About this blog:
I usually write about the manga that I'm currently reading. At times, I write about the anime/tv shows I watched and the PS2 games I played. Since it is hard to share and talk my thoughts about a certain manga series when people don't know about it, I tend to summarize them from Chinese scanlations so beware, this blog is filled with spoilers and they are not 100% perfect. Feel free to point out my mistakes. Occasionally, I would blog about myself and other misc. things.

If Sakura Himeko and Oozora Ren’s relationship is like a board game, it will be like they are already in the last step/box before the ‘end’/goal. That is what Himeko’s four ‘servants’/fanboys think. It is already very easy for them to get together if only Himeko just be honest with herself. “So, for Himeko, we, her servants will help them!” At the water amusement park, Himeko has already dressed up in her bikini. She is pouting as she thinks that this is the first time she has gone out on a date with someone. Ren comes out and comments that Himeko dressed up really quick. Himeko blushes when she sees him. “Where are your glasses?!” she exclaims. Ren says that it is a hindrance so he removed it. It turns out that he can see fine without them. Himeko just says is that so. Looking away from him, she thinks if it is because he doesn’t look the way he normally does that is why her heart is beating so fast. “Or perhaps, being in a date makes one quite excited?!” Himeko then notices Ren looking glum that she wonders what he is thinking about. Ren has noticed the guys behind Himeko who are looking at her because she looks cute and sexy in her bikini. Ren immediately puts his coat on her. Himeko asks why he did that when she isn’t cold. Blushing a bit, Ren admits that when other guys look at her, it infuriates him. This made Himeko blush. Ren then holds her hand as they walk around the place. Himeko wonders if Ren likes her and it isn’t a one-sided love. “I want to know his feelings. I want to know. If I can ask him today, then I can be honest..Can I be honest?”
In the swimming pool, while holding a heart-shaped lifesaver, Himeko thinks that she cannot just casually asks about someone else’s feelings. Seeing a lovey-dovey couple, she thinks about trying to get near like that with Ren. She blushes when she sees Ren. She quickly moves away from him while thinking that she can’t do it. Seeing this, the fanboys have decided to help. One of the fanboy bumps hard into Himeko causing her to get close to Ren. Ren asks her what the matter is. Himeko quickly says that it’s nothing as she backs away. She collides with the fanboy. They ended up unconscious as they float on the water. ^^; At a table, Ren asks Himeko if she is alright. Himeko exclaims that it is no big deal. Ren suggests that they have fun by going to some ‘haunted house’ there. Upon hearing this, the fanboys decide to go into action since there is a high probability of ‘lovey-dovey’ moments in that place. Another fanboy volunteers to act as a monster. While walking inside a passage in a cavern-like place, Ren asks if Himeko isn’t afraid of these kinds of things. Himeko says of course, she isn’t afraid of anything. Himeko thinks if during this time, she should pretend to be afraid so that she can try to get close to Ren. “But then, this is something that I, Himeko Sakura, cannot do.” Just then, a scary looking monster comes out and it scared Sakura. The other three fanboys are wondering if the other fanboy has succeeded. They only saw the scene of Himeko giving the poor ‘monster’ fanboy an uppercut punch. Back at the table, Ren asks if she is okay. Himeko says she is. She gloomily thinks that everything is turning out embarrassing.
The fanboys look at them from the bushes. One of them asks if they are actually hindering the two. Black-haired fanboy says that this time, they are going to help. He loudly exclaims about a rumor that if one rides the slide there with the person you like, it will help improve the progress of their relationship. Himeko overheard that and so, Ren and Himeko ride it. Unfortunately, Himeko thinks that Ren is too close to her that she ends up nosebleeding. ^^; Back at the table, Himeko gloomily puts her head on the table. Ren tells her that he is going to buy something to drink. Himeko couldn’t believe that she had a nosebleed. “If it’s like this, then there is no way I can ask about his feelings. Even if this is a rare first date, even if I’m perfect queen Sakura Himeko, but everything turned out quite embarrassing. It is possible that he already hates me now.” The fanboys are sad that they had made Himeko quite depressed. They are surprised when Ren, who is standing behind them, asks what they are doing. They ask him when he realized. Ren said that he knew since the start but he just acted that he didn’t know. They apologize to him for they didn’t intent to hinder them for they are just trying to become ‘matchmakers’. Ren looks thoughtful. Ren goes back to Himeko and tells her that he has bought some juice. Since she didn’t rise up her head, he asks her if she is feeling uncomfortable. Himeko tells him that she isn’t but rather, she looks unsightly right now so she doesn’t want him to see her, looking strange like that. She thinks that she wants to maintain her perfection in front of Ren. Ren tells her to rise up her head but Himeko doesn’t want to. Since Ren kept on insisting, Himeko looks up to him then shouts that she doesn’t want to. To her surprise, Ren gives her a kiss on the lips and says, “I like you, Himeko.”
Himeko exclaims what is he saying and how could he just say those words in that place. “Are you an idiot?! How can I believe that! It’s impossible, because today, I’m specially--” She thinks that she isn’t the same as usual since she did a lot of embarrassing things that day, detestable that it’s not strange [for him to hate her]... Before she can finish that thought, Ren says, “It’s because I’m very happy today so I wanted to say it. You’re so cute that you wholeheartedly think of me. Whether you are perfect or not perfect, all of you are cute which I like.” This made Himeko blush. Himeko thinks, “I’m Sakura Himeko, a perfect queen, but in front of Oozora Ren, I wasn’t able to maintain my perfection. I already like him so much. Is it okay even if I’m not perfect?” Himeko stutters as she says, “I..I also..I also do not hate you. So..about that, with you..going steady with you..I can also go steady with you!” To Himeko and the fanboys’ shock, Ren says, “No, there is no need for that.” Ren continues, “I like you and I would want to go steady with you. But last time, you said that you don’t like me, right?” Peep-peep: Ren’s sadist thermometer is rising. Himeko is shock. “For me, before going steady, I would like the other party to clearly say that she likes me, too.” Peep-peep: it’s now in the middle level. Himeko thinks, “This guy..” At the peak level of sadist, Ren says, “So, I’ll wait for you to say you like me then I’ll confess again, okay?” Himeko is furious since Ren already knows of her feelings. “This guy is really infuriating!” Himeko points at him and angrily shouts, “Okay, if that is what you want then I’ll make you cry and say, ‘Please go steady with me’ while you are kneeling down to [or worshipping] me!” Himeko angrily left. Blushing a bit, Ren says to himself, “She’s fairly angry but then, that can’t be helped. I also wanted to hear you say that you like me. Even if I’ll be spending a lot of time, I’ll also definitely make you say it.” Fanboys groan and fall on the floor as they wonder what they were doing. “It all seems meaningless.” And so, the two are still stuck in that one step before the goal.
“Hello, everyone, we are the ‘servants’. A few days after Sakura Himeko and Ren Oozora’s date, we can say that the two’s relationship has become really bad though that could be said about Himeko’s mood.” At school, Himeko is in a foul mood over Ren’s request for her to confess to him when he already knows of her feelings for him. Ren is just napping on his seat. The fanboys go to him to tell him why he would ask Himeko to take the initiative to confess to him when Ren already know of her feelings for him. Ren says, “There are some things [in life] wherein even if you already know, you still want to ask [to know].” They think that Ren is quite cute for thinking that way until Ren adds, “And the more she doesn’t want to say it, the more that I would want to make her say it.” The fanboys gloomily think, “It’s over, he is such a super S.” Himeko goes to the roof of the school, probably to cool off. She is still angry at herself for being troubled by matters regarding Ren. She is surprised to see Ren sleeping at the rooftop after eating his lunch. She realizes that Ren sleeps there during lunch so she hasn’t seen him around during those times. She is a bit agitated that he is sleeping quite leisurely while she has been suffering – thinking of a way to win. She thinks, “The truth is this guy is really infuriating for making me, Sakura Himeko, confess. Normally, in this kind of situation, that is impossible! But, I still like him to the point of hating myself. No matter how angry he makes me, I still like him. But, to confess, is something that my pride won’t allow.” She sits beside him.
Then, she finds herself being awaken up by Ren. She is surprised that she has fallen asleep and even more surprised that it is already night. After calming down a bit, Himeko exclaims how could this happen and what time is it. Ren says he doesn’t know and it seems that the two of them have fallen asleep and were locked outside. Himeko realizes this as she tried to open the door. It is locked. She asks if he has a cellphone. Ren tells her that he forgot his today. Himeko left hers in the classroom. Ren says that there is nothing they can do but wait until morning. Himeko is aghast as she thinks that this is like a date which will last until morning. The two sit together. After some time not talking to each other, Himeko says that this is really disastrous. Ren says that it is indeed disastrous but then, since she is there with him, it isn’t so disastrous. Himeko blushes as Ren looks at her. Himeko calls him an idiot. Ren just asks if it is so. He leans over and touches her hair. Himeko thinks that she also knows that it isn’t so disastrous. Just when they are about to kiss, it suddenly rains. They are now dripping wet. Himeko thinks that even if the rain has stopped, it is awful that now they are cold. She is surprised to see Ren taking off his shirt. Himeko exclaims why he is stripping. She blushes as she thinks if this is part of the date wherein they take their clothes off and huddle together in order to warm themselves up. She closes her eyes as Ren just looks at her. To her surprise, Ren just squeezed the excess water from his shirt then, he wore it again. She exclaims if he is wearing it again. Ren asks why he won’t wear it. Embarrassed, Himeko exclaims it’s nothing. She thinks that there are no such situations happening in dates. Ren approaches her and asks if she just thought of that ‘stripping off clothes then hugging to warm themselves’ date scene. Himeko quickly tries to deny it but Ren hugs her. He says, “Although this isn’t a date, but like this, we can warm ourselves a bit.”
This made Himeko blush as she hugs him back. She says, “Let me tell you clearly first that this is just because I’m cold so there is no other choice.” Ren blushes then smiles. He says, “That’s right, it’s because it is cold.” The two hug each other while sitting down near the door. Himeko thinks, “How long has it been? Even if it is really cold, but I felt that my body is becoming warmer and warmer. Just now, I feel that my heart is beating very fast.” Himeko then becomes surprised. She asks Ren why she can also hear the heartbeat loudly in Ren’s body. Ren looks at her and says, “Why are you asking this? You should know why because right now, I’m with the girl I like.” This surprises Himeko as Ren slightly blushes. Himeko thinks that she didn’t expect him to be like that and that she could make his heart beat fast like that. “Before, I think that my pride won’t allow me confessing to Ren. But, I don’t know why, but now, I can confess and I also want to confess. But no matter how I think, but I don’t know how to say it properly.” It starts raining again. Ren stands up and says that they can’t stay there until morning so they should go down. Himeko asks how he plans to do that. Ren goes over the railing and says that way. Ren says that he is going to jump down and break the window below so that he can get inside. Himeko exclaims what if he falls down. She tries to grab him and says that it is dangerous. This made Ren fall over. Himeko is totally shock but Ren manages to hold on to the edge. Himeko asks if he is alright and if he can climb back up. “Wait there, I’ll go help you!” Ren says that there is no need to, else she’ll also fall down.
Sakura exclaims, “I’m Sakura Himeko so I won’t fall down!” Ren laughs and says that there are trees below so he won’t die and at most, he’ll just have some injuries. “And, I did jump down from the third floor before.” Himeko shouts what he is laughing about. “..You..want me to confess to you, right? If you get even one wound, I would never confess to you in my lifetime.” This made Ren look sad and says, “Really, that’s quite regrettable.” Himeko is shock when Ren let go of his hand. To her surprise, Ren just easily climbs up the ledge. Ren tells her that for someone like him, it’s easy for him to climb up. Himeko shouts if he just tricked her. Ren says that he never said that he can’t climb up. He goes to her and says, “Come, fulfill what you said earlier, right now, I came back without a single wound.” Himeko quickly gives him a headbutt on his chin. She exclaims what he means by no single wound. She looks away and says that he made her really angry for she was really worried about him. Himeko is already crying. Ren hugs her and apologizes since his teasing has been too extreme. “Sorry, I didn’t expect you to cry.” While crying, Himeko tells him that even if he apologizes, she won’t forgive him nor she’ll confess to him. Ren tells her that is a bit too severe. Himeko says, “Of course.” Ren says, “..then, even if it’s a nod, it’s okay. Can you please tell me, do you.. like me?” Himeko blushes as she thinks, “Asking me this kind of question, is there even a need to answer? I like you.” Himeko nods her head.
Hehe, that’s kind of mean of Ren in chapter 7 but then, I think aside from wanting Himeko to say it, he also thinks it’s fun given his sadistic nature. =P I also think that making her say it, it is like Ren is making her choose between him and her pride. His dare is like, can you give up your pride for me who has already admitted that I like you. It’s also nice that he confess at that time because he is like telling her that even if she isn’t that perfect, he still likes her. I also applaud the fanboys for what they are trying to do even if they ended up failing miserably at their intended purpose of doing all those things. I can empathize with them. I also feel like ‘groaning’ and reacting that way when authors will sudden make a twist which will make the couple who like each other not end up together or it’s once again delayed. Hehe, doesn’t that mean authors are also sadists? =P Regarding the other chapter, I think it is quite sweet since it is like a compromise between the two else this story would have dragged a long time. =P Hehe, it’s somewhat amusing that the kisses already happened before the actual confession. Boku wa Kiss de Uso wo Tsuku [Chapter 6]

“I’m the one who kissed you, so..say it again that you like me,” Shinobu asks Meiko as he leans near her at the bookcase. Shinobu is a bit surprised when Meiko makes a surprised-embarrassed face. While looking down, she asks him why he lied to her before about kissing her. Shinobu looks away and timidly says that he never said that he didn’t kiss her. “I only said, ‘Why would I kiss you?’ And..” Meiko is shock by that response as she asks what does that mean. “But, even if it’s like that..” Shinobu replies, “--Because I want you to truly like me. I want you to notice me and not the person who kissed you..” Shinobu moves closer to her and asks, “I want to kiss you, can I?” Meiko consents. She thinks that even if it seems like their first kiss but in reality, it is their second kiss. After the kiss, Meiko blushes as she says that it is indeed Shinobu who has kissed her before. They hear some fireworks so the two look out the window and watch it. Meiko glances at Shinobu and thinks that she is really happy. She thinks that they are standing so near to each other that their shoulders touch and his body heat is transferred to her. “Why am I talking about shoulders, we have already kissed. Kissed. We have kissed each other. And I..” She then remembers holding up Shinobu’s face to tell him earlier that she likes him. Shinobu then notices Meiko walking away from him. Shinobu tells her that she is quite far. Meiko is surprised as she denies it. He leans near her and tells her that she hasn’t said that she likes him one more time. With a wave of a hand, Meiko says, “I like you.” Then, with a salute, she says, “Goodbye!” Then, she quickly goes out and left. This somewhat stuns Shinobu then he wonders what is that all about.
Flashback with Shinobu narrating: “On the day of the high school entrance exam, at that time, I had helped this girl by accompanying her but she didn’t remember me.” Meiko just passed by Shinobu at the hallway. “I watched her smoothly get into school.” There is a scene of opening ceremony. “After some time, I notice that I’m always looking at her.” It is raining and Shinobu is looking at her as she leaves the school. “I know that she always go to the library so I thought of a way to work as a library staff. Since she lends a lot of books, I already have a way to talk to her. But, she still doesn’t remember me. It doesn’t seem appropriate for me to say it but it seems that she isn’t interested in me who has been attracted by her. Always submerge into books. Bending her head slightly while staring at the book.” He has been watching her intently until his feelings become quite intense as he waits until the time when she finally recognizes him. “I have already greet/talked with her and her reaction is very interesting. If I tease her a bit, it will become more interesting. Her eyes are looking at me. Thinking of that, I cannot stop myself. Finally, one day..seeing that she is sleeping, I went ahead and kissed her.” After the kiss, Shinobu quickly hid behind the bookshelves. “Although I’m the one who did the deed, I felt quite uneasy. I feel that I’m very despicable. I couldn’t believe that I would even kiss a girl who is sleeping. She would most probably try to look for the culprit. I will definitely lie. Good thing that there are other possible suspects. This is alright even if it started with a kiss but I wanted to depend on myself to attract her attention. Although it’s barely going smoothly, I still want to think of a way to give her a deep lasting impression. The one who left that note in her shoe locker is also me.” Shinobu put the note into the shoe locker then he is surprised with Meiko when she read the card. “But things didn’t turn out the way I planned. There is someone who is hindering me. It seems to her that the culprit (me) is teasing her but the truth is it’s ‘us’ who made her confused and disoriented. But, maintaining a smiling face, I show a proper expression. I’m an expert at this. Haha, it’s very interesting.” End flashback
“--No, it’s not interesting. Why are those two talking to each other.” In school, Shinobu finds Meiko talking with Kyoichiro. Shinobu pouts and calls out Meiko’s name. Meiko blushes when she sees him. She quickly hides behind Kyoichiro and greets him twice since the first greeting sounds different because she is very embarrassed. With a smile, Shinobu asks her, “Aren’t you making a mistake? [going to the wrong person] Why are you hiding at that side? Let’s eat lunch together.” Meiko shouts, “No!” Ouch, this stabs into Shinobu. Shinobu asks why. Meiko tells him that she likes him so she has become quite nervous. “There is no way I can eat together with you.” Shinobu blushes and thinks, “How cute. I understand. Very cute. She’s really cute. But..” Kyouichiro is smirking and smiling with satisfaction at Shinobu. Shinobu thinks, “That guy must be feeling really happy about this situation, seeing me impatient and in a pinch like this..no, he already holds an advantage that is why he is looking down on me. Ah, damn, I never thought that I would be teased like this.” Kyouichiro then tells Meiko that she is a good girl and it will be alright. “Let us all eat lunch together and I will give some suggestion to you guys.” Kyoichiro starts pushing Meiko away from Shinobu. Shinobu tells them to wait. Meiko looks at Shinobu then looks away from him. She then walks away with Kyoichiroh. With a ‘eh?!’ look, Shinobu thinks, “Isn’t this too cruel? Aren’t our feelings mutual?” At the roof, Meiko is poking at the food in her bento box. Meiko is thinking that even if she is nervous like that with Shinobu, she shouldn’t act that way as if she hates him. Eating a sandwich, Kyoichiro asks Meiko if there is a fossil in her bento since she is digging into it with her chopsticks. Kyoichiro says, “You came without objection. You left without objection. Right now, you left so you will also be chased. But if you run off very far, this isn’t permitted.” Meiko realizes what she has done then looks at Kyoichiro. He tells her that it is useless even if she looks at him like that. Meiko rushes off and exclaims that she is going to apologize. She heads back down and runs until she finds Shinobu. Before she can apologize, Shinobu tells her that they go on a date after school dismissal.
After school, the two are walking at a crowded street. Meiko looks up and sees that Shinobu is ahead. She thinks that he is walking quite fast because he is still angry over what happened in the afternoon. While Meiko tries to catch up with Shinobu, Shinobu glances at her then thinks, “I’m really quite spiteful. Compare to me, she is more shock by what happened during lunch. If we get separated, what will she do? Will she call out? She might not. When she realizes it, we have already separated. Then, what will she do?” Shinobu hides himself from Meiko among the people. Meiko then notices that he is gone. Shinobu is surprised when Meiko looks as if she is going to cry. He then tries to call out to her and go to her. He thinks, “That face makes one want to hug her and apologize. What is the meaning of this? But, I definitely cannot apologize. Just like that kiss before-- I want her to look for me. I want her to chase after me. I want her to find me then fall for me. I will make these feelings as an indulgence [ask for forgiveness] then once again do some despicable things.” Meiko is looking around for Shinobu. She wonders what she should do since they really got separated. She then remembers to use her cellphone to call him. Holding her cellphone, she begins to hesitate because Shinobu might be hating her or perhaps he hates her that is why he left her. She thinks that maybe Shinobu is still nearby. A man bumps into her hard that she loses her balance and falls on the floor. Some people are commenting/laughing about it while they look at her. Meiko is embarrassed. To her surprise, Shinobu pulls her up from behind – like a back hug. Shinobu says that he didn’t thought that she’ll fall down and this is contrary to what he has planned. Meiko blushes. She apologizes and asks what he meant by ‘contrary to the plan’. Shinobu looks at her wounded knees then looks up to her. He says, “I’m saying that if you fall for an annoying person [like me], you might regret this.” Meiko is puzzled. She then holds both of his hands and says, “I’m also not sure but..I’m the one who likes a person like you so I’m responsible for myself.” She smiles at him as she holds his hands to her face. Shinobu then pulls her down to him and gives her a kiss on the lips. He thinks, “I can promise that compared to the many times that I have teased you, compared to the many times I have lied to you, I will love you dearly a hundred times more.” Everyone is looking at them. Embarrassed Meiko tells him that she would want to leave that place quickly. Holding her face, Shinobu says that he doesn’t want to because he hasn’t gotten enough of her. Blushing, Meiko asks what he meant by that and if he is teasing her.
Hehe, the author has gone all out with the romance in this chapter. This is quite a cute and sweet chapter ^^ I think since this is like a detective story, this part would be the culprit’s confession as to why he did what he did. In the end, even if he thinks that everything has gone according to plan, things do not. Hehe, he ended up the one chasing after her. From his narration, it does seem like he is some sadist stalker ^^; He is really infatuated by her. I guess that part when Meiko is hiding behind Kyouichiro is a good punishment for him. =P His reactions are quite amusing. Too bad his ‘confession’ is only in his thoughts. Hanabi calls out to Atsumi who is eating her second serving of salad. Hanabi says that she has something to tell her and that is.. Hanabi suddenly exclaims if Atsumi knows that there are heart-shaped Pinky [candies] available. Atsumi is surprised and happy about this news who wants to buy them. Hanabi thinks that even if she already knows who Sasa likes, she cannot tell it to Atsumi even if she knew of Atsumi’s feelings because she has to also consider Sasa’s feelings. She plans to just support Atsumi in some other way. Hanabi tells Atsumi that she’ll buy the Pinky for Atsumi as her Christmas gift for her. Atsumi says that indeed Christmas is coming soon. She happily says that she will depend on Hanabi for the whole set of heart-shaped Pinky. Atsumi asks what she wants. Hanabi thinks hard then says, “That guy..” To her shock, Atsumi is already talking with their other two friends about some delicious juice. Mii then tells Hanabi that she should now grab the opportunity because she has heard from glasses that Chikai seems to have broke up with his girlfriend. Hanabi just says yes as she is still split over being happy or sad about it. At the other class, Chikai tells gloomy Shinichi that he is annoying. Shinichi just says, “Because..because~~” Flashback: Note says that for the first time while waiting for Mii, he finally manages to coincidentally meet her on the way to school. Shinichi is really happy about this while Mii thought he is annoying. Shinichi apologized to her for being very happy. He then said that Chikai must be lonely because he has broken up with his girlfriend. This surprised Mii. Shinichi then quickly covered his mouth. End flashback.
Chikai says, “Blaring trumpet. I wanted to scold you this way but even if you let your girl know, it is of no concern to me.” To Chikai and his two friends’ surprise, Shinichi shouts that he is concerned/hurt. While Chikai is looking at him since Shinichi looks quite troubled, Shinichi looks up to him and says that he is just joking and he just says that Chikai’s surprised expression is quite cute. Chikai denies that he is surprised. They are interrupted when Hanabi calls out to Chikai and asks if he can come to her for a moment. Shinichi approaches Hanabi and welcomes her. Hanabi backs away a bit as she thinks that she isn’t calling for him. Shinchi tells her that even if she hates guys, she would even go there so she must be doing her best [to woo Chikai]. With a scary look, Shinichi says, “Let me say! You should do your best more! Do not let any other girl take Chikai away!” Hanabi is freaking out and puzzled by what he said. She can only mutter her thanks for his support. She becomes slightly puzzled when Shinichi’s look softened and tells her that it’s true [he is supporting her]. Shinichi walks away as Chikai approaches Hanabi and asks her what’s up. Holding a small dessert, Hanabi says that she just made a red tea pudding. She wants to give it to him after it has cooled. Shinichi is totally cute as he is doing some cheering dance behind them. =P Their two friends wonder what’s up with Shinichi. Chikai tastes the pudding. Hanabi blushes when she sees that Chikai is wearing the small pompom hair band that she made before. “I will grab this opportunity,” she thinks. Hanabi exclaims that Christmas is coming soon. Chikai says that it is so, according to the calendar. Hanabi asks if he can go out with her. Chikai says that it’s finally here, but why does it feel like she is asking for charity [asking something in return] when he heard that. Hanabi is blushing and closing her eyes as she waits for his answer.
Chikai changes the topic as he asks her what does she meant about ‘recharge’ this morning. Hanabi apologizes and exclaims that it is quite shameless of her to do. Chikai says that what she is doing now is also quite shameless. Hanabi goes into shock when she realized that she took the initiative to touch Chikai. She’s freaking about the touch. Chikai says that it seems she isn’t discouraged and would she want a reward. They exchanged emails via infrared. Chikai tells him to email him when she decided to go out. While walking away, Hanabi wonders what kind of Christmas would make Chikai happy. She thinks that Chikai’s email has Cleo in it. [Smiliey? It’s xx.u.x.u] She notices the numbers 1223 in the email address and this made her think that it is Chikai’s birthday. Outside the school, Yukine is waiting at the gate. She then notices Chikai walking by with Soutarou [black haired friend]. Soutarou is telling Chikai about having a gig at a Christmas boat and four clubhouses which is not the same as the Live House tonight. Chikai says that Soutarou is really great. They didn’t notice Yukine since she hid behind the post where she is standing. Elsewhere, Karashi is grocery shopping with Masato, her boyfriend. Kareshi points out a wreath made of fruits and vegetables and that it will be Christmas soon. Masato says that is true. He asks her how her mother is doing and if it is okay if he spends Christmas at her place. Kareshi says of course it is okay and everyone is eagerly anticipating it. She also says that her mother is feeling better now. “But, I’ll be asking you to prepare things with me.” Masato tells her to leave it to him – the decorations and the food. He then happily points out to her that those potatoes at the display are on sale at 358 yen. As he takes a bag, he asks her, “Can I be their brother any time?” The two smile at each other while walking and carrying the grocery basket together. She says, “Anytime..ah.” He exclaims that’s right. [That page only has speech bubbles so I might have switch the two’s conversation ^^;]
Walking home, Shinichi tells Mii that Christmas is coming soon. He asks her if she is free on that day. Mii says generally, she is. Shinichi exclaims that is great and thanks her for being free on that day for him. A note says that today is also the first time that Shinichi gets to walk home with Mii. [I think he is wearing that short scarf that Mii gave him.] Shinichi is really excited and asks her what kind of Christmas she wants. He happily smiles at her but Mii just looks away and tells him not to flatter her/a Christmas wherein he doesn’t flatter her. This made Shinichi dejected. He then musters his courage and jumps on top of the rail of a bridge. He exclaims that it cannot be done. “I will flatter you because I want you to turn around and look at me! ..I, will be waiting.” This surprises Mii then she pushes him off the rail. Shinichi manages to cling on the railing so that he won’t fall. He exclaims that is very dangerous. Turning around to him, Mii says, “Idiot guy.” This made Shinichi blush and asks her to say it once more. Mii is speechless and angry. Then, at the small forest path, Hanabi has been waiting for Chikai. She exclaims why he haven’t arrived and it is quite cold already. She decides to write him an email. “You’re too slow! Did you go home already? Or, are you still in school?” Hanabi then gloomily thinks who does she thinks she is. She decided to change her email into ‘Regarding the Christmas thing, is 23th okay? I’ll be working on the morning shift so I’ll be free at night.” After sending it, Hanabi hopes that she can make Chikai happy on his birthday and on Christmas. She decides to go home as she wonders when he would reply. Hanabi is surprised to see Yukine waiting for her. Yukine smiles and tells Hanabi that she has been waiting for her at the gate but then her friends told her that Hanabi walks home on that path. Hanabi is a bit nervous as she asks why Yukine is looking for her. Hanabi is surprised when Yukine’s hand goes over her face. She quickly closes her eyes [expecting a slap] but to her surprise, Yukine just touches her face and apologizes for hitting her before. “Did it hurt?”
Hanabi denies that it hurt as she wonders what is this all about. Yukine apologizes again and asks Hanabi to forgive her for momentarily losing her temper. “I can tell you anything regarding Chikai.” Hanabi blushes a bit then looks down. She thanks Yukine as she wonders if this is the kind of relationship between one who currently likes Chikai and the ex-girlfriend. She feels a bit uneasy about it. Yukine then invites Hanabi to a publicized Christmas party [I think for the staff people working at the mall] on Christmas Eve day since Atsumi is also coming. Hanabi nervously just says yes. Chikai has typed that 23th is okay. Hanabi asks if it is really okay for her to go to that kind of party. Yukine says that it is alright because they work at the same place. [By the way, Yukine is smiling all throughout here.] Hanabi can just nervously say yes while smiling. Just then, Hanabi’s phone starts ringing and from the ringtone, Hanabi realizes that it is Chikai. Yukine smiles and says that she knows that ringtone and it is Chikai. Hanabi looks ill as to why she used that ringtone. Yukine asks if it okay for her not to answer it. Hanabi tells her that it is just an email. Yukine asks Hanabi if Chikai’s email messages are short. Hanabi looks at her then says that she doesn’t know because she hasn’t seen them yet. Hanabi thinks that even if it makes her happy to talk about those things yet she has a losing feeling inside her. Yukine bids her goodbye and she hopes to see Hanabi on Christmas Eve. Hanabi just looks at Yukine as she walks away. At a live house concert, Chikai and Arashi [crop hair friend] are listening to Soutarou’s band playing. Soutarou is a drummer and he is all made up – make up, half-naked, & black necklace. When Chikai closes his flip phone, Arashi asks if it is a girl. Chikai just says that he can’t quite say. Arashi didn’t hear him. They then see Shinichi happily waving at them as they wonder what happy thing happened that Shinichi is looking really happy. Chikai then tells Shinichi that they go in front.
The next day in school, Hanabi tells her friends about Yukine’s invitation to her. Hanabi asks if Atsumi is going. Atsumi says she is. Kareshi tells Hanabi that there is a chance that Yukine planned that so that Hanabi and Chikai will not meet on Christmas Eve. Hanabi wonders if that is the reason behind Yukine’s kindness. Hanabi tells them that she is going out with Chikai on the 23th. They are happy for her. She thinks that as Yukine had said, Chikai’s email message is indeed short. Hanabi begins to think if what Yukine is doing has some ulterior motive to it and is she trying to make Hanabi lower her guard/feel happy. The day went normally and at night, Hanabi is busy sewing. Nanpa can only look at Hanabi as she exclaims when she pricked her finger on the needle while she is working on the sewing machine. Hanabi bites/sucks her bleeding finger and thinks that if Yukine plans on getting Chikai’s feelings back, she won’t lose to her. Finally, on the day, Hanabi happily toast with Chikai a Merry Christmas. The two dogs are wearing ‘reindeer’ headgear. They are eating at the porch of a restaurant. While drinking, Chikai asks Hanabi why she has decided on eating out like that when it’s very cold. Hanabi asks if it is cold and is he an old man [being afraid of the cold]. Hanabi happily points out that there are hot orange juices, steaming hot food, a heater under the table and a warm blanket on them. She thinks, “And, most important of all, passionate feelings! Even if it is just one sided.” Chikai drops the topic and asks why the dogs are with them at the café. To the dogs’ shock, Hanabi admitted that she doesn’t plan on bringing them along. “But..” Hanabi thinks that she doesn’t know what will make Chikai happy. Chikai smiles and asks, “But?” Hanabi blushes and thinks that Chikai is such a huge S [sadist] for wanting to make her say it and even if she did say it, he would just ignore her feelings.
Hanabi tells him that she has prepared a gift. It looks like a friendship charm band for him and Cleo. For him, it’s a bracelet but for Cleo, it is a collar/necklace. Hanabi happily exclaims that it is a pair. Chikai blushes and says that it’s quite nice. He asks if it is handmade. Hanabi says that it is. He says that she is quite capable. Hanabi exclaims what is a person from ‘craftsman’ section talking about. [= no need to praise her since he is also into that kind of ‘work’] Hanabi’s smile freezes when Chikai tells her that he didn’t prepare anything. Looking gloomy, Hanabi just laughs and says that she doesn’t mind one bit. Chikai comments that she doesn’t look like she doesn’t mind it. Holding her fingers out with a four-symbol, Hanabi exclaims that she wants a group picture of the four of them. Chikai notices the wounds on her fingers. Chikai then tells her that he’ll go call the staff. Hanabi is happy about this as she gets Nanpa to wear the hat properly for the picture. Chikai comes out with a Santa guy. While they are sitting with the dogs, Santa tells them to move closer. Hanabi freaks out about this. Finally, a nice group picture is taken using Hanabi’s cellphone. Hanabi is really happy about this as she looks at the picture. Santa then takes out something from his pocket and says that there is something else. He then gives her a set of bone and dog earring. Hanabi asks if it is a special gift. Pointing at Chikai who is fixing Cleo’s headgear, Santa says that it’s from him. Chikai tells her that he just happen to see it at the jewelry store there so he bought it. Blushing, Hanabi happily shouts her thanks. Chikai tells her that she’s quite loud. Hanabi exclaims that she still has another gift for him. Chikai asks how many gifts does she plan to give. Holding a package, Hanabi exclaims, “Happy Birthday!” Chikai looks at her and says, “Ha? Whose birthday?” Hanabi freezes then becomes puzzled. Hanabi says that it is because his email has 1223 in it. Chikai tells her that is Yukine’s birthday. Hanabi can only nervously smile at her blooper. The dogs look at them. Nanpa narrates that people who over-analyze is bound to have a misunderstanding. “And, this misunderstanding can bring about huge ‘waves’ [impact?]. It is something that will soon happen.”
Hehe..that is really embarrassing. I actually thought that the author is merely imitating what happened in Kimi ni Todoke but then, that twist is really different. I guess when Chikai created his email address, he is already going steady with Yukine. I guess because Hanabi doesn’t know much as to what makes Chikai tick, she can only depend on her knowledge that he likes dogs and using that to get Chikai’s heart. Aside from that, she is also trying to woo him with the food that she makes. I guess she believes that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. =P And also, the group picture looks nice ^^ I guess she should be wary of Yukine who is smiling and everything while talking to her. It’s like a person who might backstab another. It’s just a few/couple of days so it’s quite suspicious of Yukine to be acting friendly all of a sudden towards Hanabi, a known rival. As I mentioned before, the author does seem to be exploring all sorts of love in this series. Hanabi would be the type who chases after guys while for the male representative, it would be Shinichi though I think it is harder to woo a guy than a girl ^^; I guess Shinichi really regrets saying that to Mii that Chikai is now single again. If Hanabi fails in getting Chikai, he knows that Mii will be trying her chances on Chikai. I guess being in that situation, one has to be a bit shameless to win the other person’s heart to show that they are really sincere. Then, Kareshi and Masato’s relationship is doing well though their problem is regarding Kareshi’s family problem. I think it would be a major problem if Masato’s family is rich and doesn’t approve of her though I don’t think that the author will go into that since Hanabi is the main protagonist. Then, there is the part when Hanabi wasn’t able to tell Atsumi about the person that Sasa likes. It will be a problem later on if Atsumi learns from someone else and realizes that Hanabi knew about it all along. Lastly, I’m really amused that Soutarou is a drummer for a rock band. No wonder they went to that live house before and now, it’s to support him. ^^; It’s quite an interesting mix since he is in craftsman section yet he is a musician. Actually, he doesn’t look like a rocker type. ^^; I wonder if the author will tell us his story later on. I wonder if Arashi would be the ‘athletic’ type. =P To complete the different personalities of Chikai’s group. ^^ Scans by xiuxiu.

The three idiots are really happy and excited because it’s finally Sunday again and it’s time to go to the maid café. Aoi has told them about the activity that the maid café has prepared and they even get ready for it by watching a shoujo anime that morning. It is the first time they saw it. When they open the door to the café, they are greeted by Misaki who is dressed up as a witch magical girl. She does her pose and welcomes them. She says that their café is doing some drinking [wine] activity. The other girls exclaim about some evil magic has gotten into their master [customer]. They do the roll-call of characters’ names that they are cosplaying then use their magic wands to ‘exorcise’ the evil magic while saying some magical words. Misaki and Honoka tell the three idiots who are now sitting at a table that everything is now alright. The three idiots are really happy and excited since it is like the anime they saw and the girls are really good at it. They couldn’t believe that Misaki would do that for them and not toss them out. Inside, Aoi is reprimanding Erika for making a mistake. Aoi wants to ‘perform’ too but Satsuki forbids him because he is a guy and a first year junior high. Aoi is angry about it since he thinks he is quite suited for it. Misaki enters in and asks some cooks for a magic girl puffy [? the term used isn’t in the dictionary and when I googled it, it just says puffy as in the duo singer group ^^;;]. Aoi suddenly exclaims some magic words. Misaki answers back in magic words. Aoi is just testing Misaki and comments why she already memorized the magical words when she didn’t know about that anime. Misaki tells him that Satsuki has lent some videos to her yesterday. Aoi exclaims in shock that Misaki has perfectly learned the words just by watching it last night. Misaki smiles and says that it took her the whole night.
Then, the door bell rings = they have a customer. Misaki and Aoi look out to see Usui. Aoi comments that Usui is a customer today even though it feels that he is already a staff in the store. Aoi teases Misaki if she would dare do what she did earlier in front of Usui. Misaki just goes out to Usui and welcomes him. Usui smiles at her and this made Misaki blush. She tells him the activity for the day. Aoi is looking gloomy. Inside, Subaru and Satsuki are pleased that the theme is a hit with their customers. Outside, Misaki puts some magic to the customers’ food to make it delicious. When she enters inside, she notices Aoi looking gloomy. Aoi asks her what happened between her and that guy [Usui]. Misaki’s smile freezes as she just asks, “..Huh? What..” Aoi stands up and says, “Forget it, it’s nothing. I just had this feeling. I feel..I feel..that the you today is very boring!!” Misaki is gloomy when she was told to be boring. When she remembers Aoi asking if something happened between her and Usui, Misaki starts blushing. She then tries to calm herself down. Outside, Satsuki asks Usui’s advice about today’s special menu and the magical girl miracle puffy. Usui says that it is quite fun and it is really like a miracle. Satsuki asks if that is his real thoughts since she wants to hear his opinion about it. Usui sighs then starts telling her about how the cream should be scooped to make it prettier and making the puffy like a rose so that it would look nice. Satsuki gets confused by Usui’s suggestions that Usui says that he’ll write it down. While Usui is writing, Satsuki comments that Usui is really great that she wonders if he is really a normal human being. Usui laughs at this and asks her if he can take that as a compliment. With a thoughtful look, he says, “Because there is someone who always calls me like that so think of me as a ‘pervert alien’.” This comment slightly surprises Satsuki.
Carrying four glasses of juice, Misaki tells the three idiots that it’s time to play Magical Girl Ross [her character’s name] Roulette Game. One of the juices is from magical world. They would have to guess who drank that juice. In order not to be exposed, everyone should first drink all of the juice then pretend that it is ‘nothing’ – not the magical juice. If they win against her, they can either get a coaster or a souvenir photo. The three idiots exclaim that they want the photo. Irritated but keeping her smile, Misaki tells them that it is now time for her to recite some magical words. They ask what the magic is for. Misaki says it is a ‘you cannot lie’ magic. ‘Dolinpa Dolinpa You cannot lie!” Usui is sitting at the other table and reading his cellphone. When he heard about the magical words, he slightly smile/laughs. Misaki says that it is time to drink. The three idiots drink. Kurosaki is making ‘yuck’ sounds as the other two wonder what’s up with him. Misaki hears a cup on the saucer so Misaki makes a side glance at Usui. She blushes as she quickly drinks her juice straight. Kurosaki tells the other two who are freaking out that juice/attack shouldn’t be used for games. Misaki exclaims that the one who drink the juice is Kurosaki. Kurosaki tells her to give him some water first. The café has closed and some of the staff has already left. In the staff room, Misaki asks what happened to Aoi that he is in such a foul mood. Satsuki says that it is because Aoi has thought that he can finally go out so now, he is acting difficult. Angry Aoi is pouting. Aoi whines that he was the one who helped choose the outfits, how to perform and making the cute sweet ‘mo xue’ [I think it’s the drink]. Satsuki sighs and says yes, he was the one who thought of everything. Aoi cries that he wanted to do those stuff, too.
Satsuki asks Aoi if he is all alone so he just stayed in that kind of place during his free day. “At least, go out with your friend!” This made Aoi angry as he shouts that he doesn’t want to be lectured by Satsuki regarding that. Satsuki angrily shouts back that this place isn’t his playground. Aoi shouts that she is too noisy. “There is no relation between having no friends and this issue!! I’m not the only one who is alone!! Isn’t that idiot Usui also all alone!!” This surprises Misaki. Satsuki shouts at him not to call others an idiot. Aoi stubbornly declares that Usui absolutely doesn’t have any friends, too. Satsuki tells him not to use that kind of tone. She asks Misaki about it regarding what Aoi said isn’t true. They notice that Misaki has spaced out. After snapping out of it, Misaki stutters that Shoichiro could be his friend but then, is a pet considered as a friend. Aoi then asks Misaki, “What are you..to him?” Blushing and excited, Satsuki tells Aoi not to ask that. Aoi asks, “Friend?” Misaki sweatdrops as she says they are not since it doesn’t feel that way. Aoi asks, “Rival?” Misaki admits that she could have thought of it that way before but she doesn’t know what he thinks.. Aoi said, “You thought before So that’s in the past, right? Let me change my question! For the current you, what is he to you?” This surprises Misaki as she blushes really red. This shocks Aoi. Satsuki is happy and excited about it. She holds Misaki’s hands and exclaims, “Finally!! It has finally become like that, Misaki!!” This surprises Misaki as she exclaims what Satsuki meant by that. Aoi is angry as he exclaims that someone who is like an idiot should be called an idiot. Before he leaves, he says that joining up with that idiot, there’s no way he’ll get along with them. “Idiot group!!” Satsuki tells Misaki that it is quite relief [good work]. “Because he has been waiting for a long time ♥” This made Misaki blush again as Satsuki happily goes off to sweep the floor.
Misaki decides to take out the trash and use the air outside to cool her face. She blushes even more when she sees Usui standing outside. She looks at him and exclaims why he is there. Usui asks her if he can’t be there. Misaki exclaims that he can’t because if he stands near the back door, he might be misunderstood and thought to be a pervert. “What are you doing, idiot..” This made Usui laugh. Misaki sweatdrops as she asks why is he laughing. Usui apologizes and says that it is because she looks like she is trying her best yet her already red face face is becoming redder. Misaki is blushing. She hits the garbage bag on him before putting it at the side. Usui is shaking as he tells her that hurts. Misaki shouts that he’s quite noisy. “I also know it even if you didn’t say it!! So, shut up, stupid Usui!!” Misaki is shivering from the cold while thinking that she plans to cool her face there but what happened is contrary to what she wanted. Looking at her, Usui smiles and slightly blushes. Misaki thinks that it’s quite cold that night that she can even see her breath. It is all thanks to the coldness that her face isn’t that warm. Usui asks Misaki if she isn’t cold. “Coming out while wearing that at night, you should at least wear a coat. Misaki really likes/want others to care for her..” This made Misaki angry as she exclaims if she can’t do that. She tells him that she didn’t plan on staying there for a long time. She then asks what the matter is. Usui says that he is only going to meet someone. Misaki asks if it is a friend, surely it’s a good friend. With a teasing look, Usui looks away and asks if he looks like someone who doesn’t have a friend. This shocks Misaki as she exclaims if he just heard what they talked about earlier. Usui says, “Speaking of that, I had always been curious..just now, that last question, I also wanted to know the answer.”
This made Misaki blush since he is asking what he is to her. She shouts for him to shut up and tries to punch him but Usui caught her punch. Usui asks her if that is her way of expressing her feelings when she cannot tell a lie. “You’re still not honest [to yourself]..” Misaki shouts for him to shut up. “You are making me embarrassed when you are saying all those things.” Usui tells her that she’s quite cruel. Misaki tells him to shut up. Usui says, “Then, let me also use action to express myself.” Usui pulls Misaki to him then hugs her. Misaki shouts what he is doing and tells him to let her go. Usui doesn’t reply as Misaki tries to struggle free. “Doing this here, what if someone sees us..” She is surprised when Usui whispers to her ear, “Dolinpa Dolinpa You cannot lie-- Do you want me to let go?” This made Misaki blush redder than before. She holds on to his arm and says, “..you are not a magical girl..how can you use magic..” Usui tells her that it is alright to be even a little bit honest. Misaki shouts, “Shut up!! Idiot Usui..” Hehe..nothing much seem to happened as I wrote before, it seems like they plan to keep their ‘new’ relationship a secret but then, it is obvious because of Misaki’s blushing. I wonder if the author plans to take it slowly in revealing to others about it. Is it like now Satsuki and Aoi but later on, it would be the people in their school? With Misaki’s reactions, it will be easily revealed. Haha, unless the other person is stupid =P I do like the parts when Misaki would look at Usui, she blushes. It’s kind of subtle yet somewhat romantic. Hm..it’s somewhat cold so are we going to have a Christmas chapter soon? ^^ Hehe Christmas is usually romantic in shoujo. Oh about the maid cosplay, I didn’t know before that maid cafés do those kinds of special events until I saw it in Kannagi. Since it is mentioned here too, I guess it is also done in Japan. =P
About Ouran 67, my quickie summary is pretty much right and it will be redundant if I summarize it again. So, I’ll just write my reaction to it. After reading that last part, I thought it would have been better or rather romantic if Tamaki admitted that to Haruhi and not to Megumi. Even if it’s nice that Tamaki finally knows, it somewhat made the chapter ended flat. Oh well, maybe the author is saving it for later and if their relationship is already out in the open, I’m sure Tamaki’s grandmother will create trouble for the two. The author hinted about Honey and Mori graduating. It made me think if the series is ending or is it going to a new part/arc without the two. It won’t be the same without them though. About the game, it’s quite creative. I think it is a game wherein Tamaki can easily win yet make Mei get turn off by Tamaki. I do wonder how Tamaki can create a winning curry with those ingredients. Maybe they can just hire an eccentric taste judge. It is a joke wherein weird ingredients can produce an ‘out of this world’ taste which excites ‘food aficionados’. =P I do wonder if there is also a different goal in the game to make Mei’s parents get along with each other. It does seem quite ‘shallow’ if it is only to make her get turned off by Tamaki. I’m curious about Mori and Haruhi’s games in the checkpoint. This chapter reminded me of some typical Japanese comedy drama plot. It is usually about an overeager and nice lead who helps everyone else in their lives and before it ends, the others are now going to help the lead with his trouble.
Then, about Nana 80, I guess from Hachi’s last monologue, it would mean that the series will end when she meets up with Nana. Since now, her future is in limbo without Nana, if they are together, their future will be nice again and it will be like, what happened next is a different story. =P Since Hachi somewhat mentioned it, I also think that without Ren, the two bands do not have any reason to ‘interact’ with each other again except for Shin, of course. I think it’s good that Shin has quickly stopped Reira from blurting it out that it happened because Ren tried to fetch her. But then, I doubt Nana would have reacted much since she is currently numb and in shock that it might not sink in. Shin does seem quite mature there and it does seem that he chose to be with his band in their times of grief rather than with Reira. From their grief, it does seem that Blast is more ‘affected’ by Ren’s death than Trapnest. Like in the last chapter, it does seem that Nobu is the one suitable for Hachi since he is the one who is there when she is troubled. Takumi can’t give her the comfort that she needs and well, it seems that the only one whom Takumi can comfort is Reira. Lastly, in this chapter, Kurata is shown to have some ‘reflection’ about his job. He actually thinks about etiquette rather than just take pictures to sell. If he did take pictures when he discovered Ren, I think there might be a public backlash on it. I mean even if it’s exclusive, it would be quite callous to take pictures on the accident or while Ren is rushed into the hospital. I guess this way we know why he send those Nana pictures to Hachi in the present arc. Anyway, I think the ‘suicide’ will happen after Ren’s ashes are thrown into the sea.
Oh..things are getting quite intense in Silver Diamond 49. Sigh, it would be nicer if there are still English scanlations for me to know the details but unfortunately, I can just ‘breeze through’ it. So, the prince has somewhat manages to stop Chigusa’s healing abilities because of the black snake. It seems that he is dying. Rakan volunteers to cut him open and ‘touch’ his heart. That must be pretty awful for Rakan to do as he is quite nervous about this and trying to psyche himself that he isn’t going back to his world as he uses the knife. It’s quite sad to see the two apologizing to each other about it but then, I guess it’s bad for Rakan’s nerves when Hoshimi points at Chigusa and tells him that [he/it] will shatter again soon after Rakan asks if what he did is right. I do wonder if he means Chigusa’s body but Chigusa himself will be okay. Maybe those blood colored vines coming out of the wound is for some other purpose. Anyway, I just want Chigusa to remember his past memories which I’m curious about. It is the reason why I’m sticking with this series even if I don’t understand much of what’s happening. ^^; Then, Narushige faces off with his mother and another guy. Not a good reunion especially with a gun pointed at him. It seems that they can teleport using special cloaks probably from Kinrei. Tohji is having problems of his own when he realizes that he is being used by the Prince and Kinrei as a spy. It turns out that he can see because he drank the Prince’s blood before so whatever he sees, the Prince sees. I doubt that he will join the others again after knowing this. I’m sure he’ll go on some sort of guilt trip. It does seem that the foursome is breaking up. Anyway, at least things are going well with the others since they manages to turn back the white snake back to its original white color from black. I wonder if the female ghost will be tagging along with them, too. Hehe, at least, there are now two females in their group ^^ Argh, just saw the continuation will be on March.

Weekly Jump Update: Bleach, Naruto, One Piece, Reborn and PSYREN

Bleach [c. 340] starts with Renji and Sado fighting some generic hollows who kept on coming at them. Rukia is fighting against execution squad head who powers up. Ichigo and Ulquiorra has started fighting each other. So far, it seems like a tie though Ulquiorra has the edge. Ulquiorra notes that Ichigo has become stronger. He asks if it is because he has already defeated Grimmjow or is it because Inoue is there or because his comrades are also fighting down below. Ulquiorra insists that even if Ichigo saves Inoue, she is still one of them so it’s useless. Ichigo exclaims that isn’t for him to decide. Ulquiorra answers back that he is right since it is up to Aizen to decide. Hehe, nice answer. I wonder what the other captains are doing. Trying to escape that place? Renji seems to have caught up or has headed back to where Sado is so where is Ishida? I think the fight against Ulquiorra will finish earlier if one of the captains just fights him but then, Ichigo would want to get back at Ulquiorra. It’s like ‘this is my fight for my pride, etc.’ =P
When Naruto and others returned, they are surprised that the village has been flattened to the ground in Naruto [c. 430]. A lot of the villagers survive because of Tsunade’s slugs. Tsunade exclaims that she can’t forgive Pain for what he did. Konan reprimands Pain for doing that as she plans to watch over him. After the rest of the Pain-s recovered, they all gather to main Pain who is now facing Naruto. Pain tries to attack Tsunade even as he exclaims that he only came there with one goal. Naruto smashes down one of the Pain as he exclaims that he is after him. Naruto tells Tsunade that he will deal with Pain. It is then implied that Naruto is more powerful than Jiraiya and the 4th Hokage. Ya..after all the trainings from others, it took a frog to finally power up Naruto. =P Since Pain has already his share of wins, I guess this time around, he will lose. Hehe..with all the ‘I can’t forgive’, this series might never end. ^^; I think that’s the main ‘drive’ of the villains in this series. Hm..with Konoha destroyed, I wonder what kind of new buildings would be build to replace them.
Buggy can escape from a bulgori’s attack but it takes Luffy to knock them all out in One Piece [c. 527]. The guards learn of this and they wonder who the other ‘escapee’ prisoner is because no one powerful as that should be in that place. Luffy has told Buggy that he wants to save Ace so he wants to go to Level 5. Buggy doesn’t want to help him since he is more interested in escaping. Luffy tells him about the more than 10 battleships outside, etc, so he wishes Buggy luck on his escape and he’ll just ask someone else to help him. Buggy then notices a band which Nami gave on Luffy’s arm. He wants it in exchange for teaching Luffy how to find Ace. Luffy agrees. Buggy runs off with Luffy to get away from the guards. He tells Luffy how to get to level 5 and that there is probability that Ace is placed lower than level 5. Buggy says that he can only guide him up to level 4. Buggy has slipped that the band Nami gave Luffy is really a map mark to Captain John’s treasure which Buggy has been looking for all his life. Ever trusting Luffy gives Buggy the band even as Buggy hints that he might just run off with it and not tell him how to find Ace. When Buggy hits on to the wall, Luffy thinks that is the shortcut so he punches Buggy into wall. They arrive at the bladed tree forest covered in blood from the prisoners who were made to pass through it. Buggy helps Luffy get across it. Luffy learns that Ace was made to pass through that, too. Buggy tells him to go into the hole which leads to level 2. No one wants to go there because it is a worse hell than level 1. Luffy jumps into. Buggy plans to leave Luffy behind but when he tries to evade the bulgori’s ax, he ended up falling down, too. =P At level 2, it is where the beasts of hell are located. Mr. 3 is in there as he comments that the beasts are making an uproar and maybe they are hungry. Wow, I’m imagining that Luffy will also get Mr. 3 to join him in rescuing Ace. Hm..I wonder if he’ll get others as he goes down. Yup, it does seem that this arc is like some sort of reunion for Luffy and his former enemies. Also, I totally forgot when Nami gave Luffy that band. ^^;; I think she will be pretty mad if she learns that he gave it away but then, maybe not if it is to save Ace.
In Katekyo Hitman Reborn! [c. 224], as I thought, Fran used his illusion to make Siel/Jill and Olgert think that they are defeated. After Fran and Bel argue as to whose fault they have to do that, Fran tells Bel that he is just curious as to who is stronger – their boss or Siel. Bel is also curious. Meanwhile, Squalo is trying to contact Lussuria if he is alright. Levi is worried about Xanxus before he gets attacked and defeated[?]. Xanxus destroys his communication device since he complains about the noise. Siel and Olgert recognize Xanxus. Siel taunts Xanxus as a weakling since he was defeated by Tsuna before. That made Xanxus really angry then he yawns. Olgert attacks first but was easily blocked by Xanxus while he is still sitting on his chair. Olgert is shock by this since Xanxus didn’t even touch the elephant yet he managed to stop it. Olgert notices a shadow. Xanxus tells them that he was going to take his time on them but since they have to mention Tsuna, he is now going to make them disappear. While still sitting, he destroys the elephant. Hehe..I’m amused. I wonder if Xanxus knows about what Fran and Bel tried to do, they are so going to get it. It really does seem that Varia’s teamwork or lack of it, I mean the relationship of their group as compared to Tsuna’s group is quite different. Tsuna’s group is more on supporting Tsuna and others while Xanxus’ group is more you are on your own and backstabbing. =P Of course, for them to keep it together and not end up dead, they ought to be powerful. I guess they are really sucking it up to Xanxus when they made that flag about not recognizing Tsuna as their head. Xanxus still hates Tsuna. Geez, I wonder what will be Tsuna’s reaction when they meet each other again. I’m sure he’ll be quite afraid of him. =P If Xanxus is really powerful, I guess this will be a short fight. I think the author plans to keep Fran’s box weapon a secret for now.
The goalie hits Kyle and Inui tries to strangle Yoshina in PSYREN [c. 53]. Kyle manages to get the upper hand by destroying the goalie’s hands. Since Yoshina is having a hard time with Inui, he decides to go all out. Kyle’s power is to create psi blocks and manipulate them. He creates a huge one and pins the goalie down on the ground. With Yoshina’s cue, Kyle quickly cuts off his psi. Yoshina uses his power and blast it into the goalie’s head. Inui experienced the pain as he goes down. Yoshina tells Inui to keep his opinions about pain to himself. So, I guess that’s over and time to rescue Kagetora. I guess Yoshina is still a bit too kind that he didn’t go all out immediately. That is quite a bit like what Shao did.

Hikaru-lookalike greets Harada. Harada blushes then looks at the television then exclaims, “Hikaru?!” After a while, Harada asks if he is Shoei High’s Ohara-kun [surname]. Ohara comments that she remembered his name. Looking ‘ga-ga’ at him, Harada says how she can forget a handsome guy like him. “This is really such a coincidence.” Ohara smiles and says that is true. He tells her that she has become cuter compared before that he almost didn’t recognize her. Harada is flattered by that. He tells her that they see each other rarely so they should organize another group date. Harada happily says of course, definitely. Ohara then says, “Ah, that’s right. In the last group date, a girl didn’t come. What is she called..her name seems to be quite strange. Ah, that’s right..she’s called Kotori, right? Get that girl to come along, too. Okay ♥” Harada has a blank and irritated look when she heard that. Ohara bids her goodbye and tells her to contact him through email anytime. Harada has a bored look as she just rises up her hand to wave goodbye. After he left, she angrily shouts, “What is it Kaiji again!!” At Kotori’s bedroom, she has been turning around on her bed then blushes when she remembers their kiss. She calls herself a pervert for unconsciously remembering the kiss before. She takes out her lollipops and blushes when she sees it. She wonders why even if they are already going steady, there are times when it feels natural when they kiss and there are times when it isn’t. There are times when she feels particularly embarrassed and there are times when she doesn’t. “It’s quite unimaginable but this time, it’s really good that I was able to understand Yukito’s feelings.” She remembers when he told her that he doesn’t know what to do then he kissed her. Kotori blushes and hugs the pillow tight. “I totally feel that because of that kiss, I was able to become closer to Yukito’s feelings. What about Yukito?”
During lunch at school, Yukito says, “What a big mouth.” Kotori is about to bite into her bakudan [bomb-shaped] onigiri. This made Kotori blush. Yukito’s friend [Kera?] tells Yukito not to tease Kotori. Another friend tells Yukito to accompany him to buy a bakudan onigiri. With a teasing look, Yukito says, “Hehe, idiot.” Still with her mouth open, Kotori is totally shock by this. Natsume who is eating beside her says, “How sweet.” This surprises Kotori as she asks if she meant that as sweet. Kotori tells her that occasionally Yukito will do strange things and they are mostly about teasing her. Natsume tells her that it seems that Yukito is that kind of guy who likes to tease the person he likes. “Lately, you have been eating with me during lunch so he might be jealous.” Natsume stands up and tells her that she is going to buy some drinks. After she left, Kotori blushes as she thinks about what Natsume said and if it is true. Kotori mutters, “really..jealous, huh.” She then hears a gloomy voice saying, “I’m not jealous..” Kotori is surprised to see Yukito looking really gloomy behind her and telling her not to exaggerate* herself. [*to imagine oneself to be a gift to the opposite sex] Yukito then grabs her onigiri then starts eating it. Yukito says that it is delicious. He asks if it is a new flavor of bakudan onigiri. “I haven’t bought this flavor so let me eat it a bit.” Kotori exclaims that he should say that first before eating it. Noticing that Yukito ate a lot, she holds his shoulder while exclaiming that only a little bit is left. The two then laugh together. Kotori then suddenly thinks that the feeling just now is quite natural and if it’s the usual times, she would not know what to do. “Yet this time, it is natural.” Kotori happily smiles as Yukito asks her what is it, it looks creepy.
Just then, Yukito has an email on his cellphone. While Yukito is reading it, Kotori thinks, “Email again. Always not noticing that I’m here. Although I’m with Yukito, he will always look [answer] his cellphone. I wish that when we are together, he won’t keep on looking at his cellphone. But although we are going steady, this situation haven’t change, too..should..” She remembers Matsushima. “No way. Could it be that Matsushima girl again? What is it? I really want to know! If I ask then I might be thought of as annoying. But..but..” Kotori asks him who is it. Yukito says that it is his friend. This made Kotori glum-freeze. She starts making a face at him. She is surprised when Yukito suddenly looks at her and asks if she is free after school today. Yukito asks what’s with that scary face. Kotori says that it’s nothing and what is it about after school. Yukito tells her that his junior high friends said that they go out after school dismissal and he wants her to go with them. Kotori exclaims if they will go out with Yukito’s friends. Yukito says that is right because some of his friends wanted to see his girlfriend. “But, I also wanted to introduce you to my very good friends..” Kotori blushes at the thought that Yukito will be introducing her as a girlfriend to his friends. Yukito tells her that his friends aren’t the type to make her nervous so she should just relax. Yukito leaves and says that he’ll see her later. Kotori wonders what she should do since these are Yukito’s friends. She is very happy but what should she say since she is very nervous. Someone tells her that she should give a good impression. It is Natsume. She says, “Since it’s for your boyfriend, it is better for you to ‘dress up’ in order to become a bit cuter.” Kotori exclaims that she has heard all about it.
At an amusement center, Kotori arrives with curled hair and painted nails. Yukito asks why she is quite enthusiastic about it when she wasn’t like that earlier. “Are you trying to seduce my friends?” Kotori remembers Natsume holding a hair curler and nail polish while telling that it is better for her to be a bit cuter. Blushing, Kotori asks if it looks strange. “I..I just do not want to give a strange impression on your friends but then like this, will they think that you are going steady with a strange person?” Yukito blushes and looks away. He says, “It’s..it’s very cute so it’s alright.” He then says that some of his friends have arrived. Two of Yukito’s friends who look like delinquents greet her. Kotori tensely greets them as she remembers them as Yukito’s mature-looking friends at the karaoke before. Pointing at Kotori, Yukito says, “This girl is my girlfriend.” Kotori bows and greets them. Yukito’s friends tease Yukito for trying to be cool when he introduced Kotori that way. This made Yukito blush as he denies it. His friends then say that Kotori’s name is quite rare that it is cute and easy to remember. Kotori thanks them and says that no one said that before. Yukito’s friends exclaim in surprise about that. Yukito thinks that he said that before. His friends start to interview Kotori as to where she studied during junior high, what she usually do, where she lives, if they can exchange phone numbers and if she wants to see Yukito’s picture during junior high. Kotori says that she would want to see. This made Yukito exclaim if they are just talking [or picking her up]. Yukito puts his friend on a head grip and happily exclaims that they are making him angry. His friend laughs and says that it is Yukito’s famous head grip. Kotori thinks that this feels great for she was quite afraid at first that she won’t dare talk but she never thought that they would talk to her naturally and while talking, she feels quite relaxed. Kotori laughs with them as she thinks that this is quite fun. Kotori then notices Yukito looking at her and smiling at her. This made Kotori blush. She wonders if everyone is concerned about her because she was afraid. She wonders why Yukito now doesn’t look the same as the Yukito before. “What is it..he feels more friendly/relaxed now..is it the expression? There are times when he gives people that moving feeling. Is it because of this place? Is it because he is with his friends? Or is it just me? Perhaps I just don’t notice it before?”
She freezes when she hears Matsushima call out to the others and apologize for being late. Kotori wonders why she is there. Yukito says that he thought that Kotori will find it boring if all of them are all guys. Matsushima passes by Kotori and greets the two other guys – Hirata and Kazeda and asks what they have been doing. Kotori looks flustered. Yukito asks Kotori what she would want to eat since the others say that they are going to eat something. He tells her if she isn’t hungry then she can just drink something. Kotori says that she just wants some juice. Matsushima holds on to Yukito’s arm and tells him that she wants an ice cream. Yukito tells her to buy it on her own. She even tells him to feed her with it. Yukito tells her to mind her own business. Kotori is angry that they are intimate to each other again. Matsushima has ordered a large bowl of ice cream sundae and exclaims to Yukito that it looks delicious. Yukito snubs her as he just asks Kotori if just a juice is enough. Matsushima calls Yukito if he is listening to her. Kotori can only gloomily say that it’s fine. Matsushima then calls out to Yukito that she can’t finish her ice cream so why don’t they eat it together. Yukito is also just drinking some juice. Matsushima tries to feed a spoonful to him but Yukito tells her that he doesn’t want to eat it. Matsushima is leaning on to Yukito with one of her legs up on the bench. Yukito tell her to quit leaning on him but Matsushima deliberately leans on him. Kotori wonders what’s up with that. “Why is she doing that? Right in front of his girlfriend. Why does Yukito let that girl touch him like that as if it is nothing? It’s so strange.” Kotori is standing in front of a UFO catcher when Matsushima approaches her and asks her what she is just standing there. “Kuja-chan is so nice. What do you talk about with Yukito everyday? Is there nothing to talk about?” Kotori is just embarrassed. The other two guys tell Matsushima that she is being mean. The three then talk about all sort of things that Kotori is starting to feel left out.
Yukito calls out to Kotori and asks her what arcade game would she want to play. Kotori holds his arm. Noticing that something is wrong, Yukito tells the others to go ahead. Yukito asks her what the matter is. Kotori asks if they are friends. “Are you and Matsushima just friends?” Yukito asks what about Matsushima. Kotori says that maybe Matsushima likes Yukito. Yukito laughs it off and says that it is impossible. Kotori insists that Matsushima touches Yukito that way and would always be near him. “She would do all sorts of intimate things..not minding that I’m here. Why is it that you don’t care? When we obviously haven’t done those kind of things in front of others..” Kotori thinks that she can’t stop when she shouldn’t be saying such things. “It seems that compared with me, you have fun with her. Even if we are close, it still feels as if we are far away from each other..” Yukito blushes and explains that he can’t be intimate when he is in front of his friends. “And about that person, she is like that even before. It’s like an illness. There is also no meaning when she touches someone like that. But, at the start, I’m also quite troubled by it but even if I told her not to, she doesn’t listen. She is like that with everyone so everyone thinks that she is that kind of person. So, don’t think too much about it. And that person already has a sweet boyfriend.” This surprises Kotori that she exclaims, “Boyfriend?” Kotori couldn’t believe it for how could Matsushima act like that when she already has a boyfriend. Yukito hugs her and asks if she is jealous. “Ha ha, you are jealous, right? Ha ha because of me.” Kotori hugs him tightly that he screams out in pain. Kotori shouts that she doesn’t know. She thinks that maybe even if Matsushima already has a boyfriend, she might still like Yukito and what he said seems like some kind of joke. Kotori realizes what she is doing that she quickly pushes Yukito away. Yukito exclaims what’s wrong with her. Kotori blushes as she can’t believe that she has fiercely hugged him.
One of Yukito’s friends call out that Ookaze and others don’t know where the meeting place is. Yukito says that he will quickly go. Yukito says that there are others who are coming so he is going to fetch them. He asks Kotori if she wants to come along. Kotori stubbornly says that she doesn’t want to. To her surprise, Yukito tells her to just wait there. Kotori turns around to where Yukito has gone and she notices Matsuhima looking at her. Matsushima tells Kotori that Yukito has changed. “The truth is he wasn’t originally that kind of a sentimental person. The former Yukito is much better.” Kotori asks what she meant by that. She wonders if Matsushima is really.. Matsushima says that it is nothing. “I’m just saying that friend Yukito has changed and I feel bored by it. Doesn’t it seem that the two of you aren’t going steady? It totally feels like a mismatch. How should I say it..It makes one feel that one can’t give an approval.” Kotori gloomily wonders what’s up with this person. After thinking, Matsushima exclaims, “Ah, it’s like this! He wasn’t serious about going steady with you from the start. At the beginning, Yukito has never planned to seriously go steady with you and if it’s like that, then he doesn’t know how to think of/deal with things right now.” This shocks Kotori. [I think Kotori is now on her way home since she seems to be standing in the streets instead of the arcades.] Kotori is still stunned as she wonders if Yukito wasn’t serious about going steady with her. Just then, someone exclaims, “Huh? Is it you again? Kaiji Kotori?” It is Kera who greets her, “Hi, what’s the matter? You look quite gloomy.” Kotori turns around and Kera is a bit surprised to see her on the verge of crying.
Hehe, so when things are going smoothly, another problem comes up. The situation made me think that it is like a marriage which happened fast = short courtship. They didn’t really have a courtship and just instantly at that time just decided to go steady. So, these kinds of problems are but natural. It is like ‘forced’ and they are just attracted to each other then they’re now a couple. Of course there are uneasiness and insecurity of each other’s feelings. I think things would be easier if the two just admit that they are jealous if other people take up the other’s time. Since they are denying and everything, it is like they can’t confirm to the other that they really like each other. I actually can’t blame Kotori for her reaction because any girl would feel insecure and jealous if one’s boyfriend lets a different girl, even if it’s a friend, to act like a lover. One can’t easily believe if the guy says that is really that girl’s character. It would seem that she doesn’t trust Yukito but then, it’s like a lose-lose situation for Kotori. She’ll feel bad either way. I think that Matsushima is like a ‘self-centered’, flirty person who wants everyone’s attention to be on her. She doesn’t care what others think of what she does, too. Hehe, things are going smoothly until she came. I think Kotori doesn’t go well with girls like that. Yukito was thinking of Kotori being lonely if they are all guys but he didn’t know that he just made Kotori lonelier with Matsushima around. It’s quite bad timing for Kotori’s part since she has already realize that Yukito isn’t acting naturally and so when Matsushima hinted that Yukito wasn’t serious at first, this made her doubt about their relationship. Surely, she would blame herself since he supposedly changed for the worse. I actually think that he is acting like that because he isn’t sure of her feelings for him and he doesn’t want to force her to do things she isn’t used to. Lastly, I had thought that if ever the two broke up, Yukito has more to lose than Kotori. Kotori has Kera and Ohara who seems to be interested in her even if they haven’t seen each other before. Yukito is in a losing end if he has to compete with Ohara. Ohara seems to be flirty type..hm..maybe like Hikaru who says what a girl wants to hear. And what does Yukito have? Harada or Matsushima. =P Hehe, what are the chances of Natsume ending up with Ohara? Natsume also likes ‘Hikaru’. ^^ Anyway, I think Kera might help Kotori about her problem with Yukito’s friends and perhaps get to know if what Matsushima said is true. I don’t think Kera is the type who will try to break them apart just because he likes Kotori. He didn’t before and I’m sure he won’t now. Scans by xiuxiu

Kimi ni Todoke [Chapters 24 - 27]

[First of all, I just want to greet everyone a Happy New Year! ^^ ]
Chapter 24: It’s the middle of December. Sawako is walking to school and is happily greeted by Chizuru. While walking in the hallway, they meet Ryu who is using the baseball bag that Chizuru gave him. Chizuru is happy about it as she happily slaps Ryu at the back. Sawako looks at them happily. “This term exams are already over. There are many things that happened in the second term that right now, what’s left is the closing ceremony.” In the comfort room, Sawako accompanies Ayane who touches up her make-up. They talk about Chizuru who has become like herself again and it is all thanks to Ryu for making Chizuru meet up with Tooru, Ryu’s brother. While walking back to class, they are glad that exams are finally over. Chizuru is crying that the results of her exams are all low that she has to take supplementary class. Sawako apologizes that her notes weren’t of help. [I think it’s because she was too distressed about Tooru that she wasn’t able to study well.] Chizuru then shouts why only her and why Ryu passed. Shouta asks Chizuru if the supplementary class will be over by Christmas. Chizuru asks if Christmas is that time when many people say their love to each other [= lover’s day]. Shouta says that Christmas this year is on their free [no school] day so why not all those who don’t have any lovers to come and celebrate it together. He says that Ryu and Shiro will also get together. “We will exchange gifts then eat something delicious. It is also a ‘good work’ party for those who are taking supplementary classes.” Shiro thanks Shouta and says that he will also invite the girls. Everyone is excited about it especially Sawako. She asks him who can participate. Shouta says that everybody can. Chizuru tells Ayane that Ayane is free [no boyfriend] this year. Ayane angrily says that she is so free. Sawako blushes when Shouta says, “So-called everybody is everybody! Kuronuma!!” Ayane agrees to go and says that this will be the last time she can spend it with Chizuru and Sawako because next year she can’t. [meaning she’ll have a boyfriend next year]. Shouta takes a piece of paper and tells everyone to write their name on it if they would want to go to the party.
Later on, Sawako give some papers to Pin and sees Chizuru studying in a different room. She wonders if she can also join the party. The classroom is empty. She touches the paper which has the names of those who would want to join the Christmas party. It is pinned on the bulletin board. A note says that the exchange gift should be around 800 yen. She wonders if it’s alright if she can write her name. Since her family also celebrates Christmas, she has decided to go home first and ask her parents about it. The door suddenly opens and it is Shouta. After asking that she hasn’t gone home yet, Shouta notices that Sawako is standing near the paper. He sits in front of her and asks if she will be going. Sawako blushes and tells him that she will first ask her parents before deciding. He tells her to go. Sawako then says that she wants to go. Sawako thinks that she wants to celebrate Christmas with friends, people other than her family. Shouta smiles at her and says, “Okay!” Sawako thinks that it will be her first Christmas with Shouta. At home, Sawako takes out the gifts that she has prepared. She has made an apron for Chizuru, some knitted cup coasters for Ayane, a belly warmer [haramaki; the one that Zoro of One Piece usually wears] for her father and a pair of slippers for her mother. She happily thinks that she has made those Christmas gifts early on. She wonders what she should prepare of the exchange gift but then, she should ask first if she can go. She then imagines about giving Shouta a scarf, she decides not to. [I’m not sure if it is because she lacks time or a scarf is too intimate a gift for Shouta.] She thinks that even if she made one, she has no way of giving it to him. She remembers Shouta smiling at her. She decided on giving him a knitted [pompom beanie] hat. While knitting, her mother calls her to dinner since her father has already arrived. Going down the stairs, Sawako greets him then is about to ask him about the party when her father blurts out that she has not asked Santa what she would want for Christmas. She tells him notebook and mechanical pencil[?]. Her father laughs and says that is something that he can buy for her. “Santa said today that he’ll go all out!” Sawako then says she wants a pencil box and a nice mechanical pencil. Her father laughs and says that it is useless to tell him and she should write it down on paper. Sawako writes a note then hangs it on the Christmas tree.
During dinner, her father exclaims about the delicious chicken that Sawako cooked last year and the dishes that his wife cooked are also delicious. “Since this year’s Christmas is a ‘free day’, I will wake up early to help out!” Sawako gloomily thinks that her father is really anticipating Christmas. He then asks what’s up with Sawako [she looks glum] then says that regarding the cake, they’ll leave it up to Sawako. Sawako thinks that she can’t say it. As Sawako prepares to take the dishes to the kitchen, her father says that Sawako is such a nice kid that Santa always comes every year. Sawako thinks that she knows that Santa is really her father. She remembers her friends and Shouta. She then calls out to her parents and is about to say something about Christmas when her father is going nostalgic. “..Sawako’s expected birth date should have been December 24 but I got worried when she hasn’t come out. Right now, she is already grown up and quite healthy. She is finally born on New Year’s Eve [the day before New Year]. For us, Sawako is a Christmas gift..” Her mother lightly reprimands him for crying. Her father then asks what Sawako wanted to say a while ago. She says that it is nothing. In bed, she continues to knit as she thinks that she can’t say it. The next day in school, her friends are shock that she isn’t coming. Sawako tells them that her father is eagerly anticipating Christmas. Ayane asks if she can’t go even for just a while. Sawako says that her family starts early in the morning until the whole day. Sawako then gives them their Christmas gifts. They all like it and tell her that they will use her gift. This made Sawako happy. Shouta then asks what it is about. They tell him that it is their Christmas gift. She imagines the hat she’s making on him then tells herself that she’s being disrespectful. She thinks that Shouta wouldn’t want to get a gift from her. Shouta asks if that is okay for shouldn’t she be giving the gifts on Christmas day. Her friends tell him that Sawako can’t go since her father is eagerly anticipating Christmas. Shouta asks Sawako, “Really?” Sawako remembers their conversation yesterday. She just sadly says yes. Shouta is then called by the other guys regarding the place where the party will be held. Her friends try to cheer Sawako up by saying that they can meet at the start of the year or even on the 25th. Sawako just smiles and says that she hopes that they have fun. After class, Sawako is in the classroom alone. She touches the paper and thinks, “He invited me..next year..goodbye..” Shouta is standing outside of the classroom.
Then, it’s Christmas Eve, Dec. 24. Sawako happily puts the hat on her table. She is quite happy that she finished it even if there is no way for her to give it to Shouta. She has already put her parents’ gift in the bag. She decided to brush her teeth then prepare for Christmas. When she left, her father peeks inside her room and sees the hat. Sawako has all dressed up when she heard her parents exclaiming about something that suits her father. To Sawako’s shock, her father is wearing the hat she knitted. Her father asks if it is his Christmas gift. “Thank you!” Sawako couldn’t answer as she is in total shock. Her father is in tears as he says that she remembered him saying that his head is quite cold last year. “It’s quite warm and it is the kind of hat that I wanted. Thank you, Sawako! Merry Christmas!!” Sawako just smiles and says that she is glad that he likes it. She then gives her gift to her mother. She thinks that now, she can really not give it away since it has made her father really happy. So, they prepare their food and started eating dinner. Sawako looks at the clock and it is almost 8:30pm. She thinks that everyone must be having fun. Her father asks what’s wrong and if she’s not happy. This surprises her. She smiles and says that she is happy. Their phone started ringing. Sawako answers it. Chizuru has called her from the party. It is quite noisy at the background. She called to ask if Sawako is happy this Christmas and it is quite lonely without Sawako there. Chizuru then passes the phone to Ayane. Ayane asks if she is lonely and it’s alright if she can come later on even if it’s just for a moment. When the phone is passed on to Shouta, Shouta asks if this is Kuronuma. Sawako starts crying that she can’t reply to him. She wanted to go but what should she do since she can’t say it. Her parents notice this. Her mother takes the phone from her and says that she wants to ask them something. Her mother tells Shouta that this is Sawako’s mother and she thanks them for taking care of her daughter. [It’s just a polite greeting] This made Shouta quickly greet back a good evening. Her mother realizes that it is a boy. She says that it seems that they are having fun there. Shouta answers that it is indeed fun there and it would be more fun if Sawako is there with them and Sawako will also have fun/be more happy.
Sawako’s father calls crying Sawako to him. Sawako asks her father if she can go to her classmates’ party for a while. Sawako is surprised when her father gives her his Christmas gift for her. She opens it and it is a cellphone. Her father exclaims that she should have told this to them early on. “If you are coming home late, we will just call you on the phone. The batteries are already charged!!” Sawako stands up and thanks her father while holding the cellphone. Her mother hangs up the phone and says that Sawako has already left. Her father is crying as he thinks that day has finally come. Sawako runs to the party as she wonders if she’s late yet she still wants to go. At the party, everyone is having a toast and hopes that there are fewer people there next year. [= many of them would have lovers next year.] Some of them ask who will sing next in the karaoke. Sawako has finally arrived and sees Shouta waiting for her outside. Shouta says that he actually thought that she will be allowed to go and she really did come. Shouta smiles as he said that and it made Sawako cry tears of joy. Shouta says, “Even if the Christmas party and the exchange gift is over, this is something for you.” It is a cellphone strap with a flower decoration. Shouta says that it might be quite meaningless. [since she doesn’t have a cellphone] Sawako holds up her cellphone and says that she doesn’t know how to use it. Shouta laughs and says that he will teach her. He puts the strap on her phone. Shouta then sends her a ‘business card’ [his phone number]. Sawako thinks that the first time she got a cellphone, and the first name that will be recorded in it is Shouta’s. She suddenly exclaims that she also has a gift for him. Shouta is surprised by this. Sawako is shock that she just exclaimed that. Holding Sawako’s father’s gift, Shouta asks if it is a neck warmer. Sawako nervously explains that it is a belly warmer. [It’s usually worn by old people.] She thinks, “Before it’s lonely especially since I wasn’t able to come here earlier but then, there’s a small miracle and the switching of gifts..overall, I wish you a Merry Christmas!”
Chapter 25-27: Sawako wakes up and looks at her table. There are some notebooks, mechanical pencils and a note from her father admitting that he is Santa Claus. She then sees her cellphone on the table. She holds it up and exclaims that it was not a dream. Her father is brushing his teeth when he notices Sawako looking scary as she peeks inside to thank him for the gifts. Her father is crying about Sawako being shock that he is Santa as the mother tells him that Sawako has already gone downstairs to prepare their breakfast. Today is December 25th, closing ceremonies. At school, the class is talking about how surprise they are to see Sawako there at the karaoke. She was urged to sing by Chizuru and others to sing a song then she returned home. The guys are talking that it seems Shouta came in with her and is it possible for him to.. Ayane tells them that they are stupid for she is the one who called Sawako. Her alibi is that Shouta loses a game against her so she made him wait for Sawako since she doesn’t know the second place where they went. The boys are then cheered up with that information and what they thought is impossible. Ayane thinks that it isn’t time for them to know since there is still Valentines’ Day that is coming up. She doesn’t want them to destroy the good thing between Sawako and Shouta and given Sawako’s nature, she might be thinking about Shouta’s reputation. Sawako arrives and greets the others who hesitantly greet her back. She then looks at the side to see Shouta talking to the others about arriving early. She remembers what happened the night before. Flashback: Sawako confessed that the gift is supposed to be her father’s since the gift she prepared for him got switched. She suggested that he give it to his parents or aunt or uncle. To her surprise, Shouta asked if he can have it. Sawako is totally happy about it even if Shouta won’t wear it. End flashback. She believes that even if it’s a hat, Shouta wouldn’t wear it so it doesn’t matter if it’s a hat or a belly warmer. He greets her a good morning. She greets him back. The other guys think that the two are treating each other normally so they should forget what they thought earlier. Everyone is smiling as they greeting each other a good morning. Sawako thinks that the start of school break tomorrow, she will be a bit lonely. They are surprise when glasses teacher [the one whom Pin replaced and they thought was cursed by Sawako] come in with Pin.
Glasses teacher says that this will be the last time that he’ll be their homeroom teacher and the last day he’ll be at school because he is going to inherit his wife’s family’s wine brewery. The students are shock as they exclaim wasn’t he suppose to be sick. He tells them that it was just a cold and he was helping out at the wine brewery. Shouta asks about a holding a farewell party. Moved to tears, glasses teacher thanks them but he has to leave after school ends today. He tells them that he won’t forget the time they spend together. Pin says something about worshipping the new homeroom like that, too. This made everyone quiet. Glasses teacher tells everyone to get ready for the closing ceremonies. They all stand up and lines up as they head to the gym/stadium. Sawako sees Ume who sticks out her tongue and pull her eye lid at her before looking away. Sawako thinks that Ume is still cute that way. While the principal is addressing the students, Sawako thinks that a lot has happened this year as she reminiscence everything that has happened. “A lot of ‘first times’ has happened this year.” Afterwards, Sawako gives a paper with everyone’s best regards to glasses teacher. They stand up then bows as the teacher leaves. Chizuru happily exclaims that it’s finally vacation and they should eat out. Sawako looks at Shouta who is invited by the others to go karaoke again. She thinks that if he goes home, then she’ll have to wait for third term before seeing him again. “This year is all thanks to you. Thanks to your luck, I’m very happy,” she thinks. The two look at each other as they seem to want to say something. Shouta’s friends call out to him. Sawako thinks that he is leaving so she should say something. Shouta shouts okay then walks away. Sawako thinks that it’s already time over. Shouta looks back at her and says, “Byebye!” Sawako says, “..Have a good year..!” Then, she thinks, “See you..next year.”
At a restaurant, Sawako shows her friends her cellphone that her father gave her. Chizuru asks if she already has an email address. Sawako says that she hasn’t finished reading the manual so she doesn’t know how to make one yet. They help her by asking what she would like to use as her username. She exclaims that she wants it to be her name and birthday. She chose, ‘sawako.not.sadako.1231@..’ They are surprised that her birthday is on New Year’s Eve and it is quite near already. The two friends look at each other as if they agreed on something. Sawako then asks her friends if it is possible for them to meet each other during the break when they are free. They tell her of course they can since it is easier now for them to contact each other. Sawako is really happy that she doesn’t have to wait until third term to see them again. Chizuru tells her that she and Ryu will be going to the shrine [Hatsumode] on New Year’s Eve so how about she and Ayane go there together with them. Ayane says that she’s free on that day. Sawako is thrilled that she can be with everyone on that day. She quickly calls her mother and tells her about it. Her mother consents and that they ask her father when he arrives. Her mother believes that he will let her go as an apology for the mistake that happened yesterday. Sawako exclaims, “That’s great!” She thinks that she can be with everyone on the day when she turns 16. Ayane asks her if she knows Shouta’s number. She says that she knows when she met him yesterday. Chizuru asks if she talked with him before. Sawako says that there is nothing to talk about and she just got it yesterday. Ayane tells her that now, she has something to tell him. She says that if she doesn’t tell Shouta, she will go to the shrine only with Chizuru, Ryu and her [Ayane]. “If you don’t mind that, then forget it. If you want to see Kazehaya then you should invite him yourself, Sawako. If you don’t contact him now then he might have something to do later on. You don’t have to force yourself..if you want to see him.” Sawako thinks that if she didn’t contact him now, she will have to wait until the third term to see him. She musters her courage and says that she doesn’t know his email so she is going to call him. She’s shaking as she practices on how to greet him. Chizuru slaps her at the back and tells her to take a deep breath. Sawako takes a deep breath as her friends that she is making them nervous. Sawako tells herself that it will be true bliss if she can see him. Sawako calls him up. Shouta notices who is calling so he answers it. Sawako tells him that it is her. She invites him to the shrine visit with the others if he is free on that day. To her surprise, Shouta quickly says yes. Shouta narrates everyone’s names including Sawako. Sawako exclaims that she won’t be bothering everyone. Shouta says he will go and he’ll anticipate it. Sawako is happy that they will see each other. She tells her friends about it. They bid each other goodbye as Sawako thinks that they can see each other on her birthday. “It’s like a dream.” Her friends are plotting something.
Time passes by quickly and it is finally December 31. After dinner, Sawako’s mother tells her that there is no need for her to put away the dishes since it is her birthday. Her parents tell her to prepare so that she won’t make her friends wait for her. Sawako tells her mother that she will wear the knitted cape that her mother gave her. Her father is a bit sad that Sawako will be going with her friends to the shrine and not with him. While Sawako is thinking that everyone are her friends though Shouta is special, Sawako is surprised by a door bell. Ayane and Chizuru have arrived early at her house. They ask if they can go with her to her room while she dress up. Sawako obliges. In the room, Sawako is surprised as Chizuru is combing her hair and Ayane putting make-up on her. Ayane tells her that didn’t she thought of wanting to become cute like Ume before when she saw Ume. “Have you ever thought of why you wanted to become cute?” Chizuru then puts a beautiful butterfly pin on Sawako’s hair and says, “This is from me and Ayane. Happy birthday, Sawako.” Her friends exclaim that she looks cute and her hairstyle suits her. Sawako is about to cry as she thanks them. The two quickly shout for her not to cry [else the mascara would run]. As they leave, Sawako’s parents think that it seems that Sawako is different from before. Sawako mentally thanks her friends. “I’m very, very happy. Being able to meet you two this year, so many happy things happened.” Sawako is then surprised when her friends start to bid her goodbye since they are going somewhere else with Ryu. They tell her to have fun with Shouta and not to care about them and Ryu. Chizuru tells her to report everything tomorrow. Ayane tells her not to be afraid since she is the one who invited Shouta. Sawako walks ahead and sees Shouta waiting at the meeting area. Shouta looks surprised when he sees her. Sawako has realized why her friends made her a bit cute that day. After staring at Sawako for a while, Shouta blushes and says that Ryu hasn’t arrived yet. He looks away and asks where Chizuru and Ayane are. Sawako tells him that the two aren’t coming including Ryu. Sawako thinks that Shouta might be disappointed and troubled by it that he would want to go home. Shouta turns around and says, “Let’s go.” Sawako thinks, “Dec. 31, 30 minutes left before the New Year.”
While walking, Sawako is a bit sad that Shouta isn’t looking at her. Shouta is walking ahead of her. She thinks that like this, she can’t look at him either. Sawako didn’t notice the first step of the stairs going up the shrine that she trips. Shouta quickly catches her and says that it is dangerous. The two blushes and quickly part from each other. Looking into different direction, the two talk about not noticing the first step. Behind some bushes, Ayane, Chizuru and Ryu are watching. Ayane is furious as to what those two are doing. She quickly tells Chizuru to call Shouta. Ryu is clueless over the girls’ plans as he asks why the meeting place was changed to that place. Shouta answers his phone. Chizuru loudly exclaims, “Kazehaya?! It’s me!” He hears her nearby and on the phone. Shouta looks around and asks where she is. Ayane has already pushed Chizuru down as she reprimands her for shouting too loud. Chizuru apologizes for not coming and that Ryu has suddenly become busy that he can’t come either. Note says that it’s the first time that Ryu has heard about this. Chizuru tells Shouta to tell this to Sawako even if they have already told her about it. “It seems that she doesn’t know what to do..so I’ll leave the rest to you. That’s how it is!” Shouta says yes. He then tells Sawako that Chizuru came and said she isn’t coming. Sawako thinks that she wasn’t able to explain things clearly to Shouta earlier. She realizes that her friends are helping her to explain things. Shouta then asks her if she is cold. “There is still some time before 12am so let’s go there where they give out sweet sake.” Sawako exclaims yes in agreement. She is surprised that now Shouta walks beside her. Sawako’s friends are happy about the outcome. Ryu realizes their plan and says that he wanted to talk something with Shouta but then, he’ll just let things be. They are interrupted when they hear a loud shout by someone who says the bonfire is quite bright. Ayane comments that there are idiots everywhere. While thinking of the sweet sake, Ryu then says isn’t that Shiro. The girls are shock that it is indeed Shiro. Shiro’s parents reprimand his outburst. They become tense since Shouta and Sawako are approaching that place and surely, Shiro will go to Shouta to greet him. They quickly grab Ryu and run off. [Ah, throughout the part when Ryu is with the girls, he kept on thinking about sweet sake.]
Shiro notices Shouta and Sawako together. Ayane quickly grabs Shiro’s arm and exclaims if it isn’t Shiro. Chizuru says it’s quite a concidence. Shiro exclaims he came with his parents. He then asks Ryu why he isn’t invited when all of them came. The girls are satisfied that Shiro didn’t see Shouta but they are shock when Shiro says that it seems he has just seen Shouta. Ayane tells him that Shouta said he couldn’t come so maybe he was just mistaken. Shiro asks if that is true. Chizuru shouts it is. Shiro says that maybe so since that person he saw is with a pretty girl. He thinks that Ayane likes him. The two girls are glad that Shiro is stupid. Chizuru looks back to the couple and then at Ayane as they are glad that Shouta and Sawako are now far away. Shiro asks if they should go drink some sweet sake and chat. Ayane shouts that she doesn’t like it so she doesn’t want to go. Ryu is sad about this as he notices some burn marks on his jacket caused by the bonfire. At the sweet sake booth, Shouta asks for two cups. The lady exclaims, “Two cups for the lovers.” Sawako blushes as Shouta gives her a cup of sake. Sawako thanks him. While blushing, she thinks that it just made her happy being mistaken as lovers and she wonders if Shouta is irritated because of it and maybe she is the only one who is thinking of it. Shouta puts the cup on his face and says that it’s quite warm. She didn’t notice that Shouta is also blushing. Sawako says that it is delicious. Shouta takes a sip and laughs that it is the first time he thought that sweet sake taste delicious. Sawako asks if he hates it before. Shouta smiles and says that it is more like he isn’t good in drinking it. Sawako smiles at him as she thinks that hearing that for the first time makes her happy and she wants to understand more the side of Shouta that she haven’t seen. “I want to see more of the Shouta that others don’t know.” She tells him that it is the first time she has heard him say that something happened to him for the first time. Sawako is surprised when Shouta tells her that she has already seen that before. He tells her that it is the first time for him to go to the shrine with just two of them [he usually goes with many people; not necessarily just with her.] “It is also the first time for me to buy a girl’s cellphone chain. And, it is also the first time for me to wear this belly warmer! Thanks to you, my stomach is quite warm.”
Sawako is totally shock and says that it is for her father. Shouta tells her that there’s no need to say that for now, it is his. Sawako blushes and thinks that it would have been better if she has given him the hat. She then thinks that it doesn’t matter since Shouta accepted the gift and even used it. Shouta then asks her about her email address. The two then exclaims at the same time, “Can you give me your email address?!” Sawako quickly tries to get her cellphone from her back and says that she’ll send him an email though it might take time since it’s her first time to type. Shouta holds her cup for her and says that it’s alright, she can take her time. She thinks that there are many things that she wants to say to him yet she doesn’t know how to say it. “It would be nice if there’s a way for me to tell him all of my heart’s feelings.” Sawako is trying to type as she makes mistakes and even deleting the message. He tells her that he somewhat regrets that he didn’t ask her about it [email] that time and he should just have bravely asked her about it. Sawako looks at him in surprise when Shouta gets her email. Sawako wrote that she wants to thank him for today and she is really happy to be with him. Shouta laughs at her email since it is Sawako.not.Sadako then it is 1-2-3 and back to 1. Sawako nervously wonders if she failed in making an email. Shouta suddenly realizes something. He looks at her and asks when her birthday is. Sawako says, “..Today..” This made Shouta blush and look at his watch. There are 15 minutes more left before it’s over. He then says, “..Happy birthday to you! If I knew it earlier on then I would have given you something.” Sawako blushes and says that she already got it. “I know something that I don’t know about Kazehaya before. Knowing Kazehaya’s first..as well as..I was born at this time.” Sawako thinks, “The moment I turn 16, you are with me.” Shouta blushes as the two smiled at each other. It’s 11:45. 16 years old. There’s 15 minutes left before New Year. Elsewhere, Ayane gloomily thinks to Sawako up to when she is going to hang on to Shiro. Chizuru feels sorry for Ayane. Shiro is happy about it. Ryu wants some sweet sake.
While walking, Shouta asks Sawako what’s her childhood is like. Sawako says that it is a normal childhood. Shouta says that he wants to know what happened before until she is now 16 years old. Sawako says isn’t it boring since nothing special happened. Shouta says that even if it’s boring, he wants to listen to it. He smiles and says “..Tell me!” She tells him that she was born with 3000 grams weight. She tells him the section of her class when she was four years old. Her cousin starts to call her a zashiki-warashi [child-like spirit which brings fortune to a house but if it leaves, the place will become unlucky.] A flashback of her cousin ordered her to bring him some water and she quickly obeyed him. She narrates again the different sections [based on plants] of her classroom during elementary. Shouta asks what she likes to do then. After thinking a while, Sawako says that she likes to jump rope even though she is all alone. There are some flashbacks of Sawako playing alone happily. She is doing a happy pose when she suddenly thinks that it would seem gloomy since she is all alone then. She becomes nervous why she happily says it like that. Shouta says that is not true for when she said it, it seems that she is happy to be alone but when he started talking to her, he notices that no matter what Sawako does, it’s fun for her and it make him think that she is an expert in finding fun things to do. Sawako thinks that is how he thought of her. Shouta asks her what happened next. She is about to tell him her junior high when she was 12 but Shouta says that she already said that. Sawako says she then took an exam into Kitahoro High which is near her house. She thinks then, on the spring when she is 15 years old, she met him. While remembering the past, she thought that if she becomes a person like Shouta, will she also change. Shouta notices that she stopped walking. Sawako tells him that this year it is totally different. She apologizes for talking a lot and it was quite boring and she hopes that she can change her impression next year. Shouta tells her that she has changed for the better since she has become more talkative. “..it’s alright!” Sawako remembers him telling that to her before when they are with Maru the dog. Sawako says that if he said it like that she will.. She then tries to stop herself from crying else she’ll ruin Ayane’s make-up on her. Shouta smiles and says, “The truth is..my first impression on you is quite good..weren’t you smiling during the school’s opening as you showed me the way to school? Then, after we become classmates, I never saw that smile again..I had been always curious as to what kind of person you are.” Sawako thinks that she never thought that he remembered the first time they met.
Shouta continues, “Even if I think that you’re not bad but compared to what I thought..and also.. you changed a lot today that I’m quite shock.” This is a big blow at Sawako as she apologizes for she doesn’t want him to be shock. Shouta quickly says that isn’t what he meant but it’s interesting/meaningful. Sawako asks what it is. Shouta is already blushing that he quickly tells her that they go to the shrine to pray since it will be New Year soon. While walking, Sawako remembers Ayane’s question as to why she wants to become cute. “There is only one answer. Before, I really wanted to become someone like Kazehaya but now, I want to make Kazehaya to think that I have become a little cute.” Shouta thinks that Sawako has made his feelings quite complicated. Elsewhere, Chizuru and Ryu looks at gloomy Ayane who is still holding on to happy Shiro. Ryu asks Chizuru up to when Ayane is going to do that. Chizuru says she doesn’t know and maybe until Shiro gets tired of Ayane. Ryu sighs and bids Shiro goodbye. Ryu wants some sake. Shiro bids him goodbye. Chizuru calls out to Ryu to wait. Ryu tells Shiro that his jacket must be new but then, there are many burned marks already from the bonfire on it. This freaks out Shiro as Ryu bids them goodbye. Chizuru angrily shouts that they are going to pray at the shrine and it’s not easy to get there. Ayane urges Chizuru to go ahead since she hasn’t explained to Ryu what is going on yet they grabbed Ryu and brought him there. She says that if Chizuru didn’t go then they might quarrel again. Chizuru apologizes and says that she’ll treat Ayane to a bowl of ramen next time. She runs off as Ayane exclaims anything but ramen else she’ll become fat. Chizuru manages to catch up with Ryu. She reprimands him for going away on his own. Ryu apologizes and says that it is really boring that he isn’t interested to hang around like that. Chizuru exclaims that it would be better if he becomes a bit cute. She then tells him to say ‘Chi’ = smile. [as taught to her by Tooru] Ryu says he doesn’t want to. Chizuru shouts why not. Ryu tells her that no matter what happens to Sawako or meeting someone they know, Shouta will be there to think of something. “Don’t mind them. You guys already did a good thing.” Chizuru can only mutter that what he said is right. Ryu says, “And also..essentially, there is nothing to worry about, right? Those two’s progress seems to be going smoothly.” Chizuru sees what Ryu has seen – Sawako and Shouta together as they go to the main shrine to pray. Ryu and Chizuru smile at each other. Ryu then says, “So, I’ll just go drink some sake then I’ll come back.” Chizuru grabs him and says, “What are you saying? Let’s pray at the shrine.”
3, 2, 1, everyone greets each other a Happy New Year. Shouta and Sawako greet each other a happy new year. Shouta tells her to take care of him this year, too. Sawako also tells him that. Then, Sawako’s phone rings. She gets emails from Ayane and Chizuru who greets her, a new year and for her to take care of them. Shouta tells her to reply back. Shouta thinks that someone else is one step early in writing an email but it’s alright since because of them, he is really happy. Her friends get the same reply with thanks at the end of the message. Sawako thinks that last year, there are a lot first time for her this year. “I have thought of a lot of things. I have all sorts of experience. It is all because I met everyone. It’s a year that I’ll never forget. Thank you everyone.” At the shrine, Sawako and Shouta reads how to pray [after putting in the money offering, ring bell once, bow twice, clap while thinking of your wish then bow once.] Sawako prays. Afterwards, Shouta says that it is slippery there. He holds out his hand as she walks past the slippery area. Elsewhere, Ryu tells Chizuru that his brother will be coming home on New Year’s day together with his girlfriend. Chizuru looks at him and says that he still haven’t remembered her name, wasn’t she called Ayase. She tells him to be livelier and at least remember the name of his future sister-in-law. Ryu thinks that Chizuru has read through him. Chizuru says that she will go to their place when they arrive. Chizuru rings the bell and tells Ryu that if he is upset about anything, until then, she’ll go and comfort him. Ryu smiles and says that until then, he’ll leave it up to her. Back to Shouta and Sawako, they get a fortune. It is a ‘very lucky’ fortune for Shouta. It advises him to take things easy and not to be impatient. While reading his luck in love, Sawako opens her fortune. To her shock, it is a ‘bad luck’ fortune. She cries and thinks that it is all because lately, she’s too greedy. She then notices the love fortune – Things are now excellent between you and person in your heart, there’s no need to be confused. Shouta says that getting a ‘bad luck’ is kind of lucky since it is quite rare. Sawako exclaims if that is so. She then ties the fortune on the tree. [so that the bad luck won’t befall on her]
Sawako is surprised when Shouta gives his fortune to her. She refuses at first because she might take away Shouta’s good luck. Shouta says that it’s alright because his fortune/luck is very strong. “And..let me say..is that I really wanted to give it to you..although it will be quite lame to make it as your birthday gift.” This surprises Sawako and she accepts the fortune. “Thank..thank you!” She wonders if she will be confused and right now, she thinks that she doesn’t know when it started, when she starts to think if this is love and why she begins to long to look at Shouta.” Shouta notices her looking at him. He smiles which made Sawako blush. At the shrine, Ayane prays to negate everything that happened between her and Shiro that New year. Ayane is finally free when Shiro’s parents got him off her as they apologize to her about their foolish son. Then, she notices Sawako and Shouta together. She thinks that their mood is quite good and looking at them like that, they look like lovers. Ayane then notices someone causing a commotion about drinking sake. She thinks that there’s another idiot there. It is Pin who is angry that Tooru should be there to cover for him. He is really angry that Tooru has decided to spend New Year with his girlfriend. Obviously, he is just jealous that Tooru is getting married. He then notices a couple of guys trying to pick up a girl – why are you alone when you are very cute. He glares at the guys so that they won’t succeed. Ayane thanks him. Pin is shock that it is her. Ayane is shock that he was the one who was making a commotion early on. Pin exclaims that he isn’t interested with brats. Ayane shouts who’ll like him and she’s going home. Pin shouts that she’s going home, too. They walk away quarrelling. Sawako wonders what will this year be like. Shouta walked her home and then bids her goodbye. Sawako thanks him and says that she was really happy. Shouta smiles and says that he is also happy. “See you next time.” Sawako says yes and tells him to take care on his way home. Shouta walks a bit then looks back to see Sawako still standing there looking at him. While walking away, Shouta thinks about being impatient and wonders how much he can restrain himself. He wonders if he doesn’t have self-confidence. He remembers his love fortune – Dedicate your love then you’ll be happy. Sawako holds on to Shouta’s fortune and thinks, “ ‘Classmate’, ‘Next door boy’, ‘The person I like’..but..not really a ‘friend’..” She remembers her fortune. “Compare to a friend, yet still seems to be quite far away. Compared to a friend, I have become greedier.”
So, that’s how they spend their Christmas and New Year. Hehe..it does seem that the main couple needs some help from others for things to progress between them. =P Hehe, with all the hints and everything, the two are still clueless about each other’s feelings. I guess it is a case wherein for everyone it is so obvious yet for those involved, it isn’t. Ayane seems to be trying to make Sawako to do things herself that is why she tells her to invite Shouta herself. Also, I guess with the two’s current situation, it is better not to get others to know what’s happening else, things will be ruined for the two. I feel sorry for her but do admire her dedication to bear it with Shiro just for Sawako. I wonder if she’ll end up with Pin or Shiro. =P She’s the only one without a pair since Chizuru and Ryu are getting along quite fine. I think Sawako is such a nice kid. She doesn’t get mad when her father has mistaken that gift as his. She tends to be a bit too considerate of others that she wasn’t able to tell others what she really wanted.

At the flower shop, Momo’s sister is calling out to him. She sighs and complains that she has already asked someone else to do the errand. “You always go out lately. Where could you be going?” Momo is walking at a path into the forest. There is a carriage coming from behind. Momo complains that the slope is quite long and could it be what they call a mountain path. When the carriage catches up to him, Felten, together with Elenore, are riding in it. Felten invites him to ride with them. Momo accepts the invitation. Felten says that going to that place isn’t easy. “Vivi should have just stayed close to the city.” Momo asks the two if they live in the city. Felten says that he also lives outside of the city. Momo asks, “You guys..and that person..Mr. Vivi..have been acquaintances for a long time?” Felten says, “Yes, even before we get to know about things, we are already friends. Are you interested in things regarding Vivi?” Momo says that he isn’t but rather because he wants to know why Hana and that person are very close to each other. Felten laughs and says, “So that’s it. The one whom you are interested with is Hana.” While blushing, Momo denies this. “It is because that strange guy is there so I’m a bit worried.” With a slight smile and serious look, Felten asks, “No matter what you learn afterwards, you will still like Hana, right?” Elenore looks somewhat serious. Momo is puzzled by that question. Felten says, “Oh dear..does it need to be asked. What I meant is I will support your courtship.” Momo blushes and loudly says that he is wrong. Felten just laughs.
At Vivi’s castle, Hana is holding a flower while the cat is following her behind. Hana tells it that she has finished her homework so they are now going to Vivi’s room. She then notices some black bubbles/hole opening from the floor. Kraus comes out and says, “How are you, Miss? It has been a long time and you still have that stupid look.” Hana quickly takes a book and tries to push him back into the hole. This made Kraus shout, “Hey, stop that! What are you doing? Quickly stop it!” While pressing the book down on him, Hana exclaims, “You’re here again to cause trouble for me and Vivi! Why don’t you just go back!” Kraus curses as he realizes that Hana is on to him now. Kraus shouts that is enough. Hana shouts for him to go back. Kraus manages to get out of the hole as Hana stands farther from him in a defensive pose with her book. Kraus asks her what’s with that attitude of hers. Hana notices cat ears and tail on Kraus. Hana exclaims, “The thing regarding cats is already over. Could it be that Kraus, you like cats?” Kraus angrily shouts that he isn’t doing this because he likes it. “During Christmas, I was able to change Vivi into a cat, right now, I can also do it! How vexing! Although it’s already the past, but for me, right now can also be a progress!! Ah—you guys are so irritating!!” [Sorry, I actually don’t quite get it. I guess he is angry that his plans are foiled before and he can still use ‘cat theme’ to defeat Vivi. Actually, I thought that he became like that as punishment for his failure before ^^; nanaga's theory is that it is because of the cat bomb so maybe Michel wasn't able to totally turn Kraus back to normal so he wants revenge.] Looking at Kraus’ cat ears, Hana thinks, “But, I also want to have cat ears.” Kraus pauses when he sees that longing look on Hana’s face. Kraus says, “You want to have cat ears, right?” Thinking that he’ll give her a headband with cat ears, Hana exclaims, “Yes!” She is surprised when Kraus tosses something into her mouth.
Hana has swallowed it. She asks, “What is that? Candy?” Kraus picks up the cat and says that he’ll give it half of the pill. Kraus tells Hana, “As you wish, from now on, you will become a cat.” Hana is puzzled. Poof! Hana becomes the cat and the cat becomes Hana. Hana looks at herself then becomes nervous when she sees herself. “Hana is here?!” She becomes tense when she hears Kraus laughing. Kraus says, “This cat-human exchange medicine pill is designed by Michel. This is just a vicious revenge against Vivi who always made a fool out of me!” Kraus thinks, “Wait and see, Vivi! The Miss whom you like has become that cat which you dislike so much! This time, I’ll win!!” While walking away, Kraus says, “Haha..I’m so happy!” Nervous cat-Hana thinks, “I can’t talk!!” Hana-cat picks up the flower and goes to the opposite direction. Cat-Hana looks right and left as she thinks, “That? Ah? Cat, where are you going?! Ah..what should I do..I’m really worried about cat!” She then follows Cat-Hana. In Vivi’s room, Hana-cat looks at Vivi and blushes. Hana-cat sits on Vivi’s lap and puts the flower on Vivi’s head. Vivi looks up and says, “What is it? You seem to be quite docile today that you sit here.” Cat-Hana thinks, “No, Vivi. That isn’t Hana..” To Cat-Hana’s shock, Hana-cat hugs Vivi. “Ah!! Cat you cannot!!” Holding on to Hana-cat, Vivi asks, “Why are you holding on to me?” A note seems to say that the cat is just imitating Hana. Cat-Hana quickly runs off and thinks, “Hana will absolutely not lose! Flower! That’s right, I have to bring a flower back!” She jumps up the table and takes a flower from the bouquet of flowers on the vase. Holding the flower on her mouth, Cat-Hana happily thinks that she got one. Tony sees the cat then shoos it away saying that it cannot do that. Tony is puzzled as he looks at the vase. He thinks that it seems quite docile today and what could have happened. Cat-Hana happily runs off with the flower as she plans to give it to Vivi. She becomes gloomy when the flower withers on her way to the room. “So that’s it. Cat is a cat from the akuma world so the flower would also wither.”
She goes back to Vivi’s room and is shock to see Hana-cat sleeping on Vivi’s lap. Vivi thinks that it’s really troublesome. Cat-Hana thinks, “Sleeping at his lap, this is something that even I, Hana have not experienced yet!” She starts meowing to tell Vivi to quickly stop doing that. Vivi shoos her away while looking dark. “Do not come near me in a cat’s body! Quickly leave! It’s irritating!” This shocks Cat-Hana. She sadly leaves the room. Graves is laughing his head off as he exclaims, “Vivi, that guy, has just let a cat sleep on his lap! Then, he has driven you away! Ah..this is so much fun that it hurts!” In the room, Hana-cat suddenly opens its eyes. It stands up and goes away. A note says that it is fickle. Vivi sighs and then looks serious at the direction where it went. In a different part of the castle, Tony greets the visitors. “What a surprising group!” Felten, Elenore and Momo greet him. Felten asks if Vivi is in the [study?] room. Holding Felten’s hat, Tony says that he is. Momo looks at the pictures on the wall. He points to one wherein Vivi and Tony are sitting on the sofa surrounded by the servants. Tony is holding a baby. Momo asks if the baby in the picture is Hana. Tony says that he is right and it is taken to commemorate the time when Miss Hana arrive..er..was born. Momo exclaims that she is so small. With tears in his eye, Tony points out the picture when Hana is 4 years old then another when she is 7 years old. “She’s very cute, right! In order for Miss Hana who doesn’t have parents not to feel lonely, we, the servants, lovingly care for the miss as if she is our own daughter.” Looking at the group picture when Hana is still a baby, Momo thinks that it is similar. “Why does it seem to look strange? Huh? This?” Tony quickly notices this and tells him that Miss Elenore and Mister Felton are already far away. Momo apologizes and quickly runs off to chase the others. Tony sighs in relief as he thinks that it is quite dangerous and they are almost exposed. “Maybe I should take the pictures down.”
Momo has catches up with the others and they are now walking at the outer hallway facing the garden. Cat-Hana is sadly walking. She thinks, “What should I do. If this continues on, then no one will notice. Perhaps I can’t change back to my original form.” Felten greets the cat. Cat-Hana sadly looks up and thinks, “Felten. Elenore. Momo.” She starts crying and thinks, “I’m sorry. Because I want to have cat ears so right now, I can’t talk. So, please, all of you go back. Being like this, I cannot talk to Vivi, Felten and the others..I’m so lonely..” Felten picks it up and laughs as he asks, “What’s the matter?” Elenore says that maybe it is in pain so it is crying. Felten tells her that he doesn’t know how to treat animals. Momo looks out the garden and sees ‘Hana’/Hana-cat sleeping underneath the tree. He wonders what she is doing there. He goes to ‘her’ and asks, “Why are you sleeping there?” Hana-cat is sleeping soundly. He thinks that scene doesn’t look bad. He then sits beside ‘her’ and blushes as he looks at ‘her’ sleeping. In Vivi’s room, Vivi asks, “Hey, Felten, who allowed you to bring that cat here?” Crying Cat-Hana is sitting in between Felten and Elenore who are sitting at the opposite sofa. Felten says, “It seems that it won’t stop crying. It’s quite pitiful.” Using her handkerchief to dry the cat’s eyes, Elenore says, “Perhaps it has some sort of illness.” Vivi looks annoyed. He stands up and says, “What illness?” He picks Cat-Hana up and says, “So..you really are a cry baby!” This surprises Cat-Hana. Vivi returns her to Felten and sighs. He says, “It’s the same as usual, still troublesome. To stop the crying, just change back to the original form. Hey, are you satisfied! Come out already, Kraus!” This surprises Kraus. He goes in front of the door and shouts, “Damn..I’m discovered?!”
Vivi sighs and says, “Because dealing with you is quite troublesome so I pretend that I didn’t know.” Kraus exclaims, “How did you know?!” Vivi says, “Idiot, when you came into the house, I have already felt your akuma presence.” Elenore asks what that guy is doing. Felten looks at the cat and asks if it is Hana. Cat-Hana meows. Kraus cannot believe it. Vivi exclaims, “First of all, do you think that I cannot distinguish between Hana and the cat?” Cat-Hana is in tears [of joy] when she hears this. Poof! She returns back to normal. That surprises Felten. Hana quickly runs to Vivi and hugs him. Vivi tells her that it’s alright as he pats her head. Hana exclaims that she was really scared. Vivi says, “So next time, do not drink any of Michel’s strange medicines.” Looking at Kraus, Vivi says, “..eh, Kraus? What kind of get-up is that? Isn’t it already over? Until when do you plan to remove that cat ears and such.” Kraus angrily shouts, “Damn! I actually like this!!” Vivi says, “Is that so.” Looking dark, Kraus says, “So..you knew from the very start, huh? Pretending that you were tricked? You always treated me like a fool..I really don’t want to use my hands..” This surprises Vivi. Holding his hands up and ready to pounce on Vivi, Kraus says, “Understand this..I’m currently a cat..” Vivi nervously says, “Ah..wait..” Kraus pounces on Vivi as Vivi exclaims in dread. “Stop joking around! Damn! Quickly get off me!” Kraus laughs and says, “Are you afraid? Am I really scary, Vivi!” The girls just stare at them as Felten laughs that Kraus has snapped. Hana then says, “Ah..speaking of that, has cat returned back to normal?” In cue, Momo is running while shouting that something bad has happened. He looks frantic as he opens the door while carrying the cat. “Hana..she suddenly turned into a cat right in front of me!” He then freezes when he sees Vivi and Kraus fighting in mid-air with their wings out. They all stare at him. Cat ears = Kraus. Wings = Vivi. Why are they in mid-air? Hana is there. Momo promptly faints as Felten and Hana calls out to him. Momo’s narration: “Ah..so that’s it. I now know the reason why I thought that picture feels strange. It is because everyone expect for Hana looks the same as they currently are now. It is like everyone hasn’t aged at all.”
And so, that is how Momo knows the truth about Vivi. It did took him long enough to realize what’s wrong with the pictures. I think it’s already pretty obvious to everyone that he like Hana. I wonder if Felten is serious about supporting Momo in wooing Hana or is he just joking. It made me think that Felten disapproves of Hana-Vivi maybe because of they are different and they will be in a lot of hardship/pain later on but then, I thought, he has been helping the two before. Hm..but then, maybe because he’s a ladies’ man and he doesn’t want Hana to be sad. Maybe we’ll learn about it more later on. I think it’s nice that Vivi knows that the cat is Hana. Even if he is pretending and everything, it does seem a bit mean to Hana for making her endure that. Maybe it is also to teach Hana a lesson to not trust others too much or about wanting to have cat’s ears. ^^; Hehe..they are complaining why Vivi leaves far away from the city, I think aside from not wanting others to know about who he really is, it is because Vivi is a loner-type. =P Well, they have a lot of explaining to do when Momo wakes up in the next chapter. Sad looking Lele looks at Eros who asks her, “What’s the matter with you?” Flashback: Marshall asked Angus, “You’re not happy, right? The truth is how the ‘palace’s prince’ passes his days isn’t like some kind of beautiful fantasy like most people think! I have been in this profession too long, I have seen a lot of ‘foul interior beneath a fair exterior’* lives of the aristocrats/big shots. [* It’s an idiom. The other variation is ‘all that glitters is not gold’ or ‘There may be skeletons in the closet’] My impression is..‘the higher in society, the lower the morals’.” Angus has a blank look while Lele is surprised/tense about this conversation. Marshall continued, “A lot of despicable things that are secretly done continue on underneath since they are all totally covered up by money and ‘power & influence’.” While the other models are caressing Angus, he remembered his past. His father told him, “Madame Mode* really likes you. [*I’ll be using Mode rather than Mandai since Mandai seems to Chinese and she doesn’t look Chinese =P] She wants you to go visit her again this weekend!” Then, there is a sex scene with Madame Mode on top of Angus and exclaiming “Angus darling, you are really great..” Marshall said, “I have seen that kind of life wherein the parents control the child’s life and finally, in the end, the child could no longer endure the madness of the ‘head of the household*’ [*one who manages the household affairs]..” Angus’ father is holding a pipe told him, “You did well, son! Madame Mode’s husband is a legislator in congress. With Madame Mode’s assistance, my path in taking part/getting a position in the government will now go about smoothly.” A finger points at Angus and said, “Remember this! In the Lanson family..there is no need for someone who is useless and of no value!” End flashback. Angus has a sad-blank look as he starts to imagine that the model caressing him is Madame Mode. This made Angus feel ill that he quickly pushed the model away and shouted, “Go away!” The model apologized and asked what she did wrong.
Everyone looked surprised by this outburst except for Marshall who looked pleased. He clapped his hand and told everyone that is enough for now and they’ll take a break. “Let’s prepare for the next scene!” The other models comfort the model that Angus pushed away. She is in tears. Lele looked tense and worried at distressed Angus. She thought, “This is the first time I’ve see Angus lost control of his emotions...” She goes to him and said, “Hey..are you alright? You look really tired!” Lele thought, “I unconsciously blurted out in Chinese..my intuition tells me that using this language can help him relax despite the fact that he doesn’t want to use Chinese whenever he chats with me..” Lele asked, “Do you want to lie down?” Looking at Angus’ distraught face, Lele thought, “His eyes really looks confused..What kind of memories did he remembered from what Marshall said?” Angus pulled her hand and made her sit on the sofa. He then put his head on her lap = lap pillow. With his eyes closed, Angus said, “Can you call me ‘Long’?” Lele said, “Long..” Lele thought, “It seems that his Chinese name is Long! Removing his ‘playboy/rich kid*’ expression, right now, he unexpectedly looks quite indecisive and helpless--” [*It’s an idiom for gorgeous young people who just merry their time away and has no work] Lele gently massages Angus’ forehead/sides of his head. Lele said, “It’s comfortable, right! Before whenever I’m tired, Grandma will massage me like this! It only takes 10 minutes! Then, when you open your eyes, you will feel quite relaxed and refreshed!” Angus held Lele’s hand as he opened his eyes. This surprises Lele as she blushes a bit. To her surprise, Angus held her head then pulls her down to kiss her. After he let her go, he said, “Thank you--” End flashback.
Lele’s thoughts: “When I immediately opened my eyes, I realized..for just a second, Yin and Long’s image had overlapped in my heart at the same time--! How can this be? I obviously like the elder brother, so how could I have felt something when I kissed the younger brother? Could it be that in that moment, their eyes look the same? *cries* Nonsense! They are twins, of course they are the same! *bang* [hitting the post with her head] Damn it! Could it be that I’m a wishy-washy super player/playgirl! I should just die! *bang*” Sweatdropping, Eros says, “I have no objection if you want to hit your head on the wall/post but do you have to choose my house?” Lele looks at him with imaginary blood on her forehead. Eros drops his fork and asks, “Actually, why did you come to see me? Since you entered in, you didn’t say anything and you just kept on staring at me. What is the meaning of all that?” Eros has just finished eating. Like a dog, Lele suddenly jumps on top of the table and continue on staring at him. Eros starts to feel uncomfortable with all the staring. Eros quickly stands up and takes his plate into the kitchen. Lele follows him. While washing the dishes, Lele sits down and stares at him. Lele thinks, “That right! The two of them just look the same outside but in all other aspects, they are not the same! There’s no way for Angus to cook and wash the dishes by himself! Angus will also not have that ‘not used to people staring at him’ look!” Eros looks uncomfortable that he walks away again with Lele following him. At the bathroom, looking ill and angry Eros shouts, “Idiot! Are you also going to follow me in even while I take a dump!” Eros then slams the door. Lele blushes and cries. She mentally thinks, “Angus, son of an upper class family will absolutely not shout out ‘take a dump’, that kind of vulgar words! (Princes and Princesses do not use toilets!) No wonder you are my bum!” With a glass on the door to listen inside, Lele thinks, “Ah..he is taking a long time! Could he be conveniently taking a bath..? There’s the sound of water.” An arrow points to Lele saying this girl can also be quite low..”
Eros comes out in a bathroom while drying himself with a towel. Lele goes into fangirl mode as she mentally exclaims, “Oh Oh~~ So Sexy!!!♥” Eros goes into the bedroom. He turns around to see Lele still following him. She has this ‘puppy look’ on her face. Eros goes in bed and says, “I’m really tired today so I don’t have the energy to argue with you regarding your strange behavior! Don’t you want to go home?” Lele didn’t answer as she just kept looking at him. Eros pulls up the blanket and says, “Then, come up here! I know that by tomorrow when I wake up, the doubts/hesitation in my heart will all be swept away.” Somewhere else in New York [I think since there is a Peter Luger Steakhouse in the scene], Feidna and Wheeler has just finished their shooting. Wheeler is dressed up as a vampire who just bit Feidna on the neck. Feidna tells someone that it is all finally over and in this shooting, they wasted a lot of time so she is really tired. [I think from the make-up and special effects] A glasses guy says that in the final outcome, the effect is really nice. Feidna then notices Wheeler watching a fashion show on the television. Feidna asks, “You’re watching Angus fashion show on video again? You’re really the most diligent model that I had ever met! Do you really regard that guy as a major threat?” Wheeler looks at her and says, “Such a beautiful person, how can he be a threat?” This surprises Feidna. She asks, “Could it be that you..” Wheeler admits that he does like Angus. Feidna asks if he likes him then why he treats Angus like a sworn enemy. Wheeler tells her, “Because..only in this kind of competition I can win against him, then I’ll be able to protect him!”
I guess the author has cranked up the maturity theme in this series. From just this chapter, we now know why Angus turned out that way. I think he was around 17 then. What his father did made me sick in the stomach. I can now guess why the father picked Angus rather than Eros. It is because Eros would most likely defy him and he won’t be able to control Eros just like how he did Angus. I think Angus is their mother’s favorite and I think that is why she became crazy like that. I’m sure she knows what her husband would do to Angus so she worried about him so much that she forgot all about Eros. Actually, if the father can do that to the son, I fear what other things he could have done to their mother that she ended up like that aside from the reason that Angus is being taken away from her. Unlike Eros who has Stanley later on after that traumatic experience, Angus doesn’t have anyone. It made me wonder if Eros knows all about this. Is this the reason why Angus tried to commit suicide before? So, since he found Eros again, Angus became ‘obsessive’ about him. I wonder if he became a model around that time, too. He does seem to be ‘partially’ free from his father since he can refuse going to that party before. If Lele ‘takes’ Eros away then he will be all alone again. It is interesting though how the twins are also different after that kind of past. Eros tends to shut out everyone while Angus tends to ‘accept’ everyone as if looking for love aside from wasting his life away. I wonder if Angus remembered his mother in Lele during that time when she comforted him. I guess Angus got more than what he bargained for when he was curious as to how much can Marshall see through him. The guy is really good. Then, Lele acted like a dog throughout the later half. Actually, I think the author just used that part to make the chapter not to ‘serious’ and ‘depressing’. Actually, if I were Eros, I would also get creep out by what Lele is doing. Hm..it seems that the love triangle will be Angus-Yang-Wheeler. Actually, it’s becoming a love polygon and things do seem getting a bit complicated. When Wheeler said about protecting Angus, I wonder if he knew of Angus’s past or he meant something else. I guess Feidna will be back in the story again. The author made me forget all about the magazine picture. Will that play a part in the story later on? After Yamamoto finishes Ayon, Halibel’s underlings attack him in Bleach [c. 339]. Yamamoto just fries them as they all fall down. Seeing that her underlings go down, Halibel unzips her blouse to show number 3 on her right breast. Hitsugaya comments about Halibel being number 3 yet that’s the level of her power. Halibel tells him that he hasn’t seen anything yet. This made Hitsugaya quickly go into bankai mode in order to block Halibel’s attack. As ice shatters all over the place, Stark comments that Shunsui’s group is strong. Stark says that he plans to run off and wait for the fight to finish but it seems that he can’t do that. Shunsui is glad about that comment. He then gives a rough estimate of the three’s powers. He says that Halibel is the third strongest and he would like to think that Barragan is the most powerful and Stark is the second strongest but it seems he is not. Stark apologizes and says that he is indeed the first. He removed his gloves to show his 1 mark at the back of his hand. Shunsui becomes serious as he comments that that this will be hard. Stark also looked serious. The last scene is Ichigo finally arriving and got wounded on the shoulder by Ulquiorra. Yay, Stark is number 1. ^^ In regards to numbering, I guess Barragan vs Soi Fong is the only good match in accordance to their number which is 2. I guess the author is planning to show the fights in accordance to the numbers, starting with 4 first. It looks like Yamamoto will just be back-up as in he’ll fight the enemy of whoever loses. Right now, it is Hitsugaya who is going to have a hard time.
Since Pain knows where Naruto is, he plans to leave the village in Naruto [c. 429]. The ANBU advised Tsunade to let Pain leave and then harden the village’s defense. Before Pain leaves, he mentions about Tsunade’s chakra on her feet as a defense against his technique. He starts to talk about his philosophy about conflicts and pain. This made Tsunade shout at him that they also know of pain. This made Pain stop and starts muttering about making them feel pain in order to know true peace. As Pain jumps away, Tsunade thinks that he is up to something. The long haired Pain takes Shizune’s soul[?] then retreats. Sakura is having a hard time healing everyone in the hospital. Fukasaku and Naruto learn about the death of one of the frogs that they realize that something is happening in Konoha. They prepare to head to Konoha. All of the other Pains are teleported by main Pain into the forest. Kanan is also there. Kanan tries to stop Pain/Nagato from using a technique which can shorten his lifespan but Nagato is being stubborn as he wants to make everyone experience pain. After the technique, there is only a huge crater in Konoha as most of the buildings are wiped out. Sakura is shock by what happened and calls out to Naruto to quickly come back. Then, it seems that Naruto and others have arrived as Pain felt a tremor/he fell down. The first thought in my mind is Pain just beat Sasuke to Konoha’s destruction. =P So much for his revenge unless he plans to wipe out all of the people, too. I can’t help but think that somehow Tsunade’s answering back at Pain has agitated Pain to do that. I actually think that Tsunade tends to shout back whenever she disagree with someone and it somehow provokes the other party to do something. It made me wonder if the 3rd Hokage is still alive, how he would handle the situation. Actually, Tsunade’s outbursts somewhat reminds me of Naruto who opens his mouth before actually thinking first. Regarding Sakura shouting for Naruto to come, hm..does she want him to see the destruction? Does she want a Pain vs Naruto? Is she just lonely/frustrated after the destruction? It feels awkward to me. ^^; So, it confirms that Nagato is indeed the one controlling the Pain-s. Geez, it’s another one of those powerful technique but shortens one’s life. Is Nagato suicidal or what? I wonder if he will be defeated against Naruto since he just used his most powerful attack and most of them already knows of his powers. I think it’s a bit doubtful for anyone to get through Nagato since he doesn’t listen to Jiraiya and Kanan. Hm..I wonder if Naruto can change Pain just like what he did to Gaara unless Nagato is meant to be a villain through and through. I think he becomes obsessed with pain after Yahiko died and he was ‘brainwashed’ by Madara. Actually, if they killed Pain, that will make Pain’s village against Konoha once again hence, the never-ending cycle of hate/revenge/pain.
Led by Momonga, Hancock is introduced to the people who are in charge of Impel Down in One Piece [c. 526]. Hannyabal likes to add ‘my’ in everything he says and there’s Domino, who is like a military woman. They tell her that they will lead her to Magellan who is in level 4. Domino informs her about the ‘hell water’ wherein prisoners are put in boiling water to sterilized them and that Ace, Jimbei and even Crocodile passed through it as if it’s nothing. Since Hancock is a guest, they will just do a check on her in a private room. Inside, Hancock petrifies Domino and the surveillance den-den mushi. She lets Luffy out her cape and tells him that this is the farthest that she can bring him. She tells him not to cause a commotion else he might not get out of there. Luffy thanks her and says that he’ll owe her for this. Hancock feels like swooning when Luffy said her name..it’s actually Hammock. ^^; Luffy tells her to de-pertrify the others. Hannyabal and Momonga are informed about no visuals at the inspection room. They check on it but Domino comes out with Hancock and tells them that the check is finished. The camera is back on so they all thought nothing about it. Hancock complains about being chained but they told her that is the procedure there. They are then going down on the elevator to reach level 4. Hancock wishes Luffy luck then she notices him giving her a thumbs-up sign and saying thanks. Hancock thinks he is saying I love you so she faints. Luffy then goes to find Ace using his vivre card. A group of execution-looking squad is called in to capture Buggy who has escaped. The other prisoners are happy about the torture that awaits Buggy since he tried to escape on his own.
Luffy manages to get into level 1 when the other guards opened the door as they try to capture Buggy. Luffy then passes by some prisoners who inform him that Ace is in level 5 and ask him to help them escape. The conversation is interrupted when Luffy is also chased by the bullgori [execution squad] along with Buggy. While the two are running, Buggy thinks that Luffy came to save him since Luffy came there on his own. Luffy says he doesn’t know what he is talking about and Buggy is making him break his promise with Hancock about not creating a commotion. There are also some bullgori in front of them. Luffy asks why they have to run. Buggy tells him that if they are captured then they are in for some torture. Luffy says he is in a hurry so all he has to do is to not get caught and since he already created a commotion.. Buggy complains that he hates Luffy and Shanks for being optimistic. He suggests that they just beat up the bullgori. Luffy agrees and so, the two team up as they punch the bullgori in front of them. Hm..it seems that this arc will be some sort of reunion of Luffy and other characters. I’m amused that Crocodile is in there, too. I’m sure he has an axe to grind at Luffy for being put in that situation. I wonder if the marines would suspect Hancock as the one who brought Luffy in. Hancock might be in trouble. This might be a long arc since Luffy is only in level 1. Hm..I wonder if Buggy will join Luffy temporarily when they get out of that place.
Bel uses his mink attack while Jill uses his storm based bat attack in Katekyo Hitman Reborn! [c. 223]. Olgelt’s attack is a water based elephant attack. Bel protected Fran. He then asks Fran where his box weapon is. It turns out that Fran wants to do some hero pose before using his attack but then, he can’t do it because the frog hat is hindering his movements for the pose. Their argument is interrupted when Jill says that he didn’t hold back his attack. He uses the bat sonic storm waves to cause Bel and Fran to fall down from massive internal bleeding. Varia’s underlings are then attacked by Olgelt’s elephant. Jill laughs that Varia is so weak and with Olgelt’s suggestion, they plan to destroy the castle. Squallo thinks that Bel and Fran have been defeated. With three water elephants heading to the castle, Squallo tries to contact the others and Lussuria. After destroying the castle, Jill laughs that Varia is defeated. Someone says that they are too noisy. They look down to see Xanxus sitting down on a chair and looking very gloomy/angry-serious? Well, he should be grumpy since he has been complaining about food to the underlings earlier. He might just vent his anger on those two. I think Bel and Fran should still be fine after all, if Fran replaced Mammon, he should be also an illusionist. He is so silly about insisting on the pose. I’m curious about his animal box. ^^
Haruhiko laughs at Shao who prepares to fight him in PSYREN [c. 52]. Shao has the last laugh when he defeats Haruhiko using his power and some taunting. Yoshina has been beating up Inui that Yoshina begins to wonder why Inui is taking in all of the blows. He finally learns why when Inui uses his shadow to make a monster which has all of Yoshina’s attacks programmed in but times 100 in strength. Before the monster could hit Yoshina, Kyle helps him out so that it will be 2 vs 2. So, the good guys are winning in this chapter. I wonder what about the next. =P

Reira rushes to Nana and says, “Nana, I’m sorry..” Shin pulls Reira’s hand and says, “Consider other people’s feelings! If Nana learns that Ren died because he is going to see her [Reira], what will she think?!” After getting angry like that, Shin leaves Reira. The side that Shin left is Takumi [or Takumi goes to Reira’s side] and Takumi uses this good timing to hug Reira. That photographer [Kurata?] -not those other two- is reprimanded by the editor about not getting a single picture. [Then there are some comments about Takumi’s hair if it is thinning or something. ^^;;] When Yasu arrived with Nana at the hotel, he is supporting her. Miu seems to be jealous or doesn’t want to see that so she left or stayed farther away from the place. Takumi is worried about the police investigating about the drugs but Yasu thinks that the police will just focus on the accident. There is no time to investigate. Yasu and Takumi talk about the cremation. Takumi said something that it is troublesome or to that effect so Yasu said if it’s troublesome then he’ll do it. It seems that Nana’s publication will be on hold. This is a hurried translation so there might be mistakes and it isn’t complete. Before Nana arrives, Nobu tells Hachi that Yasu is also not relaxed. For Nana, Hachi is important/essential and Nobu thinks that Hachi is also uncomfortable/in pain but he hopes for her to be there/to accompany Nana. At Nana’s side, she is thinking a lot about Hachi. When Nana’s car arrived, the media surrounded it. Nobu wanted Hachi to go out, Hachi did go. “Are you Takumi’s wife?” “If you want to talk to someone, then I talk to me. Do not inquire anything from Nana,” Hachi said with tears. Nana can’t quite move as she is hugged by Yasu as they enter. Miu and Shun [?] gets the luggage into the inn. Shun said that she must be with Yasu’s side. Miu said that at this time, she doesn’t want to be jealous. Hiyo! First of all, I want to you greet you all a Merry Christmas. ^^ I just got back this late afternoon. A bit tired. The trip is okay. Let’s see. On the 23th, we were actually late due to many circumstances. =P The flight is at 2:15 and we arrived around 1pm. We really thought that we won’t be able to catch the plane but thank God, the flight is delayed to 3pm. We ate lunch [actually snacks] at the airport. Then, after an hour flight, we arrived at Caticlan. We head out the small airport terminal. Outside, we have to pay various fees like the tricycle fee, environmental fee, etc. ^^; As my brother says, they make a killing from the various fees so be sure to bring some money aside from your pocket money. After the short tricycle trip, we are at a ship terminal. Then, there is another payment for the small boat to get to Boracay. After the boat ride, we were then fetched by the hotel’s staff in a small pick-up. Then, another long trip and we are finally at the hotel. It is 50 steps away from the beach. If you check in at a hotel in front of the beach, it is more expensive. It is already dark when we get there so all we did is just walk around then ate at some grill restaurant. We walked around the D’Mall which is just some small stores side-by side at a place. Mostly restaurants, souvenirs and beach wear are sold. The restrooms cost 5 pesos per use. Since we don’t hang out in the bar = nightlife, we decided to head back to the hotel and sleep. Hehe, but then, we [my mom and I] didn’t get to sleep because my niece and nephew wanted to sleep at our room instead with their parents. ^^; We are light sleepers and well, I find the mattress a bit hard. We are also careful about the door which we always have to keep close. But then, the others keep on leaving it open when they head to the other room. ^^; I managed to kill two mosquitoes. The kids shared their small mosquito patch of citronella oil to keep those mosquitoes away.
The next day, I ended up being bitten by a bed bug. ^^; My sis-in-law is already complaining about the place. Hehe, my brother is to blame but then, it’s cheaper than the others and the others are already booked by the time we are reserving so it’s pretty much no choice. After the free breakfast [I chose sunny side up eggs, orange juice [Tang = powdered orange drink], 2 longganisa (local sausages) but this one is shaped like meatballs, and garlic rice, we head to the beach and swim/stay in the water until lunch time. About going to the beach, before you can go to the nice soft sand + water, you have to pass by a barrier of shells and corals. It’s like trial/hardship before you get your reward. =P I like the shape/form of the sand underneath the water which is like small waves. It’s like Zen design. Then, we did see some fishes swimming by the seashore. It’s white with brownish red markings and at the top of the fin is yellowish. They aren’t scare of people that I actually wonder if they will bite. ^^; I think in going to beaches, it’s best to wear goggles because the salty water is quite painful to the eyes. The water level is quite low. People would usually stay at the part where it is just knee level. After lunch, we went island hopping. I changed my suit to a different one since I don’t like walking around in wet suit. Actually, I brought a lot of swimsuits which are borrowed from my sister and niece. =P The ones from my sister’s are borrowed last minute on that day. The last time I went to a beach was in year 99 and I got food poisoned afterwards. ^^; The island hopping isn’t too great. We head to a place where we are supposed to snorkel. We don’t know how so we just put on some life vest then look down the corals which are all black. The fishes are some small like cichlids. My brother says that the corals are dead/dying. He had seen better ones. When we got out, a sea ranger approaches us and charges us with a snorkeling fee. ^^; Geez, we didn’t actually do any snorkeling yet. Then, we head to Crystal Cave.
Going there is quite fun even if my niece and sis-in-law are screaming their heads off. The waves are quite high so the boat goes high up the wave then down. It’s like an amusement ride. I think that’s better than an airplane going down and up without knowing when it will happen. Then, at Crystal Cave, there is another fee. The island’s beach can’t be swum on since the surrounding area is rocky. We head in and take some pictures at some display structures outside. There are two caves here. We have to walk down the stairs to a cave created by the sea. During this time, the waves are really strong so one slip and you’re dead or badly injured. So, what did we see? It is just a crystal on top of some rock structure. I really thought it is some sort of rip-off because I think the crystal looks fake/phony. Maybe it is just not polished or something. Then, we head to the second cave. It is a long way there – going up and down some rocky hill. Then, it’s heading down a spiral staircase again. The water is already high – chest high. We went to the cave and it is just small structure with a little candle on it since it is too dark. That would be pretty boring for others but then, that scene reminded me of an arc [the last one] in Ghost hunt wherein they worship a similar type of object. The boatman said that we can crawl in some tunnel to see something else but we decline. We head back up and it turns out that there is a short cut at the back. ^^; It’s already pretty late so we head back to the main island.
My brother asks them to drop us at the end of the island station 1. You see, the island is divided into three sections 1-3. The cheapest part where there are many people is at 3. Then, at station 1, that is where the high class hotels and of course, fewer people are. [Edit the numbers, thanks beingmeyuki for the correction ^^] He just wants to show us a certain hotel, Discovery Shores, which has townhouse/condo-like rooms. It is really high class just by looking at it. We are at station 2. Then, we head back to our hotel to take a shower. It’s a long walk that at night my body is aching already. For the first time, I actually broke a glass in the hotel. ^^; It’s a good thing that they didn’t charge us anymore but then, they didn’t know about it. =P After that, we ate dinner at Aria, an Italian restaurant which is quite expensive. We are supposed to watch some fire dance at 10pm but then, we are already tired. So after walking a bit, we head back to the hotel. Of course, I don’t know if my brother and his wife head out while we were sleeping. Well, it’s hard to sleep when my bed partner is doing some kicks/trying to invade my space. =P At least there is no new bedbug bite, maybe because we had the sheets changed. The next day, another breakfast – toast, bacon, scrambled eggs, and chocolate drink [just Milo = chocolate milk powder drink]. While my niece had her hair braided and henna-tattoo along with her mother, we head to the beach again for an hour. My brother just stayed at the hotel because his cough has gotten worse. The waves are stronger but then, the water level is much lower than yesterday. The fishes are still there. The water seems clearer today and with the sun, it’s sparkling, too. ^^ Someone told my brother that this is already a peak season, I guess that is why there are a lot of people = a bit dirtier = environmental fee earlier. ^^; I saw a lot of cigarette butts on the floor. The whole strip of the place is filled with bars, restaurants and vendors. I kind of think the place isn’t aimed for family since the people here are mostly lovers and friends.
Anyway, after lunch, we head back to the hotel then ride back to the boat terminal via hotel pick-up. My sis-in-law opted to ride a larger motorboat back since she is dizzy from the small boat ride before. We had a porter to help carry the bags since my brother is already sick. Then, we rode a tricycle and we finally arrived at the small airport. We waited for an hour for the airplane to arrive. I had brought some playing card so we played to pass the time. The plane arrived a bit late but then, we arrived on time with a bit of turbulence. Finally, my sister and family fetch us and home sweet home. Hopefully, I’ll get a nice sleep tonight. ^^ Anyway, since I’m tired, I can’t guarantee that there will be a summary tomorrow. Hope your Christmas was better ^^
Oh ya, there’s a quick summary of Ouran High Host Club 67. I just browse through it so here goes: Tamaki learns from Haruhi that they will have a ‘orienteering’ contest within the school wherein the winner will get to have a member of the host club for a day. Kuze wants Kyouya. Ritsu want Haruhi to date her. Some athletic people want Mori and Honey. Some girls want to date the host club members. Megumi tells Tamaki that if he isn’t interested, he shouldn’t join. Haruhi notices this and says some things to Tamaki. Then, she said to others about curry contest, I think. Tamaki decides not to argue and just go along even if he knows that they are planning something. I think the mechanics is to win a game against each host member/guest then pick the ingredients for the curry if they win a game. The first game is to guess which one is Hikaru and which one is Kaoru. Tamaki guesses right and picks some weird ingredients [peach and umeboshi (pickled plum usually put in onigiri)] to Megumi’s shock. The second one is Nekozawa which I think one has to pick a black magic item and say what its use is. It’s funny when he is hanged upside down then freaks out when his wig fell down. =P Honey and Kyouya talk on the phone. Kyouya got Kuze’s group to research something in the library. Honey mentioned about him and Mori graduating. Haruhi then goes to Kyouya to say that the first cooking room can’t be used. Back to Tamaki, he finally sees a cat carved statue and says what it is for. It seems that Tamaki picks a couple of strange ingredient again to Megumi’s dismay. He then sees Haruhi hurrying and frantically asks something to Nekozawa. It seems that they are now going to use cooking class 3. Haruhi seems to be running around to inform everyone about the change. While Tamaki is saying something about Haruhi, Megumi notices Tamaki’s reaction. Then, it’s a whack-a bunny by Honey. To Honey’s shock and dismay, Tamaki hit them all. Hehe..Honey is hoping that Tamaki won’t hit the bunnies. Honey pouts that he doesn’t like Tamaki anymore. Tamaki picks some strange ingredients again. I think it is natto beans. Tamaki notices Megumi’s horrified look so he asks what it is. She just says it’s nothing. Honey and Tamaki had a little chat. Tamaki tells Honey that he already knows the aim of the contest. He asks who is responsible for it. Honey says that Kyouya initiated it but it is Haruhi’s plan. Tamaki slightly smiles when he hears about this. Haruhi runs about while thinking that this is some of the ways wherein she can help Tamaki who had helped others. Tamaki tells Megumi that right now, he has some feelings for some other girl wherein he would feel quite perplex. Some people say that she is similar with her [Haruhi] but he never thought noticed that. “I think you and she are totally different and I and you can never be together. you and I are also not [the same]” Megumi asks, “..that girl, do you like her..” Tamaki replies, “Yes..and maybe that it has already started a long time ago.” Last scene, Mori is waiting for the others to reach him. So, Tamaki knows of his feelings for Haruhi and the game is like making Megumi get turned off by Tamaki’s choice of ingredients = it’s not love.

[Okay, this is the most that I can write since I’m already harassed to start packing for our trip tomorrow to Boracay (local beach resort). =P I’ll be back in the afternoon of the 25th but then, I doubt I can put up a summary then. ^^; Anyway, hope you guys enjoy your holidays ^^]
[Skip Beat 133] While falling down, Kyouko quickly twist her body around to regain her footing on the stairs while falling but her foot slips so she still ended up falling by rolling down 10+ steps. Hikaru is totally shock since he has stood at the side of the stairs where he predicted she would fall but then, she ends up falling to the other side. [Basically, if she didn’t try to regain her footing then Hikaru would have caught her.] Hikaru quickly goes to her and asks if she is alright. Kyouko says that it’s already over if one falls like that down the stairs. This stabs Hikaru as he thinks he is stupid to ask such an obvious question. It turns out that Kyouko is referring to the sodas that she bought. She tried to protect them but since they ended up crushed when she tumbled down, she thought that she should have just dropped them. Hikaru tells her not to worry about that. Somewhere else, Chiori quickly runs away and is breathing hard. She looks pretty scared. She is surprised that Kyouko turned around even if after she threw the coat to hide her identity. She realizes that Kyouko deliberately risk falling down on her back just to see who pushed her. Chiori drops her bag as she nervously wonders if Kyouko will tell the director all about it and then, she will be in trouble since Kyouko will definitely be injured after falling like that. Kyouko sees a crumpled piece of paper on the stairs. It is one of Chiori’s writing. On it, Chiori wrote why that person wasn’t destroyed after doing Mio. Hikaru sees her reading the note and asks if that is from the person who pushed her. Upon seeing Kyouko’s serious reaction, Hikaru asks if she knows who it is. He tells her that he has seen the culprit’s face and would Kyouko want him to describe her in order for Kyouko to know if she met that girl before.
Kyouko tells him that it’s okay. Hikaru insists that it is not okay for she was just pushed down the stairs and she is lucky since she isn’t injured. He asks her if she plans to ignore it. Kyouko says that she never said that she is going to ignore it especially since it is something very interesting. She starts giggling about it. Obviously she has gone into Natsu mode. =P Hikaru is totally shock/aghast over the response. She asks him to keep all of this a secret because that girl is her prey. She starts folding the crumpled paper. She then smiles ala Natsu at Hikaru. This made Hikaru blush. She calls him sempai then puts her finger on her mouth [secret ‘sh’ hand sign]. She tells him to help her keep that secret and it’s something just between the two of them. This made Hikaru blush and his heart beat fast. He agrees as he is mesmerized by her. Kyouko tells him that they should hurry since the others are hungry and waiting for them. When Kyouko is about to go down, she sees the spilled food all over the stairs. Kyouko freaks out over this as Hikaru also is shock by her scream. Kyouko is still freaking out as she picks up the food. Hikaru thinks that Kyouko is back to normal. Kyouko thinks that she should buy the food again since Hikaru tried to save her so he threw the food. When she picks up the food, she suddenly felt a dull pain on her wrist. She thinks that it is the same earlier when she picked up the paper. Hikaru asks what that matter is but Kyouko quickly says that everything is fine. She says it would be nice if they had tissue to clean it up. Hikaru ends up taking the toilet paper from the nearby toilet. Soon, Kyouko is called in as Bou. Bridge Rock members are satisfied and full as Bou Kyouko walks with them to the set. She played billiards as Bou with sunglasses but missed and that caused some laughter. All throughout, Kyouko still feels a pain on her wrist but she thinks that she can ignore it and it is no big deal. That night, while sleeping, she suddenly wakes up because of the pain on her wrist. She is surprised by it then, she looks dark.
At the set, Chiori tries to be cute by making her hairstyle into two ponytails. Yoshimoto calls out to her if she is ready. She is surprised to see Chiori looking a bit nervous. Yoshimoto asks what happened since she acts listless since yesterday. Chiori says that it is nothing. She is tense upon hearing the director shouting about Kyouko getting herself injured when she fell from the stairs and the doctor told her not to move it much. He cries how Kyouko is going to act if she can’t move her right hand and that Kyouko as a professional should take care of herself. Kyouko apologizes and says she wasn’t careful that she didn’t expect it to hurt that much. Chiori is surprised by this. The gloomy director cries that there won’t be any progress in the shooting of the drama and what will he do. Kyouko tells her not to be depressed because even if she can’t move her right hand, they can still shoot the drama. The director asks how can be possible if the bully can’t even move her hand. Kyouko suggests that they make other people become her right hand. The director thinks that Kyouko is quite cruel but then Natsu is that type of person that is why Kaori [Makino’s role] is her only friend. Kyouko says that since it is her right hand then it should know what has to be done without her telling it what to do. It should be someone who is quick to adapt and respond. Kyouko then notices Chiori standing behind. She then points to her and says that Yumika [Chiori’s role] will be suitable for it. This shocks Chiori. Hehe, so Kyouko is going to start bullying Chiori. I think Kyouko kept that piece of paper. =P Actually, I think by making Chiori into that role will help make Chiori go into her role rather than think of bad things to ruin Kyouko since she is in a pinch earlier. I think after what happened, she would think twice or even thrice about doing that to Kyouko again. Obviously, she picked the wrong person to vent her frustration on and the wrong person whom she tried to take the role away from. Anyway, I’m sure the director will agree with the idea and maybe revise the script a bit to accommodate Kyouko’s idea. Also, when it was mentioned that Kaori is Natsu’s only friend, I thought that maybe that is why Makino agreed to eat ramen with her before. She continues acting as Kaori since her friend isn’t too thrilled about the idea at first. The author goes on a break so next chapter is on Jan 20th.
[Vampire Knight 46] Zero wants to kill Kaname because he’s a pureblood. Kaname also wants to kill Zero because he dared point a gun at his beloved Yuuki. Zero blasted away/used his vines to destroy Kaname’s right hand. Kaname uses his blood to form a hand and holds the vines that are entwined on his body. He calls out to Bloody Rose that it should know his voice and the taste of his blood. He asks it to remove itself from him because there is someone he wants to protect. Zero suddenly feels a pain when the vines suddenly withdraw from Kaname. Zero asks him what Kaname did. Kaname forms a huge claw made from his blood on his right hand as he thanks Bloody Rose. Zero reminds Bloody Rose as to who its enemy is. Before the two can finish each other, Yuuki goes in between them to stop them. Kaname shouts at her to step aside for he can’t ever forgive Zero for pointing a gun at her and he’ll do this even if she were to hate him for many years to come. His anger is pacified when he notices that Yuuki is holding his hand-less arm. She tells him that he doesn’t want him to say such sad things. She then licks the blood coming out from Kaname’s hand. Kaname uses his other hand to touch her face then he walks away. He tells the two to take their time saying their goodbyes. He tells Yuuki that she should know where she should go. After he left, Yuuki goes to Zero. Yuuki notices that Bloody Rose is drinking Zero’s blood. She manages to take the gun away from him. She apologizes and asks if it hurts. He glares at her then looks away. She says that it’s good if he’s alright when Zero suddenly pulls her to him and hugs her. This surprises Yuuki. Zero asks if the Yuuki he knows is inside her. Yuuki says she is though that other one might have already merged to the current personality and they become one. She says that she longs for her brother’s blood that is why she longs for him. Zero says that he longs for her blood. He bites her and drinks her blood. Then, after drinking, he gives her a kiss on the lips. After that, he asks her if she no longer have those fears and worries before. Yuuki says it’s true. Zero is satisfied with that and tells her that he will be fine without her and now, with nothing holding him back, he can focus on his main objective. He tells her to go with Kaname. Walking away, he picks up his gun and says that the next time they meet, he’ll kill her. Yuuki didn’t react. She just tells him that she’ll just keep on running away from him so that he will always have an enemy thus giving him a reason to live. Yuuki walks away. Zero glances back at her then continues on walking away.
So, it seems that Yuuki-Zero might end up like Juri-Kaien. Hehe..I wonder if the second arc will be like the continuation of the story of their parents with different characters but this time with a happy ending. =P Sara will of course replace the character of Rido. Hm..it seems that the love triangle is still the same as before. I do think that the romance is somewhat ‘cheapen’ when they are only after each other’s tasty blood. ^^; The only thing that seemed to change is now, Yuuki will be by Kaname’s side and not at Zero’s. Also, Kaname is now no longer revered and most probably will be hunted by others. I still hope he’ll re-grows his hand but even if didn’t, he can always still form a bloody hand. ^^; From the way Zero and Yuuki talked, it seems like the two admitted that what holds them together is their worry for the other and now that they no longer do that after all what happened, they can leave each other. Hehe..I’m glad that Kaname is totally angry about the gun pointing. *cries* He agrees with me. ^^ I think Kaname’s whole world revolves around Yuuki – he does things for her, he gets angry for her, he controls himself because of her, etc. ^^; So, I guess in the future chapters, we’ll know more about the pureblood and I’m pretty curious why Bloody Rose knows Kaname. I forgot already but was it Kaname who gave Artemis to Yuuki? I would be amused if it was Kaname who ‘made’ those vampire weapons. Maybe it is to keep those ‘bad’ vampires at bay since he did seem disillusioned about vampires before he went into hibernation. I’m also curious about Kaname’s remaining childhood friends if they will all separate or go with him? Also, I wonder if Kaname will say goodbye to Kaien or at least know what happened to him.
Lastly, some teasers from the raws that I have browsed. Do not read if you don’t want to be spoiled until the proper summary. ^^ Nothing much seemed to have happened in Kaichou wa Maid-sama 33. Actually, the two are acting like nothing happened. It made me think that they are like Fumino and Kazuma of Faster Than A Kiss. In public, they are casual etc but then, in private, they are lovey-dovey. This chapter is set in the maid café wherein their theme is magical witch girl. Usui visits. [Is it just me but he looks great/bsho in that outfit? =P] There are lots of blushing by Misaki especially when they interact or secretly looking at each other. =P Hanoka is angry about something then Satsuki said something that made Misaki blush so they suspect something happened. Then, Misaki goes out to throw the garbage. Usui is waiting for her. Talk-talk, and he probably try to tease her that she tries to punch him but then, it ends with a hug. Except for one chibi scene, Usui looks serious all throughout. Curiously, there is no Ouran High Host Club scans of the lastest chapter. It made me think that nothing much happened there. Faster Than A Kiss is two chapters behind from the raws. The first one is they just went to some hot spring and then, the next one, is making Meg unintentionally[?] jealous. =P I think we’ll have two couples in that series. And, since I used Kyou Koi wo Hajimemasu picture at the side, I decide to talk briefly what happened there. No, I won’t be summarizing it properly because the Chinese scans are pretty awful. Yay, in the latest arc, Kyouta didn’t turn out to be the jerk I thought he would be. Good thing that Tsubaki’s sincerity and doing everything even if she doesn’t want to just to please him got to him. ^^ Basically, after the arc where the two are a couple, some other girls are jealous and they start bullying Tsubaki. It’s pretty harsh since they literally beat her up since she doesn’t want to break up with Kyouta. Her friend, whatever her name is, realizes this. They are currently in a rift when Tsubaki learns that her friend actually planned to separate her from Kyouya because her friend likes Kyouta. Anyway, Kyouta notices Tsubaki’s bruises so he asked what happened. She told them that those girls beat her up. Kyouta shouted, iirc, at them about it. This made those girls angry that afterwards, they threw her bento out the window and starts bullying Tsubaki in the toilet. Her friend notices the bento outside. She confirms to Kyouta about his feelings for Tsubaki. Upon knowing that he really finds Tsubaki, iirc, interesting or something to that effect, she tells him that those girls are currently bullying Tsubaki. This made Kyouta rush to the toilet and punch the wall instead of the girl who is bullying Tsubaki. Nice. Then, those girls still want to get back at Tsubaki so during a school race outside, they got some guys to lure Tsubaki into a toilet then tries to molest her/strip her clothes then taking her pictures on the phone. Those girls just left her there even if they feel troubled by what those guys are doing. Tsubaki is saved by her friend. They sort out their problems as her friend says that she really does want her to be her friend. Tsubaki also gives her a haircut. Her friend and Kyouta later on had a talk and it seems that the friend used to like Kyouta but anymore and iirc, she already has a boyfriend.
The bullying finally ends when the girls ask Tsubaki not to tell Kyouta what they did to her. Tsubaki tells them that she can’t forgive them but she would want a favor from them. She made those girls threaten the other girls [another group] who are also bullying her because of Kyouta to stop bullying her. Kyouta sees that scene and thought those girls are actually being nice to Tsubaki and thanks them. This made those girls ashamed and left. Tsubaki mentions a bit about what happened to her but she tells him that it’s okay even if he was really angry. He decides to let it go. I’m not actually quite happy about it since they like just got a slap on the wrist for what they did but then, well, I guess the author doesn’t want to drag it. Then, iirc, in his apartment, Kyouta tries to foreplay but Tsubaki is reminded of the ordeal that happened when those guys tried to do that to her. She tells him about being happy that she protected her dream of walking down the aisle as a virgin. With that, she manages to escape. The next arc is Tsubaki clueless about sex and everything. Her younger sister is more experienced in that. She lends some magazines/manga about it. Just from looking at those, Tsubaki had a massive nosebleed. When Kyouta came to visit, he thought that she wants to do it since he saw the books. So, when he tried, this made Tsubaki scream as if he is some rapist. This pretty much hurt Kyouta’s feelings that he left. After some more misunderstanding wherein Tsubaki tries to get romantic even if she is totally nervous and everything in order to please him but Kyouta seems to think that she is just teasing him and that might happen again so he is being ‘mean’ to her. Tsubaki is pushed into further stress when she learns that her class standing falls down to sixth place. In the end, the two go to Kyouta’s room to watch the ‘star constellation lamp’. To his shock, Tsubaki strips to her underwear then lay down on the bed with a blanket on top. That is so funny. She is shaking and everything as she tries to brave everything but it seems that Kyouta finally learns that she is forcing herself when she isn’t ready for this. After some talk and clarification about what had happened before that lead to their misunderstanding, he just gives her a hug. Then, she waits to be kissed. He stops when he sees her bra. He ends up putting blanket on her. He tells her to put her clothes back on. Outside, after the two are dressed up, Kyouta gives Tsubaki the kiss that she was waiting for earlier. ^^ So, that ends the arc and that is happened until chapter 31. Lastly, regarding what happened in the The One 55. So, what bothered Lele that she went to Eros’ place looking like that? Flashback starts with Marshall guessing right about Angus that this caused Angus to remember some of his past. It turns out that his father did pimp him to that Madam Mandai woman. Geh. His father is awful. This made Angus push away the model when he thinks that model is Mandai kissing him. Marshall looks pleased and decides to have a break. Angus looks visibly distressed that Lele can’t help but ask if he is alright. She wondered what memories that Marshall got Angus to remember. He pulls her down on the bench and put his head on her lap. He then asks her to call him ‘Long’ [His Chinese name]. Lele tries her best to comfort him and before she knew it, he pulls her down and gives her a kiss on the lips. He then thanks her. End flashback. So, the reason why Lele went to Eros’ place is she has gotten confused because she felt something when Angus kissed her. She literally bangs her head on the post as to why she felt that way when she likes Eros. This somewhat freaks out Eros who is eating, after all, her forehead is bleeding. =P He asks her what happened since she didn’t say anything ever since she came in and she just kept staring at him. To his surprise, she suddenly sits like a dog then looks at him. She then follows him to the kitchen when he washes the dishes. She tries to convince herself that the twins are not the same since Angus isn’t the type to wash the dishes. This is creeping Eros out. Then, Eros is about go inside the bathroom, Lele tries to follow him. Lol, Eros has to shout for her that she can’t follow him inside. Geez, that was hilarious. Lele would even wonder what he is doing inside that she uses a glass to the door to eavesdrop. =P Eros just took a shower. Lele goes ‘wow so sexy’ when he came out. Eros still looks at Lele who has that ‘longing’ look. Eros goes to bed and says that he is tired and he doesn’t have the energy to bother thinking what’s up with her. He asks her if she isn’t going home. She didn’t answer. Then, to my surprise, Eros invites her to bed..haha, of course to just sleep since he doesn’t want her to freeze to death. Aww...they slept together hugging. The last scene is Wheeler modeling as a vampire with Feidna. It turns out that Wheeler also likes Angus. ^^; Anyway, the magazine where this is serialized will become a monthly magazine so each The One chapter will now come out every month. Kaichou Wa Maid-Sama! [Chapter 32]

At the stage, the announcer says that it’s time for second year’s Kamiyama and Oono’s famous comedy skit. Shizuko gloomily asks Sakura if she can go home already. She angrily says that it is because Sakura said that ‘Kuga/Kuka-kun wishes to let her see how he has changed’ so she even specially gone to that cultural festival. With sparkling eyes, Sakura tells her that she has eagerly waited for this. Shizuko asks if she also wants to watch the concert. Shizuko gloomily thinks that Sakura still makes people worry and it is a good thing that they had split up with Misaki for it will be quite painful for others to do this. At the love trial, the organizers ask Misaki and Usui who are holding hands, if they are ready. While one of the organizers is telling them the mechanics of the game about holding hands during the different ‘tests’ and they will start from 3-1 classroom’s booth. Misaki isn’t listening as she is wondering why things ended up that way. She feels that her mind is going blank from all that thinking. She also wonders why she is holding hands with Usui and why she is joining this competition. She blushes red when she suddenly thinks that this is like a date. She then thinks that it isn’t so because she is with Sakura and Shizuko. Usui just looks at her. The organizer shows them the map where they should go. He asks if they already remember it. After looking at his watch, he shouts for them to go. Someone pops a popper which surprises Misaki. Usui looks at her and says, “Hey—what’s the matter? We should reach the first destination within 10 minutes. Do not be in the way [or be a hindrance]-- Kaichou ♥” This made Misaki furious for being implied as a hindrance and for that taunting expression that he had. The two are walking fast in the hallway. He tells her that even if it’s not their school, she shouldn’t be running in the corridor. Misaki shouts for him to shut up for she is doing a ‘walking race’ walk. Probably showing her how, Usui tells her that this is the way to ‘walk race’. Misaki complains about the slippery floor. The people whom they passed by just look surprised and sweatdrop at the two quarrelling couple.
Near the food stands, a 3-1 girl is preparing some ramen and wonders what is that sound. The girl freaks out when Misaki exclaims that she has the proof of participation. She shows the girl her necklace. Looking at his mobile phone, Usui comments that they used up 3 minutes to get there and if it was just him, it would only take a minute. Misaki angrily shouts, “What did you say!! Detestable person!! Me, too! If I’m all alone then I would have arrived within 30 seconds! Listen to what someone is saying!” Usui is already asking the girl what are the rules of the contest. She serves them a huge bowl of ramen and says that they have to eat it within 10 minutes. Misaki says that it is quite easy for two people to finish it. The girl darkly says that only one person should eat it. While smiling, Usui says that he feels an intense hostility. Someone says that a healthy guy will force himself to do this best and eat all of it for one’s girlfriend. The 3-1 girl is surprised when Misaki wants to play a jakenpon [rock paper scissors] game. Usui says, “What..can’t you even say ‘I can’t eat this much~~♥’?” Misaki exclaims, “Ah?! Why?! Do you think I will say that?!” Usui smiles and says that he doesn’t think so. The two then starts playing jakenpon as the 3-1 girl wonders if they aren’t lovers. Misaki lost. Holding the chopsticks with her left hand, Misaki says that she is going to eat it all that even the soup won’t be left. She then realizes something. A note says that she is right-handed and Usui is holding her right hand. Misaki asks the girl if she can change her hands with the other. The girl says that it will count as a loss/disqualification. Misaki thinks that there is no choice but to use her left hand. She uses her teeth to pull off the wrapper of the chopsticks. To her surprise, Usui grabs the chopsticks from her. While using his teeth to separate the bamboo chopsticks, he says that this is his duty. “I’m going to feed you. Eat it well. ♥” Blushing, Misaki protests that she doesn’t want to because she will eat it on her own. She tries to get the chopsticks back but Usui tells 3-1 girl that they are going to start. 3-1 girl shouts for the others that they are starting. They shout their slogan for the game then exclaims that game starts. With a chopsticks full of ramen + topping, Usui says, “Here—Say Ah--♥” Misaki tries to resist as Usui holds her hand tight. He tells her that if she doesn’t hurry then the 10 minutes limit will be over soon. “Do you want me to blow it for you, too?” A scene shows a girl blowing the ramen so that it will be cool enough for the guy to eat. Some of the people around are saying that these contestants [Usui + Misaki], it is opposite of the others – boy feeding the girl. Misaki shouts that there is no need for that, she’ll eat it as it is. She feels ill that everyone is watching them. She opens her mouth to eat while thinking that Usui is definitely doing this deliberately to tease her and if she minds it too much, it will seem as if he’ll prevail. To her surprise, Usui pulls away the food just when she takes a bite. With a teasing look, Usui says, “Ah..Kaichou is so stupid. Come. Come here.” This made Misaki really angry. Soon, there is a commotion among students about the two.
First, it is about the super way of feeding the other at 3-1 ramen competition. Usui is teasing Misaki by playing around with the food as Misaki takes a bite of it. Then, in 3-2 card game, they viciously played and won that made the organizers scared and exclaim that they are demons. Then, in 3-3 pingpong game, Misaki easily wins. They murmur if Misaki is left-handed. Misaki comments that it seems that she wasn’t able to control her strength but then, they won. Usui asks if she plans to make an alibi about using her left hand. Misaki angrily denies this and says that it is only because she is not in a good mood. Everyone looks aghast and stunned. They think that the two are not a normal couple but rather, a super duo. The two leave while still quarrelling about the other not dragging the other down. In 3-4 classroom, it is a balloon game. They are to find a balloon that has a question inside. After popping the balloon, they’ll answer the question. The time limit is 5 minutes. Misaki gloomily says that the people watching them have increased. Usui says that it could be because they show off too much. Usui sighs and asks if it will be no problem not covering it up.[?] Misaki didn’t hear what he said so she asks what did he just said. Usui just pushes a balloon on her face and tells her that they see who finds the balloon first. Misaki holds his hand tighter and says that she accepts his challenge. Usui has a soften look on his face while Misaki finds a balloon. She smiles and says that she found it. She is surprised to see slightly blushing Usui smiling at her. Misaki blushes then asks why he is staring off like that. She tells him to hurry because there is a time limit. Usui says that she is right. He pulls her to him with the balloon between them and says that they should use the fastest way to pop the balloon. Pop. Meanwhile, Shizuko has snapped as she shouts at Sakura that she came to see Kuga but then, he is nowhere in sight. Sakura is in tears. Shizuko manages to calm herself down and apologizes for shouting at her. Sakura also apologizes. She tries to explain to Shizuko about her feelings concerning Kuga wherein she thinks he is cool, chasing after her admired dream/ideal guy although it is just one reason, she still can’t sever it. “Those words are completely hard to describe. The feelings of ‘like/love’ overflows in different places [or happens to people in different ways] although everyone resists, but one knows that it is impossible. But..when one realizes that kind of feeling..then, it won’t ever cease.” While she is saying that, there is a scene of Kuga’s group preparing to go on stage. Then, the balloon pops with a note inside. Misaki is holding her ear while blushing. She blushes even more when she sees Usui laughing.
The love trial ended as the organizers give them a note with words, ‘Special Reward’ on it. They tell them that it is a special entertainment for the night festivities. They hope the two had fun until the end. Misaki is complaining that her ear is still ringing. Usui says, “How that could be since it was super fun.” Misaki angrily shouts at him as to which game did he had fun for it seems that he is having fun teasing her. Usui asks if he is the only one who had fun. This surprises Misaki. She blushes then somewhat admits that she did had fun. She is surprised when Usui lets go of her hand. He tells her that they should get their bags. She becomes depressed as she thinks that it is more convenient if one has two hands. Outside, they notice that the mood has become a bit energetic. Looking at the board of schedule, Usui says that maybe it is that. Misaki looks at the board and realizes that it’s that guy’s concert. The fans are going while as the band sings. Sakura is holding Shizuko’s hands tightly while exclaiming in delight. Misaki says that the nearer to the stage, the more people there are. Usui says that he told her that it is better to just wait for the concert to finish before getting back together with the others. Misaki insists on getting a bit nearer is better. Usui manages to walk ahead a bit. Misaki then unconsciously try to hold his hand but then, she stops before she holds his hand. She becomes nervous as she wonders what she is thinking of doing. Usui looks back and asks if she is alright since they almost got separated. “Do you want to hold hands just like a while ago?” Misaki clenches her fist and says, “There’s no need to!!” After the concert ended, Misaki is standing behind some building. She calls up Sakura about meeting together since the concert is over. Misaki doesn’t understand what Sakura is talking about so Shizuko quickly takes the phone from Sakura. Misaki asks if they aren’t going to meet up. Shizuko tells her that right now, they are going to walk around the festival with a member of Yumemishi [band]. Misaki angrily exclaims. Then, when she turns around she sees, Kuga who looks stunned. A note points a member of Yumemishi. Kuga then tells her not to just suddenly shout when someone is just coming out. [I think Kuga thought she is a fan] Shizuko tells Misaki that Kuga just called that he and the others would want to walk around like normal people so they need their help to help them hide their identities. Misaki says okay so leave it at that for the moment and she’ll call her back.
After hanging up the phone, Kuga asks her not to glare at him like that. Misaki sighs and tells him that she wants to say it clearly that she already doesn’t have any interest in him. A flashback scene of Misaki shouting at Kuga that she won’t let him have Sakura is shown. Kuga says that he doesn’t plan on getting to see her scary expression while scolding at him. She asks him what he is planning. He asks if he meant about Sakura and if he can’t even walk around the festival with Sakura. Misaki says that it is because the favor is from him so Sakura couldn’t refuse. “Because it’s too easy so you plan to use her?” Kuga says that she is still old fashioned and scary. “What did Sakura-chan said? Saying that I’m the type..to playing with around her..?” There is a scene of Kou, glasses member, apologizing to Sakura and Shizuko for being asked of this favor by Kuga and Kuga will be there soon. Misaki says that Sakura is just too nice and because there is some danger that she [Misaki] can’t help but worry about her. “The truth is I cannot totally trust you. ..but..because Sakura assured me with all her might that you have changed so I came here to confirm it.” Kuga blushes as he says, “..change..huh..” He then notices Misaki angrily glaring at him. He tells her to stop doing that. Misaki apologizes for it. She explains that she totally doesn’t know which part of him has changed so she is intensely looking at him. Looking away, Kuga says that a person like her won’t be able to understand for the only girl who pays attention to him is her [Sakura]. There is a scene showing Sakura holding some ‘get well soon’ flowers for him. This surprises Misaki that she asks if he really thinks of Sakura as.. Kuga gestures for her to stop as he says that Misaki is too protective that she should just honestly play/have fun with her boyfriend. He tells her not to mind his business. Misaki asks whom is he referring to as her boyfriend. Kuga says, “Isn’t that self-proclaimed stalker your man?” Blushing, Misaki denies it and exclaims that guy is a perverted alien stalker. Kuga tells her not to shout too loudly else, he’ll be discovered. Looking at her, he says, “..then, what is he to you? Could it be..you’re still suppressing your emotions towards that guy?” This surprises Misaki. She asks what he is talking about. Kuga sighs and says, “Not only tormented until one’s half-dead, being with such a stubborn and violent woman, if it’s me, I won’t be able to endure it for a day!” This made Misaki angry as she shouts, “So what if I am! A person like you, please excuse my inability to comply!!” [Hehe..translated that literally ^^; Basically, like sorry, if I’m like this.] Kuga walks away while saying, “Ah..how scary! How scary! Bye-ya” Misaki wonders what Kuga said about her suppressing her feelings for Usui.
She is surprised when Usui calls out to apologize for making her wait since there are a lot of people that is why he is late. Seeing her reaction, he asks if she also wants to drink some juice. She says no and she is fine. Later on, Misaki tells Usui that in the end, they can’t meet up with Sakura and others. Usui asks if they are alright. Misaki says that she has called many times and Shizuko says that everything is fine so it should be okay. Misaki says that for now, they have attained their goal. Usui is puzzled by this since Misaki seems quite relaxed. Misaki says that she is worried but then, what happened later on is something that she cannot interfere with. Usui sighs and asks, “Since the goal is achieved, we’re going home, right?” To his surprise, Misaki stutters that this opportunity is rare and would he want to go to the night festivities. “Usui..do..you have time?” Usui says that even if she said that, it is really something quite unexpected. This made Misaki blush. She quickly stands up and exclaims she just painstakingly asked him that. “Can’t I even do that? If you don’t want to go then, it’s fine. I can go by myself!” Usui smiles and says sure since it isn’t easy to finish that game and win that special prize. In a room, Misaki blushes when she is made to wear a gown. She asks if that is the ‘special entertainment’. The girls say that it suits her. They tell her that this is their school’s costume department. For that special night, dressed up in special outfits would bring about special memories. They tell her to enjoy the night. “Romeo-sama is already waiting for you.” [Lol, I can’t believe it. I guessed it right as to who they are ‘cosplaying’ as when I first saw the raws.] Usui is waiting for her outside. He sees her then says, “It suits you, Juliet!!” Blushing, she tells him not to say it because it’s embarrassing. While the students are preparing for the bonfire and the fireworks, the two are walking at the hallway. Usui says that it’s a rare chance to see those. Misaki nervously just agrees. Misaki wonders why she couldn’t control herself from inviting Usui. “What is wrong with me? Is it because I’m caught by the festive mood of the festival?! It feels like my feelings won’t calm down.” Usui notices that Misaki looks nervous and worried.
She is surprised when Usui opens a classroom door and says that they will have a better view of the fireworks from there. Misaki asks if they can go in. Usui says that if they don’t do anything bad [wreck the stuff inside] then it should be okay. Inside, Misaki is really nervous. Usui sits down on a table near the window. Usui then asks startled Misaki, “What is it? Ayuzawa?” Misaki backs away a bit and exclaims that she is alright. Usui says if that is so then it is fine. He suggests that they go somewhere else because it is better to get close to where the fireworks are going to happen. Misaki suddenly blurts out if he is suppressing his emotions. Usui asks if she is asking about the fireworks and the truth is he is also.. Misaki says that isn’t what she meant. “Regarding me, from your side, are you also suppressing your feelings?!” This surprises Usui. He looks down and asks, “Why do you think so?” Misaki says it is not why but she only felt it that way. Walking close to her, Usui says, “You really do understand me..” This surprises Misaki. She exclaims, “So you are suppressing your feelings?! Why..” Usui is already in front of her as he says, “You’re too much, Ayuzawa..you want..me to answer that question?” Misaki blushes really red as she looks down. Usui says, “Then, if you can answer my question, I will also properly answer that question you just asked. Why are you so curious about me?!” Misaki says, “About that..there is no special meaning to it..even if I’ve asked you..I also didn’t know..” Usui replies, “You don’t know?! AT THIS TIME, Ayuzawa..will become a liar.” Misaki asks what he is implying. Usui asks, “Ayuzawa, why are you blushing?” Misaki denies that she is. Usui asks, “Are you nervous about something?” Misaki denies that she is. Usui asks, “Ayuzawa is not..because of something that you are suppressing your feelings?!” This stuns Misaki. He then pats her head and says that he has gone overboard on this teasing.
He is walking away from her. Misaki tightly clenches her fist as she says, “Supress..” She then holds Usui’s hand. This surprises Usui. He turns around to face her. Misaki says, “I am suppressing my emotions...why is it like this..why is it with Usui..I totally don’t understand!! You’re also a pervert, also a drag, always appearing before me, and always teasing me with a calm face..It is all your fault!! If we just didn’t join that game, this feeling..I wouldn’t have realized it!!” Usui looks tense as he says, “Calm down. What is the matter?” Misaki is holding his hand tightly. She is blushing when she looks up to face Usui and exclaims, “The truth is, I always..wanted to hold hands with you!!” This surprises Usui. Calming down a bit, she looks away and says, “..believing that you are just harassing me..but then you leave me..what are you thinking..I really don’t understand..why is my heart moved by you, why when I leave you, I’ll feel this loneliness..why like this..I’m being made helpless..only by you..” Usui blushes a bit. She goes closer to him and says, “Idiot Usui..why do you always annoy me..” Misaki is surprised when Usui pulls his hand which she is holding away. He then clasp her hand [like mutual holding hands] and says, “You’re quite cunning..Ayuzawa..until what degree were you planning to make me suppress, till you are satisfied? I’m always annoying you because..I want to see your interesting reaction. The usually mighty kaichou would at times show a cute smile that I’m surprised ‘and can’t help but tease you’. [I’m not sure about the ones in quotes ^^;] Although it seems interesting, but it is also very dangerous, making me quite unbearably anxious. ..you’ve asked me /why I’m suppressing..all sorts of things..too many..that even in one sentence, I can’t explain it clearly.” He gently holds her head to him and says, “--for example..right now..” She then holds his hand that is gently caressing her face. He pulls her closer then they kiss while the fireworks are exploding outside. After they pull away, Usui says, “I..right now..really..want to..” He then kisses her at the cheek and probably another on the lips again. He slightly smiles and says, “I like you..Ayuzawa..” While the fireworks are exploding outside, the two are walking together at the hallway, holding hands. Misaki says, “The kind of person you are..the most irritating..You’re really..” Usui replies, “You’re quite cunning, Ayuzawa..” Misaki answers back, “..Usui, you’re an idiot!!”
So, that confession of feelings and kiss are all thanks to Sakura who brought them to the festival, to the organizers of the love trial and finally, Kuuga who gave Misaki some insights. I think in relationships like that, sometimes a third person is needed to give them a push or realize their feelings for each other. Hehe..aside from the usual love rival. =P About the Romeo and Juliet, I actually thought of all possible costumes, why that? It made me think that it is quite ominous since their relationship might be like that later on especially since we don’t know Usui’s background and who he really is. Obviously, this won’t turn into a tragedy. =P As for Kuga, he needs to work harder in order for Sakura’s friends to trust him again but then, there is a limit to what they can do/interfere since Sakura is really head over heels in love with him. About the games, I think Usui deliberately tease and agitated Misaki so that she’ll stop thinking why she is in that current situation. He bet on her fighting spirit of wanting to do her best when challenged. As Usui said, it is dangerous because there is a risk of Misaki hating him. It will be the reverse effect he wanted. Anyway, since their feelings for each other are now more or less clear and even though I think they will somewhat treat each other like before yet something different just like in that last scene, maybe the author will start letting us know about Usui in the future chapters.

Woohoo~! The raws are out ahead of time. It’s Zero x Yuuki ^^ Oh my..they even kissed. Hehe..it’s like we can also do what happened in Kaichou wa Maid-sama, too! Colored spread = Kaname and Zero. Kaname and Zero basically talk and fight. Kaname’s hand is a bloody mess from Zero’s vines. Kaname seems to do something. I’m not sure but I guess something about controlling Zero’s blood or something. This made Zero withdraw the vines. Kaname uses the blood on his hand to change it into a super huge claw. Before the two kill each other, Yuuki gets in between to stop them. After some talk with Yuuki, Kaname withdraws his claw. I’m not sure what Yuuki did there..did she lick the blood or his finger or what. She somewhat licks the blood because *sob* Kaname lost his hand. Zero has ripped it apart with his vines earlier. This made Kaname leave and tell her something. I’m guessing that it is for her to talk things with Zero. After Kaname left, Yuuki goes to Zero and help him remove the bloody rose gun from his hand. After glaring at Yuuki, Zero pulls her to him and hugs her. They have a talk about memories, etc then she lets Zero bite her on the neck to drink her blood. After that, he kisses her on the lips. So, without scanlations/translation, I can’t guess if that kiss is like a goodbye kiss or what. I’m feeling that there is still no resolution with the ‘love triangle’. And since many are saying there is a part two, so I guess this will prepare for that part two. As for KwMS 32, hopefully, I’ll get to finish it tonight. Have to head back at the store. Hehe

Sumi clings onto Soichiroh as she doesn’t want to touch Nozomu’s outreached hand. It was Soichiroh who grabbed Nozomu’s hand to shake his hand. Soichiroh says that he’ll be under his care so he’ll leave the rest to him. “Although we are friends, I also don’t want any special treatment.” Nozomu says that is what he desires. Natsuki is puzzled when he notices that Sumi looks relieved. Komai tells Sumi that they should go home. Sumi is trying to leave immediately but Nozomu calls out to her. This made Sumi really tense. She turns around to face him. Nozomu invites her to come and visit his house sometime since Miu would want to entertain her. “Of course, Soichiroh can also come.” Soichiroh/Sumi says that they will. Sumi bids him goodbye as Nozomu also says goodbye to her. Sumi notices the sad-smile look on Nozomu’s face then she quickly leaves. Natsuki is observing everything. After she left, Soichiroh asks if a single room is okay with Nozomu because he will do the accounting. Nozomu says that whatever is fine because he is currently just learning. Takemoto comments that he is more serious now compared before and if it is because he has gotten married. With a cold look in his eyes, Nozomu says that is true because before, his path is always being laid down by his parents so he feels it is quite boring. “But now, I have found what wanted to do so I feel happy...” While riding the rickshaw home, Komai asks if Sumi is okay. Sumi says that maybe it is because she is tired. She sees some kids playing at the sidewalk. This made her wonder if the kids are doing fine. At the old shack, Atari is trying to feed a chicken by placing some food on a pot. Eisuke exclaims that it is his treasure. While the two argue, the other kids tell Eisuke not to buy anymore weird stuff and their house is already filled with things that they don’t have any place to sleep. Eisuke tells them that he plans to buy them cheaply then sell the things [antiques] at a higher price later on. “So, this is what they call resell at a profit!” Atari says that if he is like that then Sumi will scold him again.
At Ashida residence, Soichiroh has arrived home. He exclaims to Sumi that cleaning and sanitation is the job of servants. He is shock to see Sumi standing outside the window, cleaning the window. Sumi greets him home. Soichiroh shouts for her to go back in since it is dangerous. Sumi just tells him that it’s okay. Soichiroh apologizes for shouting at her at the company. Sumi says it is alright because it is her fault for just going to the company on her own. Looking sad, she says, “It..would have been better if I didn’t go there.” Soichiroh asks if it is because of Nozomu. Sumi says yes. Sumi thinks that she can’t forget that sad-smile look that he had. Soichiroh tells her that Nozomu is already married so he doesn’t have any feelings towards Sumi anymore. Sumi is about to protest when she loses her footing. Soichiroh shouts her name and quickly catches her before she falls. Soichiroh pulls her in. Sumi apologizes. While still holding her, Soichiroh says, “No matter what happens, I will protect you.” Sumi is surprised. She blushes while looking at blushing Soichiroh. Sumi thanks him. This made Soichiroh snap out of it and shout, “What’s with that disgusting look! Id-iot!” At the company, a man gives some documents to Natsuki regarding some investigation. Natsuki looks at it and is surprised. He exclaims, “Those two..is like that..this makes things interesting.” The next day, Soichiroh tosses a pillow on sleeping Sumi. “Wake up, idiot girl!” Sumi wakes up and tells him that it is still too early. Soichiroh exclaims that he is hungry and he would want to eat her chowder [which I called mixed congee before]. This puts a smile on Sumi’s face. She goes up from bed and says that she will quickly make it. He shouts at her not to go there while wearing her sleeping clothes. Sumi says that he’s right. She starts undressing that Soichiroh blushes and exclaims for her not to take off her clothes in front of him.
At the Ijuin residence, Nozomu says that he is leaving. Miu tells him that she is going to make dinner tonight. “My friend is good at cooking so I went to learn from her.” Nozomu coldly tells her that there is no need for her to do that. Miu is about to protest but Nozomu already leaves. At the gate, he is surprised to see Natsuki waiting for him. Natsuki says that he is there regarding a small matter. Then, at the beach, Nozomu looks a bit tense as he asks why Natsuki brought him there. Natsuki says that he has heard that at this seaside is part of Nozomu’s memories. Nozomu becomes tense as he remembers that this is the place where he asked Sumi to elope with him. Nozomu asks what he is planning to say. Natsuki says that he won’t beat the bush. “Until now, you still want to get Miss Sumi, right? I can help make your wish become reality. I’m standing at Nozomu’s side.” This surprises Nozomu. He asks, “What?” Natsuki says, “The truth is..there is also something that I want to have.” Later on, at Soichiroh’s company, Hidejirou drops by for a visit. He tells him that he wants to ask a favor from him. Back at Ashida residence, while eating dinner, Sumi exclaims about Hidejirou wanting to have another chess match with her. Komai says that if Sumi wins then it will be advantageous to Soichiroh’s business. Sumi asks if it will be held at the company. Soichiroh says it will be. Komai tells Sumi to do her best. Sumi is sad since Nozomu might be there. On the day of the match, Takemoto exclaims that he eagerly anticipates Hidejirou and Sumi’s match. In a room, Komai is serving tea. Natsuki is also there. Soichiroh tells Sumi that if she doesn’t want to, she can refuse. Sumi says that if she wins this match then Soichiroh would be happy. Soichiroh affirms this as he says that it is because for the business side.. Sumi smiles at him and says that she will do her best for him.
Just then, Hidejirou arrives. He apologizes for being late. “The truth is I brought someone who is going replace me for the match. He is number 1 chess player in Yokohama!” A punk/gangster-looking guy says that his name is Yokosuka Johnny. Soichiroh asks if he is Japanese since his name is Johnny. Sumi is freaking out. Hidejirou is still saying something when Sumi quickly pulls Soichiroh to the side. Soichiroh asks what it is. Sumi whispers that she played against that man when she used to be poor. This made Soichiroh exclaim loudly, “What?!” Hidejirou asks what up with the two. Soichiroh quickly says that it is something personal. He assures Sumi not to worry for the current her and the former her is totally different. This somewhat relieves Sumi. Soichiroh introduces himself to Johnny. When Sumi mentions her name, this made Johnny surprised. This frightens the couple. This made Sumi really nervous because she used her name before. Hidejirou asks if they know each other. Johnny wonders out loud where he could have seen her before. Seeing Sumi looking tense that she’ll be found out, Johnny says that he is mistaken and it could be just a coincidence that they look alike. Takemoto says but of course for there is no way for Sumi to have a friend like that vulgar person. It has been decided that Sumi will play first. The game starts. Sumi places her move. Hidejirou comments that this is how Sumi attacks first. Sumi wants to finish the game quickly so that she can go home. After some movies, Johnny then exclaims that this way of playing is.. Sumi then realizes that she didn’t realize that she is playing like the way she used to win before hence, he will know who she is. Hidejirou asks if he remembers that kind of attack style. Sumi is tense as Johnny says he does. “She’s so like the girl I have met before.” This surprises Soichiroh who is blushing really red [jealousy]. Hidejirou asks what kind of person she was. Johnny says that she was with her brother who likes to gamble. “A kind of girl who plays gamble-chess for the sake of her younger siblings then forced to becomes stronger every day. I had proposed to her..” This revelation shook Soichiroh.
Hidejirou asks what happened afterwards. Johnny says that girl rejected his proposal saying that in order to protect her siblings, she cannot marry. Sumi looks really tense. Hidejirou says that girl is quite pitiful. Johnny tells Sumi that it’s her move. Sumi says yes. She is so nervous that she drops a chess piece. When she is about to pick it up, Soichiroh hold her hand. He stands up with Sumi and tells the others that his wife is tired so the match will stop for now. This saddens Hidejirou. Soichiroh apologizes for forcing Sumi to play. They are already walking away. Komai says that if Sumi wins, the business will be advantageous to them. Soichiroh says that Sumi’s health is more important. Johnny asks, “Are you running away?” Hidejirou shouts at him for talking that way to Sumi. This made Sumi stop and think. Soichiroh tells her not to mind Johnny. Sumi looks angry/challenged. She goes back to the table and sits down. Hidejirou asks if it is okay for her to continue. Sumi says yes. Sumi looks serious at taunting Johnny. She thinks, “I will win!! For Soichiroh, I will definitely win!” Sumi makes her move. This surprises everyone in the room. Johnny says that he likes it that way. The two continue to play while Soichiroh looks quite glum. After making a move, Sumi shouts, “Checkmate!” This surprises Johnny and the others. Then, Johnny concedes defeat to her. Takemoto claps his hand to congratulate her. Soichiroh says that she did well. Johnny stands up and leaves. Sumi runs after him. At the stairs, she says that he must already know who she really is. She asks him not to tell this to anyone. Sumi is caught off guard when he looks back, smiling as he asks her, “Are you happy right now?” Sumi thinks, “Happy?” Just then, Soichiroh calls out to her. Johnny walks away and waves back. He tells her to relax for he won’t tell anyone about it. Sumi is relieved and Soichiroh is jealous. Soichiroh grabs her hand and angrily exclaims for her not to just run out on her own. Sumi apologizes.
Back at the room, Hidejirou praises Sumi even if she defeated Johnny. “I hope that there’ll be another chance to see/test your strength.” Sumi says okay. Komai cheers that Sumi is great. Natsuki doesn’t look happy. Sumi is conscious about Soichiroh holding her hand. Komai says that they should go and celebrate. At Ashida residence, Komai exclaims that he will call them when dinner is ready. While walking downstairs, Sumi tells Soichiroh that he is always leading her by the hand [holding her hand]. Sumi is surprised when Soichiroh asks if she has gone steady with that guy. Sumi says that there is no such thing and as he said, he proposed to her but she refused. Soichiroh says, “That guy..is always looking at Sumi..through a guy’s eyes.” [Think of Sumi as a woman] Soichiroh then hugs her then kisses her on the lips. After the kiss, he says, “You belong to me.” Sumi thinks that Soichiroh is acting strange. The two kiss each other again. Sumi thinks that before she thinks that it is quite disgusting but now, she doesn’t think that way. “And, I would want this to keep on continuing..in my heart, there is a feeling that is gradually..” Then, they hear some shouts. “You can’t!” “It doesn’t matter, meanie!” A maid enters with Komai behind her. The maid exclaims, “Master!” This made Soichiroh exclaim what’s with this person. Trying to hold the maid back, Komai says that he already tried to stop her but.. The maid exclaims, “Nice to meet you! I’m adhering to the instruction of Kyujou family to come and serve here as a maid. My name is Kinoshita Keiko ☆” Soichiroh asks, “Kyujou?” [Kyujou is Natsuki’s surname.]
So, it does seem the reason that Soichiroh snapped at Sumi before is because he is in stress. He does seem somewhat nice to Sumi all of a sudden. I guess he also soften upon seeing how disturbed Sumi was upon seeing Nozomu at the company. I do wonder why he wasn’t that jealous before when it was Nozomu. Is it because he really doesn’t have any feelings for her before or is it because he doesn’t consider Nozomu a love rival since he was the one pulling the strings before? I think Sumi is really cool when she was playing the chess against Johnny. It’s nice to see that side of her aside from being always nice and submissive. Hopefully, the author will develop that or show it again later on. I think Johnny is pretty nice for not making a scandal there and was even considerate of her. It actually made me think that he still has some feelings for her. So, even if things are progressing between the two, here comes Keiko. Who wouldn’t be suspicious if a maid from your ‘enemy’ is sent to your place? I do think that Natsuki is after Soichiroh’s wealth or the company. Then, Soichiroh also has a problem with Nozomu wanting to get Sumi from him. I wonder if in some part of the story, Soichiroh will lose everything. Regarding, Hidejirou, I think it is quite unfair for him to get someone else to play for him. Since they oblige, I think he might set up more competitions. Soichiroh can’t turn him down because of business and I’m sure Hidejirou is doing it just for his entertainment. Lastly, I think in the hopes of wanting to win lots of money in just a short time, Eisuke keeps on engaging on all sorts of things from gambling to now, selling ‘junk’ for profit later on. It’s irritating that it is technically Sumi’s money. I mean, he could have at least sent the kids to school or something with the money. Scans by xiuxiu.

Title: Change. Ageha’s mother goes to her room to find Ageha on the floor with all her things scattered around. She exclaims what happened for it’s like a tornado just passed through the room. Ageha cries that no matter where she looked, she couldn’t find it. Her mother asks maybe it is in her clothes in the laundry bin. Ageha exclaims that she just looked for it there. Her mother says that is really strange and maybe a thief has stolen it. Ageha immediately imagines Hana taking her necklace. She cannot believe that will happen but it is possible. She immediately goes to Hana’s room. She knocks on the door and calls out to Hana if she’s inside. Ageha opens the door and find the room empty. Her mother is shock that Hana isn’t inside. Her mother angrily exclaims where Hana went since it is already late at night. Ageha suddenly remembers what Ryuusei told her about Hana pretending to be her [Ageha] to test people. Meanwhile, at Hayato’s apartment, Hayato offers Hana/’Ageha’ a glass of tea. Hana asks if she can sit beside him. Hayato smiles and pats the side of the sofa. She smiles then sits down to drink her tea. While they are drinking the iced tea, Hana asks if he can repeat what he said before on the phone. This made Hayato choke on his iced tea. After coughing, Hayato blushes and says that those words are something that cannot be repeated many times. She whines that she went there specifically for that reason. While Hayato is looking away to probably think of what to say, Hana looks at the tickets. She is about to call him out when the phone rings.
Hayato picks up his phone then shows to ‘Ageha’ that her house is calling. He exclaims if she told her family that she is going there. This surprises Hana. It is Ageha who is calling Hayato from their landline phone. Hana exclaims for Hayato not to answer it. Hayato is puzzled and tells her that if he didn’t answer it then the others will be worried about her. Hana takes Hayato’s phone from him and exclaims that she will call them herself and so, he doesn’t have to answer it. Hana press the hang up button then starts to dial. Hayato sweatdrops. At home, Ageha wonders why it suddenly didn’t connect when it was ringing a while ago. She plans to call again when the phone starts ringing. Ageha exclaims hello. Standing away from Hayato, Hana says, “It’s me. I’m currently at the convenient store to meet a friend. After a little chat, I’ll quickly go home so don’t worry. Goodbye.” Ageha shouts for her to wait but Hana has already hanged up the phone. She thinks that she just called Hayato and immediately, Hana called up. “So, she is currently at sensei’s place!!” Back at Hayato’s place, ‘Ageha’ happily exclaims that she has already called so it’s alright. Hayato just sheepishly smiles at her. He stands up and says that like this, it will just make them worry so she should go home. “I’ll walk you there.” He starts walking towards the door. When he is about to open it, Hana suddenly hugs him from behind. Hayato calls out to her. Hana exclaims that she doesn’t want to go home.
Meanwhile, Ageha thinks that this is a really bad situation. She hurries to the door while wondering why she didn’t realize it early that Hana has took her phone and necklace. “She is definitely pretending to be me and went to sensei’s place.” She feels ill when she imagines the two kissing. “I should quickly stop her!!” When she opens the door, her father has just arrived. Her father asks where she plans to go since it is already late at night. Ageha stammers that she is going to the convenient store. Her father asks if she is planning to go there in that outfit. [She is in her sleeping wear] He exclaims that it’s already late so she should just go there tomorrow.” Ageha quickly thinks of an excuse and tells her father that Hana has forgotten her wallet so she is going to give it to her. Her father exclaims that it is Hana again. To Ageha’s shock, her father offers to go there with her after she changed her clothes. Back at Hayato’s apartment, Hayato looks at ‘Ageha’ who is clinging on him. He remembers Lan telling him to be more considerate of Ageha for she is feeling uneasy. Hayato pats ‘Ageha’s head and tells her that he’ll let her stay for an hour. Hana uses this chance to drop the ticket on the floor. Hayato notices it. The first ticket shows, ‘Sex ticket’. Hana quickly bends down and grabs it. With a teasing look, Hayato asks if she plans on using it. Blushing, Hana denies it. Hayato asks why she brought it if it’s not true. Looking away, Hana says she doesn’t know. Hayato laughs that he made those tickets but she never used it so he has forgotten about it. He then asks which of those tickets she wants to use.
Hana tears off a ticket and gives Hayato the kiss ticket. Hayato takes the ticket and say that they try that one. Sitting on the sofa, Hayato tells her to sit on his lap. Hana blushes and is speechless. She then tells Hayato to dimmer the lights. This totally shocks Hayato. He exclaims, “You said..what? The ‘you’ today is very gutsy.” Hana exclaims that she isn’t and it is because her eye is still a bit swollen so she is a bit embarrassed if he sees it when they are close to each other. Hayato did as told even as he says that he thinks that it is already healed. He comments that from the start to end, she is a good kid. He asks if the lights are fine now. Hana then stops with her acting [judging from the look on her eyes] and goes to Hayato while saying, “Thanks.” At some convenient store, Ageha’s father asks if Hana is really in that convenient store. Ageha just lamely says yes. She wonders how did things turned out that way when she doesn’t have time to go there for if she didn’t hurry then who knows what Hana is going to do. She still imagines the two kissing. Her father then exclaims that Hana isn’t there. Ageha angrily says that maybe Hana has gone home. She wonders how she would lose her father or maybe she’ll go there with him. She dismisses that latter thought since if she did that, then Hayato’s position will be..
When they went out of the convenient store, her father suddenly exclaims if that is Hana. A woman across the street is walking while writing a message on her phone. Ageha thinks that it isn’t because Hana doesn’t have that kind of outfit. She knows that her father is mistaken but she decides to take this chance. While her father tries to cross the street to call out to the woman whom he thinks is Hana, Ageha quickly runs off. “Sensei, please don’t be mistaken.” At Hayato’s apartment, he caresses ‘Ageha’s face. Hana holds his hand. He then kisses her on the head. While holding her head, he kisses the bridge of her nose then near her ear. Hana is blushing. Just before Hayato is about to kiss her on the lips, he takes her butterfly pendant and kisses it. This reminds Hana about what Hayato said that if that butterfly is her [Ageha], then since the time when they have gone steady, she has already increased in his heart ten times. This flustered Hana but then, it’s dark so Hayato doesn’t know. He then kisses her on the lips. Suddenly, he notices a teardrop on his hand. He looks up and see from the light outside that ‘Ageha’ is looking away and crying. This surprises Hayato that he asks what the matter is and what’s with her. Hayato is still puzzled as ‘Ageha’ is bitterly crying. She then looks at him. [She somewhat look disappointed.] Hayato looks surprised as if he realizes something. He then says, “Kana..?”
So that is how Hayato learns that it is Hana all along. I guess she cried because she realizes how much Hayato likes Ageha. I was thinking that maybe Hayato won’t trust Hana again after what happened but then, he doesn’t seem to be the type to hold a grudge. Too bad, Ageha was a bit too late after the many detours that she has to pass through like her father and belatedly realizing about what Hana did. I’m actually amazed that she can still think clearly and not really panicked. It will indeed be complicated if she brought her father there. The way Hana is acting, she could indeed pass for Ageha – being shy and everything. I guess the reason why she doesn’t want her eyes be seen by Hayato is because he might read her eyes or she can’t have eye contact with him else, he’ll know. While Ren is deeply kissing Himeko, Himeko remembers what Ren told her that if she says that she likes him then he will really like her to the point of kneeling down to her. Himeko then grabs Ren’s shirt as the two are now bending down the floor while still deeply kissing each other. Himeko thinks that she cannot confess since her pride as Sakura Himeko won’t allow it but then, if she said that she ‘like’ him then, Ren will truly become hers. The two stop kissing. Himeko looks at him as she wonders if she says it, would he be at her side always. “If that is how it is..then I..” Ren tells Himeko to say it. Himeko then shouts, “What are you talking about? I’m Sakura Himeko! I couldn’t possibly like you!” Himeko freezes as she thinks that she still can’t confess. Himeko exclaims that he had kissed her so he should be the one who say it first. “Liking beautiful me is but natural. Do not be embarrassed, say it.” Blushing, she pouts as she wonders if Ren would say it. To her surprise, Ren stands in front of her and says, “That’s right, I..” Just then, one of Himeko’s fan boys enters the room thus interrupting them. Fanboy shouts that for them to help out since the store is overflowing with customers. This made Himeko really angry at her fanboy. She angrily says that she knows so she’ll quickly go. Fanboy cries to Ren asking what he did wrong. Ren says that he might have did something wrong but then, for him [Ren], he came at the right time. Crying fanboy is puzzled.
At the café, while holding a tray of drinks, Himeko is pouting. She is angry at the timing of the fanboy who entered just when she is about to hear Ren’s feelings. “But then, kissing me like that. Can I assume that Oozora Ren also likes me? But then, I cannot totally trust the things that Ren does. But if I ask him about it now, it would seem that I like Oozora Ren. I want to make Oozora Ren say it himself.” Fanboy calls out to gloomy Himeko to quickly bring the drinks over. Ren appears from behind her and asks why she is staring off like that. This surprises Himeko that she drops the glasses from the tray. Fanboy asks if she is alright. Himeko says that she is okay and she is going to clean it up. Before she can pick it up, Ren stops her and says that it is dangerous. While holding her hand, it seems that Ren is going to lick it. This made Himeko blush and pull her hand away. She shouts that she is going to get a broom. She then bumps into the wall/table. A fanboy asks if she is alright. [By the way, Himeko has 4 fanboys]. Two of the fanboys are talking to each other that ever since Himeko came out from the clinic, she is acting strange. They are surprised when they notice Ren laughing. One of the fanboys asks Ren what he did to Himeko. Ren says that Himeko’s reaction is too candid and very cute. The fanboys think that Ren isn’t answering the question. Ren says that it is alright even if he made the move first in confessing since he gets to see Himeko become nervous because of him. Looking dark, Ren says that his super S [sadist] switch is turned on. “I’ll definitely make you confess.” The two fanboys are shock that Ren would say such things. The two fanboys talk to each other. They know that Ren likes Himeko and he doesn’t even try to keep it a secret. Himeko also likes Ren though it makes them sad and not want to accept it. They think that if the two go on like that it will be very difficult. The one who will be difficult and scary is Himeko. [I think since she is going to vent her frustration on them] The two stare at each other then both agree with something.
At school, their teacher tells the class that their café won an award for the most sales during the festival. The reward is everyone will have free tickets to a water amusement park. Fanboys exclaim that it is all thanks to Himeko. Himeko says, “But of course.” The fanboys tell her that the water amusement park is quite fun and famous so in the next break/no-school day, they should go. A fanboy asks if Ren would want to go, too. Himeko perks up when he says yes. Himeko agrees to go with them. So, it is decided. During class, Himeko looks at her calendar and thinks that it is three days before the break. She plans to quickly buy a swimsuit then wonders why she is doing that when she won’t be alone with Ren. She notices Ren looking at her with his finger on his lips. Himeko looks away and blushes. Himeko thinks that she wants for that day to come soon so that next time, she can ask about Ren’s feelings for her. On that day, Himeko is standing by the station and wonder if she came too early. Ren arrives and says she is quite early. Himeko denies that it is very early. Ren asks where the others are. Just then, Ren gets an email. Ren shows it to Himeko. The fanboys say that they had a stomachache from food poisoning so they can’t go but they shouldn’t worry about them. Ren wonders what they ate. Himeko wonders if that means that the plan is cancelled. She becomes gloomy and decides to punish the fanboys next time. Ren says that it can’t be helped that today.. Himeko turns around and says that she knows and that is they should go home.
Ren says what is she saying, of course, the two of them are going since they are already there. Himeko turns around looking surprised then delighted that now she has a chance. Himeko says that if he wants to go then she can accompany him. Ren then says not to force herself and they should just go home. Himeko tells him to wait as Ren starts to walk away. She wonders if he is really going home. She thinks that she couldn’t say now that she wants to go. Ren stops and turns back to her. Holding his hand out, he says that he is just kidding and they should go. Himeko blushes and says if he want to go then.. Ren says that she is still saying that. Ren laughs and says, “But, that is like your style.” Himeko is surprised when Ren grabs her hand. Ren says it is okay since they are alone. “This is a date.” This made Himeko blush in surprise. As they walk away, Himeko’s fanboys are whispering if the two have left. One of them exclaims that it is going according to plan. The food poisoning is just an alibi. “For Himeko-classmate’s happiness, for Ren, for the smooth progress of the two, we, the servants are going to do this by ourselves.” The other three fanboys shouts in agreement. How nice of those fanboys to help them get together. ^^ It would be indeed hard without a little push since Himeko has her pride while Ren has his sadist tendencies. [I will be using the official names for the summaries from now on. Kana will be called Hana. Chou will be called Ageha. I’ll be calling Kyuu by his name, Hayato. Scans are by hurt132 from BW]
Title: Sudden Approach Ageha narrates that when Shinobu said that he was saved because of her, the truth is she is saved by him. Ageha happily greets the staff in the café a good morning. They say that she isn’t wearing her eye patch anymore. Ageha happily says that it is already healed. Shinobu says that’s good. Ageha thanks him for yesterday. The two smile at each other. While working, Ageha thinks that even if she hates herself, nothing will change. She thinks that what she lacks is confidence. “No matter if it’s Hana, Shindou [Shinobu’s surname], or the others [her friends], if I also trust in them and just honestly tell them then things won’t turn out this way. The same with sensei..” In the toilet for cleaning duty, Ageha looks at her phone and there is no message from Hayato. She gloomily thinks that ever since that time, there was no calls and messages from him. She remembered Hayato telling his sister-in-law that if Ageha likes that guy and would want to go steady with that guy then he’ll just let her go. Ageha looks distressed but she tells herself not to take it to heart for he hasn’t told her that they are going to break up. She doesn’t want to keep on thinking gloomy things and she should just need to talk to him. She starts writing a message to Hayato on her phone asking if she can disturb/talk to him today.
Later on, at the café, Ageha just served the food to a couple of happy customers. Shinobu notices her butterfly pendant and tells Ageha about it being exposed. Ageha apologizes and quickly hides it in her uniform. Shinobu says that she always wears it. He asks where she bought it. Ageha looks surprised and she wonders that herself. Shinobu realizes something so he asks if rather than she buying it, it was given to her by someone else. Ageha blushes and says that is true. Shinbou looks a bit stunned. He is about to ask if it is..when Meiji and Bibi, Ageha’s friends, drop by the café. Ageha is surprised that they came. They sit down and wonder what they should eat. Ageha looks a bit embarrassed as she goes to them and apologizes about what happened before regarding hiding the fact that she is going steady with Hayato. Her friends say that Ageha can’t do anything about it because of the identity of her boyfriend. They tell her that if she is really regretful about what she did then, she should treat them. Ageha happily agrees. After serving them their food, her friends think that it is delicious. Meiji comments that Ageha is really good for being able to keep it a secret. She asks when they started going steady. Ageha says that it’s on mid-June. Bibi exclaims about Ageha having an adult boyfriend. Meiji asks what she is saying when Bibi’s boyfriend is also older than her. Bibi says that even so.. Ageha smiles then ask where Inoue is. They tell her that they called Inoue but she doesn’t want to go. They say that it could be because it was a major shock to Inoue about Ageha going steady with Kyuu-sensei because she is ‘clean/virtuous’. They happily tell Ageha to just give Inoue some time to cool down and they will call her up again. Ageha smiles and says yes.
In Hayato’s apartment, Hana rings the doorbell but no one answers. [I realized her name is spelled as Hana because her pendant necklace is spelled that way ^^; ] Hana whines that Hayato is not home either and where could he be. She decides to call him and only gets a voice message that her call can’t be connected. Hana hangs up the phone and notices that she has called Hayato 4 times – once on 7/23, twice on 7/24 and once on 7/25. She bends down and wonders what she is doing. She takes out her wallet from her bag and looks at Hayato’s calling card. She decides to try email him. She then notices Ran’s [Hayato’s sister-in-law] calling card. Ran is a color coordinator. Ran has given her a calling card when she has mistaken Hana for Ageha. Ran has told her that if she is interested in Aura-Soma then she go see her. [According to about.com, Aura-Soma is is a form of color therapy, energy work and "soul therapy" that supports you spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically.] Later on, Lan with her kids meet up with Hana/‘Ageha’. Hana bought some drinks and apologizes for making Lan specially go there. Lan says that it is alright and she actually wanted to talk to her personally rather than on the phone. Hana tells her that she can’t contact Hayato and if Hayato is really busy. The text is pretty small and blurred here but I think Lan said that during this time Hayato is busy with studies and so temporarily, he would turn his phone off. Lan tells her not to mind it. Hana sighs. Lan then asks ‘Ageha’ if she is uneasy because of what happened earlier. Hana is puzzled. Lan says that because someone else has confessed to her so she is really happy that Hayato thought that she is going to leave him that is why he is being ‘disagreeable’ and said that he is going to withdraw/let her go. Lan happily tells ‘Ageha’ that is just Hayato being uneasy. “You can relax. From what I can see, he already likes you.” Hana looks surprised and just lamely agree. Lan tells ‘Ageha’ that she has told Hayato to be more affectionate yet he didn’t called her up. She wonders what he is doing.
Somewhere else, Hayato is typing up something. Marui, his teacher, gives him another set of papers to analyze the data. Hayato and others are busy doing paper work for an inspection. Then, they are happy when someone brought them food. Later on, Ageha is ringing the doorbell in Hayato’s apartment. There is no answer. Ageha begins to wonder if Hayato is avoiding her because he didn’t leave any message on her phone, he didn’t call her and he isn’t at home. She then snaps herself out of that way of thinking and tries to think things calmly. She returns home as she remembers Hayato telling her that he is busy. She thinks that if he’s free, he will definitely call her. She puts her phone on top of the drawer and her necklace on a small tree-like holder. Her mother asks if she is going to eat. Ageha says that she is going to take a bath first. While inside the bath, her phone rings. It is Hayato. Hana hears the phone ringing and it seems she just came out of the bath. She notices who is calling so she answers it. She says hello. Hayato calls out if it’s chrysalis. Hayato is walking home. He apologizes for calling her so late. He asks what happened afterwards and if things are okay with her and her friends. Hana says yes. Hayato says is that so and if there is any other problem, she can talk to him. He then says that Lan has emailed him that Ageha already knows about their misunderstanding before. Hana says, “Yes, she said that sensei has fallen for me.” This surprises Hayato and he blushes really red. Hayato then says, “..that idiot.” Hana asks if it isn’t true. Still blushing, Hayato says no and asks if she is wearing that necklace he gave her. Hana looks at the Ageha’s necklace and says yes. He says if that butterfly is her than that..compared to the time when they become steady, in his heart, she has already multiplied 10x. “So from now on, I’ll also be in your care.” To Hayato’s shock, the phone is hanged up on him. He exclaims why she hanged up.
Hana has angrily thrown the phone on the bed. In her anger, she grabs Ageha’s necklace but she bumps into Ageha’s bag that its contents spill all over the floor. From Ageha’s organizer book, Hana notices the kissing tickets that Hayato made for Ageha before. She looks surprised while she is holding it. After Ageha finished eating and washing the dishes, she returns to her room and wondering if there is any message. She didn’t find her phone on the drawer and wonders where she left it. She then notices that her necklace is gone. Ageha quickly goes to her mother’s room. Her mother is putting on a facial mask. She asks her mother if she has seen her butterfly necklace which she left on its stand. Her mother says that she didn’t see it. She asks if she really put it there. Ageha exclaims that she did before she took a bath. Her mother tells her to just try looking for it for she [mother] always find something she lost if she look for it herself. Ageha goes back to her room and starts searching. She throws out all the contents of her wastebasket. Only pieces of paper are in it. She shakes her bag upside down and it is not there. She pulls away her bed sheets and it isn’t there. “Where could it be?” At Hayato’s apartment, Hana is wearing the necklace. She is also dressed up like Ageha. She rings the door bell. Hayato has just changed clothes. He opens the door and asks why she is there. He thinks Hana is Ageha. ‘Ageha’ says that she doesn’t want to hear it from the phone but she wants him to hear it from him personally. Blushing a bit, he invites her in. Hana is somewhat covering her eyes. He asks her why she is doing that. Hana says that she forgot her eye patch so her eyelid is still a bit swollen. “I hope you won’t always stare at me.” Pouting, Hayato says that he doesn’t mind it. Hayato goes in first. Hana looks up and looks determined. She is holding Ageha’s tickets. [I think the tickets are folded but the one shown on top is ‘Sex ticket’] Hayato asks if she wants some tea. Hana says okay. Then, the door closes.
Hana is really lucky in this chapter. She managed to know what’s happening between Hayato and Ageha, gets to answer that call, find those tickets and Ageha’s necklace is on the table. So everything is perfect for her to pretend as Ageha. The temptation to do it is too hard to resist. I think she is doing it on a whim because she is jealous of Ageha. I mean, she isn’t thinking of the consequence like what if they found that that Hana is pretending to be her twin. Obviously, she doesn’t care about Ageha’s feelings. She wants, so she’ll get it no matter what. If only Ageha was stronger then, she could have shouted this to Hana when Hana is telling Ageha her faults. I mean, it is better to be be clueless and hurting people rather than deliberately doing something to hurt people especially if it’s one’s own twin. I guess it can’t be helped that they don’t seem like siblings because they are separated from each other when they were young and they thought of each other as rivals. I think Hayato needs to sit these two girls down for them to talk and sort out their differences. I think Shinobu is no full as to not know who could have given the necklace to Ageha. Too bad they are interrupted when he is about to ask this to Ageha. I think I know why it’s better for a teacher like Hayato not to tell people where he lives. If more girls know about it, they would just go to his house to pester him. He might need to move to another place. I think the twins are similar in terms of their want of attention. They are like the uneasy types who get nervous when the other party doesn’t return their calls. They would even go to the other party’s house. I guess it is because it has been a few days already. Hana just takes it to a higher degree than Ageha. So, from fighting for their parents’ attention, it has become a fight for Hayato’s attention. Oh ya, I like Hana’s overall outfit when she met Lan. It is cute. =P

Weekly Jump Update: Bleach, Naruto, Reborn and PSYREN

Kira apologizes to Yamamoto for being weak in Bleach [c. 338]. Even after a stab, Ayon is still alive after some loud screaming. Ayon morphs by growing huge. It looks really angry. It attacks Yamamoto but he easily stops it with just one hand. Yamamoto asks if it is only capable of killing people. It attacks again so Yamamoto unleashes his zanpaku and cuts it into half. It is still alive even if it is a bleeding mess. In the end, Yamamoto just fries it. ^^; It is such a one-sided battle. I guess that goes to show how powerful Yamamoto is.
Kohamaru plans to not get caught by Pain else it’s all over for him just like the others but he ended up being caught in Naruto [c. 428]. Pain asks him where is Naruto. Kohamaru says he doesn’t know while he is trying to figure out Pain’s ability. Ebisu tries to save him but he just got kicked away. Kohamaru turns out to be a clone and he attacks Pain with a rasengan. After Pain is down, Kohamaru shouts his name and tells Pain not to forget it. Meanwhile, Tsunade recognizes the Pain she is facing. Pain asks her where is Naruto. Tsunade denies that she knows. Pain tells her that they have already have the other tailed beasts and soon there will be war because the ninja villages are no longer stable. He hinted that they are on the winning side since they are powerful. Tsunade shouts at him not to underestimate them. She accuses him of being a terrorist for destroying the stability that their forefathers had worked for. Pain tells her that her peace only brought violence to them. Tsunada answers back that not all the things did by her village is right but she doesn’t approve of what Pain and others are doing. Pain asks again where Naruto is. Tsunade says that they will fight him and he is wrong about one thing since Naruto is strong.
In the Cipher department, Shizune and others discuss that the chakra receivers are used to control the dead = all of those Pain people. Shizune suspects that someone else is controlling all of them. She thinks that the code left by Jiraiya means that the real Pain isn’t among the Pain-s that they are seeing. Inoichi says that it is like their ability but Pain can control six bodies at the same time. Ino theorizes that person is nearby else he can’t control the Pain-s that precisely. Shizune says that they should find Tsunade to inform her about this so that they will search for the one who is controlling the Pain-s. They are suddenly attacked. Long haired Pain had taken hold of Shizune as he threaten the others not to move else she dies. To Ino and other’s surprise, long haired Pain reads Shizune’s mind. He then informs to the other Pain that Naruto isn’t in the village but is in Mount Myouboku. So, Pain now knows where Naruto is. I don’t think it’s practical for him to go there else, Naruto might have already left when he gets there. I mean it took him a long time to get to Konoha. ^^; If I were him, I think it’s more practical to kidnap someone then lure Naruto to him in his own territory. Even if the elders and etc, would object, I’m sure Naruto will still go even if he put himself in danger. I wonder if Tsunade and others will battle it out with Pain even if ever, he is going to retreat. About Kohamaru being able to use rasengan, I guess the author is showing that the young generation is becoming more powerful since they are the hope, etc. I actually doubt with just one blow, Pain is down permanently by that. He makes an excellent hostage. Lots of politics here that I can’t say who is right and who is not. Of course, those who disagree with their beliefs are one’s enemy. Hehe, Tsunade tells Pain not to underestimate Naruto but then, she is underestimating Pain. =P
Fran asks Bel if that is really his brother or it’s just an illusion in Katekyo Hitman Reborn! [c. 222]. Jill shows his mole and scars caused by Bel. Bel tells Fran that their relationship has been bad since they are young from constant bullying which escalated into trying to kill each other. In the end, he won. Jill says that Bel is saying things that only benefited him because he is better in everything compared to Bel. He calls Bel a fake genius because he has to do underhand tactics to win against him. Bel asks why he is still alive. Jill shows him his mare ring which enabled him to live on. This proves that he is one of the 6 funeral wreaths. Fran quickly informs Squalo about this. Squalo is busy as well as the other Varia so Squalo tells him and Bel to deal with their enemy on their own. Bel agrees to this plan. Fran takes out his hell ring which surprises Jill and his butler that Varia has that ring. Jill says that he will make it disappear but Fran just tells him that he doesn’t think so for he is just a long haired version of Bel. Olgelt exclaims that he will show Fran their true powers. The four then quickly put their rings into their respective boxes. I find Bel’s life story told like that a bit amusing. I’m beginning to like Fran. They may say he is un-cute but I think he’s cute. ^^; It is nice to see some of the other Varia’s powers even the ‘clowns’. =P I wonder if it’s a trend to have male healers in contrast to always making females as the healers.
Haruhiko looks down on the kids that they would have to fight in PSYREN [c. 51] . Lan doesn’t look willing to fight them. Haruhiko has to shout at him that they need the money. Frederica fights with her fire but gets zapped by Haruhiko. Haruhiko is about to attack Marie but Shao protects her. Frederica goes berserk that they tried to hurt Marie. She unleashes a huge fire explosion. Marie shouts to run. After the explosion, Frederica is exhausted. Shao notices a box disappearing so he shouts at Marie that the enemies are still around. Haruhiko attacks Shao who protected Frederica. Marie tries to shout for him to stop but Haruhiko doesn’t want to. Marie is then protected by Lan who told Haruhiko that they are saved because of Marie’s warning. Lan has decided not to fight the kids. This made Haruhiko furious as he shouts that they can’t undo what they have done and they shouldn’t give up and just run away. Haruhiko is surprised to see Shao standing up. Shao has decided to fight him for real as he comments to Haruhiko that his foolishness has put his friends in danger. So, I guess that makes Shao the most powerful? Frederica doesn’t seem to be able to control her power since with just one powerful attack and that’s it for her. Marie doesn’t seem to be the type for battles, either. Well, it seems that Lan isn’t such a bad guy. Since he seems to have a soft heart for children, I’m guessing he needs the money for his kid or a relative who is probably sick or something.

Hiyo! Just some random ramblings to get some things off my chest. ^^ I have been a bit busy helping at the store lately so I can’t concentrate much on summarizing = tired when I get home that I just want to just read/watch something. I’ll probably do the easy ones first and well, depending on my mood. In the recent chapters of some shoujo series, there is that annoying/mean girl who is causing trouble to the couples. It can be quite irritating. I feel like it is becoming like a soap opera but then, I know, such characters are needed to make things interesting. There are teasers here so don’t read if you don’t want to be spoiled until the proper summary comes out. Okay, so, there was Chiori in Skip Beat! I think Kyouko can handle her but then, what if the lead character isn’t like her. Then, it is like a soap opera wherein a mean girl gets to easily make things miserable for the lead character. And I don’t mean like what Meg does to Fumino in Faster than A Kiss. I don’t like those stories and I usually skip to that part when the lead character is ‘getting back’ at the antagonist. I can only cross my fingers and hope that it isn’t too dragging. Is this a trend or just coincidence?
First, there is Anna from Akuma to Love Song. I’m trying to empathize with her but then, pulling ‘that’ which makes me think, so much for playing fair. Melody is right about her but I didn’t expect her to interfere that way. So, that will cause misunderstand between Maria and Shin and I guess that makes Maria x Yuusuke possible again. I did mention my preference for this series so..sigh. Then, in Hadashi de Bara wo Fume, there is Keiko whom I tend to call as the maid from hell. =P She really takes the cake with her maneuverings. Wow, she is such an actress. Sumi is just too nice and Keiko takes advantage of it. I find it quite strange for the couple not to notice when she kept on interrupting them. ^^; In Bokutachi wa Shitte Shimatta, Matsushima shook things up for Kotori. Then, Hana/Kana from Papillon just never learns, does she? She actually pulled that trick again and Kyuu fell for it. ^^;; As for the other series, well, I’m stalling Kimi ni Todoke after reading last month’s chapter wherein they totally misunderstood each other. Hopefully, the new chapter will encourage me to want to catch up with it again. VB Rose has skipped two chapters. The one uploaded is chapter 77. It bypassed the problem between Ageha and Yukari regarding Ageha’s work problem. On chapter 77, that problem is somewhat resolved and a new arc is starting. I might wait for some time if the missing ones will be uploaded.
Then, if I’m not in the mood for ‘depressing’ series, I would summarize Zenbu Chodai, Boku wa Kiss de Uso wo Tsuku, Yoru Café, and Oresame Teacher. I also plan to catch up with some summaries Ojousama wa Oyomesama and Otomen again. Hehe..I still can’t let go of those two series. As for Venus Capriccio, well, I pretty much dropped it since there are no new scans before. ^^; Now, someone is scanning it again so I might start again at the part when Julian is introduced. I’m still patiently waiting for Hana to Akuma Chinese scans. The author has not let me down. Chapter 22’s final scenes from raw scans are really jaw-dropping. It is actually something I would expect from Vampire Knight. Poor Hana, she shouldn’t have witnessed that. Regarding Kimi wa Kirakira, I won’t be summarizing it anymore because it’s already finished in Japan. ^^;; I’ll probably just put up a review when I finished reading it. Anyway, that’s what to expect in the coming weeks/months aside from the usual other series. =P By the way, I might be out of town from the 23-25th so unless the raws are early, I might not know what happened in Vampire Knight until I return.
Finally, about those pictures above, I’m just going to mention them briefly since I have seen the scans. For the latter two, I only saw the raws. ^^;; I just read chapter 1 of Plastic Girl by Shiraishi Yuki. The Chinese title is ‘Transformed Angel’ ^^; It’s okay and a lot of people think that it’s like Charming Junkie. I can’t say really because I haven’t read that series. ^^; The story is about Maya, a first year high schooler who is a starting to become a model but she has a hard time with it then enters Pierre, a boy who helps her. Hehe, he seems be the one delivering food and cross-dresses at the side, too. =P Maya actually looks a bit like Tsubaki of Kyou Koi wo Hajimemasu. ^^; Anyway, it seems Intercross is going to scanlate it since they uploaded a summary. Next, there is Toukyou Kareshi [Tokyo Boyfriend] by Makia Nao. According to Awakended Memories scanlation group, it is about Sukusukuto, a girl from the country who is promised to get married to a guy but there are two guys so which one is it. That plot somewhat reminds me of Triple Kiss. If I’m just basing it on the raw scans, I actually thought it’s a girl going to high school and helped out by a good looking guy -> 1. Giving her his bento when she spilled hers. 2. Giving her a new hairdo and 3. Stopping a ‘rapist’. Then, in the last scene someone is watching when the two hold hands.
Lastly, there is Sora Log [Sky Log] ~ Tenohira no hoshi by Mitsuki Kako. According to Aerandria Scans, it is about Hikaru, a girl who is in astronomy club who meets a boy who turns out to be-- Well, I don’t know what that ‘to be’ suppose to be because I can’t read Japanese. ^^; The art isn’t that pretty. From the 20+ of 50 pages scans, it seems intriguing. Hikaru taking pictures of sky on her phone then she drops it. Good looking guy gives it back to her. Both seem to be attracted to each other. Then, that night, at the playground, Hikaru is taking pictures of the shooting star. She remembers the guy giving her phone back and she cries. She laughs it off then bumps into a guy. It’s that guy again who also seems to be crying. They had a talk then he leaves. She tries to catch up to him but she bumps her shin on the see-saw. She wonders about the tear in his eye then meets with her friends. The scene changes to the astronomy club wherein, I think Hikaru’s brother is also in. He seems to have a sister complex that is why he is sad when Hikaru leaves the room after scolding him for threatening a guy who just called her. She seems to be looking for someone then goes out to enjoy the snow. Someone sees her from the window and starts playing the piano. She then slips and injured herself. She looks up to see the same guy opening the window and jumping down to her. He throws his coat at her then carries her to the clinic. After bandaging her foot, he left just in time to see Hikaru’s brother coming in. Hikaru picks up a small pendant/compass[?] with a small chain on the floor. That night, Hikaru is at the playground thinking of what the others say about the guy while holding the pendant. The guy is also there then they talk. She gives back the pendant. He then says something which surprises her. The guy seems like a loner-delinquent type so maybe it’s like delinquent and nice girl love story and since it’s about stars, etc, it does seem romantic. ^^ So, if you are interested, wait for the scanlators. =P From BW, scan of Sky log is by Noveven while Plastic Girl scan is by §星空ツ泪.
