The Manual Life

I just went to www.usps.com to track my movie's journey to Athens, GA. It said they "attempted to deliver" and left a note. Arrrgh! I didn't tell them they needed a signature! Why do they do that? Oh, yeah, to cover their donkeys. I can't force some festival guy to go to the post office. I hate the modern world. I woke up this morning to my automatic self-grinding coffee maker. It's got a timer and everything. We must have thirteen digital clocks in the kitchen alone. Then there's the VCR and TV and cable box... Soon I'll buy a blender with a clock on it so I know what time is Margarita time. I also want one of those old fashioned clocks with the digital clock embedded in the clock face! One of the clocks with the clocks on them! Last weekend I went to Lube Pros for an earl change. They couldn't figure out how to close my hood so I had to go in the garage and do my patented 'step-on-the-car-and-stomp-on-the-hood-latch' technique. People in the lobby thought I was a mechanic and almost left the place! (not a joke) There's nothing quite like the manual life!
