First Attempt

I have just a little too much time on my hands this summer. You must be pretty bored too to be here. Anyway, this is a way for me to stave off boredom-induced comas until I find something better to do. Other things I'm doing: watching too much TV, rewatching old episodes of PoT.

Current series:

Fruits Basket
Hellsing
PoT

Male Anime Characters:

Best of the best:
Hatori (FB) || Alucard (Hellsing) || Fuji (PoT)
(Wow, Fuji made it there with the big boys....)

Others:
Ayame, Shigure, Yuki, Kyou, Haru, Momiji (FB) || Walter, Yan Valentine *cackle* (Hellsing) || Sesshoumaru, Miroku (Inuyasha) || Oishi, Eiji, Tezuka, Ryoma, Kaidoh [Seigaku]; Shinji, Kamio, Tachibana [Fudomine]; Yuuta, Duckie, Mizuki (because I love to hate him) [St. Rudy's]; Jiroh, Atobe, Ootori [Hyoutei]; Nanjiroh, Karupin (all PoT) || Vash, Wolfwood (Trigun)

Don't know why I assumed that Karupin is male.
That's it for the ones off the top of my head. I'm sure there are more.

Female Anime Characters:

Integral (Hellsing) || Honda Tohru, Hana-chan, Uo-chan (FB) || Ryusaki Sumire (PoT)
Uh... That's a very short list.

Current music:
80-90's HK pop
Jacky Cheung
Anita Mui
Alan Tam
Leslie Cheung
PoT Character Songs
Hellsing soundtracks

Just listened to TeniPuri Radio 13, which is the one with Yuuta and Shiba. I felt so bad for Yuuta in that last skit! He sounds so happy and hopeful before everyone called him Fuji's little brother. And that "otoutou-kun" (sp?) from Fuji was just mean. *cackle* They are so cute. :-)
Must get off computer now.... I'm getting dizzy.

Hmm, Gloria, I think we spent waaaaayyyyy too much time together this year.
Sakurazuka Seishirou
Anime Villain / Antagonistic Character Selector

brought to you by Quizilla
This is a character from X, right? (I recognize the name from Wankage. I really like the last chapter; I still don't understand the characters, but it was hilarious anyway.) I did recognize Alexander Anderson's answers right away. Luckily, I didn't recognize any of the others, so I don't have to be suspicious of my results.
I noticed that I usually end up getting my favorite characters (Hatori, Fuji, Integral/Alucard), and I don't know if it's because I subconsciously try to get them, or if I just like people I am like. hehe

It is still really hot today, and I am babysitting an almost-1-yr old who doesn't understand that clinging to someone makes you hotter.

Got my check from Chris in the mail yesterday. Wow, he's paying me a lot of money for work that hasn't been done yet. Am waiting for his notes in the mail so I don't feel as useless as I do now. Too bad that even before I can cash the check, I will have used up the money on apps.

PoT... Next episode, I think Taichi, the boy from Yamabuki, is imitating Echizen? The people behind the show are pretty good about putting in fanservice-y fillers after long arcs. Am downloading PoT 13 today. So slow. :-( Oh well.

I need to rant...

I HATE KAISER!!!!!

They are driving me insane!!! I got my chest x-rayed three weeks ago. I asked them what I needed to do for my results. They said they'll send them to me. Two weeks later, nothing, so I called asking how long it was supposed to take, and they tell me 2-3 days. Apparently, I was supposed to have filled out a form if I wanted my results sent to me. Then they told me that they would have it out in the mail the next day. One week later, nothing. Call them again, and this time, the bitch says very condescendingly, "Don't you know it takes 2-3 weeks for mail from Kaiser?" No, I didn't know that. If I did, I wouldn't have called now, would I? She's giving me attitude even though I was trying to be polite about it. I complained that I was told nothing about the form when I got the test taken and was never shown such a form, and she said "Okay" as if I made it up. I got so pissed I had to hang up on her before I started yelling at her. ARRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

So after that, it is no surprise that I bring you this:

The Dante's Inferno Test has banished you to the Fifth Level of Hell!

Last comment. Have you ever noticed how Eiji's voice changes in PoT? Rewatch the early episodes... his voice was lower, more serious in the first 15 or so eps.

Arg, my sister woke me up at 7:53 this morning. I think that, judging by how sleepy I was, I might have actually slept past 8 for the first time in a week. But no such luck. :-(
My sister picks today of all days to go into SF. It's probably the hottest day in three weeks, and Chinatown is surrounding by skyscrapers. Just because SF is on the bay, doesn't mean they get wind everywhere.
Sorry, I just hate hot weather. I burn easy and get headaches from being in the sun too long. When I don't feel good, I rant. (I rant if I feel good too.)

Tam-chan, of course you're special. I gotta suck up to you. Who else will supply me with PoT when I get back to school? :-P
Gloria, MJ, whoever you are, I want to see your blog! Do you actually have a layout unlike me? How's MCATs studying?

I want to see the chibi episode! It just aired, right? And the next TeniPuri radio show. Man, this is a good week for PoT.

jumping off the walls with excitement
I found out one more thing.... The Christine will be Lisa Vroman!!!!!!!!!
I'm sure you don't know, but Lisa was the Christine in Christine Company for the entire 6 year run at the Curran. She is EXCELLENT.... as in specifically selected to sing at the Hey Mr. Producer event for Cameron Macintosh a few years back and now personally asked by Hal Prince to do the SF/LA legs of the tour. Yeah! Her voice is SO beautiful.
AAAAAAACCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKK. This summer is so not good for my bank account.

Candy needs a life

Been on an Oishi kick lately... probably because of Bowling no Ohjisama. So glad they're made that episode!
I apologize for the ads. I'm too broke to actually pay for the site.
Also, if the images I used are yours, please yell at me. I saved them onto the comp a while ago, but can't remember who I got them from. They were with pictures of chibi Fuji.

Don't rewatch old filler episodes of PoT while you're eating. I nearly choked on my food watching Najiroh, Momo, and the first-year trio stalk Ryoma and Sakuno on their "date".

I've been waking up really early these last few mornings, and I woke up at 6:30 on Saturday. After an hour of failing to fall back asleep, I started watching cartoons. First I watched Yu-Gi-Oh! (more about that later), but then I came upon this insane little show on Fox called Fighting Foodons. Click on "About the Show". It's like a cross between Iron Chef and YuGiOh. Am highly amused.

Back to YuGiOh for a moment. This has become my little guilty pleasure this summer. Guilty because I am watching the oh-so-bad dubs on KidsWB, pleasure because the dubbing is sooooooo funny.

Unfortunately, I don't know the Japanese names of the characters, but here are some thoughts:

  • Yugi has the most interesting clothing.... a collar?
  • I love their coats.
  • Tea (I think her name in Japanese is Anzu?) is a weenie chick, at least from the little I've seen of her.
  • Am amused by Kaiba Seto. Not sure why.
  • Bakura reminds me of Inuyasha. I blame the hair.
  • Tristan (the non-dueling guy of the quartet) reminds me of Oishi. Again, it's the hair.
  • The Dark Magician (Yugi's favorite card) has really pretty eyes.
  • People slash Yami Yugi with Yugi?!?! o_O
  • I don't like his voice(s), but I am quite impressed with the main voice actor who plays pretty much almost every male role.
  • Joey's (the blond dueler) accent is hilarious. "Youse guys ain't gonna get away with dis."

I now want to see the Japanese version really badly. hehehe

That was long and pointless, eh?
