10:34am, 28 April, 2005: My mum died, suddenly but peacefully, at ten to ten on 16 April, in the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. She was 69, and had been ill for a long time. She is buried under the yew tree in the churchyard she loved, next to her mother and father.
