Dang Shoot Fast

The Summer of Maniacalness is upon us again. So much time spent doing things and so little spent enjoying the beautiful nothings of life. The days of lazy hammocked slumber with mediocre novels and too much coffee and far too many cigarettes and sun burns from inactivity and having a sore back from too much lounging. I for one appreciate such times! Why are we so very impelled, so very obviously impelled, to go do so many things, go run around in circles amusing ourselves with fun and joy and pleasure and laughter and all that stuff! Why don't we appreciate somber woe anymore, why don't we revel in our innocuous nature!? But really, I love the activity of summer, I just know how dang shoot fast it goes!
