates attacking him by using his hand which shot something that hit a column of pirates. Kuma teleports again and goes near Zoro. Kuma says he is going to start with Zoro, the pirate hunter. Wow, just when I thought they are going to the celebration party as they all got their shadows and defeated Moria, Kuma is going to attack them while Luffy is still unconscious. The government really thinks of them as a threat. I guess they have to find Kuma’s weakness as soon as possible else they will be wiped out.
Winters releases his innocence in D. Gray-man [c. 142]. It is called Madness – a ring with two huge blades attached to it. He removes his mask and starts killing akumas. More akumas arrive when they learn that the generals are there. Theodore protects the remaining scientists. Cloud Nine’s innocence is her monkey which turns into a huge beasts that attacks akuma. Cross just lazily shoots all the akumas that he sees and the akumas that were going to attacking him. Winters chops up the akumas and their blood falls like rain. He feels that it is quite comfortable. Miranda looks at them and thought they were great. Ya, so this chapter is basically generals showing their powers/innocence and easily defeats a massive number of akumas. It does seem that Winters is a bit of a madman who is on a killing spree ^^;; Well, this goes to show that Allen and others are way, way inferior to generals. It made me really wonder if Kevin whom Tiki defeated was the weakest of the generals.
Millefiore troops goes to the Vongola hideout while everyone is asleep in Katekyo Hitman Reborn! [c. 175]. Tsuna wakes up from some noise and decides to go out to check it out. He meets with Takeshi who also heard the noise. Reborn also comes out and says that maybe that is the cause. They see Hibari carrying Hayato’s cat. Hibari says that it went to his room. The cat is busy scratching the wall. Hayato calls his cat Uri [melon] and says he thought he put Uri in the box. Uri then scratches Hayato’s face as Tsuna thought they still can’t get along. Hibari threatens to beat them up for being noisy but then says that he is sleepy so he’ll do it next time. Hayato thanks Hibari for bringing Uri back and promises to repay him. Hibari says he won’t be anticipating it. Hayato is exclaims why not. Tsuna says that tomorrow, do their best. Hibari says that even if he dies, he would not fight nor team up with them because he is strong. To their surprise, Hibari greets them a good night before leaving. Takeshi muses that Hibari haven’t changed since before. Reborn suggests that they all go back to sleep. They all go back to bed. While Giannini is drunk and fast asleep, Millefiore troops has invaded and destroy the camera. Irie is in the base while coordinating the attack. Separate troops has started digging while others block all roads that can be used as an escape route. After digging, they finally found a steel wall that is used as the roof of Vogola’s base. Irie orders them to blast it. The wall is destroyed and the troops start to jump down into Vongola hideout. Irie orders them to get the Vongola rings and if possible, the guardians alive. If they resist, kill them.
The troops were a bit confused when they find themselves in a great Japanese style hall. To their surprise, the hole they created is quickly sealed in. Hibari appears and says that only the weak attack in groups. He will bite them to death like cornered rats. The troops scream that it is a trap. Tsuna and others are running when they were informed that they were attacked and Hibari has gone to fight them. Tsuna wants to help Hibari but Ryohei protest that they shouldn’t, otherwise, Hibari’s fight will be meaningless. Reborn informs Tsuna and others that Hibari has draw all the troops to himself so there are not much elsewhere. This way, they can go and attack the enemy. Reborn tells them if they want to repay Hibari, they should win their own attack. Tsuna, Hayato and Takeshi realize that Hibari knew this will happen all along and Hibari is acting cool. Giannini gives them instruction as to which route they should go to reach the enemy’s base. Reborn, who seems to be staying with Giannini in their base, asks Tsuna if he knows how strong Hibari is. Tsuna is finally says he understands and will go through the route that Giannini has told them. So, Tsuna, Hayato, Takeshi, Ryohei and Lal head off to the exit. It’s good that Tsuna’s group is prepared. I wonder when did Hibari realizes that they were attacked? Was it when they were awaken by Uri or Uri was just an excuse to talk to them one last time? He really fits his role as a cloud. Hehe, I don’t think Hibari will die, just as I think Mukurou isn’t really dead yet. Anyway, Reborn is staying behind. I guess Giannini sleeping before is like he is only pretending. The adults did have a meeting earlier before the party so they could have talked about this. So, both Vongola and Millefiore are attacking each other bases at the same time. Nice, it isn’t one-sided as I thought it would be. Time for fighting fun, hopefully, next chapter. ^-^
While doing some cleaning, Shinpachi and Kagura find an envelope of pictures behind Gin’s ‘Eat Sugar’ motto frame in Gintama [c. 195] . They see a picture of a beautiful alien-looking lady clad in a cheongsam. They hear Gin coming in so they quickly tries to hide it but in the end, Gin sees it. Kagura asks if it is a former girlfriend. Gin tells them she is a former employee who helps out in cleaning. They want to hear his story of their former sempais. Gin tells them he has 4 recruits. One is a black guy whose right hand is a missile. The other is also another [curly hair] black guy whose right hand is a missile. The other is a black woman with a bottle of wine. They were able to do their duties in catching thieves etc until black guy and wine woman got together. Gin and Curly hair decide to dispose of them into the river. There are happier times with Curly hair until Gin catches him with cheongsam lady. Gin also disposes of them into the river. They beat up Gin for doing that. Shinpachi and Kagura decide to leave as they wonder what are they doing there. Sadaharu comes out of the table and sees the pictures among the other pictures that were scattered when they beat up Gin. They were of Shinpachi, Kagura, Sadaharu, etc. Gin stands up in pain then sees Sadaharu holding a picture on his mouth. He looks at it and smiles. He puts the picture behind the motto frame and says that he hopes next year will be a good year. The picture is of Gin, Shinpachi, Kagura, and Sadaharu together. Basically, it is like after the past company, enjoy the present company and hope it will still be until the future. Ya, I’m really thinking the author is having a minor writer’s block for this is one of those lame plots. ^^;

Preview from Raws: Vampire Knight, Ouran and Penguin Revolution

The raws from BW are not out but someone posted in BW the links for the raws of Vampire Knight [c. 35]. It is from some group called Vampire Knight Group. The poster said from their translation, Kaname only wishes to be Yuuki’s brother and tells people not to freak out. ^^;; Here is what happened. Zero rushes out as the president tries to chase after him. Zero bumps into Ichiru. Ichiru is surprised by Zero’s look. After Zero left, Rido then meets with Ichiru who bows to Rido. They talk about the bottle of blood that Ichiru has. Rido destroys the bottle. I guess it is useless and Ichijou seems to be a bit worried about Kaname. Meanwhile, Yuuki wakes up and starts to freak out that Kaname is biting her. She tries to resist that Kaname has to cover her mouth to stop her from protesting. Yuuki then feels her ‘outer shell’ being destroyed. She then becomes unconscious. Kaname bites his wrist and drinks his own blood. Then he ‘kisses’ Yuuki to pass that blood to her. Then, Yuuki becomes conscious again. She freaks out that Kaname is kissing her. She then is surprised that there is blood on her mouth. Yuuki begins to see young Kaname superimposed with Kaname. She touches his face and I think Kaname asks if she remembers him. Yuuki is in tears as she holds his face. Yuuki looks above and sees really pissed off Zero, holding his gun. Kaname is pretty calm as Zero is really furious and points his gun at Kaname. I think this is the part where Yuuki said that Kaname is her ‘brother’. Zero looks shock.
Yuuki remembers her past. She lives in Kuran household and is with Kaname’s parents. Kaname comes in and she happily goes to him..just like she did when she was young. Kaname’s mother is really cute as she seems to be teasing overly serious young Kaname. They have a little chat with Kaname’s father about Yuuki and purebloods. A poster before said that it seems that Council of Ancients are after Yuuki for pureblood or something. Kaname holds Yuuki then he looks surprised because I think Yuuki told him that she has a dream of blood-red eyes looking at her. I think it is Rido and others came to the Kuran household that night. The servants are all killed. Yuuki is scared as Kaname is holding her. Kaname’s mother then comes in. She kisses Kaname in a way, you know that it is a goodbye kiss. Even Kaname is surprise. She takes Yuuki into a room as Yuuki is crying out. Kaname’s mother is holding her. Then, Kaname’s mother starts to bleed. Blood spurts out as Yuuki looks surprised. Blackout. Present: Yuuki has fallen asleep as Kaname is holding her. Zero asks something and I think this is where Kaname wishes to be Yuuki’s brother. So, I think it is not a blood-related ‘brother-sister’ nevertheless... It seems that Kuran’s family are caretakers of Yuuki but Rido and others wants her. Technically, ya, she is the indirect cause of Kaname’s parents’ death. I think Kaname’s mother sacrificed herself to seal Yuuki’s memories. Kaname's comment made me think he doesn't think of her romantically. ^^;; I’m not sure if she is already injured then. Anyway about the anime, I checked out ANN. Studio Deen will be making it. There are some character designs that are out and they look good. The school scenes look impressive ^-^ The two scenes on the left are moon dorm. The ones on the right is the classroom. The voice actors, I think are the same as the drama cd. Zero’s va is Mamoru Miyano [Tamaki of Ouran]. Yuki’s va is Yui Horie [Tohru of Fruit basket]. Kaname’s va is Daisuke Kishio [Azuma of La Corda].
Ouran High Host Club [c. 57] starts with usual host club service and their theme is middle east, I think Turkey. The twins are still doing the ‘lovers’ part. Nekozawa crashes in and starts to scare the guests and the twins. Now the fun part. Haruhi starts to blush really bad whenever Tamaki approaches her. This made her run away that Tamaki has to chase her. Kyouya and others wonder what it is about. Kyouya notes that it is making Hikaru really angry. I think Kaoru has made a game out of it that he uses a timer to count down up to how long before Hikaru snaps. In three seconds, Hikaru goes to put some money in his raccoon coin bank. Kaoru then tells Hikaru to look up something in a dictionary. Kaoru tells Kyouya and others what were they doing and it is related to Haruhi-Tamaki. Nekozawa tries to talk with Haruhi but Kaoru chases him away with a flashlight. More talk between Kaoru and others. Haruhi comes home exhausted as she wonders what’s wrong with her heart. Meiko comes to visit her. Tamaki goes to a hotel and is greeted by a secretary. I guess he is going to start learning how things are run in a hotel. Back to Haruhi, she seems to be asking advice from Meiko about her reactions to Tamaki. Meiko then gets a call from Kaoru. Meiko starts to leave and didn’t finish her dinner. Before leaving, Meiko gives her a girls magazine and suggest that Haruhi read it. I think the article says, checklist if you are in love. The next day, Haruhi comes in school sick. I think she says she caught a cold while reading a magazine. Hikaru is about to tease her that Kaoru have to nudge him to make him more ‘comforting’ to Haruhi. Tamaki greets her and freaks out that she is sick. As she interact with Tamaki, all the checklist of falling in love is becoming true. Haruhi cannot take it anymore that she runs away from Tamaki. Hikaru isn’t really happy about that. I think it said that Haruhi cannot believe that she is in love as she is in tears. Tamaki want to dress up as his teddy to make Haruhi come to him again. Hikaru is shaking in anger as Kaoru seems to ask if he wants to make the timer longer than 3 minutes. Hehe
Penguin Revolution [c. 35] is indeed the last one. Sorry, in the last chapter, it turned out to be Ryou’s first performance, not Youko’s. ^^; Everyone is talking about it on the second day. The president tells Youko that Ryou did well. On the second night, it is Youko’s turn. On the beach, Ryou and Yukari talks about Youko’s performance. Then, they announced who won between the two. It is Youko. During the performance, Youko became ill as Yukari sees her wings begins to vanish. Good thing that Ayaori manages to catch her just as she falls that the audience didn’t notice anything wrong. Ryou notices that Youko is really tense. It is then that the president probably tells Ryou of the situation. While holding Youko’s hand, little girl whom Ryou is talking with appears to him. I suddenly thought of La Corda like it is a fairy who used to be in Youko now goes to Ryou like passing of talent. ^^;;; Ryou then finishes the performance. Ten years later, Yukari becomes a public servant. I think she is saying that the play is like about reaching for one’s dreams. Narazaki still stalks/attacks her. Yukari says that she has told the others that she is really a girl. She has find her father and gives him a punch in the face. I think Youko’s operation went well. Yukari feels everything that has happened was like a dream. The last scene is Ryou and Ayaori meet with her again. And it is now time for a new dream. Ah, open-ended ending? ^^;;

Sakura’s editor, Koyama tells her on the phone that her manuscript cannot be used. Sakura asks does she meant the whole or maybe just change a part of it. Koyama says that everything is wrong as the lines aren’t moving enough, the lead male isn’t cool enough, etc. Sakura tries to bargain that she’ll just change it a bit. Koyama tells her that they need fresh material and if it isn’t fresh, why bother drawing it. Koyama says she knows of Sakura’s talent in drawing and creating characters that are different but if it won’t matter if one doesn’t feel good after reading it. She compares it to cooking ordinary potato into a different delicious dish. Sakura finally agrees to re-do her work. Koyama suggests that she reads fan mails so that she would be inspired. Sakura opens the package that Koyama has sent which has fan mails. She reads some and becomes quite cheerful until she reaches a letter with no return address, stamp, etc. She gloomily opens it and it turns out to be a hate mail.
During dinner, Edaiki is surprised that she gets hate mail. Sakura says she gets them occasionally and reading them makes her depressed. In her line of work, she doesn’t really know who likes her work so she is really happy to get fan mails. She is sad when people she doesn’t know writes that they hate her. Edaiki says that nothing can be done about it in that line of work. Sakura complains that she doesn’t like people she doesn’t know to hate her. Edaiki says since she doesn’t know them, she shouldn’t be bother by them. Edaiki tells her not to be bothered by such nonsense letters and those who are bothered by it are stupid. Sakura is shock and becomes depressed because she is hit by three punches in a single day – re-do manuscript, hate mail and called stupid by her boyfriend. Edaiki noticing her looking sad apologizes. Sakura admits that she only wants him to comfort her. To her surprise, Edaiki pulls her head to him and did comfort her. This made Sakura blush. Back at home, Sakura tries to start writing again. She begins to wonder if he treats Natsuko [Edaiki’s ex-gf] that nice, too. She reprimands herself for getting jealous over a deceased person. She then becomes inspired by what Edaiki did so she begins to base her male character on him as a high school student. Sakura is in the mood as the ideas freely come to her.
After shopping, Misono calls up Sakura to eat lunch but learns that Sakura is busy. She just tells Sakura that they eat hot pot for dinner with the others. Misono finds herself standing in front of a bookstore. She peeks inside to see her liar boyfriend, Takashi working as a cashier. To Misono’s surprise, Takashi turns around and sees her. Misono tries to make a run for it but Takashi catches up with her. Misono tells him to go back since he is working. Takashi asks if she came to see him. Misono says she just happen to be there so she decided to come and see a little bit. Takashi thanks her and that he is really happy. Takashi says it is because she doesn’t answer his calls and text messages that he thought she doesn’t want to see him anymore. Misono says he seems happy at work. Takashi says he is because he likes books and that Misono’s work is selling well. He then apologizes for lying to her. Misono says that is in the past but they can’t be together. He asks why. Misono says she is high maintenance because the things she likes are expensive. She begins to narrate the things she want like how much gifts should cost, the hotels she wants to stay during trips, etc. Upon seeing Takashi’s surprised look, Misono turns away and says, see, they can’t be together. Takashi holds her back and says that he will think of a way about that and he will do his best. Seeing that he is sincere, Misono agrees to give him another chance.
That night, Misono and Sakura had hot pot with their two other friends, 24 year old Mai and 28 year old Sakeki. The other two already have boyfriends and they occasionally eat together when they are free. I think they talked about a tv show that shows the life of a mangaka. Some other night, Sakura is with Edaiki. She tells him about what she talked with the other women. Edaiki laughs about it and says that the way Sakura says it is really interesting. Sakura is happy about that and says she will make it more interesting next time. Edaiki says he can’t wait. Edaiki asks if it is okay for them to eat out with Risa [Edaiki’s sister] and other. Sakura asks if it is her boyfriend. Edaiki says he isn’t a boyfriend but just a male friend - the guy used to be Risa’s sempai in college. He is a bit worried so he asked Risa to introduce them. Sakura laughs and asks what is he worried about. Edaiki says it is because the difference is 10 years and Risa is still a child. In Lapin restaurant, Risa is already sitting on the table and calls out to them. Edaiki asks where is her friend, did he run away. Risa says he didn’t, he just went to the comfort room. She then calls out to someone. Sakura perks up and thought that the surname is the same as her ex-boyfriend. The guy then introduces himself as Akira. Akira is then shock to see Sakura just as Sakura is shock to see him. It is indeed her ex-boyfriend.
Hehe, the last part is really funny. Ya, this is really like a Japanese drama. It turned from love triangle with a deceased gf to a love polygon that now includes the ex-boyfriend. Things are getting spiced up. ^-^ Sakura has good tastes in terms of good looking men =P Well, in this chapter, it seems that she is falling for Edaiki. I’m not so sure about Edaiki’s feelings for her as from the last chapter, Natsuko is still in his mind. Misono’s love story is becoming like a rich girl and not so rich guy. She has stated that she wants someone who can pamper her with her expensive taste for things. I do wonder if Takashi will be able to do it.

[Haha, I changed the blog pic momentarily for the holiday season. Jo made me do it. =P Hehe Well, aside from that, I was suppose to use this for the 25th entry but since it is the same color as my layout so why not. ^-^]
Kyouko is reading her script and she looks shock. She thought that it is really boring and that there is nothing fun to do about it. Boring is something that she would never say or even thought of from the time she was born up to the time she is 16 years + a few months old. She says that there are many difficult lines. According to the plot, Konatsu-hime [she is adding hime = princess so that she will like the role] is born from a middle-class family, have kind parents, is a talented child who can do anything successful with only just a bit of effort, is a leader, and people then to revolve around her. Kyouko gloomily wonders why Konatsu-hime isn’t satisfied. She doesn’t understand the character’s feelings. Her character hates her ‘normal’ life that she vents this on the lead role/actress. Kyouko caught herself hating Konatsu. She tries to calm herself by reminding herself that to be a true actress, she must like Konatsu-hime. Sparkling, she says isn’t that right, papa!! She imagines looking up the window and sees Kura giving her a thumbs-up. Then, she gloomily thought who cares..no matter how she tried, Konatsu-hime doesn’t make her feel happy so how can she be happy acting out Konatsu-hime. She closes the imaginary window and tells Kura not to look at her at the moment for she still can’t find any good thing about the role. She sighs and wonders what kind of feeling should she do when delivering these lines - Konatsu-hime doesn’t lack anything yet inside she is unsatisfied.
While she is still walking, she hears someone shout, that’s enough, it is so boring, there is nothing fun to do about it. She knows that voice so she looks inside to check it out. She sees Maria talking with a new staff member in the cafeteria. Maria is complaining about Japanese celebrating Christmas. There is nothing fun about children going to Japanese homes asking for candies. There should be a limit in doing a foreign country’s tradition. She tries to get the poor staff member to agree but with all Maria’s shouting, he timidly agree. Maria angrily says that Japan isn’t a Christian country so why should they celebrate Christmas. Do Christians celebrate Buddhist holidays? They don’t, right? She feels that the two are like water and oil. Maria feels a small hand patting her head. She turns around and sees smiling Ren doll greeting her. Maria perks up and calls him Ren-sama. Chibi Ren asks if her mood is foul today. I thinks smiling Maria is more cute. Maria blushes and says, really. Chibi Ren taps her nose and says come and give me a smile like you normally do. Maria smiles and blushes as she says Ren-sama, since you touched me, how about a lips to lips. Maria tries to kiss chibi Ren when Kanae is looking at them asking what is that, are you guys stupid, what kind of game is that? The staff member quickly retreats.
Kanae freaks out that the chibi Ren doll’s smiling face can be removed and it reveals pouting Ren inside. Kanae shouts why is Kyouko making such a doll, does she want to become a doll maker. Kyouko sheepishly smiles and says she isn’t. She has already started doing it and because of her perfectionist nature, she wants to finish it. To Kyouko’s surprise, Maria tells her that she wants that Ren-sama doll. Kyouko apologizes and tells Maria that regretfully, this doll is something that she won’t give to anyone. Maria looks very gloomy and depressed over that. Kyouko tries to cheer Maria up by asking if she is also going to have a party. She says that with the president hosting it, it should be quite lively and grand that everyone will be anticipating it. Maria asks what kind of party. Kyouko says it will be December 24 soon. Maria tells her that she has decided before not to celebrate December 24, in her house because she isn’t a Christian. Kyouko says is that so. She thought that she isn’t a Christian, too and Maria seems to be a strange child for she really anticipate Christmas when she was a kid. Kyouko changes the topic and tells Maria isn’t December 24, Maria’s birthday. To Kyouko’s shock, Maria tells her that she has decided not to celebrate her birthday because it is her mother’s death anniversary. Kyouko freaks out for saying something that shouldn’t be said. Maria says that if she celebrates her birthday, surely something bad will happen again.
Maria looks gloomy as Kyouko remembers that Maria’s mother died in a plane crash because she is going to Japan for Maria’s birthday. It is the first time Maria have a wish of wanting to be with her mother on her birthday and that happened. Kyouko thought that Maria must have hated her birthday. She wonders what other reason can she use aside from Christmas and Maria’s birthday. She then thought of something. She asks Maria to come near her for she has thought of some other activity that she can do. Kyouko whispers to Maria’s ear as Kanae tries to listen in. Maria looks surprised. Kanae asks what is that..what kind of troublesome thing has Kyouko thought of, tell her clearly about it, even though she will not help out. Kyouko says of course since this is her idea, she will host it and do it. Kyouko laughs and says even if she boastfully want to do something grand but it will be quite tiresome if she do it all alone so would Maria help her out. Kanae asks what can a seven year old child do. Maria is surprised and asks what can she do. Kyouko tells Maria to write the invitation cards. She will write, “Come to a party that I’m hosting on December 24”. Because Maria feels that “Today is the day that I want you to be by my side so that I will be very happy.” And to say, “Thank you” to the people who are important to me.
Kyouko happily says and then, they will have lots of food, cakes and snacks that will surprise them for they look so dreamy. They will prepare for all of the guests and everyone will have a great time. Maria is sparkling as she imagines what Kyouko just said. Kyouko asks does Maria hate this kind of party. Maria smiles and shook her head. Kyouko shouts that’s great and since it is already decided, they should quickly start and Maria should write the invitations. While Maria is talking to herself as to whom she will invite, Kyouko tells Kanae that she will be inviting her to come because Kanae is free since Kanae doesn’t have work until the 26th. Kanae thought that it is irritating that she is still a small time actress that there is not much work for her yet. Kanae says it is troublesome. Kanae then senses that Kyouko is making her miserable-about-to-cry reaction behind her back. Kanae remembers Kyouko telling Maria that it is a party asking people to come since it will make her happy and say thank you to the people important to her. In the end, Kanae relents and says that she knows already, she will go. Kyouko cheers up. Kanae is about to leave for home when Maria asks what would be the name of the party. Kyouko suggests that since it is a ‘thank you’ party, why don’t they call it, ‘No matter who [will be] 3Q party’ Kanae freaks out that it is very vulgar. [3Q is Short Hand for "Thank you". In Mandarin/Japanese 3 is pronounced "san". Putting "san" + "Q" makes it sound like "Thank you"] Kanae angrily shouts that Kyouko change it to a proper name or else she won’t be attending it.
In Ren’s dressing room, Ren is reading a magazine. He looks surprised over an article about Queen•Rosa which is finally being born. The picture is of a rose. Ren thought..Queen..Rosa.. After thinking a bit, he starts to smile. Yashiro knocks and enters the room. He tells Ren that the staff has told him he can go to the filming place. Yashiro is surprised that Ren is returning the magazine back to the table. Yashiro says he is surprised to see Ren actually reading magazines in the dressing room. It is a rare sight. Ren says really, he does occasionally read them. Yashiro says maybe it is because he doesn’t often get to see it. Ren says that could be it. Yashiro asks what kind of interesting article could Ren be reading since up to now, he doesn’t know what kind of things Ren find interesting. Ren smiles and says, I was able to get [from that article] a piece of good/lucky news.
The title of this chapter is Lucky Number 24. It is lucky for Maria to finally being able to celebrate her birthday thanks to Kyouko who brilliantly able to suggest to have a ‘thank you’ party instead. The essence is the same though. I do wonder if there is some unconscious motive as to why Kyouko doesn’t want to give her Ren doll to Maria. What I mean is Kyouko likes Ren and doesn’t want to give him to someone else is what Kyouko actually meant subconsciously. About all the food that they will be making, I’m sure it will be really easy for Kyouko and she seems to be more excited about it than Maria. =P The other lucky is Ren. I’m wondering about the rose in two ways. First, it could be something related to his mother who finally manages to create that breed. I’m thinking along the lines that his mother is a rose breeder or something else, why would he be interested in roses. Second, it could be something he learned before as rare and he wants to give it to someone. This arc will be more on ‘growing as a person’ and social interaction so I’m really hoping for something fun that will happen in the party. I mean romantically between Kyouko and Ren. It does seem that the author is alternating work and romance arcs. About Maria’s complaint about not celebrating Christmas. It is nothing new to me because the author used that in her past series, ‘Tokyo Crazy Paradise’. Ryuji doesn’t know about Christmas because his father doesn’t like Western customs and is strictly Japanese. While talking about it with Tsukasa, Ryuji became gloomy because it brought up his father’s death so Tsukasa decided to bring him out and know what Christmas is all about. Lastly, about Kyouko’s role as Konatsu. I think she is missing something other than material needs that is why she is a bully. If this is a Christian story, she obviously need Jesus and along that lines. Since this is a shoujo, I’m guessing it is about love. Amusingly, while reading Kyouko’s description of Konatsu, Ren comes up to mind. Wasn’t Ren like Konatsu? He is well-off, have nice parents, can do anything with little effort, has charisma, etc so why does he end up beating up people from that flashback? Obviously, something is missing in his life. I’m thinking how Kyouko will deal with her role is going to be tied up to Ren’s past.
Next chapter preview from raws: Kyouko invites Ren to the party. A flashback on Santa Lory crashing in on Kyouko and Maria. Probably about the party but he is surprised to hear about the thank you party. It seems that somehow Lory got himself involved. I think Ren agreed to go that Kyouko is smiling brightly about it. I think she also plans to invite Ogata. Kanae gets her invitation then pass by a poster advertising ‘princess’ gifts. She tries to convince herself not to buy such things but the image of Kyouko happily thanking her for something she gave has overwhelmed her. Hehe. Kyouko hurries out of the studio and is surprised to be waited by a dark-skinned guy who is standing a classic-type car. To her shock, he seems to be a chauffeur for Lory who is going to drive her to Lory’s estate. She feels like Clara of Heidi, I think..like a young mistress. Maria greets her and they start doing the preparations. The chauffeur and Lory talk with each other as they watch Kyouko and Maria. The author then goes on a one month break.

Just saw a bit of teaser from BW. I was like “No Way!” o_O;; The poster in the forum said that Yuuki is Kaname’s sister! He bites her so that he can let her drink her own blood to awaken herself. Drinking it would make her remember her memories. So much for Zero's hating Kaname if he made Yuuki a vampire. Mm, does this mean Zero has a chance with Yuuki? But then, Zero is a vampire hunter..what would he do if he is ordered to kill her? Maybe that is why Kaname kept on saying that Zero can't betray Yuuki. Only two small scans are uploaded. The first one is a narration which I think says that she is born in the household of Kuran. The second one is..are you ready for this?..finally, a kiss! A kiss between Yuuki and Kaname. Can't wait to read this ^-^ Edit: another poster said it isn't a kiss but just giving/sucking blood.
Hehe..did any of you guys guessed that? Okay, is the author going for incest? Maybe they intermarry to keep the pure blood within the family. I recall nobility/royal families used to do that before. I'll talk about this chapter when it is up..when I'm sure of things. ^^; I will still do the previews if the raws for the chapter is up. ^-^ I'm expecting it on Saturday but some people just get their magazines earlier. ^^;;
