The Empty Bowl
Finally, a website that speaks to me! The Empty Bowl is a webzine devoted to serving the cereal eating community. That's me! Here you'll find reviews, feature articles, and general discussions about the greatest breakfast product on the face of the earth: cold cereal!

How Stuff Works
If you're a Discovery Channel junkie like I am then you will love this site. This site explains the science behind caffeine, tattoos, light sabers, and electric guitars. Go to this page, learn something, and sound smarter at the next party!

Roller Girl!
Heather Graham is definitely on my list ever since I first saw Boogie Nights. Watch out Jennifer Love Hewitt, Rebecca Gayheart, Cameron Diaz, Katie Holmes, and the others... there's a new girl in town! Here's a cool page with lots of delicious pics.

Former Child Star Central
What are Punky Brewster, Urkel, and Cousin Oliver of the Brady Bunch up to? Keep tabs on all of them little bastards with this nifty website!

Let Her Show You...
Lady Rachel has put together a great site for those that like Stephen King, Twin Peaks, Garbage, or just cute Detroit girls! A fun home page to surf.

Select Smart
Select Smart (or should I say Elect Smart) is the place for unbiased decision-making information based on your preferences. You simply answer some questions to find out which presidential candidate most closely matches your views! And then when you've figured out which of the 16 candidates is your man, then check out some of their other fun Select Smart topics. This site will also help you with baby names, dog breeds, cars, wine, lawyers, colleges, and even a romantic date!

Cat Scan
Not the kind you get in the hospital... This site displays entries and winners in a contest of images of digitally scanned cats... that is, people who have actually put their cats on the scanner!

Build Your Own Boba Fett
Wow! This guy gives you amazingly detailed step-by-step instructions on recreating the Fett magic. Don't ask how he knows how to build an actual costume, but it's amazing.

Billboard Liberation Front
The BLF encourages people to use any means possible to commandeer the existing media and alter it to their own design. Check out the pictures on the site -- they "touch up" billboards to give them a whole new message.

Scorecard
Do you want a wake-up call? Check out this site constructed by the Environmental Defense Fund. You can learn who is polluting your neighborhood and what chemicals you are breathing, drinking, etc.

Haring's World
This is a very well-designed website about my favorite artist. The Keith Haring Foundation has put together an online art gallery that breathes new life into Haring's art and message.

The Funk Soul Brother
You've heard his songs, but have you heard his mixing? Fatboy Slim is one of the best DJs in the world. Don't believe me? Go to this site to hear two-hour DJ sets by Mr. Norman Cook!

Cream or Sugar?
I thought I was a coffee connoisseur until I visited this site. If you love a good cup of Joe, there's more than 400 coffees on this site. A must-visit site for those who don't like their java in a blue & white can.

Stop E-mail Vandalism!
Several states have laws against unsolicited e-mail, or "spam". But few victims know that they're protected -- or how to go about recovering damages. This site will help you hit the spammers where it hurts!

All Squirrels Must Die!
This site is great! The 'Squirrel Defamation League' has put together a convincing case against the furballs from hell. I think they have issues, but then again, those pesky squirrels have been crawling all over my roof lately... the only thing worse than these suburban rodents is... clowns...

I Hate Bozo!
This is a great site for those who hate clowns. Check out pictures of jesters from hell, stories from anti-clown folks, and great jokes about those who try to make us laugh but only make us cry in terror.

Gotta Have Faith
Keep The Faith is a passionate and humorous site for people with cancer or those wanting to offer support to loved ones with 'the big C.'

mutt or poodle?
Pick the right dog! Use the Dog Breed Information Center to find the perfect dog breed for your dog needs. Want a talker? Protection? A weiner that does tricks? A hypo-allergenic dog? Find here to get the poop, I mean scoop, er...

Party like it's 1999
Planning a party? Here's a really cool site that builds free invites. Fill in the facts, and evite will e-mail or fax your invitation to your friends. Also gathers RSVP and offers maps to the event.

Bush Family Values
I usually goof off like a 12 year old and don't get too political, but I wanted to send traffic to these two sites since election day is almost upon us. This site has some background info about fundraising whiz and presidential hopeful George W. Bush. I spent time in Texas under his crazy-ass rule, so I am more than happy to supply this link.

A Letter To Mrs. Bush
The other site... this is a copy of a moving letter sent to former first lady Barbara Bush about the alleged drug use of George W. Read it, or move on to the more light-hearted links below.

How To Not Get Busted For Being A Kid
Darkly sarcastic advice for high school students on how to avoid trouble from paranoid and ignorant authority figures. Good stuff!

I bent my wookie!
This is a beautiful tribute site to the dumbest character in Springfield: Ralph Wiggum. Enjoy this site while eating paste and watching the Simpsons.

Who says D'oh?
Another Simpsons site -- where is my head today? Follow this link to an awesome Simpsons Trivia page. But novice beware: this site even stumped me on a few.

All Things Pagan...
Here's a really cool page to explore the world of Wicca. for those who don't know, it's the real-life "witchcraft." No broomsticks and black cats here. Last year on our morning show, we interviewed a local wiccan teen who was banned from wearing a pentagram to school. Her principal should have visited this site.

Save the Shopping Cart!
There are no official estimates on the number of shopping carts that are violated each year, but the Center for Shopping Cart Abuse Prevention has created a web site to put an end to um, the abuse.

For Those Taking A Dirt Nap
A perfect site for Halloween... "Find A Grave" is a creepy directory of celebrity graves. A search engine will tell you where your favorite late-actor is buried, or give you a picture of your favorite musician's cemetary plot. boo!

The Jack O' Lantern
Meet Kelly Walker. See Kelly lose her fun radio DJ job. See Kelly turn her obsession into her business! Unlike Spike, who dedicates hours to a website with no purpose, Ms. Walker has built one kick-ass Halloween site. It is exhaustive. And you can buy all kinds of creepy-crawly things for October 31st. Visit this site and support a fellow out-of-work DJ.

I Love You Carson!
What is it about being on TV that will cause people to stand in four hours of rain? It's not like their "N-Sync 4 Ever" sign will change the world! The Today Show and MTV cause hundreds of people to stand in Times Square traffic every day, all for the sake of... well I don't know what. While in NY, I saw the new fishbowl ABC built to prove there are no original ideas... and CBS is trying to get in on the voluntary voyeurism too. Read on...

The Hall Monitor
These guys put their every last dollar into an incredible independent movie, which they completed two years ago. It's a black comedy about violence in school. Soon after they finished the film, kids decided to start shooting their classmates in Jonesboro, Littleton, etc. Now the movie studios won't touch this hilarious movie with a ten foot pole. If you are a producer with the urge to give these filmmakers a few million for distribution, check out the Hall Monitor.

Celebrity Baby Index
My beautiful wife has "baby fever." I want to start a family too, but there are so many pressures. Like coming up with a baby name, for instance. Celebrities are famous for naming their kids goofy acid-trip names like Rumor, Snowdove, Celestial, and other names that will earn their children daily beatings in school. This sight catalogs them all.

Gay or Eurotrash?
Do you have "Gaydar?" Could you play for the other team? This site helps you sharpen your skills in realizing who is and who isn't sporting the stereotypes. Stay tuned for part two: "Lesbian or German Lady."

Hooray for eDay!
If you've surfed through the eBay site, then you know how strange some items on the block can be. Here's a site that highlights one bizarre auction item each day.

Save The Cheerleaders
this nation is in danger of losing its national treasury: Cheerleaders! It has recently become uncool to be a cheerleader -- something has to be done! Help keep Graeme off the street.

Barenaked Ladies fans
Click away if you like BNL. It's a well-crafted site that a former Edge listener put together. Especially fun is Lisa's summer tour diary, in which she confesses that her parents didn't know she was driving to North Carolina and Wisconsin to see her favorite band. Reminds me of driving down to Philly to see U2 in the 6th grade. "Mom, we're going to the mall!"
