Welcome to the eighth edition of Static Dream, featuring Lee Jae Won, formerly of HOT, who is now my favorite underappreciated member. I showed Tina the layout beforehand, and she said it was so scary it would give people nightmares. The song is Time Will Tell, track #7 from HOT 5, and the Go Jae Won is from Go HOT, track #1 on Wolf and Sheep. This layout is viewable in resolutions of 640x480 and up. Picture courtesy of

Okay guys, I'm going to work on that new layout now... Poor Jae Won's only been up for a week, but... I'm a layout freak, so I'll make another one... Hehe. Besides, I am burnt out from work and writing that nasty long report all day... And I realize I really do abhor Times New Roman.

Rei-chan, honestly I have no idea what she was doing. It looked good when she did it, but I was just swiveling my wrists... *thinking* Hey, it all looks the same in the dark, right! Haha, probably not, but it's probably also better not to tell me I look stupid while doing it. I love the little mini rave light things though... Very flashy.

NOTE: I swear, this is the last time I'm babbling about asians for awhile...
I've decided that I very much like the word elusive.
I tried getting to Chelsa's pita, but for some reason it didn't work! Or at least, nothing showed up in the text area. Poo. If you can get to it at chelsa.pitas.com, do tell me! Leave a message in the gbook or something, hehe.
I wanna name something Elusive! Maybe I'll change the name of my Alexiel shrine or something... I don't think I'm ever gonna get around to making a shrine for every girl anime character that I love... Maybe make a mini-collective of small pages for them all... Sort of like my girl singer idea! Maybe I can call that Elusive... Yeah yeah! Another project list... Blah.
Bounce bounce bounce...
I do in fact like Drunken Tiger.
Anyways, I'm going to take a slight break from writing my report... I think I've been writing too long already, and I am quite tired. *yawn* You know, I was listening to One Love by 1TYM, which is definitely one of my favorite songs ever, and I was feeling sorry for Teddy... No one seems to like that kid either! I don't even like him very much [because he is quite ugly, heh], but I do like his towel... All I remember is watching the performance of 1TYM and J, and only Danny and Teddy were on. J and Danny looked like their good-looking selves [Danny's probably the only cute one, and he's only hot because he's buff, T_T Otherwise I probably wouldn't take a second look at that kid.], and Teddy was there with his towel and skull cap. Danny and J sang, and Teddy just went Uh uh uh, what what and all that rapping stuff. J did some diva moves, Danny acted cool and calm, and Teddy was waving his towel around.
I was thinking about that entire thing with why asian stars don't make it big in America... I wanna know how many non-asian people thought Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon was the best movie. I watched the DVD in Journalism class, and my teacher thought it was the most awesome movie, especially the martial arts. I was like, uh there's much better Chinese movies, and he was surprised to know that there were other Chinese movies where people flew around with crazy martial arts. Honestly, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon was only better than other Chinese movies I've seen because the cinematography was great. Most other Chinese movies I've seen were on bad quality tapes [black market *cough*], but Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon was visually pleasing. As for asian stars not getting anything in movies in terms of love scenes... [Doesn't Crouching Tiger count? That was a love scene!] Love scenes aren't something asian people want to do... Asian people are generally quite modest, and even in asian films, you generally don't see many love scenes. Of course there's more nowadays, but that's because even Asia has become more modern. Besides, I doubt Jet Li would ever have done a love scene with Aaliyah. I've heard that he's immensely faithful to his wife. He even gave up the role of Li Mubai in Crouching Tiger because he promised his wife he would if she were to become pregnant. She did, and the role went to Chow Yun Fat [who probably made a better Li Mubai than Jet Li anyways...].
Just thinking about Korean music videos also... I've heard that there was a huge shock over Park Ji Yoon's video for Sung In Shik [Adult Ceremony], because the video was a bit revealing. Actually, she was fully clothed, but the video was pretty steamy seeming... And Baik Ji Young got into some trouble for something... And just think about the H.O.T. songs that have been banned... You Got Gun, Natural Born Killer, Illusion... Asian people can be quite stiff.

Ate a ton of it for dinner, too...
Just read Jo's blog about asian stereotypes [here we go again!], and I find it hilarious about the math stereotype. That stereotype, I really don't understand. I'm really not sure what's wrong with being good at math. But yes, there are asians who are dumb, who suck at math, who do drugs and ruin their lives. It's just the cycle of asian parents and asian kids, that goes on and on until you move to America and lose it. I know my kids will lose their asian heritage. It makes me sad, but that's what happens.

So what's wrong with Hondas anyways? The thing with asian stereotypes is that everyone sees asian people as one group, and they stick particular traits to them because half the time, they are true for a lot of people. Stereotypes are never created unless they are somewhat true. Most asian stereotypes are not that bad. Sure, I can get offended by the bad ones, but they all have a root somewhere. I don't get pissed that there are stereotypes, because there are always people who do that or have that or whatever.
And considering the lack of asian stars in America... Is that necessarily a bad thing? Personally I would not like to see talented artists like Faye Wong or Utada Hikaru in the same circle as... Say Britney Spears. Asian culture is popular partly because it is hard to find and there's not a lot of it in America. If asian media started some massive spread across America, it just wouldn't be interesting anymore. Everyone would go pick up something new.
And what's the point of bringing up things with asian stereotypes all the time? It's not like they're going to disappear if we keep talking about them. If it doesn't bother most asian people [at least it doesn't bother me or I don't let it bother me], then just let it go...

Ahh! What is this with asian guys! I talk about them, everyone's talking about them! Asian guys are asian guys, asian people are whatever they want to be. Sure you can stereotype them, but they're not all that way.
Yeah, I know I enjoy poking fun at how stereotypical the asian guys I know are, but truthfully, asian people can be anything. They're capable of anything, just like any other race. I don't know who I agree with, I just don't understand why people are making such a big deal all of a sudden. There are hot asian guys, and then there aren't. So there.

Ho boy, I love Kabalarians.com... My Chink name is a guy's name, apparently...
Your name of Xiaoning is a dual influence: at times you can be extremely happy, expressive, full of fun, and good-natured; yet at other times you find congenial association impossible, being controlled by self-pity, moods, and depression. If you could express only the constructive qualities and restrain the negative qualities of your nature, you would always be good company. These contrasting qualities make it difficult for people to understand you and can lead to friction in your personal life. You are deep, philosophical, and refined, but your extremely sensitive nature causes you to become depressed over any real or imagined slight. You feel and sense much more than you can fully understand, and could become psychic if you delved into the occult. The problem then would be controllable thoughts, feelings, and reactions. You find it difficult to be patient, practical, and systematic, preferring to act impulsively as the spirit moves you. Indulgences could result in skin rashes, liver problems, heart trouble, or lung and chest congestion.
Hey, they caught my moodiness! And my slightly psychicness... And if that writing pic doesn't show up, it's because spree.com sucks. And my internet connection is dead.

There you go, ugly handwriting and all. Ooh, and you get to see some cute Korean notepaper that I never use. Mainly because half the time they say something completely off or completely fobbish. Sure it's amusing, but I don't have time to write people pretty little notes all folded up anymore. But I still like getting them, haha.

Ahh!! My parents forced me to go to some Chinese cafe thing for dinner, and when we got there... Well, after awhile this cute guy [and his girlfriend T_T] came in! Well, actually at first I thought he looked like he was nine years old [I'm really not sure why I thought that anymore...] Actually the thing was, he kind of looked like Fany... Weird. I think it was the eyes and nose. At first I wasn't sure if he was asian, but then I decided he was since he handled chopsticks very, very well... But the thing is, he was wearing the ugliest outfit I'd ever seen! Well, he was wearing a wifebeater... Now that wouldn't be all that bad except I don't like black beaters, and it was the kind of beater that wrestling people wear... And the other thing was that he wasn't particularly buff... Blah. He was cute! But he was with some white girl, heh. Well, I wasn't even sure she was white at first [never saw her face, so maybe paleish asian with blond streaks], but then I saw her tanline, and I was like, yup, whitey.
Hehe, I sound so racist! And of course, my parents brought home the little doggy bags in the takeout things. They even brought the rice home. Geez, I was thinking, Only asian people take rice home. It's not as if we don't have it everyday, but we still have to bring it home 'cause it's the asian thing to do. Kind of like how asian people also have collections of napkins from every fast food restaurant around, and you always, ALWAYS REFILL. Get your money's worth, hah.
Vanessa, you are immensely amazing and lovely. I love your blog! And Simon is just another cool guy. Narcissism is perfectly all right. I'll just say that you're an asian guy... [My new reason for anything and everything.]

Yes Cat, you are so right! Asian guys are quite effeminate and girly. A friend of mine wrote something about it in my yearbook: ...And that Fany looks like a girl. Geez, you need to sweat a more manly man. No asians are manly." [Fany is my love from Fly to the Sky!] I thought it was pretty amusing, considering he's an asian guy himself. Of course, he does have the most gorgeous eyelashes I've ever seen. What was even more amusing is that some of the younger asian guys in my school really look up to him, and one of them said, "What? He said that? And I thought he was so cool too! Wow, I had no idea he thought that asian guys weren't manly..."
I'm not a slob, but a lot of the asian guys I know spend so much more time and thought on their clothes and hair. Just looking at the amount of gel that goes into the hair, you can only imagine that they waste twenty minutes in the morning doing it. [I spend less than a minute brushing my hair in the morning, and that's it... T_T] And they can be very prissy about the hair. "No touch!" The time when Tina and I flicked Sei-Wook's bangs was extremely amusing: they bounced! They bounced back to their original position! *appalled*
There was the time when a few of my friends and I came to school dressed up as asian guys. We had huge pants, big shirts, jackets, big shoes... We even tried to gel our hair! [It doesn't work too well when you have long hair...] We even walked the walk, haha. [This was for costume day during Spirit Week... Hehe, we're lame, but it was fun.] So we actually borrowed some "authentic" asian guy pants from those who were willing... Sei-Wook has like fifteen pairs of pants so he let us borrow a pair of khakis. [If anything, I loved those pants. They slid off my hips, but it's all good. Belts are essential. And I don't even have narrow hips... So I wonder how Sei-Wook, who is skinny as a stick, manages to keep the pants up... I'm also wondering why Sei-Wook is willing to spend seventy dollars on a pair of pants. But then again, those pants were really nice... *envious*]
Asking for pants was plausible, but we doubted that the guys would give up their MD players for a day. Haha. My favorite memory of stupid asian guys was during some engineering competition when the guys had to design a wind-powered car... The car looked ghetto, but it did all right. The funny thing was that there was a Mercedes logo taped onto the top.
Ever notice that asian guys tend to have high voices? I'm always surprised when I meet an asian guy with a low voice, haha. I always think of Alex's squeal when I think of high voiced people. How can a guy be manly when his voice is high-pitched? Let's think: totally hot guy, but when he opens his mouth... XDDD
As for HOT looking like girls... Oh definitely. Kang Ta I've ratted about often enough. No question there. Woo Hyuk looks like an innocent little girl too. His Outside Castle look is quite girly also [although I love the fob glasses!]. Jae Won did get voted most prettiest [Most prettiest? Prettiest? Most pretty?] if he was a girl... I'm still trying to figure out exactly who the cross dresser was in Jen's quiz... Tony and Hee Jun are probably the least girly looking [?], but when they're with the rest, they all look rather scrawny and feminine.
Another thing... There's not many buff asian guys. Sure they're fit, but they're not buff. And when guys are scrawny, they have a tendency to resemble girls even more. That goes for all guys, not just asians.
All in all, although asian guys are quite amusing and interesting, I wouldn't say they're the best or even better than any other race. I might relish a truly hot asian guy more than a hot white guy [as an example] just because I find it hard to consider asian guys truly hot. I might think they're pretty or cute, but usually hot isn't the first word in description. There's far more hot white guys I know of then hot asian guys. Fany is cute and on the pretty side, Hideki was interesting looking, Jae Won is just interesting, Daniel is just a cute little kid. Usually I like guys for what they're capable of, anyways. Or what makes them intriguing.
Let's see... I thought Fany was cute, he could sing [he has a deep voice! Ahh!], he could dance, and he was so genki when he smiled. I just thought he was so cute! Ahh! I didn't even know what Hideki [of Siam Shade] looked like until I happened upon a picture of the 1/3 no Junjou na Kanjou single. I just liked his voice at first, hehe. But he's cute in a weird way. Jae Won is interesting... I felt sorry for him at first, but now I just think he's a cool person! He's actually pretty cute, but Kang Ta smothers him. Daniel... Erk, this would be one of the subjects that I wouldn't want people in my school knowing what I really think. Honestly, I liked the kid because he always made me laugh. Without trying, he'd make me laugh. Sophomore year was hard on my emotions, and the one thing I needed was laughter. And he is cute, but plenty of girls have discovered that already, haha. I am a bit bitter, but mainly because I wonder why I was ever stupid enough to jeopardize a friendship like that.
I read in some blogs about how they didn't want people from their school reading them. In the way, I understand what they mean. But then, it all depends on what you write in your blog. Mine is pretty much babble, so I could care less if anyone read it. I know a few people read it, but I doubt that many do. It's not as if it's that interesting or anything... Sometimes I don't want certain people reading it, but that would be like two people. The kind of smart ass people who claim they're not smart when they are frigging intelligent, and are named **** *****. That would be one person. The other is one of my old friends from Indiana who recently moved to Cali. I'm sure she'd give me a hard time about it. I won't elaborate in case they do read this.
About Harisu... He/she [I think I'll just go with he for now, ^^;] is definitely pretty. Much prettier than I am. Hehe, I'll admit that I'm somewhat envious. Oh, well. I doubt I'd make a very good looking guy, haha.
Vicka, did you get the email I tried to send you in reply to yours? I wrote one, pressed send, but my connection died sometime around then, so I'm not sure if it actually got sent. If not, I'll just send you another anyways. I am determined to find some good pictures of Siam Shade so you can make some nice little people. Really I just want a little Hideki person, hehe. Okay, I've decided that the TM Revolution layout is going for my collective. It needs a new layout, but I'm too lazy to make a complicated one, so I'll just stuff everything on one page, blog style. This blog is going to get a Hideki layout, if I could find a frigging picture of the dude. I've decided that Siam Shade needs more "publicity" than any of HOT [I swear they're more popular now than they were when they were actually a group, haha]. Besides, hopefully I'll get Abandoned done soon. Hehe... Hopefully...
I'm going to write that HOT History thing for the site now... While the program is running.
And I finally finished writing it... I just realized how much they accomplished. They did a lot, especially for not even five full years. It's kind of sad how they broke up, but what's happened happened.

I am seriously falling asleep... Ahh!!! I'm trying to listen to some bouncy music to keep me awake. Fly to the Sky, Candy... And I'm hungry! I'm hungry! I can't believe it... It's only 9:35, but it has been 4.5 hours since I ate breakfast... Blah blah blah. I choked on my Bowl of Noodles this morning. Tomorrow I'm eating cereal. [But it was the last Extra Super Spicy Bowl of Noodles left! I had to have it!]
I finally changed the background on this weirdo computer... It's a screen capture of half of the oppa section layout and half of my LabVIEW VI! Yay! *dork*
I was trying to write Jae Won's bio for Abandoned... Too hard! Ah, especially since there's like no information out there about him... So I wrote about when he was born, where he was born, that his mother passed away when he was ten [how tragic... And I don't mean that sarcastically!], and what schools he attended, and how his older sister became the most important woman in his life. Also about what the other members of H.O.T. had thought of him... He's such a sweet kid.
Lisa: He wouldn't be too bad looking if he didn't wear such weird makeup.
From Lisa, that's a compliment. From Lisa, "not bad" is a compliment. *sigh* The girl is hard to please. But since she's my best friend, I don't feel the need to continually please her. That's not my job.
I took so many screen captures yesterday! I took about tennish from the H.O.T. performance of Greatest Love of All... Now you don't even see Jae Won once full in the face, but I still took so many captures. [It's a good thing they have the lyrics on the bottom, because sometimes Kang Ta's English was really... Shabby. Not too bad, but his voice sounds thin in English. *cringe*]
Is Everybody Dance a H.O.T. song? It kind of sounds like it... I've always had it down as a H.O.T. song, but I never figured out what album it was from or anything... It's a weird song. It was like the third H.O.T. song I ever heard, and I remember thinking that they were really weird... Which they are, but I'm just used to it by now, haha.
Ahh, Jae Won is so talented... Abandoned Children is truly an excellent song...
For the happy people
All the happy people
For all the happy people in this world
I thought I was happy
Because I thought that money wasn't everything
I had nothing but my heart was always peaceful and happy
Two old aged people, parents, and younger sisters and brothers understood and cared each other
I lived like that day by day
One day, because of the money or because she hated us
Mother took all our fortune, left us, and disappeared
I couldn't understand at all
Father couldn't take it so he drank everyday and finally surrendered
He left to a far place where we can never see him again
Why did you abandon us
I can't forget, I can't forget
I don't know the fact that I can't see you anymore
I thought all of this was just a joke
But everything was the reality and the situations coming towards us made me face up to the reality
Grandmother was sick and laid down
Grandfather did the housework
I worked to earn money and kept up the living
I was now getting used to it but we were still poor and tomorrow wasn't there for us
Day by day, living was harder than dying
I want to believe that Father is praying for us from the sky
Help me to get away from this nightmare which I can't wake up
Why did you abandon us
I can't forget, I can't forget
I don't know the fact that I can't see you anymore
The rest of time is laid out in front of us
Even though everyone looks away
For the day with bright morning
I don't give up
We have to stand up again
And cannot forgive
Look, I'll live a good life for you to see
With the past, I sank
Can I go back
I remember the past
Now, it's like this
My life was continuously painful as you could see
I have no regret
Only hurting trials exist in my heart
When I look at myself, I'm sad
My heart hurts
I feel a lot of doubts
Days I promised to myself inside to live by force
Why did you abandon us
I can't forget, I can't forget
I don't know the fact that I can't see you anymore
Why did you abandon us
I can't forget, I can't forget
I don't know the fact that I can't see you anymore
I really like those lyrics. For once, a song that is not super mushy or stupid. [Not like that Willa Ford song... Geez.] Not like Hengbok, which, accordingly to Lisa, basically goes, Call me, call me, call me, call me... [But they do go Sarang hae, that much I do know...] Oh, oh! I learned how to say something useful in Korean... You are weird/strange. It's like... Na neun ee sang hae. [It had to do with the entire Sang Lee thing... I don't think this will interest anyone, but I will write about in Freestyling so Tina can read it when she gets back.] I'll have to say it to the next Korean guy I see. Unless it's Ji-Heon. I won't say it to Ji-Heon, but I definitely will to Sei-Wook. Or maybe Sang, since he's all into the Chinese: wo yao ma tong! [I want the toilet!]
I like those female rappers in 1TYM's Ready or Not Yo! Forgot their names, though... Some other YG group. I've decided that I should put up Jun Sa Ae Hoo Ye instead of Candy... So it'll be Jun Sa Ae Hoo Ye, We Are the Future Live, Line Up! Live, Iyah!, Tooji, You Got Gun?, Pu Ha Ha, Abandoned Children, Time Will Tell, and In My Dream. Heh... I think I had the wrong name for that song all along... The All Alone song... It was by H.O.T., not Shinhwa! Well, I'm pretty sure it is, because that sure sounds like Kang Ta. I thought the song was either All Alone by H.O.T. or All Alone by Shinhwa [doesn't exist], or Never Come to Me by Shinhwa... And that rapping sounded like Tony' fobbishness... And that rapping just sounded like Jae Won. Oops... Well, I'm stupid. I'm pretty sure it's called All Alone, but for some reason [I downloaded the song a long time ago...], when I put it in my Winamp playlist, it said it was called Never Come to Me... But I remember downloading some song called All Alone! Wahh! I'm in a dilemma. I suppose what I can do is download Never Come to Me and see what it sounds like... I'm almost positive it's All Alone by H.O.T. though. And they say ee sang! Yay!
Last kpop note for awhile [heh]: I like Nuh Rul Sarang Hae! I kind of want to hear the version of T.O.P. by S.E.S...
You know, people who try to act all mature and fake ass cool really annoy me. People who act all superficial and religious and self-righteous annoy me too. I suppose it all goes down to: I don't like people who don't act like themselves. I don't mean that it's wrong to put a front to people. Everyone has a side they show to the world and a private side for themselves. But I think it's aggravating when people try to act like something they aren't. I have to give props to people who are willing to show the private side of themselves to the world [I'm not one of them], but sometimes I still end up thinking... Too much information. Or people who are always starving for pity. There's a lot more to life than having other people praise you and kiss your ass all the time. Lots of times you want to learn how to live with yourself first. You don't have to love yourself, but if you can learn to deal with yourself, life will go smoothly enough.
I'm probably being preachy and crap saying that, but it's just what I think. I doubt it works with everyone, but it's not a terrible philosophy. I can live with it, and I suppose that's good enough. I can't expect everyone else to go by my philosophy and start kissing my ass, right? Haha. There's always going to be people who get on my nerves, just because I have a tendency to be very critical sometimes.
Live life without regrets, but don't go around creating new regrets for yourself. Think back to what you've done, but don't drown yourself in them. I try to follow those simple principles, but it doesn't always work. [No, I'm not looking for pity here. It's lame to say that, but I don't want any flaming, haha.] If it did work, you could call me Mother Allmighty and all kneel at my feet while hot guys feed me grapes on a slingback couch. Hehe.
Ooh, I feel like a preacher. *preaches down a house* I talk too much for my own good. Haha. I haven't heard the remix of Utada Hikaru's Distance [called Final Distance, I think?] yet. I used to really like Utada Hikaru. Well, I still do, but I just don't listen to her quite so much anymore. Even with all her newer songs, my favorites are still First Love and Wait and See. [Is there such thing as a slingback couch?] I think the first time I heard of Utada Hikaru was from Sei-Wook! Haha. Or maybe Caleb. [He probably has that mp3, haha.]
Ooh, I noticed that Allie had a Siam Shade song up at Eastern Vibe. Good, Siam Shade needs some publicity. I'll finish [or start] my site for them someday... I'm not sure where to start, because if there's zero information about Jae Won, there's a negative amount of information for Siam Shade. I have a minuscule amount of information about them and almost zero pictures. And I admit, Hamasaki Ayumi and Faye Wong are good, but I simply haven't listened to enough of their music to really like them. Oh, I was watching the S.E.S. and H.O.T. performance of Greatest Love of All, and Sea had to be the most tired looking girl I had ever seen. Shoo looked cute, Eugene looked kind of weird. [I don't like Eugene very much.] Sea looked so groggy that I felt bad for her!
Ahh... I'm getting so sick of my CDs... I can't stand listening to anything, but if I don't listen to anything, then I get really tired and lethargic and sleepy and I almost fall asleep. Ahh... I have an idea for Jae Won wallpaper! I get to use that scary pic of him [well, not that scary, just ee sang! Yay!]! Go home and Photoshop away. Me and my Photoshop are like *this*

I really have a thing for watching H.O.T. performances... They make me wanna try and dance too... Haha, actually ever since Can't Wait, I find myself bouncing merrily to whatever music comes my way...
Yay, Rei-chan is cool! How come I didn't discover her pita before! *stupid* But she's there now, and guys, I'm motivated to learn how to rave now.

Agh, I have a terrible stomachache.
I am a goody goody, I admit it. All summer I've been working at some engineering laboratory, and never do I think of getting drunk or anything. I'm just not daring [or stupid enough] to do anything like that. I'm just a traditional little chink. I don't party, I don't do drugs, I'm frigging BORING. Nothing ever happens to me. But usually I'm good with that. I don't want anything tragic to happen. I swear the most tragic thing that's happened to me was... That frigging D I got on the Bio exam. Hahaha.
I find it so amusing that some people can be so pressed over asian guys! Oh, it is so amusing! Obviously they don't enough about most asian guys... Sure, there are some that are topnotch, but you get that with any nationality, any race. Asian guys are not at all superior to whiteys, hispanics, or black people... But they are hairless, I'll give Allie of outcold.nu that much. At least, a lot of them are. Usually they find that very unmanly though. [But I'm all for the hairlessness, too!] And the reason why asians don't make it big in America? Half the time people expect all asians to be martial arts masters, but that ain't true by any means. When I was younger, I passed up learning kung fu for ballet... Ballet! Now I regret it, but whatever... What's past is past.
Ooh, Mary has a Hee Jun layout! Mmm, you don't see many of those... I always enjoy seeing H.O.T. layouts that don't feature Kang Ta... *remembers that she once made a Kang Ta layout* [But it was for Tina! I swear!]

Bwah! So Jenny was doing it correctly all along! Except RealPlayer and Windows Media Player are just nasty and don't let you take screen captures all the time... Thanks a lot for helping me though, Vicka!
Jo dear, I like that new layout, really. It's reddish! I love reddish layouts! Mainly because I could never make a decent looking reddish/orangeish layout...
I finally put the little notice at virtue.nu [the former home of
Chicoria
that I moved. A little late, I know... Heh. Okay, time to look for that TM Revolution picture...

Ooh, I'm in the blog layout brainstorm mood today... I really want to make a Kenshin layout! A Hiko layout! Chicoria needs a new layout too, but I'm really not terribly motivated to make some fancy layout... Probably just make a Misao blog-style layout and cram everything onto one page. I need to work on my web clique too... Heh. Make yet another blog-style page! Is it just me or I can't work with frames layouts anymore? [I used to be frames dependent too!] Maybe I'll just make the Misao layout and that'll do for Kenshin. I'll make a layout with some Chink star... But who? I've done a layout with Zhao Wei, I don't like Lin Xin Ru that much, Coco Lee is annoying, I can't find any good pictures of Elva Hsiao, I don't know a thing about Faye Wong, I don't know a thing about a lot of HK stars, I can't stand Yuki Hsu anymore... Maybe a Huan Zhu Ge Ge layout? I want to try and find a picture of Qing Er or Xiao Jian... Or maybe Xiao Deng Zi and Xiao Zuo Zi. Or a picture from Zhao Wei, Lin Xin Ru, and Su You Peng's newer series... Forgot the name though.
Or maybe a Japanese star... I was thinking TM Revolution or maybe Kuraki Mai. Probably TM Revolution since Heart of Sword was my first favorite anime song... Kuraki Mai is really a bust off Utada Hikaru, but she's not too bad. Vicka's Utada Hikaru layout is nice enough that I won't make one for my blog! There's been enough Hamasaki Ayumi layouts... I've already made a Siam Shade layout [speaking of which, I need to get a screenshot of that up]. I'm really trying to stray from making anymore kpop layouts for awhile... At least kpop guys, anyways. Baby VOX would be okay, although Cat's layout is great too. Blah! I'm not inspired! [I think I'm just going to play around with that purplish image of TM Revolution...]
The Jae Won site is going... Fairly well! I'll make some wallpaper with those five page layouts... I love Jae Won! More and more! That kid is just too weird. Lisa says she probably likes Woo Hyuk best, but whatever.
I'm really starting to like Baby VOX! I think I'm going to go and download some of Cat's Baby VOX mp3s... If they're still up, anyways. I need to expand my musical horizons... I listen to kpop too much. I should experiment with some jpop music... Some female singers, mmm. Or some Chinese singers... Really, I need to listen to some Chinese music. I've only listened to Huan Zhu Ge Ge music, some Elva Hsiao, some A-Mei, some Tsai Jolin, some Coco Lee, and a bunch of Teresa Teng since my parents love her. [But she is good!] Should get some Faye Wong songs [Cat recommended some, but I have yet to look for them, ^^;] and maybe some Sun Yan Zi or Joey Yung. Ask Jeanne for suggestions... She likes Shunza, too. Wait, the dear has just gotten a CD burner, so I could give her a CD and she could burn me a Chinese mix... Hehe. Good idea! *big grin*
Next time I go to China I'm picking up some Chinese karaoke VCDs... We have the stuff, but the only karaoke stuff is old stuff that my parents love. Blah. And I'm going to work on some layouts for the female singers site... It'll be located where Chicoria used to be, at virtue.nu.
Anyways... I'm trying to think of what songs to convert into RealMedia files for my Jae Won site... The files are only about 1 to 2mb in size [low quality!], so I'm thinking of putting maybe ten songs up for sampling. Four of them are four of the songs Jae Won wrote [I don't have Go3, which I think he also wrote... That was on the Age of Peace soundtrack or something.], Time Will Tell, Abandoned Children, Pu Ha Ha, You Got Gun... So I need to pick six others... Now I wanted to put In My Dream, which is from Fly to the Sky 1 and features HOT, so five more... [There's a nice long Jae Won part in the song too!] I'm thinking Iyah!, Tooji, live performances of We Are the Future and Line Up, and one more... Probably Illusion, since that song is one of my favorites. I'm not going to post any HOT ballads because frankly, all you hear is Kang Ta and a little Hee Jun in them anyways. But I need to find some application that encodes mp3s off a CD. Actually, maybe not Illusion since I have two songs from HOT 5 already... I think I'll put up Candy! So we got one from HOT 1, 1 from 2, 2 from 3, 3 from 4, 2 from 5, and 1 from F2TS 1.
I always wondered what that white lady from the Candy video was thinking when she was filming the video... A bunch of weird asians? I always thought that video was amusing because they're wearing huge overalls and mittens, and there's a random white woman in the video. Or in the Iyah! video that was filmed in New York... Random scarily dressed asian people standing in the streets... Hee Jun had the freaky fingernails, Jae Won had the funky reddish hairdo, even Tony looked strange. Woo Hyuk had the cute longish blonde hair. Kang Ta looked his normal long banged self [but really pale].
Key Jae Won parts:
Outside Castle: Outside Castle [02:21, 03:32]
Ahh! I can't figure out when he sings/raps in the Candy video! Whatever.
Sometimes I wonder why I always get pressed over this and that. I never get pressed over actors, just singers. Sometimes anime guys too, haha. It's not really worth it to be obsessed, but it's certainly amusing and fun. It's only when it starts getting annoying and it's not fun anymore that it should stop. So far I think I've found a good outlet for most of my obsessions lately. Making websites is a good way to figure out how much you actually like something... If you get sick of it in the middle, then it's a good way to start getting over something.
Except I'm not about to make shrines to some of my former human real live crushes. That's too lame, even for me.
Or even reading about what you're pressed over. Later you re-read it, and you're like, ho what an idiot. Well, at least I do that. I cringe at reading some of my old journal entries. They're pretty pathetic. I sound like a pressed fool.
I'll give Kang Ta this much: he is extremely talented. As for looks, I think he looks far too girly for a guy [Tina showed Mr. Wei a picture of Kang Ta, asking him if Kang Ta looked like a guy in the picture or not. Mr. Wei's response: Yea, I guess he looks like a guy in that picture, but you don't want to be doubtful about those kind of things.], although he is good looking. He has a great voice but it does get on my nerves. Oh yea... I dig his chin. So don't get me wrong, I don't hate the guy. I just think he's overrated.
Kind of like how I used to really like 'N Sync [Oops, I'm jumping back and forth from subjects here]. Very pathetic. I used to really like Justin Timberlake too. Really pathetic! *cringe* It can be so embarrassing to me... But there you have it. The 'N Sync CDs, including singles and the Christmas album, all sitting in my CD case...
AHH!!! LISA!!! She is certainly the most evil.
Lisa: *walks into Jenny's lab with a bunch of papers*
Jenny: *takes paper and looks at it*
Paper: [well, this is what was on the paper] *blahblahblah* Kang Ta - Zoë
Jenny: WHAT?!! Why am I with Kang Ta? [You evil!]
Lisa: They weren't supposed to be pairings... Just what I thought would be really funny... [Hehe, I had nothing better to do!]
Jenny: [Maybe doing work is good...] But Kang Ta's like ten feet taller than me! Okay, maybe only like 5'10" or something... [I'm only like 5'5"!]
Lisa: What? You want Hee Jun then? [He's short!]
Jenny: *hesitant* Uh... Fine, I'll just look at Kang Ta's chin the entire time.
Lisa: *laughs at Jenny* [Hehe, I'm evil!]
Jenny: *indignant* [Hey, you got Jae Won!]
Lisa: Hahahaha... [I'll be leaving now...] You can call me when I get home...
Jenny: Bye! [What makes you think I want to call you? Get out!]
Alas, Lisa did not win the Most Evil award at the Magnet Picnic. Actually, no one did. All I remember was that Daniel laughed at me and gave me a strange look when I said I voted for Lisa for Most Evil. I'm surprised I haven't gotten sick of her after spending nearly two months straight seeing her everyday for at least four hours a day...
And that is why [another subject flip!] when Lisa said that Hey Come On! sounded like an 'N Sync song, I freaked. Honestly I look back upon my liking 'N Sync as a sort of "dark" past. [Thank you very much, but Hey Come On! is much better than dirty pop... Not to mention that the dance is much better too. And Min Woo is much better looking than Justin Timberlake. Heh, I'm getting all defensive.] Considering the fact that not one of the 'N Sync members can sing [JC could, but now even he can't anymore! And Justin is so nasal it ain't funny... Man, I'm tirrred of singing.], I'd say Shinhwa is much better. *defensive defensive*

I just realized that I'd never linked any guys' blogs! But now there are... *drumroll* TWO! Haha, and they're both on mokushi.net... Funny.
I haven't watched any Chinese shows lately... Mainly because my VCR is gone in the basement where my grandma is watching about 5 billion different series... I could join her, but I've checked. There's no hot guys in any of those series. Or if they are hot, they're certainly not anymore since the series are so old...

And I'm having problems taking screen captures... As usual. I spent ten minutes getting just one of Jae Won from the Michael Jackson concert performance of Line Up. But I did finally figure out how to convert mp3s to wavs... And I need to convert some media stuff to RealMedia stuffs so I can put it on my site! Hehe, I'm really starting to like this guy! He's so untypical... Some more report BS:
Stemming from these recent discoveries, a new project was created that would utilize an array of acoustic sensors to detect an unknown sound source. For this particular project, an array of 8x8 microphones was wired and connected to a 64-channel data acquisition capable of receiving data from each of the 64 microphones. Sixteen acoustic sensors were wired to each of four circuit board consisting of one capacitor and two resistors each, with a rainbow cable carrying the signal to the data acquisition card.

Ew, I need to finish writing my report for SEAP... Or maybe start it. This is all I have so far...
In recent years, acoustic sensor technology has been developed to monitor physiological aspects of a soldier's performance on the battlefield. Using sensors attached to various parts of the body such as the chest, neck, or wrist, heartbeat and breathing rates can be monitored. The development of this type of sensor technology is essential to knowledge of a soldier's performance because it can help determine whether the soldier is well-rested and capable of combat or whether the soldier is fatigued and cannot perform well on the battlefield.
Research conducted at the Army Research Laboratory has determined that acoustic sensors coupled with fluidlike gels are effective in collecting physiological data while also eliminating much of the ambient noise from the surrounding environment. When placed on a soldier's throat or temple, these gel-coupled sensors are immediately capable of detecting breathing and heartbeats. The significance of utilizing acoustic sensors in place of other types of sensors is acoustic sensors provide information for many bodily functions at once.
Blah.
