ah another rainy afternoon! the wind is strong, the rain heavy. yeah! haha oh and i juz did my GP essay, finally. haha sense of achievement! gonna do my econs essay, and start on my dio's essay later in the night. 3 essay a day! man that is gonna seriously deplete me of my brain cells.
and yup, it hits you in the head like a sledgehammer- sch's starting tmr! xarks man. but can't wait to see all my classmates again. haha yup always can't wait to see them after hols, esp beat and sharon! 3 weeks to promos and it'll all be over. cannot imagine my maths.. sigh. nv study that at all during hols, but i can't when i dun understand rite?
finished George Orwell's 1984 finally. chim, but nice. the ending's quite disturbing. sigh. Animal Farm runs along the same line too. ending oso a bleak one. oh and i've been wanting to read Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov. Anybody got and lend me? too lazy to go and reserve from lib. leh. another one is From the Land of the Green Ghosts by Pascal Khoo Thwe cos Mr. Barber recommended it. bah. no time for them until after promos!

ok now's my turn to gush about the movie after watching it with rux. Pirates of the Caribbean! To all yer swashbuckin' bucaneers, its a must sea! wad can i say? the actors inside are fantastic(not to mention, good looking), the movie's a combi of everything, from action, comedy, romance to horror! haha. and i was like laughing thru the show. damn funny that johnny depp aka captain jack sparrow aka smith. oh and keira knightly's damn chio and she's only 18? man. orlando bloom's got the "legolas" part in the show again. haha make him look v.sei. hee. Overall rating, 4.5/5! yeah! its that good. well, you can don't catch it and miss out on the greatest pirate movie of all times, or you can go down to the cinema ASAP and have a throughly enjoyable time. your choice.
n'wae, though the movie's great, i still haven start stardee-ing yet! oh no. i shall term tmr as "Mug Day" k. nothing can drag me out of the house. *groanz* what shall i start on? maths? econs? geog? lit? and i have hw. one thing at a time. arh i'm hungry. feed me pls.

went to 4 hawker centres to do interviews today for PW. phew. newton, farrer rd, queenstown and ghim moh. i ate in 3 out of 4 of them. slaughter me, pls! haha. such a piggie. yeah. oh well. me and ailin were very lucky. we managed to bump into the chairman of the hawkers' association of queenstown! haha what a wonderful bit of luck for our PW.
am now trying to decide whether i should rebond my hair not. should i? should i? sigh. i'll miss my slightly wavy hair though, but i'm sick of its unruly behaviour and frizzy ways. ok, i have till thurs to decide. haha either i do that or i cut my hair really really short. and i spike it too. LOL. that'll definitely be more interesting. think i can pass off as a butch? :P

i came home mentally exhausted to the point when i juz dropped into the warm oblivion of sleep for 3 straight hours. ugh. had 3 hours of measure 4 measure and 3 straight hours of physical geog on plate tectonics. talk about revolting. i was fidgeting all the way thru lit. time passes by really really sloowwlly. then i was like rotting in geog, before stoning, finally i tot i quite be well qualified to join the continental crusts and drift about wif them. switched off after the 2nd hour. don't see how interesting it is to predict that, wow, in like another 50 billion gazillion years, like, our tectonic plates are gonna be at another place! yeah, right.
its happily raining now. i love the rain. i am no sunshiny girl. give me dark, wind and torrential rain, anytime. how dramatic can nature be with the boring ol' sunshine and chirpy little birds? its the wind, the moving sweep of action through everything, the drenching tears of heaven. ah that's what i call nature.

The devil's Advocate smiled at me. Hell-o, he said. Fine, chiselled features lined his handsome face as he moved with natural grace to allow me in. He was well-built and tall with mesmerising eyes that captivated my very soul. The place he was beckoning me to was a like the World Under The Blanket. Dark, comforting, suffocating. Bright spots of red light popped up behind my eyelids and i was a lost balloon, floating aimlessly till i burst.
"Here you will find yourself numb, numb of everything. You are oblivious to suffering and of course, ignorant of joy. Instead you will find yourself wallowing in a sea of endless void. Take your time, for you have all of it now."
I gazed, i stared, i felt in the dark. The dark has no boundaries, i realised. If you stare at it long enough you find yourself losing it because there is no focus, no purpose. Wondering how i got here, i seemed to recall back a time of faint laughter tinged with implicable sadness. Was that my life? I don't care.

yoz reader, how's life? haha all thanks to beat and sharon had a great dae. lurve these two gurls! had a lovely day in school cos 1. its a friday(!), 2.its the last day of term(!!), 3.there's nice lessons and nothing like econs, phy geog, paper8 lit.. to spoil it. hahaha and i ate beef pie and 3-flavour Venezia gelato. Mine was Rum n Raisins, Belgian Choco and Mango. Yuuumm. heee. a great way to end your term, i'll say. yeah.
oh ya, i really wanna watch Pirates of the Caribbean! kept reading bout it and stuff. seems like it's a good movie to catch. strange that there's sinbad too. so pirate-y..later i go buy pirated VCDs and watch! haha geddit? *laffs silly-y* considering Legally Blonde 2..hmz. reese witherspoon's so fake. dunno if i can stand 2 hrs of her with her tottering on ridiculous heels or her outrageous fashion statements.
reading George Orwell's 1984 now(halfway thru). faith lent me the book. so far so good, its been an interesting perspective. Totalitarian terror. Hmmz. think i'll juz die if i was to subject to that. communism is like the worst thing that can happen to a country, i think. look at russia, look at USA. compare and contrast. oh, and i finished Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix on sunday. same old plot used for the 5th time now. sigh. 3rd book still the nicest! and this 5th book is so thick with useless stuff. Keanu Reeves is damn sexy, my goodness. haha out-of-point(OOP!) but yeah happened to chance upon his photo juz now. but Utt will always be the most yandao! but i heard a rumour tat he's GAY! MAN! ><

one more day before the hols! yay can't wait. was dreadfully tired out this week. how come nobody told me jc life's like this? 2 tests.. project work.. homework.. but hey i managed to pull thru it anyways! hee. and the weather's nice too, starting with that huge huge downpour on tuesday morning. That was one violent act of nature! and that dae was so freezin' cold we were all adopting poses with arms crossed to prevent the hairs on the arm from standing at attention. Brr. Following that the days have been particularly breezy. Makes sleeping that much easier.
i miss shopping. bah i wanna get going again! haha like last sundae. oh and did u notice? i pierced my ear! right cartilage. contrary to popular belief, it is NOT painful. I'm serious! i felt quite ok.. and it looks damn nice too! haha so pple who r thinking of doing it, juz do it lah! hee. far east bits and pieces.. /hole. i was all blue on tues too cos i was wearing my new blue shoe (it rhymes!), blue watch, blue hairband and the piercing stud was blue! haha. going thru the phase of blueification now that pinkification was almost over.
oh yeah and a shoutout to the peepz out there!

"Look! A hummingbird in the sky! Can you see it, hovering and weaving in and out of the violet bursts of delight?" I tugged at my friend's arm to grab her attention. The sky was an azure blue with fluffy white clouds drifting by occasionally. Puffs of delicious wind cooled the napes of our neck as we strolled on the open field with wildflowers dotting its grass-carpeted surface. We were talking and laughing without a care in the world, breathing in huge lungfuls of clean fresh air. Birds soared overhead and the leaves rustled as in the distance a red little cottage sat snugly on the warm earth. We keep walking, hearts open and expectant, towards that welcoming destination. Walking, walking, laughing and joking.
I wake up and regretted.

went to far east and bleeded my wallet dry. shh.. no one is supposed to noe that i'm a spendthrift. haha bought so much stuff i surprised myself. lemme see.. 1 pair of shoes, 3 tops, 1 skirt, 3 hair elastic. plus yesterdae's earrings and watch. Hm. haha yup and try and notice the diff bout me on tues. :)

anywae, here's a piece of wonderful news that mr. ho told us. We(the band) might go to Switzerland next june hols!!! can u believe that? oh man. i will do anything juz to go. the swiss alps! haha really really hope that we can go. *crosses fingers* yeah. pray for us too ya.
