Just what you always wanted, right?
For those of you visiting for the first time, Sainan no Kekka is a fanfiction sequel to the anime Gundam Wing. SnK, as it's commonly abbreviated, discards the "canon" OVA sequel Endless Waltz and instead explores an alternate possibility. What if the identity of the Gundam pilots was found out by the general public two years after the war ended? What consequences would this have on the pilots? On the people who considered them to be friends? On the newly developed World Nation and Preventers military organization?

FIC SPOTLIGHT
As we are a fanfiction partnership, Quicksilver and I feel that it is only fitting that we introduce some of the great Gundam Wing fanfic works that exist. While Sainan no Kekka is our only GW fanfiction, there are certainly plenty other fics out there that deserve recognition. This column will spotlight one fic a month that we feel embodies the qualities of what makes a Gundam Wing fanfic great.
And the spotlight for OCTOBER is...VENDETTA FOR THE FEY by Hope of Dawn.

October is probably the creepiest time of year, so it's time to chose a fic that could give you goosebumps. October's fic of the month is Vendetta for the Fey by Hope of Dawn.
Not all roads lead to happy endings, and Vendetta for the Fey offers one of the possible outcomes of the probable genetic manipulation of the GW pilots. It's a rather short fic, and saying too much would spoil it, but it's definitely worth a look if you like the darker possibilities.
This fic features Dr. J, the pilots, and Treize Khushrenada himself. The writing is smooth, with enough technobabble to satisfy the viewers who need justification without overwhelming a layman. Familiar characters have been turned on their head in frightfully possible ways, and it can make your head spin to contemplate this possible reality. While not a traditional horror tale, it certainly fits in well with this time of year.
