Monday, November 27, 2006 :: let's us fly @ 11:37 p.m. sophia: go ahead and try ~ inova always come running because he's the last to reach. i'm running too but to get tickets!? -_-||| tenacious d: the pick of destiny ~jack black (jb) and kyle gass (kg) have formed a band the likes of which has never been seen, and they called themselves tenacious d. this film is not just a list of things that jables and rage kage have done in the past, but it's also a chronicling of their rise to power. to truly enjoy the movie, you'd have to pay close attention to the lyrics and the dialogues between the characters, though some might add that it's a bit of an overkill having almost every line punctuated with Fs or Cs. my favourite piece goes to classico!! laughs are also milked from physical action, with inane bits like the Power Hugs and the Power Slide, which is touted as THE arsenal in any bona fide rock star. the cameo appearances by many were pleasing. i think ben stiller look wolverine?! lol. oh, watch out for some of the custom guitars and possibly the best use of a cock in a movie!? :p auu! my hand swell!? i'm sure it'll gonna turn blue black tomorrow. :( ~the result of fists fight... Thursday, November 2, 2006 :: let's us fly @ 11:27 p.m. la'cryma christi: soulful day ~ i don't feel good these few days, not sick but restless... -_- dead or alive ~based on the popular video-game, "doa" is about an annual martial arts tournament on an island where the top fighters are gathered for a series of duels to select the winner for the US$10 million prize. among the contenders are an asian princess, a female wrestler, a couple of thieves and the daughter of the tournament's creator. borrowing stylistic and casting ideas from charlie's angels and kill bill, doa is essentially mortal kombat and streetfighter combined. drawing parallels to enter the dragon too, there is nothing original or inventive. the film is pure brain-off entertainment. the fight scenes are very well thought out and rehearsed. this alone makes the film fun to watch. Wednesday, October 18, 2006 :: let's us fly @ 11:50 p.m. girugamesh: shadan ~ geez, am i fucking lucky or what?! the fucking announcer kept reporting the fucking technical problems non-stop and it's fucking damned annoying. then we are all fucking force alight from je station and take the fucking buses available. you should've see the fucking crowd, the fucking long queues and it's fucking sardine packed; goodness!! yeah! i took the fucking m18 lines from the fucking departed!? lol. this is not much compare to bad boys and some mafia movies; was it traffic? hmmmz... when we pass by cg station, there's tons of police officers, ambulance, fire engines... and some trucks?! i wonder what the hell happen... i half guessing someone track jumping but unnatural death, said d4. will see what's on the news tomorrow. the departed ~spoilers ahead... in the final scenes, damon and dicaprio just hate each other's gut, the token black guy shows up, the second mole shows up and everybody executes everybody. they just stand there to get shot. and when damon open his door at the end of the movie to see wahlberg waiting for him, it was the cherry on top of the cake... how many shots to the head do we need to see? was it really necessary to kill damon and provide the audience with a happy ending? although the departed is a good movie, i felt a lot more satisfied with infernal affairs. one is over-the-top street violence while the other one is more subdued, concise and nuanced. cranberry juice, anyone?! lol. Wednesday, September 6, 2006 :: let's us fly @ 04:54 p.m. sadie: m.f.p(malicious female pigs) ~ it's up! it's up! how do you like it?? ~wheee! lol. i wanted to do doraemon but couldn't find any suitable pic so end up with astroboy... i thought i can use a retro theme but somehow, it just didn't work out. this layout may look simple but i like the clean cut edge. ^.^ maybe next time i use betty? nah, i don't know yet, ~still need some inspiration to work wonders?! lol. not forgetting also the separator ~cute right?! at first i put in six but it look odd... so i add in another that sums up to 'nana' ~my favourite number!
