Friday, September 27, 2002 09:00 p.m. Yes, it's true. Recently I saw 2 volumes of the shoujo anime series called Brother, Dear Brother or Oniisama E and guess what? I totally love it! It's weird cos I think it's a yuri series but they don't have any explicit scenes or anything like that and there's no bishounens to really check out but it's really good. I really like some of the characters even if they are girls. Two of them look like bishounens. Maybe they are female bishounens. I mean, if you saw them you would think they were guys since they're so tall, slender and flat chested. If they didn't speak I think they could pass for guys. I'm serious. Weird show but very good. I love it so much that I am actually ordering the rest of the series online. This is a very different approach to my usual taste in anime.
Lazy Sunday, September 22, 2002 06:24 p.m. Yeah, I'm still obsessed with ryuki so I haven't been doing much. Here's some quizzies to keep you distracted. Anyways, I won the 6 Kamen Rider Ryuki Gashapon figures. Had fun putting them together too and they look good. Now I'm gonna see what else I can get off ebay. Take the Saiyuki Quiz at anime-doll.com Kamen Rider Ryuki Sunday, September 1, 2002 06:55 p.m. Lately I've just been totally hooked on the new Kamen Rider series for 2002 called Kamen Rider ryuki. And guess what? It is way way cool. It's very different to the other Kamen Rider series which only has one guy as Kamen Rider. The new series has 13 Kamen Riders and some are good and some are bad. They also have girls as well as guys. The special effects are way cool and the guys are way sexy. Now, speaking of guys, the main character Shinji Kidou is alright looking and he's such an idiot but that's what makes him so funny. I like watching him. Plus, he's creature is a dragon and he's Kamen rider Ryuki. Then we have the bat guy, Ren Akiyama who is Kamen Rider Knight. I don't like him but I like his armour and his powers. Looks really cool. Next is the lawyer Shuichi Kitaoka who is Kamen Rider Zolda which is a robot. Oh and he gets extra points cos he's way good looking, which I guess is normal since he is a 188cm tall model. I love him. But I love Miyuki Tezuka best cos he's character is so sweet. Most of the time he's got this angsty kind of look. Reminds me of Subaru Sumeragi from X. Anyways, Miyuki is a fortune teller who never smiles. It's true. He never smiled once. He's so good looking. I love everything about him. What annoys me is that i don't quite know what his creature is supposed to be. Maybe a bird or a jellyfish that flies. I don't know. But he's Kamen Rider Raia. There's also Kamen Rider Gai who's a rhino, Kamen Rider Ouja who's a cobra and Kamen Rider Scissors (no points for guessing what he's weapon is). That's all that was introduced in the first half of the series. But I know there's also Kamen Rider Femme who's a girl and her creature is a butterfly. Don't wanna see her. Kamen Rider Ryuga is a black dragon I think. Kamen Rider Odin is the final Kamen Rider and I think his creature might be an Albatroz. Anyways, if you haven't seen it, you should cos I never thought I'd be watcing any Kamen rider series at all but now I'm hooked on Ryuki. The series is so funny as well. Now I have to wait for the second part to be available on DVD. And I just have to say that the subtitiles are crap but you can sort of guess what they're trying to say. Okay, it's time for me to go and watch it again for the hundredth time this weekend. Ahh, my Tezuka. He's so sweet and sexy. And it was so sad to see him die. I almost cried. |
