If you haven't seen Star Wars, GO SEE IT NOW!!!!!! NOW!!!!!!!
NOOOOWWWWW!!!!!!!
And no, this has nothing to do with SnK. ^^;;; But err...yes, the reason we're not posting this week is cause Star Wars came out and I went to camp out at the theatre. I've already seen it three times.

I'm not sick, exactly. I have arthritis. In my fingers- it makes typing extremely painful. I can't BELIEVE it happened at my age!!! Hopefully it's a one-time thing, but knowing my luck....
Anyway, my part for this was "Mirage", which is actually a rather important piece. Quatre learns what happened to Atsuki! And he learns a little about her past- primarily that she was... involved with Heero. BIG BIG nasty stuff there- repercussions in the last arc, majorly.
Ger says this is his fav of mine I've done so far- I thin I'm flattered. It's certainly one of my better pieces, but I liked "Stille Nacht" better.
Oh, BTW.... no update this week. My sections are reliant on Ger's, and he's waiting in line for Attack of the Clones.... sigh. And then I'm going to Florida to watch a graduation. >< If it wasn't Tellu's, I wouldn't bother going, but it is. *sigh*

So...yes...we LIVE. Kind of ><;;;
QS is sick and I've got finals, but we've finally managed to finish the two sidestories we've been sitting on for a month or so. Reset is mine, an extremely...weird piece about which I'm not quite sure how I feel. While reading it over, QS mentioned that it was extremely weird for me to write using her quotes and parts that she'd written, and it was, in a way. Usually it's she who takes lines out of my parts and uses them.
For Reset, I just wanted to show Ilene's death from Trowa's POV. Obviously. But it goes a lot deeper than that and will have repercussions in the last arc. Heero is known as "The Perfect Soldier," but I feel that moniker is given to the wrong person. Trowa is much more of a soldier than Heero is in the sense that he follows orders to a T. I don't believe he understands fully that there is a gray area between the stark black and white of good and evil in war. Trowa sees terrorists attacking a base he perceives is "good," and therefore Ilene in his mind must be "evil." As he put it, she is the stray variable that he must destroy...not even a person.
However, as he flashes back to Catherine's defense of him on the TV from earlier in Act 8, he becomes confused. His concepts of stark black and white are being challenged, and it is this that makes him unable to raise his gun to shoot Ilene. Catherine's belief in why Trowa fights, "because it was the right thing to do," is opposite to why Trowa believes he fights, which is because he believes that it is his duty, or perhaps his destiny. Before Catherine, war was the only family he had ever known. During the TV series, Catherine and Quatre have taught him that sometimes there are other things to fight for, but this is an extremely hard concept for him to grasp. I've tried to show this through the side, by having him think of Heero, of Quatre, and of course, of Catherine in his moment of indecision.
But of course his duty as a soldier wins out and he fires...
