This trip to the library was bewildering! Firstly, i was at the library with meilin when i came across this book that caught my attention. I opened the book and amazingly, there's the names Mei Lin and Ping on that particular first page i've flipped to! If this isnt eerie enough, then there came another happening that still leaves me puzzled till now. I remembered trying to delete messages in my sms inbox and i was going to delete waikit's msg. And maybe i didnt delete after all because i was talking to meilin halfway and probably the fact that his msg was still showing on the screen, i hurled the phone into meilin's bag. After the encounter with that strange book with Mei Lins and Pings, i received two puzzled msges by waikit and vernon. Checked my outbox and i realised i've forwarded that waikit's msg i was going to delete to both of them! How very mystifying! You see, their names are separated by five other names and strange enough, they are my angel and mortal too. Huhhhhh! And our laughters broke the silence in the library because we were imagining what vernon's reaction would be like as the message was addressed to Mad Mortal.
I would like to be a psychic. I would like to read your mind because you are such an enigma. Have you ever tried talking to someone who successfully, without much effort, makes you feel stupid and wished you had never opened your mouth?

I wish i can place those slender fingers of mine over the white black keys of the piano and speak my heart through capturing the beautiful essence of music. To feel each pitch synchronize with the waves of emotions held within and be immersed in the fluidity of my own playing.
Thanks girls. I really enjoyed the singing session today. How warm can one's heart get when one just have to hum a few tunes and next see the rest mouthing the exact same lyrics as you do, along with ivy's deft fingers at work to make all songs possible. We were all enthralled by my saint raffles partner, i must say. I love acapella! Though we were quite unsuccessful haha. It's amazing how all sorts of sounds can intertwine to weave a striking piece of composition. Harmonising is fun too! I'll get myself to learn guitar soon i hope.

Caught Uptown Girls with meilin today. Initially, i wasn't really interested after looking at the trailer. I thought it was going to be another silly typical comedy but it turned out to be quite different from what it appeared to be. This film ignited laughters as well as evoked tears. I think it is really touching and meaningful! I think i've learnt quite a bit of lesson today.
I went mad writing a lot of testimonials in friendster, even for those people whom i ain't close to anymore. I had this sudden urge to tell these people that they had made a difference in my life. It's true that you can forget what people have said, or what you have told people, but you will always remember how people have made you feel. And to feel appreciated and remembered is a really wonderful feeling!
Now enough of me. I'm getting cheesy.

Waah, can't stand it. I just finished watching LOTR 1 again and i'm so in love with the show all over again! Can't wait to watch The Return of the King with kai (we promise to watch the whole trilogy together)! It really feels weird to immerse in the world of elves, rangers, monstrous creatures and hobbits, shadows and flames, power and evil for three hours, then thrown back to reality. If anything, i want to live in River Dale! Or embark on the arduous yet exciting trip to Mordor with the fellowship. Morever i get to work hand in hand with Legolas and kai's Aragorn! Muahaha. Okays, pardon me, i need to snap out of my fantasy world.
I finally realise why my post promos period is so boring. Maybe i should stop asking and expecting too much and coop myself up at home and watch VCDs.

Ate pizza hut (again!!) with ailian, lilian, wenhooi and vivien yesterday and we talked for around three hours! Just put a few girls together and you see the results. I have to admit that lilian is the ultimate gossipmonger! -impressed-
I feel stupid. I just realised that i've spent eighty bucks on a stupid exam (SAT) which i probably will study for say, one hour? :(
My stamina really sucks now. I could barely make it through the two beeg rounds today. :/ Oh, by the way, today's sunset was so lovely i really wished i had a camera phone. Had to bring the squash racket home for the pe teachers. Can't wait to play again on tuesday! :)
Can't wait to see my two girls tomorrow and we gonna eat something good yay!

Sometimes it's not good to question your happiness because there's no answer to it.
Decided not to go for both lectures after all. Sinhui and i went back st nicks but unfortunately, my appetite was getting smaller. Only managed to eat orange bowl, chicken, roasted potato and two cups of milo. I want to move stalls to hwachong! Hehs. I simply love st nicks. It's so bright and cheerful everywhere and i feel there's always a place here for me.
Sorry bingyi. I slept for four hours so i was a tad late in sending you the powerpoint slides! I hate eye pee double u. Eeks. And i feel ultra silly because i've chosen THIS saturday for SAT and i havent touched anything yet. Arghs.

Mr Phua tat hua (my dear assistant chem rep) got the lowest for attitude during chem lessons, 1/3! Everybody were laughing at him haha. :) I bet if it's econs, sinhui will get -3 or something. Hehe. -oops-
Still quite happy today over yesterday hee. And sinhui was so happy for me. Hee. :) I just hope this sudden but transient happiness won't fade away so soon.

I read this somewhere, that life in itself is lifeless. It's how we explore it and how the people around us decorate it that makes life beautiful. It's true. Don't misunderstand. Life does not suck. Just remember that when you can't get something you want, don't be sad. Coz God is thinking of something nicer for you. :)
And yayyyyyyy, nobody knows how happy i am now besides meilin. A rare dose of elation. Hehe. :D

What happens when you've reached a certain point in your life where you discover that the people revolving around your life aren't quite what they seem to be? What happens when you hate this person for doing something seemingly hateful to you, but you realise they did this because they love you? How do you undo an action? How do you un-say a word? If every hurting word you hurl causes a dent in someone's heart, how do you fill it up again?
I hate to feel angry, then let regret slowly eat me up inside because of the anger i've created.
It seems that there are so many other things in life that we've neglected but are often important. But we've often been working under the influence of others, that some concerns overshadow the others.
Sighs. I want my old life back. I realised there are some things in life that i can never get back anymore. Lost friendships, memorable events, or even normal mundane routines that have weaved into a big part of my precious memories. And all these slip through your hands unknowingly along the sands of times that when one day you realise it's gone, it's too late. What happens when you forget? They will be gone forever. Perhaps you wouldnt know what the hell have i been crapping today, or who am i mentioning, i just hope some of you know you've made a difference in my life.
But then again, every moment now is a moment we should grab hold and make good use of. To create beauty in them for us to keep down the road.

I didnt know how meilin ended up in my house after travelling for one hour from bishan, or why is she here to travel one hour to school tomorrow. Anyways, open house tomorrow. How time flies. Just one year ago, i was here, all excited about visiting VJC, just a little curious about hwachong and raffles, and a little bit of the rest. And now, i'm here in hwachong. It's a weird feeling, i must say. Because i cant quite say i've integrated into the brown building, with the best jc library in singapore, or should i put it this way, simply the people. Yet i don't really regret coming here. Bahhhs, i'm confusing myself again.
Humans are really such funny creatures. We know we should always be happy as life is short, yet we're always ready to morph into little figures of depression. Happy thoughts dissolve so easily, while negative feelings haunt so obstinately. Sighs. I've been at it for so long, maybe it's really time to say goodbye. Perhaps then will there be a better tomorrow. Though it's going to be my toughest task now.

Bahh, i thought pitas would be gone forever. I'm so angry at myself for falling sick! Could have played ball games. Was really disapppointed yesterday when i realised FOS for me means sitting at the stage in the hall and waiting for players to swarm up and collect/hand up line-up forms when we announce their classes. Sighs. And i barely played. One match to be exact. Mario really spoilt it all. (Ever heard of playing inter-class badminton matches with PLASTIC shuttlecocks?!) Anyways, i realise that ball games are really much much more exciting to watch than badminton. Ahhhhhs. Really wanted to substitute sinhui at half time today but i was afraid of my sickness. Arghhhhs. Whatever. Can't wait to watch the basketball finals tomorrow. :) If anything, i want to start FOS again! :(

I have been sleeping really early ever since promos ceased to pose as a threat to my sleeping hours. And to sit here in wee hours of the day and feeling the impact of distorted thoughts and drifting emotions is something i do not want to wake up to.
Watched Infernal Affairs 2 with char, lilian and seowhong on tuesday. Despite popular belief, i think the prequel is just as good as the first! I am amazed as of how the filmaker can switch scenes that happen simultaneously, yet at full blast that audience can feel the full impact of each scene. I love the way the plot cleverly unravels into a trail of surprising discoveries that audience pick up on the way, leaving us all engaged throughout the film, eager to know what happens next. Using the complex Hongkong underworld as a background, i guess it really shows that there's no defined good and bad guy, only a grey patch in the middle. Like the guy in the show, sometimes you have to break the rule to prevent more rules to be broken. Sometimes you are perceived as the bad guy, but that's only because you were overwhelmed by anger. You care for your family and that's the reason for your death. Tragedies of ironies. Sighs.
I think i'm going to watch Infernal Affairs 1 and LOTR 1 again. :)
