went out on marathon shopping wif faith today. :) came upon this with a sms- and it all begins.. haha. enjoyed myself very much wif her around, and i bought stuff that made me happy! not clothes or anything in the end, but i bought a small handbag, a pair of earrings, and 2 etude e/s! yaay! haha maybe cos i din prepare myself for big spending so i din really overdo it like i did last time at far east. haah but i'm so gonna be prepared next time. far east, my nemesis, here i come! wuahaha.
was quite irritated by charity donators when i was waiting for faith at orchard mrt though. wah i was like accosted by 5 of them from the same bloody charity asking me to donate. and its not even some famous charity.. nv heard before one, asking u to buy lucky draw tix for 2 bux. my foot. they are probably a sham charity, since the pple who asked me to donate r all well dressed, trendy and young. i mean, if they r not there for the pay, then something is wrong. i was like "no thanks, no, thanks, no, NO!" to them in the end. i felt quite mean lah but seriously they are too irritating. oh and read beat's post about overpopulation. my sentiments exactly!
haha we saw this really hot guy aka james and faith's like totally head over heels over him. i think it was the jumping-over-the-fence thingy that did the trick :P. haha so farni. hm, ate ya kun toast and barley. clinique happy!

just finished with Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier. a good book, i'll have to give beatrice credit for recommending that. i almost forgot how it feels like to have my heart beating at each word as the plot progresses into the crucial stage. The ending of the book is also quite good, it really never does tell you what happened in black and white but lets u guess, though its quite sad. style's similar to Jane Eyre too, in the romantic gothic fashion. the rhododendron pic i posted in the previous entry was also due to the description of them in the book, plus various other flora and fauna.
today's nie prac was alright. played 3 songs. the nie tbonists r good~ they've got the power. haiz must learn more to be like them.. tone, expressiveness, volume.. haha actually the prac was enjoyable :) cos we produced music.
gonna go to sch tmr at 10 for ogl meeting for skit~ am beginning to regret this ogl thingy. mebbe cos i'm influenced by xiuwen. but i'm gonna try to look on the bright side of it and things will not be so bad rite? a little committment and i'm scared. lousy you, alexis! get a grip on!
lol they r having this Critters 3 movie on. its a old old show, starring leonardo dicaprio when he's a kid! haha he rox. anywae this is the show that gave me nightmares when i was a kid. i can still vividly remember the black, furry balls with teeth chasing me and my family. moral of the story? never let children watch horror shows when they are young. it scares them.

appreciate, my dear. appreciate the glow of the sunset, smiles on happy faces, cool cool cool of the evening or the tasty food. drink in all you can, and be thankful. forget all the sorrows, leave them behind you as u would carelessly brush a fallen leaf of your hair. love, and be loved. feel it with all your senses, the joy of living, of touching, smelling, hearing, seeing and tasting. after all, whats there to regret? wats done is done, get over it and learn from it.
make the best out of what you have, and that is surely something you will never regret.

today was spent in a haze of turpentine, green gradients and sticky hands. haha went sch to paint ogl clan banner todae. our clan's Eleusis! damn zai name rite. pronounced as ee-lu-sis. at least we din get the lemon- oops, lemnos clan. haha. our board/banner was quite pathetic though, but considering we only had 3 pple painting compared to the rest. haha and ours was the Wella girl one.
the rest of the clan names beside eleusis(green) and lemnos (red) r delphi(yellow), sparta(orange), athens(purple) and corinth(blue). greek theme olympia i think. yeah. damn tired after painting. try bending ur back for 2 hrs and see how it feels.
ytd was travelling to the other side of singapore.. went downtown east then tampines there to watch the guys play pool. ha. that pool place was converted from a movie theatre. got a lot of chiobus! ahah and dere's this guy in blue shirt at a nearby table that is super shuai~! haha so i guess i wasn't bored waiting for the guys to play. the atmosphere's good. the chinese pop songs they play r nice though i seldom listen to them. that guy looks like a combi of Lee Hom, MTV VJ Utt and Keanu Reeves! all 3 which, btw, are damn shuai!
oh btw, don't you think the Pepsi's Energy Cola advert juz rock?

PW's OVER!
this is a cause for general celebration that should be done in a huge huge way. pple, stand up and say Chihuahua! (or u can have a huge banquet just like in the end of every Asterix story). No more chanting of "PW sux!" everytime you think bout it, no more meetings with a certain some1. Yay! this is great man. haha i bet blog entries of everyone who finishes project work will most probably be in a celebratory and carefree mood.
though it sux, i'm glad everything turned out well in the end. we did ok, and i feel that in comparision to the other classes, ours were of higher standards. some of the credit, i must admit reluctantly, must go to our CT. yes, we all have strong feelings towards her but we must also recognise her efforts and thank her for making sure we are doing the right thing, even though she IS still an unreasonable bitch. haha. its really been a rough ride throughout the year for us and pw can be termed as the trials and tribulations of yr1s man.
life is bright again! just like the light drizzle that washed away the day's dust and dirt to reveal the cooling and clean exterior, we are reborn into our lives, free to frolick in careless abandon and indulge in mindless fancies. i have so much things planned. my nov/dec is filled with events! haha plus slack days of course. oh, and i think i'm gonna invent something i had in mind for a long time. see if its gonna work :)
and btw do u noe that Lucy Liu's full name's Lucy Alexis Liu? Funky! haha gonna watch my d/led Kill Bill and my Infernal Affairs 2! ytd nite's Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo was hilarious. dun ask me why, but rob schneider really does a great job at doing idiotic stuff.

was too tired yesterday to blog. reached home at around 10.20..missed the premiere of Punk'd, sad. *big sigh* project work sux like mad. was piaing like a workaholic at ailin's house ytd till bout 9. its so last minute but its cos we dun have enuff time~! why PW after promos, and before CLAO? haven started studying lor, now at comp lab cos chinese teacher went through the mcqs and let us have free time, hence the leisure to blog.
i think i'm super impatient. i recognise that as one of my character traits.
i have an active imagination too. haha this was what went thru my mind as i sat in the 187 bus to woodlands ytd nite..
suddenly, there is silence. the sounds of honking cars and screeching tires as well as engine sounds are conspicuously absent. I opened my eyes and looked around in the bus. i am the only passenger and though i can feel the wheels on the road the bus is like a speeding capsule. The driver is a shadowy block that cannot be clearly seen. The roar of the diesel drinking animal is muted. There is a eerie green cast in the fluorescent lights and it is cold. Looking out of the windows, all i can see was thick darkness. No orange dots of streetlamps, no bright spots of carlights. It was all dark. Pinpricks of fear spread through my nerves like a expanding ink blot as i felt a chill behind me and i turned around...

hey hey hey, i got promoted? did i tell you this wonderful piece of news? i passed my econs! did that come as something new to you? haha i'm quite satisfied wif my results la.. got "BOCE" plus gp b3 and clao a2. *bright beam* failed my maths though, but expected. hahaz no tuition no grade ya? hm.. surprised at my lit too, tot i'll get like borderline pass.. think m4m pulled me up. din get back that paper yet.
was super surprised at my human geog la.. i got 78%! can u freakin' believe that? wth rite? haha but i felt good after the paper.. but i only predicted mebbe 60% i happy liao..phy was 51% though. sighz. such a huge gap, 27%! no wonder ting was mad at me. now i'm wondering if i should like appeal for geog 'S' since its my bez sub.. or lit 'S'? the latter sounds more interesting but my lit cannot make it.. got C.. haiz sian. dun see the pt in s papers though.
anywae, had a super fun dio lit todae. we played win lose or draw! haha damn farny. haresh cannot draw! so can't ailin and beat! but still v.cute~ haha and we won, technically. but in reality the other grp won. ha cos mr dio's maths is twisted. hm.. can't find Newsweek's "Boom Towns" for geog. darn went borders todae dun have. before that me and ailin went to the nat. lib to do some secondary research. aihz, PW sux.
