well the freak out finally arrived. i think it had a lot to do with being so damn tired. but i know it was a little more than that. work was kinda shitty today. but oh well. after work i hung out with tim a little bit and we ran into a few people. justyn is moving to las vegas. thats cool. he might even see forest over in hawaii. today after i got home and showered lauren and i went and bought a TV with a tape player in it. i bought it for monica. she had bought video cassets assuming she was getting their TV/VCR but they decided not. i bought some shoes. then monica came over. we hung and just couched one last time...(yes it is over dramatic.) i kinda lost it. today was a long day, i need a weekend. i havent slept-in more than 15 minutes in like 3 weeks. we picked up a hitch-hiker and his dog. nice guy, from alaska and all. work wont be too bad tomorrow, and hopefully i can see monica. i dunno if the thing with nam is going to fall through or not. i need to call him. well i am tired and hung over and tired.

i had a good day today. my snot was black. that isnt healthy. after work i picked up all my photos from fred meyers. then i went to monicas. we had a project to do. her ghetto ass old moldy mini-fridge was a mess. i think it was depressing her. so we cleaned it out with bleach. then we primed it, painted it black, and laquored it. very cool. it took like 5 hours. but it was good. i think it gave her more of an "it is my fridge and it looks badass" feel. but other than that i just gaurded the paint from a little asian brat and watched him spit on himself. tomorrow will be a long day. goodnight

work seemed long today. i feel ripped off. they tried telling me that "some people are getting paid differently." bullshit. i have been there longer and done shittier fuckin work than the other guy who ended up with 10 something an our. 8.74? that doesnt mean shit when you are finding fuckin heroin needles and human shit around where you have to work. so needless to say, i took my time and didnt break my neck at work today. after work i went and hung out with monica and marge and zach. stupid tasha wont be able to make our plans tomorrow. what a sheena. but we all watched the lord of the rings two towers. its awesome. and nam and i are pulling together a bunch of friends to watch it at his house so it will rock. tomorrow i guess we will just chill. that will be nice. my photos are done so that will also be nice. plus i got 200 blank cds for 24 and that is very nice. blah i am tired. going to bed.

we had a bar be que today. the whole Nelson family came over for dinner. we had steak. i like steak. our parents got a long pretty well. weirdos. i found out that my pay check wasnt right. it figures at only like 8.80 an hour instead of 10.60. i will be pissed if the bosses son is getting that much more for the same shit as me. i hate pay check mistake. but it was nice to come home to a barbeque and what not. its her last week and we havent been able to see much of eachother. but we all went down after dinner and watched lord of the rings. even kara and my sisters watched. tomorrow the second one comes out. i am tired.

Sunday, August 24, 2003 at 10:36 p.m.

today was very funkin cool. we went to the space needle. i think one thing that made this trip so good was that monica had never been to any of it before. it is always fun to experience things with somebody who hasnt ever had it before. after we spent about an hour or so way up in the top of the space needle, we went down to the gift shop. i found a cool little ichiro bobble head thing. it kicks ass. i couldnt find a shirt though i did find taryn and jenny again. it is a little weird to me but i guess its cool. i miss my friendship with taryn more than i think she does. which makes sense i guess. but so after we got a picture with them we went outside and there was this crazy hippy guy. he had these wood puppets that he had made. he had a janis joplin and jimi hendrix and a few others. they were so cool. their mouths moved with the strings so he made them sing along with their tapes that he played into the street. on the hendrix one even his fingers and what not moved along the frets. it was so cool. then we went on the ferris wheel while we waited for a good family friend. once he got there we went to Pike Place market. i love that place. the last time i was in seattle i bought my korean flag ring. i couldnt find another but it was still awesome. we went to a bad ass little restraunt. good clam chowder. we shopped so more. i bought a belt buckle just for the hell of it and took a lot of pictures. monica bought a cool little picture and my sister bought a panda. it was cool. then we took off. the trip home wasnt too bad. when i got here i found out that the info on who my room mate is came in. he seems pretty cool. i talked to him the whole time i was playing with the digital picture machine at fred meyers. it sounds like we will be bringing whatever the other cant. i bought the audioslave and new janes addiction cds. they are so good. i was missing that hard guitar from morrello and navarro. sweet. now its late so i am going to sleep. tomorrow monicas family is coming over for dinner and we (the little tikes) are watching the extended version of lord of the rings before the new one comes out tuesday. as nerdy as i feel, i am real funking excited for the new one.

Saturday, August 23, 2003 at 10:50 p.m.

today we went to ikea. that store really does rock. my family had gone to one when they went to california. they told me about how cool it was. i didnt know it was as neat as it turned out to be. i got most of the rest of my college crap. i even found an awesome comforter thing. the funniest thing happened though. while eating at ikea i saw taryn and jenny kay. i mean i am always glad to see them but its a little weird when you both happen to go to the same little store at the same time in the same city that far from home. but it was cool. then the rest of today we spent a lot of time at the college lauren is looking at. it was pretty cool. real artsy. they are doing a lot of construction on it so it was kinda ugly. but we got some really great photos. the art stuff they have there is cool. then we went to red robin for dinner and that was funny cause there was this little asain kid who was really cute. she would get all excited about one thing or another and scream hysterically. it was cute. then we went to our hotel which had an awesome pool. it was also nice cause me and monica went and walked around the hotel and had some time away from my family. tomorrow we are going to Pike Place market and heading home.

Friday, August 22, 2003 at 11:04 p.m.

today we left for seattle. it was pretty exciting actually. work wasnt too bad either. in fact it was good cause my friend tim hanson is now working with me. his dad work for the ESD also so i guess he got signed on also. we had a good time working and got a lot done. the damn truck ran out of gas. that sucked but luckliy i forced it to start under the rear tank. so it was ok. then at 4 when we got back to the ESD in salem we found out we were laid off. that sucked. but by 5 when i was in the shower they called and said the right people had heard the right complaints and that they needed me back on monday at 7. i had to call tim and let him know. i am glad he has a job. he really needed it. so did i but what could i do. tonight we ate at BJ's pizza and pub. damn that place is good. it looks really cool also. they had really good food. so it was awesome. then we went and checked into our hotel. tomorrow we are going to go check out laurens college that she is looking at and who knows what else. but i am tired so i am going to bed.

thursday, August 21, 2003 at 11:10 p.m.

so our trip is tomorrow. i am all packed up and ready. tonight i didnt do a whole lot. i didnt get out of the office until like 5. i was hanging out with gabriele. she is really cool. i also found out tim hanson is working with us tomorrow. that is awesome. i havent seen that guy in a long time. but it will be nice to work with somebody closer to my age. after i did finally leave monica and i hung out but called it an early night since she had to return movies and i needed to pack. but we had some good quality time. its crazy to think that she leaves a week from tomorrow. dont want to think about it too much. as it is late and i am tired. goodnight

today i talked to zig and it was good. i tried to wake her up but she was already up. she is leaving for another retreat but told her i should come in and see her at south on my lunch break. amazingly we were actually staying in salem so i did. but she didnt get there on time. i called monica before i found out zig wasnt there and she came down. we ran into ben gerling who was waiting for registration. so we chilled with him and waited for warren. i like warren. he is a good korean. right when i was about to leave he showed up so i talked with him for like a minute or two. then i went back to work. what is cool is that today we hung out with marge and zach. it has been a while since we hung out with them. i think the last time was when we went to the drive in. but that was fun too. we went out to dinner at los arcos. it was cool. that food is really good. and i talked with zach about peer mentoring. he would be a great mentor. i am such a fucking mentor nerd. it almost bothers me. but its cool. then we rented blazing saddles. one of the mst racist movies but good ones too. it was cool but marge didnt like it so much. who cares. its late.

i got done with work at 4. then i had a doc apt at 5 so i chilled at monicas for an hour and i showered. after i got back to monica's we ate pizza. then we rented chicago and bought ice cream. then we went and saw becky's new apartment in albany. she finally moved in sunday but we didnt get to see her until today. her place is not to big but it is much better than a shared dorm room. the price isnt bad at all. so that is cool. it was fun hanging out with them. i really like reid. he's just a cool guy. we left kinda early. got monica home at like 10 or so. then i did it. i pulled my shit together and went to nams. we talked for like 2 hours. we really needed to. but it was cool. we got shit straightened out. when i left i felt much better. i still do.

Monday, August 18, 2003 at 11:46 p.m.

after work i went home. monica stayed home for dinner but came over after with ice cream and a movie. for dinner we had spaghetti and she hung out with us. i know i spelled that wrong but i dont care. i found out monica gets to go on out trip with us. that is awesome. it should be fun. kind of our last big thing before she leaves. after dinner we ate ice cream and watched the movie . i dunno how much i like that movie. its a little too weird for me. it was just a real trippy movie and i guess i just didnt get the plot. so that sucked. but it was good to spend time with monica. before too late she went home and i now i am going to bed.

today was awesome. 7 months what a trip huh? we went to portland and shopped. we hadnt done much school clothes shopping so i took monica up to portland and we checked it all out. sad as it sounds we couldnt as many sales as we would have liked. so on our way home we stopped in at woodburn and found all kinds of cool sales. i was glad to take her out and buy her some clothes. it was a good trip. then we went home and steak and to watch pitch black. we also found out that there is going to be a big trip to seattle for lauren to look at another college. hopefully monica can come but who knows for sure how her parents will respond to that kind of a request. i guess we will see. it has been an awesome 7 months. goodnight.
