one thing that the army has changed for me is to find 6 hours of sleep more than suficient. so yea, i went to sleep at midnight and so i'm up at 6am. project circadian rhythmn was it? haha. anyway school's starting soon, and most of the days start at 830 so yeah. wonder if im up to a morning jog. nah. haha.

i went for the trailblazer bbq last monday. twas fun :) it was a setting where we just came together to have some food and crap around instead of being embroiled in the activities of camp or whatever. really nice people. i hope smu people are as nice. heh.
tapestry this weekend. quite a bit of songs to learn but i think i got them all covered. im quite confident. im just gonna have fun performing again. :) hope you guys come down..orchard this weekend.. somerset mrt on the first day and far east plaza on the second.

busy day. tired out. heh. i wont be able to do as much when i start school so yeah.. its okay. went jamming with pale pretense at 2 to 4 pm at Garage studios. we're ready for tapestry. drumming high with quite painful side-effects. heh. food at burger king.. chicken whooper meal at 4 bucks. happiness costs 4 bucks. haha. that lasted me the whole day. went down to baybeats with lin and jacq. caught moods. (i planned to catch Buddhiston, Moods, Force Vomit, Venus Butterfly, Seven Collar T-shirt, Last Days of April, Return to Fall, Surreal and My Squared Circle but could only catch a handful. sigh) heh. moods.. my cousin's the drummer. so is her brother. must be in the blood or something. heh. Moods is the kinda band that can play anyway i think. Love the portishead influence and all that. i met loads of people at baybeats. too many to list. but all's good. even people i dont know seem to know me. heh. anyway went down to boons for jamming with mte then home.
you have to admire the beauty of baybeats. a gig on such a scale running so smoothly. god bless john c and family and wakemeupmusic and rockstarcollective and everyone involved. heh. local music lives.

Salaams 04: Venatoris NTUMS Freshie Orientation Camp.
loads of fun the last three days. it was a very well organized camp. with really wonderful activities. not talking about just going around and cheering and stuff like that. we're talking night waterbombs-war with full tactics and strategies amidst the trees. activities that had us running all over singapore. yes singapore. from the east to the west. unique experiences in the middle of the night. i'm trying not to divulge anything here in case you guys mite want to go next year or something but suffice to say, you definitely wont be bored. it was wonderful meeting up with the trailblazers people again. and meeting new people. the only sad part was me being the only smu student amidst ntu and nus people, i wont really get to see them all that often any more. at least i got to know them which was nice.

current music the format - tie the rope
my day yesterday was jamming with pale pretense. my right knee hurts. i may be knocking it against the snare drum or something the whole way yesterday and not notice. i think we're more or less prepared for tapestry.
i've been taking stock of my life the last few days. deciding what takes priority and all that. my grades are going to take first priority, ive decided. i must not lose to those scholars in terms of grades. i simply wont. i do realize though that music is starting to dominate my life less but its still a major priority. i have to juggle that with giving tuition and other stuff like that. yup.
