So very tired. Been trying to move my crap from New Dorms to Quad, do you know my textbooks could fill my two suitcases completely? They are HEAVY (as in 100 llbs plus), Diem's got a friend who has a car coming over to help though.

I came back early for job training.

Ah you, you do beat me there. But you don't seem to get as cranky as I do though. I think I must have used the word "hate" 20 times in the last three posts.

I am back! Tired, but back.
Tam-Linh, I will be visiting you some time soon. As in tomorrow.

Sure, don't mind that you (you know who you are...) gave her my name. But I am currently tired and wanting to kill Microsoft, so hopefully she won't look for me any time soon.

I hate you Microsoft. You suck. A lot. You're making it easier and easier for me to like Macs.
Ran critical update and it wanted to install IE 6, sp1. Fine. HDeskers keep saying that any critical updates should be run. Now my desktop icons are all screwed up. Arg. They're locked in a grid, or at least some of them are and I can't move them out of the grid. I had even more problems, but I managed to fix those. I can't uninstall IE6, and even if I could, IE5 is no longer available for download. I just have to say I HATE YOU MICROSOFT. HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE.
If anyone knows how to fix the icon problem, please please please tell me. I'm running win98.

Whee, fast downloads. Niiiice. Got White Line Arrange D sung by Kaida Yuki (yes!) and am getting "Ishida does himself 12 times"...

Microsoft: I HATE YOU.

HATE HATE HATE hot weather. Evilness I tell you, evilness.

Being hot makes me cranky. Having had very little sleep these past two nights also makes me cranky. Crankiness makes me rant and ramble, so I apologize in advance.

Sister 3 (I'm just going to refer to my relatives by numbers or relations or something, since I don't actually call them by names) came out this weekend with nephew 1 and niece. That meant sister 1 and nephew 2 moved into my room for the nights, making me very tired. Had fun playing with them, but looking after 3 kids 5 years old and under is tiring and hectic, especially when one is a 13 month old and another is a slightly autistic (read "does not listen") 3 year old. They're fun and cute, but they do not listen!!!! any of them. Arg.
Nephew 1 spent a lot of time playing on his GameCube which he actually doesn't really know how to play. The majority of the time was spent running into stuff. The 3-D-ness of the games is so nauseating! I got so dizzy from watching him play.

Don't know what my brother did to his CD burner, but it no longer works. :( It ruined two of my CDs. :( and I hadn't burned a lot of the images I had downloaded this summer. :( :( :( Luckily, I had burned the mp3s before whatever he did. whew. That's maybe 500 mbs of stuff and I really wouldn't have had a good time trying to find them all again.
And would you be surprised if I said it was all PoT stuff?
Sadness, I just deleted all the mp3s....

Looking at my schedule for the first week of school... so incredibly very daunting. If you guys want to find me, I'll be in the Science Center.
Now I must find a molecular bio course in the Spring semester or I will have to go into molecular genetics, which conflicts with stats, which means major overhaul of my schedule. boo

Must pack, must pack, must pack. whimper Why do I have so much crap??

I am up and online at 5:30 in the morning. There is something so horribly wrong with that.......

You know I made a comment about evil running in Gloria's family after she said her brother was evil... Well, I guess it runs in my family too. My sister gave my 13 month old nephew a little bobble-head angel/baby toy to play with. He pulls off the head and starts laughing...
I swear I didn't teach him that.

Laundry... must do laundry before I pack. All my clothes seem like wood for some reason.

Congrats on GREs!!!

More fics on ff.net!
PoT:
Reunion by nagibook- Someone else thinks that Fuji would make a good laywer! Mizuki and Yuuta wedding, Akutsu as a florist, and Ryoma growing up to be like Nanjiroh.... Not sure what to make of those. A bit disturbed, but strangely amused. I loved this though:
"Fuji Syusuke was thinking how much misery there was in the world. All these people, people who had vowed to love and cherish each other for eternity, were destroying long-standing relationships out of selfishness, and leaving behind nothing but broken hearts and shattered dreams. And he was lucky enough to have a front-row seat to the show when it all blew up. He *loved* his job."
Private Hells by aishuu - Sadistic Fuji and sadistic-but-I'm-more-subtle-about-it Tezuka! Hehehe. The thing is that that would be so what Fuji would do. Poor Ryoma. I don't like him that much, but can't help but feel sorry for him.
Confessions by Jennifer D. - Her writing is always nice. I like the quiet competition between Tezuka and Fuji, though I think it's going to turn out a threesome rather than a triangle....
Hellsing:
Life Bond by Alucard's Familiar - ...I never thought I would EVER see a Hellsing/Pokemon crossover....

I want to see a match between Tezuka and Nanjiroh.
That random thought inspired by me playing Tennis no Oujisama Genius Boy Academy. I was playing as Tezuka against Nanjiroh, who was surprisingly weak (weaker than Inui, it seemed). I finally learned how to do the special moves, and Tezuka's serve is so... hehehe It's weird. Crackle of electricity and me cackling after it hits. Nanjiroh's special move is strange too. It's like Boomerang Snake except the ball stops moving right before he hits it.
GBA's not as fun as Cool Blue or Passion Red though. Fewer special moves and fewer characters. I just need to unlock the last one in GBA.
Will have to look for Aim at the Victory when I go back.
In case you're wondering, I've been looking at the screencaps on Becky's Blog, and it made me reminisce for the game.

TeniPuri Musical lyrics on Aoi's blog. (I think her name is Aoi...) It throws me completely because now I know who the voices belong to, and they weren't what I thought they were. Here I was thinking "Inui sounds pretty much like what I thought he would from his looks", and it turns out the voice was actually Tezuka's. I was wondering why the word "data" turned up in the part about Fuji in Kore wa Seigaku Regyuraa and who in their right mind would refer to himself as "Mister Perfect"...
I think Moriyama Eiji looks better when he's not doing publicity shots. His picture on the *pnish* site looks better. To me, he seems to look more like Momo when he's not made-up like Momo. The candid shot from the musical is funny. I wish I could see it.

Got call from Diane O'L today telling me that they had bad news on my room. Scared me, but it only turned out that they had mislabeled the rooms on the floor plan and the room I had was actually the RAs room. The solution, I switch rooms with the RA. She called to ask if that were okay. The rooms are the same dimension, etc, so the only difference is that the room is next door to the room I had initialed.
Heh, it's not like I would have actually known if they switched the rooms without telling me.
Still, the room may end up being Jessica's if she likes it better. Whatever she decides; I'll just be happy with a single anywhere.

I should start packing, but I don't wanna. :(

I was an idiot. I know I shouldn't have said this: "sent in the last of my first few supplementals", because now it's coming back to bite me in the ass. I just got emails from 3 more schools saying I need to fill out their supplementals because AMCAS had told them that I really do exist (aka, AMCAS has sent them my verified application). I HATE filling out applications.

Last day at volunteering. The people are so nice!! They gave me a shirt and a stationery set as a going-away present. Very sweet.

Have fun, you. Man, you're away, Tam-Linh and X are only on once in a while, so I'll be all alone for a couple of days. Fine, I'll occupy myself with anime, internet, packing, and applications. Bleh, that last one sounds horrible.

Finally! I got my high school GPA and sent in the last of my first few supplementals. Apparently, the lady who handles academic records at my high school (who didn't return my calls at all for ten days) only goes in in the mornings, which is why I always got her voicemail when I called. Today I was off from the hospital, so I called in the morning and she got it for me.

Tomorrow's my last day volunteering, barely squeaking out the required 64 hours. Strange thing happened yesterday. I went in to talk to the volunteer coordinator. when I turned around, there was my old high school classmate standing behind me. It was STRANGE. I was caught completely off-guard, and I was in a hurry, so I was pretty anti-social. I think maybe she works in the afternoons since I've never seen her name on the sign-in sheet. Well, I'm usually one of the first five people there, so that's not much of a surprise.

Hope you had fun with Sarah.

Nice pictures... hehehe

Because I have been rewatching Fruits Basket lately, here's a Furuba fic that's fun: Meet the Brother. Ayame is adorable.
Rewatched eps 5-7 today. I like making random connections, so here's the FB-PoT connection: Hatori very much like Tezuka. Except Tez is not angsty like Ha-san. Both are very stoic and has to keep their cool authoritative image, but at the same time, they both care a lot about the people they let into their lives. They both also have some sadistic tendencies like Tezuka making the team run lots and lots of laps and Ha-san taking a picture of Kyou and Yuki while Yuki is in that dress.
Fuji of course is like Shigure. Gure is so much fun. (By the way, after listening to Yuki again, Fuji no longer sound all that girly even in his songs.)
Now, only Aya's missing. But I don't think anyone can fill Ayame's shoes.

*Sigh* To depress myself a little, this time next week, I will be back at school.

Episode 64 screencap by Oro_noda at CaptiveHearts.
Look at the things Inui's throwing into the pot.
You can see his ingredients are (among other things) a voodoo doll and a pair of boys underwear. Yeah, I think Inui's really the lechiest of all the Seigaku boys. Even Fuji has a sweatdrop.
It really begs the question: Just exactly whose underpants are those? *cackle*

I have just a little too much time on my hands this summer. You must be pretty bored too to be here. Anyway, this is a way for me to stave off boredom-induced comas until I find something better to do. Other things I'm doing: watching too much TV, rewatching old episodes of PoT.

Currently obsessed with:

Fruits Basket
Hellsing
PoT
