Would anyone hurt me if I just SAID how the story ended rather then wrote it?
KIDDING GER!
*humming merrily* Kimi no Mystic Eyes..... As I'm sure you've seen, we've been good lately. Act seven is a rather slow act for me- lots of build up, but that's cause Act 8 looks like it's gonna make my head spin!
We actually haven't had that much FB- we had a couple great letters, though.... and one really strange one that kinda freaked Ger-bear out....
Anyway, 7.1 should be up this week. It has.... Une, Shinobu, Catherine and Wufei!
*still humming* Bury My lovely.... Hide in your Room.....
That's it- I'm never letting Ger talk to me about soundtracks again!

Those of you who have read the end of Act 6 are probably wondering on one hand what the HELL I was thinking and on the other hand probably plotting to kill me.
Without putting any spoilers here, I will say that that last section was one of the hardest things that I've written in a while, but I have my own reasons for it. They'll be explained further in next week's posting, the SnK Author Mission Logs.
The Betrayals Arc page has been posted with cool scene titles, and we're excited about the next Arc. If you readers decide to stay with us, that is, after what I err...did at the end of Act 6.
^^;;;;
At least the design of the blog makes sense now...right?

I'm very happy!!!!
I just finished my first section for SNK for this week's update. It's Sally's, and it's called "Not a Laughing Matter". It will replace "Enter the Snakes" since the original title really didn't fit. The section starts out humorous, but quickly turns political. Ger says he doesn't get one of the discourses (remember, I'm the politics SNK authors, Ger gets the military), but I assure you the entire reasoning is sound.
Actually, I'm really excited now. For the first time since "The Siren Song of Zero" I feel really GOOD about one of my sections. Usually Ger's writing overshadows mine -I will freely admit Ger is the better writer- but for this act, I'm doing my damnest to not let it down. This is one of the pivatal places- we have another two arcs to go, but this is the end of the Relics arcs. The ends of the Arcs are always important. There's transition needed.
Anyway, I think I might start on the final section tomorrow night. It was originally slated to be Chris's, but that might not be best. I'll sleep on it.

Well, there's some problems and some good news- what do you want first? ^_~ The good?
We're back on track. Ger has completed a really neat section. I'm a page into my section (I only have one this week!) so it looks like the update will be on time this week.
Then there is the mixed news... I've gotten a new job, but it's going to require long hours- I'm not sure if that'll interfere or not.
Finally there is the lousy news- my keyboard is breaking down, methinks- the E key is hardly working, and I have to go back and add E's constantly.... we'll try to catch everything, but my spelling is hardly the best...

New layout for the blog! Actually this went up last night (early this morning, however you want to look at it) but I'm only blogging now because QS is nagging me about it. As usual. ^_~
I finished Darkflight's section for the act today...most of this act is very introspective, as you might have noticed. Not much action happening, but there's a lot of character development that needs to occur before the plot can move on, and I think we're accomplishing it in this act. As QS said below, a lot of the minor characters, such as the Cliffside Heights gang, are very static, so we're fleshing them out to become real people. Though I'm very pleased at how dynamic Atsuki and Darkflight have become.
Something I want to bring up is the topic of shounen-ai between Heero and Darkflight...a couple people have been commenting on that. As SnK and GW in general is a non-shounen-ai anime, at least on the surface, I do not mean in any way, shape, or form to remotely even interpret or write Heero and Darkflight's relationship as shounen-ai. However, there exist different interpretations of GW as a series, and some interpretations involve looking at the relationship between the pilots in a different light. I leave that facet of interpretation up to you, the fans. All I want to do is to show that Heero and Darkflight are good friends.
As Part 2 has been posted, the Relics Arc is moving towards its conclusion...the next arc is going to bring all sorts of bedlam and turn everything you thought you knew about SnK upside down. Are you ready? ^_~

Well, we've updated. I'm actually rather pleased- this section came out so much better then I thought it would- it has a nice balance of Ger's rather depressive style and my ironic humor and interest in human relations.
I hope this part helped people understand the Cliffside Heights gang more and make them seem less "static". I'm always worried about that. Aside from Darkflight and Atsuki, most of the originals are still pretty flat, and that's not a good thing. They each have their own personality and motivation, and this should become more evident as the third Arc hits.
Sorry for being late updating, but as I told Tomahawk-kun when he wrote, I wasn't ready on Thursday and Ger was gone on Friday. Ger has a life. Scary scary thought.
Enough teasing. I think the next part is going to be good, and I KNOW the end of the Act (and Arc). The next Arc up has finally been named- it's called thee Betrayals Arc, and we're sure some of you will like it. Hopefully most of our readers will keep with us as we descend into the darker side of human nature....
Next section is something I'm looking foward to- I only have one character to write- it's either Quatre, Sally or Chris (it depends on how we arrange the act- Ger tends to be more concrete then I am).
Anyway, we welcome FB, and one of us always responds to Email. Just out of curiousity, would anyone like me to open up a Forum on a Message Board to discuss SNK style things? Ger and I love discussing our own little playground, especially with readers. We've found that our readers tend to be among the move intelligent GW fans. ^_~
