Aries love compliments and tend to gravitate towards unrestricted, lively people. They are outgoing and active. If you plan a date with an Aries, be prepared to stay out late and have some fun, as they are filled with energy, and love excitement.
Generally, they like to think of themselves as intellectuals, therefore, the best way to excite an Aries is to approach them on a intellectual level. They are aggressive and passionate. However, be forewarned that an Aries has a tendency to be jealous and when in love, wants quite a bit of your time, if not all of it. They love to be asked for their advice and will give you as much time, guidance, and sympathy that you need. Their advice is usually given straight forth and without hesitation. Although they are frank and candid, an Aries will gladly share their opinions with you.
An absolute definite way to end a relationship with an Aries is to start dictating or even more so, dominating them. They hate it. In addition, never give them orders. Not only do they not take orders well, but most likely they won't even listen. Known to be independent, the Aries will be a trustworthy, loyal and exciting partner.
its a tad chilly now. the heavens are on the verge of raining since the late afternoon. highlight of the day was Mr. Dio's lit. lesson, him being to hilarious every other second i couldn't help laughing out loud. Haha i'm so thanking my lucky stars to have a teacher like him! Oh wellz, school started for the sec sch today, so no more watching my siblings rot at home all day while i rot in school. Hah.
went to collect my jiang3 xue2 jing1 yesterday from the zhong clan association that my father (and i?) is in. horrible experience. its always this bunch of going-going-gone ah peks tottering about in the incense-smelling, run down clan house with photos of dead ancestors hung all over the place. All the while when i was there i was thinking about how the place will look if its renovated. In another words, torn down and rebuilt again. The space can really be fully utilised. i bet if they spend a bomb on it, the "younger generation" (as they call us) will automatically start flocking in. Imagine, a pool table instead of the karaoke set, or an air-coned recreation room instead of the mahjong table in a messy room.
pool at monster was fun, even though i took quite a lot of time to figure out where's monstercue1. haha i'm such a blur queen sometimes. I'm good at pool! at least, that's what i think. (just consoling myself, don't worry) haha. with the right cue(smooth and slick, baby~!), the right atmosphere(no elbows, or jabbing every other second), and the right opponent. Yeah~! =)
anyway, homework is slowly but steadily piling up. GP got 2 paragraph to write about SARS *rolls eyes* and elit have to figure out and do PC on this Snow poem. how the hell do i know what to right? argh. i hate not understanding a poem and being asked to crap about it. maths? quite ok, was listening. somehow formed the habit of paying attention in maths lessons from ms. poore's lessons, i guess. Hope it stays that way. Econs? hw too. tutorials *groanz*
there's the council nominations going on too! actually already had a list of who i'm going to vote, though i haven't heard half of the nominees' speeches. Oh well, some seriously CannotMI, but nevermind, i shall not elaborate.

Courtest of min's email, enjoy`!---
In the hospital the relatives gathered in the waiting room, where their family member lay gravely ill.
Finally, the doctor came in looking tired and somber. "I'm afraid I'm the bearer of bad news," he said as he surveyed the worried faces. "The only hope left for your loved one at this time is a brain transplant. It's an experimental procedure, very risky but it is the only hope. Insurance will cover the procedure, but you will have to pay for the brain yourselves."
The family members sat silent as they absorbed the news.
After a great length of time, someone asked, "Well, how much does a brain cost?" The doctor quickly responded, ",000 for a male brain, and 0 for a female brain."The moment turned awkward.
Men in the room tried not to smile, avoiding eye contact with the women, but some actually smirked. A man, unable to control his curiosity, blurted out the question everyone wanted to ask, "Why is the male brain so much more?"
The doctor smiled at the childish innocence and explained entire group, "It's just standard pricing procedure. We have to mark down the price of the female brains, because they've actually been used."
---i'll just leave a quick post here. Ytd was friday.. normal i guess. our geog lesson was from 3 to 4 though, and we had 2 hrs of free periods in between, plus 1hr coz ms chan was absent for maths lesson. 3 hours in total! so after lit lecture, a01 stayed in the lt3.. haha learnt how to play the 5-pple daidee. LOL such a funny game. i was "rubbish" -_- very fun though! stoned all the way to 3... geog was quite fun too, with mr barber. =) think we almost got all our teachers back except mr tong our pe teacher!
there's band today. in fact it ended at 3.15.. i just reached home. the SYF band com is not postponed for JC! Its still on the 7th of May. >.< and njsb is still like so slack, i feel. shouldn't we practise more? *unconfident feeling* anywae, later going to meet the atsb peepz for dinner at pasta mania~! =) it'll be nice.. but there'll only be a few pple attending. oh wellz, i shall go eat some homemade sushi now, so ciao~!
-=questions=-Thursday, April 10, 2003 | 09:29 p.m.
today is such a wierd day. Many things happened today that are sort of unusual. Oh and btw, things in A01 are getting better. Today is much more fun than ytd. The class is not as dead as i tot.. guess pple need time to open up. Which leads me to this. The dilemma that has already escaped my control. Its all up to fate now.
firstly, i nearly lost my hp. forgot to take it with me and it was lying underneath my desk for one hour while i was attending lit. lec. if someone called me/msg me, my phone would have vibrated and dropped on the floor, or it could have be stolen! But it didn't. oh and my phone hanged a grand total of 7 times today, which is quite ironic coz last night i was just telling jm that my 8310 doesn't hang much. Hmz i wonder what's wrong.
had chinese lessons for the first time in like.... 4 months? its been a long while since someone talked so much chinese to me at one go. >.< can't get used to it.. hahah. seems like we spend more time waiting and wasting it away than attending lessons. today mr. lee was mistaken about the time and he came at 2.15 instead of 1.15. then i forgot all about PE today and was spared from running 2 rounds, but PE ended after the 2 laps coz its the 1st PE(another unusual occurance) wore my gray uni running around the bball court after PE. quite fun, the guys were outnumbered by us.. haha most of us just strolled half-heartedly on the court, but for me it feels good just to be in the sun and exert a bit.
then there was the humanities scholarship thing. i wished the computer did not messed things up and put me in A01 in the first place, if i had to do go for it. the rest are in A03! So i went for the briefing this morning at 7.15 about the interview later in the afternoon. I was told that if i get it, i'll be transferred to A03! but the results will only come out on the 22nd. Oh the agony. Why am i to choose? So all of today i was wondering whether to screw up my interview delibrately. In the end, i decided to go for the interview. Lessons ended at 4.15, so i have 1 hr to get to buona vista. I was thinking if i'm late i'll just forget it. i went for it, cos i took up geog as a subject instead of physics all because of the scholarship thing. like karen said, just leave it all to fate to decide my future.
i reached and barely made it. I reached and was immediately told i was the next interviewee. I'm the last for the day too. That is quite.. and i was the first NJ to be interviewed that day. so wierd! TJ's vice principal, a MOE guy and this literature sector lady was in the room. i was quite nervous. Enuff to screw up the interview? I hope so. the VP asked me quite a lot of questions.. what are the qualities of a humans scholar? do u think i have the qualify for one? is the humanities prog. contained in the college? and my cca was not humanities related, she pointed out. Then the MOE guy asked me what my future career will be, and how do i apply myself to my cca if humanities is concerned about pple and social skills. I dunno.. everything was in a haze. That's roughly what they asked. I only knew i gave them standard eng.oral length answers..its a 5-min interview. crapped a lot, but i did try my best to think thru and answer the ques as i want to have no regrets. I'll leave it to fate to decide for me, not my performance.
phew. Now that its over and done wif i have no more worries. i'll just commit myself to A01 and hope for the best. what ever it is, i'll take it in my stride. super tired now. Try taking an hour long bus ride from buona vista to amk. >.< haven't be so worn out for a long long time.

well well, i've officially got past the first day of school after the sars hols. I shan't say much just that i was quite disappointed by the lack of enthusiasm and bond the new A01 have. but then again, everyone has a part to play if they wan A01 to be happening right? ok, shan't whine and bitch like what i was telling karen i'll do. Haha. guess everyone's tired from all that exertion after hibernating at home for so long. i was dead beat when i reach home too, and i shall have a early night.
came home from school and finished my book. Done. Oh, btw, 03A01 now has 7 guys, 14 gals, around half history half geog, CT is ms teo and we got basically the same teachers for all the subject. at least we got ms chong! *cheers!*
oh ya, did i mention that i finally single-handedly made a new layout, which is wat you are staring at. haha. i made it in less than an hour! Its quite an accomplishment and i feel quite satisfied. Simple, but nice? haha. picture courtesy of deviantart.com, using adobe photoshop and notepad. Haha~! getting the hang of it! look out for more to come! >.< ooh juz realised sch started. ok... *deflated*
-=final countdown day12=-Tuesday, April 8, 2003 | 10:36 p.m.
today is the last day of the sars hols. Not sure if i'm happy or sad. Mixed feelings i guess. Oh wellz, went to Mr. Yea's chalet today to visit him. and before that we went to the Red House!!! *horror music in background* haha nothing scary about it though, juz that it was isolated and very deserted. The house is quite big. It is actually like a compound, with the toilet house and all. There's even a well! well, sort of. Haha. YUp. jm, wenli,cy and benson they all bought me a cake! haha was quite surprised. kinda belated but it still feels sweet! Thanks guys~! the chalet was quite big. It's the ALohA Loyang chalets at Pasir Ris. We talked and chatted the afternoon away. His kids are so cute! yup and the weather is so... on and off. One moment its nice and sunny and the next moment it was pouring.
went to get jm's new repaired phone at PS after that. Reached home around 9. Yup.. haha his phone is not bad! the volume of the polyphonic tone can be louder though. haha. Congrats on ur phone, jm~!
yawnz. i think i'll have an early night. Can't wait to see what tmr has in store for me. School! =D

Requiem
noun
1: a song or hymn of mourning composed or performed as a memorial to a dead person [syn: dirge, coronach, lament, threnody]
2: a musical setting for a Mass celebrating the dead [syn: Requiem]
3: a Mass celebrated for the dead [syn: Requiem]
oh, did i mention i changed my layout again last night? haha i'm so fickle-minded. I did the picture for this one myself though. As in, i chose this picture from deviantart.com, fiddled around wif it using adobe and used the format of the entry from another site. Call it a fusion done by alexis. Haha.
nothing much going on, school starting in 1 day. Yippee. Haha. Its going to rain soon. the skies are overcast and threatening to pour its content right down to sunny singapore. Nice wind! Trying to find Sarah McLachlan's Angel mp3 to put up. Its such a slow, heart-tugging song. Sigh. Oh.. and there's this 19 yr old celebrity called Alexis Bledel from the Gilmore Girls. i din noe such a person existed, but checking out the pictures, boy here eyes are damn nice. Hahaha the only thing in common between us is the name, and mine's not even official. Blargh.
-=day ten=-Monday, April 7, 2003 | 12:07 a.m.
its been two days since i've added an entry. I just typed a lot when the whole IE closes cos i'm installing some shockwave. the reason? i reformatted my com, which is also the reason i haven been online for a day. also, i borrowed books...finished 2 of them in 2 days. Borrowed Measure for Measure out of sheer obligation for eng. literature hw. My this entry will be short....i don't want to retype everything again. haha.
i have coloured scrollbars now because i installed IE 6! Wooohooo~!!!
went to visit peihua at beautyworld, shop n save coz i was reasonably bored. went around 4, then she took an hour long break wif me at macs. talked and talked. haha we went back and continued talking, she occasionally grabbing the passerby's attention and asking "excuse me, would u like the try the new vanilla coke?" while wearing a listerine t-shirt she had for a previous promotion. Hahaha. it was raining so heavily that i did not leave, until she got off work at 8. It wasn't my intention to stay so long, but i couldn't bear to leave her alone there. it was so cold at the supermarket, i was literally shivering. Not to mention the bus i took was also another Antartica, juz that it was mobile. >.<
my bedtime's at 4 AM, i wake at 12 nn just in time for breakfast. Oh my...tell me how to get ready for school? Impossible.
-=day eight=-Friday, April 4, 2003 | 01:57 p.m.
hmz, looking back, i think sounded kinda forlorn and whiney don't i? according to my testimonial, i'm uncomplaining, so i've archived that entries and decided to get on with my life manz~! Now that its over, i'm feeling happier and being 17 is not so bad after all... since school is starting in a few days and i can't wait!
rudely woken up this morning by the funeral procession next block. Ugh. Do they have to use drums, trumpets, saxophones, cymbals, more drums, more bells to play music to the dead? i mean... if it was me i'll rather have a winamp player beside my coffin playing me all my fav. pop hits. Not all that din.. it irritates the whole neighbourhood! That's what they called in chinese, cao2 si2 ren3!=waking up the dead with the noise! >.< its over now, thank goodness.
shall return my library books later. and go for my gz lesson. Getting new "nails"!(for the guzheng playing) Yay. haha want to feel the difference. 2 more days to sch reopening~! WooHoo~!
