Sinking in the Thessalonic Ocean

Last night I went grocery shopping, and I must say, I raised the bar. Not the shopping, which wasn't too bad on its own ($26 in savings from coupons & preferredness), but from the heft of my feat carrying $143 worth of groceries from the store to the car. We've got the iron bars up prohibiting shopping carts from going into the parking lot, for anybody who's not familiar with the banes, boons, pains, & swoons of the urban life. I really didn't think I was going to make it, somehow I found the strength & dexterity, something clutzes like me only have when nobody is watching. Thankfully, I scared everybody off last night with my mean-spirited dedication to success. Not really, I didn't swear or even grunt until I put it all in the trunk when I sighed. How about this entry for self-centeredness!? What do you expect, though? It's the Internet, after all, the home of idling hands idly committing self worship. Me Last Night After Carrying Groceries
