About this blog:
I usually write about the manga that I'm currently reading. At times, I write about the anime I watched. Since it is hard to share and talk my thoughts about a certain manga series when people don't know about it, I tend to summarize them from Chinese scanlations so beware, this blog is filled with spoilers and they are not 100% perfect. I'm partly doing this to improve my Chinese. ^^ Feel free to point out my mistakes. ^^ Occasionally, I would blog about myself and other misc. things.

At the car, Miruku wakes up in shock as she doesn’t recognizes Damien until he wears his glasses and fixes his hair like a nerd. Miruku is surprised when Damien asks her if she wants to see her mother. Miruku tells him that she always gets in touch with her mother on the phone. When Damien asks what about lately, Miruku confesses that it has been two months since then and they weren’t able to talk for a long time anymore since it seems that she is busy with research. Damien tells her that her mother is actually in seclusion since she locked herself up in some research facility in Switzerland wherein she won’t respond no matter who called her. Damien asks if Miruku is worried about her, if so, there is a way to contact her mother and that is through ‘Hallelujah’. Miruku knows about that game which she played before until she became too fascinated with other new games that she didn’t play it anymore. When she asks if her mother is really there, Damien gives her a laptop computer and asks her if she wants to go and verify it. As they register into the game, Damien asks if Miruku is really Mamahara Kurumi’s ‘daughter’. Miruku says that she is, but she cannot answer when he asks her about her father. Soon, Mei wakes up to find herself feeling fresh [<- doesn’t stink anymore] and with a fresh change of clothes. Rihito tells her that she is in Miruku’s room. Mei peeks out of the room to see Daimon in full military uniform reporting to someone on the laptop computer. Daimon was told that Miruku possesses the brain which they are very proud of and she is a top secret of their country so Daimon is to retrieve her immediately. Daimon is also ordered to eliminate Miruku if ever she falls into the hands of another country. To Mei’s shock, Daimon just says, ‘understood’. Mei comes out of the room and says that Miruku has indeed been taken away and could he tell her that it isn’t true about eradicating Miruku. Mei exclaims at him when he couldn’t answer her. Rihito reminds Mei that Daimon has his own position. Mei asks isn’t Daimon suppose to protect Miruku as her butler. Daimon confesses that aside from being a butler, he is also part of the country’s safe-keeping troops. He is also tasked to hinder anyone who plans to use Miruku’s brain for evil deeds as part of his government position. Mei doesn’t want to hear that. Her outburst is stopped by Rihito who reminds her that what is important right now is to find Miruku. Rihito asks about Miruku’s GPS and whatever bugs they have on her. Daimon says that because the school’s system, which can find someone within 300km, has been broken, they cannot use those to find her. They weren’t able to find her in any sea or air ports. The butlers sweatdrop when Mei is making ‘chu chu’ sounds and tells them that she doesn’t understand any of those stuff since she is just an ordinary person. Then, Rihito gets a message from MiruMiru telling Meimei and others that she will be waiting for them at the crab village. Mei immediately borrows a laptop computer and starts doing something on it. It is only then Rihito finds out that Mei and Miruku are playing online games with those usernames. Mei tells them that Miruku is currently in ‘Hallelujah’.
In Hallelujah, at crab village, to Daimen’s irritation, Miruku is busy shopping for all sorts of weapons. Since he doesn’t want to buy her stuff, Miruku starts throwing a tantrum that her papa doesn’t want to buy her something and does it mean that he hates her. Daimen blushes really red over this especially since that everyone starts saying that he’s the father so in the end, Daimen bought it for her. Miruku continues to call him ‘father’ as she thanks him for buying her the gun. Miruku is somewhat surprised when Daimen tells him to quit calling him father else he’ll kill her. Miruku ends up calling him ‘papa’ again that Michael has to stop Damien from killing Miruku as he reminds him that killing someone in Hallelujah is a grave crime. Miruku starts to think that she hasn’t really thought of her father but then, perhaps it is because she has Daimon. She begins to wonder if everyone at school is safe but then, she is worried about her mother. Then, she wonders how Daimen and his butler got out of the school. Suddenly, there is bright light and poof, appears Mei who made a mistake in how to operate the game since it has been a long time. The two friends are re-united. When Miruku asks how she knew they were there. Mei tells her that they got her message on Rihito’s iphone. Miruku tells her that she didn’t send that message. They are puzzled as to who send that message when they realize that Rihito is in pixel form and in overalls. [<- think Mario brothers] Mei complains about his old fashioned outfit and wants him to wear something cool. Mei says that she would lend him some money to update himself. She asks it from Miruku who in turn asks it from Damien. =P When Mei confirms that guy as Damien, she starts her long speech of how despicable he is for kidnapping Miruku for their duel and he is garbage among all humans. Mei is surprised when Damien says that he wasn’t interested in the duel and Miruku says that she wasn’t kidnapped. Miruku clarifies that she wants to see her mother and Damien is going to guide her there. At a side, Miruku talks privately with Mei about her mother being in seclusion though she shouldn’t bother her mother but she is worried about her health. Mei still finds Damien and his butler suspicious that she doesn’t know if they ought to trust them. Miruku then learns that everyone is okay at school. Damien then says that they ought to be going. Then, upgraded into coolness, Rihito also tells Mei that they should go. [He looks like FF8’s Squall but long hair =P Maybe it is the jacket. ^^;] While Mei confirms if he is really Rihito, Miruku and Damien freak out over how much money that upgrade would have cost.
They arrive at a Chinese gate with two rabbit-faced lion guardians on both sides. Mei comments about the crowd of people standing outside. They all wonder how to get through the gate and if it is true that inside contains the outcome of Dr. Mamahara’s research. Damien calls out to everyone that Miruku is the key to open the gate. Damien tells Miruku to touch the gate. Even if she is a bit apprehensive about it, Miruku did as told. The gate opens and the people rush inside in the hopes of getting that research. After they pass through the gate, those people disappeared. Then, there is a sexy cowgirl who tells them how they could easily let people in and what are they going to do afterwards. Mei tells Miruku that it might be dangerous inside. Damien says that he will go for this is the only connection with Kurumi. Damien orders Michael to become a magical beast and drive away those people who are near the gate. Michael changes into an eagle and says that it will do as ordered. Miruku shouts at Damien as to who those other people were and what they plan with her mother’s research. Miruku is surprised when Damien tells her that those are people who wanted to use the research for their own aspirations whether for good advantage for themselves or killing others and that is why humans cannot be trusted. Damien warns Miruku to be extra careful especially with her butler, Daimon. Damien tells Miruku that it is good work and she can return back with her friend. Mei angrily asks if he only brought Miruku there to open the gate. Damien sadly says, “Before I..perhaps I was mistaken..even if your physical appearance is very similar, but you are not ‘Kurumi’..so, it is fine that it is up to here, goodbye.” Damien turns to leave and something inside Miruku seems to have snapped that she looks serious and determined. She grabs his scarf and tells Damien to quit joking around for that isn’t their agreement – for her to see her mother. Mei holds Miruku’s hand and says that if she’s going, she’ll go, too. Rihito holds Mei’s hand and says that if she’s going, he’ll go, too. Damien sweatdrops at the human chain that he formed. Miruku says that they might also disappear. Mei tells her that if they did, then they would just have to find another way of seeing her mother. And, they go in together. Mei is overjoyed that they didn’t disappear like the others. Mei turns around and notices that the cowgirl is gone. Rihito says that maybe that woman was the one who sent that message to them. In a roadway through a field of flowers, Miruku asks if her mother is really there. Damien says yes. They were surprised when they see a small black pirate rabbit says that isn’t really true. Damien quickly asks if it is Kurumi. The rabbit calls him stupid for how could it be. While Damien is infuriated over that, the black rabbit calls out to the others if they are going with it or not.
As they follow the black rabbit, Mei wonders if they should trust the rabbit. Sparkling Rihito tells him that since ancient time until the present, chasing rabbits has been humanity’s karma. Mei happily tells him that right now, she’ll believe whatever he says because she is really awed by his looks. Miruku asks Damien about what he said about being careful of Daimon. Mei is about to tell her that Daimon is a bit suspicious when Rihito covers her mouth to stop her. Instead, Rihito asks Damien as to what his relationship with Kurumi. Mei exclaims in shock and asks if Damien is Miruku’s father. Blushing really red, Damien nervously denies it because he hasn’t even met Kurumi in real life. Suddenly, there is a hole behind him and he fell down. Mei and others decides to follow and save him. The black rabbit became huge and welcomes them to its lair. It produces a huge octopus to attack them and the guys cannot interfere. Rihito and Damien notice that they cannot move. Miruku whisks out the gun that she made papa Damien buy for her and she promptly shrinks the octopus. Next is some ancient puzzle that is supposedly hard to crack but Miruku easily solves it. Everyone becomes tense because the next question is for Mei. The question is some math riddle question. After some encouragement from Rihito and Miruku, Mei calms down and manages to solve the riddle. Damien comments that it is such a childish question. Rihito asks if that question would be asked if it wasn’t Miruku or Mei. When Damien asks what he meant, Rihito just says that when he was young, he also received a similar type of training. Finally, there is one last question. Two kids are drowning. The girl has a brilliant mind yet sickly while the boy is healthy and strong but not that brilliant. Which one would they save? Miruku exclaims all life is equal. The rabbit asks if it is so for each person has a different advantage and contribution to society so how can she say that they are all equal. To everyone’s shock except for Rihito, Mei saves the two children. Miruku is horrified for they are supposed to save only one and they would be purged if they violate the condition in Hallelujah. Mei happily tells her that no matter what the condition is, when one sees two children drowning, they just have to help save them so this should be the correct answer to this.
The children become birds and someone says that it is great that Miruku got a really amazing friend. The birds flew to the hand of Kurumi who is standing under some sakura trees. Miruku is happily reunited with her mother. Miruku tells her how worried she is and she would have immediately gone to Hallelujah if she knew she is there. Miruku is puzzled when her mother won’t answer her as to why she is in seclusion. Damien tells Kurumi that as with their agreement, she is to give to him the ‘World’s Secret’ that she found. Miruku wonders if this is the research that her mother is doing. Kurumi produces a small box and asks Miruku to give it to Damien. Miruku holds the box and asks if she can look inside, too. Kurumi says she can. Miruku happily gives the box to Damien and they should look inside together. Damien snatches the box away so that he can monopolize it. After attempts to open it, Damien shouts at Kurumi that he couldn’t open it. Kurumi smiles and says that didn’t she told him that the small her is the key. Damien realizes that he is in a trouble for he made Miruku angry. Miruku shouts that she doesn’t care about it anymore and she’ll just look into it from her mother’s side. Mei agrees with her and angrily shouts at Damien that they cannot let it be seen by a guy like him. Kurumi smiles and tells Damien, “..you, haven’t changed a bit, you still do not understand..a woman’s heart [and thoughts]..” Damien looks sad about this that he calls out to her and asks what she meant by that. Kurumi is about to leave with Miruku when Damien holds out the box to them and apologizes that he was wrong so please help him open the box. Mei angrily shouts that it is useless to apologize now. Rihito tells Mei that Damien ought to have a reason for it. Mei can only protest. Miruku asks Damien what he plans to do with her mother’s research after he sees it, would he do some bad things with it. Damien shouts of course not. Miruku tells him what it is for he cannot lie now. Damien says that it depends on the situation and he might perhaps destroy it. Miruku shouts how she could give him her mother’s precious data. Damien looks serious and says, “Then, let me tell you of a ‘World’s Secret’ that I know. The one here isn’t ‘Kurumi’, for the real Kurumi has already passed away two months ago.” Miruku is shock to hear this.
Mei shouts what nonsense he is saying for Kurumi is there. Kurumi isn’t responding that Rihito says that she froze. They ask what they should do. Damien tells them to open the box. Mei angrily shouts that he is still thinking of his own selfish goals. Damien shouts back if she has any other ideas for if they didn’t open the box. If they didn’t open it, the game won’t progress. Miruku asks for the box. She opens the box and there is a huge button inside. Since there is nothing they can do, they let Miruku press it. Then, there is a wind and Miruku notices that her mother is glowing. Kurumi says that she is Mamahara Kurumi. Damien shouts that she is lying for she is just an AI [artificial intelligence] made from Kurumi’s feelings and memories. Kurumi finally admits that what Damien said is true and she died 72 days 14 hours 3 minutes ago. The girls are surprise about this. Kurumi tells them that she knew that she will die soon from the moment of her birth and compared to others, her time is progressing really fast. Rihito explains to Mei that it could be an illness that makes one’s body grow old in a rapid pace. Kurumi has been told that she will die at around the age of 20. Perhaps, it is because of this, her comprehension is better than anyone else that she is known as the history’s best prodigy. This made her research more about her illness and no matter how she resisted and battled it, there is no cure. She obviously still loves toys and everything but her body looks like that of an old woman’s. So, even if she has only a little time left, she wanted to do everything that she wanted to do so that she would have no regrets. She manages to get into St. Lucia Academy. And because she won’t be look at with prying eyes from the outside world, she can idly do whatever research she wants there but..in reality, she still wants to be just like everyone else. One day, she is chatting with that cowgirl named ‘Kin’ [Kin as in gold as in Kintaro, Mei’s grandfather. I think it is indeed Mei’s grandfather.] Kin tells her to make her own beautiful kind of new world and if money is the problem, she can lend her some. Kurumi eliminates the unwanted parts of her DNA and fused it with Damien’s healthy DNA and thus, Miruku is born. Mei asks if that means Miruku is Kurumi and Damien’s child. Rihito says that it is really hard to discuss in detail but generally, it is like that.
Kurumi apologizes to crying Miruku for not being with her. She tells Kurumi that she’ll leave Damien to her and even if he is really, really useless guy, he has his good points and if it’s Miruku, she definitely can understand. Kurumi tells Damien that she would have wanted to see him but she couldn’t drum up enough courage to do so because she heard a lot of things regarding his mother. Damien starts crying and asks why she is still concerned about that when that isn’t her style, since obviously, it doesn’t matter to him what she looks like. Kurumi happily tells Damien that she’ll leave Miruku to him. Damien says, okay. Kurumi starts to vanish that Miruku shouts for her not to go. Kurumi says that she is only an AI based from Kurumi’s memories and the program is over. Damien shouts that they haven’t finished talking for didn’t she promise to let him see her data on ‘World’s Secret’. Kurumi somewhat smiles at him and says that he is so slow-witted. She then tells him that this is the result of her 23 years of research. “One day when you have someone whom you treasure, the world in your eyes would become miraculous beautiful. It is so beautiful that no technology could rival against it. Thank you, because of the two of you, you made Kurumi’s everyday to be filled with love, goodbye..” At some fastfood restaurant, Miruku and Damien wipe their tears as they close their laptop computers. Damien asks what Miruku wants to do, will she go with him. She asks go where. Damien says go anywhere for they can live wherever place. “Anyway, I won’t leave you alone in Japan. I promised Kurumi, I will..protect you..!” He tells her that they cannot stay there and they cannot let others possess their brains. He says that if she is to stay beside that Daimon guy, she will be the country’s slave throughout her whole life. While Miruku is pondering on this, Daimon appears and tells her that he can let her go. Damien angrily shouts at Michael as to why he didn’t inform him about this. Michael just says that he was told to drive people away from the gate. Before Miruku can go to Daimon, Damien holds her back and exclaims that he won’t give Miruku to him. He calls Daimon as the government’s dog and told him not to get close. After looking surprised, Daimon agrees with him and happily tells Miruku that it’s great that she can finally see her father. Daimon says that now that she has her father’s company, then his duty is only up to now.. Mei tries to interrupt but Rihito stops her for it is rude to do so. Daimon tells them to leave things to him and he’ll help them safely out of the country. He bows to Miruku and wishes for her happiness.
They didn’t notice that a sniper is aiming at Miruku’s head. The soldiers say that it is expected, Daimon will help Miruku escape out of the country so they are to do what they are order to do. The shot hits the wall. It turns out that Daimon protects Miruku, Rihito protects Mei and Michael protects Damien. Miruku is shock to see that Daimon is bleeding. Rihito tells Mei to hide there as he goes out to look for the culprits. Rihito evades the bullets while Michael catches it with his bare hands. Mei wonders if the ones doing that are the government who are out to get Mei. A lot of uniformed men come in and exclaim if the sniper failed since the butlers are still alive. Rihito calls to Mei who angrily gives the order to get rid of those guys. Rihito, with the help of Michael, immediately beats up all those guys. Miruku calls to Daimon who tells her to quickly run away together to a far, far away place, with her father. Mei tells Daimon not to move for Rihito went to get the medicine kit. Daimon sadly laments over not being able to answer Mei’s question before. Mei tells him what he did already answer it since for her, he is still the last shield who’ll protect Miruku, no matter when, because he is one and only important butler. Daimon smiles over this, and then he says that he’ll leave things to Mei as to whatever Miruku decides to do. Then, they freak out since he faints. Soon, Daimon wakes up and wonders if he is in heaven. Rihito tells him that it was just an anesthesia gun. While Mei tries to stop him, Rihito starts to reprimand Daimon on how he could let himself be shot when he could have evaded it, if he died, who is going to take care of Miruku and he made Miruku cry which in turn started to make Mei act recklessly and they have to seal off the restaurant. [<- hehe, he became talkative. Mei’s influence?] Mei comments about Daimon’s actions being watched. Rihito says that Daimon’s bosses feared that Daimon’s private feelings would betray them especially since Daimon is Miruku’s most trusted person. Daimon says what of his feelings when he is just prioritizing Miruku’s healthy growth. Mei asks what will happen to Daimon and others later on.
Miruku comes in and tells them that she has already talked with those people. After being told that Miruku is their precious treasure, Miruku threatens them not to do anything again to Daimon and others else, she will definitely destroy the whole country. So, Daimon is fired and regretfully, he won’t be getting his retirement fees and benefits. But, Miruku herself will use him as her butler though his salary will be very low. Daimon is surprised then he happily smiles and says that it is honor to be so. Damien comes in and asks if that is her decision and if she stays in that country, she will be used. Miruku says that it has already been settled. Damien insists for her to come with him since it is easy to fall out with those guys. Miruku tells him not to talk about her for a while, what about him, does he plan on hiding throughout his life and who would have a fake existence towards himself and everyone around him. Then, Mei says how about Damien also stays there. Mei asks Rihito about this suggestion and Rihito says that the school is looking for a school doctor. Mei says that is great and he can stay with Miruku. Damien shouts as to how can they just decide on his life. It seems that even Michael approves of it that he contacted Sister Rose, who is in vacation, about it. Then, they learn that Hallelujah is going to disappear with a 110 second countdown. They were surprise by this since it was okay a moment ago. They wonder if it is set up by Kurumi but they have to quickly download the data first. Miruku exclaims for Damien and Michael to quickly help. Damien just looks surprise and remembers Kurumi saying goodbye. Damien holds Miruku’s shoulder and tells her to let it go. Miruku angrily shouts that it is her mother’s treasure and her precious world is going to disappear. Damien says but for them, it is no longer needed. “You, and also me, our important people..aren’t everything already here in reality?” He bends down and holds her face to tell her, “This is the place (Hallelujah) that what we dreamed of.” Miruku cries and exclaims, “Yes..Papa..” Mei is teary-eyed that Rihito offers his handkerchief to her. After the ten second countdown, they look at the laptop and there are the words ‘Thank You’ on the screen. Then, Mei and Miruku hear someone singing. Miruku says that it is her mother. Rihito and Damien didn’t hear it. Michael is just quiet then tells everyone that it is in a pitch wherein only those who are not above the 10+ years old can hear since their hearing haven’t deteriorated. Of course, Rihito and Damien have passed that age. The girls continue to listen to it. Mei says that it is such an amazing voice. Miruku is teary-eyed. In some open field with blue skies above, Kurumi is singing Hallelujah.
This arc is really good and I think it can be made into a short series. I actually wonder if this isn’t a father-daughter story and is a love story instead, would it be called incest even if only the DNA is used to create the child? I’m actually surprised that the author didn’t do another love story for Miruku but this is really nice. I’m fascinated with Damien and Kurumi’s love story. ^^ It is like how two lonely yet brilliant minds met together in a virtual world to fill each other’s lives. Anyway, the next arc will focus on the main love triangle again and I’m kind of surprised because I’m expecting the Chinese arc with Fujiko. ^^; Hm..maybe it will overlap or Fujiko will just end up with Nezu. Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu [Chapter 78] Teaser
Wednesday, January 5, 2011
I manage to find this teaser by YUKI that is based on some Japanese text. *v-sign* Though, I have not seen the raws. ^^; It is a lengthy one but basically because of the conversation which I’ll save for the summary. First of all, it isn’t as everyone feared. Kyouta has his memory intact. But, the plotline is still somewhat cliche. Kyouta might have no amnesia but he is severely injured like internal bleeding, broken bones, etc. It seems there is also a scar/bruise on his pretty face. Tsubaki returns home crying and starts to wonder why Kyouta didn’t call back like he used to whenever she runs off. Then, she learns of the news as to what happened to Kyouta so she rushed to the hospital. She then sees Kyouta’s bleeding face with an oxygen mask from the surgery room. After being told of the details over the accident, she goes into blaming herself for it. Kyouta calls out for her to come to him and not stand far away. She kept on apologizing to him. Kyouta tells her that it is his fault since he didn’t used the pedestrian bridge. Then, Tsubaki mentions about being a hindrance to him. Kyouta assures her that what’s important for him is that she is beside him. It seems that after that, Kyouta has fallen asleep. The nurse informed her that Kyouta had a surgery to stop the internal bleeding. She told Tsubaki to go home since it is late but she doesn’t want to. Kyouta’s father didn’t go see him because he is busy at work. Tsubaki didn’t inform her mother about her whereabouts either and she had closed her cellphone. And, Tsubaki decides to stay by Kyouta’s side.
Papillon -Hana to Chou- [Chapters 34-36]
Wednesday, January 5, 2011
At a park, Hana complains to Shinobu that she doesn’t want that grape juice, she wants soda. Shinobu angrily shouts that she just said that anything will do. Hana shouts back that he obviously knew that she likes soda. Shinobu retorts back that he doesn’t. Soon, Hana got her soda =P Shinobu laments that Hana is still quite headstrong. Hana happily tells him that he has become slick and sly, and his hairstyle is ‘fresh’ on him. Shinobu comments that she has a lot more thorns than before. Hana is shock by that comment. Shinobu says that it’s not bad since the thorns are also her charm. Hana looks surprised by this and admits to him that Ageha’s boyfriend also told her that. Hana then says that Shinobu doesn’t look surprised. Shinobu says of course because he always felt that Ageha had a boyfriend. Hana asks if he still has some extra feelings for Ageha. Shinobu admits that if he said no then he would be lying but he doesn’t want to ruin Ageha’s happiness. Hana asks why, for if he likes her then he should go get her. Shinobu tells her that before, he forced his feelings on Ageha that is why he failed. Hana cannot believe this for she has always been doing that because if she doesn’t do it, in accordance to what she thinks, she would feel uncomfortable about it. Shinobu says yes, that is why he broke up with her. Hana goes into shock over this. Shinobu smiles then breaks into laughter that Hana angrily exclaims that he was making fun of her. Meanwhile, Ageha is contemplating over using the tickets that Hayato gave her. She thought that if she used it before then things would be okay but then, it isn’t her goal to make love with him for she would just to feel that she is ‘special’. She laments as to why things ended up this way. She begins to regret rejecting Hayato’s invitation to talk. Remembering what Inoue told her, she decides to go out and talk with Hayato for this is the only resolution to this. On her way to his apartment, she sees Rena. Ageha confronts Rena if she is going to see Hayato. Rena hesitantly admits it. Ageha says that they did that before. She then begins to wonder if she is being sarcastic for saying that. Rena tells her that they aren’t doing anything that would make her worry and they are just talking about her sister. Flustered Ageha says that even if it is so, she shouldn’t be doing that in Hayato’s apartment. [Blurry again but I think Rena says something like what’s wrong with it.] Ageha says that some other girl shouldn’t go to one’s boyfriend’s place and of course, she would be unhappy about it. Rena says that even if Ageha is a high schooler, she is still a kid and can only look at things in front of her. She pities Hayato. That remark made Ageha red-faced. Rena tells Ageha that she won’t see Hayato today and just greet Hayato for her. Ageha is bothered by what Rena said especially since she used a tone of ‘she only knew’. At Hayato’s apartment, Hayato is surprised to see grumpy Ageha. Ageha enters inside and exclaims that Rena won’t be coming. Feeling very displeased, she grumpily sits down on the sofa with her arms crossed. Ageha exclaims if she didn’t come, he would Rena inside again. Hayato timidly says yes and he apologizes. Ageha even became more displeased upon learning that Hayato will keep on seeing Rena afterwards to talk with her. Flustered Ageha takes out her tickets. The ‘make love’ and ‘special’ are the ones showing. She tells him that is the exchange condition to let him keep on seeing Rena.
Chapter 35: Make Love Ticket Hayato is surprised by this. He looks at her then the tickets. He then asks her which ones of this she wants to use. Blushing Ageha exclaims that it is that ticket. Hayato holds out all of the tickets. To his shock, Ageha shouts that she wants to use all of the tickets. While Hayato is muttering about doing everything from kissing to sex, Ageha suddenly stands up and exclaims that she’s leaving. Hayato tries to stop her that he grabs her skirt. It made her fall flat on the floor ^^; Hayato sheepishly apologizes and says that it is just because he was shocked. Hayato says that it seems that she is really uneasy. He asks if he did all of that, would she be at ease. Ageha starts crying that Hayato hugs her and says, ‘so that’s how it is..’ At her house, Ageha’s mother is worried about Ageha since she isn’t home yet. While painting her nails, Hana asks her about calling Ageha. Her mother says that Ageha isn’t answering. Hana says that Ageha is probably with some guy. This made her father stand up and say that he’ll go out and buy something. Hana muses that he is going out to look for Ageha. Her mother laments that her husband didn’t even know where to look. Hana says that her father is still the same who’ll be very worried just because Ageha is mentioned. Her mother says that it is because they are his beloved daughters and hopefully that her husband won’t have bleeding blisters just like before. Hana asks what that is about. Her mother tells her that there was one time when Hana came home late at night, her husband would keep on running around and looking for her that when he came home, his feet is filled with bleeding blisters that it caused a ruckus then since he couldn’t even sleep at night in pain. Hana feels a bit guilty but she just says that it wasn’t necessary for him to look for her that he got himself hurt and she used to come home late before. Her mother tells her that even so, her husband would always worry about Hana if she was kidnapped or got into an accident that is why he was so worried that he would quarrel with her. She feels embarrassed as she remembers that her father asked her where she went when everyone is waiting for her and she would just say that she is at some guy’s place. Then, in the streets, Hana finds her father scratching his head and still looking around for Ageha. He turns around to see Hana. He is surprised that he runs to her asking where she is going late at night. Hana casually says that she’s looking for a guy. Her father looks aghast-shock that Hana cannot help but smile. She happily ribs him and tells him not to have that crying face. Her embarrassed father denies it.
Back at Hayato’s place, Hayato holds Ageha’s hand and kisses her. They hug then Hayato starts to undress her. As he kisses her, Ageha glances at the tickets on the table then she suddenly shouts for him to stop. She pushes him down and starts crying to apologize that this isn’t what she wanted. Later on, Hayato is sitting by balcony door while Ageha is still at the living room. [It is only now that I have a feeling that he doesn’t have a bedroom ^^;] Hayato asks her what she wanted him to do and how does she want him to treat her. She says that she cannot say it. He asks why. Ageha says that he will hate him if she says it. He asks why she would think so. Ageha says that because she also feels like she’s a kid and if she says it, he definitely can not stand it. Hayato is at a loss that he just says then, he won’t ask. Ageha is shock by that but Hayato continues to say that if he said that, she would feel very lonely again. He tells her to just say it and so what if it seems like she is a kid, if for her, it is something important. Ageha exclaims that whether she acts or not, she feels uneasy so she wants him to sincerely communicate with her. No matter when, he should call her, and she would want to be able to call/find him at all times. That way, she can be at ease and if he has something to do, it is to always prioritize her. Hayato looks surprised that after a moment, he says okay. It is now Ageha’s turn to be surprised. Hayato asks if that is what she wanted. Ageha says yes. Hayato says okay, he’ll do just that. Ageha starts to ask if that is okay. He says it is. She asks won’t it be a burden to him. Hayato asks if it will be a burden. Ageha says that it is for like that, he would have to always think of her the whole day. Hayato laughs and asks if she is that worried about him. Ageha says that is because it is really strange because her request is quite selfish/uninhibited yet he still just accepts it. Hayato then tells her that he is into some reflection after receiving her letter about whether he thought of her when he let Rena in. He confesses that he did not. When she called, it startled him but because he thought she would forgive him that is why he just let it be. He could be neglecting her feelings and it is probably true since he made her uneasy. He apologizes for hurting her a lot. Ageha feels sad about this. They were interrupted when Hayato’s phone starts ringing. Ageha asks if he isn’t going to answer it. Hayato says that he will later on. They realize that it is already 10pm. Hayato tells her that she should go home else her family will be worried again and he’ll walk her home. He asks her to wait since he’ll be going to the toilet.
Hayato’s cellphone stops ringing that Ageha looks at it and thinks that it was okay for him to answer it. She wonders if it is because she said that she wants him to prioritize her first. The phone starts ringing again that Ageha asks Hayato about it but Hayato tells her not to mind it. Soon, the cellphone is ringing for the third time. Ageha says that it could be important so Hayato tells her to answer it. She answers it and it is Rena. Rena asks if she is still there and where is Hayato. Ageha says that he is in the toilet and he asked him to answer the phone. Rena tells Ageha not to make things difficult for Hayato since he is suffering enough because of her sister. Ageha asks what she is talking about. Rena realizes that Hayato didn’t tell Ageha about it. This made Ageha asks her what about Arisa that Hayato is having trouble with and if that is the reason why he is acting strange. Rena tells her that Hayato has started to blame himself for not being able to rescue her sister and no matter how he thought of it, he felt really regretful over it. It is the first time Rena realized how fragile Hayato was. Ageha asks why it is happening now. Rena says that it is because it is now, and she thinks that because he no longer needs to be concerned about her, Hayato’s own problem re-surfaced. It is only after four long years when Hayato is finally dealing with his own grief. Rena thinks that it is starting to affect Hayato’s physical health. Ageha realizes that Hayato has been complaining about feeling tired and unwell lately. Rena tells Ageha that because she was blaming Hayato for it, that he already started to blame himself for it. Ageha then hears a loud thud from the toilet. Ageha looks at the direction and sees that Hayato has fallen on the floor. She quickly goes to him and asks if he is alright. Hayato seems to be wincing in pain. Ageha keeps on asking for him to answer her but Hayato seems to have fallen unconscious. While Rena is asking on the phone, which was on the floor, as to what happened, Ageha becomes frantic since Hayato’s hands are cold. Ageha starts to cry as she apologizes to Hayato since he is suffering and yet she is focusing on his shortcomings.
Chapter 36: Special Ticket After Hayato was brought to the hospital, he ended up being hospitalized. On the second day, the results are out and it is what Rena thought it was. Ageha returns home and tells Hana that Hayato has stomach ulcer. While eating an ice cream popsicle, Hana asks if Hayato will have surgery. Ageha says that it isn’t necessary and he’ll just have to eat some medicine. Hana is relieved that it is not a big deal. Ageha tells her that it will take three months to treat it and even if recovered from it, he would become susceptible if it occurs again. Hana asks how she knew about it so much. Ageha tells her that it was Rena who told her. She also says that ulcer is brought about by one’s own gastric acid dissolving the stomach wall. Hana freaks out over this and exclaims if it was such a great pressure for Hayato regarding that thing with Rena. Ageha sadly says that isn’t true for it was Rena who noticed early of Hayato’s pain and it was Rena who called for the ambulance when Hayato fell unconscious. Ageha adds that it was Rena who guided her regarding the things she should do in the hospital and Rena is actually quite amazing whereas she is just too shock over what happened that she couldn’t do anything. Ageha thinks that Hayato is already showing a lot of SOS [/danger] signs yet she didn’t notice it for in her heart, she is only concerned about herself. She blames herself as the one who had pressured Hayato. At the hospital, Ageha comes in with some flowers and thinks that Hayato is sleeping. She notices that Hayato is wincing in pain in his sleep and is calling for Arisa. It seems that Hayato is having a nightmare that Ageha shouts for him not to be like that, he didn’t do anything wrong and not to blame himself anymore. Hayato suddenly wakes up when she calls him ‘sensei’. Hayato sees her teary-eyed that he quickly backs away from her in shock and shouts, sorry. The two then looks surprised at each other. Hayato wonders why he is apologizing. Rena comes in to check on Hayato’s condition. She notes that Ageha is also there. Rena asks if he has a fever, if he already drinks his medicine, etc. Hayato tells her that his stomach doesn’t feel good and why she is asking all this when she isn’t the doctor. Rena tells him that it is because she is concerned about him. Rena asks when it starts to hurt. Hayato says that it is around the time of the Obon festival. Hayato then notices that Ageha looks downcast. Hayato apologizes to Rena and tells her that they’ll talk again later. When Rena asked why, Hayato gestures to Ageha and says that he is currently talking with her. Ageha realizes that it is because she told him to prioritize her. Rena apologizes for being rude and leaves.
Flustered, Ageha tells Hayato to forget about what happened before. Hayato is puzzled that he asks why. She tells him that she has already told him of his complaint and she feels better so she doesn’t mind it anymore. Hayato smiles and says that it cannot be and after everything, there is no need for her to resist it. Ageha denies she is resisting it. She shouts at him that she doesn’t feel about him who is sick to worry about her. She tells him not to talk about that anymore and just concentrate on getting well. After that outburst, Ageha runs off hoping that he won’t be troubled about her anymore. Hayato grabs his IV to run after her but his ulcer starts to act up again. Ageha’s phone starts ringing but she didn’t answer it because she doesn’t want to be a burden to him. Hana arrives at the hospital and notices Ageha sitting outside. She wonders what Ageha is doing there. Hana is shock to see that Hayato is walking around with his IV while trying to look for Ageha. Hayato is really worried about Ageha that he cannot leave her alone like that. Hana guides Hayato to where she has seen Ageha but Ageha is no longer there. Hana tries to call Ageha but just like Hayato, she couldn’t contact her. Noticing that Hayato is in pain, Hana urges him to go back to his room but Hayato stubbornly wants to look for Ageha. Worried about him, Hana decides that she’ll also look for her twin. At some park, Ageha watches a caterpillar and remembers Hayato telling her about ‘butterflies in the stomach’. She starts to lament about not changing and wonders what she ought to do. Hana finds her and shouts what she is doing when Hayato is looking for her. Soon, the two are running to where Hayato is. Ageha asks if Hayato is okay. Hana shouts at her twin as to how Hayato can be okay when he looked really awful. Hana tells her that Hayato doesn’t want to go to his room because he cannot leave Ageha pondering on things by herself. Soon, they find Hayato who smiled at them. Suddenly, he puked blood. The twins and Hayato looks shocked. Hayato pukes again before collapsing. [<- I think this is over the top ^^;] Hana screams out in fright. Soon, Rena tells the worried sick twins that Hayato is alright and he vomited blood because his stomach ruptured. Hana exclaims that there is a lot of blood. Rena says that it is because of the acid that it seemed that there is a lot of blood. Ageha worried asks if Hayato is going to die. Rena smiles at Ageha and tells her that he won’t. She asks if she can see him. Rena says that right now he needs to rest after the surgery but she can see him tomorrow.
At home, Ageha is still in shock over that horrifying scene that she really thought that Hayato is going to die. She begins to think that if he died, she would probably feel the regret that Hayato is currently experiencing regarding Arisa. At the hospital, Ageha meets with Marui at the elevator. Marui says that he came to check up on Hayato after he heard that he vomited blood but it seems that he is quite energetic like before. Ageha is somewhat relieved over that. Marui is going to leave when he notices as if Ageha wants to tell him something. Ageha asks him about that poem he mentioned before when she first consult him. Marui remembers it and says that it is ‘Gestalt Prayer’. [<- by Friedrich Perls. ‘I do my thing and you do your thing. I am not in this world to live up to your expectations, And you are not in this world to live up to mine. You are you, and I am I, and if by chance we find each other, it's beautiful. If not, it can't be helped. Source: wiki] Ageha asks him to recite it again for her. She then goes to check on Hayato. Hayato is in high spirits as he welcomes her in. Hayato starts telling her about how shock he was when he puked blood that he thought he is going to die. He then happily tells her about his experience in the operating room. Ageha sadly looks at him and thinks that if she stays by his side, she will make things difficult for him. She holds a piece of paper tight in her hand. She remembers the poem that Marui recited then she holds out a special ticket to Hayato. Puzzled, Hayato asks what about it. He is surprised when she tells him, “Let’s break up.” And I begin to wonder if Rena is right that Ageha is still a kid that she isn’t ready for a relationship. She has been jumping into conclusions and doing everything what she thinks is right and when they talk, it seems that she is dictating her terms. Unfortunately, she is somehow making it worse. It doesn’t help either that Hayato breaks his promise, still meets with his ex-crush and isn’t telling Ageha about his problem. Well, it does seem to be the right thing to break up or at least, a cool off for them to sort their own problems and know what they really want..okay, it is more on Hayato sorting out his problem especially since Ageha cannot rely on him right now or be lovey-dovey just like before because of his current issue. Anyway, at least Hana has realized how loved she was by her father and it seems that she and Shinobu are now in good terms.
There is a short story of the author regarding her assistant A at the end of volume 7. I think it is amusing so I’ll mention it. It was only when her assistant is eight months pregnant when she realizes that she is pregnant. When the author thinks about it in detail, assistant A would refuse certain types of food but it never occurred to the assistant, that she was pregnant. It is only when her abdomen is protruding when she realized it. Afterwards, she keeps on working even if she is pregnant. The author doesn’t find it odd because she also worked until she is about to give birth. One day, assistant A asks what kind of pain is it if one is about to give birth. The author cannot quite explain it since it has been a long time. The author starts to panic and asks if it is hurting now. Assistant A says yes. The author asks when it started. She says that around 3 in the morning. It is already 5 minutes before noon time. The author starts telling her that normally, one doesn’t go to work like that. She asks about the contractions. Assistant A says that it happens every 10 minutes. The author goes into panic mode since she might give birth soon. She orders her assistant to get ready to go to the hospital and she’ll drive her to the train station. Since she is oblivious over situation, assistant A just says that she’ll go home first and make a night appointment before going to the hospital. The author exclaims that even if there is no appointment, she can go see the doctor. She goes into shock when assistant A says okay but she is going to take a bath first. While she is taking a bath, the author ponders why she isn’t in a hurry, is it because it is her first time and it doesn’t hurt so much but then, she [author] did waste two days before the actual birth. She starts to compare her own experience with the assistant’s and wonder if she should be nervous or not. Then, the author’s husband came home and she informs him about the situation. On the way to the train station, the assistant would even happily mention what if the train stops and what if she gives birth on the train. Soon, at the train, assistant A is in great pain. She starts asking for help from the other passengers. They help call the conductor and ask for a doctor. Later on, assistant A is in the ambulance. The medical guys say that she is going to give birth really soon. They were surprised when assistant A is pushing hard in pain. They tell her not to but she tells them that it is coming out. So, they use some scissors to cut through the pants and the baby was born in the ambulance. That day was January 19. So, in the end, assistant A only had like a half month pregnancy which others cannot believe if the author tells them about it. The author and assistant A thanks everyone who had helped especially those passengers in the train and sorry for the trouble. Thanks to everyone, the baby was safely delivered and the miracle baby is healthy even if the child came out earlier than expected. So, the lesson here according to the author is everyone isn’t the same [body/experiences] so don’t compare oneself with someone else. Scans from veryim.com

Ojousama wa Oyomesama [Chapters 41-43]
Monday, January 3, 2011
By the lake in the garden, Setsuna and Mioko stand apart from each other in awkward silence. The two’s parents along with Utsugi are spying on them behind some bushes. Tokiko is infuriated that Setsuna is not saying a word since from the start. Mioko’s grandfather is also angry at Mioko for being rude since she is always bowing her head. Setsuna thinks that he didn’t expect that Mioko would be such a meek girl. Then, he hears some rustling of the leaves behind. Setsuna calls out as to who is there. Kyousuke comes out and apologizes that he doesn’t mean to intrude. While Setsuna is wondering who the guy is, Mioko introduces Kyousuke to Setsuna as Katagiri Kyousuke, a Tokyo college student who is currently on a break and studying about kimono so he is staying at her house. Setsuna says is that so. He then introduces himself to Kyousuke. After a pause, Kyousuke smiles and says that it’s good that it is a good guy. Mioko looks sad-surprise over this and says, yes. Setsuna looks surprise over that reaction. Kyousuke takes his leave. Setsuna looks at Mioko who is somewhat blushing as she watches Kyousuke walk away. Mioko blushes really red when Setsuna asks her if she likes that man. Mioko is tense and at a loss as to what to say. Setsuna says that it is alright, because it is the same with him. He admits to her that for a long time, he always really loved someone even if he obviously knew that love won’t be returned. He tells her that she could probably achieve hers. Mioko sadly says no, it cannot be actualized. Kyousuke had repeatedly requested before her grandfather agreed for him to stay at the house and if her grandfather is to know about this, he would definitely be unhappy. The most important thing is she knows that Kyousuke doesn’t have that kind of feelings for her but it doesn’t mean that she has abandoned herself to despair that she would do this miai [arranged marriage]. Setsuna tells her that he didn’t thought of it. Mioko explains that her parents passed away early and her grandparents love her dearly so she wanted them to be at ease [regarding her] soon. Setsuna smiles and tells her that it is the same with him. He tells her that she should know that the Gokurakuin parents aren’t his real parents and yet, they had treated him really well. While the two talk, Tokiko is glad that those two are getting along even if she doesn’t know what they are talking about. Mioko’s grandparents agree and say that it is thanks to Kyousuke’s interruption that they lost their nervousness. They hoped that everything would go smoothly from then on. Utsugi just looks on quietly.
Soon, Tokiko says that they will be staying there for the night. While Setsuna is walking at the hallway, Utsugi who is following him asks what he thinks of the miai. Setsuna says yes and compared to what he thought, she is quite an elegant girl. Utsugi asks if he is going to continue with the miai. After a pause, Setsuna says in terms of financial resources, the Yachiougi family is either first or second among the five main families though lately due to being not an expert in engaging in business, they have already lost their past glory/power. Utsugi agrees with this and that is why they want to be related with Gokurakuin through marriage. Setsuna says since the first wife’s son of the five main families, this has never done before wherein two families will be closely interrelated to each other through marriage and it is also for Gokurakuin’s benefit that the Yachiougi has contacts in the Kansai region. Flustered, Utsugi asks if what he is saying is.. Setsuna tells him not to have that kind of expression. “For me, all girls are the same except for sister..This miai, if it is for the Gokurakuin family..or taking it a step further, if it is for sister..[<- since Towako will be the head of the family]..” They were interrupted when someone says that’s quite disappointing. Kyousuke asks if that is the kind of attitude he had in marrying. Setsuna tells him that it has nothing to do with him. Kyousuke says that it is true he has nothing to do with it but a political marriage is idiotic and Mioko is going to marry someone who loves another woman. Setsuna is surprised by his comment and asks if he.. Kyousuke didn’t reply. Setsuna says that it is the same with Mioko for her family, even if she likes someone else, she chose marriage and Kyousuke ought to know that. Kyousuke looks flustered. Setsuna asks, “If you think that a political marriage is idiotic then why didn’t you stop it?” Kyousuke and Utsugi were shock by what he said. Looking really serious, Setsuna says, “If you are really serious with that then, you shouldn’t hesitate and just quickly take her away. (I have only one wish.) If you really like someone, you should do, no matter what it takes, to take her hand. You would want to use both your hands in attaining happiness. But, before that.. (I would want my treasured person to attain happiness. Even if the one beside her, isn’t me..) ..the other person should also like you. You, ought to be able to do that, right? (..[she] will still definitely be happy.)”
At night, Towako looks out the starry night sky then asks Yuuga if she can go to his side. They are sleeping in separate futon. Yuuga is surprised then he looks at his cellphone to look at the time. He becomes gloomy since it is already 20:53. Yuuga turns away and says no, she can’t. Towako whines why when he said that he is going to pamper her. Yuuga exclaims she’s too noisy and doesn’t she go to sleep exactly at 21 o’ clock and he doesn’t want it to progress in half then he’ll be left hanging to dry. Towako is puzzled by what he meant but she just shouts for him to forget it and it is more comfortable to sleep alone by herself. Yuuga gets angry. Towako goes to bed and pouts that Yuuga is an idiot because she thinks that he’s very important that she would want him to touch her.. She is surprised when Yuuga is already beside her and says that she really doesn’t guard herself. While she is exclaiming that he’s too near, Yuuga kisses her quite deeply and for a bit of time. Towako is flustered and tense. Yuuga tells her, “Let me tell you, I’m a guy, do you really understand that? Until now, there are all sorts of this and that things that were happening so I’ve always didn’t do anything to you. But this time, in order to show my love for you..I will attack you.” Towako is really flustered as she tries to understand the things that Yuuga is telling her. She then wonders if he meant.. She sits up and says, “Yuuga, I’m very sorry for I’ve, always until now, didn’t realize it.. Yuuga, do you want to make a baby?” Lol, Yuuga has a stupefied reaction then he says, “Ha?” Towako excitedly rants on that so-called ‘attack’ is about doing that thing in order to have a child and she read in a book that it is a guy’s instinct to want to continue his clan/line. She apologizes for always been prioritizing the two of them and it is more or less time [to do it]. With sparkles in her eyes, Towako holds his hands and says, “Then, let’s do it, let’s give birth to a child!” Yuuga looks aghast and wonders if a female lead ought to be saying those kind of words. Then, Towako immediately falls over and sleeps because it is already 9pm. Yuuga pulls the blanket on her. Somewhat flustered, he looks at Towako who is sleeping with a happy face. Yuuga mutters that of course, it isn’t like that. And so, Towako starts daydreaming about having a baby – the outcome of their love; a miracle. The next morning, Towako happily looks at sleeping Yuuga and thinks that they have already been married for a month. Even if a lot of things had happened that are truly unbearable and right now, she still becomes distress because of [things concerning] Yuuga but if she really thinks about it, what is the most important between her and her husband is that future family that they will make. Towako giggles over how cute Yuuga is. She thinks that she must prepared the making love ceremony as soon as possible. She happily tells Tsubaki to schedule her bath earlier and to choose that rich collagen and fragrant bath liquid. Tsubaki says okay. Towako is already thinking of buying some child care books when her cellphone starts ringing. She notices that it is her mother that she wonders what happened. Yuuga wakes up when Towako shouts, “Eloped?!”
Towako asks her mother what happened. Tokiko tells her daughter that Setsuna’s miai partner, Mioko and the one residing in their place, Kyousuke had eloped together. Mioko left a note about their wish of wanting to live together and sorry, and they disappeared. Even Utsugi’s extensive networking cannot find them hence, everything is thrown into confusion. She tells Towako that she’ll tell her more about it when she returns home. Towako is teary-eyed and sad because she really thought that Setsuna would also find his own happiness. Yuuga looks concerned for her when his cellphone starts ringing. It is an unknown caller. Yuuga answers it and it is Utsugi. Yuuga then says, “What?” Soon, at Yuuga’s house, Yuuga, together with Towako and Tsubaki, looks at the two runaways who are in his house. Yuuga angrily asks why they are in his house. Miju, together with Himeno, angrily shouts that is suppose to be her line and who the heck are they. Yuuga asks Miju where she was. Miju says that their mother is on a night shift so she stayed at Himeno’s place and when she returned, it is already like this. She shouts at her brother to explain things to her. Mioko is blushing as she asks Kyousuke if that girl [Miju] is the model from the television. Kyousuke says yes. Yuuga tells Mioko how he can explain when Utsugi only told him to let those two stay at his place temporarily. Towako asks Mioko as to what’s going on. Mioko bows to them and apologizes to everyone. She asks if she is Towako and says that she caused humiliation to Setsuna. Miju is surprised when Setsuna’s name is mentioned. Everyone is surprised when Mioko confessed that Setsuna is her miai partner and yet he helped them. Himeno exclaims in shock over the miai that Yuuga reprimands him not to add to the confusion. Himeno tries to explain but can only look at Miju’s flustered expression. Towako asks about Setsuna helping them. Kyousuke tells her that Setsuna knew that they like each other mutually that Setsuna told him that if he is prepared, then Setsuna is willing to assist them in order for them to be together. The plan is to hide their whereabouts until the miai is cancelled though if this kind of situation continues, it would definitely strain the relationship of the two families but Setsuna has already forgiven this incident. Back at the Yachiougi residence, Mioko’s grandparents are apologizing to Setsuna. Sparkling, Setsuna smiles and says that this is inevitable and he ought to simply back off from the miai. The grandparents keep on apologizing and ask how they can compensate him. Setsuna says that there is no need because after all, their relationship isn’t too deep yet. Setsuna thinks that this way, even if there is no marriage, the Gokurakuin has an advantage with the Yachiougi family. Kyousuke says that about the elopement.. Sparkling Tokiko tells the grandparents that it is first love and their love must be quite deep that they eloped so she asks the grandparents to just forgive them since Setsuna also did, and let the two get married.
Kyousuke says that the only problem would be the head of Yachiougi. Mioko’s grandfather doesn’t want to acknowledge that kind of man who ‘bites the hand that feeds him’. So, as they wait for the grandfather to forgive them, Kyousuke bows and asks if they would let them stay at Yuuga’s place. Yuuga and Miju angrily exclaim, “What?!” Flustered Mioko says that it is because Setsuna said that it is better for them to stay in a place with whom they have no relation with. Kyousuke says that if they stayed at his family or at some friends’ place, they would immediately be found and they also did some counter-tracking measures in order not to be followed courtesy of Utsugi. Yuuga is totally furious at Setsuna. Towako looks flustered when she hears Kyousuke says that everything has been planned out by Setsuna for them. Kyousuke apologizes for the trouble. Yuuga angrily shouts that it is all Setsuna’s fault for deciding on things on his own. Towako decides to call Setsuna. Yuuga looks at her as Towako wonders what Setsuna is thinking. Setsuna answer the phone but before Towako can call his name, he hangs up on her. Yuuga becomes angry when Towako starts to look depressed. Setsuna has closed his cellphone then tosses it for Utsugi to catch. Towako gloomily mutters why Setsuna didn’t answer her phone call when he wasn’t like this before. Himeno asks if she had a falling out with Setsuna. Towako says that she doesn’t know. Himeno tells her that maybe the signal is bad. Mioko apologizes and says that even if she doesn’t understand what’s going on but it seems that they have given them a lot of trouble. To Yuuga’s anger, Towako starts crying that Setsuna really hates her. Yuuga snaps and shouts at her to stop crying. He shouts that it is really infuriating how everyone is dillydallying and being indecisive. Pulling Towako to him, Yuuga calls out to Tsubaki and tells her to prepare for him and Towako to go where Setsuna is, and use the best way to get there. After Tsubaki says yes, Towako tries to protest but Yuuga tells her that if there is something unhappy she wants to say then say it to Setsuna for there is no conclusion if she just deal with it on her own and doesn’t she have something she wants to tell him. Yuuga reminds her that normally, this is what she does and if there is something she wants to clear things out, she would face it head on and if they cannot mutually understand each other, will she always be gloomy like that. Kyousuke is intently watching this and tells Mioko that they should go back, too for if they are just to wait there, they might have to wait for years. Mioko is shock that it would be years and that won’t be okay. Kyousuke tells Mioko that in order to get the head/grandfather’s approval, they should properly talk to each other. Then, to Miju’s surprise, Himeno suggests that they go with the others. Miju asks why. Himeno asks if she isn’t concerned at all. Miju continues to deny that she is concerned and just says that if Himeno is concerned about it then, she’ll go with him. Himeno laments that she is still talking that way. Yuuga sweatdrops and says that it doesn’t matter how many people would want to go along.
Soon, they are going to ride a train. Yuuga and others cannot believe that they are going to ride on a steam train. Towako tells him that this is a railroad used by the five main families and it goes around the country. Yuuga head in and is just glad that it isn’t something that flies. Towako timidly calls out to him and asks if he is still angry. She freaks out when Yuuga says that he is. A bit flustered, he explains that it is because he doesn’t want her to be troubled about some other guy. Towako smiles over this. Behind them, Mioko timidly says that since last night yesterday, from the time he took her with him, it is like a dream but right now, it is reality so it is necessary to do their best. Kyousuke looks at her and says that he also cannot dare believe it. With a sinister look on his face, he looks at Towako and Yuuga and says, “It’s really like a dream, [everything] unexpectedly is progressing really smoothly.” At Yachiougi’s residence, Utsugi informs Setsuna that his sister and everyone else are heading there so should he hinder them. Setsuna says that it is alright [leave them be]. Suddenly, Mioko’s grandfather clutches his chest and kneels on the floor. Tokiko asks if he is alright. He says that he is and he has just become a bit dizzy. Surrounded by everyone who is concerned about him, Mioko’s grandfather tells them that he has a chronic ailment and he doesn’t know how many more years before the candle of his light is blown out. He cannot feel unease until he sees Mioko be given away to someone, who can be entrusted with her. He starts saying Kyousuke’s good characteristics like being confident/self-possessed, can bear hardship, and passionate about his studies. It became obvious to him as to what made Mioko attracted to him but because he thinks their family status is quite far off[, he doesn’t think they are compatible]. He sadly laments that if he knew that things will turn out like this then he would have let them be together. They were surprised when someone exclaims that’s great. They turn around to see that Towako and others who have overheard everything. Towako happily tells Mioko that her grandparents had acknowledged their relationship. The grandfather is surprised to see Mioko there. Tokiko exclaims why Towako and Yuuga are there. Towako apologizes and says that because of this and that reason, everyone tagged along. Mioko bows and apologizes to everyone. Kyousuke also apologizes to them. The grandfather exclaims if they apologize, everything will be resolved and do they know what they just did. While grandmother tries to calm him down, grandfather starts crying ala waterfalls and call out to Mioko. The two tearfully call out to each other. Towako and Yuuga are glad that is resolved.
Towako then notices that Setsuna is quickly slipping out of the place. Towako tries to call him in order for them to talk. To her surprise, Yuuga also goes after Setsuna. Yuuga calls out to Setsuna and tells him not to snub him. Yuuga grabs Setuna’s shoulder to stop him. Setsuna looks irritated and tells him to let go. Yuuga angrily tells him what’s with that attitude when he was the one who got him/them involved. Around this time, Himeno and Miju have also gone after them. While grabbing Setsuna’s collar, Yuuga starts to angrily shout at how Setsuna is an eyesore since the first time they met. Setsuna would always have that glittering smile whenever he’s with Towako but towards him, Setsuna is quite rude and looks down on him even if he is older than him. He would always say mean things and would droop his eye and act quite fragile as if he is some lounge lizard [<- kind of gigolo/host]. Setsuna sweatdrops and says that those have nothing to do with this incident and what does he want to say. Setsuna is surprised when Yuuga angrily tells him that he won’t let Setsuna run away from this. “I told you that I would want to fight fair and square! If you have thoroughly put aside the fight, then don’t let the people around [you] be worried because of you!” Yuuga steps aside and Towako approaches Setsuna to apologize about what happened before. Setsuna is flustered over this. Towako says that she won’t say things like stay by her side and she won’t bind him to her anymore. “I would want you return your freedom, but let me continue to care for you, because you are my.. beloved ‘younger brother’.” Setsuna looks dark and serious when he heard that. Hoping that this treasured feelings can be conveyed to Setsuna even if they can no longer return to how it was before anymore, Towako happily smiles and says that even if he hates her, she will still continue to pray for his happiness because she is [his] ‘older sister’. Setsuna asks that as siblings, and he is her younger brother, no matter what happens, this won’t change at all. Towako says of course, they are siblings forever and it is so, no matter what happens. The other three just look on. Setsuna mutters, really, that is so. Mustering all his acting skills, Setsuna smiles at Towako and says, “We are siblings [elder sister-younger brother].” Towako is happy that Setsuna looked at her and smiled. Miju looks flustered-sad while Yuuga just look away. They were interrupted by Kyousuke and Mioko who came out of the house and tell them to come inside. Towako asks if everything went smoothly. Blushing Mioko says that it did and her grandfather wanted to thank them. Setsuna is still clenching his fist and looked downcast as Miju looks at his direction. Miju looked flustered and sad for Setsuna. Himeno happily looks at Miju then suddenly pushes Miju towards Setsuna. Miju bumps into Setsuna’s back.
Turning to her, Setsuna looks irritated and asks her what her problem is. Blushing Miju says that it isn’t so and she’s furious at Himeno who pushed her. Himeno is cheering for her to do her best. Miju then tells Setsuna that it is quite regretful about his miai for it isn’t easy to have a chance to shift one’s eyes towards someone else. “It seems that you are quite suitable to have an unrequited love throughout your life!” Setsuna didn’t answer. Miju tearfully cries that what she said is too much and she did it out of habit. Setsuna then says that it is so. Miju tells him to be at least angry for does he really plan on having an unrequited love throughout his life and pretend to be siblings. Setsuna looks at her in surprise. Flustered Miju angrily says, “Are you stupid?! You obviously won’t get an answer! You obviously will only hurt yourself more!” Setsuna asks her why she is angry. Miju starts to cry and says that unrequited love, she absolutely doesn’t do not want [it]. Setsuna looks at her and is moved by her tearful expression. Miju suddenly becomes confused and blushing when Setsuna suddenly hugs her. He then says, “But, I have no other way. By myself..is also very good.” [<- Ah, it either means that it will be okay if he is alone or he can deal with this alone.] Later on, at the library, sinister-looking Kyousuke is talking with someone on the telephone. He tells someone that after hearing that Mioko is going to have a miai, he is also very worried but because her grandfather is a good man, it will be as what he first planned of - having a forced engagement in order to stop the course of events. Things did go smoothly and soon, they will be formally married and this way, they prevented the Gokurakuin and the Yachiougi family from having a relation. Kyousuke says that he already controls the Yachiougi finances and the cash flow so he only needs to get married in order to inherit it all, then he can use the wealth in anyway he pleases. “I also eagerly want to hear the result of your report. Yes, yes, of course, I trust you. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have also done this. Next is..” In the train, Towako happily tells Yuuga how happy she is that things turned out well for Mioko and Kyousuke though the grandfather is quite apologetic to them. She is in a good mood when two people who mutually like each other ended up with each other. Yuuga just looks at her then kisses her. Towako is surprised by this. He looks at her eyes and says, “...You..” Blushing Towako asks, “ah..ye..yes..” Towako goes “!!?” when Yuuga asks, “Want to have my baby?”
It is quite touching that Setsuna is going to sacrifice his own personal happiness for his family especially Towako. I’m not sure if it is okay that the miai got deterred because it turns out that Kyousuke is only after Mioko’s inheritance. I wonder how everyone will feel if they learned that they just helped that kind of guy to be with Mioko. Well, Setsuna has to face the bitter reality that Towako will only see him as a younger brother. Well, at least Miju is there to comfort him in some way. Because of his long attachment with Towako, it won’t be easy for him to just let go. Well, time probably will help him to realize that there are other girls like Miju out there. Towako and Yuuga scenes are truly funny especially since for Towako, sex = making baby. Hehe, a very traditional way of thinking. Yuuga is pretty much at the end of his patience since they are always interrupted by all sorts of problems. I’m quite surprised that it has only been a month in their world. It really seemed like a long time ^^; Scans by xiuxiu for BW

Skip Beat! [Chapter 169] Teaser
Friday, December 31, 2010
Thanks to Zed, I learned that the teaser is already out in baidu. This time, there is a proper summary by 一の透 so here goes: Ren recalls when Rick forced him to eat that unpalatable omrice. It seems that 8 that Ren made Kyouko write is some sort of ‘love magic’ that Rick taught him. When he is remembering that, he hears Kyouko saying that they should eat some stomach medicine later on after all, they just ate a monster. Ren says that he doesn’t want to eat for if he eats the medicine, he would feel as if he had lost. He wants to depend on his own strength to overcome it. Kyouko starts to clear the table. Ren wants to help her in doing that but Kyouko feels that if she didn’t do anything, she wasn’t of any help. She tells him not to help and she’ll wash the dishes in the kitchen alone. She is still thinking that Ren ate that unpalatable omrice as if he is in some sort of test/trial. On the other hand, Ren is lost in thought again. (It seems that his reflecting on things never ends.) Aside from that, Ren felt that if Kyouko is by his side, it seems he would forget about Rick. If he doesn’t want to be engulfed into darkness, then Kyouko’s existence is a necessity for him. As a result, Ren feels that this is a problem he cannot evade. Since he wants to perform BJ well, he has no option but to prevail over himself (Kuon) because the possibilities [of something bad happening?] are endless. (Kyouko, you finally interrupt Ren’s reflection to discuss, and it goes without saying that you should not let Ren think of his old lover but rather fill Ren’s mind with yourself!) [<-Ah, I think that is the translator’s comment]. Kyouko: Tsuruga-san, I think you shouldn’t think/decide within your own boundary. [<- it is like, ‘don’t box yourself?’] What Kyouko said brought Ren back to reality. Kyouko start to say some sort of magical words to Ren as she takes out her Princess Rosa necklace. She tells Ren, “If only Princess Rosa is here, I feel that I won’t lose. No matter what kind of trouble is ahead of us, this time, we will definitely surpass it. Do you want to live together?” Ren looks at Kyouko’s eyes that are filled with sincerity and remembers Lory telling him that Kyouko is his greatest protective charm. Hence, Ren thinks of Kyouko as someone exceptional who ‘gives him strength’. Then, he takes Kyouko’s hand and the other on the necklace. [<- I’m not sure on this last part..if it is going to be some lovey-dovey or he is just putting the necklace on her]
Some parts aren’t clear so take things with a grain of salt. I’ve been making a lot of mistakes on SB teasers lately ^^;; The ‘live together’ could be about ‘living in’ or Kyouko just doing his household chores but still..hehe, hopefully Ren agrees to it and it is indeed ‘living in’. Hehe, that will pretty much put Shou in shock if he learns about it. =P There is also some discussion on how similar the two are and based on the flashback, Ren seems to also believe in magic stuff =P Just wait for the scanlation regarding clarifications and details. The bad news is that the next chapter will be on Februrary 5th. Oh well, at least, things are slowly moving between the two. Hehehe..finally?

Ookami-heika no Hanayome [Chapter 12 (or 9 in Chinese)]
Friday, December 31, 2010
While walking ahead, Reishou excitedly says that since she lives in the district of Shouan [<- invented name based on the kanji] so they should eat at that restaurant before going ahead. While wondering if he hasn’t eaten enough, Yuulin just says okay. Reishou happily muses out loud that he’s quite happy to see the vendor booths there which changes every time he goes there and it seems that there are many people there compared before. Yuulin just looks at him. At the restaurant, Yuulin asks him if he always secretly sneaks out of the palace. Reishou nervously laughs and says that lately, he is really serious at work. While Yuulin is wondering over that ‘lately’, Reishou tells her that even if he was born in the imperial palace but he grew up at the frontier. “Since I feel that the capital city is very fresh [<- new experiences], so for a time, I would always slip out.” Yuulin says is that so and it is quite unexpected that he grew up in the frontier. Reishou laughs and says that it could be that the capital city is his ‘depression’ [<- causes him depression if he didn’t go there?] that his father has sent him away and when he returned, he is no longer used to life in the palace and at that time, it was quite troublesome. Yuulin is speechless that he can talk about it in such a carefree way. Reishou apologizes to her since she is always in that suffocating environment and someone is always monitoring her. While surprised by what he said, she thinks that Reishou has his way of being thoughtful of her. Yuulin then exclaims to him that this is a rare vacation so they ought to enjoy it to the fullest. Reishou happily says, yes. Yuulin thinks that since they are already there, they should take it easy because surely, Reishou is also very tired acting out the ‘Wolf King’ everyday. Soon, Yuulin happily walks with Reishou to her house and points to him the places around it. Watching them from a building, someone talks to another asking if that girl is Yuulin and who is that guy with her. The other guy says that it is better that they report this to Ki Gaku-aniki. [aniki = brother/not blood related] Then, Yuulin is all sparkling that after they walked around to a lot of places, she is finally back home. Reishou says that he heard that her mother passed away early. Yuulin says yes and right now, it is only the three of them – her, her father and her younger brother. Blushing, Reishou says that going to the house of his bride makes him feel shy. Turning to him, Yuulin tells him to please act naturally for she has told her family and neighbors that she is working as a ‘palace maid’ and her real job is a secret as ordered by Jun. She tells Reishou to pretend as ‘Reishou-sama’, her boss so he shouldn’t make a mistake. Reishou smiles and says okay, it will be alright, and he won’t make a mistake. Yuulin sighs and thinks that she still feels a bit strange to be acting like ‘husband and wife’ with His Majesty but compared to the acting in the palace, this should be a lot easier because after all, this is her ‘original self’. Yuulin calls out to her father and Seishin, her brother that she is home.
A ruffled haired, with an eye patch on the right eye, guy greets her and says that she’s so slow. A younger boy [pre-teen, I assume] comes out behind that guy and says, sister, you are home. Reishou is surprised-puzzled upon seeing Yuulin looking totally horrified. Emitting dark chi, Yuulin angrily asks why Ki Gaku is in her house. She tells him to leave. Gaku asks if this is how she is supposed to greet her childhood friend. Shaking in aghast, Yuulin exclaims that she doesn’t treat the son of a loan shark [/money lender; I prefer loan shark since he looks like a gangster-type] as her childhood friend. Yuulin calls her brother and asks where their father is. Seishin goes to her and brings her a letter. Yuulin, together with Reishou, reads the letter. “I’m sorry, Yuulin! Because I didn’t have enough money in hand during the cock fighting that I borrowed money again. Please help me pay it ♡ Father” Seishin tells her that their father said that there is a drinking party at Yang-sama so he won’t be coming back. Yuulin crumples the letter and angrily exclaims if that old geezer has escaped and specially chose this day to do so. Yuulin accuses Gaku as a sinister loan shark since this time, it is just like before, when they fooled her father. [<- the ‘fooled’ is an idiom of ‘more money than sense’ so I wonder if they used to be rich until their father squandered it all then sunk in debt.] Gaku tells her that it was her father who came to them and they are just running a business. Gaku also tells her that if she wants to complain, then she can go say that to her father. Gaku then notices Reishou with a dreamy look as Reishou mutters that Yuulin looks really angry – it is a novelty. Gaku stares at Reishou and says that it seems that it is true about Yuulin is strolling around with a guy. “Where did this guy come from?” Yuulin quickly goes in front of Reishou and exclaims for Gaku not to be rude by staring. With a bored look, Gaku asks, “ Eh, why can’t I look?” Flustered, Yuulin exclaims that guy is ‘only’ her boss, because he has something to do today that he conveniently walked her home so Gaku shouldn’t say anything to offend him. Yuulin thinks that she doesn’t want this hoodlum get close to His Majesty. Reishou just has a smile and quietly watch them. Gaku laughs and says so that’s it. “Haha. That’s right, with that kind of looks, no family status, and also quite unrefined, that even among the commoners, no one would like you. It’s impossible for you to hook up a guy!” Yuulin’s expression darkens. She is totally furious that Gaku is saying all that right now. Yuulin shouts for him to shut up. Gaku continues to tease her she an ugly girl who just has to keep on working/doing household work. Yuulin is really frustrated and angry because she already knows what Gaku has been telling her for she also heard it in the streets that they are talking about her who just keep on working and doing family affairs that she would never be married off. [I think the note says that Gaku is the one who is spreading that about Yuulin.] She mentally tells herself that if ever Gaku/they knew that she is working as the temporary bride, she would definitely spitefully laugh at him/them. Flustered Yuulin shouts for Gaku to stop saying those things.
They were surprised when Reishou suddenly hugs Yuulin from behind and says that Yuulin can become a good wife. He smiles and tells Yuulin, “Right?” Yuulin blushes and asks what ‘right’. Gaku looks surprised by this. Reishou says that speaking of that, how much does her father owes. Holding a small money bag, he tells Yuulin that if there is a problem then how about using this [money] he brought. Yuulin asks what he is saying, then she turns around to see that he has brought his purse [/money bag]. Gaku says, “..ah, then he’s really your man, right? I really feel that he’s strange.” Flustered Yuulin shouts in denial that ‘it isn’t so’ 3x and don’t call him [Reishou] strange. Seishin tries to calm Yuulin down. [The part here is blurred but more shouting, probably she’ll pay the money then] Yuulin darkly tells Gaku to go home. Gaku finally relents that he’ll go and advises Yuulin to try hiding her true nature when she’s not in front of men so that she won’t be too unpopular. Yuulin shouts for him to shut up. Before leaving, Gaku looks at Reishou. While Gaku stares at him suspiciously, Reishou smiles and says, “Goodbye, lender-kun.” Gaku makes a parting shot at Yuulin by calling her stupid girl and to remember to pay the money. Soon, Yuulin is exhausted and tired as she sits on the bench out her house. She laments if this is a so-called vacation. In the end, the more cautious she was, the more suspicious it seems. She remembers her brother asking if Reishou is really not her lover. Flustered Yuulin exclaimed that she already said that it isn’t so. Blushing a bit, Seishin said is that so, okay, he understands. End flashback. Yuulin thinks that the look on her brother’s eyes says that ‘then, I believe you’. Yuulin lamely laughs at herself that Seishin is such a considerate kid. “It’s really strange. How could I be feeling more tired than when I was at the palace..?” Then, Reishou comes out and greets her. He asks if she isn’t going to sleep yet and is she watching the full moon. Yuulin says that she is planning to go to sleep. Reishou sits beside her and says that it is really fun today and the vacation is great. Yuulin lamely says, possibly, it was. Reishou happily says that he has seen a lot of Yuulin’s sides which he wasn’t aware of before. Embarrassed Yuulin nervously says that it is all her embarrassing side. Reishou happily whistles. Yuulin thinks that actually, it could also be her first time to see this not-acting side of Reishou. “He’s like a commoner. Walking in the streets, eating, being together felt really natural.. *shakes head* No, no, I cannot think too much. Originally, he is someone whom I couldn’t visit nor even talk with..” [<- referring to Reishou’s position]
Then, Reishou asks Yuulin if her relationship with that money lender has always been like that. Emiting dark aura, Yuulin says that is right and Gaku is always picking a quarrel with her/them and it is irritating that he would always rove around her father. Yuulin angrily exclaims that it is none of Gaku’s business whether she’s popular or not. Reishou smiles and tells Yuulin not to pay attention to Gaku when he picks a fight with her. Reishou thinks that is Gaku’s way of intimidating an outsider who intrudes into his territory but he won’t be telling that to Yuulin. Reishou smiles and tells Yuulin that she is really cute. Reishou is somewhat surprised when Yuulin laughs it off by saying that it is only he, who says that and he is quite considerate. Yuulin sweatdrops and feels embarrassed that she unexpectedly made His Majesty to come comfort her. Reishou frowns and says, “--You don’t believe me.” Yuulin is puzzled then goes into shock when Reishou stands up and holds her down to the bench. Blushing really red, Yuulin is exclaiming what it is, what happened. Reishou says that it is because she doesn’t listen to what he said. Yuulin says that she’s listening. Reishou says she didn’t. Yuulin is surprised when Reishou goes into wolf mode and says, “—You shouldn’t belittle yourself. You have a lot of good points, no matter what you dressed up as.. *smiles* You are still cute, my Princess. –with only the words of your husband-kun, you ought to definitely believe it.. --understand?” Teary-eyed Yuulin is totally speechless and blushing really red. She tries to push him away while saying that she understands, really understands so please release her..! Soon, Yuulin is standing up. She’s blushing and her heart is beating loudly. She thinks that in a flash, Reishou became the Wolf King when he obviously was like a puppy the whole day. Still sitting, Reishou smiles and says that it’s good that she understands. Still smiling, Reishou says that since it is a rare vacation, she shouldn’t be depressed. He tells her that he is going back to his room so see her tomorrow. After he left, Yuulin falls on the ground and blushes really red again. She wonders if just now, Reishou was comforting her or being mean to her. She thinks that what she clearly knows is with only that person [Reishou] beside her, a day of relaxing, doesn’t exist at all. Somewhere else, Gaku takes a drink from his underling and comments out loud that no matter how he thinks about it, that guy [Reishou] is really suspicious. “Fundamentally, since from the start, that girl is simply an idiot and a super slow-witted goody-goody. *scowls* If she is being deceived by some rich young master, as her childhood friend, how could I just look on without lifting a finger..” The underling sweatdrops and thinks that if Gaku is worried, then it would be better for him to just honestly tell Yuulin that he’s worried. Narration: “Thus, a vacation that is filled with twists and turns, continues..” Meanwhile, grumpy Jun, who is doing a lot of paper work, angrily complains, “How come I don’t have a vacation!”
This is the chapter that made me want to summarize this series. How can I resist cute puppy Reishou =P Based on their appearances, the three characters here of Reishou, Yuulin and Gaku reminds me of the lead characters in Fruit Basket. ^^; I guess Reishou is a bit of a delinquent-type of prince that is why he isn’t too uptight. With his frequent ‘escapes’ from the palace, he has become quite open-minded. Hm..now that I think of it, maybe this is how his puppy side of his personality is born. The wolf side is probably from his strict upbringing in the palace since he is always on-guard on everyone’s seemingly well intentions. Hehe, this could be part of the reason why he is puppy mode most of the time while they were in the city. Gaku is an interesting character. He seems like a brother/friend who is overly concerned with Yuulin especially since he thinks of her as a naive girl, and it’s true. ^^; Of course, rather than admitting it, he would resort to bullying and intimidation. Maybe, it is because of their business ^^; Being sharp as he is, Reishou easily saw through it. Hehe, of course, if it is a possible love rival, Reishou is sharper than normal =P Also, I think Reishou is probably glad that Yuulin had a father like that since it pretty much guarantees that Yuulin will be working for a long time for him..and he still has time to woo her =P I kind of feel sorry for him since Yuulin seems to assume that he is a source of her stress thus she cannot relax on her vacation and well, it seems that whenever Reishou is being a serious romantic, he unconsciously reverts to wolf mode which Yuulin still instinctively fears. Hehe, it is obvious that she is confusing her fear with love since her heart is beating loudly and she is really flustered. Hehe, Jun is so amusing..I think he will ‘slave-drive’ the two when they return =P Or, I think it will be a long time before Yuulin gets a break again because there is a high percentage that Reishou would tag along =P Scans by Xiuxiu for BW

Stardust★Wink [Side Story on Coco]
Wednesday, December 29, 2010
Young Sou and Hianta look at the cage of a squirrel happily eating a nut. At the side, the price of the squirrel is 4900 yen. Sou comments that such a small squirrel can be quite expensive. He asks the pet shop saleslady why that other squirrel costs only 3900 yen. The lady tells him that the older the squirrel is, the more expensive it is. He is surprised when Hinata tells him that they should just forget about it – using this squirrel as replacement. Still looking at the squirrel, Hinata says, “It would be better to just tell Anna that Coco is dead.. Even if it is the same squirrel but, their faces don’t look the same. We’ll be exposed.” Sou looks at the squirrel and says that he cannot differentiate it so what’s different about the face. Sou is surprised when Hinata angrily shouts, “Sou, how are you talking about, it’s totally different!! Don’t you know?! It’s just like we, humans, don’t have the same face! Each squirrel has their own differences. It could be longer faces or rounder eyes. *gesturing to the two squirrels* Look, you can totally notice that the right squirrel here is a lot cuter than the left one. It is the first time that I have seen such a cute squirrel!” Sou just gloomily wonders what’s up with Hinata to blab on like that. Hinata blushes as he points to the squirrel that it is really cute. Sou says if that is okay then they’ll buy it. “We will still use it as a replacement. If Anna noticed it, then we’ll tell her the truth. This is okay, right?” At the playground, the two boys call out to Anna who is looking for Coco. They tell her that they had found Coco. Teary-eyed Anna looks at the squirrel in the pail and asks, “..Coco?” The two boys watch nervously. Anna then cries ala waterfalls and shouts, “Coco—(cry)!!! Geez, where did you go- I’m super duper worried about you--!!” ‘Coco’ just looks at her in puzzlement. The two boys just look dumbfound. Narration: “Anna didn’t notice it so they are relieved. But, the two boys became depressed since Anna is unexpectedly stupid that she didn’t notice that it was a replacement. It was mixed feelings for Sou and Hinata.

Faster Than A Kiss [Chapter 40]
Tuesday, December 28, 2010
After a lot of ruckus and going into shock, Kazuma has a frozen smile on his face and angrily asks why Ryuu is there. Ryuu just tensely smiles and says that they are just going out for some fresh air. Teppei sees Fumino’s friends making some flower wreath so it seems that Teppei is asking if he can stay for a day. Kazuma then looks at Fumino who then looks away from him. While Kazuma is speechless over being snubbed, Teppei seems to ask Fumino about why she is scowling that Fumino just says she is alright and she is just a bit tired from all that studying. She playfully tells him that if she wears a wreath he made, she will have lots of energy. Teppei becomes excited over this. The PE teacher then calls out that there are 10 minutes left before lunch break is over. While Fumino says that she is leaving, Teppei exclaims for Fumino to do her best in studying and he will definitely make that wreath. While walking, Fumino is thinking of doing her best when a paper, blown by the wind, smacks right on to her face. She takes it off and sees Kazuma trying to gather the papers he is holding before they are blown by the wind. Using this chance to talk with him, Fumino slams the paper near Kazuma’s hand and says that in short, he doesn’t want to tell her about it. Kazuma asks if it about his mother. Kazuma is about to call her name but flustered Fumino says that even if she didn’t say it, but it doesn’t mean imply that she hasn’t heard about it. She also says that she is only enduring but she actually really wants to know. He seems to just say, ya. The scene shows that their fingers are slightly touching each other. Later on, Teppei thinks that the flowers aren’t enough at the back. Ryuu is also teaching some other kids how to make the wreaths. Teppei is granted permission by Ryuu to go to that side to get some more flowers. He tells Teppei not to go too far. Teppei says okay and runs off. Then, Ryuu begins to wonder if that is okay since they are near the hotel. Soon, he doesn’t see Teppei around. He looks for Teppei but Teppei is nowhere to be found.
Kazuma looks out the window and thinks that even if he apologized to Fumino, but at that time, he was really frightened [by Shoma’s mother?] for it has been ten years since he just left without a word. He is surprised when someone bumps into him. Shoma’s mother freaks out since she has spilled some drink on Kazuma’s sleeve. She panics and asks him to remove his shirt. Kazuma tells her that it is okay. Shoma’s mother kept on apologizing for she is always looking at the side while walking. She is surprised when Kazuma says, “Calm down, mother!” While Kazuma is asking her if she hasn’t gone home yet since this morning, he is shock to see that Shoma’s mother is crying. He asks why. She tells him that she is really moved because he never called her, mother, before and it is good if they can keep on talking like that. Kazuma looks a bit flustered-sad. Kazuma is also surprised by what he did for at that time, he was already rejected [<- Shoma’s mother holding toddler Shoma and young Kazuma looking on]. Holding Kazuma’s sleeve, she asks if he still remembers that their last family trip is in that place. Kazuma says yes, since he has a lot of troublesome feelings then that he doesn’t feel good so he decided to go home alone. While walking home, young Shoma followed him. Shoma’s mother says that in the end, he returned to bring feverish Shoma back and even told her not to tell Shoma about this and considering himself and them as family. [<- not sure on that last one.] Shoma’s mother sadly says that after leaving that place, she always regretted for if only they had a proper talk. Kazuma just says yes. He thinks that right now, he understands how painful it is. “Actually, I’ve always did my best to be part of the family and even if it’s at that family [<- with Fumino.]”
Then, there is an announcement telling everyone if they had seen a 5 year old boy wearing blue coat and white shirt + shorts named Teppei, they are to inform them about it. After hearing this, Fumino quickly rushes to Ryuu and apologizes for the trouble. Ryuu exclaims that she doesn’t have to apologize to him. She asks if Teppei is still not found. Ryuu says that the hotel staff is already looking for him nearby and he will also join them. If it becomes dark, they will be calling the police. Fumino wants to go, too. Kazuma calls out to her and tells her that she is in the middle of an exam so just leave it to the hotel staff to do the search. Fumino apologizes and says that she will return after finding Teppei and she’ll accept whatever punishment later on. Then, that glasses teacher shouts at Kazuma for letting Fumino go. Kazuma tells him how Fumino could concentrate on the exam knowing that her younger brother is lost. Kazuma thinks that Fumino is really worried because she has already lost some family members and because he is a teacher, he won’t be told/reprimanded even if he left. He remembers Shoma. He quickly finds Shoma and asks him to bring some papers to the teacher and say that he had a sudden attack that his stomach really hurts that he cannot endure it that he has to go to the toilet. After Kazuma says that this is life’s wish, sparkling Shoma agrees to what Kazuma asked him to do and gives the papers to the PE teacher. Kazuma thinks that he is also Teppei’s family so no matter what reason, this is something he has to do. Carrying an umbrella, he wonders how Ryuu’s side is doing. Then, he gets a call from Shoma. Shoma tells Kazuma that Fumino called a while ago and said that she has found Teppei and they would be returning but after an hour, they still haven’t returned. Kazuma asks where Fumino said that she found Teppei. Shoma says that it is at a nearby church but the signal isn’t good that the line was suddenly cut off. Then suddenly Kazuma lost contact with Shoma. He thinks that it is a special kind of fear, that unlimited despair, to suddenly not have a family/family member which Fumino and Teppei had experienced. He still cannot contact Fumino. Soon, Kazuma drops/put down his umbrella as he desperately tries to look for them. While doing so, he thinks that it is quite a good occasion to still have a mother who told him about wanting to talk with him like that. But on his side, he would still keep secrets when Fumino really wanted to know. “If they aren’t here anymore, then I..!!”
Dripping wet, Kazuma opens the church door and finds Kazuma and Teppei hugging each other by the altar. They happily call out to him. Kazuma quickly runs to them and gives them a tight hug. Teary-eyed, Kazuma shouts, “You made me worry, idiot!” Flustered and surprised, Fumino apologizes. Kazuma puts his coat on her head and tries to dry her hair off. Fumino asks how he found them when her cellphone started to have no batteries anymore. Kazuma says that he heard that they are in a church so he asks around all the nearby churches. Fumino freaks out that he look at all the churches. Kazuma looks thoughtful as if he realized something. Kazuma says that being in church and holding her like this, it seems like it is a wedding. Fumino blushes. Kazuma thinks that she’s really cute. Teppei gives him the wreath which Kazuma puts on Fumino’s head. Kazuma says, “(I pray from my heart) Whether in sickness or in health, till death do us part.. Whether in joy or sorrow.. I vow to be with you (I will always love you, always until the very end of my life) forever.. *kisses her on the forehead* (So..no matter what, do not leave me..)” Kazuma looks at her in surprise since she is crying. He asks her what the matter is. Fumino says no for he didn’t any foolish thing but she is quite moved. “I also, I also! *hugs him* I’ll always be by your side!” While Teppei looks happily at the two, Kazuma says that whenever it is, he will properly tell her whatever secrets there are. Narration: “Using my whole body to protect you, [let’s] continue on living together!” I think Fumino asks if they are going to hold their wedding there again. It seems that Fumino is flustered about this. Later on, Ryuu hugs Teppei as Kazuma kicks Ryuu for the trouble he caused. Then, Kazuma probably says to continue things later on or keep it a secret that he helped in the search. Flustered Fumino anticipates that the secret things that he would tell her will be about Kazuma’s father. Her happiness is cut short when smiling Kazuma with the other teachers that she has returned and her younger brother has safely returned so, they can now put into reality that ‘I’ll take whatever punishment’. While Fumino is working hard in answering with the teachers shouting this and that stuff. Fumino gloomily thinks that Kazuma really switches personality so fast. Narration: “In the end, for two nights, I was made to say and do assignments and this study training is quite meaningful.” Afterwards, probably the day after..Shoma goes to tell Kazuma something ↓
Hehe, so in the next chapter, we’ll probably know about Kazuma’s past regarding his father. Somehow, I feel that his father cannot be all that bad since he has fallen for Shoma’s mother who is a bit clumsy and likeable. I imagine that his parents could have also met that way..she spills water on him and tells the father to remove his shirt. =P I do wonder if it is really clumsy or deliberate ^^;; I guess their mother is fond of Fumino is because she is going to have a daughter, soon. The wedding vow is really nice..it is like a private ceremony though I wonder if we will still have a formal wedding later on since it is already done here. Well, at least there is still that kiss to anticipate it. Lastly, after everything that has happened, I think that for Shoma, based on this chater, his admiration for his brother/brother complex is still stronger than his love for Fumino. =P Scans by yuu_Chan.

Reimei no Arcana -Dawn of the Arcana- [Chapters 20-21]
Monday, December 27, 2010
First of all, I just want to correct what I mentioned about Aohal Ride before. It seems that the Ren look-alike is just a look-alike. From this picture of Betsuma Sister cover by BW’s filion, the guy has a mole on his cheek. He has that speck at the other scans before, too. So..it wasn’t dirt =P About this summary, it is a bit sad regarding the Cain parts so whether to read it or not, for now, I’ll leave it up to you.
Nakaba looks surprised-sad by this that she quickly holds his hand. She blames herself for being weak. While crying, Nakaba says that Loki didn’t do anything wrong. “It is because of me..Cain obviously should have a beautiful future but I..I..only wanted to protect Emilia..” Loki hugs her and tells her that she didn’t change fate, and this isn’t a light matter. “It’s paying the corresponding price..this isn’t your fault.” Nakaba looks surprised and asks if Loki knew about it, because before, when she asked him about the Arcana, he told her ‘it will make you regret’ and ‘it isn’t necessary to know’.. “Is this what you meant?” Nakaba thinks that the price of a life is also a life. “Since it is like that, then what is the reason that this ability exists? Even if one has seen the future, there is only pain. If it is like that, I do not want this ability.” Nakaba cries as Loki hugs to comfort her. Later on, Emilia comes in with some food for Nakaba to her room. She drops the tray of food that she is carrying after looking shocked that Nakaba isn’t in the room. She quickly informs Caesar and Loki that she couldn’t find Nakaba. The two guys decide to head out and look for her since Nakaba shouldn’t be that far away. Nakaba is walking by the forest towards the lake. She continues to wonder why the Arcana of Time exists and it is better to have an ability like Leo’s for not only is it strong, it can also protect people and definitely, Cain wouldn’t have died.. To her surprise, her Arcana suddenly activates. She ‘sees’ young Cain looking at toddler Caesar in the crib. Caesar grabbed Cain’s hair. Cain exclaimed that it hurts and what is he doing. With a twinkle in his eyes, Caesar said that his hair is sparkling-shiny. Cain somewhat laughed in disbelief that Caesar liked his hair. The nanny came and told Cain that he is truly liked by Caesar. “Since Cain doesn’t always come, Caesar is particularly happy on the occasion that Cain does.” While Caesar continued to say ‘shiny’, the nanny told Cain to come and play again. Cain went outside and stood by the door. He looked glum then started crying that he didn’t want to feel this way. “That child doesn’t have any fault, no fault..mama..I, am becoming more and more repulsive--..” End flashback. Nakaba wakes up from the ‘dream’. She calls out Cain’s name. She got dizzy that she slipped and fell into the water. She realizes that she fell into the lake. She tries to hurriedly go up for she..
A little while ago, Caesar is looking for Nakaba in the forest. Breathing hard, Caesar wonders where Nakaba went when she is in that condition. He then spots Nakaba by the clearing. He is in shock when she suddenly falls into the water. Caesar shouts that Nakaba is stupid for suddenly committing suicide. He strips off his cloak and other heavy things before diving into the water to save Nakaba. He then takes her back to land. While Nakaba is coughing, Caesar asks if she is alright. Nakaba is about to thank him when Caesar hugs her and says that he won’t let her commit suicide. Nakaba is puzzled. Caesar becomes puzzled, too then he asks if she couldn’t swim. Nakaba mutters that because it is cold in Senan, she doesn’t swim. Caesar is a bit embarrassed over this misunderstanding. He then says, “If you also aren’t here..” Caesar pulls up his hair and says that he’s cold because he’s all wet. Nakaba looks surprised at him and thinks that she is only considering her own feelings when Caesar just lost his ‘brother’. Caesar is surprised when Nakaba asks if he is in grief. Caesar says he isn’t. “I know that brother always alienates himself from me. Even if I wanted to be in good terms with him when I was young *Young Caesar following Cain and praising Cain for being amazing* but that kind of thinking gradually become twisted.. Since he hated me, then I’ll also hate him..” Nakaba tells him that Cain envied him and also felt frustrated over him..it is only because he is lonely. Remembering young Cain saying that he doesn’t want to feel that way and Caesar isn’t at fault, Nakaba exclaims to Caesar, “He liked you!” Looking surprised, Caesar is speechless before saying, “.. ...really.” While Nakaba looks as if she is going to cry, Caesar smiles and says, “Because I have you, so even if I’m in grief.. I won’t feel lonely. Thank you, it’s really baffling, that it seems I really didn’t hate my brother at all.” Nakaba thinks that the Arcana of Time not only to see the future but it also can do this, saving a person’s heart.
Caesar is surprised when Nakaba wipes his face, below the eye. Caesar asks what she is doing. Nakaba says that it is because she thought Caesar is crying. Caesar calls her stupid for it is just water. Nakaba says, “But, if you really cry, I will help wipe your tears away. (The you who gave me courage, I..) Caesar. I like you.” Caesar looks surprised at smiling Nakaba. Surprised and somewhat flustered Caesar hugs her and exclaims, “I love you! Nakaba, I love you..” Nakaba happily clings on to him and thinks, “I still don’t know if the power of the Arcana of Time can save people. But, even if I don’t have this ability, with only you at my side, I can be saved. Since it is like this, I also thought, of becoming that kind of existence..” They didn’t notice that Loki is standing behind them. Seeing the two in each other’s embrace then a kiss, Loki looks up to the moon and sadly mutters that he is very envious of Caesar for he only used some simple words to save Nakaba. “I don’t have that kind of ability..” Later on, Nakaba bows to everyone and apologizes for making them worried and she is alright now so they should quickly be on their way. She asks Belanus what is the situation right now. Belanus says that he still doesn’t know how they are regarded in Belquat whether they are traitors or unaccounted for but no matter what it is, one thing is for sure, they will be chased after by the soldiers. “Next..we are looking for ways to oppose the use of the Retina [/ the ore; according to jap wiki, that is the name of the ore.], for that reason, we need to have some assistance and comrades. Besides, in order to avoid the soliders, I would wish to avoid roads that lead back to the kingdom. If Belquat thinks of us as traitors, then all the more, we cannot go back.” Nakaba asks what they should do. Belanus suggests that they first hide while waiting for news and since it is dangerous to stay within Belquat, they should go to Senan. Nakaba and Loki are surprised over this suggestion. Loki tells Nakaba that regarding news about Belquat, they can gather it from Ajin-s who are living in different places.
They were surprised when the village head, together with Leopard and Leo, tells them to leave that to them. He also tells them that it is thanks to them, that there were few sacrifices. Those who were alright have divided the clan into units and dispersed into various places. Nakaba is relieved to hear that. The village head says that they owed them and they would want to help them. Surprised-looking Nakaba thanks him. To Leo’s surprise, the village head orders him to go with Nakaba and others because his ability would be of help to them. Leo refuses and why would the head suddenly want him to be with humans. Caesar tells him that they don’t need him and if he is unwilling then it would just be troublesome for them. The village head laughs and says that Leo doesn’t hate humans, but on contrary, he fears them. Leo looks surprised with a slight pained look. He holds his bandaged left arm and looks away from Nakaba. Nakaba tells Leo that this trip will definitely be hard but with his ability, it will definitely be a big help. Nakaba also tells him that they aren’t going to force him to go against his wishes. After a pause, Leo says that he will go with them since they owed them and he is only paying a debt of gratitude. Nakaba looks surprised before breaking into a smile and thanks Leo. Emilia asks her brother how they are going to Senan since they would need border passes to cross the border and it would be a hassle to get one now. Belanus smiles and says that he has an idea on that but he would need everyone’s cooperation. Meanwhile, at the Belquat castle, the ministers/advisers are talking. One asks what it is about. Another one asks if it is true that Cain-sama has died. Someone says that it is true for they are going to hold a state funeral soon. The servants are also gossiping. One says that she heard that an Ajin killed Cain. Another one says that she heard that they were fighting over the right to heir which ended with Caesar killing Cain. Someone exclaims that it is impossible and it could be Senan. The other says that if it is so then the situation is really grave. At some room, Lucia hits away a cup from the table in anger. She is furious over the gossips going around the castle for suddenly assuming that this is all an evil scheme of Caesar against Cain. She says that if this spreads to the commoners then Caesar’s image would become bad. Looking thoughtful, she mutters that what’s important right now is where Caesar is since they suddenly lost contact with him. She wants to find Caesar as soon as possible because right now, the one who is going to succeed the throne would definitely be Caesar.
Meanwhile, Louise is sitting by the window. There is a table with a small vase on it. She looks lost in thought then mutters that Cain is dead. “The one with the golden hair. My fiance. I’ve always admire Ceasar-sama and my father also told me that sooner or later, I will become Caesar’s bride..I also really anticipated that. But, Caesar-sama was taken away by Senan’s red haired princess..so I was to be wed with Cain-sama..” Flashback: Cain asked Louise if she wants to go to the courtyard because right now, it is the season when roses bloom and there are many beautiful red roses. Louise sipped her drink and told him that she isn’t feeling well. “I like white roses more.” A bit flustered Cain asks is that so, and is she alright. End flashback. Louise sadly thinks, “Such a pitiful person..a prince who doesn’t have pure royal blood..” Flashback: Cain and Louise were making love. Louise moaned and looked at Cain. She then looked away and closed her eyes. She wondered why, when it should have been Caesar who is in her embrace. Looking sad, Cain told her, “Louise, I’m sorry, I know your heart isn’t at my side. The one whom you probably like is him.. Even if it is like that, it’s okay, can you stay by my side?” Louise thought, “At one side, he is saying that even if it is like this, it is alright. While on the other side, he has this sad smile. You.. if it is alright to be like this, ..then, fine. Because I, too, no matter what, can no longer hope for Caesar-sama. *Louise then put her hand down and embraced Cain.* You one-sidedly love me while I one-sidedly love Caesar-sama. Misery loves company and it is really kind of a match.” Later on, Louise is being dressed up by a couple of maids. She noticed a rose on a small vase placed on the table. Louise asked about it. The maid told her that it was given by Cain, early in the morning. Louise asked if they already left. The maid said yes and it seems that they are going to some inspection near the border. Louise said, is that so. She looked at the white rose. Louise slightly blushed and smiled. She said, “I’ll wait for his return. I ought to thank him.” End flashback. Louise starts crying. She covers her face as she sobs. On the table, the white rose has already withered. At some room, Conan is sitting and thinks that his son unexpectedly.. Looking thoughtful, he wonders if the one who will bring Belquat to ruin is ‘that side’..
Somewhere else, Nakaba asks Belanus if this is Lunci, [<- invented name] the border town. Belanus says that it is true and across that bridge is already Senan. Nakaba says that she knows that but.. Belanus asks what. Embarrassed Nakaba exclaims why is she wearing that kind of outfit and it’s cold. Nakaba and Emilia are scantily dressed up as dancers while the others are dressed in Arabian-Moroccan type of outfits. [Amusingly, it is only Belanus and Loki who are all covered up. =P ] Caesar is also protesting over Nakaba’s outfit. Belanus says that it really suits everyone. Caesar exclaims what he is talking about when they look like performers. Belanus says that it as he said, they are going to pretend to be traveling performers. He explains that normally, they would need a passes to cross the border but it is a special case for traveling performers though they still have to have certification that they are performers. “Because a country’s prince, as well as his servants, will absolutely not do this kind of idiotic thing, so I think that this will not attract any suspicion..” Caesar doesn’t look too happy about being implied as stupid. =P Belanus tells them that the representative of Lunci is a nobleman called Geda [<- invented name]. They would need to perform to this man in order to prove that they are performers. If he recognizes them as performers then, they can go into Senan. Later that night, in the nobleman’s house, a servant asks if they are traveling performers. After going in and telling Geda about it, the servant comes out and tells them that Geda has told them to come in. Belanus looks happy over this and says that they’ll be going in. [<- being polite] Inside, Geda, together with a young woman clinging on him, happily says that they came and they want verification of their identity. Belanus introduces himself to Geda that he is the leader/manager of the troop. He tells Geda that they lost their proof of identity and would need to go to Senan. Geda didn’t let Belanus finish and that they’ll just talk about it after the performance for he wants to be entertained now. Nakaba, together with Emilia, dance while Lito plays the tambourine. Geda is amazed by how well Nakaba dances. Belanus thanks him for his comment and says that her movements are quite splendid that it is a big help to their group. He tells Geda to continue to enjoy watching. Leo makes fire balls and juggles them. Geda is amazed at how he can juggle them without being burnt by it. Belanus says that he is the highly anticipated new recruit. Leo then blows fire on to Loki’s sword/s. Geda is amazed that the fire has been transferred. Weilding two swords, Loki then fights against Caesar who has one sword. Geda is cheering loudly.
While showing their fighting prowess, Caesar is surprised when Loki smiles at him. Soon, Loki overpowers Caesar and defeats him. On the ground, Loki points his sword at him, Caesar looks tense because a while ago, Loki is serious [in fighting?/ can really move but I think it is the former]. Geda happily claps and says that it’s very daring. Belanus asks Geda about his opinion about their group. Geda says that it is amazing that he has no choice but to give them the certification. Belanus asks if they can quickly have that certificate. While looking at the two girls, Geda says that everyone’s performance is great but they would need to wait awhile for the certificate. Later on, Caesar is complaining to Loki that he didn’t do things according to plan but Loki says that the way he did it that way so that it will be more exciting. Then, Lito enters the room. Leo asks him where the two girls are for they said that they are going to change clothes since it is cold, so could it be that they aren’t finished. Caesar and Loki look serious when Lito innocently told them that Geda took them to another room. In that room, Nakaba, with Emilia, asks Geda why he called them. Geda tells them to come near him. They did. Emilia looks suspicious that she mutters to Nakaba that it is.. Nakaba says yes, it is the bedroom. The guys hurry to the bedroom. Caesar exclaims that Geda is a perverted old man and if he dares touch Nakaba, he absolutely won’t forgive him. Holding up his sword, Loki says that if he dare touch Nakaba, he’ll dismember Geda into ten thousand pieces. Caesar sweatdrops and just says, oy, oy. [<- that’s too much] While running, Caesar remembers Nakaba saying that she likes him. He thinks, “Nakaba, is my wife. I honestly do not want her to get involved in dangerous things. I don’t want her to have painful memories. [<- Cain died] I do not want her to pay attention to any other man. [<-asking him to save Loki] But, because she is this kind of woman, I was attracted to her. Perhaps, I liked those strong-looking eyes. Eyes, lips, hands, and everything belongs to me. I want to protect her. I vowed to make her happy, so I--..” Back in the bedroom, the girls are cornered in the bed. Geda approaches them. He tells them that this time, they are to use that other kind of performance to make him happy.
I think it is super obvious that Nakaba will end up with Caesar unless something happens. It seems that Loki has somewhat accepted this though he would still bully Caesar if he can. =P It is amusing how both guys are envious of each other but of course, they are both special to Nakaba but in different ways and they are irreplaceable. Well, I almost thought that because of what happened, it will start a rift between Nakaba and Loki. It is still too early to say if it did since there aren’t much interaction between the two afterwards. And, it is indeed really sad regarding the ‘what could have been’ for Cain. It’s too bad that he became fixated over killing Emilia that he lost his happy ending. I don’t necessarily blame the Arcana of Time for this because it is Cain’s decision and it is the consequence of what he tried to do. Nakaba shouldn’t blame it because with or without it, everything we decide to do can change things and it will have its consequences. I feel sorry for Louise, too since she lost the one she loved and the one whom she is learning to love. Hmm..what are the chances that she is pregnant? Conan’s reaction is a bit strange that I begin to wonder that the Arcana of Time has predicted something bad about him before that is why he tried to wipe it out. It could be something about Nakaba who escaped the massacre. I’m curious how they are going to deal with that guy since if they caused too much ruckus, their whereabouts would be known yet they need the guy to cross the border. Can they make this a win-win situation? I have a feeling that this guy always did that with the beautiful female performers and it is sad because those who have no power/strength cannot refuse him. Why do I feel that the author likes to cosplay/dress up the characters? Before, it is animal-like outfits, and now, it is performers =P I’m not really complaining and I’m curious, what’s the next outfit? Also, I’m happy that they are indeed going to travel around the country ^-^ Scans by 玉/wdsjznl for BW.

La Corda d'Oro [Chapter 72]
Sunday, December 26, 2010
[The speech balloons are a bit confusing but I think] Nami teases Ryoutaro that Kahoko didn’t notice his feelings so he shouldn’t be gloomy nor blame himself for it/for teasing Kahoko. Ryoutaro laments over being teased by Nami then he asks about her having free time to intervene/meddle. She says that is good for Ryoutaro dared to say it. It seems that Nami wanted to tell Kazuki if he knows that Kahoko didn’t notice his feelings. Ryoutaro sweatdrops and says that is what Nami wanted to say and she shouldn’t go over the top. Nami sweatdrops that she has been exposed. Kazuki sneezes out loud [<- belief that one sneezes for no reason when on is being talked behind one’s back]. Kahoko comes out of the music room and asks if he caught a cold. Kazuki apologizes for surprising her about it. Kahoko says that it isn’t so but rather, the exam is coming soon so he should take care of his health. Kazuki happily smiles and thanks her. She then tells him to tell her about college stuff when he’s in college and she wanted to do her best to be his kouhai again. Kazuki realizes that she is going to pursue music and he encourages her about it. Kahoko thanks him and she will do her best not to be fail/be a drop out student because of failing. Holding her shoulder, Kazuki gloomily tells her that is something he doesn’t want to hear right now. Kahoko apologizes for her lack of sensitivity. He then apologizes for interrupting her practice and tells her to do her best. After he left, Kahoko looks at her hands and thinks that whenever she talks with Kazuki, she becomes quite pepped up. She then remembers Ryoutaro. She thinks that it is the same with him, too..always.. Later on, Ryoutaro is surprised to see breathless from running Kahoko holding his arm. She says that it’s good that he hasn’t left and regarding yesterday.. Ryoutaro nervously tells her to calm down. Kahoko realizes that everyone else is eavesdropping as to what happened yesterday. Kahoko profusely apologizes to Ryoutaro.
At some park, flustered Kahoko tells Ryoutaro that she felt that things cannot always go on like this so it isn’t like she didn’t thought of how to answer him yet she doesn’t know what she should say. She is embarrassed when Ryoutaro smiles and tells her to calm down. She exclaims why he is so calm. She then blushes really red while looking at him. She covers her face and apologizes for it shouldn’t be like this. Ryoutaro sighs and pats her head. He says that he knows that she isn’t used to this kind of thing. Still blushing, Kahoko says, “But..thank you, Tsuchiura. Yesterday..that was really quite sudden. Even if I’m quite startled by it but I’m very happy..” This made Ryoutaro slightly flustered that he tells her that he also said that he wasn’t expecting her answer. He looks serious and asks her if she is conscious/aware of it. He smiles at her flustered-surprised face. He then corrects himself that it made him aware of it. She asks why he is saying that as if it is an order. Ryoutaro says that it is inevitable because she has always made him perplexed. Kahoko sweatdrops in surprise over this. Meanwhile, Kazuki remembers his conversation with Kahoko. He becomes happy that they can still be together. Last scene, Len is playing the violin when someone exclaims bravo after he played. Len coldly asks who wavy haired guy is. The guy laughs and apologizes. He introduces himself as Miola [<- I know this name is wrong but it just sounds like that in Chinese ^^;] and asks Len not to be angry. Miola then realizes that Len is the new transfer student from Japan. He comments over the unexpectedly choice for a music piece. Patting Len’s shoulder, Miola asks, “Do you really like Ave Maria?” After a pause, Len smiles and says, “Ya, [I] really like [it].” And I guess that puts the issue of who she’ll end up with behind. Since this chapter pretty much says that the ‘one’ is..Len. I don’t think there would be any huge surprises her for something what is inevitable. The side story is basically about the contrast on how Kazuki and Azume spend their New Year. For the rest of the Lala New Year strips, go to 鏡花水月’s. Scans by 鏡花水月 for 琴音翻译组.

Wah..I really feel sorry for Shinya. It is so sad and I'm hoping that he would somehow at least get to fulfill his dreams though I don't think he can get Riko. It’s somewhat infuriating to read something when the guy one likes is obviously not going to get the girl. ^^; I can really relate to Shinya..even if he does seem like the ‘bad guy’ in this series. Soichiro is really manipulative. He does have talent in music and scouting talent but somehow I think that Aki cannot easily break away from him. Soichiro pretty much made him to what he is now. Vampire Knight [Chapter 67] Teaser
Thursday, December 23, 2010
There is a teaser from 鏡花水月. The Lala cover is indeed the one I showed below. The inside cover is of Yuuki on the foreground, Kaname then Zero’s back at the background. The turn of events is not that reassuring, she says. And it is a bit gory, I might say..not for the faint heart? Yori went to the stable to wake Zero up. In the end, it made Zero remember his past with Yuuki [Edit: when Yori mentioned that Yuuki hasn't changed at all]. It seems that he is emitting his vampire aura that it has agitated the horses. Then, Aidou papa followed Sara’s car. He didn’t expect that Sara wanted to kill that pureblood to get his power. [Since I don’t remember the names of minor suddenly appearing characters, I think it is the one whom Ruka and Kain visited before but was supposed to be in hibernation. I think the girl bleeding on the floor was his guard.] There is a scene of the hibernating pureblood trying to attack Sara by ripping off her arm but Sara got his heart, probably to swallow it. In the end, she licks off the blood from the heart and it seems that she is covered with spider-like veins. Then, in front of Aidou papa, Kaname kills off the pureblood guy who has gone mad with a sword. And it seems that Kaname just beheaded Aidou papa, who is bowing his head and kneeling to Kaname, right in front of Hanabusa, Yuuki and Kaien. Just check the scanlations for the reason for this. At the end, Kaname turns into a bat in front of Yuuki and others, and disappeared. [Edit: Before he left, he told Yuuki that when he was at a loss, he would choose passing time with her but it is still the same with the first plan he did. "I'm sorry..thank you..Yuuki.."] 鏡花水月 is nervous for Kaname for it seems that he is ‘burning out his light’ and she hopes that she is mistaken. Hehe, so my vibes that Kaname was saying goodbye to Yuuki before was right? He doesn’t seem to be pretending as the ‘nice vampire brother’ anymore. I’ll be glad if he had moved on from Yuuki but then, I hope he doesn’t die or anything. And after everything, he still looks sad..just like Zero. Anyway, as usual, just wait for the scanlations for the details. Scans by 玖玖爱枢
Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu [Chapter 77]
Wednesday, December 22, 2010
At the cram school, Tsubaki is tense for it is finally the day when she would have class with Nako. She wonders how to face her since Nako is now her love rival. She is startled when Nako shouts her name. Braces for what Nako is going to say, Tsubaki greets her a good evening. Nako shouts what’s up with Kyouta. Tsubaki innocently asks what it is. Flustered Nako shouts that ever since that day, when Kyouta chased after Tsubaki and abandoned her brother’s research lecture, until now, she couldn’t contact Kyouta. Tsubaki realizes that even if she gave Kyouta Nako’s contact information, he didn’t contact Nako. Tsubaki tries to tell her the reason when Nako shouts, “That day was his good chance to be introduced to Professor Kaminaga!” Tsubaki is stunned. Tsubaki mutters if that Kaminaga is the one whom Kyouta idolizes. Tsubaki couldn’t believe that it was an important appointment yet Kyouta didn’t tell her about it. Tsubaki realizes that he couldn’t tell her for that day, she was really worried about his and Nako’s relationship and Kyouta is considering her [Tsubaki’s] feelings. Nako laments that she really doesn’t understand what Kyouta is thinking. Tsubaki exclaims that it isn’t so. “I’m sorry! It is my fault..!” Nako looks surprised. While the teacher is lecturing, Nako, who is sitting beside Tsubaki, says so..Kyouta also changed his phone number and email address. Nako tells Tsubaki that she feels that it isn’t Tsubaki’s fault. Tsubaki is surprised by this. Nako says that if Tsubaki is to blame, then she [Nako] cannot escape responsibility either for she said that thing ‘Tsubaki doesn’t want me to see Kyouta’. “But, this feeling of entanglement and not going to the research are two different things. If he cannot go, then he should at least contact me. I couldn’t contact his phone. Everyone at research and Professor Kaminaga were disappointed... If things progressed smoothly, then, like me, it wouldn’t have been hard to get a recommendation from Professor Kaminaga..” Tsubaki couldn’t believe all this. She starts to wonder what Kyouta has been feeling when he said that he will be with her all day that day. She is startled when her phone starts to ring. While thinking that she forgot to turn it off, she frantically tries to read it. It is a message from Kyouta telling her that they are going to meet in front of that university at 9:30 and she isn’t to leave until he gets there. Tsubaki looks flustered as if she is about to cry. “I originally thought that it will be okay if I only just wish him luck [gambatte] afterwards.. I originally thought that if I only determined my goal afterwards, I can face Tsubaki-kun with my head held high. But I unexpectedly..destroyed a good opportunity for Tsubaki-kun [‘s dream] to expand..” Tsubaki looks depressed as she limply holds her phone down.
On Saturday, Kyouta is hurriedly running at the streets. He looks at his phone and it is already 9:54. He curses that he won’t make it in time. He calls Tsubaki on the phone. Tsubaki answers it. Kyouta apologizes for the train was late and he thinks that he won’t make it in time for the public lecture. “So, can you go ahead to the classroom? I’m still at the pedestrian bridge..” [Kyouta thinks that it will take a long time to go to the bridge that] he decides to goes over the road fence to cross the street. While crossing the street and talking on the cellphone, Kyouta calls out hello and Tsubaki’s name since she isn’t answering. “What? Are you angry? This is something that I cannot do anything about.. The train didn’t come..” Crying while standing at the gate, Tsubaki says, “..Tsubaki-kun, it..it is still better for me to leave you..” Kyouta looks surprised as he hears some inaudible sound before the phone is hanged up. Crying Tsubaki then runs off. Kyouta has totally forgotten that he is in the middle of a busy street. He looks puzzled at his cellphone. It is too late when he notices that a car is driving in front of him. Black page. Tsubaki writes him an email, “Thank you for wanting to accompany me today but I won’t be going anymore, I’m sorry! I’m going home first.” She sends the message. Still crying, Tsubaki’s hands are shaking while holding the cellphone. She thinks that she doesn’t know how to face Kyouta. As she passes by, she didn’t notice the ruckus at the other street where there are a lot of people looking over an accident. The car seems to try to swerve away but the people are pointing at someone/thing at the side of the car. At the side of the sidewalk is a slightly damaged cellphone. It is ringing because it has a new message from Tsubaki.
Tsubaki really has some major issues and I fear that this girl might commit suicide or something if she learns that she has indirectly caused Kyouta’s accident even if it is partly his fault for jaywalking and talking on the cellphone at the same time. Somehow my gut feel is that Nako deliberately told those things to Tsubaki for her to go on a guilt trip. I think that lost opportunity is a small thing for Kyouta because with his brains and expertise on space, etc, he can easily get the professor’s approval/recommendation. Heck, he can probably get in whatever university he wants. I guess Kyouta was right about Tsubaki’s fixation with a recommendation. ^^; So, once again, Tsubaki feels she isn’t worthy of him especially since he is doing something unselfishly for her. Somehow, I feel that the author is teasing the readers who want to have a love rival for Kyouta. I’m imagining she is thinking, ‘Want a love rival? Well, that isn’t going to happen if Kyouta is around so let’s make him disappear for a while’. ^^; A lot of people are saying about the possibility of Kyouta having the typical amnesia and start going with Nako. I actually thought something worst than that..like Kyouta can no longer pursue his dream because of the accident. ^^; Whichever it is, it still doesn’t bode well for Tsubaki who is already having a guilt trip over something repairable. And, as I thought, Tsubaki is really trying to hard to be the ‘perfect daughter and girlfriend’ that she is not doing what she really wants and putting herself in a status of ‘I’m not worthy of you’. I guess Tsubaki is the type of person who would feel guilty if someone is acting really nice to her and also guilty if she isn’t super nice to someone. Once again, I hope she gets some self-confidence soon or else, she is going into a spiral down of despair. The next chapter will be out in Japan around Jan 6th. Scans by Amyangel19910323 for BW

I think this is this month’s Lala cover. It is posted on baidu. Yuuki looks really nice there. I didn’t find any raws yet but maybe some of you are better in that. ^_^
Meanwhile, this is Nanaji Nozomu’s new series. I don’t know the title since it is in Japanese ^^; [Edit: According to alwyzme and am-am, the title is Sempai/Senpai.] I babelfished the synopsis and it seems to be a not typical protagonist. ‘This is your story’. It looks nice as in kind of like nostalgic type of school romance. Hehe, well, bicycles usually have that effect. Not sure if it is suppose to be a sad one since there is ‘crying’ in the synopsis. It seems that this time, the male lead is a black haired guy. It seems that they are in junior high. I wonder if it is another from junior high to high school type of series. This will be out in Margaret’s Jan 6 issue.
Chitose, Etc [Chapters 20-22]
Monday, December 20, 2010
Saaya tells Chitose that both guys have fallen for her and this is natural outcome because they are always together and on contrary, it would be unnatural if they didn’t. Chitose asks what about her. Saaya admits that she has fallen for Yuki. “Because Yuki, no matter what[/when], is very kind.” Flashback: Flustered young Saaya complained to the two boys that she still needs to have the surgery. She is very afraid since the success rate is 20%. Yuki smiled and assured her that if the medicine has been used, the success rate will become 70%. Saaya whined that it isn’t high enough for three out of ten people can die. Misaki exclaimed for her not to say that because if they didn’t have the surgery, the chances of them dying is 100%. “So, let us all do our best!” Yuki smiled and assured Saaya that there will be no problem at all. Misaki is the type who’ll encourage by admonishing her while Yuki encourages by smiling. Yuki smiled and reassured her that the surgeon is a famous doctor and Dr. Kitsukawa will also be there during the surgery so it will definitely succeed. Saaya thought that Yuki ought to be also be uneasy but he doesn’t show it and he is always only smiles while staying by her side. Yuki’s kindness is a huge comfort for her that she unconsciously has fallen for him. One night, while Yuki is reading in his room, Saaya went to visit him. Yuki asked what it is for it is late and there is also the curfew. Saaya gestured for him to be quiet. She then told him, “I like you, Yuki, I want to go steady with you.” Yuki blushed in surprise over this. He also admitted that he likes her but Misaki also likes her. Saaya said that she knows and she also really treasures Misaki that she doesn’t want to hurt him so they should keep this a secret. Yuki looked surprised. While leaning towards him, Saaya kissed him and told him to ‘please’ [keep it a secret]. End flashback. Present Saaya says that perhaps during those times, she’s quite fidgety because there is a possibility that they won’t become adults so they would want to experience romantic love. “Like that, we betrayed Misaki and ruined our [three of us] world.. At one side, it is the same as before wherein we, three pass the time together, and on the other side, I and Yuki hide from Misaki to create our own ‘getting along’ time. We would secretly kiss in the hospital library. We would take advantage of the loophole during the nurses’ scheduled rounds and meet in the room at midnight. Later on, it is finally the day of the surgery--”
Flashback: In the room, Saaya and Yuki held hands while sitting on the bed. Yuki said that it is finally here. Since Saaya didn’t reply, Yuki said that it will be alright for he heard that high school student’s surgery was a success so Misaki’s surgery will definitely be a success, too. Saaya said ya. They looked at each other then blushed. They kissed then noticed that someone is looking at them. They look at the side to see stunned Misaki. Misaki blushed then exclaimed his apology [for intruding]. He quickly ran away even if they called out to him. So, the worst case scenario happened. It turned out that before his surgery, Misaki managed to get some time to see them. Even if they quickly went out to chase after him, it is already too late for he was already wheeled in the operating room. Afterwards, he didn’t come out again. End flashback. Crying Saaya tells teary-eyed Chitose that they obviously wanted to apologize to Misaki but until the end, they weren’t able to say that sentence of ‘I’m sorry’. Much later on, Saaya and Yuki’s surgery had been successful. The day when Yuki is about to be released from the hospital, Yuki cried-- feeling guilty = guilt of betraying Misaki, because he died while Yuki lived, and guilt of feeling happy that he was saved. Chitose protests that it cannot be helped for it isn’t wrong to be happy that one is saved. Saaya agreed with her and from logic’s side, it is true but actually, Chitose hasn’t encountered that situation wherein one’s important person had died yet one is happy that one has lived on. “That feeling, that ‘taking the blame’ kind of feeling that one cannot say out, and it is to no avail no matter how one consoles oneself about it rationally. *looks at Chitose* You have not gone through this kind of feeling, right? *Chitose looks flustered* I totally understand Yuki’s feelings. We would embrace each other and cried painfully together. Afterwards, we decided that the two of us will do our best in living on with Misaki’s part. Yuki told me that ‘I will protect Saaya throughout my life, because Saaya is also the girl that Misaki liked.’” Chitose looks slightly flustered. After they were released from the hospital, they went to their respective hometowns to live. Even if they meet each other only twice or thrice a month, things still went on smoothly because their bonds are quite firm. But, when second year junior high is about to end, there is a gradual change. Saaya smiles and says that they noticed that they aren’t compatible. Chitose looks surprised over this. Saaya says that their love was born because of a special circumstance. When their illnesses were cured, being in the same situation as the people surrounding them, they realized that they were attracted to each other when basically, they aren’t each other’s type. Even if she obviously was attracted to Yuki’s kindness but she felt as if he is lacking something..she thinks she’s quite selfish. “But we cannot break up, because we have a promise, since we’ve hurt Misaki and actually, this relationship cannot be easily destroyed. Of course, we don’t hate each other, so even if we felt that we weren’t compatible, we continued on going steady with each other.”
Flashback: While in a restaurant and drinking something with Saaya, Yuki got a call on his cellphone. He turned down the person whom he is talking with by saying that he cannot go on that day and sorry. After he hanged up, Saaya asked who it was. He said that it is a girl from his class. Saaya asked if he has been asked on a date. Yuki admitted that it is true and he already told that girl he has a girlfriend yet she won’t give up. Saaya looked thoughtful. Then, to his surprise, Saaya suggested that they try out dating other people because they’ve always limit themselves to each other and they are pretty much at their limit. She told him that perhaps it is also good for them to have fun with other people for a change of pace [/mood] but they should tell the other first of having a lover already. “In order for us to last long, it is necessary that we sometimes have a break from each other. I will also try it out with this sempai who always invites me on a date.” After a pause, Yuki tried to protest that even if she said that but.. Saaya smiled and urged him to go and try it. Yuki asked about kissing. Saaya said that it is probably okay up to that degree then, she’ll also go kissing [with other guys]. End flashback. Saaya happily tells Chitose that it is a very clear agreement and it makes them look again for that ‘fresh feeling’ towards each other. Going out with others, they would recognize again each other’s strengths and at the end, it is very important for them to be with the ones whom they are most comfortable with. Thus, they can once again become very good lovers. Saaya sadly says that later on, she realized that there will be a time when they would encounter that one whom they will feel a bit of guilt for playing around with. ”The one whom one truly likes.” Chitose blushes when Saaya says that for Yuki, it is Chitose. Chitose goes into shock when Saaya admits that for her, it is Shun. Saaya continues to say that she gave up on Shun because Yuki is more important for her and she absolutely cannot leave him. “Even if it isn’t romantic love anymore, but I love him. We commonly share a lot of painful and shameful memories. Compared to anyone else, we understand each other really well. If I don’t have Yuki, I won’t be able to live on. Ah, Chitose, why do you like Yuki? If it’s a good looking and kind-hearted Tokyo guy, even if it isn’t Yuki, you can like that person right? But for me, if it isn’t Yuki, it won’t do at all! Even if I withdraw now, my and Yuki’s bonds will still won’t change. Chitose, can you bear a girl who knows more and mutually understand your boyfriend? *teary-eyed* I beg of you, please don’t steal Yuki away..!” Chitose looks flustered shock.
Later on, Saaya’s ex-tutor drives Chitose back home. Chitose is surprised when the ex-tutor asked if she was bullied by Saaya. Chitose tells him no, it isn’t that. The ex-tutor asks if it is so because she looks depressed. He tells her that even if Saaya is strong[-willed] but she is naturally good so get along with her well. Chitose just says yes. Soon, Chitose thanks the ex-tutor for driving her. After the ex-tutor drove away, she is surprised to hear Yuki calling out to her from behind. Yuki tells her that Saaya called him to say that she called her [Chitose] to her house and told her [Chitose] everything. “She said that, ‘Chitose is very fair and reasonable’..” Yuki looks surprised upon seeing Chitose looking flustered and quiet. Chitose tells him that in the end, she couldn’t take him away from Saaya. Yuki shouts his name but Chitose shouts back, “Because! Because Saaya cannot lose you no matter what, and compared to Saaya, my love is too superficial.. that it cannot be talked about in equal terms. (Five years together, with the same painful experience.) I don’t have the confidence to exceed the bonds between you and Saaya..! (I cannot exceed!)” Yuki shouts that it doesn’t matter whether she can exceed it or not, this has nothing to do with the past. “Saaya..is a very important existence, but the one I like right now is you, Chitose!” Chitose looks flustered and teary-eyed. She thanks him. “I’m very, very happy..but, it is enough to have you say that. I’m already very satisfied. Please be like before and..return to Saaya’s side--” Yuki hugs her tight and shouts, “I don’t want to! No! I won’t give up!” Chitose thinks that she also really likes Yuki but-- Chitose pushes him away and exclaims that they can’t. Crying, Chitose exclaims, “I’m sorry..!” before running off. Yuki can only call to her to no avail. Yuki looks a bit flustered and helpless. In her bedroom, Chitose sadly thinks that the one whom is fated to be with Yuki is still Saaya and not her. She tells herself that it is enough that he likes her and to have some of these memories [with him]. “I can depend on these and just bear with it. I should..let go.” Chitose then breaks down and cries again.
Later on, Chitose happily looks at three boxes filled with lots of food. Chitose says that it’s a lot and if it is what’s called as ‘Osechi ryori’ [= traditional Japanese New Year foods. Osechi are easily recognizable by their special boxes called jubako, which resemble bento boxes. Source: wiki]. Chitose says that it looks beautiful, exquisite, and luxurious that it seems to be a waste to eat it. Holding a small covered bowl, Tadashi says that there is also this, zoni soup [Japanese soup containing mochi rice cakes. Source: wiki. Ah, the Chinese translation is braised mochi but since that soup is eaten during New Year, so I edited it.] Tadashi says that he tried making it even if it was Chitose who bought it. Chitose opens the cover and says that it is fragrant and looks really delicious. She exclaims that it’s great to have New Year ingredients in the soup. She happily says, “Itadakimasu! Ah, it’s really delicious-” Tadashi smiles while watching her eat. He says that it’s good that she is finally smiling again. He expresses his concern for her since she has been looking very gloomy at the end of the year. Chitose apologizes for that and assures her brother that she is alright for it is already New Year and it is no use even if she’s depressed. She happily exclaims that everything will go up. [<- I think like when one is down, there is nowhere to go but up.] Tadashi happily says that they should go to the hatsumode [first shrine visit of the New Year in Japan. Source: wiki] later on and there is a very huge and spectacular shrine nearby. Chitose happily agrees. Just then, her cellphone rings. Chitose answers it and it is Shun. She happily greets him a Happy New Year and says that it has been a long time. Shun says yes and asks her if she is in Tokyo or in Okinawa. Chitose says that she’s in Tokyo because her brother is very busy at work that is why they weren’t able to go back to their hometown. Shun tells her to occasionally call or email him even if he also didn’t call nor email her. Chitose apologizes to him and admits that she actually has forgotten about his existence. Shun exclaims in shock over this and asks what kind of joke is that for weren’t things going well for them during the Christmas party. Chitose sweatdrops and apologizes again. She tells him that is true but then, something else related to that happened. “Regarding that thing, I want to see you and properly talk.” Shun looks surprised. Shun asks if they can go to the hatsumode today. Chitose suggests to him about the shrine that is near her house. After hanging up, Chitose apologizes to her brother for she is going to the hatsumode with Shun. She asks if he wants to go with them. Smiling Tadashi says no for he would just be a hindrance, the two of them should go. Tadashi then has an idea and tells her that if she is going with her boyfriend, then--
Later on, Shun is pleasantly surprised to see Chitose wearing a kimono. Shun exclaims that he didn’t expect her to wear a kimono and it really looks nice. Chitose giggles and says that her brother made her wear it. She explains that there is a character in her brother’s work who wears a kimono so he wanted to know how a kimono is worn. “This kimono is used for classical [/literature] kimono research ♡” Blushing a bit and covering his face, Shun says, “..Kaneshiro, I..have this very small dream of stripping a girl of her kimono, can I?” Blushing really red, Chitose exclaims, “You rotten..!!” At the shrine, Chitose prays that everyone will be healthy and happy this new year. Shun asks if she wants to get some fortunes. Chitose says okay. Chitose gets ‘small blessing’[/slightly good luck] while Shun gets ‘near blessing’ [/uncertain luck] which Shun finds quite vague. He then asks her what is it that she wanted to tell him. Chitose looks serious. As they tie their fortunes, Chitose asks if the person Shun said that he couldn’t forget is Saaya. Looking surprised, Shun asks if Saaya told her. Chitose sadly says yes and earlier, Saaya went to see her and told her about her history with Yuki from the time they met up to the present. Chitose says that Saaya told her the reason for seeing her and her [Chitose’s] story starts when she with Yuki was on their way home from the Christmas party. After Chitose told him everything, Shun says that for Saaya to even drag out the thing during their elementary years can really agitate anyone but because there is a deceased friend involved, it can cause a special kind of stubbornness. Chitose is just quiet. Shun says, “—so in brief, even if Yuki confessed to you, you’ve already rejected him, so in the end, it is still the same as before.” Chitose is puzzled. Shun says that he is saying that no matter if it’s Yuki and Saaya or if it’s Chitose and him, it is still the same as before. Chitose sweatdrops and asks if that is so, for isn’t it over with them. Shun asks why. Flustered Chitose says that it is because she still likes Yuki even if she has given up on him. Frowning, Shun asks that wasn’t she like that from the beginning and in order to give up on Yuki, she has gone steady with him. Chitose sweatdrops again and says that even if it is like that but..she obviously went steady with him yet she answered ‘yes’ to Yuki so she should no longer have any right to be Shun’s girlfriend anymore. Shun tells her that is alright, he forgives her. Chitose says, but she also knows about the thing between Shun and Saaya. Shun exclaims that is already over. Pointing at her, Shun exclaims, “It’s the same as before, you are still my girlfriend! Understand?!” Chitose looks surprise and still want to protest when she notices that Shun looks surprised. She looks at the direction where Shun is looking. It is Yuki with his sister, Yuka. Yuka happily greets Chitose and Shun. Shun and Chitose just look at her and slightly flustered Yuki.
Oblivious of the issue between the three, Yuka happily exclaims that Chitose’s kimono is so cute and it suits her. Chitose thanks her. Chitose and Yuki look at each other and somewhat blushes. To everyone’s surprise, Shun suddenly puts his arm around Chitose and pulls her to him. Leading Chitose away, Shun tells the two siblings that they already visited the shrine so they are going ahead. A bit surprised, Yuka just wave and bid them goodbye. After they left, Yuka happily says that Chitose looks really cute in the kimono. While wondering if Chitose specially wore a kimono for Shun, Yuki agrees that she’s really cute. Noticing the look on his face while looking towards where the couple left, Yuka asks him what the matter is. Yuki looks surprised. Yuka says that it is quite mystifying for Shun to still blatantly show ‘she is mine’ after all that has happened up to now. “Did something happen?” Pausing a bit, Yuki sadly smiles and says nothing happened. Yuka doesn’t look convinced. On the way down from the shrine, Chitose tries to tell Shun that it is very embarrassing so please take off his.. Chitose then notices that Shun has a glum look that she realizes that he isn’t going to listen to her. Shun asks her if she can make everything the same as it was before and if there won’t be any trouble doing so. Chitose sweatdrops and says that there is no problem but then, is this the right thing to do. Shun tells her that without his help, can she still continue to refuse Yuki. Chitose looks shock as she realizes that what Shun said is true. “If Yuki continues to force me, I might feel very happy again that I could not refuse him. If that is so, then I would once again hurt Saaya..! If I have Akaishi-kun to be my shield [/excuse] then..” Chitose then exclaims that she’ll be under his care. Shun says she answered well. In front of Chitose’s house, Chitose bids Shun goodbye and says that she’ll email him. Shun looks serious. He then reminds Chitose that this time around, it is Chitose who rejected Yuki and it isn’t ‘there is no other way and I was rejected by Yuki’. “And it is your own initiative to decide and give [Yuki] to Saaya. So, you have to be more serious in doing your best to thoroughly give him up.” Chitose looks flustered and says, yes. Shun pinches her cheek and tells her to quickly be infatuated with him. “Yuki can also accept this and you can also be at ease.” Chitose says that she knows and she will do her best. Shun quietly thinks that Chitose [/her cheek] seems like mochi and he would want to eat some when he gets home. Shun bids her goodbye and left. Looking at him as he left, Chitose thinks that towards Shun, it is only a kind of like.. “I would want to like Akaishi-kun more than Yuki-kun, but what is the best thing for me to do..”
Later on, as Yuki and his sister are leaving the shrine, Yuki gets an email from Saaya who asked him if he can go to her house for them to hang out. There is no reaction on Yuki’s face. Soon, Yuki and Saaya are watching a DVD movie. Saaya says that movie is one of a kind and it isn’t easy to borrow it. Yuki says yes and is there any other she wants to watch, like the one she mentioned before which he seems to a tape of.. He is surprise when Saaya clings on to him and tries to kiss him. Yuki looks away and tells surprised Saaya that he can’t. “I cannot do that kind of thing with you again. ..I won’t.” Flustered Saaya asks if it is because he likes Chitose. Yuki admits that it is true. Saaya exclaims that Chitose has already withdrawn. Yuki firmly tells her that they already cannot become lovers anymore and she ought to already know this, too. “Since a long time ago, what is left between us is already just the feeling of what one has with one’s family. There is no longer any feeling between a boy and a girl. Even if we deliberately kissed and had H [/sex], in the end, it won’t work at all. It is too unnatural. We should choose other romantic partners. *Saaya looks flustered* Even if we’re not lovers, you are still very precious to me and for me, you are someone whose existence is irreplaceable. As good friends, I’ll forever be your support--” Teary-eyed Saaya defiantly says no, it is only this breaking up which she doesn’t agree to. “Misaki won’t allow us to break up.” Yuki looks stunned over this. Saaya cries that it is okay if they don’t do anything, it is fine if he just stays by her side. “Please do not go to someone else’s side. Without you, I cannot..” Saaya starts sobbing with her hands covering her face. Yuki ends up holding her head to him to comfort her. At school, while eating lunch together with Shun, Chitose looks a bit worried and tells Shun that today is the start of their club activity. Shun says yes. Chitose feels her heart is heavy for she doesn’t know how to face both Yuki and Saaya. She thinks that it will definitely be awkward and also, what of Shun..
At the club, Midoriko happily says that on February, it is Valentines’ Day, then on March, it is Graduation then on April, there will be new students. Midoriko says that even if it isn’t as grand as the school festival or the Christmas party but the schedule is quite tight so they should drum up some enthusiasm for this. Everyone [Chitose not shown] holds up their hand/arm and exclaims ya [though Shun look bored]. Someone asks what they will do on Valentine’s Day because before it is always holding an event. Someone says that they should look at the data file and see what was done last year. Another one says that it is recorded in a DVD so they should watch it again. Chitose looks surprise and nervous for everyone is acting really normal and they are so mature. She thinks that this is okay to just blend in else it would be too troublesome for Midoriko and Kanata. “I should also show that everything’s normal.” Chitose screams in shock when Saaya calls out to her and asks her to be the first to check on the last five year’s data. Chitose gloomily thinks that it is really hard to act normal. Chitose looks a bit flustered when Saaya smiles at her. Looking at Saaya and Yuki talking to each other while Saaya is holding some cds, Chitose thinks that the two has probably reconciled and Yuki hasn’t talked to her about anything since then. “This will be fine, althought..there is still some pain. It’s alright, I still have Akaishi-kun. I definitely, can forget..” Chitose didn’t know but Midoriko has noticed. For Midoriko, Chitose’s actions are very obvious and suspicious. Chitose looks aghast as she clumsy drop all of the contents from the envelope. Midoriko thinks that those other three, even if they pretend to be calm and quiet, but the mood is faintly tense. “Something definitely happened between them but forget it, it doesn’t matter as long as it doesn’t affect the club activity.” On the other side, Kanata has also vaguely noticed it. A note says that Kanata is unexpectedly the type who has this wild intuition of feeling the mood of the situation/people. Later on, Shun is walking at the hallway when he notices that Yuki is waiting for him by his classroom. Yuki tells Shun that he wants to talk to him so can they after school. Shun says it’s okay, even if it’s right now. While the teacher is lecturing, Chitose looks at the empty seat beside her. She thinks that Shun is there a while ago so what could have happened to him.
Regarding the past, it is pretty much what I expected it to be and it is quite hard to be reasonable with a very emotional and stubborn girl. How do you solve a problem like Saaya? It’s one thing for her to have a strong personality but she comes out as manipulative for me. I think aside from that childhood promise and being guilty over Misaki, a part of why Saaya doesn’t want to let Yuki go is because she stands to lose everything. She already lost Shun and she probably couldn’t stand to lose Yuki, too. Ironically, it is mostly her fault. She is the one who suggested to Yuki to ‘go steady’ behind Misaki’s back and it is she who suggested that they date other people. So now, she, together with Yuki, ended up hurting Misaki then, she also hurt Shun and she stands to lose Yuki to Chitose. I’m also wondering if Saaya is using her acting skills on both Yuki and Chitose. They can easily be taken advantage of because they are so nice. When Saaya is talking with Chitose, she can go from sad, smiling to tearful drama. Both Chitose and Yuki are weak when it comes to Saaya crying. Fortunately, Shun is somewhat immune to that when she did that drama to him. It seems that Saaya has no qualms on doing some emotional blackmail on Yuki when she brought up about Misaki would want them to be ‘together forever’. She might be thinking ‘let’s be miserable together since I won’t be able to get the guy I really like’. ^^; So, Saaya might have that advantage of being manipulative but of course, that is also a disadvantage because it can be a turn-off for these two guys especially Shun. Based on Shun’s past, I think he would easily choose Chitose over Saaya because Chitose is less of a headache. I’m beginning to like the idea of Shun x Chitose but I still do not have the feeling that Shun really likes Chitose seriously and he isn’t only just after Chitose just to have sex with her. ^^; At least, Chitose can somehow get Shun at bay and not make him force her into something that she doesn’t want. Of course, if Shun is wise enough, he really shouldn’t let go of Chitose because she is pretty much a better girl than the ones he has encountered before. I can understand Chitose’s hesitation with Shun. It does seem unfair for him when she still likes Yuki but it seems that Shun is determined to win her. Ah..things would be easier for Chitose if she can just really fall for Shun. Hopefully, Shun won’t be like Saaya in case Chitose wants out of the relationship. ^^; I’m wondering what if Yuki is finally free of Saaya, would they now have a hard time in ‘leaving Shun’? Now, the problem with Yuki is he is too nice. I think Saaya finds him boring since she mentioned that something is lacking about him. Yuki does seem to always do whatever Saaya wants. He seems like a pushover who has no real will of his own. It seems that because of Chitose, he is now learning to say no and starting to feel that it is unbearable for him to just standing there doing nothing as some other guy takes away the girl that he likes. After everything, I still think that Chitose will end up with Yuki because of their pictures together. It is just like in other series like Strobe Edge or Mishounen Produce so I also restrain from rooting for Chitose x Shun else I’ll be disappointed later on. It’s good that the author doesn’t drag on Chitose’s depression and of course, there is Shun around so she isn’t that pitiful. Somehow, I’m imagining that in the next chapter, the two guys are going to punch each other over Chitose. ^^; They aren’t really best friends or anything so there’s nothing to be shy/polite about. Lol, I’m actually getting myself excited over an impending dogfight. Well, even if they pretend nothing has happened, something did and I think it won’t be long before something major happens. Scans by 草莓defer for iieye.

To live life is to live in the present moment. The key to healing the past and having a hopeful future lies to what you will decide to do NOW. Now is the only thing we really got. Free Talk: SB! 168 Teaser 2 and Gintama 336
Sunday, December 19, 2010
azuki582 and PSDOL posted the Skip Beat! 168 raws in baidu. Hehe, finally Ren has a weak point = bad in cooking. He really did seem to learn cooking from his mother and the huge portion is probably because he cooked for his father before. =P Let's just wait for the scanlations for full appreciation of the chapter. ^^
Gintama 336 is hilarious. They had a drinking party and when Gin wakes up..to his horror, he is naked and with Otose. Lol..they puked and try to pretend nothing happened. Unfortunately for Gin, he doesn’t remember anything but he wants to verify that nothing happened. He ends up learning that he also did something to Otae by taking her purity, Kyubei whom he made into a woman and owes[?]/redeems Tsukuyo with two hundred million. Lesson: Don’t drink too much else you might do something that you won’t remember yet you’ll probably regret =P
Free Talk: Skip Beat! 168 Teaser + More on Aohal Ride
Saturday, December 18, 2010
Skip beat! 168 is out in baidu. Wow, such a lengthy teaser this time. The Chinese translation used an online translator and that isn’t too accurate but basically, it seems that Kyouko went to Ren’s place to cook for him. It seems to be omrice and some sort of struggle -> huge omrice which shocks Kyouko? I think Ren cooked it and someone in baidu mentioned that Ren must have learned cooking from his mother. =P I don’t know what Ren is supposedly nervous about at the end when Kyouko said that she isn’t suitable for that thing but it seems that he.. I’m thinking along the lines of Kyouko realizing how Ren feels for her? I’m not sure maybe FH forum has a better summary. Hopefully with the scans, it is more fun to read. ^^
About Sakisaka Io’s new series, the title is AOHAL RIDE (read as Aoha Raido) based on filion’s intro scan which is her sig in BW. I can only read the stats. The male lead is Kou Mabuchi, first year, 176 cm, 58kg, blood type O. The female lead is Futaba Yoshioka, first year, 160 cm, 50kg, blood type A. Unfortunately, I cannot read Japanese to read the blurb. Maybe some Japanese literate people can help. ^^ [Edit: Thanks to am-am, it says "The two meet again. That pale light, glance...what was that...?"] Is it just me or there is just a lot of promo for this series? Amyangel19910323’s sig is also from this series. Well, the publishers are succeeding in making me interested since if they promote it this much, it must be good, right? I think that a mangaka’s new series tend to better than his/her series especially if that old one ended abruptly. ^^;
Free Talk: News on Nana + Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu [Chapter 77] Teaser
Friday, December 17, 2010
kofismylife from BW mentioned that in Cookie, there is a Nana Christmas card ‘Wishing you and your loved ones all the wonder and magic of Christmas’. Ai Yazawa also has a short message. According to kofimylife, it said that it is still not determined when the series will resume and she is currently doing her best to recover. So, basically it is like ‘I’m still alive and readers, continue on waiting’ =P Hm..I think that snowman is Yazu since Nana is holding drummer sticks.
Har..har..just saw Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu 77 in BW and let me just say that is it totally unexpected and when you read the proper summary when the Chinese scanlation is out, prepare your hearts for something like ‘Ugh..no way’ kind of expression. Warning: It can ruin the Christmas mood. For those who cannot wait, Tsubaki is reading on some books about possible courses, I think, in a bookstore and had a talk with Kyouta. During cram school, Nako mentioned something about the lecture regarding the professor that Kyouta missed and Tsubaki seems to have gone into a major guilt trip. Later on, Kyouta is rushing to probably where Tsubaki is at a certain university. Tsubaki tearfully calls and said something just when Kyouta tries to cross the street <- jaywalking. Kyouta is distracted and guess who got hit by the car now while the cellphone is safe and sound as it rings of a message that Tsubaki just sent? And so, crying Tsubaki passes by the other street unmindful of the people at the next block who were fussing over the accident. And what..we have to wait until January to know if Kyouta is alright or not.
Bokutachi wa Shitte Shimatta [Chapters 42-43]
Thursday, December 16, 2010
While walking home after work, Kotori tries to break the ice by saying that it has been a long time since they walked together like this. Yukito agrees with her. Kotori says that she feels a bit nervous. Yukito agrees with her again. Kotori looks at him and thinks that the day after tomorrow will be their birthday so would they be able to see each other. “I really want to celebrate it with him.. Yukito shouldn’t have forgotten about the birthday, right?” Yukito asks her what it is. Kotori says that it will soon be coming. When Yukito asked what it is, Kotori says that it will be the 27th soon. Yukito says ya, the 27th. Kotori looks at him with anticipation but she wonders why he hasn’t invited her and it seems as if he is in deep thought. Kotori begins to wonder if Yukito has forgotten all about it. Kotori quickly asks him if there is anything that he would want to have. She tells him that it would be a bit difficult if it is expensive but she would want to know what he wants. Yukito says that it doesn’t matter what it is because for him, it is the thought that counts. Kotori tries to protest but Yukito smiles and says that for them to reconcile, that is already enough for him. Kotori is touched by this. She then thinks that Yukito ought to know that it is their birthday on the 27th. She really wants to tell him that they should spend that day together but she wants Yukito to be the one to ask. She becomes gloomy since Yukito really looks as if he isn’t going to invite her. Kotori finally asks him if there is no way for them to meet on the 27th. A bit flustered, Yukito says no, they cannot but only.. Kotori looks at him and thinks, “but only..” Yukito apologizes and says that he has something to do on that day and he isn’t sure what time they can meet. “I will contact you. Can you wait for my call?” A bit tense, Kotori smiles and says is that so, he has something to do then it cannot be helped. Kotori tries not to show her disappointment since they just reconciled and it will be very awkward. Kotori somewhat looks down that Yukito calls her name. Mustering her acting skills, Kotori looks up and smiles to tell him it is okay, she’ll wait for his call.
At home, Kotori is sulking over this shock. Holding her pillow tight, Kotori wonders if Yukito is the type who doesn’t care about birthdays. She thinks that it isn’t like they totally aren’t going to see each other but with that restrained look on Yukito, even if they see each other, she cannot really have fun and enjoy herself. She laughs it off and says that it is good since she doesn’t have money anyway. She used up part of her money for that yukata during the festival and a new Doki Memo 3 game will be released on autumn. She then laments that she doesn’t know what to do and she doesn’t even know if they will see each other or not. She begins to think that she should have told Yukito that she wanted to spend their birthdays together. On the 27th of August, at some building, Yukito holds his driving license. He happily smiles and looks really pleased with himself. After looking it from various directions, he calls sleepy Abe and tells him that he got it on first try. Abe sits up and asks what he is saying. Yukito tells him that he has succeeded. Abe asks if he and Kotori have finally had that summer experience and took a huge step into adult stage..congrats. Yukito just happily tells him to be happy for him since he succeeded. Abe tells him that Yukito is already happy [so no need for him to do that] and he had played a game overnight so he’s dead tired and he’ll just listen to Yukito next time. Abe tries to bid him goodbye and good night but Yukito insists for Abe not to hang up since Abe would nag and grill him non-stop the next time they would talk and it would be quite troublesome [<- like passing through hardships. The word used is an idiom.]
At home, Kotori is really bored as she plays her Doki Memo game. She muses that she has played Hikaru for many times this past weeks already so maybe she should play someone else. She sighs and thinks that Yukito hasn’t contacted her and he’s probably at work. She thinks that it is really something that makes one sigh. She is surprised when someone says that she has already kept on sighing so many times and it is better for her to be thankful of things. A long haired guy holds her face and says, “Being depressed doesn’t suit you, lady.” Kotori exclaims that it is ‘Ashani*’. [*安莎妮 - an∙sha∙ni in Chinese and I cannot think of a name near that pronunciation. ^^; If you have a better name, tell me. He is a character in the game but I cannot quite read what his role except he is in charge of something like a title. He’s probably a rich kid-brotherly type of character.] Ashani asks if Kotori has always been thinking of herself from the start that is why she is sighing. Kotori sighs and tries to say that it is because.. Ashani stops her by lightly touching her nose and tells her that she’s sighing again. Ashani tells her not to only think of depressing things but of happier things. Kotori thinks that she and Yukito held hands, spent the summer festival together, saw Yukito’s smiling face, both of them laughing together, they reconciled and he told her that he likes her. Ashani asks if she has thought of a lot of things. “If the happier things that you thought of are a lot more than the sad things, then, things will be alright. It will definitely be alright..” Kotori is touched by what he said. Kotori looks at her DS wherein the screen has Ashani saying that it will be alright. Kotori thinks that before she isn’t good with this type of guy so she doesn’t play much of Ashani but it’s not bad at all. She decides to stop running away but right, Yukito ought to have things he had to do and it hasn’t ended yet. Looking determined, Kotori thinks that she will be happier when she thinks of their meeting. Suddenly her cellphone rings. She wonders if it is Yukito.
At the restaurant, with some drinks served, Kotori looks at Yukito’s license. Kotori is somewhat embarrassed as he pulls his hair bangs. Kotori looks a bit puzzled over it so Yukito explains that he got it today and no matter what, he wanted to get it on his birthday. “Even if it isn’t exactly a birthday gift, but my first priority is to drive with you so I went to test for..” Kotori remembers overhearing her co-workers talking before about Yukito having another job because he wanted to buy a motorcycle to ride with the person he likes. Yukito then points out to Kotori the motorcycle he rode to get there, though he borrowed it from his brother since his money is not yet enough to buy one. He tells her that even if he practiced a lot, he still won’t dare go to a far place but he would want to ride it with her. Blushing Kotori says, is that so and if that is how it is, he should have told her first about it because she thought that he doesn’t like celebrating birthdays. Yukito says that is because he would be embarrassed if he failed to get his license and if he passed, he could also surprise her about it. “You could say that it is pride, but I’m sorry..” Kotori lovingly smiles at him and says, “No, I’m very happy..thank you..” Yukito stands up and says that they should go. Even if they can only go to some place near but she can decide where she wants to go. Kotori tells him to wait for she wants to make some bento before going. She tells him that is the gift that she wants to give him though it isn’t exactly a gift and it would use up a lot of time but still, she wants to also do something for him. Yukito blushes and looks away. He then asks, “Then..how about going to my house?” Kotori looks surprised. Yukito asks again about going to his house to make the bento. “My brother went to prep school, and my parents usually come home late..” When Kotori is wondering if Yukito meant ‘that’, Yukito blushes and quickly exclaims that there is no different meaning to that. He explains that his house is nearer and there is a supermarket nearby, too. Flustered Yukito mutters that it seems that the more he explains, the more it gets worse. Yukito asks Kotori what she thinks. Kotori agrees to go.
Inside the house, Kotori politely exclaims, ‘I’m intruding’. She then comments that there is really no one home. The two slightly blushing Kaji-s look at each other then Kotori smiles and says that she’ll be using the kitchen. Yukito is puzzled when Kotori looks at him again. Kotori tensely thinks that this time, she shouldn’t fail. She decides to cook some rice first. She asks him where the rice cooker is. Yukito pulls it out of the sliding cabinet and says that it is here. While he is teaching her how to operate it, his eyes wander at Kotori’s neck that has the bird necklace then he sees part of her cleavage. Yukito immediately blushes then looks away. He thinks that it is bad for he thought of that time before when she was sick [<-sees part of the cleavage]. He wonders why Kotori is wearing the same type of clothes. Kotori is puzzled by his reaction that she calls out to him. Yukito asks her if there is something else she needs help in. Kotori says no, for this is a gift for him so he should just sit and wait. Yukito says is that so. Yukito sits down and looks at Kotori working in the kitchen. He closes his eyes then looks again. Kotori decides to make some easy to make food like fish floss [/dried fish powder] rice, tamagoyaki [fried egg] and Vienna sausages so that she won’t fail and she doesn’t have much time either. She feels extra nervous doing this. Meanwhile, while sitting on the sofa, Yukito looks at Kotori’s exposed back, bare neck and legs. He then looks at her face. He looks away then looks back at her. He thinks that he really cannot keep himself calm. Soon, he is standing up and approaches her. Just when he is about to hold/touch her, Kotori turns around. Yukito freezes and can only say, “Ah..” Kotori exclaims that he startled her and was he always standing there. Yukito gloomily says he wasn’t and he is just a bit worried. Kotori asks him if he is afraid of her failing in this. Blushing Yukito just says that he has that kind of feeling a bit. Kotori assures him that there is no need for him to look and he should just be good and just wait for it. Holding a clench fist, Yukito looks determined and says, ya. Then, he asks her if she really doesn’t need his help..no matter what it is. Kotori wonders if he really likes to help. He is surprised when Kotori asks him to please not to look at her, he can help but do not look at her. Yukito becomes gloomy-aghast over this. Kotori blushes and explains that it makes her feel embarrassed and just thinking that Yukito is always looking at her makes her feel nervous. Somewhat happy, Yukito says, okay..is that so. Kotori then exclaims that the pot is boiling over. Yukito shouts for her not to touch it but Kotori already did and she exclaims in pain. Yukito quickly pulls her away by hugging her from behind. He then quickly turns off the stove and tells her not to directly touch the pot. “Are you alright?” Kotori says yes, and she only touched it a little bit. Yukito asks her to let him see it. They touch each other’s hands then look at each other’s eyes.
Then, Yukito holds her hand and pulls her to him. He hugs her then breaks apart. Just when he is about to kiss her, they hear a ‘bang’ sound. They look at the door then they look at each other. Kotori asks what that sound was. Yukito says that he’ll go check it out. After he left, Kotori thinks that Yukito was about to kiss her and she felt that it’s quite regrettable that they didn’t. She blushes even more for thinking like that. Kotori snaps out of it when Yukito comes back and says that it seems that something fell on the hallway. They look at each other then Yukito asks about her finger. He asks if it is alright and do they have to put some ointment on it. He touches her again but she quickly pulls away and says that it is alright for she slightly touched the pot and he had quickly pulled her away from it. Yukito has a frozen smile. After a pause, he asks if it is really alright. She says yes. He asks again. She says yes, it really is. Yukito has a frozen smile again and says, is that so. Blushing Kotori says yes and they should continue cooking. Blushing Yukito frowns and thinks that he no longer has an alibi to touch her. Kotori thinks that she became indescribably nervous when she obviously hasn’t been this nervous before. She wonders if it is because of the almost kiss and actually, she would want them to continue. Kotori blushes and thinks that they are obviously alone today and it would be too tragic if they didn’t do anything. She wonders what only the two of them can do for today. “Even if I’m a bit nervous and somewhat embarrassed, I still anticipates something.. If I take the initiative to say this, won’t it feel a bit strange..how am I to say it, but if it’s like this then until we went home and still nothing has happened, if only I make a move..ugh..how could I have thought of something strange again..! I don’t know if Yukito, ..will still take the initiative again?” She turns around and exclaims in shock since Yukito is standing behind her. She asks him what it is. Yukito says that he told her about helping her so what can he help her in. Kotori tells him to saute the ground meat but not to overdo it. Yukito says okay. Kotori then asks him what he would like to have as a side dish. Even if the ingredients are limited but she would want to make one more dish. Yukito says how about something fried like meatballs or fried chicken. Kotori sweatdrops and says that it is all meat. Yukito tells her that he also likes potato salad. Kotori says that will do and if there are potatoes in the kitchen. Yukito says that there are. Kotori then asks if she can make the fish floss rice into onigiri [/rice balls] for convenience. While thinking that it sounds delicious, Yukito says it is okay.
While Yukito is cooking, he looks at Kotori who is peeling a potato with a knife. He comments that Kotori is quite good for she immediately thought of making tamagoyaki when cauliflower had been overcooked. Her technique is quite skilled and she knew that she can cook because she made that character bento box before but he never thought that she is this awesome. “Then, there would be no problem for you to become a bride, right?” Kotori is surprised that she blushes. She thinks, “Wha..what did he just say..Ah ah?!” Yukito asks her what it is. Blushing, Kotori tells him that he just said bride. Yukito becomes surprised by this. The two Kaji-s start to image things. Kotori thinks that she knows it wasn’t deliberate but..so called being married, is it this kind of feeling..pretty much. Kotori tensely wonders if one should take a bath first or eat first. Yukito is thinking naked apron. ^^; He snaps out of it when Kotori tells him that the meat will be burnt. Kotori tells him to lower the heat then put some soy sauce and sugar in it. Then slowly put in the broth and let it boil. Yukito apologizes for turning the meat lumpy and sticky. He says that he cannot even do a simple thing because it is usually his brother who cooks and he totally doesn’t have any interest in cooking. Kotori tells him that it is okay for him to just pay attention afterwards and that is also alright for him to just beat the meat to separate it. Kotori smiles and looks at him as Yukito concentrates on separating the meat. She then notices that he’s perspiring. He is surprised when she wipes his face with a handkerchief. Kotori apologizes for startling him for his face is filled with sweat. She asks if he minds. Blushing Yukito pauses before saying no and it would be better if she did it more. Kotori giggles and says that she’ll help him wipe off his perspiration. Still blushing Yukito feels that on contrary, he is sweating a lot more. Kotori then looks surprised and asks if he is alright since he is sweating more than he was a while ago. Yukito freaks out when she wipes his sweat inside his collar. While thinking what kind of play this is, blushing Yukito exclaims why she has to wipe there, too. Kotori is puzzled by his reaction and just says that it is because his perspiration drips down there. She tells out tense Yukito to keep his eyes on the pan so blushing Yukito did as told.
While wiping his sweat, Kotori muses to herself how cute Yukito is, to be sweating and cooking at the same time. She is surprised when Yukito says that he cannot take it anymore. He asks her to watch over the pan for a while. Kotori is shock upon seeing Yukito taking off his shirt and says that he just won’t stop sweating. Kotori blushes really red upon seeing him half-naked. Seeing her reaction, Yukito apologizes because in his family, they are mostly guys and he wasn’t careful for he thought this is something usual. Kotori turns away and tells him that it is alright for she is used to that since her father and her brother also does that. “I don’t feel anything different.” Yukito is somewhat disappointed over that reaction. Kotori nervously thinks that it was a lie, for she doesn’t feel anything if it’s her brother or her father but it is different if it’s Yukito. Yukito tells Kotori to let him continue cooking the food. Kotori tells him that it is alright for they just have to cool the meat down but instead, could he get some lunch boxes and plates. Yukito says okay. He tries to get the things in front of Kotori. Freaking out, Kotori thinks, “!! ?! Naked..naked body~~” Yukito shows her a lunch box and asks if that will be okay. Looking at it, Kotori says it will do. Yukito asks her what he should do next. When he asked if she is listening, Kotori snaps out of her thoughts and tells him to put the meat in the box to cool. Kotori thinks that right now, she is the one who’s perspiring. Yukito asks her what the matter is but she laughs it off and asks if he wants to be the food taster. Yukito blushes and says okay. He closes his eyes and opens his mouth. Kotori looks shock and wonders if Yukito wants her to feed him. Yukito urges her to hurry up. Kotori says okay. Taking a tamagoyaki, she tells him what it is and puts it in his mouth. Kotori is really tense for Yukito’s face and lips are so near. So, Yukito is eating it with his eyes closed and Kotori is pushing the food in with her eyes closed. Their eyes open wide when Yukito accidentally bites Kotori’s finger. The two blushing Kaji-s exclaim in shock. Yukito apologizes and asks if it hurts. Kotori looks at her finger and says that it doesn’t hurt and she’s alright. The two become silent. Yukito tells her that he isn’t feeling well because of sweating profusely so he’ll go take a shower.
After he left, Kotori looks at her bitten finger. She blushes really red upon thinking that Yukito’s lips are quite soft. She berates herself for acting so strange today. She didn’t notice that someone is watching her from behind the door. She turns around and there is another ‘bang’ sound. She looks at the door puzzled. Kotori wonders if she is just mistaken but it feels that someone is there. She wonders if it is Yukito. She decides to make the potato salad while he is taking a shower. She dreamily wonders what to do afterwards and will something happen. She blushes and wonders what she meant by that ‘something’. Meanwhile, Yukito is doing his shower mental monologue. =P He is also wondering what’s going to happen afterwards. He thinks the worse case scenario would be not doing anything. He finds it utterly boring to just ride the motorcycle, eat the bento, and that’s it. “I want it to be more passionate.. how problematic..I want to touch her, want to kiss her, want to do some lewd things, but I don’t want her to think that I’m some ferocious beast. Is this the feeling of a guy. *imagines cute Kotori* With her wearing that outfit, if she gets close to me, what should I do? I won’t dare look at her though I already did. If she looks as if she doesn’t want to, I couldn’t continue, right? But before, there are chances for us to continue but in the end, I failed. I cannot determine things just based on expression. So, in the end, I have to verify it, right? Even if she said before that there is no need to ask, but even if it’s like this..during the matsuri before, what was the mood when I kissed her? Ah~~Darn it~~” After taking a shower, half-naked Yukito returns to where Kotori is. He thinks that in the end, he wasn’t able to reach into a conclusion and just ended up taking a shower for a long time. He looks up and sees Kotori sleeping on the sofa. He blushes. Kotori wakes up and says that he has finished. She apologizes for feeling drowsy that she fell asleep. She is surprised when he suddenly hugs her. She blushes and calls his name. He calls her name. Then, they kiss then look lovingly at each other. Yukito apologizes that it was so sudden but doesn’t she want it. Kotori shakes her head sideways. Yukito is happy to over that. The two smile at each other.
They look at each other and leans closer for another kiss when they hear a creepy voice saying, “I’m..hungry..very hungry..” The two blushing Kaji-s look at the door to see Masaya peeking at them while having this creepy smile. They exclaim in shock as they call out his name. Later on, Masaya looks at the prepared food and says that it looks really delicious. Masaya asks who made it even though the answer is already obvious. Kotori smiles and tells him that she did but Yukito also helped. Masaya smiles brightly and says is that so, and Kotori is really good in cooking. The two Kaji-s look dark as they think that Masaya saw..absolutely saw them. Yukito thinks that his brother absolutely saw them kiss and that expression of his definitely shows that Masaya is plotting something. Sparkling Masaya smiles and tells them that it is good for he is hungry, really and truly hungry. Yukito tells him that is theirs. With a cold proud look, Masaya tells them, “I’m an examinee student [for college?], and compare to the two of you who are in the first year, I don’t have any free time to go lovey-dovey here, understood?” The two Kaji-s look tense-aghast. Later on, it seems to be dark already, Yukito apologizes to Kotori for a huge portion was taken by his brother when it was obviously something that she made for him. Holding a wrapped bento box, Kotori tells him that it is alright for they made a lot and the leftover is still enough for the two of them. Yukito apologizes again. Yukito suggests that they ride on the motorcycle to the nearby park to eat. Kotori agrees with him. As Yukito opens the garage, he is shock that the motorcycle is missing. Kotori is surprised, too. Yukito darkly thinks that it is that guy. Yukito angrily turns around and exclaims where his brother could have hidden the motorcycle. Kotori stops him by saying to forget it for today, and they should go. Yukito tries to protest but Kotori tells him that there is another chance next time and she’ll eagerly anticipate riding it with him next time. “And, for me to be able to be with you today already made me really happy, so let’s go so that I can still be with you for a while..” Yukito blushes and agrees with her. He holds her hand and agrees that this kind of birthday isn’t bad at all. In the last scene, while eating an onigiri, Masaya says that he won’t lend his motorcycle to impure kids. [<- I guess he doesn’t want to be an accomplice to ‘something’that might happen ^^; Nah, he is just a killjoy since he’s jealous =P ]
Hehe, I feel that Kenken and Masaya are in the same category of being an ‘amusing hindrance’ for the two though I feel that it will all be at Yukito’s expense =P I'm starting to imagine that they'll meet Kenken at the park. ^^;; I really like this couple. They are so cute, funny and romantic. Hehe, they are really silly lovers. It is a lot of fun to read through their internal monologues/imaginations and of course, their funny expressions. They are really like a married couple there. It is amusing how they are seducing each other unwittingly =P Hehe, they really think too much over things when it comes to things, it just comes naturally. I like the author’s idea of a gift-less birthday as in it isn’t an object but something what the other can do for the person s/he likes. It’s quite sweet and it makes a really nice memory. I’m a bit puzzled though about the riding the motorcycle when they should have rode it together from the restaurant but it is too nearby to count as a ‘real ride together’. Scans by 17kk.com

Koibana! Koiseyo Hanabi [Side Story]
Tuesday, December 14, 2010
Hanabi still looks down. Chikai looks at her. The two dogs look at them. Narration: “Cleo-chan, I understand your feelings, ‘waiting’ is really hard [/painful].” Hanabi is surprised when Chikai tells her that right now, he is waiting and while doing that, he wonders if one has already reach one’s limit soon. “You should know, right? If you feel that you can’t, then don’t come near. And even if you do come near, you should be aware of it.” Hanabi blushes in shock over this. Looking at her, Chikai says, “I’m currently waiting for you.” Blushing, Hanabi shouts, “--then! Be good and just wait there!” Chikai angrily shouts, “Ha!?” Hanabi exclaims, “Don’t pretend that you don’t know that I’m very nervous! I..” Chikai is surprised when Hanabi pulls his shirt and gives him a kiss on the lips. The dogs look at them. Blushing while covering her lips, Hanabi says, “..I was thinking, that perhaps there’s no problem anymore..today, I should more or less..[before] coming here.” Hanabi blushes really red. Chikai looks at her and blushes a bit. Narration: “The feeling of ‘accomplished’ really feels good.” Then, Hanabi exclaims in disgust that Chikai is surprised as he angrily asks if it still won’t do. The two dogs look at them along with their cute two puppies. =P
And, basically, the author spared us the ordeal of going through months and months in their time with Hanabi still cannot get over her problem. I think it will take years. ^^; I guess Chikai really does love her enough to patiently wait for her. Of course, it is partly because of her perseverance and she does show to him that there is progress even if it’s really teeny-tiny small. Gambatte to both of them. ^^ Scans by 玉/wdsjznl for BW.

Stardust★Wink [Chapter 24]

[Free Talk: About The One 72, someone in baidu said that there is no chapter this month because a volume will be out. Some people say that it isn’t true but then, until now, there are no scans of it so let’s just wait and see. Edit: azuki582 posted that the summary is in mangafox. Thanks~ That is now one less summary to do ^-^. Anyway, I really like this chapter and it is a must read for Hinata’s fans. ^_^]
While walking towards her room, Anna’s mother, who is carrying some ironed clothes, notices her and says that she has returned. Her mother says that it is good since Hinata came. Anna lamely says yeah. Her mother is surprised when Anna goes in her room and loudly closes the door. Leaning on the door, Anna looks up and thinks, “After everything that has happened, what was that just now? My brain is not working because so many things happened today. It really seems like I was in a dream. Was that reality? [<- Sou asking for some space] Or, is that other thing a dream? [<- birthday party] *teary eyed* I understand what Sou is saying. For both of us, that path is definitely for the best. Those kind of things, even if I understand it.. *She remembers Sou asking her if she also thinks that it is for the good.* At that time, I don’t agree to it. I totally disagree. *crying on the bed* I obviously like Hinata but for Sou to leave, I also feel lonely. I’m really awful..” Coco then notices something. It starts banging the cage. Crying Anna sits up and looks at it. She goes to it and asks what the matter is. “Do you want to go out?” While she is opening the cage, she is surprised when someone calls out, “Anna, I’m coming in.” While holding Coco, Anna’s eyes widen in surprise and thinks, “This voice--..” She turns to the door and to her surprise, she sees Hinata standing there, looking at her. Anna goes, “Eh? Hinata?! Why are you here?!” Coco immediately flies towards Hinata who catches it on his open palms. Anna continues to exclaim in disbelief that his Shinkansen trip, isn’t it suppose to be on 18:00 so if he doesn’t hurry. While holding on to Coco, Hinata tells her that ya, he totally made a U-turn though there is still a last train and there are some seats there. “While on my way, there is something that is really bothering me.” Anna goes into shock about something bothering Hinata. “Could it be that you are going to say, ‘I forgot to meet with Coco’.. You are really a squirrel otaku..” Hinata looks aghast over being called that way. After a long pause, Hinata says that it isn’t so. Anna exclaims what’s with that long pause just now. Hinata insists that it isn’t so. Anna looks at him and asks what it is. Hinata looks at her and says, “..I was wondering whether Anna is crying or not.”
Anna looks at him in surprise. She nervously laughs and asks, “..Huh? Me? Why would I?” She stops when she sees Hinata looking at her. Anna realizes that Hinata knew what Sou is going to tell her today. Hinata tries to move a step towards her but to his surprise, Anna shouts for him not to come near. Looking away, Anna says that she’s cruel [/too much]. “Don’t come near..Hinata will definitely be digusted with me, too..” Anna wonders how Hinata views the current her. “I really want to disappear. The really unreasonable me.” Hinata says, “You’re really stupid, Anna.” Anna is surprised when Hinata hugs her tight. Hinata tells her, “If you are always with someone who is with you since birth and that person says that he wants to part away, it is inevitable that you’ll feel lonely. It’s very normal. It isn’t something one will be disgusted with.” Hinata breaks away and smiles at Anna who looks at him. Then, while holding a box of tissues, Hinata shouts, “Okay, quickly wipe those tears away!! Here, tissue!!!” Anna replies, “Yes. Speaking of that, these are my house’s tissues.” While wiping her tears, Hinata assures her that it will be alright. “It also won’t be like forever be parted from each other. Just be parted temporarily and things can still go back to what it was with Sou.” Anna asks, “...Can it..” Hinata says, “It can. *blank look* Because for a half year of not talking with each other, the us who always had a cold war, aren’t we talking to each other normally right now?” Anna looks surprised at him. She looks tense since Hinata is sparkling while looking pleased with himself. Anna says that he is right. Anna somewhat smiles and looks Hinata who is consoling furious Coco, who has fallen on the bed. While Coco hugs Hinata’s finger, Anna thinks, “Unbelievable, the thing that has been dominating over me has became light. Hinata is really amazing.”
At the train station, Hinata tells Anna that there is no need to her to go with him there. Anna says that she should and her mother said that she will fetch her later on. Anna smiles and says, “Hinata, I’m really thankful that you specially came back to cheer me up.” Hinata looks at her and then reminds her that he told her that she is stupid. Sweatdropping, Anna is puzzled then says ya, he told her that many times already. Hinata says, “But, the one who is really stupid ought to be Sou.” Flashback: While they were preparing for the surprise party, Hinata looked surprised and asked Sou if he is really going to tell that to Anna. Sou said that it is true, so he is informing Hinata first about it. Hinata asked if that is okay since Anna will be hurt. Sou sadly said that it is no big deal because if things are like that right now, he’ll just make her cry again. End flashback. Hinata seems to look somewhat sad and said, “Stupid Sou..” [<- I’m not sure if this one is part of the flashback or not.] Anna looks aghast and says that it is quite surprising that Hinata would really think that Sou is stupid. Hinata tells her, “Lean your ear closer, because for example..” Holding her hand to her ear as Hinata is going to whisper it to her, Anna says, “What is it..?” To her surprise, Hinata kisses her on the cheek instead. Holding where Hinata kissed her, Anna looks surprised at Hinata. Hinata tells her, “Sou hasn’t thought that when he isn’t around, there is a possibility that I can make a move on Anna. *smiles* He’s stupid, right?” Sou boards the train and waves goodbye, leaving Anna still looking shock and blushing that she can only thinks ‘!?’. Sou goes out of the convenient store and looks up the starry sky that had a shooting star flying over. Narration: “Left behind is the me who still cannot see clearly ahead. Star/s flew over. The two stars that stir me up.”
This chapter is amazing and well, Hinata is, too. He pretty much said and did the right things that can make a girl fall for him..or fall for him more if that person is like Anna who already likes him in the first place. =P From this chapter, it is obvious what Hinata’s edge with Anna compared with Sou. Hinata can even flirst/tease Anna if he really wants to. It makes me think that it is probably serious in a way since Hinata doesn’t seem to be the type to tease her that way. I cannot imagine Hinata doing that with any other girl except Anna. Actually, he can even make Anna his without much effort. I wonder if the author made Hinata study elsewhere to give him a handicap in a seemingly one-sided fight. Maybe that ‘cold war’ between them is another handicap, too. This chapter makes me really wonder if Hinata does like Anna romantically but he is being considerate over Sou’s feelings. Since Sou seems to have already given up, ah..Hinata makes a move? Well, he is really concerned about Anna feeling sad and crying. I still wonder why he didn’t do anything before during their cold war before. ^^; Is it because he is still under Mari and just like Sou, he would just end up making her cry again and again or he wants her to concentrate in passing the high school entrance exam? Anyway, it has been an emotional rollercoaster for Anna that after today, she will really be wondering if it is all a dream or not. =P I love the pleasant surprises that author has been pulling in the chapters lately and the pacing is really good. Hope the author keeps it up ^^ Scans by All★Wink漢化組.

About Blog Pic + La Corda d' Oro [Side Story]
Saturday, December 11, 2010
The new blog picture is from Shinrei Tantei Yakumo aka Psychic Detective Yakumo which is serialized in Asuka. The artist is really good and I like the art. I checked the anime which is a bit shallow and cheesy. The manga seems to be better but then, I just browse through it. Maybe I appreciate it better since Yakumo has a cute side in the manga. This picture is supposed to be used on the side but with so much time done to remove the wordings, I decided to use it on the top. =P It seems that they are making a pose at a photo studio and since this season, people usually take pictures because of the holidays..so I hope it can pass for a Christmasy picture. ^^; About La Corda d’ Oro, cristina asked me to summarize it but last month’s chapter is just a side story. Well, thanks to that, I noticed an important announcement at the end. La Corda d’ Oro is going into its final arc!! Yes, it is ending so it has suddenly made Len x Kahoko fans in baidu nervous and Len fans asking where he is. I cannot blame them. Ryoutaro is the one who confessed then it is announced the series is ending. I guess we might have a fast-forward thing else, Ryoutaro is ‘the one’ or end with no one scenario. The side story is easy so I wrote it below:
It is basically about Aoi who just bought a lot of pictures of Kahoko. Then, the girl who sold the pictures asks him what it is about Kahoko that attracted him. He starts to wonder. She always greets him in the morning as she goes to practice. Attraction 1: perseverance. He then asks other people about it. The reactions were: Kazuki blushes. Azuma smiles and says that is a sudden question. Some girl says that Kahoko is a dependable and outstanding sempai. Keiichi says that she’s frank. Teacher asks, ha? Len says that she is striving hard lately. Ryoutaro sweatdrops and asks what’s Aoi doing with that notebook. Aoi smiles and says that he is just verifying. He feels that he gets to know her more and more each day which makes everyday a happy one since he transferred. Kahoko’s English is poor so Aoi has to help her in translating but he was caught by the teacher. Aoi is good at cooking and Kahoko is awful at it. Aoi finds her quite cute while in the classroom but the best is when she plays the violin. Aoi peeks in the room at the roof where she practices. He knew that he doesn’t have the talent so he gave up but for her, no matter what she won’t give up. [<- Just refer to whatever back story they have.] His thoughts were interrupted when Kahoko has opened the door and saw him. Aoi quickly gives an alibi by offering her something to eat. He then makes light talk about her practicing seriously and there is noticeable improvement in her playing. Kahoko blushes and thanks him. He is surprised when Kahoko comments that he really likes music for he knows a lot about it. He also seriously listens to the others’ performance and is very happy upon hearing a good performance. She tells him that she would want to play again with him soon. Aoi smiles and thanks her. Kahoko is puzzled. Aoi thinks that it is a contradiction for he indeed likes music, and he also likes the Kahoko who is happily playing. As they head back to the classroom, Aoi thinks, “..but she’ll definitely will fly to a world where I cannot reach. *remembers about what she said about playing together* Right now..even if still don’t have self-confidence..but one day..definitely will..” Aoi then happily tells the two who got him the pictures that Kahoko is his swan. The girl asks shouldn’t it be a mermaid.

The Hana to Yume calendar is posted in baidu scanned by chinglan1987. Check it out if you’re interested. The ones that I like are Hana to Akuma and the awesome Akatsuki no Yona. I love it ^^ Anyway, there is also a SB! New Year greeting card by the author, shared by chinglan1987. It is so cute. I have no idea what is written but I think it is fun to guess what Kyouko/Setsuka told Ren/Cain. [Edit: Sara did a partial translation of what is written in the card. "About the SB! card, above Ren and Kyoko it's wriiten 'Setsu san's brother offers this years aspirations'. Ren says : "I like eating my meals without ..." (sorry I can't read the kanji) Kyoko gives him a carrot soup, so I suppose it's about vegetables."] Below are my and some people in baidu’s imagination of what they say. Hehe, mine is not creative enough. ^^; Anyway, if you have a funny, amusing guess what they could have said like what’s below, just tag it and I’ll post it here ^^

Hadashi de Bara wo Fume [Chapter 41]
Thursday, December 9, 2010
She is surprised when Soichiroh calls out her name. Outside her house, Soichiroh is still breathing hard from running and looks really rugged. [Ah..he ran all night? ^^;] Somewhat flustered Sumi asks if he ran all the way there. Eisuke is also surprised to see him and still called Soichiroh, president. Soichiroh grabs Sumi’s hand and says that she’s coming with him. Sumi is puzzled but he tells her to just be good and come with him. They left, leaving the puzzled-surprised children. At the company, there is a board meeting. It seems to be already 1030am. Takemoto says that Soichiroh hasn’t arrive but then, they have already prepared for the president’s replacement so should they proceed with the meeting. Natsuki gives the permission to do so but Nozomu, who is looking out the window, says that Soichiroh will come because his most precious thing is this Ashida Products [company]. He remembers his proposal to Soichiroh of giving Sumi to him and he’ll help Soichiroh be retained as president. Still looking out the window, Nozomu then looks utterly shock. Natsuki asks what it is. Nozomu quickly runs out of the room and heads downstairs. At the company’s door, Komai tells someone that he came to got something that Nozomu forgot to bring with him. Komai is surprised when someone bumps him at the back. Soichiroh mutters his apology then runs inside with Sumi. Komai then looks flustered and shock by this. Nozomu reaches the stairs and meets with Soichiroh and Sumi. While couple are breathing hard and still holding each other’s hands, Soichiroh calls out to Nozomu. Natsuki has already arrived and is surprise to see him. Soichiroh holds Sumi close to him and shouts, “Sumi is my wife! I won’t give her to you!” Sumi is shock by this. Nozomu grits his teeth in anger. Komai looks surprised and blushes. [<- his expression is really amusing like a girl going ‘aw~’. ^^;] After a pause, Nozomu asks, “..what you mean is..compared to the company, you’ll chose..Miss Sumi..?” Nozomu is flustered when Soichiroh shouts, “That’s right!”
By now, the other people from the meeting are there, too. Flustered Sumi exclaims that isn’t so and what Soichiroh said doesn’t count.. Soichiroh shouts to her not say anymore. Facing her, he shouts, “I will live together with you!” Nozomu got angrier, Komai is teary-eyed and flustered, and Sumi is flustered-surprised. She asks, “With me?” Soichiroh shouts that they are a married couple. He takes out her ring and puts it on her finger. While holding hands in front of everyone, Sumi calls his name as they lovingly look at each other. Natsuki or someone else exclaims that girl is the president’s wife and based on that outfit, she is truly poor. Soichiroh happily looks at the others and says, “Everyone, I’m leaving Ashida Products up to you guys!” Everyone looks surprised and of course, Nozomu still looks really furious. As Soichiroh and Sumi walks out, Komai partly covers his face with what he is carrying. He is teary-eyed and really happy for Soichiroh. After the couple left, Natsuki laughs and says that the president has resigned. While the others are wondering if Soichiroh has really resigned, Natsuki notices that Nozomu is heading upstairs again. Natsuki follows Nozomu to the president’s room. He is surprised when Nozomu carries up the chair then smashes its legs on the table. Natsuki timidly calls out to him. Nozomu looks at Natsuki with cold eyes. Gesturing to the broken chair, Nozomu says, “You should also prepare a new president chair, Mr. Natsuki, No..President Kyujou..” Natsuki looks a bit flustered-tense. While walking through the streets, Sumi remembers Soichiroh telling her that he will live with her. “Soichiroh has chosen me. Ashida Products, the president’s position, the luxurious house, he has given up all of it. He has chosen this path of living together with me. Even if this path is filled with thorns, I won’t be afraid if only I’m together with you.” The last scene, Sumi and Soichiroh go back to her house and greet the children who happily rush to them.
I was wondering if just because Soichiroh gave up the company, does it mean that he’ll automatically lost all of his money and property? I guess since Soichiroh has disgraced his family for marrying a poor girl that it technically means that he’ll be disowned. His grandfather is also sick so he pretty much doesn’t have any backing within the family. So, it seems that Soichiroh will really build and get everything back from scratch. I’m hoping that he could at least bring some money with him. There are a lot of mouths to feed in Sumi’s family and most of them are children. It is indeed idealistic to choose love over money but then, there are couples who break up because of money. Just like what Sumi thought, it will be a thorny road ahead. This time around, I hope Eisuke has learned his lesson and won’t go gambling again. Hehe, after forty chapters, Sumi is poor again ^^; but at least now, with a loving husband. I wonder if Komai will return to him soon or Komai will stick with Nozomu for the meantime as a spy. With his proposal declined, I don’t think Nozomu is going to give up too easily. With Soichiroh now poor, I think Nozomu being rich has a lot of ways to make his life miserable. Natsuki owes a lot to Nozomu so he might try to get favors from Natsuki. Since Sumi is wearing those clothes and hairstyle, I wonder if he remembered her as the one whom he gave money before. Hm..but then, if Nozomu still likes Sumi, he might not want to make her suffer a poor lifestyle or making her sad. I wonder if he can still convince Sumi about the proposal that he gave to Soichiroh. Anyway, since it is mentioned that Eisuke doesn’t look like Sumi, I guess they might be not real siblings or maybe just half-siblings. Hopefully, the author would finally bring up Sumi’s past/real background. Scans by babystar1028 in billwang.

It is out in BW. Wow..is it just me or the chapters lately have guys 'proposing/finally doing something' left and right? ^^; For a teaser, Soichiroh got Sumi back. He proposes to her in front of Nozomu and everyone else in the company. "Nozomu! Sumi is my wife! I won't give her to you!" He is no longer ashamed of her since she is wearing her 'poor clothes'. Yes, he chose Sumi over the company, much to Nozomu's anger. Nozomu vents his anger on the president chair. ^^; And, the couple head back to that little shack.
I'll do this tomorrow but basically, that is all that had happened. ^^;
Stardust★Wink [Side Story on Karin]
Wednesday, December 8, 2010
[This is Hinata’s side story I told you about long, long before that was published in Margaret. This is set during the time when Hinata and Anna had a ‘cold war’. Well, it is actually all about Karin, Kurumi’s younger sister. Mochiduki Kurumi is the glasses girl who had a crush on Hinata if you still remember her. This is like a one-shot story so there are some re-introductions. Scans by defer for iieye.]
Later on, Karin introduces herself to Hinata and Mari, the art teacher. She says that from now on, she’ll be in the art club. She mentally thinks that Hinata really looks handsome. She becomes tense when Hinata kept on staring at her. He then says that she’s Kurumi’s younger sister. An arrow points that Hinata is slow-witted. Karin happily exclaims that is right and she’s happy to meet him again. Karin says that she heard from her sister that they have already quit that she is worried if yesterday, Hinata just so happen to be in.. Hinata says yes and because it is part of the contents [/requirements] of the exam. Mari tells Karin that Hinata is going to test in a high school that specializes in art. Karin sees a still painting by Hinata. Holding the painting and thinking that it is amazing, she exclaims about how well the picture is drawn. Pointing at the plastic bottle, towel, basin, etc model on the table, Hinata says that he just looks at that then use his pencil here to... Karin exclaims in disbelief that it looks so real even with just a pencil. “It’s like magic. Are you Van Gogh? Picasso? Bach?” While Hinata stares at her thinking that Bach is a musician, Karin thinks that she just learned a lot more about Hinata. Mari apologizes for interrupting Karin’s excitement but it will be cultural festival soon so could she draw some pictures that can be shown for display. Karin becomes tense and asks if she can draw. Mari happily says that she should draw since she is part of the art club. There are already people attracted to it because of Hinata’s art work. Karin becomes tense for she doesn’t really care about the art club activities but she still has to draw something since she is in the club and she doesn’t really like to draw. Mari thinks out loud as to what would be Karin’s theme since she already gave the others’ their theme. To Karin and Hinata’s surprise, Mari winks and happily says that Karin’s theme will be ‘Tokura Hinata’. Mari asks Karin if she knows the secret of drawing well. Mari whispers to her, “Filled with emotion, go draw the thing that you like. ♥” Karin blushes over this. Soon, Karin tries to draw Hinata who is also drawing. Karin thinks that Mari is really amazing to know how she feels for Hinata. She thinks that after the festival, Hinata will do the first stage [entrance] exams and if he passed, he won’t go to the art room anymore. She thinks that compared to not doing anything, what is the best alternative of action though this is actually good. “Even if sempai is the model, but I have to consider sempai’s point of view.”
Hinata sighs that made Karin mentally apologize and cry for being troublesome. Hinata asks her if she wants him to go tell the teacher. Karin is puzzled. Hinata says that Karin probably doesn’t want to draw something strange and that teacher is a bit weird. Hinata is stunned when Karin shouts that it isn’t about not wanting to draw. She also exclaims that Hinata is really good that she wants to draw [him]. “Can I?” Hinata is speechless as Karin looks tense and flustered. Hinata finally agrees as long as he isn’t made to pose. Karin happily says that she would want to draw him everyday while walking, studying, basically, his everyday life. After a pause, Hinata says that if she thinks that can help her then.. Karin happily thanks him. “I’m so happy, I’ll do my best in drawing--” Soon, Karin follows Hinata when he is getting his lunch at the canteen, eating with Sou, walking at the hallway with Sou, Hinata washing his hands, and etc. At the roof top, Sou finally asks Hinata what’s with that girl whom he is seeing more often lately. “Is she Hinata’s stalker?” In the middle of drawing, Karin is shock by that insinuation. Hinata tells Sou that she is Mochiduki from art class. Sou asks isn’t Mochiduki suppose to be the one with the glasses. Hinata explains that the elder sister is the one with glasses and this one is the younger sister. Sou asks Karin what she is doing. A bit flustered, Karin says that she is drawing ‘Idle Tokura-sempai on the Rooftop’. Sou looks aghast as he thinks that it seems he understands yet doesn’t. Then, Hinata sneezes. Sou asks if Hinata has a cold. Hinata says that his throat hurts a bit. Sou comments that when the season changes, he is always like that. Karin happily says that she has a throat soothing candy. While taking the candy from her bag, she says that she really likes that candy so she always brings it with her. She happily gives Hinata a quince flavor candy. The guys stare at the candy. Sou then asks if it’s a same item. [Quince = Karin] Blushing, Karin exclaims no. Sou comments that girls these days are really gutsy for doesn’t that candy mean ‘please eat me’. Blushing and aghast, Karin denies it. Hinata tells Sou not to tease her. Sou keeps on saying that normally that is what one will think. Hinata apologizes to Karin and tells her that Sou is just like that [so don’t mind him]. Hinata thanks her for the candy. Blushing Karin says okay.
She then stares at Hinata as he eats the candy. Karin mentally cries and thinks that it is all because of what Sou said that now her heart is beating so fast even if from the start, she is already nervous. “Because I basically cannot believe. It is already a miracle that I am with Tokura-sempai and in the end, also with Nagase-sempai! They are the school’s idols! Can I actually be part of them? This situation is like.. It’s like..” Karin then remembers that there is a long haired girl who is always with the two guys before. The bell rings. Hinata asks if she is finished drawing. Karin says yes. To her surprise, Hinata asks to see it. Hinata, together with Sou, browses through the sketch book and says that it’s pretty good, no wonder they [Kurumi and Karin] are sisters. Hinata says that she has drawn a lot but doesn’t she need only one for the display. Karin says that is true but her drawings aren’t as good as Hinata and her sisters’ drawing so she did a lot to make up for her shortcoming. She tells them she wants to use all the pictures as one exhibit entitled, ‘Tokura-sempai’s Day’. The two guys look aghast as they think that is so embarrassing. Karin innocently asks if she cannot. Hinata cannot answer her properly so he just tells her to ask the teacher about it first. Karin says that he is right. As Hinata prepares to leave and prays that the teacher would decline, Karin looks somewhat sad and asks, “..about that, I want to draw one last one, can you permit me to do so, sempai?” Karin thinks, “I want to draw sempai, and what I thought of right now, is sempai’s smile. Most of the time, sempai rarely smiles, but I know, the one/s who can make sempai show that smile. Usually, it is during that time..” Hinata turns to her and coldly says, “I’m sorry.” Hinata heads inside. Sou glances at disappointed Karin who looks as if she is about to cry. Narration: “I’m really awful. Because sempai is really nice, that I let the success go into my head...” After some time, she is surprised when a girl exclaims that it is Tokura-sempai. From the window, Karin looks down to the school gate to see Hinata and Sou, along with the other students, coming in school. The girl earlier with her friend are talking about those two being childhood friends. They go to school together since they were in the elementary and their relationship is really good. “Uh? Isn’t there suppose to be another one?” “Ah, yes, there is a girl sempai. It is so unfair.” “But, lately, I don’t seem to see them together.” “Apparently, it is so, now that you mentioned it.”
Narration: “Tokura-sempai, with Nagase-sempai and also, another childhood friend always go to school together but since second term, I suddenly weren’t able to see the three of them together. Actually, I pretty much know about it. Knew about it.” On the cultural festival day, Karin looks at Hinata’s painting of a street wherein the sun is just about to rise in the horizon. Karin muses that Hinata’s painting is really awesome. Kurumi passes by and tells her that the title of that piece is ‘Junior High Life’s Memory [/recollection]’. Karin asks if this is Hinata’s memory. Kurumi says yes and from what she heard, it is the road that he usually takes to go to school. Kurumi is surprised to see Karin looking teary-eyed. Narration: “The picture is brimming with the morning sun. Filled with fresh air, just like usual, opening the day with a short walk. Actually, I knew. Only those two people can walk with him in that short road. Even if this is so, I still hoped to see him, looking at me with that kind of expression.. Sempai would only show that kind of smile, when those two are at his side. I’m always envious. Floating [/graceful] long hair and clear laughter. I really longed for it, really desire it, desperately longing for it. I’m very envious of that person.” While Anna is walking with her friends at the hallway, Karin calls out to her, “Koshiro-sempai.” Anna is puzzled since she doesn’t know her. Giving her sketchbook to Anna, Karin says, “Please take this, because even if I hold on to this, I cannot finish it. *smiles* Sempai, please help me complete, the last one [picture].” Leaving puzzled Anna who is holding the sketchbook, Karin runs off. Narration: “Although it’s a bit of a detour, I will try to go on the road that sempai walks to school. Although it’s a distant place, if only I can still see sempai’s smiling face, I would be happy. Very happy.”
This is basically a slice-of-life type of story of a girl’s crush whom she cannot get..or rather, cannot make him smile to her like how he does with his childhood friends but in the end, she lets go and wish him happiness for it will make her happy, too. I think it’s nice somewhat sad story. Of course, she would never get to see Hinata smile during those morning walks to school ever again since he and Anna made up only when he is already leaving for Tokyo. The painting is really sad since it is their last year together yet they have this long ‘cold war’ type of quarrel. So many would-be memories of still walking together to school are lost. I wonder why they didn’t patch up earlier..either those two or Sou who could be the mediator. Sou did it only at the end. I think that Hinata really missed those times since that painting and his birthday gift to Anna are paintings of ‘happier times’. I also think that even if Hinata is really nice and seems like a pushover, he knows where to draw the line. This is the second time I have seen Hinata had that ‘cold look’. I wonder if he is like that before who probably doesn’t like pushy girls or it became part of him after the Mari incident. Mari seems to really like acting as if she is some sort of matchmaker. She actually did it again..making Karin hope that she has a chance with Hinata but actually, she doesn’t. I still wonder what the deal between him and Mari really was. I’m trying to wishfully think that Hinata tries to like Mari or something along those lines because he knows that he cannot have Anna whom Sou really likes. The bond between these two guys is really deep and I wonder if they are going by the tradition of who confess first or who says he likes Anna first has the right to Anna. Well, it seems that afterwards, it is like a ‘professional’ relationship between Mari and Hinata. Maybe Hinata thinks that even if Mari is playing around with his feelings, she is still a good art teacher. ^^; Anyway, from this story, Anna will always be someone special to Hinata whether they end up together or not because she is one of few people whom he would happily smile at, like that.

Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu [Chapter 76]
Tuesday, December 7, 2010
Kyouta is about to chase after her when Nako holds his arm and shouts him not to go. “If you run after her, then you won’t make it to the meeting!! There might not be another chance like this again! Weren’t you always really interested in Professor Kaminaga’s research problem..” Kyouta just scowls and looks tense. Meanwhile, Tsubaki is still running. After crossing the street, she catches her breath and thinks that she said some foolish things. She thinks that Nako is someone who can help Kyouta in his future career and she unexpectedly expose her desire to monopolize Kyouta. She looks up and thinks that she even got lost midway. “Tsubaki-kun definitely thinks that I’m quite troublesome--” She didn’t finish that thought when she sees Kyouta is standing in the street across her. Tsubaki blushes in disbelief that he chased after her. They look at each other’s eyes as Kyouta crosses the street and hugs her. Tsubaki asks why and what about his date with Nako. “Right now isn’t the time to be chasing after me..” Kyouta asks her what foolishness she is talking about, for something has definitely happened for Tsubaki to say that to Nako. “How can you ask me to just let this be? Could it be that you..feel that there is something between me and Nako?” Tsubaki looks surprised as she unconsciously grips his coat tight. Tsubaki tells him that it isn’t that she doesn’t trust him, but she just felt indescribably uneasy. Kyouta pulls away from the embrace and tells her, “Okay, okay, just tell me..what you are thinking, okay?” While holding hands and leaning on the railing[?] on the street, Tsubaki tells him that it is when he always calls Kikuzuki as Nako. Kyouta says that he also calls Miho by her name. Tsubaki says that it isn’t the same. Tsubaki admits that before he asked her what she wanted to do and she said that it is a secret but actually, she only hasn’t decided on it that is why she couldn’t say it. “But Miss Kikuzuki, who is more intelligent than me, and has the same interest with you, so you have a lot of same topics to talk about with her, so, I feel that you..ought to be happier whenever you are with Miss Kikuzuki!”
Kyouta tells her not to think in place of him and just jump into that conclusion. Tsubaki asks him why not when he obviously would have a meeting with Nako today yet he told her that he has work and doesn’t have time. “Isn’t it because of her, that you can free some of your time?” Tsubaki is puzzled when Kyouta says, “Fine. I won’t see her.” Tsubaki is shock when Kyouta takes his cellphone and throws it towards a car that is passing by. The cellphone is a total wreck. He tells her that the phone number and email address is now lost and afterwards, he won’t see Kikuzuki again. [<- ya, he quit calling her by the first name.] Kyouta smiles at Tsubaki and says, “After this, are you still worried?” Tsubaki looks really flustered. He starts ruffling her hair and says, “Today and always, I’ll be with you. Where do you want to go?” She is quiet then she hugs him. Kyouta is surprised by this. Tsubaki says, “I only want to be by your side...” Kyouta looks serious and somewhat flustered. He replies, “..understood.” Soon, they are in Kyouta’s room. While Tsubaki is standing and waiting, Kyouta suddenly hugs her from behind. He turns her head to him and kisses her. Blushing, Tsubaki then kisses him back. While they do their thing, Tsubaki thinks, “Every time, I and Kyouta-kun deeply embrace, my uneasiness would disappear without a trace...” Later on, Tsubaki is copying on a piece of paper something from her cellphone. Kyouta wakes up and hugs her. He asks her what she is doing. Tsubaki says that it is nothing. Kyouta then looks surprise upon seeing that Nako’s cellphone number and email address is written on the note. He exclaims, why. Tsubaki says that she thought about it thoroughly. “It is hard to come by for Miss Kikuzuki to invite you to a research meeting. It is for the best that you go.” Kyouta looks surprised. Holding the piece of paper with both her hands to him, Tsubaki smiles and says, “I’m already fine. Later on, go together with Miss Kikuzuki.” Kyouta blushes a bit then hugs Tsubaki tight. Tsubaki looks happy as she thinks, “It’s alright. Afterwards, I will smile as I send you off!”
And..as I mentioned before, Tsubaki is really such an ideal girlfriend. It’s good that Kyouta was able to reassure her..even if it is a bit dramatic of him to destroy a cellphone which he would probably work hard again to buy a new one. =P I’m wonder if that reassurance would help her become more confident..well, maybe about Kyouta’s love for her but what about herself? In her conversation with Nako, Nako pretty much dominates her and Tsubaki is feeling guilty about being selfish. ^^; It should be the other way around. I guess this is why Nako got away with it and she thinks there’s nothing wrong for her to see someone who already has a girlfriend. She may have the brains but she doesn’t know social norms. ^^; So, do you think that this is the end of this arc or Nako isn’t going to give up just yet? Hehe, I guess most of you would probably be waiting in hope for a male rival for Tsubaki. I wonder if she has someone like male Nako in her life, how would Kyouta react? It makes me think that it might be like what’s happening in Mishounen Produce. Scans by Amyangel19910323 for BW.

Barajou no Kiss [Chapter -6 ] and [Chapter 29] Teaser
Monday, December 6, 2010
Sparkling Mitsuru happily says that at first, Mutsuki isn’t fully awake, so he was mistaken and so, he chose Mutsuki’s name. Mutsuki angrily says that it would have been okay if Mitsuru had just denied it from the very start. Shock Anis tells him that it is the other party who is wrong.. While Kaede is laughing over this, Seiran asks about the name. Mitsuru says, “That name..is the name..of my beloved horse that had died. Because the hair is the same..” Furious, Mutsuki holds on to Anis and starts to form his whip. He says, “In the end, I ought to kill you..” Anis angrily shouts for him not to use her blood. So, there is that thing between those two. Flashback: Narration: “That is loathed by the moonlight, with an overwhelming darkness [/dark color], this ominous, beautiful beast. Can I dominate this magical beast..while still seeking for my ‘Dominion’..aspired for ‘Rose Princess’..!” Still looking surprised as he looked at Mutsuki, Mitsuru muttered that so, he lost his memories. “..okay, I’ll give you a ‘name’, [it’s] Mutsuki. *offering his hand to Mutsuki* Pay your unconditional loyalty to me.” Narration: “Together with me, pay the highest unconditional loyalty to the pursued and adored, still not found rose--”
I think this is the first side story and since the author is going by negative numbers, I guess we have five more. Hehe, I guess this is something that Mitsuru can always tease Mutsuki on. Mitsuru is indeed very beautiful that it makes me wonder if Mutsuki has not seen that kind of ‘beautiful guy/bishounen’ before. =P This pretty much explains why Mitsuru can easily push/order Mutsuki around before. Since he has no memory and no place to go go, Mutsuki has no choice but to do whatever Mitsuru wants. I wonder for how long did he thought Mitsuru is the Dominion ^^; Of course, that seems to have changed ever since he got his memory back. He doesn’t seem to be that timid unlike before. Hehe, he can even threaten to kill Mitsuru without fear of Mitsuru retaliating later on. ^^; As usual, Mutsuki looks absolutely gorgeous when he just got out of the coffin. I’m excited over chapter 29. *doki doki* Ya, there is no chapter 28 summary nor Chinese scanlation yet =( Anyway, there is a teaser of chapter 29 in 鏡花水月’s blog and the official webpage of Asuka where I got the pictures. Asuka’s cover is Anis x Kaede. Pretty. Then, there is a color spread of Queen Anis and her knights. To the story, it seems that they are going to a masquerade ball – inauguration party. Hehe, Seiran dresses up as a girl as Kaede’s date in order for Mikage not to take him away. ^^; Anis decides to go with Mikage since she cannot decide between the two. Hehe, it seems that Mutsuki refuses to go with Mitsuru. The Yellow Rose is back. Then, Anis seems to feel ill as she talks with Mutsuki. The jaw-dropping moment is Mutsuki KISSES Anis on the lips. [Thanks c0de_da1sy for the correction with the interchanged name.] Haha..looks like a stolen one =P The last scene is Idel pleading Anis for help regarding unconscious Yakoh in the rain. Somehow, I’m guessing that after the kiss, Anis ran away. ^^; So..will this author go for whoever kisses the girl first is ‘the one’? =P
