i got my results (today).. which made me wonder. WHy am i so devoid of emotionS? i don't know. maybe becoz of the results, which pretty much balances out the good and bad. Good news is, i get a surprise 8 for L1R5. Bad news is, i got a C6 for Higher Chinese, which kinda surprised me a bit. k, shall juz do it chronologically huh? haha. i have all the time in the world and its 1.49 AM. Why? Read on... din go sch todae.. wanted to pon for once. then i decided to go to the polyclinic to check on the red patches i have on my stomach and back area... so i went, and waited. i hate waiting....absolute waste of time. but, its a polyclinic, so, i'll just have to accept it. found out from the doc that i have... shingles and it really sux. its caused by the chicken pox virus that had laid dormant until now but has decided to resurface and wreck havoc on my skin. its terrible. i might make pple who don't have the chicken pox before get c.pox, even though this 2nd attack of c.pox virus is not contagious. I got 2 days mc. ah, that's why i have all the time in the world. i've decided not to go band tmr for fear of infecting pple around me wif c.pox! then it'll be disastrous. i'll need to go back to the polyclinic on mon for more checkup. following the drawn-out clinic visit, i hurried to sch.. was feeling kinda nervous and excited.. apprehensive, i think. so when i saw everyone in the hall i'm like omg. started chattering to everybody, saying hi, and gave the MGs their plushie puppy. =) then the excitement started to die down after a while... i sorta calmed down. the principal gave a whole lot of statistics, commendations etc. Suspense... got my results, found out that i did quite well, but i was really quite.... calm. i din noe how to react. sigh. i'll have to take AO chinese in NJ! argh. speaking of subjects to take, i'm now in a very very great dilemma. What stream should i go to??? I was like telling zq and winnie that if i get A2 and above for phy i'm gonna drop geog and change to an Odd Sci combi.. phy+lit+ec+ma, but now, i got a b3 for phy! Argh. and my humanities all got 1s. so, how???? and surprisingly, my chem did better than my physics, even though i detest chem. Think it was my practicals for both. screwed the phy one, aced the chem one. Ha. So....should i follow my interest in physics and change course? but what if i can't cope, and find that i dun like JC physics? what if? besides, i wan to try for the Humanities Scholarship. That means sticking with geography. HoW? i have 4 days to decide. =| but i don't know what i want for uni, for my future? am i the only one that's feeling that or what?  Which Britney are you? Find out! -=back from Neverland=- Tuesday, February 25, 2003 | 09:01 p.m. its 8.39 pm now. i've decided to discipline myself and do some proper blogging before i get distracted again. and its a plus that there's no hw except for the survey i have to type later. =) woah my latest update was on Fri. hmz.. quite a lot of events happened in the span of... 4 days? Relaxed and listening to mp3s while doing nothing but bloggin. Ahh... On Sat we had band in the morning..then in the evening the band had this reunion dinner at Furama Hotel in Chinatown. My outfit was kinda last minute though. Sigh. Promises promises. Luckily i wasn't late or anything. in fact, arrived quite early compared to the Mrt pple. hahaz. Well, the dinner was not bad, although the atmosphere was kinda quiet since the yr1s and 2s din really have anything to say to each other and yr1s like us are like not properly introduced, or rather, bonded with fellow yr1s in band yet. Haha the meal was quite good, considering it cost everyone 40 bux. Had a hilarious time with all the Yum Sengs around. We invented the sfp yum seng, heard tongueing yamseng, yam sengs with tunes, crescendo yamsengs etc. LOL typical of a band to think of something like that, huh? Reached home at around 11.45.. On sunday i'm supposed to go for the Seoul Garden buffet lunch with the A01 peepz but in the end i din go coz i felt it was just too much for a weekend. Too extravangant. rested/slacked at home, before going out to meet the atsb peepz at 5 at TP's KFC. Stoned there a while before going over to Far East to look for presents for ql and lr. Ate Long John's though, without finding anything. however, we did managed to get the two girls belated bdae presents consisting of an engraved ring on a black plastic "necklace". It was really quite nice! Oh, and we decided to get a ice-cream cake for ql from swensens' and surprise her by going to her house. by then it was like.. 8+,9 pm? haha ql was really touched, and i'm glad. =) it was really quite funny, us trying to "keep low!" and behaving like burglars while carrying the huge ice-cream cake around. Called her to open the door with the phone, and when she was there we entered into her view with the lighted cake and all and started the birthday song. Later on, when we finished with all the photo taking at ql house with jm's digicam we decided to drop by lr's house(in the vicinity) and give her the necklace, together with a La Bi Xiao Xin cake we bought. it was a smaller, one person cake though. Celebrated it at lr's playground. Haha. Glad to see her. Miss her loads... nv catch up for quite some time. Monday... sch as usual. By then, the whole student body was rampant with rumors about the O-level results. some say tue, wed, thur, fri! haha. everyone was unsure. then somehow pple got the impression that it was on Wed, since fren's fren's fren heard on the radio/tv that it was then. haha i heard wat.....m'sia's on wed, pte candidates on wed, but fri for us. Wateva. but by now it is confirmed not wednesday i guess. *shuns thoughts about results, at all.* today? i'm quite blur/stony/spaced out today, for some reason. i gotta attribute the lack of sleep as the main reason i guess. slept at the avg. of 12 every night (dratted hw, M.Jackson's famous interview, study tests, online chat etc), and woke up at 5.50 every morning just so to make it for band morning assembly at 7.20 in the morning and not be late for it, or i'll be fined a heavy SDG. Argh. wonder how long i can keep at being un-late. >_< had 2 tests todae. Phy geog open-notes and maths. Geog was ok, had the notes to help. maths was quite bad.., even though i'm quite sure about the topics tested. i just blank out. Oh wellz. Heck. ah... its been a long blog. longest since dunno-when. Oh wellz, shall get the survey done. And multi-task at the same time. The time now is 9:01pm.

 Which Cooni Are You? it's been a while! woah. finally gotten down to adding an entry since the last quizfest. Ha. actually i'm online most of the time at night for a while, but i couldn't be bothered to add an entry. Nothing really pressing to crap about anywae. haha. Oh wellz, its gonna be a busy weekend for me. Sat got band at 9, then in the evening there's a band reunion dinner at 7 at the Furama Hotel.. dun really feel like it going..not bonded wif band yet, cept mebbe wif Trombone section, so its kinda meaningless. but alas. paid 40 bux for this compulsory function. o.O sunday there's a seoul garden lunch for all AO1 peepz. Sorta like a "last -dinner-" kinda thingy i guess, before the o-level results come out. nobody noes when the bombshell is gonna land though. Some say wed, thurs, fri. heard JAE's on fri.. and tues oso mebbe! Argh! Its gonna be a horrible week! I have.. all 4 subj. tests, mon-econs, tues-maths, phy geog, thurs-elit!!! *groanz* but, heck. who cares. they don't really matter b4 the first 3 mnths anyway. haha. oh, today i went to Ngee Ann poly and Singapore Poly for their Open House. Not bad! Very very impressed with NP's library, in fact. it was uber cool. The best library in Singapore, i dare say! All of us (winnie, khalid, kervin, benson) are like.... sua-goos walking about with mouths agape. ha, and they have a supermart. and inside there's this gift shop and the uncle was v.nice to us! Singapore poly, on the other hand, was kinda..disappointing. the place looks..run down. and when we were there is was super crowded. went around searching for the KFC+Pizza hut but couldn't find, so settled for cheap Mac. everytime there'll be this thought that flitted through my mind, and i'll be like wanting to write it down in blog or something. but when i'm typing the blog, seems like i have nothing to write! Ugh! sigh. today i was like thinking about poly life vs jc. how different. the culture, the atmosphere. The Relevance of it all. Haiz. Sometimes, i'm so unsure of my future its scary. I simply don't know what i want to do, to be, in the future! can i juz say that i haven found my niche yet. Specialise, they say. but in what? i want to be happy in whatever job i do. That way, that job is no longer a job but.. a hobby.  What? I got a 36 for my O-level Results?!? =P PS: I still haven gotten around to watching Catch Me If You Can movie part2(download). Sigh. Went out todae with candice and rux... met up wif rux at amk lib. first coz she wanted to study for chem test. It was a gray afternoon. it kept drizzling. so we were there.. for bout one hour. oh, and rux mistook a closed door for an automated sliding door and was like juz standing in front of the glass panes with an expectant look on her face. Hahaha nearly laffed my head off. wat a ditz! met up wif candice later at j8 coz of the daimaru closing down sale. Shopping time! hahaz. had a fun time. ha. bought a nice top for a nice price. =) oh, and Pinko sells v. nice skirts! but..its not too suitable for me. i came home.. slacked a while. Then juz now at about 10...i suddenly discovered this trail of ants across the floor of my bedroom. That does it. All hell broke loose as i sprayed a fog of Shieldtox on them. Annihilation of all ANTS! The thing i hate most on this earth is BUGS. Thou shalt not be spared. Nope. No mercy. Another day has passed. Today we had the road run in the morning. Whew. What a run. Or shall i say, Walk. Hahaha me and karen were like slacking away. After running a few minutes on the track, i'm like, "Are we there yet?!"wuahaha. Admired the houses along the way. Saw this really really cute doggie too! it was sooo cute. Small and white. Puppy i think. Anyway, got back, cooled down.. ha i overtook the walking-Ms Teo-who-took-a-shortcut. Nyah nanana. Oh wellz, went home after that. don't really have much to blog about. oh, and i finished Part Two: The Two Towers booK! yaay! hahah it was quite different from the movie, i think. Haha seems like only Zq updated her blog today, so.. for a basic update of what happened todae, check out her site. haha. only that i did not watch the movie. instead, wandered around Taka with winnie and benson...as the "3 wandering souls" nothing better to do you see. oh, and a big thank you to brudder Khalid for the KFC treat =) and to benson too, for the DQ cone! hahaha.. so nice! Received a very very nice package of presents from June, my Band Angel. Thank yoU! seems like the vocab for the day was limited to four. Soo nice! soo sweet! soo cute! soo mean! harharhar. everything had a "sooo" added. Went home after GZ lessons at 5.30, and watched Survivor:Amazon. MAnz oh man oh man.(pun intended) i mean, its like the guys are so much more efficient at building shelter and getting fire, it makes the girls team Bimbotic. Like, the girls had kerosene and a flint, but they took 6 hours to start a fire. Fantastic. Hahahah it was really quite... hard to watch it. Sigh. this morning jm msged me something bout ponning sch the dae b4 getting results just to play. really had that urge. the same routine everyday sucks. Sometimes, i really wish i live in the Victorian times that i read about in storybooks. You know, those days when we don't have to go to school.. and just.. do nice stuff. Sigh. its..... a "get lost" saturday!!! went to amk central this afternoon at 1.46 to meet benson, marcus and swee yan coz we are supposed to get to tanah merah mrt to meet the rest of the band..... we are told to go to mr. ho's house to bai nian... so we reached tanah merah at 2.30, the appointed time. Then we waited wif some other band peepz that i have no idea whats their names till 3 plus. THen we set off. Got onto bus no. 2. had a 20 mins ride all the way to Changi Prison that area, b4 someone realised its the wrong way. So we got off, and took the bus back a bit. then we started walking. and walking. ugh. then in the end after waiting under a big tree with shade, thank goodness, we took the cab. And we got lost wif the cab uncle too. THere's sea breeze grove, avenue and road! its a jungle! Woah. After reaching at around 4.. finally settled down. His house is.....typically huge and moneyed. haha. Stoned until 6 listening to him tok. Sigh. his house is at Tanah Merah! oh wellz, go see see. hmz. what did i do today? ermz..slack slack day today, 3 lessons only.. then went to orchard wif the usual bunch.. ate mos burger. not bad. then....the bunch of them went to Adidas and bought the sports bottle!!!! like...at one go, 5 bottles at once!!! Ha but i muz not succumb to peer pressure. -Resists all temptations to buy- even though the transparent one was really quite nice. had gz lessons after that..mad rush to make it on time. Found out that i can take the grade 5 exam during Nov!!! Oh wellz, hope i still can take it then. Ooh am i hungry. No dinner yet for me! :( ermz, what did i do ytd? oh ya. thurs everyone in A01 was sooo dead. Ha dun't noe what came over us. Had frisbee for PE at the end of the day though. Not bad, the weather was quite nice. Hahah i stood around and enjoyed the breeze. Wheeee~>slacker. haha ytd night the A01 bunch of us were like storming the #Njc channel and juz toking crap making noise. Hahaha so fun leh. do it more often! make some noise manz. Live it up, we ROCK!
