I finished watching Emma last night. I watched it with mom. Good thing that it was okay for my mom to see that ending – kind of open ended. ^^; The pacing of the anime is a bit slow but then, it is okay for before I know it, an episode has already ended. The manga haven’t ended yet. I kind of think that the anime is just a teaser and like, if you want to know what happened later on, buy and read the manga. It is indeed a nice Victorian romance. I’m a bit amused with how the artist draws the eyes of the characters as if a bit bored and droopy. Hehehe
In Condor Hero [ep. 47-48], Yin has finally confessed what he did to Gugu. He committed suicide to atone for his sins. Guo still accepted Gugu even after what happened just as Gugu accepted him even if he is missing an arm. They decided to get married in front of the portrait of the Taoist master. They kidnapped one of the Taoist head as witness. ^^; Zhao is angry at Guo for destroying his plans that he tried to kill them but he failed. Later on, he tried to use Gugu as hostage but Guo is too good for him that Zhao fell off the cliff. I hope that’s the last I see of that guy.
Then, playful guy came and somehow clarified to the others of Zhao’s treachery. For helping them escape, Gugu left a bottle of honey for him. Back at the Old Tomb, Guo found that Gugu is seriously wounded when she fought with the monk. I had a bad feeling that she will die but then, wasn’t Guo dying too. Anyway, they found a wedding dress of Gugu’s teacher and some notes on curing illnesses by laying down on a certain cold bed in the tomb. Meanwhile, Li heard from Guo’s aunt and Fu about Guo becoming really good at fight. Li thought that it was because of the manuals of her teacher. She heads off to Old Tomb. I somewhat felt Guo had child abuse the baby when he dived into the water to reach Old Tomb with it. I highly doubt that a baby would survive. Anyway, he plans to return the baby later on. Mmm..but then, that would mean another dive into the water. ^^;
In Gankutsuou [ep. 17], Albert learned that the Count has just used him and he was so angry that he challenged the Count to a duel. Albert then met with Franz who tried to dissuade him from the duel but Albert won’t listen. Later on, Franz met with Eugenie and asking her to give Albert a birthday card for it was Albert’s birthday the next day. That night, he and Albert had a pre-birthday party. Franz was awake when Albert is soundly asleep. I wonder if Franz is thinking of doing what I think he will do and that is to duel the Count instead of Albert. I get to know tonight.

I stayed overnight at sis’ house last Saturday. I set-up the torrents to download and started up the ones that I would want to get the next day. I surfed a bit and downloaded some manga, too. I learned that Gravitation has started again so much for ending at volume 12. The art has really changed and the plot seemed to be on this kid who was Yuki [tutor]’s son. Not that I’m surprised for the next step usually for gay couples is to have a kid in the house. There are a few scans in the net and I just glanced a bit.
The next day, niece and nephew also went to sis’ house for we are going to play a dice game in celebration of the Mooncake festival. At first, I didn’t want to go but then, thought about it that I got nothing to lose so why not. It has been a long time since I played. I went home a few bucks richer and got some of the anime that I downloaded. ^_^
We watched Devil Beside Me [tw drama] last night. It seemed that this is the second to the last episode. Next week, there is already a replacement so we have to remember to watch it at 9pm for at 10pm, the new one will start. The lead girl has to accept that her lover ‘would-be step brother’ is leaving for Italy to go with his mother who had left him before. The girl just consoled herself that the guy is a ‘devil’ so that is just his way. It is pretty weird that she even has the courage to smile, as he left for she was will not wait for him.
In D. Gray-man [chp. 61], Allen was thrilled that there is a way to get his innocence back. Bak then got kicked by the girl who saved Allen as she shouted Allen as an ingrate and escaping from the hospital. With all the shouting, Allen learned that Bak is the head of the Asian headquarters. He got introduced to the girl who is Fou while the older guy is Wong, Bak’s assistant. Allen thanked them for saving him. They brought him to some underground place and into a room filled with fog. Allen learned that the fog is his innocence. Bak told them that usually when the innocence is destroyed, it disappears but somehow, Allen’s did not. Bak and Komui thought that Allen must be special.
Then, three new lab recruits came. One of the them, a girl, had a love at first sight with Allen. The rabbit shooting at another is back again. The first time it appeared was when Rabi was smitten by the lady with Crowley. The three wanted to see the innocence in order to help in the future studies. Bak then asked Allen to invocate to get the innocence back to his arm. Allen tried and it started to form. After forming the shape, it suddenly changed back to fog. Everyone was surprised about it. Allen decided to try again and after an hour, the result is still the same. The others has started to form theories as to why as Allen still want to keep on trying. Mmm...it seemed that they gave Allen a haircut for it is quite short now than before.

So much for dusting, the dust have came back and my table looked as if it haven’t been dusted at all. ^^; A consequence is that my eyes are quite irritated lately. I wonder if it is because of the dust. My uncle from NY has arrived. We were supposed to pick him up but my other uncle volunteered. This morning, NY uncle called to ask where we are. We told him that the other uncle was the one who is going to pick him up. Anyway, I think my cousin did found him as he is already here. His two suitcases are still out there somewhere for they are not boarded to his plane. ^^; He will be staying here with us.
So much for the theory on the arowana, it just ate that foolish tetra that kept on swimming near the arowana. My tiger barbs, which were supposed to be with the arowana are getting bigger now. The medicine I bought for the fighting fish was useless for its stomach is still bloated. I did everything to make it smaller but it was no use. The huge flowerhorn still kept on shredding this mucus substances that is making it ill. Its up keeping is sure is expensive for we have to change 1/4 of the water to cure it.
Just as I thought, Guo kidnapped the baby because he got irritated when he saw Fu in Condor Hero [ep. 45-46] He heads back to find Gugu at the old tomb. Meanwhile, the Mongolians have invaded the Taoist temple. Zhao has blackmailed Yin to give him the position of being leader or else, he will reveal what Yin did to Gugu. Yin did and regretted it for Zhao has teamed up with the Mongolians. They were about to kill Yin when Gugu came, wanting to kill Yin. I don’t know why Zhao would feel threatened about it for he asked the Mongolians to attack Gugu. Somehow, Gugu managed to fight off the monk.
When Gugu saw that Yin and the others are escaping to free their elders, she went to chase them. When the elders were free, they all tried to team up to fight against Gugu. She was outnumbered so much for a duel. ^^; Guo came in time to save her from continue on falling down the stairs. As revenge, Guo single-handedly defeated all the Mongolians by slashing/destroying their weapons. He spared the monk as asked by the student for they wanted to punish the fan-wielding traitor who left them.
In Vampire Knight [chp. 9], the first page Kurosu principal meeting up with someone in a kimono, I assume that it is a woman. Pardon but I could quite make out what they are talking about except that the woman is asking about Zero and something regarding the night class. Meanwhile, in the bathroom, Yuuki tried to overcome her fear of vampires as she was being beaten by Zero then she was surprised that Zero has already withdrawn. Somehow Zero is feeling self-pity again as Yuuki told him to feel what he wants to feel – to hate her, vampires, etc. Zero told her that he can’t hate her and asked if she is okay. She said yes and it is good that she isn’t anemic. She told him to go to school tomorrow. On her way back, she met Kaname who, I think, must have figured out what she did for he saw the bandage on her neck. Yuuki hoped that he wouldn’t ask and he didn’t. He just hugged her and bid her good night.
After she left, Yagari, Zero’s sensei [thanks to Alya for the name] asked why Kaname is being nice to Yuuki. Yagari must have said something irritating and I think it somewhat relates to Zero that a leaf suddenly wounded Yagari’s hand as Kaname answered back something about Yuuki. At school, Yuuki was wondering why Zero haven’t came to school yet when she realized something and ran off to find Zero. She then saw him with Yagari. Yagari is again pointing a gun on Zero. She shouted and the gun went off. Zero had held the gun away from his head. Yagari gave Zero the gun and sermoned him a bit. I think it is something about checking Zero’s resolve to move on with his life as he told Zero not to escape again. Yagari then told Yuuki some things [the one I understood is that it is up to her to ‘care’ for Zero] and that he is busy so he is off. Yagari then told Zero that ‘that woman’ is still alive. Zero was surprised about it as Yuuki wondered who they are referring to. After he left, Yuuki told Zero that she thought that he had really died. Zero pats her head as he told her that he won’t run away anymore so she doesn’t have to cry anymore. Well, after mentioning that woman, it would seem that the principal knew the one who bit Zero for in the flashbacks, the woman vampire was wearing a kimono. I still wonder why she spared Zero and killed the others. Anyway, at least it is good to see Zero back, more or less, to his self than being suicidal. That is all thanks to his sensei.
From the two pics, it really does seem that Zero tends to treat Yuuki as a younger sister while Kaname is somewhat more romantic though I guess friends to hug each other but then, I don’t know if it is the same for same gender. Mm..I wonder where the story will be headed now.
In One Piece [chp. 382], the other straw hats are still busy charging. Meanwhile, Spandam is busy torturing Franky and Robin. Franky learned the reason why Iceberg helped the government. It was to make him too valuable to get killed off. Then, Robin was frustrated that Spandam planned to ‘get rid’ of the Straw hats for he only promised that they would be spared upon leaving water 7 and not when they are in Eneas Lobby. It just made Robin’s sacrifice for naught. Blueno has noticed that the telephone is off the hook after learning that the Straw hats are there. Spandam told the others to rest as they await their promotion. Lucci said he doesn’t care for rewards for he only wanted carnage. Luffy then thought that the last building was where Robin would be then he was surprised to see Blueno in front of him. Blueno told him that he knew that it is impossible for only to have 5 casualties. He asked Luffy how long does he plan to fight. Luffy answered, until death. I guess there might be a fight between those two in the next chapter.
While in Bleach [chp. 195], Urahara brought some juice for somewhat injured Yoruichi who thought that the allankars are quite powerful than she thought. I guess she was hurt from the impact of her kicks and punches at Yummy. At school, Inoue’s friend were surprised at the injuries of Inoue as she tried to pass it off as an accident – falling down the stairs. Ichigo felt guilty about it for it wouldn’t have happened if he was stronger. Then, there are some new students in school. It is the shinigamis and Ichigo were shocked to see them.
They were ordered to help the acting shinigami [Ichigo] to fight against the allankar. Ichigo asked them what it is. Someone from the window told him that they are the ones who beat him up the other day. Ichigo looks at the window and saw Rukia, greeting him. Well, this has really opened up many possibilities – many comedy possibilities like where would they all live. Would they live in Ichigo’s house? What would Ishida thought if he found the shinigamis he was told to avoid are in his school. And many others. Can’t wait for the next chapter. ^_^

After all the cleaning and somewhat wondering why mom doesn’t seem to be cleaning much last night, I learned today that my uncle is actually coming tomorrow and not today. ^^;; The computer technician finally came today to check on my bro’s extra computer which doesn’t shut down – the windows logo appears and is stuck there. It has been sent to repairs twice already and now, it seemed that the motherboard is broke. My bro is pretty irritated since they didn’t said that it was what is broke before and we had already bought a serial mouse for it. He planned to sell the computer off and with all the repairs, the profit is getting smaller.
The tetras left in the arowana tank are only 4 now. The last two days, the arowana had become accustomed to the super worms and were fed fat every night by bro. Well, the other tetra had finally realized that they may be eaten so they are good at hiding now except for one which would even swim near the arowana. The plants are dying though.
AXN’s Condor Hero [ep. 43-44] has almost caught up with the Taiwanese channel. Gugu finally showed her skills that she have as she escape the trap of the Mongolian priest. Yehey! She managed to use her brains to use the honey to attract the bees which stung the spiders as wells as the priest and Zhao, the ‘villian’ Taoist. She also ‘cured’ the playful guy by having the bees stung him. She applied the theory from Guo’s predicament that somehow a different poison can actually counter a poison that is how Guo survived Li’s poison but then, the flowers’ poison is still in his body. The playful guy left after stealing Gugu’s honey.
Meanwhile, Guo missed Gugu and decided to find her after learning new sword techniques from the condor. He told it that he would be back. On his way to the old tomb, Guo saw his aunt and Li having a duel for the baby. They stupidly left the baby on a tree stump so Guo went to check on it. He amusingly was amazed that Li really took care of the baby that she has grown fat. I’m guessing that after seeing Fu, his ‘cousin’ that he somewhat snapped and took the baby along with Fu’s horse. Was he thinking of compensation for his arm?
In Trinity Blood [ep. 18], Kafka, the kid vampire was provoked by this vampire with the procession that he attacked and loses. ^^; The vampire was about to kill him but hesitated and decided to capture him. Esther tried to save him but ended up getting capture, too. ^^;; Abel would have also jumped in the rescue if it haven’t been for Astharoth. Anyway, at the prison, the vampire had fun angering Kafka and it was revealed that Dietrich is somewhat controlling this vampire. Kafka wanted a piece of him but ended up being shot. It seemed that whatever that was used can cause great pain to a vampire as Kafka is really suffering and asked Esther to kill him. The vampire tossed in a knife for Esther and left. In some underground water tunnel, Abel and Astharoth are probably going to rescue the two. Astharoth stayed behind to fight off the enemies while Abel goes on ahead. Hopefully, Astharoth won’t destroy the place, causing it to collapse for she can cause real destruction with that staff of hers as evident in the past episodes. Too bad this series doesn’t have previews for the next episode.
I have already downloaded Vampire Knight last night and the fonts used are really hard to read. I’m somewhat at a loss whether to read it horizontally or vertically. ^^; And it is still in simplified Chinese. The scanner must have gotten lazy that it is still in its original form – color red/pink instead of black and white. Anyway, I will try to decipher it but it seemed to be a turning point for Zero.

I had asked sis to come here today to help at the store since my mom is going out and my dad is still recovering from his cold. It turned out that it wasn’t needed because my mom ended up not going out. ^^; It has been raining all day today. I like this kind of weather because it is cool but then, rain would mean few customers.
Guo has began training with the condor in Condor Hero [ep. 41-42]. I feel like laughing when the condor is bullying him. ^^; I somewhat think that he should be dead by now. I have lost track of time if his time is up but obviously it is not. Anyway, I do hope that he get to find some cure for the poison. Elsewhere, Gugu has been stalking the Taoists as she tries to find the right time for revenge. The Taoists has teamed up with the Mongols. Just when she is about to get back at the ‘villain’ Taoist, the tables are turned as evident in the next preview.
In Fullmetal Panic! TSR [ep. 8], Sousuke returned to headquarters. Tessa told him the reasons why he was pulled out of the mission. Then, together with Kurz had a bit of drink at a bar and met with Clouzot who had fought with Kurz. The friend was outmatched. There is also a battle practice with Clouzot, Sousuke was also outmatched and ended up in the hospital. Meanwhile, the crazy guy met up with long silver/white haired guy then one of the Chinese twins got contacted. I’m amused with myself that I still continue to watch even if I don’t quite understand much what is happening. I have downloaded the novels but I haven’t read them yet in fear of being spoiled. Maybe after...later on, I’ll download the subs too. The subber that I like has temporarily stop subbing though.

We are currently cleaning the house since my uncle from NY would be coming to stay with us. It seemed that he wanted to live with us than the other relatives. The house is still in a bit of a mess and there is dust all over. It seemed that all these things wouldn’t clear up even if I kept on cleaning it up. My uncle will be coming this Friday and I think around two months after, his wife will follow. Meanwhile, the tv is now fixed. Just in time for Fullmetal Panic TSR tonight. ^_^
In Condor Hero [ep. 39-40], Guo just got his arm cut off by his ‘cousin’ who was infatuated with him. I guess Guo is partly to blame when he lost his temper when the ‘cousin’ told him about Dragon lady’s secret. Anyway, Guo ran away and met up with his friend, the Condor bird who nursed him back to health. I somewhat feel sorry for Guo who can only related to Gugu, Dragon lady and a giant bird. ^^; Guo was a bit suicidal but the condor snapped him out of it. In the next episode, it seemed that the condor is now going to teach him some martial arts – well, indirectly that is. The condor’s former owner was a great swordsman who has so good that no one could challenge him. He died already and like Guo, seemed to be friendless for his friend is only the condor who buried him.
Meanwhile, Gugu is back to her old ways of fleeing at the slightest problem after learning the truth who stole her virginity. The one who did it tried to make amends but Gugu is too angry to even listen to him. The other Taoist, the ambitious one, convinced him to get rid of Gugu so that his crime would not be known by their sect. They obviously forgot that Guo’s ‘cousin’ have also heard about it. They had team up with the Mongolians to have an advantage over Gugu. Back at Guo’s uncle’s house, the uncle was furious with his daughter over what she did but then the daughter is fiercely unapologetic as she put all the blame on Guo. The aunt who told her daughter to go away so that the uncle can’t cut her daughter’s arm as retribution for Guo. I guess those two families would be at odds again though Guo is pretty forgiving so I doubt Guo would want revenge. I’m thinking that the uncle is angry aside from treating Guo as his son was that Guo is actually a good fighter against the Mongols and after what his daughter did, he must have assumed that one-armed Guo wouldn’t be as good as before. And yes, they would seem ungrateful after all the things Guo has did for them – saving their family.
InGankutsuou [ep. 15-16], Haydee told the people the truth about what Albert’s father did to her family. Albert’s father’s reputation is pretty much down the drain for they have no proof to discredit Haydee. The count then sends Albert back to earth after telling him the story about this sailor whose fiancée was taken away from him by his best friend. Then, on Earth, Albert tried to talk to his father regarding the incident but his father won’t see him. Albert still believed his father but his friends and mother pretty much confirmed that everything what Haydee said is the truth. Furious over it, Albert tried to see Haydee only to learn that she isn’t there anymore. He ran to the airport to see her and just then, the count’s ship has also arrived. Meanwhile, Franz has realized that Edmond is still alive when he was looking at pictures of some crew of Maximillian’s father’s ship. He hurries back to tell Albert what he learned as he hopes that he isn’t too late. I wonder if in the next episode, the count would drop the bomb on Albert regarding the truth. Poor guy, I wonder if he would be scarred after all of this.
I had gotten somewhat bored with Juuni Kokki so I don’t think I’ll blog it unless something good happens. So far, they are explaining things again on how kirins/unicorns came to be and how they chose the emperors/empress of different kingdoms. I have gotten lost with the different jargons they use for different kinds of people, objects and places.
In Fullmetal Alchemist [chp. 50-51], Edward tried to punch Envy for implying about his shortness. Envy then told Gluttony to eat Ling but not the Elric brothers. They then devised a plan of Ling fighting Envy while the Elric brothers fights Gluttony. Ling was about to finish off Envy but Envy changed into Lan Fan that made Ling stopped. Gluttony was about to use this opportunity to swallow Ling but Edward jumped in to save Ling. In turn, Envy tried to rescue Edward and all three ended up being swallowed, including a part of Al’s arm. Al tried to get Gluttony to spit them out but it said that once swallow, it can’t be expelled out anymore. Meanwhile, Roy went to headquarters and tried to create confusion about the president being a homoculus but it backfired when it turned out that all the head of the military already knew this and Bradley was actually there. Roy realized what Hughes meant about the military is danger which actually meant it is the military that is actually dangerous.
In Gluttony’s stomach, Edward is roaming around and found Ling and together, they tried to find an exit but there was none. They were pretty exhausted from walking that they rested a bit and was found by Envy. Envy told them that there is no way out for Gluttony is a fake gates of truth which their father tried to make. Then they realized that Bradley isn’t the ‘father’. Envy then tried to gloat about starting the Ishval war and it made Edward mad that he tried to fight Envy. Envy got angry and transformed to his real form – a huge lizard like monster with different monsters/forms at its side. Envy thrashed Ling and Edward. Outside, Al has already calmed down and decided to go with Gluttony to find its father to find a way to get Edward out. Hoho..wonder what his reaction will be when he realized who it is. Elsewhere, Scar learned of May’s background and decided to help her find Xiao May, the panda with Al.

Bro’s experiment of combining the arowana and small tetra fishes was a failure. There was a site saying that it can be done depending on the arowana’s temperament and feeding style. Obviously for this one, it doesn’t apply. The tetras are getting fewer by the day and they are pretty hard to catch so we couldn’t save them.
Last Saturday, nephew and niece stayed at our house. Then, we went out last Sunday. I bought a couple of Peanuts books even though they are a tad expensive. ^^; My nephew is so fond of Star Wars that he asked my mom to buy him this Star Wars 3 book. I took a peek and it turned out to be artist renditions of the different settings. It looked cool. ^_^
In Condor Hero [ep.35-38], Guo had a hard time convincing Li/Bak Shu, Dragon lady’s ‘sister’ that the baby isn’t his. They have to somewhat teamwork in finding some milk for the baby. Guo is pretty amused at how good Li is at babysitting. Then, along the way, he got to meet with a huge condor and somewhat bonded with it. Later on, Guo found the two brothers fighting over his uncle’s daughter. The two tried to fight Guo and then they all tried to get the baby but failed. Guo being a goody-two-shoes, have to even save those two by sucking up the poison they got from Li’s needles. Somehow he recovered from it but was told to forget Dragon Lady if he wanted to live long because the love-not flower’s poison is pretty potent. Around this time, the uncle’s daughter is again trying to convince Dragon lady about giving up Guo when they heard the Taoists talking about one of them who take advantage of her paralysis. Boy, that was such a shock for she assumed that it was Guo. I guess that is another reason for them to separate. I’m beginning to think that this is somewhat like Fushigi Yuugi. ^^;;
Anyway, at the end of episode 36, the narrator said that Guo had to experience many more hardships before he would become the Condor Hero. I can somewhat feel sorry for Guo for in the future episodes in the Taiwanese channel, he seem to be missing an arm. I wonder how he is going to fight now, with only one arm by then. =(
In D. Gray-man [chp. 60], Allen was at a loss as to what to do next. Bak chan, the head of the Asia headquarters told him that he could have a clerical job but Allen refused for he wanted to fight as an exorcist. Seeing his resolve, Bak told him that there is a way to restore his innocence. They just want to make sure he has enough will to become an exorcist so that there won’t be another Soman case.
While in Bleach [chp. 194], Yammy was easily defeated by Yoruichi as she went to give some medicine for Inoue who was really beaten up by Yammy. Yammy tried a beam attack but Urahara deflected it. Urahara tried to attack but it was deflected by Urquiola. They then head back as Urquiola decided that Ichigo isn’t a threat as Aizen presumed for Ichigo was easily defeated. Ichigo’s face wasn’t shown. It is another defeat for Ichigo.
In One Piece [chp. 381], the marines tried to fire at Rocketman. It caused an explosion that Sogeking’s mask had fallen off. I’m not sure if Chopper actually saw it was Usopp or not. I tend to think not though. Then, the train woman, girl and rabbit tried to stall the marines not to fire for they are civilians. I forgot their names. Nami then makes her entrance using her new weapon, which turned out to be too powerful that she basically fried all the marines as well as Zoro and Sanji. ^^;; Then, they saw some fighting at a nearby building and realized it was Luffy. Paulie told them to ride on the huge yagara bulls to charge ahead for they aren’t supposed to be wasting time there. As they charge, half of the men after Luffy went to stop the others from entering. Paulie then told Zoro to tell Lucci and others that they are fired when they meet them. Paulie then dismount, as he and the others will try to stop the marines from chasing them.

I watched Honey & Clover [ep. 16-17] yesterday. It is still as funny and nice as ever. Mayama finally went back to Rika in helping her out rather than just being a stalker. ^^; It pretty much shocked Yamada for it pretty much destroyed the possibility of her being with Mayama. She also got a chance to actually feel how Mayama felt when she confessed her love to him when her childhood friends tried to propose to her. Shuuji, their sensei told her to turn them down if she doesn’t want them courting her and there are two choices for them, much like her, to give up or keep trying. At the end, Shuuji told himself that there is actually a third choice but he didn’t tell it to Yamada. I’m assuming it is just to be ‘stagnant’ and be just be there for him/her.
The next episode is another Christmas and this time, Mayama and Morita aren’t there. Shuuji just made the others drunk to enjoy it and he got cracked bones playing color twister. The rest of the episode is about Takemoto who had realized that he had lost direction and doesn’t seem to know what to do upon graduating. He then suffered a stomach ulcer that got him hospitalized. With consent from his mom and step-father, he got to stay at school to decide what he would do in the future while doing his graduate thesis. Takemoto was about to confess to Hagu but they got interrupted by Shuuji who escaped from Mayama and Yamada. He is still quite protective of Hagu. ^^; The ending scene is pretty funny as they watched an award show for best special effects for a movie. The movie has a couple of rats that looked a bit like Hagu, much to her dismay. When the creator was about to receive the award, they were all shocked and shouted in shock. Their faces are priceless and obviously, it is Morita who created the cg effects. Next episode, he will be back and probably get to graduate along with Takemoto and Hagu.
Bak Shu, Dragon lady’s ‘sister’ in Condor Hero has a tendency to misunderstand things between Dragon lady and Guo. Before, she thought that Dragon lady had sex with Guo and now, she thought that they have a baby. Geez, can’t she get her facts straight. The baby was actually from Guo’s aunt. Dragon lady tried to make it as exchange for Guo’s life from the hag but of course, Guo refused. The baby ended up getting kidnapped by that two wheel-wielding monk as bait for the uncle to fight him. As usual, when Guo has gone elsewhere and leaving the women who like him behind carelessly, an enemy would appear to ‘fight’ or ‘kidnap’ that woman. ^^; It seemed that there is a third season for this, according to a site. I wonder if they are finished with it. The writer wrote that the dub is Cantonese. I wonder if there is indeed a Cantonese version for the one shown in AXN is in Mandarin. Mm..I can’t really say if HK tv shows are in Cantonese dub for Taiwanese shows tend to be in Mandarin though there are some occasions when they use Fookien.
Sugimoto is getting to be irritating when she kept on insisting that she should be the ‘chosen one’ in Juuni Kokki [ep.9] She is still following Yuko and get the shock of her life when she learned that Yoko will become an Empress that she has to quickly tell the parrot = emperor of whatever country they got to before. Meanwhile, Yoko did learned of her lineage that she wasn’t human in the first place but from that world. When her mouse friend and another guy learned that a kirin has brought her there, that is when they realized that she is indeed the new empress that the heavens had brought. Interestingly, the children in this world came from trees. They would tie a bow on a branch of fruit then if the fruit becomes an egg or becomes ripe, the wish for a baby is granted. I’m not quite sure how Yoko got into the Earth though..they say something about if it is abandoned, maybe it gets sent to earth. Anyway, monsters attacked her as send by the emperor who was tipped by Sugimoto. She was outnumbered and fortunately, a guy helped her out and introduced himself as the emperor of EN.
In Skip Beat [chp. 73], Ren is still acting superbly as someone who can’t show his feelings to another girl. Itsumi was shocked over what Ren said about hating her. There was a silence as Ren acted as if he wanted to comfort her but hesitated and decided to tell her that it was just a joke. Itsumi tried to be stubborn about it that she didn’t act according to the script. Instead of just telling Ren that her finger is okay, she decided to play a piano piece, the only one she knows. While playing, she wonders about the awkward silence that she glimpse at Ren to find him smiling at her. She blushed as Yashiro who was taping the scene thought that no girl can stand that smile of Ren. It is just practice so the film crew doesn’t have to tape it. Yashiro thought that Ren is actually pretending that Itsumi is Kyouko. Meanwhile, Kyouko’s little demons are getting ‘killed’ by the light from Ren’s smile. Kyouko then wondered why Ren is doing that to Itsumi when Ren tends to smile like that to her. Then, she began to realize the possibility that Ren could be feeling the same way with her.
Ren then called out to Itsumi’s character and Itsumi instinctly replied much to her dismay to keep silent throughout the practice. Ren then told her that it has been a long time since she played so he asked her to play any piece that she wants. Itsumi was horrified for she can’t play any piece except the one she has already played. She wonders if Ren is trying to put her on the spot as his revenge for being uncooperative. The next chapter would be delayed since Nakamura went on a break. Chinese scans are coming out late too. Anyway, it is nice that Nakamura isn’t going to drag the story on how clueless Kyouko can be regarding Ren’s feelings for her. It would be fun if she actually realized it during the test and knowing her, she could pretty much freak out and cause a scene. Ya..that would be fun. ^_^

I’m currently trying to watch all the anime that I had downloaded courtesy of bro-in-law. My harddisk are getting full already. I need to delete the ones that I don’t want to watch again and burn into cd those that I like.
As expected in Condor Hero, Guo’s father’s death was unintentionally killed. It turned out that his father is not a hero but a traitor for trying to make to allies into enemies to protect the kingdom his father had grown up. He had touched the aunt’s poisonous armor and died from it. Because of circumstances, they weren’t able to bury the body immediately. The ally of the father, the brother of the hag had abandoned him when they lost. Because of this, Guo had finally decided not to kill his uncle. He ended up helping to save him from the five Mongol warriors who are out to kill the uncle.
In Juuni Kokki, Yoko has pretty much changed from wimp to someone with spine. The old man who kept taunting her to become evil turned out to be just the scabbard of her sword as she resolve to do good and won’t be paranoid about people who might be trying to trick/lie to her. She was told to go to the country of N where people like her and animal-type people can live peacefully. There she met a transformed Sugimoto. It seemed that the being put in them that enable them to fight changes the form of the host. When Sugimoto’s thingie got zapped by some sea dragon, her form became was it was before. I think she will settle down in N, too.
The theory of the people there was that their god is angry at the emperor so there are famine, strange monsters and diseases. If Yoko is the chosen one, I guess the emperor felt threatened and wanted to kill her off. It somewhat reminded me of Saul and David in the Bible. I’m still a bit confused with the names of the country and such. Maybe it would have helped if I know the old names for places in China. ^^;;
Another magatama was found by Hikaru’s group in Otogi Zoshi [ep. 5-6]. The episodes inserted a love story about a village girl and one of the pirates. They thought that the pirates are the bad guys. It turned out that it was the villages. The last scene, they were shipwrecked when there was a huge tidal wave/tsunami after the magatama left the place. It can be assumed that the magatama isn’t really stolen by different groups but could have been brought there deliberately and instead of supposedly bringing peace. It has brought war and brutality to the places where it has been taken.

I decided to download the last few volumes of manga that I didn’t buy of the manga that I do have. I have finished downloading all the volumes of Yorozuya Toukaidou Honpo. The last three volumes pretty much resolved the split personality problem of the lead. I’m planning to get Count Cain next.
Last Sunday, my mom was watching this Taiwanese drama to pass her time. I have seen this title before ‘Devil Beside Me’ and I had assumed that it is some sort of ghost story type Taiwanese drama. In that episode, there was a mention of incest. I suddenly thought that this could be just a Taiwanese story especially when the preview for the next episode has a kendo scene. It was only yesterday when I researched about it and my hunch was right. It is based on a manga called Akuma de Sourou. A girl wanted to give a love letter to the boy she likes but ended up giving it to a known ‘bad boy’ in their school. To her surprise, her mom plans to marry again and it is to the principal. That principal has a son and it is the ‘bad boy’. Obviously, from the episode my mom watched, the two ended up together hence the ‘incest’. It is around 10+ episode already so I guess I really missed a lot of happenings. ^^; The manga art looked well though especially the outfits that the author dressed her characters with based on the covers.
Guo is pretty amusing in yesterday’s episodes of Condor Hero. He is pretty much perplexed whether to kill his uncle or not. He wanted to so that it would secure the longevity of his life to be with Dragon lady but then, if he killed him, their country would lose a hero and he could be indirectly be the cause of the deaths of thousands of innocent people who were depending on his uncle. It was a bit funny when he was almost caught trying to kill his uncle that he had an anxiety attack. ^^;; His uncle even helped him overcome it. In return, he saved his uncle from getting killed by the Mongols. Unfortunately for him, it just made the uncle’s daughter fall for him again that made her two suitors jealous. The daughter taunted them to kill Genghis Khan to end the war. Those stupid brothers did go to the Mongol camp and tried to kill Khan. From the next episode, Guo would be saving those two, together with his uncle. Guess it is another opportunity for him to kill his uncle.
There was a scene here that pretty much reminded the audience of Guo and Dragon lady’s age gap. Guo went to Dragon lady who was musing near a bridge and he have to make childish hero poses to her. ^^;; I just realized why didn’t Guo and Dragon lady just grabbed that pill from the hag. It would pretty much saved them from all this trouble but I guess Guo is being principled. But still, they could have done it for the hag is pretty much useless. Also, it is indeed hinted that there is more to the murder of Guo’s father than the hag is saying. There could be a different reason as to why the uncle and aunt killed his father.
In Gankutsuou [ep. 14], the Count ended up being shot and the prosecutor being jailed. The Count’s henchmen using his ‘hand’ took out the bullet. Albert then met with Maximillian. Maximillian told him that he would take Valentine’s grandfather to be with Valentine. Then, a reporter friend of Albert got inside info about Albert’s father. He tried to get confirmation from Albert but it turned out that Albert doesn’t know a thing. Albert became alarmed when he learned that the reporter was tipped off by the small guy. While walking around, Albert got another shock of his life when he learned that Eugenie will be engaged to Andre. He couldn’t get comfort from Franz who wanted to go the moon for something and won’t bring Albert along. Albert then met with the Count who invited him for his trip. Albert was a bit reluctant to go but with the Count’s prodding, he went along. Meanwhile, Albert’s father was going to be elected to a position. I’m not sure if he won. Haydee then prepares to go there. I guess she will try to destroy Albert’s father’s reputation in front of everyone.

I have to watch the rerun of Condor Hero this morning because yesterday, the channel forgot to put on the subtitles. But then, everything is pretty much as I understood it for the dub is in Chinese. Though some things are indeed clarified. On their way back, they were called back by the old hag. She changed her proposition from marrying her daughter to helping her get her revenge in exchange for the pill. It is revenge against Guo’s uncle and aunt. At first, he won’t do it until the hag told him that they were the ones who killed his father. The hag then only gave him half the pill. The poison will stop spreading which will prevent the pain but will get him killed half the time. ^^; That hag really has no gratitude. Doesn’t she think that if it weren’t for Guo she would have died miserably in that hole? Currently, his uncle and aunt are holding up in Xiang Jiang against the Mongols. Guo and Dragon lady spied a bit on the Mongol camp and got chased to the fortress where his uncle and aunt were. In the next episode, it reminds to be seen if he will get his revenge. I’m still somehow thinking there is more to his father’s death than the hag was saying.
InGankutsuou [ep. 13], the prosecutor had backed down on his arrest when the count hinted of the stories that his wife has told him. Then, he learned that he got suspended. He was very angry about it and made him quite vengeful. His wife has already reverted to her childhood state and together with her son, are taken care of by the Count. Meanwhile, Franz has gone to investigate with Lucien about the master of the cave. They managed to get a bit of info but was forced to quit when they asked for the name. Elsewhere, the financier has been setting up Eugenie with Andre. The Count planned to bankrupt him when he invested a lot of his money. Later on, Albert wanted to visit the Count to warn him about the prosecutor then he got to know of Haydee’s past. It was about her father being framed and they were forced to poverty by a certain person. Obviously, it was Albert’s father who seemed to be quite edgy lately regarding elections. After he left, Andre started to agitate Haydee about hating Albert but it was stopped by the Count. The prosecutor came and tried to kill the Count and Albert intervened. I doubt Albert would get killed since he is unhurt in the next preview.
Today could be the last day for Congress in deciding whether to push forward the impeachment of the president. I think it will not push through since the majority is for the president. Some sectors plan to do it again at the streets but then, the success for that is also low for people are already tired. They have begun to think that whoever you put there, it is still the same just as what had happened in the last two grand street protests that ousted two presidents. Oil prices are still rising especially because of the hurricane in the US. Here, it would be much higher since they just added tax to the prices of not only oil but also electricity. It will be a matter of time before everything else will also have a price increase.

The first season of Condor Hero has ended last Friday. It was left hanging. At the end, they managed to defeat that evil king who wanted Dragon Lady for his wife at the expense of Gung whom he poisoned and planned to kill. With the help of the king’s ex-wife, they managed to defeat him after he accidentally exposed his weak point. He has fallen to his death. The ungrateful ex-wife even tried to blackmail Gung into marrying her daughter. Good for Gung to tell to them keep the pill for themselves for he and his beloved will be going back home. It ended there with Gung’s fate left hanging if he would die or not. Fortunately, that channel will be showing season two tomorrow to continue the story as to what had happened. Hopefully, the ending won’t be left hanging too.
Oh yeah, wowow has pre-empted Full Metal Panic! TSR, Trinity Blood and Shuffle! for two weeks to make way for the US Open. I don’t think I would blog about the latter two series. I don’t get what is happening in Trinity Blood anymore since there are lots of dialogues and not much action. Shuffle! is pretty much the typical boy with a female harem and each episode has one girl in focus.
In One Piece [chp. 380],the three-headed judge told the marines to put 100 men to guard the 3rd gate. Meanwhile, the shipwrights and family tried to down the other giant. Paulie tied up the giant and the others pulled him down that made them able to open the 2nd gate. There was some reinforcement from a group riding on wolves/dogs. One of them hit the giant and the giant is standing again. Meanwhile, Zoro and the others are preparing for their entry but found that the 1st gate was closed again. The frog then bends the fence and Rocketman just flew over the gate, using the fence as a ramp, and made the giant its landing pad. ^^;; The marines were shocked as well as their companions for it made all their hard work of opening the gates useless. Everyone waited for the others to come out of Rocketman. From behind the marines, a group of them fell down. It was Zoro and Sanji who defeated them. The Frankies and others were cheering for them while Sogeking faints from shock and Chopper freaking out. Hehehe
While in Bleach [chp. 193], Ichigo has already released his ban kai as Inoue found it a bit different from before. Urquiola confirmed to Yammy that it is indeed Ichigo whom they are looking for. Ichigo attacked first by chopping off Yammy’s right arm as payment for what he did to Sado. Urquiola wanted to intervene but was told off by Yammy that he could finish Ichigo off. It turned out that they were ordered by Aizen to finish off Ichigo. When Ichigo noticed that they also have zanpaku swords and wondered if they are with Shinji, his hollow suddenly went surged forward. While Ichigo tried to control it from possessing him, Yammy took the opportunity to beat Ichigo up. Inoue tried to intervene but ended up being hit away by Yammy. Urquiola just watches as he wonders that there is something different about Ichigo for his wave changes from very weak to super strong that is even above his level. Yammy was about to hit Ichigo with the final blow when Urahara and Yoruichi came to save him. Yammy laments that every time he is about to swat one, many more comes. I wonder if Urahara will show his abilities next chapter.
By the way, this chapter has a couple of colored pages. One of them is for fanboys with most of the female cast in swimsuits. It reminded me of the Clamp poster before. Unfortunately, the boys part is just a bit ordinary. So, the overall battle will be with four groups – Allankar w/ Aizen, Vizored people, Soul Society and Urahara & others.

The channel which was showing Loki before has came back. Unfortunately, Mythical detective Loki has already finished its run and replaced by what I think is Polyanna. It is also showing Pita Ten and D.C. Capo. I must say that Pita Ten is pretty cute but then the target audience seems to be elementary students. I don’t follow it though for I haven’t watched the start and nothing much to make me want to watch it continuously.
The other night, we watched another Korean movie, My Boyfriend is Type B. Obviously, it is about blood types. It was believed that certain blood types has certain type of characteristics that some people would base choosing one’s mate according to the blood type. In this story, a girl found her ‘destiny’ guy who is type B blood. Her sister kept on telling her that he isn’t the right guy for her since she had suffered many break-ups with type-B guys. In the end, the sis turned out to be right for the guy is a jerk for trying to pay off his debts by having the girl date with his friend and for seemingly to be using her for he is always broke. The girl broke up with him.
The end is hastily ended when the girl saw a website of the guy asking for forgiveness then she learned that he got money from the site. The guy ran after her and sat on the bus with her as she wondered if she ought to forgive the guy. Then, a scene with the sis finding a new lover, a type O as she exclaimed that in love blood types aren’t important and it ended with a scene with the two lovers together at an amusement park which seemed to be the setting of Stairway to Heaven.
The two leads are the same as in leads in Sweet 18. They are a good combination and one can really understand why she have a hard time breaking up with him even if he seemed to be using her only and tend to want to break up because of petty reasons. The guy even have the gall to blame her when she failed in her exams when it was he who asked her to fixed dinner for him and his father and even to live in her house. Oh ya, the reason was that the guy can be pretty romantic and help her at times like getting back at the teacher who insulted her. The ending really feels rushed since the guy doesn’t seem repentant over what he did or doesn’t seem to have changed. They just showed that they are a couple again. It is pretty much like the ending of Full House. Anyway, it is indeed better than the last one.
I watched a bit with mom Loveaholic, a Korean drama. I wasn’t able to stand the Chinese dub, which really grates on my ears with that heavy accent. The story is about this new teacher who wanted to help this troubled handsome high school boy. It does seem that she is making the boy fall for her. I mean how many teachers would play with a high schooler in snow and follow him around. She even rents at his house. Obviously, the boy would fall for her.
I then asked mom what happened next since I quit watching. She said that one time, the boy is fighting with another person and the teacher got involved. The other person was accidentally killed when pushed over the building. The boy told the court he did it and was sentenced for 7 years. And since my mom had already watched the ending and skipped the middle parts, which she will watch again, she told me at the end, the teacher ended up with the boy and ditched her fiancé. And it turned out that it was the teacher who really had pushed the other person down. She served a year sentence for it when she confessed that it was really her. I really don’t like that character. Why didn’t she tell the court about it in the first place rather than to have ruined the boy’s life when he got in jail for something he didn’t commit? I guess they would have to live in some secluded place or province for the boy was having problems getting a job since he was an ‘ex-con’. Mm, in the end, I really don’t like the teacher for what she did.
Edit: Mom made a mistake. The teacher didn't know that she was the one who actually pushed the other person to his death. Weird..in an incident like that, she can't remember. ^^;; Guess my dislike for her lessen a bit.
I got to watch Otogi Zoshi [ep. 3-4] that I recorded last night. Hikaru with others managed to get the magatama back from the group who stole it. She rushed it to her brother to save him but she was too late. He had already passed away. While mourning, she met entertainer-knows-martial-arts Manzai who managed to cheer her up and make want to go on with her life. Then, Hikaru, posing as her brother, Reiku, went to the capital with the magatama only to know that there are two more missing and she was tasked to find the other two. Hence, her adventures continue for the other two as they got a new female companion. This is a pretty interesting anime though I tend to get lost with the political intrigues in the capital.

I thought my net was malfunctioning again when this 1-hour/mo. isp doesn’t want to accept my connection and I realized that my bro mistakenly used it. Good thing that it had cut the connection off or else, I would have paid more than I had used. I removed the icon from the desktop so that it won’t happen again. Then, suddenly the other isp is acting up and doesn’t want to connect me even if I had just connected a few minutes ago. ^^; There is still available load and I’m getting paranoid. I ended up using a new username and will get back to it today, maybe it was a computer glitch. If I recall, it seemed to have happened before.
Then, while getting ready to watch Otogi Zoshi last night, the tv went black again. It has been doing it a bit frequently lately which means that we ought to get it fix already. I got desperate that I tried to change the cable to the other tv. The cable was stuck that I pulled it, unknowingly, I had just snapped the cable connector. I thought that the cable signal here is dead but I checked outside to see if the neighbors still have theirs. They do so I realized that I was the one who destroyed it. ^^;; Good thing bro was here to fix it up but then, the tv went black again and I give up for the show is pretty much over by then. I had just recorded the rerun in the early morning since I somewhat doubt that there is a rerun in the morning.
I ended up watching Everyone Has Secrets, a Korean movie, with mom. The cover and pictures are nice. I even know the two leads but then, the plot is really bad. A guy came into this family. He had sex with the three girls and helped the younger brother get it with his gf. In the end, the girls realized that they really ‘love’ their present lovers and went back to them. The lead is all smiling as he said that he just made them more happier since they all know have secrets. Okay, I don’t get it. What’s the point of the story? Having secret affairs or one nightstand can actually make one’s love life more appreciated? ^^;
Juuni Kokki is progressing ever so slowly. Yoko and others were held captive in the new world. Yoko was said to have a different face. I can’t distinguish it. ^^;; For some mysterious reason, she can understand the new world’s language while her two classmates do not. Then, they managed to be free when some wolves attacked them. They were then lead by this old woman to some place but Yoko got lost.
While in Legend of the Condor Hero, Lao Gung is getting hints on his father’s death and had some problems with Dragon lady whom he is searching for the second time now. He finally found her but she was engaged to some other mean guy who doesn’t want to break off the engagement. I have a feeling that his ‘uncle’ and ‘aunt’ were the ones who murdered his father. The love story somewhat reminded me of Fushigi Yuugi’s couple of Miaka and Tamahome. ^^;; They get together then separate over something then get together then separate. The cycle continues.
In D. Gray-man [chp. 58-59], Miranda using her clock innocence which was changed into a disc, made the wrecked ship brand new again. Everyone was shock and Miranda thought that they disapprove that she jumped into the sea. ^^; I guess she hasn’t changed. Everyone got new uniforms since their old ones were destroyed in the fight. Rabi looks nice as ever though he is now in pants and removed his headband. ^_^ Bookman told Miranda that Rinali is still shocked over what had happened that made Rabi shout at her to get it over already. Rinali then cried that Bookman started strangling Rabi as punishment. Bookman told him that as successor of the Bookman, he should only be observing history and not get involved with what’s happening in order to be unbiased. Rabi apologized but got smacked again when he called Bookman, Panda. Hehehe Bookman told Rabi that he doesn’t think that Allen will die since he was prophesized to be the Destroyer of Time. That time could mean the Millenium Count.
Outside the ship, two people were talking about how the disc clock managed to make the ship as it was before. Their talk was interrupted when they heard a large crash. The bigger guy noticed the broken window. Bookman and Crowley pointed out that it was Rabi who did it so Rabi had to apologize repeatedly or else, he would be beaten. Rabi went to Miranda who fixed it with her clock. Miranda told the others that she can synchronize something back to its formal state but then, if she stopped, it will go back to its original state but she can’t make dead people alive. Bookman asked wouldn’t she need to rest if she has to keep synchronizing until they arrive. Miranda just told them that it is her talent to not sleep for at least 10 days for she used to do it before. The reason was she kept worrying so she can’t sleep. The others wondered if that is really okay.
In some other world, chibi ghostly Allen wondered if he is dead. He wondered why the moon looked black on the water so he bends down to look at it. He saw some ruins with Rinali crying on top of one of the debris. It is much like what Rinali dreamt before. Allen wondered if there was a war because of the destruction. Allen wanted to reach out to Rinali then from the waters, a dark colored hand grabbed him telling him, “Don’t”. Then, Allen saw that the waters are being covered so he tried to break loose to get to Rinali. From the waters, he saw a figure, smiling at him, telling again “Don’t”. Allen wondered who it was then Allen woke up. He heard someone talking to the phone regarding his situation. It was something about his heart being repaired by the remnants of his innocence. Then, Allen realized that he is still alive.

I had a bit of a dizzy spell yesterday morning. I haven’t felt that in such a long time and that usually happens when I’m low in blood. I had to lie down for standing up can make everything white. I got sis to inject me for we thought that we could delay it for a week. I guess it turned out not. My bro teases that I’m like a vampire/drug addict. ^^;; Well, nothing I can do about that. Low blood has started ever since I got the kidney transplant. I now have tired spells. ^^; So, I have to take short periods of rest.
Juuni Kokki was shown yesterday on local tv. I would just bare the dub and those ads for cellphone logos they put on the screen that makes the screen only 3/4 in size. It is pretty much like Bloomberg channel. I’m watching this for the reviews of great character development of the main character, Yoko Nakajima. The first episode is quite slow as if nothing much is happening until the near end. She is the class president, who tends to be back talked by the other students. Until one day, a mysterious guy claimed that she is his master and gave her a sword to fight a monster bird, which is after her.
She is pretty much pathetic while the other girl, Suzu, who is quite an eager beaver wanted to be the chosen one. Then, there is the other student, Shoukei, whom Yoko had a crush on but she found him with Suzu. Then, the last scene, Yoko found herself being brought to a new world. There was a hint about why Yoko’s hair is reddish. It reminded me of Ichigo whose hair is orange which is suppose to be abnormal for it is his natural hair color. I guess natural different color hair means one is special. Hehehe Somehow the two girl leads reminded me of Momo and Sae in Peach girl. ^^;;
Speaking of Ichigo, in Bleach [chp. 191-192], Ichigo denies that he is a shinigami but ended up convincing Karin that it is true when he has to go become Shinigami after feeling the presence of the two new comers, Allankar [hollow-shinigami hybrids]. The huge one, Yammy sucked the souls of the nearby people as the short one, Urquiola told him that he shouldn’t do that and that they are only after one person. Yammy noticed that Tatsuki is still alive and tried to kill her off. Chad/Sado warded off his attack as he told Orihime/Inoue to escape with Tatsuki. Yammy then attacked Sado causing his arm to snap into three pieces. Inoue quickly ran back as Yammy asked Urquiola if she is also ‘trash’ much like the others. ‘Trash’ = not the one they are looking for.
There was a brief flashback of Inoue and Sado running to the scene. Sado told Inoue that she should only just rescue the surviving person. Inoue realized that Sado also knew that she couldn’t kill. Back to the present, Inoue realized that Sado tried to protect them for the enemies are strong. Yammy was about to attack her with one finger but she used her shield to protect herself. She also tried to restore Sado’s arm. Urquiola wondered about the strange technique for it isn’t really healing but reverting the arm in its past healthy state. That pretty much reminded me of Miranda’s innocence but unlike Miranda’s, it is permanent. Inoue was thinking about wasting some time with the enemies as she wait for Ichigo to come but changed her mind for she doesn’t want to cause any more worries for Ichigo. She decided to fight but her attack was quickly stopped or rather swatted. Yammy asked Urquiola if they ought to bring her to Aizen for Aizen to study her. Urquiola said no and for Yammy to finish her off. As Yammy was about to grab Inoue, Ichigo stopped him with his Zanpaku sword. Inoue apologized for being weak. Ichigo told her that she shouldn’t apologize and not to worry for he is going to finish this off. Ichigo then goes into Ban kai.
In One Piece [chp. 378-379], the Franky family + shipwrights managed to down one of the giants and only one to go. Spandam asked about what is happening outside as the guard tried to tell him that Luffy is beating up 400+ people but somehow, the guard got hit as he was about to say 5 -- it made Spandam thought that Luffy was dodging the marines. Then, he learned that Lucci’s group is back. Back at Rocketman, the others are preparing for the charge with Zoro cutting up the fence. Back at the headquarters, Spandam greeted Lucci’s group then they measured up their strength by hitting Fukuro. It was mentioned that Spandam may be chief but he is the weakest of them all. Then, Robin and Franky was shown to Spandam. Spandam badmouthed Tom that Franky tried to eat him. Spandam was saved by Kumadori. Outside, the marines are trying to contact Spandam regarding Luffy who is wrecking buildings but the phone was hanged up so they contacted the three-headed giant justice who couldn’t decided with each other as to what to order the marines to do. ^^;;
The prosecutor’s wife suddenly fainted in Gankutsuou [ep. 11-12] that Franz and others took this chance to take Valentine away. They met with Albert on a motorbike half-way. Albert then used his bike to stop the chasing policemen. The prosecutor tried to find the kidnappers and realized that his wife was the cause of the poisoning. His wife threatened to kill herself to create a scandal but the prosecutor wasn’t fazed and even dared her to. Silly woman, he could have easily kept her body so as not to create a scandal. Somehow the shock over it made the wife a bit loony. Albert had spied on his parents as he learned of a third party named Elmond who was suppose to be dead. Then, he visited the Count after meeting with Franz who warned him about the Count. The Count told him that he needs power to control his destiny and that there is no such thing as a coincidence. When he arrived back home, he learned that Eugenie’s parents had broken off his engagement with Albert.
Then, there seemed to be a cut or something as the financer told Eugenie that the engagement is off because of a rumor regarding Albert’s father. Albert’s father is then with the short man as he asked the man who tipped him off. I’m quite puzzled as to how things got to be. Anyway, with the engagement off, Eugenie and Albert got to realize that they actually like each other. At the concert, Albert managed to sneak in the theater with the help of his friend to see Eugenie’s piano concert. The two managed to meet briefly but at the second piano piece, Albert was escorted out by the financer’s goons. The ex-convict turned into a rich guy used this opportunity to give Eugenie some roses. He has been wooing her for some time now even though Eugenie has been trying to get away from him. Outside, Albert saw the Count whom he cried to since he got shooed away. When they went out, they were faced by the prosecutor with lots of police as he announced that he is going to arrest the count as a suspect for killing his spy.

I’m back. I am still recovering from cold and managed to check if my computer is okay now. I had it fixed last Tuesday since the computer kept on disconnecting me from the net. Then, on Wednesday, I had a sore throat then running nose then, it is a full-blown cold. I was a bit drowsy from the cold meds and now a 3-day antibiotic, which is giving me stomach problems. ^^; I feel a bit better now.
In Gankutsuou [ep. 9-10], Albert try to find help for Eugenie’s mother who fainted but ended up being poisoned after drinking some water. The Count hinted that someone is trying to poison someone in Valentine’s family. It turned out to be Valentine. Franz and friends tried to rescue Valentine from her house. The grandfather tried to tell them that it was the stepmother’s doing. Unfortunately, they were caught by the stepmother and her bratty son. Meanwhile, Albert followed his father to a church where the prosecutor and the financer were there also. They went there because of an invitation from someone they knew who was suppose to be dead. There was a coffin at the church and it was the detective that the prosecutor had hired to investigate on the Count. Albert returned home to be tipped about what Franz and the others planned to do. The prosecutor went back to his house, shaken over what happened, saw the commotion in the gate as he grabbed for his gun. Things are indeed getting interesting here. It does really make one want to read the novel.
In Full Metal Panic TSR [ep. 7], after learning of his new duty, Sousuke started shouting at the balcony that someone contacted him. I guess that he is confirming about his new orders. In the end, he just followed what he was ordered to – evacuate the place and do not contact Chidori anymore. Next day at school, Chidori wondered where Sousuke was and while walking with her friend, one of the twins passed her by. It gave her the chills that Chidori immediately went back to her apartment. She began to get paranoid so in the end, she went to Sousuke’s apartment, only to find it empty.
I started to find Legend of the Condor Hero amusing. It seemed to be like a ‘cinderella man’. The lead, Lan Guo was bullied and nobody wants to teach him martial arts. Right now, most of the ladies he met have fallen for him though he have a jinx of leaving them temporarily and something bad happens to them. ^^; Then, he got taught martial arts by two masters indirectly. I asked my father if this was based on a true story, he said that it is just a ‘comic’ or fiction so I guess that is why some are quite unrealistic. The story is now going into a ‘forbidden love’ phase for it is not allowed for a teacher and a student to marry each other.
I also watched Otogi Zoshi, the legend of Magatama last week, thanks to Asher’s reminder. The story seemed to be about getting the magatama back. An archer who is posing to be a boy and her retainer are going after it. The archer is doing it for her brother. The villain is some group who had taken it and then there are some political intrigues at the capital and another seem to be villain is Seimen Abe, an omnyouji. The art is realistic and so far, it is okay though I can’t seem to quite get the connection of the different scenes as if the story started at the middle. ^^; It also somewhat reminded me of this other anime that I watched before. I need to check if it is what I thought to be based on.
