Okay Sis. I'm a bigger fan than you now. -_-;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; After I found out about the Internet Radio show by the Paku Romi (aka Edward Elric's voice actress), and that I could actually pay to see it without a credit card (those things are evil...) well...
The clips are cheaper than I expected. Streaming clips so they can't be distributed and what not. They don't actually reveal anything about the anime that hasn't been shown already, rather a behind-the-scenes look and the host (Paku Romi) doing some goofing around with the guests (different seiyuus of the series). So far I got the clips with the seiyuus of Envy and Scar as guests~ weehee.
Note 1: Envy's seiyuu (Yamaguchi Mayumi) is... an oddball.
Note 2: Ed's Seiyuu (Paku Romi) is... hyper... oo
Note 3: Paku Romi and Yamaguchi Mayumi have known each other for about 4 years now and are great pals. O_____o I wonder if it's just a coincidence that they're deadly enemies in Hagaren...
Note 4: Paku Romi and Yamaguchi Mayumi love to imitate each other's lines (anime character-wise), which sounds kind weird when you're hearing Envy as Ed, vice versa. lol
They did act out a little fun segment with paper-puppets where 'Ed' enters a cafe managed by Scar (lol) and ordered warm milk. :P Another Ed comes in, sees 'Ed' and freaks out a bit, but stops realizing it's Envy up to mischief again.
Ed: What the heck are you doing posing as me?! You trying to bring down my reputation?!
Envy: Oh? Naaaaah, I've just been bullying little kids, ignoring traffic lights, taking over priority seats (on trains, special seats for the eldery, disabled etc)....
Ed: WHHHAAAATTTT?! Are you serious?! ARE YOU SERIOUS?! What the !@#(*&% are you up to you *beeeeeeeep*?!
Envy runs off before Ed can do anything, then Scar comes along with 'Ed's' order of hot milk. Ed freaks out at the milk and doesn't want to pay for it (1,000 yen for a cup of hot milk?!), but Scar insists that 'Ed' ordered it just a while ago. XD A bit of a verbal fight since the seiyuus only had paper puppets to use, but it was funny nonetheless.
If anyone wants to know... you can find the clips here. You have to pay to view, but there is one sample clip somewhere there (too lazy to give directions for the time being).
And today, Nakasa-chan (who also watches Hagane no Renkinjutsushi) drew me a picture of the main characters and villains of the series. I swear, her Edward looks SO close to the manga artist's drawings.... o_o *tearily accepts the picture from Nakasa-chan* T______T Arigatou~! *moved*

No point getting worked up. People are disappointing in general either way.
Anyway, got a couple of questions in my head about Envy (been bugging me the whole time)...
1) I thought he/ she/ whatever said he didn't remember his original form in episode #14... in #50 he... reverted to his original form without much trouble... o___O I mean he didn't even see Ed's dad to get some reminder...
2) I thought Homuculi didn't have feelings, but look at Envy throw a fit in #46. Anger is an emotion. Hate too. Hmmmmmm........

Which left me fantasizing on how I'd pin some businessman sitting in front of me (who kept stealing glances at me for some unknown reason) on the floor of the train, and use the tip of my umbrella to stab him through the left eye, GRIND it down all the way and splatter his brains out through the back of his head or through his ears...
And now the rest of the day has been spoilt either way by other things.

Ed's dad tells him that when the people of this world (the world on the other side of the door/ gate) die, they become the energy that fuels alchemy of their home world. As an example, dad listed a radio: In order to fix a broken radio, bits of it is just not enough. You still need energy to use alchemy in order to restore the radio.
Hm. Kinda makes you wonder what the Homuculi really are...

What the *beep*... my prediction came true. If the series ends the way I predicted it would, I'm gonna flip.
Summary of Fullmetal Alchemist #50: Death.
Needless to say, spoilers below too. Highlight to read.
Ed got dragged to the other side of that creepy door, ending up in some body that looks like him, yet not. Note: He realizes he's got his right arm and left leg (flesh) intact. I'll just summarize the whole thing up anyway. Dad and Ed get outta town, it was attacked by blimps??? They're in England. His father explains that they're in another world (our world, to be exact, in the past), which is actually what's behind that creepy gate/ door. In this world, Alchemy does not exist here, and in its place humans have developed technologically. Ed's spirit sort bumped into his alternate (of this world) and took over his body. Ed's real body is still somewhere within the gate/ door and dad tells him to go and look for it himself. From what I gather looking at where they are, it's some big war (quite possibly world war 1). Dad later leaves Ed to meet some Churchill guy, and tells Ed he's not returning to their world. He will die in this world, with this body and face that Trisa loved. Ed can still make it in time back to his own world according to his old man. Anyway, as Dad leaves in the car, some blimp crashes down onto where he left Ed standing... We see poor Ed pinned down by metal debris in great pain (how the heck did he survive the explosion when the blimp crashed on him?!). He tries to get out of the mess with Alchemy, but he hasn't got his metal arm there. Then, more metal and debris collapses onto him...
Over on Mustang's side (sorry, I'm not listing the events chronologically, but scenario by scenario), Hawkeye and him have gone to Bradley's place. Bradley at the time, was talking to his 'son', who admits to seeing his Dad open up some safe behind a shelf. Dad Bradley lets his son keep the key to the safe, and his, "My life is in your hands." Which sorta hints that what's in the safe is his human remains. Anyway, Mustang confronts Bradley alone in ammunition stores. The former doesn't care about whether Bradley's human or not, but he does not like the fact that he's inflicting such suffering on people just to make the Philosopher's Stone. They fight, and Mustang is clearly on the losing side. He forces a large explosion (well, with the ammunition surrounding them), but Bradley still stands...
Dante's side. Aru (or Al, whichever) aka Philosopher's Stone is currently being... 'processed'. Dante has him rendered helpless and in the middle of one of those circly-symbols. She commands Gluttony to consume Aru's physical form (or something... I'm not too sure there), but Gluttony is too distraught over the death of Lust to do anything. Even Envy can't get him to do anything right. Dante, sighing, grabs Gluttony's tongue and activates the symbol on it that renders him a simple, mindless but very dangerous eating monster that almost turns on Envy. Dante is about to get down to business once more when Wrath gets in the way (again...). He's still pleading with Dante to use Aru (Philosopher's Stone) to bring Sloth (Mama) back. Dante has right about had enough of his nonsense, and uses Rose's infant to open the creepy door/gate once again to teach Wrath a lesson. He's terrified, and those little black arms RIP Ed's arm and leg off him. Poor Wrath is left a bloody mess (I wonder why they didn't drag him all in). Once more, Dante wants to get down to business, when Envy exclaims the door/ gate is still there (supposed to disappear after those things got to Wrath). And what do you know... Ed comes back from the other side of it, pushing the gate/door open... Everyone is shocked, and Ed seems a little weakened as he's realized that the body he took over in that other world died. Anyway, he soon starts to fight Envy, who takes on the form of Hughes, taunting Ed that he'll find it hard to strike an alley's face. Ed counters, saying he already destroyed a homunculus that had the face of his mother. Ed can't seem to hit Envy at all (the latter moves too fast), but Wrath grabs onto Envy's leg, giving Ed the advantage. He manages to pin Envy down and begins to punch the latter (who keeps changing faces from Hughes, Trisia to Doctor Marco). Amusingly enough, the last face Envy decides to assume, is Mustang's (to which Ed sneers and exclaims that's the face he finds easiest to punch). Ed commands Envy to drop the act and show his REAL face. Envy sneers and does just that. His real face looks like Ed's dad's. Dante explains that the first son of Hohenheim died, and was turned into Envy when Hohenheim tried to bring him back to life (you know how) and eventually Envy was abandoned (?). Unfortunately, during Ed's hesitation upon seeing Envy's real face, Envy managed to transform his own arm into a blade and ram it straight through our hero's chest, right out the other side... I don't understand why Aru doesn't have much of a reaction at that point except going 'niisan...' weakly. Rose suddenly phases out of her hypnotism and calls out to Ed. But our hero just falls to the floor, his lifeblood leaking out, the light in his eyes fading, and pupils dilating...
I had the last scene in my head ever since last week. Except the 'characters' in that vision were faceless, but then they turned into Ed and Envy yesterday and the whole thing got pretty vivid this afternoon. Poor Ed. He died 2 times in a span of... 10 minutes. They didn't have any preview for next week's episode (Sycia was grumbling about that for a long time), but then again, the production staff JUST finished making episode 51, and they don't want to spoil anything. Please don't let the series end the way I predicted.... (not that it's bad, just...)

Hm. Just went on a Hagane no Renkinjutsu-shi marathon. 10 episodes in a night (35 - 45, most of which I missed because I was on vacation), and too much absorption of the story has made my brain float off to some far away planet, leaving behind a throbbing head. I now know why Sis wants to hug the main character.
Hmmm. Slayers or Hagane no Renkinjutsu-shi... The 2nd definitely looks more fitting as my favorite animated series.
That aside, in screenplay class we were given screenplay print-outs of a certain anime. From the looks of the written title, it looked like it was 'Layers' (I thought 'Slayers' mispelt). After reading the stuff we were shown the actual anime. Rayearth. That's what it was... but hell it sounded like Layers. Even a local classmate thought it was Slayers from the start. Either way we were supposed to write a screenplay of that classic '3 little pigs' story any way we pleased. Simple enough if you think of it, but hell to get down writing. Especially when it's in a foreign language. Working hard at it as best as I can though. Just that this headache's driving me to dreamland. So goodnight.

Something my dad said just suddenly popped up in my mind while I was taking a shower (don't ask, random moments)...
While I was back in Singapore, from the moment I stepped out from the departure hall, my family (immediate and relatives) had all remarked at least twice on how I've not changed one bit from when I left for Japan over one and a half years ago (I have to admit I've seemed to have temporarily stopped aging). Everyone said that about me. Everyone, except my father. He had been overseas on another business trip when I returned, so I only saw him about 5 days after I arrived in Singapore.
Mom: *To dad* See? [my real name] hasn't changed at all!
Dad: Not on the outside, but I'm sure there have been many changes in her that we can't see. *Smiles at Sycia*
Though I disagree with him, his sentence just struck me as something that goes beyond what the normal people would give regard for... He is a smart guy. Just wish he could be a better husband.

I love Thursdays' lessons~ Animation. ^__^ Animating something 2D gives me a sense of satisfaction that turns to joy~ We got to test our animations today over some ancient console that makes my Polytechnic's one look like a dream. Mine got the green light (even though the teacher's assistant hardly believed I did it) and I handed it straight up to a doubtful teacher who, after looking through the animation and comfirming I took a course on it up before, let me go onto the next assignment... Repeated snowfall. Interesting~~~~
Sis asked who's my favorite character in Fullmetal Alchemist and I couldn't give her an answer... every one of them are cool. Envy has a special place in my heart for I-don't-know-what-reason.

Hehe Samurai Champloo is funny. Dynamic movements and very different feel overall (for an anime).
Had a bad nosebleed when I woke up this morning. What the... just woke up and walked to the sink to rinse my face and the sink suddenly went red. Temperatures dropped 10 degrees from yesterday, and because of that nosebleed, I went through the day feeling cold (I'd normally only find 22 degrees a nice temperature).
Downloading Hagane no Renkinjutsu shi too~ I'll have to get CD covers of some album for the amount of DVDs I'm burning...

Japanese keyboards are no fun... yay for the English ones.
I'm still pretty much in the holiday mood these days... Still have so much trouble getting up in the mornings hehe.
Had our first real animation lesson this morning. If I hadn't taken up basic animation up already, I swear I wouldn't have known what the hell to do. The guy just comes into class and tells us to animate (draw) a person (full figure) sitting on a chair from a standing position (side view). No basic lecture, no reference notes, nothing. Definitely faster and more challenging than what I took in Singapore. But hey, I had fun. Didn't have the time to test my animation out at school (took a bit to do the line clean-up), so came back to scan and color em. Had to run around Shinjuku looking for some wires...
The world moves. No matter what happens, life just goes on. But while one can easily throw him / herself to the tide along with everyone else, it's those who dare make a stand that the world owes change to.
Lamers have an energy source as limitless as the largest stars fueling them.

Otouto-chan and Bayu-chan came over for a visit~ Happy to see them both well and went out for a sundae with the latter. I don't hang around the dorm that much so some accquaintences thought I moved or something. Hmmm. Ganba, Ogana, Romeo, Pirum, Vietnamese girl, and even EM were gathered at the lobby (smoking guh) on Sunday night. ^^ Great to see everyone again!

Alright. It went right back to happy sunny days. And hot nights. So much so that I was deprived of sleep last night. Went through the first day of school like a zombie after nearly falling over someone when I dozed off standing up.
And another thing that annoys the daylights outta me: mosquitoes. The recent rain from the typhoon left a lot of puddles for the damned suckers to go laying their eggs around after having almost no rainfall for the whole summer. I left my door open for a little while and 7 came in to feed off me. WANNA GET A PIECE OF ME?! HUH?!?!?? Joyce would know how cazed I get when mosquitoes irritate me. Oh yes.... 7 of them.... only 1 managed to get anything outta me though. Took care of all the others before they had a chance. Hint: Keep moving, and hunting. And hell, I came back from school just now, opened my door slightly and slipped in as fast as I could and STILL, one got in with me. *beep beep beeeeeeep* I know my blood tastes good but this is ridiculous.
On a side note I've grown to be quite the expert on killing those things with my slippers. Why slippers? They cover more surface area without the bulkiness.
Now onto something more serious.
The most valuable thing to me would be my freedom. I don't consider myself defiant in the conventional sense, but anyone trying to deny me freedom would see me at the bottom of a cliff in pieces (or insert any other grueome sight of obvious suicide) than in their grasp. Personal rule of mine. Something I'm dead serious about as well. Goes hand in hand with people trying to me to do stuff I hate. I'm as stubborn, or worse than an ass when it comes down to it all. Force me to do stuff? I will repell you with undying hatred (that's one emotion that seems to have an endless supply of fuel in me). Maybe that's why I always dream of flying. To be free of all chains, to have nothing bind me down, to soar whereever I want, when I want. I think this line came from Braveheart, "They can never take our freedom." Well, it's sickening enough that some people try.
