at rux's house now using the computer while she's watching american idol finale which i watched in the morning already, for the first hour. anyway loads of things happened these few days la, just no monitor cos i can't blog and so you can't get to read. but man am i exhausted. i slept for 2 hours today. alright so i should just list what happened these few days starting from the night i came back from bangkok.

friday: i can't remember much but i think i didn't do much, i.. erm, did not go for nie prac. instead it was a midnight movie, Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith for me. Awesome. i'm not a starwars fan at all but it was awesome. those lightsabers and action and yoda (damn cute!!!) haha yes the force was with me.

saturday: went for a job interview. job's about asking street pple to fill in a lucky draw coupon with certain details for it to be a Qualified form. i'll get 1 buck for 1 form and 40 bux if the person who was called up by the telemarketer and showed up for the presentation. sounds pretty good, imagine in a day if you have 30 Qs and 1 person showing up you earn 70 bucks already. sounds easy rite? after that i went for a dentist consultation. i'm getting braces! yay! haha. then met up with zq for dinner and partied the night away and reached home at 5am? oops.

sunday: rested i think.

monday: a wedding lunch at this vegetarian restaurant at liat towers. food was baad. give me my meats! after which its shopping shopping with rux and then dinner with zq. swensens, our fav. restaurant.

tues: ok today is bad. i went for the job training and i was told that for the form to be a Q the person has to be 28yrs n above, married/engaged, have a major credit card and a combined income of 4k. freak. how to find? i can't be bothered. and i lost my motivation to work. so anyway i stayed with my very new colleague (she's such a nice gal, our age) and she told me stuff and yeah in the end i decided to quit. supervisor was a bitch anyway.

wednesday: wat did i do? oh i went with rux to bugis to check out a waitressing job advertised in the classifieds but apparently when we got there they told us they need pple who can work for long term, not like 1 month. riight. we shd have asked properly before going down. so after that we ate, shopped a bit and then went home.

back home after dinner and american idol met up with the gang wl jm cy at prata house. after that we decided to go to town to have a drink or go party or something but we ended up at the esplanade merlion there drinking 7-up mixed with 2 mini bottles of vodka (vanilla and citroen). nice. with chips. played cards, talked, listened to handphone radio.. haha.

after that we decided to walk to lau pa sat and surprise! the AC Milan Vs Liverpool match was on! so jm wanted to watch and erm, we watched. it was super cold.. and cy's old ginger jokes r not helping. hilarious though the way he was so amused by that joke. hmm. hahaha hilarious. and the match was so TTLL (tuo tuo la la). 90 mins 3 all then 30 mins extra time no goal then penalty. liverpool won in the end though jm said milan will win. ha! the ones in red stand an advantage. its a scientifically proven fact!

they wanted to catch the bus instead of cabbing (groans whines grumbles) even though it was drizzling and super cold. so after walking miles and miles we found a bus stop with buses that goes to our area. reached home at 7.30, showered, and its american idol live! i wanted to catch the results but after 1 hour i couldn't stand it so i went to sleep at 9am.

woke up at 12 nn to meet rux to go for some educational fair promotor interview. stupid man tells me meeting's postponed!!! wth!! i'm out already! so bo bian la we went for lunch at mos at amk then i came over to rux house for fun. whee. severe sleep deprivation, and by the length of this blog post, severe blogging deprivation too. ok going to watch am. idol 2nd half now. bye.

My computer monitor went kaput so i can't blog temporarily until i purchase one.

hi pple, i'm back!

i originally wanted to blog down my journal from my trip to bangkok but right now i feel so darn lazy. and anyway i don't think u guys will be interested in it too. general summary- i had fun, i bought stuffs (but not enuff!) and its been really memorable. fancy embarking on a trip to a foreign country all by yourself with your friend w/o anyone to guide you! and how we 2 blurpoks got around on our own is a miracle! haha.

anyway so today is friday. i have about 1 and a half months to work my ass off so that i can have enough money to travel again. which means i desperately need a job that gives me minimum 50 bux a day. i shall not be picky about my job. as long as i get 50 bux a day i'll do it. so readers, if you see this and you know of any lobang pls tell me. meanwhile i'll just call up the Recruit ads.

I am finally going to travel! YES!

destination: Bangkok, Thailand.
duration: 4D3N mon morning to thurs night.
cost: 219 for airfare, hotel, daily breakfast, halfday tour on 2nd day, rest is F&E. add in airport taxes, services etc and its 338.

freaking superduper excited. on our own, with my buddy zq! just the 2 of us, exploring the culture and land of the City of Angels. i can't wait to shop, to sightsee, to take the Skytrain. i want to go there with just the clothes i have on and an empty luggage case. sadly, i am super super poor and broke so that's not gonna happen. but i'm going to take loads and loads of pictures and eat authentic tom yam and say sawadikap. yaaaaaaaaaaay! FINALLY!

right. i wanted rant about office workers and their no-lifeness and how hardened they are and blind to other people and how oblivious and pathetic they look during lunch hours zooming by looking oh-so-busy-i-can't-walk-slower like little bees about their little lives but.. i might become one of them one day and should shut my mouth. god forbid that i become an office worker. i'll just rot and die and give off a really putrefying stench.

so anyways there's like another biggie hoo-ha recently about blogs, in general. finally, the media has caught on huh. oops. i mean, offline media. yeah so there's the article about xx on the chinese zaobao (i can only look at the pit-chers, reading chinese words gives me a headache.) and ST reporting about tomorrow.sg and the recent spate of legal issues following some ex-scholar who said inappropriate words on his blog. or something. rriiight.

i've decided that my blog shall remain hugely personal and very public-unfriendly. that means i will continue on about what-i-did-today-it-was-so-fun until i'm like 65 and suffering from arthritis.

abercrombie and fitch/hollister should just open a store in singapore and ship in some clothes. the amount of A&F stuffs here are seriously in high demand and in low supply! that equals to high prices. and its like their clothes are so nice, i just dun get why local brands can't like.. emulate them or take after their style. its so perfect for sunny singapore with our own beaches. instead we have like a few pieces here and there carried in shops like hula & co. and they are not even like. this season.

anyhoo, got mama a cake for mother's day. ok, actually i just paid for it. my bro went to get it from amk central. and its super super delicious! its light and fluffy and chocolatey. yum. it was from the ex-Kingston bakeshop in amk.

re-watching oc season 1. its just that great.
