some quiz results, courtesy of sher! :D
You represent... playfulness.
Playfulness can often be mistaken for sluttiness or flirtiness... Flirting is something you enjoy doing, but you're mostly just about having fun. You're into partying, and it's seems that people enjoy your company as much as you enjoy their's.
What feeling do you represent?

hahah i juz went to beat's blog and saw this irresistable quiz, so i'm gonna add it in..
You're the super-slacker!!
Homework?
What's that? Studying? Not in your vocabulary.
You hardly study and almost never do your work
and yet, by some divine intervention, you're
still surviving. And you come to school so un-
often, your teachers have pratically forgotten
that you even exist. Go, you slacker, you!!
Which Stereotypical Singaporean Student Are You?
brought to you by Quizilla
hahaha. now that's kinda accurate, no surprises here, i'm hardly the model student type, hee~ but think doug will fit the description the most! haha at least i turn up for maths lec(spent it laffing at beat's jokes though) haha. saw a joke on tv juz now.. Q: A coconut and a durian falls on your head. Which one will hurt more? hahah and the answer is... your head! hee. shall put beat's super super funny joke here next time..

its the first official day of school and everything happens at once. got caught by SP for the 5th time, first thing in the morning!(assembly).. she suddenly popped up behind me and gave me a fantastical fright. i think her qigong is superb, or she have had practice all along, cos i din noe she's behind me until she tapped me on my shoulder! ARGH! its the usual multiple ear rings and coloured socks(pink, hee).. but when she mentioned my hair i'm like.. cos its not my fault that my hair happens to look like its brown and dyed.. blame it on my parents!
then went for econs lecture, and was lectured by bryan ang for our econs common test performance. haha. oh well, i'm indifferent to the "you are the worst batch that i've ever gotten" thingy.. haha we are "exceptional" wat. mcq was like a disaster, and essay even worst. elasticity of demand is the responsiveness of the qty demanded of a good to changes in its price! that's a discovery..all along i thought it was changes in demand. ah well.
then got back human geog paper! nice. haha barber's like the only teacher that gives out marks like they are free(which they are, anywae). i got a 26/45... juz missed my B by 1 mark! argh but thats better than when i first got the script back, cos barber forgot to add 4 more marks and it was 22/45 at first. then i was like quite disappointed i fail, by half a mark somemore! haha then i was so happy by the four mark increase!
then... ran a lap for pe before settling to play some tennis, since teacher was not there. haha i am still figuring out the technicalities of tennis. not to worry, i might soon discover how to hit the huge green ball with the racket soon. then got back our econs mcq. passed by 1 mark! but oh well, like that's gonna help.. since essay's gonna drag the whole thing down anywae (rumored that the whole cohort failed due to essay..) haha.
i shouldn't have gone for chinese! the 2-hr chinese was an absolute waste of time. the teachers were absent cos they had to go for the chinese oral exam stuff, and they left us in the LT to copy out chinese words on a sheet of chinese square paper for calligraphy. wth. that's like so horrifying i hope i dun get nightmares. i've never seen so many chinese words in one go! there's this like 1000 words thingy.. comprising for 4 words phrases. eww.
watched some killer whale documentary juz now. they are so free, so dignified and majestic! even when they kill they have style.. they'll toss the sea lion about, and there's this way of hitting the sealion with a tail backlash so that it flies up in the air like a rag doll.. woah. they even make rubbing their body against pebbles on the shore look like some kind of a graceful activity, unlike the elephant and the tree trunk scratching that is plain idiotic. the way the swim and weave through the ocean with such power and earnest spirit, and the spout of mist that sporadically burst out from the surface plus the setting sun scene or background with snow capped mountains.. *sigh*

though most pple think that he's a fat ass but he's the only actor whom i've watched most of his works. The list, in chrono order: William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet(on tv), Titanic(on vcd), The Beach(on tv), Catch Me If You Can(on kazaa d/l dvd). i did not have the chance to catch Gangs of New York but that was our GP discussion topic once. our teachers(ms chong and mr barber) recommended the beach, catch me and gangs of NY. realised that all his works all not the usual ditzy flick. all of them are great literature works. whew. professional actor, and damn good at it! other few movies that stayed in my head were "O"(modern Othello) and Great Expectations(soundtrack and fantastic artwork). Not to mention my 2nd most fav. movie, tear jerker Pearl Harbour. ah ha why am i talking bout movies here?
juz watched Friends, finally. haha today was The One With The Blind Dates. As usual, laffed my head off. *grinz* to hell with the 1,000 worded book report in chinese and presentation of one of plath's poem to lit class. sch starts tmr ugh. can't wait for thurs! we r going to skip the whole dae of sch to go Esplanade for rehearsals for the finals band com! the whole day! haha morning was our own practice(booked it for $1700? wif choir).. then afternoon's the rehearsal wif the rest of the top 4 of course. hee. the durian! yeah finally, dreamt of performing that since it opened. haha think i'm so lucky.
and there's a re-realisation that the trombone is truly the nicest and most unique instru in the whole bunch of musical instrus! who else can boast of an adjustable slide and notes? wat about gliss? plunger? who else can boast of being the loudest instru?(besides the trumpet of course) haha. yeah, trombone trombone trombone rox! hee i'm going crazy. well, who can blame me? blame alexis! her fault! haha.

So how's my crapping and template designing skills?
haha, yupz, did another template. got the lovely pic from deviantart.com. oh yeah, todae's 7th of july, youth dae~ went for band though. ah, passing youth.
went out wif rux ytd. check out her entry on ytd. yupz, went to bugis first. i kept saying "i'm lost" cos i v.long nv go bugis already. the bags at the permanent pasaar malaam are nice! haha shall go and get one when i have the dough, which is like... erm, haha. ok then walked around, and rux bought a top at edge and bracelet at montip? yupz. the top is damn nice! hahaha and economically priced too. and we saw this pink skirt at ms. selfridge that's like super super nice(non symmetrical hem), but its $76 bux.. and dun have rux's size. haha. oh, saw sean and huiying at diff. parts of bugis too.
next we went to city link.. saw min down the escalator but she nv see us leh. rux bought a ankle chain at some shop ugh can't remember the name!! nvm. ya then went to suntec to walk around and try to find the elusive Subway. we r a pair of dolts. finally we found it and by that time we were like famished. but it was worth it though. the sandwiches r gastronomical! haha. yeps, then went up to the Skygarden. Ahh. memories of POP. its such a beautiful place! and we juz sat there staring at the buildings, and for a while said nothing and just enjoyed the scenary and peace. V. relaxing, and its nice to have a friend to yak with about everything and anything. listened to suitable mp3s on jukebox while we watched the towering buildings glitter with the orange glow as the sun behind us starts to set and the wind starts to pick up. saw choppers with the Singapore flag flying past too, and some thundering booms. must be the NDP rehearsal. a few planes flew so close the noise was deafening.
joked about the double entendre of the phrase "I'm hot!" wif rux while waiting for the train at cityhall. haha. so funny. then went on the train to see the cutest baby on the train!(saw another toddler at subway thats oso v.cute) personality wins! haha the baby was not breathtaking delicate like those u see on the ads but it was so lively and active. noticed the silly expressions of pple sitting across us who were similarly amused wif the baby. and it can laff! and crinkle its nose at me and rux! haha thats the kind of baby i wan man. and it cannot be allowed to grow up into a cold, uncaring adult. haha. okok.
then met up wif wen at j8 since we were on the way. took some neoprints. somehow, we r always frantic and panicking in front of that machine. Hilarious. saw lurong, jianing and dunno wats her name.. erm, haha ya can't remember at this moment. i got super bad memory. ^_^ sigh. The skygarden. Oh well, came home and developed the mother of all headaches. popped panadol and watched Titanic part 2. i got so sad all over again. i noe its out of date, but i still think Titanic's like the nicest movie i've ever watched~! its the true story part that affects me the most i guess. sigh. and the love story between jack and rose? *sigh* sad sad.

n. mu·sic
1. The art of arranging sounds in time so as to produce a continuous, unified, and evocative composition, as through melody, harmony, rhythm, and timbre.
2. Vocal or instrumental sounds possessing a degree of melody, harmony, or rhythm
3. An aesthetically pleasing or harmonious sound or combination of sounds.
Music fills the soul; the soul feels music. Music gives the spirit substance and depth, as it courses into the gentle rhythm of your heart to lift you up to insurmountable heights of rhapsody that only you can attain. Flowing like a swift river it surrounds you completely in its graceful motion of euphoria, excitement and suspense as it entices you to surrender yourself unconditionally to its intoxicating embrace.
Music is the universal language of the world, the language of freedom, love and beauty. It expresses sentiments and emotions like no other words can. Some say a picture is worth a thousand words. Then in that case, music is worth a thousand pictures, for rain do not fall when the pitter patter sound of raindrops are absent.
Music is present in all cultures. We simply cannot live without them. There's the ensemble of songbirds on treetops for morning risers, rhythmic beat of tribal drums for harvest dances, the soaring voice of the opera singer for the theatre-goers, the concerto of symphony and orchestras for classical lovers, the catchy messy tunes for teenagers and memories relived through record players. Without them, life would be platitudinous, driveling, unimaginable.
Music meliorates like the loving balm that soothes the wound. Animosity, alienation and bitterness all fades away like a passing nightmare when you allow yourself to be seduced by the moving melody and heavenly harmony. It transcends all barriers to give you the inner peace so many seeks. It is the gift of God to all to remove malaise and dolor, only you will have to realise the simple fact that music is truly the most divine thing on earth.

she slept at 2 last night, the last minute bugger. she had to go thru trigo and summation since she skipped those before. this resulted in a crappy morning that started off with the maths paper. realized that most of her answers were correct in concept, juz that the formula is wrong! argh she can just forget about going up to jc2.
then come the AO chinese common test oral. she was told that she'll get from a range of 13-15. Not bad, but not good, considering the fact that she's gonna take the AO chinese official oral on this friday! and guess what? she's for once top of the list, and she doesn't even want to be! haha. she's like the first person to take oral for the whole njc AO chinese batch. man that feels wierd.
next up on the menu is the AO chinese paper, served with delicious cold relish and stiff necks. she's so tired by that time that she couldn't care less and did the paper with a dangerous recklessness that can land her seriously in trouble. Oh well, its just the common test for AO chinese. not as if THAT will affect the official AO chinese paper rite? after that paper in the hall, they went from Northern Artic to Southern Artic at LT 1 to take the listening compre. she was asleep most of the time.
she did have a hilarious time, however, during the break before chinese exam with beat, sharon, ailin and siim at the canteen, supposedly "studying". they started talking about teachers and boy does ailin have such a "fantastic" form teacher. they all laughed at that teacher until tears started rolling and stomachs start to ache. it was that funny. some teachers are really so wierd, its a wonder why they ever become one in the first place! haha but they are the ones that make sch life memorable aint it?

i have an econs test later and i don't know why in the world am i online now. wanted to wake up at 7 to study.. haha i'm that desperate. but i couldn't! my bed is so comfy! i slept till like 9.40. Ugh. had a very wierd dream. Dreamt that this blackbird flew into my house and landed on my hand.. it was very docile and friendly, and i intro-ed it to everyone in the family. then i fed it some breadcrumbs. i started talking to it at the sink, asking if it's the same bird that we kept a while back in the past. the bird then shook its head and stared at me, its huge brown shining eyes seeming to want to tell me something. i couldn't understand, and felt quite sad. then it flew away, just as sudden as it came.
wierd? definitely.
oh ytd's geog is not that bad. at least, given that i did not study for human geog at all, and "speed-read" thru the phy geog. Darn but i did not "flip" thru the Fluvial processes, thinking that it's not gonna come up, but it did and its a whole 10 marks, a third of the phy paper! >< wrote attrition instead of abrasion for pothole forming.. dolt. haha.
GP sux. don't know what i am doing for the AQ at all, and who comes up with vocab like indoctrination and didactic? what the hell they they we are? Walking dics? haha. oh well. ignore me, i'm juz ranting, as usual. i'm fearing the worst later. ah well, take it ez gurl, its just the common tests that's constituting 20% of my promos, which i juz have to get a 2A 2AO pass.. and i can't retake if i fail, that's all. oh, saw the gloomy bears on the papers. they are quite cute, with a twist u noe.
oh and i juz archived my last few entries but it doesn't show on the Archives page. Here rants from 30_06_2003
