Lotto Man!

Did you ever consider spending enough money on lottery tickets to guarantee a winner? It would work, the only problem being the chance that somebody else also wins thereby making you share your earnings. Let;s see, there are 6 numbers to pick - I used to know algebra well enough to figure it out but now I'll have to use English - is that 6 times six times 6 times six times 6 times six? That would be only 46556 number combinations, so it's obviously more than that... ABCDEF equals teh six numbers... A = zero - what is it 64? or is zero not a number in the lotto? Anyhow, I'm pretty sure the top number is in the 60's, so for the sake of being right I will round it to 70. So, every number is a 1:70 chance. times six equals a 1:420 chance you'll get ONE number correct. No wait... 70 to the sixth power? 70 * 70 = 4900 * 70 = 343000 * 70 = 24010000 * 70 = 1680700000 * 70 = 117649000000. So is my math right? That'd be $117,649,000,000.00 to make sure you win! Oh wait, that's a hundred and seventeen billion, six hundred and 49 million dollars of tickets. Somewhere along the line I crossed the point of diminishing returns. Can you imagine going into Road Runner and buying 117 Billion, 649 Million Dollars in Lottery Tickets? "Give me One of Everything Please!" That'd be teh easy part, the hard part would be finding the winning ticket after the drawing! You'd have to have an army of people like Verca Salt's father and pay them $2000/hour to ensure they don't pocket the ticket and if they do you'd have to hire Johnny Cochran and then you'd be screwed all right! I think I'll tsay on the sidelines of this one!
