Finally, yehey, I got my computer back. That was a long wait and I have to kept myself busy to stop thinking about it. ^^; Geez, it is like having withdrawal symptoms of addiction. Actually, I actually fear for my files and the gruesome work of installing all the programs back and other stuff that is worrying me. I do hope that the Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories file is still intact for I don’t think I want to go through all that the third time. I was like bugging the technician everyday about it and they kept telling me that they have a hard time copying the files since windows was corrupted. So from the day I sent the computer. It took around Saturday for them to find the problem with it and that was windows got corrupted so they have to reformat the drive. It took around 2-3 days just to move the files and another 2-3 days to install it all again – well, the basic ones.
So, while waiting for the computer to be fixed, I have finished Shadow Hearts 3. I think I got the bad ending. The plot isn’t as good as the second one and maybe because I fail to empathize with any of the characters. Lady all of a sudden felt sad that Killer is dead that she wanted revenge. The gang finished her and well, at least, she is with Killer wherever they will be. Everyone went back to their old lives and well, Shania became filled with malice so I guess she has succumbed to it after it was given by Lady to her. The story is quite predictable and well, in terms of gaming, it is quite easy for I finished off Lady and her orb, in one try. ^_^
Since I finished it, I played Omnimusha 4 to pass the time. If SH3 is easy, Omnimusha is pretty hard. I chose to play normal instead of easy or hard and I am somewhat regretting it. My character got killed lots of times in this game and now, I had pretty much used up all of the potions that I have and I felt like crying since I thought it was the last big boss before the next rest but there is another one. Here, I have to really think of ways to defeat the bosses as in strategies how to kill them based on their behavior. So, the gameplay is pretty challenging. In regards with the story, it is okay. Three of the five characters are out to kill a specific person as revenge/stop their evil doing. One is a monk who seemed to be the guide while the other one is coming along as the lead’s lover. Tenkai, the monk, has a resemblance with the actor Takeshi Kaneshiro who if I recall looked like the lead in previous Omnimusha games. I’m thinking that he is from the past games, the former lead? Soki is the new lead, the black/blue oni whereas Tenkai is red. His scenes with his childhood friend, geez, forgot her name, can be quite corny and melodramatic. ^^; The plot is typical but then, the cutscenes are really gorgeous. The art of the cherry bloosoms are really nice in one part of the game. I tend to play it in Jap dub to make it really seem to be in feudal Japan. ^_^
I decided to check out the anime on Wowow last night and it turned out that Karin has ended and replaced by Demonbane. I have read of this in other blogs and it turned out to be a bit disappointing or not as I thought it would be. The setting is like in Count of Monte Cristo – somewhat futuristic and yet of the past. The story, based on looking and not understanding what’s happening - A guy, I’m assuming to be a detective, got an assignment which he was hesitant to take it because of the money and ended up giving it to an orphanage. He was staking out a certain place when a young girl came crashing down on him in such an inappropriate pose. Just when I was wondering why there are many girls in this series, there was a pantyshot so ah, this is somewhat of a harem anime? They were chased by some goons and the girl helped them escape then they got caught again. The girl kisses him and he transformed while she became chibi [she was cute] and defeated the enemies. The enemy then had a huge mecha and the girl found him a mecha, too, Demonbane. The mecha design was somewhat bulky like in Aquarion. That’s it. The costumes and art are not my type though. There is no opening or closing song yet so maybe, next week, if I watched it. I checked out The Third, too and I don’t quite like the genre either and well, this episode, the 5th, isn’t that interesting. They must be mourning over a death and I got to understand what the title meant, it is about a third eye. The lead was exploring the place and showing this guy around as if he was a foreigner. The setting is of sand dunes/desert and war. At the end, she made up with this other girl, her sister? Anyway, it didn’t got me interested to check out the previous episodes.
The other day, the first Filipino got to climb Mt. Everest and yesterday, another one did. I’m blogging this because I find it amusing for there are actually two groups climbing up Everest. In one side, is backed by one channel while the other is backed by another channel. I know that the first channel planned to do it ahead since they even made a documentary about it and I think the documentary won a prize or something about climbing Everest even though there is no snow here. I don’t watch much news lately because these two channels tend to bash each other but I read about it in the newspaper so I guess the two channels are trying to out do each other as to whose team get to be on top first. The first two are from the first channel who started it. From the editorial, they said that competition challenged the climbers to go on as many people are watching on tv about it. It is a good thing that nothing happened to them while they are trying to ‘race’ each other up the mountain. The other news is about Da Vinci Code about whether to ban it or not. In our country, it is R-18.
So, I have to intall everything back and hopefully, the computer doesn't act up for a long time. The dial-up is going a bit crazy though just like before, kept on disconnecting. Uh-oh. So, if I don't write a long time, that means, I got it repaired again. ^^;

Status on My Computer
Sunday, May 14, 2006 @ 03:29 p.m.
I’m currently at sis’ house after we ate outside for Mother’s day. I was suppose to get my computer on Saturday since they said that they couldn’t find any error on it but on that day, when I called if I can pick it up, they told me that they found the error. The profile in windows got corrupted and it would be better to re-format it. Uh-oh, my worst case scenario. It is a good thing though that it is only the main drive, the data drives won’t be touched. I would have been able to get it by Monday but unfortunately, there was a typhoon here last Friday night and by Saturday, most places have no electricity. I read from the newspaper that it is because a billboard has fallen down and damaged the electricity wires. It included the computer shop so I might be able to get it on Tuesday, at most. Oh well, even if I got the computer on Saturday, I won’t be able to use it because of the all day brownout. We were also a bit unlucky for most places or even all the places in the areas have electricity already but we don’t have until 11 at night. We slept early because of boredom.
The good thing about this, aside from realizing that I am a bit addicted to computer/internet ^^; is that I managed to clean most of the drawers and tables that I planned to do. Hehehe Only a few more stuff and I’ll be finished. I also think that I’m going to finish Shadow Hearts 3 soon. I’m thinking that it is the last dungeon though I’m finishing up some side quests though got stumped at the last UMA. In regards with the plot, it is as I expected. Johnny is indeed resurrected from the dead using the book. Forgot the name – emierge? And that, Lady is his sister. It really isn’t as good as part 2 but I guess it is okay though predictable.

Not so Good News
Tuesday, May 9, 2006 @ 02:03 p.m.
I had finally finished cleaning my computer table and it is now, nice and neat. How long it will last I wonder? After one day, the dust are already gathering on it. ^^; I'm planning to arrange/clean some of my messy drawers so that it would be easier to find things. I actually plan to do this during the long vacation but got postponed when there are visitors kept on staying at our house until the other day. It is a bit of a hassle to entertain people and well, they tend to make a mess, especially the kids. My computer is acting up again. Is it because of this anti-virus I installed then removed? My word doesn't work anymore and just now, there is the blue screen error though it is different from the ones before.
I realized that I'm really into Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu when I found myself re-watching the episodes over and over again. I guess the jumping of episodes story format works for me since re-watching, I gained new information as to what was talked about before. The jump from the just formation of the brigade to baseball is really confusing though but after learning the roles of the different characters and watching it again, it makes sense. Am I making sense? ^^; The episode annoucement of Haruhi turned out to be the truth as to what episode it really is the next showing. I really like episode 5 of Ouran High School Host Club which is about the twins' fight. It was marvelously done that I have to re-check the manga ending of that chapter and yup, I like how the anime did that one, much better than the manga. ^_^
Dang, the error came back again. The comp tech said that I should have it checked so I won't have computer/net access until it is fixed. I guess it is already due for it had errors before, too and it is better now while it is still on warranty. The tech said it will take around 3 days or more. Hopefully, it isn't a reformat. I guess I have time to clean up now. ^^;

Visit to Nii, Naruto [chp 305] and a bit of Anime Blah
Friday, May 5, 2006 @ 02:38 p.m.
Visit with Nii was okay since the blood results are okay. We have to wait 2 hours for our turn and I was the last patient. Since it was a bit early, I also got a haircut, which was also okay except the bangs didn’t turn out good. ^^; Since I’m a bit bored, I had red highlights on it, mahogany red though it isn’t noticeable since my parents didn’t mention anything about it. Hehehe Then, I had dinner at bro’s house and went home. Oh ya, while reading some interior design mags at the parlor, I have a sudden urge to fix our house’s design..minor decors but then, knowing myself, I don’t think anything would come out of it. ^^;
Haha..I’m really getting into Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu and it is quite funny that Kyon was just mentioning what if alien, time traveler or esper would appear right in front of him so that life would be interesting, it actually happened. They are all investigating Haruhi who was suppose to be ‘god’ though she doesn’t know it so they try to make her happy unless Haruhi decided to make the current world disappear. Another series that I found really entertaining is School Rumble 2nd term. I don’t know if it was good because I just browsed the Chinese scans and not really know much what is happening that I enjoyed this rather than the 1st season wherein I have read English scans. The misunderstandings are still hilarious and the survival game was really fun to watch as if they are really in a war.
In Naruto [c. 305], Naruto told Sai to go on ahead as he will fight Orochimaru. It turned out that he isn’t actually fit to fight on Orochimaru, luckily for him, Sakura and Yamato came to help him. Orochimaru decided to run after Sai who is after Sasuke. Yamato then found a book from Sai’s bag that he had dropped and it was a hit list. Sai was actually assigned to kill Sasuke upon making Orochimaru his ally. I guess that actually make sense for Sai was pretty critical of Sasuke’s betrayal for he didn’t really betray Leaf village. Naruto still believes that Sai has changed and wouldn’t kill Sasuke. Meanwhile, Sai dres mice to track down Sasuke’s room and he did found him. Sai is really crappy with surprise attacks for he was found out by Sasuke who asked him of his motive. Sai told him that he was suppose to kill him but for Naruto, he is going to bring him back. I guess Naruto’s ‘spell’ of niceness did got into Sai, too. I find that as an assassin, Sai is pretty crappy for aren’t assassins good at the element of surprise? I’m guessing that maybe Sai must be good at fighting else, he would be already dead – killing his targets without the element of surprise. ^^; The way things are turning out, I somewhat feel that Sai might be killed off later on.

Gaming, Anime I Watched today and Health status
Wednesday, May 3, 2006 @ 05:55 p.m.
Haha, I had finished Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. *v-sign* Riku IV is indeed the hardest fight while the last big boss is quite easy though takes time. Overall, the story is Sora and others went to Oblivion Castle then got their memories messed up as in they forget their real memories and got them replaced by fake ones through Namine. Namine did it because of being offered to be free if she did it but later on, regrets it. The organization plans to control Sora using fake memories though there is a ‘revolt’ within it, too. In the end, Namine decided to chain back all of Sora and other’s memories back as they were though they would sleep as Sora promises to still remember her. There is still no Roxas in the story. I’m currently playing Riku’s part of the game, Reverse/Rebirth. Riku woke up from a sleep and found himself in the castle, too. He is confronting Ansem who is trying to lure him back to the darkness whereas Mickey tries to guide Riku. The emulator is acting up though since I knew I have saved it once and yet, when I re-load it is gone that I have to play the last boss again and almost couldn’t kill him again. ^^;;
I watched some of the anime that I have been downloading. Air Gear isn’t that good for the story seems to be all over the place, that is compared to the manga. I’m a bit disappointed with the art and in the first episode, many characters already had their cameo. I had decided not to watch the rest of the series. I don’t quite like the character art in Higurashi no naku Koro Ni/The Moment Cicadas Cry but the story is indeed quite creepy. A new boy has just moved in a small village and got to have some new friends, all girls that I thought is this a harem anime. ^^; They were all teasing and playing around but then, from the opening scene of hacking/battering bodies, there is something more to it. The cute friendly girl tends to hang around this garbage dump as she wanted to have KFC doll [the old man mascot of KFC] and then the boy met a photographer. The boy teasingly told him that maybe the girl is checking up on the body she has hidden in the dump. The photographer then mentioned of a murder and an arm can’t be find. The boy asked the girl about it and she said no such thing happened. Later on, he also asked another girl about it and she also told him there is no such thing happened. Back at the dump, the boy told the cute friendly girl if she had an ax so that he can help her get the KFC doll. She took off as he found some old newspapers of a gruesome murder [the body was chopped into 6 pcs] there when the government wanted to build a dam. According to the article, one of the culprits of the murder hasn’t been found yet. The boy then realized that the two girls are lying. The last scene was the girl getting a pretty big ax. Honestly, I’m intrigued and wondered where the series will go so I’ll download some more episodes.
Zegapain is a mecha anime and I don’t like their mecha design but the art is good and it is also quite interesting. The first scene was a guy sending off this girl as he committed suicide to destroy the enemies. Then, it is present/in the future school scene. A student wanted to recruit some students for the swim club which he is a member or else, it is in danger of being closed off. He then saw this beautiful girl in the diving board and tries to ask her to join his club only to find her disappear after saying some things to him which he can’t quite understand. Then, that night, while talking with his childhood friend, he remembered what the girl told him, save the planet. Then, he was whisked away by the girl who appeared at his room, and then, he was in the school swimming pool. They dove into and then got into mecha, defeat some enemies which the boy suddenly seem to knew how to pilot it then heads back...he found himself in the pool again and when he dove, he saw the girl who gave him a kiss. I guess he must be some sort of reincarnation of the earlier guy. There is some unnecessary fanservice but otherwise it is okay. About Ouran, so far [2-3], it is indeed fun even though I already know the story.
I got my blood test results. As usual, it is so-so though the crea is not so good again. As Nii said, my crea tends to fluctuate rather than be steady. It is .1 higher than the one on border and my triglycerides is a bit higher even if I don’t like sweets..must be the carbo, I guess though I haven’t been eating much lately. ^^; For the first time though after ktx, my hemoglobin level is at level. It’s a miracle! I haven’t gotten an injection for about a week and it is still quite high. I did got injections for about 2-3 mos straight. Mm..I hope it doesn’t go down again since I’m getting insomniac again lately. I would go to Nii tomorrow. It was suppose to be on Friday but as my insight said, Nii won’t be there on Friday, maybe a convension or something. Hehehe, I’m already one month late from my scheduled Nii visit.

Kantarella and other blahs
Monday, May 1, 2006 @ 02:17 p.m.
After reading the English scans of Kantarella, it was mentioned that it was based on the true story and I ended up yesterday researching about the Borgia family. ^^; Quite infamous I must say as they are called the ‘first crime family’ and since a book about them was written by the author of the ‘Godfather’, I suddenly have the urge to watch it. ^^; The family is pretty corrupt and murderous that they would do anything to enrich themselves though they are pretty close that there are rumors of incest, etc and tends to think of marriage to secure ties and get rid of those whom they no longer need. I think the ‘Godfather’ movie is somewhat like that. Though, Kantarella is loosely base on it since there are some difference like in real life, Cesare is Rodrigo’s favorite son though Rodrigo does fear Cesare like in the manga. I think I would have to delay reading the manga since the real story is still fresh in my mind and it is quite hard to read something when I already know of how they decline starting when Rodrigo died in a most horrid gruesome way. It is pretty much what happened in Death note’s last chapters and the last one [107] with Light’s demise? And well, also with Peace Maker Kurogane, where all the shinsengumi will die since it is historically based.
I have updated on Bleach anime up to episode 77. They are still doing the ‘save Ishida then back to square one’ and it is a bit boring. I don’t know if it is because the subs that I got are a bit blurry or if the art in the filler is really not good. I would check the other subbers, which releases a bit delayed if the picture quality is better. Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu is really weird and yet fun to watch. Episode 4 is a bit weird though since it doesn’t continue with what happened in episode 3. The story is Kyon being ‘forced’ to join Haruhi’s club, SOS [Save the world by Overloading it with Suzumiya haruhi fun] brigade and helping out her different antics as other members got into it. A reason why I’m watching this is I’m really fond of listening to Kyon’s va and found that I like Tomokazu Sugita’s voice as in the other anime that he works/ed in. Hehehe The ending’s dance sequence looks fun.
After being frustrated over the possibility of fighting endless just to find map card 8 in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, I re-checked past saves and luckily, at the same world, there is that map card 8. Yipee. I managed to progress and only to be stuck again since I can’t defeat Riku IV. ^^; I have easily defeated him before and now, he moves to fast that I can’t keep track of my cards, when to heal that before I know it, he has defeated me again. So back to square one, I have to fight more heartless to power up Sora as in increase his HP that hopefully, I don’t have to heal up by the time I defeated Riku.

Just Some Blahs on this Manga and Gaming
Saturday, April 29, 2006 @ 03:51 p.m.
Mm..I wonder if there is no Jump this week for there are no scans up yet or maybe it is just delayed this time since the chapters are boring/not much happened. I just discovered Kantarella yesterday [though I have seen the cover art before] and it is quite interesting even though I don’t quite like guys in tights. ^^; The story is about a boy who was being sold by his father to the devil so that he can become pope. After childhood hardships and learning of what his father did, he was ‘reborn’ and got this other guy to be his assistant and seems to plan for revenge when he is already an adult. Okay, that’s what I got from reading the plot and browsing it in Chinese. I learned that this title is already license and luckily, I found some old scanlations by SiH. I would re-read it and follow it up with the Chinese scans, which are already in volume 9. I’m a bit curious as to how the author managed to stretch the story that long. The art is pretty as they are all in costumes and everything that I think of Venice though the author is known for her shounen ai stories. So far, there are no such scenes yet here from vol. 1-2. I haven’t read her other series so I don’t know how far she carries the shounen ai theme in the story. I was actually hoping for his friend to end up with his sister, unfortunately, he got her married to someone else.
I’m getting frustrated again with Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories that I want to cry. I had stupidly used up the no. 8 card, I think and now, I need it to open the door to get the story to move on. I was desperate that I try to find cheat codes to get all the map cards but it doesn’t work on the emulator or I’m just stupid that I can’t get it to work. I did found a trick to repeated fight heartless without using up my map cards. I will try it later on and hopefully, they would drop a no. 8 card. I’m already so close to the ending of Sora’s story. Argh. Sora has already powered up that I can just keep on pressing the hit button without looking or not concentrating and still win. I think I’m around 3/4s of Shadow Hearts 3: New World since the enemy base had already appeared and things haven’t been solved yet like about Johnny’s past as so far, everything is like chasing Lady and her cohorts around ruins and trying to stop her from opening the gate. I’m still trying to get some side quests done before going into the salt tower to release the blue light to stop Lady’s opening of the gate.

One Piece [chapter 408] and Blood+ [chapter 9]
Friday, April 28, 2006 @ 03:00 p.m.
Hehehe, I just realized that I forgot to update on One Piece [c. 408] ^^; Nami realized that her attack has failed for Califa made a bubble shield. It turned out that Califa ate the bubble devil fruit that she can produce bubbles that can zap/clean the strength of her opponents away. Nami tries to fight but it was futitle and before she knew it, her legs had been made shiny and useless like how Sanji was, when Califa rubbed bubbles on them. Meanwhile, Monster Chopper made short work of octopus hair CP9 as Chopper overpowers him and tossed him away after finishing him off. Unfortunately, Franky comes as he wanted to get more cola for the next battles and got smack like a fly by Chopper. Then, Chopper climbs up the tower. Finally, Spandam reprimands Robin for stalling as she thought she heard someone. Spandam gloats again about the process of going to the gate when he freaks out as he heard Luffy calling for Robin. Lucci told Spandam to take Robin ahead. Luffy destroyed a door to find Lucci, waiting him in the room. So, only 4 CP9 left and based on their strength poll before, Califa turned out to have really powered up ever since eating a devil fruit. Mm..I wonder if Califa would use her powers on Chopper to make him small again as he is climbing up the tower. I’m not quite sure where Zoro and Usopp are in the building. Lucci must have been pretty happy that Luffy came after them so that he can have a piece of the action instead of just escourting Robin. The author is doing a different style here of boss fights as instead of concentrating on just one fight, he is showing the different fights happening at the same time and I’m not complaining. ^_^
Blood+ [c. 9] comes with a few colored pages and I like the bluish one of Saya with Diva. After finish up the chiropterans, Saya propose that she ought to go and save Riku. Kai tries to tell her to wait but Haji has already got Saya and went away or rather jump away. At the mansion, Solomon got news that Saya is coming and told Ansem that Karl is already using the ‘temporary’ hand. Karl is walking with Riku who to his surprise, was locked up in a cage. ^^; Karl told him that they will separate from their and that he is a chiropteran so their worlds are different. Saya and Haji has arrived at the mansion. She holds a blue rose then later on crushes it in anger. Saya then apologizes to Haji as she holds his chiropteran hand and said something about fearing it when she was awaken but not, she realized that she just doesn’t want to face her past. They were then interrupted by Karl who threw a sword on Haji’s hand. Saya was caught off guard by Karl’s swiftness that Haji tries to defend her but ended up with a literal eye for an eye scene between Karl and Haji. Karl then said something about not drinking human blood, them being chiropterans yet they kill chiropterans and why do they fight for humans. Saya fights back about humans and monster being not the same and that chiropterans are her crime/enemy. Karl was going to counter when he noticed something wrong with his new arm. He said, Ansem then it exploded.
Back at the prison, Riku was worried about the explosion and to his surprise, Kai and Lewis have already came to save him. Riku then saw a case of the moth that he was looking with Karl and then he took off, leaving Kai and Lewis. There is a bit of flashback on Karl and Ansem and I guess Ansem decided to sacrifice Karl in order to get to Saya and he got demoted after his defeat against Saya before. Vin tries to kill Karl for he is now useless but Riku took the bullet for him. I’m not sure if it was Solomon who came to pick up Vin was the one saying that to let Saya take care of the rest. Saya has already awaken from the blast and was happy to see that Haji is okay. Karl asked why Riku did it as Riku said that he just felt that he has to save Karl. Karl cried over Riku and told him that he is being unfair when he noticed Saya. Saya thought that he bit Riku – I have no idea where Riku got his bite mark, and decided to kill him. Karl let her do so willingly as in no resistance as Saya was surprised about it though she still killed him. Haji and Saya brought Riku’s lifeless body back to the others. Kai is getting angry as to what happened as Saya told him that the only solution was to give Riku her blood. Okay, I’m not sure if that implies that they would make Riku a vampire or he is infected and has to be killed using Saya’s blood. I still don’t get where he got the bite mark. Maybe Karl bit him to ensure that he would live on. Anyway, the next chapter would make that known. Anyway, the manga gave resolution as to what happened to Karl whereas in the anime, he just disappeared. Oh ya, just read there will be a PS2 game based on this series.
Thought of the day:
A single light can provide hope in the darkest night. ~ Our Daily Bread.
In Skip Beat! [c. 86], noticing that Kyouko doesn’t seem to be herself as in not talking even if she was the one who called him, Ren asked if there is something wrong. That snapped Kyouko back to reality as she asked herself why she called. She felt that something is going to happen in regards with Vie Ghoul and yet she doesn’t know what it is – fear of the unknown but she decided to keep it to herself for she doesn’t want Ren to worry needlessly. She just told him that she haven’t done anything to mess up the on-location shooting – her first one. Since Kyouko kept on insisting that everything is okay, Ren decided to let it slip. Itsumi thought that Ren and Kyouko’s relationship is quite good then she noticed that Kyouko is shaking – not looking as okay as she said she was. At Shouko’s room, she asked Shou if he should go back to his room and asked what is the deal between him and Vie Ghoul’s Reino for they are glaring at each other. Shou said it was nothing though obviously, like Kyouko, he is pretty bothered about their challenge and what Reino said about Kyouko – being okay for him whether she is Shou’s girl or not. Thinking about it infuriates him even more that when Shouko was going to ask how his new song is coming, he looked at her gloomingly and told her that he is going to sleep. Shouko is then worried if Shou could write the song on time.
The next day, Kyouko kept on looking around whether Vie Ghoul are around as she went for breakfast with Itsumi at the cafeteria. Itsumi asked if something is wrong for Kyouko has been acting weird but Kyouko told her it was nothing as she told herself to be on the alert for them, Vie Ghoul. To her surprise, Shou was beside her and already picked out the foods that she will eat – typical Japanese breakfast. He told him to finish eating already to get back to work for doing make-up will take some time especially for girls. She tries to counter him for the sake of it, that she wants Western breakfast but freezes when Shou teases her about Vie Ghoul being around. Kyouko is then forced to eat with Shou around as she kept on looking if Vie Ghoul are around. Unfortunately for her, everyone begins to think that Kyouko and Shou are a couple, including Itsumi.
At the van where Kyouko is being made up, Itsumi asked about it as Kyouko denies it. After some explanations, she told her that Shou is just a childhood friend. Itsumi then told her that since Kyouko is still made up this whole time, Shou is currently hanging around the set. Then, Shou, who was writing his song, got hit by Kyouko’s demon ball. ^^; He tried to look around who hit him when he faces Kyouko’s Mio. She shouted at him as to what is he doing there. Shou bluntly says that her faces look fiendish because of the scar. Kyouko shouted back that it is her role and that he should go back to work already [write his new song]. Shou told her that he is doing it as Kyouko noticed some music sheets on the table.
Back at some place, Vie Ghoul got info from their spy in Shou’s group that Shou is already working on his new song. They thought that Shou is making things interesting. One of them asked Reino what they would do for they can just easily get Shou’s new song. The others were then thinking about where Shou could be since his staff couldn’t find him. Reino then wonders what would hurt Shou the most and remembers Shou’s angry face when he made Kyouko shiver in fear. Reino smiles and then told the others that he is going to find ‘red riding hood’ = Kyouko. Back to the location, Kyouko is asking why he is writing a new song when he should be recording the song already. Shou shouted back that she should mind her own business and that she should be reprimanding someone else as he imply that the leads in the drama isn’t just Itsuki. He then told her that for a lead actor [Ren] being late is not becoming and Kyouko should wake him up for he might still be sleeping in the hotel. Kyouko then defends Ren by saying that Shou shouldn’t compare himself with Ren and that Ren has another work on a different place so Ren would be coming the next day. Shou hits the table as he shouts that Ren is useless for he only appears when he isn’t needed. Kyouko tries to toss a demon his way when they were interrupted by Shouko. Shouko reprimands Shou as Kyouko told him to go with Shouko.
Shouko tells Shou that staying there would make him bothersome and if he wants to write his song, he can do it at the hotel. Shouko had thought of going there when Kyouko mentioned about their on location shoot and since Shou acts a bit weird the other night, she put two and two together to have arrive to the conclusion that Shou might be there. Shou then warns Kyouko not to leave the set and be alone. Kyouko is a bit irritated for saying such obvious things to her. Shou finally left as Reino is lurking around. Meanwhile, Ren isn’t taking any breaks from his photo shoot as he wanted to go back to Dark Moon shooting asap as in that same day.
It is nice to see Shou being protective of Kyouko though Kyouko doesn’t want ‘niceness’ coming out from him. It’s amusing that Kyouko still falls for lies – in this chapter, Vie Ghoul being around the cafeteria. It is also interesting that Shou was actually expecting Ren to be there to be the ‘bodyguard’. Now that both guys are not there, what would Reino do and how would Kyouko fend him off? I am really wondering whatever did Shou did to Reino that he hated Shou so much and wanted to hurt Shou really bad. Anyway, it is already obvious who is the ‘wolf’ in this arc – none other than Reino. I stil don’t quite understand why he calls Kyouko Red riding hood. ^^;; I guess Ren would be the woodcutter whereas Shou is grandma. Lol. Oh well, until the next chapter.

Parfait Tic [chapters 118-119] and a Bit of Anime Ramblings
Wednesday, April 26, 2006 @ 09:31 p.m.
There are three new chapters of Parfait Tic though one of them has jumped to chapter 122. I will skip on that since I haven’t gotten 120-121 for it seemed something important has happened there for in chapter 122, Daiya is really angry at Ichi and has started the cycle again of pushing Fuuko away by avoiding her. I’m beginning to think that Fuuko is better off without these two cousins messing up her life. ^^; Anyway, it is still happier times on chapter 118-119.
Akiou and Isocchi were walking there way back to the cottages and take the time to ‘bond’ with each other while Fuuko is avoiding Daiya, thinking he might become a ‘wolf’. Daiya went near her and asked why she is avoiding him. She told him because he is a pervert wolf and explained because of what he said earlier. Daiya said that he said that it is because she is cute. Fuuko tries to tell him that there are other cute girls around him. Daiya pointed out that he wears glasses that only sees her – shining differently from others. Fuuko tries to hit him for teasing her when Isocchi came to interrupt them. Back at home, Icchi is disturbed that Daiya and Fuuko are spending the night together.
As they ate barbecue, Daiya said that it was a good thing that an old man picked them up to drive them to the cottage. Fuuko was observing Akiou and Isocchi and thought that they have a ‘lovers’ feeling’. While in the hot spring bath, she told Akiou that it seemed that her relationship with Daiya isn’t the same as Akiou – the feeling that it brings out. Akiou told her about being uneasy is being in love..something like that. Later on, the foursome are playing cards. Fuuko is getting all flustered when she touched Daiya’s hand while they grabbed the chips at the same time. Isocchi wasn’t able to sleep the other night that he was sleepy. Daiya asked if he should help tuck Isocchi in when Akiou asked to do it later for she wanted to see Isocchi’s sleeping face that made Daiya and Fuuko blush over the two. Then, Fuuko told Daiya that they should go out and look at the stars as she wanted to be with Daiya alone.
While walking outside, Daiya teasingly asked if Fuuko is cold. She replied that she is a bit as Daiya tries to remove his clothes. Fuuko embarrassed told him to forget it. Then, he put on his ski hat on her as she told him to return it to him for it was given to him by the person he likes [Fuuko ^_^] Then, they walked holding hands then he told her about knowing some magical words to make a shooting star appear. They both hold out their hand and said, Hey, star, come down. To Fuuko’s surprise, candies are falling down her hands and it was Daiya. Fuuko picks up the candies as Daiya told her that it is her ‘white day’ gift. Fuuko then thought about Daiya saying about glasses seeing only her, then she told him that he was the whom she wanted to be with, bit by bit. Daiya was surprised and calls her name when a man told them to go back to the cottage for there are boars, foxes, bears and other animals there. So, they decided to go back, Fuuko saw Akiou sleeping beside Isocchi in separate sleeping bags. They also decided to sleep at the other side of the cottage.
The next day, Isocchi freaks out for having fallen asleep and have not given Akiou her gift for white day. Daiya then asked Fuuko if she managed to sleep as Fuuko asked him back, too. Then, both thought how could they slept that night. Back at Daiya’s house, Icchi confirms that Daiya didn’t went home as he looks at the empty bed. Back at the cottage, Akiou showed to Fuuko what Isocchi gave her, a ring. Akiou teased Fuuko for not having womanly charms that Daiya only gave her candies. While at the bus, Isocchi was very happy and wished that they stayed for 10 days whereas Fuuko thought if it were for 10 days, her body would be aching all over. Daiya then looks at Fuuko to tell her that he had fun. Fuuko said that she wants to sleep so Daiya made her head rest on his shoulder. She tries to sleep though kept on blushing. Then, she noticed that Daiya is doing something on her hand so she opened her eyes to see what it was and on her right hand, is a bracelet. Fuuko was really curious to look at it careful yet trying to pretend to be asleep. She blushes even more as Daiya smiles at her reaction and gives her a kiss on the head. Aww...too bad it won’t last after a few chapters. Oh well, I like how the author draws/creates the romantic scenes. ^_^
Oh ya, I have finally watched the first episode of Ouran High Host Club and it was pretty good. The art is really nice though I sometimes felt that the character art is a bit different nevertheless, I quite enjoyed it. I like how they changed a few things like how did the others aside from Kyoya knew that Haruhi is a girl though they didn’t show how did they knew that it was their customer who was bullying Haruhi when in the manga, there are pictures. Anyway, small nitpicking but otherwise, it is really good. ^_^ While Gintama [ep. 3] is so-so. The art isn’t that good since the cg is pretty obvious and I already know the story but then, it is around a few chapters when I got into the manga. I haven’t gotten into the songs of these two anime yet as in like it at first listening. I have checked out Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu [ep. 1] and it is okay though ya, I did laughed a bit in some scenes. This is having a bit of buzz so I’ll check out more episodes of it. The lead guy/narrator for that amateur video's va sounds awfully familiar.

My Girl [e. 6-11]
Monday, April 24, 2006 @ 04:04 p.m.
I’m already at 3/4 [ep. 6-11] in the Korean drama of My Girl and so far, I’m still enjoying it. ^_^ There are some attempts to bail out of the façade so that there will be minimimal hurts for everyone but then, sometimes circumstances kept on preventing it. Soon, Jeong Woo and Sae Hyun has begun to notice that Gong Gan is changing and has started to fall for Yoo Rin. The real good part was when Gong Gan and Yoo Rin had a date which was suppose to be a set-up for Jeaong Woo and Yoo Rin but Yoo Rin gave her ticket to Sae Hyun, thinking that she doesn’t want to get more involved with Gong Gan for she would end up getting hurt. They went to a high building where Yoo Rin likes to go and kept on teasing Gong Gan one lie after another and he fell for all of them. The last one was about counting to 5 and one’s destined partner would appear. He couldn’t find her when she went ahead to buy some boiled sweet potatoes. He counted to 5 and to his surprise, the lights in the area lit up and he saw her. He felt like he is going crazy as he thought if it was indeed a lie or not.
Then, Jeong Woo became a bit desperate that he wanted to propose to Yoo Rin but was rejected. She was furious that Gong Gan set her up for it and told him not to get Jeong Woo involve in it for it would get more complicated. Gong Gan went to Jeong Woo who told him he shouldn’t have come to see him so embarrassed after being rejected. Jeong Woo then pointed out that it seemed that Gong Gan is worried over Yoo Rin not because she is his ‘sister’ but because he likes her. Gong Gan was somewhat stunned over this fact as Sae Hyun overhears it all. Gong Gan later on tries to suppress his feelings as he kept on working like a workaholic and has finally broke up with Sae Hyun especially since she blurted out part of the secret about Yoo Rin to the grandfather. Yoo Rin one time, goes to his office but then, met Sae Hyun who told her that Gong Gan has broken up with her. Then met with Gong Gan’s secretary who told her that Gong Gan is into snowy days lately that he would ask when it would snow. Later, she met with Jeong Woo whom she tries to avoid but ended up being inside the same elevator. He told her about Gong Gan going ‘crazy’ over this seeing one’s destined partner after the count of 5. She did count to 5 as the elevator goes from fifth floor to the ground floor only to find Gong Gan, waiting there. She was also shock over it as she realized that Gong Gan has also somewhat fallen for her, too.
The grandfather wanted to make Yoo Rin her official granddaughter by getting her introduced to the company’s anniversary. Gong Gan tries to avoid it by an excuse about going to work at Jeju Island for he doesn’t really want her to be his ‘sister’. Then, it snowed on their way to their destinations, it was then Gong Gan decided to be true to himself as he got to the venue and tries to run away with Yoo Rin but Jeong Woo and Sae Hyun saw them. They were shock over this new development. From the preview, it seemed that Sae Hyun is a vengeful type and their ‘lie’ has finally been exposed as reality sinks in.
I really like it that Gong Gan has confess his feeling to Yoo Rin already and not at the end of the series as like in Goong or Full House. The count to 5 scenes are really nice aside from the other romantic scenes here. The boring parts are pretty much the other casts like Yoo Rin’s friend courting Gong Gan’s secretary and Gong Gan’s aunt-servant relationship, which are be pretty overly dramatic. Hopefully, the ending is really good to make this series one of my favorite Korean dramedy like Lovers in Paris though this one had a crappy ending – the last scene about everything is a made up story should be scrapped. Oh ya, Jeong Woo is Gong Gan’s best friend, not cousin. His mother seemed to be a shareholder in Gong Gan’s grandfather’s company. So, Gong Gan calls her ‘aunt’ as respect for elders though they are not related.

My Girl [e. 3-5] and Other Anime/manga Updates
Saturday, April 22, 2006 @ 05:48 p.m.
My Girl turns out to be pretty fun. In episodes 3-5, Yoo Rin finally agreed to become the imposter for Gong Gan’s missing ‘sister’ though it is more like a cousin as she has nowhere to go with loan sharks on her tail and she somewhat felt sorry for Gong Gan even though he can’t ask her nicely about it without making snide remarks that she is a good liar. ^^; It was suppose to be just one part and Yoo Rin would be on her way unfortunately, the rest of the family found her there and the grandfather woke up so she has to pretend all the way. Gong Gan promises to pay her for all her trouble and he did for he gave her like half a million for it.
The other scenes are pretty funny and nice/romantic as they get to know more of each other as they have to live under the same roof and that naked scene was hilarious. Lesson: Don’t jump all overly excited over a bathtub when it is only the two of you alone in the house. Mm..I didn’t seem to have noticed if they have servants in that huge house, maybe it is the aunt’s ‘lover’ who seems to be a villain for he already suspects that Yoo Rin is an imposter and he and the aunt seems to have done some evil deed. Meanwhile, Sae Hyun, Gong Gan’s gf has returned and wanted him back but he has somewhat gotten cold to her though but in the end, because of Yoo Rin’s intervention, they got together again. So, while Yoo Rin is lonely when Gong Gan is being called out by Sae Hyun for dates or other stuff, Jeong Woo comforts her. Things then get a bit complicated as Jeong Woo realizes that she is an impostor and well, Yoo Rin, as Jeong Woo pointed out, has fallen for Gong Gan. The last scene was her telling Gong Gan to stop treating her nicely else, she would like him and changed it into as a sister. ^^; Gong Gan looked pretty surprised about it and I wonder if he is dumb as to not know that Yoo Rin has fallen for him. Too bad Sae Hyun came and whisks Gong Gan away leaving Yoo Rin with Jeong Woo.
Yoo Rin must have regretted pushing the car horn to make Sae Hyun notice that Gong Gan is there when Sae Hyun was suppose to leave the country after her accident. I like some of the outfits here like their black suits with purple accents and Yoo Rin’s winter clothes when they got stranded in the forest -- she looked like a princess. Her dress for Sae Hyun’s party is really nice, too. ^_^ While browsing about the cast, I realized that the actress who played Yoo Rin is actually the female lead in Green Rose. I didn’t quite recognize her for her role there was quite sober and demure while here is quite the opposite and well, maybe the hair. ^^;; So ya, I like this drama so far. ^_^
I watched Gintama [ep. 1-2] and it was so-so since it is more like a filler and introduction. There is a lot of talking here that I have to kept pausing the player and re-read the subs to understand the jokes. ^^; Since it is a filler, I felt like the conclusion is not that nice as the ones in the manga as in the feeling of satisfaction but then, it is still good. They made some remarks regarding bankai and well, Shinpachi holding a basket with two spring onions reminded me of One Piece. =P Anyway, episode 3 will properly start the anime as according to the manga for 1-2 is an hour special. I finally got to watch Fate/Stay Night [ep. 14-15]. I was stalling a bit since like others, I don’t want to see Archer rip. ^^; Oh well, I got spoiled about it already so there is no way of avoiding it but then, his moves/spells and final moments are pretty good. ^_^ They are still fighting Ilya and Berserker though I do find Saber and Shirou seems to be a handicap though I guess they would get stronger later on since well, they are the main characters in this story. I realized that I don’t quite enjoy Kyou Kara Maou anymore as I felt like skipping most scenes as maybe I just find this current arc really boring. ^^;
In Naruto [c. 304], Sai did the expected which is siding with Naruto and others against Kabuto as he wanted to know of this bond that Naruto spoke of. They then split up into two groups as they search for Sasuke. Since Naruto is still weak, Sai decided that they rest up. He confess that Naruto actually is pretty much like his deceased brother then finally thought of what he wanted to draw in the picture book of he and his brother holding hands as the cover. Then, Orochimaru appeared and asked whose side Sai is on. The next chapter is Truth so I do wonder who would have a confession but obviously it isn’t Naruto. While in Bleach [c.224], Hitsugaya got to talk with Hinamori. It started with how are you, etc but ended with Hinamori in denial that Aizen is the enemy and asked Hitsugaya to save Aizen as Gin is the one responsible for everything. She was made to sleep by Yamato as they signed out. At Urahara’s underground training base, Chad and Renji are still fighting it out as Urahara muses about how he got Renji to do it for him as chores = answers to Renji’s questions. He does seem to be a freeloader as in the anime. ^^; While at the abandoned warehouse, Ichigo is still training and arguing with Hiyori as others thought that they get along well. Inoue then have arrived though I do wonder if she has someone along with her for the scene has this black shadow, I don’t know if it is her shadow or someone else’s pants. I guess next chapter would be more revelations and stuff.
It is flashback time in Fullmetal Alchemist [c. 58]. First, it was revealed that Hawkeye’s father is actually Roy’s sensei. I can already guess why Hawkeye’s back has that mark. Her father told Roy to take care of Riza and that she will reveal to him what he needs to know if she thought he is worthy..something like that. As Edward asks about that Ishbal rebellion to Hawkeye and Scar asks about it to Marcoh, the truth about it is revealed. Scar’s brother is into alchemy though more on the Xing’s kind of alchemy as Scar disapproves of it. Then, a scene of Winry’s parents being dedicated to saving the patients that they didn’t even tried to escape as the war is heading their way. The war is getting longer and it is getting disadvantageous, Bradley signed a law to wipe out all of the Ishbal with the use of state alchemists. The last scene was of the state alchemists heading out to do the dirty job. Of the ones shown, there is one that I don’t recognize – maybe he died on the job. His skin is dark like Ishbal’s yet his hair or rather moustache is black so I’m guess he is a half-race. I do wonder about Winry’s parents staying at the war...I guess it is indeed hard to decide whether to save people/patients at the risk of one’s lives or staying with loved ones = stay alive though parents did decide on the former. This chapter also reveals that Edward does like Winry though he is in denial. ^^;

My Girl [episodes 1-2]
Friday, April 21, 2006 @ 05:05 p.m.
I just got mom to buy another dvd set of Korean drama. Hehehe I just told her that from d-addicts forum that there are many comments on this series [ = good series], My Girl which was said to be like My Sassy Girl. My mom didn’t finish watching the latter one for she claims that she doesn’t like the lead girl there. It turned out that she should like both the lead male and female to watch the drama to the end. ^^; I teased her if she looked at the cover of My Girl and liked the lead couple before buying it. She said she did. ^^;; Unfortunately, I can’t truly enjoy the series since I have to content on reading the Chinese subs. The English subs are badly done as in most bootlegs.
My Girl is about this girl, Yoo Rin, who is a swindler as her father was. She tends to prey on tourists for she knows Japanese and Chinese. The actress fluency on the language is pretty good..I envy her. =( When she was chased by loan sharks whom her father owed a huge amount of money, she bumped into this rich heir of a hotel, Gong Chan. The setting is in Jeju island. She tried to bluff/trick her way around him to get money but he is too wise for her. He did used her as an Chinese translator for his Chinese guests whom he entertained at this guest house. Learning that the guest house has a tendency to be empty most of the time, she hide out there and even harvested the orange orchard to sell them and made them into marmalades. When did swindlers learned how to make marmalades? ^^; Gong Gan later on found out about it when he visited the guest house. He now distrusts her though somewhat amused that her money-making ways.
Gong Gan has a problem for his grandfather is searching for his ‘sister’ as atonement for sending her daughter away who later on died. The grandfather is on the verge of dying since they still can’t find the granddaughter. Now, after thinking about Yoo Rin’s deceiving ways, he decided to let her pretend to be his sister so that the grandfather would have a will to live. That’s the end of episode two. As for the ‘others’, the other guy is Gong Gan’s cousin, Jeong Woo who is a playboy and takes life as fun and games that he doesn’t want to help Gong Gan run the business. He had saved Yoo Rin from the gangsters once and somewhat got attracted to her and since then, had been meeting her in different occasions. The other girl is Gong Gan’s girlfriend or is it an ex-gf? for she seemed to have chosen to become a tennis player rather than settle down. She reminds me of Hyo Rin in Goong. The two other side characters are Yoo Rin’s ‘brother’/friend while the other one is a friend while in Seoul? who works at the beauty parlor. I’m guessing that the main conflict later on will be if Yoo Rin is indeed Gong Gan’s sister, then, the two can’t be lovers. Ah.. like Marmalade Boy? ^^;
The cast is okay though at first, my mom thought that the one who played Jeong Woo is a girl. ^^; There was a scene of him with this girl whom he is playing with and my mom asked if this is homosexual. ^^; Just as I read in the forums, many thought that he is a girl at first. Am I the only one who didn’t think so because he actually somewhat reminded me of Vaness Wu from Meteor Garden. ^^; Though, I have to admit some scenes depending on the camera angle does make him look like a girl and he is pretty. ^_^; The series is okay that I did laughed at some scenes and it is pretty much like Goong and Full House-type of drama. This somewhat confirms to me that ya, would hav enjoyed Goong better if I haven’t read the manga. The outfits for the guys aren’t that bad as the other two series though which is good for bad outfits tend to distract me from the story. ^^; Hopefully, the story would keep it interesting until the end for me to watch up to the end. Hehehe
