Did anyone hear that the Taleban are said to be regrouping? No, thought not.

'"The Taliban leaders ... apparently ... are running new organisations ... here are two organisations outside Afghan-istan. We do not have details of the organisations or their structure, but on the whole it is not acceptable that the Taliban is able to act either outside or inside Afghan-istan in any capacity."' This from Dr Abdullah Abdullah, the foreign minister of Afghanistan.

But we've bombed them now. We've had our revenge on Afghanistan, we've set up some scheme of government. It's time to move on now and bomb some place else.

Does it not worry anyone else that the situation for women might go back, might end up worse? Because it scares the shit out of me.

go on... go out and do this now. leave some money in the coffee machine so someone gets a free drink. wash someone else's coffee mug in work without telling them. buy a friend flowers 'just because'. stick up a poem on a noticeboard. go and ask in an old people's home if there is anyone who doesn't ever get visitors and sit with them for a while. smile at a stranger. let someone pull out of a side street in front of you. call your mum or dad or grandparents to tell them you love them. make someone a cake. draw this saying and stick it on a noticeboard where people will see.

spread beauty through your life. you can change the world like this.
