I think Trinity Blood anime is going to be pretty short. They just cramped a whole novel’s worth of story into two episodes. ^^;; Since I only know the first novel’s story, I might not be able to follow the next episodes.
Gyula, like most villains, would like to explain things to the protagonists as to why he is doing using the machine. He is using it as revenge for his wife’s murder. Then, Abel and Esther tried to gun him but were defeated. Next scene, Esther and Gyula was at the control room. I found it amusing that they even have time to dress up Esther in that pink gown. ^^;
Dietrich appeared in a hologram to cue in his betrayal as Esther was surprised that he is still alive. Blah..blah...as Gyula tried to change the program. This gave Tres an opportunity to come in as back-up and free Abel who was tied up. Tres then fight off the usual soldier goons.
Abel came in just as Gyula tried to kill Esther. Abel transformed and easily defeated Gyula by chopping off an arm and a leg. That reminded me of Edward [FMA]. ^^; Since Esther couldn’t stop the program, Abel was the one who did it. Gyula then committed suicide as Esther was weeping for me. Weird – in the novel, Gyula actually saved her life. Oh well...at the end, Esther is boarding the train as Abel was there.
Overconfidence has made me repeat a part of the game in SHC:Nocturne. ^^;; I should have saved it before heading out. I had defeated the creepy manikin guy after a few trial-and-error against the monster it called up. The lead’s two friends ended up becoming monsters as they wanted to be the ones to shape the new world. I find Isamu creepy with those ‘faces’ on his body. Chiaki looks okay..not that scary. Anyway, I’m glad that the creepy manikin guy is dead...I don’t like going into buildings with blood splatters all over the place. It is kind of disturbing even if it is just a game.

Yesterday, I was very irritated at this high school batchmate who sent me a huge movie clip of an ad of visa – monkeys stealing stuff and being bribed by bananas. I didn’t asked for that clip but it was downloading a long time already. And the fact that the ad was shown on tv already. I’m guessing that she is living abroad or something – thinking it isn’t shown here.
So, I politely asked her to refrain from sending huge files to me since I download my emails and not read online like yahoo. The other time is a fwd with small pictures – it is a tad smaller than this one. I’m also guessing that she got my email add from this other batchmate who likes to send fwds.
I got a reply and she asked, hu u? [lazy way of typing who are you] I just popped a vein. Sigh, it was only now when I can think of another way of answering it more creatively. ^^;; Of course, I’m not nice enough to actually give her my name and told her about sending me emails and not knowing how I am. I just told her to remove me from her email list. I’m nice enough to even write thank you. Hahaha...being ultra-polite can be my way of getting angry, I guess. ^^;; I was thinking that I might still get to meet this girl so better not be too mean.
Later at night, I went with my mom, bro and nephew to watch Star Wars 3. Mmm...pretty much how I guessed how Anakin get to wear that black mask just based on the ad. Let’s see – the climax seems to be at the lava planet. Obi Wan survived this episode so Anakin must have become toasted hence pretty much disfigured at the last part.
After watching it, I feel somewhat dissatisfied. Jedi knights sure are pretty weaklings – those who got easily killed. I guess ‘evil intent’ or ‘kill chi’ is non-existent that they just didn’t know what hit them except for yoda, of course. Grievous is pretty much a weakling, too. I thought it was pretty cool to have 4 light sabers but then, Obi Wan could easily defeat him. He seemed much stronger in the lego game and bro said that in the cartoon, he was the one who killed all of the jedi.
I think I heard the ‘I love you’ at the end. Bro said that he didn’t hear it. Mm..I thought love is prohibited for jedi. Then, Anakin wanted to rule the world...so much for that, he ended up just being the right hand man. Ironic that he ended up ‘killing’ the one whom he wanted to save and the reason why he went to the other side. It is uncool for him to lose that yellowish hint in his eyes when fighting Obi Wan. I did wonder why he didn’t even go to his wife’s funeral.
Well, not much can be cramp into a 2 hour and 15 minutes movie. I blame Bleach for this since I’m still into it and loved that Aizen twist. Obviously, Bleach is one of my current favorites. Good thing that the anime follows closely to the manga. I even downloaded a special on the captains and vice-captains poll movie clip just to see the ban kai of the others. ^_^;
In FMA, Lan Fan sacrified her arm to keep Bradley fooled and help get Ling to go back to Edward. Ed managed to stop Winry from firing and shielded her before Scar could get to her. Scar remembers how his brother did the same thing that he hesitated. Al managed to attack him and chased Scar. Ed comforted her saying that she must not stain her hands and told her to wait as he went to help Al.
Meanwhile, Roy was listening through the communications and Hawkeye would go out to serve as back-up. Back to Al and Scar, they talked a bit and just when Al is going to be hit, Ed came. Then, Gluttony came and attacked Scar. Ed went to help as he wonders where Ling is. Ling then came and put a bomb into Gluttony’s mouth thus he exploded. He started regenerating as Ling told Ed to make a strong wire. With it, they tied Gluttony up as he was regenerating so they caught him. Bradley only found Lan Fan’s arm tied to a dog as Lan Fan went into the sewers so that he couldn’t follow her from her blood.

So much for my Bleach theory, the author postponed the fight. ^^; It turned out that Aizen is with those Hollows who rescued him and his comrades. Gin bid farewell to Rangiku goodbye though he does seem a bit sad. Tousen is doing it for his ‘justice’ while Aizen just wants to be ‘god’ ^^; He changed his look, too. No more glasses and he had his hair swept to the back. He had a make-over. =P
In One Piece, the Franky family ship hooked up with Rocketman as Kokoro managed to latch on the rail. Everyone has grouped together with Luffy’s group, which included Franky family and the shipwright stowaways. As they decided to band together for they are after a common goal, Sanji gave a call to Nami.
At the train, T-bone seemed to be pretty caring with his men even though he looked scary. ^^; He was then informed that many of the marines were wiped out as the two prisoners had escaped. T-bone told the others to inform all of the people in the train. On the train, Sanji told Nami that they are in deep trouble because of two idiots – Franky is holding on to Usopp who is about to be blown by the wind.
While in Skip beat!, Ren finally managed to compare his present experience to his role that he might actually do the role. Then, he saw Kyouko waiting for him with a lunch box. Yashiro was thrilled to learn that Kyouko even skipped class just to make Ren a lunch box. Ren thanked her and smiled that ‘toasted’ Kyouko’s demons. Hehehe
He asked her if he can have her time and ‘body’. Because of his phrasing of words, Yashiro is thinking of something else as Kyouko reprimands Ren for using such words for Ren just wanted her to help him practice. Ren wanted them to do it without the script as Kyouko thinks that Ren is about to grasp his role.
D-grayman vol. 4 is number 1 in Japan. ^_^ That’s good so that means it won’t end soon. Hehehe The cover is of course, Rabi. Currently, the group is in China. Wee, Rabi is back in this chapter. Allen has been blasting akumas and Rabi is complaining that Allen has been abruptly killing them that he might get hit. Then, Rinali came back with a cat which ate Timcampy.
Rinali noticed that something is wrong with Allen’s left arm and when she grabbed it, it is crumbling. Allen said that he thought it is because he is using it too much and it is a parasitic type. Rinali became sad as she remembered her dream while the others are teasing Allen for making Rinali cry. Elsewhere, Ticky has been busy killing exorcist as he look for the ones in the list that the count has given him. One of the exorcist survived and was tended by a Chinese family but then, as the little girl went to get water, the exorcist became an akuma.

I finished a picture puzzle yesterday though I cheated. I used the numbers at the back to complete it. I haven’t flipped it upwards yet since I need 2 huge papers/boards to flip it. So, I don’t know if I did it correctly. I started last Wednesday and did it after assorting the numbers and attaching them all together while watching Amazing Race and CSI. At first, I thought I missed a whole lot of pieces but it turned out that I got a part wrong and I could just merge the two. I figured it out when I noticed that all the middle part is missing – shaped like an earthquake fault. ^^;;
The puzzle belongs to my niece which was a gift to her. I asked my sis-in-law if I could make it. It has been here for many months already and I finally got to do it yesterday. Hehehe
Trinity Blood anime is really different from both the novel and the manga. I actually liked the novel version because of the suspense of two certain people who turned out to be on the other side. In the anime, it was already revealed who is double-crossing. So much for that. Esther even had a shower scene. I think they had already killed off her guardian. Anyway, it was almost boring and a lot has been removed if based on the novel so I just watch the pretty backgrounds.
Esther has just killed some guy and thinking about it while taking a shower then Dietrich informed her of something. Abel came to the city and spends around 5 minutes roaming around the city. Then, Gyula came. I don’t like this voice, it was too low. I don’t like Esther’s eyes either. ^^; Then, Gyula’s guys captured Abel for loitering. Gyula and Abel chat then Abel was picked up by Esther.
Then, they had a chat. That night, Abel saw Esther and Dietrich chatting about something. Some troops came to the church, shot Dietrich and took Abel and Esther as prisoners. As usual, I like the ending pictures – where can I get them?

There has been a lot of murders in broad daylight. It ranges from robbery to high profile assassinations of journalists and politicians. Interestingly, just when one crime’s suspects are apprehended, there is another murder. It is not even funny when the government is saying that all of it is just a coincidence or the crime rate is down.
Oil prices here is going up with the usual alibi of oil companies that they need to cover-up their expenses. With that, there is an increase of fare hike. Of course, it won’t be long before every other thing will become more expensive. That’s not all, there will also be an increase of tax in commodities that are vat-free before like gasoline and electricity. It was mentioned that by January, they can even increase it further from 10-12%. That is the situation in our country.
Filipino dramas are coming back again to replace Korean dramas. There is a trend on fantasy lately though – is it to help forget the problems and be teleported into some other place that doesn’t exit? [Escapism] I actually heard about it from a newspaper but it is on the US – horror films being a hit.
There are two in the ‘heart’ channel. One is on Darna, which is pretty, much like a local wonder woman. I haven’t watched it but kids seem to like it. From the ad, it is like Cinderella given special powers to fight ‘evil’ villainess. ^^; The other one is Enkantadia [Enchanted] that is about a place on fairies, kings, queens and warriors. Last night episode is about a baby exchange. Geez, doesn’t that seem like that drama before about babies being exchanged – prince and pauper style?
At their arch-rival channel, ‘family’ channel, there are two fantasy which would be shown in the future. One must be based on ‘Hunchback of Notre Dame’ – Kampanyerang Kuba [literally bell ringer hunchback] Sorry, I am at a loss how to translate that. It is about a girl who is deformed and a hunchback who rings the bells in this church where she was abandoned by her parents. Since this is a fantasy, based on the ad, she can become beautiful with the help of a certain candle. This is based on a movie of the same name. Obviously, it is another Cinderella-type story.
The other one which was slated to be shown on September, iirc, is ‘Ang Panday’ – The blacksmith. It was popularized by the late actor wannabe president. It is about a poor blacksmith whose buttons are all pushed that he decided to fight back against this evil dictator. There are monsters or rather, I recall zombies and a princess.
On to Bleach, [hehehe] Byakuya was injured but before Aizen can do anything about it, all of the others (captain/vice-captain) had came with swords on the ‘traitors’ throats. Aizen is pretty calm about it all as he is smirking. I’m making theories here already. I wonder if Aizen is indeed overpowered and managed to free himself from all of the ones there. What are the chances of Ichigo’s alter ego [hollow] would come out? That guy seemed to be overpowered, too.

We went out at night for dinner to celebrate Mother’s day. That is after going to church. Bro recommended this new restaurant Zong but unfortunately, it is packed. It was already 8pm and we were told to wait about 1/2 hour to 1 hour. Everyone was hungry so we ended up at this restaurant called Trio, which serves Italian food. It is okay though not the type one could come back again just to eat there.
Since we are a lot in the car, I’m feeling a bit claustrophobic and cramp. Good thing I managed to survive it amid a bit of dizziness. ^^; Bro gave me the box for the flip phone he ‘lend’ to me. I had been lusting over a flip phone because of Ren. Hehehe I will keeping it at home though since bro said it is expensive. I can be quite paranoid carrying expensive things outside in fear of it being stolen.
Late at night, I watched a bit of bio-data of Filipino painters. Since it is at a government station, the audio can’t be heard clearly so most of the time, I have no idea what they are saying. ^^; Anyway, it is quite inspiring that most of them said that God is the one who helps them in their work.
In OP, Sanji arrived where Usopp and Frankie are tied up. When Frankie introduced himself, Sanji beat him up for he caused a lot of grief to Usopp as Usopp tried to stop them since they are making such loud noises that alarmed the other marines. Back at the city, Kokoro showed them the train, Rocketman, she was talking about. Iceberg came out of it after pepping it up.
Later on, Nami came with a huge sack of meat and wine for the crew. Frankie’s gang came and asked Luffy if they can go with them to save Franky. Luffy agreed and off they go with Kokoro as ‘driver’ and Paulie as stowaway.

I must have slept the wrong way for my neck is all stiff. It hurts when I turn to the right. Argh. Not a good way to start the day. I’m on store duty again for the next two weeks starting today every morning because the secretary is going on a vacation and is going to get married as well.
I spend the whole afternoon and night yesterday, doing the next blog pic. It took a long time since I couldn’t quite get into doing it that I kept on repeating what I was coloring. ^^;; Oh ya, there was also this glitch that in some parts, I couldn’t color. I couldn’t figure it out why – could it because I’m not using Photoshop 7? I had used Photoshop elements since my installer is with Asher. Anyway, hopefully, it isn’t that obvious.

I realized that I’m been online way too long since I just used up a 60 hour net card in just one month when I expected it to last at about 3 months – 20 hours per month (self-limit). I somewhat blame the usage inquiry site is ‘dead’ for some time that I can’t monitor myself. Hehehe
It does seem that someone has been spreading the SB! Chinese scans or something that the scanlator from the forum got angry and now charges money for the scans instead of the delay. But then, the site where I get my scans has it so no problem there. The SB! ml is hosting the latest chapter raw which is also from the forum though I didn’t see it at the forum. Weird.
In the last few chapters, Kyouko was asked by Yashiro to cook Ren dinner and be with him to help Ren be at ease. Kyouko thought Yashiro is sending her there for Ren to torture her so that Ren can relax. ^^; Anyway, Ren is back at his fake smile mood since Kyouko had told him that she is doing it because Yashiro asked her to.
Then, they have seen this talk show about a couple whose age gap is 20 years old. [It was a few days later when I learned of Tom Cruise’s newest date – I couldn’t help remembering what Kyouko said about it is like a college guy ‘sleeping’ with a baby] Anyway, Ren was very casual about it as Kyouko tried to make him react over it since Ren was making a big deal over a 4-year age gap. Then, Kyouko realized Ren was staring at her. When she called his attention, all Ren did was sighed.
After helping clean up, Ren brought Kyouko home or was it near a bus stop. Anyway, Ren wasn’t giving her any eye-to-eye contact and when he did, he quickly goes to his car to run away. Hehehe Kyouko then blushes as she tells him that she is waiting for him to do the role. Ren left casually as Kyouko decided that she must make him fall in love to do the role. Back to Ren, he was pretty much blushing as he remembers Kyouko and he sighs.
Yashiro was wondering why Ren was sighing all the time and when asked about what Kyouko cooked for him, Ren has rammed the car into the sidewalk. Lately, Ren has been listening to his cd player. Everything is not ordinary and Yashiro somewhat blamed himself for it. He was going to apologized when someone knocks on the door.
It was Bou who looked somewhat thin – his head is a rooster but the body is of a duck. Bou/Kyouko asked to talk to Ren. Kyouko then brings to mind about that talk show and much to her surprise, Ren admits that he is just using the age gap as an excuse. Ren then told her that even after she is no longer a high school student, he can always make up another excuse for he couldn’t let himself fall in love. Kyouko asked if it is because of showbiz. Ren with a painful look, told her that it doesn’t matter in what place – he can’t.
Kyouko couldn’t ask anymore questions because of Ren’s expression. She learned that is why Ren is always putting on a fake front because he doesn’t want to fall in love. She wondered who can help him. Back at the studio, Ren learned from the director Oogata that the president gave Ren the ultimatum to come back and do the role within 3 days and if the president left without letting Ren finish, Ren is removed from the drama. That is two chapters.
Last night’s Trinity Blood is another filler or rather, I read that it is from a drama cd. It is about Abel and Tres Iqus investigating a place with lots of dead people/vampires. Then, there was this little girl who came out. She knocked out Abel when she touched his forehead but it was useless against Tres who is a robot. Abel woke up screaming from a bad dream – a guy dress in white. Anyway, they interrogated the girl.
The girl tried to escape and was chased by Tres, almost killing her. Abel protected her and managed to stop Tres attack by electrocuting Tres. Then, a nun came to take the girl to some place. Later on, they realized that the nun was wake when the real nun came. An elder had put a tracer on the little girl. Tres came down to the building and blasted all of the vampires. The boss lady vampire [the fake nun] came. Abel told Tres to go ahead as he will finish off this one.
The vampire stabbed him but to her surprise, she couldn’t pull out her ‘bone’. Then all the blood from the dead vampires that Tres killed where being absorbed by Abel and then veins went into the female vampire and I think she sucked her dry or something as he became krusnik – hair suddenly going upwards and red eyes.
Outside, Tres wanted to aim at the girl again but claims he has no bullets. Then, the lady vampire is still alive, and was going in for the kill. Tres blasted the lady vampire into bits. Abel and the little girl realized that Tres is faking so the girl then went to him. That’s it. The next episode will be what was in the manga/novel – the star of sorrow 1 – city of blood where we will meet Esther.

I can be quite the optimist at times even though I’m usually a pessimist. I actually thought that the party will started exactly at 7pm as my aunt said. We were already there at 7 and unfortunately, it started at 8pm. I should mentally note that it would depend on who is the relative arranging the party. ^^;
So, at 8pm, I’m pretty hungry so I’m already eating the bread that they serve out. The program started with a duet of the debutante’s grandfather and voice teacher of the song The Prayer. That is their take of a prayer before dinner. ^^; Then, they showed a video clip of cousin and what others think of her in short, blah blah.
It turned out that the interview we had was all edited out. Actually for us, three relatives who were stupid enough to go for that interview got all edited out! I didn’t watch since some palm trees are covering my view. Bro-in-law said that we were flashed 1/8th of a second as we shouted Happy birthday. ^^; So, we weren’t even able to complete the whole greeting. Obviously, it is only the relatives and immediate family interview.
Then, cousin arrived in that lacy pink dress which had a cut in front that I can see her thighs. ^^; Oh well, that is expected since she is from ICA [a exclusive school for girls whose students have a tendency to be ‘social’– stereotype]. She was given by the guys a lily – the substitute for 18 roses and then, she sang a song and at last, we can eat.
First of is a shrimp-mango salad. Next is a cream of soup. I like the hotel’s [Mla. Hotel] soups even though they tend to taste the same. ^^; Then, two main course of shrimp-mushroom ala king style on pastry shaped like a leaf and steak with yummy sauce + some vegetables. The dessert is Alaska – ice cream covered by bread and meringue. So far, this is the hotel whose food is quite yummy. Unfortunately, I think I went past the hunger stage that I don’t have an appetite anymore by the time the steak came out.
There are side entertainment and the duet of her two friends is really nice. My sis noted that it would have been better if debutante cousin didn’t get those two girls to sing since they ‘outperform’ her. Her mother sang even though it hurts my ears a bit. Her father [ego uncle] danced with her. I think it is a waltz – a slow dance. It would be interesting if it were a tango. Then, there are the usual 18 candles wishes of friends as the debutante sat on her swing decorated with green leaves and sprigs of blossoms. Funny though that most of her friends came unprepared and told her that they don’t have any wish for her since she got everything. ^^; Anyway, she has three changes of gowns.
Overall, it is an okay party and good thing that we moved from our assigned seats and sat with this cousin who can be quite talkative. I’m pretty much entertained by her. ^_^ Also, it is a good thing that talkative cousin was there for she rarely goes to parties. It seemed that her daughter [aged 7] wanted to go to the debut after seeing the cute invitation. Hehehe

Today is Unicorn’s birthday - Happy Birthday Unicorn-san!. I spend the night looking for e-cards and when I picked one, it turned out that I have to be subscribed to it. ^^; I finally managed to find one, which is somewhat artsy for her. ^_^
I had marked my calendars for birthdays so that I won’t forget. Today turned out to be also my cousin’s birthday – the one whose going to have a debut. So, I have a party tonight and it is in formal attire. I will be wearing what my sis wear at her friend’s wedding when she was a bridesmaid. We opted to ‘do’ ourselves rather than a beauty parlor since we are not the ‘main event’ anyway and well, to save some money.

Yesterday, my mom went to a small mall near here with my aunt. Because of forgetfulness, she left a bag of shopping in some store and unfortunately, it was the most expensive and the things were hers. ^^; She went back this morning but all of the storeowners she went claimed that they didn’t see her bag.
So, she just bought a bag of nachos for me and went home. On her way home, her bag of nachos was snatched by this local vendor who claimed that it is payment for the kitchen utensils that my mom broke. My mom tried to get the attention of others about it but everyone just ignored her. The woman left and my mom followed her a bit to see the woman eating the bag of nachos.
I don’t know if poverty is getting worse that a vendor would even ‘trip’ on wanting to eat nachos or what it is or that vendor was just to cheap to buy her own. ^^; Anyway, as sis said, good thing that nothing bad has happened to my mom and was able to safely come back home. I think it will be a long time before she goes back to that mall.
I watched Laputa today. It is nice about trying to find a city in the sky but then, I had already somewhat guessed that they are going to wreck it. It was only at the near end when I remembered my brother saying that there was a cut. Yup, it was somewhere when the villain was going to explain stuff and up to where the kids get the stone back from him. Anyway, the airships reminded me of Final Fantasy.
I’m making progress at SMT:Nocturne. I’m getting good to exploiting the enemies weakness. Hehehe I finished up the tunnel, which I had missed. I wanted to get all of those ‘insect’ power thingies. I’m now following some manikins while trying to learn about the nightmare system. That manikin guy, who takes manikin’s skins is kind of creepy. Right now, I’m stuck at playing some memory puzzle game. ^^;
In chapter 5 of Vampire Knight, Yuuki asked the chairman to keep Zero in the day class. The chairman consented by doing some magic using Zero’s blood and a bracelet given to Yuuki. I don’t understand the details about it though. ^^;; Anyway, Yuuki went to the night class dorm to ask Kuran to keep Zero’s secret. Yuuki only met Aidou who was obsessed with Yuuki’s blood. After some chat and learning that Kuran is no blabbermouth, Aidou tried to bite her but was stopped by Kuran.
Kuran apologized about it and told her to have Zero with her if she goes to the night class’ dorm. Just when he mentioned about Yuuki, his important girl, being bitten by that guy, Zero came. ^^; Kain asked Kuran about Yuuki that they couldn’t be a couple since he belongs to the night. Kuran just said that in this world, she is important.
Anyway, Zero said that Yuuki must be happy when Kuran said that she is important to him. Yuuki said that for Kuran, she is like a cat/dog, [huh?] and that vampire and humans cannot live together. She immediately apologized because Zero isn’t really human anymore but Zero said that he wasn’t bothered by it. I think Zero gave her his gun, Bloody Rose, and told her that if he is not longer sane, he gives her permission to kill him. It ends there. I wonder if Zero’s family are vampire hunters, I’m not quite sure if I’m reading it right. ^^;
The scans this time is much clearer ^_^ but then, still uses simplified Chinese, argh. Beggars can’t be choosers. ^^; I have also found scans for Hot Gimmick. ^_^ The lead guy with glasses in HG reminds me of the guy in Winter Sonata ^^;; in terms of appearance.

So much for Casshern, I didn’t quite like it though some of the actors are pretty. Hehehe The premise is somewhat like Matrix – everything is dark and gloomy. There are even blue men, which seemed to be used as experiments and stuff. Anyway, I didn’t watch this much since I don’t quite like the imagery.
I did watch Appleseed. Even at first, it is fighting in ruined buildings just like in Mugenjou of GB. Then, it moved to really nice and pretty mega-city. Their roads are almost transparent like glass. The city is steel, glass and a bit of greenery.
The story is about this girl who got recruited in some swat team after being saved by her friend who turned into a cyborg. She also befriended a girl named Hitomi. Later, they have to find something, which can save Hitomi after a certain lab was destroyed. It turned out that the lead girl has it all along. Her mother, the scientist, gave it to her when she was still a kid. Then, after reviving Hitomi, some huge mecha started wrecking the place and going to where Hitomi and others are. The lead girl managed to get to the ‘stop mission’ button though much of that pretty city is destroyed. That’s it.
Since I don’t understand what they are talking, I’m pretty sure there are some important stuff to all of this. I’ll just check later in the net. The scenes that are cool are the start of the opening where the girl is fighting, the part where her cyborg friend used his body to cover her and jump down and she manages to shot the villain right into the head and of course, the climax even though I don’t like her mecha suit. Oh ya, the cyborg friend’s head somewhat amuses me because the antenna looked like rabbit ears. ^^;;
The art is pretty and at times, some of the background looked realistic that I wonder if it is real like the steel bar, the glow of the flashlight and etc. The characters are drawn pretty too and uses that type of art – 3 defined color tones. The hair is pretty detailed, too. I did notice that their highways are only two lanes for one direction and no traffic. I wonder how with all that people presumably living in those buildings travel if they are not using cars. Subway? Or maybe they have become bums. Hehehe I’m also amused that the lead’s hair is moving while Hitomi’s hair isn’t moving when they are in the car and it even covered.

Yesterday is pretty much like a vampire-themed day. ^^; Bro has returned two of three cds that I borrowed from Asher. I watched Vampire Hunter D movie, which turned out to an old one unlike the one I saw before. The art somewhat reminded me of Voltron or anime at around that era. I ‘cheated’ that I just watched or more on listened to it while on the computer.
It is pretty predictable – girl asked for help and D helped get rid of the vampires who have internal disputes. The scene there with the three ladies, who turned into snakes, reminded me of a scene in Dracula. ^^; The artist for this turned to be the one who created the designs from FF6 or maybe earlier. Interesting.
I was checking the Chinese scans site when I saw this pretty picture of bsho. Hehehe..since I’m a sucker for pretty things, I checked it out. The cover says that title is Vampire Knight. The next thing to do is check first if there are English scans and there is. Only the first chapter though and lucky enough, I found the link since they had closed everything down because of bandwidth problems.
The story is about a girl, Yuuki, who was saved by a vampire, Kuran. After 10 years, Yuuki is now adopted by the chairman of Cross Academy. She was brought there by Kuran. Along with Zero, a boy whose parents were killed by a vampire and was also adopted, they are the guardians of the school to prevent day and night class from mingling with each other. The night class are for vampire students and since only Yuuki and Zero knows of their existence, they were tasked to do it. Of course, it is hard since many of the girls in day class are pretty much ogling over them since vampires are very pretty to look at. Oh ya, Kuran is in the night class. Chapter one is pretty much introduction to everything.
The next chapters, I couldn’t resist but get the Chinese scans even if it is not scanned clearly or rather, it is all dark. ^^; In the second chapter, it is Valentine’s day. Zero is acting strange though I already guess why since he had that mark on the side of his neck. Of course, it turned out that the vampire who killed his parents made him one. He is pretty much in agony since he became what he hated the most and even bit into Yuuki when he couldn’t control himself.
I’m not quite sure though on how one can exactly turn into a vampire. I think when their blood is mixed with human blood or something but then, humans turned into vampires cannot make human vampires since the chairman told Yuuki she won’t turn into one. Zero tried to commit suicide and running away but both tries are prevented by Yuuki who asked him to stay. Anyway, Kuran isn’t very happy about it and actually wanted the chairman to transfer Zero to night class already for he knew Zero will become a vampire sooner or later. I don’t know if it is just jealousy or what since he pretty much like Yuuki though I don’t know if it is her or just her blood. ^^;;
I’m still getting chapter 5 which was the last one they have for now. The mangaka is Matsuri Hino. She is also the author of Magic Prince/Merupuri and Toware no Minoue. I was suppose to buy Merupuri but then, decided not to since I don’t like the lead guy that much or rather I don’t like the kid even if I just saw two pages of it. Toware no Minoue is about this guy being made a slave by this girl because it is his family’s duty or something. I had some pictures of it but then, I think I didn’t find scanlations on it. So, anyway, I’m still going to read this since I'm intrigued with the plot even though I don't understand much about the blood thingie. ^^;

It turned out that Gonzo took a different way of starting Trinity Blood as compared to the manga and the novel. It is more like a prologue. At first, there is a narration perhaps about the war between religious group and vampires. In a huge ship, Abel asked a girl for some coffee and it does seem that Abel has a sweet tooth. The girl, who must be a stewardess, went to the cockpit to serve the pilots. Then, a vampire came in and killed all of the pilots and put a cd on the controls.
I already had a hunched that the girl won’t be killed which was correct since Abel came in the nick of time. I somewhat thought that he should have finished the vampire off before putting the ship on course again but he didn’t. Abel with the girl went to a different part of the ship to gain controls of the ship. The vampire came back, of course, and they went outside the ship to fight.
With no one watching, it is the perfect time for Abel’s ‘I’m a Krusnik’ monologue and with that weapon of his, he chopped the vampire into two. That’s the end of him. Then, there is this missile aiming for them but was destroyed by another ship from Abel’s group. The guy who fired that shot..I’m not quite sure who is he or if he is who I think he is. ^^;; Anyway along with this event, there are some scenes of the Vatican with the young pope and his sibling guardians.
The opening is okay though it already showed Gyula’s demise. ^^;; The ending is intriguing for it showed Ester and Abel together. Ah, are they supposed to be a couple here? Anyway, the images are very, very pretty in some parts. ^_^ Overall, it is okay though it somewhat bore me at some scenes with all the talk but then, that can’t be helped since I don’t understand Japanese. They don’t even show a preview only the title – Witch hunt, for the next episode. Anyway, good thing that I had researched this one to understand the plot/what is going on. ^_^

I made some doodles on Painter 8 yesterday. ^^; I’m planning to get to know how to use this program better as well as practice drawing. It is irritating that I tend to like to do things during summer when it is hot. I plan to cook again but then, it doesn’t make it easier since it is pretty hot these days. ^^; I don’t know if it is my imagination but it seemed to be hotter in my place than at sis. I’m thinking that having a garden can somewhat contribute in making a place cooler.
There is a new DG-man chapter and I’m not sure anymore if this is one of those early release the scanlators had or was it just for the last issue which was a double issue. Anyway, nothing much happened here. Kanda and Mari found General Theodore but he doesn’t want to go back to headquarters so they have to tag along him as they search for new comrades.
Back at the headquarters, Komui is overwhelmed by the number of deaths in their group as the others are beginning to fear for their lives. In China, Allen and Rinali are riding a boat as a pair of eyes is watching them. Mmm..does that mean that Crowley is with Rabi? So much for hoping that Rabi and Allen will still be a team. -_-;
I read that Trinity Blood is already licensed. That was fast. It is Golden Week next week in Japan. They tend to show lots of good shows on that week and the only one I’m interested in is Casshern. I somewhat give up on Saiyuki Reload Gunlock which really seemed like a filler arc.

It is pretty hot these days and I’m getting lazy. I messed up my schedule yesterday when I spent too much time playing SMT:Nocturne in the afternoon. I just checked mails at night and watched a few episodes of Sukisyo. Sukisyo’s plot wasn’t really my type. I thought it is more on mystery rather than the usual shounen ai scenes. Boy, I was wrong. I’m regretting to have downloaded this one.
The story is about a boy who had amnesia and had a different persona inside him as well his ‘lover’ who had a double personality too. Then, their blond friend kept on setting them up. It is really downright silly though I admit that there are some funny scenes. I like the opening song though.
Bro-in-law’s downloading had suffered a setback since all the files he had put in the external hard disk got corrupted with no back-up. He was pretty frustrated about it and somewhat bummed out whether to still download files for now. It is really such a waste when he had pretty much filled up that external hd and was about to give it to me. =(
I cheated on Peach girl that I surfed the net to check who she will end up with and well, it was with the one I liked though the ending is pretty much cliché. It would be better for him to get swimming lessons for Momo might get tired of always saving him when he drowns ^^; since he doesn’t need that excuse just to get a kiss from her. Hehehe
In SMT:Nocturne, I think I will be gearing on a neutral side here. The two friends of the lead are going for different sides to mold the world. I think one is going for the demon world while the other is for the human world. I regret letting go of the analyze skill since I’m having a hard time defeating some of the enemies. I also have to get the right combination of monsters as to what is suitable. In the new dungeon, it is pretty messed up than before.

I watched Peach girl anime. It is pretty much a typical shoujo with a ‘friend’ from hell. ^^; I did found myself rooting for the other guy but then, it is okay if they won’t become a pair since he deserves better. Hehehe
The story is about an easily tanned girl, Momo, who was thought of as a bully and flirty. It seemed to be a stereotype in Japan. She has this friend who clings on to her, pretending to be her friend,Sae but ends up wanting everything Momo likes. Unfortunately, this includes the guy she likes. Momo tricked her into saying that she likes Kairi so Sae tried to get him but he knows her tricks that he turned her down. Kairi turned out to really like Momo and stole her first kiss.
In the end, Sae learned that Momo liked Touji, her classmate and Sae twist everything that made everyone thought that Momo is a bully and even Touji, who became Momo’s bf, believed Sae. Of course, Kairi is the only one there for her. After about 6-7 episodes, Sae’s lies were revealed with the help of Kairi. Momo and Touji became a couple again.
Momo made a mistake on trying to befriend Sae who was being bullied by the others. Sae, in turn, backstabbed her. Based on 11th episode, I’m missing 8-10 ^^;, she managed to break up the two again by blackmailing Touji. As usual, Kairi is the one there for her and she is somewhat falling for him but then, maybe not. For Kairi though, it doesn’t matter if she loves him or not as long as he is there for her and with her, it is okay with him.
I like Kairi’s seiyuu and he somewhat reminds me of Ryuiichi [Gravitation]. He can turn into chibi and the way he calls Momo as Momo-chan. =3 Obviously, he is the main draw for me to still be watching this one.
I forgot to mention that I watched last Saturday a live action movie on Cutie Honey. It is the typical girl transformation and since the plot is pretty simple, I can understand what’s happening. This is in Jap dub with no subtitles. Honey is an officer worker who saves the people from enemies, which are like in sentai tv shows. She has a pervert partner who loves to takes pictures of her and she doesn’t seem to mind. Then, she befriends a policewoman who was bent on capturing her. In the end, she saves the day though how she defeated the main villain is a bit corny – showing about her father’s love. ^^;
I read a synopsis of Trinity Blood novel. That is pretty different from the manga though some scenes are copied but where it was shown specifically is different. Like, Abel showing his true self, he only did that when he is against the main villain, Gyula. By the end of that synopsis, Gyula is dead. There are many betrayals and counter betrayals by the different factions. Anyway, I wonder which version the anime will follow.

My mom just found out that the dvd player had conked out after watching too much Korean dramas on it. It still worked last night. It is usually at times like this when we wished that one of us has studied electronics.
I thought that there was no Jump this week but it turned out that the ones who did DG-man is way ahead of publication. ^^; They must have a spy in the publications or something. In One Piece, as expected, Paulie saved them with his rope. Nami filled on the others as to what happened so Luffy wanted to get a ship asap to save Robin for once they had arrived at their destination, it would be too late to save her. Paulie won’t lend them a ship since it will only be destroyed by the Aqua Laguna. Cocoro decided to give them a ‘sea train’.
In Bleach, Komamura was easily defeated by Aizen. Aizen, like most villains, like to blab about his plans or rather, how he did the treachery. He had plot all of it when he discovered where Rukia was and has assigned 6 division to capture her and try to execute her asap. Then, he used something to get the thing that he wants which can make a shinigami into a hollow. Then, he asked Gin to kill her. Byakuya then makes an entrance as he saved his sister. ^_^ Oh ya, I just have to comment here that Ichigo’s sword looked like a kitchen knife. ^^;;
I heard that Busou Renkin is ending soon to make way for a new series. Mm..and the scanlations for it was just starting. I guess the popularity isn’t that high. I had been following Naruto from summaries and sometimes glancing at the scanlations online. It is now where the Akatsuki group trying to extract the ‘beaver’ from Gaara as two leaf village groups are trying to stop them.

I had finally finished the drawing. *v-sign* It is only when I was finishing when I got the right combination of colors. Hahaha..sigh. Anyway, it looked okay and I think I need more practice.
To prepare myself regarding Trinity Blood, I download a chapter of the manga to more or less know the story. A new priest has arrived at a village infested with vampires. His name is Abel and he has acquainted with sister Esther. That night, while is preparing some sandwiches for him, a vampire attacked her and her friend. Just as Esther lost consciousness, Abel fell down. He managed to subdue the vampire but was careless that he got stabbed. Just when the vampire was about to kill him, Abel spread his black wings. The vampire was shocked as it was bitten by Abel who told him that he is a vampire that drinks the blood of vampires. When Esther woke up, Abel just told her that the vampire ran away after he threatened to shot it.
The art is at times good and at times, goofy as if the artist got lazy. It isn’t very consistent. Some scenes are funny for Abel is pretty much like Vash [Trigun] or the lead in Zombie Powder. He acts stupid and clumsy that no one will suspect what he is really capable of. Esther is gifted for she can read one’s mind. The head vampire, Gyula seemed to be after something, which is related to his wife. Overall, the story is interesting.
I watched two episodes of Law of Ueki. It is about a boy recruited by his teacher to fight against other kids with a special power that their benefactor gave them. Whoever wins will make the benefactor a supreme god though basically, they are all gods. Then, that kid will be a god and get a special null ability he wants. Ueki chose a power to turn trash into trees since he is an environmentalist.
A girl found out about his secret and somewhat helps him. This is pretty much the usual fighting only anime. I’m not going to download anymore since the situations are quite unbelievable. People aren’t even surprised about people with special powers and the characters aren’t that fun. The closing song is nice though. The art reminded me of KnGash Bell. ^^;;
The first episode of Futakoi Alternative is okay. The opening had lots of twins that I somewhat fret what if they put all of them all at once at the opening. ^^; The story is about a boy detective. Forgot his name. He was being interrogated by some gangsters for he didn’t took care of the master’s parrot which was eaten by a cat. The gangster’s second man reminded me of Ban [GB]. ^_^ Somewhere, one of the girls are buying croquettes then helping cook them while the other one is busy being chased after by some goons as she try to protect a client. In the end, the girls crash into the boxing ring where the boy detective has just won his match and made the gangsters broke for they bet against him. In the end, the two girls went home with the boy. They are ‘sharing’ him so no cat fights here.
The colors used in this anime are quite washed out and dark that I’m not too fond of but then, I might download a bit more to see if I will like this one. The ending is the trio in clay animation. It is really nice. ^_^
In Xenosaga 2, I had opened the two ‘gates’ already for the finale extra battle with a robot. The third gate’s enemies are pretty hard that I plan to do finish the final boss a few times to level up. The captain’s debt is 10 million and I had paid only 500t. I would have to get the ‘awakening’ from the final boss at around 18 times to pay off his debt. ^^; Good thing the creators made that skip scenes, maybe except the ending credits

I had finished coloring except the background of the artwork. It is a bit pretty different from the original since I changed the patterns of the swimsuits because I’m not too happy with them. I just happen to flip the newspapers and found the pattern, which looked good. I’m beginning to be crappy with colored pencils which I had been using since I’m young or is it just the paper. ^^;
Saiyuki Reload Gunlock is beginning to bore me. I think it is a filler for like I don’t think it is of character for Sanzou to leave his group and join Hazel after a little blackmail which involves Lilin. Actually, I’m surprised that the others would let him go. Everything seemed to be a cliché of everything that has happened before. This one reminded me of when Goyjo left the group.
Girls Bravo 2 has ended. There is a lot of fighting and the usual one by one got stayed behind to fight the enemy as the others go for the goal. Then, the blond pervert, came with some help and even things up. They defeated the enemy. The shy boy talked the cloaked girl and the pink-haired girl is free. In the end, they are all back at the house and doing different chases in short back to normal. Trinity Blood will replace this one.
I read a bit of Spiral manga scans. I thought it is at the later volumes to know about the Blade Children but this one turned out to be just at the start. I couldn’t read it properly since I don’t like the art very much. I got spoiled by the anime art. ^^;
Then, a whole volume scans of He is My Master. This is a gag manga from a couple – one does the story while the other does the art. This is already animated. It is about two girl siblings becoming maids for a boy at the age of the sister who is the master of a house and unfortunately, is a pervert. Throw in a pervert alligator, weird parents and a shy girl who liked the boy turned to like the sister. And, put in a some wacky contests that is what the manga is about. ^^;
In GB, Kadzuki told Shido about the enemies and they wondered who will win the enemy or Ban. Then, two of the enemies met with Ban and Ginji. Ginji tried to cover the girl whose breasts are showing but ended up being strangled as the other one hit Ban that he fell down the stairs. Ban won’t be happy about that. =3

I had finished watching the last installment of Bandit King Jing OVA. It is pretty predictable but as usual, some scenes are pretty nice. I like the sunset scene there. After getting the dream candy, he and Kir left the jail. I think for Jing, this whole adventure is no challenge at all. ^^;
I watched the first episode of Emma which is about the love story of a maid and a gentleman set in about Victorian era. The animation is nice and it somewhat reminded me of those Japanese classics anime based on literature like Little Princess. I like the opening music. Here, it is just the start of the guy’s courting of Emma as he kept on hanging out at this store, waiting for her to pass by. She is the maid of his former governess.
And, I also watched the first episode of Aquarion which is those futuristic anime with mecha and somewhat ‘religious’ theme. I don’t like the art here for the characters. The mecha isn’t that appealing too for it is a bit like Evangelion/Rahxephon. The combining of the Aquarion is well, I don’t know, it is as if they are having sex. ^^; Anyway, the story here is some crew of the Aquarion was looking for someone with the wings of the sun. It turned out some poor boy who will eat anything.
Some fallen angels mecha came and absorbed the people including his friends. The first group was defeated when their lead pilot got ‘mental’ problems then the boy kept screaming the name of their mecha. He became the pilot with the two blond siblings. Then, they defeated the enemy. They are using names about Greek gods here and something to do with past lives. I will watch a few more to see if I will still like this since the reviews who saw it said it is suppose to be a bit funny. I’m not even amused yet. ^^;
I haven’t seen Erementar Gerad and they had already licensed it with only 2-3 episodes out. I read that they read anime blogs to see which clicked and they will license it. Interesting. Gundam Seed Destiny will be shown in the US sometime August in Cartoon Network so I guess at around that time, it will also be shown here.
A new layout today. This is an old one that didn’t looked that okay before but now, I think it is. I was wondering if the background looked realistic..as if she is on the floor. Anyway, since I don’t have Photoshop 7 yet I might as well use this. The quote was supposed to be something about reading but then, I couldn’t find a good one so I ended up with this one.
