I FINALLY finished the Milliard side "Trio". If I ever catch up with Ger, it should be posted soon. It's one of the longer sides I've ever written, and certainly the weirdest. Too much Utena + a love of mythology = poor abused GW characters!

*smiles wearily* I've learned that I'm an absolutely idiot. For some reason, I thought THIS Friday was the fourth. Sad, isn't it? I was stressing over my deadline for SNK for NOTHING! So for a change, I'm AHEAD of schedule.... it's really freaky.
I'm about halfway done this deadline's stuff: Atsuki, Une and Duo. Duo is closest to being finished, which is good. He's fun to write, but in this section he's sort of... dull. Well, it's a bridge section- he needs this info to get relayed, but it's not fun to write. Man, I wanna stick him or Hilde in the Zero for another whirl- just for the hell of it!
I'm actually in an Utena mood right now! I think I'll go watch some anime to get it out of my system.....

Well, right now I'm balancing my three sections, and I'm starting to sound repetitive. It's easy to tell what I'm writing- it's the bits that'll put everyone to sleep. What's scary is that sometimes I'll go.... I think I used that somewhere.... and sure enough, there's the imagery.
*smiles anyway* I was pleased to see we're finally on GW Addiction! Tyr sent out the sweetest announcement! And Fuu-san, yes, it IS worth it.... sometimes. When Ger isn't nagging me when I goof off.
My problem tends to be I get distracted. I have so many good ideas, and not enough time for them all! Case in point: my Utena fic AFTERIMAGE. I'm working on part two of THAT on TOP of a SM fic, and, of course, SnK.
I hope everyone reads our feature story- ANATEXIS really is pretty cool- very canon-like.

Well, I got something done today! The new Noin side, her fourth Commander's Log, is posted on the page. I know I haven't posted one of those in a while, but I guess they kind of slipped my mind while QS and I were hurrying to complete Act 5 before summer started. There are going to be either 6 or 7 Commander's Logs. I haven't decided yet...depends on where I want to go with them after this next one, which will hopefully follow soon.
I drew a picture of Dorothy today. I hate not having a scanner, because there are several pieces of SnK artwork that I've done that I want to scan. I tried to draw her looking two years older, and I think I succeeded. It's a head shot, and her hair is differnet from how it looked in the series, which I think also contributes to the "older" look.

I cut my finger, and it's affected my typing rate.... anyone know how to get blood off a keyboard?
Things are moving forward more slowly then I had hoped, but since it hurts to type, I give myself kudos (and am starting to believe I had some inner streak of masochism I was previously unaware of) for keeping at it.
I've been listening to "Bury My Lovely" as I worked on Duo's section, so he's morose. Music effects my writing sometimes. Combines with what I've done for Une and Atsuki, I have about.... 4 pages (1 scene) done. 8 more pages by next Friday! I should be able to do THAT. And then after that, I have that thrice-cursed Zechs side to do.

Ok, Got that out of my system. *hugs Ger* I've been teasing Ger unmercifully for the last week or so, so I probably will calm down soon. Contrary to popular belief, Ger and I are *NOT* romantically ionvolved! We'd kill each other- it's one of the reasons I believe Heero and Duo could never actually be paired in RL if they were real- opposites make great friends, but too long in the same place together would be the death of one of them!
Well, I have all of tomorrow off. I'm hoping to use it to finish a scene, or at least get three or four pages done. I'm starting to run into deadline.... personally, I think we ALL should be able to type at the rate Ger does- unnatural creature that Ger is.
Thanks to Liz (if she's reading this) for her great letter. I'll answer ASAP.... or maybe Ger will? I don't feel like answering EMail at the moment- I'm actually rather sleepy, and probably shouldn't be near my computer. WEIRD things start to happen....

Watch out...QS is in a nasty mood because I insulted her spelling. It's not my fault she can't spell!!!
I've been trying to write today, but can't really get anywhere. It's rather sad...QS is ahead of me by a page already. Not that I won't get my parts done on time, cause I always have. She, on the other hand...XD Anyway, I've been working on the next few Commander's Log sides for Noin. These couple are very important, for reasons yet to be named. I'm trying to zoom in more on her relationship with Zechs while they were at the Academy, since their relationship in SnK is basically using that as a stepping stone for both Noin and Zechs' memories of each other.
On another note, I spent the entire evening trying to draw a picture of Atsuki. I'm not the world's greatest artist, and obviously I consider myself a writer, not an artist. But still, we've been getting lots of great fanart of Atsuki lately and I wanted to try my hand at it. It's an interesting picture...I'll of course scan it when I get access to a scanner again. The feet look kind of weird, and I'm bad with upper and lower body proportions, so...be prepared. XD

I HATE HTML! It's SOOOOOOOOO complex! I'm starting to think Ger only agreed to this blog to watch me suffer. I'm notorious for ignoring blogs... but this one is a little different, since I get to use it to make fun of Ger. Anyone who talks to me regularly KNOWS this is one of my favorite pasttimes.
I suppose it shows how obsessive we are about this fanfic.... we're making a BLOG based around it. I prefer to think of it as a tribute to our friendship- after all, we haven't KILLED each other yet, and that's saying something! I can be very Duo-esque, and for a Heero-like personality like Ger, that's trying! *glomps only to be pried off with a crowbar*
*mutters as Ger leaves* Now that Ger has signed off AIM, I can complain safely without fear of reprecussion... well, for the next few hours, at least. I've started on Act 6- ALL of my scenes. It seems WAY unfair that I'm writing so much off it! Ger even chickened out of a Wufei scene! I love his Fei scenes! *sobs*
Right now I'm struggling with all the scenes- at the same time. This act marks the act where I end up with Atsuki- she's shifting focus from Heero to Quatre, and since Quat is MINE (Ger won't touch him with a pole, will ya, Ger Bear?), I have her all the sudden. I've been looking forward to it (she's interesting), but since I didn't write the earlier stuff, I have to reread her scenes, particularly those in four and five, quite a bit. Many people don't realize how seriously we take our cannon. We try to make sure we don't contradict ourselves- it's a sign that we care.
Duo's giving me a touch of trouble, which isn't good. I should be able to sort that out with few problems- I have around ten days before the scene is put up. More then enough time.
Shinobu, to be quite frank, is boring me. I'm going to replace his scene with Atsuki's in the first act, so I have more time to jazz him up.
Yet another OC entering in Une's scene. Carrington has me laughing to myself- can't wait for Ger to see her. He's gonna blow his fuse. It's me with my bizarre sense of humor.
Ger sent me the Heero scene for this act (not till the second part). It's really good, as usually, but depressing. I feel the funny bone in me start to get excited- Ger, be afraid. Be VERY VERY afraid. *wicked laughter*

I never understood why they have to say that when they test microphones anyway. Why can't they say something creative? Like...oh, I dunno..."OMAE O KOROSU!!!" or something? ^^;;
Anyway, I guess I should make the welcome message nice. Quicksilver and I would like to welcome you to this little twisted corner of our author's minds. This was actually QS' idea. Don't blame me. She thought it would be fun to have a blog where we could write down thoughts and ideas and chart our progress through the fic instead of having to wait until the Authors Mission Logs at the end of each arc. Which I guess could be fun. Ok, it's fun. Happy? ><;;;
This will be our little spot to rant about a particular character that's giving us trouble, or complain about the other author, or just discuss some thoughts we have on SnK and/or Gundam Wing. We'll try to keep the spoilers to a minimum, but there will be some, just to warn you. And as we are nice people by nature, we won't go around insulting any aspect of Gundam Wing fanfiction, fandom, or other things (ok we do get pissed off sometimes at certain things, but they're not going on record XD)
