O LEVEL RESULTS!! the first 3 words says it all. today is the day all the 2004 Olvl students have been waiting for. i think on the whole everybody i know seems to have done veh well. almost everybody i asked got 6,7 or 8. n there appeared a record high 21 ppl in singapore who got 11 A1s, 8 from ri, 12 from rgs n 1 from dunman high.
as for myself, im pleased to say i got 6pts, with 7 A1s n 3 A2s(CL, HCL, n geog). i know this sounds totally bastard n arrogant, n might cause an uproar, but im still slightly disappointed with my results, namely CL n HCL. i could n should have gotten A1 for CL last year. n after the Os e subj i most wanted, n was really hoping to get A1 for was HCL. but that elusive A1 still escaped from me. ergh. n what makes it worse was that i think if i had not thrown away that 3 marks due to complete carelessness i might have clinched that 1. yuck. but nvm im still glad i got 6 pts =D
eunice got 8!! haha im so proud of u!! well everyone i know in rjc managed to stay. im so happy!! =D

this morning i was supposed to meet eunice to go fly kite, but the stupid kite shop was closed, heh so we did sth veh unexpected. we went to city hall, bought some sushi n one whole roasted black pepper chicken, walked to underneath benjamin sheares at marina park braving e rain n pigged out there, finishing the whole chicken between the two of us. we den walked to kallang n went off to meet our respective friends.
i went to parkway area to meet bananas for pool! pool is soo fun haha i loved it! after that we even played soccer! heh even wanying n daffy n they managed to score sia.. hahaha... i enjoyed myself tremendously today!!

dramafeste was fun! hehheh i just reached home after attending dramafeste. i wasnt actually intending to go cos i couldnt get tickets, but at the last minute decided to gatecrash with eunice, joy n glenn, all of whom had tickets. luckily the usher was careless enough, or perhaps she was just acting blur n closing one eye, but i somehow managed to sneak in.
i missed cps, but according to the others it wasnt a great loss. arts was extremely funny, engine was very good, med1 was pretty professional but abit boring, n med2 was also quite boring though a good attempt was made to have a twist to the story. in terms of entertainment value, arts would definitely come in first, but they were a tad too slapstick n they didnt have a proper theme or plot. engine fac was in my opinion the best overall play, n im most impressed by its directing n use of the masks.
enjoyed myself tonight! =D though poor eunice n joy are both sick n eunice had a few coughing fits during the plays..

my class rocks!! =D well my class had a class outing today to sentosa, it wasnt really a class outing cos only 11 ppl went, including pat's bf who came along. but we still had so much fun!! =D swimming in e sea, sitting on that raft thingie playing truth or dare, chatting n simply chilling out. it was quite a good fun time spent with my friends, despite the absymal attendance =D
on a not-so-happy note, poor piggy is quite seriously ill with a high fever. feel so guilty out having fun when piggy's suffering at home. Lord Jesus i pray that you may grant her healing and comfort. anyone who reads this pray for her too! GET WELL SOON PIGGY!!!

i went for band concert yest!! it was held at e school hall. i had to skip abit of interact camp to go for it but i felt it was worth it cos i really enjoyed the concert! =D the music was really very nice. n of cos piggy was playing her flute =D
waited for joy n den went with her to join e interact camp. it was lucky we went late cos the j2s were doing sth really evil. they screened the movie shutter n made each person go solo or in pairs for this night walk round the school, during which the seniors would try to scare u. to give them some credit, it was quite well planned n pretty scary. luckily i went late so didnt really get to watch much of the movie. hehheh. anw i went solo, but the 2 girls in front of me were so slow tt i caught up with them halfway thru e thing, n we ended up finishing the remainder in threes. pretty fun.
today was quite sian la. some station games, n alot of slacking. heh. after we were dismissed at 545, i went for dinner w huanna teo and sock, n chatted till 8 before going home. hehe.
poor milk got fever.. patpat..

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!! yoohoo todays a veh special day indeed. besides being v'day, its also one month anniversary! hehheh.
lessons were as usual though. but today we had a new addition to e class cos pat's bf from acjc crashed rj for the whole of today. how sweet right haha. n another interesting fact abt my class - valene's bday is today! well thats actually where she got her name from. cos she was born on valentine's day. cool. but poor kathy, her bf's leaving for aussie today for 10 months, n so she was veh depressed e whole day, n even cried a few times. hais. how eventful my class is on this valentine's day.
on another note, everybody was super high today n the whole school atmosphere was pretty lively. ive never actually had a valentines day like this, me being from an all-boys school all my life n guys dont really celebrate valentines.. so its a new but great exp for me!! quite enjoyed today with the atmosphere of love in the air =D haha~

wah. todays "Ash Friday". supposed to be a day of fasting n abstinence. so i committed myself to fast for lunch! anw was supposed to meet eunice at 1230 den bring her for mass. but piggy was half an hr late, so we ended up not going for mass.. lol
we planned to go ice skating, den we went kallang n found out leisure park was closed down!! =S so we travelled all e way to jurong east, n skated from 3 to 530. n i might as well add that today was e first time in my life i ice-skated!!! thats pretty sad i know.. but ohwell =D i still skated better den piggy, n it was her 3rd!! =P
after that we went to marina park to have dinner n play sparklers. had fish soup cos cannot eat meat today, n the fish was plain daylight robbery man. 430 for some pathetic bowl of soup n rice. so pissed. haha but had quite abit of fun playing w sparklers. 3rd time in my life. hehe.
tml ish ROE!! not that it directly concerns me. ill be going church of holy spirit. used to go there every week but after i moved out of shunfu nv go back liao. n ive never entered the church building ever since they renovated it. quite keen to go n see how its like now actually. i just know its changed a lottttt.

hoho its cny eve today. n that means no lessons!! hurrAy~ went to school in the morning for celebrations, some were rather lame but some were pretty good. i liked the indian dance n the wushu n that plugged band. the rest were quite boring.. but at least still better den lessons =D
after that i went with some odac bananas to watch constantine. the show was only ok la, not very fantastic, n i didnt manage to understand some of it. came home after the show n have been stoning till now. siannnnn..
going to my uncles house later for reunion dinner. hopefully the food'll be good~ =D

today seems such an extraordinarily long day to be. a big part of it's due to me having slept from 1030am to 3pm, making everything tt happened before tt seem like ages ago, n also because wad i did before that was so incredible i can hardly believe it happened just hours ago.
the fun began when odac met at 6 in preparation for our traditional annual overnight hike. we bore no torches n the only light we had came from a couple of lightsticks. my grp left school at abt 7, setting off towards macritchie. we took this forest trail through, ending up at SICC, n was just abt to go through another nature reserve when this stupid ranger appeared n wouldnt let us into the forest at night saying we would "disturb the animals". lol. as a result we had to walk to the road, took a super long walk back to the area at upper thomson we had passed by much earlier, wasting nearly 3 hrs in the process.
so anyway, we walked up lornie road, turned into sime road n some deserted eerie small roads that had graves along the side, crossed an expressway using an underpath that looked very much like the one i saw in incredible tales, n walked till we reached the part of dunearn road near botanic gardens. we then headed up along e super long dunearn road all the way, past adam road, past njc n nygh, all the way to the railway track near kap. we took another ulu road, into the mountain biking track of the bt timah nature reserve. we walked all the way through that, appearing somewhere along mandai road.
since it was already 430 due to the time we lost cos of the stupid ranger, we decided to skip the last checkpoint n head back to school. we hiked down mandai road, realising how impossibly long it was, n turned into upper thomson road, which was comparable in length with mandai. the whole journey back we only used abt 2 roads, but it took us just slightly less than 3 hrs, n we reached back in school at around 720. at least now if someone asks me wad the longest road in singapore is i know the answer.
ok to cut the long story short, i went with odac on an overnight hike that lasted from abt 7pm last night to abt 7+am this morning. i measured the route on e street directory n it was approximately 40km, maybe slightly more. not veh accurate due to the forest trails not being shown on the directory, but 40km is a very good estimate. this hike has been very trying for many, n exhausting for all, n honestly im pretty surprised tt everybody made it safely n soundly. it has been a first time exp for me to go on such a long hike, n it will definitely be one of the many highlights we're going to have tgt as odac. hehe im soo glad i made the right choice n joined odac!! =D

im back!! just returned from the odac camp that was from fri evening till today. it was a WONDERFUL CAMP!! i enjoyed myself so much. thank you so much all that were in my group. BANANAS~!! (that was our grp name btw. bananas.)
on fri eve we met in rj at 5, n left the school at 6. we had to find our own way using public transport to changi village, n we took at astonishing 2 hrs plus, reaching there ard 830pm. by the time we reached ubin, it was already 9+. before sleeping, however, we still had to do a spot of orienteering, making our way to 3 stations with a map, a map grid-reference, n a compass. not very difficult, but it was made slightly more tricky in tt we werent allowed to use our torches and ubin is indeed pretty dark at night. by the time we got to our campsite, it was near midnight n we had to pitch our tents in the darkness, and then bedtime!
in the morning n early afternoon of the 2nd day we had a few "tutorials", learning stuff like building a hammock, pitching A-hut, tying a few of the more useful knots, RAMs, n some basic bandaging techniques. we then cooked our dinner n ate, before going to the beach for campfire. the item my group performed was horrendous beyond words, but the other two grps put up pretty entertaining ones. we learnt the odac song n sang several others, n played that damn funny tarzan game where hulin got seriously jacked. rofl.
later that same night, we all had a very good experience, n a first-time one for many. we took a night hike to this place, n one-by-one did a solo walk. To add to the thrill we werent allowed to use our torches, n there were only a couple of lightsticks spaced far apart to mark the path. it was of course pretty scary, with the place being so dark n the trees on both sides casting nice shadows that tempt your imagination. the walk was also pretty long, about 5 mins at briskwalking pace, then we would wait at a shelter to form grps of 5 before walking the rest of the distance back tgt. the whole thing was an excellent experience, n we all got to challenge ourselves n overcome our fears of the dark n such. it was so wonderful =)
im so so tired now haha. dunno how im going to finish my homework. i need to sleeeep...

woah i just reached home not too long ago, n im so tired n my legs are aching. but im in a vehveh good mood =D hahaha..
in e morning i went to sentosa with odac, there were like about 100 J1s who went, n i cant believe how big odac is gonna be this year.hope it wont be too big cos that will make planning difficult. well anyway today we just played some games, got to know each other better, learnt abit of like navigation, n basically try to have fun. the bestest game was the captain's ball thingie.. hahaha.. well its simply captain's ball, just that its played first with a tomato, then with half a papaya, den with a whole frozen chicken. n espcially with the first 2, well, after being thrown around abit they get quite squished n disgusting. n its also pretty gross throwing a chicken around. but its still vehveh fun!! hahahaha..
went to meet eunice after that, n due to e sentosa thing i was very late. lols hehe sorry! =S we went to east coast to cycle, den sit by the beach n watch the sun go down n the stars appear, n the sky turn from blue to lilac to violet to black. soo nice orhkay~!! hahaha.. then we went parkway parade there to eat before going home.. enjoyed myself soooo much!! thankew!! =D

after 2 weeks of not appearing on msn, ive finally managed to get it in working order!! wow.
its hari raya haji today, n its a nice public holiday with excellent weather, yet i spent e whole day indoors slacking n reading. hais. its no wonder im feeling so stoned n sianded nows.
anyways tml ill be going to sentosa for some dunnowhatsit odac thingie, n after that going cycling w eunice at east coast. hopefully tml will be a better day than today. hehe =)

long time no see! hehe cos i just managed to get my internet working again. im still unable to get on msn though, its still not functioning yet. god knows when ill get a decent computer.
anyways abt the 2nd week, lessons started, but there were more free periods than lessons, n everybody was basically very free. enjoyed myself just hanging ard in school w my friends..
havent been doing much homework. at home i just cant be bothered so i usually end up reading some more interesting book or other. n i cant even go online to chat with my friends, n thats making me veh frustrated. ergh. anyway wth. feeling pretty sleepy now so i guess im gonna pigg soon.

hohoho im at jasong's house using his internet cos there's sth wrong with my comp. orientation in rjc ended yesterday with Onight, n im really sad tt orientation's over. over the past 5 days ive had sosososo much fun getting to know more new friends n participating in e activities tt the OGLs planned for us. I LOVE A'PSTRAPHI! n everybody in it~ =D
lectures are starting next week, but next week's timetable is still pretty slack n with many free slots whereby i can still have some bonding time w my friends.

day2 in rjc: today was sososo much more fun and enjoyable than yesterday. thank you Lord. guess everybody's more comfy with each other, n thus the atmosphere's not so awkward. played more games today, and today's games involved more physical activity and running ard. we also learnt our batch dance, which is very complicated and difficult to grasp, but looks pretty nice. hahaha =D
after we were dismissed we spent a loooong time deciding where to go to eat dinner, n had many very good laughs talking abt waddeva rubbish n qiu lian ban mian. oddly enough our og has bonded because of food. most of us then went to toapayoh central for dinner tgt before going home.
i hope tml will be even more fun! =D

hols are over! its back to school today. im in the orientation grp a'pstraphi(pronounced er-pos-tro-fee) with 12 other girls and 10 other guys, and led by 2 extremely wonderful leaders, bernice n moses. guess its just the first day tts why everybody including me was so quiet n un-enthu. cant rmb more den half the names but itll get better la.
in overall, i didnt enjoy myself like i thought i would. still somewhat excited though abt the totally new life im about to face, but i sure hope tml will be more fun, n everybody will be more open n outspoken. i pray that God will fill me with love, n help me to make more friends in rjc. hais.

hoho its raining now. like wads new? its been raining since 9 in the morning, n tt makes it 9 hours and counting. but afterall im not realli complaining la cos i dun realli tt mind the rain. but its still a fact that since the year 2005 started its been raining more than half the time. haha
i went for rciy in the morning, den after mass had lunch at the kopitiam behind the church, n after tt was just slacking in church with vera meli n krystal chatting cos we couldnt go home cos of the rain. sorta enjoyed myself i guess. when e rain got smaller we went home. n its still raining. lol.
its back to school tml. i suppose the first week will be pretty much fun but after that lessons are gonna start. bleh. but for now im still quite excited =D

i enjoyed this 2nd last day of hols. in the afternoon was in orchard w marian shopping for ultra-belated christmas prezzies for her friends. at abt 3 we went to sentosa, n just slacked the day away. ive not been to sentosa for goodness knows how many years, n ive heard its changed a lot but i dun even know tt cos i cant rmb wad it looked like the last time i was there.
we walked the nature trail, cycled, walked ard, n at night went to see the musical fountain. i thought it was really good. i enjoyed it pretty much. haha nvm.
tml is the last day of the hols. den its back to school again. hais. i still want more hols. just one more week will be ideal. can i have one more week pls? lol.

HAPPY 2005 TO ALL!! =D seems so amazing. another year gone. 2004 for me has been pretty good i guess. ive gone thru n experienced alot this year. this being my sec4 year, of cos it has been peppered with studying n more studying, but more importantly, im also the senior of e school n cca. leading my ncc partAs, commanding respect from them, planning a camp for them n watching them grow. n also being the psl of 1M, ive seen the sec1s grow from small lil new sec1 boys into the not-so-small, more matured about-to-be-sec2s. on another note, 2004 has also been e year whereby i knew more abt wad being in a rltnsp was abt, the ups n downs, n i guess sadly the final break too.
however, i think the best thing ive done in 2004 was to become more active in church, namely, joining rciy. the past 8-9 months ive been in rciy have really changed my life (for the better of course). first n foremost would be i got to re-know God again, secondly, that the friendships ive forged with my churchfriends are friendships that i treasure n cherish. also the many rciy sessions, the rciy camps in june n november, the carolling practices n the carolling etc... just... WOW. thank you Jesus.
so anyways, i just came back from my mini new year's celebration. i spent the night of new year's eve with marian. we went to the esplanade area, walked a little bit up e coast toward kallang area where it wasnt so crowded, n welcomed 2005 in our own little way. though the fireworks were cancelled in honour of the tsunami victims, we had our own small-scale one cos i brought sparklers. haha. we just played ard abit w the sparklers, made our new year wishes n resolutions, den walked back to cityhall mrt n miraculously managed to catch the veryveryvery last train home.
later most prolly going sentosa with her again, to enjoy the 2nd last day of hols. but as of now, i guess its time to pigg. n once again, HAPPY NEW YEAR~!! =D

today in the morning i went to school cos todays e day tt rjc officially moves to its new campus in bishan. so i also went into rjc n took a tour ard the school that i will be studying in starting next week.
its big. its humongous. the corridors are veh wide n spacious n everything. the classrooms do not have aircons though, but im quite all right w tt. there are a couple of lifts, n i hope students are allowed to use them, cos there are classrooms all e way up to the 7th floor, n the canteen's at the 1st. the school's also quite bare n plain, but i believe tt after some landscaping is done its gonna be beautiful. anyhow, i like the place =D
how time flies. in abt 54 hours time, its gonna be the year 2005 liaos, n ill be officially in jc. wow. but i wanna stay young!!
n oh yah. sth to share. in the morning it was threatening to rain. the sky was dark n overcast n there were even a few rounds of slight drizzles. so i prayed tt the weather would be good, that it would not rain, yet not too sunny either cos im a sissy afraid of the heat (lols.). n hey presto! God granted perfect weather throughout the day. it didnt rain, n the sun didnt show its face much either, so it was nice n cool. haha thank you God =D

haha christmas is almost over. nothing much happened today la. i didnt go out with anyone, didnt do anything interesting. in fact i spent alot of the day sleeping. hahaha cant be blamed la considering wad happened last night till this morning.
sth unpleasant did happen though. some stupid goondu stole my bike. i usually keep my bike outside my house, locked to the staircase metal bar thingies. at ard noon some idiot managed to do a david copperfield n made my bike disappear together with the chain. that person must have been desperate for a christmas prezzie man. ah well consider it a lesson learnt. any further bikes will be kept safely in my house. haha. and another lesson to learn. never trust those cheapo chains found in one ninety-nine stores. haha cos my chain was abt tt price.

*yaWn* can u believe it? i just woke up *woooooooaaahh* this must be like the latest ive woken up in abt 5 yrs. haha cos last night i did sth so crazy i find it hard to believe man.
i went for midnight mass last night (in case some ppl dunno, midnight mass started at midnight). it ended ard 1+ in the morning, after which there was just alot of dallying ard, exchanging gifts, exchanging peace n wishes of MERRY CHRISTMAS~!! =D at abt 2 alot of us rciy ppl, together with the sponfrienders n music ministry, went to amk central to stone. just chatted n slacked n ate abit n wasted time in general. n sth was wrong w elaine but nvm. had a good talk with aaron too.
after a long while ppl started filtering off to go home, but as i didnt wan to pay for a cab i stayed on (midnight surcharge + public holiday surcharge.. oh man..) in the end the remaining ppl, abt 20+ of us, with me e only catechumen, were crazy (or u could call it holy) enuff tt we actually went to the park beside amk mrt to sing praise n worship songs. n that was abt slightly past 5 in the morning. we just sang till the train n bus services started before we all went home. though it was a first time ive done sth so crazy, it was definitely a unique experience n it was great just praising God in the middle of the park, it being 5am n dark n all. i guess many ppl realli needed that as a reminder of wad Christmas is realli all about. it is abt God sending his only son down to earth in human form to save the world from darkness, n by dying on the cross to free us from sin. n christmas is the day baby jesus was born in a manger 2037 years ago (if im not wrong). n so, it is a time for celebrating, n for joy. well i took the train home, n reached home abt 610. sleeptime!

weds night n last night i went carolling tgt with the rest of rciy. it was sooo fun manx =D only went to 4 houses in total, wish it could have been more, but i still had alot alot of fun. esp aaron's house, which was the last house we went to, cos we stayed behind after carolling to play. haha mebbe it was the wine we drank, or mebbe its just tt we were so excited n high, but we (meaning alycia juliet leslie jeremy meixia n i) acted pretty much like a bunch of crazy baboons in front of a banana forest. we attempted a remix of some of the carols n they turned out so hilarious (rudolph..). n jeremy even attempted playing the keyboard like a guitar(now this sure was crazy enuff). lol. ohwell anw i just had sooo much fun =D reached home ard 1230 last night. fun.
later most prolly going with mx to buy alycia's christmas prezzie. den in the evening to mx's house for some christmas dinner/party thingie. n after that ill be going to ctk for midnight mass~!! =D wahahaha hopefully after tt can go out n chill.

lol. enjoyed myself today. in the afternoon i went to a gathering at bugis junction with 2 of my pri school teachers, n a bunch of ex-cathigh dudes. mdm lee and ms cara lim were there. before last sun when i went mrs goh's house i hadnt met mdm lee for a couple of years, but shes still as pretty as ever, n looks pretty much the same. lol. ms lim also looks quite the same lol, especially her voice n the way she speaks, it still sounds exactly like i remember her in pri school..
we went to swensens to eat ice cream, n the 2 teachers very kindly treated the lot of us =D ahahaha.. anyways, after that i went to walk ard bugis with wesley n alaric. didnt buy anything though =S
tml ill be going to school to play soccer in the morn, then therell be sort of a farewell lunch thing for mr krishnan. hes easily one of the best teachers i noe n will ever noe, n being my hist teacher n ncc teacher-in-charge, he has helped me sooo much in both areas. great man. he'll be leaving ri n starting next year will be teaching at catholic high. everyone will really miss him manx..

was there with meixia, alycia, juliet, leslie n hazel. we stayed from 5+ all the way to 930 manx. woah. i nv expected we'd be able to spend tt much time in there, but the time just seemed to slip by without our noticing. but anyway i had fun~! =D
n another thing, i found a job!! hehe nothing much la actually its just a 3-day thing. working as some cashier at tan tock seng from mxt mon to wed, 9am-6pm, getting paid 6 dollars per hr. not bad la horh. thankew marilyn~!!

im pretty happy today. haha cos i went out! hehe was out with huanna benny teo cheese pong etc. n we went to ps to watch without a paddle. hehe its quite funny, but also pretty dumb. only an average movie, nothing fantastic, but i did have a few laughs hahaha.
went shopping for a bit after that. bought a shirt n a new wallet!! hehe ive been looking for a wallet for ages, finally managed to get one today.

haha enjoyed myself today. in the morning went for rciy as usual, n it was easily e most interesting session ive ever had for a while. it was abt exorcisms n possessions n stuff like tt. n the dangers abt the games where u invite spirits to play with u, like the ouija board. scary. calvin shared a story whereby he got addicted to playing this kinda games n ended up getting possessed. he had to be sent to a church in yishun to be delivered before the spirit left him. quite freaky, but it realli broadens my knowledge abt this kind of things. i loved today's session.
after mass we went to j8 to eat, n sam for some reason got upset n left before eating.. hais. after lunch vera melissa joyce elaine n i went to aaron's house to play cards n mahjong, n bernard n calvin joined us afterward. hahahaha it was pretty fun n i learnt how to play mahjong more properly, like how to count score n e other details. woohoo. but as we left aaron's house we got lost. lol. he lives in this super big private estate n his house is so super far in. dot. nvm. i still enjoyed myself!! =D
and anw bernards gonna be conscripted on weds. wont be seeing him for the nxt 3 weeks.wish him all the best!
hohohohoho but i dunno wad im gonna do tml n the rest of e week. anyone equally bored can just call me n mebbe we can go out n chill or sth ok? =D

hmm this is another entry abt the church camp. just read juliet's blog, n i realli like the analogy father andrew used abt the problem of not knowing whether jesus is there or not, the general idea being "imagine ure flying a kite, it flies all e way up high. suddenly a dark cloud comes, n covers e kite. u cant see it anymore. but r u sure tt it's dere? yes, bcoz u can still feel it tugging e string in ur hand". very meaningful isnt it?
sadly to say, i havent benefitted from this camp as much as i would have liked to, n as much as some other ppl did. there were indeed times when i felt touched by God, but this just hasnt boosted my faith like the june camp did. i realli realli wish to be blessed with stronger faith. anyone reading this rmb to pray for me ok?
Lord Jesus, i sincerely wish to get closer to u. i pray that i may be blessed with the Holy Spirit, n blessed with great faith, that i may be able to love n trust u wholeheartedly n without reservation or doubt. help me to overcome e obstacles preventing me from receiving u totally. i also pray for all my friends in rciy, may we all never turn away from our journey with u, n grow tgt in faith each day as brothers n sisters in Christ. Amen

just came back from e church camp that lasted from last sat to today, at st. teresa's church. i did enjoy it alot, n haf no regrets going, but i feel that it was just not as good as the one in june. still good la though.
Day 1: in e afternoon we had some fun playing with a whole lot of gooey n disgusting stuff, smearing it on each other, getting dirty n having fun at the same time. it was all veh messy n dirty, but nevertheless pretty fun. lol. at night we did this faith walk, whereby we had to walk down this long slope blindfolded n unguided, n then blindfolds will be removed, n we'll have to walk through a few dark n scary places. its meant to see how well ure able to place ur faith in God, that he will protect u n guide u, n even when walking alone into the darkest of places, not to have any fear. was pretty exciting la, good experience for me.
Day 2: the best part of day 2 was at night. for dinner we had bread n water, as in literally, n there wasnt even butter. the whole meal was a prayer, a fast, a sacrifice in preparation for the session afterward. though the food was pathetically absymal, like who can imagine swallowing just plain bread n plain water for dinner, it was surprisingly satisfying n i enjoyed the meal, praise e Lord. well anyway the sponsors put a up a pretty convincing act that they were in conflict with one another, n it was to make us reflect abt our own conflicts, the times we've persecuted n victimised someone else. this session was very good, as it helped me reflect n recall many of the times when ive bullied others both physically n emotionally, n helped me realise that those actions were so disgusting n despicable. i went for confession after that to cleanse myself of my sins, n with God's help, i hope to sin much less, n instead be full of kindness n love.
Day 3: in the morning of the 3rd day, we had a very good mass. it's easily one of the best masses ive attended, even though it was just a very small scale thing without a proper altar n choir n altarboys n stuff, but i just found it so fulfilling. father andrew was the one celebrating mass, n i feel tt he realli knows how to change his style according to the congregation. he let us try a different style from the one we usually use when singing the Our Father, introduced a different way of wishing each other peace, n asked each catholic to bless the cathechumens one by one after receiving communion. blessing someone else n marking the cross on someone else's forehead was a first time for me, n its extremely special as it let me realise that i could actually be an instrument of God through whom God's peace n blessings can flow into others. thus it was a very special mass to me, one that i will cherish n remember.
in the afternoon each one of us read out our action plans to lead a christ centered life, n others affirmed us, n basically gave us a spoken testimonial. i was very touched by the affirmations, thankew juliet, aaron n bryan for affirming me. =)
i also received a few very touching warm fuzzies, n im realli thankful to these ppl =) n now e camps over, i feel abit lost, wish the camp would go on a couple more days. but all gd things come to an end, sadly. i must still say i enjoyed the camp, am very happy for the friendships that were strengthened, n am very happy to haf drawn closer to Jesus. God bless RCIY n all my friends, esp the ppl in my group for this camp, sam, vera, rachel, calvin, marcus, facilitators abel n patrick, n sponsor aaron. THANKEW~!!
