...of course, it may help you read the entry I added this morning now that I've added the link for July to the list....

New journal entry. It started out as just an entry here, but then it made me think. It's only short, but it's interesting, i think.

Finally, the entry for nearly two weeks ago (29 June) has been added. It's good. Go read.

You know what pisses me off?

On Breakfast News on the BBC this morning there were various headlines, including the fact that the Northern Ireland talks are going on into a third day (even though they seem not to be going well, they're still talking... just) and the fact that Childline reports today that children as young as six are trying to commit suicide, even while actually on the phone talking to counsellors. Shocking stuff.

But do you know what beat these to be the top news story of the morning?

The fact that Marks and Spencer's profits on clothes sales are down by 9%.

This society makes me sick.

I promise I'll stop posting Goran Ivanisevic articles now, but this one shows him now he's shaved off his beard. Again, what a sweetie!!!!

And apparently, Republicans have more nightmares than Democrats. What more can you say.

Oh and just look at the photo at the top of this. I want to cry looking at that. He's so proud of himself. Awwwwwwwwww.

I am such a sucker for the underdog.

My man Goran won wimbledon yesterday. I was one of very few people in this country wanting him to win against Tim Henman in the semis. I've been playing Fantasy Tennis (and doing damned well - I was 157th!) and I had Goran and I didn't have Tim. And he won that, and he won the final, and he was such an outsider... awwwwww.

What a sweetie!

I am so fucking tired. I had less than four hours sleep last night and I feel sick.

I was looking forward to being back at work as well. Last week was so tiring and stressful that I was glad to be coming back today. (Not that the week wasn't good, it was - just far too much to do in a short time.)

I'll write off today. Maybe tomorrow will be better.

"practice random kindness and acts of senseless beauty"

go on... go out and do this now. leave some money in the coffee machine so someone gets a free drink. wash someone else's coffee mug in work without telling them. buy a friend flowers 'just because'. stick up a poem on a noticeboard. go and ask in an old people's home if there is anyone who doesn't ever get visitors and sit with them for a while. smile at a stranger. let someone pull out of a side street in front of you. call your mum or dad or grandparents to tell them you love them. make someone a cake. draw this saying and stick it on a noticeboard where people will see.

spread beauty through your life. you can change the world like this.
