sch starts tmr! *panic* i am so so dead. Wat have i covered during this 2wk hols for the CTs? Nothing. Zilch. Nada. Zero. >< ok, i did some maths ques, but they dun count! Geog is tmr together wif GP. Ugh. How to study? ytd me and beat were like complaining to each other that we don't know how to study. There's no textbook! notes notes, and there are so many factors to memorise for each process in the hydrological cycle. why am i taking geog, i wonder. its not as if i'm gonna be wif the mountains and rocks for the rest of my life rite? *shakes head*
guess wat, 5000 pple turned out for the creative warehouse sale on the first day. haha i wasn't exaggerating when i said there was a lot of pple there. woah i'm so hungry now. later need to pia geog. this is very very bad. i can foresee myself failing all... 6 subjects. haha. wish me luck ><

2 things happened yesterday.
1. I stood in a queue for 6 hours to get the Creative Jukebox 3.
2. I got it, and I am broke.
it was the most unforgettable day in my life. I have never stood for 6 hours at one go before. Me, bro and cy met at AMK mrt at 8.40 to travel to Jurong East Mrt.. then walked all the way to the Creative building. we stood in the queue and thought, the queue is not so bad, at least we can see the building's entrance. There was already a lot of pple there. I was quite worried i couldn't get my hands on that jukebox. Never did we expect the queue to be the longest queue in Singapore! Seems like the whole of singapore's waiting for the Warehouse Sale.
and so we waited, the suckers we are. HAha. Time passes by quickly though, cos i realized we talked non-stop all the way for 6 hours. We talked about anything and everything, and meanwhile, there's the Charity Bazaar going on. Some pple are really quite bad.. they bought items for 10 cents each! *indignant* its a charity bazaar for goodness. Oh, and we are on the news! hahaha if u can spot us that is. The camera is interviewing the Sim Wong Hoo guy, and we were in the background. Haha.
and we waited and waited. this couple had tried to cut our queue when we were nearing, and luckily one of the operators saw what happened. I can't believe how thick-skinned that couple is. DOn't they noe what is SHAME? They insisted that they were queueing there already, but luckily the operator is sharp and insistent enuff to chase them away. Good riddance! hahaha.
i was quite nervous when we were reaching the door of the warehouse, cos the nomad players have all sold out, and i don't want my jukebox to be gone too! So i crossed all fingers and smsed pple to pray for me too. my fingers went all cold.. due to the chilly weather and excitement. it is one long queue, and they'll let a handful of pple enter the warehouse at a time.
oh the anticipation. and i got it! left only a few more. Phew am i lucky or wat? haha my bro got one too, since he said that he queued for 6 hours, he might as well buy one too. cy did not get anything! haha he accompanied us in the queue but in the end left empty-handed! i think he's the only one that did that. we were all so hungry by then.. 3.40 plus. There r queues everywhere then. Queue to buy drink, queue to pay, queue for the shuttle bus back to Jurong East! haha but hey, we got the jbs! worth it, i guess, though my legs are aching horribly.
went to Edo Sushi to treat ourselves to something nice, before heading home. Whew. Reached home at around 6pm. i went out at 8am, came home at 6pm! thats..10 hours of my time. Of course, i did not study. *panic attack* i think i'm gonna fail my common tests. Badly. 2 more days to study!
going to Thomson plaza later to do the noticeboard for ATSB and study and eat.. oh no hope i can get something done. otherwise i'm truly done for. and there's still guzheng later on. ARgh~!

alexis' quite tired out from all that banner stuff that she did todae. she reached sch at 9, went with shuhui and rhoda to get brushes and cloth. they are making a 2nd one cos the 1st one is in the bandrm, which is unfortunately unaccessible due to the tiny invention called a lock. So they bought the stuff and went back sch to paint. why a 2nd banner? that's cos they had nothing to do b4 the room gets unlocked, so they thought, what the heck, lets give it a try. the result was surprising. the four of them(sean included) finished the banner in 2 hours, and it's the most beautiful banner that alexis did. simplicity is bliss!
ah, her back, her neck. oh, and the first banner is quite nice too, with the golden words on it. v.good effect. haha she is generally pleased with how things are going wif the banners. but! she used up 6 precious hours on the banner stuff! on coming home all intention to hit the books were gone.. the weather is such an irresistable lure. its just the perfect cool temp. oh, and all the while they were painting, it kept raining. boy it was cold then. absolutely freezing. giving alexis and the rest of s'pore the extremes huh, u weather god.
wish her luck tmr! she is gonna try and get her itching hands on a jukebox 3 going for a steal! at $249 at the Creative Warehouse Sale though its refurbished and has only a 30-day warranty, but 5000 songs storage is juz too much to resist. that means getting up bright and early and heading for the mrt at 8- typical kiasu singaporean. the sale opens at 11! but, though she loathes it, the rest of singapore is doing the same thing, so, what can a kid like her do?

i've started studying! hahaha that's like so unbelievable? yeah u betta believe it. i went to TP's KFC to do maths wif lurong todae. yeah~ missed her.. spent time catching up. Did quite a lot of sums and realized i'm super super rusty.. as in, "creak groan squeak" everytime i start thinking? haha but the feeling of satisfaction when getting a maths sum correct is the best in the world! have a lot of trouble remembering all the old stuff like partial frac and binomial though..
haha~ after todae, tmr i think i'm going sch to do banner at 9... sigh. needa wake at 7.30! >.< my sleep at 2 wake at 12 lifestyle seriously gets interrupted by these... haha plan to do some work tmr too. juz that i dunno what.. hmz. maths and mebbe a bit of lit? i shudder with digust everytime i see pple doing chem..(which is wat lurong did for a while todae).
my sis bought jm's jukebox2 for 300 bux! haha i oso wan~! listening thru the headphones is like havine more than the usual ONE voice in my head kinda effect. so cool~ hee.. trying to get. went back to SN ytd. its strange how i dun miss it all these while, yet the moment i step into SN... there's a sense of ease and it feels just like going back to a warm, welcoming home. guess its the 4 yrs worth of memories attached to this sec sch that i can't erase. i feel so comfortable, so relaxed. diff to describe.. yeah. went to see the band.. not bad not bad, the concerto d'amore is nice. anywae, to anybody who is reading this, I LOVE YOU! hahaha. nice burst of passion there rite? congratulate me. hee.

i hereby proclaim that i lurrrve shopping~! haha. yeah, spent 3 hours at orchard. Had some satisfying buys. Bought a 37 deg blue top and a black halter, plus the etude eyeshadow! (rux: yeah, i finally bought it. regret nv buy earlier! Damn nicE!) haha. orchard is so crowded, it seems like 30% of singapore is on that street alone! ooh love the atmosphere. haha juz looking at all the frenzied shoppers messing up the clothes in the Bargain Rack is interesting enuff. HEe.
People watching! yeah esp. on Orchard Road. some pple really cannot make it... but whoa they are overnumbered by the beautiful pple strolling past. They should be models! haha sadly, most of the model-quality pple are gals. Not a single guy caught my attention. That definitely say something bout Singaporean guys. Sigh.
woah super tired now. Aching legs. din have time to get on the NEL! but i dun really have a purpose to get on the NEL, so i'll be wasting money if i go rite? I think i'll start studying tmr.. After project work she decided to go around shopping, bought a top and that watch. Now currently looking for nice shorts. actually she wanted to go shopping today too, but her stupid guzheng lesson is right smack in the afternoon at 5, and the sun is shining so brightly outside, she can't even bear to step out of her house.
received a prank call last night at 12 plus. She was very bewildered by it, and kept saying "HUH? who r u?". Haha quite an interesting incidence. and she has not started studying for the common tests yet! Oh no. She keeps telling herself, "later i will go study" but she just avoids her desk like plague, preferring instead to go online, sleep, watch TV or just slack. And she had discovered the wonderful world of..online shopping! haha. it sure helps to pass time quickly. but nothing beats the real thing of course.

i just woke up, the weather is cold and rainy(perfect for curling up in bed), and none of my siblings are at home. I'm listening to all the sappy boyband mp3s with the volume i want and the whole house is silent. This is the reality! *luxuriates in it* I feel so at peace with myself. Forget about the banner, forget about common tests. This isolation, this complete cut-off from anyone else- its relaxing. I feel as if i'm living in my own little world, where i can do whatever i want, and boundless possibilities are there for me.
this is it. when i get old enough. i'm going to buy a nice house in some countryside in a temperate country and live there with just my computer with internet, a dog and a huge backyard. Homosapians, back off! I make contact only when i want to. Alienation? not a bad thing at all, it seems.

today was quite a long day. went to band at 9. luckily it is the last band prac before the common tests. Bored-band connection i tell you. Hahaha. quite funny. yar, todae after band prac, had to listen to mr ho talk. he's such a wierd but nice man. then went back to bandrm, where me and swee were faced with so much scores that the librarians collected. we had to help organise them etc. i did all the sorting until my back aches. i never want to see another score again!
missed out the "games" for the yr1s juz so to arr. the scores. oh well. then went to KAP afterwards for some food. I want the Happy Meal Finding Nemo TOY! they were sold out :( squirt is so cute! haha~ and bubblegum sundae sux... i had to try cos it came with the fillet meal. v.tired, came home and slept before waking up to shower.
and my whole week is gone, again! i don't know how am i going to pass my common tests. *panic* Tues-guzheng. wed-nothing, at this moment. Thurs-project work. friday-guzheng. sat-going out wif mg427. one of the days for banner painting, most prob wed? arghz. i seriously need help for my maths... and econs. chinese too! chi. tests are the worsts. bad bad experienceS with 'em.

2 things happened today. 1. I broke a glass. 2.I thinned and trimmed my hair.
spent half an hour trying to clean up the accident by sweeping and vacuuming. the result was quite pretty actually. the glass broke in such a way it does not resemble the usual type of shards of glass. instead it broke into many small roundish bits...can't really describe. They are not sharp. on further inspection, they appeared to be broken internally too. maybe its due to the glass's composition? or thickness?
after that depressing blog.. went to the hair saloon near my house to do something to my hair. i was hesistating outside the saloon since i dun really need it, but decided wat the heck and went in.. i want a change or something. so in i went.. actually feels quite therapeutic to sit there for 30 mins doing nothing but stare blankly into the mirror while the hairdresser pulls, arranges and snips at my hair. i was very shocked at the end when i got down the chair and saw that massive pile of brown material on the floor. that WAS my hair? omg. my hair looks the same..but that much was thinned out? i think all that hair can be used to make a fur coat! The amazing hairdresser used one pair of scissors and a comb for the whole process too. i'm quite impressed! haha and the cut was not bad, my head feels lighter. *bounce*
crunching on one of my fav snacks. the small round orange ball that has specks of seaweed on it.. inside got peanut one. haha anyone ate that b4? nice rite? =D *crunch*

everytime when i read about other people's blogs, it seems like their lives are perfect; problem-free, unhassled. but is that really so? or rather is it because of the language expression. there are 2 types of blogs out there. those that throw in huge words that ring loud in every other sentence, or those with simplistic vocabulary filled with loads of "..."s trailing at the end of each sentence like an echo. but do they really express what a person feel like? who that person truly is?
i feel so hollow and empty all the sudden. yeah, recognise it as the downswing of my mood. siblings, friends, acquaintances, strangers. All the same ain't it? Life seems to be like this huge expanse of urban nightsky dotted with stars that are few but bright enough to pierce through the artificial lights from the city. Those stars are the happy memories that stay with me. I cherish them and place them close to my heart. Memories that goes a long way back. Ecstasy when we won a gold in 1998's SYF. band camps. orientation1. the gold in 2003 syf. Os results. working for those achievements.

why does alexis feel tired almost all the time? she went to band this morning. went thru all the stage band, and concert pieces. v.tired. oh its her grandmother's 84th birthday today! wow.. that's mind-blowing. 84! imagine. lynette came wif her bf to visit, and brought along a mango cake for grandma too, or they would not be celebrating it much..though there's a lot of food prepared and all that.
she's quite bothered about the banner for Etude concert. nobody seems to care, and the design is like so... either it will turn out v.nicely, or it will be like sh*t. what the hell. and there's the monday band activity in the afternoon for yr1s. sigh. she and swee were introduced to the Librarian's jobs todae... and it was a whole lot of mindless cataloging and paperwork. Sheesh. she half-regrets running for exco, and getting in. its the hols for goodness sake. why does she have to do all these kind of things? banner/concert...exco...project work... funfair games stall... and school homework/studying.

argh i have band tmr at 9.30! wat am i doing here at 2:13 in the morning? beats me. haha. v.tired. came home at 10. i fell asleep while waiting for my bro to finish bathing, so i woke up at 12.30 am to shower... shall go to sleep real soon.
went to nj in the morning to do some work for the funfair stall.. then went thru compre with ms chong in the library. then ate, went to atsb. stoned around there for a while before we headed to cine to watch Finding Nemo! I lurve that show. 8/10! hahaah Dory so cute and ditzy, and optimistic! her character is so nice. yeah and its damn farni. the talking in whale one and the Crush turtles in surfer slang. Way to go dude! hee~ yar.. and the graphics are breathtaking of course. Hee the seagulls.. mine~ mine~ mine~!
after that, had dinner at sumo bentos wif wl joining us. yeah. played around wif jm and yl's camera phones. sigh~ i wan a phone that can take photos! so nice!

todae when maths lec was finally over, i had this empty packet of peanuts in the front seat, so beat was like "your nuts!" when i forgot to take it away. hahahaha then i almost immediately replied "yar." back. oh the thousand and one allusions or connotations? to that two words! Hahaha. Sharon took it as, "you are nuts" while beat was laughing at my split second reply, while i was laughing at "my nuts" since i dun have any! LOL wat a funny incident. why do we always have hilarious episodes like that? hee~ a million and gazillion ones of them.. eg. the neoprint incident.
the weather is damn nice now! it rained, it is windy.. and gloomy. hahah and i'm hungry. i think i'm gonna watch Finding Nemo later wif my bro! hahaha it rox having a cinema just 10 mins away from your house. =) anywae, had lit. and maths lec, followed by band todae. maths lec was utterly useless for me since i did not listen to a single word ah bek said. hahaha. led me to wonder why me and sharon(sleeping) did not pon the last 1.5 hr of the lec like wat half of the lec theatre did.
