Yeah, I'm here on a Saturday. Few things to say... firstly, Paul signed my guestbook, awwww. Isn't he sweet? ;)
Secondly, Leila is back. I am so glad. I missed you sweetie.
Lastly, and the reason I'm here on a Saturday....
I left the job yesterday. The one that's been driving me mad. And I start the new one on Monday. And the plan is that I won't be permanently bored and constantly updating. So sometime soon I will come in one evening and get the new version FINISHED and everything will be good :) But basically I'll be updating less and writing journal entries from home more to bring in. Also I'll be visiting you all less. But I still love you all and will be round as much as I can. Just don't want to get back into bad habits.

Liverpool won the Uefa cup last night!!!!!
And for those who I sent the survey to saying that I don't watch sport... generally speaking, I don't. I only watch once in a blue moon. But I have a soft spot for Liverpool (and for Newcastle). And it was a damned good game. Although letting four (FOUR!!!!) goals through after being two up wasn't their best laid plan ;)

You Americans are missing out. You might have had a fiasco of an election, but you didn't get to see Al Gore or Dick Cheney punching someone who'd just thrown an egg at them. Funny :D

It's nice to know that we British have learnt our lesson that your vote counts. I mean OK, she's changed her mind, but still....
Democracy... neither the Labour party nor the Tories come anywhere close to representing my views. The Lib Dems come closest, although they're not perfect. But last night William Hague was shown on the news saying basically that if you vote Lib Dem you're wasting your vote, that there are only two parties that can win.
Democracy. Don't you just fucking love it?
Anyway, the tories are looking at being wiped out. My best case (realistic) scenario would be Labour getting in with a small majority, Lid Dems coming second and the Tories relegated to third.
I can dream.....

The article also links this article about the possible effects of decriminalisation. I see nothing to convince me that it's worse than alcohol.

I don't have time to write a proper journal entry. I only wish I did. It was gorgeous. The weather was perfect. I wish I could have bottled up the feeling for another day.
But it doesn't work like that.
